Simply amazing! From the moment we arrived at the restaurant until dessert. The atmosphere was enhanced by a DJ who created a great vibe without the music ever being intrusive. We enjoyed a truly fantastic wine, with an impeccable starter, main course, and dessert. Service was flawless. Absolutely worth the price.

We just loved this place and stumbled across it based on reviews. It's rare when the ambience, food, service and music are aligned for a simply stunning evening. The food is definitely creative and plating is gorg. Service is super friendly - Costadina and Stavros were great to get to know and we appreciated their recommendations. The restaurant wasn't even super busy last night as it's the beginning of the season but the garden setting was still magical with the dim sexy lighting. The music was the icing on the cake and honestly made last night one of my fave dining experiences - and we've been around! Kudos to the team - I would come back to Zakynthos just to dine here again! Definitely go! X

We had noticed that a well-known Norwegian public figure had visited the place a few weeks ago and shared very positive feedback. This piqued our interest, and we were eager to try it ourselves. The food was absolutely exceptional, and the tables were set in a charming courtyard surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery. The service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we had indulged in a rather large lunch earlier in the day, so we only had a main course. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend coming prepared to enjoy a three-course meal—or even more. This place comes highly recommended. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience!

From the welcome to the farewell, the staff was absolutely amazing. Attention to every detail and each member of the staff knew exactly what to do. The cuisine is exquisite on all of its aspects. Fragrant colors, perfect blend of textures as well as flavors.

If there’s one dish on the menu you should order, it’s definitely the Sugo starter. I love that for every dish served, the waiters and waitresses give a brief explanation of what you’re about to enjoy, like how a course menu would be done. Very attentive staffs as well.

First I must mention that I am French and that my expectations might be different. As for my relation with time (and money). The place is great, the staff is friendly. And the food is exquisite. Nevertheless tonight it seems like there were huge organizational issues. For a table of 6, it took us 3h for a stater-main-desert. As I said, staff was very sympathic but we have seen like 5 or 6 of them. Not to mention the software issue where our orders had not been properly registered.This explains the somehow hectic service. All in all, taking into considération the value for money, i put a little 2/5 because with such prices (especially on this location), you should-could improve the expérience (As an example and like the icing on the cake, another (new) waiter had us pay the bill. Bill totally in Greek so impossible to check and then it was automatically selecting a 15% tip that we refused. We would have rather considered apologies for the long service and some shots tbh.)

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. We ate here on our first night and I had a mixed grill and it was unreal. One of the gents working suggested coming back and trying the Jack Daniel’s ribs on the special and we are so glad we did. Absolutely unreal food and service, very friendly and welcoming. Visiting the same place again for more than 9 years, the concept has changed from being a tavern to now more like a restaurant, where the food is served on a plate and the portions are smaller, but the taste experiences are better. There is a little less coziness. If you want this kind of restaurant style but for a good price, I definitely recommend you to visit.

Overall a nice experience but did feel a little like a tourist trap. The food was okay, tasted fine but nothing special: looked much prettier than it tasted. The atmosphere was fun and lively but not too loud and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside were the many people trying to sell us things while we were eating.

No major complaints about the food, except the mediocre garlic bread. €5 for 4 small, dry slices, which wasn’t what I expected. The bigger issue was the service, which felt rushed. The waiter left our plates piled with all the cutlery on top, and we had to sort everything ourselves. Same with the glasses. At one point I had to ask her to clear our finished plates, and she paused like it was an inconvenience before finally taking them. Hopefully, they work on improving their service.

One of the best restaurants in Lefkada. The sea food and fish are super fresh and done to perfection. Delicious dishes. The service is impeccable. Prices are fair, especially relative to what you get. A must visit.

Food was veeery good! So tasty and simply delicious. My favorites where the starters: Saganaki Feta and Dolmadas. Also if you like wine, their home white wine was perfect - semi sweet 🤌🏼

The place felt quite touristy, the ambience was fine but nothing exceptional. The food was nothing above average, and the wait time for our order was very long, with too few waiters to handle a full house efficiently. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t rate it as highly as 4.6.

Great restaurant, highly recommend to come. We tried Seafood tagliatelle, Pizza special, Pork gyros, Baked feta and Feta wrapped in pastry, everything was great! You even get free desert. We also tried Semisweet house white wine and it was perfect. We were here twice and will come back again!8’u

We got to The Barrel around 8 PM and waited just a few minutes for a table – the place was packed! Even though there were only a few waiters, the service was fantastic and very attentive. All the food we ordered was delicious. The zucchini croquettes were absolutely amazing – a must-try! I’ll definitely be coming back!

My partner and I chose Peppermint Restaurant for our last night out, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The service was truly outstanding. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our meal. It really elevated the whole evening. And the food! Oh, the food. Our fish was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. But the real showstopper? The prawns were to die for – seriously, some of the best we've ever had. Considering the high quality of the food and the excellent service, we found the price to be very reasonable. It felt like great value for such a memorable dining experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Peppermint Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, wonderful service, and a truly enjoyable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back on our next visit!

With a romantic and very uplifting professional atmosphere. Good food, my favourite must be the cheese with filo and honey, oh my god I always order this dish and I have to say this one is definitely from the best, the cheese melts so nicely, beautifully fried! The mushrooms as well really good! The seafood is very tasty and a good portion but I would recommend it with pasta. The soy honey chicken was fresh but not my favorite. Still a really good modern greek food option! Definitely get the cheese with honey if you are a fan of that dish!

The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and makes sure every detail and request is taken care of. I had a wonderful romantic dinner with my husband in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I truly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely come back!

A real very nice restaurant where they know how to handle the guests. Dishes are delicious, once you ask for an interval between the courses, they immediately understand and also remeber your wish when you come back on another day. For me “heaven” around the corner of the main street with all the average restaurants.

There's nothing to not like here. The food is all freshly cooked to order and is simply outstanding. Because its upstairs you get a good view of the strip. Everyone who works here is passionate about what the do here. Simply amazing 👏 😍

Super kind host that had a lot of passion for his restaurant, also his kids help out which is lovely. The food was excellent and priced sharp. Also they have delicious wine which they produce themselves.

Highly recommended, Nick and his team were very friendly and welcoming. Julian acknowledged us without pressure and made us want to explore more as we hadn’t eaten, from this point on the level of service didn’t wain. We soon realised that Julian and I had at some point been neighbours back in England (Plymstock) such a small world 😊 Food was excellent and couldn’t fault even when adjustments were requested for a fussy eater or that extra touch of garlic was needed. Drinks were refreshingly cold and much needed after a hard day in the sun 😂 Menu and portion sizes were exemplary, you had plenty to choose from and certainly left feeling totally satisfied, full bellies all round, from the starters through to heavenly desserts. We returned twice more before leaving the Island for all the reasons mentioned above. We would like to thank Nick and his dedicated team all the very best for the future and hope our paths will cross once again. Meh. Expensive, dry, stingy topping pizzas. Disappointed. Also, service was fairly miserable. They even took our kids food away (tbf, he had finished) without asking if finished.. ...which is just basic courtesy. Not as good as when we came here years ago. Nice guy touting outside though.

Dined here 4 nights out of 7. Food was perfect, amazing service, Nikos couldn't do enough for me. I highly recommend his homemade Malbec 🤤

The place looks lovely and has a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service and food didn’t live up to the setting. We waited over an hour just to get served, and everything from taking our order to bringing the food was painfully slow. While we could have overlooked the delay if the food had made up for it, that wasn’t the case. We ordered the mixed grill for two. The portion was generous, but the meat was dry, with some pieces even burnt. Overall, the food lacked seasoning and flavor. The only dish we actually enjoyed was the tyrokafteri appetizer, but honestly, you can find it just as good in many other places around Tsilivi. To top it off, even paying the bill was frustrating. After telling the waiter we wanted to pay by card, it took 10 minutes just to get the bill, and then no card machine was brought, even though we had clearly mentioned it. We ended up having to walk to the bar to pay, even though we’d seen them bring the machine to other tables earlier. Overall, a very underwhelming experience. There are plenty of other restaurants in Tsilivi that offer better service and food for the same price or less.

Everything was magnificent, from food to atmosphere, staff and everything else. The food was fresh, delicious and big portions. The chef was very professional and friendly with everyone, trying to bring the food as soon as possible. I really enjoyed the time spent at Avli Taverna. Honestly, everything here was amazing. The serving is the best i ever had, extremly friendly staff like you are served by one of your friends, good vibe, little funny jokes. The meal comes fast, even if it’s full and the ingredients feels fresh, and tasteful. They even have a little playground with toys for the kids, so you can enjoy your dinner. The tradition of this tavern is that you can ask for a little wooden plate that comes with a pen, so you can leave a review of the experience or a message and they will hang it above the tables, and everyone can read it, also they will ask you if you want it hanged this year or for the next one. If you want no regrets, this is your place.

Had an incredible meal at Avli Taverna! The grilled swordfish was absolutely perfect – flaky, moist, and packed with flavor. But the real showstopper was the octopus. Tender, smoky, and seasoned just right, it's easily some of the best I've ever had. The house white wine was a nice accompaniment to the meal and the complimentary drink after the meal was a lovely gesture. If you're looking for fantastic seafood in a lively Greek setting, this is your spot!

We stumbled upon this beautiful spot just outside of the main road with the shops and restaurants. It’s still near the beach (within walking distance). We enjoyed a relaxed lunch in the shade. The food was delicious and the owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even have a place for kids to play. A perfect stop for a delicious meal away from the crowds! (I think the restaurant had a makeover, ignore the reviews with the photos with the white chairs)

The reviews and recommendations about this place are so very true! Between the food (huge portions) the ambience (warm light, flowers above the table) and wine (1L of local rose) we had the best time. The food was extremely good - we enjoyed the Red Snapper and the Pork Tenderloin. They were also able to accommodate us late at night - we were among the last to leave.

During our 11-day stay, we dined at Avli on at least 8 evenings — and each time was a delight. The service is impeccable, the staff warm and attentive, and the food… absolutely delicious. Every dish bursts with authentic Greek flavors, and the atmosphere captures the very essence of Greek hospitality. To the wonderful team at Avli: thank you for making our holiday unforgettable — once again. We’ll carry the memories with us and can’t wait to return.

We’ve been coming to The Venetian Well every year — it’s always been one of our favorite spots in Corfu for the atmosphere, the beautiful square, and what used to be an elegant, gourmet dining experience. Sadly, this time was very different. We made our reservation a week in advance and were asked to prepay €80, which we found unusual, but we trusted the experience would be worth it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The staff were very kind, but the service was extremely slow. There was a fixed Easter menu, and no one asked about our dietary preferences. Out of five courses, two included mageiritsa (Greek Easter soup made from lamb intestines) — something neither of us can eat or enjoy. In the end, it was our dog who helped finish the plate. We paid €85 per person for a set menu where we genuinely disliked almost half the dishes. To top it off, the card machine wasn’t working, and we had to pay in cash, which caused further delay. It breaks my heart to say this, but something has changed here. What used to be a refined, special dining spot now feels like a forced set-menu place with none of the finesse we loved. After many visits over the years, this was, unfortunately, our last.

The location is absolutely beautiful and romantic – a perfect setting for a special evening. The reservation system can feel a bit demanding, with strict time slots and a required deposit, but given the size of the restaurant and the peak tourist season, it is understandable. The restaurant itself is charming and very pleasant. We opted for the tasting menu, which was excellent – the food was creative, well-prepared, and definitely worth trying. There is a lot of staff, but somehow the energy and atmosphere they aim for with a fine dining concept doesn’t fully come through. It feels like something small is missing to really elevate the experience to the next level. Overall, the food is great and the setting is wonderful. Despite the small drawbacks, Venetian Well is definitely worth visiting if you are in Corfu.

We had an amazing experience celebrating our three-year anniversary at the restaurant and enjoyed every moment. We chose the tasting menu, which included eight courses each—two starters, three first courses, a main course, a pre-dessert, and a dessert. The dishes were incredibly unique in their flavors and ingredient combinations, though not necessarily the most delicious I’ve ever had. A special highlight was the crab dish, to which we added caviar—it was outstanding! Very unique, with unusual flavor pairings that created an explosion of taste. The dessert was also exceptional, both in presentation and in its flavors and textures. I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s a special experience, well worth enjoying on a meaningful occasion.

Tucked away from all the chaos of old Corfu town, this beautiful restaurant is a breath of fresh air! The scenery is picturesque and the food is next level! Local ingredients take on a modern twist while the service is old school fine dining at its finest. The tasting menu was amazing! The watermelon crab dish was one of my favorite dishes in Greece!

Excellent experience totally worth the money. We had full tasting menu with the wine pairing. It was not just a food or dinner, but a journey through Greek wines, regions and flavors. We were super impressed by how thoughtfully each wine was selected for the food and how gracefully it actually complimented the dish. Restaurant team was well coordinated and worked like a clock. If I could give them some award, I would right now for both creative cuisine and especially wine pairing in particular. So so so worth it. Would love to come back later.

We were lucky enough to get a table on a lark without reservations and it's like the gods were looking out for us! I won't lie, I'm kind of a food snob, and while I think in general food in Greece is mmm mmm good, this place really blew my expectations away. Located in a tucked away, picturesque courtyard next to the eponymous Venetian Well, this is a gem of a restaurant that easily earns all the rave reviews. The flavors are so delicate yet complex and beautifully executed. The service is so attentive. The presentation alone is art worthy. One of the things we tried was the olive oil risotto, which sounded so simple but the flavors and textures combined into a symphony for the senses. Three of us ate there and the only reason we didn't actually lick our plates was because we were too full to move. A meal like this would cost us at least $250/person back home. We paid about $90 per person, including drinks. A night well spent, to be sure!

We had lunch here and it was a great experience. The food was very tasty, portions were generous, and prices were fair. The atmosphere felt warm and family-like, which we really appreciated. The waiter was super friendly and brought us garlic bread on the house. His mother had made a homemade cheesecake with caramel and yogurt — absolutely delicious — and we were kindly offered a slice. We also got to try a cinnamon and coffee liqueur, plus a special wine with elderflower and apple flavors. Everything felt genuine and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back during our stay in Zakynthos!

Ate here twice. All staff was very nice, the mom is really friendly. My souvlaki and salmon were all delicious, but the chicken lemon my bf had was a bit too dry. VERY BIG PORTION! Garlic bread was so good! Feeling of eating your mom's food.

This place is just 100 yards from our hotel and we’ve walked past it a few times to eat in town, but we were recommended it by the bar man at IonBlue hotel (really good guy, Kelvin), and it did not disappoint. You are Greeted by a no nonsense Greek Mama, who is really funny and welcoming, the kids love her straight away. The food is proper Greek food, lamb stews, beef and pasta hot pots, salads with every fruit and nut you’ve never heard of, and a spag Bol for 2 fussy kids, makes a change from chips and bread. It’s on an unassuming side street off the Main drag, so it’s quiet and peaceful with low level traditional Greek music in the back ground. It’s a true gem tucked away from the buzz of Kalamaki, highly recommended

Nice place located near our hotel. We arrived there hungry and we came out happy. The personell was polite and friendly, the food was tasty and they served it as a picture, attention for details and make people comfortable. It should be so for every restaurant. Prices are quite high but the quality deserves it. I suggest to try saganaki prawns and peppers baked filled with feta, special dishes of greek cousine, and special mention to the fish, fresh and delightful

Beautiful location and good food. We've been here on the island for 5 days, and 3 out of 5 we ate food from this restaurant. 2 times for takeout and once in the restaurant itself. The people working here are very nice and patient. My partner who never liked eggplant, actually loved the eggplant feta dish I ordered first. As a main dish I ordered the chicken souvlaki, and as a dessert a really difficult word, but it had to do with oranges. The food was really good and we had a really good time. If we return to this island, this restaurant is a definitely a place we would visit again.

We came across this wonderful taverna thanks to a local guy from the shore who we rented a boat from — and it turned out to be the best decision! The view from the restaurant is simply magical, and the whole ambiance made us feel completely at ease. We went around 1 p.m. for lunch and enjoyed a delicious spread — a fresh Greek salad, crispy fried squid, and a savory beef patty that stood out from everything else we tasted here. It seemed completely homemade, filled with herbs and rich in flavor, different from any other patty you’d find somewhere else. The homemade bread was a perfect match to all the dishes. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were more than enough. We left feeling completely satisfied and happy. If you’re looking for a place with great food, wonderful views, and a charming atmosphere, this taverna is a must-visit!

We did enjoy the atmosphere and the view, and the attention of the waiters was superb. Food: enjoyed the appetizers, salads and mains, but the slides to the main dishes (potato, salads) didn't taste fresh, probably frozen.

An exceptional taverna!🥂 Out of our 6 days in Zakynthos, we came here 3 times. We tried many dishes from the menu and everything was absolutely delicious! The waiter is very professional and friendly, always ready to answer any questions and happy to respond in the language you speak. Best tradițional greek food! The waiters are impecable, friendly, they welcome you with a smile. They treat you with desserts free of charge( icecream for the kids, ouzo for the men and a sweet wine for the ladies). On wednesday night they have live music. We visited Scloubou’s Tavern twice during our stay, and both times we were greeted with a warm smile and truly outstanding service. One of the waiters had learned several phrases in many different languages and greeted guests accordingly—a fun and charming little detail that made us feel especially welcome. Visited here for dinner in early September. The food and service were amazing! Drinks and wine selection as well. We ordered a variety of dishes from the appetizers and mains. Seafood, steak, and deserts were perfectly prepared. The chocolate cigar was, in particular, the best desert. I would happily recommend this restaurant to others visiting this area of Greece!

We love everything about this restaurant. We rented a boat in Agni and got exhausted after sailing all day, so we walked in for dinner, not expecting it to be the most amazing restaurant of our entire trip. The scallops were perfectly cooked and super fresh. The fried calamari and shrimp fried rice were also perfect. They tasted like the calamari and shrimp had just been harvested from the ocean and gone straight into the kitchen. And we were also amazed by the dessert. The chocolate cigar was exceptionally good. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends traveling in Corfu.

Delicious food on the prettiest beach with tables right on the water. Food was delicious but be prepared to spend more than a usual restaurant. Seafood risotto was delicious as was the slow cooked beef. To finish, the lemon dessert was beautiful and the perfect end to the meal. Staff are extremely attentive and there is a private parking lot.

Amazing! We walked round from Kaminaki Beach and received a very warm welcome. The food and service were absolutely second to none. So much so, we did the walk again and went back, we love it here, thank you team Toula!

We had a selection of food- from sea food to meat to pasta. The wait for the food was a bit long but the restaurant was full but once the food came it was delicious! We also got dessert Cremebrule and death by chocolate - but that wasn’t that great! The bill came to 240 euro which was average :) great view and great setting

This was both the best restaurant and location to eat and get a drink in Agia Sostis. The starters menu is great meze and a bit more experimental than other places. There are fewer wasps (a huge blessing). The owners are welcoming and there is space for kids to play. Most of all enjoy eating good food with the sea an arms reach away.

Visited on our first night and it was the best night overall! View fantastic. The staff were so friendly and happy , huge smiles all round ! The music was great too. As for the food, 14 dishes all came out perfect , delicious and hot. A huge thank you for making it an amazing evening.

At restaurants they always say that the seafood is fresh but I have never eaten squid so fresh like at this place! All the other food was fantastic as well and the staff is really nice and welcoming!

The staff at Ta Kokoria were incredibly kind and accommodating for our large group, especially given the heavy thunderstorm that had just passed and being quite early for our booking to get some refuge from the rain. The food was incredibly delicious, with multiple good vegetarian options (the mushroom risotto was amazing) and the portions and prices were great. Would highly recommend Ta Kokoria.

Nestled in a charming side street just steps from Liston and St. Spyridon’s bell tower, we discovered a family-run taverna where the warm and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The menu featured generous portions of freshly prepared Greek classics, including dolmades, grilled graviera, traditional Greek salad, sardoni grigliati, beef pastitsada and creamy sofrito, all complemented by excellent wine.

Nice restaurant, good food. I had grilled octopus and my wife had calamari risotto. I`m don`t eat fish, but these 2 dishes were amazing. For a full meal, meaning 1 starter, 2 main dishes and 1 dessert, we paid around 80 euros. Nice ambiance.

The food that we got ( Greek salad tzaziki garlic bread and shrimp) were amazing, would definitely go again it was not food but an experience in itself, the waitress was incredibly nice friendly and fast! We got seated immediately and got our food pretty fast! Regarding the price of the food it's definitely worth it, in the center of Old Town Corfu but not crowded like other restaurants.

The Highlight of Our Ionian Sailing Trip! On our skipper's stellar recommendation, our family of 16 had dinner at Mills during a sailing trip around the islands. This was, without a doubt, the best stop of our entire journey. Accommodating a group our size can be a challenge, but the staff at Mills were incredibly welcoming and handled our party flawlessly. The service was excellent. Every single person, from the youngest to the oldest, was delighted with their meal. To please a party of 16 is no small feat, and they succeeded brilliantly. If you find yourself in Ithaca, Mills is a must-visit for a truly memorable meal. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Went there there first time in 2022. We had a blast, the food was amazing, the location very beautiful and the service very kind and friendly. Today - it was actually the same and I was glad to remember the restaurant and share the experience with others.

Mills is the best restaurant in the whole of Ithaca, the food is stunning and the service is even better. Massive thank you to Melissa for being the best ever, and such a lovely gorgeous angel, I basically only come for her and the incredible food every time, can’t recommend this place enough!

Well. the maitre d'hotel stopped us as we passed and as part of his patter said essentially “ if you don’t like the food you don’t pay, if you do, you pay double”. Having surveyed almost the whole quay (late October), we returned to dine -and were unimpressed. The starters were unusual for Greece (we thought) but the pork steaks were very well cooked . We had three chicken dishes - one of which was undercooked/raw. The replacement meal had not arrived after 20mins at which point we tried to leave. But leaving without paying for the meal we hadn’t eaten proved difficult. It took 15 minutes to agree the bill; we paid it and left. Most disappointing.

We went there twice and it was the best food we had in Kioni by far. The seafood pasta was delicious and our little one was a fan of the pastitsada - the chef knows what they're doing. From the entrance of the restaurant, you understand the quality of the serivce. Everybody was so polite and friendly. Our table was next to sea, ideal for a romantic or relaxing dinner. The food was upscale and very delicious. We had the fish of the day and the linguine with seafood. Definitely recommended

The view is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere becomes magical as it starts to get dark. We had our table set right by the sea, which made the experience even more special. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is varied, giving you the chance to try different flavors, all of them delicious. For outdoor tables, there is a minimum spend of €50 per person. The wine we chose, I think it was a Verde, was quite acidic and not really to our taste, but that’s more a matter of personal choice.

The restaurant has a very good view and service but prices are extremely high. We paid 8€ for a bottle of water and 14€ for a bread chest (4 pieces) which sounds more like a tourist’s trap rather than an exclusive restaurant. It’s a pity that everything is so expensive. We had a good dinner but won’t recommend this place. Sorry! 😫

We had a lovely dinner here and were really impressed by the quality of the food , everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into the kitchen. The staff were very kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The location itself is also beautiful , a very nice atmosphere. The only small downside (and this might have just been because it was a quiet night) was that the three staff members were standing together in a row, directly facing the tables. It made us feel a bit watched at times, which felt slightly uncomfortable. Maybe they were just trying to stay attentive, but some more distance or movement might help guests feel more at ease. That being said, we still had a fantastic experience overall and would definitely come back.

This place is gem. The restaurant atmosphere by the beach was outstanding. The food was top quality interms of ingredients and flavors. everything was great and the tuna tartar scored the highest for us. The service was top notch. The waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended

Avoid like the plaque. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s hard to mess up a simple dish like bruschetta, but trust me here they managed to do that. It was horrible. The feta in filo pastry was completely cold in the middle , Lukewarm overall. Got some “Greek bread” which was completely inedible. The main course was a complete let down. Prices might look good but you’d be better spending your money elsewhere.

Great local food, rabbit stew very nice. We created our own mezz-platter. Irish coffee at €5 is a nice way to end the meal. Prices very reasonable, house wine very nice.

This is such a good restaurant highly recommended when you are here. Very good atmosphere lovely service food is amazing. Very family friendly. Welcome everyone even has a playground in the back for kids so parents can have a nice time and so can the kids. Highly recommended.

I would have loved to give this place a bigger review. We ate here twice. The first night we had calamari grilled and is was okay. But the second night, I ordered octopus and the man who served us said it was fresh not frozen. When the plate came, I realised that what I got was not octopus but calamari tentacles ( they didn't have any suction cups like octopus, instead they had little hooks). The price was 15.5 euro, which I admit it made the scam a bit more acceptable because grilled octopus is usually around 21 euro. Other restaurants in this area do the same.

We’ve been here on Zakynthos since five days. And we’re eating a lot of yummy Greek food. BUT: The food here with Paolos Corner ist the best Greek food we’ve had! Meat is tender, beans have great hardness grade, cheese is cheesy², salad is super fresh, and the owners are so friendly and hospitable. We can highly recommend this spot! 😋

Yes, it is small and can feel a bit "squeezed" when it's full, but this only adds to its charm and authentic, lively vibe. The service was a little on the slow side, but this is completely understandable as the place was packed with customers. The staff were clearly working very hard to keep up with everyone. It’s not fast food; it’s a place to relax, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy a wonderful meal, so the wait was not an issue for us. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Last night here in Corfu and wanted to ended with the best restaurant in Benitses . Called in advance to reserve a table but we were too hungry to wait so we came earlier and was happily accepted and greeted By Kostas the owner . Had a few starters per usual the Greek salad , zucchini balls , and the tzatziki which were fresh and delicious For main course we had the Pastitsado , traditional Bianco sea bass and Cod croquettes All were excellent and arrived quickly even though the restaurant was full . We skipped dessert but they had some Homemade ones such as cheesecake, profiteroles. As a bonus there was two guys which played Greek music through the dinner

I am not a ragu type of girl but the spaghetti here is mind blowing. No other Greek restaurant makes it like Kilmataria. Book in advance. Professional service. Good house wine.

One of the better restaurants in the area. Above average service supported by great food and great wine. The sea-bass and the oven baked octopus were superb. We got in without a booking on the basis we were out by a certain time. If you haven’t booked it’s worth asking the question. Definitely book if you are thinking ahead. You may pay a little more, but money well spent!

We frequent this fish taverna regularly since 1990, i.e. for 35 years. We must have eaten there over 120 times. What more is there to be said! Every time we enjoyed superbe, fresh quality food. Unbeatable. In Michelin language: IT IS WORTH A TRIP from everywhere!!!

Believe every review you read about how good the food is - they're right! The meal we had was amazing and the service was outstanding (including the recommendations). Unfortunately, we only discovered Komis on our last night after suffering very tourist-centric meals elsewhere. While the prices where a bit higher that tourist traps, the quality was incredible....don't hesitate, just book a table here, you won't be disappointed! (If you've never tried smoked eel, try it here - it was perfection)

I so wanted it to be good, only for how lovely the owner is and its original rough location. the local 2 white wines were a success but the food failed dramatically and by a lot. the only passable dish was the poorly plated eel and that isn't made in-house. the sardines to be avoided, the mussels are bitter, the eggplant is swimming in garlic, and finally the 22euros for few grams of urchin was the mother of all insults and ripoff. Sorry owner.

This was a highlight of my holiday. The owner and waiters were warm and wonderful. I came here as i really wanted the red mullet. This fish brings me so many jappy memories being a child visiting my grandmother in greece and it was perfect. Its a very romantic setting but did not feel uncomfortable as a solo diner. Please go and eat there as the owner is retiring this year!! Thank you again for bringing so much joy in my dining experience.

After 2 weeks on the island with numerous great restaurants, this place ended up as our favorite. The waiters were welcoming, smiling, friendly and helpful. The place is a relaxed peaceful gem on a strip of loud and busy places. The place is so cozy designed, illuminated and laid out. It just makes your shoulders drop to 100% relax position. The food was tasty, well arranged and served on beautiful stylish plates. To top it all up there was live saxophone music softly playing a long with the cicadases. Also a perfect place just for drinks and cocktails.

Our daughter remembers a lovely dog in the restaurant, Lost. We've visited in May, August and October and always had brilliant meals.

Very pretty and scenic restaurant set back from the road, so much more relaxed and romantic than all the other restaurants. There are 4 well kept cats who roam and don’t bother you, the waiters told us they are well fed to stop guests being bothered. The food was lovely, the staff friendly and informative. Our waiter in particular was amazing and explained the food, helping us choose, we ate starter main and pudding (which we never normally do) with drinks and I felt the bill was more than reasonable, certainly not expansive. My wife said it was her favourite restaurant so far and that we must go back again before we leave. high praise indeed since we tend to try and eat in different places.

We had a Seafood Pizza, some pasta and two times the salmon and prawns dish. The prawns on the pizza were not peeled. It looked like a pizza margarita with some seafood dropped on top and it had no flavour. The same applies for the salmon and prawns dish, the prawns were not peeled and also difficult to peel. The potato wedges and rice was also very dry. The salmon itself was ok though and the pasta was also nice. In general it was kind of disappointing.

We booked the tree house table, under the impression that we would be slightly elevated and have a great view of the sunset whilst having dinner. I am afraid this is not the case due to the adjacent trees blocking g most of views of the sunset unless you are leaning over the edge of the railing one person at a time. You are between off booking a table on the sunset deck. Food was nice, but not nice enough to go more than once. Service is ok, the staff seemed to forget about us unless you grab their attention to even order a drink. Nice place for the sunset, but food and service average.

Posting this review as a tribute to this incredible restaurant which sadly is no longer in operation after the devastating wildfire of 12th Aug2025. I visited the restaurant to celebrate my birthday a couple of weeks ago and it was impeccable, felt as if it came straight out of a fairytale. I really wish that the owners will find the strength needed to rebuild it back from the ashes. Thank you for the beautiful memories which we will cherish for a very long time.

Really nice place overall as the atmosphere and views are unbeatable. The food is quite good as well and the service is a bit slow unfortunately but the views make up for it. It’s also is a bit on the pricier side and the food is good but not phenomenal. Regardless we still had a really enjoyable time here and I’d definitely recommend people to try it out once for themselves as we’d probably return again ourselves one day because the Sunset views here on their own are worth the experience and the food is quite good as well.

Easy to park, staff extremely welcoming and cheerful. Comfortable, relaxed but energetic atmosphere in a lovely setting. We had the 10 course tasting menu which was exceptional. Majority of the dishes were totally unique and not like anything we have had elsewhere. The perfectly presented plates offered varying temperatures and textures along with some very memorable flavours. The courses were served at a pace which was comfortable for us. All staff were friendly, informative and passionate and we liked that they had a sense of humour too.

A truly wonderful experience at Etrusco — we took the “Akron” course; would not say that the food is necessarily at a certain “star” level, but it is definitely great and you can see how much time and effort went into preparation of every single dish. The presentation is thoughtful as well, making the overall experience remarkable. The wine list is 40+ pages, and the mark-up is not offensive for a high-end place (particularly if you take Greek wines). Wines are served in proper varietal-specific glasses. The staff is professional and goes to great lengths to perform their best and explain the ingredients and history of every dish. A separate pleasure to meet chef Botrini!

After coming up the driveway to the restaurant you will be warmly greeted and shown to your table which is on the terrace underneath a tree. I would definitely recommend a reservation and basic chic clothes. The whole team was very friendly and helpful. Especially Dimitris, our main waiter and sommelier for the evening, was very nice and recommended us multiple great wines. The food itself was very high level. It was recognizable, that there has gone a lot of thought into each dish. We had a wonderful experience at Etrusco. As a small note, I would also prefer wines from all price categories because personally I am of the opinion that sometimes also simple wines can be a perfect match for very good food. The best restaurant we have been to this year. Amazing food with delicate yet complex dishes that have the history of the family of the chef and the Corfu itself. There is a beautiful scenery and an old tree growing right through the terrace. We went there to celebrate a birthday and it surpassed our expectations. It is definitely better than a lot of Michelin star restaurants we have been to and it definitely deserves a star

Spectacular place, service and most importantly food... Everything was just lovely as they make sure you feel welcomed and special. Thank you to the team and especially our waiter who spoke fluently Spanish and was able to provide us with the best of time !

Absolutely incredible restaurant. The dishes were small works of art and each course played with a variety of flavors textures and temperatures, often within one dish. The inspiration for each dish was also explained in detail as well as how this modern version ties back to its roots. The wine pairing did a wonderful job of round off all of the spectacular flavors. The freshly baked bread and olive oil must also be mentioned, because the moist but fluffy texture of the dark bread was unforgettable, especially when combined with their olive oil. We would have eaten much more bread if we weren’t worried about filling up before eating the other courses. A true culinary experience that we will never forget. We will definitely be back when we come back to Corfu!

Went for the Greek night, atmosphere was very good, the Greek music and dancers were very good. The food was good and when it came to the service and paying it was somewhat chaotic but enjoyed the night.

Arrived at 830 for out 830 booking and found ourselves sitting outside some hotel rooms. Table wasn't made and was garden table and chairs. The girl gave us menus with no children's menu and took our drink order after 5 minutes. We then waited 25 minutes for drinks and a children's menu where we gave up and walked out. See the photos for where a booking gets you. Also not Gyros on the Greek menu..... More food for the Europeans in a traditional Greek restaurant.

Overpriced microwave meal. We booked for the greek night on recommendation, the dancing was very fun however the food and service was subpar. We complained about the slow service after starters weren't served for over an hour for it being hummus and mushrooms. The mains arrived at nearly the 2 hour mark with the chicken giouvetsi being very bad and clearly microwaved with the orzo being crunchy, for the food we could not even complain as we were just rushed out and it being nearly €70 for 2 set menus (mandatory for greek night) and a carafe of wine.

We passed by this place and decided to sit down because it was busy and beautifully located by the water. We ordered pasta and had to wait 30 minutes, which usually is a good sign — long wait often means freshly prepared food and good quality. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. We’ve had pasta at 3–4 other places during our stay, including beachside spots, and this was by far the worst experience. The pasta lacked flavor and felt poorly prepared. A piece of advice: please train your staff to at least check in with guests during or after the meal to ask if everything is okay. It’s such a simple step that allows you to receive honest feedback and improve your service and quality.

It seemed like the nicest place in the area, but we had mixed feelings about going because of some low reviews. Still, it turned out to be the best decision. Everything was absolutely perfect, the food, the staff, the atmosphere. Plus, everything looks so aesthetic and beautiful in the evening.

When we were on vacation, we visited this restaurant twice and it was amazing! The food and the drinks were fantastic, full of flavour. The servers were great, especially our server, Joanna wich is an excellent girl! The vibe is also great! I truly recommend this restaurant!

Oh, the risotto. Creamy, hot, and perfectly tender - it didn't just melt in my mouth, it dissolved like a slow sigh. Each bite slid across my tongue with the softness of a lover's touch, rich and velvety, leaving behind a lingering warmth that made me close my eyes and breathe deeper. The way the flavors unfolded - subtle at first, then deeper, bolder, almost indecent in their intensity - felt like foreplay on a plate. I found myself slowing down, savoring every spoonful like a secret I didn't want to end. By the last bite, I wasn't sure whether I'd eaten dinner or been seduced. Either way, I left completely satisfied... and just a little breathless.

Great friendly service, AMAZING food! I had the peanut butter French toast and my husband had the red velvet pancakes. Both delicious :) Would highly recommend!

Ive never had worse food. Let me start by saying that we waited 15 minutes for service and when we finally ordered pancakes and tortilla we were wainting for 40 minutes straight, the tortilla came burnt as hell and wasnt even tasty and the filling in tortila was also really bad. I dont recommend

Extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant in Ithaca (especially as Greek). The staff was unfriendly and dismissive toward us from the beginning. Our food arrived more than an hour after ordering, and only after we reminded them three times. To make matters worse, the dishes that were supposedly "delayed" included steamed mussels, seafood kritharoto, and stuffed vegetables — nothing that should take this long. When we politely asked about the delay, instead of an apology, we were met with arrogance and excuses like, “It’s normal to wait an hour.” For pre-cooked stuffed vegetables? Really? What made the experience even more frustrating was not just the delay, the lack of apology, or the absence of any offer to cancel the order — but also the fact that when the food finally arrived, there were no spoons or napkins on the table. As for the prices, nothing was reasonably priced, nor was anything exceptionally good. Our order included a Cretan ntakos salad, some cheese pies (which were the only items that arrived promptly), stuffed vegetables with rice, steamed mussels (which were not fresh), seafood kritharoto, and one bottle of white wine — which alone cost €29. 100 in Total As for the excuse that “there were 100 customers,” the honest and professional thing to do would have been to tell us you couldn’t serve us in a reasonable time — so we could choose to eat somewhere else. No one chooses to sit through 90 minutes of waiting with only appetizers, a salad, and a bottle of wine. It’s common sense — it simply ruins the entire experience. If this is how you treat customers, don’t be surprised if we don’t come back. One word: avoid.

We have been coming to Kioni for many years, and eaten here in the past and always really enjoyed it. This time around was definitely a particular highlight. The appetisers were absolutely delicious and the seafood orzo was a massive stand out, along with the vegetable pasta! Staff are lovely and it has the most wonderful atmosphere.

Went for a two-week sailing charter around the Ionian sea in May of 2025 and no restaurant could best this one. Kioni itself is magical, but the food, service, and atmosphere provided at Calypso take it to a whole new level. No restaurant in (little) Vathy, (big) Vathy, Asos, Sami, Argostoli, Zakynthos, Agios Nikolaos, Fiskardo, or Lefkada comes close. We thankfully went here due to a glowing recommendation from a fellow English yachtsman. Best advice we received all trip. Can't wait to go back. Special shout-out to the Lamb Kleftiko & the Veal Fillet, though everything else was also amazing.

We visited Kioni on a boat tour of Ithaca. This was our lunch stop and the village is stunning. We chose Calypso to eat as they had a great menu that really wasn't overpriced given the location. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient and the food absolutely delicious. We all tried something different and there were no complaints. If you don't finish the bread provided (this was lovely too) save and feed the fish in the harbour! Would definitely eat here again if I'm ever visiting.

Absolutely fantastic authentic farm to plate Greek food. Service is amazing, everything is home cooked from the bread to the chips to the chicken from the host’s dad’s farm. We had a zucchini pie which was ridiculously good - farm grown and home made. The atmosphere is wonderful - all the tables a sat beneath trees. Is a perfect balance of feeling like you’re eating in someone’s home garden while still being at a restaurant.

Great foods, and nice seating atmosphere, the staff are friendly, just the service is a little bit slow. Recommend: - Greek salad - Moussaka - Grilled sea bass Note: their dog is so cute and friendly. He will gently beg you for meat (of course, we didn’t give him any, not sure if it’s allowed in the house)

We arrived for dinner and were quickly seated by some friendly staff, food came quick but was disappointing. The lamb was just fat and funny tasting and the Briam was tasteless. Felt unwell as a result of the lamb. The blonde lady stood over us after we received the bill until we left which made us feel uncomfortable. Very rude staff member. We will not be back.

Extremely disappointing experience. The rabbit was tough, dry, and full of small bones—nearly inedible. The French fries were just as bad: tasteless. On top of that, the blond waiter was very rude and dismissive, which made the whole visit even worse. Definitely not coming back.

Every time we dock in Vathy , we stop at Nikos. Lovely atmosphere, amazing food. Service is unprecedented and super friendly. Baked spinach pie with honey is to die for. Octopus was delicious pork kontosuvli was great as well. Will be back in October!

Niko is a wonderful chef, the staff is amazing, beautiful full roast whole lamb, salads, okra, shrimps, wine all wonderful. I had the head of the local lamb and amazing experience. 5stars.

We had a good experience here and all food was very good. From the pasta the kids shared to the fillet some of the guests had as main. We tried some of the meat starters and a fish main as well and all plates were well presented and super tasty. Treated with a fruit salad before leaving. It’s a bit more expensive than the average restaurant in Zakynthos but possibly still worth if you want the view and a bit more sophisticated dinner experience.

Al Nur Gourmet Food & Cocktail It’s a must when you visit Zakynthos. The view is just stunning, you can enjoy sunset while having a delicious dinner and staring at the sea. I went there twice during my stay at Ionian Hill Hotel as the food and the service were just amazing. The dishes surpassed the expectations, were delicious and well presented. The restaurant is using finest local ingredients (fish, fresh vegetables, herbs) and offers the best Greek meal experience and flavour, playing with different aroma and creating new mouth watering taste, which makes the difference. I highly recommend fne dining experience in Al Nur, definitely worth a visit!

I came here after reading the reviews and checking out the menu, but the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the seabass and it was honestly one of the worst fish dishes I’ve ever had. The fish itself was barely acceptable, but everything it was served with was a complete disaster — poorly thought out and unpleasant to eat. There was nothing remotely “fine dining” about it. My wife’s chicken dish was slightly better, maybe a 3/5, but still nothing worth recommending. The only redeeming qualities of this place are the view and ambience, which are great. Unfortunately, the food falls far below the standard of other restaurants in the area and is not worth the visit.

Our host recommended this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the food, excellent and attentive service and overall atmosphere. After all we were literally next to the sea! Stavros the manager and his staff went well beyond. We ate there again two days later as we were so happy with our first experience. This restaurant is a must if you’re visiting Zakynthos. And don’t leave without trying the modern take on baklava!

Very nice experience, with some small letdowns. The carpaccio and slow cooked beef were fantastic. The grilled calamari was cold and burnt here and there - surprising combination - and the mushroom risotto was tasty albeit way too salty. I drank over a liter of water. The Banoffee was not the best on the island, with the banana being of an unexpected consistency - baked and then cooled? - and the salty caramel being, once again, quite salty... The service was very formal, where I personally would have preferred it to be a bit more personal, kind and patient. Prices are a bit higher compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood, and value for money felt a tiny bit off for me. The seaside location is very idyllic.

Beautiful spot with a great atmosphere! The food was delicious and there was lots to choose from. Portions were a bit to big, but super tasty. The staff were so sweet and fun and when something went wrong, they handled it kindly and professionally. We’ll definitely be back!

The servers/serving staff/waiters was very kind and friendly! The food was not what we expected tho, especially with the price in mind. We ordered grilled fish (seabass and red snapper) and the salads that was served to the fishes did not taste well at all. The fish itself were good.

The best restaurant on the island. We went here several times and loved the food. They add some fresh twist to the Greek cuisine and it’s fabulous. The go to dish is the seafood carbonara, simply amazing with a bit of lemongrass and a super creamy sauce. Of course the seaview is also amazing. Five stars

The food was good, albeit the menu is quite limited, however the service not at par with what we have seen locally in the tavernas on other islands in less touristic places. The beach was very busy but the sea there was glorious.

We’ve had the chance to dine at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and Sapfo absolutely deserves to be in that league. This was easily the best seafood in Greece (and my husband travelled Greece for the last 20 years). The sashimi could rival top places in Japan and the octopus, carpaccio, and calamari were perfectly prepared - it was just delicious and full of flavor. Not to forget the beautiful presentation. Don’t miss the Taramas - first I was hesitant to chose it but we did take it after the recommendation of the waiter - and what should I say: it was exceptional. The service was outstanding and the staff were not only friendly, but truly knowledgeable and passionate about the food. Their recommendations were spot on and made the whole experience even more special. Yes, prices are higher than a typical taverna, but you’re paying for top-level quality, flavor, and experience! Absolutely worth it—we’ll definitely return!

Very fresh seafood, good flavours slightly overpriced but you pay what you get. Super happy also with the service, I dropped my fork and knife and the waiter immediately brought me a new pair. The only thing I would recommend is to make the seafood carbonara white, it would match with the name it can just name it sea fruit pasta 🍝 :)

The chef is master in sea food. I enjoyed it very much. Just above st.Nikitas beach you can taste something different from the traditional you can find anywhere else in Greece. High quality sea food with very polite and nice service.

SHAME ON YOU! First, I will tell you why this place does not deserve more than 1 star, and then about the food and service. On July 4th at 8 PM, I witnessed a man, sitting with his family (mother, father, fiancée, and fiancée’s mother) across from me at the table, forcefully punch a cat that was merely walking by the table, causing it to fall off the edge. The family was not from Greece and behaved arrogantly, deciding that they had the right to act this way because "they are investing money in Greece" (quote). Not only did the restaurant owner attack us with shouts and threats—we, the Greek residents who stood up for the poor defenseless animal—but he also apologized to these foreigners who disregarded our country’s laws and considered it acceptable to endanger our animals! The owner literally groveled before these foreigners, not charging them a penny for their “ruined evening.” We waited for the police, and the next day there was a trial where the man who hit the cat was fined and sentenced to jail. It turns out that the owner defended a criminal, portraying our country, Greece, as a pauper willing to sell our customs and honor for money! What a disgrace! And now, about the food. As a professional chef with the best Parisian education and experience in Michelin-starred restaurants, and the owner of an international culinary school with 40,000 students (this is for the owner to remember next time not to judge people by their tattoos and appearance), I can say that: - Tableware made in Germany immediately suggests that the restaurant is more “kitsch” than something with a meaningful concept. - If you set high prices, you MUST provide amuse-bouche (a small appetizer), water, and bread INCLUDED in the bill. - I ordered Coca-Cola and emphasized that I wanted both ice and lemon. In the end, I received just a glass and had to ask the waiters twice (in Greek) before getting first just ice and then both ice and lemon. Moreover, the Coca-Cola was served in a can, which is unacceptable for a restaurant claiming to be above a tavern level. - The Greek salad was not authentic. I ordered it specifically because the ingredient list included kritamo, but it turned out to be just a decoration. In other words, they failed to make anything interesting out of the salad, yet inflated the price. - My husband’s beef patties were rather dry and bland, with a meager amount of potatoes beside them, and the accompanying salad looked like it came from a diner. - My risotto was decent, but the shrimp were overcooked, dry, and tough. They kept the heads, which should have been used to make a bisque for a more intense sauce. The combination of shrimp whiskers with "chili threads" created an odd sensation of not knowing whether you were eating chili threads or whiskers. - The onion in the risotto was cut into large pieces, although in such cases, it should be diced using the "ciseler" technique so that the onion blends seamlessly with the rice. - By the way, chili threads were not mentioned in the risotto description, and they are quite spicy, which can be a problem for many diners. The Greek menu did not mention that kritamo was in the salad—these are things professionals notice. - The rosé wine was too intensely colored; truly good rosé has a very pale pink hue. The food analysis shows that the restaurant tries to cater to arrogant tourists, allowing them to mistreat local animals, while lacking depth and respect for its own country, citizens, honor, laws, and even ingredients. They use Gruyère cheese despite the vast variety of Greek cheeses that should be offered to tourists to showcase the richness of Greek gastronomy. I sincerely hope that the injured cat is alive and well.

Relaxing, laid back vibe with good service and high quality food. The marinated anchovies starter were delicious, would be nice to see them on a red pizza. The pizza was good, only 2!options though. You should go, it’s worth it.

Overall a fantastic experience! The view is breathtaking to watch the sunset and the restaurant being away from Vathy centre gives you some calmness and privacy, which make for a great and romantic atmosphere. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was full of flavour and hands down the best we have had in the island so far. Dishes like the simple beetroot salad were done in a way that were often the star of the show. The risotto and green pie were also memorable highlights. The only slightly negative thing I would remark is that the pricing at times was a bit off- while not all appetisers were overpriced - 17€ for a two shrimps appetiser (the dish itself was great) is a bit much- that really is pricing for a main dish that should be on its own filling. That being said all dishes were tasty and the overall experience was worth it.

The gorgeous sunset over Kefalonia dominates the food, service and attitude of the woman owner taking the reservation/cancellation of reservation on the phone.

The only place where thought-out concepts meet perfect execution in this hidden ionian gem! We were pleasantly surprised dish after dish. A restaurant for the hungry and the foodie alike:) dishes to remember: kritharoto with shrimps, octopus, salad with green beans and smoked fish. A twist in every dish! Not to mention the sunset view ..DO NOT miss it!!

Fantastic location, even better food (believe it or not..). We had the steak and the tsipoura for mains, both cooked to perfection and could easily feature on the menu of a great restaurant in London (or any other food Mecca). Highly recommended.

Our FAVOURITE taverna in Zakynthos (or even in the world!). My boyfriend and I had lunch/ dinner here on five out of our seven days on the island. We couldn’t stop coming back! The restaurant’s view is incredible, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and warm. The food is absolutely delicious- especially the Greek salad, snapper fish and homemade olive tapenade! The homemade walnut and chocolate cake was honestly the best we have ever tasted. The restaurant owners were so lovely. We even got to meet their kittens!! (See photos!). Best food I had in Zante. A family run, hidden gem, with framed longing gaze of Turtle Island in view. A 15-minute walk up from Keri Beach area. Along the restaurant, there is a beach path to some rocks below where we had the most exhilarating giddy dip in the water. “Q to Server: Where is the local wine from? … A: My father made it.” … came for an early dinner with a smaller group of friends, and returned for lunch as a duo, to run into the rest of the original friend group who also happily arrived to eat again.

Simply amazing! We visited for wine tasting and some nibbles on a hot afternoon and it was great to sit below the grapes and have some chilled white wine. The sommelier was really nice too and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend a visit though keep in mind that it’s aimed towards a mid to high end tourist crowd rather than locals.

Beautiful winery, we came for the premium wine tasting. 6 glasses of lovely wine accompanied by a delicious cheeseboard, nice chilled atmosphere and music playing over speakers. Staff were brilliant, very informative about the wines and attentive. Great value for money- would recommend!

The location is really nice, especially in the early evening. Prices are a bit above average, but the food is exceptional. The gift from the kitchen was impressive, and the dip with the starter was amazing. The main course was just as good, especially the dish of the day. The meat quality is excellent. We've never had such good spare ribs—the meat fell off the bone. Highly recommended! The service is friendly, quick, and gives great advice. I don't usually like many wines, but the waiter picked a fantastic one for me here.

We can definitely recommend Grampsas Winery for a wine tasting in a calm and unique atmosphere under the grapevines 🍇 We tasted five of their wines, we especially liked the Gran Rosé, Verdea and Verdea Traditionelle. The service by Sofia was perfect, she explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. Thank You so much for this experience, we had a great time🤍

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst wine tasting of my life. The location was beautiful and the waiters were very friendly, but three wines were served at the same time and unfortunately only two minutes were spent talking about them. After about 30 minutes, the next three wines were served at the same time. In addition, there are two dogs running around, which unfortunately have fleas. Dog owners who bring their own dogs should be aware!

TLDR: Great potential but you won't be impressed if you've eaten proper Greek seafood extensively, Greek salad average, seafood platter average, grilled fish is nice. I was looking for a nice place to have seafood, looked through many restaurant reviews online and it seems that a lot of the highly rated restaurants in the area are serving burgers, pizzas etc which tells you everything you need to know. This restaurant seemed different, had a very nice menu and many great reviews. The guy outside seems very friendly but it's not my style but I understand it. I normally go to restaurants to eat nice food not to make friends with the staff. But everyone was very courteous and hard working. We go in, order house wine and the seafood platter, the guy at the front takes our order offers a Greek Salad and Garlic Bread (!!!!, first time I was ever offered this in a Greek restaurant) He asks in such a way that it sounds like these are sides included in the main dish, in fact these are separate starters. Tricks of the trade that are extremely annoying. Would never have ordered garlic bread. Greek salad extremely average, very small bit of feta. Can't comment on the garlic bread as it's just such a ridiculous thing, but I understand that they probably are just trying to cater to tourists which is fine. Waitress was very nice. House white wine was also nice and fairly priced. Seafood platter didn't contain Octopus as it said on the menu. Wasn't told when ordered. Then when asked they tried to make an excuse and say "oh we ran out" but honestly you can find Octopus in so many supermarkets all over Greece. It's also such a key part of the dish. They offered us some extra wine on the house, which shows good customer service and is appreciated, but I'd rather have eaten some grilled octopus (which is what I was looking for!) Calamari is clearly straight from a frozen packet, again, not what you want when you're paying 50 euros for a dish. Grilled sea bream was genuinely very nice, perfect fish on the charcoal grill. Sardines were also nice. They can clearly cook fish well but are missing out on details, it's better to just get the basics right. But again, Greek cuisine is incredible and it is not difficult to find amazing seafood for less money in other islands and in the mainland, maybe it's just hard to get proper Greek food in this area of Zante when the tourist seem to just want burgers pizza and sometimes a souvlaki or gyros if they're being adventurous. Again, nothing terrible but if you have a slightly more discerning palate and are just looking for a decent place to have great seafood this might not be it. Overall, ok food, nice service, nice atmosphere. Not the experience I was looking for but it may be satisfactory to many. And all of the staff were friendly and genuinely trying hard - which is always appreciated.

What a super gem to find! Just had the best Kleftico and Moussaka ever, and the Tzatziki was 10/10 too. Now I get why so many folk rate this place 5 stars, it’s worth every bit! 5 nights left in Zakynthos, I’m gonna be here every night until I have to go!!

Perfekt food, We had a very well cooked and well spiced fish with oven potatoes with an excellent sauce. Very friendly service, we felt as friends with very nice conversations.

The owners were very friendly and nice. I think I have the best mousaka here. My bf had beef stew and it was also so good. The meat was so tender and mousaka was so creamy and simply delicious. Also portions were big! They gave us starter and dessert for free which was very nice. Overall I really recommended this restaurant.

Lovely relaxing setting, with tasty food & very welcoming staff. Bruschetta, drinks & fruit on the house & the cheapest meal of our stay. Set up from the street level many people pass it by but you won’t be disappointed if you pay Memories a visit.

When we saw the prices we were worried this would be a tourist trap but the food was the best we had all holiday and the service excellent. Lovely ambience sitting out front - we didn’t feel the need to go to the rooftop. The food was truly innovative and a delicious twist on some classic Corfiot dishes. Service was friendly and highly professional and the whole meal was excellent value for money and a really pleasurable last night of our holiday.

Definitely a great location in Old Town with view of Liston, only if you reserved for dinner to watch sunset and night fall. Price is on the higher end, but thats expected due to its ambience and location. I hope they add a bit of lighting once it becomes dark so you can see what you’re eating. 👀 Ther servers were fantastic and lovely! Worth to try if you want to watch beautiful sunset wholst having a meal.

The restaurant has a unique view. The ceviche and salad were very good, but the fish of the day and stuffed peppers were uninspired.

I had a great experience at Arcardion Bistrot in Corfu Old Town. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Everything we ordered tasted excellent. The overall quality, combined with very reasonable prices, makes this place an outstanding option in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors and great value in a relaxed atmosphere.

The view was stunning, the food was delicious and the service excellent. We booked a table on the rooftop, we had a really nice time and our waitress made it even better (unfortunately I don’t know her name) but she was professional. She helped us with the wines, explained all the main courses and recommended us the Moussaka which was delicious as well as the Cut of the day. Even if the prices are a little higher then other places, it’s definitely worth it. We truly recommend this place! 10/10

Decent McDonald’s Franchise location. Gets a bit hectic late at night with all the partygoers but that kinda adds to the fun. Food was decent overall as it’s still fast food so nothing to rant and rave about.

Very limited menu choices. I know it’s only a small McDonalds but still. No self service kiosk so had to queue up all in one line. It was evening in August, so very busy and food took ages. Food itself was ok, chips salted which I’ve missed. Cost about €35 for two meals, 2 cheese burgers and an apple juice.

One of the worser McDonalds I had the chance to visit. Cheeseburger wasn’t fresh but the taste was normal, however Big Mac taste was different than anywhere else. Place looks very unusual aesthetically to the ones I’m used to in a unpleasant way. Prices are way inflated than usual. Food is prepared beforehand and not on demand which is usually the recent normal (3-4 years) in Europe.

This grill house serves a delicious gyro that’s definitely worth trying, full of flavor and nicely seasoned. However, the chicken souvlaki was quite dry and lacked juiciness, which was disappointing. Prices are generally reasonable, though there's still some room for improvement. Overall, an average experience with potential if a few details are refined.

All in All not bad but there is a better place across the street food was OK not great. Service was poor. Being honest they even forgot to put some drinks on the bill. Typical in town tourist trap I'm not saying keep away, just look around a little more.

Very poor. Meat was not well cooked even if we asked for extra time of cooking it came served red...no-one apologised for this. The rest of the food was not satisfying. Worst was that even when we complained no-one seemed to care or to share o word of understanding. Just stared at us without saying a word. We will not visit it again.

I wish I could give it at least 3.5 stars. I attempted to make reservations at the sister restaurant a week or two before our trip but it was booked. The site suggested Ora instead. I didn’t make a reservation but we mistakenly passed the restaurant at the end of a tour and took a chance since the views are so stunning. The restaurant was opening in about 30 minutes. The staff was extremely accommodating about serving us without a reservation. We waited and all was wonderful but the taste of the food just fell flat for us. It wasn’t as flavorful as expected and some dishes not at all. We were disappointed considering the prices. We didn’t waste our food though. So if you want beautiful views and a relaxing evening for dinner with no emphasis on the taste of your food then I would suggest it. The staff and all else was nice.

What a perfect location, day or night - simply stunning! We enjoyed a group dinner with a set menu. (The staff were a little confused, but recoverdd well). The staff had genuine smiles and great service. We were seated and then the food ca.e. beautiful fresh salad with tomato's and cucumbers, cheese with avocado and bread, tomato and a fish row dip with fresh bread. All amazing, full of flavour. Our mains were pulled roasted lamb, baked chicken in a think sauce, and sea bass crispy skin fish. While the fish and lamb looked a little plain, the taste and balance was perfect, tender and fresh. Our dessert was cheesecake and orange cake. My cheesecake wasn't presented well but tasted fantastic. The orange cake was rich in orange and texture. Book ahead and enjoy.

Stunning location and excellent service, but the food falls short of the price point. The service was attentive and professional throughout. However, while the menu is presented as upscale, the quality of the food does not justify the high prices. Portions, and flavor were average at best for the cost.

Very nice view and very kind staff, all of them. Service is excellent! But indeed, food isn’t great. Our octopus was worse than average (basically dry and too salty to enjoy). Pasta was okay but sauce needs to be more full filled, nothing special at all. I hope you work on the menu and taste because the place is beautiful.

Booked in advance for a birthday celebration. Specifically asked for a nice view table as this was why we chose this restaurant to celebrate Really rude and abrupt blonde front of house didn't bother to contact us if there was an issue. Turned up 10 mins early to be respectful to the restaurant. No respectful returned. Rude woman told us the good tables were all booked. Asked several times (as there were several good tables empty through the our whole meal) Our reservation was for 1.5 hours. Really horrible service and no interest in customers. The staff took away plates before we could put our cutlery down. Just rude. Meal was slightly recovered as they had a wine I find hard to get. We had to ask the waiter to slow the pace as it was so rushed. They overcooked what should have been rare chateaubriand. Loads of bugs all over the tables. Neon white lights to attract more. Would not recommend it as the quality and service is far better in other restaurants and half the price You are paying double for the view which they don't seem to want to provide anyway. Really disappointing way to spend my birthday.

Overpriced! We had lobster! Not tasty. I mean I came to eat not to ‘show off’ by having the waitress serving the plate like doing a ritual sacrifice! Get real! Just landed after a long, exhausting flight and absolutely famished, I desperately needed some good food. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a place that far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an incredibly friendly owner. His warm and attentive service made the entire visit exceptionally pleasant. I ordered two pizzas, and I must say, these were the best pizzas I've had in ages. The flavor was unparalleled and the portions were gigantic – exactly what I needed after such a long journey. The combination of the delicious food and outstanding service made this an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a spot with fantastic food and a personal, friendly touch, you definitely need to stop by here. It felt like a warm welcome and a delightful treat after a long trip. If you want to wait 50 minutes for a brick of s pizza, which is impossible to eat, this is the place for you! To be honest it was one of the worst meals I’ve had. Only plus was a decently friendly waitor.

We discovered this place on Google Maps and it has exceeded our expectations. This extraordinary traditional tavern offers an array of authentic Greek dishes meant for sharing. The ambiance is absolutely remarkable, with its proximity to nature creating a captivating atmosphere. The food's unbeatable quality shines through, as everything is freshly made and homemade. Additionally, they offer their own homemade wines. If you're fortunate, you might even encounter some locals playing traditional music, adding to the overall charm. It's everything we could ask for and without a doubt, the finest local tavern in Zakynthos.

Amazing taverna that covers all bases. Home cooked mouth watering food from morning until night, free use of the sunbeds in a great swimming spot. Aristos is set in its own right by the sea in a non touristy spot. Great menu and superb value for money. This is our new go to place after Boukari changed drastically.

After eating here for the first time 3 years ago, taken here by our friends, Livia and Adi, we return here every fall and not just on one day, but several. We never miss exploring the entire menu each year. Amalia is a great cook and Nikos, the most cheerful and friendly host. I tell you, the easiest thing to do is to close your eyes and pick something at random from each tab. Everything is fresh. We will definitely come back in the years to come, because we decided not to miss any end of summer without a trip to Corfu. All our friends love Amelia's food. And the taverna, nestled in the small bay next to Kaliviotis beach, is secluded and right on the seafront where you can enjoy the shade and cool breeze on hot days and a protective roof on magical rainy days. This restaurant is absolutely excellent and amazing in every way. The views right beside the sea are stunning, with a lovely shaded area that makes dining so comfortable. But what truly stands out is the food—it’s spectacular, fresh, and homemade, prepared with great care by a wonderful family who run this charming family business. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, offering excellent quality at a very fair price. It’s impressive how they have maintained such a high standard year after year. We visited today and once again, the experience was flawless. We always come back every summer and will definitely keep doing so. Well done to the whole family for keeping this gem alive and thriving!

Great welcome from Nikolas for a light evening meal. Help from the dinghy and kind service. Very sheltered shallow spot offshore on a southerly storm. Beware harbour vv shallow even for dinghy beyond fishing boats. Original Greek family restaurant with pleasant Greek folk music rather than the ubiquitous Zorba. Recommend for an old fashioned Greek experience.

Tui Greek night at Popolaros, the entertainment was very enjoyable, the food and service was not. The waiter comes and shakes your hand, then flips you the middle finger🤷‍♂️ very slow service. 2 serving a 100+ people. I asked if it was possible to order my daughter a different meal ? She was struggling with what was offered (not their fault to be fair) but a flat no, there will be chicken and rice, end of conversation. My daughter loved the dancing, then they brought out some watermelon. She ate one bite. It was almost luke warm…!!

We went here for a Jet2 zykanthos themed Greek night... Missold as it was supposed to be in an outdoor venue further in land but wasn't told this at any point that it was now in this indoor venue... One of the hosts George then announces to us that we are about to have one of the "best evenings of our lives!!!" High hopes ... Absolutely dreadful night, you sit cramped in on a table with people you don't know (the pictures show sitting on individual tables on an outdoor veranda) you share a measley bowl of salad and a bread roll... The traditional Greek dinner was a chicken leg with rice and potatoes! As for the dancing well after 2 hours 90% of the people were just waiting to get picked up from the coaches. Apologies to the venue if this is not your usual business but the jet2 themed night was awful and I'd recommend anyone reading this in advance to cancel and go to another Greek night at a restaurant (there are loads!) And eat what you want and save the money.

Free wine equated to 1 bottle between 4 people. Further bottles were $14 a bottle, far more than every other restaurant we've been too. Biggest disappointment was no plates smashing.

Came here for a Greek night as a package deal with Jet2. Absolutely the worst night I've ever had in Greece. The place is a sterile mock taverna, the food is rank average - I had a hair in the rice they served up with the chicken main course - the food was swimming with oil. The Greek music, though professional, was too loud and never-ending, it was obtrusive and became tedious very quickly. Overall, a ghastly night. We got a taxi and left an hour early and was happy to pay the money to get away! Avoid.

We visited Popolaros as an organised trip by our tour operator. I've been to many Greek Nights over the years and I have to say that this is one of the best. The food is delicious and the entertainment first class. A wonderful evning, should you wish to eat authentic Greek food, listen to live Greek music and join in the festivities.

Amazing experience here. One guy we didn’t catch his name but he was super jolly, very welcoming and always smiling. We felt so welcome here and service was exceptional. Definitely give this place a go. The food was very tasty and came out pretty quickly as well. Couldn’t fault it in any way.

Superb! This is possibly the best restaurant in the area. George and the team - which includes his dad, who is the chef, and his sister, who makes the desserts - create all the elements for a great experience by combining fantastic food at reasonable prices with attentive but not intrusive service and a lovely vibe. Everything is beautifully presented and George and his team make you feel they are there just for you - no sitting around on phones or disappearing once you've been served. There are some traditional Zakynthian dishes on the menu as well as more familiar offerings and do try the house red - it was one of the best wines we had during our recent stay. Thanks, George, for some lovely memories. And maybe we won't wait another 18 years to come and see you!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was exquisite along with the carafe of house red wine. Starters were shared, we had Zucchini croquettes, bread roll with olive butter and tzatziki, and mushrooms ala Creme The main course was Kokonisto (beef with Zakynthos roast potatoes. Service was excellent, Giorgos and the team can't do enough for you. Well, worth a visit

Very pleasant environment with nice, welcoming people very happy to serve us. The food is absolutely delicious with many choices that also include local dishes prepared by a multiple times awarded (for his specialty on local dishes) chef. I totally recomend it!
