The place is nice. O do not know there is a door that can ve used from outside. It is in a shopping mall (I guess that was a mall) so we spent some time to find the place. The menu has lots of options. I chose ribeye steak with salad. The steak was delicious, cooked as medium nicely but it has less fat then an ordinary ribeye steak. I guess ı will go again to taste different things. I liked the place.

Alex is a great and convenient place to have an amazing brunch with a group of friends. Easy to park, as it's in the mall, and the food and service were great. They won't rush you out of the place, even after several hours of joy. Also, they were very accommodating and the food itself was delicious and everyone was happy. The atmosphere is a comfortable casual morning place. I highly recommend this place for brunch. Very affordable, friendly, and great tasting.

Delicious well done burger sandwiches of satisfying size. The steak wasn't as well done as we expected and rather very small in size for the price, so I recommend that you stick to the burger. Nice place, good service and atmosphere. Would recommend it.

We spend almost an hour until someome picked up our order, then about half an hour to get the food and now we now spend 30 minutes trying to pay... The service is terrible and couldn't be worse. There is no excuse about to much to do. There are 3 waitress, one is constantly smoking, one is only picking up the used dishes and the third one picks up the orsers. There are about 10 people in the restaurant, so there is also no excuse about to much trouble... Never ever again... The only good thing is the very tasty food, but that's all...

We tried the Luuc specials, and the drinks were excellent. However, I found them a bit pricey. The atmosphere was a bit noisy as well, mainly due to the coffee machine. There was only one person handling the service. Overall, the experience was enjoyable thanks to the great location and drinks.

One of my favourite brunch spots in Karlsruhe, but make sure to either be early or have a reservation as it gets quite crowded. My personal favorite is the Magnus bagel. The burrata and grilled veggies are so good together. The Otto is also very nice with the hollandaise sauce and brioche toast. It's a better deal to double up the Otto. The Elderberry and Pomegranate limo is quite refreshing on a hot summer day.

The food here is incredible. I’ve had breakfast and a hummus bowl here. I’ll be back but I will be back knowing that the service is awful. For breakfast it was quiet and lunch it was completely full and both times felt ignored. For the busy lunch service it took an hour and a half from sitting to eating. There was one waitress and one barista helping her with tables. Every table had to walk to the kitchen to ask to order. They need more staff. Vibes are medium - if you get one of the two window tables it’s lovely but otherwise it’s dark inside. The food makes up for all of it, though. Just know what to expect.

We had the pleasure of visiting Café LUUC (many times) and it always exceeds our expectations. The café's inviting and hipster atmosphere adds a modern touch, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. What stood out the most was the diverse range of delicious vegetarian dishes offered. It's evident that Café LUUC prioritizes quality and freshness. Despite the café is not central located, it is situated in the most beautiful area of Karlsruhe :)

I was just about to give five stars only because the guy at the cashier was very very kind. But the coffee tastes bad and one of the waitresses there were against we drank from our to go (paper mugs). So it is 'forbidden' to drink coffe in paper mugs sittingmthere. If you want paper, you shall go outside you are not allowed to sit there. No sense. Just no sense. In the ceramic cups, the coffe goes pretty quickly cold. We do not understand it, and we wont give any stars. Sorry.

A little breakfast place that is very clean and with a good selection of bread and coffees. The prices are reasonable and they also have an outdoor seating area. Parking is a challenge so take some extra time if you have an appointment. Star. Are friendly.

This place was kinda ok before. The breakfast they offer is good, a bit expensive. Coffe cold and not strong enough. Today we experienced such an unpleasant attitude from the staff. Whats happening with hospitality and kindness here. Unfortunately _gone. On the end of the day we are paying for the service and the food too. They made the total visit so unpleasant. We will not come to this place again. Petty, as we were regular here before, every second week group of 8 -10 of us were eating before work...good for the Umsatz. Not anymore. Goodbye:)

Modern, big and clean looking bakery. I ordered 1 sweet apple pastry (photo) and it was delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed by the offer of sweet pastries. The bakery looks huge, but the selection was actually small. As for the coffee - very average taste, not great, not terrible.

A tasty place to grab breakfast and coffee with friends. Easy to get to by tram and friendly service available in German and some English. Decent prices and portions for what you get. Outside seating available, but be aware windy days can blow your plate away!

Always full of people due to its quality. You can eat there or take away. They have several kinds of breads in mini versions, what is great! I recommend their menu/combo. Do not forget to reserve in advance otherwise you will have to wait some 5 minutes to take a seat (what is acceptable).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE If you read their stories and their dream, that came true, it summarises very well the experience you have in this wonderful place. Dont get me wrong, it is not a huge, wow, crazy attraction, it is a feel good place. We went there for breakfast today and yes, you have a break from your everyday. From food/drinks, service to decoration, all is so simple but also so very yummy and special! I fell in love today. Been here 2-3 times before but due to time I was only able to get a takeaway chai latte, damn I am glad we went in to get the full experience. It was almost perfect, but…Surprisingly LONG LUNCH WAITING TIMES AT WEEKENDS! Be prepared to wait for drinks 15-20 min and for food 50-70min…that’s why minus points for service. Even the service itself was awesome, waitresses were coming all the time to check if we were fine and if we wanted more drinks..the food itself and drinks were great, we loved it. Too crowded for such a tiny place. Meaning it’s popular and having great vibes. I definitely recommend it but consider to spent a lot time there on peak hours. CAFE DOES NOT ACCEPT TABLE RESERVATIONS.

Made a mistake to buy a cake again from them and they disappointed me again! The Black Forest cake had only one layer with too much alcohol inside! The other one was too sweet with no other flavours! Wouldn’t recommend the cakes.

Overpriced- tiny breakfast for 10€ (!) (one egg,slice of a cucumber,slice of a tomato 2 pieces of bread ans some fruits, see picture attached, served without a drink). Slow unfriendly service, we asked twice for sugar-water or a small glass with hot water for the flavorless iced coffee (without mentioning the enraged face we got for asking that) and we got it in the end of the meal. The dirty dishes stayed until we left with dozens of wasps flying around the dirty plates (I'll spare you the pics of that). 2 stars were given for the location and the nice view.

Traditional Cafe Conditorei specializing in macaroons. Their selection of pastries could have been larger but the quality was very good. The macaroons were perfectly made but I found the flavors a bit lackluster. Once the huge building project in the square is completed, the view will also be very appealing.

This place has great environment and outdoor area to sit and relax. The cakes are really delicious. They have different types of cakes which I have tried few of them. The coffee is good too. The staff are nice and helpful but barely speak english. I went there to have a coffee and do some works on laptop. The only thing was that the wi-fi is restricted and I couldn't connect to some applications. Overall, I recommend this place if you don't need to work with much Internet and only want to catch up with friends.

Very dissapointing food. I had the mushroom tortellini (all of 3 bits!!), my partner had pasta with strips of salmon, not sure the fish was particularly fresh. Drinks and service were good, but food gets 2/5.

No fair prices, for a normal small drink 3€ and it isn't at least not 0,25l

We waited 45 min to have the drinks and almost 1 h to get something to eat. A friend ordered tagliatelle with salmon but they brought penne with something that was far away to be an Italian dish. Not worth 13 Euros. Not recommended.

From knife recommendation to food and drinks and all that done in a calm and friendly manner makes the service very special. Food Aaaah the steak. Freshly brought from USA. Nice bit,thick and juice. I recommend the medium rare -classic American. On a scale from 1 to 10 the steak was over the top! Every step of the way. I will be back there-soon, very soon. Pure 5 Star for the complete , over the top experience!

This is literally one of the best cafés I've ever been to. Food variety is outstanding, and the dishes are abundant and well served. The place is very cozy and gives off peaceful vibes. It is quite popular amongst students and locals too! The staff always serves you with a smile and shows kindness at all time. Even when they serve you slightly late when it gets crowded, they show humble and apologetic behaviour. I'm already a regular client by now. Every Saturday I treat myself to their meals ;)

Little base recently opened in Karlsruhe. I kinda like the ambience on the inside but on the contrary the outside feels a less lovely decorated and a little too much of the white stones but I think that is a personal thing. Considering the drinks, I have to remark that they are okey but there are some things that can be done better. When ordering just two drinks (even one hot and one cold) I would expect them to come at the same time. Furthermore the coffee itself was really not great in taste and the foam was a little hard as it can be seen on the picture. Furthermore, the size of the Aperol was quite small considering the price. I think what disturbed me the most was the additional charge for plant based milk as I am convinced that nowadays there should not be a price difference anymore!

The wait time for the food was a long, but this could be because they have just opened last week and aren't fully grooved in yet. The food looks and tastes amazing! The menu is creative and has lots of vegetarian options.

Food was alright, at best. Will not go there again as they overcharged (I paid 5,90€ extra for fried egg). My friend asked for one extra bread roll as the waiter said there wouldn’t be any included in his breakfast menu and we got served 4 rolls and we were charged 1€ extra for each roll. Also the grapes on my friends plate were bad, when he told a waitress she took them and didn’t offer any kind of exchange and said they were out of grapes. When paying waiter tried telling me that usually it would be 2€ per roll and that he is actually giving us a better price, what a joke. Overall not a good experience.

Impressed with this relaxing and coffee shop within the train station. Ordered two iced coffees and they were good. The black iced coffee was a little burnt but was still a good cup of coffee. The ice was good and didn’t melt before the drink was done and the fact that they use REAL GLASSWARE, is so nice. Additionally, they had a significant selection of vegan items which was great to see. Especially on an extensive travel day. Cons- The couches and chairs look nice, but are pretty uncomfortable, probably to deter people hanging around for too long. There aren’t any gluten free & vegan options that I could see. And charging 1€ for a dairy alternative felt annoying. However overall, it was a nice change from a Starbucks.

I got an Iced Latte Caramel flavored. It was alright tasting. However, the paper straws provided are absolutely terrible quality. The straw was falling apart before I even started drinking, just in the time to walk to my train platform. Really impacted the experience of my drink when my straw kept bending around, feeling like it might break apart any second. This isnt a paper straw issue; Ive had plenty of ok paper straws. Its a cheap quality issue, to the point of disturbing my ability to enjoy my drink while waiting for my train.

My god, has the American tipping disease now reached Europe to? Shame on who are the decision-makers who cooked this up. Before you can pay, you are presented a "mandatory" tipping screen. I feel sorry for the staff having to face the guests with this horrible practice. Shame on you, Costa management.

I had a terrible experience here. I came in to order a caramel milkshake, and what I got was just milk with a tiny splash of caramel — absolutely no creaminess, no shake texture, and no flavor. It was honestly insulting to call that a milkshake. Even worse, the woman at the counter was extremely rude for no reason. We didn’t even speak loudly or say anything wrong, yet she raised her voice, acted irritated, and seemed to be aggressively tapping and moving things around like we were bothering her just by existing. She also snapped that they didn’t have cream, with a very unpleasant attitude. This is not how you treat customers, especially when you’re serving subpar products. Avoid this place — bad service, bad attitude, and what I received was not a milkshake.

Most comfy place in the station to wait for your train, your friends or charge your electronic devices. I always pick flat white, I prefer the flat white in Costa to the ones In Starbucks donno why. Seasonal drinks are also cool but sometimes they could be a bit too sweet. 🥐is good choice if you crave for something sweet but not so hungry. Sandwiches are okayish. Atmosphere is good here, not crowded not noisy and with good music.

Amazing bakery. We were traveling and found it while we stayed at a near by hotel. We got the mango crossiant, pistachio roll, rasberry tart and mango chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. The lady was super sweet.

I was however disapointed with the freshness of the cake ordered. I went to drink some coffee at Baumeister street, and on my way there I saw this bakery. It's been a while I haven't done something normal as buying some cake for myself, I thought. 😔 After all, I went to bed hungry last night 🤦🏾‍♀️. And most importantly, I can't have coffee with an empty stomach. 😏 Thus, I decided to get something to eat. The lady was nice and the gentleman spoke fluent English. Not that I don't understand/ speak German 🤣, I just think this information could help you. Anyways, let me tell you about the delicacies 😍. Uhmazing. They taste like life pre-covid. Do you feel me? Croissant with pistachio creme 😱. Have you ever had that? I feel sorry for anyone who has not tasted cake from this bakery 😢. Next time you feel like going outside, give this shop a try. We popped in for a quick breakfast while passing the city. Sandwiches and other breakfast baked goods taste good. Coffee is a bit weak. But the big disappointment was when I got a small 'streusel' type tart. With the first bite I thought it was a bit hard to chew but the second one stunned me. It was ice cold and stone hard. Apparently they were frozen and didn't have time to unfreeze in the display. No apology from the lady behind the counter. And I feel it's not fair towards the customer to serve u frozen tarts as fresh especially for the price they charge
