Pub
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Blackpool, The Shovels is a delightful pub that welcomes furry friends with open arms. With designated areas for dogs, your four-legged companion can relax while enjoying complimentary water and treats. Meanwhile, you can indulge in a mouthwatering meal from their BBQ-inspired menu, which features an array of burgers, steaks, and fish dishes. For those with hearty appetites, there are even food challenges to tackle!
My family and friends had the most amazing day here for Christmas in the Shovels. All the staff were polite, professional and bent over backwards to make our day one to remember. Food was 10/10 and we were stuffed by the end. The cute little elf Steve looked after us from booking to leaving and everything in between. Thank you, Karen and team for a wonderful day!

We visited the Shovels it was quiz night. Good quiz master. Food was excellent. I had the gammon. My fellow diners had the fish and chips that they said was excellent. Staff friendly, helpful and charming. Have already booked to return tomorrow evening for curry night
Susan H — Google review
Love this place food always good. On saying that o thought I would have a roast dinner today and was really disappointed. The gravy boat took up a third of the plate. Instead of three pieces of meat like it shows there was two small very thin pieces of beef ( very soft and chewy) Small roast potatoes and veg (veg was nice) and a Yorkshire pudding. I would say it was pensioner size (who can't eat a lot). I would suggest that the menu change to include a large roast or small roast. I would have been happy to pay a bit extra so I did not leave feeling hungry. The food is always hot and served well. Staff are lovely and helpful. I have been here a number of times and always left feeling full as portions are always very good. This is why I was surprised today. I have given 4 star for the size of the Sunday roast not the quality. As always the quality of food is good and I would always recommend friends to dine at Shovells.
Yvonne R — Google review
Went for a meal and drinks last night. Received the usual warm greeting. I had the mixed grill and my friend had the gammon platter. All of the meat was succulent. Both meals were delicious. All of the staff were really pleasant. Great teamwork was very obvious. I highly recommend it. Great value for money
Anne S — Google review
Firstly it was great to go into a pub in the evening (not a Fri/Sat) and see it busy and buzzing. The reason was soon to become clear. Yes it was pub food- but it shames it's competitors when a place like this shows that it is perfectly possible to serve up the meals with attention to detail. I bravely went for the mixed grill - I have become so wary of this meal which so many pubs mess up with overcooked meat. From the first bite of chicken breast it was clear that this pub got it right, the meat was juicy and flavoursome. It was the same with all the other components not a dried out piece of meat amongst them. We stayed and had a go at the quiz-this did not go so well but that was down to our shortcomings and not the pubs. If I have one small moan it was the beer prices which were expensive for Blackpool.
Mark R — Google review
Just been this afternoon for my birthday meal. I ordered the beef rib. The amount of fat on it far outweighed the meat content. The waitress cleared our plates and I explained very nicely that the beef was absolutely dreadful. She apologized and then nothing happened. Chef didn't come over to offer an apology. We won't be going back. Shame really as it's our new local pub. Staff, service and atmosphere were great. However, the food 1*. Bitterly disappointed.. £14.99 for a massive amount of fat..

Had a lovely meal tonight, I had Chicken Strips, Tikka Sauce, Chips and Coleslaw, my Partner had the XL Mixed Grill, then we both had a Ice Cream Sundae. Absolutely delicious 😋😋

Visited the place earlier today with my family and my dog. Ordering was a breeze through the app on the table and they were very nice to my dog. The food was great too. Definitely worth visiting again!

Pub
Nestled in the heart of the countryside, Haighton Manor is a stunning 17th-century manor house that has been beautifully restored to serve as a charming country pub. This isn't just any ordinary pub; it offers an exquisite menu featuring classic British dishes alongside delightful vegetarian and vegan options that change regularly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with roaring fires and spacious dining areas, including a lovely conservatory perfect for enjoying meals year-round.
Visited here for the first time today for a birthday lunch. A beautiful place. Very busy too for a week day. We booked in advance and pleased that we had. On arrival, we were welcomed by friendly bar staff and shown straight to our table, offered a variety of menu's and drinks order was taken. Table service was efficient by tentative staff. We didn't wait long for our food to be served. Freshly made, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty, I could not fault my dish. Desserts were equally delicious and when ordering a smaller portion, this was accompanied with a hot drink of our choice. The pub itself has a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. The decor is traditional with open log fire burning in the center. Dogs are welcome and there is also accommodation for overnight stays. Outside is a large car parking facility with tended gardens and despite being in the open countryside, Haighton Manor is within a short driving distance to Preston city centre and motorway networks M6/M55. I would most certainly recommend this pub & although meals were perhaps a little on the pricey side, the food was worth every penny.

What can we say, We’ve visited this afternoon after previously visiting around 18 months ago which we left slightly disappointed. Not This time ! We were seated promptly, given menus and drinks ordered. The staff were incredibly attentive, we ordered starters and mains. The Food was simply DIVINE. Starters were so tasty we could have had even more! The mains arrived with a nice break between, we all had Sunday beef roasts which were all beautifully plated and so delicious! Did we need dessert absolutely not did we order them YES we did! Thank you to all the staff you’ve won us back which will now probably be every weekend! The wine the ambiance and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for a family of 3. Can’t wait to return .

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit over new year so we returned for a January birthday for a Sunday roast. Both times the staff have been really accommodating, the GF options are exceptional and the food is delicious. Really lovely atmosphere- we will return again. Can’t wait for the summer months to enjoy the gardens.

We booked for a family celebration and the food was excellent. We had 3 x gluten free diners and the gf selection was excellent including the fish and chips and pies. Gluten free pastry is generally a nightmare but Haighton Manor have nailed it!

Excellent dinner, peaceful and quiet space for a meal. Great that there is no background music to distract or mean shouting over the table. Steak pie and chocolate brownies highly recommended.

Mi Casa Su Casa is a charming Spanish restaurant located in Bispham, just a short distance from Blackpool. The menu offers a delightful selection of reasonably priced tapas made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The attentive staff provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel like part of the family. What a lovely little restaurant :) great food, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Very impressed with our visit. Food is cooked fresh near enough in front of you. The smells and spices certainly make you hungry! Thank you for a lovely dining experience :)

First time I've been to this place. And first time in a proper Spanish restaurant. The food was amazing, well cooked, and presented. My wife and I dined here for our 1st wedding anniversary, and we both went away thoroughly satisfied and full. The staff were very helpful, professional, and courteous. Loved the atmosphere as well, and was a very clean and fresh look. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful food served by very friendly staff, in a lovely restaurant. Would recommend the lunch time special, as it's great value and the quality of food is fantastic. Next time we are in the area, then we will certainly be going for an evening meal here.

Nice place in Blackpool for Spanish tapas. There is a good variety on the menu, though some of the dishes are a little pricey. The service is very good here and we're always visiting!
Krista P — Google review
Brilliant Spanish food and outstanding service. Stop the fish and chips, burgers and hotdogs of Blackpool front, get in a taxi and up to bispham. All the hot meat dishes are fabulous, the authentic iberico ham carved fresh of the leg is really high quality. Johnny (Cash) is an outstanding server/waiter/host, get yourselves here... Oh and have a bottle or two of the Faustino red wine 😉

A really friendly place for a meal / drink the staff do a great job & pleasant I had sausage mash gravy peas was excellent & the Sunday roast is very very tasty it's definitely worth a visit to the quieter side of BLACKPOOL, just a stones throw away from the prom. We will definitely visit again for sure. & These prices are very reasonable. Thank you, the GIN

The food was really delicious, but we were waiting for an hour to get our food. The staff were really friendly! The BBQ chicken and the ribs were really great, great flavour!

I been wanting to visit The Gynn for years it's such a prominent pub. Having read all the excellent reviews on food, finally this week we got here. The pub was fine, the was food great! A really enjoyable meal, well cooked and well presented. Good value. Nice atmosphere with attentive staff, friendly locals. Recommended.

£48 for four light bite options with chips. Two oreo milkshakes, a lemonade and a carling. Food was really nice, especially the chips! Staff were friendly. Plenty of seating options available. Will be returning next time we're in Blackpool.
Hayleigh R — Google review
Just... Really not good. On my first visit I had the fish and chips. Batter was flavorless, the fish was rubbery and flavorless. Tasted frozen. I went back to give it another chance and I got the cheesy chips, sample platter, and a burger. The cheese on the chips was mostly un melted so I could barely eat it. The chicken wings had no flavor at all and were dry. The garlic bread had zero garlic taste, just slightly buttered. The burger tasted bland and the cheese was rubbery and tasteless. The fried stuff was about as good as frozen fried stuff. It was all so bland I wondered if maybe they have an older customer base and they specifically under-salt their food for their health? No idea. But it reminded me of an episode of kitchen nightmares with Gordon Ramsey. I've been eating all over the world and these were my least-favorite meals I've ever had.
Vanja D — Google review
Excellent place to stop off at while walking 🚶‍♂️ the prom. Good selection of drinks 🍸 even bigger selection on the food menu also has special selection for the day. Huge seating indoors and out and very well staffed.
Vincent W — Google review
My partner and I visited The Gynn pub on a last-minute decision, and we were so glad we did. It’s a really nice and welcoming pub — quiet and relaxing for a Saturday evening, even with the firework display going on. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. Overall, it was just a lovely experience, and we’d be happy to return.”
Rose M — Google review
Visited with a large number of work colleagues at the last minute. Staff exceptionally obliging, polite and helpful, food was very well priced, came out very well presented and timely, given the time that we arrived. We eat out as a family regularly when we are at home in Bristol (9 of us) and if we received the type of service and quality at home that we received at The Gynn, we would be eating out a lot more regularly. 100% thank you to all of the staff and hopefully, we will return next year.

If you're on the hunt for a culinary adventure in Blackpool, look no further than Twisted Indian Street Food. This award-winning gem, located near North Pier on Clifton Street, has earned accolades like the prestigious Street Food Restaurant of the Year at the English Curry Awards 2022.
We were in Blackpool for one night and found this restaurant through Google. What a find!!!!! It said reservations were required but we turned up hopefully. No problem, and we got a table for the two of us. The food was absolutely superb. I had a jhalfrezi which was one of the best I have ever had. My wife had the butter chicken which again was fabulous. I had a pint of Cobra which was perfect and my wife had a red wine, which was, again, very, very good. If we lived in the area, rather than some 300 miles north this restaurant would definitely be a regular haunt of ours. We can recommend Twisted Indian without hesitation. Absolutely fantastic!!!!
David R — Google review
Amazing Indian food cooked on order. Genuinely the nicest Indian meal I've had in a long time. You can taste all the fresh ingredients and the effort put into each dish. Lamb chop were fantastic and Chicken was cooked to perfection unlike other restaurants that just reheat or cook in bulk. We had 4 different main curries and they were all delicious. My new favourite Indian restaurant in the county.
A D — Google review
Went here for evening meal before going to the theatre - the service was great (although we were the only ones in) Our waitress was kind, friendly and helpful but also gave us space. We only had 2 main meals - Biryani and Karahi with rice 1 coke and 2 lemonades - Came to £54 so for 1 curry and a drink costing £27 seemed a little excessive. The food was amazing though. Just not really worth that price. Don't think I would go back which is a shame. I am also aware that we were in a restaurant and not having takeaway.
Anne L — Google review
Absolutely delicious food! All freshly made when you order and the quality was perfect! The guy who served us was really kind and helpful, he happy advised us on portion sizes and recommendations and knowledge on some of the items we didn't know! They had some issues with card payments and could only take cash which they told us before we seated and were happy for us to order then go draw money to pay for the bill once we knew how much we would need. Would highly recommend, the atmosphere and staff made the meal that much more enjoyable! Ordered the cauliflower pakoras, hands down the best thing I've ever had and a chicken masala
Beth S — Google review
Taking into consideration the recommendation and the prices of the food I was expecting a high dining experience. What you expect and what I actually received were mile apart. Yes we were in a party of 30, however if a restaurant takes the booking then you’d expect to receive service where your food is delivered all in one for individual meals. Chips delivered to the table and then had to wait for my curry for another 15 minutes, Chapatti never arrived. 3 other family members had their meal whilst I sent mine back. Worst curry meal I’ve ever had, this is not a place to visit. I can’t comment of the taste of the food as I didn’t have it.
Gareth A — Google review
We had a decent experience overall, but a few things held it back from being great. The starter was excellent and set a high expectation, but the mains didn’t quite match up—my chicken was a little on the dry side. For the price point, we expected a bit more in terms of quality. Service throughout was very good, and we had no issue paying the full service charge. However, there was an uncomfortable moment when a conversation—possibly between the owner or a manager and a younger staff member—took place within earshot of customers. These kinds of discussions are best kept behind the scenes. All in all, it’s a 4-star experience from us, but with a few small improvements, it could easily be a 5.
Thistimenextyr1 — Google review
I came here with my boyfriend for a meal to celebrate his birthday. had a lovely welcoming off Yasmin service was amazing. Yasmin and Emily talked us through the menu where we decided to have a chicken vindaloo and creamy chicken curry. Hands down the best Indian i have ever been to, well worth the money and the food was out of the this world. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting something special and a memorable experience.

First time visiting last week and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely outstanding. The portions were large and they kindly put the remaining food in takeaway tubs for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. A definite new favourite place to eat. Thanks again

Twelve Restaurant and Lounge Bar is a modern dining spot located near Blackpool, opposite Europe's tallest working windmill. It offers an escape from the town center's hustle and bustle, providing an idyllic dining experience under the sails of one of Europe's oldest working windmills. The restaurant features innovative local cuisine inspired by regional produce and culture, with a menu that changes regularly to incorporate the freshest ingredients.
we had our tasting menu for our wedding recently and everything was impeccable. From the range of food provided, to the quality of food and the service we had, everything was perfect. We struggled to decide on an actual wedding menu as the choice was so great. I particularly like how flexible they were with catering to specific needs or allowing you to swap parts of different menus which so many other venues and caterers will not accomodate. Aaron served us; he was polite, friendly and so knowledgeable about all the dishes and gave us some great honest recommendations. we honestly couldn’t recommend the restaurant enough, especially if you want them to cater to your wedding. We haven’t even got married yet but already know we’ll be back here soon!!

Had high expectations about this place. Came on a quiet night so didn't have the lively buzz about it. Was surprised to be plonked next to the fire exit despite it being so empty. (Perhaps that's down to my ugly mug). Tried a set menu so much in way of choice. I did enjoy good quality food with nice modest portion sizes. Customer service was the best bit. The waitress smelled really nice. Not in a weird way, we did tell her and she agreed that she did.

Had the most amazing food at this restaurant last night, the staff were very friendly and really helpful and it had a great atmosphere. The scallops that I had were the best I have had and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back

Twelve did the catering for our Wedding at Browsholme Hall. The food was incredible, we went for the BBQ menu served as sharing platters. All of our guests were talking about the food after with many saying it was the best food they had had at a wedding. All of the many dietary requirements were catered for easily. The staff on the wedding day were amazing, everyone was happy, friendly and professional. The food was served seamlessly. We can't wait to return to the restaurant in the future.

Visited Twelve not for the first time on Thursday for my Dads 70th. The restaurant is located on Fleetwood Rd Thornton, just best to the Oldest working Windmill in Europe. Very slick and modern inside. A lovely seating area on right as you enter with plenty of natural light. Awards clearly placed on the walls as you enter, shows to me how proud they are of the restaurant. I had pork pie to start which was first class. Mains I had the beef, not completely my favourite but it was ok. Staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Twelve is on the more expensive side of other restaurants but still very much worth a visit.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We all opted for the Topside Beef. Gravy was rich and flavourful. Almost as good as how my friend Dave makes it. The cauliflower and roast potatoes were yum and just the right portion. For a Michelin listed restaurant the portions were generous.

Ordered it as takeaway. We've been many times but this Is the first time in a couple of months. Food is usually amazing. Was absolutely dreadful tonight and we were not amused considering the price. We got the mews combination starter. Meat extremely dry and everything was like it had been oven cooked from Iceland Both had mews special rice with duck and it was just tasteless. Wish we'd have gone elsewhere . Portion sizes left much to be desired.
Deanna T — Google review
Our starter came early, but waited 1 1/4 hrs for main course, but noticed couple that arrived after us were served about 15-20 minutes earlier. Next time we won’t be so quick to order 2nd drinks, as we won’t be waiting!! It’s not our fault the staff can’t cope.
Linda P — Google review
Lovely welcome. Sadly it went all downhill from here. Ordered drinks, starters & mains all at the same time. Drinks took a little while to come. Starters were a 20/25 minute wait. Main courses were 45/50 after starters and they got one of our 2 mains wrong. They quickly rustled up the correct main by which time the other was stone cold and the one they had rustled up quickly was bland & flavourless. No apology, no recompense in fact they went out of their way to avoid us. To add insult to injury we were left waiting an age to pay the bill. We should have just walked out. Avoid at all costs.

Not sure what's happened with this place. I've been coming here since it opened 25+ years ago and the food was not the quality it once was. Crispy fish, if you served that in Thailand you'd get laughed at.

Review for Indian Orchid Restaurant North Finchley: I am deeply disappointed and appalled by the experience I had with this restaurant. I ordered a pure vegetarian dish for takeaway, and upon reaching home and starting my meal, I found pieces of chicken in it. This is not just a mistake—it’s outright negligence, especially for someone like me who has been a lifelong vegetarian and has never consumed meat or eggs. When I called the owner, Ajay, to report this issue, his response was shockingly casual. He mentioned that his cook had already left for the day (at 5:30 pm, no less!) and said he would check the CCTV cameras the following day. He asked me to take pictures of the dish and send them to him for “investigation,” which I did promptly. Despite following up with him three days later, Ajay never got back to me. It has now been over nine days, and there has been no response, no apology, and no resolution to this gross error. This level of indifference is unacceptable and downright shameful. It clearly shows that the owner does not care about his customers or their values. For someone who adheres strictly to a vegetarian lifestyle, this incident was nothing short of traumatic. It is appalling to see such a lack of accountability for such a serious mistake. Ajay and his team clearly have no regard for their customers’ dietary restrictions, beliefs, or preferences. To anyone who values their dietary preferences being respected, stay away from this place. This restaurant is a glaring example of negligence, incompetence, and a complete lack of customer care. I sincerely hope this review makes them rethink their approach and compels them to take their responsibilities seriously. Such a shame for careless attitude and for failing to respond to such a significant mistake.

Absolutely shocking service, if you want an attitude when they forget the other half of your order on delivery then come here! The manager is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to, the lack of responsibility and professionalism is beyond me. When contacted to tell them half the food is missing and they have then said they would send it out 40 mins has gone by and no food. I’ve then contacted then to say I wanted a refund but was shouted at by the manager, luckily I recorded his phone call and will be sending it to the owner. If I had the option of 0 stars i would. Food tasted shocking anyway. Go to zest of India instead, also a little reply to your reply, I think you’ll be abit shocked in the next few days mate, showing even more now the lack of respect for customers. How this business is still open I do not know but I’ll be telling every person I know to stay away. Also the replacement meal was agreed upon but not to take for over 40 minutes, that’s taking the absolute mik. I think a refund wasn’t a bad request for the way you speak to people and how bad this restaurants service is 🤣 Also take a look at your other reviews. I think it’s fair to say this place isn’t worth anyone’s time or money, and that they are clearly the common denominator. Also the refund wasn’t requested untill after it took nearly over a hour to correct my order so I think we really know who is lying, like I said guys don’t waste your money on this shop, had better curry’s out of a microwave.

Probably the best Indian I’ve ever had, the appetisers were very nice, and at a cheap price, the main I chose was the Lamb Bhuna which was very tasty, and the Lamb was absolutely devine; and melt in your mouth soft! On top of the amazing food, and the fairly cheap pricing; the staff were very polite and professional with great manners! Shame we don’t have an Indian like this where I am from, otherwise I’d eat here every day! If you live in the area and haven’t tried this place, or just visiting the area on holiday like myself, I’d definitely recommend eating here! =)

Shocking food, shocking customer service from the manager. Do not know how he has a job is the least professional manager I have ever spoken with. To respond to your reply, no I am not living in fairyland but it seems you’re living in cuckoo land. My order was £40 and the prawn curry was my partners meal. Of course I will accept the replacement when it’s not arrived and I have payed for it😂 the refund request was after you had taken 40 minutes to deliver the correct food and all our other food was cold. I would have much rather had the refund then your awful replacement microwave meal. The way you speak to some of your customers is diabolical Mabye instead of spending all your time responding rudely to reviews focus on actually getting orders correct and Mabye take a course in customer service :)

Been before and it was great. Sadly, this time, not so great. We got 3 portions mixed kebabs, there were only 2 sheek kebabs in, we tried the Sheek cheese kebabs, won't have them again, bland. Curries were packed with meat, the chicken zal fry is a cheeky hot number, but very nice, Sons Fish Curry was average he said, and wife said she'd had better. Sadly, it will be a while before we go again, and we were considering going on Christmas Day.

Has to be one of the best Indian restaurants I've been too. Food was beautiful, the lamb just melts in your mouth

It is clean, the staff are friendly & attentive. The food was nice. My only complaint would be the menu's. You are given the same menu that everyone else has handled, which means another trip to the toilet to wash your hands. There was soap & hand sanitiser in the toilet.

Nestled in the charming village of Hambleton, The Shovels Inn is a delightful pub that promises a memorable dining experience. Known for its freshly prepared British cuisine, this establishment offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying an evening meal with friends or family. Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure your visit is enjoyable.
Visited earlier this evening and had a really enjoyable meal. I had the absolutely wonderful “Sausage Sizzler” - it was something else. Perfectly cooked, piping hot and so good. We all commented on how amazing the food was - great. The staff were lovely and there was such a nice atmosphere. A terrific evening all round. I would highly recommend The Shovels - I’ll certainly be back there in the very near future. Thank you 👍🏻

Had a fantastic visit to this pub! The food was absolutely amazing – great quality, really generous portions, and everything tasted super fresh. The big beer garden is a real bonus – perfect for relaxing with a meal or a drink. Staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back when I’m next in the area!

Had an amazing meal at The Shovels last night. I had the chicken sizzler, other members of my party had, sausage sizzler and fish and chips. Service was fantastic. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. The Guinness was lovely too 🤣.

Great open mic night with some amazing young (and a bit of old!) Talent. Long long wait - hour and a quarter - for quite a dry steak and onion sandwich and a jacket potato. Pretty average food but the front of house girls were super friendly and very apologetic. I get it, busy night and kitchen staff are hard to come by, but at least let people know how long the wait is!

Shovels inn. What can I say, the reviews do not lie, We just had a real pub meal, the hand cut chips were delicious and the club sandwich was the best I have eaten anywhere. My partner had bangers and mash and said it was equally as delicious. The kitchen staff must take such pride in how they are preparing cooking and presenting the food and at great value. Service was also superb and attentive polite and helpful with indecisive me not knowing what to go for. Will 100% return and spread the word to my friends and family. Class 👌 2025 Update. Not been in here for ages, to be honest not much has changed and that's a good thing trust me, because the food is still of the quality when I reviewed this place several years ago. Tried and tested the Timothy Taylor Steak and ale pie, hand cut home made chips, and no bother when swapping garden peas to the other choices, so I went with mushy peas. It was an excellent pie, plenty of thick meat tender as you'd expect, a nice light puff pastry topper, no complaints at all, although my personal opinion id possibly thicken the gravy that is in the pie. Well done to the staff here, they're attentive and helpful, I asked a few questions and recommendations, there's a specials board and curry with rice chips or half and half, I'm coming back, but I'll not take as long this time, definitely here to try the menu. Well done 👏🏽

Went after booking late on. Easier to find than I thought. Welcome was very warm and friendly. The beer was well kept and presented, wine good quality and fair price. Our food could not have been better, and served on properly hot plates. Had the lamb shank and king prawn sizzler. Dessert of ice cream was top notch. Shame it was just a stopover but hope to return to the area in the future, if only to visit this excellent place again.

Called at last minute today to meet up with a friend for a drink , we had planned to eat elsewhere but we read the reviews and watched the food being served so stayed . The landlord was a lovely chap , very friendly , made all in the pub feel at home . Was a quiet afternoon as was 2:30 pm but still regulars coming in . The food was made fresh , big portions and very tasty, the place my friend wanted to eat was now down the list as this place was a good 10 out of 10 All staff happy and friendly , definitely be back .” Thank you “

The Strawberry Gardens Pub and Bistro in Fleetwood is a spotlessly clean and dog-friendly place with excellent food and a fully stocked bar offering various drinks. The staff are known for being friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to both humans and their furry friends. It's a cheerful spot to enjoy some real ale or relax with a meal. Despite some minor disappointments with the chips, the overall experience is highly recommended by visitors who have enjoyed the atmosphere and prompt service during events like school reunions.
The first thing I should say is that if you call it 'dessert' and not 'pudding' then this is probably not the place for you, however, that said we would highly recommend trying this place for good quality no frills pub grub, if you want a decent meal at a decent price then give it a go. The place has an old fashioned charm about it that appealed to us, the original layout has been kept and not thankfully turned into a gastro-pub, it offers a small but varied pub style menu at what we think are reasonable prices. We had the Sunday special which consists of 2 roast dinners and 2 drinks for £25, as you should be able to see from the photo there was a lot on the plate and it was delicious. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, there is music but played at a level where you can chat without shouting (which is a nice change). Overall we would recommend visiting and trying it out, we will definitely be returning soon.

Away fans save your money and go somewhere else! Should be a great pub this. The location’s great, big beer garden and loads of parking. Staff were really nice, but that’s where the positives end. We came for a few beers before football on Saturday and honestly didn’t have a decent pint between the 8 of us. And it’s not cheap either! Estrella was sour, cask tasted soapy, Guinness in cans. Glasses weren’t clean. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I just don’t go back. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a pub. I bought 3 pints and didn’t finish a single one of them.

Came across this pub while staying at Fleetwood. Midweek discount of 33% was attractive!! Lovely pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was amazing!! It was also piping hot. We wish we had found it sooner as it was, by far, the best meal we had eaten in the week. Will definitely revisit when in Fleetwood

After a coastal walk we headed another mile to this spot for lunch after seeking out a place via Google. It was quiet in the afternoon but the home cooked food still came out to a great standard. Home cooked pies were delicious, and plentiful. There was an offer too, which meant reduced prices. Always a bonus.

Food was very nice. Only thing is there weren’t enough chips, and the small amount was covered by the fish. Food was still so nice, with delicious and unique dishes. The Eton mess desert was delicious too. I recommend eating here. The only photo I had of that was with me so I edited myself out and the pic is bad.

Food wasn't good. Had fish and chips, the chips tasted weird (cheap frozen variety that had maybe passed its expiry date) and the fish was tasteless. Dusty plastic roses on the windowsill. Very old fashioned. Service was excellent though.

Great pub, lovely owners and staff. Had a lovely Sunday Roast, 3 meats, 3 types of potatoes, 2 types of stuffing, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire's, 4 types of veg, gravy and sauces, not forgetting the lovely home made soup to start. All served piping hot and very presentable. Could not fault it. Have popped back in for the lunch time special (over 60s) 2 coarses for £4.95 what's not to like, the sausage and mash was really really good with ice cream to follow. Wish we lived nearby as I would make this lovely pub my local.

The Lifeboat Inn, located on Foxhall Road near the Promenade in Blackpool, offers a variety of activities such as darts, karaoke, and pool games. The pub has a nostalgic ambiance with vintage decor like flock wallpaper and 70s-style carpets. It is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere where locals gather to socialize. Really friendly place. Get there early if you want a seat. When I say early I mean early before 2pm! The owner and bar staff really make you feel welcome and your other fellow drinkers are a good crowd too. The real main event here is the Karaoke this starts at about 1pm and runs until 10pm. This charming spot offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes and budgets, from generous portions of freshly battered fish to perfectly cooked chips that are simply irresistible. The atmosphere is relaxed and dog-friendly, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Fresh and tasty food and the 'large' is huge. The 'little dining room' is laid back and dog-friendly. The staff are friendly too and for £15, the large special - including sides, bread and a pot of tea - is great value. The café is about 1 mile from Starr Gate but to be honest, I was glad of the walk after eating that much.

This wee cafe/ traditional fish & chip shop is an absolute gem. It is very dog friendly - our pooches were very grateful for their free sausages 😋 - and the staff were lovely and welcoming and very human friendly too! The menu was not only amazing value for money but the fish supper (fish & chips) was absolutely beautiful 😍. The portion sizes are also very generous (pictured is the medium dish). We're almost scared to tell people how amazing this place is because it may be overrun with visitors meaning the regulars may not get a table - which may be the only downfall if there is a rush, there's only @ 6-7 tables - but we highly recommend you visit & support this lovely wee cafe 🤗

Had a lovely fish & chips dinner last night, sat in for a change! I had a small lightly battered haddock & small chips, so glad I ordered a small as they are large portions 😍 The fish was super fresh and beautiful, chips to die for and homemade tartare sauce, also curry sauce which was lovely 😍 Probably the best Fish & Chips I've had in a long time! The customer service was second to none, Chantelle was wonderful! I highly recommend Taylor's to anyone living in Blackpool or visiting, you won't be disappointed, real people and real, proper fish & chips! Thank you very much Taylor's 😍😍😍

Chosen due to the star rating and the fact that it was a sit down venue rather than just a takeaway. We ordered 2 large fish and chip deals. The portions were generous but wasn't impressed by the fact that the fish had been pre- cooked, kept warm, and then recooked for our order. The batter was really overdone and the fish dry. With freshly cooked fish I would have awarded another *
Dave G — Google review
Best fish and chip shop in Blackpool! Freshly cut chips and selection of fish sizes and lots of different sauces and options , fish cakes scallops ETC, including gluten free. Friendly staff great service. Takeaway or eat in the Cafe.
Andy A — Google review
In my opinion, on just food alone, it is the best chippy in the FY4 area. Generous portions and good value for the money considering the price of chippy grub has significantly increased in the post-COVID era. I’ve never had a bad meal from here. The haddock is delicious, never too overly battered. The chips are lovely, mostly soft and fluffy, not dry as a bone like most chippies who seem to overcook theirs. The people who work here are also friendly and welcoming. It’s generally a good all round chippy that’s in the perfect location, too. There’s always a place to park either on the mini-forecourt, on St Anne’s Road, or just off the side street. For tourists, stay away from the overpriced chippies on or near the sea front and just half a mile in land, this place is ready to serve a good value chippy! Well deserved of 5 stars.

Lee our server was wonderful, attentive and fun. We were sat promptly and given menus. We ordered drinks which came quickly and ordered our food. Our steaks were perfect and my husbands ribs were too much for him, so we were given a bowl to take the rest home. There was a lot of food which was hot, tasty and well presented. My daughter was given a free dessert since it was her birthday which was a generous touch. We paid about £40 for 2 courses and drinks each. We had booked. I enjoyed my latest visit to M&C. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar before our meal, finding the cocktails very reasonably priced. The food was served to the usual high standard . I opted for the pork belly and scallop start and a 12oz ribeye for the main with peppercorn sauce. My only negative was the steak was quite a bit under ‘medium’ cooked for my liking but I did still enjoy it.

Great pub with lovely food! I had a tofu and sweet potato pie and it was very good - some great vegan options. Coming in to get a table (we'd booked) was a bit hectic with different queues for the bar and to be seated, there was a bit of confusion but it was a busy Saturday night. Always a bit of a pain ordering at the bar but service was very good and efficient. Lots of options and we all enjoyed our meal and there was a live singer on just as we were leaving who sounded great. Would go again!

Tavern at the Mill is a charming spot located in Marsh Mill Village, Thornton-Cleveleys. It offers a variety of delicious vegetarian-friendly meals, sweet treats, and simple snacks. The tavern also provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors with dietary requirements, including options for those with neurodiverse needs. Additionally, it boasts a dog-friendly environment and even has a private function area available. Guests have praised the attentive staff and the delectable Sunday roast served at this cozy establishment.
Visited the Tavern earlier this week, one of Joseph Holt's pubs situated in the picturesque craft village of Marsh Mill in Thornton-Cleveleys and sampled their recently launched Spring menu. We tried the following: 》The Ultimate Burger | Classic Beef burger, crispy buttermilk chicken fillet and slow cooked beef brisket topped with mature Cheddar, BBQ sauce and beer battered onion rings 》Joseph Holt's Trailblazer braised Featherblade Steak and Melting Onions with olive oil crushed new potatoes, garlic buttered spinach and green beans 》Hot Honey Chicken | Battered chicken breast chunks in a sticky spiced honey glaze 》Garlic and Stilton Mushrooms | Button mushrooms in a creamy garlic and stilton sauce paired with a garlic-herb ciabatta 》The Lakes' Sticky Toffee Pudding served with custard 》Joseph Holt's Trailblazer Stout & Chardonnay Thoroughly enjoyed everything that we had from the moreish hot honey chicken & creamy mushroom starters to the perfectly cooked tender featherblade steak, flavourful (massive) burger and scrumptious sticky toffee pudding. Looking for a place to unwind with your significant other or mates while enjoying a fab selection of hearty food, homemade desserts, cakes, beers, ales and a carvery available seven days a week? Tavern at the Mill's got you sorted.

Good portion of meat. Home made yorkshires. Would have liked veg to be less soggy but that is personal preference. Staff very friendly and ice cream looked delicious loads of favourite flavours. Can take dogs into bar area and order food if you wanted. Dog bowls also provided. All round lovely pub.

We have been here 20+ times without a problem, and the poached eggs are always runny, this time they was well overcooked and hard so we asked for some more eggs and the picture below was the eggs we were served, makes me ill looking at it, it was as if they had thought because we had complained they would have a laugh and undercook them, the servers were polite though

Really lovely food, reasonably priced. The carvery was lovely. Staff are really helpful and friendly, good cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Going round the Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Thornton area for many years. This is the best pub/dining establishment in the area. The food is very good, good choice of beers. The staff are smart, well dressed , polite with good service. It is definitely a cut above other similar places in the area. The prices are more expensive. But I think its worth it. Well done Joseph Holts .

Great food (except the naan with the curry which was hard, suspect it had been over microwaved). 5* anyway as the rest of the food was lovely and the staff were exceptional.

The spacious and clean environment creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal together. While some dishes may lean towards the greasy side, the attentive service shines through—staff are quick to address any concerns and ensure your dining experience is enjoyable. Families will appreciate the kids' menu options, with generous portions at reasonable prices.
Booked for our wedding anniversary lunch on a Sunday in August. Was surprised to find the restaurant not very busy so it was a pleasant atmosphere to celebrate. Food and drink were excellent and the staff attentive and welcoming. Plenty of parking and in a nice spot too 👍. When booking the table I mentioned it was our anniversary and when we got to our table found a nice little note to say "Happy Anniversary". A nice touch thank you 😍.

Popped in for some food today (02/01) The pub is lovely, spacious and clean. Food ok, little greasy to out liking. Service top notch! We had an issue with two of our meals - fish was over cooked and dry & burger had mayo when none was requested. Our server was very polite and rectified right away. We received new meals - both came out quickly and as they should be. We were offered complimentary deserts, which we declined. When paying they did not charge for one meal, this was much appreciated but not required. We would have happily paid full price due to the service. First photo first meal - second new meal

Visited three days ago for have cider and coffee at first. Coffee was good and even came with a delicious cookie. Ambience was quiet and cosy. We were happy and comfortable that my aunt, my uncle and I decided to stay for dinner as well. We were then led to a cosy area. We ordered and were served shortly with our orders. The food was big in portions and were tasty as well. We were served by a very bubbly, knowledgeable and capable waitress in Donna. She helped us in deciding with our orders and those decisions did not disappoint. We were overall very satisfied with our experience, the food served and the customer service. Definitely will come again!

Rather a mediocre meal for the price. Fish bland, chips rather hard and peas over microwaved. Service good during meal. Not worth a complaint or bad review but for the fact we went outside at half 9 with our drinks and next thing we know it's 10.10pm, the lights are off, doors locked and staff leaving. Glasses not collected & no notice so we couldn't use the toilet before we left. Won't be back.

First class food and service. August 2025 We had organised a celebration with a few friends (about 16) for my wife's 60th birthday last night and they did us proud. Everyone said how good the food was and there were dishes to suit all tastes. Even though our guests did not all arrive on time, the staff were very accommodating. Definitely a venue for more celebrations.

Went in last night, the place is clean and very well decorated, the man who set us at our table was very pleasent and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the food, we were adviced that the soup of the day was pumpkin and butternut squash however it came out as onion soup. My starter of chicken was cold but it was still tasty. The glazed veg was not glazed just steamed and the cheese cake was a hot pile of goo and mush. They were short staffed so hopefully it will improve.

Good food. Good service and handy location on a main route through Thornton to Fleetwood. The junction nearby is currently a nightmare however! The waiter we had was great with the kids, really patient with them. We had the fish goujon butty, it was quite big and filling and not too badly priced. Kids had the 2 courses for £6.99 and they were good portions too. The pictures are of the food after we had started eating as we were all starving and tucked straight into it. The decor of the pub is lovely and it was a peaceful place to sit for lunch.

Fish & chips restaurant
Granada Fish Bar & Restaurant in Fleetwood has received high praise for its delicious fish and chips. The new owners have continued the tradition of good food and friendly service. The venue is clean, welcoming to families, and wheelchair accessible. Vegetarian options like the veggie burger are tasty and well-presented. Visitors recommend trying the set meal deal for a satisfying portion of haddock and chips with mushy peas, buttered bread, and tea.
Nice warm and welcoming place, staff very friendly and helpful. The chips were a little but dry but nothing really bad, I still enjoyed my meal and cup of tea.

Really good value meal. Ordered haddock chips & curry sauce. Fish was large, thick, white & flaky with a perfectly cooked crisp batter. Chips & curry sauce were also perfect in our opinion. Service was quick, friendly & efficient. Clean & spacious seating area. Will definitely return next time we're in the area. We have visited several 'eat in' fish & chip places in the Blackpool area, but this has become our new favourite in terms of quality & value for money.

Fried food is not greasy on the plate. Service very friendly. Chicken bites are not processed. Chilli was home made and had a specials board. Overall a nice place. Portion size in comparison is on the smaller side, but service was great and always room for a pudding. If its quality you are after, but not over facing, this is a chippy I would recommend.

Excellent food and good value for money. Large cod and chips, peas, bread and butter and a coffee £11.50
Amanda H — Google review
A popular place, it was busy when I visited for a takeaway. I had a large cod and chips. The fish was good and fried fresh. The batter was thick and crisp. It was a decent size, but there was also an XL cod on the menu and I'd probably go for that next time. The chips were okay, not as fresh as the fish and a little dry. Took a while to be served, though it was busy.

I visited today and had regular cod, chips and mushy peas. It was delicious...everything cooked to perfection. Nice cosy restaurant with very friendly ownedvand staff.

Angela and I, decided to have fish and chips at the restaurant after visiting Fleetwood Market and I must say this was probably the Best Fish and Chips I have had in this country. The only one I compare it to is Portside Fish and Chips in Fuengirola but that’s a bit of a distance away from Fleetwood. The prices are very reasonable and the meal deal on the fish is really good value. Regular Haddock or Cod , Chips a side of peas or curry sauce and I think there was a 3rd choice but can’t remember, bread and butter plus a pot of tea for £10.95, Large at £12.95 and X Large at £14.95. We had 1 x regular and 1 x Large, it took about 15 minutes to cook but well worth the wait. It was piping hot, the chips were hot and crispy, the fish was not greasy. It was perfect. We highly recommend the restaurant for Fish and Chips and they also do takeaway. If you are in the area, try it. You will not be disappointed.

The Castle Gardens is a local establishment that offers traditional British cuisine and beers. It boasts cozy log fires and hosts regular events. Don't eat here. The bar staff were good however the food is if possible below 1 star. Waited 1 hr 40 mins for a Hot n Spicy Chicken Burger. Looked like a slice of chicken - embarrassed to say I couldn't eat it and ended up spitting some of it out. Was not prepared to wait another 1 hr 40 for a replacement. Waiting on staff did not come to ask how the food was. Two friends were served Fish, peas and salad...the order was Fish, chips and peas....

A group of us visited today to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon ordering, we were informed that the fryers were not working, meaning several dishes—particularly fish options—were unavailable. Unfortunately, there was no signage or prior notice about this issue, which was disappointing as many in our party had planned to order fish. We then asked if the ham, eggs, and chips could be ordered as an alternative, but were initially told it was only available Monday to Friday. At this point, James, who was serving us, could clearly see our disappointment, as this was the backup choice for several guests. We were concerned we might have to leave, which would have put a damper on the birthday celebration. However, James kindly asked a colleague to check with the chef, and we were very grateful when they agreed to make an exception and serve the dish. Thanks to James and the team for their understanding and excellent service in resolving the situation. In the end, everyone really enjoyed their meals, and we appreciate the effort made to accommodate us. We look forward to visiting again—hopefully when the fryer issue has been resolved.

Stylish place, clean and comfortable. We chose the Sunday roast which was very nice indeed! The server was friendly and polite. Personally and only an observation, I thought the guy behind the bar seemed a little off hand with customers and somewhat miserable. Not how a barman should be and certainly not what you would expect in an establishment of this quality. However it didn't spoil our dining experience as our party of four enjoyed a lovely relaxing get-together in lovely surroundings.

My children and I looked at the menu and made our choice and the server apologised several times about how busy it was and said she wouldn't be long, but we didn't mind the wait as we'd enjoyed some lovely time on the beach first. We placed our order and drinks were promptly served. The food is always great quality here the batter is perfectly crispy and the chips light, fluffy and nicely browned. Visited this quaint neapolitan pizzeria/restaurant situated in Cleveleys Town Centre (between Blackpool and Fleetwood) last night to satisfy our cravings for Italian food and they did not disappoint. We sampled their Prezzo Fisso/Set menu which is only £22 for 2 courses. 》Anatra | 6hr Confit Duck leg, braised pak choi, mash potato and plum glaze 》Seabass | Pan roasted Seabass fillet in herbs butter and Parmesan Risotto 》Rotolo | Duck confit rolled in crispy filo pastry 》Fritto Misto | Arancini, fried pasta, potato croquets 》Garlic Pizza bread | Olive oil, rosemary, roast garlic & sea-salt 》Tiramisu and Bread & Butter Pudding The starters certainly whet our appetites which had balanced flavours while the mains were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The fresh seabass complimented the delicate risotto and the tender duck just fell off the bone. An exceptional meal, very satisfied with them. The signature desserts were so addictive, quite impossible to say no to their heavenly tiramisu and bread & butter pudding. Their seafood/meat are locally sourced, freshly made pastas and they only use the best quality, imported ingredients. Overall, a buzzing spot with attentive staff and an extensive food & drinks menu which won't break the bank. Please do check this place out if you're in the area, I highly recommend them. Looking forward to try the other items on their menu on our next visit.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience here. The food was well made and beautifully presented. I had a livornese fish stew. It was full of a variety of seafood which was nowt special, unseasoned, and from the freezer but well sourced. However, it's the depth of flavour you get from the tomato sauce that is worth writing home about. And, of course, the people were wonderful. We'd gladly recommend this one to anyone
Sorcha J — Google review
I wanted to share some very disappointing feedback regarding the service we received last night. Unfortunately, it fell far below the standard we were expecting. From the outset, the service was appalling. At no point were we approached to be asked if we wanted drinks – instead, we had to keep going up to the bar ourselves throughout the evening, which was not what we anticipated given the setting. It felt disorganised and inattentive. Adding to our frustration, there was a waiter who spent a significant amount of time – on and off for well over an hour – chatting to one customer at length, rather than attending to the rest of the guests. This only highlighted the lack of attention the rest of us were receiving. The wait for food was unacceptable. It took nearly an hour for our starters to arrive, and it was close to two hours before we received our main courses. By that point, the evening had become more about waiting than enjoying the meal. Overall, it was a deeply frustrating experience and certainly not what we expected. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the level of service needs urgent improvement.

Pulcinellas seems to be an all male service and is a rarity in the world of Italian eateries as it's LGBTQ+ friendly. This visit is only a 'fair' overall food rating in that the fish and shellfish stew contained a large piece of 'off' fish. I spat it back onto the spoon and informed the staff. I was told I had already eaten half so I could pay for the half of the dish I'd eaten. Okay. We totally understand there are fraudsters out there. We aren't those people. In the end we were not charged for the fish/shellfish stew. Such a shame about that one piece of fish (assuming it was just the one as lits left on plate) but these things can happen. I chose the stew with expectation of a delicious soup base with carefully placed high quality seafood. A light hand from a confident, calm chef might have seriously helped the food experience overall (every diner is a food critic). My stew would have been improved by a 'less is more' approach - less pink trout/rock salmon and gungho plating to start with, and more use of the human nose to detect rancid fish prior to cooking. The shellfish were seriously overcooked which was such a shame. Pulcinella has an early doors set menu 'tho we preferred the full menu options. Other half said the hand made pasta was lovely but the weird addition of crunchy demerara sugar on top spoilt it. I sampled and had to agree. Ask to leave that out if you do choose to eat here. House white was lovely - shame I left the undrunk wine behind whilst paying. Oops. Asked for and got a crispy canoli as dessert, which one of the waiters said I was very lucky to get so I say thank you so much for going to that extra effort. My review is based on personal experience of dinner service on 19/07/2023. I pride myself on giving reflective and fair reviews.

We visited this lovely restaurant on Saturday evening having booked only a few days earlier. It was busy as you would expect for a weekend. The dining experience was superb with every dish looking beautifully presented and full of flavour. The menu proudly boasts the quality, natural ingredients and it is easy to see why when you see the care and attention put into each dish. My daughter is celiac and enjoys the food here because of the excellent GF selection. Well done to the team at Suda Thai, despite the heavy demands on the kitchen you still served up excellent quality in every dish. Well talk about a hidden gem. I last visited the Millers arms as it was a few years back with a friend who was taking me to look for my first car. When I say a few I actually mean around 1987 really it just seems like a few years. Anyway 11 of us visited tonight 9th August 23 on what turned out to be a very delightful chatty evening with some of the best and largest portions of food we have had in a while. The staff were superb and could not do enough for you the food was amazing and if what we had was anything to go by I would recommend any thing on the menu. The pork belly starter was a total revelation never seen such an amazing portion and the quality well mmm. Ribs anyone they are superb and what a portion as for the mixed grill best I have had in a very long time almost talked myself into a lamb burger but as others ordered the mixed grill had to change mine out to avoid food envy. Anyway sorry the photos don’t do the food justice I have written a note to self to also take starter photos next time as we were so excited when they arrived we scoffed the lot even the 2 rib and pork belly share platters we ordered. Go to go now I’m about to slip into a food coma and have to sleep it all off and dream of when we are going back. Thanks for a great evening Miller Arms.

Overall, 7/10. I used to rate Blackpool accommodation and was a GTA food judge..also worked for four breweries. A little tardy at the side entrance, needs a good wash down of paintwork and a welcome A board would be nice. Such a shame, this place is in a lovely location, Decent pint for a reasonable price, cheery staff. Decent pub grub (gastro it's not, but wholesome.and tasty). There's a pool table, nice pub garden, lots of parking, nice open fires (for Winter). Honestly there are many, many poor pubs out there, this isn't one of them. This is a locals.pub but welcoming of strangers. We shall be back!

Inedible steak pie and tastless mash! Shoeleather meat like school dinners used to be ! All of 5 pieces, my dogs eat better...fish and chips very oily! Long wait too , strange as it was nearly empty, a complete waste of money and disappointing, obviosly will not be returning!

We stayed one night. The room was compact but the tidy n modern. Bed was amazingly comfy. Shower was nice. Needed better biscuits for the price we paid!! (Nasty biscoffs) And bottle water in the room would've been nice (there were 2 glasses on the table). Anyway Breakfast was cooked well (English fry up) so no complaints. We had lunch prior, which tbh, I think was a llittle overpriced. But it was tasty.

Visited for a wedding close by. The rooms are very basic with poor lighting. There’s a decent set of tea/coffee and biscuits to choose from in the room, but missing tissues and some other small touches. Breakfast was very disappointing with limited options, overcooked eggs and it wasn’t tasty. The staff were very unwelcoming and curt. The room where breakfast is served is nice but the acoustics are terrible and the background noise made it difficult to hold a conversation on our table. The bar is stocked well and there’s a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the river. Based on our experience, we won’t visit again.

I don't often leave negative reviews, but I really wouldn't rate the food here, especially if you expect more than 2 carrot batons on a roast dinner, cooked roast potatoes & a gluten free Yorkshire. If I knew I was ordering what I was given then fair enough, but I wasn't told at all what my gluten free option would be. Yet still charged the same. Make it make sense.

Not a quality hotel for the high price per night. Breakfast was covered in fat grease, eggs not fried properly. Cutlery was dirty and the table was was sticky with the no cover. Chairs dirty stained and crumbs left on the table. Some table had left over Breakfast on the table, plates, cups, forks etc. Morning staff wore unkempt clothes, food traces. Night restaurant staff were superb, in service, manner and not arguing, like the Breakfast staff. Fire information on door of room should be made clear to read. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, unless they changed the standards. Sorry

Me and my family came here for a meal, it’s a very nice view of the river wyre. The Sunday roasts looked amazing. I myself got a Smokey burger which was quality and quantity. I also got the lemonade which tasted like any other (amazing) but the sparkling wine looked good. My family also got the cappuccino which smelt and looked supreme. For dessert, I got the tripple chocolate Sunday which was so sweet and rich, but the cream was a refreshing difference. I totally recommend

Not been for few years, called by solo on hope of a table, can't fault Sunday roast or the service by restaurant manager, waitresses & young man behind bar, food was exceptional, best meaty roast I've had for some time, had the vegetable soup of the day for starter, all served hot and more so on hot crockery too! Definitely be back with friends, but will book.

Had a table booked for 7 people on Sunday, we walked in to be told no Sunday dinners left and said he would let us decided if we wanted to stay but left us with no menus. Had to ask for menus after sitting there for 10 min and waited a further 5 min for these to arrive but they didn’t we then went up to the bar to be told by the girl behind the bar ‘I’m just dealing with something then I’ll be over’ we’d already waited long enough for a menu! At this point we decided to leave, which they couldn’t care less about, just said ok, very disappointed with the customer service and the attitude of the ‘manager’ I presume that’s who he was. Clearly can’t cope with the demand so shouldn’t book people in. Spoilt a special day for us!!

Well what can I say except love this place .... I'll comment abit more too for those coeliac suffers out there; this restaurant could not do enough... Soo provincent and skillfully in all areas, polite and understood the procedures required for my annoying disease. I applause them all from waiter to chefs management and bar staff; everyone. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Had a great time, ambiance was lovely. As I started this review I will end it by saying I loved this place... You need to visit you won't be disappointed But you need to book as it's very popular, understandably. Regards Deborah and Anthony

What a shame!!! We ordered starters and mains with a bottle of wine. The younger lady serving us was polite and friendly. Starters were fine but then the issues started, my wife ordered Grouper & Crab, I had the Pork tomahawk, when my wife started to eat she instantly said there’s coriander in this which she hates with a passion, I asked the waitress if there was as there was no mention on the menu, she went and asked the chef and yes there was, we weren’t given any option to change the meal, then an older lady possibly the manager or owner came over and started in an abrupt manor asking what the problem was, not wishing to make a scene at the table in front of the other dinners I said I’d discuss at the till shortly. I’d already mentioned to my wife that my “Tomahawk” was really nothing more than a pork chop, a good size but never the less not a Tomahawk, I even googled it at the table to show my wife. We ended the meal and left the table to pay. The same older lady was waiting, this time she’s was full on defensive mode, said that chef could use whatever they wanted without listing it, I explained that the menu clearly indicated that other dishes had Garlic or Chive oil so why not list a strong and powerful herb like coriander? She just repeated herself over again, she then moved to my meal, saying “so yours was alright” to which I said it was ok however the Tomahawk was not a true tomahawk it was a pork chop, well that did not go down well!!!! She ranted on that it was a “French trimmed Tomahawk” and said I should google it, I explained that I eat these regularly and that I had indeed googled it, she then said she’d get the invoices and show me, then she said she’d get the chefs out of the kitchen all in a very very aggressive tone and manor. At this point my wife was uncomfortable with the situation so I just asked to pay, so we could leave, at no point was there an apology or the word sorry just a full on rant! When we got back to our hotel staff asked if we’d had a nice meal, when we explained they did say that she could be like that !!🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ What a shame owners / managers don’t feel the need to show great customer care when little things go wrong and then blow them out of proportion!

It was our 1st time going to pipers and it was lovely, the food was amazing it tasted great and presentable compliments to the chef. staff was lovely and very polite, the place was lovey inside and had a nice cottage calming atmosphere. And it was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a lovely meal.

Welcome was positive and helpful. Staff are smiley and generally seem quite keen. Nice range on the menu. All sounds very good. The wait for service was quite long, I don’t think they had quite enough staff on that day (Saturday lunchtime!). Live music was quite good - playing covers of Dylan songs etc. the burger and chips were ok but certainly not worth the price. Maybe £12 would have been reasonable but with a coke this was a £20 meal and the signature burger just tasted a bit odd. I think char siu sauce clashes with honey bourbon sauce! We didn’t get asked if everything was ok until after we’d basically finished. If it had cost 2/3 the price, it probably would have been fine. Staff were friendly though and the parking at Booth’s was free. Comfortable booth in the beer garden.

This was the second time we've eaten here, and both times the service was very slow. We waited an hour from ordering for any food to come out last time, and this time we were there for very nearly three hours for a three course meal. I feel they might be better cutting down the menu a bit, with mains, a weekday special menu and the grill section to choose from, they aren't going to do everything well. Our starters were great, mains quite bland, particularly the salmon "from the grill", and dessert was nice. Not worth the length of time it took though. There are better places for the price.

We were seated quickly and given menus, which was a good start. The place wasn’t busy and had a calm atmosphere. Staff were polite, and things looked promising. Unfortunately, the service let it down. We waited around 30 minutes with no drinks, and the food arrived before the coffees. When the coffee did arrive, it was far too sweet and tasted like it was mostly syrup so we didn’t drink them. There seemed to be only one person making the drinks, which may explain the delay, but it didn’t help that the waitress could be seen standing outside chatting with someone during that time. The couple next to us, who were already seated when we arrived, didn’t even get menus until after we did. The food was just okay, nothing terrible, but nothing amazing either. Not the worst experience, but definitely not one I’d rush to repeat

We visited last night for a birthday meal upon recommendation. Cannot fault the food. It's tasty and well priced for what is offered. The exception to this is the bread. £5 is very expensive for the portion sizes. Unfortunately, the management of service (not waiting staff - this is important; they were fine and friendly) was a big let down. We had ordered a paella in advance, and confirmed this the day before. Upon arrival at the restaurant (we arrived 10 minute earlier than booked), we confirmed with the team that we had ordered a paella. Due to human error, we were notified one hour later that there had been a mix up in the kitchen and we had to wait another 25 minutes for it to come. If not, it would be boxed up (due to the restrictive 2h table policy they have in place). Eventually (and perhaps predictably) the paella did not arrive after their extension. It had been 1h 35 minutes since it was ordered (even though it was booked in weeks in advanced, and rung up the day before, and confirmed upon our arrival). At this point, we decided to leave. The shift manager was understanding and eliminated the paella from the bill, as well as offering us a free drink and a good (and much appreciated) discount from the bill. We accepted the offer. He asked us if we would like to take the paella anyway since it was ready to be dished. I accepted (other members of the party left). I waited near the bar for an ADDITIONAL twenty minutes while the paella never came. It felt quite humiliating to wait at the bar, and this was the worst part of the whole evening. In the end, I just left. It was 8.25pm at this point (1h 55 minutes into our allocated 2h) and it was very clear that there wasn't ever any paella. So, in sum, yes - food is good. Staff are lovely. However, it's clear that there is are recurring managerial issues as I am not the only other person to bring this up. Maybe once is a "human error", but when these errors pop up frequently, perhaps its the greed of the owners who understaff their business and won't allocate much needed resources to manage client flow.

A really horrible experience. Last night my family and I went here for a meal. We live in poulton and have been here before and enjoyed it- not last night! When we arrived we were told we had a time limitation of 90 minutes for our meal, we were confused as we weren’t told this at the time of booking and we had booked their earliest time (5.30) to avoid the rush. We also know some dishes take 40 minutes to cook! We asked to move tables to another 4 seater closer to the window (as this would be easier for my dad post-chemo) and we were told this wouldn’t be possible, despite the fact nobody else had arrived in the restaurant yet. When we went to order food and we asked again about the time limit (my dad wanted to order steak with a 40 minute cook time), she said that we had until 7.30- which was actually over 90 minutes so we ordered. Once our dishes were served another member of staff asked (whilst we were still eating) if we were thinking of having desserts and said that he needed to know now and pointed to his watch! Clearly we didn’t order dessert! Once our plates were cleared and we were finishing off our drinks we were told we need to leave now as the next guests had arrived. This was 7pm- not what we were told when ordering the £42 steak an hour before…The waitress hung around awkwardly then so we didn’t even get to finish our drinks (as pictured below). The whole experience was horrendous. My mum and I went downstairs to pay and discuss with staff how we were feeling. The waiting staff who were also on the till said there was nothing they could do, other than try to inform people about the time limit when they booked (which we certainly had not had) and when I asked to speak to the manager they made it clear that he was busy and that was it! We paid our full bill and left. Having gone out for my dad’s birthday and celebrating the end of his cancer treatment I’m so disappointed it was such a horrible experience. I won’t be returning and will be informing everyone I know locally to avoid.

Thought we would try the restaurant as we are fans of Spanish food. Very quaint almost Spanish village setting, which was nice. When we arrived the table wasn’t ready and we were invited to sit in the bar area. Staff were apologetic on the wait. We waited some 20 minutes for drinks though, which was disappointing given we ordered two bottles of wine which ought to be straight forward. We were brought some bread and Ali oli, however the bread wasn’t warmed, which was a little disappointing. The food on the whole was good, although some dishes lacked seasoning. The Ox Cheek was fantastic. The service was however lacking. We had to seek the attention of the staff a number of times for additional drinks and dessert. The dessert was brought and we were not provided anything to eat them with, nor was the table cleared of our mains dishes. Staff were too busy kneeling down behind the bar on social media and making each other alcoholic drinks, cleaning and stocking the bar and not at all concerned with or attentive towards customers. Overall, food was good, service very poor. Worth a visit for the food, but be prepared to be disappointed on the service front.

Went yesterday evening for my son in laws birthday. I phoned and ordered paella 3 weeks previous and confirmed this by phone the night before. On arrival we were informed we had the table for 2 hours. The service was slow getting our drinks but it was a Saturday night. Our food choice was taken some 20 minutes later when we ordered tapas, at this time I reminded the waiter about the paella who didn't seem to know about this. Tapas arrived slowly and when he came with the last of these dishes he informed me that the paella would be about a further 20 minutes and that if we went over the alloted 2 hours they would make it a takeaway? We waited a further 25 mins, no paella arrived. On requesting the manager he informed me the oversight was down to human error, which took nearly 2 hours to correct, we should have been informed of this on arrival. Suddenly the paella was ready, and there would be no charge, at this point my son in law decided he would have it as a takeaway. My party agreed we arranged for him to stop behind and wait for this to appear. My daughter drove me home as I live in Poulton and pick her partner up with the said paella, but surprise none appeared having waited another 20 mins. Speaking to the manager again his response was that we hadn't requested it to takeaway and anyway he'd given us 20% off the tapas bill? It totally ruined our evening. DON'T ORDER PAELLA as nobody should have to wait 2 hours for a meal. Would you?

Update: went back again Mar 2023 still blown away by the quality of the food served here. Really cannot say enough good things about this place. Found this absolute gem last night .. went with the other half for a spontaneous date night .. couldn't have picked a better place .. we ordered 7 dishes from the tapas menus and we were not disappointed. All dishes were served piping hot and tasted amazing. We had the stuffed peppers, battered chicken, a chorizo, potato and egg dish and black pudding with feta cheese just to name a few of the dishes .. now I'm not a fan of black pudding it was the other half that ordered them but I tried it and it was one of my favourite dishes of the night. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave good recommendations. We will definitely be going back there soon I hope

First things first, the aioli was the absolute highlight of the meal - it was incredible! We eat it quite frequently in my house and my wife is an expert at making it and this is the first time I’ve ever considered a restaurant to be on par with that - amazing! The calamari was nicely battered and crisp, the Spanish tortilla was wonderful, dense and flaky and the chorizo and clams in white wine sauce was equally flavorful. I’m glad I ventured out of the hotel for this meal.

After completing an 11-mile hike, we were famished and stumbled upon The Fish House in Fleetwood. We dined inside and were promptly greeted by a friendly waiter who quickly took our order. The meal that arrived was beautifully presented, fresh, and incredibly delicious. It was undeniably one of the best fish and chips meals we've ever had, with perfectly cooked fish, crispy chips, and delightful mushy peas.
We ate in the restaurant, we had the haddock and cod specials which included fish and chips, mushy peas and bread and butter. Bags of flavour, everything tasted fantastic, fish was freshly cooked, great meal and highly recommended

Simply the best fish & chips I've ever had. I had the "mixed grill" of fish and chips & the whole meal was fantastic. Batter is light & crispy, fish tasted fresh & the chips were crispy too. Could've done with a bit more tartare sauce (which was really nice) but that's a very minor gripe. Service was friendly & really quick. The restaurant is also very spacious. Definitely going back.

We ordered tea for 2 . It came in small tea pot , that only just managed 2 cups, so small cup each. We asked for extra tea which we were given, but charged for. (We were offered a top up of hot water free,). Overall great fish and chips .

3 Mexicans ate here. It was pretty alright. The corn tortillas for the enchiladas was a nice touch. My biggest complain.. The burrito wasn't a burrito at all...more like a big enchilada, and the Chipotle pulled pork didn't taste Chipotle at all. Also, the music was kind of too loud.

I couldn't fault the food. The mixed grill was good value for money. You can see the Beach from the table. But be prepared to have cash on you. The server said that their card machine often doesn't work (particularly on Wednesday apparently). The owner forced us to go a 1/4 mile down the road to get cash out (3.99 charge on the cash machine) and to take that much money out, late at night at yarmouth is certainly not ideal. Although we appreciate the situation was frustrating for the owners, an apology would've surviced and even a Glass of Tap Water on the house would've been appreciated (the server warned us the tap water is £2.90). A small gesture that would've went a long way and so for that reason I can't possibly give the experience 4 stars.

We usually really enjoy it here but we're not as impressed this time. No free nachos anymore, sharing nachos with the tiniest amount of salsa and a long wait of 1 hour between arrival and food. The chilli consisted of little more than beans so was glad I hadn't ordered this one. Was impressed that the wine prices are reasonable though.

Came here for a works night out with 8 of us on a Thursday evening. Place was a little cramped, was very busy & was understaffed, but we enjoyed our night. Food took longer than expected but when it came it was well presented & very nice. The cocktails on offer were brilliant but unfortunately as they were understaffed, only one person could make them which an age as all tables were ordering. Been here a couple of times before and enjoyed it, and always seems to be booked up well in advance. Went spontaneously on a Thursday night in January and had no trouble getting a table. Food was delicious, the signature Cincorita cocktail was a tasty novelty, and the service was great. Highly recommended!

Great food , great atmosphere but feel rushed to leave as it’s a small place. We had half a bottle of wine left and a member of staff told us she needed the table and didn’t offer us anywhere else to sit to finish our drinks.

Café Royal is a British café located in Fleetwood, Lancashire. It is known for its good breakfast and clean environment. Visitors have praised the café for its lovely fresh, high-quality 'home-cooked' comfort food, including dishes like mince and onion pie with vegetables and rich gravy, as well as liver and onions. The portion sizes are described as generous, making it a satisfying dining experience. Additionally, the café is pet-friendly, allowing visitors to bring their dogs along.
Great homemade food and great quality. Lovely staff! Highly recommend the Sunday Roast!! Super-affordable too. Will be def back soon! Thanks!

A Saturday lunchtime. This was our first time visiting this cafe and it was enjoyable. Good home cooked style food, we both had a roast dinner, one beef and one chicken (the chicken meal doesn't come with Yorkshire pudding unless you request it), both big plates full but more importantly tasted good. Very popular with the local elderly which is always a good sign and was very busy when we arrived (pics taken when it quietened down). We purchased scones to go and they were excellent too. Good prices, good food and good service.

Visiting Fleetwood promenade for the first time, thought Cafe Royal was the best choice in the vicinity for an afternoon meal. The cafe was clean and the staff were friendly. We had the fish and chips, whilst the fish and batter was reasonably good, the chips looked good unfortunately were not chippy chips,, being dry and lacked taste.

I didn't think places like this still existed. Hearty, tasty, down-to-earth food at very reasonable prices. Generous portions mean there's no chance you'll leave hungry. The cheese and onion pie is tremendous. The people are warm, welcoming and friendly, providing top-notch service that deserves every tip given. My only regret is that I didn't discover this gem until now. I'll be making up for lost time, and the roast dinner is top of my hit list for my next visit.

We stopped for tea but everything sounded so good we had an early dinner - I had roast turkey. We were not disappointed. The portions were generous, the price was reasonable, and everything was well cooked. Just right. The owner made us feel at home. She learned that we were staying in Blackpool to watch the World Matchplay of darts. She mentioned that a former player , Wes Newton, sometimes eats here — he would never remember us but we met him years ago at the Desert Classic. All I can say is that if Wes eats here, it is all the more reason to trust this cafe. My only regret was that we left the area the next day and couldn’t return.

Been coming here for a good few years, but this is the first time in a while because they only open Friday to Sunday, so with it being Easter Weekend we decided to have a ride to Cleveleys and then go on to Fleetwood to Cafe Royal for something to eat, piping hot food, lovely waitress, and 4 empty plates, they only take cash just in case you only use a card

Visiting our old hometown from Australia and ate a few times here during our stay. A cafe in a beautiful location just opposite the north Euston Hotel. All the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Everytime we ate the food was always delicious with massive portions. All food homemade and you can tell the love that goes into every bite. We will definitely be back here on our next visit to Fleetwood. Thanks Cafe Royal team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nestled in the heart of Garstang, the Royal Oak Hotel is a charming 17th-century coaching inn that perfectly captures the essence of this picturesque market town. With its inviting bar and restaurant featuring a lovely terrace, it’s an ideal spot to unwind after exploring the local attractions. Garstang itself is conveniently located between Lancaster and Preston, making it a popular choice for both commuters and tourists seeking a peaceful retreat.
There are so many eateries in Garstang I was spoilt for choice, but I opted to have my lunch at the Royal Oak, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! This former coaching inn, dating from the 1600's, stands in the cobbled marketplace, behind the market cross. There's plenty of outdoor seating. It was market day and the pub was very busy, but the young man who greeted me and took my order was both welcoming and attentive, and I was served quickly. Besides the main bar and a couple of dining areas, there are smaller rooms and cosy nooks with wood panelling, brasses, comfy seating, and some lovely pictures and local scenes on the walls. Very friendly atmosphere, and dog friendly too. There's a good choice of draught and cask beers, but I had a nice rose wine with my meal. Large menu with a great selection of hearty cooked meals, grills, salads, sandwiches and lighter options, and there was also a specials board. Plenty for veggies too! Had the peppercorn chicken with mash and mixed veg. The chicken was really tender, the sauce was deliciously creamy, and the vegetables were just right, neither overcooked nor too hard. Generous portions. The jam sponge with custard that I had for afters was a real treat, and the latte was very good (and hot). Prices were so reasonable given the quality of the meal and hospitality. Would recommend this pub and would happily come again.

Having visited many times in the past and was delighted with the food, my wife and I visited again with friends as we'd highly recommended the royal oak for the food quality..we booked a table for an evening meal and when we arrived we were informed that the standard menu was no longer available that evening as they were having a " Lancashire favourites menu " ie. Black pudding, fish and chips, sausage and mash etc Therefore there were no steaks or fish selection ( although battered fish and chips was available ). We were extremely disappointed as we had brought friends and highly recommended the excellent food we'd had in the past.. We were not the only ones in the pub that were more than disappointed and with hindsight we should have left. My main objection was that when we had made the booking for the evening dinner, the previous day, then this Lancashire menu should have been made clear to us and that the standard menu was not available, therefore we could have had a chance to book elsewhere.

Olive and Jamie ran the front house like clockwork. Excellent customer service Good quality mainly locally produced food as well as selection of alcoholic beverages. The beer garden at front is to die for, watching the people pass bye while the last rays of sunshine blesses your face. Very clean throughout, wheelchair accessible ramps and toilets. Olive and Jamie make this ordinary hotel/pub into a dining experience to appreciate. I would highly recommend.

Have just visited as a group of 3 for food. My parents both had steak and kidney pie which they said was fantastic and was hot (something rare when eating out) My chicken burger was the best I’ve had in a long time. The young lady serving us was fantastic and made our experience very pleasurable. Definitely recommend.

Great lunch today at The Royal Oak, Garstang! A warm welcome from a very knowledgeable landlord who clearly keeps a great cellar – the pint of Dizzy Blonde was spot on. The menu had plenty of choice, including lite bites, and the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection with the best stack of onion rings I’ve had in ages. Big thanks to the team – and Ragnar our dog says cheers for the treats too! 🐾👍

Spicy chips were tasty as well a little too much but ate every bit heat and flavour the meal was delivered early the young lady was very pleasant even the gentleman who took the order professional and efficient would recommend I added photos this time a beautiful young waitress very pleasant and professional took me back to my times in bangkok, no sign of my favourite waitress tonight but the staff were very friendly and our meal was ready. No chan beer but I think there is a shortage right now a pre birthday celebration the soup though tasting the lemongrass could have been hotter it was last time but full flavour that isn't a complaint just very used to hot food a lot more flavour than Chinese keep up your excellent standard of service and execution of the dishes

Nestled alongside the picturesque River Wyre, The Bourne Arms is a delightful pub that offers an inviting atmosphere and stunning views of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. On a recent visit, I savored delicious bacon butties from their garden tuktuk—a perfect way to kick off a Sunday! The food here consistently impresses, with options for various dietary needs, including gluten-free meals.
The Bourne Arms Sunday lunch is everything good (and indeed excellent) that has been described in these reviews, if not even better! Try to book a table by the window (we had table 20) in the dining room up the half-staircase. While enjoying the food you have a view out over the extensive reaches of Morecambe Bay with Heysham in the foreground (perhaps with the Isle of Man ferry coming or going) and the sweep of the Lake District mountains in the background. To see the detail, including the bird life, powerful binoculars are waiting ready on the window sill! Our photograph goes nowhere near capturing the grandeur of this setting.

Fantastic service could not fault! My youngest ordered tomato pasta off the kids menu, but when it came it was a cream and arrabiata sauce which was too spicy for her so they happily swapped her meal. Lovely gluten free meals with plenty of choice. We had battered halloumi and chicken goujons to start which was freshly battered chicken- yummy! Unfortunately they had no gluten free pasta available and the liver and onions was unavailable so it limited our options on the day we visited. Definitely worth a visit but I would call in advance if you require gluten free!

Food extremely delicious; hot and flavoursome. The whole table really enjoyed their dishes. Atmosphere is great - can see into the kitchen, but it’s not for those who like it quiet and calm. It’s a very loud small space with no sound dampening. Service was a let down, orders for drinks taken and delivered to the table, main order taken. Food arrived, further drinks ordered, but they didn’t arrive until we finished eating. We had to ask for our table to be cleared, then we had to grab somebody for both the desert menu and to also order deserts. Ordered table water with the desert, but it never arrived but was on the bill; thankfully free!!

Rico’s is a high quality establishment that is worthy of the reputation it’s built up over the last four decades. I had the calzone and it was delicious. Large in size and plenty of flavour. The service was really good with staff committed to delivering a friendly and welcoming experience. The ambience of the restaurant created the ideal setting for a bank holiday meal out. It had a good view with the backdrop of an historical market town. Slight areas for improvement might include having a single named waiter/waitress. The bread sticks were a really welcome addition, but I don’t think they should be served in the packet.

Seniors Thornton is a standout destination for fish and chips in the Fylde area, proudly established by the Horabin family in 2006. This location has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best, even earning accolades like Best British Fish and Chip Shop at the National Fish and Chip Awards in 2012. Visitors rave about the delicious food, with many returning for its consistently high quality.
Been coming here for a few years with the family. Firstly we've always had great customer service and no issues. We've never had a bad meal here, and if you don't have enough chips you can ask for a free top up. There are portion sizes and deals to suit everyone, however as is with the industry prices have gone up. Our last meal, the fish was buttery soft and battered perfect and so were the chips. We travel 45 to come here so it must be good!

Food arrived punctually and, more importantly, still hot. One of us had cod, the other had halibut and both were well cooked, batter still crispy and both tasting good. Chips were a bit pale in appearance but looked and tasted as if they had been made from real potatoes and not some reconstituted extrusion from a machine. The driver was friendly and pleasant and we had no issues whatsoever with our experience.

Food as always was delicious I ordered the halibut for myself which came with chips. I left most of the chips not for any other reason than the fish was huge and there was no way I was leaving the fish. My husband had steak pie and chips which he also enjoyed and didn't leave a scrap. Of course we couldn't leave our little dog Willow out so as always she got a sausage which she wolfed down. Food always nice, hot and fresh and always arrives within the time given.

We visited China Red for a meal with friends. The restaurant is well decorated with lots of good touches like the koi pool and spacious dining area. There are lots of food options available on the menu and also a really good value for money set menu option for sharing. I had the crispy chilli chicken with egg fried rice, and it was really tasty and perfectly cooked. Often with crispy chicken dishes, other chefs can go overboard with the oil and sauces, and it becomes a big soggy and chewy but not at China red it was just right.

Ordered takeaway. The ordering experience went well and the food arrived on time. Unfortunately the food quality was hit and miss. The salt squid starter was chewy, fairly inedible. The duck dish was a little better but the duck could have been more tender. The other main dishes were ok, not exceptional, but portions were at least plentiful. We received a chicken wing starter that we had not ordered, a bonus perhaps compensating a little for the squid being overcooked.

I have been using lemon tree for a few years, it has never been the best but certainly good tasting food. After seeing the 1 star food hygiene rating il never use them again. Usually our order is around £60 and it’s once a week, will definitely be looking elsewhere from now on.

While visiting my parents for the long weekend we ordered a takeaway from The Lemon Tree this evening. I ordered via the restaurant website and the system was clear and easy to use, although there was a minor snag inputting the delivery address but it is an awkward address and they did find us. It also gave an estimated delivery time that was accurate to within 5 minutes. I was particularly impressed that restaurant itself offered delivery to my parents as it's about a 20 minute drive from the restaurant, especially as delivery is a rarity to my parents address because they live in a small village. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the chicken korma I ordered as the sauce was a bit runny. I did try a small bit of the bhuna and dansak that were also in the order and they seemed a better standard. My parents are return customers and happy with their dishes so perhaps the quality of my korma was the exception. I suspect I'll end up eating takeaway from them again and hope that my next review will be more positive.

Food and service were excellent. There were 16 of us and everyone loved the food. Staff were very accommodating in allowing us to decorate the table for own celebration. Only downside was not itemising a drinks bill. Some had paid for drinks at the bar and those who added to tab didn't know how much they'd spent as there was no price list. This caused some to pay extra to cover costs even after allowing for tip. I recommend that guests ask for individual bills for drinks as they go. One waiter offered this service while another added to the main bill. Overall though, this is a great restaurant and I would highly recommend.

A few pointers... 1) Don’t do deliveries if you struggle with organisation. 2) Don’t put 50 min delivery time on just eat it it’s going to be 2 hours and 45 3) Get faster cars for your delivery drivers. 3.5 miles in over 30 mins.... no joke I could almost walk faster. 4) If you are going to perform poorly, don’t get a young girl to answer phone who has no phone or customer service skills. As you can tell I’m not happy. I don’t usually leave reviews but seen as it was a record delivery time thought it was worth my input. Food was average and bland but surprisingly warm seen as it it took longer to prep and deliver than it would for me to drive to other side of country. All of above quite the norm according to google reviews, wish I read that first. Thanks for nothing Lemon tree, I won’t be back

Although it appears small from the outside, the interior feels spacious thanks to clever design elements like large windows in the rooftop bar.
Our second visit today and once again it was phenomenal. Place was busy, which is nice to see. Atmosphere and food were amazing. Great manager at the front, couldn’t do more for us if we wanted to. Can’t wait till we go back!

Been here around a year ago and ordered a Sunday roast, was told it was small so they recommend a starter - ordered a starter, never came. Waited over an hour and the roast dinner came out. Had to have nearly a 20 minute conversation with the manager to get the starters which we didn’t recieve taken off the bill. Came this evening for a friends birthday. We all pre ordered. I ordered a chicken katsu curry (which was average at best). The waitress apologised that mine would not come out at the same time as everyone else’s and offered me a snack/small plate in the interim. I replied some chips. They added this into the £550+ bill. When questioned that I believed this was complimentary for the delay, the female manager was fairly rude. The venue should learn communication skills and hospitality. Cocktails were lovely, food average, and staff poor at best; I will not be returning.

Undoubtedly the best restaurant of any type in Poulton. Service is excellent and professional (unlike others) and with a personal touch. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Excellent cocktail waiter who knew all the recipes of traditional cocktails without having to look them up. He mixed the best Dirty Martini (two of them) I have ever had in UK, and I've swigged a few. (The best in the world is in a cafe in Pollensa, Mallorca).

A small looking restaurant from the front, but the inside does not disappoint. Dark and moody decor is met by slithers of bright LEDs and lamps. The rooftop bar is tight but the windows make it feel bigger. The main dining room again is narrow but you don't feel squashed in like some other restaurants. Our waiting staff Eva was friendly answered any questions we had and explain the menu great. She recommended 2-3 small plates each or 1 big plate and 1-2 small plates each. I ordered 2 small plates, 1 small sushi, 1 large plate and a snack, for me it was the perfect amount of food. All the food portion sized were fitting to their price comparison and all of it tasted amazing. One of the letdowns was the size of the sushi, considering 4 sushi pieces was £10~, I expected them to be a bit bigger in size, but they were the smallest sushi I've ever seen. Overall I will come back to this restaurant in the future. The price to taste is excellent and everything tasted amazing.

This restaurant was such an amazing experience, it was my first time coming and I definitely was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming they even recommended such delicious drinks to me, such a fun but also chill environment. Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Poulton. Thank you Gochu! 😊

Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, Cube Bar Kitchen is the perfect spot for any occasion, whether it's a casual lunch with friends or a festive team dinner. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. With an extensive menu featuring everything from hearty burgers to fresh salads and kid-friendly options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. For those looking to indulge, their bottomless brunch is a must-try!
Had the bottomless brunch (£35pp) with a friend. Fantastic cocktails and food. Excellent and attentive service from all staff but especially Carl, between making cocktails for us and everyone else he would regularly check in and offer recommendations for the next pick if we were undecided. Will be back regularly for a quiet pint or a big night of cocktails again. Thank you!

Excellent food and very large portions, the waiting time was probably the only "problem ", but we had a very good time here. They also have some really good cocktails, absolutely love the Mai Tai! 😊

Had our xmas team dinner here. Food was good, chicken liver pate, festive burger (not sure what the gravy was for) and the biscoff sundae. All tasted great but the service wasn't. We were a party of 12 and the food arrived at different times so didn't feel like we all ate together. Good selection of beers including craft beers. The cocktails were good with deals until 9pm

This place isn’t what it used to be. I’m sorry to say that The Cube has had its day. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and it used to be THE place to go with great food, cocktails, prices, curly fries and friendly staff. But after my latest experience I won’t be returning. Two issues; • The staff. All the menus state that you can order via table service or the app. After using the app a few times, we asked if we could order with a waitress, and her attitude was appalling - she told us they were too busy and that it was a big problem and to do so would be doing us a favour. We should have left then!! • The cocktails. We ordered piña coladas and Long Island iced teas. As you can see from my review history, I’m partial to a cocktail and am a mixologist in my own time. What we were served was very poor quality. They all tasted terrible and badly made. We asked to return them all and was told ‘no, they’re perfectly made to our recipe and everyone loves them’. Spending £40 on a round of cocktails on a Thursday afternoon you expect a decent standard. The manager’s attitude was just as bad as the waitresses. We had the cocktails replaced with rum and cokes as no refund was in sight. I have so many happy memories of The Cube from fantastic lunches to family celebrations and nights out and often look forward to returning, but this was terrible. And, to top it off, NO CURLY FRIES on the menu anymore which were my fav. I hope the management can sort things out because they are better than this.

Table of 9 for lunch today, including 1 x vegetarian, 1 x coeliac, and 4 x children. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Total credit to the place! Excellent vibe, busy for brunch and lunch but really attentive service, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Huge menu, and everyone was really happy with their food, including burgers, salads and kids options.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Meherin Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant. This gem offers an inviting atmosphere that buzzes with energy, especially during busy times, which is always a good sign of great food! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that your needs are met without delay. During my visit with a large group of 16 on Christmas Eve, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went.
My family and I went on Xmas eve for a sit down meal. We were seated at our table by the politest and kindest servers I've met. The service was five stars and that was reflected in the tip we left! The food took a little longer to be served but was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. I am always happy to wait a bit longer for food when it's that good! The atmosphere was very busy but there was a great atmosphere. When a restaurant/takeaway is busy you know that food is going to be great. All in all my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our Xmas Eve meal. We will gladly be back again in the future and I can recommend this to anyone in the area!

Service wasn't good or bad. Just average. Was led to a table that wasn't laid. I ordered Chicken Tikka Madras and Garlic Naan Bread. The sauce was excellent but the chicken definitely wasn't tikka. The garlic bread was very good though. Doubt I would return as the meal wasn't quite as good as I was led to believe from previous reviews. Also the extra touches that you expect at a Indian Restaurant were missing, for example no hot towels, mints at the end of a meal etc. Nobody asked me if I wanted a dessert or coffee.

The food here is always excellent. You may have to wait a little but it's worth the wait. The last time we had a takeaway as we couldn't make the restaurant but it was just as good as usual. The staff are always friendly .

I went in with a party of 16 in total. With such large bookings things can go a bit downhill but that was not the case at Meherin. The service was faultless, constantly offering new drinks and checking that everything is ok. The food arrived in a timely manner, which can be tricky with large bookings, but the restaurant and the kitchen is clearly very well managed. On top of that the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

If you fancy waiting 1.45hrs for your starters than this is the place for you! Oh and if you complain to the manager after being ignored for 1,5 hrs he starts arguing in front of the whole restaurant. Very embarrassing for him. Perhaps he should start hiring plenty of staff so he can actually run his restaurant properly. First and last time here. What a joke.

awful - whole atmosphere very uncomfortable old Italian bloke was shouting very aggressively towards two young waitresses who proceeded to cry. I’m going to be generous and say the food was “ok” the service and attitude however was not. We were booked in for a 5:30 dinner and it was explained that they needed the table back at 7:15, changed at the last minute from 7:30 because our party had a wheelchair and that apparently meant more time was needed to put a chair back. ANYWAY. Because we were a big party we were asked to preorder, which we did no problem. However on arrival we then sat waiting over 30minutes before the starters arrived so we were pretty much down to 1:15 hours to eat two pre booked courses. At the end of the meal we were handed dessert menus and we ordered the children ice creams. As the waitress was coming to take the other dessert orders another waiter came over. Grabbing the menus from our hands saying “no! You need to leave”. It was so rude and so abrupt I was in shock, I think the waitress was too. I understand that we had a time slot but that was NOT the way to handle it! We left the restaurant as quickly as we could, especially as we now had two crying children who had just ordered ice cream to be told they now weren’t having it. As we were leaving the other table were waiting by the door for us to leave so it was pretty chaotic. I understand restaurants like to turn tables, but maybe in future don’t book so close together and maybe if you are giving tables a tight timescale, don’t take 30 minutes to serve pre ordered food.

Great food & service! We came here for Valentine’s Day and it was really lovely. The staff were great and the food came out pretty quickly. I went for the gnocchi and my partner got the spagbol, which were both amazing. We also got the lemon cheesecake for dessert, which I highly recommend.

We chose this venue for a family 50th birthday celebration for 16 people last night having never dined here before. From booking, right through to the final bill everything was exceptional. Friendly staff, great service, great food and sensible pricing. Even going the extra mile to accommodate the odd daft requests, like “can you please put a candle in birthdays girls salmon starter?” 😆 You have definitely gained some new regulars here. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you. ✅

Arrived and seated within seconds gentle staff when approached, seated and began to order. The chefs was stood waiting to cook as no one was in the restaurant when we arrived at 1845pm-1930pm. £28.50 for a fillet steak, myself had the cheese sauce and truffle chips (+£3) my partner had £28.50 for a fillet with the peppercorn sauce. The piece of meat was a nice piece it lacked a lot of seasoning and the sauce is far to much it covers most of the plate. We had BBQ ribs which was tender as a starter but the garlic bread we had was returned immediately, it was far too greasy covered in oil and not cooked fully. But they did take it from the bill. We won’t be returning, it wasn’t the best. £79.25 was for the full meal and a soft drink each.

Half a slice of tomato on a stale piece of bread with dressing drippled over is not a bruschetta. The bread was not grilled or toasted couldn't even get the basics right. Pizza had a soggy bottom, Steak was overcooked. All the food wasn't hot.. warm at best. Drinks I asked for a coke which came like rola cola flat and flavourless, swapped for Lemonade which tasted like water very poor. When asked how the food was staff didn't apologise just seemed shocked and walked off, then there was a odd vibe from the other staff members (probably owner) just felt awkward and couldn't wait to leave. Went for a romantic meal with the wife couldn't hear myself think it was so loud in there, music booming, even the lights flashing.. it is supposed to be a restaurant not a nightclub, kids screaming at 20:00, climbing all over the chairs! Even the local taxi driver said we should have gone to Rico's instead.. loads of other nice Italians in and around Blackpool. Ruined our Anniversary meal. Very Disappointing, avoid! We paid in full as I don't like confrontation and made a hasty exit, won't be returning.

Having lived close by for many years, my girlfriend and I thought we'd finally give Benvenuti a go. We ordered two Margherita pizza's to go, and the order came with an additional garlic bread with cheese. And we were very impressed! A lovely tomato sauce on the pizza's, not overly sweet, and was covered in lot's of cheese too. The dough has gone through a fermentation process too, giving it a light and bubbly texture. We'll be definitely coming back in the future to try other items from their menu. Grazie!

This was very good. Decent coffee (surprisingly hard to find nearby) and a very interesting and enjoyable take on Bloody Mary. The food is brunch/sandwich/tater tots with things on top orientated, and well done. Bahn mi was a creditable version - maybe the baguette wasn’t your typical Viet one and maybe the carrots were chunky, but it was really well balanced and very tasty (and actually very good value for money). Pastries were also really good, and there was a very happy buzz about the place. Of the three of us, I don’t like eggs and one doesn’t like anything remotely chili hot, so that does cut choice down quite a lot, but I’d be back quick as a shot. That said, we all loved what we had and it’s absolutely worth a trip. You can eat really good stuff here watching everyone going to the pub over the road for their (I say from experience!) poor quality Sunday lunch feeling happy that you’ve found somewhere much, much better.

The Carousel is located off the main high street in Cleveleys, and is bigger than it first seems. The main dining area is clean but dated, which is exactly what you'd expect for Cleveleys. I ordered Breakfast No. 4, which is as pictured: one jumbo sausage, fried bread, toast, beans, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, a fried egg, black pudding, and two rashers of bacon. The quality of many of these products is questionable - customers should be given a choice between tinned tomatoes or whole tomatoes. I personally found these tinned tomatoes to be mush, like overly sweet tomato puree. My only other complaint about the food is that it was overly greasy. Service was fine, and my dining companions were satisfied with their meals. It was not badly priced.

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. A lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. First impressions were it looked clean and tidy. A fairly extensive menu with a good range of options. Staff were pleasant and friendly. I went with the Mixed Grill at £19.95. My fellow diner went with the Fish and Chip Special at £12.50. You get fish, chips, peas, slice of bread and butter and a pot of tea. So prices were pretty reasonable. The Mixed Grill was huge. I couldn’t finish it. So no complaints about quantity but being honest it wasn’t the best quality. Some of the meat was a bit tough and definitely didn’t care for the sausage. However, the chips were good and someone knows how to fry an egg properly. Overall no complaints about our visit here. It was okay, a run of the mill dining experience. However, there was nothing special or different about it that would have us rushing back to eat here again.

This included, Staff curry, chicken Buhna, veg kofta for me and pindi chole, butter chicken and Chettinad Prawns. Sides : Pilau rice and garlic nan Overall comment: The decor and ambience of Dalvees is decent, with excellent service. I particularly liked the fact the owner Seema came out and asked how the food was and chatted to us for a short time. I have to say it is not like a traditional Indian. The flavours are much better and come served with additional chilli paste if you like it hotter. The 3 dishes were all very good and flavoursome in Thier own right and enough quantity. The only downside for me was the size of the garlic naan. Needs to be bigger. Also great to see the menu changes 4 weekly. Nice touch. Definitely recommend if you're in Poulton. Cost with 4 pints £77

Went for our anniversary last night and what an amazing place. I’m a big foodie, so was really looking forward to it from the reviews. I was so happy to find they were all right, the food was outstanding and really enjoyed the combination of flavours. I normally love meat dishes more, but found myself loving the vegetarian dishes more. We will definitely be back.

I visited here last week when visiting my family in Poulton. They had been recommended Dalvees before and we were not disappointed! This food is some of the tastiest, authentic and well presented Asian food I have had, and it is no surprise it won top 100 Asian restaurants in the UK. The decor is very vibrant and colourful, with some original furniture dotted around the place. The menu is fairly small which is different to most Asian restaurants, but it meant that we knew every dish was going to be exceptional. I went for the prawn starter and platter for main, and wow! What a eclectic mix of tastes and textures - i could tell the chef was passionate about what they did, just from the taste. I left it up to the chef to decide which curries to give me and I had a mix of lamb, chicken, and veg, with a spice pot to make it as spicy as I wanted, which was a nice touch. My dad is also gluten free, and so its very difficult for him to find an Asian restaurant that caters to him, but they catered to him amazingly well and he really enjoyed his meal too. To top it off, the owner and chef Seema Dalvi came out to chat with us afterwards and took such pride in her work which was really lovely to see. Overall, we had a really lovely evening with some very tasty food. I cannot recommend this place enough if youre looking for an authentic, tasty Indian with a relaxed vibe. Thank you Seema ❤️

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt really disappointed after hearing such good things about this place. My party of 7–8 only ordered mains (no starters) and we ended up waiting almost 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive. I appreciate that the food is cooked fresh, which is a positive, but honestly that wait time felt far too long. Smaller parties who arrived after us were served much quicker and even left before our meals arrived, which didn’t seem fair, surely it should be first come, first served regardless of party size? By the time the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. I ordered the butter chicken and only received four small pieces of chicken. The portion sizes overall felt far too small for the price. I had water only (no alcohol) and still paid £25 for a curry, chips, and naan. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the cost, the chicken in particular tasted cheap, and I actually left the restaurant still hungry, which never happens at my usual Indian restaurant. On top of this, service was lacking. I had to remind the waiter just for a glass of water, despite the restaurant not being very busy, and nobody came to check if we enjoyed our meals. For me, that’s just basic customer service. Overall, I left disappointed, though I genuinely wish the business every success, perhaps I just caught it on a bad night.

I’m sorry to say this was the worst Indian food I have ever had and I have had hundreds. Gobsmacked as the reviews I read are why I chose it. Disappointed there was very little on the menu so went for a tripple curry pot with chicken. Curry was like gravy, no heat no spice all 3 very watery. But the worst was the chicken, skin left on, absolutely disgusting, left nearly all of it. Naan bread more like chapati and boiled rice as only 3 options. Totally yuck and £30 for just one!!!!!! The upside the young lady serving was very good and polite, thankyou.

We had a beautiful meal with top class service on Saturday. I was a fantastic atmosphere, brilliant and authentic food that was out of this world. Cooked fresh and to a bespoke spice for every guest (with options to add extra heat if wanted), the flavours were insane! We will most certainly be back. We loved it so much so… we bought your book to learn more and that’s full of hints and tips too! Thank you for a wonderful evening and such attentive staff! A recipe for Afghan chicken is all that’s missing from the book ;) Highly recommend the tasting platter too to try lots of hits from the menu!

Superb from start to finish. The warm welcome, the sublime food, authentic Indian with a menu that changes every four weeks! You can choose your spice level too. Everything is cooked fresh. Wonderful atmosphere and the owner/chef came out to us to ask how our meal was. A lovely touch. Prices are reasonable, staff delightful, We were a party of 8 friends and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful and the whole experience. One of the BEST Indian meals I've ever had. It's taken me a while to get here but we will certainly be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This modern Thai restaurant is perfect for a casual night out. The food is fantastic, with great flavours and values for money, and the service is always spot on. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it the perfect place to enjoy a night in with friends.
Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent mixed starters and soup, main course I had ordered lacked a bit of a spicy kick, but as I learnt from going back for the second time, they cater to making it to your taste if you ask! Great evening out!!

We were a group of 8- looking for a Thai restaurant near by to enjoy a nice dinner .Reviews were good so we decided to book a table. The comments we had read earlier were spot on. We found the service at this family run business exceptional. They were helpful and made us feel at home. The starters were lovely and went done well with some Chang beer! My wife and I then had a green Thai curry and a red Thai curry. We both agreed they were the best Thai curries we had ever had! Absolutely amazing food. The best Thai food I have ever eaten by far. Everything was so tasty and the Tom yum soup was to die for my salt and pepper obsessed mum didn’t even season it lol. Services was great. Great hospitality over all with friendly staff and efficient service. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

GlassHouse Cocktail Bar is a cozy and welcoming spot with a great menu offering plenty of options, from starters to main meals. The burgers are particularly recommended for their juicy and flavorful patties. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. It's also an ideal venue for special occasions like birthdays, with the flexibility to decorate tables and excellent service. While the music from downstairs can be loud at times, the overall atmosphere is fantastic, especially during entertainment events.
Whilst visiting the area, we popped in on the off chance of a table. We are so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and sorted us a table. There was a great choice on the menu. Plenty of starters, small plates and main meals. The burgers we ordered were fab. Full of flavour and a good size. The beef patty was not overcooked too which meant it was juicy and so tasty. The food and service was really good. Worth a visit

The glasshouse hosted my 30th surprise birthday party and although the time keeping for the venue caused a little stress beforehand. Olivia who was hosting most of the day went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. She was just brilliant from start to finish and you are very lucky to have her. Thank you for a great day.

A rather terrible experience, the atmosphere was non existent, the food was poor and the staff were invisible, I would like to clarify I was here for my mother's 53 birthday. We arrived at 6:45 slightly later than the rest of the party, there starter had already been ordered, 15mins in at the server showed her face to order our drinks,a10mins after that the drinks came and they proceeded to take our food order, I ordered the vodka smoked haddock with a pea risotto, 30-40 mins after we arrived there starters appeared, 30mins after that the mains came to the table. I shall start with the staff, they decided that on a Saturday evening the brightest idea would be to only have 2 young members of staff working, whose priorities lied less on customer satisfaction and more on chatting, being slow and disinterested. Attached Is a picture of my meal, I would have named it rice haddock and peas with a deep fried chunk off fish being used as a top hat. I have to say the fish within the risotto was very nice no real sense of vodka bit nice all the same. That however was the only upside personally I would have done the pea puree, risotto and haddock all presented separately and gotton rid of the fish hat. There were bits of risotto that were undercooked and some of the peas were burnt and some were undercooked, I am just flabbergasted as to how that is possible with pea that are more than likely frozen. After the meal we arranged to have a cake delivered so we could sing happy birthday and the staff forgot all about, it's 2 hours off my life I will never get back and all I can do is warn others off this experience and tell them to go elsewhere. Upon reading the reply from the restaurant I would like to clarify something, it wasn't me who complained at the end of meal as I left early to not cause a scene, I didn't eat all of the meal, it wasn't me who was "intimidating" the young employee, i left £45 for 2 meals and 2 drinks so even though I didn't enjoy it I still paid the full amount and if only £70 was left I paid over half of that amount, as a result of me voicing my opinion online I have been banned from the restaurant under false pretences and mistaken identity. No apology, no form of communication just a straight up ban if this is the level of customer service then I'm not sure if I want to go back.

Recently had my sons 21st birthday here . We were able to go in during the day to decorate the tables how we liked. Food was amazing and can't fault a thing. Service was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and it was a really great evening. Would highly recommend!

Visited on 10.02.2019 with my daughter and her family, and I have to say we had a fantastic experience. The staff are really lovely, very accommodating, and the food was superb, cooked to perfection, and fairly priced. The atmosphere was really nice. Also, toddlers eat for free - which given the quality of the food on offer is excellent. I'm so pleased to have found this place and I will definitely be visiting again soon. Huge thank you to all the staff.
