Outstanding food and service! We dined here on a quiet Tuesday evening for the 5-course experience and found the entire team locked in on our experience—special thanks to Jannes for making it a memorable dining experience! Each dish was expertly prepared, fresh, creative, locally sourced, and delicious. The wine pairings were perfectly matched even if sometimes nontraditional—trust them! As others have said, it is pricey but no pricier than other restaurants at this level; and it's rare to find this kind of attentive and knowledgeable service. It was true hospitality. We will be back!

a Michelin Bib gourmand restaurant. pretty good services, many excellent wines and very fresh foods. It's a good selection for you when there's a special anniversary or when you have to treat someone. Highly recommended it.

Before you start wondering why 2 stars: just look at how the Green Rose owner responds to negative reviews on google 🤦🏻‍♀️ suuuper aggressive! I was QUITE disappointed with the 85 eur pp menu. Snack size bites and many of them with questionable combinations of flavors. I can guarantee that you will leave semi hungry because everything is so tiny. Some things tasted quite good but holy molly it is so tiny I cannot get over it. When we asked for extra bread during the dinner cause we kept starving they gave us a weird look. They also forgot our drinks and when it got busy we struggled to get their attention to remind of those. All in all: unique, seasonal and tasty but way overpriced. WAY! 5 course dinner at a 1* michelin resto costs this much and you get way more and better The atmosphere is cool and their service is so so. So Green rose did not live up to it. (And yes before Green rose staff responds to this post telling me my name was not on any reservations please look up Joey Matla.) Not a business worth supporting for me.

This is a cozy restaurant. Good food, but not the cheapest. Not that many options for vegetarians though. When my girlfriend asked to change the ham of her meal into cheese, they waitress made it seem a weird question. Dinner options only available starting 16 o´clock. I really enjoyed my meal here, The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is a hustle bustle atmosphere. Secondly, the waiters were very friendly and helpful too. For me, the main star of the day was the food. I had a salmon dish as my main course and it had like 1 million flavours on the plate. It was so good. Highly recommend when passing through Arnhem .

I generally think this restaurant is good. They have varieties of foods and drinks. This restaurant also accommodates certain diets too. Taste is relatively okay, not bad but not amazing either. Price can be quite pricey. You can check the price/menu on their website. I also noticed that the waitresses sometimes don't have an overall overview of the customers, so if you sit quite far away from their central point, then it may be quite difficult to order or ask something. The restaurant is usually busy, so reservation is recommended.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Arnhem, delicious food and nice decor. The only downside to our visit was there was a dog sitting on the floor 2 tables further. I dont expect to see dogs in a restaurant, there are also no indications on the website that dogs would be allowed.

A modern, open and friendly place with good service and a great selection of nice food and drinks. In the center of town close to the main station and plenty of parking facilities. Also great for just a drink and night out with friends.

Truly a nice place to have formal and informal meetings. The place is vibrant with good music and great interiors. The staff are friendly and the food options are good including vegan options.

I’ve been here a few times with friends and it’s always had a cozy, welcoming feel. Some of the cocktails are great too :) Just wanted to share a little experience from my last visit. I don’t speak Dutch, so I’ve always spoken English when I come here. Usually, that’s no problem at all as the staff speaks English. This time though, the waitress seemed a bit off because she understood me perfectly when I spoke English, but replied with a pretty negative tone. Throughout the evening, she came to our table a few times and only spoke Dutch (even though it was clear I didn’t understand) and never looked at me when she spoke. At the very end, we paid and she said goodbye to my friend who speaks Dutch but didn’t even look my way. Maybe she was just having a bad day (it happens to all of us) but the whole interaction felt weird and funny at the same time. Not sure if I would go back after such a cold customer service experience.

I've eaten here more than 20 times over the years, and you always get delicious food for a very reasonable price! The portion sizes are quite big so my family and I always leave satisfied. I've tried almost the entire menu, and my personal favourite is the prawn ramen. The stone bowl beef and poké wan salmon are really amazing, too. I honestly haven't ever had a bad meal here, so no matter what you order I'm sure it will be good!

We went to Dadawan for the first time, and we really liked their food. We ordered takeout and got Tori Taraage, Poke Wan Salmon, and Stone Bowl Beef. They were all very tasty. I suggest trying this place.

The description of ingredients in the menu is incorrect. The Allergic ingredients were found in a sufficient amount, though we even asked waiter the dishes without it. We ordered vegetables, but got mostly rice with little vegetables on the top instead. The taste was specific, the asian kitchen, that we are not used tosian kitchen + Order arrived really fast - literally in 3-5 minutes, that was surprising. The staff is welcome and friendly.

Lets get the truth out at the start: the owmer of the place sucks and I hope he reads this! Now lets continue, the atmosphere is very cozy, I absolutely love the people working there and food... whichever I try it is AMAZING. Overall, just ignore the mood killer owner and enjoy the rest!

Very nice place, it's not the first time that I am going there. Great calm vibes, the dishes very authentic, both in a look and in a taste. The service always paying attention for you and you don't feel like you need to ask for it. Nice people around. I'm very recommend for this place, for eat or even just for a glass of wine or cup of coffee.

It’s super refreshing to see people doing what they really like. This is the feeling I had at Sugar Hill. Such nice retro atmosphere, the hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I came here with my 4- year old son for cake at 9:30 in the morning (during vacation time). It was not only the only place open, but the best service I have experienced in a long time.

Great restaurant, Spanish food and taste in Arnhem :) no need to travel far to enjoy real Spanish dishes! Some of them I find even better than I get in Spain! Staff super friendly, food brought was crispy fresh!

Perfect Spanish restaurant for a fancy yet casual dining experience. The food was great, although the portion sizes were on the smaller side. I would really recommend the berenjenas and chipirones. And for dessert the crema catalana was exceptional.

Surprisingly bad the 2nd time around. I have come to this restaurant before and enjoyed so I decided to come again during my visit to Arnhem. This 2nd visit both dishes we did not enjoy. The Gnocchi Bolognese didn’t resemble what you would expect and the pizza I could not tell if in fact it had any prosciutto at all. After trying to force ourselves a bit to eat we decided to give up and leave. Just to clarify the pizza bread was good only the ingredients combination for the prosciutto was not for my palate, but the gnocchi was a tragedy of a plate. We ended picking up something to eat on the way back to our hotel.

A pizza restaurant that didn't have pizzas available. That was just a letdown. Also the portions for the rest of the choices were ridiculous... and most of the stuff on the menu were overpriced, for example 28euro for a steak and an eggplant. Nevertheless the staff were friendly and fast.

Visited Cosi multiple times over the years, and it is one of my favorites in Arnhem. Great 'sfeer' for having a date, dinner with friends, or a wine and pasta alone. The food is tasty, affordable (you can make it affordable or more pricy; depending on what you choose), and fresh. There is nearby parking spots - and otherwise easy to reach with the bus from the central station, and a short walk from the bus stop. Most of the staff are very friendly and service minded. Can definitely recommend.

Just had my first experience at Così yesterday. It seems packed with people when I entered, a positive sign for a good experience waiting for me. - Vibe: love it, absolutely my style so I feel comfortable - Staff: very friendly and highly support. There're always staffs near by to help me to change the table or order. After the dishes are served for a while they will kindly ask about your experience so far, which is good snd very intuitive - Wine: I had Verdicchio which is very delish, nice paring with the pasta and pizza. It also leveraged the taste of the food after that - Food: In general, both pizza and pasta taste are adjusted to fit with people so it's less authentic than the ones I had in Rome. For pizza, I ordered Bresaola, the tomato sauce is nice but still sweet to me. I expected something more savory and strong. The carbonara has a huge portion of pasta and bacon sauce. Personally I prefer the carbonara more, as I stated more savory flavor than the pizza. - Dessert: as a dessert lover, I ordered tiramisu, pannacotta and semifreddo. Tiramisu is bitter than normal I think so I didn’t like the sponge cake with coffee syrup a lot, the mascarpone cheese is yummy and rich vice verse. Panama cotta is quite sweet somehow, which could be compensate when you order with the semifreddo. As the semifreddo is sour and not too sweet. In this competition, the winner is semifreddo ;) - Price: it is ~75e for my meal, including 5 glasses of Verdicchio, make sense to me with the good customer service like Così. I will pay other visits in the future to try other pizzas and pastas, kinda curious to find the more authentic taste

Great Italian place in Arnhem. Excellent pizzas and pasta dishes that are just bit different than the rest. Wine selection is good as well. Be sure to make reservation on time because the place is always packed.

Delicious food and good service for a reasonable price right in the middle of Arnhem city center (the restaurant is literally in the middle of the city center square). The terrace is really cute and comfortable for a summer/autumn night. I ordered the 3-course meal and was already full half way into the main course. Will definitely come back!

We were expecting an empty restaurant and OK food, given that it was a Wednesday and the restaurant's rather unique location and circular shape are reminiscent of the round pancake house located near the Heineken museum in Amsterdam... For tourists only. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was already half full. The service was prompt and friendly and the food quickly came.... And kept coming. There are complimentary snacks before the appetisers, and we couldn't begin to finish everything we ordered on the three course @ 32.50 p/p prix fixe menu. Was it amazing... No... Would we come back... Yes, in a heart beat. The food is quite decent and the retro decor.... Paris meets Las Vegas circa 1985... is charming in a way no hipster restaurant could ever dream of being. The crowd consisted of every age group.... And the fact that every table and bar seat was taken created an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended.... Snobs need not come. Apparently weekends are even busier. Vive la Paris Vieux!

French cuisine restaurant with a warm atmosphere. They have a 3courses menu with quite a lot of choice, also with a vegetarian one for each. Food is ok but not at a french level. A restaurant from France would never put you fries or vegetables from the freezer as a side dish. Personal is nice and friendly. They make "full" us of the inside space setting the tables too close to each other, so better you seat outside.

We live right around the corner from Brasserie Vieux Paris so we didn't make reservations (I would suggest you do) but they still had tables available and we got a nice table for two. Unfortunately after we were seated they forgot about us, and my fiancé had to get up and approach one of the waiters to ask if we could order. After that we received great service and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. This restaurant has a 3 course dinner menu with a set price. You *have to* order a starter, a main and a dessert so I suggest you come hungry. The food was really good. All the mains come with 5 side dishes, we got a cucumber and tomato salad, green beans and carrots, cinnamon apple bake, potato bake and fries. This was great value for money and I can highly recommend going here.

FortVier is a great place to spend time any time of day. The staff is very friendly, the space is welcoming and spacious, and the restaurant is beautifully located by the water. The menu is great too, including some nice kids picks. When I visit in the morning, with other moms from the international school, it’s cakes and coffee. In the evening, you can’t go wrong with a steak and Camembert/honey. Sensational! Their amaretto sour’s is remarkable by the way.

Spontaneous 5 course dinner on a Friday night. Overall I recommend you visit Cuisson if you can. Lovely food and very nice wine pairing. All of the dishes were very well balanced, but if I had to give feedback I would suggest reviewing placement of elements of the dish on the plate (in some of the dishes) to ensure the optimal flavor balance. The team works very hard, but they were a bit understaffed so service did feel a bit rushed at times. I believe it comes from a good heart, because the Cuisson team wants everyone to have a nice experience. All in all, I will be eating here again!

Great place in Arnhem with friendly service. The food was good, but some dishes shined over others. Favorite course - "Crayfish marmalade" - great textures with pleasant acidity from kimchi and pickled cucumber. Least favorite course - Chicken cordon Bleu with hazelnut. The chicken was rather bland and the hazelnut felt like an odd pairing. On a final note, while the prices were in line with expectation, there are no menus (everything is set by the chef), so you may want to ask about pricing before you jump in.

We ate at Cuisson tonight and if was great! The chef's creations were outstanding (both presentation and taste). Both the chef and the staff were kind and professional and we are truly delighted. Our favorite restaurant hands down! (Trust the restaurant with the wine pairing... they have great taste) ❤️ We couldn't be happier...

The food would have been quite nice in a mainstream restaurant, but as Cuisson tries to place itself in the league of extraordinary culinary delights with very small portions, I cannot give a more generous evaluation. In the crab dish starter were supposed to be exotic ingredients like wasabi and yuzu, two very definite flavours, but I couldn't taste eith of them. This was the same with every course to follow - nice normal food but very underwhelming when considering what the chef tells you in detail about all the very special ingredients. If you have eaten and enjoyed food at the likes of Beulings or Johan's in Amsterdam, you will come away disappointed here.

Needed to wait for the train so stop by for drink here. It's Sunday afternoon so quiet, we sat at hotel's lobby. Take some time for our order to arrive, paid with waiter when we got our drinks already so when we finish we can just go, don't need to wait for pay. It's ok price here.

The starter and intermediate (the beetroot and pumpkin stuff) in chef's menu were really mediocre and not worth the price. The jus for a main wasn't tasty at all either. Polenta was really good and mullet was tasty. They didn't tell anything about the concept of the place.

An expensive restaurant which is worth the time and prices. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is very well made and mostly locally sourced (hence the name). The modern Dutch courses were a joy to consume and I left with a satisfied and happy feeling.

Great wine. Nice location and ambiance. The borrel plank was plentiful but would have been even better with a nice cracker or bread. The service is friendly but can be hit and miss if you are sitting outside.

Incredible service with all staff speaking great English. We did the three course dinner and it was tasty. The horse radish and raspberry sorbet was very interesting, my partner loved it. Lovely restaurant with a nice finish and an interesting "premium cousine meets all you can eat" concept. However, the experience left me confused. The quality of the ingredients and flavors was very good, yet the portions were small and you had to wait at least 30min for the next dish to arrive. After 1h waiting for a first dish, I wished I had a normal sized portions ordered at once with no artificial waiting in between. The worst was that the dishes were coming luke warm, which didn't go well with the oily sauces sprinkled over everything, as the fat started to solidify. Overall, it could have been a good experience with few easy fixes, but as it was, the food was not enjoyable.

The idea is nice - you get to try several different dishes, which is cool. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they recommended dishes to try. Ordered the schnitzel (with mushrooms and bacon) which was (really) burnt. We said this and a new plate was brought out (quickly). However, there was no bacon (we were told it was in the sauce) and there was only one mushroom, so it was a little disappointing that it didn’t quite match the description on the menu. I understand the portions are meant to be small however this was a surprise. On the plus side, the desserts (tartlette and caramel ice-cream) were really tasty. Overall, the food was nice but not convinced it was worth the price paid.

Restaurant with a cool concept. The quality of the dishes was mixed, unfortunately (got a burned schnitzel and squishy pizza made of pastry dough?!). "Fine dining" does not really fit with this restaurant I think. I was also a bit annoyed by their no tap water policy. Why would one need to buy a big bottle of chaudfontaine if you ask for some water next to your wine? Not worth the money, to be honest. But! The people who served us were very nice.

Highly recommend. Never been to a restaurant with this concept before however was not disappointed at all. Great food: all so well made and presented. Flavours compliment each other. Great twists on some classics (fish and chips, and eggs benedict). Staff were attentive and offer recommendations for both the food and drinks. Definitely will be coming back!

Great location in the heart of Klarendal. Huge windows plus a strategically covered terrace. Very friendly staff and comfortable seats inside. Menu could use some excitement, but the food tastes good and is served impeccably (though a bit slow if the terrace is open).

loved the vegetarian options, also the Rendang was very nice in flavour. The salad was a bit sad and dry which left me thirsty after finishing the bread and omelet that i chose, but i would definitely come again and try different items on the menu. Lovely atmosphere. Stopped here for an early breakfast after a sunrise walk at Posbank. Super friendly, warm and attentive service, great coffee and had a delicious breakfast. Nice restaurant in Klarendal (North Arnhem). Good food with nice waitresses. We had a sandwich and the beef burger. Both was delicious but also a bit expensive. Still we recommend it!

A great place to work from or to have some drinks with friends. Cosy atmosphere and great beers. It's difficult to find a seat as it's a famous spot among locals.

Lovely atmosphere and great menu which we would've loved to sample. Disappointingly, the server was more interested in talking to patrons than taking our order so we had to leave without actually eating anything. He offered to comp our drinks which was nice. Maybe next time...

The service here is great, we had a really sweet and amicable waitress. The food is good too. I ate some Dutch croquettes. While I did not have any coming to god moments from my meal it was still pleasant and tasty. The apple pie, however, was absolutely to die for.

Great atmosphere! It’s a classic! Open until late and in the heat of town. Definitely recommend. Also a nice place to work or just read a book or news paper.

I come here often for coffee and cake, and I usually have a great experience. From the cafés I've tried in Arnhem they have the biggest variety of cakes, and all of them are really tasty. I especially love their Black Velvet cake. The coffee is great too. The only bad experience I had was when I ordered chai tea and it had so much cinnamon it I couldn't drink it. The service is also friendly.

The restaurant is spacious and well-suited for large groups. We arrived on a Sunday evening at 6:00 pm without a reservation and were seated immediately. The food was decent, though I would suggest enhancing the tomato sauce in the pasta dishes, as it lacked a standout flavor. That said, this restaurant is exceptionally family-friendly, offering kid-approved options like Nutella pizza and even featuring a children's playground on the second floor. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the experience enjoyable overall.

Very disappointing experience. My friend invited me out to eat here today, and while the food was just okay, the service was frustrating. My friend had a "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" pizza coupon, but I didn’t know about it at the time. When it came time to pay, I went ahead and paid before my friend remembered the coupon. As someone who has worked in many restaurants before, I know that it's just part of the job to ensure customers get the best experience. In most places, staff will at least ask if there are any discounts or promotions before finalizing payment. But here? Nothing. And when we brought it up afterward, they simply dismissed it, saying it would "confuse customers" if employees asked about coupons. So, apparently, it's better for the restaurant to hide their promotion programs instead of accommodating Absolutely ridiculous. Nothing was resolved, and the lack of care from the staff made it even worse.

Had a great time. Food was great and there was something for everyone in my group. It's also really big so it was easy to find a spot with my group without reservation. It does slightly feel like a mass production type place because it's so big but the food definitely wasn't like that. All around, we had a great time

Food came out quickly and tasted pretty good and service was friendly for the most part but their system of seating guests was a little odd. They would seat guests with reservations first which I understand but after they seated the guests with reservations, you would think they would take the walk-in guests next, right? Nope. They just let the walk-in guests wait on the side while they wait for more people to come into the restaurant then ask them if they had reservations then seat them if they did. After awhile of waiting then the hostess seated the walk-in guests. It’s a pretty big restaurant. I don’t see why they couldn’t seat everyone consecutively and made people wait. Pasta also came in a generous portion. I wanted to try the pizza but I saw other guests leave the crust so I wondered if the crust was too chewy or hard.

I've been there twice, and both times the staff were very rude. The second time, I didn’t enter through the main door but through a side door about 1 meter away. The staff immediately told me they were closed. I checked my phone—it was 12:10 PM, and their Google hours showed they opened at 12. When I asked again, "Didn’t you open at 12?" she finally said, "Use the other door." It was clear she didn’t want to serve us, so I just left with my friend. The food is nice, But they should train their staff.

They said there’s no place to sit unless you have a reservation, okay. So I made one for 40 minutes later and waited. Then I ordered a pizza, but it took 30 minutes to arrive. When I asked them about the average preparation time for a pizza, they said 5–10 minutes. I saw something in the restaurant that said “Fast Italian” or something like that — just made me smile :) The pizza wasn’t bad tho, good value for money.

I've used SocialDeal to eat here together with my friend. We ordered pizza and pasta, and I found the food very nice. They're certainly not mind-blowing, but for the price, I think it's relatively good. The portion of the foods is large, I think 1 pizza can easily be consumed by 2 people (but of course its different per person.) The waiting time was also okay, but during busy time, it can take awhile. Overall, it's a nice experience.

We came here as a family of four for High Tea on Mother's Day. After being seated, we waited for a full 30 minutes before getting served a small bowl of soup each. Another 45 mins later and after asking the server twice when we were getting the next dishes, we finally got our food. The server practically threw the plates on the table and disappeared without explaining what the items were. I overheard another waitress for the table next to us telling the guests what each of the food items were so it was disappointing we weren't extended the same courtesy. Also our "High Tea" wasn't served on tiered platters as I expected, which detracted from the whole experience. (I asked when we paid why we didn't get our food on the tiered serving platter and the waitress said they ran out of them). We weren't asked once during eating if everything was ok, if the food was nice etc. I understand it was busy but this was unacceptable. The service was subpar to say the least. Such a pity as the surroundings in the park are beautiful and the food was reasonable. The white asparagus soup was very tasty. We won't be returning.

The food was great! One of the best that I have eten here in the Netherlands. However from my perspective it was a little expensive for the quantity. I usually eat a lot, so I was not satisfied. But it is nice to try.

Amazing cheesecake, one of the best I've ever had. Atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the staff was kind allowing my dogs to come inside and sit at the table. Price is a tad on the expensive side but the cheesecake was totally worth it ;)

Overall experience was ok. The staff was really friendly but sadly really badly organised. We waited over 15 min for even being recognized, while already having asked for the menue twice. They kept on forgetting to bring the cuddlery and mixed up the dishes, so it was all a bit of a friendly chaos. The quality of the burger was great, really enjoyed it! The price not so much. 24 € for a burger without the fries is, from my perspective, just to much.

Best burger in Arnhem and probably one of the 10 best I ever tried. There are 3-4 burgers with awards that you cannot forget once you try them. Passion for details make the taste unique. I will go there again as I tried only 2 up to now out of the 4 awarded. And as soon as these will be "checked" I will start surfing the rest of the burger menu. We had dinner outside which was also nice. It feels a bit like in the middle of the street but the separation is quite accurate. Good young service willing to make the things right was also enjoyable .

Absolutely delicious burgers! So tasty! The side salad was awesome too and the most crunchiest sweet potato fries ever. The staff were friendly but we asked for the food to come altogether but the waitress got that wrong so we did wait a bit longer but still the food was amazing!

This place still has the best burgers I've tried in my life. The only critic I can think of is that they've fried the fries too long for one of the half dozen times I've been there. Pretty much all of their burgers are great, actually medium rare, and not dry like a lot of other places. The staff is always friendly and don't mind if you adjust your burger a little if you don't like something.

Passing through for food, saw this place where they say is the best burgers. Inside is dark, but nice industrial decor. The staff were kind to talk in English with us, we ordered the Angry Angus and the vegetarian burger. Timing to wait was not long. They were served on a plate with no garnish or sides so be aware should you wish to eat there. Normally, we would accept the burger alone but for the price you pay is absolutely shocking. For both burgers, the cost came to around 44 euros, the most expensive we have ever paid for a basic burger. I would have ordered a coffee but when I saw that the flat white was 4.80 I laughed. For a specialised coffee of that cost, I was not risking being disappointed again. The price is ridiculous for a burger alone, fries are not expensive they can easily be added or with something else on the plate. It looks a cosy place to share a wine but I would recommend to eat somewhere else where you get value for your money first.

I went to have dinner here with a girlfriend of mine and my very young son (3 months) the place was lively with good music and a lot of happy guests, who were extremely understanding of my crying son. The service is impeccable, everyone spoke English, although I did try to practice my Dutch! The waiters were kind and attentive. And now, the food- absolutely delicious! I had scallops as a starter which was succulent and my friend had the tuna, which I tried and it was amazing- much better than I had anticipated! Then I ordered the tournedos as a main, which at first came overcooked (I ordered it red) and when I told the waiter he didn’t even think twice- he took my plate and my friends (she ordered the salmon) and said “let us make it fresh for you, our apologies”… and they brought us two new plates and extra fries, and needless to say the food was really amazing! Top notch restaurant***** I definitely highly recommend this place and I am really looking forward to going back to try some other plates… also! Prices are really fair! For the quality they serve they could definitely charge more (and I wouldn’t be mad about it) go quickly, reserve a table!

This restaurant is located in one if the hidden streets in the center of Arnhem. The space inside is very narrow and the tables are quite close to each other, so you don't feel the privacy. The food was tasty. We had beefstew, very delicious, and seabaas, tasty but the quantity of fish was quite small. Also spare ribs were appreciated.

Had dinner here on Saturday night. Place was packed and we enjoyed our food tremendously in a homey atmosphere. Being new dog-owners we were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with open arms together with our dog. I recommend the hazelnut parfait.

Always a good place to visit for drinks and some nice food. Fan of their Dark n Stormy as well as the Moscow Mule. Cesar salad is quite nice and very full, always a good choice. Service depends on the amount of people they have, sometimes very speedy sometimes slow, but you can always use the QR to order.

I gave 4 to the food because I only tried their lunch menu. The food is delicious and I also tried their piña colada and it is good enough for me.

Came in for late night food, the server did a great job and suggested a few other places to try. None were open so went back and had bar a snacks. It was very filling, good cocktails and really good staff.

Nice little pub with friendly staff. They have very good heaters outside which makes it perfect to sit outside even on a cold day. On my second visit we sat inside and had a few drinks and had the sharing platter which was the perfect amount of snack food for 3 people! The gluhwein was nice, quite strong and came with a chocolate biscuit. The service wasn’t amazing but decent for a pub. There are QR codes on the table which you can scan to get the menu online where you can then change the language or even order online and get everything delivered to your table. The toilets were clean.

Food and Atmosphere was fine. We had 2 dishes that we couldn’t finish and asked to pack them up for take away. But the server threw it away. Understood it was by mistake but the food already took 30/40 minutes to get made and we didn’t had time to wait again for them to make it and we also didn’t get any computation.

Actually the meat from local farm was very good and tasty. Instead of fries I tried de rucolapuree which turned out well. Good value for money. Disappointing was dining between heavy smokers on the terrace, we had to relocate inside to escape the smoke.

Went for a 5 course menu consisting of 2 starters, 2 main courses, dessert and "limited drinks" included (the limit is only on what's available and not the quantity). My girlfriend and I have never been before, reserved a table at a whim and went to 55 degrees. We have another place here in Arnhem we usually go to, but we felt like changing it up - They did NOT disappoint at all. While it's a tiny bit loud (just means everyone is having fun and enjoying themselves), the atmosphere was nice, and I didn't feel neglected by the amazing staff, which can happen when visiting a busy restaurant. We had the pleasure of 3 waiters, and all of them was super friendly, professional and accommodating. 55 degrees also has English menus in the restaurant (but not online, and Google translate really butchers the menu) and despite having issues pronouncing some of the ingredients/condiments the staff really tried their best at explaining the menu for me even when describing my GFs dish in English while she's native Dutch 😅 Naturally I can't comment on the size of plates for Ala carte, but if going for a menu course I would highly recommend going for 5 courses and "getting your drink on"! Plates are a tiny bit small, but that's to expected both for the prices and what's included. One final note: We came in 15 min early, and wasn't sure if our reservations went through. It did, and we got seated immediately! No fuzz, no sour faces. Just really professional. Definitely saving this place in my memory, for whenever we can't decide where to go to spend and amazing evening!

What a gem with phenomenal value for your €€€! We ate here during our small getaway to the Hoge Veluwe. Did not expect it would be such an amazing restaurant. We chose the 5-dishes menu option including drinks, where we can choose our own dishes. My favorite was the hertenbiefstuk (no pic) as a main course. It was so tasty! The portions are also reasonable, I definitely left super full. Most of the dishes have different textures and flavor profiles which harmoniously come together. For barely €65 pp on the weekdays for 5 amazing dishes (2 appt, 2 mains and 1 dessert) + unlimited wines/beers/non-alcoholic drinks (for abt 2.5hrs?) the value is amazing!!! Definitely haven’t found something like this in the expensive Randstad. Atmosphere was quite cozy and a tad of sophistication. Service was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Truly recommended!!!

Booked the restaurant 2 hours ago , when we arrived at the door , the service personnel already expected us and open the door for us !! What a nice welcome !!! After the personnel explained us the menu , we decided to have 4 courses menu with beverages package ! After tasting 2 meals ! We got really astonished with the amazing flavors of the food and we decided go all the way to 5 courses ! The food is so unbelievable tasty and high quality ! The chef is so creative and wonderful presented ! We are totally in love with it !! The service is no doubt friendly and professional! Ambience is so fine and comfortable! Fantastic! It’s a “tasting menu” as opposed to a “filling menu”, which means the portions are small but food is great. We had the 5 course and drinks combination. I especially recommend the ‘Tuna Tataki’ starter and ‘Steak’ main. Came here for a business dinner and it didn’t disappoint with our waitress being delightful. The atmosphere is sophisticated but comfortable and would suitable for business dinners, dates or dinner parties. I highly recommend and I’ll be back so I might run into you here 😅.

The flavors are very well put together, presentation even better, and the best part is the staff that present to detail what is on your plate. Lovely place with cozy ambiance. We chose 5 courses menu and we were quite full. The food were pretty and taste good especially the mushroom toast. The staffs were helpful and so friendly, very good service. However the dessert with fried banana overall was missing the sweetness, the lemon juice drop on top of choco crumbs made it so sour and i found it weird.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and I'm not disappointed. I think this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Arnhem. This is a very nice restaurant that offers really tasty Italian cuisines. Restaurant is quite small, so reservation in advance is important. They have pasta and pizza with a perfect portion. I normally couldn't finish my plate since the Dutch portion is mostly quite big, but this one I actually can finish up all my pasta. The service is also nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

What an amazing experience! The place has a real wow factor the moment you walk in! It’s beautifully decorated and refined. The welcome was unforgettable, with genuinely smiling people who make you feel at home right away. We had the 9-course menu with wine pairing. The food was absolutely terrific, and being served several times by the chef himself made it even more special. The wine pairings were very good overall. We had 5 wines for 9 courses, and while I understand the challenge of matching each wine to more than one dish, a few pairings were just okay rather than outstanding. There’s great attention to detail! I loved receiving an envelope with my name at the end, such a thoughtful touch. Throughout the entire meal, you can feel the team’s passion and enthusiasm. Everyone brings great energy and genuine care, which creates a warm and uplifting atmosphere that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The Noordzeekrab starter (lime caviar, Dutch wasabi & green apple) offered a clean, vibrant start, while the Lam main (lemon, cumin, peas, tarragon & garlic) was rich yet fresh. The Bietenrassen salad added earthiness that tied things together nicely. The Ribeye (shallot, hazelnut, sherry) hit the right balance of juicy and. Every plate showcased thoughtful cooking and quality ingredients. Service was polished and relaxed. Altogether, an impressive dining experience that’s refined without feeling overly formal. I’m glad the Church has been saved and many elements of its history in tact.

Buying indulgences has never tasted so good! I was fortunate enough to sit at the Chef's Table where I got to watch the careful preparations and ask questions about my 9 course tasting menu. Bart Leussink's team creates very careful compositions with beautiful ingredients, sometimes using delightful contrasts in texture. Highlights for me were the yellowtail in a umami-bomb broth, the smoked thinly sliced rib eye, lamb with crunchy chimichurri, and lobster with gel topping. I was happy to have the sommelier lead me through a variety of excellent wines. A divine experience in a heavenly space, highly recommended.

Wow, what an excellent experience we had at The Church. The chef’s dinner experience was simply superb. We chose a nine-course meal but in fact it ended up as eleven dishes (counting in mouse bouche at the beginning and a cheese platter added at the end). Each dish on the menu was carefully prepared and well-studied in advance to deliver beautiful presentation plus a fine balance of flavours. One of our favourite dishes was the yellowtail sashimi with dashi broth. I grew up in Japan, so I know well the fundamental taste of dashi, and the chefs at this restaurant nailed it. It had a complex umami profile like traditional Japanese dashi, but they made it gentle enough to work with a raw fish. It was a good surprise and creative, especially when we are often fixated with the idea that sashimi goes with soy sauce and wasabi. Bravo! What also makes this restaurant unique is the fact that it’s inside a historic building that was a former church in Arnhem. The property even has rooms to book and stay so it operates as a boutique hotel as well. Even though the main space which is used as the reception/kitchen/dining room is fashionably renovated with playful and modern touches, we could feel the calm and divine energy of the space as soon as we entered the building. A truly surreal and remarkable place to drink, feast, and dream. We chose to dine at the special counter seating where we had a front row seat watching the well-orchestrated team prepare food. And of course, they were happy to interact and communicate with us as well, making the experience feel like you were being served a private meal in an exclusive kitchen. Chef Bart obviously is skilled and talented and busy in the kitchen. But also very open, he knows how to make his guests feel welcome. Our sommelier was also friendly and fantastic. She had no problem answering all our silly questions and delivered wines that paired in perfect harmony with dishes created by Chef Bart. We highly recommend reserving a seat at the chef’s table for these reasons. We were also very touched by their gesture to honour Remembrance Day (May 4th). We were informed in advance that at 8pm, they will stop working to respect 2-minutes of silence and remember those who lost their lives during WWII. This is a Dutch tradition that happens throughout the Netherlands. When the time came, the music stopped, and the restaurant staff removed themselves from the service area. The dining space became a chapel again for these two minutes. It is touching when much of the world seems to have forgotten the tragedy of the war but here the Dutch still remember. I respect them for keeping this tradition in practice. Thank you Bart and Janiek, and of course your fantastic team, you all went beyond and above and we had an amazing evening. We think The Church deserves great recognition, which we are sure is coming at large in the future. We will definitely come back again when visiting the Netherlands next time.

The skill of combining the flavour was just one of the top achievements in The Church. As a first timer it was just one of the best eye opening events I experienced in the restaurant industry. The attention to detail, service, passion and interaction from the employees was amazing. Highly recommend the experience.

Prices and portions are reasonable. Ambiance inside is dark and grungy but I sat on the patio which was a lot nicer. The male server that took my order was polite but the older lady inside which I’m guessing is the owner was totally the opposite. After my meal I brought my dirty dishes in as a courtesy and I had to pay anyway. The older lady never said a single word to me the entire time nor did she smile at all. She wasn’t grateful I brought the dishes in or told me how much the bill was. She just pointed the credit card terminal at me so I could tap to pay all the while looking unhappy and miserable.

The food was amazing!!!!!!! I had roast duck rice here. Portion was so generous I probably had enough to make up 3 meals. Would I award them with a Michelin star? Unlikely. But if I wanted roast duck, THIS was exactly it. My local friends have been coming here for a long time and they swear by this place. Unassuming little restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. I also tried their tom yam soup, it was on the sweeter side but really good nonetheless.

Very nice cozy Asian restaurant in the city center. They do dine in, takeout and delivery. I've done all three and my experience has been lovely every time. Every single person I've ever brought to this restaurant has loved it. The food is delicious and flavorful, and the portion sizes are nice and big. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy. They also have a large variety of dishes, as well as quite some vegetarian/pescetarian options which is amazing. The prices are also quite affordable. Overall a lovely restaurant and I will continue to eat here.

This could be great, but the staff is too busy. We had a 7-course menu, starting at 7 and finishing at 11:20. At one point, our plates were left empty in front of us for 20-25 minutes, with no drinks (just like many other tables). I eventually went to the waiter to ask if we could get the next dish. They should have one waiter dedicated to the restaurant, rather than sharing staff with the bar, brasserie, and another room. Maybe we were just unlucky, but timing is everything, and it brought the entire experience down, no matter how good your food is. The staff is very kind, and the dishes are good, but if you want an upscale restaurant in your hotel, you also need to ensure it is managed like one. I hope they can improve this in the future.

Turns out everything is extremely salty (this platter is meant for 2 persons, but the salt it contains might be several times above the normal daily intake of 2 persons), and it feels like it's made by putting several items from AH together.

After visiting the zoo with my family we looked for a nice place for a late lunch and we were very happy to find this restaurant.. good quality.. we had pastas and pizza and it was great and we didn't have to wait a long time. The kids also enjoy their ice cream for dessert.

The waitress welcome us with a smile and give us a table. Chicken tender and juicy and the mozzarella salad it was a poem!! Visited the restaurant while vacations I Arnheim. I really was surprised how good the food is because I don’t exeptet that much. But the food was fresh, tasty and the workers was really friendly. In my opinion a must go restaurant when you re in Arnheim. I will definitely come back when I’m in that corner of the netherlands again.
