Breakfast restaurant
The Original Pancake House is a casual dining spot that has been serving up American breakfast classics for over 60 years. Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953, this family-owned establishment is renowned for its signature pancakes and other delectable dishes. The menu features an array of pancake options, including the popular Blueberry Pancakes and Three Little Pigs in Blankets.
Excellent breakfast place. Food is delicious, atmosphere is kind of quiet and like home. No rushing around of staff asking you to hurry. Plenty of room and seating. Food was delicious, correct, and felt very temp hot for those hot items. My coffee cup, as well as water, was never empty. I’ll be back again for sure. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. I tipped them well above the recommended amount.

Great breakfast place.I had a nice experience at this pancake restaurant! The menu offers an impressive variety of options, catering to every taste and craving. Whether you prefer classic fluffy buttermilk pancakes, 49er pancakes, chocolate-chip stacks, or something more adventurous like bacon pancakes or Dutch baby pancake, this place has it all. Each pancake was perfectly cooked—light, airy, and bursting with flavor. The extensive selection and fresh ingredients make every bite a delight. The fresh strawberries and homemade whip cream were amazing. The friendly staff added to the welcoming vibe, making it a perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or just a sweet treat.
Kat G — Google review
Great old fashioned honest place with good fresh food and enthusiastic staff. Standard menu , as expected, but made fresh and to order. Strawberries were, for instance, as good as you can get them at the farmers market. The size of the pancakes is usually bigger than one can handle, and consequently, you're bringing some for an afternoon snack, and no, I'm not complaining at all. Service is extremely fast, courteous, and truly friendly. No specific recommendations as everything looks yummy indeed. Njoy if you're in the neighborhood.
Bojan V — Google review
Went for my birthday and I showed up like 20 minutes before closing time. I fully expected them to turn me away but to my surprise they welcomed me in warmly. I proceeded to spend almost $100 worth of pancakes because they are just that good. What a place! I'll be coming here till I'm bed-ridden. But then maybe I'll just order delivery!

Waiter was Johnny on the spot. He also had good hearing, even when walking away from the table and my husband said he will ask him for something. The guy pivots to the storage and brings it right back. My husband said he really enjoyed the omelet. I really liked they bring you a basket with assorted tea and a kettle with hit water when you order tea.
L C — Google review
I was so disappointed. The food looked great, but there was so much salt in the potato pancakes and the corned beef hash. Also, I ordered the bacon pancakes, which were supposed to have bacon inside the pancakes. All they did was put bacon on top of them.
Scott E — Google review
The service is outstanding. The food especially the western omelet is really good. Their pancakes are the best moist, fluffy and delicious. It gets very crowded after 9:00 AM but they do a great job getting the food out fast.
Norm S — Google review
The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach is one of our absolute favorite breakfast and brunch spots. This place is pure heaven, especially for my 7-year-old son, whose love for pancakes knows no bounds – he'd probably eat them for every meal if he could! Thankfully, their children's menu wisely includes a half order of his beloved chocolate chip pancakes, which makes him one happy camper. And speaking of pancakes, the name doesn't lie – their selection is incredible! I've counted about 20 different kinds, which means there's always something new and delicious to try. While my son is a predictable fan of anything chocolate, I love upgrading my usual order to one of their signature pancakes. My personal favorites are the coconut pancakes, the vibrant fresh strawberry pancakes, and for a savory twist, the bacon pancakes. Beyond the glorious pancakes, their omelets are equally fantastic. You really can't go wrong with either the classic ham or bacon omelet. If you're leaning a bit healthier, their fresh vegetarian or mushroom omelets are also delicious and satisfying choices. My wife, for her part, has been completely hooked on their homemade corned beef hash during our last couple of visits. It's a rich blend of corned beef, potatoes, onions, and heavy cream, perfectly topped with two eggs cooked any style. And the best part? It comes with four of their famous potato pancakes, served with a choice of applesauce or sour cream. It's truly a hearty and flavorful dish. Just FYI, she never finishes it and usually eats about half and saves the other half for another meal. One of my favorite things about The Original Pancake House is their attentive staff. They seem to make it their mission to top off your water or coffee before you even have to think about it. I absolutely love places that do that – no awkward waving down a server just to get a refill! Now, if you're feeling adventurous or just want something extra special, you absolutely must try their Dutch Baby. This oven-baked pancake is served with whipped butter, a squeeze of lemon, and a dusting of powdered sugar. It's big enough to share, light, airy, and utterly delicious. Seriously, try it at least once – you won't regret it! The food is consistently fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and it's simply a joy to start our day here. This place is a solid 5 out of 5 stars for us!

Cafe
Gift shop
Gum Tree Shop & Café is a charming Australian cafe located in a century-old bungalow in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles. Run by the husband and wife team of Will and Lori Ford, the café offers a menu featuring Aussie flavors such as meat pies, brekkie sandwiches, and Mom's potato salad. The café also serves lighter fare like granola, oatmeal, avocado toast, salads, sandwiches, and a kids menu.
Sweet little shop with super cute housewares and kitchen items as well as things for kids. The cafe is right next door and has quite a variety especially for how small it is. The service is very friendly, very fast and the food we tried was delicious! The Aussie beef pie was so good we drove across town to get it again the next day!
Angela H — Google review
Such a charming spot in Hermosa Beach! I stopped in to browse and was blown away by the beautifully curated selection of gifts, home decor, and accessories. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen, with a coastal, laid-back vibe that perfectly matches the area. The shop is bright, inviting, and a great place to find unique treasures. I didn’t try the café, but the space looked just as welcoming. A must-visit if you’re in the neighborhood!
Ashlie M — Google review
Beautiful place. Very clean. Coffee was very good and so was the Avocado toast. After trying to find a decent coffee that serves a mug and not a carton cup for rwo days finally landed here. Highly recommended.
Jonatao M — Google review
Let's start with the good. Service was great. The girl at the counter was friendly, answered all my questions, and the food and drink came out quick. The cafe had a cute atmosphere as well. Now the bad. My matcha latte was incredibly watery and flavorless. The quinoa salad with chicken tasted so bland. There was barely any dressing, and the chicken was SO dry. I paid $30 for this and felt so scammed. They had internet for customers, limited to 1 hour, but it was unusably slow. In-flight wifi is faster than their internet. Definitely would not come back.
Randall L — Google review
Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.
Swoon F — Google review
Very good place for breakfast or brunch! The sandwiches were very unique and among the better ones we had in the area. All of our orders also came with a side of fruits, which left us feeling very healthy :-). When we were finished we cleaned our own table - not sure if that’s expected or not as we did it out of courtesy.
Monkey W — Google review
A really outstanding pairing of home/gift/design shop with a small-but-mighty café and coffee shop. It’s enough to make me want to move to Hermosa Beach and live close enough to Gum Tree that it could be my go to coffee shop and the place I buy all my gifts for friends, loved ones [and myself let’s be real]. If I had something like this on the Hollywood side of town, I’d spend most of my income at it!! In terms of the café: I had the iced lavender latte and it was divine. Too much and those can taste more like soap than like a delicious coffee. Theirs is phenomenal. In terms of the shop: from the kids section to the cooking section to the jewelry and the clothes - this is one of the better curated boutiques anywhere in greater LA or the South Bay. And I thought the prices were largely really reasonable. Some pricier things, as is fair, and lots of options to hit other price points too.
Kirsten P — Google review
Coffee is really good. Recently renovated nice and quite chill spot. Patio outside is very comfy as well.

Phanny's is a beloved South Bay spot that has been serving up California-inspired dishes, including their famous breakfast burritos, since 1982. While the cozy dining room is currently closed due to COVID-19, customers can still place orders at the walk-up window and pick them up in the rear parking lot. The breakfast burritos are a popular choice, and patrons can also enjoy excellent Stumptown Roasters coffee while waiting for their food.
One of the best burrito places in the South Bay/Redondo Beach area. Hopped off the plane and first stop had to go to Phannys🤙 Had this place bookmarked ever since I seen the late Chester Bennington with one of these Burritos on ig. Parking is located in back of the restaurant or on the street. Take out only, my first time here so I ordered the Chorizo Burrito. Took it to my friends place where I was staying and the burrito was mayjah🤙Didnt fall apart, filling great and was a great way to start my Cali vacay. 5 stars👍
P R — Google review
Solid breakfast burrito and fast service. Big fan of the tortillas and there were solid options to choose from. I went with pastrami, and it was piping hot but tasty.
Victor B — Google review
Ordered the carne asada burrito with veggies and avocado added and extra sauce on the side. The burrito was a little pricey (20), but overall, I was really happy with the experience and liked how I could take the burrito on a 5 minute walk and be able to eat it at the beach. Note - There's no seating, so everything is to-go, but given the location, that's not too bad.
Vanessa — Google review
I've been coming for many years for the burritos. Especially the burritos. They always make them very fresh and they are delicious. And the portion sizes are large enough to keep you filled until your next meal. There is usually a wait as well, which goes to show you how popular the establishment is. The staff is very friendly. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. I tell all my friends about this place. And I will be coming back for many years to come.
OnCallCravings — Google review
Phannys is a take out only breakfast burrito connoisseur, cooking the basics like bacon egg and cheese, but also a pastrami version. In terms of taste, it’s pretty decent and good size (avg $13/burrito), but I’ve noticed the last 2 times I’ve asked for one of my burritos to be without cheese (friends lactose intolerant) and they forgot to remove it both times. Not sure what’s happening when they take my order and I specify “no cheese” for one of the burritos , but my friend has t been able to eat them. Overall, solid spot to grab a burrito and chill on the beach.
Garrett C — Google review
Breakfast burritos. Not much to say about a restaurant that is just pretty much burritos. The day I went they were out of ripe avocados. Got a chorizo one and it was $13.75. The burrito was good.
Greg M — Google review
Got the carne asada and added avocado. Thought it was a solid breakfast burrito. Not super messy which was nice. Not indoor seating on weekend. Order at the window in the front and wait for your name to be called in the back. Took a total of 10 minutes from ordering to sitting in my car and eating it. It was a rainy Saturday morning so I’m sure that helped with the line being short. Would eat again!
Kristen N — Google review
I got a breakfast burrito here with chorizo and it was okay I would probably go back and get the other stuff and try it out I got a orange juice and the girl at the counter was nice and friendly parking is a bit confusing but I think it’s located in the back I just parked on the side street and it worked out fine. I have always driven past this restaurant but never really had the time to stop and get something here. I would recommend coming here for breakfast they close early.

Krust Bakery & Cafe is a family-owned bakery that takes pride in offering high-quality meals and pastries. They are known for their commitment to using fresh ingredients, such as hand-peeled onions and caramelized eggs in their quiches. The bakery boasts an impressive selection of pastries, with the banana bread loaf and mini pies being customer favorites. Their honey cinnamon latte comes highly recommended, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
I like this place. You might just pass by there and miss it. It is located at the corner of a little plaza. I ordered matcha latte and yogurt almond cake. Matcha latte is normal. But the cake…The cake is so so moist and has a little yuzu flavor to it. I will definitely try other pastries later.

Unbelievable bakery treats, among other, wonderful delectable items! Everything is exceptional, and service, beyond compare. You feel very welcomed here. I would highly recommend the custard doughnut. Have it for there, and get it warmed. People coming in and out all the time we were there. You will not be disappointed.

I visited Krust Bakery Cafe with friends from my Meetup group after an earthing walk at Redondo Beach. The cafe is cozy and cute, perfect for relaxing after a walk by the ocean. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, including their signature Avocado Toast, the Galbi Sandwich, and a few other kinds. Everything was so delicious and full of flavor! The latte was also fresh and satisfying. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to make earthing a monthly activity and chose Crust Cafe as our go-to spot. Highly recommend!

This place is delicious! Cute little outdoor table to sit out tucked away from the house of the street. I got the coffee cake and it wasn’t overly sweet, just perfect! Woman owner to boot 😍❤️
Rae S — Google review
I was keeping my eye on this bakery because of the high google rating and finally visited this morning. Located at the inside corner of L-shaped strip mall it is hard to see from the street. Inside there is a good space with tables. I bought a few items per the owner‘s recommendation and I think I will definitely go back for brunches some time very soon. It seems a such a gem bakery in town.
M C — Google review
Stopped in because The Little French Bakery was closed and I promised someone a croissant. This came up as close with positive reviews. It did not disappoint. We ordered an almond croissant and their strawberry cream croissant. The flakiness of the almond croissant exceeded my experience at my favorite croissant place and the flavor was perfect. The strawberry cream was delicious. This gem is tucked into an inconspicuous Plaza, but I hope it gets the attention it deserves. There was ample seating and the service was pleasant.
L B — Google review
As a huge pastry lover, I’m always searching for a high quality bakery! I’m happy to say that Krust exceeded my expectations. They have an amazing selection of pastries (especially first thing in the morning) so it’s very challenging to make a decision 😄 Luckily, you can’t go wrong! My favorite is the adorable banana bread loaf - it’s delicious! They also have the best mini pies. For drinks, I recommend trying their honey cinnamon latte ☕️ Super friendly staff as well!
Sophie C — Google review
I stopped by the bakery cafe on a Sunday. The store is neat and service was very friendly. There was a decent selection of baked goods, and a sandwich menu. There are seatings both inside and a a couple of tables outside in the shade. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich was nicely warmed up with melt cheese and soft egg. The croissant, however, was disappointing. It has an unconventional curvy shape and lacks layers and flakes.

Tommy & Atticus has quickly become a popular spot, drawing long lines of eager customers. The bakery offers a variety of sourdough breads, croissants, and pastries that tend to sell out fast. Customers recommend arriving early to ensure they get their hands on the delicious baked goods before they're gone. The citrus breakfast roll is particularly praised for its unique combination of flavors. In addition to the tempting baked goods, the bakery also serves sandwiches and pizza for lunch.
Tommy and Atticus in Redondo Beach is a delightful find for bakery lovers! Run by a husband-and-wife team, the bakery features Garret as the talented head baker and Lauren, who warmly manages the ordering counter. Their offerings are top-notch, with a reputation for sourdough breads and bagels made fresh daily. The real stars for me, however, are their croissants—flaky, buttery, and perfectly executed. I especially loved their caramelized croissant, which has an irresistible balance of sweetness and texture. Their sourdough bread is also exceptional, rivaling the quality of Tartine Bakery. We tried half of the smoked salmon bagel, and it was a fantastic breakfast option—fresh and satisfying. The latte was another highlight, with a fantastic espresso flavor that rounded out the meal beautifully. The shop itself is spacious and welcoming, though it does get quite busy during the morning rush. Luckily, parking in the strip mall is a breeze. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their baked goods, particularly the sourdough bread and croissant bread. Highly recommend this bakery if you’re in the area!

I really like Tommy and Atticus. It’s got a calm, cozy vibe, and it feels like a nice place to take a break and treat yourself. The sugary roll is probably my favorite thing there. It’s soft, sweet, and just really satisfying. I also really enjoy their matcha. It’s smooth and not too bitter, which I appreciate. Not everything on the menu is amazing, but overall I’ve had a good experience. You can tell they put effort into what they make, and it feels like a place that’s still growing in a good way. I’d definitely go back, especially when I want something a little different but still comforting.

Amazing first visit! The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried the garlic rosemary sourdough, almond chocolate croissant, and a scone—everything was fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back!
Azaria — Google review
The Baseline: For a bakery the bread has to be crusty, doughrific goodness, great accompaniments per the bakery’s theme, and good coffee/drinks. Food: The bread is gooooooood! The sourdough is well made with the nice crustiness and yeasty air pockets. We had a a BLT sandwich, bacon cheese scone, and a potato tart. All items were delicious and had fresh ingredients. The coffee was exceptional and had a good roast. Service: Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They cut my sandwiches, modified my coffee, and gave great suggestions. Ambiance: The bakery has a nice communal table and individual table seating. The bathrooms were clean and parking was easy. There is also outdoor seating available for nice weather days.
Noahark W — Google review
I recently visited Tommy and Atticus and I had the opportunity to try their bacon and cheddar scone, pain au chocolat, and the jalapeno and cheddar sourdough loaf. To me, I find their bacon and cheddar scone highly underwhelming. It was neither savory nor cheesy enough to be considered a savory pastry. You can see in the image there was barely any bacon pieces inside the scone. The pain au chocolat is delicious and above average, but it could be crispier and more buttery. On the bright side, the cheddar and jalapeno sourdough is outstanding. I find the flavors to be well-incorporated throughout the loaf. I will go back for the sourdough.
Teang L — Google review
First time visiting and will be back. A short line to the door by it moves super fast. We got bagels (the Works), two pastries and a loaf of sourdough. We ate in, the bagels were delicious and very filling. Had our pastries later in the day and so delicious!

Cute local bakery. Came here to grab coffee for a business meeting and it was quite a busy spot at 11am on a Tuesday but we were able to grab places at the communal table. I ordered a pain au chocolat to eat there as well as a croissant for later. I also ordered a matcha latte. Apollo helped me and was such a warm, friendly person. He went out of his way to ensure that my name was spelled correctly and to chat while I paid. I can see why this place is so popular in Redondo!

Originally a home, the restaurant has been serving up delicious breakfasts since 1961. With 12 varieties of pancakes and classic dishes like Cake & Eggs, it's a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. The casual seaside diner vibe includes giant beach umbrellas, plastic lawn chairs, and a laid-back ambiance perfect for enjoying brunch.
Best pancake ever! Came from Italy to eat in this place and was not a letdown. Great food and great service. A must if you pass in LA and want to have wonderful breakfast or lunch in the nice Manhattan Beach.

Beautiful location for morning breakfast. Service was phenomenal. Our coffee cups were never empty. There was someone checking in every couple of minutes. The entrees were hot and cooked well. The hash browns, potatoes stroganoff, were cheesy and loaded with bacon. Blueberry Pancakes were light and fluffy. The waffles had a crispy edge that added a contrast to the soft fruity center. My eggs, although cheesy, were overcooked. Uncle Bill's is worth a visit.

Solid diner food recommended by a friend. I had the Potatoes del riego w/ over-medium eggs 🍳 and a side of pancakes. Five stars for service — everyone was on their A game! Extremely impressed by the staff, who were also very accommodating. Their potato specialty was good. Three stars for mediocre pancakes and below mid pancake syrup (tasted so cheap and bad).
Wesley E — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this place. I ordered an egg combo - choose an omelette, fruit side and the strawberry pancakes and it came to $22.50. Food looked amazing - the plain omelette was yummy but the pancakes weren’t that yummy - tasted similar to a crumpet rather than a soft fluffy vanilla pancake. 70% of the staff were great and the other 30% were average and lacked warmth. There was a full house and even with 30mins left before closing they started packing up everything around us, it was really uncomfortable. They took all the other chairs at my table while I was still eating. I’m happy I ticked this off the bucket list but I wouldn’t go back.

Delicious food! Can’t complain. Expo 73 is a true experience! One of the best omelets I’ve ever had in my entire life. A symphony of flavor. Orange juice was delicious and very fresh. Service was ok, but they were busy.

During an LA trip my friend took me to Uncle Bill for breakfast. Cool spot near Manhattan beach. Our host was awesome. Everything I got came as a recommendation from the host. I ended up getting sausage wrap. My friend got the omelette which came with it pancake. Huge fan. When I come back, this will be the first place I visit.

Not a great place to dine. My partner and I came based off TikTok review to make a review of our own on TikTok (picture below.) An observation is that this is a very loud setting indoors. Once seated we ordered a drink and was given incorrect drink, fine, no big deal. Then we ordered our (2) plates and (3) sides our waitress tried to help by changing one of plates that included or substituted our sides to make things easier, however she did not remove initial plate we ordered. We brought it up to her and she had us slide the incorrect food off our plates onto another for her to take, thought that was strange... Then once ready to pay a male employee came and we showed him the extra pancakes and eggs left that should've been removed and he said we ordered it and emphasized our waitress did they to "save you guys some money" and immediately offered a box to take the food home. We decided to just pay for the food therefore we could just leave as again, the environment was very loud and we were both overwhelmed. Have noticed a lot of others have responded stating they too have had unpleasant experiences here as well. Good Stuff in Hermosa Beach is a popular beachside spot offering healthy American dishes and Mexican cuisine throughout the day. While it's known for its breakfast and brunch, the Palos Verdes location also serves dinner with a variety of entrees. The restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere right on the beach, where you can enjoy their tasty fare indoors or outdoors.
Good Stuff in Hermosa Beach is absolutely incredible. We came with the whole family — kids, grandma, my wife, and her sister — and had one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. Our waiter, Beto, was outstanding: attentive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. He made sure everything went smoothly and accommodated my sister-in-law’s celiac/gluten allergy with no issues at all. The food was unbelievable — fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the location can’t be beat. Eating breakfast while watching volleyball games just a few feet away is such a one-of-a-kind experience. The views, the vibe, the service, and the food all came together to make this a perfect morning. Hands down the best breakfast in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

It was our last day in Cali and we met up with family for brunch. A smaller group of 9 total. We originally wanted to brunch at Martha’s in Hermosa Beach which is a fave spot when we’re in town. Unfortunately, brunch time is super busy and Martha’s had a 1 hour wait. My sister-in-law mentioned Good Stuff Restaurant as another option and they only had a 30 minute wait for our group of 9 people. So we shifted over there and waited patiently. We met them there and put our name on the list. They had an abundance of seating indoors and outdoors. Very spacious and great location next to Hermosa Beach and the boardwalk. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting an hour until they were able to seat us. They sat us inside and we didn’t get to sit together either. We put the kids at one table and we sat at the other table with the baby. Our server Tadeo was nice and took good care of the kids table too. My in-laws ordered guava mimosas and my husband and I opted for just coffee. We are done drinking. Haha. I ordered the “Good Stuff Style” Huevos Rancheros. It was just ok. It had good ingredients and I liked that it was a bit healthier with the shredded cabbage but this dish lacked flavor and it didn’t look anything like the website photo. I also didn’t get any avocados. I asked for hot sauce and it was fine, but hot sauce shouldn’t mask the flavor of food. Husband got Teriyaki Steak Breakfast Bowl but as soon as we saw the plate, you could tell the steak was dry and overcooked. He said it was meh. Aside from the cool ambiance and great location, Good Stuff wasn’t worth it. And definitely not worth waiting an hour. My husband also paid for brunch since it was his sister’s family and the bill was a whopping $225 for 4 adults and 4 kids. The baby doesn’t count. Granted there were a few mimosas flowing. Even so, it was pricey for everything. Sorry Good Stuff but it wasn’t that good. With a name like that, you’d think they would uphold the name!

Had a lovely breakfast here with my colleagues at Hermosa Beach. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and we felt truly welcomed. A special shoutout to Beto for making the experience even better – friendly, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend this spot!

Perfect little cozy place on the beach for our first breakfast on our quick LA trip all the way from Alabama. Our server Beto was phenomenal, very helpful and knowledgeable. He noticed the sun on our backs and moved an umbrella behind us without being asked. The food was amazing, we had the making me Greek omelette with the peanut butter banana muffins and buttery hash browns as well as an order of French toast. We will definitely be back next trip!

I've been wanting to try Good Stuff because it's such a popular spot in Hermosa, and while the experience was okay overall, it didn't really wow me. The service was definitely the highlight, our server was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly even though it was busy. The food, on the other hand, just didn't stand out. I ordered buttermilk pancakes expecting them to be fluffy and fresh, but they came out dry and overcooked, which made them tough to enjoy. My brother ordered a burrito which was dry on the inside with no salsa on the side. The rest of the meal was fine but pretty basic... nothing that made me feel like this was a "must visit" breakfast place. It felt more like standard diner food than something special you'd go out of your way for at the beach. The location is great and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, so I can see why people like coming here. But based on my visit, I'd say it's more of a convenient neighborhood spot than somewhere I'd rave about. One thing that was super frustrating while eating is that there is a lot of flies in the area. They provide bug spray which is funny and convenient but nobody wants flies on their food. Good service, but the food could definitely use some improvement.

I have high standards when it comes to eating out because I very much enjoy just cooking for myself.. so believe me when I say I was very pleased with my experience here The flavours and textures were all delicious and very satisfying. The servers (I believe ours was named Annie? With the henna freckles) was super duper kind, with the most genuine smile. On top of all of this, the fact that this place fries their food with coconut oil??? The absolute cherry on top. If I lived in the area I would eat here alll the dang time.

Transplant from Texas, only been out here a month. First time eating here, but I always walked by it going to the beach. Also never took myself out to eat alone. BETO my server, was attentive, but also made the experience very comfortable. The weather was overcast but the environment was still warm and after my meal here, I’m gonna lay out on the sand. Food was so good I forgot to take a picture when it arrived.

OUTSTANDING service! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in LA. Gabi was our server and she was just the best! Bubbly, attentive, and super friendly. The food was fire and I really enjoyed the cozy beach atmosphere. BONUS: I won a Pokémon raid here so that’s adding points. 10/10 would come here again. 🙇🏻‍♀️‼️

FISHBAR is a popular seafood restaurant in Manhattan Beach known for its seafood-heavy brunches and happy hours, offering a sports bar vibe with maritime kitsch decor. Despite its casual appearance, the restaurant takes its fish and chips seriously, serving fresh and flaky cod or salmon in a light golden crust. Specializing in mesquite-grilled fish, king crab, shrimp, and oysters flown in daily from around the world, FISHBAR prides itself on providing the freshest seafood available.
We had a great lunch at Fishbar in Manhattan Beach – definitely one of our favorites from the whole trip! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Everything we ordered was delicious. What really made it special was the amazing service – our servers were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a good time. Huge thanks to the team for making us feel so well looked after! If you’re in Manhattan Beach and love seafood, this place is a must.

We were seated promptly, I was NOT pleased with seating but it was crowded and busy. There were many booths and a row of tables (bar height) in the middle of the floor which is where we were seated. Due to the height of stools, seating was very uncomfortable. We were given menus right away by a very friendly server and our order was taken as soon as we were ready to order. Food arrived very fast and my fish was served piping hot as were the fries. Cole slaw was creamy and slightly sweet, very good though I don't usually eat cole slaw. Fries had the perfect amount of salt. The fish coating (cod) was crispy with a soft flesh. We received warm sourdough bread with butter while waiting for food. All portion sizes were ample. I thought it was a little pricey but not surprised due to the location of the restaurant. There was seating at the bar. Not sure about drinks orders as we didn't have any alcohol.

Went for the happy hour Even though they’ll forget, highly recommend asking for the complimentary sourdough bread (so good) The happy hour portions are small, but fairly priced. Really recommend the Mac n cheese and coconut shrimp. Would skip the salmon bites (flavorless) and oysters (tiny and no brine).

Great place about 2 blocks from the beach. Swordfish, brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese were delicious, but the clam chowder was the show stopper with sourdough bread. I really enjoyed everything and was super impressed by the Maine lobster that my companion ordered. The servicenwas fast and friendly. The place gets incredibly busy for dinner, so arrive early and enjoy the happy hour specials. I absolutely will be back.

We had an amazing dinner. It’s rare for a restaurant to deliver on all fronts the way FISHBAR accomplished. Service was excellent, our server Alisa clearly knew the menu and made insightful suggestions to us. She knew exactly which drinks could be made non-alcoholic, for example. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito she suggested were both excellent. All dishes were served promptly. And it was all delicious. 1. Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. No bacon (which Alisa knew immediately when asked), perfect size (deeply satisfying but not overwhelming), and the bread bowl was superbly chewy and crispy. I demolished it, no regrets. 2. Best oysters I’ve had outside of France. Big plump oysters, fresh and delightful. Great price during happy hour. 3. Husband said the Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious. Tender delicate fish, healthy and fresh. He said it reminded him of the fish tacos we had in Mexico. Ambiance was also very comfortable. Good blend of aesthetics and function, thoughtfully done. Snug layout but still easy to navigate around the tables. Bathroom was proper clean and smelled nice. Sending our compliments to the chef, bartender, server, and owner.

We were visiting from out of State we had lunch for my friend's birthday. Everything was superb and wonderful. We were so happy we came during the day so it was not busy and we were able to get in. I had the lobster bisque a fancy drink and a whole pound of crab legs. I was only sad that they didn't have king crab, but that was fine.

Looking for a seafood restaurant near el segundo, this is it. Better make a reservation prior to arriving as it’s busy and not too big. We had half dozen oysters and those were fresh, perfect size and tasty! I had the fish n chips with a side of lobster Mac and it was good. Glad I chose the fish n chips as main entry as the Mac was good but not great. My wife got the seared tuna dinner and it was also very tasty. Good portion size, slightly pricey but normal for seafood. $30 to $40 range for normal entrees. She got a perfectly chilled dry vodka martini and I got a Chardonnay and it was great.
Aldo C — Google review
I came to FishBar after a massage at Sand Spa, looking for a quiet, cozy end to the evening—and this was the perfect spot. I ordered a glass of Malbec and started with kusshi raw oysters (fresh and clean), followed by the shrimp and scallops (no bacon) with a side of broccolini and lobster mac and cheese. The shrimp and scallops were flavorful and cooked beautifully. The broccolini added a nice balance. The mac and cheese was a little watery for my taste, but the flavor was still rich and comforting. They seated me in the back on a soft little sofa, and it felt like my own little corner of calm after a long day. I’d come back just for that atmosphere—and for the shrimp and scallops again.

Martha’s Hermosa Beach is a beloved spot known for its seasonal fare and vegetarian options. The restaurant's omelets are renowned for being large, fluffy, and filled with cheese, vegetables, and meats. Despite changing ownership a few years ago, the new owners wisely decided to maintain the establishment's successful formula. The menu is not extensive but features simple and wholesome ingredients prepared with skill and quality.
Second time at this jewel of Hermosa. Only issue is the wait time. We were a party of 5 with a dog. Sat in their patio. Was served by Heather. She is awesome. It was so busy on a Saturday lunch time so can’t blame the slow service but it’s worth the wait. I had the fried chicken sandwich that is to die for with curly fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. The only complaint was the hasbrowns that was a bit mushy for my taste. Kinda like texture of boiled potato.

Martha’s in Hermosa Beach is an absolute gem! The menu offers something for everyone. You can tell ingredients are fresh, and the variety means you’ll want to come back just to try more. What really makes the experience special is the outdoor terrace. Sitting outside just steps from the beach, soaking up the sun with a great meal and ocean breeze — it doesn’t get much better than that. The laid-back, welcoming atmosphere paired with attentive service makes it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch or casual lunch. Highly recommended!
Miguel T — Google review
Stopped in for my first time today and I was really impressed. Breakfast was honestly delicious and the location is hard to beat. It’s located in Hermosa Beach really close to the actual beach. Parking in the area can be a bit difficult but spaces open up quite frequently, but it will definitely be metered, there aren’t really any free parking spaces. We arrived around 10:30 for Sunday brunch and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated for a party of two. The wait was worth it and even though we had to sit outside, it was covered and our server was polite and attentive. They have many tables inside as well as out so there are plenty of seating options. Inside and outside were both bustling and it was really busy, but service was still pretty quick. The menu has a lot of great options, but I decided to go with the Eggs California because I am a huge Benedict fan and I added chorizo which I would highly recommend. The chorizo and avocado combination is almost unbeatable, and I honestly loved it. The coffee was also strong and overall I thought it was a fantastic breakfast. I would say it’s my favorite breakfast spot in Hermosa Beach and would recommend to anyone.

Martha’s dominates the brunch scene in South Bay. I wouldn’t call it the best brunch but it’s close to the best, which is why it’s got a four in my book. I remember Martha’s before they renovated in 2020 and it’s definitely not what it is today. It’s right along the beach. It usually has a long waits on the weekends. But it’s definitely worth checking out.
Victoria U — Google review
Sushi Bar - incredible once in a blue moon experience. Chefs from Miami, Dallas, and Austin bless us with their expertise and culinary cuisine. We have great sushi spots in the south bay - but nothing this unique, defined, and respected. This is a 16 course meal and NOT cheap....it shouldn't be. Well done team.
Nathan G — Google review
If I could give Martha’s more than 5 stars, I would—seriously. The views? Five stars. The vibes? Five stars. The service? Always five stars. But that white corn scramble? 500 stars, easy. Fluffy, cheesy, sweet-savory perfection. I order it every time and dream about it in between. Now listen… the wait is zero stars. But that’s not on them—it’s just what happens when a spot is this damn good. So either show up early or be ready to sip and wait. Martha’s on 22nd is a whole vibe. Feels like home, but with better food and beach views. I’ll keep coming back ‘til they name a scramble after me….

It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with popular dishes like the filet and lobster Benedict for breakfast and the El Jefe breakfast burrito.
Had lunch today & as good as advertised. Gin and Collin’s very refreshing. Appetizer crispy rice tuna was good, chicken sandwich very good and big enough to share. And the kale salad was the star of the show. We will be back

Wonderful Evening! We had such a lovely evening at Nick Manhattan Beach! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous – exactly what we were hoping for. From starters to dessert, everything was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The location is fantastic – close to the beach with a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. On top of that, the staff were incredibly hardworking, friendly, and attentive. Their warm energy really added to the whole experience. We’re definitely coming back and will recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you, Nick Manhattan Beach!

Nice ambiance. Good service. Delicious food and not overly priced. Decent size portion. Simple menu. Most of the dishes we ordered were all good except for thai salad. Butter cake was nice and warm: one of the best I've had in a while. Complimentary birthday cake. Highly recommend this place.

Nick’s Manhattan Beach was a perfect choice for our grown ups only lunch with my husband’s family. Parking was crazy during the time we went around 2pm. We were driving around for 15 minutes trying to find parking. Funny enough, we finally snagged a space in the parking lot across from Nick’s. 2 hour metered parking limit. Ugh. We had a reservation for 10 guests. They sat us at a big round table on the patio. Adeli was our lovely server and she was very sweet and attentive for the duration of our dining experience. Amazing service. The menu looked so good. Everything was pricey, especially considering it was only lunch time. But this is a nice restaurant too so the prices don’t really shock me either. I opted for the Chicken Katsu Salad. The salad had Chicken Katsu, mango, heirloom tomatoes, red peppers, crispy carrots, serrano peppers, peanuts, napa cabbage, arugula, asian cilantro dressing. Yummy! I was super happy with my choice because the presentation was on point but more importantly, all the flavors complimented each other. The textures of this salad were on point. Chicken Katsu was fresh and crispy and was a nice touch to the salad all in all. The Blackened Fish Sandwich was a popular item. I almost ordered that too but all the salads looked unique and tasty. Prime Rib Dip Sandwich looked appealing too as I’m a big fan of French Dip sandwiches all in all. It was a nice day out with the grown ups and no kids. Nick’s was the perfect spot with delicious food, good drinks, great service and the whole vibe/ambiance. I would highly recommend this spot for a nice meal. DO IT!!!

We had an enjoyable lunch at Nick’s in manhattan beach on a Saturday morning. Service was great. Coffee was cold, so the had to brew a new batch for us. I tried the fish sandwich. It was ok 3.5/5. Nothing to write home about. I also tried a bit a the chicken katsu salad. 4/5. To much going on in it. Way too many mangoes. The spicy tuna crispy rice appy was decent but not sure if it was worth $19. All in all not bad but I think there are better options in the area.

Very friendly service even on Mother's Day. The apple crepe was a great shareable starter. The food is as tasty as the photos lead you to believe. My crab cake Benedict was superb. Slight crunch and firm ,no heavy mayonnaise to detract from the crab. All the egg dishes were cooked the way it should be. The vegetarian in our group loved the caprese Benedict.

We came to this location looking for a cozy brunch spot and unfortunately were very disappointed. The location here on a very walkable street is quaint and comfortable, but the food was extremely concerning. Three of the four crepes my group ordered came out with uncooked egg whites, and two of those crepes were fully cold. The other fillings were tasty but the uncooked eggs were unappetizing, especially for the price point. Most of our crepes went uneaten. The water we were poured also had black sediment in it, and new glasses did not help. We were seated on the sidewalk patio so I can forgive the relatively inattentive service, but it did not improve the experience. Overall very concerning cleanliness of food and I would not choose this location again soon.

Absolutely yes! Their food was so good!! The French toast was probably one of the best I've ever had. The fruit was very fresh and the eggs and bacon were also delicious. Their crepes are also amazing, but my favorite was the French toast. Ordered take out and the food was still excellent by the time I brought it home to eat. Please check this place out! I definitely recommend it and I will be returning

The place has real potential and for what its worth there are a handful of locations throughout Southern California (4-6 sites?). I live in Oceanside and my good friend from high school lives in Venice, CA so we decided to meet somewhere in between which he recommended this joint. We arrived around noon(ish) which of course, is the lunch hour but they still served breakfast. If you didn't figure it out or haven't been there yet, it is French cuisine, specializing in an assortment of crepes. Many different options from the regular batter to a buckwheat batter and then a vegan "menu" is offered. My 9 year old ordered a crepe loaded with eggs, bacon and "breakfast" potatoes. He did not like it nor did he eat ore than a few bites. Luckily he also asked to order a side of French fries. He argued, "Well, they are "french"! I honestly must say they were the best French fries I've ever had! Now I've had specialized fries that come with fancy cheeses melted and that sort of thing but for a purely sliced potato deep fried into a "fry" and then salted and peppered only, these were truly amazing! My buddy and I both ordered an Eggs Benedict based on the server's high recommendation. It came with a side of au gratin potatoes (small portion), and a green salad (didn't touch!). My friend and I agreed that while the plate was certainly tasty, it was not incredible. This was in part, because the food was fairly cold when it arrived. The food arrived in a standard amount of time so curious as to why it wasn't warm??

We love visiting this place on weekends! The atmosphere is always inviting, and the food is consistently tasty. They offer a great selection of dishes that feel both hearty and refreshing. This diner may be small and often crowded, but it offers a really cozy atmosphere with excellent service. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff remained attentive and friendly throughout. The portions were generous, and the menu had plenty of healthy options, like the high-protein breakfast with salmon and egg whites—perfect for a nutritious start to the day. The oatmeal crème brûlée was a pleasant surprise, rich and delicious. However, the real star of the meal was the strawberry cheesecake waffles—they were absolutely out of this world! On the downside, I wasn’t a huge fan of the biscuit and gravy skillet, but overall, the diner serves up a satisfying, well-rounded breakfast experience.

When you see tons of people waiting outside a small breakfast place you have to figure the food is great.. and Wildflower delivers with delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices and great service. They offer a nice selection of coffee, espresso, juices.. full breakfast beverage menu. The choices runs full breakfast and lunch with omelettes, picture perfect fluffy pancakes, burgers, sammies, and the list goes on. The eggs benedict look amazing. The California omelette was very tasty and came with really good potatoes that were nicely seasoned and not greasy. The matcha latte and iced coffee were both top notch. The service is great and they get food out pretty quickly even with a full house. The move here to avoid a long wait is to add yourself to the wait list on their site and you get a pretty accurate idea when to arrive for minimal wait. The patio is nice and open to dogs so you can stroll down with your furry friends and they too can get in the Wildflower experience.

I believe the wildflower pancakes are somewhat underappreciated, as they are the best homestyle pancakes, fluffy, warm, and incredibly delicious, melting in your mouth. The strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and walnuts are blended into the pancake mix, so you won't even notice they're there. They appear ordinary, but they hold a delightful surprise within, and the entire dish arrives warm. I added my own touch with strawberries and whipped cream on top, transforming it into a pancake-like creation. It's such a generous portion that you'll want to savor every bite, even when you're full. The outstanding customer service, particularly from our cheerful and gracious server Andréa, was a delightful addition. We appreciate the wonderful experience, Andréa. We are definitely coming back 😎🥞😋

Java Man is a beloved coffee shop in Hermosa Beach that has been a staple for over three decades. It offers meticulously brewed coffee, delicious breakfast burritos, and a variety of freshly baked goods. The cozy atmosphere with changing local art displays and outdoor seating makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quality food and drinks. Visitors appreciate the comforting and nostalgic vibes of this independent coffeehouse, which stands out from chain establishments.
To start, the staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They have dine in or take out (they are very quick) options. The atmosphere is wonderful. The breakfast burritos are delicious, and the salsa is amazing. They have a variety of yummy treats in the case and every type of coffee drink you can think of. (Today's treat pick was a blueberry cream cheese cake- I highly recommend it).

Real great cafe and feels like a comfortable place to chill. I like their coffee and prices. Staff were awesome. No real complaints really.

Java Man played a large factor in my decision to come back to Hermosa Beach on vacation. Something about it is just comforting. Came here before the pandemic and now four years later the service, selection and quality is just as it was. The breakfast burritos are SO GOOD and they have a huge variety of baked goods. Plus the guys are just so nice. Homey, nostalgic, cozy but still buzzy. Quintessential coffee shop vibes. I will come back to Hermosa again just to go here.

This is a perfect coffee shop if you want to sit, relax or do some work! Nested only a few blocks away from the beach but in a relatively quieter area, the location is a perfect combo of convenience and peace. I came on a Sunday late morning, ordered a whole wheat bagel served with cream cheese with an iced coffee and sat down doing some work for a good 1.5 hours. Half of the seats were empty with the majority of customers lining up for to go orders. The food and drink were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was a perfect substitute for Starbucks across PCH. They also offer FREE WiFi which is a must for any remote work.

Coffee is amazing!! The blueberry banana coffee cake was the best! Cute coffee shop, if I lived in CA, this would definitely be my to go spot. My husband had the everything bagel toasted, he said it was very good.

Quite pleasant cafe with tasty and healthy options. I had the coffee with coconut oil and MCT oil and a chicken panini. Small seating area was plenty for my friends and I. They had a clean restroom and water for all guests. Recommend!

I just happened to stop by this town accidentally and it was so worth it! A very cute cafe and lovely experience. Very friendly staff they weren’t too upset I was coming in just as they were closing. Although a bit spenny it’s so worth it. Gulped my smoothie down so fast I wish I got two.

You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say. Let’s begin this elite review. :D The Source Cafe (est 2017) is a popular and fun little breakfast spot right on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach. It has a cool vibe, lots of fun things on the menu, healthy smoothies, and baked pastries. Interior design and layout were brilliant with abundant natural light. We came on an early weekend morning to grab breakfast; it was my first time at this cafe. I was warmly greeted by a male staff with a smile. I ordered an iced coffee and avocado toast. Both items were solid. Breakfast AT was delightful and healthy. Services were spot on. Prices were fair for the area. Plenty of street metered parking. Overall, this cafe is a good spot for breakfast. I recommend it.

Very sweet little spot with amazing baked items and menu items. Delicious iced chai & coffee cake. The frittata was great but didn’t have sun dried tomatoes the day we were there. Welcoming of dogs as well with their two patios. My only issue would be that it’s a bit on the pricey side
Lo W — Google review
The Source is a locals' favorite because the food, drinks, and service are amazing and they have healthy options and juices for the active, healthy Hermosa crowd. The salads and sandwiches are a delicious and their avocado toast is a fan favorite. The interior is very fresh and bright with folks coming and going or sitting and relaxing.. they offer a grab and go section full of fresh juices, smoothies, healthy snacks and sweet treats.. so it is a great place is you are in a hurry or ready to chill. The drink menu has all sorts of healthy boosts for energy to immunity and everything else the Source Cafe has you covered.

Matcha brain fuel tasted nothing like Matcha. Their to-go cups are extremely poor quality, and for every sip I took, one sip landed on my shorts.

I haven’t come here in two years because of the awful service. I needed a quick iced coffee today so gave them another chance. Awful! Never again. Girl takes my name for the coffee order and proceeds to play on her tik tok and leave me waiting for 30 minutes until I finally ask if my order is ready. And she replies oh ya it’s here and proceeds to cough and sneeze all over. Not sure how they stay in business.
Katayoun M — Google review
Great local spot. Super cute area right in the center of Hermosa Beach. With plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area, we were happy to have stumbled upon The Source. We were warmly welcomed and greeted with a display of all their homemade desserts and pastries. Their colorful smoothies, juices, elixirs, and shots were so inviting and too hard to turn down. We tried the Beets drink and the Blue Majik smoothie. They were delicious. To eat we had paninis and avocado toast. Everything locally sourced and good for you. We look forward to trying out more dishes upon our next stop. Great experience, just know it is on the pricey end!

Panera Bread is a popular bakery and cafe chain known for its delicious sandwiches, salads, and freshly baked bread. The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming environment with attentive customer service. While some find the prices a bit high, others appreciate the hearty food and great experience. The staff is friendly and hardworking, creating a pleasant atmosphere for customers to enjoy their meals. However, some have noted that the establishment can be busy at times and may need better upkeep.
Attentive customer service. Great homie feeling. Good food, but a bit on the pricey side. Similar food & experience at Corner Bakery for Half the Price. But, if you live close by or it’s convenient. Definitely hearty food & a great experience. For me to spend 14$ on half a sandwich & a cup of soup is Insane. Beware, getting half a sandwich & cup of soup is not getting you a combo price, they will charge you the full price of half a sandwich which usually is around 7.79$ plus a cup of soup for 6$. You r better of buying a full sandwich for 10$ & adding a cup of soup =16$. So for 2$ extra Dollars you get a full sandwich & for 2$ extra dollars you can get a bowl of soup. I feel that 18$ for a full sandwich & a bowl of soup is still pricey compared to Corner Bakery, but fair. 14$ for half a sandwich & a cup of soup is just insane. At Corner Bakery that would be 7$. & don’t make me get started on their basic tiny half Chinese Salad for 8$. At least the French onion soup was DELICIOUS, so was the bbq sandwich. Their pastry, particularly the chocolate croissant, well priced & scrumptious. & 6 good hot tea options with honey under 3$ with refill.

We took garden caprese melt sandwich, with Bagette and broccoli cheddar soup. Food was fresh, bread and baguettes was great (one of the nice one available locally). Ambience is calm , soothing, no loud noise. Lot of families and young kids were with us. Toilet clean ( don’t forget to ask passcode) . Over all good place to eat.

If you don’t care to wait at least 45 min for your food then come here. I haven’t had this issue during the weekday, but when I told them I wouldn’t order from here if I knew the wait would be so bad on a Saturday at lunch they said: we had so many back to back orders, 15. I would hope this Panera would have the capacity to be able to serve 15 customers back to back.

Great first time. I really enjoyed my sandwich. It was the new croissant that was amazing. The way they conduct business is very good. Very friendly everyone had a smile. Shannon being the first face I seen and interacted with thank you for help that day. I will be bringing my family for future outings .

Let me first say I have eaten here before and loved the experience. But for every glowing review there are also some less flattering. Poor supply situation tonight, we came for dinner at 6:30 and were told they were out of tomato soup (really worth trying if you haven’t already) and we ordered the Chili (very good) and the ten vegetable soup (amazing). But darn, they ran out of French baguettes so we opted for the spotted grain rolls. Upon delivery, however, they regretted to inform us that there were no more rolls either so it would either be chips or apple slices. I give the girl credit for trying, when I asked what about regular bread she said sure and went a came back with one slice of white sandwich bread, cut in half, one half for each of us. You can imagine the wondering going on in my head as to the short supply of everything, is this a sign of impending closure? Are we among the last customers? As if to heighten the paranoia, my dinner companion’s soup was half again more than mine. Hmmm, did they also run out of the ten vegetable soup and gave me what little remained? We decided to wait until the waitress came by again so our bowls would be untouched and she could see the difference for herself. I asked the waitress and she looked thoughtful then disappeared. As she never came back with an answer I guess I will weigh this unusual experience against five previous excellent experiences I have had at this Panera.

I’ve been to many Panera Bread locations, but this one truly stands out. The service is always friendly and attentive, with staff who genuinely care about making your visit enjoyable. The food is consistently fresh and delicious—especially the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl. The warm, inviting ambiance makes it a perfect spot to relax with a coffee or get some work done. Overall, it’s an exceptional experience every time.

Better than average for a Panera Bread in terms of cleanliness and the location itself. I've visited 15-20 Paneras in LA County, and this one is easily in the top 30%. It's a great place to do work or sit for a bite... the Cafe feels large with nice big windows and a variety of types of tables. A diverse and generally courteous clientele here. Also, praise God, there are outlets to plug in your device!! It's in a nice safe area too, near the mall with security. Not too many weirdos or characters around. So yea, this is my go-to location in the area.

I have observed advertisements for The Beach Hut in monthly mailers but never had the opportunity to visit until now. I regret not coming earlier as my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the delectable cuisine. We opted for dish #12a, which consisted of a spicy sausage referred to as Pocho sausage, an egg scramble with rice, and lightly toasted sweet bread. The portion was satisfyingly generous, ensuring a fulfilling meal. We plan on returning in the future.
One of my favorite restaurants in LA. Love the selection on the menu. Friendly service. Low key vibe. You come here for the food, as there are no views to speak of. Easy to park. I often go to the Korean market or thrift store after my breakfast (both are right next door)
KP G — Google review
I was so disappointed by their breakfast burrito, but I’m giving 4 stars to not ruin their rating. It was pretty small to be $15 and the hash browns were totally undercooked. Not crispy at all. The cheese was super processed shredded cheese out of a bag and was very scant. If I went back, definitely wouldn’t order that again.

Today we visited The Beach Hut Local Grill for somw Hawaiian food. Upon entering the staff warmly greeted us. The enterior was clean looking which is always a plus. We ordered #9 The surfer Special. It came with homemade hash with corned beef, two eggs and Hawaiian sweet bread. Our second order was plate #f. It came with soicy teriyaki chicken macaroni salad and a plain wanton. On the side we ordered one masubi. Our order took approximately 10 minutes. We then went to the beach to enjoy our food. As I opened my container,#9 I had two eggs over easy and two scoops of rice and patato hash. As for the corned beef there was non, the biggest piece was not even a 1/4 inch in length all together maybe six tiny tiny specs. As for my wife plate, she had F plate. It came with macaroni and salad, spicy chicken and a plain wanton. The chicken was properly seasoned and thoroughly cooked, along two scoops of rice and macaroni and salad. The mac and salad was bland. The salad was ceispy and had a good amount of dressing on it. The masubi was ordered as a side It okay. Overall this restaurant was okay. But very disappointed with plate #9.

I've seen ads for this place in monthly mailers and never went. Now I kick myself for not coming here sooner. My wife and I truly enjoyed the food. I had #12a, spicy sausage (I think called a Pocho sausage) and egg scramble with rice and sweet bread (lightly toasted). A nice portioned meal. We'll definitely be returning. We returned for breakfast again and I was thinking sweet and salty. So I ordered the sweet bread French toast combo with scrambled eggs and Spam. I love Spam.

The inviting atmosphere is complemented by friendly staff who ensure a pleasant experience as you explore their lovely array of treats.
Friendly service. As a Vietnamese person, the Vietnamese coffee is pretty good. A little on the sweeter side & I probably should've asked if they have a smaller size. The one I got is like 4 servings 🤣 The pastries are quite tasty. We tried a pumpkin cheesecake cupcake, a kale & spinach croissant and ube cookie. Would definitely return. Love the name.

I have been going to this place since post covid and I have to say that I love their bakery items as well as their breakfast menu. The coffee is also freshly brewed and they even have Vietnamese coffee. The community is nice, although recently I found droppings on the sidewalk which was concerning. Great local place to get some amazing breakfast sandwiches! My to-go breakfast sandwich is the Jalapeño Breakfast with pastrami on a croissant. All there baked goods are excellent and made in house. The owners are a very nice Vietnamese couple and have nice strong Vietnamese coffee.

Sandwich was great but bread was a bit stale, though I imagine that’s because it’s made in house and has a much shorter shelf life because of the freshness. Cookie was delicious. Would come back to try other things, hopefully with bread that’s not stale next time.

Redondough never disappoints! I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and their menu is packed with a mouthwatering mix of sweet and savory delights. I’ve brought their cookies, pies, and cupcakes to countless parties and work gatherings—always a crowd-pleaser. My go-to lineup includes the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, the Turkey Deli Sandwich on a buttery croissant, and of course, an irresistible Ube Cookie. Honestly, you can’t miss with anything on the menu. Restaurant
Lunasia Dim Sum House in Torrance has quickly established itself as a must-visit spot for dim sum enthusiasts in the South Bay. Imagine starting your day on their charming string-lit patio, indulging in succulent pork buns, oversized pork siu mai, and delightfully crispy shrimp rolls. The modern twist here is that you can place your orders through a QR code at your table, yet the made-to-order dishes arrive so swiftly that you won't even miss the traditional roving carts.
Love they’re food definitely worth the price. Portions are big & flavors are on point. There isn’t much for customer service as you order on the phone from your table, they do work with urgency I will say. A must items shumai & sticky rice
Karleanne — Google review
One of the best dim sum places! Good price, generous portions, and fresh ingredients that are freshly made. Highly recommend any of their baked or deep fried things like the shrimp roll and Chinese donut. I think they have the freshest best tasting Chinese donut in comparison to elsewhere. Their jumbo shrimp and pork sui mai is so fresh it tastes like they just made it there and then for order. I've been a few times and never disappointed.
Ria C — Google review
Food was excellent. It was a little confusing at 1st since they've done away with physical menus and use a QR code, but once they let us know we ordered the veggie vermicelli noodles, half order Peking duck, spinach shrimp dumplings, pork bao buns and crispy shrimp rolls. Along with hot tea and water. Very tasty, nice portions, we ordered pork buns to go and we had leftover duck and shrimp rolls.

Really pretty space. Wide menu and tasty food. The downsides is that it's a little complicated to find parking relative to its entrance, and the employees are very aloof? Not sure how to describe it. The manager was very nice though.
Megan D — Google review
While in town visiting parents, did the dim sum brunch here. Ordering from the phone via a QR code is neat, there is something to be said about the nostalgia of having a cart of dishes to choose from circulating the restaurant.

The food was nice - they offered quite a range of dim sum. The outdoor area was fine - lots of interesting decors. The staff stayed mostly in the indoor area though.

This new dish of seafood stir fried was really greasy and doesn’t come with much content. Just squids and a bit of fried taro. So really should be called squid stir fried. Recommend restaurant to take the dish off menu as it’s not really good. Other dim sum are fine.

Wow! What an incredible experience. My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary for a little relaxation away from the kids. From the second we arrived to the second we left, the staff was amazing!!!!! From the valet, to front desk ladies, and restaurant staff, incredibly kind and helpful. And the room was beautiful and clean with a tub on the deck!! Thank you Shade for employing such amazing people and bringing light into this crazy world. 🙏🏼❤️

The location was fantastic... Beautiful views and very serene. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only con was the customer service at the front desk. The first day of check in I came in with one of my employees. I noticed inconsistency in how the customer is treated. My employee interaction from the front desk person was great. She was very detailed oriented and explained everything and even offered her an alcoholic drink and explained the room. While the person that checked me in was really just doing a task. She only offered me the alcoholic drink after the front desk person next to her offered a drink to my employee. She did not explain anything and just felt like she just wanted to check me in and complete a task. The next day I was standing behind other customers checking in and the front desk was taking very long on taking care of the customers. They were waiting for a long time to get taken care of. I had some questions about the area but I walked away because I was just waiting and never acknowledged. It's a great location and the hotel is very nice but the customer service needs some work.

This was a happy surprise! Normally we stay at the Manhattan Beach location but this year it was not available so we gave the Redondo Beach location a shot and it didn’t disappoint! This is my new favorite place for my husband and I to stay at. The beach was within walking distance and we biked along the beach. The food did not disappoint and Oscar and Greg from the restaurant gave the best customer service! Oscar learned that this was our first time at Shade/Redondo and he gave us a tour of the hotel. So kind!! The rooms were beautiful with a great view! Perfect getaway! The only reason I gave a 4 star on the room was because the bed sank on the side I was sleeping on but they made it right and we were able to switch rooms so maybe a 4 1/2 stars should be given.

We spent our wedding night at the Shade Hotel/Redondo Beach. The entire experience was perfect. The room was beautiful with an awesome tub on the balcony and harbor view. They provided a complimentary bottle of Champagne for our special night. We heard the Seals all night it was so beautiful. Our Dinner at Sea Level was amazing, we had the filet mignon and smoked Old fashioned's. The staff were all very friendly. We can't wait to come back for our 1st anniversary!
Gina P — Google review
Nice rooms, very good beds, nice bathtub on the balcony. Staff was very kind, sofabed and 4 bikes I asked for were prepared upfront. Unfortunately the hotel feels like Vegas with its massive use of profit centers (Parking, breakfast, pool) trying to upsell everything. Parking is overpriced. But at least you know before you arrive. Breakfast has no juice included. No espresso, or cappuccino included. Bagels, muffins, basic hot meals (eggs and sausage) like in every standard US motel. Trying to upsell their bar showing fancy juice cocktails to purchase. Unacceptable for this hotel price range. But the real issue is the pool and the pool deck. Not only is it very small - pictures don’t show. The hotel partners with the Marina so there are lots of non hotel guests with bad behavior. After our arrival at 7pm my family and I ended up with a drunken group of boat owners who enjoyed their weekend buzz witz beers and cocktails in the pool. Never experienced something like this. For a 9 and a 14 year old a strange situation. We had to beg twice for pool towels and at 8 pm the hotel staff switched off the lights demanding us to leave. Not even the showers were working anymore so we needed up freezing and had to shower in the room. During the day the pool is overcrowded and the bar is constantly promoting alcoholic drinks (even the slush ice my 9 year old wanted has alcohol in it). It seems that there are constantly loads of rude non hotel guests occupying the pool. We ordered a 9 USD french fries which was cold by the time we finally received it - cocktails are faster served at the pool. This is NOT a family hotel if you want a full experience and enjoy more than the room, the views and the bikes go somewhere else!

Highly recommend this establishment.

Always very accommodating and friendly. From staff to manager everyone is there to help and make sure I have a comfortable stay every time. Usually stay here when I’m in LA based on how central it is to everything. Mall right up the street. Nice clean rooms and always friendly housekeeping. I enjoy staying here when I’m in town and will continue to do so.

The experience was ok!The only issue was we stayed several days and had to ask multiple times for room service. Then had to retrieve the items ourselves! The housekeepers spoke minimum to no English. Overall idk if I would go again due to trying to get an extra day I was told the room we occupied was no longer available.

Restaurant
Creme De La Crepe in Redondo Beach offers a cozy setting to savor both savory and sweet crêpes, along with hearty French dinners. Situated in the bustling Riviera Village, this spot is known for its authentic French dining experience. The restaurant's staff is entirely French, adding to the ambiance. Whether it's brunch or a special Christmas meal, patrons can expect an extensive menu featuring options like buckwheat crepes, waffles, omelettes, and hash dishes.
Great place family and friends with indoor and outdoor al fresco seating. Glad they kept this as it adds to the ambiance of Redondo. Amicable staff and quick service. Food is great with a good selection to pick from. No pastries though. Mimosas, coffee and other drinks available. Parking may be a bit difficult as it is street parking predominantly. There was no wait on this particular Saturday morning.

This is a lovely French cafe located on Catalina in the heart of the Riv. They are obviously known for Crepes but they have a great menu ranging from breakfast to dinner, amazing salads and sandwiches for lunch. It does get crowded as the place isn't huge and they are super popular but that is a good sign that you want to eat there. Creme is a great change of pace from the many spots in the village that do very similar menus. The potatoes they serve are a welcome change from the fries and tempura veg you see so much of. The service is always great and the food is prepared with care. There are so many good places to eat in Riviera Village and this is definitely one of our favorites! There is really no on site parking but usually it is pretty easy to find a meter in the triangle which is like 2 minutes walk. If you are in the mood for a stroll you can always park free on the avenues assuming it isn't a beach day or it will be packed too.

Creme de la crepe was outstanding and one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Best escargot I’ve ever had and amazing coffee. Food was outstanding and the service was spectacular as well. Great environment inside and I’d come back here any day. Good french onion soup and a very reasonably priced menu. Crepes were great and I’m looking forward to the next visit

Always love this place. Normally we'd have breakfast or brunch here, but this time we're here for dinner. They have a happy hour from 3pm to 6pm, where you can have a dessert crepe for $7 and drink specials. We missed it. As the adult, I had a Lilet spritz, which was delicious and was perfect for sunset on a spring evening. Not surprisingly, we also ordered the same as what we would have ordered for breakfast/ brunch. Still great.

The food was really nice! we sat outside and that was nice! The cappuccino was good, the lavender latte lacked lavender taste, we had French benedict, salmon benedict, and spicy lamb hash. They were all very tasty and a good size! We also ordered a breton crepe and a grand marnier french toast. The french toast was moist and yummy however the crepe lacked nutella and was harder to chew in my opinion. We had a great experience and the staff was very friendly as well. We cant wait to come back!

Un Caffe Altamura, a charming spot located in Manhattan Beach, offers an exceptional dining experience with delightful cuisine and superb coffee. Although finding parking can be a challenge, the restaurant's attentive waitstaff and delectable menu make up for it. In fact, they even went above and beyond by offering a complimentary croissant plate as an apology for a minor mishap with the coffee order. The bacon chipotle burrito is highly recommended, along with the chef's special.
I love to travel and mostly because of food! This was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Food was intentionally curated with so much thought and care. Everything was incredible. We had the French omelet, two soups and the avocado toast. We felt so welcomed from the minute we walked in. While the food was remarkable it was the service and owner who we will remember the most. Definitely a must stop if in Manhattan Beach.

Delicious brunch food, generous portions. Friendly and attentive service! The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is SO LOUD. I think sounds were not well absorbed by the brick walls and we felt like we had to shout to hear each other across a two person table. Otherwise, great atmosphere and a good experience.

Jenny & her staff were the upmost polite, professional, and welcoming! Customer service here is phenomenally above and beyond. The food is delicious as all the extravagantly combined different flavors collide with one another to its symmetrically paired food and other impacting flavors, leaving you with a desire in your mouth that has the cravings of flavor and texture begging for more with each bite. Amazing job, well done on the entré selections!! Props to the chef, & staff for a pleasant and pleasurable experience, leaving their customers with a satisfied palate and mindset! Combine their customer service with top flavor nutritional filling food, and you get repeat business! Clean Restrooms 🚻!! Polite staff Amazing food Great atmosphere

Stopped by Un Caffé Altamura for breakfast and had such a great experience. I walked there, so I can’t speak to the parking, but I was seated right away. The coffee was delicious, breakfast hit the spot, and I treated myself to a mimosa—worth it! It’s a super cute spot just a block from the pier. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy, satisfying start to your day.

"Johnny, I'm in Manhattan Beach today where should I go?" LOOK NO FURTHER. I DIRECT EVERYONE WITH 2 EARS TO THIS PLACE. It reminds me of what I daydream of when I picture a perfect cafe on the Amalfi coast, a beautiful tasteful interior without being ostentatious. A cafe where everything has a purpose and functionality, and this functionally brings about an effortless simplicity. At one table there is a gentlemen draped in all linen with a white fedora, drinking his coffee reading his newspaper, and at another there is a beautiful couple in their late 20s splitting a croissant, laughing vivaciously just enjoying being in the presence of one another. Ahhhh, young love. Locking back in here, my b. Let me put you on this Honey Lavender Latte, or as Manhattan Beach locals call it, "The Elixir of Life." Tbh I don't even like latte's and neither does my brother, but we always get one when we come here. After the latte, the vet move is to order the smoked chipotle tomato bisque soup. This is like the Wayne Gretzky of tomato bisque soups. I went with the Simple Breakfast as I love just that, a simple breakfast. lol. The eggs: perfect, the fruit: fresh, the bacon: delicious, and the bread: pre-buttered. Pre-buttered bread is so mf underrated. I need to shoutout the entire staff for being so welcoming and engaging, they really make you feel right at home. I specifically need to highlight Alexa, who is actually the GOAT. Every restaurant and cafe owner can learn something from her. She has literally everyone in Manhattan Beach thinking she is their best friend, and I mean this in the best way possible. A lot of restaurant owners or managers make the rounds throughout their restaurant, stopping by the table with a forced smile that anyone with a decent EQ can see right through, but not Alexa. It really does feel authentic from her. When I told her I was moving out to Alphabet City in nyc, she had like a 10 minute conversation with me about it and how she loves Alphabet City and she is so excited/jealous. You can't teach this skillset. She loves this cafe and the city and this passion oozes out of her. I for one can't help but be inspired by this level of passion. MANHATTAN BEACH, STAND UP!!!!!

Nestled within the stunning Portofino Hotel, BALEENkitchen offers a delightful dining experience that beautifully marries upscale American cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Guests can savor their meals while soaking in breathtaking harbor views from the patio or enjoying a cozy atmosphere indoors, adorned with charming nautical decor. This chic restaurant is perfect for romantic evenings or casual gatherings alike.
The cioppino was my first foray into local seafood. What a wonderful introduction! The scallops were buttery, some of the fish just melted in my mouth, and the broth made everything worth trying. I'd eat anything in that tomato-saffron broth. The swordfish steak was also a hit - perfectly cooked with a great texture. Our service was spectacular; we felt very welcomed and taken care of. I highly recommend the Dark Horse cocktail.

My friend and I stumbled across BALEEN kitchen on a Sunday morning. After looking through the menu, and talking with Barbie, the hostess we definitely wanted to relax and enjoy a meal after our walk along the waterfront. We were seated in a beautiful blue velvet tufted booth ( I would recommend making reservations for this booth). Alex was our server who has a great personality with a smile! I ordered the NOBLE CHOPPED SALAD, which was delicious, but it wasn't chopped. I think my salad was missing the roasted beets, but I didn't mention it, because it wad delicious and beautifully presented. My friend ordered the EGG TOAST and added cherry tomatoes. She enjoyed it. Weekends there is endless mimosas, but I am trying to be healthy so I opted for ice tea. The staff here are all very friendly and attentive. The decor reminded me of Cape Cod, casual elegance. I felt like I was on vacation. I will definitely return here again! What an oasis! The views of the boats on the Marina was so nice. If you want to be closer to the Marina, downstairs there is outside seating. Thank you Barbie and Alex for the great service!

Thank you!

We had a fantastic experience at Baleen Kitchen in Redondo Beach! The ambiance was lovely with a view of the marina as well as the ‘Super Friends Sing-Along’, which added a fun touch. The special of the day, a short rib ossobuco by Chef Robbie, was absolutely delicious, and the prime rib steak with chimichurri sauce might be best chimichurri I’ve ever had(the steak was very on point). One small suggestion: the specials were given on a printout instead of being explained by the waiter like I’ve experienced in a lot of restaurants, so I almost missed out on it. Be sure to ask about them. I’m glad I tried it because it was phenomenal! Overall, a great dining experience. We enjoyed it w/ the fam and I saw what appeared to be quite a few folks on date night.

Eat at Joe's is a bustling, well-established diner that has been serving generous portions of classic American comfort food in a friendly and lively atmosphere for many years. Originally a small burger joint, it has grown into a popular eatery with picnic table-style seating and a warm ambiance. Founded by Joe Filkosky in 1969, this long-running establishment draws regular customers who appreciate the large servings of burgers, hot dogs, and daily specials like the Mad Dog made from previous day's leftovers.
Amazing. The best. The Denver omelette was HUGE, and stuffed with cheese. I shouldn't have eaten it all, but I did. I think the potatoes were fried in butter they were so flavorful. And, I could have eaten a loaf of the sourdough toast and the coffee was silky smooth. The prices were very reasonable. Nice job, Joes!

A local diner down in Redondo Beach. I am giving it a 4/5 because of the limited menu options and ambience especially in comparison to other famous diners in LA. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated for a Saturday brunch, but the wait was worth it. They have seating indoor and out, but we sat indoor for our meal. The service was actually really great and our server was extremely friendly and very quick with the refills. They don’t have a parking lot but street parking is fairly easy to find in this part of town. As mentioned the menu is fairly small and does not have a lot of of the classic dishes on it. I decided to go with the most popular dish, which is the John Wayne special and thought overall it was really good although the flavors kind of blend together with the sauce poured all over top. Overall we had a nice meal, but due to limited options I would categorize this as a spot for locals versus going out of your way for it.

This is our favorite place to eat breakfast in the south bay.. they have excellent staff/service, large portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. The coffee is top notch, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I prefer the Joe's Special but we have tried everything and you can't go wrong up and down the menu. They also offer lunch which everyone says is awesome too but even when I go at lunch time I still get breakfast. The ham steak they give you is the size of a compact car, and their pancakes are a huge hit. They have a parking lot in the back which can fill up a lot so you can find street parking nearby. When its busy you can get make some new friends and everyone here is always nice and friendly. This place is Redondo Beach.

Good Stuff - Redondo Beach is a delightful Californian-American café that serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an impressive array of options. Known for its fresh ingredients and under-600-calorie menu, this spot is a beloved South Bay classic where you can enjoy breakfast all day long! Diners rave about the perfect portion sizes at reasonable prices, making it easy to indulge in favorites like pancakes and freshly baked muffins.
Five Star for service! The staff were all wonderful, and greeted us up upon arrival. We didn't wait at all for a table around 1:30pm on a Saturday for lunch and requested indoors. Five Star for the atmosphere for casual American food. The decor is happy with a surf motive. The interior is welcoming and clean. Having a late lunch here was the perfect oasis after taking a long walk along the beach. I was craving a burger, as I know their burgers are really good, but there were so many other options such as the California Wrap, the Turkey Melt BLT, or the Steak Bowl. With help from Cailin ( our server), I chose the California Wrap with fries. My friend ordered the Steak Bowl. My California Wrap was very tasty and I took half home for later, as I was full with just the half. My friend's Steak Bowl was delicious, her steak was cooked exactly as she wanted, however, it looked like there was too much teriyaki dressing as the rice was swimming in sauce. She didn't say anything but if I order this dish for myself, I will ask for the teriyaki sauce, on the side. We could of ordered dessert, but we were both full and content with our lunch. Cailin was attentive and smiled as we asked her all our questions. In fact, the entire staff here work hard and well together. Dog friendly front patio seating. Wheelchair accessible seating. I wish there was a Good Stuff in Santa Monica, where I live. The casual atmosphere, the friendly staff and yummy food, all make me want to return to Good Stuff next time I am in this area. Well done! I know there are 3 more other locations in El Segundo, Palos Verdes and Hermosa Beach. I used to go to Good Stuff in West LA, decades ago. (On Olympic near Bundy, the original one) .The signage and interior of that location looks the same, but the ownership changed . I was tricked! GRRRRRR!!!! The West LA restaurant is not afflicted with this restaurant group. This one is called GOOD STUFF BURGERS, which is NOT ASSOCIATED with Good Stuff. I was confused and really disappointed when I went there recently because everything LOOKED the same, with the same murals on the wall, the surfboard, but the menu is totally different.

My daughter, doggie, and I had brunch on the patio at the Redondo Beach location yesterday. It was a wonderful experience! Yellow Vase is a charming spot that offers a mix of French and American cuisine, along with an array of baked goods and flowers. The cafe provides a unique experience where you can indulge in decadent pastries, aromatic coffee, and delightful breakfast and lunch options. While the food is good, some find it to be on the pricier side with smaller portions. However, the friendly service and quick food preparation make up for it.
Along the ”Riviera,” way - Santa Catalina - home to restaurants and boutiques in Redondo Beach, you will find this cute spot. Good indoor/outdoor options, cozy and a good breakfast spot. Up the block, Martha’s is a great choice too, a little more upscale. I ordered the caramelized apple French toast, along with the side of eggs and potatoes, and all was delicious.

Such a cute little gem of a place! The ambiance is really nice inside or out! Sat here with a friend in the afternoon on a Sunday, it was mildly busy with a study flow of people coming in. We didn't have to wait long to order, you make your order at the counter and then they will bring your food to you, it's not technically a full service restaurant. I loved the different little places to sit! The menu was fairly varied, I just wasn't very hungry and actually ordered off of the kids menu. The tea was good, but was somewhat of a small portion for an adult I felt. I would definitely bring other friends or family here!

I gave 4 stars overall because the prices are pretty high for a simple breakfast. It cost $80 for feeding 4 people. The food was great and service and atmosphere but price too hefty. The orange juice is not fresh squeezed but is concentrated the orange machine in the back is deceiving but there was no pulp at all in my juice. The caramelized apple French toast was good but the apples were not quite ripe. Jesus Christ Loves You!!!

Location: Okay, Parking: Good, Service: Okay, Price for food received: a bit high, Overall: First time at this chain Location and was surprised to see how long it took to get our sandwich with almost no customers in the restaurant. Sandwich was fine but surprised nothing else came with it . Would I come back not unless I truly needed to...

Cute place with basic American food! The baked goods are a bit pricey but the other food is a fairly standard price. They typically have very cute decorations as well! I had the pesto pasta which had flavorful chicken to complement the simple favors of pesto.

Comfortable waterfront diner offering standard American dishes, plus fishing pole rentals & bait.
My wife and I got the 1/2 lb of spicy garlic mussels which came with a couple slices of garlic toast and a lemon wedge for $20 and the fried clams with French fries and a bit of coleslaw and cocktail sauce for $13. There were about 20 mussels so we shared that and took home the clams and fries and air fryer reheated them for dinner. It was good and reasonably priced for the large amount of food, the quality, and the location so I’d recommend them. I’d ask to see the size of the food before you order, unlike what we did.

Wondered into this cafe prior to a cruise. Nice walk from our hotel. Great food, small indoor area!! It appeared there was seating outside. Will be back next time we are in town. Great atmosphere. Friendly crowd and staff! Walking distance to Redondo Beach Pier. Family owned.

Yea, this place hits the spot while being right in the center of Redondo Beach and only 2 blocks from the beach and pier! Love coming for some delicious steak and eggs here!! Family owned and nice outdoor seating. Highly recommend for local breakfast 🙌🏼😋

Lovely diner filled with locals. I got pancakes and eggs for $10 in 2025. Great value compared to ihop or norms. There are 3 seating areas: counter, front patio, and back patio. The place is bigger than it seems. Loads of free parking on side streets. Customer service was great too!

Found a local gem this morning! Cannot rave enough about this true “cozy” cafe. On the outside, which is being painted, it may not look like much, but it has a charm that breaks through the generic, modernistic, and want to be boutique eateries of the area. What others are trying to convey The Cozy Cafe brings to you on a plate with home style meals. The iconic mix of Greek-Hispanic flair made famous by California literary great Victor Villasenor resonates in this establishment! In the center of all the “fluff” of touristy Rendondo Beach fare, sit down at the horseshoe style countertop and have a great cup of Joe, good enough for any dock worker or fisherman. Order the Huevos Rancheros and be served a large plate of eggs, papas with onions, and a “Spanish sauce” that has a Mediterranean flair! Or order the Ham Steak and Eggs and have a meal fit for a sailor! The experience is like visiting a relative’s home, catching up on recent events, and having a great meal. Day 2: Had to return for another breakfast! Was greeted like a regular! Carlos and the Saturday Morning Crew was busy serving breakfast. I had the Chorizo con Huevos, what a great meal and yes with a stack of corn tortillas and side of chilies- I ate it all! The Crew kept my coffee cup filled with that brewed gold! Walking away I felt like leaving an old friend behind and will long for this place when I return home tomorrow.

Place was awesome. In town from Philly, walked in at 7:45. Owner and his family were sitting down for breakfast. Great people. I ordered to-go to bring back to the hotel. Food was ready in maybe 5 min, could have been sub 4. Owner is super friendly and clearly proud of his place and his family. Got back to the hotel and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the stuffed banana French toast, my fiance loved it too. Home fries were magnificent. Five stars all around. Love that guy and his spot.

Awesome little spot for some breakfast. We had the Greek Scramble and Banana Stuffed French Toast which were both delicious and huge portions. Super nice staff and “cozy” is the perfect adjective for this place. Would 100% come back for the Huevos Rancheros which looked amazing.

Nestled in the heart of the South Bay, Sacks OTB is a vibrant American café that has become a beloved local gem. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, this spot is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy delicious sandwiches, fresh salads, invigorating juices, and aromatic coffee. The menu boasts mouthwatering breakfast burritos and wraps that are sure to satisfy your cravings any time of day.
YUMMM! I have been on the hunt for delicious breakfast spots in the South Bay and I’m glad to say I’ll be returning! There was surprisingly no wait time during my visit (weekend brunch time) - I walked right up to the counter and was greeted by friendly staff who helped place my order right away. We grabbed a seat in the shade and waited approx. 5-7 mins before being served. Then we got to indulge in these savory breakfast wraps (see photo). There are 1 or 2 tables outside where you can catch a glimpse of the ocean if you care about that. I have to say I’m impressed and can see why it’s a local favorite! Side note: If you care about spice level, the Verde sauce that came on the side seemed relatively mild.

Nice little restaurant with nice atmosphere with a nice beach view...a couple of blocks away. They have plenty of nice outdoor patio seating as well as inside seating. The menu has lots of options. The staff is friendly. I found the food to be bland. Portions are a bit small fit the price.

Basic food: we had tow omelette options (one with pan cakes). The lady cooking and serving was very rude. It’s our first time in LA and this was the worst experience (or even the only) about the place so far. Also she gave the kid green tea instead of black and sausages instead of bacon likely because of talking too much on the phone.

Sacks is a local institution and everyone loves this spot. They have amazing breakfast burritos, wraps, killer sammies, smoothies, coffee and pretty much everything you could ever need for breakfast, lunch, or a healthy refresher to take to the beach or on a walk. And the people here are super nice, the cook always smiles and is really friendly.. the store just has a great vibe. They have patio seating with an ocean view where locals love to chill and snack. Even their side dishes are home made and delicious.. the quinoa salad is a nice healthy option and oh so good. They also have plenty of salads and vegetarian choices on the menu. The best part here is the prices.. they seem to have missed all the inflation and constant increases because their prices remain super reasonable. Whatever you order here it is always made fresh to order and comes out piping hot, cheese perfectly melted, looking and tasting fantastic. The location is right on the corner of Ave I and Catalina NW corner. Ideal spot to grab some lunch to take to the beach.

Visitors rave about the unbelievably good gluten-free treats and the wonderful variety of offerings including vegan cookies and seasonal specialties for Easter.
This place is a hidden gem. This is a gluten free bakery and they also sell sandwiches. We ordered turkey avocado panini, original melt and green apple tart. Oh my god. Their bread is so good. Usually panini bread is too hard/ burnt but their panini has good texture and flavor. The original melt is very tasty too. The green apple tart not so sour/ sweet. The flavor is balanced. Will definitely come back soon.

I’ve been gluten free for sometime now and I have never had such amazing delicious food!! The croissant tasted like the (glutinous) ones I remember! I was ecstatic to see all of the choices!! My hubby isn’t GF, but he ate there too and said it was really tasty! This is a real GEM!!

I have Celiac Disease and this bakery is 100 % gluten free. I was already so happy about that. Then when I ordered the turkey avocado panini on vegan bread, may I say: It was the BEST turkey sandwich I’ve ever had in my life!!!. I am back to NY and still craving that sandwich. If you live there , YOU are lucky, if you are visiting, go there couple to times to eat. I was there for a short time and wish I could have gone to this shop to eat more often. Just know they are not fully DF so if you are, ask for the vegan bread and it is delicious

Very expensive. Tuna sandwich was $16. Didn’t come with any sides like chips , just one pickle the size of a toddler’s pinky. Had to ration bites to prolong the experience. The food was good , but was overpriced. The sandwich plus the iced latte was $30 after sales tax and tip tax. On top of that . Please explain the added .95 cents for oat or almond milk. Oat milk costs the same as regular. So I’m confused by the up charge. Will not be returning anytime soon or ever.

Rare hidden gem! Found this Gluten Free bakery on Google that was "Top Rated" It's absolutely true! Upon entering we were greeted by super hospitable staff. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Very tranquil. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. They have lots of incredibly yummy food options on their menu up on the wall. There are savory options such as sandwiches, and paninis. All their ingredients are fresh and healthy. As for sweets, they have two large refrigerated glass display cases. Unfortunately, many items were sold out by the time we arrived 40 min before they closed. Luckily, there were lots of remaining delicious options to choose from. They also have a large drink selection. Including different varieties of tea and coffee. Hot and cold. We ordered the Turkey Pesto and Turmeric Chicken paninis. Both were very flavorful. Portions are good. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. We also got the Strawberry cheesecake. It was good but the texture was a bit grainy. Overall, it's a great cafe that I'm sure to visit again. Strongly recommend!

What a great place! Sandwiches had a ton of flavor and the bread was awesome. Had the cinnamon roll and went crazy for it. Just a slightly different style due to being gluten free but it was great and hit all the spots for a nice sweet treat. Loved the icing. Next time. Trying the Donuts and cookies!

All gluten free desserts! The most popular pastry is the Almond Brioche, it was delicious and different, made with rice flour, served slightly warm and moist inside. We like it that it’s not overly sweet. For coffee, we ordered a large mocha, it’s on the smaller side, but it’s wonderful and also not overly sweet. The service was prompt and friendly. Environment was clean and relaxing. Outdoor seating is a plus, especially for dog-owners.

3rd different whole cake bought from this place. Got the whole chocolate cake this time. There is very thin breading layer and the rest is mostly chocolate whip and icing. The sliced cake picture on website can be a bit deceiving due to the reflection of the bottom layer. Also cake box is very thin so be careful to hold the bottom as it’s not supported. Overall it was easy to place order through the phone and customer service was nice.

At Rod's Char-broiler, a customer ordered a Pastrami sandwich without a combo option. Unfortunately, the sandwich was small and not generously topped with Pastrami, resulting in an undesirable mushy texture and smoky flavor. On the bright side, the freshly cooked chili cheese French fries were seasoned just right, although they lacked sufficient cheese coverage. Despite this flaw, the customer thoroughly enjoyed the chili cheese fries.
I know you won’t believe me, but this is the ABSOLUTE BEST grilled chicken breast sandwich I have ever eaten! I have eaten thousands over the years and if you follow my reviews, you know that. The meat was juicy and tender. Melt-in-your-mouth goodness. OMG! I can’t wait to have another! Why can’t the big chains make them this good?

It has gone through remodel before it was a bright yellow, now it has a monochrome color, there is a lot of space before it had booths, which gave it a nice comfort vibe. I have been going there for years with family, and the owner knows us. He's a really nice person to speak to.

Ok, so we ordered a Pastrami sandwich (they didn't have a combo for it), an order of Zucchini, and chili cheese French fries... the Pastrami sandwich was small, not packed on at all. The Pastrami had a weird mushy consistency and a smoked taste. I didn't like it at all. The French fries were fresh cooked to order they had just enough seasoning on them, and the chili was good they didn't put enough cheese, and I had to spread the cheese around over them. However, over I loved the chili cheese fries. The Zucchini was fresh. I could have used a little more season, but it was still good. I would order that again . Oh, I also ordered a chocolate chip, chocolate chunk cookie 🍪 they looked bomb, but mine was super crispy, not soft at all. I didn't take a picture of the cookie
Toya T — Google review
I tried a chili burger, avocado and bacon burger, and double cheeseburger. Let's start with the bad, the chili burger is a let down. A place should really keep cheap can tasting chili off of the menu. It is a 1 star burger. The avocado bacon burger gets 4.5 stars, I would have it again and again. The double is just that, double the meat. They are otherwise basic burgers. They also serve Mexican food as well. The chocolate chunk cookie is basic, unfortunately. Best I could tell, they do not want people to stay and eat as the seating and inside atmosphere was not inviting. I did get the food to go. I would go back if I was hungry and wanted something close by, as it is within walking distance for me. However, it will not be a destination for me.

Nestled in a charming strip mall, Moon Donuts is a delightful little donut shop that offers an array of classic treats alongside coffee, tea, and bagels. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to indulge in their delicious offerings. One standout item is the blueberry cheesecake donut—it's not overly sweet and features real blueberries with a delightful cheesecake topping.
Moon donuts is so great. The place is cute, not large. It is very clean and parking is easy and free. It is located in Redondo Beach which is a lovely area. We were going to have lunch after getting donuts to go, but their food looked so good we stayed there and ate inside--still taking our dozen home. The food is so much better than any donut shop I have been to. We decided to get several things and share. We had a bacon, omelet and cheese croissant and the croissant was perfect. It was light and fluffy and freshly made. The egg omelet and bacon were perfect. We loved their egg, hash browns and cheese burrito. It was so yummy. Their sausage, egg and cheese bagel was on a fresh egg bagel and was ever so good. We all had coffee which also was great. I never thought I would find such a great lunch at a donut shop. Their donuts are so good. They have a huge selection and if you order in advance you can have them make Happy Birthday donuts with the name spelled out on several donuts or whatever you want. It is such a great idea. I don't care for fritters, but my grandson does and he declared this the best fritter he ever had. Their glazed donuts are soft and fresh. They also make some of the cutest donuts with little animals on them and you can even get frosted cheerios on a donut. They also have all the donuts you would expect at any good donut shop. The service is really nice and they get your food order right the first time. We will be back.

I went to Moon Donuts last night and even though it was 9 ’o clock at night the donuts were soft and fresh. I picked out a dozen and a half and these were delicious. The assortment was overwhelming and it was difficult to choose, but they had my favorites. Fresh donuts abd hot coffee t might are a good thing. This place is in a mini strips mall with minimal parking. The lady was very friendly and helped me figure out a future visit for their special “Birthday Donuts”. This is your standard donut shop, no special decor, but the donuts are what you come for.

What a great donut shop! It's conveniently located right along the side of the road, so you can just pull up into the 30-minute parking zone, walk in, grab your donuts, and be on your way, no hassle. They also have regular parking if you need it. The donuts are delicious and affordable, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. What really makes this place stand out is that it opens at 4am! I’m sure there are others that open early too, but this is the only one I know and they've been doing it for the past 30+ years. That kind of dedication definitely deserves 5 stars :D!

Loved the donuts and flavors offered. I tried the regular glazed donut first hands down the best so you know everything else will be great. But I do believe the traditional glaze was my favorite. The Nutella Cronuts were so good too! We didn’t have one don’t we didn’t like. My son loved the strawberry cheesecake. My husband liked the house special. Anything you have will be fantastic. Only thing I would make change is the chocolate glaze is too thin. But still tasty.

Starbucks, the iconic coffeehouse chain hailing from Seattle, is a go-to spot for many coffee enthusiasts seeking their daily caffeine fix. Known for its signature roasts and light snacks, it also offers WiFi to keep you connected while you sip your favorite brew. While experiences can vary, some visitors have found the ambiance lacking in decor and vibrancy.
On 02nd April evening, we enjoyed our time here. We, couple, had Mocha, Carmel Macchiato, Choclate Croissant and Cheese Danish. These was good option for us considering we are vegetarians. Sad to report this but my 16 year old daughter was asked to leave because she had been there without making a purchase. As loyal Starbuck fans we spend an embarrassing amount of money here. In fact, most of it at this location. Our daughter comes to this location quite often to study. Sometimes she makes a purchase and sometimes she doesn’t. Today she did not. Because of this, she was asked to leave! She felt targeted! When I called to speak to a manager I was given no type of apology or even a word of kindness. I was told if you don’t purchase anything you are not allowed to stay in the store or even on their patio! My daughter is not a trouble maker! She is a quiet, well mannered 16 year old young lady. It’s sad that this world of consumerism as no sense of the word CUSTOMER SERVICE! We will never give our money to a place that is ok with treating people rudely!
Malissa P — Google review
The morning cashier at this Starbucks is the epitome of pettiness and the overall bad vibes! You're never greeted, and it always feels like they’re doing you a favor just by serving you. The coffee tastes awful, and if you bring your own clean cup for a refill, they treat it like it’s contaminated. To top it off, they refuse to fill a 12 oz cup because they claim 2 oz must be left for milk—seriously? Can’t wait to see a “For Lease” sign up soon.
Krabapple — Google review
Even though I told the barista that I am a recurring, regular customer to this Riviera Village location (at least weekly), she would not let me use the restroom, claiming "out of respect for the paying customers, we cannot allow you to use the restroom if you're not going to purchase anything today." The place had 2 other people in it and it was 7:30pm. Well, I had to pee after a long drive, and I had asked very humbly and couldn't wait any longer, so I promised to buy something on my way out, if I could please use the restroom. She forced me to BEG, even though it was apparent I didn't want to buy anything at that moment. The very unfriendly, unkind, and control-freak barista finally gave me the secret code to unlock the toilet. When I was done, I could have walked straight out, since not one of the 3 baristas in sight was paying any attention, but being an honest person, and having promised under duress, I went to the counter, and the barista acted like she'd never seen me before. I reluctantly bought a beverage only because I was desperate to use the toilet and was forced to promise to purchase something if she'd let me use her toilet for 2 mins., in the practically empty place. Very disappointing. Very good location, very terrible service, treatment, and behavior. I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 yrs, and this was the worst, inhumane treatment of any customer I have ever endured, at any of the many Starbucks I have been a patron. Also, whenever I pick up something from this location, mobile order or in person, they take FOREVER to make a drink (sometimes 10-15 mins.), while they chat, gossip, and entertain one another, even when they're not too busy, but I always just overlooked it due to the convenient location. Sad. I'll go to the more inconvenient location next time, since I feel so humiliated and belittled by the treatment here. Disgusting!

NOT A POSITIVE VIBE.... This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion: I went to this Coffee shop on Sunday afternoon, November the 7th, and it was my first time. FOOD/DRINK: I ordered a Latte and it was just ok, not an intense coffee taste and they did not use whole milk as I like it. just ok. STAFF: The guy that got my order was nice, helpful and friendly, and was quick. PLACE: I did not like the place at all.... no décor or colors inside, the all place is dry and looks sad. It was a Sunday afternoon and there was not much lighting inside, so, kind of dark and "unhappy". They still have the Covid-19 configuration so you cannot sit inside. They have a pickup spot but it is not used. They still call you and wait for you to go and hand you over the drink. They have tables and benches right outside and it's a covered area so that if it rains you wont get wet, or if it is too sunny you might still have some shade. LOCATION: is in Redondo beach and it's literally walking distance from the beach, which is a super plus. surrounded by many restaurants and other shops, and on specific days it is just across the street from the Flea market. so, great location (that's why my 5 stars). CLEANLINESS: The whole place was clean and neat, outside less clean. CONCLUSIONS: I've seen way better Starbucks and this is definitely not one I would happily go back to.

Classic Burger in Redondo Beach is a charming neighborhood gem that offers a delightful mix of breakfast options, mouthwatering burgers, and an intriguing selection of Mexican and Asian dishes. This variety adds a refreshing twist to the usual burger fare. Many patrons rave about the steak sandwich and the standout breakfast burrito, all at reasonable prices. With ample free parking available both in the center lot and along Torrance Blvd, it's easy to stop by for a meal.
We visited this place for the first time (to be honest, why haven't we???) When entering this place, you will be greeted by a wonderful korean lady. And then there are menus right above you. We really wanted burger and of course when you crave for a burger, classic double cheese burger is the way to go. In fact, all burger places should be judged by their quality of cheese burger. I must admit, this place's cheese burger is DEFINITELY one of the best burger I have ever tasted. In fact, there weren't nothing special. No special sauce, no special buns, no special patty. It was straightforward and honest cheese burger. And why is it so good, you ask? It's the cleanness of the burger. Such classic burger (like the name says it) really had me. Every bite was juicy and smooth. Their lettuce was fresh and crisp. Fries were newly cook and hot. Overall experience was very impressive. Most importantly, cheese burger was definitely on point!!! Will visit again!

Great little neighborhood spot with good breakfast, excellent burgers, and some Mexican as well as Asian selections which are great options to add variety to the typical burgers and chili fries. I personally love the steak sandwich and they make an excellent breakfast burrito. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of free parking in the center lot or street parking on Torrance Blvd. They also continuously post specials and bundles which they really discount to provide a nice savings. The guys who work here are really nice and I have seen them clean at the end of the night and they do a great job. I have eaten here so many times I can't count... no fancy, not expensive.. honest tasty food quickly and affordable. Highly recommended.

Outstanding pastrami cheeseburger it was so big I couldn't finish it. My son had the double burger and fries combo. He said it was great.
Brad E — Google review
I heard the combo breakfast burrito is good here. Had the right ratio of bacon, sausage, cheese, eggs, and breakfast potatoes. It was good (not great) but what made it stand out is the spicy sauce that came with it. Took it to the next level!

One of the cooks want to serve us someone else’s meal and when we told them this not ours. He wants to say it’s our fault we said yes that it is. Customer service needs to be practice here. Will be the last time I bring my family here.

When I called in my order it was such bad quality reception and communication that I thought I had called back into time straight to a WW2 battle radio signal. Absolute chaos and suffering. I just had to pray they heard my order correctly. I walked inside and had to wait a while. I think they need another staff person. But who doesn’t these days? The two guys were working their butts off, but all the customers had to wait extra long for their food. Burger was delicious, fries were cold. Outside seating spot seemed nice. I’d go back to give it another try.

Who ever made the chili today 1-22-24 it wasn’t it, tasted really sweet like spaghetti sauce, had it a few times before and I really liked it but not today. hopefully next time it’s back to how it was 🤞

Food: It's named Classic Burger but don't let that fool you: the place has a 5-paneled menu that ranges from breakfast omelettes to shrimp platters, fried mushrooms and horchata. The bacon cheeseburgers are delicious and huge while the sides of fries and onion rings can seriously feed a family of four. The portions are pretty massive and it's a good place if you're hungry and you don't want to spend a lot. Overall: This isn't really a place for a romantic date night for two, but if you're in the mood for a whopping amount of food to take home and munch on while you're watching the game in your comfy pajamas, then this is the place for you.

McDonald's, a well-established and enduring fast-food franchise recognized for its delectable hamburgers and crispy fries, is widely renowned. While not everyone's top choice, it fulfills the purpose of a quick meal when one desires an impromptu fix from McDonald's. Currently, they offer trendy straws that are quite impressive. They have recently introduced the finest deluxe chicken sandwich ever served by McDonald's.
This is the best McDonald's I've ever been to! I have never seen fresh flowers in vases at any McDonald's in my entire life until now. And everything is clean and organized I think it's a newly built place! Also the environment is very pleasant with soothing music and customers that seem to be students. five stars!

So came here before I hit the beach with my beach stuff. It’s like 6:40 am. The manager asks me to leave my stuff outside. I’d swallow glass before I’m putting my stuff outside that I carry. Very rude and just because you smile doesn’t make you evil. When he comes up a serial killer I won’t be surprised

Rockefeller in Redondo Beach is a vibrant gastropub that perfectly blends modern and rustic aesthetics, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. Whether you're looking to enjoy a casual lunch or unwind with live music in their inviting backyard, this venue has you covered. The front patio offers excellent people-watching opportunities, especially during busy hours.
Rockefeller is our go to spot for anything from a working lunch meeting to watching live music in their backyard area.. there is another great people watching patio in the front which can fill up fast during peak times. The menu is perfect for the beach as they have some lighter options and some guilty pleasures and everything in between. They have one of the best fish and chips, great tacos, burgers and they make a great steak sandwich. The mac and cheese, fried chicken sandwich are both great. They have happy hour and a very popular rotating burger of the month special. The service here is always on point.. the staff is very friendly and efficient.. you are never left waiting for help... the entire staff will jump in and help even if you aren't their table. Overall, food, service, location, great vibes.. you really can't go wrong here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Casual fun atmosphere with solid food and good people.

Great little gem hidden in Redondo Beach. Nice crowd and delicious food. Lovely stuff, that is always here to help. We came in a small company, three of us had burgers and one person fish tacos and fries. Loved the food and overall vibes. Place is usually packed, so need to make a reservation or come early.

Where business meets brisket… and cocktails. Had an amazing time at Rockefeller with an incredible new crew of networking friends—and let me just say, this spot is built for social media girlboss energy. From the effortlessly cool vibe to the flawless service, it was the perfect backdrop for business chats that flowed as smoothly as the cocktails. Speaking of cocktails… yes, please. And don’t even get me started on the brisket tacos—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-convo and moan just a little. Rockefeller is a regular local favorite for a reason. Whether you’re in work mode, flirt mode, or foodie mode—this place delivers every time. I’ll absolutely be back.

I can’t imagine this place in a busy night. There were literally 10 tables with patrons and 15 without. The service was awful. We ordered and out appetizer came out immediately (like 5 minutes). Our dinner took close to 30 minutes, and I had to get up to ask the server for my cocktail. She stated, “oh, he’s making it now.” Again, the place was not even busy, to take 35 minutes to make a drink. We had our meal, before I got my cocktail. We asked for salt, pepper for my warm salad, and condiments for my husband’s burger. We asked the person who delivered our plates. She enthusiastically said sure, then never came back. I had to get up to ask our server and she did get the items. She never stopped once to see how we are doing, how we’re enjoying our meal or even if we need anything. Horrible service. The atmosphere is great. I loved the decor. But we will never be back.

The area in general is pay for parking. This restaurant seems to be busy all the time. We made reservations and was able to be seated right away. The service is very slow. The mac and cheese was delicious. The mimosa was not good. Chicken and waffles was mediocre. Steak salad was good and pork belly benedict was also good.
Hang N — Google review
I was not in any way impressed or satisfied with the quality of food. F-. Wendy's/Habit burger is better. Subpar French fries, bacon must be frozen and microwaved. Fish and chips was a notch above pathetic. Cesar salad worst I've ever had. Steak was mediocre at best. Really not acceptable at these prices or location. Brings the reputation of quality in the area down. Do better.

There are lots of choices for restaurants and bars in the Riviera Village, but if you haven't tried Rockefeller, it's well worth the visit. The staff were great (very pleasant and accommodating), food was good and we ate outside by a patio heater in a nice green space area. It was busy and parking can be tough as with all locations in this area, but we had a great evening. Oh yeah.....and the curry sweet potato bites stole the show....a must try!

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, Starbucks has become a beloved coffeehouse chain that offers not just signature roasts but also light bites and complimentary WiFi for those on the go. While opinions may vary, many patrons appreciate the consistently good quality of coffee and friendly baristas who often go above and beyond to enhance your experience. The convenience of mobile orders makes it easier to grab your favorite drink without waiting in line, although seating can be limited along with parking options.

If you’re going to be reputable business, at least update your operating hours with more than just a hand written closed sign. How ridiculous. This right here is a business that doesn’t care about its customers enough to even update the app so people don’t place online orders. Amateur hour.

I will always give Starbucks the same rating, it's a well managed business with " mostly " good employees ( I will go out of my way to mention the ones that shouldn't be an employee, but ) The coffee is consistently slightly above average, my wife likes it, it's ok for me, they need a light roast. This Starbucks was good.

As of December 2023, their new staff is some of the slowest baristas I have ever experienced in my entire life - and I go to Starbucks usually 3 days a week. Nestled in the heart of Southern California, Klatch Coffee Redondo is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. With over three decades of experience, this family-owned gem has mastered the art of roasting premium beans right on-site. The inviting lounge boasts a modern aesthetic with wooden floors, marble tables, and ample natural light streaming through large windows—creating an ideal atmosphere for both work and relaxation.
They have a very simple and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have had their Lavender Latte, Iced Crème Brûlée, and their Eye Opener. Their muffins baked fresh out of the oven are the best. They’ve become one of my top spots to frequent when I’m in the area.

I recently moved to the area and was happy to find Klatch! The atmosphere is great to get some work done and enjoy a delicious coffee and snack. I like that there isn’t a pretentious vibe and every time I’ve come here the employees have been very kind and helpful. Today I got an iced vanilla latte and turkey club sandwich. Love that they don’t charge extra for oat milk ❤️

We were sad when Chronic Taco closed but we are so happy to have Klatch Coffee in this location connected to CVS at PCH and Torrance Blvd.. plenty of parking in the CVS lot. For fall Klatch has a line of pumpkin drinks that are amazing. The food here is really good.. and the prices are crazy affordable compared to even fast food.. breakfast sandwiches are 5 to 7 bucks and way better than other coffee chains... this is real food and they have real cooks there making it fresh. And the service here is always great.. friendly and fast and they also keep the store super clean. Klatch Coffee is a great spot to grab a quick breakfast for drink on the go at an outstanding value. There is some outdoor seating near the front door.

My wife and I visit Klatch every time we are here visiting family. My go-to drink is the iced mocha; It has the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate. We’ve had the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious and a step up from the chain coffee food options. This is one of our favorite parts about visiting the family.

The green tea tastes like perfume and the baristas have disgusting bacteria hoarding acrylic nails!! The matcha was good tho. Their passion tea was gross. Never coming back here 💟
A V — Google review
Yes, another coffee review! Haha, Klatch Coffee is located on the corner of Torrance and PCH in Redondo Beach. There is really no way it can be missed. For me, the place wasn’t very inviting and neither was the staff. The ambiance was very dull and lifeless. The aesthetic seemed outdated and it just felt old to me. There was no “oompf”. Hubby and I got iced vanilla lattes and a treat. The drink was too sweet for my liking and my muffin was very stale. I’m always happy to find and try new spots. Even though my experience wasn’t the best, I’m glad to have tried it and cross it off the list.
Darlene D — Google review
Honestly it’s good coffee I would recommend if you’re looking for a new place to try. It has great seating indoor and outdoor. I just wish the baristas are a little nicer to make the experience that much more. I asked for a espresso shot over ice with half and half and the barista kept insisting that it’s a latte. A base of a latte is steamed milk and I told her that and she said no. 2 shots of espresso over ice and a splash of half and half isn’t a latte. It’s just the fact that she was pressing it came off so rude.
D — Google review
The vibe was chill and positive. Daniel worked the AM shift and he was so amazing and friendly. First time trying Klatch coffee and it was AMAZING. Decent prices, not over priced at all. I had the creme brulee hot latte. I'm from Vegas and each time I'm in California I will make it a point to find a Klatch to go to. Yummy and workers are friendly and inviting. Daniel even checked on us while we were sitting outside.

Nestled in the heart of the South Bay, Copper Pot Indian Grill is a delightful culinary gem that has quickly become a favorite among locals. The food was so good. Flavorful, everything was clearly marked gluten free, the lima soda is out of this world amazing, the service was helpful and kind. I would absolutely recommend this place to any and everyone. I already can't wait to come back!
Jenn P — Google review
This place was interesting. Came here with a large group (8 people). The staff was very nice and very attentive (a little too attentive). We ordered our drinks and in multiple instances, they either forgot or misremebered or didn't get our drinks right. We had one server, then it was switched and it was very confusing. The food ordering was also chaotic. We distinctly asked for saag paneer..and thought we confirmed it with the host only to find out it was never ordered and we had to put in another order which added more wait time The highlights was the lamb vindaloo, very excellent. The rest was decent. The garlic naan was good and the overall dishes were good including the lamb biryani. The service was overall inconsistent, confusing and sometimes overbearing. They kept trying to take out plates when we still had food coming to the table. Like why would you try and take it when we have food coming? At least check with the waiter to know if we're done with our orders. I understood the intention to clean and take our plates but when we didn't even get all our food and being asked or almost having our silverware taken is kind of a bit annoying. Overall the experience was a bit underwhelming. If the service was better and consistent. I think I'd recommend this place. But for now it made me feel a bit apprehensive.
Jimmy S — Google review
From my friends and family I have heard that this place gets very busy and getting orders takes really long time. To avoid all this, I went on the least busy day "Monday". This was my first visit here. It was a big party and we ordered several dishes. Sambar Idly, Chicken Tikka, Chole Bhature in starters and in full course we got saag paneer, chettinad kofta curry, chole bhature again and garlic, butter naan. I would not order sambar idly again if I end up here. Sambar tasted like daal, missing salt instead of sambar. My group said that chicken was uncooked in Chicken Tikka. The curries tasted ok, saag turned out to be spicy and chettinad sweet. The highlight of our meal was chole bhature. Among all these, they tasted the best. If you are here I would recommend trying them out. When my group member mentioned this to our server that chicken was raw in tikka, the server got defensive. He said this is how they make it and from the color of the dish it looks cooked. We decided to drop the matter there. It's a big place with comfortable seating. Overall the ambience is nice. My expectations of great food were not met.

I’ve had the food here before and it’s fine, but a couple weeks ago I ordered online, and the order was accepted despite the restaurant being closed for maintenance. I only found this out when I got to the restaurant an hour later to pick up my meal and doors were locked. Called that night and was told I would be refunded. Called again a day or two later when I didn’t see a refund and was told I’d be refunded. Still haven’t been refunded two weeks later. Will not be going back.

There is no star that this food deserves. We ordered a dish Aalu Gobi Methi which was nothing like that of the pic . The food arrived more than 2 hours late and was salt less , taste less and undercooked… it was full of spice ( not the delicious kind )…. And needless to say the food was cold .. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times and the phone cannot be reached .. please don’t waste ur money here !!! Scam
Tushar M — Google review
Food is great. Service is very slow. Also very smoky in there today, feels like the kitchen smoke is in the restaurant… one thing very special is that they have a complete vegan menu, even the butter used which cooking the food is plant-based. This is a new concept in Indian restaurants, kudos to this restaurant for taking this step.

I’m new to the area and came across Copper Pot a few months ago. I love coming here! The staff feels like family. They always welcome me with a smile. I’m vegetarian and there is a good selection. Great experience. Came in for a bakery item and walked out with a drink and bakery. Clean and welcoming, the cafe is well stocked and warm. Super disappointed 😞 after visiting the drive thru and arriving at home we tasted our drinks and they were not made correctly. We frequent other coffee beans in the area and our drinks are always delicious, but this one is right around the corner. Every time our drink seems to be off. But I keep giving them the Benefit of a doubt. We called to let them know and to see if our drinks could be re-made. The person whom I'm spoke to wasn't the nicest and kept talking over me but said ok come back and I'll make them correctly. We go back and a young lady gave us our drinks and a $5 gift card (super nice) BUT Drinks were the exact same. They just don't seem to know how to make an iced matcha with a heaping scoop of power. The drinks taste like straight milk and very faint green color. Sorry for the long review but it's at this point I'm just gonna take my business elsewhere 🙃

Great location to grab a cup of coffee & better yet to charge your EV (electric vehicle). Too bad there’s only one EV charger, should of been at least 5 chargers when they did the plans (blueprints before construction). Luckily I arrived at 12AM on a Sunday, so no one here 👍🏼 I also noticed at rush hour at this particular location you can’t get close to the charger because of ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles blocking the charger thus should of been 5 chargers to prevent this issue. Hopefully Starbucks adds more in the future as they build new locations.

AMAZZZING!! 💫YUMMY!!!😋 Had to round it out w/ water & straight iced coffee. Made just as ordered! That's 3 for 3!!! Had to top off the 😺. It's super clean, as if no coffee in hand it's a mop. The chairs are comfy, a few plugs, cute girls giggling over drinks & homework, college students, etc. giving a vibrancy of joy. Exactly the way a Starbucks should be! Kudos to the top decision makers at this location! After several recent really horrible experiences this was a breath of fresh air like coming home. Song Jiang China & this location are my favourites!

I ordered via Uber Eats. My food came super early and I got a free cake pop and pumpkin scone with my order. It was also packaged nicely. Thanks to whoever put those extra snacks in there! (P.S you have a pretty writing)

Cafe
The Great Room Cafe, established in November 2016, is a vibrant social hub in Redondo Beach catering to local South Bay families. It offers a relaxed setting with dedicated playrooms for all ages and a lounge and dining area for delightful meals and drinks. The cafe prides itself on great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Customers rave about the amazing and fresh food options as well as the top-notch service provided by the super-friendly staff.
Love the idea of the place - cafe and playroom from kids. However, the playroom is for kids 5 years and up. Food is decent but pricing is amazing, reasonably priced. For example, smoothie is $5 and coffee is $3. The interior is a bit dark and not kid friendly. Yet, love the comfortable couches around the place.

Our family had dinner here yesterday and we were so impressed. First time here, it's family friendly, ample room, and parking. We were all very satisfied with the food, it came out of the kitchen quickly. I had the bacon burger with sweet potato fries, so savory! Then a vanilla latte to go. We'll definitely be back to try different plates, and dessert. There is some seating outside too
Marisol K — Google review
Great food! A little warm on the inside. Sad they are closing in a few days. Despite that, staff was very pleasant and brought drinks/food/condiments to the table. Best of luck to the staff and owners!

We discovered a nice place and stopped by for a drink and some relaxation this time. I had a soy latte, which was good. The space was spacious and perfect for unwinding. They also had a food menu, and I’d love to come back to try some dishes and chat with friends.

Had the steak sandwich with sweet potatoes and ot was OK. Can't complain, the prices here are so low compared to all the restaurants. Nice chill 0lace to hang out. Cool game room for the kids in the back. But one lady was too comfy here. She took off her shoes and kicked up her bare feet on the couch while she was reading her book. And the poor worker is way overwhelmed with everything. He was doing the job of 4 people. People didn't want to wait so they left because the kid was too busy from taking orders, making coffee, serving food, cleaning up after people, and taking care of all the online orders.
David A — Google review
It took almost a hour to get a single order out. The staff is incredibly unorganized and aimless. The manager will watch her employees struggle and won't step in. The quality of the food leaves very much to be desired, that is if they manage to get your order right. The barista not even the server gave us the wrong order as well. If you're looking for a place to just hang around and mingle this is a good spot. If you want not so decent food and bare basic service this is also the spot!

Came here for a baby shower and was able to enjoy this place with some great service and entertainment that they provide. They have their own parking lot, so when you park it should be quite easy to get inside. Once you go inside, you are immersed in an open room with different parts that is separated for ordering, dining, and lounging. If you go further inside, they have additional rooms that is an activity room for kids, and another room that is for people to host parties. Food I was able to try some of the food that came with the party, the fried chicken, the pasta stood out to me. It was nice that they had juice, soda, utensils and all the food ready for the guests to enjoy. Just wish that their plates weren’t so flimsy. Activity Room This room had so many things, ping pong table, to computers to play video games, to a huge connect 4, to even small arcade machines to play classic games like street fighter. There was just a few devices that wasn’t working. Like I mentioned the staff were really nice, and I really don’t have anything to complain about this place. They also had a bit of an outside but I wasn’t able to experience that. If only a place like this exists towards San Bernardino. Until next time!

We brought our granddaughter for lunch today Sunday. New owners now, we use to love this place. We ordered Protein Omlette which was half the size as before the previous owners. Coffee was filled 2/3 the way less than before. Prices have gone up. Disregard the photos you see online much smaller portions. Sad We loved this place before.

I am a regular customer, and today I experienced significant disappointment. Upon entering, I was not greeted, prompting me to ring the bell for assistance. The staff member who usually prepares our sandwiches and milkshakes did not appear to be in a good mood today. When I inquired about ordering sandwiches, he informed me that they were not available. I then requested a milkshake, but he also declined, stating that he was not making any milkshakes today. As a result, our only option was donuts.
Jannet S — Google review
The place looks fine, and the menu options seem appealing, but the actual food doesn’t match the description. It is not tasty, and in the burrito called ‘bacon burrito,’ there is almost no bacon—it’s nearly invisible. The price I was charged was 40% higher than what was posted on the menu, and the person at the counter didn’t understand my questions, responding inappropriately to everything I said.
Michael I — Google review
I came in at noon on a Wednesday and was the only person in the store. It’s 2025 and they still charged me $.99 to use my card because I bought less than $10 with of stuff. So my donut, which likely cost them about 50 cents to make, cost $4. I know the price of everything is going up but that’s just ridiculous and there are much better options in the area. Judging by their horrible Google rating, it seems like this place needs to start rethinking how they approach business. They also told me I wasn’t able to bring my dog in, and any place that does that will never see me again (except Costco, because it’s Costco… but I kind of hate them for that too lol)

We took a quick detour on our way. It was 12:00 pm only one worker. Thank you Pedro for your service. He was quick and very welcoming.

Went at night to get the delicious Oreo milkshake but something tells me that they didn’t want to use the blender so that they wouldn’t have to clean it🤔idk.

don’t come here prices are way to high one combo of a cream and cheese croissant with a donut and ice coffee for $14.24 way to much for what it is the combo is 10.29 and they add $3.00 extra for a cold 20 oz coffee is ridiculous 😔

Great cafe! The food is so fresh and delicious!!! The staff was very helpful and accommodating! They have great merchandise as well! Beautiful art on the walls! If you have not visited this place give it a try! Everything is made with love!!! I guarantee you will come back! Overall…more than 10 stars!!!

Nice, clean, simple atmosphere appropriate for the type of restaurant. Has outdoor sitting in the back. Got the Chicken Pesto Panini - it is made with regular bread though, not ciabatta or focaccia bread. Had decent flavor. Comes with a side, I chose the tomatoe bisque. Meal was good and will probably get again. I ordered to go. The brownies looked good but didn't get.

I've been following their inspiring Instagram stories. I was excited to visit their cafe. They have a big outdoor patio n large indoor seating. Along with a merchandise area. There is a wonderful pastry/bakery display at the register. Their menu has breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, kids, selections. My husband had the chicken pesto panini w/salad, comes with your choice of side dish. I had the turkey bacon club sandwich w/tomato soup side n iced tea. I got a box of baked goods for my cardiac rehab gym team. The food was delicious n service was quick n friendly. They hire n train learning challenged/disabled people. A meal with a loving purpose. I highly recommend this great cafe 10 out of 10 rating. Give their Instagram page a like 👍

This non-profit radiates super good vibes and outstanding customer service! They do incredible work helping individuals with developmental delays learn essential life skills. The space is always clean, organized, and welcoming. I absolutely love what they do here and highly recommend supporting their mission! I can't wait to go back !

Stumbled upon this place and was blown away. Not only was the food great, but the mission is extraordinary. So Happy I found it. The breakfast bowl was awesome, and the portions were plentiful, but the star of the show was tomato soup. Delicious. Quiet place to work, great food, and exceptional service. They have a fundraising event coming up, perhaps you want to attend or donate to help support their efforts.

An amazing little cafe that has a great atmosphere and vibe. Seems like a place that has strong underlying values where the food is the expression of them. Breakfast burrito with avocado and a very unique green chunky salsa is fantastic. Definitely well crafted evenly wrapped and deliciously mixed with egg and cheese and a ripe avocado. Adding to my favorite breakfast burrito joints.

Sacks in the City is a delightful gem that promises to elevate your coffee experience with an array of scrumptious offerings. Nestled in a bustling area, this charming café serves up everything from mouthwatering sandwiches and fresh salads to invigorating juices and a full coffee bar. Many visitors have stumbled upon Sacks while exploring the neighborhood, only to be pleasantly surprised by its vibrant menu.
First timers trying Sacks in the City. Found it just by walking around the neighborhood exploring places and it was a happy surprise. Mexi-Sandie Burrito was excellent and very freshly made. The tapatillo and salsa verde was a really good touch as well. The Yogurt bowl was really good and the gettin skinny with it smoothie was superb. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Lady at the cashier with the colorful tats (forgot to ask her name) was really nice and filled up the dog bowl with water and pointed out dog treats for good boys and girls. Would def come back and highly recommend this spot.

This is definitely a hidden gem in the South Bay! The coffee was delicious, the almond croissant, best ever and the Turkey sandwich on a croissant was the best I ever had! No doubt this is my go to sandwich spot now! I'm hooked!

Amazing iced-coffee, pumpkin muffins and pastries. They have a large assortment of candy-shop-style chocolate covered apples, jelly beans, orange malt balls and every other type of sweet you can imagine. Great stocking stuffers for Christmas, for sure. And Did I mention the ice-cream? Very nice staff as well.

While looking for a new coffee spot, Hubby came across Beach Cities Cafe and Confections in Redondo Beach. So we went for it! We got there around 8:30a and it said they open at 8a. But when we got there, no one was there so we were confused. Then we saw a lady run from across the street and opened up shop. She apologized but that was weird and you're 30mins late homegirl. When we entered, I felt it to be a bit closterphobic. It felt cluttered and stuff everywhere. I got my usual iced vanilla latte and a pumpkin muffin, Hubby just got an iced vanilla latte as well. There was only seating outside so that's where we sat. Our order came out and my muffin was super stale and it did not taste fresh at all. My iced vanilla latte was missing the vanilla. Hubby had to go and ask the lady to add the vanilla. This place was pretty disappointing and not at all what I expected. I will not be coming back.

A perfect stop after a long walk or a bike ride. Conveniently located by a park at the end of the North Redondo bike path. Convenient outside seating and a helpful staff! Lots of delectable items dipped in chocolate to go. The chocolate dipped cheesecake was unbelievably good and very reasonably priced! The rocky road Carmel Apple was mind blowing! A lot of drink options! Sandwiches and toasts!

Twas a good sandwich that I had... Nice and warm smoked turkey, quality bread and nice lettuce. A bit on the expensive side, but It was refreshing to have something that tasted homemade and not preprepared like most places. Lovely service.

I actually really like how small and uniquely shaped the shop is, in comparison to previous reviews. It's cozy. Reminds me of places in Japan. A nice shop in the North Redondo neighborhood and it is great for parents that a park is immediately nearby. The Green Bullet was a decent drink.

Overpriced off brand “StarBuckz”. Azul Cafe and Bar lowers the bar on service, so if you want to stop in, it’s best you lower your expectations. Located in the hotel lobby, it’s a well furnished, comfortable spot for breakfast. But, $15 for coffee and yogurt with salty AF. Service. This will be a hard pass the next time I’m at Redondo Beach. Forget about “Good Morning. Would you like to see a menu?” The server literally told me to go find the print out and pay before ordering. Do you want to pay with cash or Apple Pay? Forget about it. Their credit card skimmer/reader requires access to your physical card. I probably should report my card compromised now and skip the wait for some mysterious purchase showing up on my statement.
