Restaurant
La Palapa by Eden Roc offers a memorable dining experience with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. Known for its fresh seafood, including popular dishes like sushi and ceviche, the restaurant combines Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine in an elegant and sophisticated fusion.
Lapalapa is a high end beach restaurant with great service and delicious food. We visited on a Friday night and there was a live saxophone player who was very talented. It's a bit expensive and you should plan on valet parking. There was no charge for it but a tip is recommended.

The food was great, the view is even better, love it.
Andy S — Google review
It was an amazing experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The views are 10/10 also! 😁
Gabriel H — Google review
Honestly I never leave restaurant reviews but unfortunately La palapa did not hit the spot. That being said, the atmosphere and staff were absolutely lovely but the restaurant truly is a ripoff. For Eden Roc standards, I felt severely let down. They claim to be the #1 hotel in the Caribbean and then let a restaurant like this operate on their property. Now for the food. We started with the shrimp, avocado and hearts of palm salad. It was fresh but lacked any flavor, especially in the so called “mustard seed dressing.” We also had the tuna tartare, which was fresh but the miso ginger sauce lacked in flavor, once again. For our mains we shared the ‘special sushi roll’, a king crab and red tuna roll, which was fine, but there was nothing special about it. And the cherry on top was the 1lb red snapper we had for our entree. The server filleted the whole grilled fish table side and proceeded to scrap off maybe a 1/2 cup size portion of fish flakes. Overall, two appetizers, a sushi roll and a 1lb fish (and a bottle of water) was $167usd, just not worth it.
Arielle S — Google review
La Palapa is truly a magical place you're sure not to forget in a hurry - from the views, the tropical beach, the food and of course the amazing staff, that really bring the experience to life. Whether you're booking a villa, a bungalow (as per the photos) or a beachfront suite... the best just keeps getting better. Feel free to contact me for activity recommendations, and anything else in the local area

Everything was amazing. The service was 10/10 Carlos was our server!!! Great service tip him well if you go! Manager Jonathan was great came to talk to us and made it a great experience!
Eric C — Google review
Enjoyed an evening by the water listening to the waves crash against the rocks in the sand at La Palapa. The restaurant is lovely with excellent service. The food was quite good with excellent recommendations from the waiter. Would go again. Definitely recommend trying the authentic meals available.
Jennifer E — Google review
Great chef and restaurant. What disappoints is the spontaneous visit is always ruined by "face control " and inability just to go to restaurant without being stopped at reception unless you have reservation. Annoying, so place is just never full or busy. Reasonably priced comparing to Zurich, Tokyo or New York City yet "inaccessible" to low key property owners and residents of Cap Cana.

Nestled on the shores of Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana, Jellyfish Restaurant is a sought-after off-resort venue for various events, including weddings. Its unique architecture and stunning beach views make it an ideal location for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations. The restaurant offers fresh seafood dishes and a selection of international cuisine at reasonable prices, earning it popularity among tourists. Families are also welcome, with special menus for kids and a safe environment.
Jellyfish was an incredible experience! The beach view was absolutely amazing. It created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The food was fresh and delicious, with every dish full of flavor, and the service was attentive and friendly the whole time. Everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. Definitely planning to visit again the next time I come back to Punta Cana.

Service was very good. Juan took great care of us. We got the mahi mahi and the langostino pasta. It was one of the best meals we had all week staying at an all-inclusive resort. Very comfortable outdoor beach facing vibe, and they covered it up in the evening when it started raining, it was fun. Highly recommend.
William H — Google review
Beautiful view, good service, the food portions are okay but no taste at all, we got the sea food platter and it was way to over cooked, VERY rubbery and dry unfortunately. But the view is amazing, the drinks are very good as well. Definitely on the prices end, paid around $200US for 2 people. 1 app 1 meal 2 drinks.

Our dream wedding! If you are considering hosting your wedding here, don’t walk - RUN to book with Farah and her team. After MONTHS of frustration dealing with the resort for our wedding another bride told us to contact Jellyfish. We are so glad that we did. The resort we originally booked at clearly felt entitled to our business and charged absurd premiums. Instead, Farah and the Jellyfish team CONTINUOUSLY earned our business and trust. From the moment we (very quickly) heard back from them we had zero doubts that they could be trusted to take our wedding seriously and be responsible for our most important day. Farah is a PROFESSIONAL and unmatched talent in wedding planning. From beginning to end the process was seamless, stress free, and an incredible experience. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our biggest decisions were, “which amazing menu should our guests have?”. Farah handled everything and made planning our event actually fun. This is the experience you THINK you should get at an all inclusive. Instead you get it on the beautiful beach at Jellyfish. Our wedding was ‘only’ 18 people, which other venues struggled to provide appropriate suggestions for. This was not at all a problem for Jellyfish. We were given the second floor all to ourselves and they cleared the beach for our ceremony and dance party. It felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Farah even arranged for an absolutely stunning suite next door so my bride and her bridesmaids could get ready. Oh and the food? Every single guest said it was the best meal of our weeklong destination wedding trip. We cannot recommend Jellyfish enough for events. You will get an incredible experience at a great price. If you have as incredible an experience as ours - please remember to tip. Farah and her team need to keep doing their incredible work. I can see Farah going incredibly far in this career. My only regret is I wish we had switched to Jellyfish sooner. Well done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jellyfish is a MUST when visiting Punta Cana. Scenery - the beach view is amazing. Make sure you get a cabana. The beach is up at night. Service - our waiter Juan Manuel was awesome. He took great care of us and was so gracious. Food - muy delicioso! Well seasoned and huge portions.
Marni C — Google review
Good lobster with butter and garlic sauce, but a little overcooked. There is no place to eat inside, and we asked to change tables because leaves, flowers and insects were falling from the plants above. We took advantage of the sun loungers and parasols on the beach, which were included with lunch, but when we asked the first waiter, he told us it wasn't possible. The second waiter was very kind and brought us our personal wristbands. Prices were a little high, but it was a nice experience. The beach was very clean and well worth it. In the evening, when everything is lit up, the place is very romantic. The road to access and the parking were awful.
Marco Z — Google review
Dario is AMAZING!!!! Services and wonderful food! The food was soooo good! We had the surf and turf and a lobster tail. The butter sauce on the lobster tail was delicious! Such a great piece on the beach to eat!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Jellyfish Restaurant, and Sandy made the entire experience unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From his warm smile to his thoughtful service, he truly made us feel special. The food and atmosphere were amazing, but Sandy’s outstanding service is what made the night one to remember. Thank you, Sandy, for making my birthday celebration so wonderful! If you’re traveling here on vacation, I highly recommend this restaurant. However, please make sure to take cash, as all restaurants require a service charge fee of 28%.

Citrus Fusion Cuisine is a top dining spot in Punta Cana, offering a diverse menu featuring dishes from the Caribbean, Italy, and Asia. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create enticing sushi specials, ceviche, tartar dishes, and more. Visitors can savor the flavors of fried fish with local seasonings or opt for lobster dishes. Additionally, comfort food options like pasta and burgers are available for those seeking familiar tastes.
Loved it! We ate there twice! The food is amazing and our server Jeffery, aka Mr. Solution, is wonderful and we requested him for the second meal! He is fabulous. We enjoyed everything, but would recommend without reservation the mojito, salmon crochettes, and any of the fish entrees. The ambiance is great and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Definitely our favorite dinner spot during our honeymoon. We ate here five times. The food was always fresh and delicious. Beautiful presentation. The service was excellent. The waiters were the best I've ever seen. I wish I had easy access to food like this here in Kentucky. Looking forward to next year.

Very nice dining experience. Prices are okay Ang you get big portions. We ate here twice during our stay. Not giving 5 stars because one of the stakes we got was half inedible fat. Apart from that we had an amazing experience both times ☺️

I’m not gonna front! This is totally a 5-star experience! The ambience of the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and well as the super friendly staff! Our Girls Trip group decided this would be our destination for our final dinner! The food was flavorful and I wanted to sample more and more! I highly recommend if you are in the Los Corales area to check out Citrus!

Highly recommend, one of our favourite restaurants to visit in Bavaro! As a date night or just when we fancy good food, the prices are great, the food is exquisite. The servers are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The sushi is great, the lobster is seasonally priced by the lbs. What's not to love!!

Food was absolutely spectacular, every dish was full of flavor! The service and atmosphere were just as amazing, and the servers’ team was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Portions are on the smaller side but very tasty and satisfying we left feeling full and happy. 💡 Tip for visitors: In the Dominican Republic, “10 ley” refers to a mandatory 10% service charge added to restaurant and hotel bills. This is shared among the staff but doesn’t replace a personal tip for your server. With the 18% sales tax (ITBIS), your total will include 28% in charges, so it’s customary to leave an additional 10% tip for great service.

Loved this place! Went here to celebrate my son's 11th birthday. We didn't bring "fancy" clothes on our trip, and this place felt a little more upscale, but they still welcomed us in with open arms. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic. Even though we didn't get dessert, they still celebrated with my son. Above and beyond, you should definitely visit.

Restaurante Montserrat Manor is a top-rated dining spot in Punta Cana, specializing in seafood and steak. Located at the Hard Rock Hotel, it offers modern American cuisine with high-quality meat and a fusion of global flavors. Named after the Caribbean island of Montserrat, this upscale restaurant provides an elegant and contemporary setting for a unique dining experience. Junior was extremely attentive to our entire table, couldn’t recommend him enough. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, not to mention the amazing food they offer. I would absolutely recommend coming here to anyone, you won’t be disappointed!

Went while on vacation, took my GF for her birthday. It was pretty good. Not amazing. Overall an enjoyable experience. The empanadas weren't great... but the salmon tartar was nice. We went with the surf and turf and salmon risotto for the mains. We both enjoyed
Desmond M — Google review
I am never happy with the food here in Dominican Republic , this restaurant completely changed my mind. Everything was so fresh , delicious and appetizing. Starting with the bread rolls & butter. The pizza was delicious and must try for sure , the salmon and risotto was spectacular and the tres leches dessert is a must, the tomatoe soup and grilled cheese was delicious as well. The salad I would suggest getting the dressing on the side. The staff was very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be going back !
Stephanie O — Google review
Wanted to go somewhere nice for my birthday dinner (I didn't like the restaurants at the hotel i was staying at). Raphael and I believe her name was Priscilla(she had a ponytail) were very attentive. The food was excellent. The vibe of the restaurant was exactly what I was looking for. I was going to go with another restaurant that evening but I think I made the correct choice.
Francine W — Google review
Very elegant atmosphere and the service was great! They were unfortunately out of lobster for the main course, grilled and appetizer, tempura offered. Besides that, everything was fantastic. Our meals were delicious and too quality. By far the best meal we had at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana.
Jody R — Google review
Everything we had here was absolutely amazing! The hostess, Yenny, seated us at the spot we wanted and our waiter Francisco was very attentive. Everything was served at the perfect temperature, the flavors were rich, the presentation was beautiful and they surprised us birthday girls with a delicious dessert topped with a sparkler! I ordered the Risotto (large enough to share) and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had! The sweet potato side with goat cheese was also delicious and definitely worth it. Reservations are a good idea, and this spot is a must whether staying on-site or nearby. I would absolutely go back!
Mel B — Google review
Very Disappointing We chose this restaurant as a special treat - paying for a meal when staying at an all-inclusive resort. The atmosphere is excellent but the food and service were both horrible. My wife had the spaghetti with shrimp dish and it wasn’t even so so. I had the halibut and it was grossly overcooked - tough and dry. Wait staff were neither warm nor friendly - disengaged and chatting among themselves. And the bill was over US$200! We were there twice tonight - first and last time.

Very elegant and classy. The service can be a bit slow and forgot several orders but overall it was fine dining and the food was excellent

Seafood restaurant
Herman 311 Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant and inviting spot located in the Calle Italia Shopping Center, just across from the Bavaro Princess Hotel in Punta Cana. This lively restaurant offers a unique dining experience with an exciting atmosphere and delicious food. Whether you're craving fresh seafood, mouthwatering mojitos from the bar, or the best lobsters in town, Herman 311 has it all.
We are from the U.S.. The first time we were there we had a server Ericsson. I had the octopus starter and the grilled seafood plate. My wife had a cheese burger. She doesn't like seafood. The grilled seafood plate is a must. As we were leaving we saw someone have the tomahawk steak. You guessed we had to come back. A few days later we had a server Richie. They both help us out they spoke English very well. We had the tomahawk steak. That is another must have. . Oh so good the sides were the mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. Everything tasted so clean. All fresh and so good! Thank you staff and the Chef for all the great flavorful food. Great job!
Steve G — Google review
A Culinary Gem with Outstanding Service! Herman 311 Bar & Restaurant completely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs thanks to the incredible service from Angelo and Ruth. They were attentive, personable, and made the entire experience feel warm and memorable. Now, let’s talk about the food, wow! The grilled octopus was perfectly charred, tender, and bursting with flavor. I’ve had octopus in a lot of places, but this one easily takes the top spot. The paella? Absolute perfection. Rich, aromatic, and packed with seafood, each bite was better than the last. And believe it or not, the chicken Caesar salad might’ve stolen the show. It was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled chicken, crisp romaine, just the right amount of dressing, and those house made croutons were next level. Whether you’re local or just passing through, Herman 311 is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back — and asking for Angelo and Ruth by name!
Gunny G — Google review
I took my family to Herman 311 for seafood and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was part of a steakhouse right next to it called Kaboclo. We ordered from both; a massive Tomahawk and a lobster fresh from the sea as well appetizers and sides Everything we ordered was delicious. They had a large outdoor dining area with music and beautiful ambiance. We asked to move inside when my daughters started to feel cold from the evening breeze. The interior dining room was even more lovely with classy decorations and large mural of flowers and an giant octopus. The icing on the overall experience was the great service provided by our server, Voja, who gave us great recommendations and kindly explained the food to us. He genuinely made us feel welcomed. Can't really go wrong with this beautiful restaurant.
Joe V — Google review
What a wonderful place to eat! The service was perfect, very attentive, and gave us recommendations and some things to try on the house. The food was flavored well and tasted delicious! We started with the Classic Ceviche and a Caesar salad, both great choices. For our main, we shared the tomahawk, cooked to perfection with a wonderful chimichurri. We paired it with a great Argentinian malbec. This was a great intimate spot. It is combined with another restaurant. They have a great wine selection and a full bar. I very much recommend it!

Decided to venture off from resort food and try something around the area. Service and food were amazing. I had Lobster and my wife had grilled fish (whole fish). Food was on point. Our server Richy was very attentive and pleasant. Lots of sitting outside and lots of wine. Lol. Would go back.

Perfect place for lunch! Beautiful view and great food. My wife had the tuna and I had the catch of the day. Including tip and taxes our lunch was about $60 but well worth the experience. You can enjoy the quiet beach before or after as well.

Meal was nice. Bread service with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Sparking and still available for waters. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Great view of beach at the clubhouse. Prices around $40+ for dinner. Service was decent. We were the only people there but it was difficult getting their attention for service

I just want to say a very much 🙏 🙏🙏 to the whole staff of the Grill for their service and their hospitality to a very special night for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The whole staff was just so warming and welcoming to the whole family everything that was going on was just so wonderful and very thoughtful. The food was delicious and amazing as the chef came out and introduce himself to all of his meals. The Grill is the perfect place for any event to take place. The staff was dedicated from the beginning. Thank you so much TO EVERYONE AT THE GRILL for making this day a day to remember. This is an awesome restaurant.

We loved our afternoon at The Grill at the Punta Cana Resort. Arrismendi was our outstanding server and became our friend! It was our daughters 21st birthday and the entire staff at the Grill did an outstanding job of making us feel comfortable, supported and like we were family. The views are spectacular and you have to see it to believe it. Take your family to this restaurant and impress them :)!

Came here for dinner and the menu was different than what we had seen online. They also may not have everything on the menu if it is out of season (lobster). Ended up staying and getting something else and it ended up being really good. Portions were a bit small as they don't really come with anything (sides are separate). The waiter was super nice. Would definitely eat here again.

The fried red snapper was great, the arepas are sooo good! I enjoyed everything....
Joya G — Google review
Horrible!!!! Frozen bread, meat. Worse quality. No service. Asked for a glass of red wine, they brought me an ice cold glass of red wine (without showing me the bottle)!! Asked for butter for the bread. Butter was liquid.... picture. So yes it’s low season and the resort is empty and the chef is only here in high season and the room price is 50% off its high, but everything has its limits and you should not take the clients who dare come for pigeons or worse turkeys...

We had high expectations and our experience was okay. Food took a while to come out, we could’ve done for a walk and returned… and the taste was just not there for the price. Service was also fine, but nothing stood out, unfortunately. What made our experience better, was meeting Angel and Swarmi before we left. We would’ve stayed longer at the bar for them to take care of us.
Grecia M — Google review
Cheviche, seafood pasta and red snapper were all very fresh and delicately prepared. Very sophisticated and well presented.
Renee K — Google review
Very good food, the best appetizers are the beef Carpaccio and the foie gras. If your hungry get the lamb risotto. Sea-bass and red snapper is grilled in similar fashion. Good flavor but not enough to satisfy your hunger.
Paolo S — Google review
I am not sure how this restaurant has this high rating. We had a party of 10 and the food took almost 2 hours to come out. Additionally the pasta we ordered was raw and the paella was burnt on the bottom. It is extremely disappointing to them charge such high prices for a very low quality food. I would skip this and spend money getting a private chef for a much more affordable price.

The best restaurant with the best service we experience in our whole time in the DR

The best restaurant in Punta Cana, in an elevated setting. Elegant but not pretentious, elaborated but light in cuisine, I recommend Bamboo without hesitation. Everything is on point, from the service to the presentation of the dishes, which are all excellent. I tried only seafood but I am sure the meats are top of the game as well.

Teppanyaki restaurant
If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, Zen is the place to be in Punta Cana. This vibrant restaurant specializes in Japanese and Chinese dishes, offering a unique twist on beloved classics like miso soup, fried ice cream, and yakimeshi. What sets Zen apart is its captivating teppanyaki experience; skilled chefs prepare your meal right before your eyes with impressive knife skills and entertaining tricks that add an extra layer of excitement to your dining experience.
Honestly and after we tried many restaurants this is the one of the two restaurants we really enjoyed eating in it during our stay in the hard rock hotel in Punta Cana The food was good and the chef was funny and the service was good and friendly
Karl B — Google review
We went to Zen at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana for our Anniversary and the chef was horrible. We did the hibachi which chef didn’t put a show at all, The steak was over cooked, chicken was hard, rice was not fully cooked and he didn’t even ask if anyone was celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary. I was very disappointed.
Jessica C — Google review
The food and overall experience are just underwhelming. There's no menu, they serve you some fried rice with beef, chicken, shrimp and some grilled veggies. The cook didn't seem to be in a mood for many stunts, and dropped one egg, stopping all stunts afterwards. The server had a smug that just annoyed me. Long story short, the food was decent, but for the price they charge I expected way more. It just doesn't worth it.
Cassio L — Google review
I think you’re here more for the hibachi show than the food. Food was really just a single fried rice dish with 3 meats and veggies. That’s your dish. The fried dough ice cream desert was good. It was entertaining.
Mony K — Google review
If you’re staying at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and manage to score a reservation at Zen Asian Teppanyaki (one of the only two spots that actually require one), consider yourself lucky—or just really good at planning ahead. They sit you with total strangers around a big teppanyaki table, so get ready for some polite small talk while everyone pretends to know how to use chopsticks. The chef puts on a fiery knife show that feels part cooking, part stand-up comedy, though I’ve seen backyard BBQs with more energy. The set menu — sushi, edamame, fried rice, chicken, beef, and shrimp — is decent, but not exactly award-winning. It’s more about the show than the flavor, with fire tricks doing most of the heavy lifting. All in all, it’s an hour of mild fun — you’ll leave looking for some dessert and saying, “Yeah, that was fine,” not “Wow, I need to come back.”
Valek — Google review
This was one of our fave meals. The hibachi was fun and lots of food. Steak, chicken and shrimp with veggies and fried rice. Everything was tasty and well cooked. Didn't love the sushi but it was ok. Miso soup was good. Hibachi show was fun and entertaining. Update: We went back for a second night and it was just as good. One suggestion...wait staff and hibachi chefs should share tips. We tipped the chef thinking they shared but found out they did not. They are a team per table and should just do a percentage each.

Nestled along the stunning Arena Gorda Beach, KUKUA Restaurant Beach Club offers a picturesque setting for weddings and events. With its sparkling pool and breathtaking views of the sea and sunset, this elegant venue is a popular choice for both casual beachside celebrations and elaborate affairs. The restaurant's quality service, outstanding food, and personalized wedding planning make it a sought-after destination hotspot.
The wedding of our dreams! You have the flexibility customize every detail (or not if you don’t want to!). Rachel was extremely transparent about pricing and expectations throughout the entire year we spent planning for our big day. We knew down to the penny what was owed and every time we made modifications, we received an updated quote. We never felt pressured to upgrade or add in certain extras. Kukua staff were friendly and highly professional! Food was fantastic and venue felt so private compared to the other weddings we saw at our resort. As someone who used to work in the service/catering industry, I was very impressed and cannot recommend this venue enough!

Wedding Date: 04.05.2025 Planning: First I would like to say that planning our wedding was an absolute breeze. I can’t even imagine what it’s like having to plan a wedding in the states after doing it like this. The hardest part of planning was picking out what style decor I wanted. It felt so luxurious sending inspiration pictures and saying “I’d like to do this” and Kukua made it happen. I booked with Kukua a little over a year and a half before my wedding date so I had plenty of meetings and email exchanges with Rachel. Rachel was so easy to work with and very responsive to all my emails. She made the planning process stress free, exciting, and fun! If had the opportunity to do everything all over again, I would do everything all the same. Venue/Decor: Absolutely breathtaking, Mayte took my inspiration pictures and made them come to life but 10x better. When I first saw our decor the morning of my wedding I couldn’t help but cry because everything was just SO beautiful. Our guests raved about the decor/details and how picture perfect everything was. The staff was also amazing, everyone was so friendly, professional and they made sure we were all taken care of. For having a destination beach wedding everyone was very impressed by how formal everything was which is exactly what we wanted! Food/Drink: For dinner we did the caesar salad, penne pasta, beef tenderloin and red snapper. For our dessert table we had chocolate mousse, churros, and crème brûlée. We all loved everything, it was delicious. For our drinks we had Sex On The Beach and Something Blue, these were also very tasty! We did have hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour but we ended up never trying them because we were busy taking photos. The staff did bring us over some plus cocktails while we were taking photos during cocktail hour, but we opted to finish photos rather than take a break to eat but they looked great. Our guests said it was all very good! They always say that food is one of the most memorable parts of a wedding and that is certainly true! DJ: As a type A person who takes music playlists VERY seriously I created separate Spotify playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing to give to the DJ. We had no issues with him following the playlists and during the dancing he mixed the music so each song flowed into the next smoothly. We had so much fun dancing, I never stepped off the dance floor all night!

Our Kukua dream wedding 4.11.25. -Kukua Venue/Staff (Kukua Punta Cana): I swear nothing will top the beauty of this resort. Every detail is absolutely perfect. Did you know that they freshly paint the aisle every wedding?! The venue is the perfect size to host a small or a very large wedding. My guest count (50 people) fit comfortably for dinner, on the dance floor, and everyone (I mean everyone) said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever attended. The staff at Kukua are welcoming, accommodating, and truly professional. The bartenders were quick, and the drinks were seriously outstanding. I couldn’t have had as amazing of an experience without all their hard work and dedication to the craft. -Mayte: This woman deserves the world. She is so unbelievably detailed, professional, and welcoming. I was amazed at how far she would go to make our wedding day so perfect. For example, I remember seeing from the corner of my eye Mayte running across the aisle before my husband turned around so she could fluff my dress. She moved so fast I swear she almost tucked and rolled to get in and out swiftly. She is beyond words, and WE are lucky to work with her on the wedding day. -Rachel (Uniquely Rachel): Rachel will always share a special place in my heart. She stepped in when I had already lost hope and revived my dreams. She made us laugh, she made us cry, and she pays such close attention to every detail you can imagine. WE are lucky to have her help us make our dreams a reality. Rachel makes it her mission that your wedding is the best day of your life, and her work shows! -Décor: The décor speaks for itself. AMAZING. I had an idea in my mind, and when I would go downstairs from the bridal suite to peek, I would walk back upstairs with tears. The décor was breathtaking. I also feel like I got more than my mind imagined and what my budget could afford. -Food: Let me tell you guys, this is the best meal I have ever had, and I am a foodie! We chose the chicken Caesar salad, mushroom chicken pasta, and filet and lobster dinner. The guests were obsessed! Every piece of food from Kukua deserves to be in a magazine; it was that good! -Junior Cruz Photography and Videography (Junior Cruz Weddings): This team went above and beyond for my requests. I finally just watched my full 1.5-hour wedding video, and I cried all over again like it was the wedding day.I will recommend them a million times over and over until I’m blue in the face. -Olga Montilla (Olga Montilla Beauty Studio & School): My MUA and hairstylist! She made me feel like a Barbie on my wedding day, and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever looked more beautiful. I shared pictures, and she executed. -Violinist: I was a little skeptical of adding a violinist. To my surprise, she was incredible. -Hora Loca Team: They are worth it. My dance floor was empty after our first dance. They came out and for the rest of the night, the dance floor was full. Everyone danced. -We stayed at Dreams Onyx and honestly it was a great resort for our entire party. The food was great, our butler was attentive, and our guests had the time of their lives. -We came in under our budget. I know weddings can be a huge expense and we managed to have this wedding without breaking our bank. -The palapa was breezy and the men loved getting ready there! It’s also such a great distance from where I was that there wasn’t a chance that the groom would see me beforehand. Ultimately, you’ve made the best decision choosing Kukua and I am confident your wedding will also be as special as you can imagine.

Wedding date 10.24.25 (Hurricane Melissa). Ok... I know what you're thinking. Am I really about to book a place in a foreign country that I've never seen before. YES, YES YOU ARE. Please just do me a favor and trust all of the reviews like I did. You can also go on to wedding wire, where there are way more. This place is so much more dreamy than even pictures can do it justice online. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Rachel, the wedding planner/coordinator is just the most amazing human. She is there for you the entire year before your wedding - planning, questions, and literally anything you can think of that you may need. She will talk you off a ledge or out of doing something silly or outlandish. Her services are included in your wedding process FYI, so you're not shelling out an absurd amount of money (which is unheard of btw). When you finally come on-site you'll meet Mayte, who is responsible for making the magic come to life the day of, and who you'll meet for your tasting. David is also amazing - he runs your wedding so it's smooth as butter the day of. The owner is also so lovely and... it's a family business which I love. Trust them all - they've been doing this a long time together. The level of professionalism and responsiveness was above and beyond what I expected. They made what should have been a very stressful year (and day) into an extremely manageable and relatively relaxing experience. All this to say... I had a tropical storm hit on my wedding day. They still did an incredible job in shuffling things around and making it work, while ensuring me that everything was taken care of. The food was amazing. Our tasting felt so special a few days before. Not to mention, the decorations and elaborate nature of our wedding would've easily cost us 100-200k in NY. The best decision we ever made was choosing to have our wedding here. I would host a 10 year vow renewal here again in hopes for some sunny weather!

Writing this review gives me a REALITY CHECK because I just want to relive this whole planning era! From the moment we found Kukua Punta Cana, we knew it was the one. Our wedding was a dream come true and our guests STILL can’t stop talking about it. Planner – Uniquely Rachel: 1000/10 Rachel is my forever homegirl! She kept us grounded, embraced my true vision, and made planning a destination wedding feel easy. Her organization and creativity are unmatched. Venue – Kukua: 1500/10 Absolute perfection. Beautiful weather, stunning décor, and every detail executed flawlessly by Mayte and her team. Our colorful setup, unique napkins, florals, candles—everything was beyond what we imagined. The staff took amazing care of all our guests all night long. Photo & Video – Photo Cine Art: 13,000/10 Milan and his team told our story beautifully! He captured every angle without us even noticing. Nata handled everything with great communication. The final photos and videos were everything we dreamed of. Content Creators – Maid of Content: 10/10 Captured every candid moment perfectly and delivered everything within 24 hours. She even updated my IG live and organized all our stories! Hair & Makeup – Brides by Montilla: 10/10 Olga is incredible. She adapted to my last-minute changes and my makeup survived our big pool jump! She also squeezed in 3 extra girls and helped book a barber my husband loved. Travel Agent – Our Destination Weddings: 10/10 Carol and Carolisa were amazing, responsive, organized, and so helpful when we had a check-in issue. Coordinating nearly 50 guests was a breeze thanks to them. Stay – Paradisus Palma Real: 8/10 Beautiful resort, great concierge, and perfect size for our group. A few check-in hiccups, but once fixed, we loved our stay and the spa experience after the wedding. Crazy Hour: 1000x/10 One of the BEST parts of the night! So fun, energetic, and a perfect celebration of our cultura. DJ: 8/10 Great vibe and kept the dance floor packed with Spanish hits. Appreciated that he checked in before playing certain songs. MC & Officiant – Alejandro: 10/10 Amazing! He officiated and MC’d in both English and Spanish, kept everyone engaged, and made us feel at ease. Our wedding at Kukua Punta Cana was everything we dreamed of and more. Every vendor went above and beyond. If you’re considering a destination wedding,TRUST this team. You’ll be in the best hands.

This beach club was recommended by my family members here in Italy. As an Australian tourist I do not recommend this club arrived at 9 am with kiosk not offering a coffee saying they were delayed and looked like they did not want to be there in fact they were discussing amongst themselves how they hated their job. I arsked when the brioche would be ready i was told 10 min on 5 occasions after one hour waiting at the seating area both women said they thought I was waiting for the cornetto which I did not say that they accused me of not asking for brioche and I speak both English and Italian fluently they were defensive and so rude! The beach couch was not clean and one of the pools looked like it had not been cleaned for a week! For 35 EU entry fee poor service and behaviour! Stay away!!!!

My wedding hasn't taken place just yet, but I already feel compelled to write a review for the wonderful work the Kukua team has done so far - which is not a surprise given all of the positive reviews. Planning a wedding is stressful. Planning a destination wedding is even more stressful! The team is very responsive and made the process extremely easy. I felt that our wedding planner, Rachel, really took her time to understand what is important to us and offered a personalized plan. The venue itself is also gorgeous (we visited earlier this year), right by the crystal blue shores of Arena Gorda beach and gives it that authentic tropical feel. If you're looking to get married in Punta Cana, in my opinion this venue is an excellent option!

I cannot say enough about Kukua Restaurant as a wedding venue. I feel so lucky to have been able to find this venue and have my wedding there. Everything from the minute I reached out asking about availability to the execution of our dream wedding exceeded our expectations. The communication leading up to the event was amazing! Rachel does an amazing job making sure you feel comfortable planning an event so far away! I cannot say enough about the staff on sight as well. Catalina was just a gem. Her passion for bringing brides' dreams to life is palpable. Everyone worked so hard to make our day absolutely flawless. It truly was a dream! We had a small wedding with just 8 guests, But we were never made to feel less than because of our small party size! The flowers were brilliantly gorgeous, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was better than any photo can describe! We are already looking forward to our next visit for lunch when we are back in the country again!

Pranama is a highly recommended Indian restaurant located in Punta Cana, offering a unique fusion of Indian and Caribbean flavors. The chef's involvement in menu creation, decor design, and staff training is evident in the dining experience. Situated inside Plaza Coral Village, this family-owned establishment specializes in authentic Indian cuisine with a Caribbean twist. It's an ideal spot for vegans seeking delicious homemade Indian food, as they offer a variety of vegan-friendly dishes.
This spot was a pleasant surprise. Food was REALLY good, perfectly spiced (note that the hot sauce is no joke), with fair portion sizes and friendly staff. Option to seat both inside and in a terrace. Music was fantastic, with lots of sitar to set the mood and match the colorful decor. This is a place I not only recommend, but I can definitely go back to!

Well as you will see from several of my posts I enjoy my curries, this is NOT an Indian ! one key ingredient in an Indian restaurant is the staff, at least the chef as a minimum should be Indian, the employees here were really nice, the food was awful the chicken was tough and not in my experience marinated they had few of the beers they had on the menu, the poppadom was not a poppadom, was a really bad experience at the end as I had eaten almost nothing I asked for discount and told that the boss is not here. I paid 2000 for no food and 2 beers I didn’t want. I am writing this from another restaurant close by as I’m still hungry and I just paid 1000 for good food and a beer I wanted. So iff you like your curries stay well clear, I can’t understand why they have so many positive feedbacks, I will not be back.

Oh my God!! I had a GREAT GREAT EXPERIENCE, the Indian Cuisine is one of my favorite for the flavors. What makes it better is that the owner is from India, so he really knows what he is doing, he was very polite and more because when I went there, the waiting time was very long, they were crowded, he apologize with us. I will come back!!!! --------------------- Recomiendo este lugar, es comida auténtica de la India, el dueño es de este país. La comida, las bebidas y los postres fueron espectaculares.

I would start with the warm feeling and happiness that we felt visiting here rather than taste. First we were astonished to have found Indian restaurant in punta Cana and during my weeks of vacation here I was craving for my Indian food.Pranama has not only fabulous taste but had a wonderful owner who gave us warm welcome and great hospitality. He made us feel like home. I am a happy customer and would recommend this place. Neat and clean outdoor dining and fast service.

Delicious Food, Perfect Location, Tasty Cocktails.Easy Parking and next to other restaurants and bars. Our flight got cancelled from Santo Domingo and we end up in Punta Cana for two days for our next flight. I wasn’t expecting to find Indian restaurant there but luckily we found this Gem. We ordered Dal Makhni , Goat Curry, Onion Pakora and everything was to the point. GulabJamun wasn’t good. The staff was polite and intelligent. I was surprised when he brought masala onions and green chili with the Dal I ordered.

TOC Beach Bar & Restaurant is a great place to enjoy the sunset and the views of the Caribbean Sea. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with relaxing music and live musical groups that add to the experience. The menu includes tantalizing watermelon mojito and fish ceviche, both recommended items. Prices are fair as well, making this an ideal spot for a casual night out with friends or family.
I had food there more than once and everything was so delicious. The choice for breakfast is a bit limited but they taste great. The juices are good. The latin music is also nice. The staff doesn’t speak much english but they’re very friendly and helpful. The place is directly in front of the beach, just a step away from the sand. I definitely recommend it.

If I had more money I would have eaten drank here all day.... Fantastic spot... the shade is fantastic under the palm trees for mid day. The cocktails taste as good as they look. Dream holiday experience, and this was one of the Cherries.

We have eaten at TOC almost daily on this trip. It’s consistently good, and you can’t beat the view! Julian, Marco, and Alvaro have also been very attentive and great service. Highly recommend, TOC has some of the best food in the area. Everything is handmade in house (even the dumplings!) so the kitchen can get backed up and the food can take some time- but this never bothers us. It’s part of the island life, just sit back and enjoy the view while you wait! Or ask to have the food brought to your beach chair :)

Toc was a great experience, I went in an uber and just got to the first beach I saw and from there used the google maps to located exactly, because is in a hotel complex, but you can enter the restaurant from the beach. ( That was in my case ) but was beautifull, they have great cocktails and amaaaazing food there, I had the bachata nachos and a taco with srimps, wow what amazing! The only thing there was that they could last some time with the cocktail but the food came really fast. You are going to be in a beautiful and gorgeous beach, having a cocktail and the best food I had ever tried in bavaro, even better than a resorts food.

Chic Cabaret & Restaurant Punta Cana is a place where you can enjoy great music and amazing performances by talented singers and dancers. The food is also a big hit, with dishes such as prefixed meals that give you the opportunity to try different things while dining. This prime restaurant in Punta Cana is perfect for any occasion.
Amazing show! The singers have amazing voices and dancers where fantastic. Had so much fun i didnt want it to end!❤️

The show was long but overall a good amount of fun. The food was not dinner-sized, so you should eat dinner beforehand. It's VERY LONG, at least four hours. Some parts felt like they were being stretched on for longer than necessary. The performers, singers, and dancers were all stellar and entertaining, but it all started to blur together over time. All of the waiter and waitresses were all attentive to bringing over anything that we needed at the table. The entertainers got pretty close to our table, too!
Shea B — Google review
The show was fun, many talented performers and they moved through it very well. The problem here, like everywhere at this resort, is the food. Extremely limited menu consisting only of meat and seafood, no requests and no accommodations for food allergies. Dessert was some sort of jelly thing with fruit in the middle. I'm told the food was about the same quality you'd expect at Applebee's but I wouldn't how since I paid the full $60 and was unable to eat anything.

Captivating. Beautiful. Entertaining. SO MUCH FUN!!! They're VERY talented!!! LOVED it here! Love the singing & dancing & variety for 2 hours. LOVED IT ALL. Make sure to get here 1 hour before the doors open to get a bar table outside seating. The outside show was as impressive as the actual dinner show. Food was ok. Shots during intermission were cute. Had my wedding reception here & it was WORTH EVERY CENT!!!

What an amazing group of talented individuals. Such an unexpected surprisingly good time. They made the hours fly by with high energy and a very entertaining show. They performed with smiles and genuinely looked like they were enjoying themselves right along with us. This resort is very nice and quiet, the food tasted fresh all the time, the staff is very attentive and helpful all the time, the only downside is that there was a lot of seaweed at this time of the year and the beach didn't look appealing to go in, the pools made up for it

Very beautiful place. Ive been to Sactuary town twice for dinner and it was a very pleasant experience. There is an interesting variety of foods (Spanish, Sushi, burgers, pizza and desserts) as well as a brewery. Antonio was our server when we sat down at the Burger place, but you can also order from the other places while sitting there. I had pizza from the italian place and it was great. Also had icecream at the dessert shop, it was good and well priced.

Some of the restaurants were closed. The advertise Taco Truck but it's not there anymore. Same for the Fusion night club. Beers of the World only has about 6 or 7 imported beers. The only beer on tap was Presidente. The pizza place and Hamburger joint were good, the service was pretty good. The guys definitely take care of you. But it seems like they live on island time. In other words, they don't always get your drinks or food orders right. Even when several of us spoke perfect Spanish. Overall, I do recommend Sanctuary Town. You certainly have several favorite foods to choose from.

We loved the Sanctuary Cap Cana! The resort was GORGEOUS. The food was great. The drinks were wonderful. The staff was a lot of fun, super friendly and extremely accommodating. Some of our favorites with the staff who wen't above and beyond with service were: Our Butler Jorge (George), Baby G, Looky Looky, Kristina, Manuel and Wonder! Our room was breathtaking with a gorgeous ocean view. We stayed in The Castle which was breathtaking. It is a little walk to the main part of the resort but we liked that it was more off the grid and they had golf carts available to take us if we wanted them. It had it's own bar and a gorgeous pool that overlooked the ocean. It also had a Gym, spa and the wok was located there. Out of any resort we've been to this is the one we enjoyed the most. We wen't in October and it wasn't busy at all. There was no problem getting reservations at the restaurants and cabana's or lounge chairs by the pool (s) (they had about 4 pools to choose from which was INCREDIBLE - at the other resorts we've been to there's only one and it get's super crowded and kinda gross). Sometime's it felt like we had the resort to ourselves. Also, we really only had one day where it rained and it was on and off showers! We still got to lay by the pool. The rest of the days were sunny and a little cloudy which was perfect for that type of heat and humidity. The beach front was pretty - the water was a little cloudy and the sand would get sea weed but they were on top of clearing that off. Plus, with the 4 pools we really spent most of our time at those. All of the restaurants we tried had incredible ambiance and the food was great. We really enjoyed "Fusion" in sanctuary town. It's a must try for anyone who goes. It was a really fun experience where they have music and the menu/drinks are all a surprise and made right in front of you. The steakhouse was incredible. The WOK was a blast (but go hungry because if not it's a lot of food). The Blue Marlin has gorgeous views (right on the ocean) and more authentic Dominican food. Capriccio (Italian) was a gorgeous atmosphere (the food there though wasn't my favorite). Casabella was great for breakfast and lunch. They did a Dominican night at Casabella and that was our favorite... we loved trying the islands food. Instead of going on an excursion this time we decided to try the spa. The Spa was absolutely beautiful. We did the Sanctuary Lover's package which was a massage for two with champagne, strawberries and a hot tub afterward. We would highly recommend that for future honeymooner's/anniversary trips. They also had a whole water entrapment that you do before your massage it was amazing. And made the spa experience even better.

We loved this part of the resort on our trip! It should be noted that you need CASH for the stores or a credit card. They DO NOT bill your room. The pizza is AMAZING! Coming from NY we were skeptical about trying the pizza but after so many other guests raved we decided to try it. Do not miss it! The taco truck was ehh. My husband and I both felt the quesadillas were the best. We are both normally steak eaters and felt the chicken far surpassed the steak option. The cigar shop had a great selection. We were both very impressed. PACK MATCHES. They do not supply them. We had to hunt down someone with a lighter.

For $1k USD/night on a 5 day birthday trip, we expected a Monarch private beachfront villa facing the resort side (not the public beach side that is never cleaned and REEKS of rotting sargasso grass). What we received was room 1004 -- with so much floral perfume sprayed in the AC vent that we couldn't breathe and had instant headaches. (The AC vent also dripped a giant puddle on the floor as well -- right in the middle of the walkway from the bedroom to the bathroom...so, not ideal and very dangerous). On the advice of the staff, we opened up the Villa to air out and went to an inedible dinner at the seafood restaurant (where we had to push to get one of the many empty tables on the water, rather than sitting in the walkway at the hostess stand where she tried to seat us twice, nowhere near the ocean.) We did get a lovely table on the 3rd try, and that table has been the best thing about the resort so far (yes -- that one table with a lovely breeze for about an hour is the highlight of this resort). The grilled vegetable appetizer was rock hard/raw and yet also burned. The calamari tasted like salt brine and was very funky/fishy smelling, and the grilled snapper had a giant bloodline down the middle that made it inedible...so we haven't really eaten dinner (or anything for that matter) since we arrived yesterday. Letting the room air out did NOTHING (since the smell was sprayed directly into the AC, it came back with a vengence the moment we closed the doors again.) The hotel's solution was to downgrade our $1k USD/night villa to a basic $500/night quren room (#6216) with a screaming air conditioner, a TV that can't be turned off or used (no remotes), set up for only one ne guest, and ZERO view or beach access. When asked, we were told that maybe they could move us again the next morning...so much for waking up on my birthday and walking straight out to the ocean (as we had planned for 4 months when we prepaid the booking) -- video is of AC that maintenance just switched off since they couldn't fix it...so now we're left with a downgraded queen size room, a screaming AC that can't be used overnight, a stuffy/hot room, a TV that can't be used at all, only one set of guest amenities (robe, slippers, etc.) In the room, and we haven't slept or eaten since arriving yesterday. Unfortunately, I have to cancel my spa appts this morning-- its hard to enjoy a birthday massage and spa day with a pounding headache from lack of sleep and knowing I have to pack, move rooms, and unpack for a THIRD TIME in less than 16hrs. The property is lovely, but its been a rough experience so far. Will update this review as the trip progresses.

American restaurant
Store
Hard Rock Cafe is a rock 'n' roll-themed chain known for its high-energy vibe and serving American classics like burgers. The new state-of-the-art facility in Punta Cana features an updated look with the latest technology, paying homage to America's musical history from the 70s to today. With seating for up to 262 guests, private event space, free parking, outdoor terrace seating, and a live music stage, it offers a unique backdrop for performances.
This was my first time to a Hard Rock Cafe. I was in need of some "American food". Our resort food was not great. This place did not disappoint. Food was excellent and very much needed for our entire party. Was not busy at all even though it was dinner time on a Saturday. It was very clean and well maintained. Nothing "Hard Rock" going on at the time we were there though ??? If resort food or authentic Domincan food isn't your thing, this is an excellent option. Other food options and shops close by.

Amazing food as usual for a hard rock cafe along with exceptional staff. It looks like a lot of construction going on around the cafe, perhaps it had been downsized a lot? Bit of a shame. We will probably try the casino/hotel next time.

I've been there 3 times now and all three times we've ordered the same things my partner and I. He likes the twisted mac and cheese and I always go for the Jumbo Combo. We ordered the same things at the Hard Rock restaurant in Santo Domingo and we didn't quite like them. Punta Cana always delivers. We went for dinner recently, they had that conference inside, us patrons were only on the terrace and it was not pleasant at all. People were smoking left and right and I cannot stand smoking. I wish they had a different non-smoking area. Since they were very busy, our food took a lot longer than it should have but they were very apologetic and nice. We still enjoyed the food and it was great as expected. We tried their peach cobbler for dessert and it was exquisite.

Ordered the Ribeye and mashed potatoes, medium doneness. I have had better steak at IHOP. Mash potatoes were lumpy. Asked for butter to help with the potatoes, the butter looked like it was scraped off of a larger block. Sad presentation. Also, instead of a steak knife, I was given a butter knife. Meal of sadness for top price. Paid over 50 USD for that and one drink. Table settings were bare. Wouldn't recommend at all.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, expecting luxury and security, but instead I left angry, disappointed, and missing an expensive personal item — my Apple Watch was stolen directly from my room What’s worse than the theft itself was the hotel’s complete failure to act. I reported the incident immediately, and I was met with excuses, silence, and a total lack of urgency. No investigation. No apology. No follow-up. It was like they didn’t care at all. For a resort that promotes itself as five-star, this was a joke. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. Zero safety for guests and their belongings. I no longer felt safe in my own room. This is unacceptable at any hotel, especially one charging premium prices. DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your personal items or expect even the bare minimum level of customer care. I will never return, and I strongly warn others to think twice before booking. Hard Rock Punta Cana should be ashamed.

Nestled in the charming Marina North area of Capcana, Dolce Italia Palma Real is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This cozy restaurant is perfect for any occasion, whether you're planning a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The menu boasts an impressive array of delectable desserts and freshly baked bread, alongside mouthwatering options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Small restaurant on the Marina North area of Capcana. Definitely a place to go if you want great freshly made pizza. My favorite items are the pizza, the red sangria, and the shrimp Cesar salad. My husband ordered a crispy chicken sandwich last week and it was horrible. It is made of a formed meat patty which is usually just a frozen item. They should strike that one out of their menu, honestly. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. A bit annoying when they are short staffed but you just have to be patient and be kind for they are doing the best they can. They have gelato available but I am not a fan of it anyway. Desserts are not to my liking but that depends on your taste. Overall, a great place to eat lunch and dinner.

2nd time eating here in 2 years, excellent service and food. My wife and I agree that the spaghetti with meatballs and burata was the best we have ever had. The tomato based sauce was amazing. We also had the risotto, which was very good. The wait staff are very pleasant. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Cap Cana. Keep up the great work.

We arrived and the staff was welcoming. They set up a table for seven and we place the order.. The service was good and Pizza Was excellent. The guy making the picture was next to us. He was really funny and he knows how to do this space because he was fast moving pizza for everybody in the restaurant. I recommend this place.

The pizzas, pasta and gelato were delicious. The restaurant is absolutely adorable and the atmosphere is beautiful. Their prices are great as well. The service unfortunately is another story. Not one smile from anyone, very dry, uninterested, inattentive and cold service. They weren’t busy at all but we’d have to constantly wait and wait to get her attention for water. Others just ignored us although they knew we needed something. This was sad and surprising because I know that Dominicans are very warm people.

This is always a good place to go to when in Cap Cana. The prices are reasonable in comparison to other places in the area, the food is consistently good, and it has plenty of options if you are visiting with a group. Outdoor seating offers a nice experience and plenty of room to run around for children. To top it off, they have great ice cream which is always a favorite.

Wacamole taco bar, located in the Corales area of Punta Cana, offers a relaxed and Caribbean atmosphere that attracts expats, residents, tourists, and resort workers. The outdoor bar serves creative cocktails and international dishes to cater to everyone's tastes. It is also known for its vegan-friendly Mexican cuisine with an extensive menu of drinks and dishes like tacos, burritos, and rice bowls. The vibrant ambiance with live music and colorful decor adds to the playful experience.
Every portion came with a bit of guacamole on the side which was amazing, all the dishes we took were tasty, nothing exceptional but overall pretty good. There was a live performance on the next bar and we could perfectly enjoy it as well. Suggested for a quick dinner!

Half of the folks can enjoy Kat's Corner live Music from here. lol... It's a cool spot in Plaza Turquesa... go after 8/9 PM to feel the vibe. Early dining is no fun here... some language issue (though 80% are English-speaking tourists)- can’t understand their menu, not the waitress was able to explain It is located in the main plaza in Bavaro so you are at the right spot. We ordered- * Fish Tacos (tacos de Pescado): 2 batter fried fish pieces in each taco with a little veggie- that’s it. 3/5 * Fajitas (Fajita de pollo)- it is one of the best fajitas I have ever had, sizzling veggies with chicken pieces, it’s just they have only given 4 tortillas and not much salad. nevertheless, it was 5/5 The price was good, they only charged 18% ITBIS tax which is a value-added tax (VAT/sale), and did not charge an extra 10%, so I tipped here. Cool Decor, good service, live music, party-type vibe, and good food. yup, go for it.

Fresh and tasty guacamole, same as tacos and other Mexican dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, the place is set to charge as much as possible. 28% tax is simply ridiculous, plus if you don't leave a sufficient tip on top of the bill the waiter gets upset, unbelievable...

We were a party of 8 which I understand is slightly larger. It took an hour to receive the tacos and I wouldn't have cared if the party of 6 and another party of 4 that came in 20 minutes after us hadn't ordered, received and ate their food and left before our food came! During that hour we waited the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. Now onto the food: lackluster at best. 6 people ordered tacos and 3 of them got standard tacos while 3 got taquitos. All dishes were a flour tortilla with some very dry meat in it. 2 had lettuce on them. I would just skip eating here. My chilaquiles had soggy nachos in them. The waitress told me the salsa verde is spicy and there was not only no spice but no flavor in it. Also ordered 2 guacamole appetizers and the chips were stale. The meat in all the dishes was dry and flavorless. Honestly go anywhere else nearby. Mexican food isn't that hard and this did not qualify as Mexican except for the fact that they used tortillas.

Portion sizes are small The food is excellent. Prices are high for the portion size and location of restaurant. The service is okay. The drinks are excellent but small I was going to give the restaurant a four-star but when we got our bill we paid 2000 pesos for a 1574 peso bill.. the waitress only gave us 200 pesos change.

This bar restaurant is as tropical Dominican as it can be. Service and prices are the same as any other places in the same category and level. But, the great surprise of the night was to find the artist that makes the caricatures at the place. This artist is both talented and dinamic. He also has published lots of caricature books or booklets. His most recent work is a publication in Amazon books called Kancerbero. After he informed about this I bought the book, and indeed what a great work. Congratulation to Wacamole to support this artist. He also mentioned good things about the management of the restaurant. If you visit Wacamole, please enjoy the music, the Margaritas and ask Sammy to make a caricature of you and your party.

Food was okay. Tacos looked a bit strange. There was nothing else except taco shells and pieces of fried fish. Beef burrito was good, keep in mind burrito has A LOT of onions. Music was VERY LOUD. Not the best place to go with the small kids. Also keep in mind - the place doesn’t have a printed menu. Only QR code. So you need to have a data or wifi. The Spanish menu wasn’t loading at all, and English didn’t have all the possible options. English menu didn’t have burrito. In the end of the meal we just were waiting for the bill, but no one came. So my husband had to go to cashier to finely pay there.

Pastrata is amazing! Truly the best margarita I’ve ever had in my life, so refreshing! The owner Pastrata and his dog are so friendly. I have a gluten allergy and Pastrata was so accommodating and have multiple gluten free options (almost the whole menu!) which is rare to see even in the US. Would recommend to my friends and family!! Thank you all for the amazing experience and tasty gluten free meal. Will be coming back :)

Our experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. While the first couple of dishes were decent, the service left much to be desired — the waitstaff clearly needs more training. I ordered a "Lemon Pie" for dessert, but what I received was a rock-solid, chocolate-drizzled lemon ice cream instead. When I pointed it out to two waitresses, they laughed, took the plate away without an apology, and didn’t offer to remove it from the bill. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant😔.

We had dinner here on a Friday night and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. People were friendly and welcoming and there was good parking. I liked the outdoor seating too. We had limonadas which were really wonderful! I could drink those all day. The chips and guacamole were good. Some of us had the ceviche and liked that. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were okay but not great--a little greasy and not sizzling like fajitas are typically. They were kind of limp. Others had the mozzarella cheese slab rolled around meat (the arrechera) and I think it would have been good if it hadn't been overcooked. A great idea but the execution was a little off. Others had the camaron tacos and the nachos and thought they were pretty good. I know this is a popular place so maybe it was an off day. The drinks and chips were really good! With water and drinks and entrees we spent under $50 including tax and tip so it's reasonably priced.

Finally some normal place in the sea of scam places in the area. The only ones where you pay what is written on the menu. With the others, all the prices you see are without vat, tax, tip, so you have to pay another 40% on the price you see. It's no wonder that here you have to wait in line to get a seat while all the surrounding restaurants are empty. The food is excellent, the portions are large and the prices are lower than in any of the surrounding restaurants. They also accept cards.

This breakfast spot quickly became a favorite of mine during my stay, mainly because of their refreshing papaya juice (a must try) that I couldn't get enough of! The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, always greeting you with warmth and kindness. Great service, atmosphere and clean. Located at one of the best up and coming areas of Bavaro. A little on the pricier side, but reasonable. The pork, wings, and coleslaw were on point. The ribs were good, but already having ribs in some of the best BBQ places in the US, the ribs needed a bit more flavor. The drinks were served in various forms, but their Moscow mule was not a big hit. Overall, I would go back and try more from their menu because the food was of good quality and the service was top notch. It was a good dining experience.

We had to return to La Bruja Chupadora for our last meal in Punta Cana because the first time we ate there, we received outstanding service by Ada who was attentive and super friendly. She made our dinner extraordinarily better than we had experienced in other restaurants in the area. So we had to go back. Their food is really good, fine food with flavor for sure. The vibe is chill but classy. Their management was attentive. This is the kind of place I would visit over and over if I lived here.

We had an excellent dining experience! Everything we tried was delicious — the crispy chicken bao was amazing, the tuna tartare full of flavor, and the nachos were really tasty as well. The crispy chicken burger was outstanding, and the octopus was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was absolutely top-notch — friendly, attentive, and professional. Highly recommended!

We visited La Bruja Chupadora in Punta Cana twice, and our experiences were quite different. The first time was great, we ordered the mofonguito and burger, both were delicious (although the fries were a bit oily for my taste). We finished with an espresso that was surprisingly good. We sat inside, and our server Ramón was fantastic truly the best! He was smiling, very attentive. There was also a young lady who was very attentive and always smiling, which made the experience even better. Our second visit, however, was not that good. We sat outside, and our server was overly pushy, even making faces when I declined to order food right away since we wanted to start with drinks. The cocktails were good, but the ice had a taste, both of us ended up with a stomachache afterward. Then we ordered mofonguito was delicious. I skipped a second mojito because my stomach was upset. When I hesitated to order the cocktail, the server rolled her eyes, so we decided to leave. Overall, the food is very good, especially the mofonguito, and the indoor service was excellent. Servers seem to collaborate and pay attention to what is happening. It was just this person that was a bit pushy and her faces...ohh boy! But we did not let her ruin the review.

La Bruja Chupadora BBQ is a hidden gem in plain sight right in the heart of Punta Cana. From the moment we arrived, we were met by Jhonny one of the restaurant managers. He has a very welcoming greeting very professional but relaxed. I would suggest reservations on the weekends, we arrived on a weekday around 8pm and it was fairly busy. We had a fabulous waitress Nahirabi V. She was very polite and attentive. She really set the bar of a five star dining experience. Our entire time we needed for nothing. She was so good. We came back the next day! The menu is versatile. The ribs were fall off the bone. The pasta was flavored to perfection. The bacon cheeseburger would be worth the flight back to Punta Cana alone. I wish I was joking. Overall, if you come to Punta Cana, this is a must visit.

Had an amazing night with amazing food at La Bruja. Nairobi en Cristy made sure we had everything we needed and where very caring and friendly. The only small remark was the music getting louder and louder.

Always wanted to check it out and we finally got the chance. Went in for a quick dinner and wow the food was delicious. Service was great vibe was chill and very well located. My partner had the ribs and he loved them. I ordered the fish tacos and that sauce that they came with left me wanting more . Will be going back for sure.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Punta Cana, La Casita de Yeya is a delightful haven for those craving authentic Dominican cuisine. This charming restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by warm and attentive service. Open daily from 11 am until around 11 pm, it serves up a variety of traditional dishes that showcase the rich flavors of local ingredients.
🌟 A Culinary Experience to Remember! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and truly made us feel like VIPs. The ceviche was a perfect balance of citrus and spice, so fresh it practically danced on the tongue. And the lobster? Absolutely divine, tender, buttery, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a celebration of Caribbean coastal cuisine. If you’re looking for a place where the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality come together in perfect harmony, this is it. Highly recommended!

Very good local Costa Rican food and service. It is not easy to find local food around the Westin resort and decided to make the worthwhile trip over by the airport. Empanadas were excellent. I had the mufango with fried pork on top. Fried pork was excellent and the mufango was good but I am not a fan of heavy garlic dishes. The best part was the local alcohol of red wine + liquor steeped in wood chips/spices. You must try a shot of it if you enjoy drinks.

The food was delicious and our favorite meal while in the DR. The owner was helping to take orders and see how things were going, the rest of the staff was really nice and they were quick with getting the food out as it was 11am-12pm. I got the goat with rice and beans and my boyfriend got the steak and onions with rice and beans! He ordered another serving after he liked it so much and the empanadas were DELICIOUS! We got the beef and chicken ones. We asked for salsa/hot sauce on the side and it was a great addition! Goat was tender and flavorful and the rice was cooked just right and the pinto beans had nice flavor too! Highly recommend!

We went on back to back days for lunch. We recommend the Platano Mofongo con Camarones, Sancocho con arroz, y La Ceviche. Servers were excellent. The interior is decorated in bright colors.

The food was very delicious. The service was mid.i think they over charge me more for what the menu say. I ordered the whole fried fish which says 1059 RD ($17) on the menu, but later on the receipt the fish was 1900 RD ($31). They also didn’t mentioned that the bean on the side was an extra 150 RD which didn’t make sense since I thought the beans was included with fried fish dish. It really said so. I really they told me beforehand that price will vary. Also I didn’t like that there was an automatic tip because my bill came up to $80 for my one person. That’s with fried fish, a side, an app, and two beers. Make sure to clarify that before ordering wether you speak Spanish or English.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in Punta Cana and don’t stop by La Casita de Yeya, you’re truly missing out on one of the best Dominican culinary experiences. Chef Roberto is nothing short of spectacular—his dishes are full of flavor and heart. The creamy rice (arroz meloso) was outstanding, the goat stew was prepared to perfection, and the traditional Dominican sancocho was absolutely first-class. The service was just as remarkable. Mariel, our hostess, gave us such warm and attentive service that we felt right at home. In short: amazing food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. A must-visit spot in Punta Cana!

Me and my girlfriend came here twice! Very home grown feeling, and you sit outside with a nice view especially at night and each time the staff was really kool and spoke English too and the drinks were great 👍 and they made mine strong like I like it and you get great quality food for really cheap! I personally loved the Dominican nachos 😋

Loved the fried red snapper they had it was so delicious and flavorful. The fruit juices are amazing and the appetizers was great as well. The only thing is make sure you check it there and pork in any dishes that you like or want to try. This goes for any restaurant in Dominican Republic.

From Capri with Love dinners are featured every Thursday, showcasing Italian cuisine. Open for breakfast and dinner, Mediterraneo provides an alluring dining experience that seamlessly blends classic European luxury with Caribbean influences.
The food was great. The staff were amazing to do their best. My only issue was there was no A/C. The staff went and got a large fan to accommodate.

We enjoyed our experience dining at Mediterraneo. I highly recommend the cured salmon dish. I’ve only had better in Paris. Also the staff is excellent. Robinson did a phenomenal job and took great care of us. We planned to eat at Mediterreano once during our trip but the food and staff was so good we ate here twice!

The food is incredible! Their Chef is Italian who traveled a lot and acquired hai experience in many countries including his native Italy, France, Thailand, and Nordic countries, hence he brings those tastes to the dishes that intricately decorated and taste amazing! I would replace the tables in the restaurants though, to my taste. They bring the elevated experience down a notch.

The WORST gastronomic experience in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 We recently visited the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner, we had high expectations as we have had gastronomic experiences in Cap Cana in other restaurants. The service was friendly but very unprofessional, they didn’t have 2 of the wine options that we wanted to order, the sommelier recommended a wine because it was from a nearby region that the one they didn’t have, after trying to convince us that it was very similar to the one we wanted they brought the bottle which was not even tempered(white wine) after opening the bottle and tasting it I pointed that it had a very particular flavor of apple juice cider, the sommelier then asked if she could drink from our wine to taste it, we said ok a little bit confused… after tasting she said, honestly I didn’t try this wine before, it has just arrived last month and the owner doesn’t give us tasting, he is the one that chooses the wine. Then she came with a glass of apple juice so we can compare that it was just as drinking apple juice, we mentioned that the wine she suggested was not similar at all to what we wanted. No option was offered to change wine. The food was completely average and not worth it at all for its price, prices would not include taxes, the red snapper that I ordered was about 100 grams, it came with no side dish just the small fish fillet. We spent about $250 for 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, and a very bad bottle of wine. We were very disappointed at Eden Roc, we considered our experience a waste of time and money.

We didn't know what to expect, as this was our first night in The Dominican Republic. We were absolutely amazed! Great food, wonderful service. We had pad Thai, calamari, and a calzone. All of them wonderful! We topped it off with a magic mushroom. Highly recommended! Great mix of food choices. The service, though, that was most impressive. It got a bit windy and started sprinkling and the manager asked if we would like to be moved further up under the building. My wife needed to use the facilities and one of their staff literally walked her to and from, back to our table. Just fantastic service. Highly recommended!

Great experience, we ate there 3 times while our holiday and it was every time a perfect experience 👍🏻 the food is super delicious, best quality, the staff was super nice and professional, felt like being in a luxury restaurant and for that, the prices are fine even though all the places in the resorts are a little overpriced, for their restaurant its more than ok to have european prices as its really taking care of everything 👍🏻 We were in some other restaurants that were also good but by far not the experience you get with them 😊 definitely recommend anyone to go there!

This restaurant is on the pricier end of Cap Cana restaurants, but it is worth it. The service is very professional, the food is incredible, and whether you are seated outside or inside, the ambiance is lovely. I highly recommend their salmon with pesto risotto and the blood sausage (even if it doesn't sound appealing, it tastes amazing). Their sangria is also very good. If you are into desserts, try the chocolate mousse.

If you're lucky, you'll be served by the owner Hamesh, a larger-than-life enthusiastic and proud host who runs this conglomeration of businesses* very successfully, setting a high standard of service, esthetics, and good cuisine. Al fresco dining under string lights with a remarkably diverse Mediterranean menu, everything was pleasant. The shrimp teriyaki dumplings were light and flavorful. The lamb shank was so tender, had robust flavor, and a delicious gravy over mashed potatoes with a highlight of raisins. The house red wine was Malbec and was of a high standard, as was everything else about this evening. Bravo. *There's a tapas bar, wine shop, Mexican restaurant, cigar store, gelato stand, and a boutique fashion designer with 15 seamstresses.

This place was one of the best places I’ve ever eaten in the DR. I travel here 3-4 times a year and visit all areas. This one will make one of my top 5 and probably hold the number 1 spot for a long time. The owner is great at explaining all the places in the world the food is inspired from. He himself connects with his world experiences. Don’t miss this place. And the bartenders mojitos are top shelf.

The service and Attention to detail of the staff was excellent, The place is nicebut the food was not!!! The fish was not good, The octopus was horrible. It was hard If you don’t know how to cook an octopus, you should not sell it. I think that the staff should trust the ownership more to relate distance to The management, because when I suggested that they should be reported, I could tell this guy will not say nothing.

Hands down best place to eat. The flavor and quality is all that matters here. The food will take your taste buds on a crazy ride and you will not regret it. We ended up eating here multiple time within the same week, that is how good it is. A mix of fine dining and fusion food. Best believe you need to visit this restaurant. The moroccan meatballs., mini tacos and St. Louis ribs are perfect choices for apps. And then the seafood fettuccine, short ribs, and the burger make for a perfect pairing.

We eat at good restaurants often back home. Finding a great dinner in Punta Cana has been more challenging. Ate at Bohemian in Cap Cana. Our entrees were very good, and our tapas were excellent ! Ribs, shrimp tempura, steak tacos recommended. The only thing better was the service. I hope I remember correctly, but I think our waiter was Jaun. I got better service from Juan than I get in five star restaurants back home - and I live in a foodie town. What a great experience. And the price was so reasonable. Wow. If you're in Cap Cana and looking for a great experience, go here. I might eat there every night the rest of my trip. I recommend just getting tons of tapas, and then reordering your favorites.

This restaurant, Rincon del Marisco, is known for its affordable prices and high quality seafood. In addition to their delicious Dominican dishes, the empanadas are particularly outstanding and worth the trip alone. The fish soup is also incredibly tasty and the fried fish of the day is a must-try. The service provided is excellent and prices are reasonable.
Delicious local seafood restaurant, the ceviche and lobster soup is an absolute must. If nothing else at least those two. Highly recommend especially for the price being asked. Lemonade is quite tasty too. Thanks!

We visited Rincon del Marisco three days in a row during our trip to Punta Cana, and it was an absolute delight! This local gem truly stands out as one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Over the course of our visits, we tried two different types of fish and two types of soup, and each dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality of the seafood was exceptional, and you could tell that everything was prepared with care and expertise. We also had the chance to try their lobster, which is available upon special order. It was hands down one of the best lobsters we've ever had—succulent, perfectly cooked, and worth every penny. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had a charming, authentic local vibe. If you're a seafood enthusiast, Rincon del Marisco is a must-visit when in Punta Cana. If you are looking for some authentic Dominican seafood while you’re visiting Punta Cana, then this is the place to go!! Now I’m not the best with speaking español but the staff had English menus and took the time to explain some of the options on the menu. The chef FABULOSO!!! The flavours were soooo good 👍🏽 We had the fried fish was plantain, the crab in coconut sauce with mofongu (I didn’t do the pork but normally it comes with) and the creamy linguine with shrimp….all were really tasty and delicious. Will definitely visit again with I’m in town. See you all in December!!

It’s a cute little restaurant. The food is okay, nothing special. One thing that bothered us was that the price on the menu said 400 pesos for the fish and we asked the woman working there and she said “more or less, that’s correct”. We ended up being charged over 900 pesos for it which is definitely not more or less. Wished we asked about it but we didn’t. I only speak basic Spanish so maybe that’s why she charged us differently.

Honestly the best meal I had in Punta Cana. It’s out of the way from the main resort area but I strongly believe it’s worth a visit. The staff knows enough English to help you order. The food is 2/3 or half the price from the resort area but much better. The vibe is nice and homy. They garlic butter seafood and fried fish are delicious. Much better than most of the restaurants designed for tourist. Get an Uber and come check it out!

Nestled along the picturesque Marina beach, Maralia Cap Cana is an idyllic destination for a weekend escape. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun or engage in some fun games, this spot has it all. The culinary offerings are truly delightful; you can't go wrong with their mouthwatering cheeseburgers and fresh ceviche! The restaurant boasts a relaxed atmosphere that invites guests to unwind while enjoying breathtaking views.
We have been coming for the last three days. Our kids love the spot since it has a pool and a private beach next to it that gives you a sense of security because is guarded and block it then nothing dangerous can get in. The service is really good very nice people, the food is good, prices are equivalent to where we live in the USA an excellent place to your family relax there’s three areas to seat. If you’re staying in capcana you don’t have to pay, but if you come just to visit, I heard you have to pay at the gate, but you can use the money for consumption but not everywhere. We’ve been in the area four times in the last couple years and we love this place. It’s the best thing in Punta Cana and is called cap Cana. The manager is very good and comes by and ask how the service has been… also Katherine is very nice explains to us things about cap Cana and areas around.

The mixed reviews of this location are very understandable after our experiences. Pros: The food was good and as ordered. The drink menu is plentiful. Reservations were available. The brownie is delicious, the ribeye was very buttery tender, and the burrata with pistachio pesto was on point! Cons: Wait staff is just so so. I would have to assume some of this comes with the type of facility it is - caters to vacationing families. Kids are everywhere, some may be supervised...... Food came very slowly in the 5-6 p.m. time frame. But our second dining, food was much more timely. Prices were high compared to other restaurants in Cap Cana. If you want pizza, go to the pizzeria. If you want a lovely drink and some risotto, give this place a try. They also have a sushi bar which is nice for take out.

Maralia Restaurant in Cap Cana offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views and a fantastic menu. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely meal. I started with a refreshing creamy burrata salad, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I had the grilled octopus, which was expertly prepared and incredibly tender, served with creative accompaniments that enhanced its taste. Each bite was a treat! The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and breathtaking views of the marina makes Maralia a must-visit. If you're in Cap Cana, don't miss out on this gem!

Food: They asked how I wanted my burger , I said medium and it come well done. Paella extremely expensive and some if the rice was hard. Ceviche tasted like they just put red spaghetti sauce on seafood mix. Ceviche is not made with spaghetti sauce. Food was very overpriced for food that was not good. Service: the server took drinks before we finished them. Then we told the waiter they took our drinks and he just said he didn't take it and said he would speak to manager and never came back with a response. Horrible service. Horrible service. Atmosphere: nice place but with prices like these for food like this just makes coming here a bad experience. On top of that horrible service.

When you think of luxury, fancy coastline, cozy harbors, and seawater of the most fantastic shades, Maralia Cap Cana is on the top of the caribbean list. It is true to say that you cannot beat small Api beach house— even if you imagine beaches of the rear beauty with fascinating landscapes and everything that you need for the rest — 99% that Cap Cana will offer you something better. Is it hard to believe? but Api beach is real. Home to palm-lined beaches, tranquil coral reefs, and several top-tier exclusive and super-exclusive hotels, it’s no wonder why Cap Cana is one of the Dominican Republic’s most popular destinations. Cap Cana amenities combine convenience and Caribbean culture with an impressive range of activities across its expansive coastline. Api beach house is the quietest beach among all I’ve visited on DR. It is located on the farthest east area of Punta Cana. The beach is part of one of the many exclusive Cap Cana amenities; you will find a very cozy pool and not far away (~20 yards) there is a clean small beach with pristine water with fine-grained sand, and water is warm and extremely crystal clear. Other local beaches offer warmth of the sun, crystal clear water, soft sand underfoot, sound of the waves, water sports, and so on...but Api beach offers that and above, you can enjoy and capture in your memory a beautiful shot of heaven, with an exclusively unique ambience which make the beach different from other local destinations. Also, The Marina offers a lot of activities for those who like active rest — from water sports to crowded clubs. During the day, it is a quiet, cozy, and a peaceful place, but after dark, you get to the center of the fun, music, and endless parties, be aware that at night Maralia Cana might looks completely different and funniest for adults. Anyway, versatility is mean feature that makes Maralia Cap Cana one of the small best beaches in the world. This is a perfect exclusive destination and also a great place for secluded vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pepito City is a hidden gem in Bavaro Beach, offering a local feel and delicious Venezuelan cuisine. The friendly service, great prices, and amazing dishes like empanadas, cachapas, arepas, and burgers make it a must-visit. The portions are generous and the menu offers a variety of scrumptious options. Visitors praise the hospitality of the owners and recommend trying out their suggestions if you're unsure what to order.
Delicious Venezuelan food for a good price! Thumbs up for the patacon.

Service was amazing and the food superb. Order a Patacones, Puente Sobre Lago and couple of empanadas. You will not leave hungry

The food here is amazing! I ordered a patacone - it was delicious and the portion was huge. They speak good English and they are very helpful if you don't know what you want to order. Also it's quite cheap. I got full after only one plate. I would recommend it to everyone!

Venezuelan place: Scrumptious food. Great variety. Big servings (make sure there's room in your fridge unless your a big eater). Excellent prices. --Fruit drinks are over sugared, and house flies when its not busy.

This Italian restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The head chef is highly skilled in cooking delicious mahi varieties. Guests have also given the restaurant high marks for its arugula salad. However, service at the restaurant is inconsistent, with some staff members being more attentive than others.
Good atmosphere, no wait as we made a reservation. The service was quite fast and attentive. Happy with this place!!

We waited an hour to be seated. Food is horrible, although kids ordered pasta with basic sauce. We could not even eat the salad. Fish dish is not edible(see pic)
Ahmad A — Google review
First meal after we arrived. It was off hours bc it was 4pm. Service was slow but they might have been swapping staff. We had the pesto and prosciutto/mozzarella appetizer with prosecco and chocolate mousse. Service was friendly but slow. Food was decent. More like a 3.6 or 3.7.
L S — Google review
It promises Italian flavors, but the trip got stuck on the layover. The pizzas and pastas were so generic they could’ve come with a “Made Anywhere” passport. The appetizers, though, totally stole the show, and the cocktails kept the mood light. Before 7 p.m. it’s nice and relaxed, but later it fills up like they’re serving grandma’s secret recipe. The staff was so friendly you almost wish they were the ones in the kitchen. In short, a good spot for a bite and a drink — just not for writing a love song to Italy.

Good food. Best Arugula salad in all of the Hotel. Service is lacking as with the rest of the Hotel. Food was decent. Head chef and manager of the restaurant came to ask us what did we like and disliked.
Sofia R — Google review
Beautiful room. The service is very slow. Staff are overworked and rushed so can’t afford to be friendly I think. Orders arrived at different times, 20-30 mins apart. Some drinks arrived after food. Food was salty and not great. Pizza was ok, that’s about it.
Vinni S — Google review
BREAKFAST - is your basic breakfast buffet. Service is slow and the wait staff is not helpful. Nobody is friendly and drinks like coffee and juice take forever to be served. DINNER - there was over 1.5 hr wait each night. Again nobody was friendly or helpful. The carbonara and the calamari were good but the lasagna was horrible. The pasta was hard, a frozen microwave lasagna would’ve been better

Soprano Pizzeria is a delightful new spot that promises to deliver an enjoyable dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and stunning views of Marina Cap Cana from the terrace. This eatery specializes in crafting delicious thin-crust pizzas using only the freshest ingredients, prepared by skilled pizzaiolos. The vibe here is relaxed, making it perfect for a casual night out or a cozy meal with friends. While seating may be limited, takeout options are available for those on the go.
Amazing pizza. Thin and crispy. Very flavorful. Our attendant recommended the fried cheese as well. So glad we didn’t pass. Exceptional! And they deliver!
Brandi W — Google review
We were the only ones here on a Tuesday night, vibes were very chill. I’m not sure what happened to this place but it doesn’t look like the place in the photos. Soprano Pizza is part of another smaller cafe now but they are right next to each other. Next to the liquor store. The nachos were decent and the hot honey pepperoni pizza was tasty. Pizza is thin crust just like the other reviewers have posted. Prices were kind of cheap, we paid $44 usd for pizza, 2 beers, soda, nachos, and tip. Service was good and the woman working was attentive.
Jacob K — Google review
Pizzas took 50 min to come out and they are tasteless. Couldn't taste the crust, sauce or cheese.
Guille P — Google review
Conveniently located near Aqua Marina, the pizza was great and the drinks were cold. Not a ton of seating but they have takeout. This pizzeria is also merged with a coffee shop/sandwich joint. Plus there's burritos and tacos during the pizzeria hours.
Jennifer H — Google review
Food was great! Service was also excellent; portions were adequate sized. They do not accept American Express credit cards.
Jay E — Google review
Pizza delivery to a nearby condo. The base was exceptionally thin(not and issue) with barely any crust. Unfortunately they had managed to cremate this. Even more irritating was paying for extra topping and not receiving them and the wrong drink being sent. Very lacklustre and disappointing.
Miss 2 — Google review
We visited soprano pizzeria and the pizza was okay. Nothing special just mediocre. But better than the other places. I had a real problem with the worker there( Mariann?). She tried pursuing my husband and tried to give him her phone number. We had our children with us 😳 also we ordered out through WhatsApp and she then tried messaging him on there. Terrible way to do business and we’ll never be back. Completely unacceptable!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service from Raya at Paradisus Palma Real During my stay at Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort, I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Teofilo and Raya and Olga and Rosanna at the bar. She is truly a beautiful soul with an incredible spirit. From the moment we met her, she made us feel welcomed, cared for, and fully taken care of. Raya was always attentive, helpful, and in the best mood. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were hydrated, comfortable, and enjoying ourselves, even before we asked for anything. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made every interaction a pleasure. It is rare to meet someone who serves with both excellence and heart, and Raya is one of those special people. She made a huge difference in our experience, and we are truly grateful for her. If you visit this resort, make sure you stop by and meet Raya. She is one of the reasons we will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time at the Paradisus Palma Real. Rafael made sure we had a great spot on the beach each day and we never went without a drink. It was also fun talking motocross with him. The report had more pools and bars than I could count. The weather was excellent the entire stay. Alam was our host for the stay and went above and beyond. He also could not be nicer. He made sure we had dinner reservations each night, got us whatever we needed for the room and answered any and all questions with a smile. We had a great time!

My husband and I are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have vacationed in such a wonderful place.

Wonderful experience! Absolutely perfect experience! This hotel delivers the best cost-benefit stay with a trulv luxurious touch. Our concierge from Expedia, Aurora, was simply amazing - warm, professional, and genuinely caring. She made us feel completely at home. Our daughters (7 and 4 vears old) fell in love with the kids' area - a first for them! They couldn't wait to go back, which says a lot We also spent an unforgettable night at Fun Republic, part of the hotel's entertainment complex - pure fun for the whole family! Just a tip: don't foraet socks and tennis shoes for the kids' activities. Aurora was 10 out of 10 - truly the best in town! A huge thank you to the amazing team at the kids’ club — my daughters absolutely loved their time there! It was the first time they truly wanted to stay and enjoy all the creative activities and fun games these super professionals prepared. We’re so grateful for the care, joy, and energy you brought to their days. Thank you to all of you and to Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana for making our stay unforgettable! 🌴✨

Tortuga Bay Hotel at Puntacana Resort is a luxurious boutique option within the expansive Puntacana Resort & Club. Nestled in a private enclave within a 1,500-acre ecological reserve, this sophisticated seafront resort offers 13 beachfront villas designed by Oscar de la Renta. Guests can choose from 1- or 2-bedroom suites or 3- or 4-bedroom homes, all featuring kitchenettes and balconies with stunning views.
Stayed for a week in the middle of February - a wonderful hotel. Weather was fantastic. The VIP service at the airport is unique, and very smooth. The staff are all friendly and warm (a special mention to Johnny and Alcedo). Breakfast at the Bamboo restaurant is great. Dinner at Bamboo, the Grill and La Yoga are worth mentioning also. The Spa is nice and relaxing. Good options for getting around the resort, and beyond, with bicycles and the golf caddy. The beach villa is very spacious and clean, with amazing views. The beach service could be better (can be quite slow at times) and the entrance to the sea is quite rocky (enter with care) All in all, a nice relaxing break! Thank you

The experience at this beautiful resort was clouded by an overpriced excursion that we paid for but wasn't honoured, we booked the excursion with this lady Esperanza, who was recommended by the hotel and we paid extra because we wanted to go to Los Tres Ojos Cave she didn't gave us a received or anything after we paid but because it was done on recommendation of the hotel we assumed it would be ok. On the day of the excursion, when we approached the hotel reception about it, there was no one waiting for us, so the receptionist had to call her and she immediately asked is we had proof of payment which was odd after almost an hour of us waiting it looks like she magically remember our booking and two amazing guys show up to collect us but when we mentioned the cave again the problem started anyway to conclude this we didn't get what we paid for, for the excursion it was not good , to avoid this kind of situations asked for proof and in writing to what places the excursion is taking you otherwise they rob you and even though is recommended trough the hotel they actually washed their hands and don't do anything. Guys, do not trust anything without written confirmation and your proof of payment.

What a beautiful place! It all started with the meet and greet at the airport which made arrival super easy and fast. Then the entire puntacana hotel grounds were just amazing. Our “room”, more like a villa, was excellent. Above all else, the hotel staff was the best. Our stay was wonderful.

Great hotel. Service is top notch. Room cleaning is good. Rooms are spacious. We had a two-bedroom suite with a sea view. The beach is private. I didn't really like the entrance to the sea, there were a lot of stones. But the Caribbean Sea is always beautiful. The cuisine is very tasty. The hotel has only one restaurant on site. But they have another restaurant in Marina, 10 minutes away by golf cart. With a great view and cuisine. We really liked the hotel. I think we'll come back.

Tortuga Bay is great. Friendly staff, you own golf cart for travel and bikes are all included. We had a great time and the kids loved it. Bonus is you get access to the other resorts within Punta Cana resort so there's always somewhere to visit.

Hands down best place I have ever stayed. We stayed here for 10 days for our Honeymoon. From the 1st day to the last day we felt like top priority. Staff was beyond exceptional, kind and attentive. Everyone at the bar - but especially Angel at the bar is AMAZING! Every night we were excited to go sit at the bar so we could hang out with him! Very kind. Everyone that worked at the front office - there for you 24/7. Staff at Bamboo..... WOW. Pedro on service was one of our many favorites. He remembered after the first day that I liked the bedside chocolates so much that he would bring me extra while we were at the bar (without me even asking). And last but not least. Yosaira. She is a hostess at Bamboo and has become a friend. She is the best hostess I have come across ever. So sweet and loves what she does! We will be coming back again and again because of these people!

Tortuga Bay Hotel is great! My wife and I flew there from the UK for 10 days at the beginning of February 2024. The staff were absolutely wonderful- everyone was super friendly and spoke pretty good English. As a bonus, guests are allocated an ’Embajadores Team’ who will suggest activities and arrange anything you want. You really feel like a VIP! We went to the Carnival and hired a car for 3 days, driving round the island sight-seeing. We go to the Caribbean every year and we both felt that the exceptional beach villas and whole layout of the estate was one of the best we have ever visited. I loved the addition of a golf cart and bikes to go to restaurants & spa etc. Security is first class and we felt 100% safe at all times. I guess the only downside was the beach- it looks amazing, lots of it but just a little bit rough and sea weedy. But this is more than compensated by the beauty of it, the lack of people (while we were there) and the surprising amount of wildlife- pelicans, herons and all manner of seabirds. Puntacana has what looks like the most amazing golf courses but as neither of us play the game- we missed out on that. In summary, I thoroughly recommend the Tortuga Bay Hotel: it’s a beautiful hotel with very high standards and delightfully friendly staff.

Tortuga Bay Paradise: A Glowing Review. From the moment I arrived in the Punta Cana airport and walked off the plane, the VIP treatment began. A friendly representative greeted us outside the jet bridge and whisked us away to the private lounge. Someone else efficiently handled locating our luggage while we relaxed in comfort. Once the suitcases were located, we bypassed the regular lines and enjoyed expedited customs, ensuring a smooth transition into paradise. From then we were transferred via a private SUV to Tortuga Bay Hotel Punta Cana. Once we arrived our Concierge Ciara walked us to our villa and explained everything in the villa as she showed us how things worked in the villa. she also attended to all of our needs from coordinating dinner reservations and arranging rides for our excursions. I was impressed by the immaculate grounds. Lush palm trees, vibrant flowers, and perfectly manicured lawns created a breathtaking welcome. The Villa exceeded all expectations. The spacious living area offered a perfect separation between the two "wings" – ideal for privacy and relaxation. The primary bedroom was a haven with a king-size bed that promised ultimate comfort. The large bathroom boasted double sinks, a refreshing shower, and a luxurious soaking tub – everything you need to unwind after a day in paradise. The secondary bedroom mirrored the primary one, offering two plush queen beds and an equally impressive bathroom. The beach was nothing short of idyllic. The soft sand was meticulously combed every day, and there were plenty of comfortable beach chairs for lounging. One Wednesday, we practically had the entire beach to ourselves! Imagine basking in the sun with turquoise waters lapping at your feet and a dedicated waiter ready to fulfill your beach cocktail dreams. The innovative barrier system, placed about 400 feet into the sea with another layer 50 feet further, kept the seaweed at bay, ensuring a pristine beach experience. The staff truly elevated our stay. Ciara, our concierge, was exceptional. Her genuine care and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests. At the Bamboo restaurant, Damian, our dedicated waiter, consistently impressed us with his professionalism, personable demeanor, and all-around excellent service. Overall, Tortuga Bay is a phenomenal resort that deserves its reputation. The immaculate grounds, spacious and luxurious villas, pristine beach, and exceptional staff create an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Tortuga Bay to anyone seeking a slice of paradise. This would be great for family reunions.

Absolutely Perfect – A Must-Visit in Cap Cana! NOAH Restaurant at Cap Cana delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was stunning – serene, stylish, and right on the water, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. The service was top-tier: warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. Every detail was handled with care, and the staff genuinely made us feel welcome. The food? Simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor – fresh seafood, perfectly cooked steaks, and creative cocktails that matched the tropical vibe. You can tell they put heart into their menu and execution. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot or a special place to gather with friends or family, NOAH is the kind of restaurant you'll want to return to again and again. It was an absolutely stellar experience deserving of five stars! The rock shrimp tacos and Caribbean sea risotto were highlights, bursting with fresh, tropical ingredients that showcased the chef’s creativity. The cocktail menu, featuring refreshing strawberry daiquiris and piña coladas, perfectly complemented the meal. Service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making our evening memorable. We were staying at an Airbnb in Bavaro Beach (took about 35 min to get here around 8pm on a Friday) Our group had 8 people and we were celebrating our 35th birthday (my husband & mine) I had seen social media posts online and knew we’d come out to eat dinner here. Luckily, my friend called through WhatsApp to make a reservation because they did ask us for a lot of details including IDs to get into the Cap Cana area. All of our communication was through WhatsApp to make the reservation the day of. It is possible to just show up, but it might take you a little longer to get in. I have 0 complaints. Our server was Fabian and he was excellent! Food was all delicious and cooked well. I put $4500-$5000 DOP per person based on mine and my husband’s bill only. We had the 20oz Ribeye, Acevichado Roll, Bam Bam Roll, Goat Cheese Salad, 2 mango mojitos, 1 timsharista, 2 modelo’s, and the Cuatro Leches.

The food at Cerviche 301 was the best we had in the Bavaro area. Their cocktails are great, their food is freshly prepared and the prices are very good for the quality. Way, way worth the extra money!!! And definitely get the wine pairing. Do not miss out on this! It was an amazing experience and the food was excellent. Right on par with any excellent restaurant in NYC! Our waiters Luis and Joel were exceptional! Also, like to mention Junior, Herasme, Juan, Hector and Cesar as they assisted our waiters because a large group came in just after us. Their service throughout the dinner made the meal a most memorable experience we will never forget! Best night we had there...highly, highly recommended!!! We wish we could go back right now!!!

MUST VISIT! Dining at Passion was a highlight of my trip in Punta Cana! Service was impeccable, servers were extremely attentive to every detail. They went out their way to make sure we were comfortable in every way possible. Food was outstanding! It was very creative and visual appealing and of course delicious. Our favorite dish was the beetroot and tuna ceviche! It was completely mind blowing. We bought a bottle of wine which was priced accordingly. Overall an exciting experience and a grand finale with roses for my loved one and personalized menus!

We loved this place. A little skeptical at first because we’re not the fanciest people, but wanted to give it a shot. Wait staff was super friendly, food was unique and DELICIOUS (tortellini, steak and dessert were our favorites— as I said, we’re not that fancy 😊). Really fun to try dishes we’ll probably never have again. The portions are very small, but there’s lots of courses so we left STUFFED (and we like to eat, so that’s really saying something). This restaurant is definitely worth it despite the additional cost. Tip for men: wear long pants (even if they’re jeans)! My brother had to use a loaner pair because he didn’t bring any on vacation 😂

We were a group of 7 out of a family trip that decided to try the Passions tasting menu restaurant. Our main waitor -Martin, with the help of Luis, Senia and others, made our evening very special and enjoyable. The dishes were unique and delicious - what you expect from a tasting menu back home - but with much better bang for your buck. I discreetly told Martin it had been my father's birthday 2 days ago and they surprised us with a wonderful (and huge) chocolate platter at the end of our service - an amazing touch. If you go to this resort and appreciate this sort of experience, it is definitely worth your while. The other restaurants, while free, can't hold a candle to Passions.

If you find yourself in Punta Cana, make sure to stop by Heladeria Valentino Blue Mall for a delightful treat that will cool you down after a day of exploring the beautiful beaches. This charming ice cream café is not only known for its rich and creamy ice cream but also boasts surprisingly excellent coffee that rivals other local spots.
Upon arrival we got a warm greeting from the sale lady serving ice cream. She didn’t know we didn’t speak fluent Spanish, but once she realized that she made sure to go above and beyond to help us. To help us decide, she gave us a few flavors of ice cream to try and allowed us to try others we saw. This was very helpful in understanding the flavors and to pick out the flavors we liked best. We would definitely recommend the rocher ice cream… it’s a must come back! Though out the whole time she had a warm friendly smile on her face and assist us as best as she could’ve. We just want to say that you for the amazing customer service and help you provide. We will definitely be back for more when we come back to Punta Cana.

Surprisingly good ice cream 😃. Very rich flavors and generous portions. Nice little seating area.
Shahab K — Google review
This is by far the best place for coffee in Punta Cana, I’ve tried them all, Brott comes a close second. Valentino is extensivelly an excellent Ice cream cafe but the hidden gem is their coffee, there is a Santo Domingo coffee shop nearby but I’ve told them their coffee is awful, I like a strong coffee made directly from beans, I don’t eat Ice cream but judging by the numbers of customers it’s extremely popular. There are lots of seating available.

Bistro Med is a popular restaurant located at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, known for its delicious Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu offers a variety of fresh and fast options, including chicken skewers, hummus, falafel, and cocktails. Visitors praise the attentive staff and even mention that the chef personally visited their table. It's highly recommended for those looking for a light yet satisfying meal with flavorful dishes.
We really enjoyed having a healthier option inside the Hard Rock Resort. The food was some of the best I’ve had on property so far; lots of unique options and great flavors.

This place is inside the hard rock cafe, can't comment on the authenticity of the recipes but we loved the food. We wanted some snacks, not a full dinner, so ordered apps and liked the food very much. I'll come back to try the other dishes.
Prakash H — Google review
It’s like taking a quick trip to the Mediterranean… with a very long layover in the Caribbean. The gyros are nicely done, but the Mediterranean flavor clearly didn’t make it through customs. The falafels are perfectly crispy, though the sauce that comes with them feels more like a lost tourist than a proper companion. The staff is so friendly you can’t tell whether to thank them or ask them to move just a tiny bit faster. Still, the vibe is relaxed and great for a slow, easy dinner. Overall, it’s a fun and tasty change of pace from the usual tropical fare.
Valek — Google review
I don’t know what to call the specialties of this restaurant ? It is Mediterranean? Or Dominican version of Lebanese food? Or a new kind of food? Anything but not Lebanese! The meat and chicken kebabs and the hommos and babaghnouj neither the falafel taste original or authentic in my humble opinion as previous owner of Lebanese restaurant in New York once rated top notch by Zagat Anyhow it was different and okay but not wow

The place is amazing and the service is top tier ✨ I enjoyed the sushi and pasta a lot! The burger could’ve been more seasoned, it was just okay… wings were good but the ranch dressing was too watery. The money you pay upon entry goes towards your food bill and you pay the difference for whatever goes over the amount. Overall I love the place! Would go again and again!!! Please note: no outside food allowed; no cameras (phone camera okay)

Very good deal! We paid $200 for a poolside, covered, bungalow and that $200 went toward food and drink credits. There's music, wifi, and power outlets. This is a great place to spend the day. There are 2 pools and beach access. It gets crowded at 4 so I recommending arriving before 2 unless you like crowds.

I like this place I’m visiting often for more than three years. It’s a nice oasis far from the noise and hustle, compared to the other Punta Cana beaches. It used to be $30 for a person and now they rise it to 50$ for a minimum consumption. Which is OK in most of the cases but sometime I want to pass for one or two hours just not enough time to fulfill the $50 minimum requirement. It’s always been music at the pool area and sometime they organize, dancing and other events. I don’t know why lately they moved the the DJ and the speakers next to the beach chairs and it’s very loud. The previous way was better.. because people are trying to relax at the beach area and now I cannot make conversation with my friends just Too noisy. This just come back maybe from there complaining the noise cannot sleep used to be better. I give three stars for the service for the reason that the waiters trying softly to cheating in the check.. so visitors ask for your receipts and check out what is in there. Despite of that, that’s my favorite place in the area.. in one of the important things the management responding to most of the comments . It’s nice to know that your opinion is being taken..

This place is amazing, the beach is great and the club is well maintained, clean and full of amenities like 2 pools, beach access and the restaurant. I guess I was just so unlucky because when I went there they had no FISH/SEAFOOD at all… only the fried fish available. Of course form a beach club you expect to have lots of seafood options, but having NONE from the menu, was quite disappointing. Service to be improved definitely; the guys on the Beach are doing a great job, but they need to be more attentive and know what the guest needs. I waited more than 10 minutes to receive my cutleries for the fish, to then eat it cold. If you arrive by Uber there’s a gate, show them your reservation and they’ll open for you. Once leaving the club, check with the security to let your Uber coming in to pick you up.
Noemi ( — Google review
We called ahead to make a reservation 4 times. They answered and hung up. By the 5th call we had to get our front desk to make the call for us because they clear only respect locals. One person told us it was open for food and no reservation needed. So we spent money and went. The guard at the gate told us reservation only & they were only accepting old people ???? We asked to speak to a manager and he waved us off. Tourism clearly come here regularly. So as a tourist destination please figure out how to have staff who can communicate properly. Or just keep it for Spanish speaking guests. Very frustrating!!!

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had the pleasure of being served by John and Massiel who provided top-notch service. Attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. I ordered the spicy margarita- perfectly balanced cocktail. Our meals came in timely manner which we also enjoyed. Not to mention the ocean view next to the bar. Highly recommend—this place is a gem!

Took advantage of the taco Tuesday special. Had the Al Pastor taco which was enough. I would have been hard pressed to eat a second for sure. I also included a couple of classic margaritas. I will definitely be back for more. On the beachside of the restaurant is the outdoor bar and seating area. They have some couches which will fill up in a hurry. Seating at the bar and also by the beach is in high demand. Worth the wait to sit there for sure.

Service is an issue. No one cares, no one welcomes, or interested to serve some food or drink options. We came in for the special pizza offer, got denied, still placed an order; waited for 45 minutes during absolutely not busy time. Food was ok, asked for salt; gave me “something” mixed with dirty rice in a used beer bottle that doesn’t work so I have to make wholes with fork in the cork. Dissatisfaction

We ate here tonight and enjoyed it! The service and atmosphere was on point! The appetizers and most of the tacos were amazing. The only tacos I didn't enjoy were the pork belly and El Pastor one's. Club Med Punta Cana is a vibrant all-inclusive beachfront resort located in the Dominican Republic. Spanning over 100 acres, it offers a complete tropical getaway for families with access to four restaurants, four bars, and an array of included activities. The resort boasts unlimited water and land sports, daily and nightly entertainment, as well as a kids' club catering to children from 4 months to 17 years old.
This is the fourth time my friends and I have stayed at Club Med Punta Cana, and it continues to exceed expectations every visit (whether for work events or personal vacations). The resort is absolutely beautiful and has a truly welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. The staff makes all the difference. Yan at the Zen beach service is always attentive, charming, and quick with refreshing drinks that make relaxing by the ocean even better. Eduardo at the main bar brings so much energy and fun. His personality guarantees you’ll have a blast. At Indigo and the main bar, Juan has been our favorite every single time. We honestly look forward to seeing him each trip. A special mention goes to Samarun, who goes above and beyond with his professionalism and hospitality. He keeps guests informed about all the resort activities, answers every question with care, and makes sure things get done quickly and smoothly. His helpfulness really takes the guesswork out of planning your days at the resort. Truly A+ service! We, two adults, stayed two weeks at ClubMed Punta Cana. Wonderful place. Enjoyed it a lot. Good variety of food and particularly the fresh fruit was to die for! As always the club has lots and lots of activities. As it was extremely hot and humid during our stay (as expected) we didn't use all of them but enjoyed what we did manage to do. The Archery was particularly good fun and well run by the very friendly GO Clement. Made me come back almost all days to improve my skills 😁. The morning walks with Pablo and Mike were also very enjoyable. We'll be back. As with a lot of places in the Caribbean the influx of invasive seaweed is a big problem. A small army of workers do their best to keep the beach clean but sometimes it is just too much. If prestine white beaches are your thing then be forewarned.

We are a Club Med family- our whole family loves vacationing at Club Med, from the adults to the kids!! Our favorite resort is Punta Cana- it is wonderful and very convenient- a 5-10 minute drive from the airport. Our most recent trip was Aug must 2925. Abdel is currently the chef du village and is “aux petits soins”- very present and strives to make each guest feel welcome and comfortable. His team, including YOUYOU and MIGUEL, are also very helpful and make the effort to interact with guests to ensure that all is going well. Ido think that the service aspect (front desk and premier member concierge) was not quite up to prior stays- for example, there was an issue with the organization of our departure that made us leave 1.5 hours after our scheduled time. We nearly missed our flight and it was very stressful. However, the mini club was wonderful, as always. BANANA, JOHN, SOPHIE, VERO COCO, SALOME, et ALEXIE took wonderful care of our kids and were full of energy. The circus team was also exceptional and helped my daughter, who loves the circus, learn new tricks!! Thank you so much for the magical memories that you created for our kids and our family!! We will be back!!

Upon arrival at around 11pm, our experience unfortunately started off on the wrong foot. We had booked a Family deluxe room and unfortunately ours had quite a foul odor upon entering the room. AC in the kids room also was not working. We ended up temporarily relocating to a downsized room for the night in order for the hotel to sort out the smell issue. It took us 2h from arrival to having to put the kids to bed at 1 AM. By morning, we were informed that our original room would be cleaned once more and AC fixed which took an entire day. We only entered the room around 4pm with our luggage waiting for us outside the room obviously containing important documentation. It ultimately resulted in a refund of 2 nights. It was definitely not a good first impression for first time guests. We fully expected management to directly get in touch with us which was not done. Big thank you to Pascale who ultimately got us sorted out into a proper, fully functioning room. We truly appreciated her professionalism and empathy. That being said, if we base ourselves only on the resort itself, it truly is a great resort don’t get me wrong. There are three big pools: one for kids, one for families, and one for adults. We tried all three, and they were really amazing. There are so many activities for both kids and adults, and you’ll never get bored. The resort is huge, beautifully maintained, and our room was always spotless after the smell problem was resolved. We had nothing to say about the hotel facilities themselves. I would definitely go back to another Club Med just to experience that again. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever want to stay at another hotel brand besides Club Med, I just wish our concerns at the beginning of our vacation would have been addressed in a more timely manner, especially from management. On a positive note, the Kids Club team was absolutely amazing. They were always warm, welcoming, and playful with our children, making them excited to go every day. Special thanks to Gabriella Chocolat, Vero Coco, Shaina, Jeffson, Djerson, Kimberly, and John C. You made a big difference in our stay. And for those whose names I may have forgotten, especially the teams for the 4–5-year-olds and 6–7-year-olds. Thank you as well for the wonderful work you all did. Your patience, smiles, and energy really made our kids’ experience unforgettable. The food was good, and Charles made the best drinks at the bar! The animation team, especially Youyou, was full of energy and brought great vibes to the resort. Now, I normally never bring race into things I grew up in a mutli cultural country and believe in equal treatment for everyone. But as a person of color, I can honestly say that the way I was treated by some of the Dominican staff at the resort was disappointing and made me uncomfortable. To explain: when I tipped a lady at Hispaniola, I always had great service water at the table and attentive care. But when she wasn’t around, I suddenly got ignored. I believe in tipping for good service, not the other way around. At the kids’ pool, I asked for towels and was told “no towels.” Two minutes later, a Caucasian guest asked the same person and received two towels right away. I had to go back and speak to someone else to finally get the towels. At the Indigo restaurant, my husband and I were seated before another group, but the staff took their order first and ignored us until we had to ask. And the worst moment of all, whilst walking with my children, a construction worker on site, although not a Club Med staff member, called me the N-word. I was shocked and deeply hurt. Club Med really needs to look deeper into their staff’s behavior and attitudes, because regardless of my skin color, I paid for my stay like everyone else. Money has no color and every guest deserves respect and fair treatment. Would I go back to Club Med Punta Cana? Definitely not. But would I give Club Med a chance elsewhere? Absolutely, because the resort itself was wonderful, and I truly believe the experience could be different elsewhere.

Our girls' vacation was once again wonderful in every way. Last year we were in Cancún and this year we decided on Punta Cana. We met Abdel again, the same Chef de Village, with Samarun as Leisure Experience Manager, who was always among the guests with a winning smile and an open ear. We all agree that Samarun will make an excellent Chef de Village. We stayed at the Zen Oasis – truly an oasis with a beautiful pool and gorgeous rooms. As there was (exceptionally) no pickleball instructor during my week's vacation, I did yoga and Pilates under the palapa on the beach instead. Here I ran into the lively Melanie from last year in Cancún, who knows how to motivate people. The evening shows, music, and dancing were just great, and we loved the music at the bar, where you could really dance the night away in Caribbean temperatures. The food was fantastic, and we never had any trouble finding a table in one of the restaurants. In the meantime, the work on the newly built restaurant and bar was completed. We only saw the construction work, unfortunately not the opening. I'm sure this part of the club village center is another great addition to the village. As former G.O.s (from the 90s) and on our birthday trip, Samarun organized a beautiful, decorated table for us with special service throughout the evening. Thanks again! Actually it is a family village and we usually prefer "adults only". But surprisingly, we didn't notice anything from the families and the atmosphere was excellent.

I desperately want to give 5 stars, but perfect scores mean that guests are willing to overlook any negativity, and thus management will also think the negatives aren’t worth fixing. So with that, I start with the reason for four stars: The rooms! We stayed in the most cost effective rooms and they were AWFUL. And don’t tell me “oh but you’re not paying for the room, you’re paying for all the activities, the all inclusive, etc.” And to that I reply: No, I AM paying for the room. And I want a room that’s nice, or at least decent. Punta Cana - like many other Club Mes properties - has appalling rooms unless you pay for the premium ones. No doubt premium prices should result in higher quality. But basic rooms shouldn’t be terrible. Not for club Med prices. What is so bad? Everything in the rooms are cheap, weak and on their last legs. A fresh coat of paint is appreciated but it’s not going to fix ugly 1990s tiles with mildew, cheap bathroom counter tops, faucets that are too short so the water flows onto the counter and not into the basin, the cheapest wall art you’ve ever seen… it’s just not good. And here I change to the positives, because we loved our experience there and would be tempted to go back, minus the rooms . They opened a brand new reception/bar/lounge/restaurant/patio complex while we were there and it is STUNNING. The activities are top notch. The GOs are always helpful, always have a smile, always ready to bring the fun. The food was great. The tennis courts were good enough, and there were a lot of them. The circus facilities were well kept. The shows at night were entertaining. The main pool was older but still very nice. Grounds are well kept… except for the pathways which need major repaving and are both unsightly due to their cracks and uneven surface but also you risk twisting your ankle so it’s uncomfortable to walk on them and then everyone calls for the shuttle service because no one wants to break an ankle on the way to dinner, and then the queues for the shuttle become too long! One more kudos: I LOVE the fact that there are NO plastic water bottles given to guests, no plastic cutlery or takeaway containers, no plastic garage bags in the rooms, no mini plastic toiletries. Wish all resorts could get rid of plastic! In short, If you don’t care about a nice room, then you will have absolutely everything you want at Punta Cana!

Looks Nice, But Miserable Stay I can’t believe how disappointing this trip has been. The air conditioning doesn’t work, even though they promised multiple times it was fixed — it never was. After being out all day in the humid 88-degree heat, it would be nice to come back and relax in a cool room at night, but that’s impossible here. The bed is so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor. Everyone smiles and promises to “make me happy” and “take care of it,” but nothing actually gets done. I had to go get my own luggage after they said twice it would be delivered. I asked for water — they said they’d bring it — never came. The TV remote doesn’t work either. And the food… just bland, boring, and the same thing day after day. You have to eat here for every meal, so that’s been a huge disappointment. I came here expecting comfort and relaxation, but instead, it’s been frustration after frustration. The people are nice, but nice doesn’t fix broken A/C, bad food, or sleepless nights. The resort, palm trees, location is beautiful. The staff are very nice, and want to help. I still have a few days to go , will update if things improve!

The seaweed situation was extreme, making it impossible to enjoy the beach at all. In addition, the ongoing renovations turned the main pool area into an unpleasant and noisy space. Perhaps once the renovations are completed and if you visit outside of seaweed season, it could become a much more enjoyable place to stay. Due to these factors, we would consider this vacation to be, unfortunately, no more than average.

Pizza restaurant
Wow! A good find! We were looking for simple pizza and pasta, stumbled upon this restaurant. Super friendly for kids. The pizzas were so nice and soft, thin and chewy. Proper wood fired oven! Just what we like. The manager and server were very accommodating and spoke good english. We will definitely come back.

Good spot nice atmosphere but staff seem to be not invested no smile and seem to be not paid well may be. I always leave good tip but sometime I feel like some don’t deserve it. To the owner : Someone wise once said “ ice melts from top to bottom”. Seems to me the problem
Adil H — Google review
There is no interaction, you have to wave them down to come take tour order, I asked for 1 pizza, they brought me 2. Then added 18% gratuity. Mu total was 2528, when I changed to usd on my phone, I was to pay 42.31, then she tells me she had to divide the 2528 by 55 to get 45.96. This is the ONLY restaurant here that has done that to me, but couldn't explain why. Oh and they overcharged me for one of the pizzas, not the price on the menu. Do not recommend for pricing issues.
Roshonda S — Google review
Dining in this establishment is unbearable due to the heat but is somewhat understandable. It is irritating that this establishment does not allow pizza modifications or at least makes it difficult to modify a pizza. The waiter being seemingly upset that there are customers coming in during what I assume is a slow period is not a good look. We almost walked out.
Edwin L — Google review
Dined here on our last night in Punta Cana. The variety of pizza dishes was amazing. Both kids and adults enjoyed the classic margherita pizza. We tried the Burrata e Pistacchio and it was a hit... Such a unique explosion of flavors and the burrata was so fulfilling! The La Rachetta pizza was so interesting as well, with the mix of cheeses and cheese-filled dough "handle". The only thing that could've used improvement was the service. Once seated, it took a long while for the server to take our order and provide basics like glasses and drinks. But overall, it was a good experience.

If you have to have pizza on your tropical vacation this is a good place to try. No complaints from us. We got the pepperoni and it was crispy and had good flavor. The location is nice and the prices are reasonable.

Fast food restaurant
I’m think most reviews are bad because people who eat here are leaving a 5 day all inclusive (unlimited luxury) resort. Back to reality! Crappy customer service at a fast food! Really? Just because we are in another country doesn’t mean that it will be better service. Food was Wendy’s I liked my burger and fries!
Edgar A — Google review
The service is unfriendly, and more importantly, you really need to double-check your bill. They tend to add extra charges, and the total ends up being higher than it should be. They automatically upgrade your meal to a larger size without asking, which costs an extra two dollars – and they don’t even check if you want it. On top of that, this is an international airport, yet the staff can barely count to ten in English. That’s just unacceptable in a place that serves travelers from around the world.
Jacob Z — Google review
If they ask you if you want to pay in dollars or euros, the amount to be paid can never be the same, because they charge $60 = €60. It's stealing from the customer.
Tutunana — Google review
We had trouble ordering a meal in English. Since it is an international airport, I recommend hiring people who speak more than one language. The crackers I got with my salad were all crushed. I had to go back and ask for a replacement. Overall, it was good enough for an airport meal. It can be better.
Sandra K — Google review
The employees are more worried about gossiping with each other than serving you. I stood there for five minutes while the woman had my food in her hand talking until I said something about it. Keep in mind I was the only one waiting for food… horrible service.
Tamara E — Google review
The lady handing out the bags of food was completely disrespectful. The 10 piece chicken nuggets were missing from our bag, my husband brought the recipt up to her and she gave him attitude. The bag only had 8 nuggets instead of 10 so my daughter went up for the additional 2 and the same lady was very rude and was not helpful.
H — Google review
Line is long but they move fast, ordered a combo plus a classic. I didn't get my drink hut the classic instead, that was annoying but I couldn't be bothered. Otherwise, no complain so far
Unique C — Google review
Prices are reasonable…they accept US cash (not coins) and cards. Fries are familiar but BABY the burger patty is fat as ever. It’s definitely not made fresh. Wendy’s patties are supposed to be thin and flavorful. This was neither. Maybe get fries and nuggets if you come here. My Dave’s single combo (sandwich, fries, drink) was $13.
