Amazing sandwiches: huge portions, great range of interesting fillings, delicious light bread. We both said the best sandwiches we have ever eaten! We were just passing by and hungry - this was a lovely surprise 😊

I stumbled across The Pantry several months ago and it fast became my favourite bakery in the local area ( it seems many others would agree with me, too, as it's always packed on a Saturday morning). The prices are reasonable and the quality/freshness of the pastries and bread is on a par with somewhere you would probably only find in France. Sampled their cheesecake on one occasion too, and it was delicious. Long may this establishment prosper.

Such a lovely spot, convenient for the train station. Delicious coffee. An excellent selection of pastries and savouries - including a mutton curry pie to die for either hot or cold. The al fresco seating area gets the sun as the morning progresses and for the rest of the day.

Amazing bakery with a good choice of pastries & breads all made on the premises. Nice coffee. The Pain au Chocolat is the best I've eaten. Highly recommended.

Sat outside with a delicious sandwich and great coffee. The ingredients were fresh and tasty but what stole the show was the bread. The bread for sale looked amazing and the cakes also looked stunning.

I visited today and had the salt beef special. It came on a gigantic ciabatta cut in half with loads of beef, lettuce, mustard mayo and pickles. It was unbelievable and one of the best sarnies I have had in ages.

The quality of the food and the service are as good as they have always been but the portion sizes have shrunk to the point that I probably won't bother again. I used to have to eat a "Fat Man" bap with a break in between, now I need something else to eat as I am still hungry!

Food is amazing it's always busy friendly staff if they opened longer and on Sundays they would make a fortune it's that good.

We tried the "Big Man Mixed Meat Bap" at this sandwich spot, and man, it was insanely tasty! The roast pork, bacon, sausage, stuffing, and crackling combo was like a flavor explosion. Seriously, these were the best baps ever – pure yumminess!

The Piggery is an absolute delight. The food is affordable, quick, and exceptionally filling. If you go for lunch here, you may not need to have dinner! There are various options available, and the staff are absolutely delightful. If you are nearby, The Piggery is definitely worth a visit. Pictured is the standard Hog Roast Bap, but there are plenty other options to choose from, a lot of them much more adventurous.

Always great service whenever I visit. There was a small queue outside, but the wait is SO worth it. I haven't tried all the menu, but every time I go, I always go for the meal deal. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had a nice breakfast at this place. The place is one of the best in Worthing for having a coffee and a meal. The place is very clean, looking lovely with a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and eager to help but a bit inexperienced, a bit of training would definitely improve the place. The food is good but a bit too greasy for my taste, cutting down the lipids and adding a bit more fibre on the plate would definitely help. I still enjoyed it and considered it delicious. I am definitely recommending this place and we are looking forward to visit again

Been meaning to try here for ages as it always looks so inviting from the outside, with fresh flowers and seasonal decorations. The breakfasts did not disappoint. Everything was well-cooked and presented. A decent coffee was also included in the price. Will definitely return to this lovely little local cafe.

If I opened a cafe, this is how I would have it. It was atmospheric. Warm, welcoming and not too noisy. The food was delicious, I had the big breakfast and the price was reasonable for the amount of food and the fact that it came with a tea (a nice tea, I would guess a twinings breakfast or similar) the staff provided our slightly restless children with some paper and crayons which we all appreciated. I rarely give such high ratings for a cafe but even the kids menu impressed us. My children both got a picky lunch and it went down very well, and they are quite fussy. I almost don't want to reccomend in case it fills up to much for me to enjoy getting a table again. But I'll reccomend it anyway. Definitely not pretentious or cheap quality.

1st time visited this cafe since they have changed ownership, have driven pass it and it's always full of diners, and always a good sign. This place is nicely decorated and furnished, and it is spotlessly clean. Both waitress and chef were very friendly, polite and professional, made our visit a very enjoyable experience with our dog. Food were amazing, beautiful presented, big portion, freshly cooked to perfection, and pricing are very reasonable, most places the tea or coffee are not included, but here drinks are included in the 3 breakfast items on the menu. Clearly a lot of good quality ingredients being used, so I would highly recommended this place, it has quality and quantity at decent prices. It is 1 of the BEST in Worthing. Also no parking restrictions between 11am to 2pm on the side road nearby.

Slow to take order considering it wasn't busy at all and slow to receive my food in the end I had to ask to have my food to go. Dirty grill you can taste and see from the bacon over priced for what it is!

Absolutely love our local café @risecafeeastworthing always super friendly and Maarii can't wait to play with the ducks the provide, so much so we call it the ducks café! Today as we do homeschooling she wanted to take her world map. She was happy but I'm so grateful they way they brought over a plane and tiger. Fully engaging with her about where things could go. Truly take a village and again. Big thx to all the staff.

This place is vile! Both myself and my colleague went to this place for lunch, we both tucked in to our ham salad baguette only to find a pubic hair in one of them! As if that wasn't bad enough we then both found rat droppings in both the fruit danish and in my colleagues cinnamon danish! Do not use this disgusting bakery.

We ordered take away coffees yesterday, first time we’ve been here and they were absolutely delicious!! Lots of lovely cakes on offer which I’m sure we will be back to try. The service was very friendly too. Thank you, Very pleased coffee snob 😊

Thought I’d treat myself to a Hot Salt beef toasted sandwich and was excited until I got home and looked at it, £6.50 for a tiny amount of filling plus honey mustard couldn’t taste it what a complete waste of money didn’t taste of much doughy bread and cheese won’t bother again.

almond pan au chocolat knocked my socks off! flaky, yet crunchy, yet sticky and chewy (and vegan if you care about such things). I saw a lot of variety in their display case, sweet and savoury. Standard ham and cheese croissants etc. available but also a lot of plant based food. good coffee 👍

We love going there, the staff is just so lovely and the food is yummy! I highly recommend the raspberry tart and the filled choux, such a treat!

Visited this place December of 2024. Brunch was enjoyable overall, with a good selection and pleasant atmosphere. However, the pancakes were a bit disappointing as it's lacking the fluffiness and flavor I was hoping for. On the upside, I tried blood sausage for the first time, and it was an interesting experience! Not for everyone, but worth trying at least once.

Was looking for indie coffee shop and they delivered. Loved their Arundel shop so tried this one, lovely friendly staff, delicious coffee. We were able to sit outside and the other customers were friendly too 👍 highly recommend 😀

Mum and I came here for breakfast. We got here early and it was already busy but, because there is plenty of seating split between upstairs indoor, downstairs in the covered terrace area and outside (almost on the beach!) it didn't feel busy. My breakfast was lovely. Yes ..it's expensive compared with other venues, but I knew to expect it when I visited, and eating your breakfast with a sea view is something a bit special. Service was great - we didn't have to wait long for our food. Mum has been visiting here for years and it was really nice to see her being acknowledged by the lovely lady who served us.

Visited Sea Lane Café today for the first time and was highly impressed with the variety of cakes and selection of vegetarian cakes as well. I had the Lemon Meringue cake which was delicious. Highly recommended place to stop for a coffee & cake.

Very popular place, amazing sea front location and views, free parking too. Due to it's popularity it's very busy and noisey. The food is absolutely lovely so leave plenty of time for your visit .

Been coming coming here on and off for 20 years. The food quality has usually been good and reasonable prices. However, since expanding the seating area the prices are ridiculous. Even Basic British dishes such as Ham, egg & Chips which is £14.50p, that a ludicrous price for this dish. The two of us just popped in for afternoon tea and actually had two teas and two Teacakes, £11.70. It wasn't that busy. The tea arrived but after another 5 min I had to go and ask for the teacakes and was told they are on the way. Couple of minutes later they arrived, both were charcoal grilled, we ate the bottom parts but took the the rest back and asked for a refund. £3 each for a teacake is crazy and then poor service and burnt offerings. A teacake only needs lightly toasting.The bit that really gets me is that someone toasted these to death and then couldn't be bothered to redo them. Also you have to really ask the price of some things as they are not displayed. Knowing how this was a few years ago it is now just an over price café.

Mash up with my daughter and her family at sea Lane café this afternoon and enjoyed drinks and their lovely cakes in their new extension. Food there is wonderful and reasonably priced. The Sun streaming through the windows and was lovely, but unfortunately it blinded me as I was sitting right in the path. Maybe a blind For when the sun is low in the sky; it would be a useful addition!

Great find whilst we were travelling home. Only had a coffee but the food and cakes looked amazing. Efficient friendly service at reasonable prices, plus the amazing view. Hopefully we will return to check out more of the menu.

Lovely cafe on the beach, popular with locals. Free parking, easy walking along the promenade to Worthing and beyond if you want to go that far. We had lunch with a hot drink, just under £30 for the both of us. Delicious food and nice coffee xx

Had an excellent lunch today a jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise and a Thai beef salad! Both were amazingly delicious and the service we have always found to be very enjoyable 🙌 also very dog friendly 👍

It's a great place to stop for a quick break on a beach walk. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was great and the view...well, I'm sure you have an idea about it. 🙃

Stopped here for fish and chips after a Sunday evening walk. When most places would be closed at this time, it was just wonderful that they were still happily serving summer evening walkers (they close at 8pm by the way). The food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. The chips were marvelously crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle -just perfect. I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant. That said I did not dine inside so cannot really comment on the atmosphere.

I parked behind the cafe ,had a coffee and then walked with my dog to the right on a beautifully trimmed grass way with the beach on myleft ,my dog running free meeting lots of other people with dogs .along the way on the beach are some beautiful sculptures made in rocks and stones . The other way is just as brilliant and it's a dog friendly place,big field's for picnics and games . Back to the cafe for a sandwich, loverly.

A gem of a cafe. Very long established right on the beach at Ferring. It's slightly out of the way but well known. Great menu with vegan construct your own menu breakfasts as well as most normal cafe options. Well priced with a tea at 1.90 and a pot of tea for one at 2.60! It has loads of tables outside. Lots of parking space. Very well used by dog walkers and dog friendly for well behaved dogs (which obey their dog rules). Quite a few tables inside were reserved and have nice sea views. It would be worth booking if there is a group of you and you want a nice table inside. I spent a morning there whilst having my car serviced. There were a few power points where you could charge your laptop and good WiFi.

This place is a really nice cafe right behind the beach. Food is nice and it's dog friendly so if your walking the dogs along the beach from Worthing it's a nice destination to head to for cake and coffee before heading back. A little more difficult to get to by road (large car park so a nice destination for a ride out as well) but you may need sat nav to find it!. Really nice seating area outside with plenty of benches also has indoor seating and the facilities are clean and tidy.

Great food, cafe is right by the beach and there is covered outside area if inside is full. Main problem for us ( I took my 97 year old father for a birthday treat ) was the access and toilet facilities. The car park was pebbled and my father found it difficult to use his walker until he could reach the concreted ramp. The space between tables was limited and as a dog friendly cafe, it was difficult to make his way between them! Was disappointed in the toilet facilities because there were just two toilets, neither was suitable for Dad's walker ( wheelchairs would have really struggled ). A ramp was put down for Dad to get into the cafe, but it would make sense for it to be there permanently. Somebody pointed out that there were public toilets on the other side of the car park, but for disabled customers of the cafe they are too far away. If you don't like or are afraid of dogs, then this is not the place for you. A shame because the food ( we both had fish and chips ) was fantastic!

I was disappointed with my experience from beginning to end.  Improved staff training is needed, both in the kitchen and in the front-of-house. While the waitress was pleasant, her lack of communication skills and unfamiliarity with the Toby website, the Toby app, and Toby Wi-Fi were concerning.  Her continued response of "I don't know, I don't use it" was unhelpful, especially as I needed this information to address a customer issue and had no mobile data. She made no attempt to find out the information herself, and it took another employee who overheard some minutes & hassle later to resolve the query. The vegetarian breakfast was, unfortunately, one of the worst I have ever had. The sausages were soft, like theyd been microwaved, bland, and tasted bitter. The eggs were overcooked and lacked flavour, suggesting they may have come from caged hens. The beans were flavourless and watery, and the tinned tomatoes were more like puree, severely lacking flavour and appearing diluted. The mushrooms and hash browns were the only acceptable elements. Whilst one may argue that this is a good value breakfast, can it be said that it's still good value if the food mainly tastes awful, which this did? Either caused by extremely substandard ingredients or by being meddled with in the kitchen by inexperienced kitchen staff to improve profit, either way I wished that I'd kept my money in my pocket. My other option was Beefeater in Arundel which I wish that I went to instead, as this Worthing Toby was a truly wasted & costly effort to get to. Had a very nice catchup with my brother. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient Food very nice as you would expect. It was very busy and tables all taken for each setting. Personally would have liked to be able to relax there all day but not an option. They’ve got to meet expenses. Thanks for your hospitality x

We were pleased to be able to book a convenient slot in advance. Our server Tracy was incredibly helpful and really made the experience positive from start to finish. Helped us through the menu, as we were unfamiliar and made sure everything was just as we wanted. Good hot food with lots of choice, excellent value for money and exceptional service. Nice and easy for our family of five. Thank you Tracy!

Booked a table for 18:10, but table not ready until 18:30. Had the salmon and dill wellington, which was all pastry and hardly any fish. The little fish that was in there was extremely salty. Veg was good, luckily. Restaurant was extremely warm inside. Glad I had a refillable drink. Waitress was extremely good though. Very good service despite clearly having too many table to deal with.

Normally really enjoy our visit to Toby Carvery Worthing but this time was not too good. With the restaurant being so busy, it was overwhelmingly hot and despite having AC next to us, it wasn’t being used. When using the soda machine, it had no carbonation and I mentioned this to a member of staff who said they would check the gas. Went back shortly after for another refill but it still wasn’t fizzy. Food was really enjoyable as always though.

Like most Toby's the restaurant itself was very welcoming. Considering it was a Tuesday lunchtime I was pleased to see them doing good trade. The food was fabulous and really good value. The Yorkshires had to be seen to be believed. We were attended to by Nicole, whose customer service skills are perfect. A beautiful lady. Toby have a brilliant set menu where you have a carvery and you can choose a starter and/or pudding. But you are not committed to this. If you are too full for pudding, that is fine. It's as good as value set menu as you will find. My wife dished herself too much food, Nicole provided a takeaway box. She provided two spoons with my pudding so my wife could have a share. And two other customers ordered coffee but changed their order. Rather than the coffee go to waste, Nicole offered them to us. She is exactly the person you want assisting you. I hope every Toby has their own Nicole. She is a credit to her employers.

The waitress who served us, I believe her name was Esme, with the pink hair, very lovely, great standard of service even though it was very busy. Checked we were happy throughout. Thanks you are a queen :)

I had a great experience at this bistro! I ordered the bacon wrap, which was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. The mango pineapple smoothie was incredibly fresh and refreshing, a perfect combo with the wrap. Great food and a lovely atmosphere—highly recommend!

We had a private party to cater for and turned to bungaroosh for help! The team created a fantastic range of delicious nibbles and included a range for those with dietary needs. Everyone absolutely loved the food at our party so a massive thank you to bungaroosh!

This is such a hidden gem! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food tastes as good as it looks like on the photos and is cheap for such quality. There is an ‘boutique’ tea section I fell in love with. There are so many different items on the menu I’d like to come back and try especially Lebanese themed items! The only thing is it is a bit dark inside inside but maybe that’s just my preference.

Went for Sunday brunch after a slow start. Had 2 vegan breakfasts, one of which was gluten free. The galette and the babaganoush were the highlights, but it was all delicious! And as always the main requirement along with vegan and gluten free… Bungaroosh is dog friendly!!!

We had a delightful visit to Bungaroosh! Right from the moment we stepped into the cafe, Nina welcomed us warmly. We came in for breakfast, and although our kids, who can be quite picky, were initially disappointed to learn that fries were only available during lunch, Nina spoke with the kitchen staff and managed to get some for them, which made their day. The food was not only fresh but also deliciously prepared and presented. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're back in Worthing. A big thank you to the team for starting our day off on such a happy note!

The food here is pretty good. But don't go unless you have A LOT of time. We went twice and it took nearly 40 minutes for a salad and a sandwich to arrive, and we were the only people there. Today, one of went back and it took an hour for a sandwich to arrive (despite being told it would be 20 min). Also, warning: the summer peach ice tea is syrupy sweet (so much so that it was undrinkable to me). I'd say for the service and the price, the food isn't really worth it.

I came here with my family while waiting for my car to be serviced on 5th September. We were hungry and decided to try this place. Well we were not disappointed. The food was really good and well presented. The young lady that served us was so friendly and lovely too. It really does make a difference when you feel welcomed. I recommend you visit. The lamb wrap and chips were delicious.

A regular visitor to this Toby and as always a first class experience from the quality of the food to the first class service. A special mention to Karen who took my order, who was friendly, helpful and did a great job.

Really nice place to go for a roast. Weekdays are cheaper than weekends but also changes on the offer of meats with weekends having lamb and all other days just pork, gammon, turkey and beef. A nice selection of vegetables and really good Yorkshire puddings. You can choose refill soft drinks or anything else from the menu. Other meals are available to order if you don't want the roast. They also have an app which offers a fidelity program and some discounts. Worth to check and visit.

Visited the Toby Carvery on a Friday evening around half 8 - it was clear they had just finished a busy rush, so we weren’t expecting to be seated and served so quickly. Credit to the team for their attentiveness. Claire our server was extremely friendly, kind and speedy. Food was good, hot, fully stocked and plentiful. No complaints - thank you!

The lady that greeted us as we walked in is the very definition of great customer service. Even had the food been appalling I would have rated this restaurant highly because of her infectious positivity. As it was the food was fine, your typical breakfast fare with the only gripe being the eggs could do with refreshing a little more often but in all fairness it can’t be easy predicting demand!

Mum loves a carvery , thought we would give this place a go , sadly this place just feels unloved , dirty and worn out , food ok Nice staff , good value .

This could actually offer the greatest brunch in Worthing. Certainly the best we've tried. Friendly staff, great service, awesome food. I can't believe we haven't visited this place until now. We shall return.

One of the best breakfasts / brunch I've had this year , these eggs was cooked perfectly , perfect with golden runny egg yolks , yumma ... vegetarian and vegans options and also serves alcohol for those hot sunny afternoons , service was great , we asked for extra Tabasco which was not a problem and dog friendly too

Just popped in on a very rainy day , what a lovely place for a lunch, staff very friendly and not pushy. On my own which didn’t seem to matter and was able to sit down and order. Decided to have the Italian eggs (special of the day) and a bottle of cider (Kent curious cider) probably the best cider I’ve had in a long time. Not quite sure whether the meal was a sup or stew but is was delicious.

Love love love this place! The food is unbelievable, the staff are so friendly and the coffee is so fantastic. I always bring friends here because there’s something on the menu for everyone. Had the Brioche French Toast today and my friend had the Nourish Bowl with roasted goats cheese (this massively undersells both dishes as there was so much more to them - see photo). Both dishes were so well balanced and delicious. The brioche french toast is easily one of the best things I’ve eaten in Worthing. My poor friend had to hear me gush about how incredible it was the entire time we were eating 😅. Will be back for sure and no doubt, soon 🙌🏾🤩

Malt Café is an absolute gem! We came for A-Levels celebration results breakfast and it was incredible, delicious, hearty, and full of flavour. Every bite felt like a true taste of Worthing and sea breeze. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our waiter, the Service Manager was outstanding: super friendly, charismatic, considerate and polite. A memorable experience that’s definitely worth having. Highly recommended! 💯

Really lovely little cafe with staff who are not only super pleasant and attentive but also efficient.. Our breakfasts were delicious. The place began to fill up and was nicely humming with people chatting but not actually noisy. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited this morning with my husband and had such a lovely welcome. Excellent gluten and dairy free options, I went for the banana pancakes which were divine 😍😍😍. A great place to eat, friendly team with good knowledge of food allergies and great music. Good vibes all around 💚

We had a great time when we visited today. We had a couple of breakfasts and some pancakes. The service was extremely good and was the food. We would definitely come again.

Went today for some breakfast, it took about twenty minutes for someone to even talk our order. Food arrived first before drinks (two coffees and mimosas) and my mini breakfast was cold. About ten minutes later we had finished food and then our drinks came, we asked for the bill and takeaway cups but they took ages to come. The waitresses were really lovely and apologetic just wish the food and service was a bit quicker/ better. The eggs benedict and drinks were lovely though

We visited the restaurant last weekend and overall had a good experience. The food was tasty and the staff were lovely and friendly throughout. The only downside was that my husband had ordered a double burger but it arrived with just one patty. Although a second patty was eventually brought out, he’d already finished the rest of the burger by then. While we appreciate that the issue was acknowledged and corrected, we felt it would have been more appropriate to replace the whole burger. That said, the atmosphere and service were great and we’d still consider coming back.

Four of us called in for an evening meal while in the area. We saw there were mixed reviews but decided to give this lovely place a try - we were pleased we did! Our two vegetarian hallumi and mushroom burgers were delicious, a good portion chicken salad and a good chili. The chips are served separately, for reference - a small portion is enough for one person, a large portion is enough for three! The staff were attentive and polite. A good atmosphere and clean toilets. Definitely recommend when in the area!

Lovely morning trip here with my 3 year old today. Delicious breakfast and the babyccino went down well. Lloyd was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be back.

Great food and service. Eggs Royale was absolutely perfect which was prepared by Henry so I am told and I was served by Lucy, absolute five star experience from both of them and would have no hesitation in recommending this place for breakfast, coffee was also really nice

Johnny's is beautiful on the interior as well as exterior. My sister and I had a full Englisg breakfast and a mini breakfast. Lucy took our order and was very attentive and charming throughout. The breakfast was sensational especially the had browns and the giant mushroom. Highly recommended.

A small, typical café from a popular chain. Good coffee, decent pastries. The service is fine. The interior is cozy, though a bit tight, with a nice outdoor seating area.

Called in on Saturday for a coffee and cake. We asked for a vegan cake for myself due to been intolerant and allergic to some foods. They could only offer me a tea cake. When our drinks arrived and cake for the grandchildren, my daughter found out that the syrup was missing from her drink. She went back to ask for some to be added, which it was but the member of staff that served her never said one word at all, not even a sorry. Both outside and in looked scruffy and very worn out.

Always friendly, happy staff. Good service. It's just been refurbished and looks cleaner and brighter than before. The only down side is it looks like any modern Costa Coffee Shop. Still, the staff are great.

Staff were pretty rude when they got my order wrong, I appreciate it's at the end of the day but they should have double checked and been nicer about it rather than handling it rudely. I won't go back personally

This is the place I visit every morning before I go to work, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's always warm and smells amazing. There plenty of diffrent seats available such as sofas and chairs, it's a great place to visit and bring friends or family. Great selection of diffrent coffee and food. Highly recommended if you're in the area and are feeling like a coffee and a snack.

Reasonable cafe with freshly cooked food. The staff were good and service was fast. The menu is basic, but still a good selection on offer. There is limited parking outside the cafe. Toilets are available for customers to use. Prices are moderate, but compared to other cafes in the area reasonably priced.

I forgot to ask for my eggs scrambles (as I don’t like egg whites unless scrambles) and the gentleman behind the counter just scrambled me some at no extra charge. Have been visiting this restaurant since it first opened about 35 years ago, but tonight ordered a McFlurry there which we have not done for years. Absolute rip off. The cup wasn’t even half full. Arundel McDonalds gives at least 50% more for the same money. Service was lousy as well as all they were interested in was doing the order and handing out the food to the Uber Rats drivers!

Extremely clean restaurant with speedy service. Wireless chargers actually work, layout is good making it easy to navigate around the place.

Best buttermilk pancakes ever!! So fluffy and delicious. Yum!! Good value as so nice! Clean and bright space. Seemed to be focussed towards younger families which was fine but not peaceful if that's what you are looking for. Visited on a Saturday morning and the cafe was bustling with park runners and families which gave a good vibe. Dogs allowed. Cafe is combined with a small shop.

First visit and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is. Interesting items for sale and the food was good and plentiful. Good choice of dishes and reasonable prices, coupled with friendly, efficient service, makes this a a very nice place to eat or just grab a tea or coffee etc. They cater for families with a large area of chalk painted wall and coloured chalks for children to try their drawing. Dogs are also welcome and catered for. We visited for our granddaughter's birthday brunch and had a very enjoyable time. They had no problem catering for the 10 of us who were able to make it. We didn't feel cramped at all, as tables are not all crammed in to maximise seating over enjoyment. The portions were generous and several of us couldn't finish our meals but it was a first visit for most of us. There's quite a bit of flexibility in the meal choices and a good range of drinks on offer too. There was only one toilet, which could be an issue when busier and there was a bit of waiting for it to be free. It is designed for multi uses, including disabled people and baby changing. I found it a bit echoey, which makes it hard for me to filter out background noise but is probably not an issue for the majority. There are plenty of places like that, I have discovered as I've got older. Access for disabled people including wheelchair users is very good. I didn't need to use my chair but it wouldn't have been a problem had I needed to. All in all we had a very enjoyable visit. I forgot to take photos of our meals. Oops.

Went here for breakfast on Monday and I had LD Breakfast and the wife had Smoked salmon and avocado on toast. OMG this was the best breakfast I have had for years, yes years! High quality produce, perfectly cooked and generous portions. Had coffee and cake previously which was also good, but the breakfast was miles better than others close by. I was so impressed I told the chef as it was that good! Staff were also very attentive and nice to talk to. Well done to all

I had a sunset smoothie with smoked salmon on toast, it was absolutely perfect and myself and my partner both shared our food/drink as it was so good! Service was quick and friendly. Felt comfortable alongside having plenty of dogs to be in awe of. Lovely place :)

Tried latte coffee and loved the way it was light single shot coffee and good milk in it. The service was so impressive - the lady at counter served with amazing smile and warm words. Loved my experience here as a tourist.

Went here after Starbucks didnt have what i wanted and havent looked back been there three times with my best mate and once with my dogs. Staff are really friendly, and remember you which is amazing. Dogs welcome and they even have a two item doggy menu which is massively value for money just like the rest of the food there . Its a great place to go for a nice quick lunch or bite to eat and varied menu of drinks available too but their coffee is lush

Lovely staff, friendly and accommodating to my request. Food was hot, tasty and fresh. Ordered toasties and they came with a side salad that was really fresh and nicely presented. Great price for all food too. Will definitely be back!

A group of ten of us popped in on the 15th June after finishing the 3k walk for cancer research, for coffee and a bite to eat, I have got to say the service was first class, it was efficient, friendly and a very relaxing place. I would definitely recommend it if anyone is looking for a good place to meet up with friends or family

I am a regular visitor to esquire friendly staff I am not rushed to finish my coffee one point I will make Costa Coffee will also bring your coffee to your table cappuccino cost only 10p more at £3.90

They are ok at doing shakes and frappes but the coffee is very average at best. My oat cappuccino was well over frothed and when I returned to ask if this was normal for them they confirmed that this was the case for oat milk. I make my own coffee in a dual boiler at home with oat milk all the time and the only time milk becomes a bubble bath is when it’s been textured poorly. It would have been ok if they’d accepted this and made a new one but this wasn’t the case. Very disappointing, won’t be returning.

The hot chocolate drink with whipped cream on top was so far the best drink I have had since roaming around cafés and garden centres. However, the croissant was a disappointment here; small and insubstantial. Staff should not wait for customers to call them just to clean the table. And geez, do not spray cleaning liquid in front of the customer recklessly. They really need further training in hospitality service. It is 10 in the morning, but the toilet smells and is dirty. The toilet rolls are placed on the toilet floor. Very unsanitary. Management/Supervisors should really check these simple tasks.

Terrible place for dinning in, they close 3 hours early the chairs and tables. Unfriendly staff with an attitude, they openly said they don't care when you ask them. I wish somebody cares as you are ruining the brand's name. Supervisor name: Sophie, staff Niamh, the staff that do not care.

I got a tiramisu cream ice oat shaken espresso but it taste bitter, it’s just doesn’t taste right, I get this almost everyday but this time i couldn’t even drink it, so I put £6 in the bin, the owner should get proper stuff to work there not someone who doesn’t know how to make coffee

Served us two terrible flat whites!! No taste changed for a tea and cappuccino supervisor was very matter of fact and didn’t apologise or offer ay explanation.

Best cafe I've been to in years. 4.7 stars is definitely worth a look at. And what a breakfast it was. Everything cooked to perfection. Staff are wonderful friendly guys. That really know how to run this place and do it well. Ordered and food on the plate within 5mins. Coffee was really nice. 5 star rating for me. Let's get this up to a 4.8 as it's well worth it. Cannot rate this little old cafe highly enough! This cafe has consistently high levels of service and food quality with never a bad day here. Prices are more than reasonable, and they are in a prime location, being directly opposite the main Worthing Railway station. This is a must visit cafe but beware... seating space is taken very quickly!!!

All you would want in a cafe. Clean with interesting decor, well priced quality food and always friendly owner / staff. Conviently situated just outside Worthing Station. Please note they don't have a customer toilet (happy to correct if they do). Can get busy and as it's small you may have to sit with a stranger ! That's good though.

Great food, great prices, great service. Went for breakfast and had a bacon & egg sandwich. Really tasty and a decent size. Went back for lunch and had the 1/2 pounder burger. Good price for the size of the burger. Can't really fault the place!

Muldoons is second to none when it comes to their offerings of cakes and traybakes, the carrot cake is exceptional, the chocolate and raspberry is my wife's favourite and every traybake from the millionaire shortbread to the brownies are delicious. Every time I go in for a coffee I'm instructed to bring one home for someone and they're always impressed, they're also one of the few places that serve generous portions are reasonable prices (£4 for cake and £3 for traybake) The staff are always happy and friendly and have smiles on their faces no matter how busy it is in the shop. The shop itself has a good amount of comfortable seating both inside and outside and is well kept, clean and not overcrowded whilst also not feeling outdated. The coffees are great, never bitter or lacking in flavour. Grab an americano when it's cold outside or an iced latte when it's hot, either way you won't be disappointed. There's also a large variety of breakfast, lunch and savoury snack options that are just as good quality as the other offerings, even including a build your own breakfast making lunch a breeze for someone with strict dietary requirements such as myself. If you're in Broadwater and need a coffee and a snack or breakfast bin off the chains and go to Muldoons! You won't regret it.

Lovely cafe, great food and drink. I especially recommend the blueberry smoothie. Be aware though that it is a lot smaller than the pictures make it out to be. We found it quite loud as a result.

Love our local Coffee cafe. Coffee is delicious, locally sourced and the cakes too. Hot food is always freshly cooked and super tasty. The staff are lovely, they know all their regulars and always help the older generation or anyone with mobility needs, they'll help.

I've been to Muldoons a few times now and I have to say it is somewhat overpriced, in comparison to the other food outlets close by, the food is OK at Muldoons but certainly not note worthy. We had a takeaway and the service was very slow for the 2 paninis that we ordered if it was busy I could see beyond the time we waited but it wasn't so i have to mention it. Sadly a disappointing experience overall.

Superb choice of cakes. Big menu with a variety of hot and cold food. Lots of gluten free options. Friendly staff. It’s annoying they aren’t open on Sundays for a breakfast! We usually get a panini or sandwich, a bit of cake and a can each - roughly comes to around £20ish.

Arrived at Cafe and ordered food at 3.29pm waited just over half an hour for food to arrive and it wasn't very nice , the roast potato's had the skin on and tasted quite strange. The two young boys who seemed to be running the place spent most of their time in the kitchen chatting and laughing with each other. I have been going to this cafe quite often but it has really gone down hill. It wasn't like it was busy when we arrived there was only myself my grand daughter and one other man so that wasn't an excuse. I also spoke to the man who was there he said he'd been going in there for quite a few years but he definitely wouldn't be going back and I also will not be going there again

Glutton for punishment, I revisited this awesome little cafe, this time for some breakfast. Huge portions and I really struggled to finish it all!!! Food is really yummy at a very good cheap price. Well worth a visit folks

£5 does not get much these days but it gets a decent all day breakfast with a good sized pot of tea, not to forget a daily paper to read whilst eating. Cant be bad.

Been looking forward to tyring this lovely little independent coffee shop and supporting a local business. Went along with my good friend and my dog and was ordered out of the shop as had the dog was with me. I felt fully humiliated with all the other patrons in the shop. I was then ordered out of the shop. May I advise purchasing a no dogs allowed sign from Amazon, they cost less than £1 and would of saved my humiliation.

Wonderful local, independent cafe - friendly, great service from Leon and his crew witth good coffee and food at a reasonble price. If you prefer the transactional, pricier, anonymous cafe there's a brand place just across the road.

Want there with my husband for breakfast was our first time. So disappointed we had English breakfast the quality of sussages. Eggs. Bacon. Beans and bread was so very cheap. Not going there any more.

generally speaking okay drinks but the staff are rude and miserable. disappointing service, or lack thereof, as the girl at the till said two words to me and it was just responses to the questions i asked. the two girls seemed more interested in gossiping than working and one didn't have her hair tied up or even out of her face. heath and safety standards??significantly better experiences at the Broadwater store where the staff are chirpy and quick on their feet, who i know are part of the same franchise. do the standards not carry over? 🤔

They forgot the furniture, bizarre furniture choice and hardly any of it. Place felt dark and not very clean. Drinks are far too over priced for what you get. Staff were friendly though.

Place is lovely, however my late wasn’t done properly, just runny milk and coffee no foam ,no layers. Maybe to some it’s ok, but it’s not how late should look or taste like.

I visited this Starbucks location for the first time this morning. There was a cool breeze outside and it felt rather cool and unwelcoming inside - no warm or friendly welcome from the staff and no atmosphere. We only had coffee and the service was efficient, that's all. There were lots of seats available even though it was mid-morning and there is plenty of space inside. No complaints about the coffee but disappointing overall.

Great tasting cake shame they took most of the icing off with the tongs when serving. Frap was delicious and so great to hear from the staff they use whole milk not the watered down stuff. Staff where friendly and the place was very clean.

The Ham and 5 Cheeses sandwich is actually very tasty.

Went to Moes today with my mum and wasn't impressed. The coffee machine was broken and they couldn't even do a cup of tea because they didn't have a kettle for backup. This may have been a bad day, however, what struck me the most was the disinterest (and outright rudeness) of the staff. The table next to us had ordered a cup of black coffee (which, due to the machine being broken, they could not have) and were brought an espresso instead. After being told, quite directly, that they were wrong by a member of staff, they got up and left. We would have done the same had it not been the case that we'd been made to pay before our food was given to us. The mozzarella toastie was bland, and the sausage bagel my mum ordered burnt and dry. She queried why there was no sauce, as set out on the menu and the response, quite aggressively, was "well you've eaten it now, so." That would have been a fair comment had we asked for our money back, but we had not and were only informing the young lady who worked there that our food was below par. Begrudgingly, she offered a free drink, which we accepted. However, upon her return, she put it on the table seemingly in a strop and walked off, without an apology. All in all, far below average food and poor service. We were made to feel very unwelcome, and perhaps the staff ought to spend less time wandering around on their phones and more time attending to their customers. Please note, we only rated this two stars because of the complimentary drink; otherwise it would have been one star.

What a find, so happy we popped in from the rain- the coffee was so amazing (vegan oat milk latte) and we tried some sourdough toasties. the food is adventurous but good quality (we wont be trying peanut butter and vegan cheese again!) - the fries were only £4 and a very good portion size. I already plan on coming back - hoping for a new vegan special next time, but there are 4-5 options. Service and atmosphere, top notch- lovely load of staff- attentive and skilled baristas! I will say it was very dark and has a hipster vibe- i loved it, but might not be what some people were after- there was an elderly mum and daughter enjoying croissants. Some seating outside (when not raining, maybe 3 under cover too) which is dog friendly.

Just found this little place on the off chance. Husband and I never go anywhere together and found this little gem! Being a manager in hospitality, I’m very critical… but this place blew me away. The service was friendly and not “too much”.. the coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted! And the breakfast was out of this world! I ordered chips as I thought I’d still be hungry and didn’t need to eat them. Their manager should be proud of their staff!! They all did an amazing job making sure it’s all clean and tidy and none of them were just stood there chatting. Excellent place!! Highly recommend and I will be back! Xx

We popped into Moe's for lunch the other day and were extremely impressed. The big breakfast was absolutely delicious with good quality sausages, wonderfully sweet roast tomatoes and delicious beans. It was also great value at £12 for two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, two hash-browns, toast, roasted cherry tomatoes and the home-made beans and I was completely stuffed at the end. The steak and eggs were great with the steak cooked perfectly medium-rare. The service was prompt and the coffees great. There wasn't much of an atmosphere, I guess, but it was a late mid-week lunch and the place was a bit empty. We will definitely go back.

Worst customer service ever. Staff is behaving like they are not interested in doing their job and had wait for a long time. They don't even remember what I ordered. Worthing Costa is a lot better interested of food and service.

Waited 15 minutes before being served. Then was immediately asked by another member of staff what drinks I had just ordered. Why? Only ordered two drinks, but one was still incorrect, and sat there for another ten minutes at least, waiting for the second one, so was cold. The staff couldn’t cope with the number of customers, but also seemed to have a very odd system of dividing activities, splitting up orders between them and breaking off for other jobs half way through orders. Other people were receiving their orders whilst I was still waiting, until I started calling across to staff for the missing drink. Had to do this twice. Quite embarrassing. No apologies from any staff about the waiting time, no apology about the hot drink being cold. And then cleaned our own table, from spilt milk and sticky cake glued to the surface, rips in the water paper behind, a stain on the seat fabric, and a torn old ‘Get your beans’ leaflet stuck to the table by tatty sellotape. You’d even run out of tea bags. With a Tesco directly opposite. WAKE UP COSTA! An independent would never get away with this. This is real money people are spending, in exchange for appalling organisation and service, in a tatty environment. You need to step in quickly and stop relying on the Costa name. I can’t think of a reason to come back, and I can’t be the only one. How can a business like this survive?

Me and my friend went here and we asked for A lid for our water and they said they can’t give us one . After I said to my friend when we were walking out Starbucks gave us a lid and a straw and the lady behind the counter (Emily ) said if your going to be rude you can leave . Emily was terrible . If I was to go again and she was there I would refuse service from her

The staff here keep asking management to fix things like the wifi which keeps crashing. Starbucks down the road has no issues. Please costa management listen to tge staff and me to fix this. We cone here 2-3 tines a week and it sucks..... The staff here are the best. 6 days on and the wifi is offline again!!!!!!!! - No IP address provided Also the ACis offline

Stopped off for a quick coffee, Cortado and a glass of milk. A few tables in the shop had trays on them. Also 3 out of the 4 tables outside needed clearing. As you can see from attached photo I sat outside and this needed clearing. I was here 15 min and they didn't get cleared in this time. Staff were friendly but possibly understaffed ( I only saw 2 of them) Coffee was made well yet the milk was disappointing as it was slightly warm where the jug had been sitting out of the fridge also only 2/3rd had been poured?? I would give them the benefit of doubt and come here again but only because they were friendly and polite.

Nice food but absolutely meagre portions. Rather than just throwing in an extra sausage to actually fill out the bap they've sliced it into these whispy little strips to try and make it look like more. No wonder all the local cafes are closing down, for a fiver this is absolutely diabolical.

A lovely little local cafe that we were keen to try as it's newly open. A nice menu on offer but only jacket potatoes for a gluten free option - I would recommend them having frozen GF paninis or similar in stock as the menu is heavily sandwich based. The menu overall is nice, not sure if it changes or not and it could do with being visible at the tables or at least on a chalk board further down inside the cafe. It felt like the staff weren't trained enough or perhaps just their system needs work - we had to correct our order at the till point and then again a couple of times after this and they still got one meal wrong. Teething problems hopefully. The meals and sweet treats we had were nice and I'm sure we'll be back.

My new favourite place! Gorgeous coffee. I had my favourite, jacket potato with cheese and bacon. Delicious every time! My dad had the medium breakfast, he said it was the best cooked breakfast hed ever had! Lovely and relaxing atmosphere and the staff are super helpful too. Have returned multiple times!

On way back from Lancing and by chance chose this cafe and what a wonderful surprise to find such a beautiful little place, a rare and charming atmosphere which is immediately evident it’s clearly a gem for locals to socialise and enjoy, everyone, owners and visitors were so friendly and welcoming, the food was stunning and the cafe is decorated beautifully. Great that people can take dogs there too and they are welcomed as much as their owners. The only downside is I so wished I lived closer but will make the journey especially just to come back as it was that much of a lovely place. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

Fantastic experience as always. My partner and I live close and come almost every day for coffee! Sonia is absolutely amazing and fantastic at what she does and I hope gets the recognition she deserves for all her hard work. The chocolate cake is especially delicious and my Mum who is gluten free adored the gluten free options! Thank you for always making our day💚

Lovely breakfast, friendly cafe, huge choice on the menu board, excellent prices. One of the best breakfasts we've had. Capuccino nice too. Highly recommended. Parking outside for free.

Went on Saturday for breakfast had the no 1 on the menu lots of food well presented good service great staff wasn't very busy but at 10:30 most people have had breakfast but people were still arriving says a lot 😃

Popped in here to have a breakfast as passing through from hospital drop and it was perfect. Generous portion of my favourite ham eggs chips and beans with a pukka coffee. More than excellent value for money, they even have a daily paper on offer to read which is always a bonus for me. Will definitely return next time passing through Worthing. Very nice people good food and very clean all the breakfast options come with 3 bacon not 2 bacon or 1 bacon but 3 bacon 🤯.. also the fried slice would shame Gordon Ramsay as it was the best I have had. My only complaint was the tin tomato's had no juices but hay no Biggie. 3 bacon man!!!.

Oh what a great little place! Super friendly staff, great range of breakfast and brunch options and for just £7.50 it was delicious! Good quality and not all greasy! Great job! I'll be back when in the area!

Absolutely delicious liver and bacon, served in onion gravy, with chips and peas. Clean, no fuss, great portion, mug of tea, can of coke. Everything just right. Lovely, friendly, efficient staff. Served quickly, food came in short order, was well cooked, and hot. Can't find a single thing wrong, and those who know me will realise how unusual that is! They have other stuff, too, I heard all day breakfast, burgers and wraps ordered whilst I was there. Oh, and cheap, very inexpensive; mine was less than £8 including the two drinks.

You can find breakfast elsewhere in Worthing. But I swear this is the best and the only one slow cook beef dish in Worthing. Beef is tender and flavorful. Definitely will try it again!

What a find ! Had a Chicken Shish, delicious, then saw all the other wonderful food folks were having which was not yet on the menu !! We will just have to go back ! Brought carrot cake home for tea ! Keep up the good work !

The only good thing was the service. I’ve been there but never again since they’ve overload the plate with the side salad making it the majority of the plate when I ordered something else. Not only that the seating is too close together and the worst part is the price is just too expensive.

Went for the first time today in over a year . Thought I'd give it another go with the misses . Food looked nice when bought out but soon discovered my black pudding was cooked properly,egg was under done (all snotty on top )and the deep fried sausage was under cooked . Toast come out pre buttered with cheap margarine that tasted rancid . Hottest day of the year and had to ask for glasses with ice for the cold drinks . We won't be coming back. Ever

Best cafe in town! Great cooked breakfasts and other food in that vein. Many options for food & drink for less than £10 each. A shame that it’s closed on Sundays.

The best value traditional breakfast cafe in Brighton. Good prices with decent quality sausages and bacon, which is sadly rare these days.

I had the curry jacket potato and it was absolutely delicious — packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and really hit the spot. The portion size was generous and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to stop for a proper bite to eat. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

Nice greasy spoon caf in brighton open market. The decor could be a bit more inviting and warm. Food is good, very cheap and large portion. Had a cheese and tomato pannini and chips. The pannini was nice with lots of cheese, although it wasnt the best cheese. Friendly service and very fast cooking.

Good traditional British cafe. Sausage better than expected. Obviously not gourmet, but definitely not the very cheapest. Tomatoes with breakfasts were good quality and again, definitely not the cheapest. Overall the best traditional, unpretentious fry up I've had for a while. Good price too.

Not too bad, typical greasy spoon, it looked pretty clean and tidy, there were some tables with the last occupants plates and cups etc but it wasn't that bad, I had a white coffee and a bacon sandwich, well the bacon was ok, you could tell it was fairly cheap bacon but it was perfectly edible but sadly the coffee was terrible, there wasn't much coffee in it for a start and the two sugars I asked for must of been seriously heaped as even for me it was too sweet, the staff were friendly and pleasant enough, I might give them another try at some point.

This market is well worth a visit. It has an interesting selection of shops in it and you might even pick up a bargain too. Its local clientele are a cross section of the area and the food of Streets Café reflects that. We love it. You can get a huge breakfast there, to see you through the rest of the day and for a good price too. Go to the Grand if you have to but Streets breakfast is the best alternative for us.

A really lovely café! The coffee is expertly made, and the patisserie is a delight. Great decor and the atmosphere was really relaxed despite how busy they were. My new favourite coffee stop in Worthing.

A nice, bright cafe open long hours from 7.30am to 7pm. Polite, friendly staff happy to prepare your French Sandwich exactly as you want it. Fabulous cakes and a very good coffee.

Such an authentic patisserie with delicious desserts, cozy vibe and such friendly owners. Im so glad it’s in the area. We will be coming back often! I’m looking forward to trying more desserts and the savouries.

Im very lucky to live and work right next to this amazing addition to Brighton road. Everything is fresh and beautiful with amazing coffee as well. The simplicity of the sandwiches works perfectly and having tried almost the whole savoury side of the menu now am so impressed every item was to the same delicious standard.
