The 12 best breakfast and brunch in Eagle Pass

Went a couple days ago and took my kids. We arrived before the lunch rush so about 11. The food was good but did take awhile to come out. My main issue was how dirty the place was. The floors were sticky and gross and the kids are looked like it hadn’t been cleaned…ever. The windows all had hand marks on them. It’s was just a very dirty atmosphere.

This place definitely needs some better management! The service is subpar and constantly dirty restrooms and dining area! Today I come in and the trash can is full and instead of changing it trash just keeps piling on top!

I’ve never had a worse experience at a Chick-fil-A. The restaurant was filthy—tables hadn’t been wiped down, the floors were sticky, and the trash bins were overflowing. The service was painfully slow, and when I finally got my order, the food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Definitely not up to Chick-fil-A standards. Won’t be coming back to this location.

Slowest service ever, my break was over before I got my meal and I ordered online and didn’t show up until 30 minutes After. Kept getting the run around by the manager and I had paid online.

This place was good when they first open.My food was cold and they don't give good costumer service like they use to.The restrooms are dirty. Del Rio is better and they give your food warm and restaurant is cleaner and costumer service is better.

I always love chikfila service. Everyone is always smiling and friendly and seem very happy working there. The food is always consistent in high quality and taste delicious.

We arrived and no one offered to help take our order, upon finding out where you order, there was a sign that said “mobile check in only” so we were confused on where to order. Once we figured out that was the only place to order, as I tried to order the young employee said for us to wait and someone else would take our order. Ok fine, when ordering we were speaking English to the young lady taking our order, and she continued to speak Spanish. Not an issue for me, but for my husband who doesn’t speak Spanish it would have been hard for him to order if I wasn’t there to assist in translating. It is common sense if someone is speaking to you in English, that you would speak English to them as some people don’t know any other language. Then as we tried to sit down all the tables were dirty and no one was cleaning them. The place was filthy, and when our food was given to us the guy just threw it to the table and placed our drinks on the table without saying which drink was which. All the chick fli a’s I’ve been too have been great! This one in particular left a bad taste in my mouth. I will no longer go there, I’ll make the drive and get chick fli a in Del rio, as they are respectful, clean, and attentive to the customers needs.

The food was very good — definitely a solid 4 stars. What really stood out, though, was the service and atmosphere. They have a team of high school–aged boys working together, and it was impressive to see how well they managed everything. Everyone was working, no one was idling, and they were all courteous and respectful. Their teamwork created a really positive dining experience.

First time here. The food was good but the service could use some improvement. I think the lack of sufficient staff may play a part. By the time we left more staff had shown up. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Food is good and reasonably priced. However: 1. No senior menu, so portions are too big for an older person. 2. Biscuit served with no butter or jelly. By the time the server came back to check if everything was okay, I had already finished meal. 3. Napkin dispenser near me was empty, so had to leave my seat to get a napkin.

Tried this place for brunch. It was delicious. Everything was cooked as requested. And portion sizes were plenty. Only my gravy and biscuits was cold BUT delicious anyway. Our waitress was on point.

If you’re feeling super hungry in the morning, this burger is perfect—you can even save half for lunch. It’s my go-to breakfast order, and I 100% recommend it! The service was also outstanding. The waiter who attended me was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming. I truly appreciate when employees show that they enjoy their job—it makes the experience even better! For those who love extra spice, I also ordered picante sauce on the side, and it added the perfect kick. If you’re looking for a great breakfast in Eagle Pass, this is the place to go!

It is Whataburger… get whatever you like. The special Dr. Pepper limited time shake is super tasty if you like the taste of Dr. Pepper. The spicy Ketchup is always amazing and the fries are the best around. It is open 24 hours and the place is clean and the staff is super friendly. Always a nice experience.

I always make a point to stop at Whataburger whenever I'm in Eagle Pass, and the one on S Bibb Ave is a great example of what makes this chain a Texas icon. The service is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. On my last visit, I ordered a Patty Melt and it was fantastic. The two beef patties, grilled onions, and creamy pepper sauce on toasted rye bread were a perfect combination of flavors. My fries were hot and fresh, and of course, the spicy ketchup was a must-have. The atmosphere is laid-back and clean, with a definite community feel. It's clear they take pride in serving their customers. It's a great spot for a classic burger and a true taste of Texas!

The burger was good, the fries arrived cold and I had to wait for another order of 3 to be made. By the time they were done everyone else was almost done with their burgers & my burger was warm instead of hot. We were also missing our drink cups & had to send the "server" back for them. Overall it was just okay which was disappointing because this was my first visit.

Food taste great as it should be whether you are in Dallas or Houston . The speed of service could be faster. Having one cashier only makes customers feel desperate. The kiosk was not working during our visit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a difference! I hadn’t visited the inside of this Whataburger in Eagle Pass for a while because lines were too long and it was getting to be too dirty, chaotic, and noisy. But today? Wow… The whole place was clean & calm. The place looked great. Every staff member was actively doing something—cleaning, wiping down tables, taking out trash. No long lines, no mess, no stress. It felt really good to sit down and enjoy a great burger in a clean, welcoming space again. Big shoutout to the manager and team working today at 4PM —whatever changes have been made, they’re great!

Service is awful, having to wait for drink refills. The table is slightly dirty still from whomever sat there last. Prices are way to EXPENSIVE for what you get..... BUT, the barbacoa meat is the BEST food they have. The wait-staff are unfriendly, don't "take care of their tables or customers" to well. I say this because we had to repeatedly ask for the same things before the task waa completed. Example: ma'am can I have more coffee? And then 2 to 3 times again before the waitress actually came to refill my coffee and walked away without asking if the table needed anything else...????... as in didn't even offer to fill my husbands coffee.... SHAMEFUL!!! Although when I'm in Eagle Pass, TX. I ask if we can stop to eat there at least once per visit.... all because of that darn barbacoa... it's just so flavorful and all meat... not to to greasy. Tortillas are awful, beans are like water and thinned out. Potatoes are barely ok. But... its just that darn barbacoa!!!

Great local spot with reasonable prices and generous portions. The breakfast tacos were loaded with egg. Joseph’s special was delicious as well. Will definitely be back.

First time going here for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday. It was quite busy, however sevice was great and the food was really tasty. The building and and parking lot could use some sprucing up. Inside the floor appears to have seen better days. The decor is walls of differing colors and mini piñatas throughout the ceiling as well as Mexican streamers. The dish I had was called Huevos Divorciados which is two fried corn tortillas, each topped with and egg and one has red salsa and the other red salsa. It came with a side of potatoes and redried beans. The potatoes had little to no seasoning and the beans tasty but also not overly seasoned. Typically this would be a bummer, however the salsa were spicy, specially the green one and so the blandness of the potatoes and beans helps with that. The red salsa had "cueritos" which is pork rinds/skin. I mention this because that wasn't listed. You also get extra tortillas of your choice, corn or flour. The tortillas both corn and flour were delicious. Do they sell them in packs to go? The coffee was seved in a foam cup. Since I've not been here before, unsure if that's new due to the pandemic or if they've always done that. It's also quite inexpensive. Overall this is. A good place to have a tasty and inexpensive breakfast.

I found out about this restaurant on google maps while working in Eagle Pass for a day. I’m glad I decided to eat here. The food was very delicious. The enchiladas were loaded and the carne guisada was very tender and tasty. The tortillas were good and the salsa verde was hot! Which is a good thing! The waitress I had was very attentive and fast. I’ll be back to try more items on the menu soon! 5 stars it is!

Great experience at Gaonas. I went during lunchtime, and though it was packed, we were able to get a table for 6. They seem pretty efficient in getting people in/out. The food was great and their homemade lemonade was awesome.

Unfortunately, Burger King has succumbed to shrinkflation. The originsl chicken sandwich is definitely not the same size as it used to be. Food portion decreased while prices increased. Additionally, personnel do not take the time to properly make or wrap them.

I order 2 stakehouse double burger. One of the burgers was missing a main ingredient and was squezzed from the buns. The other burger the onions that where placed seemed like they where the leftover from the bottom of the tray. Oh and when I called the manager was rude and did not give me a proper solution. She wanted me to take back the order and it's like mam I have to drive 30 min to get my order or money back for their mistake. Oh she try to blame it on me for not ordering right. Well guess what manager the receipt is Correct but the burgers are not.

I wish I could give no stars because they had horrible service, the drivethru lady was trying to hurry me up. Every time I said "can I have a #7 with a Diet Coke" and she replied the total. I told her I wasn't done and she said ok what else. And I ordered a whopper and again say the total but I still had another order. I think that's just rude because they r rushing me when I have 4 people to feed. And the second window just throws my food at me and slams the window, I sat there waiting to get ketchup and mayo for 5 min until he recognized me. There was no greeting and any one saying to have a great afternoon or to come back soon. McDonald's always has a pleasant greeting and smiling faces. I didn't get any of that here. Needs to improve on service and not to mention my food!!! My burger was stacked horribly!!! This place needs help or a new manager!!! I can't eat my bacon with my burger like this!!! I'm driving and can't fix it on the road!!!!

To be honest this was the place I came to after visiting Mexico and crossing the border obviously. My kids loved it especially because it had a big playground and the people at night are very very friendly. Although they might be young but they are very clean and I didn't have to wait so long for my food so that's perfect.

Went there March 05, 2025 around 8:00 p.m. Went to counter to order, a woman manager came out to the front, but she past us and went to greet her family visiting. We waited for someone to help us, but no one showed up until about 10 minutes. We placed our order and then that same lady manager the didn't provide us was taking her family bags if food. Wow! Happy they got their order place! Or was FREE FOOD?? Manager has an attitude problem needs adjustment. She acts like she owns the place.

stopped in to get a ice tea and set in the AC while I drank it.The thing I noticed the most is how clean and neat this particular McDonald's was.

It's not a good place to dine in, After the "remodeling " that was made the owners became very greedy. With all the changes that were made along with those changes they rush you out of the place. To top it off the soft drink machine is gone. You pay every time you want a refills. How more greedy can you get. My family and I don't go there anymore. I made sure to let my family and friends not to support a place like this where you can’t eat in Peace.

I've received kind service here, and my wait time has consistently been pretty short. I think once or twice I've hit mealtime traffic and the wait was longer, but still reasonable. I've always received fresh food, and I love the interior/seating area. It's modern and sleek, with calming decor featuring close up photos of plants. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because several times I've felt that the taste of the fries is better at the original main location.

Avoid Friday after school because it gets chaotic. When they miss something, which happens often, they do not trust you and check the cameras.

I’ve been to this McDonald’s several times, and they always forget something in my order. Is it really that hard to remember the fries? The first time, I thought it was just a mistake because anyone can mess up, but now I see it’s a habit. Sometimes they forget the straws, other times entire items, or even the fries. It seems like they don’t pay attention to orders, and it’s really frustrating to receive an incomplete meal after paying. To make things worse, the other McDonald’s in town has the same problem, although not as bad. Either way, it feels like both locations lack proper customer service and order accuracy. The worst part is that I live 15 minutes away from this McDonald’s, and having to drive back just because someone didn’t do their job right is a complete waste of time. I’m definitely not coming back. If you go, double-check your order before leaving because there’s a high chance something will be missing.

Ordered curbside and was waiting for more than 10 mins for one burger ! Had to get off and asked what was happening with the order they call the manager supposedly and he said it was there just like that. They had the order just there .

I asked for an oatmeal with 4 creamers. I spoke with the manager in the morning about the dry oatmeal they sold me and she told me if I wanted I could come back and see her redo my oatmeal. She promised that she did put the creamers on my oatmeal. I had to waste my time and go back and prove to her that she was wrong. The lady didn't apologize. I showed her the difference of how the oatmeals look with and without creamers.

Ordered online. Picked to get home and realize I have 20 nuggets not the 40 i ordered. I called and spoke to manager. He was very professional and apologized. Went back to grab the food it was ready for me. He included some extras for my trouble. Mistakes happen we will be back again.

on this day 4/6/25 i ordered the new chicken strips as a meal. my friend ordered at the same time and received it within minutes while mine took about an hour and the manager did not want to give me my food and told my friend to give me the money for the order i hadn’t received. very bad service and wouldn’t recommend.

We went here around 3. The people were extremely kind, easy to talk to, and the food was good. The workers were so kind and I liked talking to them. Definitely recommend this place!!

This is by far one of the worst Mc Donalds I have ever gone to!! First of all, let me point out...if someone begins to take my order in English and I'm responding in English, why do your employees then take it upon themselves to switch up to speaking in Spanish where I can not understand whats being said. She tated of by not paying attention to my orders. I had 5 orders and I wanted to pay for all of them separately using my credit card. Somehow after repeating it to her several times she still didnt do it and rung them all up as one order and ended up forgetting some of my items. Again she spoke to me in Spanish🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. I finally snapped. As annoyed as I was ,because mind you I was on a time frame, I corrected and reminded that person for the third and final time that I did not speak spanish. (BTW im blonde with blue eyes so she can't say I look like I spoke spanish and just because we are close to the border doesn't mean we are in Mexico. Everyone still uses English as their first language here.Then they had me waiting for my order which took as long as 10 minutes only to be missing a drink and then I had to argue with that person who again spoke to me in Spanish as if she thought i learned Spanish in 10 minutes that I was waiting for her to bring me my drink.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️and still she argued I was incorrect when I had a receipt and the items were in front of her so I had to go inside and repurchase a second drink making me late to take back lunch to a construction crew making them miss their lunch. Mc donalds is a family favorite for us but this type of carelessness is unacceptable.

The fried chicken seemed to be gold to the employees serving the plates. I ordered a 2 pcs fried chicken plate and requested to purchase an additional piece however the employee was what seemed amazed by my request. After catching her breath she advised me that she had already provided me with a leg I reminded her that I was purchasing an additional piece of chicken and to please serve me the chicken leg. Overall the chicken is tasty and the sides are good. Mac n cheese and Fideo.

Ordered a chicken sandwich, the bread falling apart - they put 2 chicken strips to make the sandwich - I couldn't eat it, was so disappointed.

We've visited twice. On my first visit, I ordered a sour dough, Jack. Not how I ordered it, I asked for no mayo on my burger. Instead, it was heavy on the mayo. My recent visit was marginally decent. I ordered a chicken sandwich, no mayo. This time, it was a decent amount of mayo. I left confused rather than enticed. 'It could be worse, in another Jack in the Box in TX. You'd need a haz mat suit, a visible haphazard mess.

It was awful. Nothing was fresh, chicken was all dried out, corn was mush, and so was the beans. I ate my biscuit. Took the rest back and got my money back.
