The Redwood Brewers Fayre is a relaxed family-friendly pub and restaurant chain that offers a delightful mix of classic dishes and international favorites. If you're in Staffordshire, the Kitchen Manager highly recommends trying their popular Mixed Grill, which is sure to satisfy your cravings. And don’t forget to save room for dessert; the Caramel Apple Betty and Triple Chocolate Brownie are must-tries!
Came here for my sons second birthday. A little family outing with a decent sized play area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was good! They don't pester you when you're eating like other places but are more than happy to help when you need anything. Unfortunately, I didn't get any names however, the ladies at the front of house gave our little boy a teddy and card, once they found out it was his birthday, which he loved. It's the little things like these that make a good experience into a great one. Thanks again!!

Visited with a friend yesterday to enjoy the festive menu. We had booked a table in advance. On ordering at the bar, unfortunately, they didn't have my friends starter in stock. We received our glasses and filled up on the unlimited drinks deal. The starters arrived fairly quickly, I enjoyed my mac and cheese bites, but they were a little greasy. My friends soup was covered in basil oil, which was unpleasant. She left most of it, but this was never queried as we waited ages for our main courses and had to ask if they were ready. We both enjoyed our main courses, I had the festive burger, and she had the turkey dinner. Both were piping hot and perfectly cooked. We then waited ages again and had to request our puddings. We both had a sundae, and they were fresh made, no complaints. We observed a severe lack of staff. Once you did speak to a staff member, they were very pleasant and helpful. Tables were left uncleared, and the place looked dirty. Under our table hadn't been cleaned, and the remnants from other meals were clear. It was such a shame as the food was delicious and piping hot, but nearly 3 hours to have a 3 course meal is ridiculous.
Mairi M — Google review
We both ordered a smothered platter. The steak was exceptional! Generous portions of all 3 meat. The layout/design reminded me more of a home with sofas and large spaces. It was late on a Sunday evening, yet staff was still welcoming and friendly. Perfect start for our holiday en route to the airport.

Honestly, pleasantly surprised with this place. Children's soft play was OK, £4.50 per child. Open untill 1900 hrs. The value menu was really good, food for a fiver, the portions were good and the food was good too. Will return .

Food terrible, service ok. Can't even cook a small pizza. Flies loved it though!

I don't have much words because it's just great here. The food isn't overpriced and if you want a nice bite to eat its perfect! Not had a bad experience and it's mine and my mums go to lunch place. The staff are friendly too and plenty of car parking :) Update.. had the festive menu today and it was the best dinner I've had in a long while. Even beat a carvery!
Gina C — Google review
Stayed for three days. Food is fine like any other pub. They have good deals that you can take advantage of. I felt that the breakfast menu needs some improvement and they should offer a few more options. Other than that, it was a good experience overall.

Just had the most lovely experience at the Redwood with my family. The food was amazingly prepared by the chefs Rich and Drew! Deliciousness all round! Service by the waitresses was friendly, and helpful. Big thanks to Izzy and Imogen. Overall a great dinner out with the family! Would highly recommend 👌

No-frills pub with outdoor seating and a spacious interior for local real ales and British food.
It's well located in the main street around the town centre just next to the park. Popular with the locals; we came to have breakfast and was well impressed! Food was freshly made, delicious, and served with a lovely smile 😍 The place is clean, spacious neat and has the great service staff during our visit 😀 Nice and clean toilets upstairs 👌 The drinks on promotions are good deals and quite popular
PH P — Google review
This was a great pub for lunch, with a nicely styled design! This is contributed to from the features along the wall and the note symbols at the counter, which is stylish in itself. I had a tasty Tuna and Cheese panni although it lacked as much mayo as should, seating is fine and the toilets were clean.
K. P — Google review
The waiters seem depressed you want people to come in, have. A smile and be more willing to do the work provided. Takes 6 minutes to be served timed on a Tuesday. Have not eaten food so don’t know know but in general it’s shit here good for a laugh and cheap drinks:

Maybe one of the better spoons I've been in venue wise, stairs are still miles away. Even tho was super busy staff were efficient and consistent. Not great food but typical for a spoons I suppose.

Extraordinary exterior, and your average Wetherspoons inside — service was slow, but when I was served, it was fine Toilets are extraordinarily stinky though!
Jay B — Google review
I don't recommend breakfast, the bacon is dry, the scrambled eggs look like they've been sitting there for a few minutes and the sausages are almost cold

Came in on a Saturday & Sunday morning for breakfast and was served by a wonderful girl named Claire, she was totally professional and very courteous, she should be used as a template for all new wetherspoons staff in how to treat a customer. A full professional and happy women 👍

Castle Oatcakes is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic Staffordshire oatcakes. This charming spot produces a limited daily supply of gluten-free oatcakes, including options filled with delicious ingredients like gluten-free sausage. For those looking to take some home, they offer packets of these tasty treats with a minimum order of one dozen. Additionally, you can indulge in their gluten-free pikelets—both plain and fruity—though these require 24 hours' notice.
Forgot how good Castle Oatcakes was. Recently moved back to the area….so over 10 years since I last had one. The food is very fresh and extremely tasty. Excellent presentation. Very reasonable prices for great quality food, and very good sized portions. I had the ultimate oatcake box which I highly recommend. I had a delivery and the food arrived quickly and still hot. Very friendly and great communication from one of the team that delivered the order. Excellent service…..highly recommend. Best oatcake shop around, can’t wait to go back. Keep up the great work.
T T — Google review
Oatcakes here are awful. In their defence they rectified the issue with a refund but I would rather of not wasted their time. Felt awful calling for a refund not something I’d usually do but these were inedible with what little there was of the cheese smelling sour (probably just a mature cheese and that’s obviously a preference thing)
Tiffany B — Google review
I came here today to try what seemed like good oatcakes . Just my experience of trying one i didnt enjoy. I ordered 15" bacon&cheese. The cheese tasted like it was mixed with something, probably to stretch the ingredients more . There was alot of rind on the bacon, really salty and also the texture of the oatcake was really rubbery and just broke apart . Really reminded me of the oatcakes of North Staffordshire what nobody really likes. The staff are okay engage good with you. Parking is not too bad I didnt really want to write a review like this , because i love a good oatcake especially in my home town. I have just generally wrote a honest review.

Take-away. The famous Staffordshire Oatcakes sold here!. Cooked fresh every day. Filled oatcakes coffee cold drinks. I couldn't believe their 30 inch filled oatcake!!! Yes 2 feet 6 inches across Just Wow. Or their 'Eddie Hall ' breakfast. Delivery service too. Parking on site but limited at busy times opens 5am til noon Friday Saturday and Sundays only. Be aware that they sometimes close 10 minutes earlier than advertised if sold out. If you are late - ring to see if they are still open. A very friendly family business. Highly recommened
Goldbargurl — Google review
Great oatcakes served by friendly staff. We visited as tourists and really enjoyed the oatcake experience. The oatcakes were impressively structurally stable. They were served in packaging that made them easy to eat without making a mess!

unfortunately I have to give 1 star.. I've found the cheese isnt very nice at all and is mixed 70/30 with something.. the sausages were very grisly, low quality.

Breakfast restaurant
Caffè Nero is a coffee shop with a light menu of dishes and specially blended hot & cold drinks. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Lovely comfortable cafe right on the high street and lots of space inside - comfortable chairs tables and sofas all available. Coffee a little strong for my taste so be aware of how much milk you need -
William D — Google review
Wilfred had a delicious cup of coffee from here. He chose the single original Brazilian bean. The flavour was very rich and intense. A perfect kick start to the day.
Ace R — Google review
Good quality coffee. Staff are helpful but busy periods could see them a bit flustered and making small errors for orders. Setting is great and radiates comfort and ease with all the leather chairs, but the lack of a counter or station to put your used mugs/plates/cutlery means some tables are left to be cleaned - adding strain to staff workload.
Gabriel — Google review
Nice food to choose from staff friendly enough but the biggest letdown was the dirty coffee cup not acceptable good points about the store they do allow dogs inside which is always a positive
Mike W — Google review
Atmosphere here is always nice, but I've failed to have a drink here that I've actually enjoyed 😂. The first was a large hot cappuccino- the coffee ratio was completely wrong as I could barely taste the coffee, was just foamy coffee infused milk with no real microfoam. The second was a velvet iced Americano and this time it was just piled with unnecessary ice so the actual volume of the drink was like 100ml (unless you wait for the ice to bloody melt). Top tip, if you actually like coffee, choose a small drink (buy two if you have to) as you get way more value. Either the company likes to scam or the staff haven't been trained properly on making drinks.
Andrew M — Google review
Although a chain, I love this place. Nice atmosphere, chilled music, staff polite and friendly. Dogs welcome. Food is panini type things which can be warmed up and there are always tasty cakes. I take my elderly mum here and she likes it. It’s a good meeting place for friends and you can watch the world go by from the windows.
Amber J — Google review
Had a really nice frappe and I bought some slices of cake to take away. Upon opening the boxes at home couldn't help but laugh at the size of the portions I was given. Just aswell my cake was tiny, it was awful, tge most disappointed I've ever been at a cheesecake, ot was bland, boring, and the texture was confusing, a biscuit base, cream cheese top, mixed with fruit and muffin pieces, all tge texture, explain that? 🤔😂 The frappe worth every penny, but the cakes I should have been paid for!

On the evening of Friday, July 8th, 2020, Morrisons Cafe provided excellent affordability with their offer. They served two meals for adults and two for kids, along with four beverages and two slushies at a price of only £6.80. This remarkable deal was made possible due to Morrison's decision to extend the "eat out to help out" program throughout the entire week.
Always get good food and good value for money, use morrison cafes quite often and it really is really good food, and very pleasant staff.

No body on till or anywhere infact, 1 drink machine not working and the other only giving hot water and milk for a hot chocolate,
Duncan N — Google review
The food always comes out wrong and they moan at you for them getting the order wrong the food is dry and disgusting the staff is very rude especially the woman with black hair and glasses I would rate this a zero star if I could would most definitely avoid took 40 minutes for the food to come out and the place is empty
L S — Google review
Obviously short staffed as queue to order/pay without anyone at till, and most tables uncleared.
Neil C — Google review
Very friendly staff but the breakfasts have taken a dive. It’s vary rare I leave a negative review but even the missus complained. We love to have a breakfast in mozzers but since Xmas, somethings happened with the quality of the sausages and bacon . Drinks were fine. Just being honest as we all spend our hard earned ££££s. I think we’ll have toast on the next visit.
Wheelz A — Google review
All available tables had used plates, cups and trays on despite only a few tables in use. Food took a while to arrive and when it did the bacon on the sandwich was so undercooked it was not even warm. Sorry Morrison's never again.
Andrew H — Google review
Avoid if you don’t want them to make a joke out of what your wearing and how you look I went in after the gym for some breakfast and I had one of the staff members who served me at the till taking the p*ss because I had a vest on saying to another staff member right in front of me “he thinks he’s on bloody love island” then started laughing unlike her I stayed calm and collected and ignored the situation hope she’s dealt with accordingly and taught some manners
Kristian J — Google review
We ordered our food and found a seat . After about 20 mins our food had still not arrived . In the meantime more customers were arriving people were starting to be told of a 30min waiting time. 20 mins later I was about to go and ask if we had been forgotten about when our food turned up . The lady serving was very polite and apologetic for the delay . When we started to eat the food was only look warm at best . Having waited 40mins did not want to complain because the food could have gone out of date by the time it was returned . Not the best experience by any standards

Ladies and gentlemen, please listen attentively. It is advised to avoid visiting Marks & Spencers due to negative experiences reported by some customers. This store offers ample parking space but can become crowded during peak hours due to its popularity. Unfortunately, road works near the store's vicinity may cause inconvenience while leaving. On a positive note, the store manager named Paul efficiently resolved an issue encountered at the checkout counter on March 10th.
I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Marks & Spencer. Everything from the fresh and diverse food and drink options to the high-quality and stylish clothing and other items truly exceeded my expectations. What amazed me the most was how all of this could be offered at such reasonable prices. The variety and attention to detail in both the products and the overall shopping experience make this store stand out. It’s the perfect place for a quick shopping trip, whether you’re looking for something to wear, a gift, or simply some delicious food. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Hatice G — Google review
Great place for shopping big or small. It is suited perfectly inside the big retail park with lots of parking spaces including spaces for parents with children and disabled. The shop itself based on two levels with enough space to browse through. The choice of clothes is great to satisfy your style and colour preferences. I love going there and spend time looking for what I need and finding more than I was planning. After all the energy spent for shopping it is nice to go in their Caffè for a cup of tea and a bite to eat.
Alla F — Google review
Generous amount of parking. The shop is well organised with different areas for clothing, homeware etc. The cafe has decent cakes and savoury selection with great views to sit and people watch on the carpark. Last visit I took a dog with me and as far as I could see there were no signs to say dogs were not allowed. I was approached by a security guard and told I'd have to leave.. it's was all very polite and I still bought my socks first but best put signs on the door to prevent this situation I feel. Can't see why it's a problem in the clothing areas. It's certainly okay at J L

Very cool shop. Good assortment and very high quality items. Great selection of wine and cheeses. There are self-service checkouts. There are lots of interesting products. Fun sauces. Very good quality fruit. Very conveniently made car park, when it rains you don't get wet. Everything for people
John — Google review
A large store on two levels with a food hall and cafe. Fantastic selection of children's men and women's clothing . It now has self-service tills on both floors. The cafe is very spacious and has large windows where many like to sit The food hall is one of the best in the country with a bakery and flower shop as well as fresh fruit and vegetables ,ready meals ,sandwiches and drinks. If you like French or Spanish products you will find lots of choices of cheeses and cured hams. The french style cakes are very tempting as is the excellent bread in particular sour dough loaves, baguettes and ciabattas. If you want high quality bedding then look no further. There are some beautiful William Morris designs . Homeward and furniture are also of a high standard .
Linda M — Google review
Don't usually write reviews to complain. However, very rude lady in cafe. "Charley" completely blanked us for a solid 5 minutes while in the middle of taking our order and was incredibly blunt when actually taking the order. I understand talking to other colleagues when on the job but read the room! Not what you'd call good customer service.
Loki K — Google review
Had to pop in to to get some cloths for my new job and I was happy to see the quality of the cloths on offer at prices that I thought were quite reasonable. £27 for a pair of jeans. My only issue was that the store did not have many clothes for my size. I’m not a big guy but all the clothes for males were main size 34-40

Super friendly service, quick and easy! There is a store, a drive through and the plaza sells Starbucks as well. Variety of sandwiches and snacks for the tired travelers. They have an outdoor seating and it is great in warm weather. Easy access from M6! Highly recommend to recharge while on the road!

Careful when ordering on the map, I ordered northbound collection but it had gone to the southbound drive through. Instead of being helpful and making my coffee there (it is the same company after all) they told me I would have to walk over to the southbound drive through, which isn’t really very safe since there isn’t a way to get there on foot as it is designed for cars. Got there and they looked at my receipt and told me it was at northbound! But they made it anyway. Very confusing. Please can you make it clearer on the app and also your staff at northbound could be more helpful.

During my recent travels, I stumbled upon a delightful gem known as Bread & Butties. This charming spot offers an impressive array of cooked breakfasts that left me craving more. Over two consecutive days, I indulged in their expertly prepared meals featuring top-notch bacon and sausage, complemented by the best hash browns I've ever tasted! The friendly staff even accommodated my request for fried onions, making the experience all the more enjoyable. With a full breakfast including tea and toast priced at just £6.
Had a lovely full breakfast from here and not being a local I had to ask if oatcakes were what was made around here to which I was met with Sally and Sue. Cost £15 for the 2 breakfasts not worth the money sorry but will not be returning here. Had a far better breakfast at Asda the day before. all round disappointing .

Very tasty breakfast. Good selection of items. Clean, comfortable space to dine in.

I don't know how this place has such a high rating, had the worst bacon and cheese oatcake ever and the other half had a sausage and egg sandwich, the egg was over fried and chewy and the oatcake, well there was more grease than filling, disgusting 🤢
Lisa M — Google review
Food is lovely but poor value for a large breakfast which consisted of one sausage, one hash brown, beans, tomatoes one piece of bacon which cost £7.30. I’ve usually had breakfasts large in size with two of each item similar priced. Would not come here again unfortunately

Recently been visiting the area and came across Bread and Butties. Had 2 excellent cooked breakfasts two days running. One of the best breakfasts I have had in years! 😋 Well cooked and quality bacon and sausage. I have never eaten hash browns as good as these! My additional ask of fried onions was met and the whole breakfast including tea and toast cost £6.20!!!! I wish I lived here as I would definitely be a regular customer. Highly recommended and thank you to the ladies who cooked the breakfasts and served me. They were very welcoming and friendly. 👍🏻😁

Pretty rubbish really. I asked for ketchup but they covered my roll in brown sauce. Drove all the way back because I can’t stand brown sauce and told them, expecting them to say sorry, but all I got was “Okay”. I think she was just going to make me a new one without even apologising for wasting half an hour. Ended up getting a refund and going Wrights instead. Waste of time.

Morrisons Cafe is a delightful spot in Stoke on Trent that offers an impressive breakfast menu at fantastic prices. I opted for the small breakfast, which included a delicious combination of bacon, sausage, fried egg, half a tomato, hash brown, and beans—all served with two slices of toast and a steaming mug of coffee. The service was remarkably quick; my meal arrived just two minutes after ordering! The cafe boasts a spacious and clean environment with friendly staff to enhance your dining experience.
Barely had to wait 5 minutes for the food once ordered. Atmosphere is a bit bleak and was absolutely freezing but great food for its price. Cappuccino was a bit grim though

Had the worst breakfast here today . Toast was shallow and dry, no texture. Staff were extremely rude and horrible. All the cutlery were beyond disgusting. Scrambled Egg looked like mashed potato. Do yourself a favour and scramble out of here. Worst breakfast experience of my life. HOW CAN YOU MESS UP BREAKFAST. WHY IS THE MILK NOT IN A GLASS AND IN A PLASTIC PEPSI CUP. Thank you Morrisons mate outdone yourselves
Bassam S — Google review
I recently visited this café and was quite disappointed with the experience. There was only one machine available for hot drinks, and it took an actual two minutes to fill my cup—it just dripped out slowly. On top of that, there were no clean cups available, and the chips were overcooked. The service was severely lacking as well. All the staff seemed to be in the back, which meant the food wasn't cooked as well as it could have been and took longer to arrive. At one point, an elderly gentleman dropped a cup and struggled to bend down to pick it up, but no one was available to help him because the staff was not present in the dining area. To make matters worse, when I went to get a spoon for my dessert, I had to search for the cleanest one and ended up cleaning it myself before using it. This café could benefit from either more staff or better organization to ensure a smoother operation. Improvements in these areas would certainly enhance the overall experience for customers.

The absolute worst, dirtiest and scuttiest place I've ever eaten. To start off with, the table number was dirty and had sauce on. I picked up 8 mugs before I found a clean one. There is like a decade or more of GRIME on literally everything. You could have a cleaner make this place shine with a 2 day intensive cleaning, but no. It's clearly never cleaned. This isn't the kind of grime that builds up if it's EVER cleaned. It's NEVER cleaned. The wall trim is dirty. The tables are dirty. The rails are dirty for the trays. tHE TRAYS are CAKED in grime. This is the most sad and pathetic public eating space I have ever seen and I haven't even talked about the food. Whoever manages this cafe ought to be sacked and publicly shamed for their complete lack of humanity. The food is utter shlt. For example I ordered a bacon bap. The bacon was grey, discoloured and COLD. This was shortly after they opened on a Sunday morning. How do you do that? Serve off colour grey bacon that's cold? I have it back and received a lovely soggy microwaved replacement. Microwaved bacon. Shut this place down. Morrisons big wigs if you are reading this, this cafe is a shame on the company, it's a shame on Newcastle.

Great cafe in Stoke on Trent!! Spacious, clean and friendly staff. Ordered on a machine. Good food portions and we went in half term when there was an offer that kids eat free for adult meals over £4.99

I ordered the small breakfast which was £3.75. 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 fried egg, 1/2 tomato, 1 hash brown and beans. Served with 2 slices of toast & a mug of white coffee For £1.60. I'd just sat down and 2 mins later my breakfast was on the table piping hot and everything was spot on. Can't fault it. Definitely good value for money.

Bought a small breakfast on Sunday lunchtime. They had run out of hash browns and the assistant just expected me to know what I wanted instead. I mean really? The cafe has a supermarket attached to it! The cutlery was marked, there was egg shell in my fried egg, hairs in the yolk, mushrooms in my baked beans. The small breakfast doesn't come with mushrooms. The rind of fat was see through! The butter for the toast was salted and we weren't offered an alternative. The coffee was like nothing you've ever tasted. I'd like to give this less than one star.
Natasha W — Google review
Staff cheerful but over worked. Called at 11.30 on a Saturday morning when the cafe used to be heaving but not any more. Dirty tables, cold food with little thought on presentation. It's a shame because it used to be a vibrant place with hot sustaining food. Sainsbury offer a far better experience now so we'll be using them in future. You've lost a customer Morrisons Update: called in 6 months later and it's still rubbish..worse if anything!

Fab little coffee shop, that is very welcoming with a cosy atmosphere. Me and my partner come here regularly and my children also love to come here with us as well, we are a huge fan of the noodles and coffee. Lots to offer, including different flavour Oreos we like to try each week. Staff are really lovely and friendly, prices are great and would highly recommend. One of our fave places to come to and feel lucky to have such a fab place close by to us.

Popped in today for the first time. Ladies serving were all really helpful and smiley! Food is so yummy and reasonably priced. Very clean establishment! Thank you, we will be back!

This place just opened a few weeks ago and I thought I'd come and try. The 3 ladies in there were so friendly and welcoming to myself and my children! I can't believe this place is tucked away in Trent Vale, I'll definitely be coming back often! There's WiFi there too to work in and the decor/atmosphere is amazing. So much bubble tea to choose from I couldn't believe it.

We popped in last week in search of egg coffee (ca phe trung) unfortunately this is possibly the only coffee they don't serve. However this place is stunning, service is amazing, food is hot and cooked perfectly, the coffee range they have is diverse and most importantly the milkshakes are toddler approved! Must say this is the best place for coffee in stoke on trent

Fabulous visit here today with my daughter. We had ramen with 3 toppings, refreshing bubble tea and a gorgeous dessert at the end. Everything was delicious, staff were welcoming and friendly and it was a very relaxed visit. Can highly recommend and we will definitely return.

It was my first time visiting yesterday. we felt very welcomed. The server was very friendly. There was a great choice of drinks, cakes and sandwiches. We had breakfast, which was very nice, I have to say the coffee is of very good standard. And I'll look forward to visiting again.

Best boba in stoke hands down! The bubble coffees are amazing and the staff are always lovely. Not too crowded too so great place for studying or relaxing. The prices are such a bargain too. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

Today is my second time visiting the miss coffee. The first time I tried macha bubble tea and it was delicious. And I tried their cafe latte and scone today. It was amazing and they offered me a free cinnamon role which was unexpected. Everything was delicious and the staff are really friendly specially the guy who served my order (the gentleman wearing spectacles). I will definitely visit again❤.
