The 40 best breakfast and brunch in Charlottetown

Our last meal in PEI before heading home post vacation, we could not have made a better choice. Exceptional service, food and atmosphere. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the crab dip was also a great choice. Easily the best mussels in town, the lobster toast and burger were also top notch. An excellent way to wrap up a fine holiday!

I visited this restaurant in 2022 and had an absolutely wonderful meal. This is my second visit and sadly I only had a little bit of time, I can only assume the food is still great, but I only had time for a glass of wine and a dozen oysters - which were very nice and freshly shucked in front of me. Service was professional, efficient and personal. I am just sorry I wasn’t in town long enough to have dinner again. The interior is warm and cozy and well thought out. If you are looking for a lovely dinner, I have to say don’t miss this place. I will be back.

Sims is great, even recommended by people back home in Saint John for the atmosphere and food. Was very well taken care of during our dinning, water was never empty and a finished plate couldn’t last more than a minute before being whisked away. All little things that make the experience all that much better. Our server was pleasant, offering specials and recommendations and ensuring we received the best experience we could. Visit again in the future

I just had the most delightful experience, and I wanted to share. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with incredible flavors that made my taste buds sing. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided service that was truly top-notch. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations and made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience!

Fantastic steakhouse. I highly recommend. I had the tenderloin, my husband had the strip loin and oysters. Both excellent steaks. Cooked perfectly. Without a doubt the best seafood chowder I have ever had in my entire life. If you're looking for a romantic cozy place for an excellent meal or even an evening with friends you won't go wrong with the atmosphere or the menu. We definitely will be back.

Great restaurant in the heart of Charlottetown, we were looking for an upscale dining spot and this was a great find! Food was delicious, flavourful and fresh. Staff were friendly. Decor was nice and cozy Lots of items to choose from and they were accommodating to dietary restrictions Recommend to make a reservation as it does get quite busy

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a 6 star rating!!! From the beginning to the end of our experience, it was AMAZING!! We had appetizers, steak, seafood, desserts, and alcohol drinks, and everything was plate licking good!!! This is a MUST VISIT restaurant, it won't disappoint....

Lovely spot! Bright & friendly. Quick service. Kid & pet friendly (patio for pets, water bowl outside). Great coffee. The menu has options for different dietary needs including gluten free & vegetarian. On-site parking available. I had the yogurt with berries & granola and a London Fog. Recommend both!

Extremely slow service for such simple dishes. It took 30 mins for things to start coming. The BLT and eggs Benedict were decent, but the receiver breakfast and grilled cheese + soup were not good at all. Potato soggy, bacon overcooked into chips, and rock hard toast.

-This is an odd, not a coffee shop, even though it looks like one. -Receiver has food and sit down table service, along with a lot of baked goods, that are top notch. And coffee. -Coffee is ok. Baked goods definitely worth checking out. Sourdough, lemon tart, butter tart, and another one we had were all excellent. -The identity crisis of coffee, baked goods, and food with table service is confusing. Wanted to sit and enjoy coffee, but then you’re taking up table space. There’s tables eating, and then there’s just ppl there working on computer.

Lovely, bright space to enjoy a quick meal of a nice coffee! I always really enjoy their Moroccan rice bowls, and their freshly baked breads are a staple! Their staff are attentive and thoughtful. Lovely place!

A very enjoyable breakfast with great food and coffee. Atmosphere was ambient but able to talk. Quesadilla tasted fabulous with a perfect balance of different ingredients and flavours.

The taste level of their espresso is top notch. If you are an espresso lover, I recommend the iced latte with half the milk to fully taste the espresso. Chefs kiss. The breakfast sandwich SLAPS, definite repeat order every time I visit. The bread, the bacon jam, the pickled onions, all work!!

Came here for breakfast. Had an excellent latte and egg plate. Great atmosphere and the service was super friendly!

My low rating is due to the 1 hour wait time I had for food, and a missing item when finally came. Many guests at the time had the same experiences as me, with missing or wrong items and absurdly long wait times. When the food finally came though, it was good. Not good enough to explain the wait though, which was explained to me by the waiter as “short on kitchen facilities”. The mussels were great the pastas were decent. Would not order the steak.

We wanted someplace to eat that was quite and not too busy and on Friday night this is the place to be. It was not busy, no reservation needed, and quiet enough to enjoy the evening without yelling at each other. We had salads with toppings that were very nice, especially the arugula and pear salad with smoked salmon.

Enjoyed our stop at Casa Mia. I ordered the Green Eggs & Ham Omelette, no regrets & loved the name. Coffee there was great & so was the sourdough bread. So great, we bought a loaf and coffee beans to take home.

We had an absolutely delicious meal and the service was great. Hernan served us, he was wonderful. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. I have already recommended them to friends. We took home a loaf of sour dough bread and foccacia. The bread is unbeleivable. If we lived close by we would be regulars. We will definitely be back next summer.

Casa Mia offers meals for all time of the Day. I was there for breakfast. Confortable and beautifully set , classy, service is impeccable. My pancakes were tasty and substantial, couldn’t finish. The long espresso was very well prepared and served as it should.

It was an extremely disappointing dining experience. The steak was overly, overly salty, and although we ordered it medium, the meat was so tough and dry that it was almost impossible to chew. The blueberry mint cocktail was also terrible. To avoid ruining the evening, we tried to eat some other dishes, but we made it clear that we were unhappy with the steak. The manager’s “solution” was to remake the same dish — which was just as bad the second time. In the end, we paid around $100 per person and left the restaurant frustrated and unsatisfied. We could barely touch the steak, fries, or the drink — everything had to be left behind. The manager never apologized and simply said they couldn’t issue a refund, only remake it. Truly a terrible experience, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Our company was planning to host a dinner here, but after this, I definitely won’t consider it anymore.

I’ve been to Casa for both brunch and dinner, and both were amazing!! The restaurant is so cute and has a great vibe. The staff were also SO kind and helpful. Will definitely come again.

Fabulous venue, great decor, varied menu with lots of local delicacies. Staff is very warm and friendly, as always on this island !

Redwater Grille served us when almost every restaurant in Charlottetown was closed; service was excellent and food was absolutely delicious. I could not recommend more. Came to the restaurant for an event. The appetizers were so good and they make some great mocktails as well! I will say my burger was a tad on the dry side. But the mashed potatoes were amazing! Also love the atmosphere and design! It felt like fine dining, and the staff were fantastic. Would definitely come again!

As you can probably tell by the pictures online, this is one of the most romantic dining sitting in Charlottetown! The layout wraps around the bar with warm lights and dark cedar colours softening the mood. The bar and live drink mixing highlights the centre of the dining room and gracefully pulls your attention when the bartender shakes up a delight! I am a local with a trained taste for good food and I always recommend RedWater to friends and family as I’m a repeat customer.

Dined at this restaurant today for lunch. Restaurant was very quiet…only four tables/booths occupied. Ordered the chicken wonton nachos and was disappointed. The toppings were scarce. I’ve had these before but this time they were not impressive to say the least. Our waitress delivered our order to the table. As quiet as the restaurant was, not once did she come back to our table to check on our meal or refill our water glasses. I left a 15% tip bit if I’m being honest, she did not deserve it. Won’t be back anytime soon and sad as it was one of my fav restaurants downtown.

Popped in here for a coffee and dessert at the end of the evening. This was our first time visiting and definitely won't be our last. Service was incredible, friendly and knowledgeable, food was over the top. We are looking forward to returning for a full meal with our friends

Came in for breakfast while staying at the hotel. Service was great, friendly and helpful staff. The food itself was good, but the sausage was very salty. Enough that my six year old son noticed it. He loved the French toast. Prices are high, which while not abnormal in a hotel like this, is worth noting with so many other places nearby.

Wow, what a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was really great, creating a perfect setting for a meal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time!

Absolutely delicious! Server from another pub recommended this place and it was just what we were looking for. Delicious, high quality food. We had lobster roll, they make their own rolls and you can definitely taste it. Then we ordered crab dip with also house made tortilla chips (they should def write that in menu). The dip was delicious as well. And we ended it with great caramel cake. The staff were really nice and helpful. If you come to Charlottetown seeking good food, this is your must go place.

We had a good time here and enjoyed a great meal. We didn't have a reservation so the only table available to us was outside, with a chance of rain. Fortunately it didn't rain and we were able to talk easily with no one else near by. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, but the food was great.

We came here on our last night in PEI as part of our honeymoon and they made it so special for us! The service from the get go was lovely, the ambiance was beautiful and the food was unforgettable! We started off with the baked oysters and a salad. We had never tried baked oysters before but WOW were they amazing! For our mains, we ordered the seafood linguine and the lobster thermidor and they were both such amazing dishes! The linguine portion was huge and the different seafood in it was so delicious! The lobster was creamy and cooked perfectly! It was nice to have some of the work done with it split in half too! We finished off with the a hazelnut chocolate dessert which was divine! Would highly recommend Sea Rocket if you haven’t come by!

This place is packed so prior reservation is advised. We were here for dinner and had the Tuna Crudo (absolutely love this), lobster roll and pan fried haddock which were really good. Service was great and ambiance was lively. Would love to come back.

Had a wonderful dinner with my husband on our last night in Charlottetown. The food and cocktails were excellent - we thoroughly enjoyed the cooked oysters and the scallop main course. The service was really friendly and attentive and the restaurant also has great decor/atmosphere. It was our best meal in Charlottetown. Would definitely recommend.

Wanted a good fish place. Called to make reservations and was able to nab a last minute table. Upon arriving we were seated and could see them shucking oysters fresh off the ice. The bar was appealing and the restaurant was bright. The food was phenomenal! I ordered the fish taccos with truffle fries and the boyfriend got battered fish and fries. I wanted a fancy non alcoholic drink and they asked if they could surprise me with a drink. They brought back a ginger beer drink mixed with fresh peppermint and lime. It was refreshing. Desert was popcorn, Carmel ice cream with crushed almonds. It was really really good, I wasn’t sure how popcorn would pair with ice cream. Our waitress was friendly and checked up on us regularly . Just make sure to bring a sweater or shall because it was a bit on the chillier side.

Great for a quick bite near the water front, lots of tourists. Gets fairly windy on upper deck patio. I got the fish and chips with fish tacos. The food was tasty however I’d recommend trying more local restaurants . The fish batter was on the hard side. Overall good meal I don’t think I’d return for food, possibly an alcoholic beverage.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The seafood was absolutely outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The taste and quality of the food truly exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the view was breathtaking, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for seafood lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a meal with a great atmosphere.

Great location, see pictures for ratings. *Burger meal - the size of the burger was small, especially the patty - a little disappointed but the fries were excellent. Salads for two of the meals were very good, the salad dressing was very tasty. Service 5/5 thank you Glad there was the elevator as it was needed for one of the family members. Enjoyed the outdoor seating as it was a beautiful day.

We stopped for a beer while visiting Charlottetown on a very hot, sunny and humid day. The balcony offered shade, a nice breeze and a good view of the waterfront below. We both ordered craft beers from the Peakes Quay label. The were cold and delicious. The sour was very tart, which I liked. We shared an order of Potato nachos. They were pretty good - good topping ratio with chips. Our server was attentive and we felt well looked after. This was a great stop on a sticky afternoon.

We waited for happy hour to try the oysters at $1.50 each — and you can’t imagine how good they were! We also ordered tacos and drinks, and everything was fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent value. We even came back in the afternoon for drinks, and the live music was fantastic. Highly recommended!

I visited here on a Friday evening around supper, so it was quite busy. However, we were able to get a table just fine and we sat on the patio overlooking the water. The server we had (can't remember her name), was fantastic. She was very friendly and attentive. All our orders were correct, with no mistakes. The food was good all around! Only complaint would be the chairs and patio. The chairs weren't the most comfortable and the patio did not feel secure. It felt like it was on a slant, and every time someone walked the entire thing would shake. Not the most comforting feeling haha.

2 Ontarians doing an East Coast tour. Arrived at The Quay for dinner. Got adventurous and ordered muscles and oysters to try for the first time EVER. The oysters were yummy, but the muscles were hands down amazing. Served in a white sauce seasoned perfectly to compliment the flavor of the muscles. Definitely going to order this again. The seafood bake was delicious, the side salad of greens and strawberries with raspberry vinaigrette dressing was to die for. The veiw of the harbor made this experience all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended!!!!

The place looked nice, has a cottage kinda vibe. Good seating area. I had the vanilla latte and nutella latte but didn’t like the taste of them. Nutella latte was supposed to taste sweeter than a regular latte but it was really bitter. Had an everything bagel & cream cheese too which was fine

Dazzling environment and definitely one of the most aesthetic cafés out there. Did not get a chance to try the food but the drinks were delicious. Would mention that the drink menu is very limited in terms of non-coffee choices (with only teas as other options). Perfect place for a cute photo opportunity or a bustling study session with friends.

The roasted chicken panini was EXCELLENT. It was so good, I couldn’t stop eating it to get a photo. Just thinking about it now makes my mouth water. The staff are amazing, and I love the atmosphere. If I’m back in town, I’m definitely going here! SO GOOD 😋

Small tasteless everything bagel and barely any cream cheese for $6. Nutella latte was underwhelming. Would not recommend.

One of my favourite cafes and definitely my favourite in Charlottetown. I first came here on my first trip to Charlottetown years ago. I was so happy to find out it was still here and thriving on a return trip to the city. Pretty much stopped in every day of my trip here.

They got it right. Great food and coffee in an eclectic space but not too woke. The Latte and Americano was great and I ordered the Californian toast , which was a PEI riff on the Australian avocado smash. My husband got the fresh blueberry baked in pancakes and demolished them lol . There are library of games and books and the ambiance would make you linger. Outside seating was lovely today.

Walked by and the name intrigued us so we stopped in. Funky little coffee shop, I loved that they had board games out to play, and had a ton of cool vinyl for sale as well. I had an iced cardamom latte and my husband had a cappuccino, both were excellent. Loved them so much we bought a pound of beans to take home.

When I visited Prince Edward Island, I had the pleasure of exploring Linda’s coffee shop and restaurant for the first time. It was an absolute delight!

This was a real find, though really easy to find. It is a quiet oasis is a busy tourist zone. Real food, made with care and love. The menu is mostly simple classics, like burgers, sandwiches and breakfasts, with a couple Arabian specialties added in. We tried a Sfeeha, a beef dumpling, that was delicious, and a new experience for us. next was: Egg salad sandwich: perfectly made on lightly toasted bread, nicely chilled egg salad with celery, and super crispy iceberg lettuce. Best we have had away from home. Cheeseburger: old school hand-made patty, juicy with a nice smash crust, on a potato bun with a couple cold tomato slices and some perfectly chilled iceberg lettuce, again. A nice surprise was some nice caramelized onions on top of the patty. Really delicious…and a burger that could be eaten with one hand, a rare thing these days. Yes, the portions are smaller than what you see these days at chain restaurants, so if you want to be grossly over fed, this might not be your place. The prices are also lower and commensurate with portion sizes.. It is also quiet and calm, and tastefully decorated, just like the service there. Highly recommend.

One of the only breakfast spots that opens early, which is why we visited. The sausage links were a nasty mush. The bacon tasted microwaved - just gross, and the syrup that came with my sons pancakes came straight out of the fridge cold. Which ruined his pancakes. Very nice people, but worst meal I've had downtown.

The person who served us was so nice that I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, what I ordered (breakfast sandwich with egg, ham, and cheese) was tasteless. My partner just picked at what he ordered (omelette). Based on our experience, I recommend going elsewhere for breakfast.

We were the only people in the restaurant. Ordered 2 clam chowders with toast. It was very hot and delicious! It took a very long time for the soups to come. 3 stars because it was a mediocre place.

Food is amazing, and staff are lovely! They offer table service and we sometimes stop by to get hot drinks to go. The owner waited our table - we said we would share a dish. We did not ask them to do this, but they split our order up for us in the kitchen and brought it out own two plates, which was so thoughtful! It was delicious. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with fries. We will definitely be back! We also love that they're supporting artists in the community by displaying their art that is for sale.

My second favourite spot in the downtown area of Charlottetown. Amazing longtime Lebanese owners, makes some of the best falafels ever.

Great little diner, first place we stopped to eat at in PEI, we did have to wait a while for a server to sit us even though it didn't seem that busy. The food was very quick to arrive, and we got three breakfast plates and a steak sandwich. The breakfast plates were very good, unfortunately the sandwich was pretty dry as it had very little cheese and absolutely no sauce or au jus to go with it. They provided HP steak sauce for the sandwich but I'm not very fond of the flavor. Luckily I asked for gravy which was poured over the fries, so I scraped up what I could to moisten the steak. The waitresses were fairly nice, we did get constant coffee refills, but no water refills. Long line to pay for food as there is a constant stream of people coming in just to get a coffee and to-go pastry. Overall not bad for the price and food, I would recommend.

Delicious and reasonably priced breakfast. They were packed but service was still relatively quick. Eggs were runny as expected and well buttered. Bacon and ham was tasty. I was excited for the sausage as it had a pretty unique size as far as breakfast sausages go, but unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. The temperature was on point, but it seems the sausage's farce itself had been undersalted/underseasoned and had a bit too fine ground a texture. Small complaint in scope of the whole experience. Would definitely come back to try a lunch or dinner special if I end up back in PEI. Reminds me of the Route 99 diner back in my hometown.

Wanted something quick and decently priced. When we pulled up it was a full parking lot which is always a good sign. We walked in and we’re seated within minuets. We had barely put in our order and BAM foods at our table. Hot and fresh. Our server was there anytime we needed her. The staff were all smiling and cheerful. Can’t wait to come back.

We were in town for the U15 Boys AAA Soccer Nationals, from the first call with Mike who owns the diner I knew we were in good hands. Being a team of 26 individuals, and 20 of them teens, we knew we should cater meals in rather than try and go to restaurants. Mike was patient and kind and provided us with our own menu to keep within our budget and understanding dietary needs of the players. We had five meals catered by the diner, and every meal was exceptional. from pick up to packaging and to taste it was flawless. I would highly recommend this diner for any catering needs. Great value for quality food. We ordered fish and chips, bacon cheeseburger platter and seafood chowder. Good 'ole diner vibe. I particularly enjoyed the milkshake that came in the metal cup. Definitely will return if opportunity arises.

Perfect diner experience. I have been coming here after many a night that's gone later than it should have for half of my life now. Quality and prices have stayed relatively the same - which is crazy, in the best way!! Maids is a staple for a weekend breakfast - not fancy, just good, hearty, fairly priced + fast. 🩷

I got the Marian’s Turkey wrap and it was like Christmas dinner in a wrap, so so so good. My lunch date had Bacon Cheese dog with onion rings, and they said it was awesome. All around great place to eat. There is a line during peak hours, but it moves along pretty good.

This was our first time to PEI and Slaymaker and Nichols made it an incredible experience. The accommodation was beautiful. The room was cozy and provide a very romantic vibe. The service was unmatched. I have never received such great service from anywhere I have stayed in Canada or any other country. Everything was taken care of. The food was incredible and is a local favourite. Best restaurant I have eaten at in a very long time!

Came for dinner at Slaymaker and Nichols Gastro House as highly recommended by others. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere makes this a fun spot for dinner or a drink. We ordered the mussels and lobster dip as apps - both were delicious. For entree, we ordered the blue salmon and ribs & Mac. The blueberry and salmon combination was insanely good, and the seasonal veggies were fresh/well prepared. We also tried the house made raspberry lemonade ginger ale - delicious! Less sweet than your bottled ginger ale with a nice flavour.

My husband and I were taking a cruise up around New England and Canada and had a day trip into Charlottetown and we were recommended to this absolutely amazing pub for lunch. We both ordered the seafood chowder which I will tell you when the waitress put that bowl in front of me, my eyes popped out of my head! I have never had, and I’m pretty sure I never will again, experience such an amazing seafood chowder! It was a generous portion and tucked into it were three perfectly seared large sea scallops, six beautiful muscles and the soup itself was loaded with lobster meat. I mean, I’m still thinking about it and I’ve been home for a week. We were seated right away, cozy atmosphere. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I absolutely could not recommend this better!

Finally tried the restaurant my friends have been raving about!😻😻😻 I’ve heard so many good things about this place from my classmates and coworkers, and I finally got to try it today — it did not disappoint👍 I ordered the Blue Salmon and the Caneburry Homemade Ginger Ale, and both were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented！ The restaurant has such a cozy, stylish atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Totally lived up to the hype! (^_^)v

Went for my wife’s 40th birthday. Great ambience. Cocktails were amazing. House lager was surprisingly good. Had a large group so we were able to try a big selection of the menu and everything was delicious. Tagine pot pie was amazing. Mac and ribs were also very good. Burger was great. 1/2 Cheese board was unique and had good value. Mussels were top notch. A bit understaffed so drinks were slower but the server was friendly and food came quickly. Would def recommend to anyone visiting!!

Weird experience? Decor is beautiful. Has so much potential to be a great spot. I arrived with my partner just after 3pm on a Sunday. The place was 3/4 empty. The hostess got really weird and insisted we take a 4 top by the washrooms because it was “happy hour”???. We insisted on moving to a 2 top by the window. She frowned but let us do it. (Btw, only 2 other people sat down in the space we were in, the entire very LOOONNGGG over 2 hours we spent here) So we get the menus. We order the half charcuterie, two cocktails and our mains (pot pie and tacos) all at once. This takes maybe 20 min to arrive. Portion was good, a little too much vege vs meat and cheese for my taste but I know it’s seasonal and my other half liked it more than I. Cocktails were…fine? Standard fare. So we pick away at it expecting the mains to come. They don’t. We’ve already been here an hour. We finish the board. Still waiting. Waiting. It’s been 30 minutes. I approach a waitress and find out apparently they don’t even fire the meats until after your apps. Insane. Well, the food must be excellent. It eventually arrives. It is not. The pot pie was, okay. Cinnamon in a pot pie is certainly a choice. Again, my partner likes it much better than I. The tacos though. My god. This was, literally, the single most bland thing I have ever consumed. It was SOAKED in so much cooking oil even the fresh slaw vege tasted like oil. There was no spice, whatsoever and I am not a fan of spice so for me to find it bland really means, it’s bad. The amount of oil in the first bite was a sensory nightmare. Literally made the interior of my mouth slick. I attached a photo of the oil that was dripping from taco. I will maybe go back for drinks only because the atmosphere was nice but I would not bother with food.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, perfect for a romantic date night. I’ve always had amazing dine in experiences with delicious food and drinks and lovely staff. Unfortunately the one time I ordered food to go it wasn’t as good, so definitely eat in for the best experience.

If I could give more than 5⭐ I would. My mom and I were in Charlottetown for a week and ate here 3 times. It was just so good! We didn't want to try anywhere else and be disappointed missing an amazing meal we could have had at Pilot House. The food was incredible - we tried a few different dishes and everything was excellent. The staff were great. Highly recommend!

Such delicious food. We loved the variety of toppings on the poke bowls and Buddha bowl. The staff is so friendly. This had beautiful interior decor too.

Amazing restaurant in Charlottetown. Great vibe - indoors and outdoors. They have a large terrace though we ate inside which was also very nice! Not too loud so we could hear each other (group of 7). Food was very good. Excellent gluten free options and safety- two celiacs in our group. Amd the GF food was delicious- chicken tenders ! so hard to find GF. kids menu had lots of options - son was happy with chicken tenders which weren't too crispy. All other meals overall very good, especially beet and goat cheese salad wow! Huge fish and chips portions which were great. Only thing is the calamari which I found not very tasty - batter was very bland and lacking salt. Couldn't even finish it... standout service in the restaurant though - my son lost a toy behind our bench and they went way out of their way to help us get the toy back! Was not a simple extraction but it was a successful one! highly recommend.

Excellent meal and service. Big thanks to emma for all the hospitality. Poke bowl was great and right proportion of rice to everything else. Chowder was delicious and rich on seafood. Sticky date pudding was excellent and Emma's recommendation to have sauce on the side was a brilliant idea to reduce sweetness. Would love to come back.

We had an amazing late lunch experience while visiting PEI. The gluten free options (I have celiac) were amazing! They had many entrees that come gluten free and many others that could be modified to make them gluten free. The waitress was super knowledgeable and friendly; Loved her east coast accent and charm.

The chef really knows how to make the magic happen. The stater bread was amazing, French fries were one of the best one I ever had. All the dressings were delicious and thoughtful.

Ordered Chicken Alfredo and Steak & Parm Frites for take out. It was a 30 mins wait, but worth it. Even after an hour, the food tasted so good! The Alfredo had so much flavour. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the chimichurri sauce for the steak; it was too green tasting and not seasoned well.

We stayed at the Rodd while visiting Charlottetown and ate here twice. First for dinner and then for breakfast the next day. We arrived later in the day and thought the hotel restaurant would be a good option for dinner. The service was extremely slow and the food was mediocre at best. We returned in the morning for breakfast but that's when things really went off the rails. Not only was the service extremely slow but they also got my order completely wrong. When I pointed it out, they made no attempt to fix it and just left it for me to eat. It took forever to get a refill of our coffee and the wait staff did not seem to be working as a team. The waiter for the table next to us brought coffee for top-ups but didn't even look at us. With so many other options only a couple blocks away it was easy to enjoy all our other meals elsewhere.

I love this restaurant, this is my husbands fave in PEI too. Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere, professional staff. Went back a second time we loved it so much. Such an amazing deal for the mussels and the seafood chowder is excellent!

What a fantastic evening! I went with my family and we sat in the lounge and were served by Spencer. He was wonderful!! Request him when you go. As tourists, he gave us great recommendations and was so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and it was a fun atmosphere to be in. The historic building was an added bonus. Highly recommend. The food and service was phenomenal.

My Husband and I had Breakfast at the restaurant. We had great food and an excellent service. I would like to complement our server Zoe. She provided excellent service she was very attentive to our needs, very pleasant and friendly. She worked hard to provide us with a great breakfast She even toasted my husband’ GF toast twice to ensure it was Nicely toasted both sides. Thank Zoe🙂 We will be back to the restaurant.

Had their $20 weekend brunch. It was more food than what we bargained for! Delicious too. Eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, potato wedges, baked beans, fresh fruits. Coffee/tea $3.50 extra or mimosa $7.50 extra. They were short staffed but were kind enough to accommodate us for outdoor patio seating. Terrific experience. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I spent one night at Rodd in Charlottetown last week and really enjoyed our stay as usual. Had dinner at their restaurant. Food was delicious. Our waitress Petranella was wonderful, attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend the hotel and the restaurant. Can’t wait to return.

Claims of worlds best bagel dont go unfounded. I had a BLT on a bagel and it was amazing! I stopped there often for tea. It was a very fun atmosphere.

I was in Charlottetown doing genealogy and stopped in here a few times. Breakfast Bagel was amazing. Every drink I got was made perfect. Staff were very friendly and quick. If I lived in Charlottetown I would be there all the time.

Great services wide variety of coffee and tea. Foods are awesome. Green tea (matcha) latte is great alternative if you get bored of regular coffee latte. Very cozy place. They have different things going on every month.

This beautiful cafe is a total gem and must-visit in Charlottetown. Carrying on its namesake’s legacy, the walls inside are adorned with local artists’ work - carefully curated by the owner. Spend some time to admire and/or take a piece of PEI’s art scene home with you! The feel may change depending upon the current collection. Food is delicious and coffee options plentiful - even several sugar-free flavoured latte options! Quite honestly one of the better lattes I’ve had anywhere. The locally made Fritz Chocolates are available on the shelves - made for some great gifts and of course a treat for myself for later. Rich and high quality chocolate with some cute names and inspired flavours.

For me, 4* is a very high rating. Stopped here for coffee and lunch on a beautiful summer day. Great location, nice menu, reasonable prices, outdoor seating. Great place to people watch across from the cathedral.

Delightful atmosphere, photos don’t do it justice. Perfect daytime light through window. Great pumpkin pie!! Coffee flavour better than competitor (‘reciever’ coffee house) down the road near main high street. Asked partner what size coffee he wanted for a flat white (?) not sure that was intentional and he got a MASSIVE Starbucks style pint mug of coffee for a flat white? Not really possible. Then didn’t ask my size so I got a typically ‘flat white’ sized Cappucino, would think as standard it would come as medium? Anyhu’s. Breakfast burrito - looooads of overpowering rosemary, would have liked to have known that before as would have ordered something else. Also needs just something of moisture inside? Although side sauces were great, sour cream and homemade hot sauce! Partner got sundried tomato wrap….. bit empty, lots of salad inside.. Served with a - you guessed it - a side salad. Unbalanced filling, too much leaf to not much ness to balance out price point and flavour ratio. All in all, would be willing to try again and try different bits on menu, great service, sweet young servers, but not quite on the products.

Lovely late lunch at the Gallery Cafe in Charlottetown, PEI chicken Caesar Wrap had lots of chicken, dressing was good, enough but not too much. The burrito wrap was also tasty. Sat outside under a large tree on their shaded deck. Staff was pleasant and helpful!

Deceptively large bowl of mussels! Comes with many more mussels than advertised, and it was a wonderful battle trying to finish them all. I got the spinach and goat cheese ones (comes with a bunch of sliced mushrooms that the server gave me a heads up about) and it was delicious. I had to reason with myself that I didn't have to drink all of creamy broth left over, it was that good. We also got the southwest nachos to share as an appetizer which were a large portion and a generous amount of dips came with it. Service was efficient and good, refilled waters regularly and offered other drinks as needed. Would definitely recommend!

Came here with my wife for a drink and small bite to eat. We ordered the Sweet Potato Poutine and it may have been one of the best things we've ever eaten. The fries themselves were perfectly cooked and the plentiful toppings tied it together fantastically. The beer offerings were a mix of local and national selections and there was an adequate selection of wines and scotch.

Really good food and nice outdoor patio. Best dish I tasted was the seafood pasta I recommend that one. We got the fish and chips (pretty good), salmon with fried rice (not recommend tasted plain), Chicken pasta (didn’t try), Roasted haddock (it was okay), Seafood pasta (best one)

First time visiting the island. We decided to try John Browns based on the great reviews. This place did not disappoint. I had the pan seared haddock and my husband had the seafood chowder and steak sandwich. The haddock was the best dish I have ever had. The chowder and sandwich were fantastic as well. Well done 👏🏻

I had dinner this evening with my parents and we all loved the food. I had the beet salad without cheese and it was delicious. Really hit the spot (and I don't often say that about salads because a lot of restaurants make them up bland). Highly recommend.

Food is mediocre. Lots of shell pieces inside of lobster roll. Nearly lost a tooth. When asked about it, the server just said it's the people who package the Lobster up and not the kitchen's fault...NO APPOLOGY or option to trade it out. The side salad had fairly weepy lettuce and I can't believe they didn't bring out tartar sauce with the Fish and Chips, that is basic stuff! Sea Rocket next door is a lot better, spend your money there.

Mediocre meal for $112. Calamari was terrible - why offer a super spicy version? 2 orders of mussels: again … mediocre at best. Burger and fries were fine. We can’t really understand why this restaurant is so popular!

Just finished having brunch at The Sam’s. It was our very first time trying this place. We checked the reviews, and they were insanely good. But we were so, so disappointed with the food. I ordered a fried chicken burger, and my boyfriend ordered a steak sandwich. The bread was dry, the chicken was definitely a frozen chicken patty, and the steak wasn’t seasoned properly. It was anything but a good experience and it costed us almost $40. Never going back again! Don’t know why they have such great reviews.

Decent place to get some food. There is the option to order food without the usual side, and that makes the food about $6 cheaper.

I don’t understand how this location is absolutely disgusting compare to Cornwall. We will never eat again here and rather drive to Cornwall. Last time, they had no mashed potatoes at 6pm. Today, employee was pretty rude to old ladies next to us who were waiting for their simple meal for well over 20 min in a half empty restaurant. Next, our order ( which we also were waiting for a long time ) came incorrect. Also, it is the first time ever I was told that I can’t get only carrots as veggies with the meal. This has never been an issue at Cornwall location.

We frequent Sam's quite often. Service is quick with experienced servers. The food is good and quite reasonable as expected from a lond standing family restaurant. It is a go-to for a quick standard fair meal (mainly breakfast. Those massive blueberry pancakes are a favourite)

The best Hot Hamburgers in town with lots of veggies and nice dark fresh french fries.. Ya gotta have the nice crispy Fries.. could not eat it all so took the leftovers home for a night snack when I get hungry from the Munchies if you know what I mean, nudge nudge. I just loves the munchies...

I was at Smitty's in Charlottetown today and I cannot say enough about how amazing our waitress, Lexi, was. First of all the service was fantastic, but this waitress was the best I have ever had in any restaurant anywhere! She was just so present to us as if we were her only customers. She made us feel so appreciated and it was genuine. I can't believe I didn't notice her nails, but that speaks of her attention to us. Will we go back, in a heartbeat. Thank you for the best experience in a restaurant ever!!!

This should be THE go-to breakfast place on the island! The service is so warm and friendly - we couldn’t have had better service. The food is tasty and brings something unique to familiar dishes without straying from what makes them beloved. The coffee is hot and tasty (I drink mine black so I can attest to the quality) and we all had a great meal despite ordering different things. The sunny nook we sat in was beautiful. Thank you, Smitty’s! :)

Fast and affordable breakfast spot. No wait for seating on a Sunday morning. We had the early bird specials for $6.49 with the added breakfast poutine- cheese and hollandaise. Pretty decent amount of food for the price. The cup of tea was a little steep- $2.50. My only complaint would be having asked for water that never came.

Small blonde girl was insanely rude to any of our questions or when we asked for our order to be taken. Food was ice cold , a joke of s fettuccine and when I complained the waitress offered to microwave it. The chicken was good and the garlic bread too but the rest was worse than frozen store bought food.

We had a nice view of the marina, but on a small bar-like table and stools. I asked the servers if we could get a table when available but they did not. The food was just ok, the burger was less than great for sure. That being said, it’s affordable, it’s very popular, and it was full. It’s real nice to see the boats go while enjoying a glass of wine.

We stopped into Salt and Sol for lunch. We wanted seafood and a water view. They have both! You can eat inside or out on their deck, with a beautiful view of Charlottetown yacht club. The gluten free fish and chips was absolutely the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating! Sweet potato fries were my choice for a small extra fee. The portions were generous and the haddock was cooked perfectly. Crispy and well seasoned. My daughter enjoyed her fish chowder, with homemade garlic bread. Their prosecco sangria was refreshing and a nice change. The service was great too. What a Gem!!💎

First day in Charlottetown, PEI and we chose Salt & Sol for dinner — what a perfect choice! 😍 The fresh fish & homeland chips 🐟🍟 were spot on, with portions even generous enough for the kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. My wife had the vegan Sole Bowl 🥗🌱, and she loved it! The view is absolutely stunning — overlooking the pier and boats ⛵️⚓️, right above the yacht club, giving you that little VIP feel ✨🍷. On top of that, the value is excellent. 💯 Highly recommend if you want fresh food, a great view, and a relaxed island vibe 🌊🍴.

Best oysters we had in PEI. Was a little noisy since the yachts were coming back to dock and the horns were going off, but the food quality more than sufficed the environment. Clam chowder was also amazing.

Great atmosphere. We sat outside on deck enjoying the view. Service was wonderful. Had the loster roll which was good. The summer salad was amazing.

A wonderful dinner and experience at Salt &Sol. A breezy summer evening with rain threatening, we were fortunate to be looked after by Chantal. Everything we had was excellent and in our 7-day trip in PEI we had the best mussels! My daughter gives the lobster roll an 11/10 and we feel the same about the whole evening. To quote Chantal: “I love it here, it’s not really like work. More like family.” Honestly, you can feel it.

Amazing atmosphere and food! The staff is super friendly and the view on the deck is perfect! We had the Chowder and the Sol Burger with a Seed Salad. It was the best burger I have ever had! Only complaint is the Chowder did not come with roll or tea biscuit. To drink I had the Strawberry Garden Mocktail and it was deliciously refreshing.

Average at best. No complaints about the service but the food needs help. 1: Bacon wrapped scallops, can you source something better than food service precooked bacon? 2: Bubbly bake, at the end you’re left with a bowl of creamy cheesy with no way to enjoy it. Consider serving with a long sliced baguette wedge broiled with garlic butter. 3: Fish and chips, check your oil temperature, the fish retained way too much oil which is a sign your oil is too cold. Also looking at other reviews, looks like I got the smallest piece of fish in the building. 4: Side of gravy, I paid $2 for a one oz plastic solo cup of beef jello. No words… you have to actually TRY to do that poorly.. forget that it was from a mix and not house made, this was awful. There’s lots of potential, but there’s also a lot of laziness from the kitchen. A few tweaks would have made this a five star.

Good portions for reasonnable prices, the food is good and we had a very good time with kind service. All the employees were very nice. We went during happy hour (oysters for half the price) We got seafood pasta (sooo good!! Our favourite), cajun salmon (our least favourite but still good, maybe not worth the price), fish tacos (big portion) with baked pei potatoes on the side, bubbly bake (kinda small portion but it was perfect because everything else was big and we were sharing. Very good tho)

Am over from Nova Scotia and wanted to take my friends out for their 50th anniversary. They suggested here. Right from the hostess seating us to our server was really kind and joyful.drinks came quickly, although I found the coffee strong. Personal preference. I had chicken tenders and friends had wings and fish and chips. All were done perfectly. Fries really tasty. I can understand why they wanted to go here. Clean, spacious and not too noisy. Could be the best happy hour deal in PEI. Service was great. Waiter explained the oysters and some of the other local choices as well. Had recommendations. Prompt service. Flexibility with the menu for my daughter. A+

We recently hosted a Baby Shower at The Local and all I can say is WOW! The space upstairs is beautiful, we had about 25 of us very comfortably up there and a private bartender for the event. The food was amazing, and with people in our party who are celiac this is a perfect place with lots of TASTY gluten-free options. Their attention to detail with our restrictions went above and beyond my expectations. Kirsten was our bartender and my point of contact during the event and she was helpful, friendly, and going out of her way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Stephanie Hines was who I worked with for booking and leading up to the event, and she answered all of my questions promptly and I felt very at ease leading up to the event. I highly suggest hosting an event here - it's a hidden gem!

This hotel was immaculately clean and well maintained! Our room was in a seperate building from the main lobby, with two double beds, a pull out couch, and a kitchenette. It was very spacious, and perfect for our family of two adults and two teenagers. The hotel is older, which means the decor is dated, but it actually suits the area and the building well! Everything was so well maintained, and the beds were super comfy. A bonus for us was fully opening windows - no stuffy or damp feeling hotel air. Easy walking distance to downtown, but not in a super loud area. Breakfast was good quality, and ordered from a small menu rather than buffet. I appreciate the positive environmental impact of this choice. No unnecessary disposable cutlery and dishes, and less wasted food. Staff was very friendly, and we even received cookies on check in, as a “choice privileges” member. (Free points program) Thank you for a great stay!

Had spiders all over the bathroom in the morning, which I disposed of! Seemed to coming out around the sink. When I checked out the next morning of my hotel room at Quality Inn around 10 am I informed front desk but she did not seem surprised. Would advise checking the bathroom when you enter your room to avoid surprises at Quality Inn Charlottetown!

Our stay was wonderful. The room had comfortable beds and chairs. The bathroom was equipped with enouhg towels etc for my three member family. Breakfast choices were from among, I think, five menus including oatmeal with either bake or toast, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon... Parking was a bit not a problem.

We had an amazing time! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything downtown charletown. The rooms and building are older but super clean, and the customer service is exceptional. The only downside is the pool is 7 min drive which we didnt realize, but free access to the University of PEI pool was exceptional. Free breakfast, made to order was also exceptional! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice rooms, good housekeeping, friendly staff. The only thing which can be improved is the variety in breakfast. All other things were good.

The location is great. It’s a clean hotel and the customer service is excellent! I want to recognize Kaitlyn for her excellent customer service! She is friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend booking at Quality Inn.

My husband and I stayed in a King Suite for 3 nights - lovely accommodations. On the first evening, I stepped on a small shard of glass and was lucky enough to pull it out of my foot without issue. About an hour later, my husband stepped on another piece of glass but couldn’t see it. In the morning, I tried unsuccessfully to remove the glass with tweezers. I eventually called the front desk to request a sewing kit so I could use the needle to lift out the glass. The manager and asst manager delivered the sewing kit and bandages and showed appropriate concern. This is where it got weird and uncomfortable: they proceeded to tell us they personally inspect every suite prior to guests arriving and there was absolutely no glass in our room. They asked us if we broke anything. Nope. They then kept saying what a surprise this is and a concern for them to solve where this glass came from. Again and again, they told us that when they inspected the room, there was no glass on the floor so it couldn’t have been there. In spite of their accusatory tone, we were very amicable - stating that the previous guests likely broke something and a few pieces were missed - accidents happen. They explained to us again that it simply could not have happened because they inspected the room. Sigh. We weren’t looking for any special treatment or discounts. We were being very agreeable and letting them know we weren’t upset - but my husband has a piece of glass in his foot. We ended up going to emerg because he couldn’t walk. It was in there deep, but the doc got it. And if you think a piece of glass in the heel hurts, I’m told a needle for freezing is much worse ;) When we went to the front desk later that evening about a separate query, the asst manager thoughtfully asked how my husband made out with his foot. We quickly explained that we spent the afternoon in emerg, but kept it short because we weren’t up for another conversation of “blame the guests”. We lost a day of vacation due to this incident. Stuff happens. They were only interested in not admitting any fault and mitigating any liability. Their defensive attitude added more salt to the wound, so to speak. ADDENDED TO INCLUDE OUR RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE: Your response validates and confirms our experience. You had two guests who were amicable about the issue. We weren’t blameful, angry or accusatory. You have chosen to escalate things by denying any wrongdoing to people who weren’t looking to accuse you of such! This response now insinuates that it was our shoes that brought in the glass (from your parking lot?!) You just won’t let it go and say a simple “We are sorry!” without a “…but”. These defensive responses are what motivated us to write this review. And ironically, you STILL chose to double down and deflect.

This place is more of an art experience than fine dining. Lots of prints of Dali art on the walls to go with the theme, dim mood lighting, and high open ceilings that result in poor acoustics and echoing noise, especially when there are large groups or events happening. Pretty overpriced for what you get. About a dozen pieces of bread included with a large bowl of cheese dip, not nearly enough to clear the bowl. Their interpretation of a Thai curry noodle dish fell flat, pretty bland, not super flavorful and didn't really scream "Thai" compared to dishes from other restaurants in town. Sadly it went unfinished as well. Limited cider options available (just one local variety at the time) and their drinks menu is pretty pricey in general ($10 for a can of Strongbow, $9.75 for a bottle of local Upstreet beer...) - but there are plenty of small cocktails available if that's your jam. Unfortunately this place is likely a one-and-done visit for me.

Stopped in after the parade as my kid wanted to try somewhere new. She chose here. Sadly there is not a kids menu and they do not serve fries. But my kid is a trooper and she still wanted to eat here. So she made the best of it and got the hash brown type potatoes. She loved them. On my end. Local beers and good vegetarian options. Had breakfast here. Much better than you'd expect for the low cost hotel it's attached to. Great server, good food. Went back for dinner, but the singer was, well, awful, so we didn't stay. Dinner menu looked good, but we couldn't bring ourselves to stay due to the music.

Walked in late looking for a coffee- the place was empty as they had a concert in the back and they were so kind making us delicious coffee even though they closing and busy with the concert - will come back again!

Went to Trailside Music Hall this past weekend for the first time. The entertainment was awesome, we loved the venue. But no one in our group liked their meal from Salvador Dali Cafe. Everything was either way to spicy (even for one friend who likes spicy) or way too much BBQ sauce. The ribs might have been good, but we couldn’t even taste the meat as the BBQ sauce was way too overpowering. The food is also very expensive (which we knew before we went), but not good when you have to eat after you get home because you couldn’t eat your expensive meal at the restaurant 😞 I’m sure we will be back for shows in the future, but I don’t see anyone from our party ordering food again, unless it’s a different menu. Update: I’m changing my star rating. They have addressed the issues & plan to look at feedback for the fall menu. We will give them another try when the new menu comes out 😊

Leonhard’s has a really cute, warm, and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. The service was decent—friendly enough and attentive without being overbearing. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the charm of the space. The bacon was definitely the highlight—crispy and tasty. The eggs were cooked properly but lacked seasoning, and while the toast was fine, no jam was provided, which felt like a missed detail. The coffee was unfortunately weak and underwhelming. Overall, Leonhard’s is a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy the ambiance, but if you’re looking for a standout breakfast, it might leave you wanting more.

Came here during breakfast with a line to get in. Wasn’t worth the wait. The Fish Cakes were so dry and crumbly and didn’t pair well with the medium poached eggs that were also dry. As well, the salad came with the saddest drizzle of dressing…again too dry. My partner ordered Two Eggs with Jam and Buttered Toast. Never got the jam. Had to pay $6 extra for bacon! The waitress checked in on the couple beside us several times, but never our table. When she finally came around, she just assumed we were finished. Had to ask for the jam. By this time the toast was cold. Overall, this is a very chic dining space and the food is presented nicely, but the flavour and quality is lacking especially for the price. Service needs improvement regardless if they’re busy.

We were referred here by a friend and it was amazing. Very busy but the menu was worth the wait. I couldn't decide between the eggs Benedict and the French toast so they put a special plate together for me that was amazing. It was all a 10/10. The French toast with cinnamon and coriander, and the steak and eggs Benedict. There is a takeout option there as well if you want to just grab a coffee and pastry. For dessert I had the 7 nut pie and that was awesome as well but overall I would easily recommend here and go back again if in Charlottetown, PEI.

The food here is amazing & plated very well. The staff was quite friendly & the restaurant is very clean! Coffee was perfect! We did have a short wait on a Friday morning (10am ish). My only complaint is that staff gave no indication of wait times while we were standing. There is metered parking out front on the street which can be a little tricky if its busy in town.

Five years ago we visited PEI and we have been thinking about their soup ever since. Unfortunately on this visit it was sold out and a few other things on the menu were too but that’s a good sign at a restaurant that they are using fresh ingredients. We arrived around 1pm waited about 5-10 min for a table for 4. Food came quick and was top quality. Prices are reasonable given the type of food and atmosphere it is like a European Cafe. I wish there were more places like this in the Maritimes. I got the steak on sourdough, delicious.

A cute and cozy spot. They perfected a sweet & salty French toast. The staff were awesome & food was phenomenal. Our new go to breakfast spot on the Island.

The staff there is very nice. However, there is a clear lack of communication amongst the staff. I ended up waiting 17 minutes after ordering for one sandwich and a drink. Which the sandwich was then taken away from the person who was cooking it and then brought over to the drive-thru right before the person was about to hand me this sandwich leaving with only my drink.

This Tim Hortons location is always busy, and today was no different. You could see the entire team working hard and clearly putting in a lot of effort, even though they looked exhausted. Despite the rush, I received my drink and food correctly and promptly. Well done, team! I truly appreciate your hard work—hope others do too!

I want to gave them one star because I had to wait 15 minutes this morning for food and drinks, which was very frustrating. The only one helping was Siena, and she did her best to get us served. The staff were friendly but I'm pretty sure they mash the button to clear all their orders at once instead of when the order is complete so their time looks better corporately but your order may be forgotten.

Had lunch with a friend today. Food was terrible. My mozza burger was cold, the cheese not melted, tomato was not ripe so it was hard. The onion rings were greasy and soggy. Person at the counter was very nice though. Will not go back, especially since it was so expensive for very sub-par food.

I always visit this location of A&W to have my crispy veggie burger. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. At counter hanya would always welcome with big smile and excitement to take my order to serve hot to table. Worst night staff at 9:50 . experienced the worst customer service tonight . I came at 9:50 and asked for a veggie burger and hania or whatever her name is said that sorry we will close at 10:15 for dine in which is fine but then we asked for a mug and then she was like sorry no mugs as we have too many dishes to wash . Like was this lady serious. It is not my headache that you have dishes to wash. The whole we came was for mugs and if she could have said that we don’t have it would be understood but she was like if I give you mugs then I will be late to leave from my shift . Stopped by the A&W drive-thru in PEI and had a great experience. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you’d hope for—everything tasted great. The service was excellent too. I was helped by Hania at the drive-thru, and everything was handled smoothly and with a smile. You can tell the place is well managed and the staff really care. Definitely coming back.

Made a door dash order today from Tims in Sherwood...it arrived and it was a total different order...I called and they couldn't do anything about it...this happens way to often and they ALWAYS mess up my orders. I want my money back...as I'll never order or step foot in your doors again. I shouldnt have even went back after the last time my order was messed up. So if someone could contact me to fix this mess it would be greatly appreciated....here's my order and what they sent me.

Usually dependable food quality but not today...20 minute wait at the drive through, burnt bread, over done and under filled potato wedges. Was home before I realized the food was sub par. There is no way this could not have been noticed by the staff. Serve it anyway and hope they don't come back.

The Tim Hortons on St. Peters road is always fast. Always fresh. Always efficient. I’ve been to a lot of locations here in Charlottetown, but this one is living up to the Tim’s franchisees name!

I ordered 10 pack of timbits just honey dip but they gave me mixed and i got only 3 honey dip!! Such a bad service !!

Food was terrible. I mean I get that it's McDonald's and not a Michelin star restaurant, but this was so bad. They didn't have enough breaded chicken for two orders, so my partner got the grilled chicken. But the grilled chicken was then VERY burnt, along with the bottom bun of the McCrispy. Not only this but the fries were also quite stale/cold. Very poor experience.

This location has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Consistently slow service. The coffee is stale, the drive through takes forever. I place my order at the menu board, have to reconfirm it before I pay at the first window, and then they still try to give me someone else’s order at the second window. It’s getting really frustrating. And then I drive off to find out they didn’t put the right ingredients in the coffee or it’s stale and cold. When I get the right food, it’s great, but that almost never happens these days.

Every single time I go there’s an issue.(hair in food, wrong order, forgot toy in happy meal) Today’s issue! I clarified at the window that it was Coke zero that I wanted and they said they didn’t have any so I said I want Diet Coke. I asked for something that was listed on the menu and the guy on the speaker gave one word answers and was incredibly rude. I stayed polite and ended up saying thanks I’ll go somewhere else. The guy with his incredible level of intelligence decided it would be smart to stick their tongue out at me when I drove by. Who hires these people? This person should be out of a job. Worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. Drove to the one in Charlottetown and dealt with people who actually knew what they were doing.

The fountain drinks always taste funny at this location for some reason, happened many times over the years.

Good classic breakfast. The French toast was perfectly cooked and eggy (I'm not a fan of maple syrup on my French toast so I was glad to see it came on the side and not slathered all over). I added sausage to my French toast, but it would've been filling enough without them. The toast they serve with the standard breakfasts are beautiful big slices of fresh bread, and we were given quite the array of jams for the table (not pictured). Eggs were cooked well, coffees were refilled, very friendly helpful service, would definitely recommend for a simple and well done breakfast!

Absolutely amazing little place! Went for breakfast a couple times and it was a better experience than any of the other diners in town. Extremely reasonable prices for a good amount of food and great service. Not busy at all, still a friendly and lively atmosphere. Run by a very nice young couple. They remembered us and brought a special mug for grandma this time! Breakfast was great, the breakfast sausages and bacon were perfect, though I'll ask for the hashbrowns well done next time.

Delicious food and the sweetest owners! It made our whole trip out to this beautiful city, to be welcomed and served by this cafe. We decided to make our final stop before leaving PEI one more meal at the cafe. So friendly, affordable, and inviting. Great portions too, if you’re hungry.

The parking lot was small, and we nearly got hit by 2 different cars, definitely not a good one to drive to. Drive through seemed a bit chaotic too. The location of thie McDonalds is good though.

I’m disappointed with how my son was treated when he tried to exchange a toy. He simply wanted a exchange Pokémon toy with different toy , which we have done in past and one Indian staff member (who we believe lied to him) said they couldn’t do it at tge minecraft was the last one . Thankfully, another employee( White) —who was respectful and honest—helped us without any issue. I appreciate that person’s professionalism, but this experience shows how important it is for all staff to treat customers, especially children, fairly and truthfully. I had to mention race because who lies to a child like that.

I ordered an egg sausage Macmuffin this noon. I was halfway through my meal when I spotted a piece of plastic bag or film in there. Totally gross. This isn’t the first time I’ve found stuff in my food that shouldn’t be there at this McDonald’s. I’m really wondering how McDonald’s quality keeps getting worse. Honestly, I just hope everyone keeps an eye on their food so they don’t end up eating something nasty.

They got my food wrong. My order was Teriyaki chicken sandwich and what I received is hash brown beef bacon burger.

Really a hit and miss. Pretty busy and angry workers. Food is good but fries can be salty and nuggets can be soggy. Smoothies and drinks are pretty good tho. Definitely recommend the smoothies but in all this McDonald’s isn’t the cleanest but it’s good for a quick stop in.

Terrible customer service. I placed an online order for convenience, but when I got to the drive-thru, the employee rudely told me I had to come inside to pick it up. When I questioned it, she argued with me instead of trying to help. Her name was Rupinder Kaur she was extremely rude she needs to learn how to do customer service If online orders can’t be picked up at the drive-thru, that should be clearly stated beforehand. The whole experience was frustrating and completely unnecessary. I won’t be coming back.

Awful wait time, food took nearly half an hour and the workers forgot every drink from the order. I witnessed another customer wait for their food longer than me, finally get it, then get chased down in the parking lot by one of the workers as they accidentally gave that customer the wrong order (they had to wait even longer for the right food)... Took around 5 minutes for someone to even take my order at the register. Fries were hot at least.

I am giving them a five star because my orders whether it was delivery, dine in or grab and go or order and pickup have been what I pay for However the two most recent orders that I paid for through delivery I did not get what I paid for The bill was pricey and what was sent were items that costed less then what I paid for The supervisor offered to write a note saying “she’s paying for everything but she’s not getting what she’s paying for” And a credit on a gift card for the difference of the cost for one of the orders not the two It’s about a $9. Dollar difference probably for both times however it’s the meaning and principle of the situation more so then the money Also that $9. Dollar difference is the cost of a drink or meal

Very busy location. Staff is great at moving the line, but seems all the customers are taking up seating to work so there was no seats available. Each table for 4 had 1 or two people spread out their laptops and working. Plan to take your coffee to go.

Can't deny it any longer: their coffee and food are MUCH better than Tim Horton's. (Albeit pricey.) A frappe and sandwich from Starbucks may cost more, but you are certainly going to enjoy it more. The flavour is consistent, the drinks (frappe in this case) aren't filled with icy slush that doesn't have taste. The sandwiches have ingredients that actually fill the bread/bagel, the proportions actually mean you get a good bite every time. While I'd never be able to afford to eat here regularly, Starbucks is far from the worst choice. (Shame they're American owned...)

They TOTALLY messed up my order and gave me the complete opposite of what I asked for and when I was in line a worker that was off went in front of me and the giant line behind me. If you're looking for an all-day breakfast spot, go to Cafe Thomas Martin. The breakfast club sandwich with bacon was so delicious that I ate almost all of it before I remembered to take a picture! The multigrain bread, which I learned from the owner, Sushil, is made by hand and was toasted just right with a wonderful crunch, texture, and taste. The eggs were perfectly fluffy, and the dijonnaise sauce combined with the crispy bacon really had me gobbling everything up. Honestly, as I'm writing this, I'm craving another. I had a lovely chat with Sushil, who sources the majority of his ingredients either locally or from within Canada, and works hard to support his wife and newborn daughter. Honestly, I just stopped in for a quick bite before an appointment, but I think I found a real hidden gem. You can't beat care, kindness, and experience. And hey, they have a lot of good indian cusine and they cater! What's not to love?

I often come here for coffee as I'm often in the Confederation Court Mall and always I'm greeted by a cheerful smile and excellent customer service. Very welcoming atmosphere, great food and eats. I had the Avocado Cilantro Cholipesto sandwich, a delicious and healthy offer from this restaurant :) I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you for doing what you do.

Neeti and Sushil were amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. They were able to customize my order to be gluten-free and vegetarian. The fruits and vegetables were also very fresh. The atmosphere was also very lively.

The service here is absolutely horrible. Every single time I order from this store they get my order wrong. I’ve asked every time for them to get my order right and still they get it wrong. Why would someone want to order from a place that? Some people ask for specific ingredients to be omitted because of severe allergies, I think the staff should be more aware of that.

While on a road trip to Prince Edward Island, I stopped at this Tim Hortons — and I have to say, it was hands down the best Tim Hortons experience I’ve had anywhere in Canada. I want to specifically mention Myla, who was working that day. Her attitude, professionalism, and warm customer service absolutely blew me away. She greeted everyone with a smile, handled orders efficiently, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. You can genuinely feel that she cares about her work and the people she’s serving. I’ve visited Tim Hortons locations all over Ontario, Quebec, and other provinces, but none have matched the outstanding service I received here. I'm more confused than anything. Ordered a ham and cheddar sandwich but somehow the guy thought I asked for a double double coffee. Happened a while back and it never left my mind cuz honestly how did they hear double double it doesn't make sense.

This location has the options to dine in or take out. When you dine in there’s a lot of seating to sit in for such a cozy little spot. But it would be very hard to bring a wheele car into this cafe. The food was really good and the drinks were lukewarm when we got them because the staff were chatting so much they had gone cold by the time we were serviced them.

We had a good experience at this location! The server we had was lovely and even after a little order mix up she was still pleasant and accommodating. We found the inside a tad loud, but the outside patio was quiet and lovely. One note is that the tap water tasted awful, but that might just be the water on the Milky Way. Overall the food was delicious and there were lots of plantbased options. Will be back for sure!

Probably my favourite Receiver location! The staff are super nice, very accommodating and the ham & swiss croissant (with added pickled onions, of course) is my favourite thing on the menu! Make sure you stop by!

Wasn’t very impressed. It was very busy, so it’s understandable that the servers might have been a little more curt than usual, but service was still lacking overall. The cappuccino was good, but at over $5.00 CAD, I was expecting more than “good.” Moreover, the clientele who were there weren’t very friendly (and highly spatially impaired), which also deterred from the experience.

The best coffee in PEI. We have had an opportunity to visit this location as well as their location at Confederation Landing. We've been blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff, and even more impressed by the coffee and tea. Spoke with one of the staff members, indicated that their main roast at the time was from the Honduras. We keep coming back because it is delicious. They also have a variety of freshly baked breads, including sourdough, you can take home. Daily food specials and desserts, and love that there's an option for a sangria or mimosa. Great stop and will keep coming back.

This Tim's is just going so down hill... Ordered a bagel with cream cheese, I got one with butter (no big deal, I ate it) what blew my mind was this donut. It was so wet and unedible.. I don't know how any staff could service that to someone. That staff at this location doesn't care what goes out anymore.

This Tim Hortons location is an absolute disgrace to the brand. The service was beyond awful. The guy at the counter acted like I personally ruined his day just by walking in. I visited the store at 10:30 pm today .No greeting, no smile, not even basic human decency—just a miserable face and a rude attitude like he couldn't be bothered to do his job. I wasn’t expecting five-star treatment, but I also wasn’t expecting to feel like I was inconveniencing him by ordering a coffee. He slammed things around, mumbled under his breath, and gave the most unwelcoming vibe I’ve ever experienced in a place that’s supposed to be “Canada’s coffee shop.”

really poor customer service I ordered cappuccino, but they gave me the regular coffee and when I went again drive-through to correct my order and the lady was very rude and she smashed the window and when we knocked the window one guy came after two minutes and when we ask him, the name of the person served us before and he refused to give the name and they had no name badges on their Shirts. They only have one poor guy working the counter on a busy morning, With 4 to 5 staff working drive-through. When they asked A staff to go help him on counter she Had a sour attitude and helps him for two minutes before Returning back to drive-through Leaving this poor guy with five or six people waiting for their orders. Friendly staff, quick service, and a decent amount of seating. Not too many people dining in, so space to sit down and enjoy your purchase. Overall it is the same Time products you'll find anywhere else. We went to try the new specialty donuts- a lot of them have a nostalgic betty-crocker type icing now. I liked the layout of this location, and it is easy to access from both streets it sits on the corner of.

This Tim's is clean, well-staffed, quick, and friendly, with fresh food. The perfect start to our days while vacationing. Thank you for making our stay on the Island that much better.

I am giving them a 5 star rating because usually as a regular my orders are what I pay for however today I paid for bacon and didn’t get it which was upsetting because that’s what was paid for What I do depends on the day and the environment of the type of crowd the place gets, but usually we get delivery, dine in or grab and go

It was nice to go to, as an American this was my first time. The prices are amazing! For 2 coffees, a hot chocolate, 10 pack timbits, a bagel only costed $17.60! The timbits is so soft and sweet. The hot chocolate is manageably hot and tasty. The bagel was buttery and the coffee was sweet!

Had a great time at Tim Hortons — friendly staff, quick service, and delicious coffee and food. Everything was fresh and just right. I’ll definitely be back!

Always prefer going here than many other tims, good food, friendly people.

This morning I got an ice cold pastry and a London Fog with only one tea bag. If I ordered a London Fog with only one Earl Grey tea bag, why didn't I just order an Earl Grey?

This restaurant is my fave Tim’s, the service is friendly and fast, the restrooms and dining rooms are maintained (extremely clean), products are always fresh, and always make my coffee perfectly.

We used to like this location cause they are always prompt and has a great service. For the past two Sundays, this has never been the case. Today, Oct 20, 2024 was the worst. Initially we ordered 2 Steak and Egg Breakfast sandwich combo and take note I always order this so I know how much it would cost us. Like I argued that they rang it wrong, (ringing, egg breakfast sandwich + roast beef [$3 more per combo]) to cut the story short; they should have mentioned that they are no longer offering steak and egg breakfast sandwich. We changed our order to farmers sausage wrap combo and coming to window they said they dont have hash brown. So I asked how many minutes for the hash and they said its two minutes. So we waited, the order came in and voila, they put potato wedges in our farmers sausage wrap.

Regular stop in the morning. Busy location but the service is fast. I didn't have any issues the whole week I was in PEI. Will be back to this location. Keep up the great work!

I asked for a crispy chicken bacon ranch rap and got a buffalo chicken wrap. Made poorly as well. Fell apart when I opened it

Today, i ordered Crispy chicken bowl via Drive through, the quality was not good i say it was absolutely worst. As you can see the attached images, lettuce was at its worst and the quantity was not correct and you may see the other veggies very barely. Thanks to ITS management.

Crowded, no lines to direct people. Went Saturday August 28. Orders a breakfast sandwich triple toasted (because they are forced to rush by the management and don't actually toast anything), two coffees and donut. Took almost 20 minutes. The staff were putting peoples orders on the PICKUP thing without calling them out. I picked up a sandwich I assumed was mine because the 1 guy ahead of me didn't. I touched it looking to make sure it was toasted enough. The. The staff said that wasn't mine, I told them I touched it, and they should make a new one. They didn't. They left it on the pickup area. The Boston cream donut was put chocolate side down in the bag, so when we took it out all the chocolate was stuck to the bag. The girl at front counter said the total 12.33, I handed her 15$. She didn't take it. I thought I heard the total wrong and needed more $$. I asked the total again, heard 12.33. asked again, to clarify, again heard 12.33. Asked again as I still had the $15 for her to take, in my hand. She turned the screen around and it said 12.33. I had to wave the cash in front of her to take it. Was the worst and weirdest time I've ever had a Tim Hortons. Also the entire restaurant was a mess and by the time we got our stuff the lobby had filled with annoyed people.

This Starbucks has been the most consistent in well made drinks and all the staff are lovely every single day. I've been here studying a lot recently and I am honestly super impressed. Staff seem to enjoy their job too which is always wonderful to see and they are always working hard & really keep the place clean. They are always cleaning and keeping this place in top notch shape

Having been to Starbucks across Canada and internationally, I can say with confidence that this store is top tier. What makes it exceptional? The morning staff. They are kind, efficient, and remarkably inclusive. One of the things I admire most is how the team expresses professionalism through individual style. The staff are polished and professional, without ever looking like they’re wearing a uniform in the traditional, rigid sense. Their approach adds character and energy to the space—it’s part of the reason the environment feels elevated, not generic. They’ve also shown an attentiveness that goes above and beyond. For example, they noticed that my brachycephalic dogs struggle with the standard shot-size pup cups and now kindly offer a wider bowl option that keeps them safe and happy. It’s thoughtful, it’s small—but it matters. This team has created something truly special. Their kindness, attention to detail, and individuality are what make this location shine. It’s clear that they care—not just about coffee, but about people. And that makes all the difference.

Location is clean and convenient. That's it for the positives. The girls today making drinks clearly are not properly trained baristas. Iced means with ice, no ice means no ice, hot means without ice and the temperature is higher. It's not hard. Matcha isn't a leaved green tea. No sweetener means no sugar (liquid or granulated). 3 fails on 3 tries. The attitude on these "ladies" working today was one for the books. If you can't get it right the first time, don't be upset when you're asked to try again. Absolutely rude to both myself and my two children. Whoever manages this place needs to lay down the law with their staff. Been to many, many of these franchises accross the globe and this is one of the worst. By far the worst staff.

I usually have zero problems with this location. I order the same drink - nothing fancy just a venti blonde iced caramel latte, and receive it with no issue. Today, I was told they've never had that drink and was passed an entirely black coffee. I've ordered the same thing for the last two years on the app and in store and have never once had this issue.
