Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Trinidad and Tobago

Normally Monday's are hard to find somewhere to celebrate a birthday as most places are closed. So it was a blessing that they were open and ready. Opening on a Monday also means that there weren't a lot of people, so we probably got a more personalized experience with little to no delays. We weren't sure of what to expect so we got the servers recommendations. I had the lamb and my birthday date had the pork chop. The lamb was cooked perfectly medium-well as I requested, the veggies were cooked yet crunchy and the mash was creamy and smooth. Tamarind wine sauce was just succulent. My date loved the pork chop, it was fully cooked and juicy. She wasn't a fan of the large cut veggies, but she loved the roasted cassava and whatever white sauce they added. We weren't in a alcohol mood so we got 2 virgin passion fruit & lychee mojitos. They were sweet and tangy. We still had some room after dinner so we got the house recommended dessert, passion fruit cheesecake with berries. We were amazed at how delicious this was and loved it. All in all, I will definitely be back for a full dinner course sometime soon.

The experience was a letdown from start to finish. This spot sits on a lively strip with plenty of solid options, and we chose it because it looked slightly less busy, which turned out to be the warning we missed. Staff were curt and disengaged, bordering on rude, and service felt like an afterthought. Four cocktails took more than 40 minutes to arrive. When they finally showed up, they came in plastic cups because last call was announced after we had already ordered. The drinks were mediocre and overpriced. The bill arrived long before the cocktails. The bar was far from full, there were plenty of staff standing around, and the level of attention would be unacceptable even at a fast-food counter. Save your time and money and pick literally anywhere else on this strip; this place has earned a hard pass. TL;DR: Overpriced, mediocre drinks, dismal service. Choose another venue on the strip.

I went with a party of 12 for their pre fixe Christmas dinner. Service was great, waiters and waitresses were kind, could be a little more attentive in some instances. The alcoholic drinks were good, but one person ordered the passion fruit juice and it tasted like flavoured water. The sorrel spritzer that came with the menu, also was also water down. Couldn’t taste the sorrel nor the alcohol that was in it, too much ice. The food was okay, to start I had the salad which tasted great with the candied dates and walnuts but the other appetizers like the chicken liver pate - did not taste anything like liver and the green pea lentil soup - was too thick and a bit cold when served. The main that I had was the brown sugar glazed ham and potatoes au gratin with vegetables. Ham and potatoes were perfect but the veggies were very undercooked, including the zucchini, broccolini and peppers - maybe this was the idea for it but it didn’t pair well with the other items on the plate. Dessert was as expected, perfect end of the dinner. I got the chocolate mousse with buttercream. (I think it was butter scotch? I can’t remember) I also had an amaretto sour which was mixed well, drank that throughout my meal. 8/10 recommend for the Christmas menu, cannot comment on their regular menu items.

Talk about up to the times with the decor! Chaud Cafe had the scene set for the holiday with themed drinks and menu items to match. Even the washrooms, pristine and ckassy, were a vibe. Staff were so eager to please there were a few crossed lines but ultimately sorted quickly. We weren't able to enjoy the wide outside deck but they even maneuvered the inside space, made cosy due to rainy weather and a healthy number of diners. I loved that the menu was full of Caribbean flavours and favs and dishes did not take forever to arrive. A lottle pricy but altogether a lovely experience.

The food at Chaud is always amazing, and the portion sizes are more than adequate. I would highly recommend the pasta as well as the wings, which paired superbly with the blue cheese. There is also a decent drinks selection. However, desserts are a bit limited.

Celebrated my friends bday here. Our entrees were plentiful & delicious. A few times, we had to get the attention of the wait staff or make a request for the same thing more than once. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

Friendly (but slow) service and good ambience. However, almost everyone's food arrived cold and everything tasted average. The chocolate cake is supposed to be excellent, but it wasn't available that day.

It's been too long overdue since I was meant to write this so here goes. Buzo has never actually let me down. It is the one Italian restaurant in Trinidad that culminates both strong and subtle flavors. When I lived in Trinidad it would be a once a month minimum takeout or go to restaurant as their mushroom pastas, pizzas in addition to even their steak was always exceptionally crafted and delicious. Highly recommend trying the Vigna pizza which cheerfully balances the blue cheese flavor profile with grape and their original Buzo pizza as well. Can't wait to visit again!

Went for my mother’s birthday. My parents and fiancé had the steak and it was the best steak they’ve had locally. I myself am vegetarian and had the tempura portobello mushrooms which were amazing and the ravioli which was so rich. Our waitress was most accommodating, friendly and service on point. The infrastructure itself is modern/rustic and so beautiful.

The Best Italian Cuisine in Port of Spain! This is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Port of Spain! The food is consistently outstanding, especially their pastas and pizzas. One standout dish is their pasta with mushrooms and cream—it’s rich, and flavour! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it ideal for various occasions, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a casual outing with colleagues, or a special celebration. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth the splurge. Recommendation: The service, although friendly and professional, can be a bit slow at times. If they could streamline this, it would elevate the dining experience even further. Pro tip: Make a reservation to secure your spot, especially during peak hours, as it’s a popular choice for both locals and visitors. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a touch of sophistication, this is the place to be!

Buzo is fine dining. The staff is so polite and well-trained. The food is delicious. However, no matter how many dishes I try, my favorite is the Buzo pizza. Im not sure if its their signature dish, but WOW. It's a flat dough pizza without tomato paste, yet smothered in goat cheese and argula leaves. I can eat the whole thing. Lol. The staff actually listens to your needs and can cater to fussy teenagers. One of mine wanted Chicken Alfredo, which was not on the menu, and the chef prepared it. That's great service. I will definitely go back. And I recommend Buzo to everyone who wants a great food experience. Ohhhhh I forgot their desserts. We tried Gelato and affogato. Decadent 🍧🍨🍦🍦

Had my birthday dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night. The food was good, but not amazing. Beautiful ambiance, very friendly and engaging staff.

Above expectations! Went for my birthday. The menu was not pages long but very complete for any preference in Italian food or meats/steaks. Pricing was a bit on the high side especially for steaks. But note the food tastes great. Having eaten at lots of Italian restaurants globally this is top 10 category so hence you get what you pay for. There’s roadside parking plus their own parking lot a few doors down. There’s security at the lot and also among the street for your safety. Big plus on this. The service was not exceptional though. 1 waiter was excellent while another was seemingly forced to be tolerant to us. Lots of waiters and waitresses so you can call on anyone, not just the initial one. Asked where the bathroom was and was guided directly to it. The decor and atmosphere is perfect. Not overdone but elegant and well thought out. Someone had a 2 or 3 year old there and not a peep from the kid. Attentive parents though. Must go for the food, ambience and an overall great experience!

This is one hell of a great great experience. You will not regret your time going there! From the moment that you walk in, you are greeted in a personal, friendly, warm, welcoming manner by the hostess and wait-staff. I was politely guided to my table and the menu provided for me, within a few minutes later I was attended to by my server who asked what I would like to drink and brought me back a drink with Jack Daniels honey that tasted so good I already did not mind spending the money that I knew I was going to spend yet to come. After a few sips, our server returned and asked if we were ready to order our dishes. He was very, very helpful in his suggestion and showed that he understood the menu and had great experience that could be relied upon coming to any new food establishment. When our dishes arrived I was so satisfied with the visual aspect of it that I already felt anticipation building for the taste, and what great wonderful Symphony of taste it was (view pictures). I have absolutely only good review and praise for the preparation of the of the two dishes the taste and textures were Worthy of absolutely every Star that I can give them and I promised myself that I (we) will be back to try yet even more dishes at Buzo. Probably the most beautiful restaurant we'd ever been to. We went during low season so it was quite empty. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The food was good. We didn't like the lamb skewers much. Seemed undercooked and was chewy. I had the fried fish which tasted great with a very flavourful batter. My wife had the grilled fish and a watermelon-based side. The portions were all fine dining sized. Luckily we had a heavy lunch earlier. The service was very very friendly and the waiter was nice enough to take photos of us. What was disappointing was that I had asked for the side of the fried fish to be replaced because I had an intolerance to some of the ingredients. Since roasted vegetables were a side on the menu, I asked if that could be the replacement. I was told yes but when we got the bill, we were charged separately for the side of vegetables without getting a discount for the side in my mains being removed. At a fine dining-like place we didn't expect to be charged separately.

I had an amazing dinner on my own tonight. Food was absolutely delicious, location and staff super welcoming.

Came with a reunion group (40 of us from various Caribbean islands, US and Canada). Ordered mostly fish or chicken with sides of fried rice, breadfruit casserole, stewed beans, veggies. Everything was delicious, all agreed. Service was great. Right on the ocean in a rustic setting. We had a reservation and ordered ahead (recommended). Highly recommend that you make the trip to Speyside to sample the food. Thank you Jemma

It is very tasty, and it is a tree house. Quite expensive but worth trying. Would need to save up, but it would be great to try the lobster. We could not finish the meal, so they boxed up the leftovers to take away. They accept UK credit cards

The drive was well worth it. The scenery is very calming and the breadfruit pie and cucumber salad were unique and delightful. You can easy cover a meal and take dip in the sea right next to the property. You even get one or two birds coming in to keep you company. A great little place for a unique Tobago flavour.

Beautiful views and authentic homecooked trinbagonian dishes served up in a rustic "treehouse" overlooking beautiful views of the sea. Family style meals - order your main/protein and they take care of the rest! Fried rice, callalloo, pies.. all the sides are brought to your table. While some of the food we found to be a bit under seasoned and lacking flavour, the pies definitely did not disappoint and I'd go back just for those! One of the best mac pies I've ever had and cassava pie was amazing! Apparently the breadfruit pie is the real star here and unfortunately it wasn't available when we came, but we weren't let down given how good the other 2 were. Service was friendly and the view were stunning. We listened to the waves and watched pelicans fishing as we waited for our meal, and we would have gone for a swim if the weather was a bit nicer. Overall a great spot to have some local cuisine with a beautiful backdrop, and definitely worth a stop if you come by this side of the island!

Great place for lunch. Best time to enjoy the sea view in this tree house restaurant. Good value local dishes with meals including several sides. Fish and chicken were nice and the lobster ordered by other tables looked amazing.

Real Creole food! So good you’d want to lick the plate! The customer service was really good as well and for food being cooked to order on the spot they bring the food in a good timing. Loved our experience here! Be sure to include on your visit to Tobago! Well worth it!

Had the coconut cheesecake here years ago and went back recently for lunch. Hands down the best food I had in Tobago, and the cheesecake still ranks as my #1. Service and ambience is excellent.

We enjoyed out night here. The food is top tier and worthy of prestigious food awards. For appetizers we had callaloo soup & jerk fish with plantains. Main courses were the Barrel eye fish with creole sauce and Barracuda fish with butter & garlic sauce. Both served with ochra rice and seasonal vegetables. For dessert we shared cheese caked topped with coconut flakes...yum. The portions were more than enough. $200 US for a party of 3 that also includes drinks. 2/3 had Stag Beers while the other opted for juice. Our host of the night who we believe to be the owner (we didn't ask) was attentive and very pleasant. She was also accommodating and entertaining. That same energy was shared with other guests as well. We shall return.

Our last lunch in Tobago at The Fish Pot was the perfect send-off! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first bite of their freshly prepared hamburgers, we knew we were in for something special. The fish with pasta, topped with an unforgettable alfredo sauce, was a highlight – genuinely a "best I've tasted" moment. The service was a joy, attentive without being intrusive, and the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by the gentle sea breeze, made for an idyllic lunch setting. I had such a wonderful lunch with my husband. Customer service was top notch. It was spotlessly clean and well aerated , with a pleasant view. Staff came on to check on us if we needed anything. The food was well presented and delicious . Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, my wife and I came here based off of a recommendation from my sister. I had the barracuda & my wife had the steak. Hands down some of the best food in Tobago.

Quaint place. The staff is engaging and friendly. It has an open feeling with a clear view of the outdoors. The food is quite good with reasonable portions.

Whenever I come to Tobago, I make it a point to come to Kariwak at least for breakfast. The home made yogurt and fried fish with toast are my favorites and their cocoa tea is simply the BEST. Also, if you’re looking to have a solo retreat in nature but want to be steps away from the action in Crown Point, I highly recommend their garden rooms, which are quiet and put you in direct contact with the plants. The free yoga offering is a nice touch and the staff are all really lovely humans. It’s a 5 - 10 minute walk from the airport and about a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants in Crown Point so there’s no real need to rent a car unless you want to explore further afield.

We visited this charming little spot twice, first for early evening drinks, which were excellent. We returned the next day for breakfast, which was just okay, with the portions on the smaller side, though the service was good. All in all, we’d definitely return for drinks and would be open to trying lunch or dinner. The space is beautiful, so we’re also curious to see what the rooms are like, it may make for an interesting stay. They take cards and cash.

A beautiful Oasis in the midst of a commercial tourist hub. Rooms have a great balance of rustic and more standard hotel room fittings. The grounds are beautiful and give an island comfort. The restaurant has great ambience, the dinner menu wasn't intimidating but quite encouraging. The Fish meal we had was quite delicious, simple but well put together ingredients. The Iced Tea is a must try! The slice of Spice Cake was also very pleasant. My only complaint was that the meal was too expensive especially considering portion sizes. Feeling like I was being made to pay for the ambience and brand of the establishment.

Thee best costumer service , I arrived early at 1030am, check in was at 2pm and they had the room ready for me at 1055am . Really good complimentary breakfast , beautiful real wood huts , good wi fi and free yoga in the morning and free shuttles . 3rd time here and I will be back . Recommend to all thank you Kariwak.

We were very disappointed by our experience. We had first booked a trip on Expedia in April but had to postpone as I got sick. We were able to get all other bookings rescheduled free of cost but this wasn't possible at Kariwak as it was through Expedia. We contacted them to see if we could get a discounted rebooking directly. They offered a very small discount for our trip in May. We ended up booking the stay. When we arrived we were disappointed that they weren't even able to give us the Garden room which we had first booked for in April. When your hotel is mostly empty, it would have been a good gesture to offer the better room for guests who had paid twice. Not necessary but a good gesture. The hospitality at the hotel seemed very fake and not welcoming. Like nobody actually wanted to work there. Our experience only got worse after. While the room and surroundings were beautiful, places where they cost cut were very visible to see. 1. They don't have shampoo offered in the rooms. When we asked for it, they only said that they never give shampoo. In a beach town, you need shampoo, especially when you have a pool in the hotel. 2. What's even worse is that they only give you free water bottles when you check in. Not for any other day you've booked. I've never seen that practice anywhere else. 3. Their "free" breakfast was sooo bad. The crispy tuna was bland and then there's toast and some yoghurt+granola. No variety, no self-serve option. For the amount you pay, it's not worth it. 4. They don't have free coffee sachets in the rooms. And the last thing that really annoyed us was that they have this ledge above the bed that stops you from sitting up in bed. We whacked our heads on it multiple times when we were going to lie down. It's a health hazard. Overall, it's just better to book a stay in an apartment nearby than spend to stay here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kariwak. The location is quite convenient to the Airport, the beach and other restaurants and businesses. Kariwak also offers shuttle service to the beach. Kariwak is very beautiful both in the rooms and outside. The AC was very powerful, rooms were clean and no complaints with the water pressure. Outside was very relaxing, beautiful for taking pictures or relaxing by the pool or jacuzzi. They also have yoga and massages. The customer service was excellent. From Ingrid who picked up my family and I at the Airport. Josh our handsome bartender who was quite accommodating for breakfast and lunch. A very special hats off to Joel the all rounder who made our stay even more memorable accommodating my niece on her special day, organizing the staff to sing Happy Birthday for her 😁. Thank you Kariwak, we'll definitely be back.

My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the compound was clean and well-kept. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the hotel not providing free teas and coffees in bedrooms because their prices are affordable and you can avail yourself to such items at the hotel restaurant for free. There is an area to relax in the garden with hammocks with the jacuzzi/pool nearby. The breakfast was decent, it included fish, eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt and granola. The only criticism I have is that the hotel staff DO NOT answer the telephone/landline. Despite this, the staff members that I encountered and met were super helpful, kind, welcoming and warm. They extended themselves to assist and accommodate us as best as they could. I would definitely return again.

My friends and I came here for a birthday lunch. We were the only persons in the restaurant yet the service was slow. The staff also needs to be more knowledgeable of their own menu - our waiter could not answer our questions without confusion. The lighting in the restaurant is extremely low and dim, making the atmosphere univiting rather than cozy / intimate. Two of us ordered a la carte while another person ordered from the prix fixe menu. The prix fixe menu was great value for money. Everything we ordered tasted great but the pizza was a little burnt on the bottom. Overall, the food is really good but service and atmosphere can be better. Side note - they are one of the few restaurants in Trinidad that don't give you anything for a birthday celebration

To say that this was a wonderful experience would be a gross understatement. Marvin, the restaurant manager was exceptionally professional, warm and truly charming. My affinity for their crockery resulted in a fabulous take home experience (wink wink). Keshon was a breath of fresh air. The ambience is so inviting and the food display is amazing. Who knew salads could look so enticing?!😩 The staff was very friendly & welcoming, and super helpful with suggestions especially as it was my 1st time. The experience was truly a pleasant one, so I'll definitely be back. I ordered Cornbread, Asian sticky ribs, Roasted butter corn and the Bacon mac & cheese. Delicious!👌🏾

A truly personalized and cozy experience. The food isn’t as pricey as others claimed but it’s definitely delicious. I like how they artfully prepared the dishes. Tastebuds were overwhelmed.

I love the set up and efficient service here. The salmon was perfectly done. The presentation (as you can see) is was very good. Staff was courteous and attentive.

The food is always delicious, service is exceptional. The market place always has some tasty bites be sure to try out the pizzas and fried chicken sandwich. The truffle pasta salad is the half eaten pasta as pictured it is really yummy but the price has raised lately. The mushroom pizza is always nice and there are frozen versions you can buy to reheat at home.

Packed up the lunch for us to go. Had been a birthday celebration and they put up a happy birthday banner. Was so impressed came back that same day for dinner.

Still, the quality and authenticity were undeniable. The drinks menu, particularly the wine selection, is impressive. The curated list complements the food beautifully and adds a touch of sophistication that elevates the dining experience. Overall: La Tartaruga blends Italian authenticity with Caribbean charm. It’s a place where you can enjoy excellent wine, great food, and a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. Did a wine tasting session here and there are no words. The wine was immaculate but the entire experience from start to end is a must-see and must-try for anyone visiting Tobago. This is what a taste of Italy feels like and the food, simple plates to go with each round of wine, was delicious 😋 I'll be visiting this restaurant whenever I am in Buccoo Tobago. It cannot and will not be a one and done. Too too good 😩😩😁

Our reservation was made to have lunch and the food was good, very tasty (Penne Alfredo and Penne Bolognese) and it was served at an optimal temperature (warm to - hot). Our wait time was about 8 minutes. In terms of drink, our waitress helped us through the selection and even allowed us to sample the wine of choice. Neither person at the table is a fan of red wine but the chosen wine was delectable and enjoyable. Can't remember exactly which wine it was but it was in the "By the Glass" section of the menu and I'm sure the waitress can guide you to a selection. Also, our waitress was respectful, kind, courteous and helpful, really cementing the experience as a class action in first experiences. P. S. The website has almost all the information and allows for booking via phone or WhatsApp, highly recommend you check it out before reserving or walking in. Additionally, the boardwalk as well as the ILoveBuccoo sign is in close proximity to the restaurant making for a scenic view of the greater Buccoo beach area. However, at the time we came for lunch some light maintenance being done around the restaurant and the sound of drilling not to far from our table often disrupted conversations. "But besides that everything was perfect, I loved it."

Nice Italian restaurant with good service, ambience and a decent wine list. We ordered the tomino grigliano, chicken alfredo, spinach cannelloni, and a tiramisu and enjoyed it all. We had bellinis to start and then a couple of herb teas at the end of the meal. Would recommend

The main course was delicious. But desert portions are definitely on the smaller side they were tiny with HUGE prices for teeny weeny portions, my desert was 75TTs and I got a singular scoop of icecream (without the normal extra half-ish scoop which hangs off the icecream scoop) 5 marshmallows (the tiny ones) and 2 oreos. Personally this was more toddler friendly than 5,7 sized. If you want to ask “is this it??? whilst crying” for desert then yes doo go. But if you’re looking for something on the smaller portioned size then the food would suit you as it was nice. It’s probably a me thing, I just like more than 3 mouthfuls of pudding.

Went for dinner with mum, dad and partner while visiting Tobago. Our server, Natasha was very attentive, friendly and professional. The food was spectacular and the chef personally comes to check on each meal and is charismatic and enthusiastic. Would recommend!

Think the idea of good cuisine in Tobago/Crown Point is admirable, and with some development, this place has the potential. However, the lack of communication between service and the kitchen, lack of ability to think with a client, and attentiveness makes me not recommend the restaurant, and that is unfortunate. To start positive, the food was beautifully made. The lamb was good. And unfortunately, there is a however. The way the staff communicated with us, which was basically telling us "no" instead of really checking with the kitchen and asking questions, was shameful. The lack of attentiveness when sitting outside was not necessary and could have led to selling more drinks, for instance. The lack of thinking with a client with allergies led to a waste of food, and that's not something I like. The mistakes were "fixed" but just unnecessary. Hopefully with development this restaurant makes it, it really has the potential. I get the challenges with getting supplies from Trinidad. But please communicate this with the client and before the client orders.

Brown Cow is a charming little spot that immediately feels warm and inviting. The space is small, yet it gives off a very homely and intimate atmosphere, accentuated by soft lighting, vines draped across the ceiling, and cozy wooden décor. The open layout makes it easy to feel part of the energy while still being able to enjoy a quiet evening. The menu is well-priced, making it an attractive choice for casual dining with the potential to grow into something more refined. The sushi was fair, rating about 5/10, with room for improvement in terms of freshness and presentation. The main courses were more satisfying, coming in at about 6/10, showing that the kitchen has promise and could evolve into a strong fine-dining option with some refinement. Service was friendly, and the ambiance makes you want to linger a little longer than expected. Brown Cow might not yet deliver the polish of a top-tier restaurant, but it certainly shows potential. With a little more attention to detail in the food execution, it could become a standout spot for both casual diners and those seeking something a bit more elevated. Verdict: A comfortable, well-priced restaurant with a warm, homely vibe. Worth trying now, and definitely one to watch as it grows.

My husband and I wanted to have a delicious dinner in a quiet restaurant close to our hotel in Crown Point. The Brown Cow restaurant exceeded our expectations with the taste of the food and the quality of the presentation. Very attentive service and we received a couple items on the house too. :-) For our entrees, we had the pistachio & herb crust lamb and the honey roasted geera pork belly. Both were delicious! The lamb was cooked to perfection, medium well as requested and the sauce, with a touch of sweet glaze on the side, complemented the taste of the lamb. It was served with sweet potato mash. Now on to the pork belly dish. I am a Filipina, and a properly crisp pork skin is what I’m looking for. The skin was crispy but not hard at all, and the pork was tender and delicious. The pork belly was immersed in a plate of polenta with plantain slices and a refreshing touch of cucumbers & a couple cocktail shrimps in the middle. Compliments to the Chef! The service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very pleasant dinner in beautiful Tobago. And the price range is quite reasonable for the excellent food and service. Rest rooms were very clean.

This place is such a gem!! While visiting Tobago for the first time I struggled to find more upscale dining at first. But I was so happy to find this restaurant! The lobster, the seafood soup, the lamb and the chocolate cake was out of this world!! The waitresses were so welcoming and friendly and took such great care of our group!! The food was so good that we came back for a second dinner here during our trip. The chef was so nice and came out to greet us. Simply amazing experience, I highly recommend Brown Cow, you will NOT be disappointed!! Compliments to the chef!!

We had a lovely experience at the Brown Cow. It has all the flavours and dishes of Tobago, beautifully packaged into fine dining. The Chicken Trio and the Dahseen creme brûlée were our particular favourites. My partner enjoyed the geera pork as well. Please do visit if you get a chance!

Excellent food and wonderful experience. The fish was very fresh and delicious. The seafood pepper pot delicious. The kids meals were perfect. The desserts were home made and delicious. And the Service was great and attentive. All in all a great experience and a nice indoor treat since most other restaurants in Tobago are outdoor. A great way to end our vacation in Tobago.

Best restaurant I have been to in Tobago so far! Best seafood soup I have ever had! The presentation of the food was spot on...as well as the sevice, atmosphere and quality! The food taste was a unique blend of french/cajun and local flavors! Perfect!

This is great restaurant with exzotic dishes love the taste and the presentation of the dishes. Why I give a (4) star rating because the order took to long to reach our table, beyond that great service and top of the line staff servicing to customer. Pricing of the food is very reasonable and I will be visiting this place often. It is definitely a place you want to visit once you in port of Spain.

We were running late for our reservation, but the hostess was very accommodating. The restaurant is tucked away long the savannah, so you're not bothered by passing traffic. The food was delish and more than enough. It may have been a slow night but the wait staff was very present, one of the owners even came to our table to check on the service and suggest wine pairing. While on the pricey side, its well worth it!

Good ambience with nice Indian food

Food is good but the night I went with my wife the service was slow and the guy messed up my order. Hopefully they will improve as it has a nice ambiance but you might be better off going downstairs to Aspara.

I'm from Thailand and I can say this place serves authentic Thai food! Beautiful Thai style interior. Food is decent. I had shrimp pad thai which is so yummy, good quality ingredients, fresh and BIG shrimps! Also highly recommend Breaded shrimp.

Food here was great! Came here every morning to get breakfast. We tried the bake and saltfish, bake and eggs, bake and smoked herring, corn soup, and their fresh juices. It’s also a quick walk from the Hyatt.

If you are a tourist staying at the Hyatt or one of the near by hotels (as I was..) do yourself a favor by skipping the overpriced buffet breakfast and heading over here for a taste of the local cuisine. Salted fish Oxtail stew Traditional sandwich in friend dough

The best local breakfast I get is at the Breakfast Shed. They make the bake on the spot along with the roti. The food is delicious and authentic. I highly recommend.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Only two of the vendors were open. But it was good food, local breakfast options, and a nice scenic view.

Just Had Lunch from Tants Gourmet. Excellent Price for portion and flavors to make you want to ask for secret ingredients. Stop in and have a great experience. Lunch is nice on the waterfront!

Visited Maracus as usual and figured I would try Richard's famous Bake n shark. The view is great of the beach, the selection of drinks amazing and even the guys helping with umberella chairs service is excellent. However, when it comes to the food, it was OK. Was not a big fan of the thick cut of shark stuffed in the bake. We dressed it well, but because the meat was so thick it took all the show but it had no flavors. They could have seasoned the shark more. Disappointed but next time, I will try something different. The chicken and fries was good.

Delicious experience! Bake & Shark with all the fixings. So good. A happy place & great place to people watch. Right on Maracas Bay Beach, too! The road to get to Richard's was a long & winding road. Fun time!

One of my main bucket list items when visiting Trinidad and Tobago for the first time was to have bake and shark, and was told that this place did it pretty well. It hit all the right spots, especially after a dip at the beach. The bake was crispy and fluffy, paired with the flaky fried shark, and different toppings of your choice. Also had some shrimp, and that was bangin 😎 Good vibes as well!

The OG Bake & Shark, Richards still holds their own among a sea of other b&s shops. While I definitely preferred some of the other shops over Richards, they still make a mean b&s and had the best bake from everywhere we tried. The shark was actually the let down here, pieces were small and breading/flavor missed the mark - soggy and not well seasoned. The stuffed aloo pie on the other hand was incredible! We got it with shrimp and would definitely be my go to order here! They have 2 sauce/topping stations which is nice as it can get quite busy. While I wouldn't say Richards holds the crown for the best b&s in maracas anymore, it's definitely worth it to try the OG and their stuffed aloo pies are worth the visit alone!

The bake and shark and king fish was 3/5 in taste. The salad and sauce options were terribly lacking 0/5. The salads were a few pieces of lettuce, few pieces of onions, cabbage and the pineapple and cucumber were stale and looked like it was from the day before. Then there were flies. There were one in the pink sauce and when I was eating flies surrounded us. In the other stalls , there are usually more salad and sauce options

Best tasting bake and shark imo. I wish they would have had someone standing by the condiment trays to assist, though, or at least have labels on the trays...I only smelt the heat in a green sauce (that I thought was chadon beni) AFTER I poured it on my and my young daughter's sandwiches! 🥵 🔥 Though I tried to rinse it off, she was unable to eat it, and I barely managed to eat mine. However, despite the pepper, it still tasted better than any I've ever tried. The fish itself was succulent and well seasoned.

My first time in Trinidad visiting family. I heard about this place and I wanted too try, along with having Shark for the first time. Let me tell you!!!! The view was amazing!!! The shark, was perfect, a new taste. I love how you can add your toppings too your sandwich. The fries where nice and crispy! Such a far price as well. I can't wait too revisit Trinidad and this well establishment. 💪😎🤘

The entire table with side dishes were stone cold, garlic bread hard as a crouton, mushrooms that are supposed to be eaten hot are like they are straight out the fridge, the meats were all seasoned the same so they tasted the same just different textures.. some had no salt while others were over salty like the ocean there was no inbetween, the only meat I will give as amazing is the bacon wrapped chicken. Good experience to go once, the atmosphere is very very very very nice with live music playing when i went and the service was impeccable however i will not be returning as I can get more flavor and higher quality food on the avenue.

There's a wide variety of side dishes and salads. The meat selection includes steak cuts, lamb, chicken and sausages. The customer service was excellent, the staff members were friendly and helpful. This restaurant is great for those that have a big appetite and can handle loads of meat being served in intervals sizzling off the grill. The drinks were also great and I loved their carrot cake. Definitely recommend for a birthday or special occasion. The restaurant week special was a steal of a deal.

Great ambience, great service, the food was delicious some meats are a bit salty but most were on point and cooked just how you prefer it. Servers were very polite and courteous. The chefs came out to ensure everything was to our liking. The drinks were also well made and the deserts are delicious. They were also very accommodating for kids. The prices are high, as to be expected of places of this caliber.

It was amazing 10/10 And in my opinion I didn't find some meats to taste to my liking but it was unbelievably great overall

Tonight is our last night in Trinidad, we decided to go eat at Texas De Brazil. We are here celebrating our anniversary. It was myself, my husband and our friend Sherwin. It was his first time so, you know, he was in for a treat. 🙂 From the moment, we walked in the door, we were given excellent service. The manager, Christian, came up to greet us and made sure we were ready to be seated. Once, at the table, our server Joseph was very kind, knowledgeable and served us promptly. He explained to Sherwin, how the process works and went to get our drink orders. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Christian is a true gentleman and assisted me with my plate and pulled out my chair. During the course of dinner our anniversary was mentioned and that it was our first time here. The service became even better. 🙂 We received Champagne and wonderful well wishes. They took wonderful care of us. Christian was so kind to give us a tour of Rizzoni's Italian restaurant below. It is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making our last night in Trinidad one of the best. 🙂

Staff are great - very attentive and courteous - and food was really good!

Upscale sports bar with a great atmosphere. It doubles as a cool dining spot if your looking for a tasty range of food as well. Reservations are always best, but they've always accommodated the "spur-of-moment" diner like myself, a few times. Notwithstanding the excellent taste, the food is a little pricey. I just wish they would play some Caribbean music, and that would make them the "near best" restaurant. It doesn't have to be so heavily skewed to foreign music. We have good music, too.

Great place to have a very nice burger in Port of Spain. And the location is also very convenient. Staff was very friendly, although service can take some time. I'm definitely going back!

I was looking for a good sports bar in Port of Spain to watch the Leverkusen vs. Munich match, and a friend recommended Trotters in the city center. It did not disappoint! The main giant screen was showing Liverpool vs. PSG, but all other matches were available on smaller screens strategically placed around the circular interior. The atmosphere was lively, perfect for game night. The pub food was solid, with standout starters—especially the shark bites, which were excellent. Definitely planning to return today for another match! Highly recommended for sports fans. ⚽🍻

The food was ok-ish. The Alfredo sauce doesn’t have that sourish zesty flavor that you’d get from pasta in a chain like Olive Garden etc, but the chicken was well done; no chewy bits. Decor and ambience was on point, minus the mosquitoes trying to eat me. I dined at night.

Great quality food just like I would make so definitely up to a good standard. Fantastic service the staff was accommodating, welcoming all in one. I went with friends. We got fresh food and juices. The nutmeg syrup was great and the Mexican style eggs I believe with salsa and cheese. Chocolate chip pancakes 👌. We went on a Sunday pretty close to closing time.

Really wonderful host Wayne, he was very kind and humble, so was the rest of the staff. They're open Thursday - Monday, so we caught them on their last open day on our trip, with Saturday and Sunday having a breakfast buffet as well. Now let's talk about the food! I had "The House Special", If you were wondering if these pancakes and waffles were as dry as some restaurants in Trinidad, they're not! This is easily one of the better pancake breakfasts I've had! All of the combos we had started us out with fruit first! There was this sampling of tomato, cucumber, and lettuce to ensure you have a complete meal, tasted like it was marinating, so it wasn't just plain cucumber and tomato chopped up. The Bacon was restaurant quality, scrambled eggs were on point, the pancakes ofcourse, were the perfect consistency, topped with some local bananas, i wanted to keep going but soon realized that my plate was empty, and everything had flavor! We will definitely be adding this to our "do again" list for Tobago

A little quaint home-in-the-middle-of-work type of setting, this restaurant was a great place to have Bago breakfast with a hint of international palate. Everything was cooked to perfection and the surprise was how well the different items tasted together. Another must-try when in the Trini Sister Isle of Tobago 💯

I went on a Sunday which was extremely busy and packed, however space opened up at a reasonable time so the wait wasn't unbearable. I tried the pineapple and coconut pancakes with eggs and sausage however, the pancakes we're a bit burnt at the bottom, everything else was good and the portion size was great, left satisfied overall.

Affordable, fresh and delicious! The service oriented disposition of the owners and the staff are the stars here, on equal weighting with the tasty, fresh food. My coconut bake wedges were light yet had enough body to hold the buljol. Some tend to fall apart or be too heavy- not this one! They were just 50g each and did not leave me with a heavy feeling after breakfast. The buljol was delicious. I wanted more! The fruit portion just right! If you’re interested the couple ensures all their non halal items are cooked separately.

The most unfriendly restaurant service on Tobago so far. You never know when it has opened as there doesn't seem to be any fixed opening times, or even days. Food is also a bit overpriced, considering that the service is so bad. The dishes are nothing special. You can get it anywhere else. The only thing that's a bit better are the side dishes, but you pay for that too. The location is great tho.

Small dining space but great tasting food with okay portions however there is a wait time as everything is made to order. It is also on the beach. I would like to be able to choose my side as some of them I didn't care for but overall the food was great. It was worth the drive.

Be prepared for a 1 hour drive but its worth it at the end. The food was great, esp the shrimp. The individual sides were small but you get a about 6 to 8 different sides and that makes it huge. There were some similqr tastes amongst the different items we bought, as a sweet thai sauce based garnish was used on both items we bought but that wasbt overpowering in any way. Generally the food was good, and will visit again for the shrimp. Would have skipped some of the sides though, and preferred more of what i liked, rather having all and no choice in that. I do know some people would like this.

The food is amazing and the portions are huge! A few things to remember though, each dish is prepared as you order so it will take a while to prepare, and this is a restaurant on the beach-not a beach restaurant. You have to follow the rules to be served. Get there early to minimize the wait.

Scrumptious food and friendly service! The Suckhole delivered some hands down mouth-watering lunch! We bought the fried chicken and fried fish (dolphin - not flipper): both accompanied by a range of sides which included ample servings of macaroni salad, fresh salad, steamed vegetables, a slice of watermelon, grilled eggplant, fried plantain, onion rings and fries. Despite the reviews I read about the 1 hour expected wait time I prepared my mind and belly for, we did not wait more than 30 minutes. There was seating available, however we opted to sit closer to the water to soak up the sun and the view. This place is a 'must visit' if you're in Charlotteville!

Long drive to Charlottesville must be rewarded. This place has really good food for the price but the service was horrendous. We waited about 30 mins for service and a further 90 mins to get the actual food. One lady was surving, cleaning and operating the bar as well as cleaning the dishes. Great food but poor service.

Small and pleasant restaurant serving caribbean and international foods. Good drinks menu too. Vegan burger was a good size and quality. The Fish broth and the seafood pasta also came as large portions so this place is good value for money

We were staying at the hotel attached and decided to eat dinner at the restaurant, worst decision of the holiday. We ordered catch of the day and a rib eye steak, medium along with a few cocktails. The steak arrived and was cooked so far past well done it was congratulations. The fish was unrecognisable as a once living animal, it tasted like a leather insole. Having sent it back and asked for it to be less incinerated, it arrived even more inedible. To add insult to injury, when we explained to the waitor about how we were disappointed with the meal, particularly the fish, the manager rushed over and decided to argue, explaining that because we're British we don't understand how to cook fish and only eat fish and chips... Overall a terrible restaurant with a condescending manager and jaded staff. No wonder the food is terrible with so little love poured into the place.

A big menu with a good selection of Cuban options. Also a lot of American options on the menu as well. We enjoyed our roti and burger. Nice atmosphere in an interesting tiered setup. Food came out very fast!

Beautiful rustic setting in the Bacolet area . Stayed fairly close to here and it was a great choice for pre dinner drinks and also evening mini-platter 1-2 hrs prior to dinner .

My friends and I visited in March 2024 to celebrate my birthday with a few drinks. We got there around 9.30pm and as we walked in no one came up to us. We were unsure of how to proceed as it was our first time. Eventually a lady told us to sit at a table and we would be served...I was told she is the owner but I am not sure. The waitresses were all sour and constantly repeated that they were closing at 10pm. So my friends and I hurriedly ordered our drinks. The drinks were good but the service was TERRIBLE! The waitress spilled a drink all over my husband and her apology was barely audible. We had just finished our round of drinks and were going to order a second round when one of the waitresses slapped the bill onto the table. Never did she ask if we needed anything else. Then and there we decided that we would NEVER patronize this place again. Tobago establishments need to learn how to be service oriented. These waitresses seem to be poorly trained - facial expressions were serious and unfriendly. It seems as if they don't realize that without customers they will not get a salary.

Café Havana is great place for any occasion! Nice atmosphere to dine inside and or patio dining. I would recommend to everyone visiting Tobago to visit Cafe Havana, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will be back!

Lovely scenic views. Fairly standard food but good vegetarian choices.

After hearing all the hype, I was excited to experience this restaurant. Upon entering, the ambiance was vineyard-like with an outdoor seating area. Once inside, more seating was available and evenly spaced. It was my first experience trying Sushi so I was skeptical and proceeded to ask the Server about Sushi... If it was indeed raw fish and instead of answering directly, he came across a bit snobby and that was uncalled for. I'm here to tell you that the Sushi is not RAW but rather SMOKED. The offerings from their TTRW Sushi Menu were delightful, however I did not like the Seaweed Salad. The Salmon was bland. The appetizers chosen were simply ok and the desserts were nothing special, Creme brulee was not torched. Wouldn't be returning for a long time.

My wife, daughter, and I went out for dinner. We tried their $150 special menu option. The food took a lot of time to arrive. My entrée arrived at the same time as the appetizer while my wife and daughter's entrées arrived much later. For dessert, we took 2 chocolate mousse to have there. We were given a soup spoon and a serving spoon to eat them with. The texture was extremely grainy and unappealing. They had no diet drink options and did not have passion fruit juice although it is on the menu. There was no mint, so we couldn't try the mocktails that used mint, nor could they make a virgin pina colada because they had no mix (we don't drink alcohol). No fresh juices either. Just orange and grapefruit juice available and grapefruit juice affects our medication so we can't have that. The only saving grace was that the appetizers were good.

Visited the avenue location for TTRW. Despite how full the place was it did not feel cramped or too noisy. I had reservations for inside dining but had to dine outside which was fine. Ambience and decor is not much to talk about. Our server was very friendly and personable. I ordered sushi as both entrée and main and it tasted good.

Went for TTWR. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed and it was a Friday evening... Was not terribly slow though, took about an hr from start to finish, which was what we expected.

I'm rarely in Port of Spain, but had cravings for sushi. The food was amazingly delicious! The restaurant was clean, crisp and inviting. The staff were absolutely the best! Big portions, deviously delicious and good price point. I'll definitely return. Car park too, so no worries about getting towed.

It was perfect. The sushi rolls was great size, you can distinguish the difference in each rolls taste. The appetizers was plentiful. The drinks isn't all that, it's weak and most of them are sour but overall great ambiance, lovely service. A bit pricey but otherwise great experience

We got lost looking for a restaurant and this pop in our view. This was my first time and my children second. It's a very quaint place. It looks big from the outside but beautiful when you walk in. The garden seating is just as beautiful, it gives you that zen style feeling. The service was great and food as well. We had the sushi and desserts it was truly yummy. They have a great tea selection as well. Happy food exploring.

Wow! What an absolute gem right on the shore! The Deck At The Shore offered a truly delightful dining experience for our lunch stop. The setting is wonderfully quaint, with the gentle sound of the waves providing the perfect backdrop. The menu had a fantastic selection, and we were so pleased with our choices. The flavorful fish broth was a wonderful start, and the fish burger with crispy fries was spot on. The grilled mahi mahi was a highlight, perfectly cooked and complemented beautifully by the callaloo and provisions – a real taste of Tobago! The fresh fruit juices were incredibly refreshing, the margarita perfectly mixed, and the ice cream a sweet treat. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely spot!

We came here for dinner, one veggie, one not. The place and atmosphere is very relaxing being right on the Atlantic coast, you can eat next to the sound of the tide rolling in and out. Plenty of food options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Service was fast and friendly. We had the veggie chilli, beef chilli, chef's salad without the smoked tuna to share, the cheesecake, carrot cake, fruit juice and a cocktail Pina colada. The food was great and came with small warm rolls with soft butter. The drinks were perfect too. There's a little shop in the front to buy Nik naks and a friendly tom cat. We will try to go back for breakfast and check out the onsite chocolate shop too. Definitely recommended!

Atlantic sea views to a delicious breakfast or lunch. Shore Things is part gift shop, part restaurant and part local chocolate shop. Whichever reason takes you there, make sure to end it with a slice of their coconut cream pie! I’d say it’s my favorite dessert on the entire island.

This is a magic place with the ocean breeze, the sound of the sea and the birds and a natural flavor of fruits and fish. You are thinking you are going just for a meal but you experience something unforgettable.

Update July 2023: Maybe it's different management or cooking staff but it is far too different now. For the price the portions are smaller and the menu has changed. Also we had to wait quite a while (not sure if it was due to being not Caucasian). Did not get that wow factor as the first visit. Also, the meals lost their home cooked feel. Don't think we would bother to return in the future. Original review July 2022: Really nice customer service and delicious. Shirley is a fantastic hostess and the ambiance is quite welcoming. We will be visiting in the future!

Simple food done well. Thoroughly enjoyable and fairly priced. Classy, local, yummy. The coconut cream pie is rightfully becoming famous. Will definitely be returning as often as we can. Bonus there is a chocolate shop on site! Definitely check it out!

Tried this spot based on the exceptional Google reviews this restaurant has received. Staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is a bit dated but that's okay - it can be argued that this is part of Tobago's laid back charm. Ordered the flamegrilled shrimp with vegetable ribbons and garlic bread. The food was perfectly average - it wasn't terrible, it wasn't spectacular. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile from Warren. The service was excellent 😌. Each dish was elegantly presented. The garlic shrimp 🍤 was pure culinary delight and the pan seared barracuda fish fillet 🎣 in garlic butter was most exquisite. Not forgetting the grape nut ice-cream🍨 and coconut cake🍰, which were absolutely divine. You really have to dine at EotR to experience and appreciate the chef's excellent culinary art form.

Easy to find on Buccoo Road. It's located upstairs pizza boys. There are stairs to the side of the building behind the Republic Bank atm. The stairs lead you directly to the porch of the restaurant. We had a 630pm reservation and we were a half an hour late. We called ahead and were still accommodated. It's indoor and outdoor seating. It's painted walls with an ocean theme and colorful tile flooring. Very Tobago lol. There were good food options. Varied meats and seafood. Wide selection of drinks. The chef was so detailed with the orders. He ensured my lamb chops were cooked to perfection. All our dishes were delicious, well-seasoned and plated beautifully. The chef and server were both attentive and engaging.

This space was very unexpected…in a good way. It felt hidden away in plain sight. The meal took a bit long to come out but nothing that a good conversation won’t get you through. After the meal came there was no more talk because everyone ate enjoying each morsel and appreciating the chef’s time and care. If you’re going here on a weekend at peak hours, my advice is to eat a small snack before. Tobago time has a mind of its own.

Firstly, the portion sizes extremely small for the price. The prices are high for the place. You would think it’s a classy restaurant but it like a country pub style but high prices and very small portion sizes. I was disappointed. I told management and it was excuses after excuses. One side was two table spoons of veggies for $45 TT. lol

Just had the most amazing food. Lobster, shrimp and fish combo, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection. The fish grilled over open fire - just delicious. Our best food on our trip so far, very worth the money! Great thank you to the chef.

I visited Trini and took the family out for a birthday celebration. We had the CCC service. Camille was exceptional; she helped us pick great meals as it was our 1st visit. The drinks were awesome.. let me tell you they don't hold back on liquor. My daughter enjoyed her fancy colored drink. Portions were good enough to share with 2 people.

First time in over 5 years and the food is still great. The people are still kind.

Valentine's Day 2025 was excellent! Food was on point as always; no other restaurant is this consistent in my opinion. So tasty and fresh. Upscale dining with a modern Caribbean twist - we visited for a birthday celebration. The menu is always creative, and presentation is beautiful. Service is polished and professional, making it perfect for special occasions.

Excellent service frm the staff. The food as well as the layout was also exceptional. We will make it our "Go To" place to celebrate any special occasion.

Back again for another 3 weeks in Castara. Sharon and her team consistently serve up amazing dishes, cocktails and the drums on Wednesday never fails to entertain. I can recommend the lion fish, not only does it taste good but you are helping the reef sustainability by eating it. Sunday pizza is always a winner. Share one between two and still have leftovers for a doggy bag. Best to book in advance so the kitchen can plan.

On Sunday very good and large home made pizzas. One is enough to share for a couple. Drummers night on wednesdays. We also tried their squid in coco/chili sauce with a big plate of different vegetables added. Excellent. Sharon & co does a good job.

We enjoyed the Boat House throughout our 7 night stay in Castara. Sharron is a wonderful owner. If you are in town Sunday night don’t miss Pizza Night! They are plentiful and wonderful. Let them know you are coming. We also did another night dinner here, We’d night- I had the the squid entree served in a garlic seasoned broth, which was excellent. Each of our group of 4 had different entrees which were fresh and nicely prepared. Like other restaurants in the area, entrees are served with a combination of a seasoned rice, some form of potatoes, some bean or pea variation, and here they were all wonderful. Cold beers and great rum cocktails or G&T’s are also excellent! They are right on the beach so you can’t get any closer to beach side dining. On Wed nights the bongo drums come out- they are truly talented musicians- and then the limbo completion starts- just a great time!!

We visited during lunch time, they had three types of meal - shrimps, squid and fried fish. We both went for the fish. We were told we need to wait for around 15 minutes as the food wasn't ready. The fish was very tasty and made fresh. Moreover, the owner brought us a pie for the waiting.

Fantastic place with the most tranquil vibe and beautiful view with private beach in front. Sharon is a wonderful host and her food is amazing! Best veggies on the island and also lovely home-cooked meals. We cam back on Sundays to try their pizza and it is huge! And delicious! My kids loved playing with the dogs and just exploring the beach. You can either walk up the steep hill or swim here.

A much better experience than More Vino. Tried their All You Can Eat Buffet on Tuesdays and the rolls were consistently good, for new menu items. Didn't like the tofu, it was bland. Would not recommend the brownie dessert though, it lacked body and depth of richness and flavor. Trotters brownie explosion is the best!

Visited the Movie Town branch and I didn't dine, I ordered to go and got the deal "3 rolls for $190". I got the tori tempura roll, oishi roll and another one but I forgot the name, it's basically salmon. The wait wasn't that long probably about 15 minutes. The rolls were okay, the oishi roll was the best because of the plantain in it, it added a little sweetness.

Falling in love with sushi over and over again is how I feel about this restaurant. With so many rolls to choose from, I get excited when viewing the menu. The rolls are perfectly concocted with the right mix of textures and flavors. I've ordered takeout before but the dine in experience is cool.

This was my first visit, and upon being seated was a bit sceptical about this place. There clearly is the need for a decor upgrade and the atmosphere was lacking. It was quiet with no ambient music so we were hearing all staff conversation in the background. The food though. Our expectations were low however everything we ordered was surprisingly tasty. May not return to dine but take out is a high possibility.

There has been an improvement in their quality and flavor over time. Presentation has also improved. Overall it's a good place for lunch or dinner with great desert options.

Last night we decided to take up Kaizan on their 'All you can eat' menu which was reasonably priced. First off the service was impeccable - well done. The menu had a few things that needed explaining and our server was very helpful. We ordered drink and starters, both of which came very quickly given the low traffic. Drinks were well balanced, the potato ball - delicious, but the chicken lollipop was sometimes a bit undercooked. I was a bit disappointed that there was no wasabi or ginger as I have come to expect these as standard when having sushi and to be honest, some of the rolls really needed that extra umph and palate cleanse to enjoy as we were mixing options. My first time eating conch and surprisingly it was not chewy. Kudos to them. The biggest disappointment was the serving sizes, I cut everything in half, lol. We had to re-order as soon as one came out - it just didn't make sense eating one potato ball (they should come in three's). Otherwise everything else was as it should be, so an overall good experience.

Was looking for food on New Years day and thankfully this place was open, so 5 stars just for that To top it off our server Cindy was top notch, we never had to look around for her, she was very attentive and kept checking on us, if I could give another 5 stars would go just to her! The food was delicious and satisfying for sure! I am visiting Trinidad and will definitely make this a must have anytime I am in the country! 👍👍🔥💯🇹🇹

The most wonderful moment I experienced in this place was the great atmosphere and scenery created. Gives you a euphoric sensation before having the food. It’s almost like a home. The food was really wonderful and very tasty. I was yearning to try a creole cuisine and this was definitely the right place. I had the oxtail dish together with some rice. The coconut bread which was brought as a starter was remarkably good; fresh bread. The service was great. The waitress who served me was good. Also there was an old lady who seemed to be running things there, she was very amiable and pleasant to talk with. If you are a visitor and you want to explore local Trinidad food, this is the right place. I would like to thank the owner of Veni Mange for creating this wonderful place to dine, it will forever be nostalgic to me.

I read so many good things about the place, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations after having read all those reviews. Food is basic, a little bland. The corn soup tasted more like yams soup. Poeple were very friendly and happy to help.

This must be my 3rd or 4th visit to this beautiful established restaurant on Ariapita Avenue the hub of the nightlife of Port of Spain ☺️ The food is always delicious and plentiful 😋and that's what makes it a staple, stable, inviting place in the country. Great creole food. "Sweet hand" cooks in the local parlance. Folksy experience. Bucolic experience in the middle of town. Owner- operator is lovely and goes out of her way to accommodate you. Sit and watch or order to go. Generous portions!

A beautiful location to host a small event, party or even wedding reception. If you're not living in the west, It can seem a bit of a far commute. The outdoor scenery is nice. I was very much impressed with the clean facilities each time and management is flexible. Indoor and outdoor dining available. One can certainly enjoy a peaceful visit. When it comes to the event space, It seems to be more of an average outdoor space with a lovely view. Parking is very comfortable and secure.

Overall a very good experience. Staff were friendly and the rooms are mostly comfortable. Most of the furniture are fairly low so they're good height for younger children as well.

I was there for a friend’s wedding and the entire stay was wonderful! Easy to check in, room was always cleaned, great view of the marina and mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful!

The entire staff was excellent BUT Kidane was exceptional. He is one of the BEST Front Desk personnel that has my welcomed my family in all of our worldly travels. He truly loves what he’s doing and does it with grace. He ls a great representation that any company would benefit vastly from.

Have stayed at Crews Inn Hotel many times, mostly as an overnight after an event. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is always good. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Needed to park here while going on a yacht charter. The parking situation is very unwieldy and confusing. You need to drive past the car park, get out your car, pay at the hotel reception which takes forever and then drive back to the car park. This process should really be streamlined.

The breakfast at the cafe was delicious. The view of the dock , boats, and northern range was beautiful.

Really good food. Great service. And my girl Nicole gave me the hospitality that only an island girl could provide. Very happy to have gone. Will definitely be back!!

During our visit to Trinidad, I found this gem on Google for brunch. My husband had the Breakfast combo with sausage and coffee 10 out of 10. I had the French toast, fried egg over medium, bacon with lime juice again 10 out of 10. Nicole was our waitress and was friendly and informative about the area. Definitely will visit again when I return to Port of Spain.

Atmosphere and service were good but the food was just ok. Eggs were wet and seemed like powdered eggs. Only 1 juice option (they didn't have oj). Syrup for French toast was watery. French toast was more white bread than French or toast. Asked for salt and black pepper to be added to the eggs in prep, server pointed to salt and black pepper on the table. We were excited to see oat pancakes were offered, only to find our that meant oats are added to flour pancakes. Breakfast potatoes were delicious while other dishes lacked taste.

One of the better breakfast places in the west. The menu is not exhaustive but you can get a meal that's filling and satisfying and has value for your dollars. Customer service is good. It's not a grand dining area but perfect for solo breakfast dates and for early Saturday mornings before errands 🙃

The grilled fish with potatoes and pineapple salsa, jumbo shrimp and baked camembert brie & toast, and bruschetta with roast peppers were impeccable. Coffee flavoured ice cream and red velvet cake for dessert. Off the charts! Compliments to the cook! It was an audible WOW with every morsel. Highly recommended.

It's a great place; it feels homey and friendly. The calamari was excellent, as well as the cocktails. Evening temperature is regulated by lots of trees, so it was an enjoyable evening for my wife and me. Music was great as well.

We went for lunch, it was lovely. The food was great, though a limited choice. A pork or shrimp option was offered, with the same side dishes for both. Service was prompt and friendly, and covid precautions were followed, make sure to have proof of your vaccine status.

Honestly such a warm and cosy place to relax! They were very courteous and friendly! Didn't get a chance to have their food but the drinks were great! They even offered insect repellant and a candle when the mosquitoes came out. Will always visit when I come Tobago.

Great place to have a night out dancing and drinking. From what I heard the drinks were decent, if you knew what to get. The DJ played some American music when he saw our group, but we had a good time. Vibes all around.

I have family both in Trinidad and tobago, the one place we go to start and end our night would always be here. The staff are friendly and funny. Drinks are worth what you pay as they don't measure shots and the food is pretty good for what your paying as 75tt got me BBQ chicken curry that was spiced and seasoned with a good tang. During the week it's quite quiet with a few people round the bar, some have a small dance but mostly its people eating. On Wednesday they do have a karaoke which is very fun. On weekends is when everyone comes out and the bar can get very busy but a lot of the crowd are good people and it's a great atmosphere.

On entry, Seahorse Restaurant and Bar immediately sets the tone for what feels like a high-class fine dining experience. The ambiance is undeniably beautiful — warm lighting, rustic wooden architecture, and dining under the stars with the soothing sound of waves in the background. It creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere that could rival top-tier coastal restaurants. Unfortunately, while the setting is outstanding, the dining experience itself did not live up to expectations. Service was mediocre, rating about 5/10, and felt inattentive compared to what one would expect from such a premium establishment. The appetizers were fair (6/10), but both the main courses (4/10) and desserts (5/10) were underwhelming, lacking refinement and consistency. The restaurant does offer a kids’ menu, which is a plus for families, but even here the attention to detail fell short — chipped plates were served, detracting from the overall dining experience. First time visiting the restaurant for dinner and it was a pleasure. Arrived and was promptly greeted and seated in less that 5 minutes. Beautiful ambiance, along with the sounds of sea waves gently crashing as the restaurant is adjacent to the beach. Nice selection of couples seating, children friendly as there were a couple families and even a large group dined. Seated on the upstairs veranda, a warm and cheerful young man was our server for the evening. Tho I can't remember his name, he was quite pleasant and informative on the menu and recommend the perfect cocktails. Food was on point and very timely. Quality and quantity of the appetizers and entrees were well enough that dessert had to be skipped this time. Surely not the last visit along will full recommendations.

Dined here after almost a decade abroad and it is still simply stunning. Fabulous location with the waves breaking in the background.. a seafood crepe so lovely it can bring a tear to your eye and a staff that remembers you by name! Oh and the wine list is almost as decadent as the opportunity to dine under the stars enjoying island breeze?! Yes Sea Horse Inn - you continue to be outstanding. An absolute must visit in Tobago. And the charm of the restaurant continues to beckon us to return… seriously, no matter how far away we may travel, Sea Horse Inn with its ambiance, staff and simply yummy menu - will always be home.

The food and ambiance was phenomenal. Wait staff were very pleasant although we felt rushed. We were constantly told the last order needed to be in the kitchen by 9:30pm. We were even asked to order desserts midway through the meal.

Food was decent. Better than most food places in Tobago but by global standards just above average. Service was good and friendly for the most part.

For food, we tried the pork wontons, the ODA and TSUKI sushi rolls, the SENSHI bowl, and the Teriyaki salmon. The highlights were definitely the pork wontons and the salmon as both were well-seasoned and flavorful. The TSUKI roll was great as well. Everything else was just okay. The shrimp in the Senshi bowl was quite rubbery, and the salmon surprisingly hit the table cold. If you prefer hot entrées, this might not be the best fit. Food: 3/5 As for the atmosphere, the Japanese décor was aesthetically pleasing, but the indoor layout and music could use some improvement. We were seated in a smaller room that felt cramped and poorly lit, and the music was so loud it was difficult to hold a conversation. I’d give the indoor atmosphere 3/5 (though I’d like to try the outdoor seating next time). Service was fine overall, and the staff was pleasant. However, I have to take off one star because my Senshi bowl order was mixed up. I had asked for no onions and no plantain, but still received plantain in my dish. This may have been because the music was so loud the server couldn’t hear me clearly. Service:4/5 Overall, tasty food with a couple of standouts, great drinks, and nice décor but the indoor atmosphere and temperature of the entrées might not be for everyone.

A great place for sushi! The experience here is always enjoyable. Our server Jose was attentive and responsive, he was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu answering questions and giving suggestions. The portions were generous and the sushi bowl was a hit! My one thing is the menu is very limited for non-sushi eaters but it does have a few options. It should also be noted that there is both indoor and outdoor seating but we opted to sit inside. They also have quite a few specials for drinks and sushi so be sure to check them out.

My bestie and I recently had my annual celebratory birthday lunch/dinner at Samurai. First of all, this it was her first time experiencing eating sushi, and well I'm a little more experienced but it was a first at this restaurant. The ambience was picturesque with esthetically pleasing; Grounded in nature, its Japanese based design is simple and yet effective at setting a mood. The service from our host and steward was excellent. We were well attended to and most satisfied with the quality and level of professionalism. Food, oh yes the food! Well, my friend for sure was hesitant at first with all the stigma about raw fish but it's safe to say she's a converted sushi eater and most likely will try it again based on her experience at Samurai. Especially the Crispy Shrimp and Crispy California rolls, they are semi-cooked. I particularly liked the overall experience. The sushi was sumptuous and fulling, and my complimentary birthday ice-cream just topped off the celebration.

*Disappointing Experience at Samurai* I visited Samurai expecting to enjoy good Japanese food, but unfortunately, the service was a complete disaster. Despite having available tables inside the restaurant, we were seated outside, where we noticed a spider web on the lamp above our table. The staff was unfriendly and lacked communication. *Issues with the order and service* We had the misfortune of being attended by 5 different staff members, which added to the chaos. We ordered passion fruit juice, but they didn't have it. Then, we ordered two pineapple juices and one cranberry juice, but they brought one pineapple juice and a beer that we didn't order. The sushi rolls and ramen arrived at different times, making the experience even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the sushi arrived without utensils, sauce, or napkins. *Lack of attention* When it started raining, no one approached us to ask if we were okay. The waitress showed a unpleasant attitude and there was no effective communication. *The food, the only positive* Although the food was tasty, the poor service ruined the entire experience. We didn't deserve that treatment, especially considering we paid for our food. *Conclusion* My experience at Samurai was very bad. It seems that the treatment depends on the person's appearance. I hope they improve their service to offer a more pleasant experience to their customers. *Rating:* 1/5 stars

Had a Godzilla roll. It was disappointing. For rolls that will have teriyaki sauce/ or garlic sauce, at least they can provide a small packet for to go orders. Only soy sauce was given and I don’t really eat soy sauce. The roll on the whole was mid. Wouldn’t purchase again.

I had a really good time here. It was a wonderful new experience for me. The drink that I ordered (cucumber lemonade with mint) was fantastic. The only issue I had was the Miso soup because it was brought to me when it was warm. I ordered the chicken curry nanban noodles in a bowl and it was good. It really was a curry dish. The service at the restaurant was really nice, the waiter and waitress who served me were very courteous a d responsive. I really appreciated their services. The atmosphere was remarkably good, a singer was brought in and he brought wonderful vibes by singing some old school and new school jams mostly blues and indie rock. Samurai restaurant is a good place to go and I would recommend it because of their professionalism and memorable setting.

Each time I visit Tobago I usually go eat at La Cantina. However this time I found the pizzas a bit tasteless. At least service was good and I was happy with my drinks. I got a Sorel Rhum Punch and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Until next time la Cantina.

Let's start by saying they have the Best Italian Pizzas by Far.... The restaurant can definitely do with some upgrade to uplift the Ambiance and their Service was extremely slow. Had to wait a little bit long for simple things like beers. But overall it's always a good experience at La Cantina Tobago.

The food and service is always exceptional when I go to la cantina. However the outdoor section comes with tiny friends that buzz around your food and tried to suck your blood. From mosquitoes, moths to flies. They had it. Next time I am walking with my bug repellant. The food was soooooo great I didn't even get a chance to take a pic. I just snapped the drinks.

It was my first time visiting Tobago with my partner, and we decided to stop by La Cantina — and honestly, I was amazed! From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, each one full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met — so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. I truly believe the gentleman who attended to us was the manager, and if so, he’s doing an excellent job. His professionalism and warmth made the whole dining experience unforgettable. La Cantina has a nice and casual ambiance and friendly staff, but I found the pizza to be just average. The ingredients seemed okay, but the flavor and texture didn’t quite stand out compared to other places. Ingredients a bit sparse. It's a decent spot if you’re in the area. Service and pizza quality have definitely dropped since management change. The best pizza in Tobago still. Would recommend but it's not as it used to be long ago.

Wanted a milkshake and La Cantina came up as an option in the Store Bay area (Cones and Coffee was closed..). Can't rate their pizza even though that's their main offering, but milkshake was a disappointment. Too watery to be considered an ice cream based product. Chocolate tasted okay, but Papa Smurf you definitely can skip...

I had lunch here. It's regular Indian food but more expensive and the cocktail drinks tasted like there wasn't any alcohol in them. The dessert was delicious and I loved the presentation! I would say the food isn't worth it, but I'm willing to return to try the afternoon tea. Ambience is lovely and service was good.

You walk into an experience! Some very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Interaction from the door with the young lady was note worthy. Food is reasonably priced for the level of culinary art tou received on your plate. We were offered a sort of pre appetizer as we waited on our orders. The menu does a great job of explaining most meal items and you can also ask questions. They have a few tasting options on the menu which is awesome. The Mint Chutney is divine! 2 person table was a bit tiny but the servers handled well. My partner and I were both satisfied with our meals. Meals are visually impactful so is the overall space. Edible Flowers and beautiful colours on every plate! Ambience was taken up a notch with live violin! If I had to nitpick my only wish was that the naan was served in a way that better kept its freshness.

The food was delicious! Authentic Indian food that can only be found in Trinidad and Tobago. It was nice to have a security guard direct us and escort us to our parking area. The same security guard was also there when we exited the restaurant. We try a variety of items on their menu and our children also and enjoyed the experience. They also have live music. The food is excellent !

We spontaneously decided to have lunch at this restaurant. It was the right decision. Our waiter was very friendly and patient with our group of 8 adults. We ordered different meals and all was very good and reasonably priced. A restaurant I will certainly return to in the future.

The first time dining here was good. We will go back. Parking was ok, busy shopping center. There is no restroom within the restaurant, which is not ideal (have to wall down to a shared RR). The restaurant was well decorated and clean. Seat yourself style. The food portions were great. Green sauce was too sweet, but red and white were tasty. Kids' meals were a great value. The main negative was that their tortillas didn't taste fresh (kinda dry).

Food was tasty but service was a bit lackluster. Our drinks were empty the entire time unless we asked for refills and we were brought two bowls of chips and salsa for 8 people which was gone in just a few minutes and again we weren’t brought more until we asked. This place looks like a fast service restaurant but you actually are seated and waited on. Food was good, nothing to write home about.

For Mexican food in St. George, this place wasn’t too bad. They have some of the typical entrees that you might expect at most Mexican restaurants. There is a lot of seating, including outdoor shaded seating. The staff seemed eager to seat us and take our order, which was great. I wouldn’t say it’s the best, but definitely decent dishes to eat. It appeared to be about $15-$20/person based on the menu. I would try this place again.

The food came quick, great service, delicious chips and salsa, and the best white/queso sauce I have ever tasted in this town. I would eat here again. We got the Carne Asada fries, Torta, Chile Relleno, and Chimichanga.

This place was awesome. Tony was great and took great care of us. The kids menu was perfect. They had tons of gluten free options. The chips are even fried in a separate fryer. Would 100% recommend!

It was clear that staff members were not being treated with fairness or consideration, which not only affects employees but also customers who can sense the tension. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to create a healthier environment for both staff and clients.

IIRC, they used to serve more of a cajun seasoned fries that slapped a while aback...not sure if they replaced it with the current, not all that great, side order. All in all, worth the visit. PS. That 1 bottle of Bertie's pepper sauce y'all passing round from table to table isn't good restaurant etiquette btw.

The atmosphere was quite relaxing and the staff was friendly. I forgot to take the name of the waitress that served us but she was excellent. The cocktails were rich in taste and definitely order the Mashed Potatoes 🤤

Ordered a burger and fries, the food was mid, the coleslaw was horrible... Zanzibar kitchen manager, go kfc, buy a cole slaw and compare it to yours.. your coleslaw has too much mayo so that it's overpowering, it's too sweet and not adequately balanced with salt, and it's just a thick clump. Fix the coleslaw, message me here and I'd come back in and try it again.. Then I'd modify this review . Let's see if you listen to your customers. That bad coleslaw really bugged me..

Stopped in for early lunch on a Saturday. Not a lot of patrons so service was great. Had the Crispy chicken sandwich and the Z's Seafood Ravioli (didn't get a pic) and both were fantastic.

Went for a family reunion lunch. Great selection of Chinese food, and good drinks. Service (Francis) was very attentive & helpful, quick & efficient. Food was very good, Mussels especially & several varieties of Wontons & stir fried fish. Nice ambience, they turned down music to accommodate us so we could talk without shouting. I would recommend going.

I've been here several times. The food does NOT disappoint. Great service, excellent environment. I only have two personal concerns, 1. The wait time for your order - which is understandable considering the size of the restaurant but don't go hungry 😅 2. It's a bit too dark for my liking, depending on where you sit. If you sit against the walls, the lighting is good but if you have a group and have to sit away from the walls, it's a bit difficult to see properly - that however was back in 2020 at dinner time... Haven't been there for dinner since... I've gone for lunch several times though 😅

2nd dining experience by the bar. The guys were super busy so getting their attention was a little challenging. The drinks and food came quickly though. Their portions are huge so please note that. The food was delicious as usual. Highly recommended

Soo over rated. The food was sub-mediocre. The noodles were bland and the honey chicken just tasted sweet/sugary. No seasonings in any dish. The drinks were expensive and very sweet. $90 for a drink and 0 buzz because of the juice to alcohol ratio being off.

The food and service was great. I would have given 4.5 stars if it was a option, because the crab back appetizer was OK, too much bread used. However the other food items made up for it. Fried Wonton, Pepper Shrimp, vegetable fried rice and vegetable chow mein were great. I would definitely go back when I visit Trinidad again. 🇹🇹 the ambience was very nice.

As a first time experience I found it to be quite enjoyable. Our server Varune was excellent and attentive. Portions were unexpectedly huge and prices great. Ambience was on point and really cozy. Won't hesitate to return.

Town Restaurant is a very cozy space. If you enjoy hanging out alone or with friends, this is the ideal spot. I had the opportunity to taste their Chinese food and it is excellent. The 1/4 portions are nice. The food is very tasty, especially the plum chicken and pepper calamari. These two dishes really stood out for me. Finally let talk about the table staff, they are excellent, polite and highly efficient. I have been there twice and I am definitely going to visit again. Great job!

The pasta sizes here are enormous! I feel like I've been robbed at local Trinidad restaurants for ever after visiting this place. There are options on the menu that do not come with a higher price with a different meat - if it's fettuccine, the shrimp or chicken option is the same cost. I went in for the dining experience but had to leave by the time my order arrived so I took it to go. The experience was cut short but the food was still good.

Superb first time experience at this quaint yet elegant eatery for the first night of my Tobago vacation . Located conveniently along the Pigeon point road . ( Beautiful eye catching art that captures local vibrant colors work is a must see ) . On a Mondays they are also open when I had done a beach excursion and needed to have dinner when most places were closed , they came to the rescue ! Delightful wait staff , very professional! Food of course was delicious and filling !!! The eggplant Parmesan starter is a must . I can’t wait to return . Prices are very good too

Cute, delicious, friendly service. My only issue was the time it took to get our main dishes. I imagine that the pasta is fresh, which is why it took so long? The food was worth the wait. We got the bruschetta and side salad to start, all very good. A tad salty for the bruschetta. We ordered a half portion of fettuccine Alfredo, and it was a generous size for an adult. My child loved it and said it was "the best pasta ever". We ordered the ravioli special. We chose white sauce and got extra red sauce on the side to make a rose sauce. This was so good. You could taste the freshness of all the ingredients and pasta. I would come back to try another pasta dish. Yum!

Food is good and everything only disappointment is the servings of meats for the money spent,imagine spending $70 for a half shrimp alfredo to only receive five(5) small sized shrimp like you paying for macaroni alone,have to do better with shrimp meals for the cost,otherwise food satisfaction is good.

Really cute restaurant concept and excellent pasta. My party and I enjoyed our meals here and the option of gluten free pasta. The food portions are generous and it didn’t take too long to be served. I would just recommend that they add more dairy-free options to the menu, but adjustments can currently be made to some of the dishes to accommodate that.

The shrimp Alfredo pasta was delicious. Notably you're able to order your meals in half or whole portions for those of us who have small appetites. The ambience was really nice & the service was excellent 👏 Definitely recommend this establishment

Didn't give water after asking 2nd time for another 26 minutes. No napkins given until asking, when meal was almost over. Came to visit table rarely. Owner would do much better with communicating with waiters and staff on asking the needs of guests, and not having very long waits

I ordered butter chicken and naan… I was surprised I had to pay extra for rice. The garlic naan was very thick and not what I am used to when I order naan. The part of my meal I was sad about the most was the butter chicken. I was craving it for a few months after coming from the US. The butter chicken had no flavor and I was so excited to taste all the spices I associated with authentic Indian food but I got nothing. Also, it was overpriced!

They have a good selection of authentic Indian food. We get their garlic naan and onion kulcha every single time. It's easy to get a table, even on weekends. Service can be a bit slow, but nothing too bad.

The food was good, the environment was clean and pleasant, and the server was friendly. The cashier was polite overall, but I didn’t appreciate her approach in one situation. I didn’t realize she had already put a fork in my bag, so I picked one up from the counter—it's to the front where most people would assume utensils are for customer use. Instead of calmly explaining, she said, “No, we don’t do that here,” in a tone that felt unnecessary. Honestly, I could’ve snapped, but I was too hungry to bother. Just don't put the utentils to the front if y'all don't do that there. 😩 This is the location corner of Abercromby & Queen Street.

Tasty with a huge portion of rice and huge portion of noodles. However the fish portion was small containing mostly batter and 4 pieces of fish. Exspensive for little serving of fish.

Almost everything was spicy. I prefer no spicy or very little. The servers did not seem interested in satisfying their customers.

The server was not the usual jovial ladies who are out front. Service was mainly without words and eye contact. Felt like I was bothering the young lady. Then the potatoes were basically like chewing on fried sponge full of oil. Didn't enjoy today's lunch. Maybe is time for a rest.

This was the bestttt!!!! The service was top tier. The servers were so friendly and helpful. The food tho 🤤. The food was amazingggg. If I could rate it a 100/5 I would. Honestly the best food I have had in a long time. We ordered the Creamy Chicken Rotini and the Spinach Chicken Alfredo Pizza. They were both amazing. Attached is photos of both and some other things my family Ordered.

Their all you can eat pizza special is a total steal of a deal. Pair that with their really good service and wine specials they have as well and it was an experience definitely worth talking about. The pizza options are great and offer a wide variety. Taste, presentation and quality all on point. Even the dessert pizza options leave you intrigued and impressed. Their live entertainment also adds a very nice touch. Perfect for an intimate dinner or even an evening out with friends and family.

Went to celebrate my daughter being awarded her degree. Now we both heard the food wasn't that good and the prices crazy. But we decided to form our own opinion. We went on a Tuesday, and they did have a special on called Pasta Tuesday, buy 1, and get 1 of the same or lesser value free. The portions were more than satisfying. Delicious food. Our server was very pleasant. Our drinks were mocktails and let me tell you, awesome! Great experience.

I can’t wait to go back! My new favorite spot in Trinidad! Rizzoni’s all you can eat pizza Fridays is such a vibe. For just $199 you get unlimited pizza, appetizers AND dessert. Like, what?! 🤯 They have over 10 different pizzas and you can try every single one if you want (which I obviously did lol). ⭐️ My top favorites were the carne asada, creamy chicken and spinach, prosciutto with pear and gorgonzola, and the truffle mushroom. 😍Everything was sooo good. If you love pizza, this is your sign.

I went to Rizzoni’s for a dinner date with my other my significant other. I had a very enjoyable experience; the atmosphere was very beautiful, calm and scenic. The staff was very pleasant.The waitress was very good at recommending meal options and drinks. I enjoyed my meal and my drink. However my date didn’t enjoy his drink as much. The food and drinks didn’t take too long to arrive after ordering which is a plus. We would both definitely revisit Rozzonis for the tasty food and wonderful atmosphere.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in trinidad. The food and wines are amazing . Also the chef is quite interactive with the customers . The ambience is also amazing and clean. The food is usually served in a timely manner and the staff is friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for tasty food and drink on a special occasion. Parking places are also available lower down the street as well.

Lovely food and great service. The staff is friendly (both servers and customer service on the phone when making a booking). They made accommodations for my entire group including for my Muslim and Hindu friends. Angelo himself visits the table and has a little chat with you. Just be prepared for the prices. It is quite expensive. But overall nice experience.

Found my go-to sports bar in Port of Spain! Had a fantastic time watching the Atlético vs. Real match here yesterday. The chicken strips were excellent—homemade and full of flavor! Plus, the happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 PM is perfect for catching football matches with a great drink deal. Top-notch service and an awesome atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next week for more games! ⚽🍻

The energy at Island beer last night was excellent, along with the service. The cocktails were tasty, presentations were beautiful, and the waitress was quite knowledgeable on each of the offerings and able to answer all our questions without hesitation. The food, however, was a challenge. The wait time for food was extraordinarily long and left more to be desired, which i can only sum up to an off night as I've dined before, and the food tasted much better. Tonight was also quite busy and may have also been a contributing factor. The waitress apologized throughout, checked in, and even provided complimentary shots to compensate for the experience. Highly appreciated.

I had the bbq combo. It was good but the chicken needed to be cooked a little more. A bit on the pricey side for a box of BBQ.

This has become one of my favorite spots when I visit Trinidad. Food is consistent and great and the drinks exceptional. It's a really good spot to watch sports too. I ate the creamy chicken there and I ordered rolls from the Samurai place next door which was exceptional as well.

This place is vibes. Just a fair warning though, the music on the outside is very loud. However, indoor seating provides for a better experience to have a conversation. I visited to have a few beers with my partner and we had a blast. We sat by the bar, the bartender were very attentive and answered all our questions about the foreign beers. We would definitely visit again.

Really nice place with a big screen showing sports. I had a delicious house salad with grilled chicken that looked amazing as well. The bar staff was attentive and not too invasive. They let me sample the wine before deciding if I want to drink it, which was a very nice touch. I will definitely be back to try more food! Oh, and soca was playing from the speaker at just the right volume, creating a nice vibe but still allowing people inside to have conversations.

They have a huge list of shots and cocktails along with a big menu. We didn't try too much of the food but what we had was tasty and prepared well! Definitely recommend as a great spot to pre drink, grab some drinks and food, or just smoke some shisha!

The food tasted good, but the service was poor, felt like we were begging to get what we wanted. We had to ask and get one word answers for everything, no help or suggestions. If you very hungry and have no other option, sure you can try them.

Nice place to grab a casual meal. The place has good variety and the meals are satisfactory for the price. They have ample seating and the location is close to the airport and Store Bay. Only con for me is that there is no washroom or sink to wash your hands. The staff are very friendly and professionally dressed.

Initially I was a little taken aback when I asked the server if the “beef” was from a cow, and she responded, “more than likely”. However, the food was delicious! And affordable. I enjoyed everything on my plate, and almost got an additional plate to go!

Everything from the view, the food and service was excellent. I had the goat's cheese and beetroot salad as an appetizer and the slow grilled rack of lamb for an entrée. My eyes closed with the first bite of each, and there was an unconscious happy food dance. 10/10 highly recommend

The surroundings are gorgeous, set right next to the Buccoo Boardwalk. I had their Blackened Red Snapper with caramelised plantains, coconut sauce & basmati rice. The portions were too small and the fish was too salty. The dining experience was a disaster because there was not proper ventilation, it felt hot like a furnace. I gave them 1 star because the waitress was very friendly and the restaurant accommodated me on short notice… However I will not be coming back to this establishment in future.

Very good restaurant with excellent local dishes like fish cake. Shrimps on curry just delicious, no wine card but beer is fine. Very attentive service, price is ok. Even the online reservation worked. And than the top place for continuing the evening as the 'sunday scool' starts 9pm so the steel drums are not immediately burning, as first some tourists songs needs to be played. After this ?? Hell what a music! Top place to go in this area.

Awesome restaurant overlooking Buccoo Bay with a spectacular view of the sunset and located in the cute little town off Buccoo ...the food is an amazing fusion of international dishes with a local twist ...a must for any visit to Tobago

My wife and I went with a couple friends and our toddlers. They were so warm to the kids and even more so friendly to help us accommodate their needs. The food was ON POINT. I have had many steaks from a wide range of places including the famous Texas in the food ole USofA and let me say this. By far the best Ribeye ever. Perfect medium rare with a very crisp crust on the outside (almost impossible to get at a restaurant) with the most delicious wine butter reduction. This will be a regular for me and my family !

We tried to book in this place for dinner a few times, but it was fully booked. We end up going for lunch because it had really good reviews and it did not disappoint us. We ordered the “small” lobster (I would like to see the big one), and my girlfriend had the grilled shrimps as mains. We also ordered plantain chips and pasta pie. Everything was perfect and it came to the table just a few mins after we arrived to the restaurant. I guess it helps that we needed to order in advance, but it’s ok. Also, views were great and we would definitely come back, but next time will try to book in advance for dinner to see the sunset as it must be quite nice. Note that they only accept cash.

Lovely little place, only 5 tables, overlooking the sea. Limited menu, but then you're only going to this place for lobster or fish. We had the garlic bread for starters, followed by a small/medium lobster, grilled fish, fries, wedges, corn cob, salad and coleslaw. The total bill came to less than 75 US dollars. You bring your own wine or beer, they supply glasses and an ice bucket, no corkage charge. Booking is required, but we only phoned the day before. Bear in mind you are sat right next to the sea, if it's windy, don't complain if you get wet. No credit cards. Don't leave Tobago with dining here.

Making a reservation, and preordering with Lynette was easy and is clearly helpful to a small sustainable business. The restaurant is in a great location with easy parking on Swallows Beach. The dining terrace is hidden from view from the roadside and is a great reveal. It is a really inviting, intimate dining terrace with a great atmosphere, right on the seashore. This is a great place to watch the sunset over the Caribbean and listen to the water lapping underneath. We arrived at 6pm so saw a breathtaking sunset over the returning boats and those setting out for sunset tours. The food was really fresh and delicious. We had catch of the day (dolphin/mahi mahi) and shrimp. Sides were plentiful and very tasty. The lobster arriving at the other tables looked amazing too and is great value. Lynette’s service was warm and friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Mesoreen Café Bistro and had such a lovely experience! The table was beautifully decorated in honour of his special day, and we were welcomed with a complimentary drink — such a thoughtful gesture. The ambience was charming and cozy, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Camille, our server, who was bubbly, attentive and more than happy to help us capture memories with photos. The food was really delicious and portion sizes were great. Though I requested something off the menu (a chicken burger), they gladly accommodated me. My husband also received a complimentary slice of cake and juice in honour of his special day, which he truly appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely return. If you're heading to Tobago, Mesoreen Café Bistro is a must-visit! 💯

I ordered fried shrimp and fries sorry to say I’ve tasted better shrimp at Popeyes 🤷🏽‍♀️ and a portion of chicken wings I think I got pigeon wings instead they were the same size of the shrimps and they were also fresh 😷 Please change your chef 🤝🏽.

Just visited Cafe Bistro Mesoreen in Tobago and the food was amazing. My favourite was the crab and dumpling ravioli style appetizer but the other items we had was also really good. I felt for pasta so I had the shrimp alfredo which was pretty good as well. Camille was our waitress and she was such a sweetheart as well.

Dinner was yum yum for having local dishes so elegantly presented on the plate. Drinks we had fresh juices.. also complimentary birthday cake .
