Had a vibrant vegan tomato soup that I enjoyed very much. My main however, the green Thai curry, was flavourless and disappointing. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy.

Best carvery I've had in a while! Great selection of veg and other sides such as Mac and Cheese and potato gratin. The meat was cooked lovely and plenty of it! Yorkshire puddings were straight out of the oven and sooo good! As a table of 5, we all had the carvery and were all impressed. Also had desserts and they were really good. We had caramel apple Betty, chocolate brownie and kids sundae. Couple of things for improvement. There was a big queue at the bar to order food and drinks. The furniture could do with a refresh. Will definitely be returning for our next carvery.

Had a wonderful experience at Walsall Brewers Fayre! The cuisine was absolutely delicious and served fresh in a clean, hygienic environment. The staff were professional, attentive, and very friendly, making the visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend

Located next to the Premier Inn hotel. Food was really nice and didn't take long to prepare. The hotel was located in a great location (in my opinion). Right next to the Canal which provided a pleasant walk. The were a few other options for food within easy walking distance. The room was as expected.

Had a really lovely birthday dinner here, the starter of wings, burger main and brownie dessert were delicious! but the real gift was the service delivered by MVP Mel!!!!! She went above and beyond to cater to us, including gifting myself a Brewers Fayre gift token and a candle to blow out in my dessert, could not fault her amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

The restaurant it self is good food is nice and service is standard but the is one thing that is of putting you can get hot or cold drinks the hot drinks are good but the cold drinks are the problem they only I have no sugar drinks

One of the best breakfast cafes we've ever visited and a Walsall institution. Jack and Ada and their staff know how to cook amazing breakfasts and have a fantastic additional range on their menus! Wonderful food, always served with a smile and a lovely chat to go with it. Absolutely worth making a visit whenever you're in town.

For around 40 years I've walked this earth occasionally pondering on the question "what is the world's finest sandwich?" A few days ago I happened to be visiting my home town of Walsall for a day when I discovered the answer - it's the Cheesy Sensation from Jack and Ada's café. Bacon and sausage glued together with generous slatherings of melted cheese and hot sauce (Cholula?). Two layers of toast on the outside and a fried slice in the middle that somehow makes all other sandwiches feel inferior. It's cheesy, it's sensational, it's the Cheesy Sensation.

I went in to JACK & ADA'S for a quick bite. I ordered a Bacon, Cheese and Mushroom sarnie and strong cup of tea. I have to say that it was the best sandwich I have ever had whilst eating out. It was huge! Lots of bacon, lots of yummy melted cheese and big juicy mushrooms. Everything was cooked to perfection. The cafe was clean and didn't have that lingering greasy spoon smell that attaches itself to your clothes. The music, decor and vibe was chilled out. The staff were friendly. I will certainly be visiting again to sample more of their menu.

Absolutely BANGING breakfast. So big and tasty. The best value for money and keeps our vegan friends happy. We come from an hour away for parkrun and brunch - we love it that much! Fab service too with outside tables for the summer.

I only have great things to say about this place, great food, staff and atmosphere! Not only are the portions generous the prices is very affordable too. I loved that there was a huge range of food choices to choose from and being a vegetarian this is one of the best places around here I’ve seen have such a wide variety of veggie and vegan options, even the drink are incredible too from hot coffee to iced and even alcoholic beverages! This had been a such a pleasant experience and I’ll definitely coming back!

Wonderful experience here! Friendly and welcoming staff, generous portion sizes, and a fantastic selection of vegetarian/ vegan & gluten free options. All of these things set jack and Ada’s a bar above the rest, also pleasantly Suprised to find I could get a pint with lunch! Delicious hearty food with a warm and homely feel as well as the lovely staff cemented my belief that this is a gem of Walsall. Very much look forward to returning.

Came here today after making a last minute booking. Very busy like every Toby Carvery on a Sunday. We arrived early so got a drink a drink at the bar. Service quite slow. People had also been eating at the bar tables and there were dirty plates on most of the tables. The plates were left for ages, meaning that customers were moving them so that they had somewhere to sit. We were called to our table and joined the queue straight away as the queue was huge! The queue took around 15 mins to get served. Great choice of meat (gammon, pork, turkey, beef and lamb) and a good selection of veggies and potatoes which were replenished often so there was plenty to choose from. All food was hot and the Yorkshire puddings were huge!! We really enjoyed our food and our waitress was lovely. We also ordered a couple of puddings (cookie dough brownie and kids ice cream). Overall, one of the better Toby Carvery restaurants that I've been to and would visit again.

Booked a table for 12 for my mom's 90th birthday, it was a great experience. Very friendly staff and always happy to help. Food was excellent. Big thank you to Ryan and Antony. Would highly recommend.

Lovely food, pleasant staff. I have knocked a star off because it would have been nice if we had had a quick reminder about breakfast service ending when we paid at the beginning. We didn't get everything we'd have liked as service ended quite soon after we arrived. Overall though, very nice. I would recommend but arrive fairly early if you wish to have more than one plate of food.

I had a wonderful experience here! The service was excellent from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Jane, really made the afternoon special—she was polite, well-spoken, and had a great sense of humor that made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with such a warm personality. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Went to Toby Carvery Broadway today with my mom we both had the carvery. My mom had beef and turkey with cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, potatoes in white sauce, onions with gravy, carrots were a bit hard my mom loved the beef and turkey it was mouthwatering. For pudding she had apple crumble with custard it must have been good because she ate the lot. I had turkey carvery with mash potatoes, roast potatoes, onions, Mac and cheese, Yorkshire pudding. I also had a pudding but I had chocolate fudge cake with custard. The carvery was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering but the pudding wasn't great both me and mom wanted the honeycomb sundae but we were told the ice cream machine was broken and so I had chocolate fudge cake with custard and cookie dough pieces on the side. For me the chocolate fudge cake was lovely and moist but it had way too much chocolate and I couldn't taste any fudge. We both also had unlimited soft drinks that cost £4 each but you can have as many refills as you want. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great, apart from a few kids running around and they were slightly a bit loud watching something on their phone. Me and my mom went outside after our meal and we were greeted by a friendly white and ginger cat which was an amazing end to our visit. Would 1000% recommend Toby carvery because you leave feeling full and very satisfied. Thank you to all the staff for the amazing food and the fantastic customer service. It would be nice if I knew the white and ginger cat's name. Overall the best carvery in Walsall.

We were happy to have booked a table via the website, as it was quite busy when we arrived. Despite the busyness, the staff remained welcoming, friendly and attentive. As the tables were vacated, staff cleared, cleaned and reset them promptly in readiness for the next customers. Food was cooked to perfection and well presented. We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend to others.

One of the best Harvester restaurants we've eaten at. The decor and layout is really modern, clean and looks relatively recently decorated. Very spacious and lots of different places to sit. Food was quick to come out and was yummy.

We’ve been to this harvester multiple times, every single time the service is immaculate. The staff are so friendly and approachable, and always go the extra mile. Special mention to Vikki, for making us feel welcome and to Dan who cooked our food! Five star service👍

Today myself and my daughter randomly decided to go to harvester after some shopping. We was greeted and seated by emma. She was friendly polite and immediately took our orders for our drinks and gave us menus. We opted for the 2 course lunches and refillable drinks. Our salad bowls were brought straight to us them. We're We helped ourselves to the yummy salad cart. I had scampi and chips..scrumptious My.daughter had classic chicken which she said was lovely. We both had treacle pudding which was a good portion with custard. Emma was very attentive to us checking in our food was ok and everything was ok. She was very pleasant and smiley. A credit to your establishment We will definitely be returning again very soon for your breakfasts.

We attended as a party of 3 yesterday evening for dinner and we'll definitely be back. We were served by a lady called Christine (I hope that's right) and we couldn't have asked for better service. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She even managed to tweak the menu to make the most of a voucher code I had. All three of us enjoyed our meal (including a fussy 10 year old) and can't wait to return (and hopefully bring some extra family & friends with us). Thank you Christine and the rest of the team!

We were looked after today by a lovely lady called vicky. She was friendly helpful and professional. Such a pleasant meal with wonderful staff which nothing was a problem. Definitely will visit again soon. So clean and friendly very welcoming.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and food was great. Low on staff so was waiting at an empty bar for a while. Most of the staff were happy and helpful. Other than that I would recommend especially for the breakfast.

My pal picked me up from a nearby garage so I treated him to brekky. Second time I've been here. Staff are friendly and helpful, the food can't be faulted and the free refills for coffee etc just makes this the best value breakfast in town.

Great spoons, large open space with lots of seating, some cozy nooks, outside seating at the front and rear, lovely decor of old movies as it was an old cinema, very clean, toilets are upstairs, disabled downstairs, will be back for food next time as it was a quick visit.

The food was average, but inexpensive. The place was busy, but lacked organisation. There were limited tables available, and they were all dirty, and full of empty glasses. The service was quick, but the staff were untidy and unfriendly. Children were using the gaming machines unchallenged. So, reasonable food, at good prices, on dirty tables, served by unfriendly staff. I would return, but could have been a better experience.

Only been in the aldridge area just over 12 months and this has become my favourite place for a pint. Great selection of beers at very low prices. Always feel relaxed in here and everyone is very friendly and polite

What’s happened to this spoons. Every time I come in lately it takes forever for the food to arrive. 30 mins for a breakfast to arrive and the place was very quiet. Used to come within minutes. No good if you’re in a rush.

Absolutely abysmal, the fries were cold and got less than half a portion (see picture), chicken wrap was stone cold and came with cucumber despite requesting it without. Drinks had no ice (McDonald's drinks are disgusting without ice)! This will be a McDonald's I will never visit again and would advise anyone that wants a somewhat edible McDonald's to go elsewhere!

Every single time I come here, there is something wrong with my order, we are made to wait for ages and things are either missed or incorrect. All staff need to be re-trained.

Very busy McDonald's however following placing our order had to wait as usual in the car park. Not enough spaces for a regular occurring issue like this. No car space for us to park up and wait on the premises. Cars want to leave following receit of their order. However, on coming cars entering, causing driving difficulties. Receiving the milkshakes, the lids were not placed on top properly and therefore created a mess and spilt. Strawberry milkshake was awful and sickening. No Strawberry flavour just thick mush. Not worth it. The fries was dry, cold and soggy. As for the woman walking around issuing the food in the car park she looked lost. Didn't have a clue. Overall won't be attending this Bescot McDonald's ever again. Quality of food is poor. Don't waste your money if you enjoy decent, tasty cooked food. Should have complained really.

Always have to park up for food even when pre ordered through the app. Staff are miserable and don't appear to want to even be there. Food is average at best. Far better McDonald's venues than this one

It tends to be hit and miss here depending on the time of day you visit and which staff are on shift. If you go when it's busy then rhe whole service provision collapses as they cannot deliver at pace and still give quality. Go when it's quieter and the chances are your food will be just fine. Always check your order though as nothing worse than getting home with your order (if not dining in) to find it either wrong, have substantial components to it missing or look like it was thrown together by a three year old.

Staff do not want to talk to you they ignore you. Customer service is very poor. If you go through the drive through they almost always ask you to park up and they'll bring it out but they bring it out when the foods been sitting there ready and it's cold. They just gave me stale fries and a half portion of sauces for 2 chicken nugget share boxes only gave me 4 sauces. I'm not going back to bescot Macdonald they are bringing down the franchise

Absolutely horrid. i ordered a minecraft meal and tell me why they didn’t even add the toy??? i ordered two sauce packets, didn’t get either of them despite it being on the receipt. Fries were old cold and dry. nuggets were mid.

Was ignored despite two staff working behind counter. Not even acknowledged, waited a good few minutes and had to ask if anyone was serving. It was late in the day so only me waiting to me served. Girl who served me seemed very agitated, other Girl on the coffee machine was more polite. Not the best experience when you have come in for a relaxing coffee

Ordered 3 cakes and 2 coffees. The chap who set my takeaway bags up ready to ship out my coffee was on point and was impressed with his efficiency. Left the store and was happy. Got in the car, examined my cakes and nearly turned over in my grave. The caramel rocky road was probably the smallest portion of cake I’ve ever had. It was £3.05 and was no bigger than a one KitKat stick. I went back to the shop to complain and noticed all the rocky road pieces were the same size. It looked like they had cut a normal piece into 4. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Even if I was a billionaire I would be outraged. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!!

Nice place to hang out for an hour. Echoes quite a bit because the ceilings are so high, so avoid after school.

Not the best experience. First time I went in was fine no problems, hospitality was good. I went in today to be served by a member of staff who was not so customer service oriented, and seemed rushed and fed up. No pleasantries by the counter staff. Not all are that bad in there but this particular one " won't mention no names" wasn't very pleasant. Also I asked for minture hot chocolates not festive as they don't do them in mintures but was still charged around £3.50 for a small ! We go to the one in brownhills and they never charge that amount, there great!.. Aldridge Costa you are so very disappointing!..

A nice place but several times now the staff either rush or dawdle and ask odd questions. But they also seem new or drafted in. The more regular staff i knew were spot on Otherwise a nice place, especially when walsall is suffering due to various issues in general, when it comes to retail.

Visited 20th September, staff very poor, didn’t scan points correctly , flat white again poor . I always leave positive reviews when I receive good service and food. This is my first negative review, I find it very disappointing spending extortionate prices for rubbish drinks and service .

I've been here a few times to get coffees and each time I've had a friendly member of staff who always seems to get my coffee order correct. I'm a little picky with my order as I have intolerances so my order is little long but I've not had anyone look or behave like my order was too much for them. (Which I appreciate) The shop is always clean on my visits.

We went there today for afternoon coffee and chat the area is clean and space for wheelchairs and prams and has one toilet and disabled toilet and the woman serving me today was very lovely and smile alway through her service and the coffee was amazing and abit busy the service was quick and the drinks was made straight away and I order coconut mocha it was beautiful

They delivered a little ahead of time knowing we were already there setting up which was great as it gave us that bit more time and even provided us with plates, napkins and cutlery. We were driving into Walsall and looking for a butty/ breakfast shop on the way. Saw this one and pulled in. Wife thought the outside looked well cared for so would probably be safely clean inside. It was. They also deliver through Just Eat and Uber Eats. I had a medium breakfast and my wife had a small. We both had lattes, and my wife wanted a weak one. Food was lovely and hot and well priced to boot. The menu on the wall is well laid out and easy to read. They were off our usual beaten track but would be happy to use again. Thanks all!

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the consistently poor service and unprofessional conduct I’ve experienced at your establishment. On several occasions, I have noticed that staff members remain in the kitchen for extended periods, appearing disengaged from customer service responsibilities. Despite being marketed as a fast-service restaurant, my orders often take 30 to 40 minutes to be prepared, which is far from acceptable. Additionally, I am deeply concerned about the way delivery drivers are treated. The attitude towards them is dismissive and unprofessional, as though they are being done a favor rather than being valued partners in the business. This behavior reflects poorly on the team and the establishment as a whole. The only positive aspect has been the lobby team, who consistently maintain cleanliness and seem to take their roles seriously. However, the overall customer experience is being negatively affected by poor time management and a lack of proper customer service from the rest of the staff. I strongly encourage management to address these issues promptly, and to consider providing staff with appropriate training in customer service, teamwork, and time management. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope to see meaningful improvements in the near future.

Ordered through uber eats driver felt bad how long it took for McDonald’s to make the food and apologise which was nice of him. But we was missing two medium fries from our meal also it was cold which was disappointing. I ordered a Big Mac with no cheese as I’m lactose intolerant and it came with cheese.

the WORST mcdonald’s fast food chain i’ve ever eaten from. made an order on uber eats and they never delivered it. waited 2 hours with 4 separate drivers having to wait horrifically long for the food just for the mcdonald’s to turn around and cancel it. when we phoned originally to ask where the food was as it had been an hour since it was meant to be delivered at this point, the women who answered was rude and short and said they were “just really busy” and then cut the phone call short. i am a heavily pregnant diabetic woman and was left waiting for hours for food that never even arrived. when we called the second time as it had now been 2 hours that’s when the order was conveniently cancelled from their end. disgusting service

Not so fast food . Park up every time we come. 20 mins for an happy meal is a joke . Thought my car tax was going to run out how long you have to wait. Check your order at the window guys . Trust me on this !wrong every time. Might as well serve myself.These guys are like a chocolate teapot at times . Never an apology for issues that arise. Management need replacing or at least re training . Oh yeah you shouldn’t need to microwave food when just brought . This place is good at one thing . They are constantly crap. The only good thing about it is the way out .

Ordered a double cheese burger no pickles came with the sticker on the outside but was only a hamburger on the inside. feeling depressed and malnourished. no stars from me. also took the blooming mick to even get it out of the window

Has to come cause of how badly they messed up. Both windows read my order back to me, the burger boxes upon quick inspection had what I ordered, upon getting home and opening said boxes... double quarter pounder box with a chicken mayo inside. Literal joke and I'm too shattered to drive back. Never again.

Waited in a car parking bay for 30 minutes yesterday, we eventually went in for our food only to find it was sat on the counter forgotten about. Everything was cold, so we asked for fresh food and this time the chips were barely cooked! Seems like they’re concentrating on Uber eats orders before their actual in store customers

I had my hen do here for afternoon tea and all I can say is that it was the most perfect day ever!!! The staff were SO lovely and accommodating (they even let me play One Direction so that’s a bonus). I 100% recommend for anyone who is looking for an intimate celebration!! We hired the whole place out for £150 and then this was taken off our bill at the end. Honestly the best. Thank you to the staff at Cafe Roux for making my day so special. 🫶🏽

A great local cafe with great coffee, a comprehensive menu and a good selection of cakes and sweet treats. The staff are very accommodating to menu requests and take the time to clearly explain thier menu items. We often look forward to returning when in the area. The only negatives are the fact that it closes too early and when booked out for private functions these closings are not publicised, resulting in wasted trips over only to find you are not able to be served.

Book a Prosecco afternoon tea for 13 people for a special occasion! We arrived at 12 and the table was all set up ready for us. We went to order a bottle of Prosecco only to be told that they were busy the night before and haven’t got any Prosecco I asked if they had Prosecco for the tea and was told that they were getting some for us, after 10 mins one of the girls come over n offered us champagne instead which was fine so we just ordered a cocktail while we waited for them to serve the champagne! The cocktails were awful, I honestly don’t think there was one drop of alcohol in them at all, just tasted like float fruity pop! I couple of other people ordered cider only to be served Aldi own cider and changed nearly £5 for a can! After waiting nearly 45 mins we still hadn’t been served the champagne, I went to the counter to ask when the drink would be served only to see that they walked over to Aldi n got the Prosecco which was served instead of the champagne and it was warm! Food arrived after nearly an hour and just seemed to have been rushed and chucked on the plates, some sandwiches were cut tiny like half the size of a finger sandwich a was missing filling’s, the cakes were ok but again looked like they got them from Aldi! When we went to pay, a couple of people were complaining about the food n serve but the girl on the counter didn’t seem interested and said there was nothing she can do as no managers were there! Overall very disappointing visit, not worth the money we paid at all, should of put drink aside knowing that they had a Prosecco afternoon tea the day after the busy night before or stocked up in the morning before we arrived, feels like we were forgot about and was just running to Aldi to get things for our tea

Normally a great place to dine however we had the worst afternoon tea experience. Sandwiches were basic, we weren’t once asked if we were okay or needed a top up of tea. We had to ask the staff for basic stuff like spoons for the tea, cutlery and napkins. My mom’s coffee we had to ask for twice which took 40mins & yet no service with a smile. There was 4 of us in total and I wouldn't say that there was enough given we were expected to spend £30 per head. I asked for additional sandwiches and they were served poorly.

When you walk in you can tell by decor it's trying to be upmarket if that doesn't give you a hint the prices will. Tables and chairs was very nice though. Very expensive for food, quality, and service. We ordered and wasn't told that they was out of breakfast food so plates came out empty and uneven, missing items. One sausage on one plate half a ramekin of beans on the other one with black pudding, no fried slice, no mushrooms, etc... Took a while to get someone's attention to ask even tho there was four servers stood around doing not alot. Was then told they was out of breakfast and that extra bacon had been put on plate. Seem very disorganised as sent worker out to aldi to get ingredients, we was then thinking they could have done that for us too. I won't be returning not even to go for a drink here, as i was planning on. Only had three pulls on, one of which is an ale, fridges where empty even the fizzy soft drinks there was no choice. I think it's aiming at people that just want somewhere to chat and snack, or day drink a bottle of fizz, but there's no choice you can not see anything as it was empty and the servers are more interested in there own conversations than customer service. Think this place is trying to aim at people that would never go here or once they do and receive sub par service will never return. Hence it was empty. Highly dont recommend.

5***** What a fantastic find! My wife LOVES afternoon tea, and we discovered this place. Everything was perfect, from the welcome, to the decor, the friendly, efficient service and the afternoon tea itself. Realising I knew the owner was the icing on the cake haha. Fab guy and brilliant soul singer - who blesses his customers with his vocals each weekend. Will defo be back very soon, will join you for a tune or two mate! Food was lovely & plenty of choice, service was good although we didn't have much interaction with staff other than ordering and delivery of food to table, nice atmosphere, not too busy. Cakes in the cabinet looked amazing!

Toxic takeaway that needs to close. The service was rubbish, food Luke warm, they tried to make you feel awkward with looks of "what are you doing here?" No help as I walked in to a long queue that I should remember to type my car reg in. When I did ask about parking I was told in a stern manner that I will get a fine after twenty minutes parking then she walked off. It is the worst takeaway place I have ever been to and the sooner it closes down the better, then a new business who appreciates your custom can move in.

Ordered a meal, was told to park in waiting area. Was waiting for ages so went back into store where they said I parked in the wrong place so didn’t come out to me then gave me cold food. Another occasion I had to wait for the burger to be made and was told the food is fresh to open the bag to stone cold fries.

Yet again, I've arrived at a Mcdonalds drive thru to be told that orders are not being taken due to system updates. This is a 24/7 advertised Mcdonalds!!! I'm a key worker and need to be able to purchase a warm drink at night. I went to this drive thru just after 01:00hrs this morning. It's Saturday night into Sunday morning. Apart from misleadingly advertising to be a 24/7 Mcdonalds, it's also at a time when people are on a night out, which doesn't make business sense from a financial point of view. A 24hr Mcdonalds is a 24hr McDonald's. I will be taking this up with the Mcdonalds CEO on this occasion. Should I not get the answer and resolution that I'm seeking, I will be reaching out to my MP & regulators.

Went through drive through, the chap started off with "what do you want" no welcome to McDonald's or hello can I take your order! After giving my order, come to next window, didn't say the amount, no please and thank you. So rude. I drove to next window and advised the manager about the service.. Just when you think it can't get any worse, she was miserable, grumpy, and very rude aswell. Definitely not rated for service at all! Avoid, if rather spend my money with Wimpy's😂

I was actually about to give 5stars as staff on duty that day were brilliant and accommodating but it's happened more than twice. When I've specifically asked for plain burgers I've got home and it's either got the source or gherkins with sauce all over. Please pay attention to orders cause lots of people have allergies

DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH OF MC DONALDS I GOT A 60£ parking fine . My wife has a physical disabilities and mental issues, we visited Mc Donald at wiseman at Walsall,It takes my wife 5 min to get out of the car ,then the 10 min for toilet 5 min for food then we ate on the car park another 10 min This isn’t fair as she get the same time as a a fit healthy person, this appears discriminating to disabled persons. No apparent signage in side for additional time and very unclear sign in car park very small signs not sure if was mc don or the other restaurant just confusing SHAME ON YOU ROLAND MCDONALD

First of all, Callum thinks a bit highly of himself doesn't he?? You're not ENTITLED to a "hot drink at night" dude! As for parking fines, the car park has several signs which say you can park for 20 minutes and if you go inside there's a tablet you can enter your car reg on for an hour's free parking! Anyway, note that I'm a Maccies employee (not a crew member) so I get a heavy discount on my meals. That said, after my first ever visit to this store, I won't return. Even with my employee discount I have to pay extra for large drinks. I ordered my breakfast meal via the app, collected at the drive thru, parked up, opened my large hot drink to see it was clearly not a large. Went inside to have it exchanged, barely a word from the manager who served me and no mandatory apology for the error, and I saw her attempt my new drink twice before what I thought was getting it right. Back at the car, there was far too much spray cream on top so the toffee sauce had stuck to the lid and the cream was hanging off it. After stirring it in (my preference...) the drink was still not the required 400ml, I guess hidden with the extra spray cream not expecting me to stir it in! Clearly their machine is faulty as it's supposed to pour the exact amount. I didn't pay as much as regular customers but I do still expect to get what I paid for. Hash browns were too greasy and my McMuffin looked like a chimp had put it together. And it wasn't even busy. But then if managers can't be bothered to provide a good service, you can't expect the crew members to.

Me and my family come to this Asda very often. He prices are good and the staff are kind. They have an Asda rewards app which offers a variety of discounts. The store is large and nicely set out. When you enter first thing there are the clothes then as you gradulaay go through it goes from gifts and household items and then goes to the food. They are always stocked and it is a great place to shop.

I do online grocery all time. And its really not good experience. Sometimes the items are missing. Sometimes i don't receive delivery and on the next day they cancel the order even did not receive any update and on that day i wait for the parcel till 11pm. And this time i missed my 4 to 5 items, i ask to the delivery driver, he mention that i need to call them , after calling they satisfy me but again receive an email refund refused.😬 Female delivery driver always doesn't deliver grocery at doors. They calls to pick the delivery far away from the door.

Very often shop at this branch but this morning was terrible felt like I was in a nightclub the music was blaring out we all like background music but that was ridiculous left half my shopping and went somewhere else

Store manager Kevin has ZERO empathy and could definitely do with some customer service training. Where do they hire these people? Visited the store with elderly parents during a busy ramadan weeked and shopping took a little longer than usual, a week later received a parking fine for staying over by half hour... Spoke to store manager Kevin who, in a round about way, told me to do one. He was completely unhelpful and seemed perfectly happy to lose a loyal customer over such a trivial matter. Cheerio Asda St. Matthews, been a loyal customer for more than a decade just to get treated like that, won't be getting any more money from me or my family. 👍

Went to this place as a last resort because Pit stop round the corner was closed and can honestly say that I won't bother again I ordered a bacon sausage sandwich and a bacon sandwich £5.60 at 11.08am and stood and waited till 11.33am bearing in mind a couple came in 15 minutes after me to eat in and they got there order wrong before me . I get home with it 2 minutes later and the sandwiches were cold plus a bit of cross contamination I mean bits of egg mixed in by my sandwich and some mushroom mixed in with my sandwich over all not a very good experience and seemed to be run by children I'll avoid this place and never go back !!

I dont usually leave reviews, but I just had to this time! The food was absolutely lush...its very rare I find a good cafe, where the breakfasts ain't full of grease or undercooked ect. But I ordered from here today for the first time and it's amazing. The breakfast was cooked perfectly and eventhough its abit of a distance away from me the food was still hot. All I would suggest is an option to have your bread buttered and sauce on your sandwich on just eat! And the gentlemen that brought it was super nice, was nice to see a friendly face! 1000% recommend it!

Had Sunday Lunch which was excellent. Decided to try the Breakfast Sandwiches and Cold Sandwiches. These were really nice, lots of filling nice fresh bread. Will definitely order again.

I have been using Crossroads cafe for over 2 years now and the customer service is outstanding, They recently had my order wrong but the staff went out there way to apologise and deliver me a free breakfast and a drink, I thought it was a very nice gesture, my delivery is always on time and food is always 10/10 and piping hot.

Me and my girlfriend order from Cross Roads atleast twice a month, good for money, really friendly staff, good food! On occasion had a few order mistakes, but aslong as you call and let them know they rectify very quickly! Definitely recommend!

Rubbish! Ordered a large breakfast and paid for 2 hash browns but didn't even get 1! The sausage tasted like it was out of a tin and as for the ' large breakfast'....it was more like a child's portion! 👎

I have visited crossroads cafe on many occasions with my husband and have to say they are very welcoming and their food is great highly recommend to use this cafe. Very friendly staff. Will be using you again :D

Reasonably priced coffee, friendly staff, and a peaceful, laid back atmosphere, despite it being attached to a co-op in the town centre. An ideal place to study, read, or talk, due to the comfy sofas (with countless outlets) and high quality coffee - one of the best coffee shops in the town.

The food is lovely , l used to come here a lot when l was at university 3years ago.I stopped because l noticed the lady serving used the same gloves, on the till, touch food , serve to tables, pushed chairs but never changed her gloves so l stopped.I came back today and the lady on the till has had the same blue gloves, serves to tables , on the till, served my Becon roll with the same gloves and that’s very wrong , it’s a nice place to relax and have a drink but that really puts me off.

Visit Cafe regularly when taking elderly relatives shopping and spend £40+ each visit. Staff really friendly especially Louise and food nice. However today in the absence of manager and Louise food was below standard. Ordered fish & chips, fish was almost none existent and batter was inedible. Chips were hard, peas and tartar sauce hardly worth adding. Staff member not interested

Had a fish and chips here. Absolutely disgraceful. The fish was full of grease and whatever fish was in the batter was like rubber.

My daughter and I often have a coffee and a muffin here and it's always really nice. The menu has changed and we popped in for lunch, toasties and a side of fries and hash brown bites. The seasoned fries were lovely. The staff are all pleasant and polite, lovely coffee

I ordered two matchas, onw vanilla and one strawberry and it was absolutely delicious. It wasnt too expensive too, around £4 for one and the size was quite good. I would definitely go back as it was incredibly tasty and addictive

A hidden gem, if you love good simple food and friendly staff, this is perfect. Always very busy & has a large regular customer base. No matter how busy the staff are, they always have a friendly smile and welcome. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate, well worth a visit. Brilliant breakfasts & lunches. Go early as they usually close right after the lunchtime rush.

A true diamond in the rough! 1st time I walked in here I didn't expect a lot but it is now the only cafe I will use. Its a lot bigger inside than it looks and the staff here are wonderful. So welcoming and friendly. The food is out of this world. Ive never even had a burnt corner of toast, everything is always cooked perfectly. My only negative is that it is pretty cold inside, though this will be a blessing in the summer. You won't be sorry for coming here I promise!

There was so little salad in the box we could see the box bottom through the sparce lettuce! There was one slice of tomato! The bread was stale on the foot long sub. They said they were too busy to fill the salad boxes and blames the stale bread on being toasted which it was not. No refund given! Do not go there! Too expensive for a couple of lettuce leaves!

I had food today, food was not hot because she didn’t warmed food properly. Took too long to make one sandwich and when i asked her to spread chicken tikka properly she denied and put sauces only in middle not all over after that when bread is broken she said that because you asked sauce that is why it happened. I will say very poor service i will never go again in that subway.

Disgusting!!! Delivered from just eat. None of the toppings were on this it was bread with barbecue sauce and very cold pieces of chicken no cheese this was meant to be a pizza. Freezing cold pizza My sons was a steak, wrong cheese on his and not toasted. Wouldn’t feed this to my dog! £14.38 and all I got to eat was a bag of walkers crisps and a Robinson’s drink. Not forgetting a massive lesson NOT to EVER order from here. No phone number for the store?? Just a dead phone line. Well well well.

Shocking. The bare minimum required to work behind the counter, anywhere in England, is you need to be able to converse in English. I ordered via the app for it to be ready when I got there. I had to prompt them to make the food, the lady then made a 12" sub with Tuna, when I'd ordered a 6" of something else, so she put that in the bin. The language barrier was so bad, I had to just keep showing her my order on my phone. Ok, we're getting somewhere...then on my order, I'd added extra Salami which seemed too much trouble. I said I wanted it on there as I'd paid for it, and she offered to make a fresh sub. What? Just put the extra salami on, it's pretty easy. I ended up without the extra that I'd paid for. It got to the point where I had to say, "Give me my food now, it's already paid for", and just leave. Are these Subways franchise owned? If so, it's time for an ownership change, because this place is appallingly bad. To add, the sub was also as flat as a pancake. Oh, and one of the coolers looked like it had broken down, there was spanners, scredrivers, all sorts spread all around the floor. I'd rather eat Dandelions from the field than set foot in here again.

Order arrived, chicken poor quality, very gritty and lettuce brown and soggy. Literally had to throw most of it away :( cheese bites cold and soggy.

Ordered a full English breakfast and mug of tea. The meal was cooked fresh and was piping hot when it was served. The cafe was quiet at the time I arrived. The staff were friendly and got on with the job in hand. Good value as I paid £6 for a medium size hot breakfast. The place could do with some new flooring to spruce the place up. The decor was in graffiti style art. Which appeals to the younger crowd.

The best full English breakfast in Walsall! 3 sausage, 3 bacon, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread, 2 toast, and a cup of tea for £6. Great quality food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended 👌

Amazing little cafe, very friendly staff. Don't go as much as I'd like due to work commitments on the weekend but every time we have been it never disappoints. Wife works as a nurse so nothing better after a night shift than a large chuckery breakfast. 10/10 returning customers.

Worse morrison to eat at. I went in for lunch with the kids after shopping and I had to get my own wipes from the car to clean the table and chairs. Food came after 25 minutes and was dry, burger meat was burnt , pie was hard and tasteless and so on. Spent £22 wasted as even the kids spat they food out

Miserable server, dirty broken coffee station. Food was presented nicely but didn't sit well in my stomach.

Tables filthy, coffee machine beyond filthy, sent the breakfast back as mushrooms were raw, beans dried up and stone cold, bacon was freezing cold and was undercooked. Really poor and will not be returning!

Been in cafe today. Staff nice and pleasant. Ordered a bowl of chips to go with sandwich.i waited over 10 mins to be given a bowl of brown chips that looked and tasted as though they were the dregs. Wouldn't complain as I wanted them with my sandwich and didn't want to wait any longer. Why do I always seem to get soggy stuff??? They must see me coming!!!

I use Best Butties because I'm assured of a cheery greeting from all the very friendly staff. The food is good and competitively priced too. I always enjoy my visit whether alone or with my friends.

Stopped off here for a bite to eat whilst out doing my errands, I have to say that you certainly get a lot for your money. Great food and equally great service. Nice little traditional cafe on the main road but still very quiet inside. Great atmosphere,and the food is delicious. Served by lovely,caring people. Caters for all diets too!

Staff were very welcoming inside the café and in the food trailer located just outside. The food was amazing, especially the chicken curry from the food trailer, which was very flavoursome. The prices of the items were also very reasonable. I would 100% recommend trying out the café and the trailer outside for some great food!

Came in about half an hour ago and to be fair I've got served with 10 minutes with me and my wife food was delicious. Service with a smile can't fall in the chilli bacon and sausage and Teresa love the chicken tika baguette definitely coming back again to try the food outside on the Trailer.
