Where to eat: the 33 best restaurants in Minca

My boyfriend and I both ordered medium steaks, mine came good but my boyfriends came out still very very rare. As for the taste… really nothing special, not really bad but also not really good, tasted like a simple home made level steaks cooked on a pan (maybe I’m wrong but it didn’t taste like they were cooked any differently). The service was just fine not really something to write home about. With all that said, there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we did enjoy drinking beer there in the rain :)

Lovely spot where we sought refuge from the rain. Got the wok and my friend the ramen. Decent service and tasty meals. Got the 2 x 30 000 happy hour deal and the drinks were pretty strong- would come here again!

Had a great meal at Lazy Cat. I am sure a lot of people come here for the burgers but we had fish and it was fantastic. Mixed Ceviche, Sea Bass and Tempura Shrimp. All were fantastic. Highly recommend.

We liked it so much, we came twice! Happy hour mojitos were a great deal and actually good (not too sweet), coffee was delicious, food was fresh and flavourful with a lot of veggies, and the view from the patio is lovely (including the neighbours’ hummingbird feeder). Attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend!

This Burger + 12 little French fries is what you get when you order a vegetarian burger. Cannot recommend it. To be fair the coco Limonade was good. My friends pasta was maybe enough for a child, but not for an adult. One star for the price and the other one for the apology and that they took my burger back to the kitchen to upgrade it. Edited: -1 star because since then (4days ago) I have diarrhea

Quite a good restaurant. We stopped for lunch. We each had the daily special -- protein, salad, rices, fries, soup. Very good. Portions small. Service was good. Recommended.

Food was fantastic. Service was even better! Elkin was our waiter and he took very good care of us. Great location, just a little way down the road, with a great decor. We ate outside on the patio overlooking the road. I loved the glass bottle lamps, and the fruit drinks Elkin recommended were incredible!

Excellent! The chef knows what he is doing. The food was amazing, the best meal we had in Colombia - and we had some really good meals! The staff was also very sweet and attentive. Everyone was happy with their meal although I have to say that my beef with chocolate sauce was amazing.

A must try when in Minka! The service was great! Staff was friendly and welcoming (even pets). You can see the cooks preparing your food while you wait. The seating area is small so at times you may have to wait to be seated, but it gives you time to check out the merchandise outside and chat with the vendors outside. The area before the seating area is creatively decorated, so be sure to enjoy that as well! They were very accommodating to my vegan request and the food was wonderful! The meat eaters were also very pleased with their food. You can see the river running on the side of the seating area, but you can hear the river running while enjoying your meal! The food was great, the staff was friendly the vibe was perfect! We LOVED it and highly recommend visiting when you're in the area!

Got here a little late, but was still kindly ushered in by warm and friendly people and practically had the place to myself. I only had one night in town and they’d be closed rest of my time so rushed over. Had been craving asados carbon for weeks. Their setup is awesome as well! It is mainly an outdoor downstairs patio right on a flowing stream. Got a (flank or skirt🤔)steak and chicken fire grill dish. Both were cooked beyond perfection. Chicken breast* juicy beyond belief with a mouth watering tropical sauce(can’t remember the fruit) that I would eat off the floor if I had to 😅 Steak was inhale-able and melting tender with a perfect chimichury accompanied served on a hot plate. If you’re in Minca and like protein Bururake is heaven in paradise Incredible spot!

I almost missed it because you have to walk in and go quite far back to get to the restaurant. Don't miss it, it's REALLY worth it. The chef did an amazing job on the Tropical pork tenderloin. If you love grilled meat, you will love this chef 😅 The sauce was so unique and a perfect blend of the fruits and ginger. The server, was very lovely and attentive. I saw 3 more things on the menu that I want to try, so I'll definitely be back!

It's a very colorful place in Minca... the food is incredible, I can say it's some of the best in Santa Marta. They have incredible meat with tamarind sauce, and the open-style kitchen is beautiful!

Really a nice place in one of the side streets to the very touristy main roads in minca. It only has 5 tables or so, is not crowded and really cozily located next to the kitchen /the grill so you can watch the chef at work. The food was great and the amount was satisfying, even for bigger eaters, like me. It's a bit meat focused so vegan or vegetarians might not feel to comfortable here.

The food here was amazing, the flavors of each dish were exceptional. We highly recommend to share the food so you can try more than one dish, mixing up sweet and savory food. The drinks were also really good. The service could be better, but it was still good.

This was my best restaurant experience in Santa Marta, outside of the street food (which is excellent). High end place, very tranquil vibe. Service was attentive and the food was great. I had mussels, the plátano lasagna (each was a full meal and I had to take the lasagna home!) and the flan de arequipe. Also loved their artesanal sodas! Recommend.

Absolutely stunning, the location, decoration, menu, service, absolutely everything is to notch. What a gem, I can 100% recommend it. Went for dinner and breakfast, and both times I was blown away. I love the atmosphere they have built into the restaurant, with the slow Latin music, the plants everywhere, even the rustic feel of the walls. Of course, the food is spectacular, and truly iconic for the region. One of the best restaurants in Santa Marta, for sure.

Truly a hidden gem in Santa Marta! We went intentionally for the pasta and ended up getting some of the best appetizers! The drinks were incredible too. Highly recommend!

We came here for coffee and something small to eat. Coffee is well prepared but they use one with high acidity notes that’s not my favorite. It’s a good coffee, it’s from the Sierra Nevada and they sell it there too. The burrata was great! Super creamy and everything in the plate went wonderful with it, cooked tomates, pesto, arugula. The bread was good too. Service was super friendly and attentive and the place is beautiful. Would definitely come back to taste more breakfast plates

This place is a nice little restaurant in easy to find location and the interior is comfortable and cool. The menu is full of good choices and the Panini and hamburgers are delicious. They also have a bar and play salsa and cumbia music in the evening. The staff is very friendly and accommodating One of the better places that I’ve been to in Santa Marta.

If you are craving GOOD Pizza then this is the place. The amount of flavor was so unexpected (I had a 1/2 Four Cheese & 1/2 Pesto). Also, please don’t judge the pizza by the photos… I had planned to take it to-go but after I sat down and took a bite., the rest became history. Family owned and very kind people with a terrace view overlooking the area. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did 🫶🏾 — Oh, also be patient for the pizza because it does take a while. They make it fresh - Update I came back tonight for another after I wrote the review so here are some photos of that lol

Very good rating on google so we decided to give it a try. Dishes were very good size, and a medium pizza is enough for two people while a large is good for 3. The pasta were flavorful, and large but sauce tasted a bit watery. Serví e was quick and attentive, and we had the whole upper floor to ourselves. Not the cheapest option in town. Oh also, the chicken fajita on the menu is just a burrito, so don't expect anything different. Overall, really good dinner.

Fantastic pizza and good choice of wine. It is to be noted that I was given a choice from three bottles of various red wine - on three price levels each being 10000 COP in difference… which I think to be superb giving the diner a choice in that circumstance. The pizza was a good size for a medium and enough that I took half away with me. Super experience and great taste!

Very surprised as my partner is Italian and have high standards I guess - super tasty pastas! Pumpkin tortellini with sorrentino tomato sauce and the Ariabiata spaghetti both really good. Come with garlic bread to soak up sauce. Highly recommend!

Very friendly waiter. The maracuya juice was delicious! We asked a pizza that wasn’t on the card and they love to experience. I recommend!

Ravioli was better than the steak, which was better than the pizza, but everything was good overall. Service with no smiles, plastic cups and food took really long (bit more than 1h).

The ravioli with spinach was tasty. The portion size really small (I'm not a big eater, however 10 ravioli pieces is not a lot). The staff looked like she rather be any other place, did not greet when I said good evening, and only said the mandatory gusto with an almost angry face (although I was polite and friendly in Spanish). Perhaps I was unlucky this night since there are also a lot of positive reviews. Note that this is the first time I'm writing a negative one. Would not recommend though. There are definitely more friendly places in Minca.

Second morning in a row we’re eating here and probably will come again for last breakfast tomorrow! The women working here offer the best service and are very friendly! The food is very good and worth the price (the avocado toast is amazing!) Can definitely say that this is my favorite restaurant in Minca 🙏🏼

They have a few vegan options, and while they’re not explicitly labeled, the staff knew exactly what was vegan and were super helpful when I asked. I was able to get the vegetarian sandwich because the pesto was vegan and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was huge; I even had enough to take away for another meal. There’s no bathroom, but the service was so friendly and accommodating!

Food was good but very expensive for the portion size and took a while to come. Got pancakes for half the price and tastier down the road from here. Its right on the road so there are lots of motorbikes driving up and down as well as dogs coming off the road.

Amora Cafe in Minca is legit. Hit it up twice—first for breakfast, where I got an omelette so good even Gordon Ramsay would've been proud. Went back for lunch and it was just as solid. ​The owner, Renata, is the real MVP. She's got a big smile and is super cool and helpful. My Spanish is pretty rough, but she was chill about it and didn't even sweat my broken-up sentences. Awesome food, awesome spot, awesome people. Can't go wrong.

Had the acai bowl with strawberries and banana and it was delicious!! Just like OakBerry, if you know the chain, but so much more generous! And the staff are really lovely. Highly recommend if you’ve got a relaxing day in Minca.

The food here is amazing!!! I had the avocado toast and it had a sublime pesto on it. Also a very fresh mango and passonfruit juice. The service was quick and very friendly. 100% recommend!

Yummm- came here by recommendation for their sweet crepes. I tried the Nutella with banana + ice cream and was glad. The portion is quite large for a dessert so it's shareable or you could just eat it as a meal like I did. The place appears small from the outside but it could sit quite a few people. The staff was really friendly and they have English or Spanish menu.

An absolute gem of a place in Minca. We headed there for the 5pm-7pm happy hour with $10000 burgers and $5000 cups of wine. That burger was sitting between a couple of clouds of deliciousness. Never have I had such a fresh burger bun before. It was served with a handful of freshly cut chips and the wine was absolutely perfect. Customer service was top notch and we had a great night. This is one of the better places to visit while in Minca.

One of the worst dishes we had in seven weeks Colombia. Had a burger there in April where the meat was dying another death. Totally dry. Rest was average. The worst was the balsamico dressing all over the bun and the plate. The bun was crumbling. It’s so easy to find good and easy burger recipes. Def. A big fail in this place.

Loved this place! It was a complete surprise as we had no expectations and ate there on a whim. We've been back twice since which speaks volumes! Every dish we've had has been great and the portions are plenty after a mornings hike. Big fan of the pasta dishes.

Surprisingly good food. Their vegetarian pizza is loaded with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. Excellent value happy hour specials from 17:00-19:00. Their limonada natural for $3,500 COP is excellent. Highly recommended!

Pretty tasty and seemed pretty fresh. I got the chicken sandwich and they had no problem modifying an ingredient for me. My wife got the chicken & veggie wok stir fry, which was also good, albeit a bit too sweet and strangely came with garlic bread instead of rice or noodles. The juices we got were also good, the large size being pretty big so a medium would probably be enough with a meal. Though nothing was spectacular, I'd go back to try some other items if I were in Minca again.

What can I say - this meal was outstanding. The flavours were insane. Loved everything - the subtle mint in the salad, the humus, the almond rice, the garlic Mayo - everything was delicious. Can’t wait to return tomorrow night. Service was great.

This place invited us in with open arms when the rest of the town was completely out of power. We ordered the beef kebab, chips and zataar, all were incredible, as was the service. We got by on our limited Spanish, and were even given a candle🕯️ when the generator went out. Great food, great service, friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely go again.

When I found this restaurant, we returned 3 days in a row. It was easily the best food in Colombia. Same for the service. <3 <3 the garlic pita was so good, everything on both platters was so satisfying and rich in flavor.

We had a great dinner here. Nice to have a change of food, it was delicious and good portion size. I'm guessing little bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area. We paid 138 000 COP for 2 main dishes and 2 juices.

This restaurant is so fresh and amazing, was served very fresh and delicious food with great service. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in Minca and want good authentic Arab/syrian food

You have to come here just for the natural juice / smoothies they served. The two of us had the passion fruit and strawberry juice and they are the best I have had so far in Columbia. For our meal, we had hummus to start and the chicken schwarma which were both good - not the best I’ve had but for being in a jungle, it was much higher than expected. Oh and we had a really lovely man who served us!

It looked closed but that's because the entrance is to the left down an alleyway and then up the stairs to the top floor. Good little menu, really fresh and tasty. We had the wok rice (super tasty) and the creole bowl (a little bland but then I asked for some sauce and they brought me some 'salsa de casa' - like an avo-sour cream blend which made the dish perfect). Both super fresh and filling. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Not exactly “fast” but fresh, flavoursome & great value. We had two margaritas for 30k and two arepa for 30k. They were exploding with fillings. The restaurant is nice and it was full when we went so took a little time but that was totally fine - we sipped our margaritas and enjoyed the view :).

I ate here on two occasions and had great experiences. Both time I got arepas because I love them, I got the “minca” and the “pabellon”, I preferred the latter , both were very tasty. This is was my favorite savory meal in minca

It's s a lovely, really affordable place with really tasty food! We've met a few people in Minca who have been to this place and we all have loved it. It is up a side street from the main road in Minca and then up some stairs on the side of a house - so it is a bit hidden. Would highly recommend the arepas, wraps and mushroom sandwiche.

5 stars all around. We ate here three times during our time in Minca! The food is so fresh and flavourful. For lunch we tried the 2 for $30k arepas and they did not disappoint 🤤. A super filling and flavourful meal. Also the homemade papas fritas were delicious. You definitely have to try this place!!

For the price you pay the hotel has an absolutely amazing location - right on the sea front. Everything was walking distance and the staff were really helpful with letting us know the best and cheapest way to get to Minca afterwards. Worth staying here if your stopping over in Santa Marta.

We wanted food to go and the chef came out to talk to us about all the options. We ended up getting chicken and cheese sandwiches with mushrooms cooked in wine-so tasty! And the fries had parmesan and other seasonings, they were delicious as well.

Worst meal of our lives. Horrible service and attitude...wait staff rolling eyes. Asked specifically for patacones and they gave us fried sweet banana, ordered a bacon burger and came with no bacon, asked for no milk or cheese with my mushrooms and they served me raw undercooked mushrooms submerged in cheesy watery soup, the chicken seemed as if they microwaved it. Overcharged for the tiny portion. Addressed the issue and there was no apologies. Got diarrea after. Not sure if the people staffing at the moment were the owners but whoever was there were non-shalant and careless, did not welcome us and despite the basic request from the menu they decided to make whatever they felt like rather than acknowledging what was on the description of our order. Would not recommend this place for anyone.

Lovely restaurant in Minca. Plenty of good food options. Personally love the steak sandwich and the fresh smoothies without sugar or milk. Has WiFi and charging ports. Great place to dine looking over the road and the jungle. Place also takes card. Which is a godsend in Minca.

Food was very average. Overcharged us for our meals and placed more than 10% tip on. Didn't print the bill for us to control as we knew they over charged.

Small cafe dedicated to delicious, fresh meals with local ingredients and good service before a hike to Pozo Azul, or other local destinations. Highly recommend trying the picante sauce!

Our best food in Minca! We ordered the mixed burrito & chicken tacos and both were absolutely delicious. The guacamole was also really fresh. Tasty frozen margaritas served here also, and the service was super friendly!

Nice place with a nice atmosphere. The food was ok. I had the vegetarian Burrito but there were no black beans inside like in the description and also they could make the Burritos a bit more fresh. Putting some fresh veggies inside and maybe a better protein source like beans and mais or Tofu/ Tempeh/Seitan. The lemon pie was really good.

We had a burrito and tacos with beef and it was delicious! 😋 it’s was very filling, even the tacos. Sometimes tacos can be small, but these ones were bigger and nicely filled. The Frappuccino was also delicious. Highly recomended!

I’m not sure if this was because it was a quieter time before the higher tourist season started however the woman who served us was trying to trick us with the card machine. First she claimed she couldn’t split the bill as she didn’t know how to enter the amounts in the machine, when this was shown to not be true she then tried to hide the machine and add an extra amount to the bill so we could be in effect tipping twice - despite the bill listing the voluntary service charge which we had already included. Which she was aware of so this was not a simple misunderstanding. Food is great - good value for money and everything is delicious. WiFi works well here too. I do recommend this place as we enjoyed the food however just check your bill and make sure you check the amount on the card machine.

I’m not usually the type to leave reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This pizza place absolutely deserves the praise. The ambience is warm, welcoming, and perfect whether you're out with friends or just grabbing a solo bite. Now, the pizza is absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. You can tell they care about quality in every bite. Highly recommend it. I will definitely be back.

Delicious pizzas! We got the margarita, diavola and prosciutto pizzas and they were all superb. Staff were very friendly. Got to watch some kids playing football while we waited. Just be aware that they only do pizzas.

I left disappointed with this place. The pizzas were very small, lacked key ingredients, and were overpriced for what was served. While the staff was friendly and the restaurant’s décor was pleasant, the food simply didn’t live up to expectations.

I’m pretty picky about pizza, but Nonni Pizzeria completely won me over. The Margarita had a bright, authentic sauce and perfectly melted cheese, while the Pizza Bianca was creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The crust stood out with that classic wood-fired texture I’ve missed. Warm, attentive service and a cozy setting make Nonni Pizzeria feel like a little slice of Italy in Minca. Easy 10 out of 10.

Honestly a bit confused by all the glowing reviews. It was a cute little spot, fine service and quite basic/mediocre pizza. It is good in a way that’s it made authentically in a pizza oven however, I found that it lacked flavour. Not sure i would come back for the price and portion size with that quality.

This pizza restaurant in Minca has only just recently opened, so we thought we’d give it a try. It was great! The pizza dough was delicious, not too thick and not too thin. The ingredients were all super fresh and tasty. I had the pizza with prosciutto and arugula, and my partner had the diavolo. The outdoor terrace is lovely with a view of a mountain to the west and the neighbourhood soccer field., which is fun. One particularly nice thing about the location is the cool breeze that comes down from the hill, which we found refreshing after a day of hiking. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Definitely 5 stars for this place.

Nonni is the only Italian me and my partner have been to in Colombia that fully scratched that "Italian restaurant" itch. The pizza's were great, the dough is lovely and the bake was good.

This restaurant has a great location! It is next to a beautiful clear river, in which you can take a dip in to cool down while you wait for your food. I had a delicious Colombian chicken tamal, which w as a meal in itself, no need for additional sides. Staff was also very nice.

Excellent sancocho soup in a beautiful setting. We ate above the river and there are also tables on the river bed where you can go for a swim. The service was fast and the price are cheap. Great place to chill.

Good option to eat in Minca. Typical Colombian dishes which are well prepared for a fair price ; many of the other places are either wanna-be fancy or just have international kitchen. The terrace is also quite nice and you can observe street life whilst eating. I ate there twice during my stay and I was happy. Thanks :)

The food took long to get service. The fish was small, the vegetarian sandwich was so so. And the patacones we ordered as was not serving when we were going to finish dinner, we asked to cancel the service and the waiter said he forgot to tell us there were no more.

Absolutely stunning hostel with the best views! Getting there is a bit difficult as you walk up steep stairs but the view is very rewarding. I stayed only one night but had a great sunset. The hammocks are nice and I slept well but they are very close to one another. Large lockers for bags. Staff and guests were friendly and it felt social. Everything on the menu sounds delicious and it is all vegetarian. The brownie is made with black beans but tastes delicious! I did not like the vegetarian lasagna at all but others seemed to enjoy it. I did the bird watching tour at 6am with Otto and we saw a variety of birds including toucans! We also saw squirrels and spiders! I would stay here again and recommend to fellow backpackers!

Beautiful location, but that’s about the only good thing. We were placed in a room above the bar, made out of the thinnest wood and open sides. Which means you can hear every single word spoken around the room and in the bar. The work staff started talking really loud without any sense of awareness at 6:00, which means this will wake you up every single morning. A bad nights sleep is nearly guaranteed. This is something which has been said in tons of reviews already so the only conclusion is that the staff just doesn’t care. Which is in line with their general behaviour, just a general disinterest in the customers and the place. Easy fixes like fixing a disconnected mosquito net with a simple nail aren’t being done. We were there for 4 days and not a single day did the wifi work. Upon arrival we asked about it, they didn’t mention it themselves, and they said it’d be fixed next morning. This was the same lie they told people staying there the day before. So for atleast 5 days there was no wifi, with nobody ever showing any hurry in trying to fix it. The designated wifi hut which should alleviate this issue was also without wifi the whole time, despite being a whole different system (starlink versus a normal router).

Our first night we had an issue with dogs coming into our tent due to their being no gates/door to the tent. However the next morning when we mentioned it to the reception staff they immediately fitted a gate so the problem was solved. The sunsets were amazing, the food was good and we really appreciated the staff fixing the gate so quickly!

Beautiful spot for sunset but would recommended staying somewhere else. It’s a beautiful spot but wouldn’t recommend staying overnight, especially in the room next to reception . Super loud into the night then early in the morning too so tricky if you’re trying to get a good sleep.

Review based solely on RESTAURANT not hostel: We went here for lunch, the way up was difficult and although the view was pretty I didn’t feel it made up for the trek. Once we arrived we started to order our lunch. There were many things missing from the menu. The dishes took really long. Overall wouldn’t suggest as a lunch a spot.

BED BUGS BEWARE. Lovely communal area with gorgeous sunset views every day and staff are nice and tried to help us with our problems. Unfortunately the rooms and bathrooms are not up to scratch. When we arrived to our room it was a run down hut with holes in the roof and a bees nest in the side of the door. The room is tiny with nowhere to put your things and the floor is dirty. The staff offered us another room for the night due to the bees but when we returned the following night having moved our stuff in there midday we discovered bed bugs on the towel and bedding. We removed our things and got offered another room. We then discovered bed bugs in that room as well. There were so many we saw them crawling around outside the room. We got refunded for 2 nights but lost the Hostelworld deposit. We were disappointed that they didn’t offer anything complimentary and went on to charge us for a couple of beers we had had. We had to pay to get all of our clothes washed and the only hotel that was available at short notice was a lot more expensive. It ruined the time in Minca and left us feeling really upset as the issue will follow us round Colombia.

Nice place but very much a party place. Both nights music was super loud! Like ridiculously loud Until late at night! Especially if you end up in the dorm room above the common area. You then get woken up again around 6am from the staff cleaning. There needs to be a warning with staying in the dorms. I was not aware that I would get barely any rest here. I've been travelling for a long time and stayed at many hostels and this was the least respectful with the music. I hope they change that soon. I get it's a social hostel but theres being social and then theres being a night club in the jungle. I would not stay here again unfortunately

DO NOT RECOMMEND Members of staff very rude and they complained about me having allergen requirements. I do not recommend going if you have any dietary restrictions. Furthermore, the dishes were very small for the price paid. I paid nearly 30k for a tiny salad with added chicken. (They only gave 5 tiny bits of chicken for 9000 pesos) When we asked about the portion sizes to a staff member they were very rude and unhelpful with their response. There are so many other nice restaurants in Minca so definitely avoid and go elsewhere.

I live in Minca and we love this place. I have been to nearly all the restaurants in Minca, but this is the best. The food is mainly grilled meats, yuca, potatoes and a delicious chicken soup. The owner is sweet, friendly and welcoming to all those who visit. Since it is so popular the many tables are full, but we have always waited. It is rustic, but charming in character.

I was probably the only foreigner in this restaurant. Ive been waiting 1,5 hours for my lunch, Pork Rips. Many colombians who arrived after me, got their food before me. My plate did not have potatoes like offered in the menu, the waiter said they are out of stock. After complaining they brought me potatoes within 2 minutes. I paid more than offered in the menu. Maybe prices in the menu are not up-to-date. The pork ribs were only fat, no real meat. I did not order pork belly. The only thing which was good, was the view.

This was INCREDIBLE! the owner very kindly accommodated us even though it was quite late and the food arrived super quickly. The falafel salad was crunchy and soft, the baba ghanoush was smoky and the hummus was so smooth. The almond rice genuinely changed my life and it came to around 50k pp for a massive mezze and some delicious red wine. I’m still dreaming about this meal 😍😍😍😍😍

Fantastic small and cozy pizza restaurant!!! Rarely have we tasted such a great pizza, outside of Italy. The restaurant is ran by a nice couple, with the wife bing the waitress (and the boss) and the husband is the cook. Be careful which size you choose, as the small/personal size is definitely sufficient for one person. We both chose the medium size, and I had great difficulty finishing it, but couldn't stop because it was so tasty. The lady (sorry I forgot your name) is absolutely great, amazingly friendly, making you feel you are having dinner at your (Italian) home. Highly recommended!!

A very nice family run pizzeria - we visited two nights in a row. They are big pizzas, we shared a medium between two which was more than enough. Could get half/half toppings - then one with banana was our favourite! Location is a bit hidden away and looks like you’re entering a hotel, but continue down the driveway until the end and it’s there. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful little find nestled in the jungle! The family who run the pizza place are so kind and welcoming and accommodating. The pizza was delicious and huge and very reasonably priced! I never write bad reviews but really I have to here and give my experience. Firstly, the menu system which you have to connect via your phone works poorly. The menu picture is too close to the WiFi picture so is difficult to access the menu and it keeps wanting to access the WiFi instead. .So I turned over the plastic (see second photo) and logged onto the menu via the back icon. When you connect I didn’t know that this connects to the old menu and not their current one, why would I when is their to access and not explanation given by the waitress. We ordered two starters we were expecting two prawn dishes, what we received were meat tacos and meat nachos. When we queried this we were told what we had ordered was off the old menu, but we ordered on what we could see via their link. We showed the photos of what we ordered to the waitress. The menus had the same names on the old menu as the new menu but for different things. How confusing. They did not explain or repeat back to us what we ordered which would have clarified. They did not offer to replace the mistaken starters. Then to make matters worse we had to wait a long time for our drinks and starters and before we could finish the starters the main courses arrived so we had to leave the starters after all. Finally, I ordered surf and turf which was expensive on the menu I asked for the ribeye to be medium but it came very well done and tough so I didn’t finish that either. The food is expensive for Minca so this all ended up an expensive disaster. I am disappointed I have to write this.
