Breakfast is delicious with choice of continental or cooked breakfast of high quality local produce. The owners are friendly with great knowledge of the area. Well recommended and have booked again for June and August.

We had the most wonderful holiday in Greece, and I can’t recommend this family-run place highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the hosts made us feel completely at home. Their hospitality was genuine, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every meal was absolutely incredible – fresh, full of flavor, and prepared with so much care. Each dish was better than the last, and it truly became one of the most memorable parts of our stay. The location itself is perfect – peaceful, picturesque, and everything you imagine when you think of Greece. All in all, this was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines stunning views, warm-hearted people, and food you’ll be dreaming about long after you leave, this is it.

Disappointing. The staff at the reception/phone are very rude. We were party of 8, two separate bookings, and when we arrived they put us in the wrong room. I emailed them about the arrival time. After we left, I got a message from the hotel that they had taken all our belongings to a different room. First, it feels a bit invasive that someone unknown is packing our stuff and moving them to the different room. Second, no apologies or accountability of the mix up. I understand mix up happens and all they needed to tell us "we are sorry for the mix up" and all is good, instead the woman on the phone was very rude when we struggled to get in our new room at midnight. It was the cleaners who provided the room. In addition, we were promised to get the rest of the room details at 3pm. But we needed to ask them ourselves at 8pm, because we never received them. Apparently, these should come via portal, which we never received. Very unprofessional behaviour overall. I can not recommend this place, especially if you are planning to book more than 1 room. It's such a shame as the rooms are beautiful.
Anniina — Google review
What an amazing find this was. Lovely comfortable room with a thoughtful welcome pack of goodies, and a lovely sunny courtyard. Close to local amenities. Wishes we could have stayed longer and will definitely return.
Maggie H — Google review
Lovely hotel, quite small and unique close to the centre of town. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. A small car park at the back for guests. Would definately rebook if I was in Oswestry again.
Yvonne C — Google review
This was my second stay at Sebastians, both times with my two dachshunds (apologies for their enthusiastic barking hellos!). Rooms 9 and 10 are beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and very dog-friendly — we were even welcomed with a bowl and some lovely treats for the pups. Every member of staff is so friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. I often visit family at the Butchers Arms just across the way, so it’s a real comfort knowing I’ve found my home from home here at Sebastian’s. Looking forward to many more stays!
Chloe A — Google review
Room was quirky and not straight, the wardrobe door was hanging on by a thread. When I booked I was certain it was a B&B but we saw no sign of any breakfast. At night, because it's in the centre of town it sounded like a race track outside, with cars reving up almost under the window. On the Saturday morning I woke to the sound of a street cleaner, followed by the bin men, sometime before 7am. There were two redeeming features, firstly the shower was amazing.. and second, because it was in the centre of town we were able to find breakfast relatively quickly. Additional awkwardness is that the car park is not easy to find with room for only 4-5 cars.
Matt H — Google review
Stayed in room 3 whilst visiting the Balloon festival, location was perfect. Booking and checking in were easy with great comunication. Lots of free parking and room was beautiful 👌

Nestled in the Mile Oak Industrial Estate, Munchies Diner is a delightful spot that promises a warm and inviting atmosphere. Recently revived after a long hiatus, this charming diner welcomes guests with friendly smiles and an array of delicious options. Patrons rave about the generous portions and cozy booth seating, making it an ideal place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The attentive staff, including standout team members like Callum and Paul, ensure that every visit feels special.
It's good to know that this diner is up and running again. The last time I was here must be 12 years ago, so when I was in the vicinity and saw the lights on, I decided to stop and go in to see what it's like again. A warm, friendly welcome, and my breakfast order was soon served at my comfy booth type seating area. Cheers to Callum and Paul for a great breakfast and service. Definitely will be back, and if you haven't been here before, do pop round. A proper "Diner" is very rare nowadays, but this one is a real treat!!

It was a nice breakfast room. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Also very nice that the white beans in tomato sauce are served in a separate bowl instead of on your plate. That is really nice. So all in all a super breakfast place

Came here for a full English breakfast, great portion size of really good quality food. Served piping hot and very quick friendly service. Would definitely return Excellent value for money especially given the quality of the food
David M — Google review
Very nice traditional diner, offering English breakfast menu as well as a few other classics (sandwiches, panini, jacket potato, omelettes, fish and chips, burger and chips). Food is pretty decent; full English has it all (except fried bread). Quick and hot food, served by friendly staff. Closed around two years ago or so but been under new management now for around a year, going strong and steady! Run by a friendly local chap. Limited free-to-use parking outside. Wheelchair accessible. Toilet facilities present.

Stayed at the primer inn around the corner to this place, the breakfast here was far better cooked and much better quality of food. A warm welcome and very friendly. Will be definitely using again when in wales on the motorbikes. Oh and the prices are good too 😎

Aroma Cafe Bar Ltd is a delightful gem in Oswestry that never fails to impress. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a casual meal, the staff go above and beyond to create memorable experiences. From surprise birthday treats for little ones to accommodating guests with mobility needs, their friendly service shines through. The menu offers delicious options like the Olympic breakfast, featuring herby sausages and perfectly cooked beans, as well as satisfying baked potatoes that hit the spot.
Tasty little cafe had a baked potato which hit the spot! Sat outside as the weather was lovely and it had great atmosphere
Matthew S — Google review
Stopped for breakfast since our usual cafe is closed on a Sunday. Service very slow, however, staff friendly. As it was busy, we had to sit up in the back/top room which feels dirty and was very noisy. Our 2 breakfasts arrived after near 50minutes and was very underwhelming for the cost. Eggs overdone, sausages very peppery, beans served in chipped crockery and butter served so cold it couldn't spread on the cold toast. Unfortunately, we will not return to what could be a lovely set up.
Tom H — Google review
Sat outside for lunch on market day. Service couldn't have been more helpful! Asked for a glass of water when we arrived (to take medication) and waitress came out with glasses of water with ice for all 3 of us. Lovely food too plus space for 2 mobility scooters where we sat and accessible toilet inside the cafe.
June K — Google review
Nice place but for the fries they were inedible and more than half of them had to be thrown away as they were literally rock solid all the way through. Most the other food is worth what you pay but they could do with upgrading the chips/fries for the amount that they are
Jesse M — Google review
What a lovely place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ordered the Olympic breakfast to share with my daughter. All cooked to perfection. The sausages were especially nice and herby and the toast came with plenty of butter. I even tried the black pudding and the beans were served in a dish. Could not fault it.

Square One Oswestry is a charming café nestled within the Cambrian vintage goods emporium, offering a delightful atmosphere for visitors. The menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes, from scrumptious burgers topped with pulled pork to creative options like bubble waffles and chicken rice bowls. Diners rave about the beautifully presented meals that are bursting with flavor.
The burger with pulled pork - 10/10. The burger is really tasty, good quality and thickness of the patty. The pulled pork is reaaaaly tasty! Second time I’ve had it. Chips are even super tasty (skin on). Really good selection of food, drink and dessert options. Their brownies look amazing. Not expensive. Atmosphere is really good too, wish it was bigger ! Will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

A lovely cafe in the heart of Oswestry. The food was delicious, the service polite and professional and a very friendly atmosphere. Really worth a visit 😜

Been here a couple of times now Takeaway kiosk outside is excellent, over Christmas they have been serving hot chocolate which has been excellent, I had a kinder Bueno hot choccie and sat outside, it was lovely. Also sat inside to have a coffee and some veggie dogs, lovely food very pretty decor. Can get busy so not always guaranteed a seat.

Court yard seating with counter service for food and drinks. We stopped on a hot day for milkshakes. We were not disappointed!! Proper thick milkshakes served by staff with a smile. Even though it was very busy, we were served quickly with our drinks ready just a few moments later. Would definitely recommend. The food coming out to other tables looked amazing so we will definitely be back!!

A great spot for an early morning coffee! Loads of seating outside, and some inside. Good quality food and drinks for reasonable prices. Gets pretty busy around lunchtimes on the weekend but worth the slightly longer wait.

Food and service were bloody brilliant. I messed up the order slightly so when the 'extra' food arrived they were still OK with taking it back and even gave me a refund 🙃 will definitely recommend and return. Definitely worth 5 Stars.
David G — Google review
Popped along for a late lunch on a random Friday. We were able to sit inside and were given a lovely seat to people watch. The menu had a great choice and we were torn what to have. We went for pawn bubble waffle and a chicken rice bowl with a sidebof bacon and cheese fries. The food arrived in good time and was presented beautifully. The food was lovely to eat with great favour. Overall fantastic food and we will be back

Gareth D — Google review
Staff very pleasant & service excellent. However, tables not cleaned & our newspapers stuck to unwiped tables. State of the toilet & very wet floor left a lot to be desired, although I do acknowledge that this might have been the customers, nevertheless, a few more staff cleaning & clearing away would not go amiss. This is a genuine customer review.

The Wilfred Owen - JD Wetherspoon is a pub in Oswestry that offers affordable food and drinks. It is known for its reasonable prices and provides a great place to gather with friends and family. The pub serves classic pub food and offers a variety of cocktails and mocktails.
Lovely atmosphere, reasonable prices, friendly service and great quality food.. Can't ask for more
David M — Google review
Visited The Wilfred Owen JD with my wife for a casual meal, and we had a great experience. We went for the £14.99 combo, which included two portions of chicken wings and a pizza – all really tasty and well-prepared. We also shared a pitcher of Pimm’s, which was refreshing and went well with the food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, just like you'd expect from a JD Wetherspoon pub. Although I didn’t notice any free parking, there might be some nearby – I was only visiting for the day, so didn’t explore too much. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxed meal and drink. Would definitely drop by again if I’m in the area!
Melbin S — Google review
Came here on a date. We decided to have "spoons tapas" which is 3 small plates for £14.99, what a treat. We had the nachos, the chicken wings and the chicken bites. I got hungry and ate all of the chicken which went down beautifully. My date said she was a bit hungry after we'd left but I wanted to get home. We were due another date this coming Tuesday but her grandmother has unexpectedly passed away so she won't be able to make that or any other dates. The wine list was also extensive and very reasonably priced.
Jamie T — Google review
Many Wetherspoons are historic buildings that have been carefully restored. This one isn't. It's an ordinary modern building, but it has been made attractive with its floor to ceiling glass making it bright and welcoming. It also has a very nice beer garden. Named after the WWI poet Wilfred Owen who was born in Oswestry and was sadly killed just a week before the end of the war, whilst serving as an officer in the Manchester Regiment in France, where he had been awarded the Military Cross. The food and excellent choice of cask ales, including a superb stout, was extremely good value.
Nuts — Google review
Sizeable and comfortable town centre Wetherspoons pub. Also with a large beer garden at the side. Staff helpful and friendly enough. Enjoyed good breakfast here, cooked well. A good place to just go for a beer, eat or just a coffee with friends.
Paul D — Google review
You can always count on The Wilfred Owen in Oswestry for a great pub experience! The first thing that struck me was just how massive the place is. With so many tables and different seating areas, even though it was busy, we found a spot instantly—no waiting around, which is a huge plus. The food menu is fantastic, with all the classic Wetherspoon favourites and plenty of options to suit everyone. What's even better are the prices. You really can't beat the value for money here. The quality is consistently good, and you know you're getting a tasty, hearty meal without breaking the bank. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite, a full meal, or just a drink with friends, The Wilfred Owen delivers. It's spacious, lively, and incredibly affordable. A top choice for a reliable and enjoyable visit in the heart of Oswestry!
Ralf T — Google review
I was really disappointed with my visit here. Despite being over 18, I was refused service with no proper explanation. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had been served without any issues at other pubs the same day, so it was clear that the problem wasn’t my age. I completely respect that pubs need to check ID and follow the rules, but in this case it felt unnecessary and unfair. The way it was handled was embarrassing and left me feeling singled out in front of others. Instead of enjoying myself, I left frustrated — and I won’t be rushing back.
9.7.1.6 — Google review
Ordered 3 breakfasts 1 scrambled egg on toast, it was soggy bread that wasn't even lightly browned it was bearly more than stale and the egg wasnt even mixed it looked as though someone had started to make fried egg them quickly chopped it through (hardly ate any), pancakes 1 was hard as a rock on 1 side (but my daughter ate most of hers) and a big breakfast with extra black pudding the black pudding could genuinely be used as charcoal it actually cracked when my husband tapped it (husband enjoyed the rest of his breakfast minus the black pudding), we were only refunded for the extra paid for the black pudding but i think a partial for the scambled eggs should have been done too. Do not recommend breakfast staff were friendly but food close to the end of breakfast was horrendous.

Chirk Truck Stop is a hidden gem for travelers seeking a convenient and friendly pit stop. Nestled behind the BP garage, it offers ample parking space for around 40 trucks, making it easy to access. While the parking fees may be on the higher side and showers come at an extra cost, the overall experience is quite pleasant. The staff are known for their warm hospitality, ensuring you feel welcome during your stay.
Excellent food at a very cheap price and served with a smile and a lovely welcome. It's a truck stop, not the Ritz but it was clean and tidy and the toilet facilities were good. Well worth a visit for good food.

Stopped at the Lazy Kettle truck stop on way to a camping trip. Only got a sausage & black pudding on toast and a cuppa. What a lovely butty it was though. Fresh & tasty, with a quick and friendly enough service. Well worth a visit and I'll definitely be stopping here again the next time I'm passing through.
MerseyMoto — Google review
Parking is a bit pricey and you have to pay extra for a shower. Parking bays could do with a bit of a paint as a bit difficult to see when the place is empty and dark. Site was nice and quite and with garage open 24 hours secure Food was really nice but little small it would of been better if offered a little discount if parking as meal voucher doesn’t reflect a discount. Brush your teeth in cab unless you like doing them with warm water Staff was really friendly Overall good night
A D — Google review
Food was ok but very over priced. Shame because it's ideally located & I'm looking to find an old school truck stop cafe. My search continues..
Craig W — Google review
Don't go by the postcode on the Intruck app - that takes you to a shell station just down the road. Go to the roundabout just nearby, the truck stop is located behind the BP garage. Easy to get to. There's a decent amount of space for parking - maybe 40 trucks or so. The staff are polite, and the food is good to be fair - best chips you'll find in any truck stop in the country - fact! The showers are clean enough, there's just little room to change there, that's all. Toilets are also clean - theyre the old style metal ones without any form of lid, so a quick wipe before you sit is all that's needed - which I do with any toilet anyway. Make sure you use toilet / showers before they close, cause they don't open till 2pm most days. It's a shame about the parking lot - there's quite a bit of rubbish which I suppose is only down to the people that use the place, so we only have ourselves to blame as there's 3 big bins to use located just to the side of the cafe. A wee bit of love and care, and this would be a great place to stop.
Iain M — Google review
So I've paid for parking on a Friday night for no food no showers and no security this is a joke 🤣 but these are the standards of the UK now in 2025

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain famous for its delicious burgers and fries. It has a long history of providing quality service and tasty meals. The restaurant offers convenient locations, such as one near Morrisons supermarket and fuel station, making it easily accessible for customers. Visitors can expect clean facilities, hot food, and great service at this establishment. Whether you're looking to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely meal, McDonald's aims to provide a pleasant dining experience for all patrons.

The food here was very disappointed. Burger was poorly made, fries were very stale (remarks also made by other customers), but the McNuggets were great. It’s a decently clean location, bathrooms were spotless which is very rare for McDonald’s. Parking is plenty with a play area, not common in locations across the UK anymore.

I like a Macdonald's wrap. Wherever the restaurant I visit, my experience is the same, and good, definitely 4 star. Not here at Oswestry. I dined in. Aircon set way too cold for me, and also for my fries. 🥶
Nicholas H — Google review
Shocking service. Used click and serve as I was on a short break from work and wanted a few minutes to relax rather than waiting in a line or drive through. When my order was brought out the woman looked like she had just attended a funeral, and after handing me my food she turned around to head back and said to her colleague “I’m fed up of this click and serve now.” I checked my order and lo and behold I was missing an item. On top of that the large upgrade I paid for my meal was pointless as the chips were half full and looked like they had sat in the vat for the last 30 mins. I went back inside to have the missing item corrected and staff members did all they could to avoid eye contact with me, meaning my meal is getting colder and colder while I wait to be seen. Was in a great mood before visiting here but after that interaction I think I’ll go kfc next time.
Tristan — Google review
Dirty, sticky tables, lots of rubbish piled up and along wait for my order. I had to go back to the counter and ask for part of my order that they didn't give me the first time. Also I've been here a few times and they never have sauces. You can get ketchup but I don't like it. The nuggets taste like cardboard and are very dry without something nice to dip them in. It seems they only care about orders for delivery.
Natalie D — Google review
The slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. 25 minutes and there were only 4 orders Infront of me! Not exactly 'fast food'. Staff seem to spend more time talking than cooking.

Awesome food and super friendly staff. What more can one ask for. One of the Best cafés I've stopped at. Open a Manchester branch please

Lovely friendly staff at the corner cafe, cosy atmosphere and lovely hearty breakfast food. Highly recommended hang over cure!

Went there for lunch, what a mistake, husband used the toilet wouldn’t let me use it as it didn’t flush sink was on the floor so couldn’t wash hands. Ordered a bacon bap and sausage bap the brown sauce was put on by staff, the mug that I had for my tea was dirty, absolutely no COVID safety ie: cutlery in a pot on a table for everyone to use sauce bottle on table one menu for all the cafe, because we are nice people we stayed and ate ( food not that good bacon not cooked properly) as soon as we left the cafe we sanatised our hands with our own wipes and gel that we had in the car.

The Beech Tree. Coffee.Brunch.Lunch is a special cafe known for its warm welcome and cozy atmosphere, offering a variety of delicious treats like pastel de nata and gluten-free chocolate and orange brownies. The coffee served here is described as 'awesomely bodacious' and the staff are friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their hot beverages.
Faultless from start to finish. Today my family and I had a wonderful brunch at the new Beech Tree cafe in Oswestry. The hot drinks, lunch and cake were all excellent with a range of dietary needs catered for easily. We knew it would be great given it's links to the wonderful Amber's Pizza but it really was extra extra tasty. Perfect service with many smiles. We felt the price very reasonable especially given the quality of the food and we will be back.

Amazing service from the moment we walked we walked in from Rebecca and Erin. Food exceptional tasty and beautifully presented….. great value for money… ample portion sizes! Thank you for a great experience ❤️👌

Fantastic lunch spot. We stopped off here for a quick lunch break part way in to a long journey home. The food was delicious and vibrant, with lots of lovely dishes to choose from! 😋 Would definitely return if we are in the area again

Stepping into The Beech Tree on a sunny afternoon felt like finding a little slice of heaven in Oswestry! The outdoor seating was an absolute dream, perfect for soaking up the glorious weather. I snagged a spot and spent a blissful hour or so just watching the world go by, all to the delightful soundtrack of street music floating through the air. And let's talk about the treats! The cappuccino was the perfect companion for my people-watching session - rich, robust, and beautifully made. But the real star of the show was that java cake slice. Oh my goodness, it was divine! Moist, decadent, and packed with that perfect coffee flavour, it was everything I could have wanted and more. The combination of great coffee, incredible cake, and a lively, sunny atmosphere made for an unforgettable visit. The Beech Tree is more than just a café; it's a quintessential Oswestry experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favour and stop by for a moment of pure, sun-drenched bliss. You won't regret it!

Had a lovely birthday meal here! Super on it, friendly and warm service from the waitress and the wonderful chefs provide delicious food, brought out all together. Also impressive considering we were a larger party. We had a mix of omnivores and vegan diets and everyone was catered to and very happy. Highly recommend not only coming here for daytime, but also the evenings 😊

Our family called in for a spot of lunch on the 12th of October. My wife had Bacon toast, which she enjoyed. I had spicy meatballs, which was really delicious. Nice friendly staff and enjoyable food. Next time I'm in Oswestry, I will definitely call again.

Fantastic celebration lunch with family - beautiful place with LUSH food, fab decor and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended! 💖💖💖

Looks like a nice place, menu looks great, staff perfectly nice... But unfortunately, 2 take away coffees (avg. price and a good coffee!) took 20 minutes on a quiet Sunday. One staff member had time to make herself and a friend a coffee while we were waiting, doesn't make me want to go back.

This charming roadside spot boasts picnic benches and cozy undercover seating, making it an inviting place to relax. With dog-friendly amenities and ample parking right next to your table, it's designed for convenience. Beautiful roadside cafe, very clean . Lovely friendly staff. We stopped for a breakfast today and boy we wasn’t disappointed , food cooked fresh as we waited , good quality sausage and bacon, I asked for no eggs on mine & was given an extra sausage . Great coffee too, highly recommend we will be back .

We were running late after a long journey, but needed a quick lunch. This place was perfect. When it comes to it, it's a tiny cafe in a layby on a very busy road. But everything has been done to make it as pleasant as possible.....picnic benches, a toilet, nice undercover seating, a small amount of inside seating and dog friendly. Decent size layby, where you can park right next to where you sit. The food was quick and good. For what it is, you really won't find better.

If you are travelling on the A5 near Oswestry you must stop for a coffee and a bite to eat here. A roadside shack elevated by the care and attention by its owner. Excellent coffee and perfect toasties, with complementary sausage served on plates for our dogs along with fresh water. And possibly the sweetest smelling forensically clean portaloo I have ever used! Forget the service station stop here!

I pass by here frequently with work, had half hour spare today, very well worth the visit. Lovely fresh bread, piping hot and served on a paper plate with napkins, very friendly service. You cannot expect more for a hot roadside cafe.

Weston Village Clubhouse is located on the outskirts of Oswestry Town Centre, surrounded by 20 acres of picturesque landscapes. The fishing lakes, including The Belvedere, The Canal, Jack's Pool, The Stretton, The Clay Pit and The Weir are well-maintained and easily accessible. Visitors can stay in static caravans with lovely views of the fishing lakes and enjoy excellent meals served throughout the day at the clubhouse. Live entertainment is also available on certain evenings.
Working local to Weston today , decided to treat my son to a bit of lunch . We both opted for the Peri Peri Chicken ,he had wings and I had thighs . We chose skin on fries and slaw , oh my goodness is all I can say to describe our meal . I’m so glad we hadn’t got a lot to do this afternoon, both full up with good quality and tasty food . Excellent service and very friendly staff at this venue. We have had a great breakfast in the past , only thing now is to try a Sunday roast . We have had good recommendations about the roast.
Michael M — Google review
We've been building and have no cooker, we went this morning for a takeaway breakfast and got baps full of thick good quality bacon. Whilst there ordered our tea, a Nandos style chicken dish with sides. We chose the hot and it was marinaded so well, was juicy and tender and the veg perfectly prepared. The icing on the cake is the staff, so amiable, welcoming and friendly. We will be back tomorrow to try the burgers.

Absolutely well cooked Sunday roast. Tasty and great sized portions. Good staff great selection of puddings. Well stocked bar. Need to pre book for Sunday lunch but I don't think you do other days of the week

Rachel and staff are great! Always welcoming and a great choice of food and drinks! We regularly take our grassroots team for team outings and Rachel always makes sure they are looked after.

Clubhouse food was some of the worst we have had in a long time, chips/wedges (confused what they was suppose to be) tasted and looked 4 weeks old, steak was ridiculously thin (thinner than a mcdonalds beef patty) and very very dry and tasted like it was gone off, lamb kofta greasy and gristly..overall wouldn't recommend or return.... We would definitely return for the accommodation it is beautiful overlooking Weir fishing lake and had a great day's fishing 🎣

Good little services, they take key fuels and there’s hgv parking if you need to stay there. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. 😊

The worst ham cheese toasties ever. More like warm bread with cheap liquid cheese and a flake of ham. Rip off prices too. However coffee is nice.

Found all 3 toilets locked and no interest at all when asked about them totally don’t care attitude. Definitely would not stop there another time. With disabled people on the coach unable to use them.
Bill V — Google review
Nothing vegan in the cafe or the M&S outlet. Toilets okay though, and the air machine works, so not a totally wasted stop.
