Food is above average and a great value for the price. I've had the California omelette and steak/egg wrap, both were good. Service and atmosphere were great. I've come here the two mornings I've been in town and would recommend.

This was our first time having breakfast at the Franklin Spa! The food was very good! Everything was cooked just right ! The French toast, eggs, omelets and fresh breads were so delicious…the music was good as well as the atmosphere and staff! We met Brittany the owner and found out she worked there for 12 years before purchasing the restaurant just goes to show when you love what you do you can taste the difference! Food was good - not great. We were told there was a 20-30 min wait but it was actually an hour and 10 min. When we were seated we ordered ice coffees and chocolate milk - the iced coffee had almost no flavor. After 3 creams and a sugar it tasted like something but still nothing interesting (and we usually drink good coffee black). The server couldn’t take our order for another 15 min because “the kitchen had too many orders.” We were kind but definitely feeling hangry at this point. When our food finally came we’d been there for more than 2 hours. We had nothing to drink for quite a while - and no one to tree from until food was dropped off. No one came back to see if the food was alright. We also had to get up to get napkins from the server station. We’d never go there again, not because the food was bad, but because the overall experience was unacceptable.

Ate here last week with friends and always a fantastic breakfast and fun experience. Thank you to our server, Mia, who was outstanding. And it was her birthday!! The 4 of us had the blueberry stuffed French toast (2die4) 2egg b’fast, eggs & homemade hash browns and I had the scram-bowl with tomatoes ham & spinach (also 2die4). Mine was amazing, eggs-cellent actually! We love this place, been coming for years, always a pleasure. Travellers, the hungry monkey is a fine breakfast/lunch restaurant in downtown Newport. The restaurant is very cute and the service is with a smile. The eggs Benedict were excellent as were the eggs Benedict florentine with spinach and tomatoes. The veggie omelet was delicious as are all the omelets here. The grits left something to be desired. They missed the mark. And the home fries were cold. But check it out. We recommend

Ok place, not what I expected to be, I have heard good things about it and I was disappointed. Food was not great, way too greasy for my taste and not good quality. Establishment Outdated, dusty and very old. Service was fine, server was not attentive as I would expect, place was not busy at all.

If you’re visiting Newport RI, this is your place for excellent breakfast or lunch! The pancakes are absolutely delicious! Crispy bacon and flavorful coffee. The prices are good and the service is excellent, 100% recommend!

I went to The Hungry Monkey with my family for a late lunch and was happy to see many options for my family’s dietary restrictions. In addition the food was tasty when it came out and only took a short moment. I recommend the Salmón Bagel as the fish was really fresh and they allow you to make it yourself so you get all the best parts you enjoy.

I usually eat at The Atlantic Grille, which has been my brunch favorite for 30+ years. I tried The Hungry Monkey last week and it was pretty good. Had the Spider Monkey w/2 eggs over easy. Service was good and I think the owner was there which is always a good sign. I just thought there was a bit too much salt(for me) in the corned beef hash and home fries. If you like a lot of salt than even better for you.

Really good food in a great location in Newport. Came for breakfast and plenty of traditional diner options as well as some twists. The hollandaise was one of the best I ever had. I was served quickly but never offered a refill on my coffee or checked on after getting my food despite it not being busy, otherwise would have been 5 stars. Servers were friendly, just not very attentive.

Our experience at the hungry monkey was very poor. It took us 50 minutes to get our food, of which we needed to take in boxes as the long wait was going to put us late for our appointment. Cristy, our server was less than Pleasant, the table was very dirty and sticky, my arm and phone stuck to the table. Some of the food was good, some of it was not! Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend it.

Delicious apple cider doughnuts. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. The coffee from Custom House is of course the best around! There were lots of seating options both inside and outside in the lovely courtyard. Our only complaint was the bees everywhere outside.

Lovely cafe. Sandwiches are huge! I got the roast beef but it was just okay. There was a long line but it went quickly and food was delivered fast. They have a separate counter for people only getting drinks, which is a great idea. Needs more bathrooms. Unclear if you have to clear your own plate (they came around and did it) so better signage would be nice. Inside and outside were adorable!

Staff was inviting and pleasant. Food was outstanding. So much flavor and fresh. Prices are low for all you get! We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze.

The food was so good! We went on a Saturday and I had the Newport Eggs off the brunch menu and my partner had the Lumberjack Breakfast. Both options were delicious. The portions were large and beautifully served. I highly recommend the Cru Cafe

I ordered a bacon egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! It was so busy but the service was quick. Alan & Lauren were so kind and helpful. They have gluten free bread & wraps and were very conscious of my allergy. Definitely recommend!

Came here for the gluten free bread. Got the grilled cheese sandwich that was so cheesy. I shared the fancy tots with my husband, who got the breakfast wrap. Good thing we ordered a small because it would have been bacon cheese overload. They made sure to let me know that the tots had cross contamination because of the oil I believe. Self serve of water, coffee refills and bussing your own table.

Food was good! I would definitely come back and also recommend this as a brunch place for others. Seems like there were plenty of places to sit. Wasn’t fond of the coffee.

Yum, yum, yum! The cutest little corner diner with an extremely big delicious breakfast menu, but I was here to get some lunch. I tried the black bean and sweet potato burger with house salad and the cappuccino and everything was delicious!! Everyone here is just dressed in their own clothes, just a real laid-back diner with outdoor seating under canopies, so you're not blazing in the sun. While I was waiting in line, yes there was a line, two people walking out both commented and how delicious the breakfast was and it was their first time here. A must try in Newport Plus it's not on the main road with all the tourists which is why I went down this way. I was told that Broadway St. was where you wanted to eat, better places, more locals.

Fun, bright, spacious place for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast is served all day. Staff were friendly and although there was a line when we arrived, we got seated within 10 minutes. We had the cowboy scrambler, eggs Florentine, bacon, a pancake, a cappuccino and a latte. Overall food and drinks were good but didn't blow me away.

The best part of this place is its aesthetic and large portion dishes. Each entree portion is extremely generous. However, seasoning was a bit lacking, so I had to use some salt and pepper offered on the table. Additionally, service was very slow even with only a few tables filled.

Our favorite breakfast spot in Newport! There’s often a line, but it’s a small spot (they do have outdoor seating too). You definitely have to get there right when they open or you’ll have a wait (at least on the weekends), but very worth it. The menu is great, not too limited, with something for everyone. The breakfast potatoes are very unique, flavorful, and delicious. Be sure to save time to walk around the area and explore the shops (but most open at 10).

Corner Cafe has got to be the best breakfast in Newport! Every dish we ordered was incredible and huge. The service was very attentive, impressively so for how busy they were when we ate there. We waited for ~10 minutes to seat our party of 4 on a Saturday morning.

A very nice sit down diner. We had Sourdough Avocado Toast, nicely prepared with orange juice. The food was excellent and location was also good. We would recommend for a quick lunch or dinner.

Delicious food. The irish breakfast went above and beyond, perfectly fried sausage, very tasty black and white pudding, and perfectly well cooked eggs to top it off. Will come back.

Great local restaurant. Me and my friends go so often our waitress, Sadie, knows us. Sadie is great! She is very attentive and always friendly. They have a great taco Tuesday. I want to go and try their nacho Thursday. Think Mexican food with a twist. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Alex took great care of us! The pink lemonade was refreshing after walking the Cliff Walk. We started with the crispy calamari. My husband had the Barbacoa Burrito and I had the carne asada tacos. We were ravenous after the long hike and everything was delicious! 🤤 We also had the apple pie burrito and it was great. Not too sweet and a perfect dessert. We also had a nice view out to the marina which we love as we are both sailors. Definitely will come back to Diego’s when we are back in the area!

This place would get 5 stars only if we didn’t have to wait 15 mins to get a table while the place wasn’t packed! We had made a reservation, even though we didn’t need one. People arriving after us got tables faster! However the lady who was serving our table was very nice, 5 stars for her service! Food - we got the fried tofu tacos from the Vegan menu. Veggie nachos & tofu burrito & a Marg. It was all good. Loved the nachos.

Absolutely amazing food, very diverse menu options. I'm vegan but my husband is not. They had the regular menu as well as a Vegan menu and Gluten free menu! We got upgraded margs (which were amazing) vegan nachos, vegan Cali burrito with smoked tofu, and barbacoa burrito. Everything was amazing, if we ever busy Newport again, we'll be sure to be back!

This place is in a great location. We stopped here for a small bite and drinks before lunch in 3 hrs. It was brunch menu and we ordered the smoke salmon quesadilla. I was expecting a nice size quesadilla but I was wrong. Please see photo. Service started off really slow sitting at the bar. Total of 6 ppl at the bar. Both parties seated at the same time. After 10 min we were acknowledged. I forgot to mention someone stuck chewed up gum on the bar where we sat it was gross but finally the nice bartender cleaned it up and was embarrassed. He was the best part of our experience here.

Ate here twice during our stay in Newport. They have a full vegan option menu and the food was fantastic. We had the Cali Burrito, Fried Tofu Tacos, Vegan Nachos with Vegan Sausage, Spicy Butternut Squash Bisque, and the Street Tacos. Everything was excellent. Then there are the drinks which were delicious too. Staff was so friendly and made us feel like locals. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was very good. The portions are large. The spinach omelette and the banana pancakes are delicious. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Nice family place with plenty of parking. The food was good, not great. We had tthe artichoke salad and the seafood scampi. Chicken dish was bland, but was the better of the two dishes. Scampi lacked flavor and some of the lobster was too chewy to eat. Service was very good and prices are reasonable.

We decided to stop by here at the end of our vacation. What a treat! Food was delicious. Although the atmosphere is somewhat loud from all the people conversing. Place was packed! No outside tables although they are located right near the ocean. While it is not a place for a romantic dinner, it definitely is for a great meal!

Nachos seemed straight out of a commercial. Service was poor, but could be the staff is worn out due to a long weekend and high tourist rate. Overall, I’d be willing to give this place a second shot, even if only to go for the Nachos!!!! Absolutely insane Nachos!

Very good and tasty homemade burgers. The place however was a bit noisy and not entirely pleasant. The food though was very good and affordable in comparison with other restaurants in the area.

I got the baked stuffed Maine Lobster. It was extremely dry and overcooked. I would have sent it back but we waited so long for our food and were hungry so I ate it. It was the worst Maine lobster I have ever had. My boyfriend had a Lobster and bacon quesadilla. Not very good either. The restaurant only had a few people in it so why it took so long we dont know. Our waitress never introduced herself..only checked on us once..and we had to ask for refills on our tea. My boyfriend ordered coleslaw and never got it. At that point we were aggravated..paid our bill and left. We tipped 20 percent despite bad service and food because I never feel comfortable taking away someones wages..$85 dinner..We dont reccommend it and would never go back. No one made us feel welcome. We drove up from Florida and were looking forward to good Maine lobster. Disappointing!

The Castle Hill Inn was an elegant dining experience for lunch. I am usually apprehensive about valet, but our guy, Connor, instantly made me feel as though my car was in good hands. From there, we were sat by a beautiful hostess named Ayina who was super friendly and informed us of everything they had to offer. Once we were seated, our waitress named all of the specials they had (so many good choices) and drink specials. Everything came out perfect. Lounging on the Adirondack chairs on the grass while watching the boats is a must-do when at Castle Hill Inn. There are even some paths to get down on the rocks below. Awesome place for a date. Highly recommend.

This is a great hotel with an excellent Restaurant. The views are spectacular especially during sunset. Enjoy sitting outside and enjoy your favorite libations, bring your friends and you will see some impressive yachts sail along the coastline.You can definitely make reservations at the restaurant if you dont want to stay here, but I recommend you get a room. You can dine at two restaurants the Aurelia and the Lawn Terrace. You will definitely enjoy what this place has to offer. I highly recommend you make a visit here.

We stopped in for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and birthday and were thoroughly impressed the moment we met the valet driver. The entire staff was warm and attentive, and incredibly welcoming. Our server Kaye was polite and friendly and went out of her way to make our experience memorable! The food was delicious, flavorful and beautifully presented. The views were stunning from every angle making the whole experience that much better . We had the pleasure of dealing with your manager Brian which made our experience even more special. Brian’s dedication to providing exceptional service and his commitment to providing exceptional customer service was evident in every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! [This is strictly for the restaurant!] WOW. 100/10. Go for sunset!! This is a must-see dinner spot if you are venturing to Newport area. Food, view and service were all an absolute 10/10. Cannot wait to go back another time. We went early/mid Oct so it wasn’t as crowded as it likely is in peak season but we still got there early (before 530) to get a good window seat in the dining area. The clam chowder was the best I’ve had to date. My husband ordered the duck and I’m not a big duck person but it was delicious. I also loved my turkey sandwich. And our waiter was incredibly attentive and kind.

Had drinks on the lawn. Location amazing, service fabulous but drinks were below expectations (especially given the price). Gin & tonic was watery like they let the ice melt. Another hibiscus drink was tasteless. Servers & valet top notch but the drinks were disappointing. Stick with wine or beer & enjoy the beautiful view!

Didn't stay here but 3rd time at the restaurant , meal perfectly prepared and presented. Ambience is spectacular!!! If you're in the area, go! You'll be happy you did.

We stopped in Annie’s for breakfast. It was a no-frills kitchenette vibe. It was decorated for Christmas which was really pretty! We were seated pretty quickly and discovered that we came at a good time because it fills up quickly! I ordered the Huevos Ranchos which was really good! My husband got the western omelette with home fries and a side of corned beef hash. The only complaint my husband had was that the home fries came out cold which was unexpected given the amount of customer turnover! The food was good and service was good. There is really only one waitress today taking orders and she was doing a great job to really personalize the experience for everyone so the service was great. They might want to consider bringing someone in on the weekends to help with the rush! Overall, highly recommend a visit here. And try the orange juice! It’s refreshing!

Great food and incredibly affordable considering the wealth and taste of Newport. My cousin and I both enjoyed breakfast later in the day, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our only issue with the restaurant was how the main wait staff spoke to our waitress. Our waitress was very sweet but young and the older staff seemed to overcorrect, over explain, and use disrespectful language towards her. While we sat in there, we heard and watched the older staff members accept her being spoken to in a disrespectful way for something extremely minor and used disrespectful language toward the waitress. Just because she is new or young, doesn’t mean you have to be mean! We enjoyed the experience overall, but the service was strange to encounter in such a friendly city.

Louisa was awesome! Taking care of a full dining room by herself. My omelette was good. My husbands crows nest Benedict was very very wet and the eggs were underdone. We got a lemon poppyseed muffin and Louisa recommended having it griddled, and it was quite good.

My son and I stopped here for a late lunch while we were visiting the mansions in Newport. Great little restaurant that we found by chance. Great service and food. I had the turkey club and my son had the regular turkey sandwich. He also had the fried ice cream which he said was excellent. They really like to push that dessert for everyone to try. They also make fresh baked pies.

Great local diner style restaurant. Felt very welcome from the moment we walked in. Food was very tasty and the service was so friendly. Had the Eggs Fatulli Benedict which is a lobster Benedict. Was surprised by how much lobster was on there. Very good food. Fresh squeezed orange juice too!

Great place to have your breakfast! Staff is lovely, I felt like we knew each other for a long time. A tiny place but very comfy. The food is good and the menu has the classics of a traditional American breakfast. The difference is with the service for sure. We even decided to have all our breakfasts there. Although small it wasn’t crowded and the price is fair, not expensive.

Best bar in town hands down! We asked the bartender every where we went and they all said PJ is their favorite and it's easy to see why. Looks a little divey but has some world class food. The seafood soup is incredible, full of flavor and seafood. Loved the jambalaya too. Can't wait to come back!

Looked at this place on google. I didn't disappoint pretty cool place. The atmosphere was awesome, and it was pretty busy on a Monday. But overall, the wings and Chicken Marsala and my go-to old fashion were pretty dang good. Will definitely be back in the future.

During a visit to Newport, this place was recommended by a resident. It's a little gem... the burger was excellent, fries had great flavor and were nice and crispy, and the penned carbonara was hearty and tasty. Staff was friendly and super fast.

We stopped here for a drink and an appetizer. We ordered the southwest egg rolls and they are delicious. Drinks are cold but overpriced! I'm not surprised about the prices it's Newport lol

Incredible bar. Came here to watch NFL Sunday from a cruise ship stop in Newport. Quick walk from port. Staff is super attentive and nice. They were nice enough to put the games on we wanted to watch. Wings are a must order. Bartender told me they were legit and he wasn't lying. Some of the best wings I've had from anywhere, period. 1000% recommend this place.

Everything was good except for the grilled octopus which I sent back because you couldn't even chew it. Second time was better but still just ok. But the standout here was the gluten-free lamb poutine, everyone loved that!

My fiance and I went in Monday for dinner on our honeymoon and I have to say we were blown away. She got the Potato pizza and I had the Drs Orders burger (complete with syringe full of queso). The food was phenomenal, the restaurant itself was also very aesthetically pleasing, and the staff and live jazz band performing made it an even more enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a cool spot with a creative menu and good live music in Newport I’d recommend this place hands down.

This place has become a summer staple. Service is excellent and their food is lovely. Highly recommend the salmon! Large portion and well balanced flavours. Jasper is a gem, she is a hospitality natural.

Never a bad experience! Spacious and open in summer, dim and cozy in winter. There is often live music, too. The menu is excellent, with something for everyone including wood fired pizza. The fried mushrooms are an absolute must even for those who think they don’t like mushrooms. Trust me on this! Great vibe, great service, nice long fully stocked bar, and very cool bathrooms. Had an incredible dinner last night. After traveling from NY for hours, we stopped here a half hour before they closed. Our server was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating even being the last table. Loved the decor, the cocktails were wonderful, and the food was Sofa. King. Fantastic! Amazing flavors, hearty portions, and beautiful presentation. Even though we were just passing through, I would seriously plan to revisit Newport just to eat here again. Bravo.

Great casual place - had burgers and beer. We were there on a Wednesday, and they had an irresistible combo deal: burger + draft beer $21. Loved the interior and the vibe. Excellent service by our waiter too!

It was Saturday evening before Easter Sunday, extremely busy. I had 1 of their signature cocktails, Rum 44 Daiquiri it was strong and a little tart. Then I had clam chowder, everyone likes it different, it was good to my taste. Then then the Pear and Brie Salad, it was out of this world good. It’s a casual place , no dress up needed. The bartenders were friendly, maybe could have been a little more engaging. But it was busy so I kept 4 stars. It is very noisy, which is to be expected.

Worth making a reservation for a busy Fri or Sat supper! We dined on Sunday night at 7 pm. No problem getting in, but we did make a reservation! Kind, courteous, professional team that served us . Food was terrific. NE clam chowder was excellent. Creme brulee for dessert was yummy! This place is one of our regular stops during our summer weekend to Newport!

AMAZING! I had the pleasure of eating twice at Zelda's on Thames in Newport Ri. The four of us had a clam chowder (excellent) , a stuffed clams (amazing), a pizza and Jamaican Caribbean wings. I'm from NY and not a fan of bad pizza... I had two slices! Love the pizza. The service was excellent as the bartenders Paul Kaitlyn, Mike are true professionals and on top of their game. Very nice vibe and a great atmosphere. Since being a Mortgage banking for 42 years, I've eaten at the best restaurants. Before mortgage banking, I worked in a restaurant as a chef and also owned a restaurant. With my background as an Italian Sicilian foodie , I think I know good food. A clean restroom usually indicates a clean kitchen. They have a clean restroom✔️ It's my neighborhood bar and I make sure I get there early in order to get a seat lol I can't wait to go back. This is an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend them👍🏼

Ideally it’s a 3.5/5. Service was good just on the slow side. Apps were good we got boneless chicken and meatball sliders. Food was good overall. Only one bathroom so there was always a line. Atmosphere was fun and lots of TVs for football.

A decent place to visit if you are traveling to Rhode Island for a one day trip. They have lot of seafood options and I can say that you won't be disappointed with any item from the menu. Something that should be tried is scallops. I don't remember the name exactly but it was scallops appetizer that we love the most.

I loved this place. The restaurant gives a vibe of an American dinner. The location was very good. When i went there it was all cloudy and cold. The view from the windows was nice. The service was very good!!! They were kind and helpful when we needed help to order something. The food was amazing. If I was staying longer i would have been there again!!!

Indoor and outdoor dining areas in the warmer weather. Food is diner/breakfast style and good for what it is. Staff are very friendly and polite. If your looking for a heart breakfast and a place to assemble your clan. Then this might just be the chalet for you. Curbside pickup, gift cards, crayons to snack on. All the bells and whistles. It's a classic old school joint and that's the only reason it's a 4. Not a five for food and atmosphere, but personally I think it's just what it's supposed to be. One of the nicest IHOPs I've ever been in. Staff are always very friendly, food is always good and fresh and it actually feels like the original international House of pancakes and its prime. Prime. I would say Newport IHOP is probably one of the last of a dying breed that still has tremendous pride in their restaurant and it shows

We had strawberry banana pancakes, chicken waffles, eggs Benedict, strawberry French toast and chicken waffles. They were all really good. The stuff was very friendly and welcoming and the place was clean and cozy. We loved it. We will definitely come back.

I may have underestimated ihop, this was an absolutely delicious meal. Everything from the price, quantity, quality, and service was excellent. Our server was friendly and felt like a genuine person. The food was exactly what I want when I think of great breakfast food! Plus 2 people and it was so reasonably priced, especially if you get something off the $6 menu. Really a well done job if I had the money I would’ve tipped the chef. The pancakes were fluffy and warm, eggs perfectly cooked. Crepes sweet and light, coffee was just right. Conclusion: I need to become rich so I can just start giving people money for doing jobs that aren’t recognized. I’d be happy to come back here and I’d recommend this establishment to anyone craving quality American diner style food.

Cheryl was the PERFECT waitress! She was attentive and personable whilst also never being in the way of our meal. The food was fab and came out quickly.

This woman closed her other location, but surprise! She's back! Same scam, different place! $5.95 for a small cold brew... plus $1 for ice, $1 for milk, and $1 for flavor. I didn’t realize coffee shops were going à la carte now. The pastries are straight from a wholesale box, but sure—charge bakery prices. If you enjoy paying premium prices for Costco vibes, this is your spot. AVOID.

I wish I had read the reviews before spending my money here. Two bagels toasted with cream cheese almost $18! The bagels themselves were over $6 each, plus $1 each for cream cheese and $1 each for getting them toasted. The bagels were disappointing, seemed more like they were microwaved rather than toasted. The amount of cream cheese was embarrassing. The other coffee shops in the area had lines out the door- this place was nearly empty. Should’ve known. Would not recommend.

The Coffee Grinder, in the heart of walkable downtown Newport Rhode Island, offers multiple coffee, tea, and other drinks, as well as food options. The service is superb: friendly, upbeat, and efficient. A public restroom is available in the building, down a back hallway, to customers. My daughter and I were both more than satisfied with the experience. Even though the Coffee Grinder does not focus on establishing heavy social media presence the way other coffee houses in Newport seem to do, the core reality is that the coffee is top-notch and the prices within range of similar coffee houses. We went here only because the coffee house my daughter picked out due to social media reviews had a line about half a block down, and by serendipity we were fortunate to find the Coffee Grinder: no long wait, great drinks, and in a classically restored older building near the waterfront. The counter person, Alyssa, was friendly and a joy to interact with as she knows her craft well.

We came late and the owner was there. She did an amazing job and making sure that we had what we wanted, extremely great conversation and what a wonderful little coffee shop. Went back in the area. This is the only place that will grab our brew!

SCAM, they talked you in, and charged extra for everything, including ice without mentioning any of the extra charges in advance. Not transparent about the price. We attached the receipt for future consumers to refer to. Besides, we don't taste coffee at all after adding two shots of Expresso. You can see how diluted the coffee is from the picture we attached. If you want good coffee, go to Nitro whose large latte is quad shots without extra charging and ice for free, less than $8 after tax!

Love this place. We were here visiting for a few days and I came here every chance I got. All the pastries are made fresh there and the coffees are so good. I’d recommend the espresso macchiato if you want a little shot of coffee and make sure to get a chocolate croissant! Those croissants were the best I’ve ever had!

This is THE MOST EXPENSIVE coffee you'll ever NOT ENJOY! No prices are advertised! Buyer beware! We purchased an iced mocha with whip on top. It was almost $14. We asked the LOUD sales lady if she made a mistake? NO, she responded, and began to defend her prices with an explanation of "imported Italian coffee". SERIOUSLY...I've had 100% peaberry Kona coffee at the plantation for much less. Don't make the mistake that we made and stop here for service with a smile, or a fair priced coffee!!

I’ll start with the good. The location is perfect, walkable to restaurants and shops. The rooms are nice and have comfortable beds and showers. However, I would not choose to stay here again and that is due to the lack of service and basic amenities. I was in a group that had multiple rooms and our experiences varied widely. One night we’d get bottled water for turn down service, the next we’d get tap, or we’d get no turn down at all. Only one of the three rooms we had had a hair dryer. None had an ironing board. One day they forgot to stock towels in our room and I left the property for multiple hours, when I returned the towels still had not been stocked. They offer free rides in their “service car” which was a filthy car covered in crumbs all over the seats. It was dirty enough that my group decided to pay for Ubers instead of using the complimentary service. All in all I’d say it’s a shame, because the property is fabulous, but they’ve got alot of work to do in terms of service. I definitely feel I spent too much on this hotel for what I received.

A wonderful experience. The hotel is walkable to everything, the rooms were immaculate and we felt like a valued guest from the moment we arrived. The outdoor bar/restaurant scene was one of the better experiences we’ve had in our travels. We will absolutely come back for an extended stay.

We held a family dinner ahead of our wedding. The staff could not have been more accommodating - we were able to choose between sitting outside or using the more private wine room (we chose the wine room based on the weather). All of our servers were attentive and charming and the manager stopped by to check on us, too. The food was fantastic and it was a terrific night overall.

Our server Amanda was extremely accommodating. I am visually impaired and needed her help describing menu items. I ended up taking her recommendation for the tomahawk and the spicy margarita. 10/10 all in all amazing dining experience and impeccable. I will be coming back and recommending this place to all of my friends.

We were here to visit a friend of mine from culinary school. He has a boat that he doc here for the summer. We did not stay in the rooms, so I can't rate those. The service was excellent. The staff was quick, friendly, and very attentive. They even bring the food to the boat. If you're in Newport and want a drink, food, or a place to stay, I would recommend 41 North.

Last night the wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at The Grill. We called 2 weeks prior to make 630 reservations and let them know we were celebrating. We got there and had to wait for someone to acknowledge we were there. Staff walking by ignored us. Finally someone got around to us. After we got to our table, they brought water and asked if we would like a champagne toast for our anniversary, which I thought was nice. Two glasses of champagne came, and It went downhill from there. We waited at least 20 min for her to return to ask if we wanted anything to drink. But before she returned, they seated 2 older couples next to us, 15 min after we got there, which she took care of taking their drink order, went and put in their order, then decided to come see us. We asked for a wine list and waited for that. Then she takes the order for people next to us, while we are still waiting for the wine list. We finally ordered our wine and she took our entire order all at once, which I found weird. Then the older couples next to us started saying stuff about us out loud so we could hear and giving us dirty looks, which made us very uncomfortable. We were sitting having a conversation and started being criticized and mocked. This continued the entire night. When the oysters and “crispy calamari “ arrived, the oysters were awesome, but the calamari was cold and soggy. We didn’t send it back because we just waited over 1/2 hr for it and we were hungry. It was now 745. For an entree, we ordered the 22oz bone in NY Strip, medium. It took over an hr to get and it was raw, like not even cooked. The older couples had eaten, got dessert, the check and we hadn’t even gotten our meal. Our waitress basically ignored us but seemed to take care of everyone else, asking if everything was ok, pouring wine, but ignoring us. Finally she came back to see how the steak was. When I told her the issues if the night, she apologized with an attitude and asked if we wanted another steak. Now it was 8:40, our reservations were at 630 and we just got our raw steak. A couple came in and was seated behind us an hr after us and got there meal 5 min after us. Our waitress was attentive to everyone except us. You guys completely ruined our anniversary dinner!!! When asked what we wanted, I said I want this all comped. We did not pay for anything. They at least honored that. I don’t know what the problem was, but you need some better experienced staff, and you were not even that busy. I will never set foot there again. A total waste of time. Thanks for ruining our night!!!

Lobby, bar and restaurant were all pleasant for a small boutique hotel. The rooms were very run down for what is considered a 4 star hotel. We were there for a wedding and booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. Somehow our rate was double everyone else at event. So beware!! We were given 2 regular small king rooms with parking lot views and one loft which is in building next to hotel. It was like a college dorm apartment! They could not move our third room back into the hotel. Front desk was not accommodating in any way. We never saw a manager. Very very disappointing! We spent a lot of money. 3 rooms for 3 nights! Would never recommend this hotel.

The workers here on the morning of Saturday, 5/17/2025, were exceptional. I requested that two drinks be re-made after I spilled them, and they were friendly and very efficient. I will definitely come back as a result of this interaction.

I usually order a cinnamon tea with honey every single time. The last two times, I've been given decaf green tea with no honey. Sometimes my food will come out without certain things that I specifically asked for. Good spot, just need more attention to detail and consistency. If there’s no tea, just tell me at the window lol. Seems like the food is hit or miss depending on who is making it.

Whenever we stay in Rhode Island we always make it a habit to eat at The Newport Creamery. It’s a very casual, comfortable eatery that serves up traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites. Prices are extremely reasonable and the wait staff is always courteous. We visit the Middletown RI location and have never been disappointed. Pictured is the Cheese Omelette breakfast. If you’re there later in the day, they have a wide selection of ice cream and shakes. Very good!

Must have gotten unlucky. Went here during our time in Rhode Island this summer. The server seemed highly inconvenienced by us and was quite rude. The food was pretty good except my order was entered incorrectly so just got the basic Big Beef instead of Big Beef “The Creamery Way” (commonly known as a patty melt). I probably don’t need to try again. The Awful Awful was decently good though!

Disappointed with Our Visit on June 25 On the evening of June 25, my family and I visited your walk-up window to order some ice cream. The line was a bit long, which we understand happens, but once we reached the window, the ordering process felt disorganized. The employee had to clarify multiple times what we ordered. which made things more confusing than necessary. The biggest issue, though, was the condition of the ice cream. While we were standing at the window, the cooler lid right next to us remained open the entire time. One of the flavors we originally wanted was so soft that the employee actually advised us not to choose it. We ended up picking a different flavor, but even that one was very soft—almost melted. It was disappointing to wait in line only to be served ice cream that clearly hadn’t been kept at the proper temperature, especially during such hot weather. I wish we had been made aware of the issue before paying. It also seemed like the employees were a bit overwhelmed or untrained, as there was a lot of running around and confusion behind the window. Hoping to see some improvements, as we were really looking forward to this visit.

It’s our first time visiting Rhode Island and we stumbled upon this gem of a place. The food is SO GOOD and the ice cream is out of this world. Seriously, the best cookies and cream I’ve ever had and I’m a connoisseur of sorts lol ANYWAYS!! Abby was the absolute bomb, very attentive and sweet. And talented! She’s serving and making all the ice cream and sundaes for the diners. We appreciate her attentiveness and very friendly demeanor. We can’t wait to come back! (:

My friend has a life-threatening allergy and Shawn made us feel so reassured and comfortable! After trying to get accommodated at multiple different ice cream shops, this one was able to make my friend feel like she could eat here safely. Will come back here every single time!

This place may be the worst place I have EVER laid my eyes on… last night my friends and I tried to get a table for 7 originally they said a 10-15 minute wait. However after waiting nearly 30 WHOLE minutes they said that we could only get ice cream unless we wait another whole hour… this was so disrespectful as we watched at least 5 different groups get sat before speaking too us.

Nwpt Crmy is a middle of the road restaurant that's never grown up. The food was okay, wife had ice cream it was ok. I had a large salad which was very good. But the coffee is one short step above dish water. Too hot to drink for almost the entire dinner. It's basically covered boiled water with milk/cream. At least it's predictable.

The Greek Salad was fresh & delicious, the Fruit Smoothie Plus was also good but couldn’t taste any of the 2 kinds of rum it was supposed to have. Love their big booths, perfect for a service dog to lay under the table comfortably!! “Thou shalt not” sayings on the beams were cute. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in town, really want to try some of their other menu items!!

Classic old-school diner vibes with incredible food, huge portions, and prices that are more than fair. Everything came out hot, fresh, and fast. Do yourself a favor and try the jalapeño cornbread with the pepper jam. It's to die for.

Exceeded all expectations. Eggs Benny were perfect. Fancy hotel quality. Pancakes were also perfect. Somehow both fluffy and a little chewy. Delicious. Bloody Mary was a bargain at $7. Service friendly, attentive, and fast, but not rushed. Decor is 50's diner(ish). Only two minor complaints. Lighting could be better. It felt dark. But to be fair, I was hungover, so it could have been me. The side of bacon pricing wasn't listed and I thought it was comparatively expensive at $5+. Not only will I be back, it's my new goto "grassy spoon" breakfast in Newport. Based on this experience, I'll also go back for the "after 11" menu. Thank you staff and owners of Blue Plate Dinner for clearly caring about what you all do there. Well done!

A proper diner! We were in town from NYC for a wedding and needed 'fuel' for our ride home. THE BREAKFAST POTATOES ARE FANTASTIC HERE! We had the regular breakfast but it was a notch above most diner's. The service was warm and inviting from all servers and the front of house. Highly recommended if you're in Newport and looking for an affordable place to eat with a typically expansive menu.

Prompt friendly service pleasant waitress, attentive. Food was great, restaurant was clean, what more can you ask for.

Been to Newport many times over the past 25+ yrs but had never been to Tickets until this visit & went twice because it was so good!! The fish & chips (ordered twice), chorizo mac & cheese, caesar salad with a side of steak & the surf & turf were all delicious!! Also ordered a pitcher of the pineapple cake mimosas, really good!! Will definitely visit again next year when I return! Outside seating with a service dog was great!! First visit were offered a bowl of water for the dog, second visit no offer, so only 4 stars on the service.

Everything was amazing. View is amazing, food was good! Fish & chips so good! Clam chowder flavor was awesome, just wish there were more clams in it. Clam cakes were fabulous and a lot of clams in there! Fried scallops were also good. Fried pickles are always good flavor! Our server Hannah was great very attentive even though the place was rocking!! Definitely will come back!

Fantastic food and service. Abra was awesome! Thank you! ... and yes... I'd never had tartar sauce with fried shrimp... always cocktail sauce! The tartar sauce was not only a better choice... but it was REALLY GOOD TARTAR SAUCE!!! Good job of getting me to do both!

Sit on 2nd floor, excellent ocean view. Yummy clam chowder. Fried scallops good but smaller portion, Burger good. Shrimp tacos only 2 but tasty. Plenty of onsite customer parking at 5pm

The food was absolutely amazing and the appetizers were delicious. The server was attentive but a bit on the slower side. My soda was flat but they said they couldn’t change that. Other than that all of the food was very much worth its cost and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here with the family. Watched the bills game and had some great food! Lobster roll was delish. The best part was the pesto shrimp pizza!

The food was great—I had the lobster roll and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the meal. I had to ask another waiter just to get a water refill, and my server (Tori5, as listed on the receipt) never checked in after taking my order. I would’ve ordered another drink, but never got the chance. I noticed she was very friendly with other tables, which made the lack of attention even more noticeable. Disappointing, especially considering I’m a guest at the hotel they own across the street.

Can’t believe I’m actually reviewing McDonalds, but here we go… placed a mobile order on 08/16/2025. - First red flag: Drive-thru took 15 mins with 3 cars. - When I got to the window, there was zero customer interaction at drive-thru. No acknowledgment. I get it - it’s McDonalds, but still… I felt like I was annoying them by showing up. - They forgot part of my order - I didn’t realize until a few mins after I left the drive-thru - I went back through the drive-thru, explained I was missing an item, and referenced my mobile order code. The worker argued the code didn’t exist and that I wasn’t missing anything… - Proceeded to drive-thru pickup window and showed them my order receipt. Lady didn’t want to look at me - just simply handed me over the missing item and remained with a scowl on her face. Horrible customer service. Hire people who shred an ounce of work ethic and can actually communicate with the customer. My worst experience at this location.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! It's been a number of years since we've gone to this particular McDonald's because they would consistently screw up the orders, since it's been quite a while since we've been there we figured we would give it a try again hoping that those issues have been resolved. Well it's even worse! I should have walked out when I first walked in,the first two people out of the three ahead of us were complaining about getting the wrong orders,yet I gave it a shot anyway, after waiting 25 minutes we did get some food, just not what we ordered. When I got the bag of wrong food (before I knew what was in it)I asked where are my drinks?, an ice coffee and a ice tea?They seemed even more confused than they already have been. The girl who took my order asked to see my receipt and said there's no ice coffee on it,even though she asked me how I want my ice coffee and punched something onto the screen when ordering, she gave me the ice tea and I didn't want to wait even longer to probably get more wrong stuff again so we split the ice tea and ate food that we didn't order.I don't care how many years go by,I will not go back again. I believe that they have been able to stay open because of the large number of tourists that come to that area who don't know any better. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED AND GOOD LUCK!

Door dashed and they literally only put drinks in the bag even though the receipt was printed to the side of the bag with our whole order. And then another night we asked if we could get a milkshake and she said no you have to get it with a combo so we went online and ordered it so it wasn’t a combo and just the milkshake and then when we pulled up to the window we got our order we asked for at the radio thing and then we also said we have an online order and she said she wouldn’t give it to us because we have to wait like all the others for the food (even though we had been waiting in line for 20 minutes) and then once she saw it was just a milkshake she finally agreed to make it.

I never thought I'd be writing a review for a McDonald's, but here we are. This visit was so spectacularly wrong that I had to share. My order was simple and one I've memorized from frequenting the establishment: - Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese - plain - 10-piece Chicken McNuggets - no sauce - Large French Fries - Large Coke Zero What I received was a completely different meal: - A single cheeseburger (not plain lol) - A medium Coca Cola (not a Coke Zero) - A medium fry - And to top it off, they forgot the nuggets entirely until I asked for them at the drive-thru window—and even then, they included a dipping sauce I didn't want. It's one thing to get a single item wrong, but for every single component of a simple order to be incorrect is baffling. McDonald's isn't a Michelin-star restaurant, but you expect a certain level of accuracy, and this fell far short.

Be careful if you doordash order! This is the third time I order and always my order has delivered incomplete. Besides the restaurant never fix it the issue, I order only items and didn't get complete, without spoon, without straw, without napkins.

I’ve been there twice this week once they screwed up the order with the chicken nuggets, today I ordered the hamburger fries and chicken nuggets and I received in the bag through the drive-in. Two chicken nuggets in a fry. These people are screwed up as you can get, please think about it when you may want to use the other McDonald’s.

This place says it’s open at 5 and you can see employees in there at 530 just sitting around but they don’t answer the drive thru and just sit there and watch out the window when you leave.

This review is being compiled by two former New Yorkers who feel we really know a good bagel when we see one. Well, don’t pass by Bagel Boys! Stop at Bagel Boys❣️❣️ This is a big, fat , chewy, warm, delicious bagel —and we arrived right before they closed and the bagels were still so chewy and so delicious. So much flavor! And they have all the crazy flavors that people like, but I just went for a plain and also for a sunflower bagel and —my goodness —they were just sublime!!!!!!!

Newport needs a new bagel shop. They don't take phone orders. Don't take credit cards. Don't slice or put the cream cheese on for you. On top of all those slight inconveniences the bagels are stale! 🤢 Waste of money waste of time. Plenty of coffee shops including one across the street where you can get better bagels.

Had an amazing bagel sandwich today ! It was a Thanksgiving sandwich with turkey stuff and cranberry sauce, mayo on a rosemary and olive oil toasted bagel , it was perfect!!!

I went to the Middletown Bagel Boys. The bagels were good, though they hadn't replenished the types yet so I didn't get the exact flavors I wanted. Also they were probably better when they were fresh. They informed me that they keep making them through the day, which not all bagel places will do that. I just got there in between production cycles.

We were visiting Newport & decided we wanted a breakfast sandwich . We were the only ones in the shop , but the line grew pretty quickly after we arrived. I have today there wasn't any sense of urgency to wait on customers . We ordered a bagel with fried egg & cheese & coffee . Both were delicious . Good coffee ...I needed a fresh cup after the bitter Keurig brewed in our hotel room . They have a few tables outside , so it was warm enough to eat there . Yes , I would go back again . We were not in a rush & were on vacation . But the wait may be about long if headed to work . Very fair prices . I think our entire meal was $10 . 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches & 2 coffees! This is a take out place , not eat in.

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Yiayia herself was onsite. She was welcoming and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, and we will be back to try the homemade desserts! I recommend support for this small business.

Great small restaurant as a family owned business. Food was amazing and it came out in less than 10 minutes for 4 people. I’m on vacation and this was the first spot, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone around here. The price is outstanding aswell, so cheap but so so good!

Absolutely wonderful experience during our New England vacation! We were recommended this restaurant by a local friend and it exceeded our expectations. We had an all Greek breakfast and it was FANTASTIC. The family that owns the place is so sweet and easy to talk to that it made our breakfast here so pleasant and a great start to our day. I will definitely be staying at the inn on our next trip to R. I. ❤️

I came in for just a Greek coffee. The person who took my order was very nice. The lady who runs the hotel/cafe wasn’t super friendly. When coming in, she was in the hotel side and very friendly with someone else. However, when she came to the cafe side right to the register where we were standing, no greeting at all. As I was walking out, I was the one to say “have a good day” and she responded, but are you the one who should be greeting and seeing your customers off? I didn’t love the atmosphere for that reason. I also ordered Greek coffee and it was not good at all. It was very watery. I won’t be back.

Lovely porch to enjoy your meal. The food is fresh and delicious. The tzatziki on the grilled chicken Mediterranean sandwich was fresh and tasted homemade( which the owner confirmed). We also had breakfast and it also was freshly made and very tasty Indoo r dining along the comfortable bench an extra tables or out on the covered porch makes this a great spot

Wished we found this gem sooner in our vacation! Stopped in for breakfast- welcoming staff, cozy dining area, excellent meal and prices. They even have their own herb garden near the entrance so fresh herbs in their dishes!

The wait at this Dunkin is always so insanely long even when you order ahead which I have to do because of I order at the window it's always wrong. Spent 15 minutes in line today to get my loaded hash and coffee. Mocha all sitting at the bottom 2 inches thick. And my loaded hash browns which were supposed to have extra queso on them and I swear there wasn't even a full teaspoon worth on it

honestly there are no stars for how horrible this location is. first of all at the drive-through, nobody greets you you wait five minutes and then you finally have to say hello and then somebody gets on and says I’ll be right with you then you proceed to wait for another five almost 10 minutes then by the time you get your order, they have an attitude and most of the time the coffee has been burnt. The bagels have been stale. I definitely won’t be back to this location.

This location needs to improve on their customer service training. The young women behind the counter thought it was appropriate to criticize someone’s order and their ignorance as they were standing in front of her.

Wow. How the (I struggle to call her anything resembling decent or nice) "lady" behind the mobile pickups counter making the sandwiches/orders has a job is beyond me. Just being belligerently loud and ranting about shutting the door and locking it. "She did door dash in the past, has common sense." Oh yeah? Seems like you don't have that "common sense" job anymore, can't imagine you have that much. I've worked in restaurant's and fast food. Quit if you can't hack it. Yeesh, just an embarrassing person to even witness in the human-race. Just going on a tirade the whole time I'm standing there patiently waiting 10 mins for orders to finish. Then when they're done, they sit there for another 2-3 mins before I get fed up and have to ask if those are ready or not. The other Einstein's behind the counter aren't breaking any records in customer service either. Literally the worst run operation I have to deal with on door dash in this area by far, PERIOD.

The lady messed up my order and denied to correct my order even after asking twice. The avocado tasted rotten and less cheese in my loaded hash browns. I went for a quick stop but ruined my stop.

Messed up our order, giving us one wrong sandwich and only corrected it after multiple requests. The bacon sandwich we got had the tiniest three pieces of bacon I’ve ever seen-each was about 2 inches long. When I asked about it, the guy said that was the standard amount. Unbelievable. Skip this store and go to a different one.

Worst experience at a dunkin donut. The lady there no customer service training full of attitude. They even don't want to to give you a receipt all when you ask politely

This was the worst McDonald’s I have been to. The food vas squashed, we had 4 cheeseburgers and all of them had only one slice of pickle and everything tasted off. Very disappointing.

Woman working the drive thru at around 9:40am today seems to think that getting extra condiments is a problem? I forgot to ask for extra at the window and went inside as it’s my fault. The young man promptly started getting my things but that woman in blue was just saying “I put one in there” while shaking their head and shrugging. It’s weird how they jump immediately to the defense when in reality I just needed to get some extra.

I had to use the restroom, and before i did my business, i looked at the toilet paper. It was empty. I checked the next stall and saw....napkins and a trash can! There was no toilet paper in sight in the women's bathroom. There was a work in the bathroom, so i told them. They told me, "I'll go get some," and they never came back.... My meal was 👍🏿

I didn’t think I could go to a worse McDonald’s and I’ve been to before, but this one is terrible. Dr Pepper didn’t work self check out didn’t work. She went to grab me some french fries that have been sitting there for 20 minutes and half full. Then she was surprised when I asked for a refund when she told me Dr Pepper was completely out in the restaurant meaning that they didn’t feel like changing it. Please close this McDonald’s down.

Need someone to teach these people how to wrap a wrap/burrito. It’s not that hard. Also, could’ve gotten me my food sooner if the cashier wasn’t busy gossiping/flirting with her manager.

OK, I ordered 2 Hash Brown and a Sausage McMuffin with no egg. I got 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 of them was a sausage McMuffin...but it had a egg and 1 hash brown. The food itself was as expected but the experience not so.

The lady at the drive through window could not understand a single thing I was saying and took forever to get my order placed. Do not go to this McDonald's!

I have to say unfortunately, my experience was terrible. I ordered a large Pike 15. Raw sugars on the side 2 cream on the side. I received my order the sugar's first. Then the cream. I had to ask for my large coffee which I received watery. I am currently trying to call the store back. It has been busy for 15 minutes.

In store service has been awful every time I’ve visited. Yesterday I ordered a simple tall black coffee. The cashier does not pour it as in other Starbucks. Sent down to the call in order end and waited for 10 minutes for one small black coffee. By the way, 5 people working behind the counter.

Usually no issues with this location, but on 08/31/2025 both of my coffees were big letdowns. Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew was nearly half cream (see pic)… like drinking a milkshake. Salted Caramel Sweet Cream Cold Brew was not filled with coffee and there was tons of cream added… what’s the deal with skimping on coffee?

So, the board that shows the progress of your order shouldn't say "ready" when what you ordered, and already paid for, all of a sudden isn't available! I ordered on the app and paid on the app and when I got there, after reading the board, seeing it says my order is ready and waiting for 15 minutes while the antisocial kids that work there fail to make eye contact or engage with any customers, only to be told that what i paid for Is unavailable all of a sudden. If you want a better experience go to Custom House Coffee on Aquidneck Ave. In middletown.

Katjia is an exceptional barista. She takes the time to engage with customers in the drive-through and build rapport. Talking with her was the highlight of my morning. Thank you for making the experience more than just a brief money-to-coffee exchange.

I love Starbucks, for its caffeine. Two days in a row, coffee was very watered down. Frappe and latte were off too. I love Starbucks too much to leave a review like this. Please don't do this. You have measuring system. Let me have my full cup of caffeine!

I went through the drive through on my bike and a worker that goes by the name of Gwen told us that we couldn’t go through the drive through so I went inside to order and the decided to not let me. Gwen then walked away very unprofessionally without addressing the situation. I then asked for its name and it took a solid 5 minutes for them to tell me so I could leave a review.
