McDonald's, a well-established and enduring fast-food chain renowned for its hamburgers and fries, is often crowded with customers. To streamline the ordering process, patrons can utilize self-service kiosks to select and pay for their meals. However, on occasion, these kiosks fail to provide a printed or displayed number to identify orders. Consequently, individuals may find themselves without proof of their purchase amidst a long queue of twenty or more people.
This McDonald’s restaurant was nice in Rimouski. I noticed that McDonald’s restaurants in Quebec and or in Rimouski area are equipped with Kios only and the font counter looks very empty because there are no cash registers. Service was fast and food was fresh and tasty..
Prabhjot G — Google review
I don't know how they managed to serve cold and soggy fries during what was a very busy time, but they did. Didn't get the correct burger either. Coke was flat. Didn't bother to return the food. It was too busy and we were just passing through and wanted a quick bite.
Kevin B — Google review
Passed thru here for a quick bite and got just that. Food was good and served quick. Fries weren't the best though. Still I would come back if I was in the area.

At "9 resto déjeuner," breakfast is a delightful experience that combines fresh ingredients with comforting flavors. Start your day with their plain Greek yogurt topped with strawberries, banana, walnuts, and a drizzle of maple syrup for a sweet yet healthy treat. For something savory, try the dish featuring red onions, L'Arrière-Cour cheese, and two perfectly cooked eggs smothered in rich Hollandaise sauce.
Dropped in for breakfast here, and we were not disappointed. Very nice place, good food, good service and very clean.
Marc H — Google review
The food was really not great, like below average and I have decently low standards. The smoked salmon avocado toast was well-cooked, not raw at all (see image). Fries were overcooked in some spots and very salty (and I LOVE salt). Service was fair and normal. Tables were a bit small for four people. Also a massive piece of bacon hidden inside my fries which I ate by accident — not a big deal for me personally as I’m not vegetarian, but notable that I ordered a pescatarian meal that had a chunk of pork in it. Fair prices.

Le Crêpe Chignon is a laid-back café and creperie nestled in the heart of Rimouski, offering a diverse menu featuring mainly crepes, along with quesadillas, salads, and a well-stocked bar. The kitchen team takes pride in crafting unique homemade dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by antique decor and a snug patio. Guests rave about the generous portion sizes and flavorful offerings at reasonable prices.
Incredible food and exceptional service. The best chai latte I've ever had! There are many places in Montreal that charge double or triple the price without the quality of service, ambiance, or food. It's a very well decorated place with a curated menu full of flavor. A must go for Rimouski and surrounding towns!
Hannah K — Google review
Food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant, though slightly less lively than expected. Overall, a great experience.
Mia E — Google review
Visited on a weekday morning in September. It was not busy, just a handful of occupied tables. Got seated in about 10 minutes since walked in. Food was delicious. Service was slow though. It took more than 30 minutes for food to come to the table. Had to wave down staff for each coffee refill. I don’t think I will come back.
Constance M — Google review
Excellent menu! Be sure to arrive before 11am if you want to order from their breakfast menu.
Danny E — Google review
Tasty, fresh, healthy, nice discovery on our way to Perce. Highly recommend! Interesting choice of beers!
Marta Z — Google review
Nice little place to enjoy delicious crepes. They are vegan friendly as you you can "create your own". Their menu has savory as well as sweet items so it caters to both crowds. COVID measures are in place and followed here.
Carmen L — Google review
This is literally the best brunch I have ever had this year! So satisfied and be the good part of memories in our trip.
William L — Google review
Excuse the photos, as I'm not really sure the best way to take a photo of a crepe! The food here was excellent. Every bite was full of flavour, and the serving size was pretty generous for the price. I was left very satisfied after eating here. I ordered La Crêpe à Steeve, and I was really happy with how much of the ingredients could be tasted in each bite. The only note I would have is that it felt like our server left us for quite awhile. While she was very nice when talking to us, we waited quite a long time to order. When we finished our food, we waited a long while to order our dessert, but rather than ask us if we wanted dessert, they brought the bill. We then asked for dessert first, and taking our order for dessert took some time well... Both our meal and our dessert came quite quickly after ordering, so it was kind of frustrating to be made to wait so long just to order. Finally, when we did finish our dessert, it took us over 15 minutes of waiting to get our final bill, despite us trying to wave down our server. By this time, the restaurant was quite slow, so it was quite frustrating to be sitting there waiting. Again, she was very nice in all of our interactions, but the length of time it took for our server to check in on us was a bit much. Definitely dropped a 5 star experience to a 4 star. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Absolutely love this place! I will definitely go again. Beautiful shop! If they can ship my macaroons on the bus well daamn, id give them one hundred stars🌟 ⭐ I highly recommended this to everyone! A must stop if your downtown Rimouski! If you don't stop in well you haven't fully explored Rimouski. Enjoy
Tamara — Google review
We were there for breakfast, party of three. The crepes with bananas and chocolate were very disappointing and mostly left on the plate. Cappuccino was quite small, but fine. My chocolate pastry seemed to be under baked, but the waitress claimed that's the way it is supposed to be. The omelette (cheese, ham and veggies) was excellent, and the nut bread was fine. There was a large selection of tiny packaged jams to choose from. Overall, seemed overpriced.
Zachi K — Google review
Visiting Rimouski for a week and stopped in for breakfast. Staff/employee behind the counter was rude, our orders were incorrect, and the food was okay for the price. Considering there are other bakeries within a short walk on either side of this one, there are much better options to spend your money in Rimouski

Brulerie D'Ici is a charming local coffee spot that captures the essence of a cozy French café. Imagine sipping your morning brew from a soup bowl while indulging in warm, flaky croissants and delightful homemade jams. The menu boasts an array of sandwiches perfect for breakfast or lunch, but be warned—the homemade cakes are simply irresistible! Their carrot cake, dense yet not overly sweet, has garnered quite the reputation among patrons.
Excellent coffee, open early on the weekend, the croissants were warm and flaky. Shout out to the staff, who had a lot of patience with my bad french and handled my large order with aplomb.

Like to be in France and get coffee in a soup bowl with great croissants and homemade jams. Big variety of sandwiches for a more extensive than petite dejeuner. Danger: the homemade cakes. Addictive. Restaurant Normandin Rimouski is a delightful spot that offers a variety of classic dishes, perfect for any meal of the day. During my visit, I indulged in their hearty breakfast featuring a mix of sausages, crispy bacon, ham, and perfectly cooked potatoes topped with Hollandaise sauce and eggs. The flavors were robust and satisfying! On another occasion, I enjoyed their flavorful pizzas—especially the smoked meat one paired with pickles and mustard—which left me craving more.
Great fast service. Food was typical breakfast goods.

Went here once when we were on vacation in the town and then again on our way back as a pit stop. Food is good. We had pizza both times which was flavourful, especially the smocked meat one with pickles and mustard! I had breakfast the first time, which was good except the scrambled eggs, which were a bit brown. Sausages were juicy and potatoes nicely cooked and salted. Second time I had a club chicken. Meat was dry but otherwise good. Fries were crispy and delicious.
Josy B — Google review
I come here fore breakfast, so I am basing my rating on that. The service is usually good and fast. Usually. The breakfast is pretty standard. The bacon could use a look at... it's super thin. Potatoes are tasteless. That being said, I come back most mornings for breakfast. Toast with the home made strawberry jam is yummy. Plenty of parking.

I love almost being run over by delivery drives entering and exiting the parking. Its as if they dont pay attention to who they employ, or that the delivery drivers are paid poverty wagers, so they must drives recklessy to reach some quota

It's a relief to finally discover a restaurant that offers espresso coffee after an extended period of time. The establishment boasts an impressive menu and provides excellent service. The server had recently traveled to Australia, which adds to their experience and knowledge. This eatery is highly regarded by the local community, attracting a large customer base. In case communication becomes challenging due to language barriers, it is advisable to have Google Translate on hand for assistance with translating French.
If you’re looking for a quiet ambiance and a little something to eat, this is the place, service is very friendly, reasonable prices and alcohol served as well. Enjoy a quiet time , other little stores inside, (delicatessen) (breads) ( and a variety of different cheeses with a Boucher counter as well) also a gift and florist shop with sells chocolate as well.
Patricia — Google review
Ageist servers, terrible coffee, big slices of bread. Went here on a whim for coffee and milkshakes but got pressured into eating real food. After first sip of coffee we immediately realized this was drastic mistake. Even the smell was a complete turn off. They surely dumped an ashtray into every pot. The cappuccino however was sufficient in flavour. When the yogurt parfait was revealed, it was accompanied by two humongous Jesus sized pieces of Sahara like bread. However much to our relief upon the unfolding of the slabs of bread, we discovered it was buttered. Much to our satisfaction, it tasted heavenly. Especially with the classist strawberry jam. It almost outweighed the terrible coffee. Onto the decadent strawberry granola parfait. It was good. Was delightfully accompanied by a melody of exquisite fruit including a slice of orange, some lovely red grapes, one strawberry, a dry slice of watermelon, half a hearty banana and a delightful dollop of blueberries sprinkled into a pocket on the plate. Ambiance was neutrally bad, full of elderly lonely crossword puzzle solving Francophones. Were judged throughout our entire delightful meal. Will not be returning soon.

McDonald's is a timeless fast-food favorite, celebrated for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. Nestled conveniently inside Walmart, it offers a pleasant dining experience with welcoming staff who are both friendly and efficient. While the wait times can stretch during busy weekends, especially when crowds gather, the night crew shines in their speed and effectiveness. Whether you're looking to refuel during your shopping spree or simply craving a quick snack, McDonald's serves as an ideal pit stop.
The staff is friendly and efficient. Great place to grab a snack while shopping.

A good dine in experience with friendly staff. Located inside Walmart. The wait time was longer due to long weekend crowd.

Breakfast restaurant
Tim Hortons is a beloved Canadian coffee chain known for its signature premium-blend coffee, light meals, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. With multiple locations in town, it’s a go-to spot for many locals. The drive-thru service is impressively quick, even during busy times, ensuring you get your caffeine fix without much wait. Inside the café, the atmosphere remains friendly and welcoming; staff members are known for their cheerful demeanor and efficiency in handling orders.
Probably the best in the town, as we have 3-4 Tim's. Drive in is quick, inside is quick. Rarely mess up your order. Employees are friendly.

They forgot me once. I ordered at the drive-through, went to the window, waited 5-10 minutes until a guy comes up and says he forgot me so he had to retake my order.
Max C — Google review
Quality of food is random, place is either closed or packed.
