Very friendly server, she was very nice. However the manager has no manners and is extremely cheap. I've been to many winpys restaurants, this one cheaps out on portion sizes more than others. The egg omelette had barely any feta in it. Maybe the server should run the restaurant 😉

This place is an absolute dump. Was served the wrong food. Server was rude when I tried to clarify. Server conversing to regulars yelling across the restaurant. Actually gossiping about people they mutually loathed. Served me a drink in a filthy glass. FILTHY. 3 rings from it not being washed and dirty mitt prints all over it. And dusty. Husband's veggies were so freezer burnt they were like sawdust. I wouldn't eat here again if they paid me. Red head server.... worst server I've EVER SEEN. and I served for 15 years.

Absolutely the worst place I've eatan breakfast if you want to call it that. Ordered the pancakes and they were 10.97, when they came they were 3, 4 inch diameter pancakes was up sold strawberries and bananas which there were 4 little slices of each bananas were 3.00 and strawberries were 3.25 so 16.22 for 3 pancakes that were small and sucked. When I poured the syrup on them water came out of it whoever runs it, watered down the syrup, Man how cheap can you get. As said by others Waitress was very nice. Will never be back here again.

Had lunch there this week. It wasn't busy. There were 3 customers, including us. Unfortunately, it took a very long time to get my food. My husband and son were well into their meal before mine arrived. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap, and when it finally showed up, there was a very, very small amount of sauce in the bottom of the wrap, which was otherwise tasteless. The side of home fries were great, though. My wrap took a while, apparently because the chefs, which I assume are the owners, were too busy yelling and arguing in the open kitchen for all to hear. Then one of them went outside to yell at a window washer guy right in front of the window we were sitting at. We felt like we had pissed him off just for coming in to eat. The waitress was amazing and very pleasant in the midst of the tense atmosphere. I mean, I know it's for sale, but have some decorum when you have customers for gosh sakes. 😐

Worst food ever. Paper thin chicken. Cold clumsy gravy. Dry overcooked fries. Bill came to $106...that the server announced to the table..very unprofessional. Never going back.

Went into Stacked today with my husband and son. We had Kate as our server. She is absolutely amazing. Punctual, on point with service, offered HP Sauce & Peanut Butter to our meal after receiving it. No other server has done that in our 5 times coming here. Kate is super upbeat and positive and is an absolute asset to this location. When you go, be sure to ask for her. Thank you guys for a great breakfast today 😊

Great breakfast franchise, the food is consistent compared to other locations Pancakes were super fluffy! Everything came out together and was still hot when it arrived at our table, our server was attentive and friendly

We where travelling from Niagara Falls Ontario decided to stop to find a breakfast place to eat we pulled in the parking lot to google a place and we noticed that place so we parked and when in we where greeted right away we sat down and the server Hoosna was quick to great us for our drink order her smile and energy was super nice we barely waited for our food and the quality and taste was amazing. I highly recommend this spot it’s conveniently close to the exit. Again Kudos to Hoosna keep up the amazing work you do and I can say the same for the manager who came and clear out table. I unfortunately didn’t get her name but wanted to mention her has well.

(packed in the morning) crystal made sure the food was okay and all.. i told her that day, strawberries served were shy of being sweet/ripe, but that's not going to affect the 5-star experience! thanks Stacked (and Crystal!) until next time! (had make your own omelette, partner had the avocado-benedict thing) the wrap with nutella and bananas in it had strawberries on top (with cream) visit: feb 2, 2024 our server was awesome! the food was so-so this time around, perhaps because i didn't have what i liked the last time.. i had the hash, note to self, i do not like it, despite having mushrooms. omelette was great the last time i went.. 5 stars still, since the service, quality of food, consistently good! like better than good, great! omelette must try! 😀 went in with the the girlfriend, forgot what we ordered. everything was great. if you order something that's not a featured offer be prepared to spend though.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here – very old school and full of character, with great music and warm lighting that made the place feel cozy and special. The food was reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. The pumpkin ravioli was such a pleasant surprise – unique and full of flavor. The blue cheese burger was tasty as well, with a very generous portion. Our server was gentle, kind, and attentive, which made the experience even better. I wanted to try dessert but was simply too full – definitely a reason to come back again.

Attended with a group of 16. First, they were able to accommodate the group for dinner in a private room which assisted with chatting etc. Always thought of this fine restaurant as a breakfast or brunch location, never a lundin or dinner. Well, their dinner menu, albeit somewhat limited is excellent. You can chose from different hamburgers, chicken and fish. Don't expect as stated fajitas or other, it is the basics with refinement on how they are done and taste. Absolutely worth the experience to explore yourself and go from there. Will we be back? Yes.

We recently visited Buttermilk Café again, and as always, it did not disappoint! The burgers were absolutely fantastic, flavourful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into preparing the food. The atmosphere remains warm and welcoming which makes it a great spot for both casual meals and special outings. We noticed the décor has changed. I personally preferred the previous design, which was more authentic and warm. One of the things we truly appreciate about Buttermilk Café is its consistency. No matter how many times we visit, the food and service are reliably excellent. It’s become one of our go-to places for comfort food done right in Cobourg. Highly recommend it if you're craving a delicious burger. Looking forward to our next visit!

Stopped by for lunch — it was a great surprise! The food is classic but really fresh and flavourful. The carrot cake is amazing. Service is fast, and our waitress was very nice. 100% recommended!

I worked in Cobourg, commuting in from Toronto. Days that I knew would be particularly long, I would get into town early and stop in for a nice sit-down breakfast. Staff are universally polite and attentive. The food is delicious, without fail. The space is charming. Thank you for making my days a little bit brighter.

me and my wife had 2 eggs bacon 🥰with 2 sides….. first the flavour of the home potatoes are amazing 🤩 , second the perogees are next level 😍😍and the shredded potato is tasteful😇 and the service was wonderful!!! from quebec.

Im no chef but i do know how to season food, ordered mozzarella sticks which were very good, deep fried mushrooms, the coating was very dry and flavourless, i had the breaded chicken club with greek salad, the salad was good but again the sandwich was flavorless and dry, no mayo, i had to ask for some. My husband ordered a hot beef sandwich, he said it tasted ok but again it was dry. He also had the mac and cheese, which looked amazing but once again tasteless. Really dont recommend this place. Even their Earl grey tea had no flavor. And im not even kidding or exaggerating, sadly

Had 3 hours to kill while my car was in the shop so I decided to grab some breakfast. Staff was friendly and food was good but once I got my food I was essentially ignored until I was ready to pay my bill. Wasn't checked on by server or offered a refill on my coffee even when the table next to me was. I tried to ask for a cup at the same time he was offered one but the server filled his cup, never glanced at anyone else and put the carafe back on the coffee maker. I think with some basic training on customer service this could be a nice little stop for breakfast but sadly I doubt I'd return.

Took a quick stop here for brunch. I had Avocado Toast, it was good and had some sort of basil toppings. I liked that it came along with a small bowl of freshly cut fruits. We also tried its veggie burger along with the home fries, which was also good. Specially liked the home fries as those were fresh, crispy and hot. Their service was quick and friendly.

Seriously, this location just keeps getting worse every time I visit. I'm in Cobourg a couple times a week and usually stop here for a quick snack or meal, but it's been a steady decline. This time....like 20 minutes ago, I ordered a McFlurry with extra Smarties and Oreo, like I usually do with these. I don’t love plain vanilla, so I ask for extra mix-ins for that extra crunch. What I got barely had the standard amount....definitely not “extra.” When I asked the staff if they had added the extra, she said yes. I pointed out that it didn’t look like it, and instead of addressing it, she started speaking to her coworkers in another language. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. It was always way less than they usually serve. I won't return.

This rating is for the play area Only Period it mainly looks clean and fine while you are down in the seating area. But when I went up to grab my granddaughter I was literally disgusted with the grime it looked like it has not been wiped down in months. There's also crayon graffiti all along the rocks and all inside the slide but for me that isn't a dirty Health concern.

Got the Mc’Bread today. You heard me right, the Mc’breddle. Now I wasn’t thinking anything of it till I went to take a bite but as you can see I’ve been gotten by the oldest trick in the book. The ol’ cheese, pickles, ketchup and . So yeah whoever was constructing burgers on Oct 11. 2025 at 3:34 pm, you really gave me a goddamn heart attack when I bit into this monstrosity. Great drive through experience! Hot food, quick & courteous service. We picked up a few burgers and fries through the drive through after a day at the beach and the food was FRESH! Fries were so hot we had to wait a few minutes to eat them😂. All the food we ordered was great and service was good and quick! Was skeptical when I saw the many negative reviews, but glad they are trying to turn things around. Well done!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I had a very disappointing experience at the Cobourg McDonald’s. When I placed my order, the staff member was rude and unprofessional. Another employee, a lady named Toby, was even worse; she gave Hello Kitty crowns to white children but refused to give any to my kids. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and clearly discriminatory. It’s sad that in 2025, families still have to face this kind of treatment. McDonald’s should do better and ensure all customers are treated equally and with respect.

Our service was quick (we did drive through) but our food quality wasn't the best. We got ice cream, two basic vanilla cones (fine) and then two Cheesecake McFlurry's (not so fine). We did love the new container they come in however they were not mixed AT ALL. The top appeared good but after a few scoops the whole bottom half of both was sold vanilla ice cream, completely not mixed together.

I visited McDonald’s recently and was very disappointed with the condition of the washroom. When I went to wash my hands, the water was boiling hot, making it unsafe to use. I informed the manager, but instead of taking it seriously, she laughed and said, “Oh, you too burned yourself as well, it happens all the time.” If the staff already know there’s an ongoing issue, it’s unacceptable that it hasn’t been fixed. Basic facilities like washrooms should be safe and properly maintained.

Bathroom is disgusting, worst caulking job I have seen in my life and instead of cleaning it, they just spray paint over the filth periodically. Has I seen the Bathroom before eating I wonder have just left. The food itself was fine, I'm just a little worried Im going to get sick from it. Also, who has a fountain drink machine with no ice?

Awful experience. We ordered on the app. They didn’t have beyond meat burgers or strips. They made some substitutions and we ended up missing fries and a burger. Even more waiting. Worst A&W experience hands down. Don’t come here if you have kids.

The food was ok, on par with most a&w locations. I got the great Canadian. I’ve never been a big fan of the coffee at any a&w location, so while it wasn’t great it’s not really the fault of the workers. The store interior however needs major work. Dead flies on the window ledges. Fly tape dangling from the ceiling. Sticky floors. Sticky tables. Bad grease odour inside. I’d suggest just using the drive-thru at this location.

Hadn't tried A&W in a while and decided to stop in. Firstly it cost $67 for a family of 4 which included 2 kids meal, thats too pricy (paid $32 at wendys for a simular meal). The food quality was just soo bad. The meat is a strange tasteless artificial sponge like texture. I stopped eating the Burger halfway through and tossed it out. The onion rings were overcooked and tossed most of those aswell. The only good thing is the root beer. That will be my last time at an A&W.

Only been here once but didn't have an issue. Food was good, quick and hot. I overheard some others saying there order was for here but got a to-go bag. Washrooms were clean, tons of parking and a nice quiet atmosphere. The restaurant itself could be a bit larger especially for a standalone location - but it is hard to get A&W's in smaller towns so anything will do.

Not sure how when I ask for extra sauce I actually get less than the normal amount on my burger. Mind blowing how people have the hardest time following simple instructions but I guess that’s why y’all flip burgers for a living, can’t trust you to do much else.

Miserable people, barely edible food, and not cleanly at all. Food always makes us sick. Those are the worst bathrooms I’ve ever been in, smells like a porta potty baking in the sun.

I just went in and got two bagels with cream cheese, and iced capp and a large iced coffee. One of the bagels has barely any cream cheese, the amount of butter you would put on a bagel. I tried to ask for more cream cheese nicely and they refused. I am very upset and this has happened before as well at another location. Whenever I'd get a bagel with cream cheese before they would put plenty but now barely anything and even bare spots on the bagel. I am very disappointed to how tim hortons is becoming.

They refused to give me a box for a Boston cream donut. I told them I’m eating t later and don’t want the fondant off of it. I said I would pay extra for a box. (They charge for extra cups so could have just ran it that). Customers should always come first when it comes to something this simple. I have had at least 20 donuts with fondant on it get messed up from the bag. Do better.

There is one girl that works here, her name is Alisha or Alyssa, wears big glasses. This is now the 3rd or 4th run in with her, and I even wrote to head office already about her and her disrespectful attitude. Her customer service is RUDE. I was there yesterday around 2:10pm, and it was her on drive thru, she SCREAMED at us with attitude over the speaker, asking if we wanted anything else. We got to the window and I wasn’t surprised that she wasn’t the one to give us our drinks. GET RID OF THIS GIRL! And to the owner that will respond to this review… do better and listen to your head office. This girl is bringing this location DOWN.

Staff are very friendly. My complaint is this. I bring up my app while I'm in the lineup but,by the time I get to the window the WiFi is lost. So many times I have to leave without my order as I am using the app to pay and don't have my wallet with me! Can this be fixed? Maybe something is blocking the modem?

The service here is amazing! The nice guy at the window was named Ronel, he was fast, kind and efficient. The other ladies were also very kind,this store has a great atmosphere.

This location seems to be the quickest most of the time however there’s clearly a reason this one happens to be rushed! This is NOT the first time we have been disappointed and in a world when everything is so expensive yes I want my order to be top notch! When ordering at the drive through I was told they missed part of my order because they can't hear people ordering. Got it resolved but perhaps they should get a better speaker outside so customers can be heard and the employees don't need to guess.

Tim's has kept disappointing me; I'm not sure why they can't follow simple orders. It seems like they're just guessing back there what you order instead of actually following the screens they have.

I went to this Tim Hortons for a glass of water which I was willing to pay for and they told me that they aren’t allowed to sell me just a cup of water because of their “policy” so I reluctantly purchased a doughnut. I work at a different Tim Hortons and we always sell just cups of water, there is no “policy” against it. They also gave me the cup of ice water in a paper cup. I am very unhappy with this location and will not be returning until the staff learn how to do their jobs.

Some employees are good some dont even try. For what they charge now its not even close to worth it.

If you want your order to be correct do not show up to this Tim’s, there are 4 in town and I highly suggest any other one. Longest wait I’ve ever had, we ordered 2 bacon grilled cheese, only had bacon and bread for one. Made one On white bread with the cheese not melted at all. Cheese sandwich at best. Staff is a joke no fast food should take 20 minutes. They don’t care at all and I get that it’s not only their fault but it at least needs new management.

Yeah no thank you fly is the donut station. Also why are we free making the ice cap milk and just putting it in the counter? First of all it’s Dairy and you guys just just letting it sit there for I don’t know how long, fresh every 20 mins? You sure about that? It’s just disgusting pls fix this. I had such a great experience at this location of Tim Hortons! The staff were super polite and friendly, took my order quickly, and got everything just right. The coffee was really tasty and the bagels were fresh and delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Tim Hortons in general has gone down hill. Especially when there are no older workers leading the show. Today cross contamination was a real issue. I'm not allergic. I just ate it. But it could have been an issue! My creme cheese baggle had been cut with a Jam covered knife.

This Timmie’s has staff that truly care. I didn’t know that the breakfast belt had no mayo (unless requested) and when I expressed my disappointment they did not hesitate to offer a new one (on them) made the way I like. It’s delicious!! They are so kind and did not make me feel silly for asking or anything. I go here every morning and they are always fast, friendly and start my morning off on a good note!

Worst tim hortons in the area. Got stuck in their drive through one morning for 20 minutes because the workers inside kept messing up orders, and there were only 2 cars ahead of me. When I finally reached the window, they asked me to pay. I asked if everything was ready first. It was not, they hadn't even started my order. So I just left. Didn't want to get stuck for another 10 minutes waiting for a simple breakfast sandwich and a coffee.

Can your employees please be trained on how to properly put espresso shots with coffee? I have had to request my espresso shots to be poured OVER the coffee (which is how it's supposed to be done-elgin location does this -it's standard) because if I didn't, the espresso is poured first and the coffee ontop of it. The location across the street needs to be trained on this too. I drive to the elgin location since they do it properly even though your location is walking distance to me..I also had an experience where I requested the espresso to be poured last over the coffee and I watched the employee pour half the coffee into my cup, poured the espresso in AND THEN continued to fill the cup with more coffee 😡. Please train your employees that espresso shots are poured after and that includes ice cap red eyes. I had an ice cap that was pretty much the consistency of an iced coffee because they poured the espresso in first. Thanks for your time

This is around the corner from my daughters house. We stop through here regularly. One of the few locations that understand my humour, or actually answer the speaker properly. Never had a bad incident here, so you have my good review.

Lovely 😍👌👍 decor! 10/10 for such interior. I believe this could be a model for other Tim Hortons interior decor. Coming back to my rating...I assume this is newly opened branch and things are yet to be in order. But knowing Tim Hortons and their capabilities, any new facilities should be equipped with proper resources. I have no complaints against any stuff members but I must say they are not up to it! The person who took my order (in store), lacks energy SEVERLY. I saw someone correcting him not properly following the procedure for making a coffee. Another lady came in after me, who asked for FOOD, the person went back to check the stock and finishe the payments. After a while they came back and said they can deliver half of the order!! New store and may be crew members are not fully up to the speed. I know they will get better with time. But these issues can be looked into from day 1.

Very disappointed with the service at this Tim Hortons location. The drive-thru employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to repeat my order three times because he wasn’t paying attention, and when I asked to have my croissant grilled (something I’ve had done at this same location before), he first said it’s “not allowed,” and then changed his story saying the grill was broken. It was obvious he was lying and just didn’t want to do it. This kind of attitude is unacceptable — customers deserve respect and honesty. I won’t be coming back to this location again.

According to the posted hours, the store should have been open until 11 PM. However, when we arrived at 8 PM, the shelves were already empty, and we were told the store would be closing in 30 minutes. We asked if we could at least order tidbits, donuts, or cookies for the kids, but the server said no, explaining that there were no food items left on the shelves and none would be prepared but it was so beautifully decorated from inside.

I went to Tim Hortons around 6:45 today and ordered a wrap from the drive-thru. They never informed me that their grilling machine wasn’t working. Since I was on my way to work, I had to park and go inside to ask them to grill the wrap properly. They took a long time, gave it back just slightly heated, and still didn’t tell me the machine was broken until the third time. I was hungry and in a rush, and this lack of communication made me very frustrated. If they had simply told me from the beginning that the machine wasn’t working, I would have ordered something else. Very poor service — I will not be going back.

This place is super close, but I’ve always been a fan of the other Tim Hortons spots. But once I moved to this one, I really noticed the difference. They’re always so friendly! I never feel rushed through the drive-through, and they’ll even repeat my order to make sure it’s just right. Plus, they always have a smile on their face. Sure, all Tim Hortons are nice, but this one location, in my opinion, really goes above and beyond!

Tim Hortons in general has gone downhill big time lately. They are so focused on quick orders at the expense of quality. We were in the drive through with one other person behind us. They had us go around to wait for a bagel to be toasted even though the person behind us could have waited the 30 seconds. We get the bagel and it isn't even toasted, just lightly warmed up and almost no butter. This has happened at multiple locations in cobourg where I have to now ask for double toasted and it sometimes still comes out under toasted and dry. I highly recommend Holy Dough downtown Cobourg. They are very friendly and the food is amazing / consitent!

I've been there on 3 separate occasions and all 3 occasions have been awful, the wait in line takes for ever for someone to actually register you're there, it's like they don't take your order until there is a line worthy of their time. The customer service there is terrible except for 2 lovely ladies who it sounds like they don't work there anymore (good for them!). I ordered food, they had no tomatos asked for something extra said sure, but never happened. Ordered a medium ice coffee, got a small and when I told them I ordered a medium they gave me attitude, dismissed me like by me asking what I paid for was an inconvenience to them, all they care about is profit, not about customers. Absolutely do not recommend, worst Tim Hortons in this area.
