Exceptional dinner meniu. We had a wonderful evening, experiencing countless different flavors. Surrounded by stunning views of the sea horizons. Amazing local wines. Helpful, pleasant, friendly service. The whole atmosphere was grate.

Wow!! Cannot get over how amazing our lunch was today. Amazing amazing views. Great vibe and exceptional service by the staff. Also the best duck I’ve ever had. Having a G&T to start the lunch with these views was such a vibe let me tell you! Won’t regret trying this place. Also the parking situation was amazing. They have dedicated parking for people who have an advanced reservation with the restaurant. They leave your name with the parking attendant at front, you just say your name, don’t have to pay 10 EUR and get parking right out the front of the restaurant. We went early and enjoyed the walk around the view point and Calanques.

Everything was perfect during our visit. The welcome was warm, the attention to detail from the staff who prepared and those who served was exceptional. The food tasted as good as it looked and believe me,visually, the dishes were works of art! See my pictures. I would strongly recommend this as a restaurant offering great ambience and food to match. Well done to all concerned! I cannot think of anything that could have been done better. Oh and did I mention the cheese board?Oh my word! Sublime!

Our set lunch menu was as tasty and beautifully as the view was marvelous. Exciting tastes with meticulous attention to the details. An addition from the wide selection of cheeses made the meal complete. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Clearly a restaurant with high ambitions, witch I believe they reacted.

The view and setting are absolutely breathtaking, worth every penny. I recommend booking an early dinner to fully enjoy the sunset 🌅 and stunning sea views. The food was delicious, with the grilled tomato being a standout. I appreciate the concept of offering two set menus to choose from. However, the service could be improved by having two designated serving times. This would allow the kitchen to bring out food for all guests simultaneously, which would save time, especially considering the terrace has over 50 seats. Staggered arrivals make it challenging to serve everyone smoothly ☺️.

If you are in cassis and looking for a place to picnic with nice views here is the place. Recommend time is before sunset and you can see the colors at the mountains turn to be golden. Need to prepare for a comfortable mattress or pillow as it rocky area, not an easy to find a way to get in to the water but you should try.

Fantastic views from this wonderful location on the edge of Cassis. The food really is exceptional and the service immaculate - there’s even complimentary parking! We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon!

The place is absolutely stunning. However, the food is rather mediocre. Bad value for money, to be honest. The price for the main course is 60 euros, we both got fish and it was partially raw. Unfortunately we didn’t finish the plate. The staff is kind, however we had to ask 5 times for the umbrellas to be moved to be protected from sun. 5 times….

I would highly recommend this restaurant as a date night. I took my fiancee and we loved the food. The view and ambiance of course are amazing but the service was incredible as well! Our waitress was very attentive and one of the best services we have had in France. Cocktails are top notch. That being said, everything is expensive but as a night to remember out, I think it is totally worth it!

Excellent! Our table offered just the right amount of privacy while still feeling connected to the restaurant’s cosy atmosphere. The deep sea prawn starter was outstanding, and oh the bouillabaisse!!! you could literally taste the sea in every bite. For dessert we had the vanilla cake (fab) & fig sabayon. Both understate, but over deliver. And if you’re lucky to have Tom and Babaka serving you, well that’s just the cherry on top. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive—refilling glasses with a knowing smile and giving us space during those lingering moments between courses. When service shines, it transforms any meal into an unforgettable experience. I’d highly recommend this spot.

Great food and spectacular views. We ate on the balcony, with a superb view of the ocean and the cliffs. I had the wild sea bass, which was the best meal I had on our trip to France. Also had a "lemon meringue tart" cocktail which was terrific. Service was friendly and impeccable. The restaurant is attached to a 5-star hotel called Les Roches Blanches, which seems like an amazing place to stay as well.

We had a wonderful meal here. I’m not sure how anyone could find a flaw and write a bad review! Everything was beautiful! The food, service, the breathtaking views! We had the catch of the day and the Lemon Menton for dessert 😋 & my drink was delicious too! The Roucas! I hope to visit again one day!

Absolutely stunning ambiance with five star food and service. We very much enjoyed our meal at Les Belles Canailles. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and immediately seated at a beautiful table outside with a stunning Mediterranean view. Service was impeccable and the food is outstanding. We enjoyed Sea Bass, Short Ribs and Bouillabaisse. The understated elegance of the hotel and surroundings was perfect for our first evening in Cassis. Thank you!

The setting was unmatched with the expansive view of the mediterranean, the food and service were also outstanding. While pricey, it was well deserved and worth it. Highly recommend.

After a month touring France I feel very confidence saying this was my favorite restaurant. And I think the food was better than the two Michelin's I went to. We ordered the shrimp risotto, fish of the day, and house spritz.. all VERY delicious.

Welcoming and service was fantastic. The fish of the day (swordfish) was cooked to perfection a served with tasty and colourful accompaniments. The delicious tiger prawn was the size of a small lobster!! Great parpadelle.

This place isn’t just a scam, because of meh overpriced food. Much worse, after the dinner at O Rev (I had the Risotto with shrimps) I woke up in the middle of the night with a pretty nasty food poisoning. Won’t go into details here. What made matters worse was the ugly reaction by the owners. I respectfully let the waiters know that I had food poisoning, who first denied it could be from their kitchen. Once they informed the owner, instead of showing any remorse or understanding, they started raising their voice asking how I dared bringing this BS up at peak hour and rushed off with a condescending hand wave, that felt more like middle finger. Thanks for nothing and don‘t fall for this nice facade. Spare your wallet and your gut. Old review before food poisoning: When choosing the place that we discovered in a side street, we thought we would avoid the overpriced tourist traps. Far from it, unfortunately. I would have been happy to place the the amount I paid (~60€ per person) if the food was good, as it was a special occasion. But apart from the atmosphere and the artistic way the food is served, it was an utter disappointment. I had the shrimp risotto, which came lukewarm, with the risotto being overcooked and the overall meal quite bland. Although the waiters were quite friendly and the atmosphere was super lovely, because of the food I cannot give the place more than 2 stars.

One of the best meals I had in Cassis. Carpaccio entrée was sublime, as was the shrimp risotto, and the pear-salted caramel ice cream dessert was unforgettable. Everything was wonderfully balanced and beautifully presented. Tiny note that solo diners can only be seated inside, tables on the terasse are reserved for two or more.

This was our favorite meal in France. Come here for an engaging atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and outstanding food. I recommend sticking to the sea food, although the beef carpaccio was also delicious.

The best food in town, exceptional and quick service, which is rare in regular restaurants. Strongly recommend booking in advance. The food menu is small but greatly executed, fine dining with a provincial feel. I ran out of battery to take more photos but seriously the best restaurant in town and prices are good.

Charming restaurant just steps from the port in a pretty alley. Friendly service, and on of the best meals of our trip so far. Modern preparations with fresh fish. Inside is more festive with music but we liked outside for a relaxing family meal.

Phenomenal! From the staff, ambiance to the quality of the plates. The flavors were exceptional enhancing the protein. The staff was lovely and welcoming. This was one of the more memorable dining for my travels through Europe and one of the best quality for the price I’ve had anywhere. Would love to return again soon.

Hands down the best restaurant in Cassis Produces are locally sourced even the wine ! It is beautiful and romantic inside Service was wonderful … the harbor is wonderful for the views but for good seafood and a romantic dinner check the restaurants off the tourist strip … ask for local fish especially tuna cuts !!! You may end up lucky with some very expensive cuts of fish for under 30 euros

From the moment we got into the restaurant we realised it will be best ever meal. We were looking forward to visiting it! The octopus, steak, vegetables and drinks were amazing and awesome! We forgot about time, place, things…just let the atmosphere control us! The difference and spectre of tastes fascinates We truly recommend it to anyone anywhere! It’s worth visiting 🥹🥹🥹

We are so happy to come across this restaurant in Cassis. Excellent and friendly service! Special mention to Jimena! Her English is excellent and served us tip top! Their clam is the best!!! Oyster hour also a good deal for us. We love their house white wine and rose too! Do come by if you are in Cassis! We made new friends too from New York and California! Indeed enjoyable night here. Oh forgot to mention we were here for lunch as well. We returned here so you know how much we love their food and service! Their salads also damn good!

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from a restaurant in such a tourist-heavy area, but they truly surprised me. The charming, cinematic surroundings feel like something out of a movie scene. In the afternoon, they serve small dishes perfect for snacking with wine, which pairs wonderfully. Definitely worth a visit!

A tiny oyster bar serving oysters, other seafoods, and salads one street off the more touristy port in Cassis. The oysters were very good, and the charcuterie salad board was equally delicious and beautifully plated. A nice place to stop by for a quick bite after going to the beach.

I ordered La Planché Épicurienne and oysters — everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. A cozy spot with great atmosphere, definitely worth visiting in Cassis!

This was the best restaurant at which we ate while in Cassis. The food was terrific and fresh. The ambiance was perfect, and the service was courteous. It was one of the few places you could find a fresh variety of adventurous shellfish without a sit-down white tablecloth commitment. Highly recommend!

The bouillabaisse was an acquired taste so I won’t comment on it. Other than that, the tuna was great!

Stopped here for a drink during the day. As it was close to lunch time, the waiter wasn't inclined to allow us have seats without agreeing to order food. We ordered fries with our drinks, and he wasnt pleased and was very rude. Plenty of free seats around so there was no need to hold the seats like he was trying to do.

I don't understand the bad ratings - I found this place extremely good and would definitely come back. Even though I was there on a Friday evening and it was packed, the waiters always had an eye on us and we never needed to wait long to pass another order. We tried several cocktails that were all amazing - taste, decoration and ingredient wise (compared for instance to the little bar just on the right). The food was delicious as well, very flavorful and nicely arranged. And lastly the interior is very pretty too. Price wise there is not much difference to the other places close by, it's all a bit elevated 🤑 Really liked this bar 💗

The worst meal I have had in my life (only saving grace is I have not gotten food poising - as of yet). This flavorless meal will set you back about 30 euros and it should be a crime to even take a single cent. To top it off, the service people are not the friendliest.

Absolute gem on the harbour front in Cassis! We meant to only stay for a drink but we were delighted that we stayed for dinner too. Amazing service, ambiance and quality meal. We had the octopus and the seabream and both were INCREDIBLE!

I have been asking couple restaurants nearby, they all are not welcome us as we did not make reservations in advance. No reservations in advance for Saturday night in here, luckily, they can get a table for us even indoor, still great. We ordered fried fish, pan fried scallop and carbonara, they are all good indeed, though it takes time to prepare😅 We are not in hurry, this is fine. Actually this is a great place to have a drink and chat, great music to admire sunsets 🌇 In terms of price, pretty costly for a cocktail honestly. It's about €13 per glass, it's fine for us.

The good things about this place: the nice waiter, the bread and the location. However, we were unhappy about the service. They served another table first (french speaking costumers), the food was cold and average at most.

I was there on 30/10/19 with group of 10 people, and the order came out correctly. Well done! The food was creatively served. I ordered a duck breast medium in Lavender sauce, not my favourite because it was chewy. ( Staff had recommended rare, but I could not imagine myself eat rare duck) So lessen learnt. Listen to staff! Anyhow other dishes were good.

Best restaurant in Cassis. Located on a small street, behind the all well-known port of Cassis, this restaurant impressed us from the beginning. We asked for an infant chair, witch they provided immediately. The personal greet us with a warm smile, presenting us "Le plat du jour". The food was amazing, I'll let the pictures speak.

Very friendly welcome and in fact the service from all 3 men that served us was fantastic. One gave me tips on the best way to enjoy my fish soup, another kindly offered me a coffee on the set menu instead of dessert after a filling meal! Reasonably priced set menu and authentic terrace seating outside. A family run restaurant with the same family for the last 50 years which is clear to see. Simple fare but worth the visit.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. We didn’t have a reservation so they told us to come back in an hour. One hour later our table was ready. The service was great, the people were so nice! And the food was delicous! Best tuna I’ve ever had 😍 We all loved it there!

Excellent food, generous portions, very friendly yet professional service, my partner and I had a great evening at le chaudron. The crème brûlée is a must, one of the best one you can have in Cassis.

Mediocre food, way overpriced. The dishes we ordered, a truffle pasta and a grilled piece of fish, tasted shockingly bland considering the price we payed (38 € each for the two dishes). The spaghetti with some garlic and cheap olive oil we made in our hotel room the night before was much more satisfying and cost a twentieth of the price. I guess you are simply paying for the harbor view and the convenience here. The service was fine. Overall not terrible but definitely not worth the price.

In general, the atmosphere is great, just in front of Port de Cassis. The service was not too bad but not friendly enough. I was not hungry so I went for the salmon tataki but it is more likely the salmon steak. The price is pricey but compared to other restaurants it is the average price in Cassis

It s a tiny restaurant , few spots outside and for inside as well . The food is amazing , fresh and tasty . The portions are pretty good as well . If you are outside you are facing the tiny port and the sea . Short menu but a lot of choices at end between the Fish and meats . Even if the name is Italian , mainly it’s more local food and not Italian food . The fish were excellent . Very nice waiters as well , fast and polite , attentive to the customers . A bit pricey but worth it from my opinion

Great food, but rushed out before we were ready to leave We had a reservation for dinner, with no mention of any time limit. After finishing our meal, we weren’t asked if we’d like more drinks. Instead, we were given the bill without asking for it. A few minutes after paying, the waiter asked us to leave so the table could be given to waiting guests. A real shame, because the food and atmosphere were excellent. Tip: ask about time limits before booking.

A very nice place for dinner indeed! The burrata was creamy and delicious with the pesto sauce and veggies, the salmon appetiser was actually 2 huge fillets of salmon - wow! the sea bass was very nicely cooked and seasoned (but I wasn't too crazy about the risotto), and the truffle pasta was as creamy as can be. Our waiter was attentive and it was quite an enjoyable evening.

My gf and I we went there trusting on the reviews (now I regret it). I ordered a prawn risotto (38 euros) and I received salt with rice and three miserable prawns, probably they were as astonish by the level of salt in the dish as I. I am not a big foodie, so I am not so picky but that was very salty and when I highlighted to the server didn’t react ( expected). I am just a review but hope that they improve and if you go keep this comment in mind.

We had a lovely dinner at La Vieille Auberge during our stay in Cassis. The location couldn’t be better—right along the picturesque port, easy to find, and perfect for a relaxing meal with a view. I ordered the sea bass, and it was incredibly fresh—simply prepared with minimal seasoning, just the way it should be. A squeeze of fresh lemon was all it needed to shine. Every table gets fresh bread, which was a nice touch. The service really stood out—attentive and friendly. Our server even expertly deboned the fish at the table, which made it so much easier to enjoy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a price & quality, quality seafood, great service, and a beautiful setting!

The restaurant looks nice and the wine was good, but unfortunately that’s all I can say that was positive. If you don’t speak fluent French or go with a native speaker, the customer service is dismissive and neglectful. What should have been a magical evening was completely ruined by a very rude waiter with a terrible attitude, who made us feel as though we were bothering him by asking questions and generally inconveniencing him by being there and trying to speak French - to the point that we were afraid to complain about the quality of the food for fear of what he might say or of being completely dismissed . On the other hand he treated the French speaking couple next to us very nicely and they seemed pleased with their meal and had friendly discussion with the waiter. To make things worse, one of the dishes was unacceptable: poorly presented, a hard piece of meat, and an over-fried pile of fries. I didn’t send it back only because I didn’t want to deal with the waiter’s arrogance again. Overall, a very disappointing experience. A real shame — with better service and more care in the kitchen, this restaurant could live up to its setting and reputation.

We went to La Vieille Auberge for lunch during our day trip in Cassis, and had a great experience. The location is right along the port and easy to find. I ordered the sea bream and it was super fresh with very minimal seasoning, all it needed was just some fresh lemon. Every table get fresh bread and roasted vegetables in the house. The service was attentive, our server cut the fish up for us so it was easy to eat. Definitely recommend!

Best restaurant in Cassis!! I’ve been going there for years, never been disappointed! The food is super fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is warm. Their formulas (starter + main dish + dessert) are a great value for money. Don’t forget to make a reservation!

Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, good wine, a great selection and a nice location dockside in Cassis. It's a little calmer as well on this side of the Dock. We had the grilled Sardines and vegetarian lasagne. Both were delicious! A good rose by the glass as well.

Went for the fixed menu at €33, entree, main and dessert. Our waiter was fantastic, going into detail about the different fish on option. The fish soup was incredible, deep rich flavours. Followed by the fillet of the fish of the day, which was served with this saffron sauce. We're in Cassis for four nights and will be back before we leave.

Visited Le Bistrot de Nino looking for a good time with friends, unfortunately the food was abysmal. We ordered the prawn linguine and steak, and on top of a very long wait, the pasta was quite literally tasteless and the steak was cooked and seasoned poorly. However, the wait staff were very kind and accommodating and the view was amazing. Despite its good looks, I would not dine here again on account of the food. A very poor €200 spent.

We had a pleasure having dinner in this restaurant with amazing view and very friendly staff. We went for a catch of the day in combination with some very good local wine, and huge portion of dessert. We stayed in one of their rooms and sitting on our balcony we had a view of the restaurant. Watching tableside preparation of catch of the day drove us to the decision to try it one evening. Our waitress was wonderful and the sea bream was fresh, properly cooked with a generous helping of potatoes and vegetables. The view was magnificent.

Same as for all restaurants in cassis that are located around the harbor - they are low quality. Doesn’t matter how luxurious they might look like. Herr we had a good wine, was really good rose. The burger was like from the burger kind and the fish was the worst ever fish my wife ever had. This all is just sad that people will tell about the French cuisine. You can eat at good restaurants but sadly not here. French cuisine can be amazing and it’s a bit of shame that it is presented here like that. Sit here, drink a glass of wine or beer, enjoy the view and eat somewhere else😀

Aggghhhhh, where to start with how dreadful this was?! In a tourist town like Cassis, it’s not necessary to have Alain Ducasse in the kitchen to earn money. I knew thjs. I did some due diligence and it suggested Nino was one of the better restaurants on the port. It can’t be? It’s dreadful. Lackadaisical to non-existent service (And the sense they couldn’t care less because they will be busy anyway). Lukewarm beer and wine. Cold mussels in a moule mariniere, which surely they couldn’t mess up?! It’s hard to recall wasting my money in a place that cares so little about its food or customers. I had to go somewhere else after to eat straight after to check not everywhere in Cassis could be so awful. Thankfully there are clearly much better options.

We ordered a bottle of white wine and I had the sole a la meunière. The wine arrived too warm as if they had it placed in the ice bucket uncooled. Okay, the second bottle was cold. Then I got my fish. It was maximum half done. I sent it back. It arrived still not completely cooked. I left it on the plate. At least our good waiter had the decency of leaving it off the bill. So the service was okay the rest not so much.

Friendly and efficient service by hard-working English-speaking staff, but the food was really disappointing after a very long wait. Moules marinières: generous portion of small tasty mussels, but they were overcooked. Fritto misto: uninteresting, not crisp, seafood overcooked and tough. On the other hand, the local white wine was excellent. The port-side location is beautiful.

Authentic and unforgettable bouillabaisse experience. We came for the bouillabaisse — and it blew us away. Deep, rich broth, perfectly cooked seafood, and flavors that stick with you. Easily one of the best dishes we had during our entire trip. We were literally eating with our fingers — that good. On the flip side, the risotto didn’t land for us. Undercooked and underwhelming — definitely not the strong point of the kitchen. But the bouillabaisse? Absolutely worth the visit alone. Bonus: the staff were lovely and genuinely welcoming. You feel taken care of without any pretension. 💯 Will revisit — just skip the risotto and go straight for the sea.

This place was amazing. We went twice without a reservation and the staff were great at finding us a table both times. The food was superb, the waiters really friendly and the location was just far enough away from the tourist area to be more relaxed.

This place gives you the French seaside town bistro fantasy in a cute alley away from the blatantly touristy seafront so while the food was mid and expensive in my opinion, it didn’t matter. The boullibasse was watery, the seafood risotto bland and crunchy, and the calamari soggy, but I bet every place you can walk into would have similar if not identical food. You’re in Cassis, life is good, don’t sweat it too much.

This was our best dining experience in Cassis. We had excellent food that was fresh, regional and well made. It was reasonably priced and made for a great evening. The staff were great if not a little overstretched but that just shows the popularity of the place. We read somewhere that eating at a restaurant that isn’t on the waterfront will offer you something better and I completely agree and encourage everyone to come here.

Got there just after it opened and glad I did. For a Tuesday night, it filled up quickly and lots of people turned away. Had their seafood risotto and boullabaisse. Great meal.

The restaurant Mr. Brun is the perfect place to have all the see food dishes you can imagine, the menu is now amazing but honestly this is the right place to have oysters, shrimps, sea urchin, etc. the prices were quite fair and the location is right next to the Port so you can have an amazing lunch while the sun is shining. Servers were nice and the food came in time.

Great restaurant overlooking the port. Excellent food, and large portions. The steak tartare was fabulous as where the chips cooked in lard! Music choice was good to.

We were recommended Le Patio by our accommodation host and we are so happy with this reccy. We enjoyed the mussel starter and then the linguine aux gambas. It was so delicious. The ambience is lovely and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Le Patio was an exquisite experience- special in comparison to the many other dining experience we’ve had in Cassis. The ambiance cannot be beat, it is quaint and intimate, the service was truly exceptional and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Tuna Tartare!

While the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The service felt rushed and stressed, which took away from the relaxed dining vibe. Although the starters were quite good, the main courses were a real letdown. Both the pasta and the risotto were overcooked and drowned in grease. what a delightful experience — we went to have lunch here, and were welcomed into the little corner of the restaurant that had aircon (what a blessing) we ordered the stuffed mussels which came to our table still sizzling! the steak surprised me because while it looked sparse on that plate it was a tender piece of meat, the beans were delicious and the mash potatoes incredible — the seafood was delicious; the standout was the tuna with capers — with the octopus a close second place (it’s like a beef bourguignon with octopus) really friendly, prompt service and we didn’t wait long for our food to arrive

Fresh, quality ingredients and friendly service. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. That rare experience where our children (aged 11 & 13) were treated as humans with a lovely Menu Enfant of quality, tasty, well balanced meal and choice of dessert (no nuggets, fries, glace here!). The staff is the best feature of this gorgeous hotel. They are kind, friendly, and attentive. We had excellent service from Vlada, Nicholas, Florian, Adrian, and at the front desk from Leo! Having lived in Europe for many years, the people at Les Roches Blanches are rare. I am an American and at times have experienced a lack of patience and kindness from Europeans. Not here! The reception is fun with stylish quirky furnishings that don’t clash—they tell stories. Both pools (heated/sea water) overlook the pretty coastline. Our room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. It went above & beyond. Breakfast was beautifully prepared with high quality fare & a variety of delicious healthy options too. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon, poached eggs on demand, ginger shot, matcha oatmilk latte option (I added chia!), cheeseboard, mushrooms, & tomatoes that burst in your mouth like summer sunshine.. – & oh those pastrys! Hats off to the pastry chef who whisks artistry with sophistication. You’ve got to try the pistachio cream cronut - that was divine. The staff were polite, courteous, & on the ball. The hotel is clearly run by a GM who strives for (& achieves) perfection. For us, LRB was the best stay ever. An unforgettable blissful wellness experience that wafts with you long after you’ve gone. If I could give 6 stars..

Wow, I mean wow! This hotel is stunning and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They even have a shuttle to help wish you around. You won’t want to leave though, it’s just so fabulous! We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms and I was nervous after seeing some reviews, but the room was great, with a partial sea view and a thoughtful welcome gift. J would definitely return and recommend this gem. My only input is that if a guest shows up a little bit early, they’ll definitely want to go to the pool, so just be helpful with that option.

We stayed for 3 nights, though we could have easily stayed for a few more! The views are unbelievable and the service by the pool was great. The hotel is near great hikes which is highly recommended given the views (follow the blue trail). We ate at all the restaurants at the hotel and had a very good meal at them all! Also, concierge team is very helpful and accommodative!

We had a wonderful stay (for the 3rd time) at Les Roches Blanches. The location and views are unmatched and truly makes this hotel so special. The property is stunning and facilities are well maintained and cleaned. Majority of the staff is excellent - we had a few hiccups like slow service at breakfast, a concierge booking that wasn't made, and AC that didn't work well. With all of that said, I would return back again and again!

This was my 3rd summer in a row staying at Les Roches Blanches. Though I immediately fell in love with the hotel the first time I stayed in it, there were some glitches in service notably at the beach club and restaurants my first 2 times staying there. However, this year the service was perfect. Well executed without being stuffy and not providing "over service" which can also be annoying. I would equate the style of service at Les Roches Blanches as understated luxury and similar to what you find at Eden Rock in Saint Barths. I can now say that Les Roches Blanches is my favorite hotel in the world and I've already reserved for next summer!

La Maison – A Delightful Surprise in Cassis We happened upon La Maison while exploring the Cassis harbor on a windy afternoon, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The setting is stunning—right by the water, perfect for soaking up the sun and watching the world go by. The food was just as impressive. The salade de thon was fresh and flavorful, while the calamari was crispy and perfectly cooked. It all looked so good that we couldn’t resist taking a few bites before snapping photos! A nice bottle of wine rounded out the experience, making for a truly enjoyable meal. The service was equally fantastic. The host and waitress were warm, welcoming, and kind enough to speak to us in slow French, which we truly appreciated as we’re still learning. After such a wonderful experience, I was shocked to see some poor reviews—our visit felt like a completely different place! If you’re in Cassis, La Maison is absolutely worth a stop.

I can’t understand why the rating is low for this place because we had a nice time here and the burgers were so fresh! It is a bit on the pricier side but you are eating with a nice port view so for Cassis it’s justified.

Great location on the port with shade and views. Great cool breeze essential on hot days. Good food (the sleeper hit was the chickpea fries for appetizer which were fabulous). My burrata salad was not bad at all and looked gorgeous. However, the service started out very cold then, when we made the effort to make the wait staff smile, they warmed up to us. Still, I’d rather feel welcomed and loved than have to work to make it happen. So, dinging the place for the service. It’s all an energy exchange so, for your own good, please work on your welcoming vibes!

The food at this restaurant was not fresh. I ordered clam linguine and pudding ice cream, and later that night I felt very unwell, with stomach discomfort and nausea.

BEWARE OF FAKE ITEMS ON YOUR BILL! We ate here for lunch. Food was just okay, and the mussels were sadly worth passing. The service was on par with most other French restaurants. The setting on the water front was very nice. When we received the bill there was a €20 charge for what translates to “miscellaneous”. When we questioned the staff about it, they initially tried to deflect. Once they realized we had a fluent French speaker in the group, they were quick to remove the charge. Looks like they are adding scam fees to tourist bills. I certainly wouldn’t eat here again.

No card, cash only. Food very plain, and service at a low.

Another tourist trap, more of a fast food experience rather than restaurant dining, we had the Loup fish with which came with unseasoned salad (straight out of the plastic bag) and unsalted mushy fries. The service was an unwelcoming and unaccomadating, basically depending on the fact that there will always be another customer to take your place therefore they will not put the effort to host you probably. Not recommend.

The service at this restaurant was the worst I’ve experienced in France. They obviously ONLY want native French speakers. I know some French and was trying to order in French, trying not to be the ugly American expecting him the know English. He spoke very fast and got POed when we only ordered wine, berating us to the French patrons around us. The waiter did the same to other non natives in the restaurant. The waiter pushed a table against ours and was obviously trying to get us to leave. If you aren’t a native French speaker, avoid this place. I have no idea about the food and I won’t. Every other establishment we visited in France for two weeks at least seamed to appreciate the attempt to speak French and our business.

Typically rude. These men are so unhappy. Should change their lives. They have a minimum of 16 euros on card so if you want a quick drink and no cash, good luck. We had 7 euros cash and it was 8 euros. No way could they be kind and let us off. No, he made me walk to the bank 10 mins which is 6 euros fee to withdraw minimum of 20. Great. So back I came. They couldn’t care less. Still made me pay 12 euros for 8 euro drinks. Shouted at me on the way out after I expressed my frustration. Stay well clear. They don’t have to make an effort. Cassis does it for them.

This is a bring-your-own breakfast type of coffee shop in the mornings but the coffee can be a touch bitter occasionally, otherwise 5 stars. In the evenings this is one of the better value aperitif bars in Cassis. Great position. Great staff.

Just some fake waiter pretending the card machin doesn’t work because of the bad weather the day before. Come on, there’s no correlation between heavy raining and the card machine. Just be honest and say you prefer cash. Or better, just admit you wanted more cash so you don’t have to declare and pay taxes. So ridiculous to fake and give false excuses.

Nice location on old port. Traditional cocktails and drinks. They also have a limited menu and good ice cream. They have live music on weekends during summer and they also have large TV's for important games.

It is rare to say this in France, but we got two items from this bakery and they were not very good. We got pizza and an eclair.

They sell loose tea and coffee beans and only have tea and coffee on the menu but no espresso machine— just an automatic nespresso thing where they push a button. You should not specialize in tea and coffee and not even make a proper cafe. Thoroughly disappointed. Very cute place though and very nice woman— such a shame to be serving this.

The most disappointing coffee I’ve ever had. All the reviews are either fake or sponsored because no way this place knows how to do coffee. Even a normal store bought instant coffee would have more flavor. It was literally just water and a splash of coffee.

Good location as the hotel is within walking distance to the centre of town, The swimming pool, although we didn´t use it looked comfortable with a nice view. Room a little small for 2 tall people, but it was very clean and functional.

Very nice breakfast - one of the best of our trip - overlooking the pool and Mediterranean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location between the town and Plage du Bestouan. Reasonably priced. Parking available for a little extra. Pool was very nice - a bit on the cooler side. No real bar or restaurant but close to many. Room size was okay - with a little balcony. The current average google maps rating for this hotel is 4.1. I don’t know anything about the history of this hotel but, if you take a look, you’ll see that most of the lower ratings are from years ago. This hotel was very nice. The ‘current’ rating should be much higher than 4.1. Easily 4.5+ in my opinion. Great town - we loved it.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Above all, it’s the absolute perfect location for Cassis - in 15 years of trips to the town, this is the best location by far. It’s the best of all worlds - walkable, yet accessible by car; 5 min walk to the port in one direction and 5 min walk to Plage Bestouan / cafes near it / start of Calanques hike. It has the benefits of a major hotel chain while also feeling small and local. The main lobby view is heart-stopping; they open the entire wall to the fresh air and incredible view. The pool is one of the best hotel pools ever - ESPECIALLY for being 5 minutes from the center of a town in Europe - this amount of space is unheard of. The staff were incredible - helpful and so friendly. Professional but not pretentious. The breakfast was lovely. I stayed in the most basic room and it was perfectly adequate- good layout, nice air conditioning, good WiFi. I hope to have the chance to stay here many more times in my life!

Extremely pleased with this hotel. It was a big surprise for us. The location is amazing. The heated pool is incredible. It’s large and immaculate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Good size bathrooms. We were given an early check in when we arrived with our 2 babies. Downsides: small-ish bedrooms. The bedding is synthetic. Pillows aren’t great. Views on parking lot. Small balcony (can barely accommodate 2 chairs). Would still def def recommend!

The hotel is overall very nice: not loud, but close to the main town center. The pool is beautiful, breakfast has a wide array of options. Nice views from the pool and the breakfast area/lobby. Plenty of parking. Good blackout shades. Downsides: the rooms are quite small, and the beds are a bit hard, as are the pillows. No drawers to unpack. The rooms look out onto the road, not the sea, though you can't really hear the cars at night. The air conditioning worked but was not very strong.

I recently visited this cafe with my family to get some ice cream and drinks, it was quiet when we visited. As we are a group of tourist, I understand there is an obvious language barrier however I felt the behaviour of the manager to be boarder-line rude. I was queuing for the only loo on the premises when the man, who I believed to be the manger, came over to me and started asking whether I enjoyed my drink. (We had only sat down 10 minutes ago and had not yet been served so I hadn’t even ordered a drink). I explained I haven’t had one, but he kept insisting I had. Then he went on to question me about what drink I had had, and again I explained that I hadn’t ordered one yet. He then told me the loo’s are for paying costumers and that I had to leave. I pointed at my family, who were seated with menus, and told him we were about to order, but no, again he told me I needed to leave and didn’t believe they were with me. Eventually he left me alone, left me without any apology. Then I went in the loo with the broken door handle and then back to my table where our order had to be taken twice as there was a system mess up. The manager even came over to our table to check everything was alright… still no apology from him. I understand there was a strict policy for only paying costumers but a simple apology would have been nice. There were so many little things that made our visits unpleasant. Overall I would not recommend this place!

Best aparol spritz of Cassis. Very good service, on request they also made a negroni which wasn’t in te menu. The view is amazing and I definitely recommend this place!

Scrambled eggs were lazy and bland, with a flower thrown on top for show. Bread was stale and rock hard. Levantine eggs were served hard-boiled instead of poached, with two dry, inedible breadsticks. With two coffees and two juices, it came to 60€ — not worth it. I don’t recommend.

Got married here in Sept 2023, returned in Sept 2025 and it remains lovely and perfect. Neither my wife nor I can imagine a better place.

Unbeatable views from the castle. I have stayed at a many ocean front hotels/resorts but none compare to the breathtaking view from this Chateau. Remy, the concierge was kind enough to help us with our luggage, give us a tour of the property and arrange cutlery/tableware for our dinner which we had packed from a restaurant in town. The room we stayed in was the dungeon - it came with a terrace, which again had a beautiful lookout. The only slight inconvenience was the church bells at night, every hour - something to keep in mind should you choose this room. I think the other rooms which were located more inside the chateau were better shielded from the city noise.

The most breathtakingly beautiful and well maintained place we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Remy greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds and was available whenever we needed anything. The room was perfect in every way - climate, amenities, very comfortable bed, and the view is unbeatable. And to somehow top all of that, the continental breakfast was the perfect additional touch. We liked that access is limited to guests since it makes the place feel more secure and serene. We took a taxi from Marseille to get here and walked the rest of our stay there. We had no trouble with walking up and down the hill. Town is just a short walk away, no more than 10 minutes even with breaks. Great value for the price per night, especially compared to what some of the 5 star hotels charge and they are no where near as nice as Chateau de Cassis. Would highly recommend and would love to return!

Very disappointing, I went up to Chateau de Cassis and at the entrance it says: guest access only, cannot be visited. I don't know what would be so disturbing to let the tourists enjoy the garden, the view and possibly drink something. The road to reach this destination is very difficult and despite all that I did it in vain. I tried to contact the property before to go there and a robot answers and speaks in French… I didn't understand anything. on the official website it says that it is open until 8 pm, which is very confusing, thinking that you can go and visit.

We made a booking. After 11 hours we found out our flight was cancelled. We provided proof. Initially the staff said they would reimburse it, as any decent hotel would, which normally have a 24 hours grace period. Then they changed their mind and tried to negotiate with us. STOP and look no further! The absolute BEST baked goods I’ve had in my life! The chocolate croissant literally melts in your mouth!! The brioche is yummy and pizza is so good! Baguette is perfect for some sandwiches! Everything was fresh and soooo so yummy! We literally turned back for more as soon as we finished our croissants it was that good! Highly HIGHLY recommend! And the price is unbelievably affordable! Back home I’d be paying 3-4x more for a croissant that does not compare, again, do yourself a favor and stop by!!!

A very cute place to find wonderful baked goods. You will find traditional bread and pastries. The prices are very fair for homemade quality and very tasty treats. The owner can be a bit brief towards tourists, but I found if you attempt to speak some French and approach her nicely, she will do the same.

We spent the whole day at this place. Rented two of the lounge chairs for our family of three and enjoyed sipping drinks at the beach. It was great. Hopped in the restaurant for lunch and enjoyed their fresh fish and tartare. It is a bit more pricey but the location makes up for it. Also the service was very attentive and friendly.

We came to this restaurant twice during our visit for appetizers and drinks after the beach and sat at the bar. Very lively atmosphere. Good drinks and apps.

Had several rounds of drinks with our bartender Sara before sitting at a table for lunch. You had to speak up to get service at the bar as she was making drinks and cleaning bar Hallsted for the entire restaurant. Drinks are great especially the Bloody Mary & Aperol Spritz. Lunch was very good; chicken Caesar salad, hamburger, grilled seafood platter, pasta, ceviche & Caprese burrata salad all notable. Stunning view the entire time of the beach & Mediterranean.

Chicken Caesar was gorgeous. Great portion sizes. My friend had the pasta and that too was incredible, so flavourful.

We have not had anything to eat but stayed at the bar. Food served looked good though. This review is of the bar service. One occasion we were served by a young women and a man who seemed was running the bar. Everything they served, beer and cocktails were absolutely great. However when two women were in charge, for example in Monday 30th June, it was obvious that they couldn't pull a pint, which arrived with a hat 1/3 of the glass or making a cocktail that was done in such a slap dash manner that they were full of syrup and we left them untouched. They only should be allowed to dispense something ready made from a bottle or be trained. Terrible service from those two. I gave 2 stars but if I could I would have given -1 to the latter and 5 to the first set of staff.

Like you can't sit at a table for 4 if there is only 2 of you,then 2 french speaking couples arrive and sit a table for 4.You can't access the beach even though it's on the beach unless you use the enclosed beach area.They yelled at me but no one explained protocol .Very disappointing actually, and the food was OK very salty ,and the explanation of dishes was terrible. Ce la vie a waste of 40 Euros.Dont bother going here.0 stars for the 2 waitresses and Manager/Owner. Bar staff were much nicer ,shame they dont run the place.

In a pitoresque back alley is a looked over restaurant with a stone owen grill and fantastic Mojitos. The grilled fish and the gambas were not the best I've had, but together with the friendly, although stressed waitress and the beautiful street exterior the warm summer evening, oozing of rum from the Mojitos, was gifted a shimmer of starfish glow. For the, in comparison, modest price this is a place well worth your while!

Really happy we found this place. It’s wood fired pizza and other stuff too. It is reasonably priced and it is good. I won’t claim to be a pizza expert but from what I ate they made a good pizza. The ingredients look good and the staff was nice and accommodating. They all were happy. But the prices were incredibly reasonable! In a town full of tourist traps and over priced food this place really shines! I had the chorizo pizza. It looked like pepperoni but had a bit more kick. My dining partner had the mozzarella and a syrup drink (blackberry maybe?) which was tasty. The steaks looked good too.

A few days ago we had a very nice meal at La Fringale. My husband had a delicious pizza and I had a perfectly cooked fish of the day served with an excellent garnish. Both cooked on a wood fired owen. Altogether the food and vine were very good. We both enjoyed it. The two young man running the place were welcoming and helpful. We also liked the location - shady street of the old town, a few steps away from the heat and the noise of the promenade. In a day or so we are planning to go there again.

Every bite was full of quality, and we enjoyed a wonderful glass of wine that complemented both dishes perfectly. The service was kind, the vibe was relaxed, and the rustic wooden tables added charm. Everything felt authentic and local – exactly what you hope for when dining in southern France. We’ll definitely return – a hidden gem we highly recommend!

We got pizza for takeout and it was amazing. The night before we wanted to dine in but they told us not possible because there were no tables available, so we had to just leave even after asking if we can wait for one. It was an hour before they were closing.

While the food was tasty, the fact that we waited one hour for two pizzas made our experience at La Fringale extremely disappointing. While waiting, we watched dozens of takeaway pizzas leave the restaurant. We had intended to watch the firework display from the harbour, and timed our dinner plans around this, but missed the display as our pizzas still had not arrived by the time it started. The staff were not apologetic, they didn't approach us once to let us know what was taking so long, nor do anything to make amends. Really disappointing, would warn anyone who's in a rush or hungry to avoid this place.

I knew prices for seated dinner were more expensive but I was surprised at how much more they charge for it. I ordered a Cesar salad and paid 16€ but if I had chosen the takeaway option it would have costed me 10€! The salad was good but I found a dead bug in the lettuce. I informed the waiter to which he apologised but I was charged full price. Coming from a place where issues like this are usually compensated by giving a discount or comping my drink or anything of the sorts, I was disappointed. Specially because there was still a good amount of salad left in the bowl. I only realised they didn’t take card payment when a table next to me ordered the check. The waiter called the owner and I was able to transfer the total amount into their bank account using Wise. Everyone there was very kind and helpful, but my overall experience was quite disappointing.

Like hundreds have said before, they don’t take card but don’t actually tell you until after you order. The crepes were mediocre and had lemon seeds left all throughout them. Despite the touristy location, would 100% not recommend anyone to this place. Avoid.

Nothing fancy but the prices are decent and it's very close to the beach. The 4 cheese pizza was super heavy on the cheese (good or bad depending on what you like). The house rose was easy drinking and well priced.

Nice setting and food is decent. Pizzas are better than the crepes. Service a bit slow and they don't take credit cards which is a bit of a pain.

This is one of the best burgers my family and I have ever had! We live in Portland, Oregon, USA and are not short of amazing food - that being said, we are impressed! Thank you, Cassis has been a great place to visit.
