Just a great vibe here. You can definitely feel the history. The hot dog is a must as that is what they are known for, but other menu items are solid as well. I will always get an order of onion rings. The hamburger reminds of school cafeteria, but in a good way. Service is friendly and prompt.

Historic old place with decor to prove it. Great service even tho busy, delicious food. Had cheeseburger they are famous for with chili. The chili is more like sloppy joe and an amazing addition! Steak style fries were crispy outside and soft inside and delicious. Local art adorns the walls for a unique experience unlike anywhere else and most are for sale! Definitely would recommend.

Best place to get your hot tongs. Especially an upside down dog of where the weenies on top, and all the Goody stuff is, underneath that way, it doesn't spill off the hot, tall, the when's are actually boiled in beer. Some of the best food that you can ever find located near mobile and firmly on old shell road.

We are completely regretful... For not going at Dew Drop Inn before today!! We own a place in Mobile for over 10 years and it's been over 5 years that we told ourselves that we should go... About the saying for Dew's hot dogs being the best: yep! Simply out of this world!! Fully loaded and tasteful. For the record, we were with 2 hungry teenagers (after a nearly 3 miles walk!) and they were full after one hot dog... Also, try the onion rings: clearly hand made with a great pepper zip. If you think A&W's onion rings are excellent, they will be #2 after you taste the ones at Dew's. Finally, the service: warm, welcoming, fast, smiling and doing the extra mile to make our visit a great experience! (We've had home made Gumbo soup samplers that were delicious). After a visit, you will understand why clients always come back at the Dew Drop Inn

Loved the DDI! I had read about this oldest restaurant in Mobile & have wanted to try it. We opted for the daily special, the hamburger steak with gravy. He had Mac&cheese & turnip greens, I had lima beans & mashed potatoes. All delish! We couldn't eat it all! We will be back - next time to try the famous hot dogs!

I have been wanting to visit this place because every time we pass by there is a nice little crowd. We finally got the chance to stop in. I will definitely be going back again. It had a nice atmosphere nothing fancy you felt good just casual and just taking it easy there. Of course we wanted to try the famous hot dogs. They we're good but the onion rings were absolutely delicious! I would be happy just to have a plate of those because they were DELICIOUSLY CRUNCHY! We will definitely be going back there.

It is open for dine-in. The employees were really great. They were so kind. Food is mediocre. If you like unique places to go, this is a good option, as it is the oldest restaurant in Mobile...as such, the interior is wearing down, but the employees did a great job of keeping things clean. I think it's worth going to one time, just for the history, but if I lived in the area, I wouldn't need to go back for the food.

I was extremely excited for this as I had heard so much about the quality of food and the overall experience. Maybe my expectations were too high. The service was great and the food was good not great. The restaurant has character and could be a little cleaner. Parking was easy as it was right across the street but it was a Sunday night and if really busy downtown parking could be a challenge.

My husband and I tried Wintzells Oyster House recently and both liked it. We ordered the oyster sampler and the shrimp sampler. He loved his oysters. My shrimp sampler was pretty good but most of them were overcooked. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Parking wasn't bad since they have a dedicated parking lot across the street. Bring a jacket because they keep the restaurant cold!

Tried it based on reviews and liked it. We had grilled oysters and the broiled platter. Oysters were small ( reportedly because of this time of year which we can live with but they were slightly overcooked and one oyster was only bread which they offered to fix but we declined as we were getting ready to leave. We really enjoyed the meal and almost perfect. Yes we would try it again.

The chargrilled oysters are a must when eating here! I also recommend the red snapper,hands down one of the best fish I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!

We came in during day busy time of the evening. So we sad at the bar waiting for a seat . Cavarius, the cook , noticed we were sitting there and asked if he could do anything to serve us. So he took care of our air if you need and we were able to order an entree as well as a food meal and had a wonderful time sitting there enjoying his service! Awesome place can't wait to come back!

One of our favorite places to eat when we’re in Mobile. Everything we’ve ever gotten has been delicious! Bread pudding is amazing!

A perfect lunch spot while traveling! We enjoyed everything from the yummy food to the fun atmosphere to the top tier service. Kasondra was a delight, and she didn’t miss a beat. She’s the best restaurant server we’ve had recently. Wintzell’s has been around for a while, and we understand why!

Cool spot. They have a large playground at ground level and the restaurant upstairs. There is an elevator as well as stairs. The hush puppies were amazing! They have a very small selection of things that are not seafood but my husband enjoyed his shrimp and we both liked the red beans and rice.

Wow, what an excellent meal. From the fiery oysters to the blackened shrimp tacos, we loved everything, and it tasted fantastic. The service was great and very friendly, even though they were jampacked with customers everyone tried to give the best service they could. And the restaurant had a great filled to it make you feel at home and welcome. I would recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be going back again.

Food was really good and so was the service! We had a couple different seafood platters and everything was awesome. Only complaint I would say is it was a little warm where we sat so I gave the atmosphere 3 stars. Definitely will go back though.

Such a fun joint with amazing seafood. Cannot skip the fire grilled oysters or fried mozzarella. We always get two dozen oysters. Best I’ve ever had. Service is always stellar. And their happy hour deals are great!

Our server was timely, food was off the chart. The atmosphere was a great ending to a brain twister day. We were two Sister's looking to enjoy a celebratory closer dinner & this place with it's incredible staff fit the bill. We arrived for lunch on this Wednesday shortly after opening, around 11:15. It filled up very quickly, but we ordered right away and didn’t have to wait very long at all. I always order the coleslaw — it’s so good!

We had a lunch reservation for 12:15 on a Friday. We walked in and no one was behind the hostess desk for a few minutes. As a result, I looked around me and noticed how the carpet needed vacuuming. Finally someone came out and was friendly and seated us. We had made a reservation but I thought the place was empty based ok how quiet it was so didn’t mention it. After being seated and noticing tables with better views I asked the server if we could have a better view since there were 4 2-person tables open. We got a better view and then waited for a while for a server to show up. I think they were understaffed because everyone was very personable but it was quite slow. No big deal as we were not in a rush. We finally got our drinks and food and bread. The bread was great with 2 types of butter. The food was good but not quite up to what I expected based on the reviews. I would say this is a great lunch place but I’m not sure I would want to spend the dinner prices there based on the food being more good than great. We enjoyed our lunch and will be back. PS love the $4 mini desserts for lunch. Great idea (see the pictures)

My husband surprised me for our anniversary w dinner at Dauphins. Amazing from start to finish! We had the seasonal pork belly starter, then he had the seasonal duck and I had the seasonal pecan crusted chicken. We both had a glass of great wine as well. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and finished w their chocolate mint ganache served cold over dry ice.

The parking garage is under renovation but worth every second. Stefanie was the best waitress. Fast drinks great food hot and quick. Great views of the bay and city. Shrimp taco's are great shrimp and grits are pretty good as well. We had the key lime pie...biegnets were the best we've ever had. WOW. All was great

If you visit Mobile, you must head to the 34th floor of building 2 and visit this restaurant. There is no dress code for lunch and entrees are around $15 and the food looks and tastes fantastic! The views of the city are breathtaking taking and the atmosphere is smooth and relaxing.

The service and food were 5 star quality. I had the Rasta Pasta and it was so creamy and full of flavor. Our cocktail was delicious and beautiful, the bread and butter were delicious and the pecan bar dessert was simply wonderful. I love that there is a dress code, and the views are stunning, definitely recommend going shortly before sunset. I would love to go back!

My party and I were excited to visit after reviewing the menu online, particularly looking forward to trying the cheese plate appetizer. However, when we inquired about it, our server asked if we had tried it before. We told him it was our first time dining with y'all, and he advised us against ordering it, describing it as “not worth it” and “disappointing,” and instead attempted to steer us toward other options we weren’t interested in. Ultimately, we opted just to enjoy the complimentary bread served with that delicious hibiscus butter. Later in the evening, after we had already placed our entrée orders, our server returned with an assistant and showed us a cheese plate he was delivering to another table, presumably to demonstrate why he found it disappointing. To our surprise, it looked exactly as we had hoped and quite delicious to our eyes, but at that point, it was too late to order an appetizer, and we were genuinely disappointed to have been talked out of trying it ourselves. That said, I want to highlight that our entrées were outstanding, beautifully cooked and flavorful. Additionally, the woman working at the hostess stand graciously took photos of our group on the way out and made us feel warmly welcomed. Her thoughtful service was a lovely way to end the evening and left a positive impression. Thank you for taking the time to read this, as you did not respond to a private message. Just when we thought we’d had every kind of burger out there, this place completely raised the bar. Hands down, the best burger we’ve ever eaten, juicy, perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and packed with flavor in every bite. The bun held together beautifully, the toppings were fresh and balanced, and the whole thing was the kind of meal you don’t want to end. The service was friendly and everything came out hot and fast. Honestly, if you’re a burger lover, you need to try this spot it’s a game changer. We’ll definitely be back.

Saw a fantastic concert Thursday night. Billy Allen, and the pollies. Great show. But very limited seating. I have an ankle issue and it’s difficult to stand for several hours so I wound up having to leave early. They do not have any accommodations for people with disabilities so you need to bring your own wheelchair are seated cane or walker. Great neighborhood atmosphere They did have some seating outside, but no outside sound system

I've been hearing about this place for years, especially about the burgers. I went when they were having the Halfway to Joe Cain Day event. I had no idea how small the inside is. They had a live band so there was no seating on the main floor and the room up the stairs was booked for a party. The outside tables were already claimed so we ended up getting two burgers to go. The staff was friendly and offered to refund the cover charge since we decided to leave. The burger was good when I got home.

Had the homemade French onion dip and chips for an appetizer-totally delicious and perfect for warm weather! Hubby had issues with the texture so he chowed down on the homemade potato chips. Hubby and I both had the bacon cheeseburger (which was delicious) but I want to go back for the LA burger! Pet friendly on the porch, so my dog Keira loved that part!

Great burgers and good draft beer options. They had a live band that was really good. Plenty of tv monitors. with live sports. The appetizers were a little weak. We had fish dip and onion dip. The appetizer selections could use some improvement. Prices were fair.

Tried this place our first night in Mobile. Fantastic burgers and good service even with a completely full restuarant on a Wednesday night. Second time it was a lot less busy and the burgers were again fantastic. The Irish Dip is my next favorite behind the burgers.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at The Noble South in Mobile, Alabama, with a few of my colleagues, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is charming—stylish yet comfortable—and perfect for a midday break or a casual business lunch. I ordered the blackened catfish, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It came with a crisp kale salad and some delicious fried potatoes—simple sides done exceptionally well. Portion sizes were satisfying without being overwhelming. The service was warm and attentive, and our meals came out in great time, even though the restaurant was nicely busy. It’s always a treat to find a place that delivers both quality food and a great vibe. We left feeling happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Made a day trip from Panama City to eat here on Sunday the 27th. It was well worth the drive! Aubrey our server was amazing! The food was wonderful we had two appetizers 3 entrees and 2 desserts and wow! Absolutely amazing! Keep it up! Can’t wait to return for more.

Exceptional Brunch at The Noble South The breakfast casserole was a standout—light, almost quiche-like in texture, with savory housemade sausage, spinach, parmesan, and a delicate sauce vierge. I added the trout roe from my wife’s plate, and it elevated the dish beautifully—rich, briny bursts that complemented the warmth and richness of the casserole perfectly. My wife ordered the sourdough scramble, which was equally well-executed. The eggs were soft and flavorful, folded with oyster mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, ricotta, and pesto. A thick slice of sourdough toast was served on the side—crisp, hearty, and a perfect pairing. Every bite reflected care, balance, and seasonal thoughtfulness. Easily one of the most memorable brunch experiences we’ve had.

Ordered all 6 dinner dishes they had and every one of them was delicious. Everything was unique compared to other restaurants. Each dish has at least 4 flavors going on, all complimenting each other. I'd say the best was either the duck or the shrimp and grits. But the short ribs was a top notch piece of meat cooked just right. And the peaches and cream dessert was awesome.

Such quality. Came in for brunch on a Saturday, very welcoming environment, Trent made a cocktail that really hit the spot. He made sure I was enjoying it which was appreciated. The fried oyster benedict was pretty magical. The batter was particularly flavorful, and the thin layer of ham packed in a lot of punch as well. It was the kind of meal where you feel sad that it’s over.

Stopped here for dinner as the menu sounded really interesting. We got a good spread and overall it was good. The small plates and appetizers seem to be where they shine. The dinner and the dessert were good but not amazing. We found them to be a little bland but it could have just been an off night. The location is very nice and the atmosphere is adorable. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the deviled eggs ( delicious) , the pickled shrimp (delicious), the blue cheese jam sourdough (good the blue cheese was a little strong to me but the bread was excellent), the hot honey fried game bird ( excellent), shrimp and grits (good a little bland) , the swordfish schnitzel (good a little bland as well and heavy), apple cobbler ( good) and the banana pudding (ok we didn't like it very much but it wasn't bad). Overall a cool place to stop and we really liked the atmosphere, apps and small plates.

We tried this place because it said “from farm to table” and it did not disappoint! Everything was so fresh, the shrimp were large, and the booze perfect. They were so friendly they even convinced us to get their cobbler. Fun staff, lovely atmosphere, they will definitely see us again.

Had to try out this local landmark after dinner while visiting the area, and it was great! Cute little shop with a ton of invebtive flavors. Ordering can be a bit of a ratrace, but even with it fairly busy we didn't wait long before we had our order. Good prices, too! Ordered a double dip of king cake and cinnamon king cake in a dish and another double dip of king cake and strawberry oreo. Both were very good, with real pieces of king cake in those varieties!

The ice cream was delicious!! Parking was very limited, there was no restroom (from what I saw), & the inside was very difficult to move around in as the aisle was narrow and to get to the back of the line you had to squeeze to the back of the building. The staff were friendly and moving as quickly as they could for it being so busy.

Great icecream and great prices! If you're getting a scoop, you can't not get a triple! Go with 3 different flavors to really experience the quality. And they have a Guinness world record! My only recommendation is to put in a sign indicating the que for non-regulars.

This place was awesome! We had our daughters 1st birthday party here, the staff was so kind and helpful, the Ice cream was delicious! We had our party from 11 to 12 and the place didn't open till 12 so we had it all to ourselves! The kids got to make their own sundaes, everyone had a great time. They even have old sodas, we enjoyed a cold root beer. There is also a classic horse to ride with the quarters!

Because maybe, juuuust maybe I'm being dramatic or overreacting. But nope, I'm still upset. I went in to get ice cream with the 5yo I keep. We had about 2 or 3 people ahead of us. They were being helped. We patiently stood at the end waiting for assistance. All but 1 employee was busy helping others. Blondie with the braces didnt appear to be assisting anyone at the time. So we continue waiting another minute or 2. An older white man walked in and she immediately walks up to assist him. He literally walked around us with his dessert to go check out. Little miss blondie avoided eye contact and didnt give us a second thought. I wasnt otp or preoccupied with anything. I have no clue why she ignored us. After waiting a bit longer, I thought to grab her attention (even tho I shouldn't have to bc I'm not invisible- she saw me) but at that same time, more people walked in (after school rush) & she immediately helped them as well. Finally, a melanated employee walked up and helped us. Unbelievable! And mngmt can watch the security footage if they dont believe me. She bypassed us- didn't even acknowledge our presence. But she smiled and attended to "the others" But that's on par for this area.

Been coming here since I was in high school. I graduated in 1984 so go figure. The ice-cream here is the BEST. Let's not forget about the Banana splits, the Banana Royales, and the chocolate covered waffle cones with your choice/choices of ice-cream to go in them. I’ve been across the country from the west coast to the east coast and I have got to say that this place might have one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had. (Everywhere I travel to, I find a place and get a milk shake). I got the “Cookie Monster” ice cream and had them turn it into a milk shake and it delivered in all the right ways. This place has that “mom and pop” type vibe. It’s clearly been around for a while and there’s a very good reason for that. Great service, delicious ice cream and an environment that is welcoming and friendly. This might genuinely be a good reason to stop by Mobile Alabama if you’re ever around or near.

Spinach/Artichoke/feta dip was amazing as well as the cup of soup of the day which was potato,connecuh with kale. I was expecting a creamy soup but was delightfully surprised it was more "brothy" and delicious! I also highly recommend the portobello mushroom sandwich.

This is a very cute place to eat. Good portion sizes and the taste was well balanced. Be prepared for no ice and bottled drinks as they don't have any other choices. This doesn't detract from the experience. Good place for a ambitious person.

The cutest spot. All outdoor seating great place to dine especially on the day we came the weather was perfect. The food was good it's not my usual go to cuisine so I'm not going to knock the food. It was good and if this is your type of food you will love it. I liked it just not my favorite. It was a nice place to try a new style of food.

we are visiting from Indianapolis and my girlfriend found this place it is totally amazing five star start to finish! The creamy carrot ginger soup get it by the bowl delicious! Mushroom and Swiss out of this world! Rose The waitress did such a good job we were the last people to come in tonight and she treated us like we were the first, kind and very knowledgeable of the menu I would definitely put this on my list for places to stop 💪🙌

I love The Cheese Cottage. It's an interesting place to eat. There is no inside seating but there is some shade. They don't have ice or lemons but did leave a bottle of water on the table. I had the French onion grilled cheese and chips. My husband had a Reubin and a salad. Both were tasty.

My guest and I absolutely enjoyed the food at Spot of Tea. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by friendly waitresses and a gentleman, I think, was the manager. There is definitely ol school service, and I love that about the restaurant. The waitresses were very descriptive of the menu and honestly were also fun to talk to. Our waitress "Shea" ( I hope I got her name right) was top-notch. She checked our table so much I had to stop her from refilling my coffee. I say this with a huge smile because of how much I love great customer service. I had the Cajun Shrimp and Grits. My guest had The Eggs Cathedral. When I say both were delicious, lord hammercy, I ain't lying! The Egg Cathedral was a delicious English muffin, topped with a crab cake, scrambled eggs, topped with a seafood sauce with blackened Grouper, Crawfish, Jumbo Shrimp and hashbrowns You heard me right. It was delicious. My Cajon Shrimp and Grits were cheesy, loaded with savory sausage, and, of course, shrimp. The voodoo sauce and green peppers added the perfect touch. Don't walk, run, and get some of that tasty goodness I enjoyed. Oopsies, I forgot to say they have good coffee too.

Atmosphere: The service was excellent, ignore all the 1 star reviews. They are more about the reviewers than the restaurant; our only complaint was that my wife and I had to wait over 15 minutes from getting our menus to being able to order. Service: But if you have some patience, it's well worth the wait. Of course if you come in with a group of 10 or 20 people, you're going to overwhelm their resources. Food: The toast was very buttery, which was unappetizing, but otherwise the food was excellent. Their new chicken and waffles were hot and delicious, and I liked the freedom of their Choose Your Own Breakfast option.

We are in town for some concerts at the Civic Center. We decided to take the short walk to this little restaurant for breakfast. It was an excellent breakfast, but a bit more than I could eat. You definitely get plenty to eat! The staff was very friendly, as we chatted with some of them. If you're in town, be sure to check them out. Come hungry and you'll leave full!

I wish I had more time to spend there, but in the short time I had, I enjoyed my experience. Beware though if you order over easy eggs. They may come out overcooked while the bacon in my opinion was undercooked. They corrected both without an issue. My son's BLT was perfection in his opinion and he appreciated the soup that came with it. Our server was helpful in explaining the menu and overall attentive.

I honestly wasn't impressed with my plate, it wasn't seasoned, I honestly left 80% of my food on the plate, so maybe I should have ordered something else. However our waitress Cindy was the absolute best, she was a Sweetie, so that made our visit exceptional.

A beautiful and unfussy American café with whiffs of French Louisianian vibes. The place can get packed, especially on the weekends, and can take a while to get a table, but it's worth it. Service is pretty good and homely (thank you Heather!) and the food is just as great. The Eggs Cathedral, in particular, are a huge portion of delicious food. Worth checking out at least once if you're in town!

Although we were expecting some southern charm in the architecture, it came through in the service and delicious meal. Parking in the area was difficult to find and we would have preferred to park closer for more safety. Still a good experience overall and memories made.

We had a great visit today! Megan and Kendall took great care of us. The view was awesome, and the vibe was perfect. My fiance and I split a platter, and we were both full by the end. There's also a nice place to sit that overlooks the water.

We had a party of 8 for the outdoor seating. We paid the extra $5 each to enjoy the live musicians. The music was fantastic! There were 3 dudes playing acoustic and they sounded like Pearl Jam. Why are these guys in a little restaurant and not playing sold out venues? Idk. Anyway! The service was good. Negatives, I apologize for being negative Nancy. For starters, we had to request to get actual silverware that was not plastic. I don't even mean the durable plastic kind, either. It was the REALLY flimsy kind. We ordered the appetizer Peel and eat shrimp which had a terrible consistency. The shrimp was mushy. We didn't know if it was old or overcooked. He ordered the blackened shrimp. Same problem. I ordered the special with a fish upgrade to red snapper(?) With a crabcake and shrimp. This jacked the price quite a bit. It was the same with the shrimp and the fish and everything else was so salty, it made me feel totally sick. I took about 5 bites and couldn't eat any more. Him and I dropped 129 bucks just for us, yet, I couldn't eat it. I felt really bad. I could not even eat the leftovers because, it was just too much salt. We had others who, later on said they had the same problem with it being way too salty- and not eating their leftovers either. The environment was cozy. It doesn't look high dollar, but it was like visiting old friends sort of feel. A little overpriced imo. The gratuity was quietly added because of the size of our party but, that is standard practice in my experience. Just making sure to warn others in larger parties since it was not obvious if you weren't looking for it.

First of all I will just say its a beautiful scenery and the staff was very pleasant. I decided to sit outside at the bar for lunch. It was very busy. My first thought was there is only one bar tender struggling to keep up. He did very u well and was very polite and attentive. I ordered a half n half basket with the fried oysters and fried shrimp with fries. When my food came out I l9oked at the plate and there were 5 fried little pieces of oyster and 4 very small shrimp with a basket of fried. I feel like 16 dollars should have definitely given more food. It was disappointing. The oysters tastes pretty good however the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Fries were fine however thats not what I came for.

So know that this review will be coming from a native New Orleanian before reading so that you have some context. Now with that out of the way...GOOD GOD FLAMING OYSTERS!!! They combined the succulent flavor profile of Chargrilled Oysters with the smoky goodness of a good barbecue. In short, the best oysters I've ever tasted! Our server, Hunter, was kind and attentive in spite of dealing with some unexpected restaurant issues that he made sure we as his customers didn't even feel. Next i got the Bluegill platter... with Redfish! My favorite fish fried delicately, seasoned perfectly and presented before me was a true highlight of the meal. If you're in the area, come for the fantastic oysters, shrimp and fish and return for excellent service and an inviting atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

We visited this place on a Sunday. We had a party of 19 (including kids). We had to wait for about 1.5 hours for a table because they dont take reservations after 2pm. The manager was able to get seated after about an hour. There was a large party that showed up right before us. The food was good. We ordered a variety of things. The service was kind of slow, but the waitress was nice and kept our drinks refilled until our food arrived. We waited for a while to receive the check. This was also their concert season, so the band was playing outside.

One of my most favorite restaurants of all time! Been going here since I was 5 years old and they never went wrong with my grilled cheeses or burgers! Dick Russell’s Barbecue is a great spot if you’re craving quality BBQ in the area. The serving sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The barbecue is done really well—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re looking for a solid barbecue place nearby.

Stopped early for breakfast. Bacon was over cooked. Grits were not good at all. Pancakes were good. Eggs were cold. The biscuits were absolutely awesome. The portion of the food was a very good size. Will try again but for the BBQ next time

I passed the billboard for years and finally had a chance to try it. I ordered to go. Food: Franchise quality food at specialty store price. I had the sampler, all meat was dry, and unseasoned with a sweet bbq sauce. I also have the feeling I'm missing an item or 2 from the menu description. My wife had the shrimp platter, to her was strong of onion but to me unseasoned. The biscuits were too salty for me to eat. I enjoyed the sweet potato and mashed potatoes. The onion rings were too salty for my preference, but i enjoyed them. Service: once I was noticed, service was great. Atmosphere: enjoyed the rustic decor. Paired with the music, it feels like stepping back in time in a texas diner. Overall: i satisfied my curiosity, but the food i had tonight wasn't worth $50.

We stopped at Dick Russell's for breakfast before driving back to Texas. I ordered a bacon omelet with grits and biscuits with a lemonade. I wasn't impressed with the grits or the omelet, but the biscuits with the jam were amazing. The servers were great. They were super nice and welcoming. We will visit again to try the lunch options.

First timer. Went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon egg & cheese biscuit, a cup of water for my dog & and an extra biscuit for under $11. A lovely young lady came out & asked how I’d like my eggs, which caught me off guard (no other restaurant drive thru had ever asked me that). I said idk and decided on, however they want to make them. 😂 I received a biscuit with a fried egg with a perfectly runny yolk on top of the crispiest bacon with melted cheese.😋😋😋 Idk who they’ve got cooking but I know God has a place for them in heaven for feeding his people this heavenly food.🏆🏆🏆 The coffee was the best coffee I’ve ever had from any restaurant that serves breakfast.☕️ *If you’ve never been & go through the drive thru be sure & let them know that if don’t need butter, jelly, cream & sugar because they will definitely make sure you get plenty.

You know it's good, when it's hard to find parking. Despite the parking situation, our 8 top was seated in under 15 minutes. Food and drinks came in a reasonable time.

Came here for lunch because I had heard ao much about it. They were out of at least 2 of the sides at about 12:45 pm. To me that seems ill prepared. The brisket was disappointing. It had a nice smoke ring, bit had nearly no flavor and it wasn't what I would call tough, but it certainly wasn't tender. Possibly a cheap cut of meat. Portions were big and sides they did have were good. The service was the best part of this experience. Our server was super attentive and friendly. I may give them another try because of the great service and see how the food is.

First off the vibe in here is cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and even will come to your table to see if you need anything. Such an inviting place and the coffee is fire! They have plenty of options too for vegetarian and vegans and non plant based folks too. Great place to get some work done here. They have plenty of outlets and a good amount of places to sit. Everything I usually need in going to a coffee is found here! Stop by when you get a chance, you won’t regret it!

This coffee shop is a gem! The coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had, and I love that they roast their beans fresh in-house! The space has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. It’s clear they care about quality and creating a great experience for their customers. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

Great selection of smoothies and scones with a relaxed vibe. The smoothie was filling, though pricey. And the variety of options was nice to see, so plenty to choose from for vegetarians and anyone wanting a creative, substantial smoothie. Also the location is a convenient walk from a lot of places in downtown, though I didn’t see many pedestrians in Mobile. The barista was friendly and gave me the lowdown on the scone recommendations (3 types), and his rec was spot on. Worth a visit if you’re nearby or visiting.

Serda’s Coffee Company is hands down the best coffee shop downtown! The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether you’re stopping in to get some work done, catching up with friends, or just grabbing a quick pick-me-up. Their coffee is consistently fresh, smooth, and full of flavor, but what really makes them stand out for me is their chai—it’s absolutely to die for. Perfectly spiced, creamy, and comforting, it’s easily the best I’ve ever had. On top of that, the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit feel like a treat. Serda’s is a true gem and the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to again and again. COFFEE SO GOOD I DIED!!

I don't drink coffee, but I chose to have breakfast here because I saw smoked salmon bagel on the menu. I haven't had a salmon bagel that I didn't like, until the one I had here. Maybe the bagel wasn't toasted crispy enough, or was it the pickle that was added, or was there too much cream cheese? I'm sure these are positive to some. I finished it, I just can't say that I enjoyed it. I also ordered the fruit smoothie "sunrise" and it was good (5*), but the large one I had cost $7.95 so it's fairly pricey. The place has this cozy, relaxing vibe and I can see that this is a popular place to hang out.

Traveling through Mobile and stop here for a quick pick me up. It’s a cute little shop and the service was great. The down side was they were out of things that we wanted to order. I ended up going for an ice raspberry coffee… not great didn’t taste anything but regular coffee. My husband got the mango monsoon smoothie. That was good had to substitute the pineapple in the original smoothie for bananas because they were out. Still tasted really good. My husband also got a cinnamon roll. Unfortunately the cinnamon roll was not great. It was hard as a rock. They didn’t even warm it up the frosting that went with the cinnamon roll was fairly good but couldn’t get over eating a rock.

Outstanding welcoming service. Shrimp and grits was also good- not the most amazing I’ve had but decent and great value for the price. Finished up with banana pudding which was excellent.

I remember coming here a few years ago and it was awesome. I guess they changed management or something. The service was fine. Inside was a little cramped but it was ok. The food came out suspiciously fast. I ordered country fried steak and my company ordered fried chicken and sides. It came out in less than 5 minutes. Which makes it obvious that it's not freshly made. The macaroni we ordered was very grainy and had a weird texture. The green beans were completely bland, no seasoning at all. Corn bread muffin was very dry. The country fried steak was fine as were the mashed potatoes. The prices are reasonable but I will not be coming here again.

I would definitely go here again just for the ambiance. This place was great! The food wasn’t really for me, but it was okay.

We went for lunch. It was a little busy but we were seated almost immediately! I had a blackened chicken salad. The meat was a little chewy but overall it was acceptable. My husband had the veggie plate, peas, collard greens, etc. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the banana pudding, no made from scratch, you can tell. I would still recommend Mama's. The food was good, not great. The atmosphere and service was great!

Don't skip the banana pudding no matter what your full belly says! Packed with locals. Great tea (always a measure for me) quick meal from the lunch menu. Super Southern from scratch lunch. Service was helpful and friendly.

This lunch cafe is charming. The food was good and reasonably fast. Service was great despite a new busboy. Several things were forgot. We were also served a burnt corn bread. Everything was fixed very quickly. We started with fried green tomatoes and ranch. The tomatoes were heavily breaded, but tasted well. It paired well with the horseradish ranch sauce. The fried chicken was very good. The chicken and dumplings were the winner of the dinner. The tomato and cucumber salad and the black eyed were excellent. The squash casserole had cheese in it. I was not expecting that. Wife’s okra were ok some were a little over cooked.

Such a great local place! They were packed for lunch but the service is super fast, we lingered but those who were obviously on lunch break were in and out quickly! Our server was very attentive and the food was fantastic! Good home cooking that just makes you happy! The green blt was fabulous and the best I've ever had! Everything was fresh and delicious, I want to go back and try more! Definitely worth the stop, great prices too!! Oh and the candied yams are a must have, better than Grandma's!!!!

Nice small cozy place in the middle of downtown Mobile. Alabama service is outstanding. Food is pretty darn good too. They have optional seating outside or inside. Seafood gumbo is pretty darn tasty. The burgers are excellent. The services true Southern hospitality, smiles and laughter all through the building. Don't forget to sneak around back of the building and get your photo with the wings painted on the back door

We were encouraged to go by one of the staff at our hotel and it did not disappoint. I had the Tony's special(fish and grits) it was so good that we went by again after checkout to have something to eat on the road. Delicious.

They've not gotten my order correct either time i've been there. Don't try to make changes to the menu item, thats how they make it. Hard wood seating so bring your own cushion. The fries were good.

Absolutely loved everything about this experience! The staff was very attentive always checking in it felt like I was with family not just out at a restaurant!! No words could describe how much I enjoyed the live band and amazing food. I’m not a big drinker but loved every drink the bartenders recommended! I gave preferences for flavors and they really knew what mixes would suite my tastes. If I could give more than just 5 stars this would definitely be the place! Has great options for families as well with great views, a jumbo checkers game, and fans everywhere to keep you cool in the southern heat!!

The Grand Mariner Restaurant and Marina was everything we hoped for! Quaint local place on the water, very sweet owners, friendly service, water view, and varied yummy food offerings. Hubby began with a loaded bloody Mary… it was a complete appetizer, lol. Such fun! See photos! I had my first pina colada of the trip and it was good. Today they had a special soup offering… crab corn bisque. Hubby and I both had a cup of that. Delicious! We enjoyed our window view our whole dining experience. I ordered fried fish with onion rings; Hubby ordered grilled fish with corn. Both selections were excellent. My fried fish was the best I have ever eaten; the tasty crust was perfectly crisp and the white fish was flaky and tender, not greasy. The onion rings had their special breading; they were so tasty I didn’t even want any ketchup, lol. We were ready to leave but got tempted by a rum (bushwacker) shake. Hubby ordered one and we shared. It, too, was excellent. After our meal we went out on the dining deck to enjoy the full view. It was too cool to eat outside today but know it would be delightful on a comfortable day. We highly recommend this local jewel. We were just passing thru Mobile and wanted a seafood lunch. It was perfect!

My husband and I like waterfront dining and we have been to a lot of recommended restaurants in Mobile but The Mariner was a new experience for me and I had no idea what to expect. Not only was the patio seating relaxing and gorgeous, the food was outstanding quality and the service can not be compared. The staff was super friendly and attentive, even the hostess conversed with us and gave recommendations because I expressed it was my first time eating there. We took a chance on a new place for our wedding anniversary and we didn’t even express that to the staff, they were truly wonderful and we have made this a regular spot. We had an amazing dinner and ordered alcohol so we spent a good amount but what we spent for the quality of food we enjoyed, you can’t beat their prices and EVERYTHING was delicious.

Food was great. Fried grouper was best I've had in a very long time. Old school, service oriented dining experience where you feel like you are the only customer. View over Dog River and the Bay is well worth drive out DIP to get there.

Stopped by on our way to Florida and couldn't have been happier. The staff was great, food was amazing and the view and band made for a great atmosphere. Plus scored some free swag on raffle night. Was an excellent start to vacation.

First time at this restaurant. We really loved their grilled snapper and grouper. Gumbo and Grilled shrimp were also very delicious. They served really fast. We enjoyed the outside view. I took one star off for couple of reasons. 1- a lot of mosquitoes that they eat you alive. They had citronella candles if you ask them to light. But I had to go back to my car and take a shower with deep woods OFF Spray. Make sure you are prepared if you like to dine outside 2- House salad was not fresh and key lime pie was not the best. But our server kindly listened to us and offered to bring something else. We thanked and said not necessary. 3- Margarita was a little pricey but we liked it. Overall we were very happy with the service and how delicious were the fish and the shrimp. It is worth to give this restaurant a try, we will go back again.

The food and service is really good. Just make sure that you bring plenty of money with you. I will not take away from the quality, but you can spend $40 per person easy and still walk out hungry. The sliders weren’t what expected, and the seafood platter that you’ll have to get a to go box for anywhere else, just isn’t enough food for the price, only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 star.

My wife and I met for lunch during rush hour. Staff handled crowd with ease. Love the atmosphere very welcoming. Service is fast and friendly, food is some of the best I've had in this part of USA. The food here is worth the trip. We got brisket and ribs with a side of mac and cheese and fries. The ribs were amazing. Excellent smoke flavor, perfectly cooked, very juicy. Brisket was also delicious and incredibly moist. Sweet tea tasted like it was freshly brewed. We stopped at three BBQ spots in Alabama on pur trip and this was the best.

Meat Boss is a excellent bbq place in a state known for killer seafood! You don’t think, “Imma head on down to ‘Bama for some ‘Que!” So I have been bitterly disappointed by some of the bbq places native Alabamans have rated so highly. That’s not the case here. They serve chopped pork, brisket and ribs. The ordering is a bit complicated, but the food is as good a bbq as you’ll find anywhere. We ordered the ‘pulled’ pork and brisket, no bun, although you have several bread choices. You can get a little cup of slaw or potato salad, various very tasty bbq sauces, pickles, sour cream, killer jalapeño jelly, and a few other accoutrements none of which detract or mask the savory Smokey meat flavor. The meat is fatty enough to be really succulent without being oily/greasy. All the ‘Que sauces are delicious, but the Carolina and Spicy Carolina (neither mustard based) were the standouts. A word about their potato salad. If you’re used to restaurant-grade potato salad, and can live without it, wait till you try Meat Boss’ made-in-house version. Potatoes are cooked to perfection, then slathered with a mayo/sour cream dressing that’s both decadent and light, with just enough tang to keep your tastebuds clamoring for more. Reasonable prices, super helpful, friendly, and accommodating staff, this wonderful bbq purveyor is definitely on the “happily returning” list.

Saw it on Triple D with Guy and had to try this family owned joint to see what all the hype was about! And let me tell ya, 10/10! Happy people, flavorful food, down home vibe, just everything you need! Love it! Coming back!

I’m not sure why this place has such great reviews. We ordered the "special," which was a brisket sandwich with cheese, bacon, and fries, but there was nothing special about it. The brisket was dry and bland, the bacon was overly salty and undercooked, and the overall meal was disappointing. To make things worse, our server seemed more interested in chatting with other customers than checking on us. The prices were also steep for what you get - $20 each for the special felt unreasonable. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

My coworkers and I were in Mobile for a conference and wanted to experience some Alabama BBQ. It was tasty, and hits the spot when you want BBQ, but it is nothing out of this world. I ordered the pork sandwich with coleslaw and pickles. Never got the pickles, but the sandwich was jam-packed with meat and coleslaw! The seasoned fries were perfectly hot, crispy, and not too oily. Cute restaurant on the inside. Very friendly and attentive staff. I had a problem with my order and they were kind enough to remove it from the bill and offered to remake it

Great bbq in the heart of Mobile! I got the pulled pork sandwich and baked beans and they were both fantastic. They make their own sauce, which I really enjoyed too. My only complaint - weird hours… at least for a bbq place. They only serve breakfast and lunch (close at 2:00). When I asked about the hours, they said they mostly just serve the downtown lunch rush, which makes sense.

I always look at reviews and read good things. BBQ sounded good. Left office, short walk, nice day. Waitress was helpful. Asked for the brisket French fries. Looked good when placed on table. Started to eat and the outside was barely warm. Start going to the center and not even close to hot, and barely warm. Waitress asked how was it and I said good but cold. She did say they could redo the order, but I was more than half done. Disappointed.

Stopped into Cotton State BBQ's new location last week and ordered the dry rub chicken wings. If im speaking honestly, these may be the best dry rub wings in Mobile. Theyre delicious and worth the price! Overall im really digging the new location. Its got a good feel to it. Plenty of seating. Unique art, super clean bathrooms (a huge plus). Kris and Joanna are the two servers you'll most likely deal with. Theyre both at the top of their game. Quick, efficient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. If youre a regular, they'll remember your name and usual order. A nice personal touch. They'll tend to you immediately and regularly Food did not take long to come out at all. Came out hot and just the way I imagined it. Perfect stop if youve got a short lunch break. 10/10 experience.

Cotton State BBQ was delicious! We experienced the Downtown food truck.The BBQ sauce is an award winning recipe and I will tell you I don't really care for too many bbq sauces but this sauce was bomb! The crinkle fries were seasoned and actually crispy! I get dissapointed with crinkles usually because they aren't crisp enough. My family loved the cheese fries and brisket fries!

We dined outside on a beautiful night. Cool spot to people watch. Our waitress was super personable and offered great menu guidance when we asked. We started with chips and the trifecta: queso, guacamole, and salsa. I’m not normally tortilla chip obsessive, but their chips are thicker than most and were very obviously fresh. The queso…so good that I’d have gladly chugged the bowl if I didn’t fear the scorn of my easily-embarrassed-by-mom 10-year-old. Our kids ordered from the kids menu. They were both pleased with their choices - chicken taco for one and cheese quesadilla for the other. The kids’ plates each came with their own chips and queso, as well. I opted for 2 street tacos - jerk chicken and al pastor. Our waitress said she gets an al pastor every day she works. After tasting it I saw why. The meat was ridiculously tender and flavorful. Probably one of the best Al pastors I’ve ever had. My husband got the torta de carnitas. Based on the speed with which he inhaled it, I’d say it was a big hit. We didn’t venture in to the salsa bar, as we were moving minimally after a long day at the beach. But apparently we missed out on quite a selection.

Went down on a busy Saturday night while artists in the park was on display. No street parking, only parking garage in rear at a cost of $10-25. Waitress was not dressed very professionally but atmosphere was very casual. Waitress was not patient with new customers. Restaurant was hot and sweaty. Chips and salsa was not bottomless and was saltless and very bland. Customer ant the table ordered guacamole dip, no salt and chips were very thick. Owner personally heated up some chips for one of the customers with me at my table and confessed he didn’t have the proper equipment to keep the chips warm, it was ordered. After we got the new chips, we felt sorry for the other customers that were being served cold, thick, and bland chips. Brisket Burrito was good, split in two as a courtesy. Manager only compensated for the bland guacamole and offered no other refunds/menu changes for the meal. Felt the meal was over priced under seasoned and not worth the jog downtown. 2/10 stars

The place looked great, but I'm not sure that the food was worthy of the price it cost. It wasn't bad by any means, but I wouldn't want to pay what I did to get it. I also was not a fan of the tortilla chips, personally. Too thick and almost bready. My friend and her family love this place though (she was here and she downed her whole plate before everyone else), so I certainly don't speak for everyone in sharing my thought on this one. Loved the exterior and interior design. Lots of hanging decor, wall decorations of various items, a hot sauce bar, wall decor in the bathroom, and neon lights outside when it gets dark! They also have outdoor and indoor seating! I'd say if you like Mexican food, it's at least worth a shot!

Let me start by saying the Surf and Turf burrito was amazing and I loved it. But, the chips were terrible and way too expensive. Their chips were very hard and not near as good as the free chips at most Mexican restaurants. The guacamole was just mediocre. Not bad but not great. For $9, the chips and guac should have been great. The salsa on the salsa bar was not good. My wife has egg and dairy allergies so she had to get something without cheese. She ordered a burrito with chicken and veggies. They forgot to put the veggies in the burrito. Apparently, the cheese gives the burrito all the flavor as her burrito was very bland and she didn't enjoy it. The restaurant was packed when we got there so we had to wait 30 mins and then were sat outside. The service was also very slow. Unfortunately, someone was smoking near us outside which was not enjoyable. Not the restaurant's fault but did not help our experience. I would come back for the Surf and Turf burrito but that's about it.

Saw this on DDD several years ago and was excited to finally be in the area to try it. We were beyond disappointed. Chips were hard as rock with no flavor to the salsa. The mahi, shrimp, and jerk chicken tacos were bland. Only things that were any good were the brisket, cheese dip, and guac. It took over 20 minutes after we finished eating to get our check. They were not that busy.

My family has visited Roosters many times over the last few years and is hands down the best place to get some good grub! The food is always flavorful and the environment is fun for the entire family. Highly recommend!!

The Torta was unique and quite flavorful. Enjoyed the mellow atmosphere and professional chefs. Was not planning on Mexican in Mobile, but was glad I stoped in.

Might have been my first visit, but won’t be my last!! From the friendly greeting as we entered to the ample selection for a meat and three, this was a very pleasant experience. Not only did I not leave hungry, I have enough leftovers for another meal. Do yourself a favor and go get you some!

First time customer. Had heard good things and they weren’t lying! Got the fried chicken plate with black eyed peas, baby limas, and yams. All were on point! Those yams and baby limas were money. This meal with a sweet tea was $25 before tip, but worth it. You better plan for a nap after. I will definitely be back for more.

Well, Mary's food puts me in the mind of Piccadilly. Like it does what it does and nothing too special. The greens had a deep rich green color, but then you look closer and taste you know they are from a can. And honestly the added sugar trying to dress them up makes it worse. If you are cutting corners on vegetables maybe don't cook them. Mac and cheese...nothing special. Fish wasn't straight out the grease. I get you're trying to save time. But I think you lose out in quality. Fish was good luke warm nonetheless. I will say nothing was too salty. I would focus on a smaller menu and fresh fresh fresh vegetables. I must say that cornbread was amazing. The strawberry cake was so so. Staff was friendly. Lots of space to sit. The owner was trying to get the 2 cashiers to say welcome to Mary's. It was like pulling teeth. Only one register was open and 3 people were in the area. They could have taken turns saying it. Don't give people a chance to ruin your business just because they are related to you. Find you some folks that can embrace your vision or do it anyway.

The food was EXCELLENT! The portions were AMAZING! The service was OUTSTANDING! I will come back EVERY TIME I'm in town!

Top tier southern cooking!! Everything was packed with flavor. The blackeyed peas, the greens, and the mac and cheese all were so good and can tell they are homemade recipes. Its like going to your mama house on Sunday. The fried chicken was good and juicy. The chicken was seasoned to the bone! So even if you ate the golden, crunchy skin off; the meat still has that good flavor of herbs and season. The staff was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated their service. The only thing I want to say is MARY'S Home Cooking on Airport Blvd. is Absolutely the Best Soul Food Cooking in Mobile. We went there on Sunday and the food was Excellent and the Dressing is the Best 😋😋

The service was excellent! Everybody was so nice! The owner herself came to greet me and my friend. Her interactions were genuine and you can tell she’s a people person. Our waiter was great as well. The food was good. The macaroni and cheese made me roll my eyes to the back of my head! It’s been a while since I had macaroni and cheese that good! I ama vegetarian (for health reasons only) so if you’re getting any of the vegetables, ask if it has meat in it. Some of them do……but that Mac and cheese don’t so make sure you get that! My friend had the baked chicken and she really enjoyed that. I’m not from Mobile and I am here for work, but whenever I come back I will visit this restaurant! I say 10/10 highly recommend!

I had high expectations of going to eat at this place, my kids wanted to try it because it is a viral place on social media, we drove from Pensacola Florida to Mobile, Alabama. What I loved was the bread it was so soft and delicious and their coleslaw, the chicken was not as amazing as advertised on social media but it was good. The price and the portions were good. Loved the dressing. I hope they put more effort into cleaning their restrooms.

Excellent chicken fingers and sauce was delicious. Floor needed degreasing, was sticky however staff very friendly and accommodating!

Our first time/last going to this location @ Mobile Al and all I can say is I wish we did not go!!! this place really dilutes and give this brand a bad name. Ok note that I have been to many Canes before I camed to this location. So I know and get what the atmosphere is suppose to give and all. But really? THE MUSIC IS WAY TO LOUD!! We ordered our meals The Box, & Canac dinners. We walk over to there nasty 🤢 tables & yes every last table was disgusting and It was not even busy . Like what are you doing Canes Of Mobile? Our meal was Awful !! The fries were soggy and old on every combo meal. Oh my goodness the chicken fingers made we won't to cry(not crispy). Awww man I'm sorry but that was top tier for me. I will never ever walk in that location ever again!!!!!! There is some locations probably you could give a second chance to. Iike maybe this was just a bad hour ,or day for this store. However, I lost on that. I will charge it to the game and never go back to that location Ever!!

Fried chicken this bland shouldn't exist. The chicken tasted like lightly salted cardboard. The fries barely met the requirement to be called fries. Food was hot and fresh, but the sweet tea was the best part of my 3 finger combo. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

I went there because I heard rumors that there was a high probability that the hot sign was on, but it was off 😕I went on a weekday around 4:30 p.m., and they said the time they made them was around 11 a.m.It was too bad 😓 of course the quality of the donuts was worst ever I had in Krispy Kreme donuts. Should avoid this place for your favorite Krispy Kreme.

Customer service was good, but the quality of the doughnuts I purchased was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I paid $30 for a dozen Harry Potter assortment and 2 of the sorting hat doughnuts and got home to try them and OMGosh! Nasty! The doughnuts were extremely dry and shriveled up! They tasted disgusting even the regular glazed that came with the assortment was horrible! I have been to this location numerous times even though I live 40 minutes away (they are the closest ones to me) and have ALWAYS gotten good/fresh doughnuts! I can only speak to the food quality, as I ordered delivery. I purchased the 24ct assorted doughnut holes, and unfortunately, they were very disappointing. The doughnuts were clearly not fresh — the sprinkles had melted, the flavors were mixed together, and they tasted like they'd been sitting out for quite a while. On top of that, I was shorted and didn’t even receive the full 24 count. This was my first time ordering from this location, and for nearly $20, I expected much better quality. Very disappointing.

Wasn't happy with service today. Happy with the new red donuts. Black girl working in the front had excellent customer service I'll come back and 5 star the experience once they only retain employees as her. The fluffy white girl looked angry as if the donuts is just for her and she was unhappy I planned to order some. She made my drink and served it with an attitude. Went here since I was a kid so I like the atmosphere feels nostalgic, I recently ordered the hero assorted for my birthday but the didn't have any wonder woman donuts this would be fine if they had told me before handing it of to me and me driving off with my order only to find out after arriving home. Also dont order the chilled lemonade it's overpriced for what is essentially those frozen lemonade cups you buy at the dollar store.

We ordered 2 boxes of doughnuts. We was only delivered one box. We tried to call the number for the store and no one will answer. We keep having to go to some 1800 number where they won't do anything either. They really need to focus on better customer service and paying attention. A business not answering the phone is very unprofessional. How can you stay in business or tend to customers needs if you don't answer the phone for a customer who is spending money at your establishment? This location need to focus on better customer service. Of course, they do not care as long as they are taking your money and they are making profits. The one customer you don't think matters could be a bridge to stop you from receiving dozens and many orders when the one customer has business partners that does business with you. These companies that treat customers like they don't matter better start thinking of that instead of just not caring.

It was a spotless restaurant dining area, and from what I could see, the kitchen was immaculate. Pizza 🍕 here is always good. This is a childhood favorite restaurant chain. Anytime I see one, I have to stop in. The only upset was with the staff. They seemed very lazy except for one girl who was no longer cleaning tables. She wasn't my cashier. However, while my cashier was busy taking another break, she sat at the side table on her phone, right behind the other girl on her cell phone, eating a pizza. This one worker was none 🛑 stop. She checked on my pizza, cleaned the dining room, and worked the corner. The others are sluggish, and management needs to address them ASAP. Overall, it is a spotless restaurant. To think I even tipped them 10% prior.

Pizza was Excellent! I haven't had Godfather's Pizza in over 25 yrs. It was just like I remember! At this location, service was almost as Great as the Pizza. I will always stop at this location, on my way to Florida.

Not the biggest review person but we went here with the family today! (Me, Sister, her husband and my nephew!) & Tiffany was fantastic. We saw the special for the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and the 1 topping with a side. She explained to us that we could get any specialty pizza with the 1 topping so we got pineapple. It was so good! She brought everything to our table, even went and got a pizza cutter for us to make sure we could get the slices off because we were struggling. She was fantastic, kind, helpful, willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure we had a great family lunch. Give that girl a raise please, we will be coming back and hoping she's there each time. Thank you Tiffany, glad we caught your name. ❤️

I love Godfather's Pizza. So, I was excited to see there was one next to our hotel because there is not one where we live. They have the best taco pizza! We had a late lunch and the girls working were friendly and helpful. They told my son where the crayons and color pages were so he could color pictures and they hung them on the wall for him to see. He was so excited. Our food was fast and perfect. We will definitely be back at this Godfather's next time we come in from out of town.

It was a pleasure to eat a flavorful pizza. Cheese to meat ratio was great! Fresh veggies and meat toppings are delicious on a good pie. The sauce was a little lacking but overall it was great! The monkey bread was great also! Thanks! It's better than the local chain competitors!

Staff was super friendly and attentive. They explained the menu and answered my questions quickly. The pizza was hot and fresh, but it just didn't have any flavor. Seemed very bland. Pizza is a very competitive game these days and you really need something to set you apart from the others. I didnt feel like this pizza lived up to those standards and probably won't go back.

I went to Chick-fil-A on dolphin Street and the food was nice but when I looked into the bag, my cookies weren’t in there. I had to get up and go back in and get my cookies and then once I opened my cookies they were cold and usually they’re warm and the fries tasted old.

Fast and friendly. We grabbed lunch here on the way back from vacation. They do a great job like the other locations.

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews but I don't ever remember having a bad meal at any Chick-fil-a until now. I love the Chick-n-Minis and decided to treat myself and co-worker to the 10 pc. Keep in mind that the cost is $11.59 in my area (that's a lot for breakfast for me). I don't usually go to the Dauphin Street location but it was close to work. I placed online order and let me say....buns were old and hard on the ends. It didn't even taste right. It wouldn't stay together and would fall apart when trying to eat it. There are still 6 of the 10 still left in the box. I'm so disappointed that they would serve this to customers. Customer service was great as always.

Didn’t get to eat breakfast this morning having a rough start of the day rushing to take daughter to surgery so placed a pickup order on the app and had my husband pick it up while I wait for our daughter to get out, and the worker was acting accusatory bothering my husband for trying to pick up the order for me profiling him I presume from how he was dressed since he’s a blue collar worker, I never had any issues before except with this location today. Do better! I get anyone can just come in there and pick it up but sometimes people send someone else to pickup for them it’s not uncommon.

Dining is well kept, well lit and cool. What sets this place apart is the demeanor of the staff. There can be a long line inside and the drive thru, but when they speak with its alway calm, polite and cheerful. You never have the feeling of being rushed. If happen to be picking up you'll be asked if you help within 5 minutes. Everyone works well together with the focus on serving the customer. Food is always fresh and hot. Service is fast, most times I've just taken my seat and a staff member is placing my food on the table. No matter how my day is, I always leave happier and glad I stopped in. Highly Recommend.

Wow I have been coming to this location for 5 yrs and have never got the service like I have today. I went through the drive thru and Dazzie was so rude. She told me that I was running Chick fil a. I asked for a strawberry lemonade and she went out of my view and came back laughing so I asked the manager Jay if he would remake my drink. The whole time I was there waiting on my drinks she’s asking me in a rude voice do you just want a refund. I will never go back there again. To think someone messing with your food or drinks is outrageous.

Originally from North Alabama, we don't have Fooshacklys there. We decided to eat here while we're down in Mobile. Went in and asked how the food sauce tastes. They came out with a sample of the sauce with fries and chicken! Then ordered, I spilled a coke all over the counter. Our food came out super quick. All the girls inside were super nice and helpful. Gave us a free drink. Highly recommend

First time trying this chain. The drive thru line was long and backed up so I walked in and was able to get my order placed and walked out with it within minutes. Flavorwise, the chicken is pretty bland but the jalapeño ranch sauce was a great addition.

I ordered the bacon ranch grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good it was just I didn't ask for onions and they were on there also the bread was a tab bit burnt. Other than that the salt and vinegar chips were good. Check them out.

Ordered a beach club for lunch and had it delivered to my job. Easiest sandwich on their menu. When I got it, it had one thick chunk of cheese on it with a small piece of deli meat that I couldn’t even tell what it was. It was pretty much inedible and it was not what I ordered or wanted!! This was my third time ordering from here with food that wasn’t good so I decided to give the store I got my sandwich from a call to let them know this is not okay. The Jimmy John’s employee answered the phone by saying, “Hello”. She was extremely short with me and rude. I’ll never order from here ever again!!

Unable to eat there on this particular visit. Location is across from the convention center and thousands of educations were released at the same.time and many descended there. Food is al ways great. I will be back next time.

Typically this is an okay go-to for a quick sandwich. After today, I will not be ordering from here again. Made an online order, received my sandwich - it was so soggy you couldn't eat it and the delivery person was very rude! She thought I forgot her tip and made a snide comment when I gave her the signed credit card receipt. She didn't know I was going to hand her cash for tip.. Also, sandwich had 1 piece of turkey and a small 1 strip of bacon.

Came in for breakfast today and my mom ordered her go to normal while I got the double chicken dinner with a waffle but the waiter should of placed my order of a crispy bacon alongside a extra double hashbrowns instead of being rude to the customer whom was placing the order!😤😡 please retrained the staff and waiters on the customer always right! The food was good. I enjoy Waffle House this was my first visit at this one. Had gotten blood work done before and not eaten or drank anything. 3 hours before the doctor appointment so a friend and I went to the closest to get something to eat. They were not really busy for 8 in the morning and about 6-7 people working. They took our order quickly but we did not get our drinks til after we got our food. Also usually they are always checking to see if you want more coffee but I had to ask when I could get someone’s attention. If they’d been busier and fewer people I’d understand. I can’t complain about the food and won’t but the service needs help

Hello, I just left from Waffle House and never had an issues with a worker. Today I had an issue. All I was doing was asking for some utensils and a plate and coworker got an attitude with me and threaten me. Well established and probably could be considered a staple of the city of Mobile because of its long standing in the community. As for the food, I wasn't disappointed at all. The chicken, tots, and okra were fried to perfection and seasoned like grandma did it. Let me be clear, this is a southern fried chicken joint that doesn't fit into your calorie counting if that's what you're into but great for a cheat day if you are😁!

She proceeded to tell me “ oh you about to go dance the only thing open is a strip club, that’s the only place open or why she would be up” she was trying to get her coworker to go along with it but I appreciate him not doing that. She was like “ oh even if she don’t got a man she still could dance etc. very inappropriate behavior. And it was not cool this conversation happened at 1:00am Sunday September 14th. If any staff tries to say it didn’t happen. I know Waffle House has audio on cameras and I’ll be making sure I follow up. I ordered 2 pork chops 2 eggs toast a sprite and cheese grits. Extremely disrespectful woman. Don’t even know her name but will be making sure I follow up. I shouldn’t be told that I’m eating too much food. I paid for that and shouldn’t have to deal with it. Very disappointed in the service but the cook was really nice and respectful. Just don’t understand why she thought it was okay to have such an inappropriate, hateful and disgusting toxic attitude. I went in for a BLT and hash browns… smothered, chunked, diced, capped, and topped. I left with a new gf and a black eye. I’m not sure what happened between 2:30 AM and 2:45 AM, but the waitress said “I held my own”.

The food was ok until we found a hair in the food. None of the employees had a hair net and they all had Michael Jackson style hair bundles sticking it their hats.

Waited 26 minutes on 2 plain spicy chicken sandwiches and they still got our orders wrong. There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant and 1 car in the drive-thru. 6 staff visible in the kitchen so they weren't short staffed. I would highly recommend driving to Chickasaw whataburger before coming here.

So.i ordered a Cobb Salad.online.and waited.in.a long drive.thru line for over 20 minutes, then gave up and came inside after giving up on your drive thru. Came inside and was barely greeted by a short guy with blood-shot eyes who wreaked of Marijuana to tell me he was out of the Cobb Salad which ordered and paid for online and told me I must speak to a manager for a refund. He then told me that no manager is on duty that I'll have to wait until they come to work the next day. There was at least 8 of these clowns on duty--all laughing and cutting up--meanwhile, I'm out $12. Better believe that I'll be back tomorrow morning to get my refund or sue your ass in Mobile County for the $12 + punitive damages if you fail at this too!

I usually don’t have a problem with this Whataburger. I went and we had wanted to try the new bacon wrangler double. Before i left out the parking lot i check my burgers both were wrong. Went back inside and i see people are still waiting on their orders as well and people are leaving. After a good 45 mins of waiting in the lobby, i get my burger and check it i get home both of the sandwiches is dry my sauce isn’t on one burger. The kids and adults that were working tonight act like they had no clue of what they were doing. So I’m not coming back to this one.

Just like all others this place has gone to shit. The food was so salty it was absolutely inedible. Fast food places need to stop messing with recipes and ingredients. Was the best once upon a time but total waste of money today.

I ordered sweet and spicy bbq burger w/ a lemonade and patty melt w/ a prickly pear raspberry refresher. The gentlemen didn’t ask me what size drink for either order but when I got to the window gave me a 20 oz drink for both. I asked if these were the standard size for combos, he said yes. I understood the refresher would be smaller as a specialty drink, but not was made aware the lemonade would be a craft lemonade as well and not a fountain drink. My fries were cold but my sandwiches were fresh.

The service was excellent!! Loved my chicken strips, and the sauces were great to try. I'm a honey mustard lover and this was very good, but I really enjoyed trying 3 of the other options. The Foos sauce was supposed to have a garlic flavor, so I was a bit uncertain about it but it was really good and not a lot of garlic flavor. Thanks for a great lunch for some weary travelers!

Ask for tenders to be crispy but all my tenders are very soggy and the skin is falling off like meat on a bone . I’m tired of coming to this foosacklys just to get what I did not order at this point just shut the whole franchise down.

I cannot tell you how good this place is over a review…. I’m normally a guy that uses alot of salt, and this chicken stop requires none!! The food is made so so good and the people treat you like they are serving you at your own house!!! I didn't order a meal as their meals are EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! I would NEVER pay that much for a burger or fries! However, I love the atmosphere! They seem to be very nice ppl! And the restroom was cleaner than any food establishment that I've ever been to. It smelled very nice too! My battery went dead, I was stranded. The sweet Mgr. The lady that opened that morning made sure that I got my battery charged .

The woman who took my order was delightful, but otherwise I have no idea why this place is so popular. Got a greasy burger on an untoasted, soggy bun, and the Cajun seasoning on the fries tasted like something out of a plastic jar bought from a discount bin. I won't be going back.

Walked in five minutes before close, fearful that they would be mad….but they were the nicest Two Guys you could imagine. They made my food, fresh and hot, and it was absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. This was my first time eating at Five Guys and you now have a customer for life.

Burger and fries was delicious but the staff was very unwelcoming and unmotivated overall. There was 3 people working and two customers ahead of me and I waited nearly 40 minutes for my food! Portions are huge, so the smallest size burger and fries was plenty for me but I wouldn’t return to this location due to the extremely long wait.

I came for a hotdogs before I leave town and couldn't get one anywhere else but here. The staff was very nice, the manager had a smile from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The cook prepared my food well! I was very happy with my visit

Burger was great and service was fast. Many rave about the fries, but I was not impressed. The Manger took my order and she was great.

So today, I have decided to do a review on Zaxby's. I have been to this fast food restaurant several times trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but nothing's changed after the three recent visits. So, every time I come here my food is never fresh and always cold! Let's not mention the one time that I came and a fly was locked inside my salad tray and I had to bring it back. Nope, I did not want another one, just a refund! So today I was offered the lemon pepper wings that are new on the menu and I'm assuming because they may sell a lot of them, they are pre-fried and not cooked to order, so they were cold, dried out, and old till the bones were turning dark beneath the meat. I often come because of the crinkle seasoned fries and the loaded fries but that's the end of that as they were hard and cold also. I actually should have stopped coming because anytime i have to heat my food up again, that's was a warning! . Zaxby's you have to do better!!!

We got the Zax Tender Family box and it was great.... However we barely had any fries and the tenders were small. This box is $35 after taxes and you expect it to be full. It's want but all in all, a good meal.

It's been 2 month & you guys have had a steady customer flow with me. No matter how much orders I place at this location this staff barely has any customer service. Charging $83 cents for ice for the my large sweet drink to be less sweet was ridiculous. How can staff not receiving commission & could have received a tip instead behave this way. Well guess what, I am placing orders elsewhere from now on. Zaxbys isn't on the top 50 franchise list to own in the area so every little bit counted I was sure. NP your staff won't miss it!!!

This is my 2nd Horrible experience with this store and its nighttime staff. On this rainy and muggy evening I decided I wasn’t going to cook and instead settle for Zaxby’s. Noticing the time, on a weekend, fingers were crossed due to previous experience. Order food and pickup around 6:30ish. Was asked to pull up to a parking space and they’ll bring food out. Before leaving drive thru order station, I asked to please put ketchup in bag and be sure to have light ice in sodas. She says ok then asks for me to drive to the window so she can park me. Pull around, mind u there’s no cars behind us. After getting to the window, she tells me where to park and I repeat, please put ketchup in the bags and light ice with sodas. She said on both of them, and I said please. Gets home, in my bed, movie started only to open the bag and there’s NOT ONE packet of ketchup. NOT ONE sauce of the 3 that came with our orders and we had wings and tenders. Toasts on both orders burned and hard as if they’ve sat out at least an hour. But into it and spit it all. A bite filled with burned toast taste. Even Sprite couldn’t wash it down 🤮 Fries was hard enough til u could hardly bite into them assuming they were overcooked and old. I was VERY upset. Called the store and speak with management, Sahara only for her to catch an attitude and says So what u want me to do. She then said You want to come back up here and I’ll give u the sauce as if she was bothered. I was very upset with her. No apology but an attitude. I’m undressed, in bed. I wouldn’t dare waste my gas/time to return for u to mess that up. I ate here yesterday during day shift and the food was Phenomenal. How did it go from a Perfect 10 to below 0 in a day; NIGHT CREW. They be more into their phones, giggling, laughing, playing behind the counter til they can careless about a customer

Spent $5 for half a box of bites. Almost 50 cents per bite. Higher ups trying to earn a bonus or staff didn’t feel like dropping more for a full order. Also got my main order all the way wrong after going over it in detail. What I ate tasted okay.

Zaxby’s isn’t my personal favorite—I prefer bone-in chicken, and the menu leans more toward boneless options. However, my husband is from the area and really enjoys this restaurant, so we stopped by during our visit. When we arrived, the lot was nearly empty, but it took quite a while for the cashier to acknowledge us and even longer for our order to be taken. That part of the experience was frustrating. That said, once the order was finally placed, the food came out surprisingly fast and was hot and fresh. While Zaxby’s may not be my go-to, I can see why locals enjoy it, and I appreciate the consistency in food quality.

Food was ok, but everything else was piss poor. When I have to repeat at the ordering screen, the payment window, and the pickup window that I placed a mobile order because they're trying get me to pay for another order or giving me another customers food, there's basic communication issues within the staff. On top of that, they left out sauces that come with the order, and when my co-worker wanted some ice in a different cup to dilute the diabetes inducing lemonade, we were given rude looks and told to pay an additional $0.83. Probably won't be back.

We took 2 different Uber rides to separate locations after midnight attempting to dine in despite all showing “open 24 hours” online and being turned away. To be fair, they are open 24 hours but after 9PM they are takeout only. Employees seemed disgruntled by this rule and it’s not advertised anywhere. If you’re takeout only after 9PM then your operational hours should reflect that so that people aren’t spending money on Uber rides to find out after the fact that you can only order from a walk up window and there are no tables to eat your foot on. Very poor judgement call on behalf of Waffle House corporate. I will not be returning to any Waffle House during any hours at this point.

This waffle house has seen better days. The food was cooked fast and accurately. The manager on duty did not lift a finger to help the struggles of her staff as the restaurant was full of people waiting to be seated. She was busy standing behind the counter trying to look important. Unbelievable how lazy people have become.

We decide to stop with my kids that is autistic to eat dinner so was my wife mother in law 4 kids and me so when we toll her all the orders for everyone she was laughing and say she cant take the order cause was to much for her so my wife say ok we go somewhere else to eat and she say are you serious?

The food is always cooked just right. My wife and I like crispy bacon and extra crispy hash browns, the crunch was delightful and oooh so flavorful! We played some tunes on the juke box and the manager turned the volume up so we could Jam Out while Baby Boy got some good waffle eating practice!!

San Jose burrito with chicken was really good but not a lot of chicken in it. Carne asada tacos were excellent! It’s hard to hear with the load music and grinding up meat. Really good food though and super friendly staff!

The food was amazing...it smelled like walking into Grandma's house! The service well...the waitress doesn't know how to properly serve. No, silverware, we had to ask for water. We had to ask for the chips and salsa, which were extremely hot, and she did not warn us. However, I would return and place a take out order because the food is really great! Also, the prices are pretty reasonable.

Excellent totally authentic Mexican restaurant so real you had to ask for an English menu. Food was fresh authentic and absolutely delicious. The hot sauce plate the give you has 4 authentic hot sauces each one is hot and delicious. They have a fresh meat counter that many customers were using while we were there. 100% recommended if you want true authentic Mexican food.

Prices have gone up, but quality isn't the same. Chickfila was our go-to for fast food, but it seems that lately the food isn't as good. The pictures included are from our latest order. Large fry that is barely halfway full, overcooked fries, and a burnt bun. I don't mind paying higher prices for quality, but at these prices why are we getting skimped on portions and with items that shouldn't be served? Please fix this location. Last year we would eat here a few times a month as our weekly treat and now we only eat here if we're feeling really lazy and need a meal quick.

I ordered four meals with drinks at the drive-through. They initially gave me only three drinks but realized their mistake and brought me another. However, instead of getting it from the machine, they retrieved it from somewhere else. When we got home and started eating, we discovered that three of the drinks were watered down, while only one was good. It seems they gave us three bad drinks and then got a decent one from a different machine. I called the store to report the issue, but the employee simply said, “We fixed it,” and then hung up on me. This was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Spending $50 at your establishment should come with better service and quality. Very disappointing experience overall.

Please be careful I usually don’t ever write reviews but this was serious. It is currently 4am and I have yet to sleep because of food poisoning. I have been profusely regurgitating from both places of my body, everything and it has yet to stop. I order a 12 count nugget a 8 count nuggets and a chicken sandwich. This was around 8:30 I order on Saturday. Luckily the chicken sandwich was not poisoned or it could’ve been very bad for my mother. I eat the chicken and with an half hour my stomach won’t stop hurting. I then go to bed and try to sleep it off, but then get the violent urge to throw up. It has been non stop since 11pm and it’s currently 4:02. This is extremely unlike chic fil an and i am extremely disappointed spending money here just to get food poisoning.

Chick-fil-A is a good place to get chicken nuggets and chicken sandwiches. Their chicken items taste fresh and are nice and warm. They have good French fries to have with meals. The staff seems nice and efficient and prices are reasonable. You can drive through or eat inside.

First time to eat breakfast at this fast food place and it was good. Generous portions of hash browns and delicious.

Opened the store 5 minutes late when workers were just standing around inside. Not all food was ready so I could not get my usual order. Food was awesome, but service was very poor. It’s like this every time I come to this location.

The staff is very rude and believes that if you don’t get other items on your burrito that it should be small asf and fit in the palm of your hand & then argue about it with you when you ask for a remake. Hello paying customers, good people! This store lacks diversity. Predominantly blck females about the same size or weight. They behave like an unprofessional family because of this. How did so much of the same people get hired at one location? Reverse discrimination! Understand when this happens if you are blck, skinny, wtye, female, male you could be discriminated against or let's say shouted at. Woman +S/ staff++S placed chicken on my burrito. I requested half and half she said it was too late. Okay another issue, Informed the manager my burrito was not warmed up. She used the most trashy hand signals, in the loudest voice in front of all her customers to let me know her staff did warm it up!!! She notified me my hot foods in my order, made it cold cause I didn't place cold foods in the burrito, thanks. She could also care less I have ordered from numerous Chipotles. As she said, the customer is usually wrong yelling belligerently and screaming this!!! Chipotle what have you created at this location?! Are you reading the other one star reviews? You are creating an environment of abuse for customers. If this behavior does not cease with action from upper management something formal will have to be done here. There is one who looks low & sits high. Franchises like these open and close over time!!! Do nothing or do something. Let's see!!!

i always have a problem with my food here. it’s either the chips are stale, the rice isn’t fully cooked OR the beans aren’t fully cooked. yall have got to do better seriously they just need to shut this location down at this point

Food is tasty but no longer worth the money. The portions keep getting smaller and less consistent. Chipotle should either use an effective measuring tool as a scoop or they should weigh the portions. I’m not trying to come off as a big back, but I watched the employee basically count out 4 little pieces of chicken while another employee watched them with hawk eyes. It felt like eating at someone’s house but they didn’t want to share.

We ordered ahead, got there at 840pm and store was destroyed. 4 workers no customers- our food hadnt been started even though it should have already been done. They came to me -10 mins late and said they didn’t have steak or fajitas or most of our requests. The store had not been cleaned at all. When I told the guy working I wanted to cancel my order because of lack of food and conditions of food that I could see he got upset and said “imagine if we were fully staffed what we could do.” I’m not so sure this store should be open in the condition it and the food was in when I got there. Truly disgusting and disappointing.

I had the sweet tea and the box which included chicken and fries and slaw and we got four different sauces. The chicken was so good it's lightly breaded, and the dipping sauces were all wonderful. They're all homemade or made there on premises. The sweet tea was very good. It's a fast food joint. friendly staff and a great place to get something quick if you're hungry in the area

Love their salad and all their food. Super-Fast. Order, sit down and the food comes in a very few minutes. Nice to have a healthy choice to eat at. I bring sliced radishes, celery and pecans to add. The inside is super clean. Went back today. Ordered and walked toward a table. My food was brought to me before I could sit down!

The Chicken fingers at Foosackly’s are very good though they are a little heavy handed with the salt. The fries are good as well but have the same salty issue. Doesn’t often stop me from ordering from there but they could easily lose 10 or 15 percent of the salt and still have a great product.

Our marriage has been quite stale lately, until we tried Finger in the buff! I’ll never have my fingers any other way. My husband doesn’t usually spice it up but now we always do! We make it more adventurous with ranch! Thank you Foo for saving our marriage!

My order was actually wrong through the drive thru and I was on my lunch break and couldn’t go back. I called and they said they had realized the mistake and already voided the charge to my card and then verified my phone number and they texted my a gift card to cover the amount of my next visit for the inconvenience. Betty is absolutely positively the best addition to Captain Ds. The fish is generally good. My piece was over battered and disgusting, though. The shrimp and lobster bites were deplorable. They are not food. They taste disgusting. They were the perfect example of bioengineered food being passed off as food. The lobster bites taste like imitation crab with lobster bullion. The shrimp, according to my daughter, look and taste like they took the unprocessed bile in the shrimp, mixed it with bullion and breading, shaped somewhat like shrimp, coated in more breading, and fried. The stuffed crab shell had no crabmeat. Captain Ds is disappointing as they are selling real food. It's too expensive for the food not to be real food. The hush puppies must have a new recipe. They were so dry that they could float in a beverage. The corn was overcooked and hard. Wtf. I work hard for my money and wasting it on what this restaurant chain is trying to pass off as food it trifling. It's unfortunate that the corporate office is not contacted via the app. All complaints are sent to local management. These restaurants will be closing for sure. That crap is not food. People are going to notice. If you decide to patronize, stick to the fish.

Ordered a two piece flounder meal with green beans and bread with A EXTRA BREAD. I only received one bread stick and obviously this is tilapia and not flounder. I am sooo disappointed. I usually check my order at the window instead I waited until I got home hoping everything was correct. If I ain’t have my (churn and yes I said churn) with me who was tired I would have took it back !

I would give this place negative 10 my best friend went through the drive through to get a flounder fish sandwich but was told they were out then he order 1/2 dozen oyster, fries and cold slaw he paid almost 12 dollars and when he got somewhere to stop to eat he had one empty box and another box had a roll. He did go back to get his money but i am sorry, that is not checking the order before giving to the customer or they were trying to take an older person for granted.

$34 of overcooked rubbber food that just got thrown away. At first i thought it was chicken i had gotten, but it was double battered old fish. You couldn’t even break it in half it was so hard. Fries also ice cold. Best part was my drink. Would not return.

I normally love having dinner with Captain D's but my last two visits at this location was horrible. The service is very slow, the size of the fish is much smaller " not much bigger then the hushpuppies" and they don't package the liquid foods to not spill. I was very disappointed with it all. Had I lived closer to the restaurant I would have returned the food. I will not dine at this location again. They need better management with service all around. Very disappointed after paying almost 30 bucks I could have had a real meal at a fish house and had much better food.

Waited 30 minutes for burnt inedible Ocra missing half the things in my meals. Pretty bad when it takes 30 min to get horrible stale food. I ordered an extra side of hush puppies which where not included nor any of the ones that come in the meal already. Customer service is just as bad

The service was great. A nice guy who seemed to be in management helped carry our food to the car. But I got home & was very upset because not 1 sauce was put in the box/bags. I bought extra sauces and not even the sauce that was supposed to come with the meal was there.

I ordered the Asian sensation Salad it looked so delicious and fresh in the advertisement. I was sooo disappointed the salad has great potential if the mixed greens would have been fresh there was a lot of wilted lettuce in there which ruined my appetite.

I was shorted and item on my order that was delivered. I drove up there to get it and waited nearly 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Once o explain the issue the Assistant Manager refused to give me the item. He said it was not there problem once the order leaves the store. He said I couldn't prove that it wasn't picked up and I told he couldn't prove that it was. He acted like it was coming out his check. I am now out the money and the item. I eat at Zaxbys at least twice a week. The service at this store has been subpar my last couple of trips. I won't be back to any location because I'm not going to support a place thay basically calls me a liar and refuses to give me what I paid for.

The worker, Jehki, who took my order was VERY polite, friendly, and customer service oriented. I just wanted the unwich but she asked me did I want to add a drink, chips, or cookie to my order which I declined. She also asked me was I a rewards member and explained to me the benefits of becoming a rewards member. I had a short wait time while my order was fixed and I like the fact that everyone had on masks and gloves adhering to safety precautions.

they charged me twice and refused to give me a refund or the service i PAID TWICE FOR. the district manager was there when it happened and he had the biggest attitude about it when i asked when it will refund then proceeded to lie and say it will refund automatically that night. it’s been a month and i still haven’t gotten my refund. definitely won’t be going back there. not to mention every employee has no idea how to do anything but make a sandwich lol….

This is a decent sandwich store. I like some store deli sandwiches better but this place is very convenient, fresh and tasty and staff are clean and nice and their prices are reasonable for good fresh made sandwiches.

They won't deliver if you're paying cash, so don't even waste your time ordering online if you have cash. They will call and tell you that you need to prepay and then cancel your order. Since paying cash is no longer an option, they need to remove it from their website because it's inconvenient for customers.

Use to be good and a decent size but now apparently roast beef and vegetable are to valuable to give any to costumers. Really two slices of roast beef 2? WOW thanks Joe! "The Big Guy" should have saved 20bucks and made a bologna 🥪

I’m a loyal customer , the snow cone was really great it’s so hot this was the perfect place to come . Oh and all for under 10.00 dollars…

Al's has been a must-have every time I'm in Mobile because everything I've had is delicious. Be sure to try the hot dog dressed all the way and the potato salad is the best I've ever had. Today, I tried the crawfish etoufee and it was flavorful with just the right spice.

For a hot dog place Al's great. Their other items are pretty good as well.

Horrible place, don't go here. Got our order wrong in several different ways, all the drinks tasted watered down and the unsweet tea had a horrible amount of sugar in it. My burger (which was already wrong) was also uncooked in the middle. I normally have medium rare when I'm at a restaurant but with how this place is ran I don't trust it. And when we went up front to correct our order, there were 4 or 5 other people standing around trying to to get their orders fixed/get their missing things. And if you plan of paying with cash, just forget it, no one seems to take orders out front they just ignore you.

Worst McDonald's on the planet. They should lose their franchise. Store not open on time, bums literally sleeping in the parking lot - you have to dodge them in drove through. Management doesn't care. I've never paid full price for a large coffee and had to argue with the manager to get cream. The next time, they screwed up my mobile order and the manager told me "no, we didn't.". Uh, like hello, I have the burger right here, and I did not order my double cheeseburger dripping with big Mac sauce! I tried calling the office, and they won't even call me back! 6:30 am and they're not open. The sign says 6:00!

Slow service, bought a #1 large with no onions w/ sweet tea. I left and saw they gave me a medium so I went back and waited 7 more minutes for a large fry only to get to work and see that they also gave me a Big Mac plain with only cheese. I tried to call the phone and it’s busy, no way to contact them and I’m back at work off my lunch break. Thanks a lot. I won’t return.

Ordered 2 QP meals, and a chicken sandwich. Everything was burnt to a black crisp. Better get a cook, who can cook. Not one who comes from the back, to look at you through the window. we pulled up to the drive through window and said VERY clearly said that we would like to order two large fries and four ranch cups. the lady asked for our order again, so we repeated it, then she asked again so we repeated it. for a total of four times we repeated our order. then when we pulled up to the first window, on the receipt it read “one medium fry and one large fry” so we told the lady at the first window that we ordered two large fries, and she said that she was aware and was going to change it for us. we waited about TEN MINUTES for two fries, and when we eventually got them there was a medium fry and a large fry in the bag. we had to tell the man at the second window that we specifically ordered two large fries, and he stared at us for a minute before getting us the fry we ordered. the food was perfectly fine, but the service was utterly horrible. definitely suggest going to a different mcdonald’s if you want friendly and fast service.

The nuggets tasted chewy, The were out of sprite and dr. pepper. There was no soap in the men's bathroom, trash was full, the place was dirty and they seem unorganized. The young man at the register was very nice and well mannered.

You have to order at a kiosk which would be fine if it ever printed a receipt so you could get your order number. Floors are filthy, dead bugs in the windows, full trash cans. No self service drink station in the lobby is odd. When I say my food was old I dont mean it was just cold. Breads taste stale and nuggets had obviously been sitting around for a while. I thought another review about homeless people living in the parking lot was a joke…. It was not

I recently visited Burger King I ordered the mushroom melt sandwich . I can say I wasn't impressed at all! First of all this sandwich shouldn't have been served without being grilled. I received my sandwich on cold bread and half cold cold cheese which is not correct for a melt sandwich. Not to mention the weird ranch sauce that was on this burger🤢 . Please do better Burger King this is not considered a true melt!

A 5.00 coupon is what they tried to offer my family!? This is one of the most awful experiences I've ever had with a fast food restaurant. First I had went and bought groceries and I just wanted to grab some food on the way home.There is a burger king down the road from walmart. I didn't realize that my app had saved the Burger King that was 15 minutes away on the other side of town as my main store. I placed my order and it went to the wrong store. There was no button to cancel the order . There was no one that I could call. I tried to call both of the stores to let them know I placed the wrong order please don't cook the food but no one answers the phone. I drove to the Burger King that was near me and I asked to speak to the manager thinking that she would have the phone number to the other store and could call them and let them know that the order was placed at the wrong store before they started cooking it. The manager at that store wouldn't even talk to me she told the employee to tell me that once an order was placed there's nothing that can be done. I have to go to that store to pick it up. Remember I have groceries in my car so I called my husband to tell him to head to the Burger King on Highway 90 that I accidentally placed the order at the wrong store. I go home and put up groceries while my husband goes to get the food. My husband arrives at the highway 90 location and the food is not even ready it's been 25 plus minutes since I ordered the food. He sits there and he's waiting on the food. They were extremely rude and he heard A an employee say "well he'll just have to get over it " my husband gets back home with the food and it is not even what I ordered!!! Instead of the two melts that I ordered they gave him two Whopper juniors. We did get the nuggets and the mozzarella sticks. All of the food was cold the cheese had melted out of the mozzarella sticks and some of them were empty. The Whopper Juniors were just covered in mayonnaise we didn't even order Whoppers. So we scrape the mayonnaise off and ate it the best we could because we have a 2-year-old and we needed give her dinner and get her to get her to sleep. Monday morning my husband has to leave work because he is extremely ill. He went to his primary care doctor because he had chills and fever, stomach cramps, diarrhea. His primary care doctor hospitalized him! I'm not even kidding you. He had food poisoning from someone not washing their hands at Burger King!!! The health department is actually involved in this situation. Their disgusting fast food almost killed my husband. We will never eat at Burger King ever again. Yes, I am going to leave a review because people need to know! Burger King doesn't care about its customers. The staff does not care about the customers. They don't wash their hands. It's dangerous and people need to know the condition of that store and the company!

We order in advance with their app and this particular location almost never gets it right, even when they ask questions. The order is never ready for pickup.

It was horrible the employees were all ghetto andy food was cold I was just to hungry to bring it back the only thing was good was the milk shake was strawberry large I just love they milkshakes

My family and I stopped eating Burger King, simply for the fact that their commercials suck, they need to change the song or change whoever is in charge of marketing.

Hamburger was very cold french fries was cold and salty put to much of mayonnaise and ketchup on my burger I ask for light and cut in half didn't get anything I ask for.

Just got a microwaved burger no doubt about it in drive thru just now I’m so glad you ruined my only opportunity at dinner with a over heated shriveled mess of my dinner! Absolutely shocked and will follow up this best believe it! Clearly you can see the dark hard bun and discoloration of it as it was hard and rubbery all of it I could even try to but on was awful and hope you enjoy knowing you ruined my dinner this evening and I work very hard and looked forward to at least my meal!!
