I have not been to the Boundary House since I was a regular in my early twenties thirty years ago. Great to go back. Looks like it has been refurbished and looking fabulous. The service from the pregnant lady and the shorter lady was excellent. Chatty, friendly and helpful. Our food was very tasty too and hot. Especially the mushroom chill. First time try of this and a hit!

We had such a great experience at the Boundary House! From the initial booking which was straightforward, to speaking with a lovely lady called Charlotte on the phone to check I could bring a cake in beforehand, which she was so accommodating and said they could store in their large fridge for us. Today 11 of us came for a birthday lunch for my 17 year old sister. We dropped off the cake and balloons this morning and Sarah & Kylie were so helpful and welcoming. When we all arrived for lunch, there was an excellent selection of drinks and the menu was also really good. We ordered our food, everything was in stock which was good, and it came out quickly, but not too quickly so we could all enjoy catching up and celebrating. The food was SO good! All of us cleared our plates, which for a big table to not have any issues I think is amazing. It all arrived at the same time too so we could eat together, a fantastic achievement for the kitchen staff. Another shout out to Kylie & Sarah, they were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. I think we’ve found our new place for family meals! Thank you all 🙂

Tracey was friendly and helpful, even though she was doing everything! 16 of us arrived to say farewell to my Dad. Food was delicious and delivered with a smile. We were made to feel welcome!

We had a meal yesterday and used the outbuilding,the music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak I asked for it to be turned down but nothing happened,the tables were filthy and the floor area was a disgrace,I would like to think when it was last cleaned,it was cold but our choice to eat outside didn't know how to use the heaters? couldn't bear to have another drink ,we always use this pub but very disappointed we must say.

Went here the other day with my parents to have a meal and a couple of drinks. A lovely pub garden with plenty of seating and inside has a really large space with plenty of seating areas and bar space. We sat towards the back as its slightly quieter at that end. The service at the bar was a bit slow, but to be expected on a Friday evening at the time we went. The Guinness was worth the wait though, a really good pint! The food was really good, fairly quick service and staff were friendly and helpful. I would visit again 👍

Place was very nice sat nav sent us the wrong way to where the car park was. Food was really lovely and great value for money, quick service. Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff.

I have been wanting to try the Flaming Grill challenge burger for a while... Interior ⭐️⭐️⭐️ For a branded pub it did impress me a little. It was almost like being in a converted barn. Service ⭐️ ⭐️ The guy behind the bar was super u welcoming, didn't seem at all interested in working there. When I ordered he simply said that's not availible to all my order without any apology or explanation. When I went back to place the order again the other guy (think manager) at least explained the situation about supply chains. The AA discount didn't work on the other offers in fact it added cost by removing the "2 for" offer. I had to point that out to them otherwise I would have paid it. Overall super disappointed in the team here. Food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ After half the menu was unavailable, so no challenge burger for me! We settled on fish and chips and hunters chicken. Both were okay, filled a hole etc but the chips were a bit chewy Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2 meals for like £10. Its a cheap eat! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed here for a night and regretted not staying longer! Such a cool place to stay and a lovely town! The restaurant was great (get the pizza!), and my bath in the claw tub after was even better! I will definitely return, all the way from Vegas

We had the most amazing wedding at the crown and thistle! From our first consultation all the way to the big day they were so easy to work with and nothing was to big of a problem. The barn is a lovely space and was just perfect for us, we had so many guests compliment how beautiful it looked. The staff on the day were amazing from the kitchen to the bar team we could not fault any of them, they worked so hard to make our day perfect. The Crown & Thistle were the perfect supplier and were easy to work with and made us both feel at ease on the day knowing they had every little detail under control. Thank you so much to the team for making our day so special!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - the service was lovely and made all the difference! The food was top-notch, especially the berry smoothies and pastries, and I appreciated how attentive the staff were. The hotel itself could use a bit of a spruce up, though; the décor felt quite tired and the tea and coffee facilities were pretty basic. But overall, I’m looking forward to another visit for the great food and friendly service!

Perfect location. Close to the river, town, and Abbey Gardens. Lovely courtyard area. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Bottled water in the room was welcome on a hot day. We visited when it was 30°c and the air conditioning worked well, although oddly, the towel rail in the bathroom was on. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Great, friendly service in the restaurant. The shared areas of the hotel could do with tidying up and feel a bit unloved. Which is a shame as the staff are real gems.

Stayed here for 1 night. Our room was very small and dark . The view out of the tiny window was of a wall and rubbish. The corridors need painting as marks and chips everywhere. The stair carpet was no better, threadbare and strained. The whole hotel side needs updating and a deep clean. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and clean. We wouldn't return for a 2nd stay unfortunately.

What a find! An outstanding breakfast in a very well presented town pub/hotel. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little bit special to help start the day the right way. Delicious

We recently got married at the Crown and Thistle- we had both the ceremony and the reception there. From the start, communication was very straightforward both from the central team (thank you Imani) but also the staff at the venue- especially the restaurant manager and Greg. Staff were very knowledgeable and helped answer our queries including several last minute guest and dietary requirement changes. The barn was the perfect size for us and is very charming and rustic so needs minimal decorating. We had so many comments on how good the food was and it was very easy to hire our own suppliers e.g. band. It's great that there are rooms available for guests, we had no issues with ours, but just a note that they are not suitable for disabled guests as all require access from several flights of stairs and uneven floors. We had a brilliant day- thank you to all the staff. If you're looking for a barn this is a very reasonably-priced option with a great intimate feeling.

Played a gig there on the 18th October. As always the team were very helpful and there is a great, friendly atmosphere. It was a very busy evening, but the team coped well. Well worth a visit and they have a great selection of beers.

The smokehouse at this pub was excellent. Large portions, great value and full of flavour. Staff were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Went to Abingdon/Oxford for a weekend and dropped into this place. Absolutely buzzing with superb choice of ales, although we'd eaten the food that was coming out looked great. Clean loos and great service.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. The service was very special and Cass made our evening. The food is very generous in portion. And very tasty. Lots to chose from but the Hot Smokes Salmon was spectacular as were my friends ribs and mac and cheese.

We went for a meal unexpectedly …. The service was excellent, the food delicious, large portions and reasonable prices. Served us with a smile and efficiently despite being busy inside and mayhem on the street during the world famous Abingdon longest street fair.

Perfect location to town. Beautiful appointed rooms. Although no cooked breakfast available the pantry was stocked with loads of lovely breakfast items and had a great coffee machine. Even had oak milk available. Lovely pub downstairs with very helpful staff.

My experience at the brewery tap was fantastic from beginning to end. The staff are extremely accommodating, Pawel was especially brilliant. I’d recommend this pub to anyone thirsty or hungry in the Abingdon area. A particular highlight was the appearance of red stripe on tap - a rarity these days.

2025/02 Amazing coffee shop with fantastic homemade pastries! The pastries were fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax. Even though I didn’t order coffee, I still had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for pastry lovers!

A nice cycling stop on my bike ride. Great location on the market square, plenty of inside and outside seats. No bicycle rack nearby that I could see, but a couple of lampposts and metal benches outside to lock up to. Food decent if a bit pricey, £18 for a sausage roll, cake and iced coffee. Staff very friendly!

Ive been a customer of Java and co for over 10 years. I have always found the staff polite, helpful and friendly. Today I ran in quickly with my potty training toddler to use the toilet. They must be under new ownership as the abhorrent behaviour from their staff today would have never happened previously. The staff aggressively suggested there were chemicals all over the toilet and if I had it on me, it was my fault for using it. The shop was open for customers who come and go from the toilets, so why were they leaving chemicals everywhere? (It didnt smell clean enough to have had chemicals everywhere) I explained my potty training child desperately needed the toilet, an older lady started yelling that I am not a customer so im not allowed to use their toilet. Backtracking regarding the chemicals after understanding it was my daughter who used the toilet, she then proceeded to screech at me whilst im holding my toddler. I walked out as found this quite embarrassing and inappropriate infront of my child. I imagine that telling me there were dangerous chemicals all over the toilet was a form of "pay back" for using their toilet without asking. Just in case this was true, I have reported this to the HSE as very basic COSHH standards suggest cleaning chemicals to be used in a controlled way. It is an act of malpractise to leave dangerous chemicals on surfaces without correct PPE or signage in place.

Java has very quickly become my absolute FAVOURITE place for coffee, and/or pastries. The staff are so friendly, and welcoming. They always remember a face, and are dog and LGBTQIA+ friendly. I can’t speak highly enough of the food here, it really is amazing. It has a real home made feel and really stands apart from your average coffee shop/cafe. (Really good coffee too!) They also sell lovely soap and oils that are divine, and really make your skin GLOW. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We had one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a cafe. My family and I visited Java Cafe and spent over £80 on food and drinks, choosing to sit outside. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area was swarming with bees, making it impossible to eat comfortably. Strangely, the bee problem seemed to be isolated to this cafe — other nearby places didn’t have this issue. We politely asked for takeaway boxes so we could safely take our food away, and we were more than happy to pay extra for the packaging. Considering how much we had already spent, it wasn’t about money — we simply wanted to enjoy our food safely. Instead of helping, the staff — including who we believe to be the manager or owner — became hostile. She accused us of taking things without paying, spoke rudely to my sister, and when I calmly confronted her about how unnecessary and disrespectful her attitude was, she denied everything and said, “I don’t have time for this.” The entire atmosphere turned cold. No one offered help, an apology, or any attempt to de-escalate the situation. We left feeling disrespected, humiliated, and completely let down by how we were treated — especially after supporting a local independent business with such a large order. This wasn’t about bees or boxes — it was about basic respect and customer service, which were both sorely lacking. We won’t be returning, and I would urge others to think twice before visiting.

I have been a loyal and regular customer for a considerable time, making it a point to visit every Saturday and Sunday. My patronage has always been consistent; I frequently enjoy your pizza and coffee, sometimes placing more than one order in a single day.Today, I arrived at 11:00 AM and ordered a coffee and a slice of cake. I was quietly reading and enjoying the atmosphere, as I often do. However, at approximately 1:30 PM, I was approached by the owner, who loudly inquired if I was going to order anything else. Her tone and volume were such that it drew the attention of everyone else in the coffee shop, leaving me feeling singled out and uncomfortable.I tried to explain that I had simply become engrossed in my book and gently reminded her that I am one of her most regular customers. Her response was that she was within her rights to ask me to order more, regardless of my history as a patron.While I understand the commercial need to ensure tables are available for new customers, the manner in which this situation was handled was deeply unprofessional and discourteous, especially that the shop was empty and plenty of tables were available for other customers, a loyal customer to be treated with such a lack of discretion and respect is truly disheartening. This experience has unfortunately tainted my view of a place I once considered a weekend sanctuary.

Nice location and the food and coffee were good. Dog friendly, which is nice. The only thing that let it down was the lackluster service. The staff were more interested in taking amongst themselves than engaging with customers and looked throughly miserable.

We’re proud to be locals, and we’ve truly never seen this place better—Ian has completely transformed it! The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy. Boogie Bingo on Thursdays is an absolute blast, and the Tuesday Quiz Night is always a highlight of our week. We popped in for Easter Sunday and were blown away—hands down the best steak I’ve ever had in here! Huge compliments to the new chef, Lewis—he’s a fantastic addition to the team. This place just keeps getting better! Ian, my Dad would get on so well with you and would love what you’ve done to his 2nd home! ❤️

What a great pub…. Staff are very friendly and polite, the pub itself is spotless and looks great. Food and drink also excellent. We attended the closing summer party a great night was had by all, staff were very busy but still smiling ☺️

Ever so the change over myself and I believe a fair few of the locals can see what a brilliant change Ian & team have done to the pub. Not only are the events a lot better, the atmosphere is always immaculate and the food is to a good quality. Staff are friendly. Would absolutely recommend this establishment.

This is an MG Midget themed pub with lots of history and bits of MGs on the walls. The food is fairly standard chain pub food, but has some excellent value daytime value items on offer. They also seem to run a loyalty scheme which would be good if you live locally. Supply chain problems meant that few white wines were on offer at the time of our visit.

Booked here for a memorial day. Was really well looked after. Ian and his staff took care of all of our needs for the day. Buffet was great and service from the bar was excellent. Highly recommend

Been here a few times now, sometimes for a quick coffee and sometimes for a brunch / lunch. Every time, I have been welcomed by cheery friendly staff who are always willing to help. The place generally has a very positive vibe. There is ample seating inside and out. Outside you have to be aware that the seating isn't directly in front and a bit to the right facing outside. We had one time where our food orders took 20+mins and they'd forgotten one of our orders which was a tad disappointing given the reviews but perhaps it was a bad day so willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. You have to order at the counter and they bring food the the table. Most times I've usually had a hot drink. Coffee is good, not life changing but does the trick. Food is so-so. I've ordered a few things from sandwiches to paninis and what's been disappointing is the lack of oopmh / seasonings / garnishes / salads. For example, going the other week I ordered a chicken and chorizo sandwich, which while nice, it was just that on the plate and nothing else. For the price, I would have expected a small side salad or crisps to eat with it. Other than the above, as a small cafe serving good food and drinks can't really go wrong and will probably be visiting again.

Extremely friendly staff. My fiancee took me here for my last breakfast in abingdon. We got tea and scones that had clotted cream and jam. It was so delicious and way better than any scone i have ever had in America. Definitely have to come back on my next visit!

Lovely little cafe where I had lunch in the midst of wonderful weather. I think, England has such cute, little cafes all around which not only look good but they serve amazing food as well. We had chicken sandwiches, ham sandwiches with onions & mozarella cheese and was amazing. I am finding these cafes really beautiful. I'd love to come back here again. And again.

This delightful family run cafe is one of the most friendly, comfortable and welcoming cafes I've visited in years! The cappuccino and hot chocolate was served piping hot and with a warm smile. I sipped my coffee whilst lounging on a very engulfing sofa. The venue is scrupulously clean and tastefully decorated with beautiful pictures and vintage items. I look forward to returning soon ☺️

My first time there and fancied a relaxing coffee. Service was excellent, my cappuccino was also super. The pace is clean and airy and has lovely furniture. Bliss! Then the manager decided to sit an employee down near me and have an awkward and patronising chat with him. What made it worse was that her voice was about twice the volume of anyone else in the cafe. Next time, please either lower the volume or choose a less busy time for HR chats! I left.

What a super local bistro, superb coffee;roasted locally. A hearty breakfast with a large coffee for just over £10, superb value. Highly recommended and a great change from the multinational coffee houses. Keep it local

Just ordered a baguette just prior to lunch ASI thought I'd get in early. £5 for a weedy looking microwaved baguette.... Shockingly bad! Surprising considering there are so many other coffee shops near by. I'll try the others next time. Only 2 stars as the staff were pleasant.

There are so many coffee shops in the square in Abingdon. I counted six almost next door to each other. Seems far better to go to one of the independently run shops rather than a chain like Costa but if you prefer Costa of have a loyalty bonus then worth going. There’s also another Costa just 50 yards down the road towards the river.

Noisily scraping every single chair across the floor to sweep under them drowned out our conversation and the background music. We visited over the Easter bank holiday mid-afternoon for a relaxing catch-up but a staff member sweeping the floor moved every chair in turn by dragging them across the floor so they made a loud scraping sound, then dragging them back into position again. This went on for more than 20 minutes as she moved every single chair in the café and it was still 3 hours until closing time. The mocha was watery and tasteless too. The armchairs are uncomfortable because they slope backwards, so if you sit back in them you are left looking up at the ceiling and the only way to have a conversation with the person sitting opposite you is to sit forward leaving you with no back support.

The staff are consistently friendly and efficient. A fuss is always made of dogs. They keep it very clean and tidy.

A nice a great place for coffee lovers with great n quick services. Location is perfect in corner giving hall n street view . Apart from great coffee do try these cheese n tomato sandwich. Recommended!!

Hard to describe the experience I had here. I ordered a milkshake and was served what was basically just a glass of milk with flavouring. It arrived together with the other two drinks my table ordered, with no explanation of which was which, leaving us to guess whose drink was whose. The price you pay for the food does not match the quality we received, overcooked chips and hash browns. The service was equally disappointing; the staff member seemed determined to set a record for the least possible customer interaction. Overall, dreadful.

Been coming to coffee aroma for over a year now lovely people who work here never a problem brilliant food as well

This morning, two of us visited your café, Coffee Aroma. According to the menu, a Full English Breakfast was listed at £8.50 per portion. We ordered two Full English Breakfasts, one coffee, and a cup of hot water. However, when we paid, the total was £23.80. We asked the staff about the pricing, and she told us that one English breakfast costs £10, the coffee was £3.80, and the hot water was free. We were confused and went back to our seats to double-check the prices on the menu. A little later, another staff member brought us our food. I asked her again about the price difference, and she said she would get back to us with an explanation. Unfortunately, she never came back, even after we finished eating. This experience left us feeling quite uncomfortable. It's not about the amount of money—it’s the fact that the prices on the menu did not match what we were charged. That feels misleading and dishonest. We hope you will look into this matter seriously and ensure that your menu accurately reflects the actual prices charged.

First time here last week with my mum and 4 year old and it was lovely. Felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Full English was great, omelette was delicious and good coffee. Will definitely be returning!

A standard independent cafe in the middle of Abingdon. The breakfast was ok, not overly filling but did the job. Tasty parts, cold parts, standard .The tea is standard, and the service was equally ok. Overall, standard cafe, no thrills or spills

I visited in my lunch hour today. The atmosphere was light and airy and there was a very friendly vibe, with lots of clearly happy customers . The manager Michael made time to speak to everyone . He asked me if I had enjoyed my food and said I was welcome back anytime . I had eggs on toast , which was a special request , not on the menu, and an Americano. The coffee was gorgeous. It came to under £8.00 . I plan to visit regularly

Cheap meals for insanely affordable prices. Had my first Full English breakfast here. Portions were large and ended up going a second day to try their omelette. Highly reccommend

Crumbs are lovely in every way! Today they really went above and beyond as I had asked them to write a note on my partners food as he's been struggling and I thought they might just put have a nice day or enjoy your food but they wrote such a heartfelt message and it brought my partner to tearing up. We love crumbs and I've enjoyed their food for years now. Always my go to! Such lovely people doing a lovely thing🫶

Gone here a few times over the last year. My order has just never been right. Feel cheated out of a bit of cash each time a go. Hatrick burger with barely any onion (literally just a triple cheeseburger then but more expensive), double big mac with one patty instead of 4, not enough cheese dippers, etc... nothing I can't forgive in isolation, but the fact that every time I collect my drive through and get home I always feel cheated out of money. It's just not good and I'll be making the detour to a further away one in the future.

I ordered a sprite and tell me why it’s a musty pinkish brownish colour? There is no cleanliness here. On top of that the lady who took my order was rude - not a very fun and enjoyable experience. Don’t usually ever come to this McDonalds and surely won’t be coming back.

The food here is terrible, and always for drive through. It happened a few times. In my McSpicy box, they put in the cheaper McChicken sandwich. Don’t know if they did this intentionally for drive-through because people don’t check what’s in the box there and then, and can’t be bothered to drive all the way back to correct the order. The chips are just not cooked, soft and soggy, and somebody forgot to put salt on it.

Nice place to be in, Drive through is also available. But shame the font deliver food in Wantage. But over all nice place. And one more thing like in India the serve aloo tikki burgers why not here. Increasing little veg option would be nice

I don't expect good food or atmosphere but it would be nice to get what you ordered and paid for. We realised when we got in the car that 2 drinks were missing. Went back and got them and then when we got home it turned out my grandson 's dessert was missing. Not the first time

started off nice and normal, however was rudely interrupted from my Philly cheese stack by SOPHIE AND SARAH. May I add I felt targeted and threatened by the two. Very appalling behaviour from the 2 of them would like to see some sort of compensation/ punishment in place

Most people will agree with this review. The team who packs delivery orders needs to be investigated After many many attempts every order is incorrect i could maybe handle missing a small items like chips. But main items like the premium burgers is shocking. But its okay u will get your refund back in 15 days.! Manager need to actually lead a successful team and stop being scared to approach there staff who are failing at such simple tasks would rather drive extra 20mins to a better site. Thumbs up if this has also happened to you.

This is, very much, a review of two halves. The good: the food was tasty (we had two mini farmhouse breakfasts). The bacon was gorgeous and nicely smoked, beans weren't dry, the toast made with fresh farmhouse bread (if anaemic for my preference). The building is new, purpose built and spacious with tables on two floors. Several highchairs for families. The staff we spoke to were friendly. The not so good: the place lacks character, the unadorned walls are a bit sterile. The service was disappointing, it took 20 minutes to get drinks (an apple juice and pot of tea). There were no vessels so the server fetched a glass, and then had to be asked for a cup for the tea! The food arrived after 50 minutes. A quick visit for breakfast this was not! Value for money? Not really. Two mini breakfasts, pot of tea and an apple juice will set you back over £18. The price point is a little high, even for good quality ingredients. But given the area and size of the vehicles outside, it's not necessarily too bad for their clientele. Would I recommend them? Yes, for the food. It's certainly a yummy treat and hopefully you won't have the wait.

Wonderfull place that i knew a long time ago, when i was a french au pair in a family in Steventon . I went to this place by bike and bought very often, the delicious barmbrack cake . Thank you for the reminds !

Excellent breakfast. Amazing modern oak timber building. Great to be able to see the kitchens. Plenty of people popping in for bread and also food.

Truly delicious - warm chocolate brownie with cream. Having watched the bakery being built over the past few months it was not disappointing to finally visit. A beautifully crafted building and of course delicious cakes. What a treat!

What a lovely cafe... the food was freshly baked/prepared that day. The quiche was excellent, so tasty with a "melt in the mouth" texture. The flapjacks were great (not rock solid) and the staff were super friendly. I opted for tea and my children had coffeez. Apparently iced coffee is rarely asked for, but the staff were keen and made it. It is not the cheapest but definitely worth it. The building is lovely too. I will go back and happy to recommend a quaint cafe!

Recently opened establishment in a nice new building. Inside is spacious and airy, nicely furnished in a rustic style, but somehow lacking a bit of character. Perhaps some flowers on tables or art on walls would help. I'm sure the location will develop its character over time. Staff were friendly but seemed to still be finding their feet and needing cohesion.. again time will be their friend here! We arrived there at around 1pm for lunch. The menu is adequate but not extensive, and we were a little disappointed there wasn't an all-day-breakfast option; but we enjoyed our choices of the Farmhouse Platter and Open Smoked Salmon Sandwich . The coffee was particularly good too! There were a couple of minor issues we noted which I will pass on in a direct email to the owners. Overall we were happy with our visit and will definitely return and recommend to friends. Not quite a 5 star place yet, but definitely has the potential!

Not actually part of Tesco but located in the store this cafe is a great little asset. A decent food menu with cakes and bakes and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Large seating area with pleasant aesthetics makes for a decent atmosphere for a supermarket cafe. Free Wi-Fi available same network as in store, PowerPoints available if you need to do some work on a laptop too. Staff are welcoming and friendly, the cafe was clean and well maintained on my visit. Don’t forget to use your club card as you can collect points on all purchases. Based on this experience I would be happy to recommend.

I just went to Tesco and did some shopping then sat in the cafe with my kids. I bought babyccinos for my kids. Then the girl working there came and said I couldn't sit there. She said I had to get something to drink or eat if I wanted to sit. I go to this cafe all the time. But this was the first time I've been treated so rudely.

Breakfast is passable if not a little bland, but staff are friendly. Been here twice un a month as the old man was getting his cataracts done at the eye clinic next door and both times my biggest problem with the place is that it's been freezing inside. There's a bloke opposite me and I can see his breath when he talks to his wife and everyone in here has coats and scarves on. It's minus bloody 6 outside, put the heaters on would you? Ta x

How can you get the bacon so undercooked and hash browns incinerated like this on the same plate? Oh, and they got my order wrong twice. I wouldn't eat here again.

Limited drink options. There is no table service to maintain cleanliness of the tables, chairs, and floor. Tables are sticky, and chairs still have food remnants. While I appreciate the hard work of the current staff, it is the management's responsibility to ensure there is enough staff to uphold a high standard of service.

Stopped off here for a bite to eat on a road trip. Staff were polite and helpful. Speedy service too. I had the vegan sausage bap which was very delicious (I'm not vegan btw). I would definitely have that again. Would be 5 stars but minus 1 for filthy Cup. Shame.

Unfortunately, this was the worst branch of Costa we've had the misfortune to use, I usually take some negative reviews with a pinch of salt, but I wish I'd taken notice here. When we entered, there were a lot of tables with dirty pots, I assumed this was possible lack of staff issue, when in the queue I noticed 5 staff members, one dealing with the drive through, 1 on counter duties, 2 other females seemingly fawning over a male member of staff whilst doing nothing, I also made the mistake of ordering a flat white which was the most bitter awful tasting one, with a pile of froth on top. Whilst we sat this lack of work ethnic continued unabated. Also if you are unfortunate to end up here make sure you put your registration in the parking touchscreen

I thought drive-through was meant to be quick, around 20 minutes sat in the drive-through, been given wrong orders, rude staff, wouldn’t visit again

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Polish woman was very rude on 16/08/2021 along with another woman and a man that was serving! Hot drinks were cold! Muffin was hard and dry. Large queues because they had shut the shop multiple days due to a broken coffee machine although we didn’t want coffee. No reason to close shop and not allow seating area. Making a disabled member of my family walk down the drivethru as there was no alternative way to get drinks. Was also here before 8pm when they say they should close anyway! Costa should be really proud! NOT

Great place for a coffee, allows dogs and very efficient and clean. They also have a large outside space.

The perfect place for a social chat, dog petting, hot and cold drinks and immaculate food. I spend the majority of my time and cash here due to the friendly atmosphere. Even If your having a bad day this is the place to go to

I have been to this cafe a couple of times with an old friend of mine. They serve very tasty milkshakes . But most importantly, my friend loves visiting this place and truely enjoys the atmosphere here . For someone who is elderly and disabled, having a coffee here definitely brightens his day. So thank you!

What an absolute gem of a place! Went in with friends and family today, had 2 amazingly delicious fruit smoothies, and a blueberry and pear galette, which was oh so good (made on the premises). They have a great range of homemade cakes, smoothies, milkshakes, in a relaxing and spacious environment, with great staff. Highly recommended!
