Pom & Flora is a beloved brunch spot in Stockholm, known for its loyal following and popularity among bloggers. The cafe offers an extensive weekend brunch menu featuring a variety of breads, scones, cheeses, hams, eggs, marmalades, Greek yogurt, nuts, fruits and freshly pressed juices at reasonable prices. With a focus on quality and friendly service, Pom & Flora has established itself as a must-visit in the city's brunch scene.
Best breakfast we had in Stockholm in our four day visit. Eggs on Toast with avocado were the highlight. The pickled chilli's (delicious!), the bread, and the fresh Avocado made them perfect. Açai & Berry smoothie bowl was really good as well. I might add a bit of sweet to it (didn't ask for honey but if they do have it that would give it a nice touch). Nutella Croissant with banana and the cinnamon roll were fresh and delicious. Best part is that this is an all day breakfast place so you can get your breakfast anytime they are open (we always had late mornings in this trip, so this came handy).
Sergio H — Google review
Super delicious place for breakfast or brunch. The portion sizes are sometimes a little bit smaller, but still by far enough. The prices are fair and everything we‘ve tried was really really good.
Smon — Google review
A place I visit often. They serve healthy and delicious food. Generally, anything you order is tasty, but personally I was satisfied with all the porridge varieties. The space itself is pretty, but seating is cramped and the inside feels noisy, like sound echoes.. Recommend if you want tasty food, but not recommend if you want to chat with someone for a long time.
H.H K — Google review
Absolutely amazing place for brunch. It is a must must try if you are in Stockholm!! Banana bread with peanut has no words, really amazing. It is a drop in place so you cannot make a reservation unfortunately. I tried banana split, focaccia bread, banana bread with peanut butter and kaffe latte.
Harnesh A — Google review
Stumbled across this place by accident, but it looked very nice aesthetically. The staff are very friendly with a warm smile. The food is great and presented well, and I didn’t have to wait so long for it. Will definitely be back here for some lovely breakfast. 💫
Viktor L — Google review
Suchhhh good breakfast food, and a very nice atmosphere. Lots of seating options and nice staff. You have to order at the counter but I don’t really mind that. I had the açai bowl which looks a bit meh in the picture because I stirred it already but it was sooo fresh and tasty!! Our oracle told us many great and also some not so great things #squarenapkinsforthewin
DiDiDee — Google review
Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. Waited 30 mins to be seated and paid 405 kroner. The açai bowl is inedible. Somehow tasteless and also tastes off. The egg on toast was so average and tasteless too. Coffee is fine but comes in a small cup and wasn’t really a cappuccino. Looks pretty but does not taste it. Would not recommend!
F N — Google review
One of Stockholm’s cosiest cafés, perfect for brunch! There’s a reason you’ll always see a que outside - few places in Stockholm offer as good food for as fair prices. Both their sandwiches and oatmeal are something out of the ordinary and the selection of coffees and tees is also good.

Greasy Spoon in Stockholm's Sodermalm district is a popular spot for a reasonably priced breakfast or brunch. The cafe offers a modern take on the classic British cafe with stylish decor, including herringbone floors and London-themed wallpaper. Run by two British friends, it's known for its hearty full English breakfast, pancakes, muesli, and other breakfast options.
Food was really good! The bread was nicely toasted and the egg was cooked just right, runny yolk and all. Tough it was a bit pricey for the portion. Tasty Eggs Benedict, but you don’t get much for the price (119 kr half, 225 kr full). Chai Latte was a pleasant surprise, 100% natural, which you don’t see often in the city. At 59 kr, I’d say it’s a solid deal. Service was good! Super friendly staffs. I got the vibe it might be a family, or friend-run place, and I love that! It always feels more personal and relaxed. Atmosphere was simple but cozy, with a bit of a British café feel. Nice place to sit and enjoy your brunch.

There is qr code that u can scan it first and write ur name on waiting list, this is super easier way to get a table. we waited around 20 min around neighbourhood and when our table is ready we got an information. When we gave our orders, we quickly got the drinks and then waited more than 30 min for our breakfast this was so annoying. Finally they bring the orders actually they all under our expectations. And after waited more than 30 min on my order they forget the breads when I told this, she looked so hopeless and not understand :) Only pancakes was so good we couldnt finish the others. Staff was kind and helpfull. The everything is pricey
Seyda G — Google review
Came here on a weekend for breakfast. Having seen some amazing reviews on Google, we decided to give it a go. The place is walkable from gamla stan. It was quite busy when we arrived. But we got the table pretty quick. The staffs are super friendly and and helpful. It has a good rustic ambience. I found the food to be okay and the quantity was decent.
Satyajit D — Google review
Cute and cozy brunch/coffee spot. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout, food was tasty and prices as well as portion sizes were fair. Crowd is mixed, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere.
FlxRn — Google review
Delicious brunch spot! Great menu options which make it hard to choose. Iced latte was on point and the waffles and chicken and breakfast burrito were a hit. Chill vibe, friendly staff make it an easy recommendation.
Claire D — Google review
went early in the morning so there was no queue thank God but did have to wait around 10-15minutes to be seated. everything inside is cool! I loved the vibes! the food was not bad too, the pancakes could've been ... nicer I guess but it was interesting! Never had pancakes like this before 🥞🥞🥞 I love how liberal it is in here ❤️
Zee — Google review
We went to this Greasy Spoon for a late breakfast and got a table right away. What was really, really nice was the staff — they were super attentive and polite, and we really felt well taken care of. The one star I’m taking off is only because, while the food was incredibly tasty and super fresh, the portion size was quite small for the price. So even though the quality and service were great, I probably wouldn’t go back.

STHLM Brunch Club is a popular cash-free eatery in Stockholm that offers a casual and hearty breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience. Located on Dalagatan 24, it has become one of the best spots in the city for locals to enjoy a leisurely brunch well into the afternoon. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes including avocado toasts, acai bowls, and fresh smoothies alongside espresso drinks, brunch cocktails, and homemade lemonades.
The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the Red Egg and the Smashed Avocado, both dishes were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The overall experience was smooth as well; we only had to wait around 10 minutes thanks to the virtual queue system, which made things really convenient. Great service, great food. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and enjoyable brunch.
Daoud Y — Google review
Worth the hype! We got the house special spicy benedicts (with halloumi) + texas chilli breakfast burrito (from the specials menu). Both were so, so good. Definitely worth queueing. If you manage to arrive before 10:30 I think you’ll actually find little to no queue, but then it gets really crowded - and again, I can see why! 🤌🏼
Irina C — Google review
We are from London and can confirm the food was very lovely despite attending an hour before closing. The waitresses were amazing and helpful in every aspect. The food was great and good value for money. My friends would agree. I would personally avoid the French toast, too sweet and not really that appealing. Besides that I would come here a lot if I were a local. So a 9/10 for sure. Stick to the savoury options. Another thing to keep in mind, the wait time to enter was about 45 mins. So be prepared to wait a while
Ali B — Google review
We had to queue for some time to get in, but it was totally worth it. The dishes were really good, flavorful and well planned. The service was really friendly.
Vaino V — Google review
Very nice brunch spot! Everything was really good, from the drinks to the pancakes and Benedict eggs. The sweet and drink of the months were simply perfect. I highly recommend this place ☺️
Chloe C — Google review
The food was great, the drinks were alright. My biggest issue was the timing. We ordered coffee and mimosas and somehow our entrées arrived before anything else. When I go to brunch, I want to drink and relax, not get rushed out the door (while common in the US, this is not the experience I've come to expect from Europe). Another minor thing - the carafe the orange juice is served in for the mimosa pitcher should really have a spout or some other shape that doesn't make it spill when you pour. Again, the food was great - but it's the lacking details that give it 4 rather than 5 stars.
Ella B — Google review
This was one of my favorite places in Stockholm. I loved the environment, friendly service, and the food was incredible as well. We were blown away by the acai bowl, bagel, and pistachio pancakes, which are worth coming back every day for. Will always return when I'm around.
Indigo V — Google review
Very delicious food and vivid environment. Although this place has professional staff and fast service, I had to stay around an hour in the queue. Fortunately the queue is online so you can join the queue and go for a walk. I ordered BC Brekkie plate. It was colorful and tasty definitely recommend it. For the drink I had mangorango and I liked it. The queue must be somewhere on the website: https://waitlist.carbonaraapp.com/qr/Sverige/Stockholm/STHLM-Brunch-Club/

Café Pascal is a charming coffee shop located in the heart of Stockholm, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with country-style decor. Run by the Seropian siblings, this café has expanded to include its own coffee roastery. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes such as grilled cheese, donburi with black rice, and an array of pastries including croissants with bergamot or pistachio praline.
Decent coffee shop in Stockholm. Food was great. We loved the coffee there. The atmosphere was lively. I would strongly recommend this place to coffee lovers. Their cinnamon bun was out of this world crazy.
Vivekananda B — Google review
Absolutely love this spot! Their pastries are incredible, and the espresso drinks are top-notch. I'm a huge fan of their flat whites and lattes. It can get a little busy, especially at peak times, but I've been back at least five times since my first visit and I'm still a huge fan.
Rishab N — Google review
Café Pascal is such an amazing spot! The atmosphere inside is super cozy and inviting — the perfect place to enjoy a good coffee and some pastries. It can get a bit crowded at times (which just shows how popular it is!), but it’s absolutely worth it. The pastries are incredible — the pistachio croissant is an absolute must-try! Everything feels fresh and made with care. Definitely one of my favorite cafés in town.
Augustin H — Google review
No trip to Stockholm is complete without Fika, so we queued up at Café Pascal (even before 10 am, it’s busy!). There was so much deliciousness on offer, we couldn’t help ourselves. Our final selection included Pistachio danish, an apple pastry and ham and egg croissant. The apple one nailed it but the others were superb!
Lucy W — Google review
Best of the best spot for a snack or especially for breakfast ! The pastries are simply outstanding. If you get the chance to try the vanilla roll, go for it but it sells out quickly ! The cinnamon one is also delicious, and the pistachio too. The coffees are great, and there’s bread and butter as well as different kinds of milk in self-service, which is a really nice touch. On the salty side, 10/10 for the avocado & egg toast (really well executed and fuuuull of flavor). The little egg sandwich isn’t the one to go for, nothing special there. Matcha is good too ! Seats fill up quickly unfortunately since the place is popular, but the service is super friendly and above all efficient !!
Le P — Google review
🥐Feel like the pastries are quite too glazed or too hard and thick than it’s supposed to be, but this could be a preference thing. The pistachio pastry was good in the soft inside but a bit too sweet for me, and the chocolate wienerbröd was too bitter and hard than it’s supposed to be for some reason. ☕️okay aroma, a bit sour. 😌mysiga vibes. I like the cozy interior, not much tables, a view able to see kids playing. ✨overall I’ll come here for
이랑 — Google review
I love this café. You can sit outside on the terrace or choose from plenty of seats inside. The coffee was excellent and the pastries were genuinely stunning. Service is friendly, great spot for a slow morning, light lunch, or a takeaway coffee on the go.

I visited this cafe twice while spending a weekend in Stockholm. I really enjoyed the pistachio pastry (not pictured unfortunately) and the kanelbulle! The cheese and egg croissant was very good too. The staff are super friendly and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy nice weather.

Gast Café is a chic and modern cafe in Stockholm that offers specialty drinks, savory brunch fare, pancakes, and porridge. It is known for its world-class coffee from various renowned roasters. The cafe has received praise for its fantastic brunch menu and perfectly brewed coffee. Customers have also appreciated the excellent service provided by the staff. The ambiance of the cafe adds to the overall experience, with a nice vibe and friendly English-speaking staff who are helpful in placing orders.
Worth the walk! We walked from the ship terminal to Gast and i'm glad we did. They had really nice friendly staff, easy to use English, cozy inside, great accomodating for allergies and could swap in and out ingredients. I enjoyed my matcha and eggs benedict and got inspired to poach eggs in the future. What could be better would be bigger gluten free toast or to double that portion, also the toilet seat was a little dirty and no hand soap.
Jessika — Google review
Super popular brunch spot with a great vibe and lots of customers. Even though there was a long line, we didn’t have to wait for a table because there’s plenty of seating. The food was really tasty, drinks came out fast, and the lady at the counter was very kind, making it overall a great experience!
Seboek E — Google review
I’m a big fan of specialty coffee, and unfortunately, this café didn’t quite meet my expectations in that regard. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk (56kr), which tasted more like warm milk than coffee and took a bit longer than expected to arrive. I didn’t try any of the food, so I can’t comment on that aspect. The service felt somewhat impersonal — the young staff seemed busy and focused on delivering orders, but there wasn’t much interaction or warmth. The space itself was crowded and quite noisy, which may appeal to those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, but it wasn’t really for me. Overall, it’s probably a better spot for people looking for a bustling café environment rather than a specialty coffee experience.
Alex ( — Google review
Nice place, good food, very busy on the weekends, a bit hard to find a table. Service could be a bit more welcoming :) Still came here a couple of times, as all was good and tasty. Coconut brownies - to die for!
Tatiana R — Google review
Sooooo good! Went there 3 days in a row. Lunch and brunch were both amazing. Crispy chicken bowl is spicy, so you know. Avocado toast was crazy good. Matcha was the best I had in a while. Prices are normal for Stockholm. Greetings from Slovenia. 🤎
Hana V — Google review
Matcha: 4/10, there were clumps and it tasted milky. Left a bit to be desired. Had higher expectations and needs to be whisked or sifted better Cheesecake: 7,10 good but its a little expensive 62 sek overall had a good atmosphere and the other food sounds delicious
May J — Google review
Conclusion: not worth the hype. The pancake itself is good, but way too little banana and way too much Nutella, not a good balance, makes you feel too heavy very soon. Good interior but the tables are way too close, therefore way too crowded and noisy, not chill at all.
Faye L — Google review

One must-try dish is their 7 'Danish Breakfast,' featuring levain bread paired with butter, cheese, and homemade marmalade—a perfect start to your day!
Lovely bakery. It’s very popular, might have a queue for order but there are many seatings so you can will find a place to sit and no need to wait for too long. Love everything we ordered, the coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and yogurt. Definitely recommended. The outdoor seating area is nice when the weather is good.

Really cool coffee shop serving baked goods and breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed and you order at the counter. Everyone speaks English and the staff is very polite and helpful. I really liked the merch they sell too, we went there three days in a row while visiting Stockholm. If the weather is nice I’d recommend sitting outside for some people watching.

Stopped by this bakery in the way to Gamla Stan and there was cue but it went by fast and we were able to find seating also. There are also many tables outside if it’s not too cold. The pastry, bread was very delicious.., will return again ! Editing to note we came twice more as the pastries and breakfast were the family’s favorite of the area which we were not far from

This was the best bakery I went to in Stockholm. I had a toscabulle and a strawberry pastry. These looked so good I decided to skip my usual cinnamon, and I wasn't disappointed. There was a long line but worth the wait and there is plenty of seating.

Perfect spot for breakfast in Stockholm! Freshly baked pastries, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The cinnamon buns are a must-try — soft, buttery, and full of flavor. Friendly staff and a real local vibe. The ideal way to start your day in the city! 🥐☕
Edoardo D — Google review
do not go there on the weekends, we had to queue 20 minutes, even outside, and then wait another 20 minutes for a hot drink. even if the atmosphere is really cool and well decorated, it is crowded and noisy, there is also no place to sit so you will have to do all this just to take it away. everything looks very good, the pastry was fine and very good texture but it was the most expensive and the less tasty chai i ever had, basically just milk so i was extremely disappointed i had to wait so long for this and pay so much for no flavour.

The Grand Hôtel, established in 1874, is a luxurious destination offering stunning water views and upscale amenities. Located near Stockholm Castle and Old Town, the hotel provides breathtaking vistas of the city and waterfront. Guests can enjoy exquisite dining at the renowned on-site restaurant helmed by Mathias Dahlgren, as well as cocktails at the elegant Cadier Bar.
Had a wonderful time at Grand Hotel in Stockholm. It was a quick trip with another couple and the hotel did not disappoint. You should absolutely book a room with breakfast and access to the spa. I have stayed at many 5-star hotels and his is the best breakfast experience so far. You can even get the same breakfast experience as room service on the weekends. The spa was absolutely lovely and never crowded. The rooms were well appointed although a bit dimly lit and we would have preferred a few more windows. Service was lovely from the concierge to front desk to those helping with car service. The location is excellent as well, as you can walk to many places in the city without the noise in the evening when trying to sleep.
K Z — Google review
Definitely the best hotel in Stockholm Very classic design with all new renovations Services were amazing too. Every staff was very professional, friendly, helpful and supportive. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Rooms layout and style were a bit different in each floor. But all were very nice. The meeting rooms were very outstanding too, especially the facing to the river
Tata L — Google review
Some places don’t perform luxury — they embody it. The rooms are impeccable, carrying the rich, layered history of Stockholm with quiet grace. The staff were attentive, and the concierge arranged an exceptional itinerary for the day. I was pleasantly surprised by the room-service menu, something I have expereinced that Nordics rarely get right. At the Cadier Bar, I ordered a Bloody Mary made with akvavit instead of vodka and the balance was impeccable, easily the finest I’ve had in my travels. A small detail, perhaps, but that’s where true refinement lives: in the choices that ask for nothing yet deliver everything.
Valerio C — Google review
Our stay at the Grand Hotel Stockholm was an absolute highlight from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better – right on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the Old Town, and many sights within easy walking distance. We especially want to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel welcome at all times. From the reception to housekeeping – everyone was warm, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms are elegantly furnished, spotlessly clean, and offer the highest level of comfort. The breakfast buffet is outstanding – fresh, varied, and featuring many Swedish specialties. If you want to experience Stockholm in a luxurious, relaxed, and truly hospitable atmosphere, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

We loved our short stay of a family of 3. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a junior suite which was wonderful , spacious , lovely design. The staff during the whole stay was wonderful. Special mention during check in process when they particularly were very thoughtful and kind with our son, Very engaging but also polite staff. Lovely food and great selection of wines with very good recommendations. We also enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the waterfront . Many thanks !
M M — Google review
The hotel is lovely , with plenty of history! It has a luxury feel with a day spa and lovely bar. The rooms are fairly large and have plenty of storage for personal items. While there are plenty restaurant options , the service in the restaurants didn't match the high level at the reception and concierge. Being high season I am assuming staff were stretched as for both breakfast and dinners we experienced slow service and at times some staff ignoring our tables.
Krishaani S — Google review
There cannot be a better hotel in all of Stockholm. The location is wonderful and the service is divine. The cocktail bar is one of the best I have been to in the world, and I still am dreaming about the bathtub in the room. Not to mention the delicious breakfast every morning! Perfectly located to everything in Stockholm, but you will not want to leave the hotel!

For our visit to Stockholm, we chose to stay at the Grand Hotel. I'm happy that we made the best choice possible. Restaurant Artilleriet is a trendy spot that offers a diverse menu of creative bar bites and mains, complemented by an array of cocktails, wine, and craft beer. It has gained a reputation as one of Ostermalm's coziest brunch spots, providing a luxurious dining experience in an inviting atmosphere with elegant decor and warm lighting. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Army Museum, offering spacious and stylishly decorated premises suitable for large groups.
So if you think Sweden is expensive you may be right. But its all about looking for the perfect place and this is it. My lunch was a meatball potatoes and a little salad with a beer for 250 kr but what they don't show is that you also get bread and the best homemade butter I've ever tasted. You get unlimited still or sparkling water and after the meal as much coffee as you want. All included in the price. Plus the best service and food you could wish for. Make an extra stop at this restaurant for lunch and you'll be a happy man. Ps don't forget to visit the museum!

This was our first stop in Stockholm! Food and service was lovely however we were really saddened to read the cocktail that berated our home city of Miami. It felt really extreme and pained us deeply… Please reconsider these harsh words, such hate really dampened our time in your establishment and we feel you can do better! But with that said our waitress was truly lovely and we enjoyed our food ❣️

Nice ambiance and delicious food and cocktails. Gluten-free and vegetarian options available. There was a good jazz duo playing when we were there, not too loud and we could still hear each other. We made a reservation just an hour before we went but they weren’t too busy. There are seats outside where you don’t need a reservation. Dog-friendly.

Probably one of the best places I've had drinks at in Stockholm bar scene. Very professional staff who knows their drinks and what to recommend. Go for the the Glögg drink, really amazing taste with akvavit.

Fine dining, quality foods, great service, amazing ambient.. This is where you want to have an elegant moment with high quality dishes. Could enjoy delicacy of Swedish cuisine with selective drinks. Located in the museum, definitely with an artistic touch of interior.

Popular dog-friendly restaurant by the Army Museum. It can get quite lively and crowded, so do expect some noise. Lunch is casual with interesting rotations on a daily basis. Guests can order at the counter and pick up some pastries on display with complimentary tea/coffee. Lovely queen scallops, which was a good preview of the promising dinner menu. Special doggo menu also available, basically kibbles and ice cream. Welcoming staff who took care of the dogs equally as well as the other guests.

Excellent place with good and loving food, nice staff and a nice locale. My only complaint is that the sound level was high, must be tiring for the staff. I would recommend hanging some big and heavy fabrics in the ceiling to dampen thing down. The drinks were good and fun, so I recommend you try them as well.

Nestled on Birger Jarlsgatan, À la Lo is a delightful plant-based café that embodies the passion for French cuisine brought to life by a mother-daughter duo. This charming spot invites you to indulge in fresh and healthy dishes, like their irresistible Turkish yogurt bowl and creamy avocado levain. Don't miss out on their unique 'Pain perdu,' a weekend-only twist on French toast that’s simply divine!
Wonderful vegan menu. Everything looked so good. I got the avocado toast, which was filling and savoury, and washed it down with the beetroot latte. The croissant is highly recommended. Make sure you get here early to get a spot otherwise you’ll need to wait for a while.

Amazing breakfast, delicious croissant 🥐 Cozy and friendly place. I enjoyed the Turkish yoghurt with black currants. The frozen banana yoghurt with berries and peanut sauce looks absolutely awesome! Would love to try it next time, it seems to be popular!

Great. Not sure why I haven't gone here earlier. There could be a few more savoury breakfast options, but if you're a fan of sweet breakfasts, you've got a large choice here. For lunch, there are more savoury options, of course. It was super busy when we got there, so it's probably worth coming early. Service was lovely and unfussy.

cold service and absolutely crawling with wannabe influencers who clearly are not enjoying their meals but r doing it for the vibe. decent drinks and Amazing croissant though, one of the best i’ve ever had. hearty semolina porridge, pretty good but nothing special. looks nice. cute interiors. just do not! come during rush hour.

We visited this café as a group of three on a Saturday afternoon. The interior isn’t the coziest, but the avocado toast and coffee were tasty. The staff was friendly and the service was good overall. However, there were quite a few small fruit flies around - in the air, on the walls and paintings and even in the restroom. It was hard not to notice them, and it really took away from the otherwise nice experience. It would be great if this issue could be resolved soon, as the food and service were otherwise good.

Brilliant vegan cafe, would highly recommend the staff were helpful and spoke English. I had the carrot cake which was delicious and my brother also had another splendid cake which I can't remember the name of. Definitely recommend.

Good variety in the menu and tasty vegan options! The service is slow though and it gets too loud inside so it is hard to talk.

Very cute coffee that offers lots of vegan goodies! I had a huge vegan breakfast bowl with fresh fruits and homemade granola that was very delicious. They also have amazing vegan croissants and cakes and the staff is very friendly. The café is quite small so I recommend going early (or getting some take-away).

It's nestled in the elegant Berzelii Park, and truly stands out as a high-end destination for Pan-Asian cuisine in Stockholm. From the moment you step into its lavish, cavernous dining room, you're struck by the ornate panelling and sophisticated ambience – it's an experience in itself before the food even arrives! The menu offers a fantastic array of dishes, beautifully presented and packed with authentic flavours. Whether you're a fan of delicate sushi, rich curries, or vibrant stir-fries, there's something to tantalize your taste buds. The "upscale" description is certainly fitting for the quality of the ingredients and the culinary execution. Service is generally attentive and professional, matching the elegant setting. It's an ideal spot for a special occasion, a business dinner, or simply when you want to treat yourself to an elevated dining experience. They have generous opening hours, from early morning for breakfast to late evenings, especially on weekends, making it versatile for different plans. While it leans towards the pricier side, the overall experience – from the breathtaking decor to the exquisite food and excellent service – justifies the cost. With a solid 4-star rating, it's clearly a beloved spot. If you're looking for a memorable Asian dining experience in a truly grand setting in Stockholm, Berns is a must-visit. Do it.

I’m happy to have such a nice and delicious restaurant near my office. It’s a bit expensive but it would be good to have a dinner with great vibe here at least once. We ordered some kinds of food and shared it, and I liked the Korean style. Especially, the kimchi was really good!

Fantastic food at Berns Asiatiska, so good we almost went twice! The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The decor is elegant inside. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Stockholm.

A really beautiful room, and absolutely insane food. Probably the best green beans ever, terrific nigiri 🍣 and excellent tuna on crispy rice. The room is from the old days with rich carved ceilings and friendly staff.
David K — Google review
A solid four star experience. Everything was very nice, I have nothing to complain about anything, but it wasn't mind-blowingly wonderful either. The food was good, the baos and Wagyu and lobster sushi were excellent. We also had some crispy gyozas, beef tartar and chicken skewers in peanut sauce. The service was friendly. There was a small little mix-up with our order but that's okay, nothing biggie, and they fixed it.

MR Cake is a pastry shop with unique and delicious American-inspired cakes. It has an inviting and comfortable home feel, and the cakes are of the highest quality.
An amazing place to sit and enjoy coffee and delicious sweets. I came here after reading menu reviews online and really enjoyed everything I tried. The place is vibrant and beaucoup, popping with pink, the seating is also very good and spaced out.it can get quite crowded . They have a very wide selection of sweets, from cakes , croissants, cheesecakes, cupcakes, cookies, buns, etc.. and good beverages to pair with it. I could hardly hold back! So I got many things packed and sampled each one. I got a matcha in almond milk, I quite liked it! They also have complimentary black coffe with different kinds of milks available that you can have. The cinnamon roll topped with cream cheese was a bit dry, but very subtly sweet do I liked it. The cookie croissant was a treat for the eyes as well! But tasted quite simple. I loved the red velvet croissant! It was filled with cream cheese icing and was so innovative . I tried 2 of the tier cakes! The chocolate and raspberry one was very decadent and wonderful especially if you don’t want something too sugary. The salted caramel cake was my personal favourite, light , airy and delicious. Overall I loved this fika! Would definitely come again.
Eshaana S — Google review
Mr Cake is hands down my favorite place in Stockholm for cakes and desserts. They also have a great bakery selection, but the cakes are what truly won me over. As someone from Argentina who loves sweets, it was really hard to find a place in Stockholm that lived up to my expectations—until I found Mr Cake. This place exceeded them in every way. I’ve been going almost every Friday morning for breakfast, and every single time the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Every cake I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. It’s a place I truly love and one that became really special to me.

Great place for everyone who likes a decadent cake. They are big, delicious and it’s perfect to share a few as it’s hard to choose! You can be seated both indoor and outdoors. And there is blankets if you are cold. Do try their red velvet croissant, it’s so good! But they all are.. They have several locations, my favourite is the one at Rådmansgatan.

This is one of the famous cake shops in Stockholm. Nice cheese cakes, cakes, pastries etc. I love the white chocolate hallon cheesecake but also all others are so nice. They have a big seating outside where u can sit out in the sun in summer days. Red velvet is scrumptious too. You can enjoy a nice fika
Richa T — Google review
Nice place to try. It feels similar to other franchises like Espresso House and Starbucks. There weren’t too many cake options to choose from, but overall the pastries taste good.

Located in the trendy Sodermalm neighborhood, it occupies a converted art deco cinema with views across the gardens of Mariatorget. I just want to give a special shout out to Joel at the reception desk. After a long day of travel, he was so helpful and kind towards us. He is the first person we met in Sweden and if all of the people here are like him, then we need to move here! Overall, really neat hotel with lots of fun design quirks. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Super helpful staff (especially Joel!). We would love to return.

I stayed at Hotel Rival for 2 nights and everything was simply exceptional. My room was cozy, well-equipped with all amenities, and the comfortable bed with air-conditioning felt like heaven. The spacious bathroom with separate zones for the toilet and warm shower was definitely a plus. The view from my window was stunning and truly a highlight of the stay. Breakfast was outstanding, offering everything from a cheese board to bubbles for a morning aperitif. I also appreciated the 24/7 coffee and tea station on the 4th floor. The location is excellent, with both a metro station and bus stop just steps away. This is an outstanding stay in every way. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Rival. Our room was clean and spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and ate at the Taverna which was excellent. Most importantly the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel special. They offered so many suggestions on things to see and do which meant we had so many highlights of our stay. If we ever return to Stockholm Hotel Rival will be our choice of accommodation. Thank you so much.

Although checkin was a bit slow it was worth the wait. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms with their heated floors are a treat. My room has a beautiful wood wall and suits me just fine. Don’t take the elevator - enjoy each step up the spiral staircase with its lovely stone steps.

A room overlooking a lovely park with a fountain and walking paths provided a lovely backdrop for our stay in Stockholm. The hotel had efficient elevators, and easy access to our room. The fourth floor had a coffee station included, with fruit and shortbread cookies placed there. Breakfast was both table service and delicious buffet included! Not basic: actual chef available for a freshly cooked dish. Evenings two restaurants, we dined downstairs at the less formal one with tables outside. Numerous good restaurants nearby, highly recommend Spago, ten minute stroll..

I stayed here because I’m a big ABBA fan and the hotel is owned by Benny. From the moment I arrived the staff were welcoming, incredibly interested in my story and not in a hurry. Then when I left I had a beautiful discussion with the reception staff about how special it was to go to the ABBA museum & we had tears. Nothing was ever a problem, breakfast the best I’ve had in any hotel, the room quiet and beautiful with the Church bells chiming. I would come back to Stockholm just for the experience of the hotel.

What a lovely stay it has been! Everything was perfect: from the warm welcome at the reception with the complimentary toothbrushes (our luggage had been delayed) to the wonderfully quiet and clean room and friendly staff. A special shout-out to the sublime breakfast! We have never enjoyed such an extensive buffet complemented by a choice menu. Now we will have to return, because we were unable to try everything. Thank you, it was wonderful.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rival. It was our first time visiting Stockholm and the staff was so welcoming and helpful! We arrived before our room was ready so went out to spend some time in the city and they called to let us know as soon as it was ready. They answered questions throughout our stay and provided numerous recommendations. Our room with was clean, comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure. I stayed here with work for one night. The staff were friendly, especially the breakfast waitress was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of vegetables, hummus, good scrambled eggs, several different cakes and bread. Loved it! Coffee very good, this is essential. I was not a fan of the room with no windows and the lights turn on automatically when your feet touch the floor which is so impractical. Clean and updated though. Location is brilliant, close to everything.

The oysters and grilled platter 👌♥️♥️. Not so much for the entrecote, but it was okay. Right in the middle of the city centre, there's no better way to start off Friday evenings. 🙌

This is some experience. Far from fine dining but a lot of atmosphere and energy with a live DJ delivering the music during dinner. We had a great evening starting with food and ending with drinks. The food is simple but well made with good flavors and quality produce. As well as being a restaurant the place also transcends into a bar area and a shop selling some of the produce which is used in kitchen. Many ordered the oysters which were sold at very reasonable prices. Great evening.

This is a really nice shop. Lots of organic foods and drinks in the shop. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. We didn’t dine in the restaurant as it was full, so went to the bagel counter instead. There were a few choices of bagel and we had smoked salmon and cream cheese. It was way too full and really sickly from the cream cheese. Really didn’t enjoy it. The restaurant itself looked nice but from my experience of the bagels it wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommended the bagel counter.

Villa Foresta is a charming destination that beautifully blends history with modern comfort. Nestled in an eclectic building dating back to the early 20th century, this hotel offers a unique maze-like experience thanks to its thoughtfully added wings and extensions. Guests can enjoy spacious accommodations, although some bathrooms may be on the smaller side. The atmosphere at Villa Foresta is serene, making it an ideal spot for relaxation after exploring Stockholm.
From the outside, the hotel looked modest, but it turned out to be surprisingly stylish, and the room even felt luxurious. For once, there were more than enough pillows—and good quality ones too. The firmness of the bed was just right for my body. Breakfast was traditional with a wide selection. The hotel’s location is somewhat remote from the city center, but relatively close to the Tallink Silja terminal. Getting to the center is easy with a combination of tram and metro. Lidingö is a pleasant district with great outdoor areas and stunning scenery.

The new atmosphere, the service in the bar, the coctails were amazing! Tasted great, and we loved how chatty was everyone there, talking about the origin of a drink! On the other hand, in the reastaurant, the staff was nice, kind, but we felt the tension between the supervisor and waiters. The food was very high quality, looked fabulous, but lack of imagination of the sortiment. Again, the quality was high-end!
Liliána R — Google review
The new aesthetic and ambiance are truly remarkable; they've absolutely hit the mark. The fresh design, particularly the games room, combined with the sophisticated dark theme, creates a fantastic atmosphere. Kudos on the design execution! However, despite the impressive visual appeal, the bar service is notably lackluster. It's incredibly slow, and the staff lack warmth. Even on a Wednesday, the bar appeared understaffed, leading to lengthy waiting periods with customers often left unattended. With such a high-end look and feel, one would naturally expect high-end service, but unfortunately, it's absent. The staff were often abrupt and unfriendly, especially the gentleman in what appeared to be a dark blue suit, who seemed to be in charge. He came across as very cold and unwelcoming. For instance, he poured my second glass of wine without even asking if I would prefer a fresh glass. Overall, it's an amazing and great place, but the staff training and service quality are in dire need of attention.
Joel H — Google review
Room given had a beautiful view and spacious, no complaint. -1 star for the room was not cleaned thoroughly, for instance found previous guest empty snus pouches. Noise from ceiling creaks was loud too but I guess its expected from old building. Service was a hit and miss, mostly miss. I would rate it 1/5 instead of 2/5 if not for the single receptionist and the bartender. All misses from the kitchen side especially during breakfast. Well you gotta step up your game if you want your hospitality to be remembered.

I had searched for the highest rated cafes around the area and came across this gem. Such a modern chic little cafe. Coffee was done 10/10. I drink espresso on a daily basis and only go for fine espresso which is hard to find but this place knows how to do it right. We shared the cardamom bun which was delicious. One of the trendy coffee shops in Stockholm central areas, with some really good coffee. The pastries are really good as well, all made in store daily so they are fresh and taste delicious. Definitely recommend it to try it out. They have some bench seating inside but not big enough for big groups.

We stopped by for a cup of coffee and some sweet pastry to recharge our batteries. I had a Ethiopian pour-over Heirloom coffee which was absolutely excellent. My wife had a warm cup of chocolate which was good without being amazing. We also had a cardamom bun which has a citrusy flavor which went well q the sweet taste. They roast their own coffee and have a wide selection. I bought three bags. One heirloom, one geisha and a bourbon variety. Looking forward to brewing at home. There isn’t much room but we found a place to sit and the tables clear out fast. They can hold two cups and a small plate but do not invite you to sit for a long time. No possibility to sit and work on a laptop. I like that. This place is all about the coffee.

Pascal Café was on our list even before we arrived in Stockholm. The café itself is lovely, but quite crowded, so you might not get a seat, though standing is an option if you don’t mind. The coffee was average; my flat white was a bit burnt. But the pastries… oh wow, absolutely heavenly!
Petra V — Google review
Go here if you are looking for specialty coffee from a place that roasts its own beans. They have one filter coffee at the ready or you can get the pour-over coffee (two choices of beans). The pour-over takes some time to prepare so it’s not for people in a rush. They also have other preparation methods but I was there in the early morning and the barista told me they start making the other kinds of coffee at around 10 AM or so. Delicious pastries too. Dogs welcome. Tiny tables and no wifi, so this is a place to enjoy your drink and chat with friends rather than work.

Guests can indulge in the on-site restaurant and wine bar, which reflect the trendy Ostermalm neighborhood's vibe. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various breakfast options before exploring nearby museums and shops.
We stayed at this hotel during our vacation in Sweden for several nights. We booked a superior room and there was nothing to complain about. The shower and bathroom is very nice, the room quite big and the minibar has all you need. The hotel is beautiful and well-designed, with great attention to detail. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Upon check-in, we were initially disappointed with the room, as it was located on the first floor. However, the staff quickly and without any issues arranged for us to move to a room on the third floor, which we greatly appreciated. In advance, I had requested a late check-out due to an important Teams meeting at 11:30. While they couldn’t guarantee anything by email—which is understandable—they had already arranged a late check-out until 3 PM when I asked again that same morning. Fantastic service! We were also allowed to check in even though we arrived at 10:30 AM. The only real downside was the cleanliness of the room. It was quite dusty, with dust on top of the wardrobe, the bed frame, and even the light switches. There were also visible grease marks on the door. The napkin holder in the bathroom was empty when we arrived and, surprisingly, still not refilled even after housekeeping serviced the room on day two. This is far below expectations for a hotel in this price range. The rooms were also smaller than expected based on the pictures. Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. That said, the breakfast staff seemed slightly disengaged. It took far too long to be seated, even though multiple staff members clearly saw me waiting—yet none took the initiative to help. In summary, this was a very good hotel experience overall, but I sincerely hope they improve their cleaning routines going forward.

Great hotel. The location is perfect. On a nice pedestrian only street. Lots of restaurants and a market next door. Easy walk to parks, water taxis, the palace, old town and the main shopping area. Hotel is really nice and an interesting design. Rooms aren’t huge but they’re nicely laid out, clean and well equipped.

Been coming here as a guest for many years and today i was shocked with the service of the waiter serving me here , the fact that it did not reflect the five stars given at the waiter arguing back with me has lead me to have to lose my beloved trust into being a returning customer here. At a hotel of this standard customers should not be felt like they are in the wrong at any stage and a solution should always be met to please the customer expectations

Cozy hotel nestled among a bustling pedestrian street in Stockholm - very conveniently located with just a short walk from Gamla Stan and a <10 minute walk from many of the best bars and restaurants in the city. The room feels like staying in a palace, with incredibly tall ceilings, the softest bedsheets, and overall beautiful aesthetic - perfect for a romantic or rejuvenating getaway (did I mention the private sauna and steam room spa area available to reserve in the hotel?). The free breakfast was a highlight, often rivaling the Michelin-rated restaurants we ate at, and service was all-around excellent. Although there was some noise from the hotel’s atrium (as our window looked out into the atrium), the walls between rooms felt very insulated and we had no issues with hearing any neighbors. Overall, would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Amazing all around! The only bummer is we got food poisoning either from room service or breakfast on our last night/morning there. But still amazing hotel.
Evgenia C — Google review
Very nice staff. Ridiculously small rooms. They clearly put us in a room for a single person. No place to put luggage, no place to hang clothes and no drawer under the tiny writing table. My partner and I could not move around the foot of the bed at the same time. The hand held shower had was mounted at waist height not at the top so it could double as a shower. I would have given 1 star if no for the great staff.

Vete-Katten is a charming 1920s-style cafe and patisserie in Stockholm, known for its traditional biscuits, international pastries, pralines, and cakes. The timeless environment offers classic lunch dishes like salads, soups, and open sandwiches. With multiple locations across the city, the most classic patisserie dating back to the 1920s is situated on Kungsgatan near Stockholm Central Station.
Lovely bakery chain in the city of Stockholm. Service was lovely, just like the atmosphere inside the restaurant. There was AMPLE seating inside the cutely-decorated interior. We ordered two desserts, and both of them tasted delicious. The raspberry custard bun especially exceeded our expectations, it was soft and lightly sweet, with a hint of raspberry throughout. The chocolate cake was light with the chocolate mousse, and not too rich. My one note would be that there can be a long line for the bathrooms as there’s only two stalls in total. Other than that, we had an amazing experience dining here in the morning, before we got to the rest of our plans for the day.

I was told that one cannot visit Sweden without experiencing good fika, and that Vete-Katten was the place to go to try authentic Swedish fika. So of course, this is where we had to go to, and given how busy this cafe was, particularly with the locals, and how many people continued to stream in during our visit, clearly a lot of people agree. We got the most traditional desserts, the Princess cake and the Budapest, and I also got the open-faced shrimp toast, as well as coffee. The food was amazing. The cakes are made with fresh cream, and I appreciated how the sweetness of the fresh cream and marzipan in the Princess cake contrasted with the tartness of the berry compote. But I adored the Budapest and the nuttiness of the hazelnuts amidst the fresh cream. The shrimp toast comprised a generous portion of fresh shrimp cocktail, a whole boiled egg and vegetables on bread. It was delicious as well. Coffee was definitely one of the better ones we’ve had here as well. Service-wise, you queue to order at counter and collect your food and coffee when ready. But it’s fast and efficient and I really can’t complain. This is definitely a place I would recommend for the quintessential Swedish fika experience.

✨ The place is beautiful with a unique historical touch. 🌿 I sat in the outdoor garden seating, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 🥪 I ordered a cheese sandwich, and the bread was very delicious. 🍓 I tried the strawberry cinnamon roll, and it was tasty. ☕ The coffee came with free refills.

I think it's Stockholm's most popular and touristy cafe. The coffee was a bit strong, but the desserts were delicious. The atmosphere is beautifully designed. It's a great place to relax while exploring the heart of the city.

Not many cafes open at 9:00 on Sundays, and luckily this is one of them. Very charming place with good coffee and wide variety of cakes and pastries. If you are not into sweets there are also sandwiches. Cappuccino and Princess cake = 118 SEK

Really enjoyed the visit! The cinnamon fika had a nice traditional taste and even reminded me of Persian recipes (though I still think the Iranian ones are a bit better 😊). Still, it’s a lovely spot and definitely worth checking out.

A pleasant bakery that is worth the hype. This patisserie offers a range of pastries, ranging from bread to cakes. The Princess Cake is particularly popular, and I could see why. It tasted refreshing and moderately sweet. The drinks were not bad, either.
Pui C — Google review
Absolutely divine - soft, perfectly spiced, with just the right amount of sweetness. I’ve tried a lot of cinnamon buns in different places, but honestly? Nothing compares to these. The flavor, the texture, the freshness… just unbeatable. If you’re in town and only have one pastry to try, make it this one. Total cinnamon bun supremacy.

Waitor Nick was an amazing server. We had our friend's birthday here and he was extra polite with us, professional and really understanding for the mess we made with the confetti. The food and the drinks were also great. We really recommend this place !

Both the atmosphere and the food were good. I had a fish platter, which was excellent. My alcohol free cocktail was a little disappointing though (quite pricey for a huge glass of ice cubes and mint basically). The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Despite the restaurant being quite busy during lunchtime, getting a table was no problem. I can definitely recommend coming here to eat!

Hip and popular place to grab a bite. We had a tasty green pasta and steak tartare as well as some oysters. Service was very friendly. Vibe in the terrace was also great, mostly locals here.

Very nice atmosphere and lovely neighbourhood but brunch/breakfast could have been better. Many interesting young people were having brunch or early lunch here. I enjoyded seeing ”SoFo” and experience the vibe of Södermalm.

I’ve been here many times but today I had a very poor experience. I was with a friend and my 6 month old baby who needed to breastfeed. There were over 50% of the tables free, so we immediately took a table and I started to feed him. After a couple of minutes an older female waitress came over quite aggressively saying we can’t just take a table we need to join the “very long que” to be seated. There was one person in the que. My friend waited in this que to be told by another friendly waitress to wait at the table and she’ll chat with us. When this other waitress saw her back at the table she said “I told you to wait in the que, also prams are not allowed”. We then left. Generally we felt very unwelcome and not like customers but instead a nuisance, especially as a mother needing to breastfeed. This waitress acted like they were overbooked when in fact there were free tables everywhere. Instead we went a couple of doors down to Alba vinbar. Amazing service, welcoming to prams, and lovely wines. A total shift in energy!
Leanne M — Google review
We can’t recommend this place at all. Pricey even by Stockholm standards, and nothing to justify it. The prawn cocktail was four limp shrimps hanging out a glass full of some unidentified spicy sauce, didn’t go well together at all. The burger and fries did not do anything to please the eye, or the palate for that matter. A lone pickled cucumber couldn’t atone for a lack of effort and quality. We left early and took drinks elsewhere. The service wasn’t great, too.
Bernard B — Google review
Staff is great, the bar and restaurant vibe is also good but the food is only okay. We were a larger group and ordered several things and most of them left us wanting. The beef tartar and mussels were both under seasoned and not very exciting and the pastrami sandwich was pretty dry.

I came here on my own and sat on the bar side for dinner and drink. The atmosphere was excellent and I didn’t feel awkward to be there alone. The staff were friendly and they made me feel welcome. Swedish cuisine - fine dining. Good for corporate dinners as can accommodate large groups. Caviar on brioche was divine and main course Char fish is off the chart. We go to this restaurant a couple of times per year in the past. But this is the first time visit in 2024. The fish soup was so salty, and possibly they have changed their chef. The other dishes were also not how they used to be, lack of flavor or too much salt. Services were great.

Popped in on a random Friday was treated very well. The restaurant is very beautiful on the inside. Caviar was amazing, the steak was extremely tender, but most importantly the meatballs are what you should order.

We happened upon this gem of a restaurant just walking around the neighborhood, and we were very glad we stopped in! It was a very popular place but they had one section reserved for walk-ins like us. The service was impeccable and all of our dishes were delicious! Unfortunately a failure. OK for a short visit for coffee and pastry. A brunch menu is on the website, but this is offered only at weekends. This was not written on the internet. Too bad. There is no drinks menu. The waitress said that she was the menu and that we should just tell what we wanted to drink and she would answer if it was available. Water glasses look nice but all have broken edges. Tuna Melt absolutely overpriced and over-seasoned. Stylish café to fight hunger ok, but not a gastronomic experience. Dont order lunch.

We have recently visited the café. I have never made a negative comment to any place but.. It was one of the most overpriced coffees in Stockholm. Cappuccino costs 70 sek and they charge the lactose free milk, 12 sek per coffee. So in total 82 sek when the average price anywhere else is maximum 60 sek. I have never experienced charging of lactose free milk anywhere in Sweden. And you can imagine that the whole bottle of lactose free milk costs max. 30 sek at the supermarkets. When we got the coffees and we tried, the charged lactose free milk was NOT even lactose free, it was regular milk. When we asked if they charged sth extra than 2 cappuccino (164 sek), the feedback was "it is what it is". Very dissatisfied from the total experience.

Sundbergs Konditori is a cozy cafe in the heart of Stockholm's old town. The cafe has an intimate and quaint atmosphere, with chintzy chandeliers and a copper samovar full of self-serve coffee. The menu features delicious pastries and coffee, making it the perfect place to enjoy a cup of joe or a slice of cinnamon bun.
This cafe is my absolute favorite cafe in Stockholm! Every single time I visit Stockholm, I go to this place to enjoy a dessert. The cafe is very old and historic, and you can totally feel that vibe inside. It’s decorated very beautifully! All the furniture is in very good condition. The cafe is always clean, the staff does a great job keeping it tidy after customers. They clean the tables right away when people leave. By the way, every time I come here, it’s always busy! Sometimes I’ve had to wait a while to get a table. Also, just a heads-up - it’s better to come earlier if you want a specific cake, because by lunchtime, many of them are already gone. Talking about the cakes, their selection isn’t very big, but every single cake I’ve tried has been super delicious! My two absolute favorites are the Napoleon cake and the Budapest cake. Trust me, they are extremely tasty at this cafe! By the way, I believe that the Napoleon cake is a top seller. A few times when I came around 2-3 p.m., it was already sold out. I also recommend their chocolate mousse cake, which is very tasty as well (people who prefer milk chocolate will love it for sure). As a tea lover, I’m very satisfied with the tea selection at the cafe; there’s a good variety. I really love their Earl Grey tea. But recently, I discovered a new amazing flavor they have - some Swedish tea (I forgot the exact name). If you want to try it, just ask for the Swedish tea and they’ll know which one you mean. The women who work at this place are very nice, by the way. They’re always happy to go through all the cakes with you and help you choose the best one. The prices at this cafe are high, I’m not going to hide that. But by paying a bit more, you definitely get a full, nice experience: very delicious food and a beautiful place to enjoy your time. I absolutely recommend visiting this cafe at least once - for a wonderful experience and nice memories.

A charming cafe with a vintage atmosphere in the Old City. You order your food at the counter and it is brought to your table. We arrived early, right at opening time, so the place was relatively empty and quiet. We ordered an omelette that came with a side salad and a bagel. The portions were large and to our liking. You can buy a cup of coffee and refill it at the coffee stand.
Lital Y — Google review
We visited Sundbergs Konditori, Stockholm’s oldest café (1785), and really enjoyed our stop here. We had a sweet cinnamon-and-walnut bun (similar to a kanelbulle) with coffee, and water was provided for free. The atmosphere is full of history with chandeliers and an old-world charm, right in the heart of Gamla Stan. A practical note: in Stockholm, public toilets are usually paid unless you are a customer. Here, non-customers can also use the restroom for 20 SEK, which is helpful to know. We also loved how fika is such a strong tradition in Stockholm—this café is the perfect place to experience it like the locals. Highly recommended!
Senem B — Google review
Apparently, it’s the oldest café in town, so I was curious to give it a try. It was okay, nothing particularly special. I had the Princess cake and a coffee; both were fine. The cake was quite rich and sweet for my taste, but worth trying if you’re into classic Swedish desserts.

Nice coffee, but on the mild side with well balanced flavors. The chocolate croissant has great texture and crispy layers. Generally well baked. Only complaint is only one uni-sex toilet which has a long queue all the time.

Great coffee place and really like the cozy atmosphere! Very spacious and they have so many beans to choose from, all categorized in flavours. However, it is important to note that, they do light roasts only!! Perspnally, not the biggest fan of light roast, but they recommended me a flavour that I quite liked so definitely give it a try!

Very comfy place with good coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls. A bun filled with ham and cheese was also very tasty. Brewed coffee we tried was really good. The espresso was good, but not really my favourite type of coffee (a little bit more acidic, I prefer the italian type of roasted beans).

Pros: Loved the atmosphere. The big sunny ☀️ window seats. The staff was super kind. Reasonably priced. Cons: Pour over coffee was just average. Not bad but not a stand out. Awesome experience and food. I was there for breakfast twice and in another Mahalo location for lunch. The food is definitely worth the price. I also like the playful interior and the employees are very very friendly. The food is super tasty and the regular international "vegan Restaurant" options so usually something for everyone. Also everything is vegan! I had the pancakes, two different Acai Bowls and the Porridge Crumble thingy. I can especially recommend the Porridge crumble. I eat porridge nearly everyday, but this was something different and very well made.

Healthy oriented café, brunch, also serving full lunchtime meals. Lively and energetic, also great for those eating alone, with seating that accommodates lone eaters. I’m not sure what it is about Swedish brunches, but they are phenomenal. This is my second one, and I find it very innovative and remarkably tasty. The Breakfast in Bed was a perfect blend between textures and flavors from the scrambled tofu to the well made toast that was not too soft not too hard, I could have ordered it twice. The American Pancakes Berry Special were special and delicious indeed. Super soft combined with the crunch of the pecans offered a delightful blend in the mouth. Thanks to the staff for this experience.

Step into the glamour of the 1920s at Haymarket by Scandic, an art deco-style hotel located in the heart of Stockholm. Housed in a 1920s department store where Greta Garbo once worked, this hotel boasts a grand lobby designed as an Art Deco masterpiece. The modern restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options and chefs ready to prepare omelettes to order.
Nice and large hotel in the middle of Stockholm downtown and near the pedestrian area shopping, and walkable to the Gamla Stan Old Town 👍 Rooms are very clean and modern. A/C control is centralized. Rooms lack a dresser with drawers to unpack your clothes. Very good breakfast buffet with nice service staff. Front desk has typically 2-3 friendly and helpful attendants, but it gets very busy during the peak check-in hours. There is a good restaurant and bar on the premises.

A hotel in a old-fashioned, charming style, with music at the entrance and a piano bar. Very central and convenient for getting anywhere in Stockholm (the metro and bus are just a few minutes away). The rooms are a bit small, but functional and spotlessly clean, large walk-in shower in the bathroom. Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had a good variety — a great way to start the day. The location is perfect, close to everything you need, whether you’re here for sightseeing or business. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully designed in opulent 1920s style but still practical for travellers. Spotlessly clean. Paul's Restaurant was five star with dishes that had wonderful flavours. Very memorable last dinner in Stockholm. Even my Negroni was the best I have had! Just a word of warning - portion sizes are huge!

Great experience for our 2 nights in Stockholm. Upon checkin we were given an upgrade and the room was beautiful and spacious, a perfect way to end our trip. The lobby and hotel was beautiful, with great decor. Views into the main plaza of that area made for great people watching and my husband appreciated the bedroom having no windows- perfect for getting a good night of sleep in endless summer light. Convenient to tram for heading south and walking distance to Gamla Stan and other fun neighborhoods.

6 months of constant travelling to Stockholm this is by far my favourite hotel in the city! The 20's art nouveau design gives me a cosy, luxurious feeling and the soft big band jazz in the background makes me totally relax. The "small single" rooms are way spacier than the average single rooms and it has a 140 cm bed that you can customize the firmness of the matress AND the DUVET is apprx 200cm wide, not the tiny 150cm ones that most hotels in Stockholm offer. (I mean, what are all the plus size people suppose to do with those, right?!) Oh, and did I mention the breakfast is fantastic (soft creamy scrambled eggs - I say no more...)

Great hotel right in the heart of Stockholm. The decor is incredible. Our room and bathroom were meticulously clean and we slept well. Shower pressure and temp perfect. Staff friendly.

Perfect location, clean & well appointed hotel, friendly staff throughout. There is plenty to do in and around the Haymarket, from shopping to cafes snd restaurants, your wish is their command. Beds are very comfy and the rooms even have a sort of air conditioning. All in all it was a great stay and we would stay here again.

Södra Teatern, established in 1859, is a historic theater in Stockholm that hosts a variety of entertainment events. From touring rock, indie, and jazz bands to live DJ club nights, the venue offers diverse performances for its visitors. Additionally, Södra Teatern features Restaurang Mosebacke, known for its fabulous vegetarian options and an attractive outdoor terrace.
What a wonderfully kept absolute gem! The green and gold, the red curtains …this theatre brings such joy to an interior nerd! On top of that, having experienced a full day event with flown in superstar speakers, I can only agree with the hosts, lights and sound along with service was excellent!
Ylva M — Google review
The event was published on the tickets as 1800 but the guard finally spoke to the crowd and said the event was 1900, he did not seem interested at all in alerting the owners to the mistake that the tickets were sent out with wrong information or having a note put up on the door so the crowd went to get drinks at the södra theatern bar. When going to the bar the door staff were too absorbed in their mobile phone game to look up or answer any of us and just shrugged off the ordeal. Once the group played, an hour after what was on the tickets the venue was at least 40C to the point where the group was commenting on the heat. I know the Södra theatern can do better, much better.
Erik N — Google review
It’s a really beautiful and intimate setting for live music. The staff was not friendly and the drinks were outrageously expensive and hard to get.
Chris W — Google review
Horrible treatment. A man at the bar made a rude comment about me “not behaving like I should,” despite me clearly being a tourist. Security then forced me and my friend to leave, leaving our paid drinks untouched. this was completely disrespectful and unacceptable.
Ahmad — Google review
This review is for Kägelbanan only. The venue is alright for smaller concerts if the local guy comes for a gig and you want to listen to some live music. For bigger concerts, however, it turns into a sham and a mockery for both the artists and the audience. Avoid this place for bigger concerts at all costs (note for both the audience and band managers)! The ventilation is bad (so bad that even the artists complained at the end of the concert), but the worse part is that the stage is so low that unless you are in the front rows you have no chance of seeing anything. On their website it’s written that the capacity goes up to 600 people and I believe that is what they are trying to sell. Now imagine 600 people crammed in a long, narrow room with a low stage - it’s a disaster, a very frustrating experience and totally disrespectful for the artists who are trying to give their best. I’m attaching a picture with my view at the Apocalyptica concert on 21.09.2024. For reference, my height is 180 cm. To this, add that you are expected to pay 190 kr for two beers.

This place is amazing! You have enough space to dance , music is nice , the building and view( especially top of it ) is so good ! Also free entrance for 26+ . It starts around 10 pm. Give it a try!

A rock-like terrace with an great view upon the city. Live rock concerts here, on a small stage. The menu is limited but with enough choices for a decent evening-out with friends. Prices are good too. The bathrooms could use a thorough cleaning though! Oh, and the "dog bar" is a cool feature too!

Nobis Hotel Stockholm is a sophisticated and elegant hotel located in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. The hotel occupies two interconnected 19th-century buildings on Norrmalmstorg town square, showcasing a blend of historic charm and modern design. The interiors are stunning, featuring statement art and stylish guest rooms designed by renowned architecture firm Claesson Koivisto Rune.
We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed this chic designer hotel in the heart of the city. Love all the details in the room and common area. Breakfast is decent enough to kick off the day that serve till 11 am. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room’s ventilation isn’t the best. Overall I would recommend here if you are staying here for short visit.
Aquarius — Google review
I am astonished at the fact that Nobis Hotel is a 5 star hotel- because according to strict regulations it must be considered a 4 star at most. The rooms are quite small even though we booked preferably larger ones… the food served in the two restaurants has very little variety too. We firstly ate in the indoors restaurant and the only options were fish or red meat for main course- both very salty and not my favorite. For the bar, I had the most terrible and salty salad of my life, and actually cut down on eating fish after it. The only thing good on the bar menu is a burger which is not ideal if you’re watching your health. The location is alright- though quite far away from the main districts and tourist catching museums. The design of the hotel is alright and the lounge is comfortable, which was a plus. Not to forget, the breakfast was fine but I was sick of eating the same fruits and oatmeal after a while. Again, a very small variety and in very small portions the fruits are put. The only remarkable sight of the breakfast was the jars of nuts and toppings (coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds etc. ) they had a good variety of dairy and gluten free food too. in conclusion, it was definitely too pricey for what i got. do NOT recommend staying here in general
Alsu C — Google review
One of the nicest Marriott properties we have stayed at. The location is the best if you want to visit downtown Stockholm which is a beautiful city. The staff was fantastic, the rooms are very nice with very comfortable beds and have numerous amenities. The breakfast is great! Keep in mind it is and old historic building previously a bank renovated and converted to a hotel so it is a little quirky but that is part of what gives it its charm! We plan on staying there again the next time we come to Stockholm.
Ed C — Google review
Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in August. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping - couldn’t get any better really. A few other reviewers have complained about the noise from nearby nightclubs, we did notice it but were not badly affected as we were on one of the higher floors. The rooms are quite small, which is fine and guests are aware of this at the time of booking. However, the room was too cluttered for the size, with lamps protruding too far. The shower was also awkward to use. Service overall was quite good but breakfast was a bit chaotic and we heard staff making disparaging remarks about guests.
Kah Y — Google review
Nobis Hotel – Grand staircase, minimal room, and a cappuccino worth waiting for Nobis Hotel is housed in one of the most architecturally interesting buildings in central Stockholm, conveniently close to many attractions. The location is truly excellent, and the hotel makes a strong first impression. Check-in feels properly five-star — professional, smooth, and welcoming. That’s more or less where the five-star experience peaks. One undeniable highlight is the absolutely gorgeous staircase — a must-see even if you’re just passing through. Photogenic, elegant, and full of character. My room, however, was rather minimalist, bordering on plain. No standout design elements, no luxury touches — just a room with a bed and a bathroom. Functional, yes. Memorable, no. It’s entirely possible that other categories offer more charm, but mine felt more businesslike than indulgent. That said — the bed was comfortable and I slept very well. Mission accomplished on the core function of a hotel. Breakfast is served in a somewhat gloomy basement space. The food selection is decent for a hotel in this category, covering all the basics. The cappuccino was genuinely good — but expect a short wait, especially if you’re in a hurry and the room is busy. Best to take your time and enjoy a slower morning
Alex O — Google review
Very nice place was in a Executive Room for a Conference and Staff n Service was amazing…! Food I dont rate it to be 3star either considering this is a 5star hotel. Its good when you visit for office conferences only…!
Praveen J — Google review
Some of the rooms can really use some refurbishment, the first room we were in was facing a deadly looking courtyard and the bathroom looked like a world war 2 camp with plastic curtains and a ceramic plate covered the sink? We didn’t quite get what that was about.. the sink is not deep enough, there is water going everywhere and the tap itself is so centred that every time you try to wash your face you get a full head shower. Also please change the phones in the rooms, I beg you. Your rooms are nothing close to looking like you’re a 5 star hotel, anytime we tried to call room service or reception the phone wouldn’t work cause it’s so old and nobody could hear us talking. Also the coffee and the food are terrible I’m sorry.
Gianluca V — Google review
Where do I begin… I had really high hopes for this property given its prime location and price tag. But the whole experience was very underwhelming (for a 5 star hotel in Sweden) and extremely average. Standard room was very small, some bells and whistles to the room yet highly not functional (sink too shallow, shower not functional as water would spill everywhere). Breakfast offers were average and frankly the space was too dark and cramped for the amount of guests they have. Their beautiful lounge I think could be repurposed for something better as it was quiet (with a strange portrait of Zac Efron). Sauna was your average gym sauna (not the nice one). And Titanium status didn’t mean much here, not even a slight extension for checkout. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel at all, better off trying some other spots in town.

Il Caffe Soder is a popular coffee shop in SoFo neighborhood in Stockholm. The shop has a hip and trendy atmosphere, with locals walking by as you enjoy your coffee and pastry. The coffee is good and the staff nice. Beware that they will split shots on the single order.
Great atmosphere! The coffee is excellent—no frills, no fancy latte art, just classic, old-school coffee. It reminded me that sometimes, simplicity is all you need.
Prudhvidhar K — Google review
Very rich and tasty coffee, the espresso shot. I had a bun with it which was average. They also have sandwiches which seem very tasty. Cozy and chill place, with space for working with your laptop or some studying. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere with many locals and tourists.
Goldfinch — Google review
The atmosphere is attractive and laid back which is perfect for a relaxed fika or working space, the coffee is not bad not good, just meh, neither the cappuccino or the latte had any barista skill, no latte art and the milk was overly foamed in both which just shows the lack of training of the staff in coffee making, we ordered a kanelbulle and instead got a kardemummaknut which we didn’t mind but it was not fresh at all, but the food is lazily made and completely overpriced, we waited almost half an hour for two toasts which cost 125kr each, and for that price you expect a good snack but you instead get a old hard bread with ingredients lacking cohesion, we got a tuna toast which was just ok (could have cost half the price) and an avocado toast that we couldn’t finish since the avocado was too acid, the toast bread… well was hard and probably not fresh

Weird caffe, didn’t like the vibes 😕, and the coffee is ‘okay’ not so good … not visiting again.
Wasan — Google review
I know Saturdays are a lot of work, so I understand that with the rush it's hard to give some quality. But charging 46kr (about 4€) for a small cappuccino looking like this : milk is burnt (big bubbles at the top), almost no foam, no latte art... That's not ok. Overcharged for a not good quality. The taste was ok though. Customer service is quite terrible too. Haven't gotten even a smile.
Aude B — Google review
Used to be okay but now apparently it's fine for staff to sit down and enjoy cigarette after cigarette in the outside sitting area whilst customers are having their food and coffee there. Infuriating, and I am pretty sure, illegal.
Sally C — Google review
Has lots of good spaces to work, but I was not at all impressed with the coffee. There are so many better coffee places but definitely recommend if you’re looking for a decent work place. Not cozy and doesn’t really have much character, but I guess that doesn’t matter much if you just want to get stuff done.

Clarion Hotel Sign is a trendy and informal hotel located near Central Station in Stockholm. It strikes a balance between business and boutique, offering a pleasant stay with its rooftop pool and spa. The hotel features Scandinavian-designed rooms that are spacious and moderately luxurious. Guests can enjoy the unique experience of the outdoor rooftop pool with stunning city views. The spa offers modern amenities including a sauna and various treatments.
The major highlight of this hotel is the absolutely amazing breakfast spread they put out every morning which is included with the price of your room. Our room was situated on the interior part of the hotel which makes it super quiet. The location was great for us as it was a few minutes walk to the train station. We walked to the Vasa Museum, the excellent Swedish History Museum, caught the Hop on Hop Off bus nearby, and found restaurants nearby. Staff were wonderful, helpful, and gave great advice. My complaint is that the bed was too soft for me, but not super uncomfortable. I bring my own travel pillow so their pillows weren't a problem for me. It seems like European hotels are smaller in size, not a problem, but there's not many places to unpack, and get organized. Overall, fine.

Nice, modern hotel. Nice service. Tasty breakfasts and a large selection of food and drink. Good location really close to everywhere, 4min on foot to Arlanda express and 6min to the subway. The nearest grocery store 2min on foot. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful park ideal for a walk with a dog or a child.

Really liked this hotel to start with: location, friendly check-in staff, comfortable room until I was woken up at 6.30 am by the noise which felt like it was coming from inside my room! My room was on the 7-th floor. Still not sure what it was and where it was coming from. Most likely it was from the floor above and sounded like someone was redecorating the room upstairs. The point is, there must have been zero noise insulation in my room and the noise went on non-stop until I left to have breakfast at 8am. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give it 5 stars, there was even an iron and a kettle in the room. Luggage rack folds out from the wall like a shelf, not immediately obvious but effective so everything was really well thought out. You could even open the window for some fresh air. Breakfast was good too
Marina J — Google review
The hotel is located right beside the Arlanda express train which is useful for people coming from the airport, its well placed inside the city centre which is useful to get to tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection with hot food and allergies options. The room was big enough with necessary requirements. The Gym is open 24 hours and is open to the public. The only downside of being a guest is that the pool is not included with your stay, which is a disappointment.

Bed: too soft Room: on the inside, facing courtyard, very quiet, clean, modern, we tried multiple times to get separate twin beds without success, not sure what the issue is, not all travelers who sleep in the same room want to sleep in the same bed or even that close to each other, separate beds or rooms with two beds can't be that difficult, certainly available in other hotels, Ventilation: room on the streetside had no window that would open, thermostat almost 6 feet off the ground, difficult to understand no matter what setting we still didn't get any cold air, ask for window that opens if you don't like canned air Elevator: Just one elevator Bank per floor And each Floor has 88! rooms so be prepared to walk to your room some distance Bathroom: spartan, shower has no grab bars be sure to ask for a shower if you do not want to have to climb into a tub Location: across the street from a beautiful Park , fairly close to pedestrian zone Breakfast: wide variety pf choices Amenities: no luggage racks! But there is a hair dryer, teapot, cups, plenty of pillows, stocked fridge
G H — Google review
Does the hotel thing, so if you want a room you're good. Short-staffed, so lines for bar and food. They ran out of the burgers I was going to eat, and couldn't arrange salt for the breakfast egg. Other than that, breakfast was as expected. Wouldn't hate staying there again, but will consider other options.
Fredrik T — Google review
For a supposed 4-star hotel catering to international guests, the lack of basic amenities is inexcusable. There are no USB or USB-C charging outlets, no plug adapters available at reception, and not even complimentary bottled water. Maintenance is poor—my main hallway light was dead, my friend’s flickered nonstop, and despite reporting both issues in person, nothing was fixed during our four-night stay. Several other fixtures were also burnt out. The waste basket in the bathroom wasn’t functional. Rooms are cramped, furnished with uncomfortable wooden chairs, and equipped with an outdated, non-smart TV offering very limited channels. The much-advertised swimming pool is just 8 meters long and treated as part of the spa, meaning guests must pay about USD 39 for a single swim. Housekeeping was inconsistent and disappointing. On one day, my friend’s room (with a tip left) was partially cleaned while mine (no tip) was ignored entirely. Even when both rooms were serviced, there was no vacuuming, and sinks and vanities were left dirty. The location and lobby are good, but the overall experience is far from the standard expected at this price and rating.

A very cute little bakery with amazing baguettes. Especially the one with eggs and mayo and avocado was incredible. Their bread was so good. Also lovely pastries. It’s a bit out if the way and it seemed more expensive than the other bakeries we’ve been to (approx 300 sek for 2 espressos, 2 sandwiches and 2 pastries).

I arrived at 9:00 AM on a Friday and there was no wait. I placed the order quickly and found a seat. They have savoury sandwiches as well as sweet pastries. I had an egg mayo sandwich and a cardamon bun. They were both very nice. As far as I could see they didn't have chai latte or matcha latte, but luckily, they had black tea (Assam)! As someone who absolutely hates coffee, it's always a gamble to go to a new place. It's a small bakery and they only have a dozen or so seats inside, but there was no one else at the time. It’s not somewhere you sit down and chill for a long time. In the 20 minutes or so that I spent there there was a high traffic of people ordering a coffee or pastries to go and only one other group who sat inside.

Hotel At Six is a trendy and upscale establishment located in Stockholm's Brunkebergstorg square. The hotel boasts contemporary rooms and suites with a clean urban aesthetic, featuring oak-clad bay windows, marble desks, and luxurious Swedish designed beds. Guests can enjoy two bars, including the Blanche & Hierta bar for aperitifs, an excellent Dining Room offering imaginative riffs on rustic Swedish flavors, and a 24/7 gym.
I had a wonderful birthday stay at this hotel! They even put birthday chocolates in my room for me! Fabulous location and walkable to everything! The gym was really nice with lots of equipment. My room had a beautiful view and was very clean! The staff was so helpful! Would totally stay here again!

Overall, a nice stay for 3 nights. A few complaints - the room design is nice and modern, but SO dark even with the curtains open and lights on. I could barely see in my suitcase and no natural light made it into the bathroom. My mini bar also didn’t have a working fridge, so I had to travel VERY far every time I wanted a cold drink to get ice. It’s only on a few floors and my room was as far from the elevators as you could get. Like other hotels I stayed in on my trip, there were not free water taps around either. The room was relatively quiet which was nice. The bed was really hard and not great for side sleepers. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice, but pushed certain restaurants hard (I assume there is a partnership) and the restaurant I tried at their recommendation was quite mediocre. The rooftop is nice and I enjoyed the lobby bar for lunch (the potato ravioli was fabulous) and a few glasses of wine here and there. The breakfast was amazing, everything was delicious and a huge spread. The location is perfect, very walkable. Overall, I’m not sure I’d stay again but I did have a mostly pleasant experience!

Hotel at Six certainly has its highlights, but overall I felt that for the price, it’s about a 3.5 out of 5 experience. The highlights: - Service / reception: every staff member we encountered was gracious, warm and kind. - Hotel gym: although modest in size, it was well equipped, clean and even when busy, did not feel crowded. - Room size: we were in a suite which was a bit more spacious, particularly the bathroom which was well designed. Not-as-impressive: - The suite had poor temperature regulation, we were unable to adjust anything the whole time. - the bed was a bit too firm and it was also difficult to sleep due to the bedding being overly warm. - breakfast, while well maintained, was a bit boring as it never changed during our week-long stay. It would be nice if they added variety to the hot dishes on different days. - room service prices are steep: the portions of food were not worth the cost. Food was also over-salted. - the view is just over a business park area, very bland. Overall I would say there’s nothing wrong but nothing amazing about the hotel. It’s also a bit more expensive than it should be, but given the good location I understand why it’s priced this way.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the hotel. It was a wonderful introduction to my time in Scandinavia. The location is fabulous, with everything in the city within an easy walking distance. The addition benefit of being so close to the galleria makes getting any a knickbacks you may have forgotten at home a breeze.

The service at the hotel during check-in was excellent and courteous, the breakfast was good, and the hotel’s location is perfect. The room is beautiful, but the bathroom isn’t properly maintained — the water leaks from the very small shower (not at a 5-star level, or even 4), and some of the room’s facilities, such as the refrigerator, don’t work properly. next time ill consider a newer hotel.
Shai V — Google review
We stayed in Stockholm for 4 nights at this hotel. The location is great as we were able to walk back and forth to the train station as well as the water and the other main areas. The hotel is done in a very tasteful way. It has a great bar area and the breakfast is very good as well. When we went to our room, I noticed the hallways were very dimly lit on top of which the walls are painted a dark grey! It was very strange given that the city doesn't get that much light to begin with so one would think, they would have everything light and airy. Our room was very nice but the only issue was that we were not able to control the thermostat. It was quite warm even though we had the temp at 16 degrees! That was a big complaint I had. Also the shower area was extremely small. I couldn't dry myself properly in the shower. Otherwise, it was a good place.

Hotel Hasselbacken is an upmarket establishment in central Stockholm, offering a range of amenities including a spa area, gym, bar, and restaurant with water views. The iconic Hasselback Potato was invented at the hotel's Restaurant Hasselbacken. The hotel is located near Grona Lund Amusement Park and just 25 minutes' walk from the city center in the Djurgarden district.
We had a lovely stay here as a family of four. The location couldn’t be better, with so many museums, attractions and even the city within walking distance or a short boat or tram ride away. The room was lovely and spacious enough for the four of us. The breakfast buffet was top notch, so much to select from and delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant twice, the menu is quite small but everything we tried was also delicious. From the front desk to the restaurant everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our room didn’t have a fridge, but we could leave the things we needed for the kids in the fridge at reception. We even got breakfast bags to take with us the morning we left, as we had to leave before the buffet opened (6:30). If we come back to visit Stockholm again, we would definitely stay here!

Overall impression of this hotel: the room is OK: its small but not bad. Our room had a limited view. The location is top, nice park, direct access to public transfer with the ferry being like 10 meters away. One thing that we found really unpleasant; we just wanted to have drinks and to play a game in the bar/restaurant, but were told that we couldn’t sit at the desired table because we only order drinks. The whole place was empty at that time and the tables they offered us, was either very small or outside (no heating). So it was just a matter of principle, which annoyed us. My Conclusion: for that price i wouldn’t recommend, if it was cheaper i would recommend.

Dining at the Hotel Hasselbacken restaurant was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with a touch of historic charm that makes the setting truly special. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care. The menu offers a nice variety, and every dish we tried was both delicious and well-balanced. The combination of high-quality ingredients and creative presentation really stood out. Located in a beautiful area of Stockholm, the restaurant is perfect not only for hotel guests but also for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a refined setting. I would definitely recommend it for both casual dinners and special occasions.

We recently stayed for 5 nights in a family suite on the ground floor (2 teens shared the pullout couch) and it was perfect for us. Kids had a bit of their own space at a distance from us, including patio doors that opened to a little courtyard. Room was across the hall from a lovely sauna and cold plunge room and we used it every day and there was never anyone there but us. Spacious clean bathroom with a great shower. Everything felt very clean. Helpful and kind front desk. You can borrow hotel bikes and ride around Djurgarden and feel like you're in the countryside or hop on the ferry and be downtown in minutes. Our favourite cafe Bla Porten was also across the road for easy food when we were too tired to go out. Morning buffet was excellent.

This review is for the restaurant. We had our daughter’s baptism lunch there and we were a fairly small party of 22. The staff were amazing and the food was really good. There was a jazz band playing at the restaurant that day which added to the atmosphere. We were really really pleased with everything and I wanted to give them a 5 star review but unfortunately the communication with the restaurant was a disaster on the weeks leading up to the event - they didn’t answer the phone nor did they answer emails. Hence the 4 stars.

Clean hotel with lovely decor. Good location in a green area. The boat service is easily accessible. Rooms are quite small. For two nights of the stay the bar was not accessible which is really poor. It is a service that they offer to all guests but then to close it out for two nights due to a private event is not great, what about all your other paying guests? We weren’t offered a discount as a result of this. Also, for the lunch we provided more than 24hrs notice for lunch orders, however, they advised they may not be able to accommodate vegetarian options, again we thought this was unreasonable as a hotel to suggest the chef won’t be able to pull together a vegetarian option with more than 24hrs notice. Front reception service is very accommodating and helpful. All other service let the place down.

Stayed two nights in a family suite the four of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The room was great and we slept well. The pullout couch as a little loud for my son as he tossed and turned one night, but overall we slept well. Breakfast was great, and the service from the hotel staff was great. Would definitely stay again. Tram stop right down the hill (4 minute walk) and just another 4 or so minutes to the ferry.

The Radisson Collection Strand Hotel, Stockholm is a historic gem nestled in the heart of Stockholm's picturesque waterways and medieval district. Dating back to 1912, this hotel offers sleek rooms with harbor views and an upmarket restaurant, as well as a swanky bar. The interior decor perfectly reflects the hotel's rich heritage while providing modern amenities for a luxurious 5-star experience. Some rooms offer stunning views of the waterfront, cultural center, and The Royal Dramatic Theatre.
Our stay at the Radisson Collection Strand Hotel in Stockholm was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel perfectly blends classic elegance with modern comfort. The location is unbeatable—right by the waterfront with beautiful views and just a short walk to major attractions like the Royal Palace and Old Town. The rooms were stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and a touch of luxury. Service was warm and professional, with staff always ready to assist. Breakfast was fresh and varied, served in a lovely setting that made mornings a pleasure. Whether you’re in Stockholm for leisure or business, this hotel offers a refined, relaxing experience in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay and I recommend this hotel for cleanliness, service, and location for visitors to Stockholm. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. Many places to visit were in 15-20 min walking distance and a stop for hop on/hop off and other boat tours was just outside. Plenty of restaurant choices in either direction. The staff was friendly and helpful. When the Charles bar opens, it will be even better!

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm hospitality of Jan and Kaddoour. Despite my late arrival, they welcomed me with remarkable kindness and professionalism, making me feel genuinely appreciated. Their refined manners and attention to detail reflect the hotel’s true spirit of excellence. I will certainly return — not only for the comfort and ambiance, but also for Jan, Kaddoour, and the entire exceptional team who made my experience unforgettable.

Just back from a lovely weekend in Stockholm. The Radisson Strand hotel was the perfect location. The hotel is very clean, the staff were all very pleasant. We had a junior suite. Our daughter was with us so we were provided with an extra bed for her in the room. The room was a good size ( 408) but the bathroom was very small for a suite. However this didn’t impede our stay and would not put me off staying there again. We had a partial view of the river. The beds were very comfortable, and our room was stocked with everything we needed. The hotel was quiet morning and night. My family went down for breakfast one morning but didn’t feel there was a good selection on offer and the price approx €60 for two was expensive for what was offered. All in all, we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend here for your visit to Stockholm. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and it’s very easy to get around on food from here.

Fantastic location, dated hotel. It is fine, nothing special but you are very central. The new Charles bar is horrible, avoid! The room was comfy although small. Premier status but not upgraded which is fine but it was comfy enough. Staff were friendly, the water was fresh. I would not say luxury or romantic but just bog standard ok!
Alex J — Google review
The location of this hotel is fantastic — right in the heart of Stockholm, with an impressive historic façade that immediately sets high expectations. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient, though the overall vibe leaned more towards 4 stars than 5. I had booked a “Presidential Suite – Sea View”, and I’ll admit, my expectations were flying as high as the title. On one hand, “Presidential Suite” — who wouldn’t feel a little giddy? On the other, “Sea View” — visions of sparkling water, graceful boats, serenity. The two together created a kind of euphoric balance. The suite consisted of a living room and a separate bedroom. The living room offered a truly magnificent view over the harbor — a postcard scene, worth every minute spent just gazing. Furnishings, however, were somewhat minimalistic, leaning towards “rental house staging” rather than curated luxury. Not unpleasant, but not exactly cozy or rich in detail. Then came the twist. Upon entering the suite, I found a small bathroom with a shower — modest in both size and design. Naturally, I assumed this was the guest WC — a common feature in suites of this level. The presence of a small shower seemed odd, but I figured there must be a larger, main bathroom elsewhere. And so the quest began. I explored every corner, opened every door, studied the walls in search of hidden panels — convinced there must be a “true” presidential bathroom somewhere. But no. That little entryway shower room… was it. There was no bathtub, no spacious bathroom sanctuary, no double vanity or soaking tub with a view of the bay. Just that compact, functional space near the door. It was hard not to feel a little deflated — a presidential suite with the soul of a compact cabin. Still, I have to say: the view was truly extraordinary. Sitting on the sofa and watching the boats drift by, you could almost forgive the rest. Almost.

The room and location was okay, but the staffs and service here is terrible! The worst I’ve ever experienced from any hotel. They can’t even communicate in English or Swedish properly. The female staff always gives a bad attitude when talked to. Don’t recommend this chain of hotel.

Villa Källhagen is an upscale hotel offering a variety of rooms and suites, some of which provide beautiful bay views. Situated alongside the picturesque Djurgårdsbrunn Canal, the hotel boasts a stylish restaurant with a terrace overlooking the tranquil waters. Nestled in the peaceful Diplomatstaden neighborhood near Ostermalm district, this charming hotel provides a serene retreat while remaining close to Stockholm's main attractions.
This was my third stay at Villa Kallhagen and once again it was wonderful. I traveled alone this time and I felt safe because of the location of the hotel. The front desk staff, Emma, was friendly and helpful, using my name to give me information that would help make my stay seamless. The food at breakfast buffet is wonderful and the dinners I ate in the restaurant were tasty and well priced. The salmon was cooked perfectly, Swedish meatballs were delicious and the sorbet was a great finish to a fantastic meal. The location of the hotel is excellent and using public transportation is very easy from here. I will always choose to stay here when visiting Stockholm. Thank you everyone at Villa Kallhagen!

Nice establishment, that we only visited for an evening meal. Good food and nice settings. If the weather is good and you sit outside, it is really nice. Service was good and fast. Could not rate the rooms.

I booked this place after seeing high reviews on booking.com. Firstly, the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating to my requests, but I wanted to write a review about the hotel itself. My stars go to their kindness and hospitality. However, this hotel was not for me and did not justify the price. Upon arrival, I was informed that there would be a cycling competition happening the next day with loud music outside the hotel and lots of people coming in on site. There was also a wedding party in the hotel that night, which ended around 12:30 am. If you are looking for a quiet, serene stay, you might need to check with the hotel to see if there are any events happening during your stay. The breakfast lacked quality - instant coffee, no black tea, the orange juice had gone bad (they replaced when I notified) the muesli was stale, no unsweetened yogurt, and the cucumbers and tomatoes looked dry. I didn’t see any cheese options other than brie and cottage cheese. The bread didn’t have much flavor, and there was no fish. The location is great, with a garden view close to the Nordic Museum, Östermalm, and T-Centralen. However, this is not a boutique hotel where everything is prepared with love and care.

Absolutely wonderful stay here! The Christmas decorations are beautiful and give the hotel such a cozy feel. The rooms are spacious and clean, have a great view over the water to Skansen, and are very modern and have everything you need. The location is right by a bus stop - buses only come about 20-30 minutes so you need to plan, but it is nice being out away from the busy and touristy parts of the city. It’s only 10-20 min to most places you want to get to by public transportation. Breakfast is delicious with many options, although I wish they had Swedish pancakes everyday instead of alternating between American pancakes. They were easy to communicate with before our stay to work out pricing questions and staff was very kind and helpful at check-in - would absolutely stay here again!

Enjoy the rooms that also serve as a free sauna in the summer. Don't fret about that silly thermostat on the wall; it doesn't work. Don't worry about telling the staff your room (sauna) is too warm. They're not really sending mechanical to check it out. Open windows are no help. But they will give you a fan to blow the hot air around your room. Just remember, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Just look at Dolph Lundgren. I bet he spent his formative years living in this hotel. If you're looking for consistency, you've found it. They don't do the little things nor the big things ... consistently. Don't expect Kleenex to be refilled or your room to be at a comfortable temperature. FYI - this room was an upgrade.

I stayed at Hotel Diplomat in September and booked a Deluxe Sea View Room on the second floor. The location is excellent right by the waterfront in a beautiful historic building, and breakfast was good with a nice selection. However, one major issue affected my stay: the large exterior flags right outside the windows. They made loud flapping and hitting noises against the poles, which became very disturbing especially at night. It was honestly hard to sleep with that constant sound.

At first, we weren’t very happy with our room, but the staff there were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to take care of us. They upgraded us to the best room they could offer and made sure we had everything we needed. I especially want to mention Victoria – she was one of the best and helped us in every possible way. Room: Had room 408. This room is not for people with disability as there are a couple of stairs to the bed. High ceiling. Comfortable bed. I liked that several fluffy pillows were available. But the street was rather noisy (even at night) and the old window could not block all the sound from the street. The toilet had adjustable lighting which was good. It was possible to have super bright light, which is good for makeups. Heated bathroom floor was also a plus. Location: Central location. Close to shops, restaurants, cafées. Close to the sea with nice view from the outdoor seatings. It was not super pleasant during heavy traffic, but enjoyable with less traffic (at early breakfast times). Breakfast: All the classic breakfast options available and more. The cold food was served as a buffet and warm food was ordered from the menu. The breakfast items were generally of good quality. Hotel: Cute hotel. The elevator was rather old and slow. The elevator door had to be manually opened and closed. It was sometimes not coming as some people did not close the door properly from their floor.

Great place to relax and chat with friends. I like the people here. Very friendly and welcoming. Have tried the truffle pinsa and the raw beef and must say that I’ve been very pleased during both my visits. I absolutely loved the truffle pinsa and the raw beef was also very good. Only thing I was a little bit disappointed about was the poor supply of non-alcoholic wines. Would’ve love to have a non-alcoholic red wine to that raw beef. Other than that the whole experience was very nice.

It is just in the center and nice to have fika or whatever you want 😄 They have so many options so i think it is worth to give it a try !

Favorite café shop in Lidingö. The Swedish coffee here is for free and you can buy other type of coffee if you like. Sweets here are really recommended! Just so good!

Great cafe in Lidingö Centrum. Fresh food and excellent service. Wide choice of breads, Buns and cakes, and generous portions at lunch. Perfect cafe to work from. The only downside is that the interior needs a bit of freshening up.

I tried a cake from them and it was delicious! Great combination of flavors and balance of taste!

If you want to have fika this is one of the best spots in the island. Right in Lidingö Centrum, they have options both for lunch and dessert. When it comes to drinks, their chai latte never disappoints. Only drawback is the prices, that tend to be on the expensive side.

Very nice staff, several vegan options for sweets and lunch. This is a lovely cozy cafe I can recommend. The carrot cake was so good!

The blonde that worked in the morning today was so lovely and kind, excellent service

This is just your standard cafe/bakery. It's great if you want to escape the cold and warm up a bit with a nice hot drink and sandwhich.
