The service was very friendly and relatively quick. The restaurant itself is nice inside and you get a good view of the water. I ordered the mushroom risotto and sticky toffee pudding. The serving sizes are big, which helps to justify the price. The cheese on the mushroom risotto was the best part. The mushrooms are left a bit too big (would be better if they were cut up smaller). The dessert was good, but a bit lack lustre in flavour and it wasn’t warm. My friends got the apricot chicken and the gnocchi, which they both enjoyed. Overall I had a good experience, and I would dine there again.

I attended Fare and was instantly greeted by multiple welcoming staff. On the patio there was live music creating an engaging atmosphere. Our server Shannon was exceptionally attentive, accommodating and kind. I ordered the Korean Nachos and they were fantastic. I would definitely return.

Gastronomic delight. Fare serves up tasty dishes and friendly service with a lakeside view. Stopped by for dinner and got: - Fried Chicken: Chicken was juicy, skin was crispy and not overly coated, portion size was good. The mash, generous veggies and sweet-spicy sauce were perfect complements. - Brisket: Beautifully smoky. Of all the sides, the potato pave was really fun. - Coconut Cheesecake: Strong coconut taste, not overly dense. - Watermelon Margarita: Refreshing, with a good balance of sweetness and tartiness. Great outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Prices are on the higher end but reasonable for what you get. Service is topnotch. Overall, a great spot to visit for an elevated casual meal.

A nice gem on the water that offers great food and ambience. Took our mother for her birthday lunch and we all had the fish and chips. The food and service were excellent. It was too chilly to sit on the patio but will come again and check it out. There were 2 resident white swans floating on the window just off the shore.

Gorgeous spot by the water! Food was amazing!! We had the mussels, honey duck, and broccolini risotto, every dish was cooked and presented beautifully! Our server Erica was so polite and very attentive, highly recommend!!

We were driving back from Muskoka and needed lunch before getting back to the city. Came across this lakeside restaurant in Orillia. Felt more upscale than your typical bar and grill with very decent cocktail list. We had Caesar and Margarita with a beer. Caesar was delicious - salt rimmed with two olives and a small pickle. One of the best I've had in a while! Was recommended the apple brie bacon melt and also, delicious. Swapped home fries for a salad which was plentiful and a great refreshing sesame vinaigrette. Really great. Parking was easy, beautiful lake view and a farmers market was taking place next door. Also conveniently had a water fountain / bottle fill up station. Turned out to be a wonderful afternoon with comfortable and great tasting food. Highly recommended!

Rainy Tuesday in Orillia, very welcoming after the heat wave, while biking i stopped in to this cute and quaint cafe and shop. Needing some warmth on a 17 degree day i stopped in for lunch around 12:40 and ordered their last bit of French onion soup (small), pesto montecristo sandwich, and a medium coffee (Timmy's style). Positives: Staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Once you've ordered find a nice spot as the staff will attend to your order and deliver to enjoy your choices...view the local art on the walls, you may find your next art piece. Sandwich was hot, fresh, aromatic, and quite tasty. Coffee was hot, smelled fresh brewed, and welcoming from the dampness. Cons: French onion soup was tepid and felt as though the warmer was turned off hours ago...shame as I was hoping for a temperature like the coffee..hot. Price came to $24 which felt higher than it should, but I like to support local businesses...so will be back again. I recommend you give it a try... for the soup ask if it's hot and if not ask to have it heated.

Apple Annie's Cafe is right in the heart of downtown Orillia. It has a really welcoming environment with a wide range of drink options and items to eat. We juat came for some coffee, but have eaten here before, I recommend the Caramel Almond Danish, delicious! Coffee was also good! Exactly how I would have expected it! Would recommend!

I really enjoy stopping at Apple Annie's while in Orillia this weekene. They have delicious pastries, sandwiches and a number of wonderful hot and cold beverages. I most recently enjoyed the Iced Latte flight which was excellent! Definitely worth the stop while downtown.

Went for lunch and had a bacon, cheddar and tomato sandwich and potato soup! Absolutely delicious! The staff is great and super friendly! I also had a witches brew matcha latte! Really, really tasty! Fantastic place to go for lunch and a coffee!

This is our go-to place for food every time we pass through Orillia. The food is delicious, well priced, and they have a large variety of both eat-in and take home. We seem to always do both! As a bonus, the washrooms are plentiful and clean and the building is pet friendly.

I am very pleased with how my service is every time I come to Apple Annie’s. I’m always welcomed with a smile on the workers face and they’re always on top of their A-Game! The food is always delicious and the pastries are always fresh and homemade. I enjoy the soups that the team of Apple Annie’s makes as they are homemade as well. Coming here every day makes me feel at home when I enjoy making home made food at home myself. I would 100% recommend this place if you are ever in the orillia area. We stopped on our way to Algonquin Park area for lunch. Found it to be a little quirky but quite nice. We shared a Rueben sandwich as well as a chocolate croissant. The salty caramel coffee was perfect as well as the lemonade. Downtown Orillia is great town to stop and visit!!!

My wife and I were driving back from Muskoka to Toronto and decided to stop by Whimpy’s Diner for a quick bite. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing — everything was already cleaned up, but the staff kindly told us we could still sit down and eat, which we really appreciated. We ordered one burger to share and some banana-chocolate crepes to go. Mikaela was very kind and welcoming — special thanks to her for that! The burger was delicious and juicy, but the fries had a noticeable taste of oil that had been reused multiple times. Unfortunately, the pancakes we took to go were quite disappointing — one of those cases where the picture on the menu looks much better than the real thing. Aside from that, we really liked the place — it has that charming 1960s diner atmosphere, great design, very clean interior, and excellent service overall.

Our waitress Taylor, made it a great experience! She was very sweet, fast, friendly and helpful. The food was great as it has been my 3 previous visits. Keep it up Wimpy’s!

Just had the breakfast poutine. Omg!!!! One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had!! What’s not to love about this restaurant? The menu is huge, the food is always delicious and the staff are great. We love this place.

Always a Great diner experience. I only go for the chicken and waffles eggs Benedict if I'm being honest. I haven't had dinner here in more than ten years. I'm not a creature of habit and usually try all things on a menu that I either haven't had or don't recognize, but this is a favorite of mine and I can't help it!

My boyfriend and I go here once a month the staff at this location know us well by now, they are always extremely friendly and since we go here often they are always so accommodating. Drink even before we sit ! I love the staff here it’s always a great visit every time we go.

I love this spot. It’s been awhile since I’ve been but the atmosphere and service never disappoints. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I was feeling a little sassy today so i wanted to level up my Goddess benedict with a Belgian waffle. Never going to have a boring English muffin again! As I write this the mild sweetness of the waffle and zest of hot sauce are still intermingled on my palate! Thank you for the culinary delight!!!

Food was outstanding, along with the service! We shared the eggs Royale and the potato 🥔 pancake was very tasty! Unlimited coffee was a nice touch! Didn't catch the server's name, but he was amazing serving all the tables solo, keeping everyone's coffee cup filled! It was a really nice choice for breakfast for our visit to Orillia!

Best breakfast in town! Happened across this gem last trip to Orillia, so we HAD to come back when we found ourselves there again. Small, carefully curated menu with some amazing stand-out stuff: breakfast wellington was new to me, but I devoured it! Staff was friend and attentive, and the coffee was great. No notes, please do yourself a favour and go!

Nice upscale breakfast place that opens till 3. We had a delicious meal here. A meal is different than a traditional diner breakfast with some effort towards making the dish better and on presentation plating. Portion sizes are on the smaller end which worked well for us. Would return.

Ordered an egg mcmuffin with extra back bacon- checked to make sure item was in the bag - all good - go to eat and turns out i paid extra $$ for no back bacon!!!! Come on. Has a slip that extra back bacon and you give me none - thanks- great start to my day - and FYI an egg mcmuffin is really gross without the back bacon.

On line order pick up was delayed. I was was waiting an extended period of time just for a coffee and yet new orders were being taken and served ahead of my order. I finally got the attention of someone and they found my coffee sitting on their counter, so it was ready all of about 10 minutes. The staff never called out my name or #.

Mig Bac anyone?! LMAO!!!!!!!!! Not the first time this happened at this location either. Gave service a 2 just because the manager kindly replaced it with a proper burger (not inside out) and gave me a voucher for a free meal.

Insanity. We went there last night at approximately 11:30 pm and there was a line up of 6-7 cars. We sat for a half hour and one car moved in the other line. I walked to the front and asked the person if they had heard anyone and if they could let us out. The woman came over the pa and said she was working alone that might and working as fast as she could. By that time there was a line of 20 cars. One car said this is a usual thing for this location. Just wild.

In the drive thru, I waiting for about 5 minutes for someone hey hello through the speaker. Ordering was fine. Then I ordered a quarter cheese BLT and a sweet chilli chicken wrap. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the chicken. The BLT had a very sad amount of lettuce and the wrap had a piece tomato in it, even though it comes without.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a drive thru. We were coming home from a concert 5 minutes away at Burl’s Creek, and as this place is the only food open late you’d think they’d have enough staff on to cater to what will obviously be a lot of customers. Instead we waited for 40 minutes in the drive thru, in a span in which they served a whopping 3 cars. Three cars in 40 minutes! Then when we finally got to order, we were told we couldn’t order the amount of food we wanted and waited for because they were understaffed. That’s not our problem. First time I’ve ever had a fast food joint tell me I couldn’t order something. Brutal experience. Won’t be back, and I’d wager the dozen cars that drove away who got sick of waiting won’t either.

Delicious, high quality specialty coffee - their medium roast in a flat white was super smooth with subtle chocolatey notes. Had to get a bag of their freshly roasted beans to bring home! The interior decor is so cool & cozy, perfect laidback atmosphere. There are endless little items and details to look at, and it's clear that every piece & design was meticulously chosen with care & intention. The patio is also lovely in the summer, and the staff are very sweet & approachable. Very highly recommend making the trip up even from out of town :)

Hidden gem café! The drinks were great, though definitely on the sweeter side—next time I’d go for half sweet. The strawberry matcha latte and chai latte were both really good, just a bit too sweet for our taste.

yummy coffee. croissants are not sweet which was really nice. great lil spot. watch out for the hidden step. I tripped on it every time I went in since it is dark in there. the step is not painted yellow for folks to actually see it. that's all it needs, a spot of bright paint, that's the only thing I'd improve.

I enjoyed the coffee they served us, HOWEVER, when I asked the gentleman to recommend a coffee bean to take home, he recommended one of their most expensive coffee ($25 for 227g) from Brazil. Upon purchasing, I did not see a roast date on the bag so I went back and asked him. He then took the bag and placed the date on it with a marker (to 5 days prior). I have my own espresso machine at home and enjoy buying different beans and experimenting. This bean was terrible (he said it’s from the award winning barista). But I genuinely believe this coffee was too old (definitely not 5 day old roast)!!!! I could not extract any flavour out of it but bitterness no matter how many times I changed my settings. I really did not appreciate this at all. Even though the coffee we had there was very nice, I would not return.

Went in early for weekday breakfast and it was steady in there! Great weekday special deal for breakfast. We used our buy one get one 50% off coupon and really enjoyed our breakfasts. The portions are huge so order accordingly! The gluten free waffle for the breakfast sandwich was amazing, I’d never know it was gluten free. My wife loved the maple infused waffles as well. The food came so quickly! Friendly staff and great customer service. The bathroom was spotless. We’ll be back for sure!

We had great experience at stacked today. Had their California burger (13.99 on tuesdays)which was really good had lots of flavours and their express breakfast which was standard Canadian breakfast.

We arrived around 8am and were surprised to see how busy it already was, which is always a good sign. The staff were welcoming and quick to seat us. The atmosphere inside is bright, clean, and comfortable—just the kind of place you want to settle into for a relaxing meal. One thing that really stood out was their early bird special. If you arrive before 9am, they offer a full breakfast for just \$6.99. It’s hard to find value like that these days, and we appreciated it. Our meals arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as we ordered. The portions were more than generous—I ended up sharing part of mine with my dad and we both left satisfied. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. I ordered a dark roast coffee, but it was made with way too much milk, completely ruining the flavor. It didn’t taste like dark roast at all. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue at this location. I expect better attention to detail, especially when it comes to something as simple as a coffee order. First and last visit at this Starbucks. Never had a barista give me attitude while asking a simple question, also never have been walked away on before asking my (very simple) next question… which was “can I have a straw”. I’ll definitely be going the long way to work so I can receive better service. Also the longest wait at Starbucks drive thru I’ve ever witnessed, might as well go a different way to avoid this location specifically.

I ordered a iced London fog. Waited 15 min even though it said 3 minute wait. I had to ask and no barista even asked me what I was waiting for until I asked. Really bad service for a drink that is extremely expensive.

Stopped by the café to try their famous banana foam cold brew — and it did not disappoint. Smooth, refreshing, and the banana flavor was spot on without being overpowering. Definitely lives up to the hype. Only suggestion? Install some ceiling fans! The staff were working hard and it was clearly warm behind the counter. A little airflow would go a long way to keep the amazing team cool while they serve up the good stuff. Great drink, cool vibe, just needs a breeze!

Pretty good coffee shop! I feel like the vibe is personally better than the coffee, but thats just one man's opinion. We got the cold brew coffee, they were decent, but small. Lots of cool things you can pick up whether it be coffee, coffee attachments, or even alcohol! A little bit of everything for everyone. Good spot to stop if your looking for something quick!

Everything you wish for at a local cafe. Great coffee, various seating options, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and delicious treats! They do have parking spots for 2 vehicles right in front of their storefront.

I am a regular at Lone Wolf Cafe! It never disappoints. The atmosphere day or night is amazing. My favourite drinks are the lavender latte and the beetroot latte. They will also make you a tasty mocktail during after dark if you request it! Great for a family outing, to go coffee, or meeting up with friends on the awesome patio!

Super cute cafe with delicious coffee and matcha drinks, and lovely art and plants inside. There’s a small cozy patio and comfy chairs also inside. Perfect for small groups or to come alone and work. They also sell cocktails and canned and bottle wine and cider. Definitely recommend if you’re in Orillia!

A hidden gem in Orillia! I love the rustic vibe/atmosphere. There are a few patio sets outside which is perfect for warm weather. I ordered a muffin and it was not too sweet but delicious. I shared it with my baby and she loved it. I also ordered an iced matcha which wasn’t too bad. I’d definitely come back and try their other drinks!

Always a good time at lone wolf!! Amazing cafe during the day with great lattes, and we have alap enjoyed their night time “after dark” series. Lots of local food pop ups around dinner time on weekends, and a great cocktail list on their cute patio!

This is a true local spot. We discovered it two years ago on a trip. Every time we leave Toronto and head north we stop at Timmy's for a true diner-style breakfast. The place is always a busy spot but you never have to wait long for a table. There is a large patio as well, so that may help during the summer months. Food is typical diner-style options and portions are plentiful. The staff has always been welcoming and eager to help out and chat with patrons. I can see why it's a busy spot with lots of locals supporting it. Coffee cup was always topped up and the prices are affordable. Always curious about the pictures on the walls, they are of the Philippines. We will need to ask next time we visit.

Updated Review June 3/2025 – 3/5 It has been a couple of years since my original visit to Timmy’s Diner, and after hearing a few friends say they enjoyed their experience, I decided to give it another try. The booths are in heavily used condition but super comfy 5/5 for seating comfort. We ordered two breakfasts. The food was decent overall a simple breakfast. My eggs were well-cooked, and my daughter enjoyed the home fries. Personally, I am not a fan of the home fries. The omelet however, was missing the cheese. It took about five minutes to get our server’s attention. When I let her know, she offered to bring a side of shredded cheese. I declined since the omelet was cold by then and asked if she could remove the cheese charge from the bill. After we finished eating, we waited again to get our server’s attention for the bill. The male owner eventually noticed and brought it over. The charge for the cheese was still on it. The server, who I believe is the owner’s wife, came over and adjusted the bill. She returned it without any explanation, even though the total was higher than it had been before. She had added the chocolate milk charge, which she had originally forgotten, but did not communicate this and just handed us the payment machine. This could have been approached a bit differently. No acknowledgment or compensation for the errors. The diner was busy and seems to be a popular spot for seniors who seems to appreciate the options of smaller meals and affordable prices. However, my overall experience did not feel much different from the first time. The service felt a bit disjointed and disconnected, lacked warmth and attentiveness. I would give it a 3 out of 5 overall. For me there are a few other restaurants I enjoy better for breakfast. ⸻ Original Review – 3/5 We came for breakfast and lunch during our first visit. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When I think of a diner, I think of fresh, homemade, comforting food, but most of what we had was frozen and/or fried. The fries and home fries both cooked from frozen. The home fries, in particular, were undercooked and had a strong paprika seasoning that made them taste and smell off. The rye toast that came with the breakfast was just two small end pieces, about 1.5 to 2 inches long. Most restaurants avoid serving toast ends, or at least add an extra slice. This was an interesting experience. The hamburger, which was said to be homemade, was decent. The coffee was lukewarm, and we were not offered refills. Another guest mentioned the same temperature issue to the owner’s wife. Instead of offering to pour a fresh cup or brew a fresh pot, she opened the lid, saw steam, and said it was fine. The guest did not receive a fresh cup or a refill either. Overall, the food did not meet expectations. When I go out to eat, I hope for something better than I can make at home. That was not the case here. This visit felt like a 2.5 star experience. With fresher food and warmer service, this diner has the potential to be a 4 or 5-star spot.

Came in with a friend for lunch and was disappointed with the menu. I think if we had been there for breakfast we would have enjoyed it more. Breakfast menu looked good. I decided on the wings, ordered Cajun to be told later they didn’t have it so I went with franks. The wings were very good. Large juicy.

We were hungry after checking out of Casino Rama resort and found this diner. Fresh coffee hit the spot. Cheese omelette was good, the home fries were the best and the buttered rye toast topped everything off. Service was professional and fast.

We went to this little diner for the all day breakfast. The food was generally excellent. However, the owners should make their own homefries from real potatoes rather than serving the frozen kind, hence my lower mark for food. Coffee was hot, delicious and kept coming. Service was definitely “too” friendly, as another reviewer said: it becomes intrusive. I would recommend adjusting this. This is a good option, though, for breakfast.

Pretty solid Bagel store at the top of downtown Orillia. Decently quick service for the long line that you have to wait in. We arrived at 9am when it opened, with already 6 other groups in front of us. We got the original and the vegetarian bagel, both were made well and the bagels were nice and fresh. Overall a decent spot to eat!

Got a couple of sandwiches (the smoked salmon and the original) and also tried the stargazer (blue matcha and chai). The bagels were chewy and dense with a pretty good amount of protein and toppings (though the salmon was pricey for the size). The stargazer was a fun drink both in look and taste. People are welcoming. Vibe is casual. Place is small but has a few tables to dine in. Hugely popular local spot, so expect lines and maybe waits if you don't het there as they open.

Soft , spongy and fresh bagels at Poppies Bagel Company, Orillia. Freshly made food, espcially baked good are a bliss. This place has history and keep well with it. Tried out the bagels and their cream cheese on consecutive days over a weekend for breakfast and it was delicious experience. Lemon Poppy Seed bagel was a hit and so was the olive cream cheese. Summer times lemonades are one of their attrcations and the ginger lemongrass lemonade is yumm Place is tiny and busy ( weekends are busier) and it would be tricky to enjoi your food onsite seated at the small tables. One could however enjoi dowtown vibes and eat out on the benches outside Bagels are slightly expensive compared to alllother bagels spots but freshness and taste somewhat make up for it.

Hands down the best bagels I have ever had. The sandwiches were delicious and the latte was amazing. Cool atmosphere and ultra friendly staff.

What can I say? I’m here every week for a breakfast sandwich on a cheddar bagel. They make great cold brew coffee, and their cinnamon buns are 10/10. Never change, Poppies.

Holy Moses, these bagels are amazing! Soft with a beautiful crispy top! I had vegan cream cheese and smoked salmon, on an everything bagel, and it was absolutely divine! Best texture I think I’ve ever had not heavy. Busy place, super fresh presentation, cheerful atmosphere and kind stuff. I will be back!!! Oh, also interesting products like a concentrated coffee you can purchase to make at home beverages, decaf, as well as caffeinated, specialty concentrated, chai teas for the same purpose. Interesting stuff Very thoughtfully sourced.

Cant recommend Poppies enough!!!! The bagels are FABULOUS and the drinks are just as tasty. The staff is so very helpful and kind… I have a few allergies which are they are also really knowledgeable and considerate about. Love love love the new feature cream cheese…. Honey siracha (but dont miss out on the classics either… scallion and regular)!!!! Great vibes for a cozy Saturday morning.

Sunset Grill – Friday Before the Civic Weekend. Only two servers were working, and they were clearly juggling a lot—taking orders, cleaning tables, seating guests, and handling payments. They did their best under the circumstances. The breakfast was good—flavourful, potatoes were blah. Coffee was fine. There was some disorganization, and while it was busy, it wasn’t a full house. It might’ve helped if some of the back-of-house staff could’ve stepped in to support—clearing tables or setting them with utensils and napkins—to ease the pressure on the servers

Halie and Jasmine were incredible servers and we were so cared for throughout our visit despite it being quite busy in the restaurant. Thank you for the amazing service and lunch! ps. looked like the kitchen staff was killing it behind the scenes so shout out to them too!!y

I'll start off by saying that I've been too other Sunset Grills and love their food. I have never had an issue with anything. On Friday morning we (3 of us) attended the Orillia location as we were passing through town. Walked in at 9:05am. Place wasn't busy and had 2 waitresses working. We sat ourselves. Didn't get coffee or any communication with our sever until 9:40. Ordered our food and waited. 4 other tables who came in after us got their food first and 2 tables who came in after us got up and walked out after being ignored for several minutes. Our waitress never offered to top up coffee or anything and was grumpy when taking our orders. At 10am we still hadn't gotten our food so I asked how much longer as we had to leave. Waitress rudely yelled that it'll be ready soon. We waited until 10:10am then decided to tell the waitress that we can't wait any longer. She rudely yelled across the restaurant to the cook staff to cancel our order. While I was paying $10.14 for 3 coffees, she started berating me so I calmly asked her why she had such an attitude for something that I didn't do. Zero response... I will not be going back to that location.

We had breakfast at Sunset Grill today. Food was good and the service was amazing. Halle was our server. She was friendly, polite, and professional. Very rare to get good service like this anymore. The other server was very friendly, polite and professional as well when helping bring out our food. I highly recommend going for the service alone. Great way to start the day!

Really pleased with my service and the restaurant in general, but the meal was fantastic! Poached eggs cooked to perfection and the pancakes fluffy, but the PEMEAL???? WOW!! Easily three times the size of any peameal I've ever had in any other restaurant! Thickly sliced and large size!! Excellent meal!

We always have such a great experience at Sunset Grill! Jasmine is an amazing server - so friendly and attentive. Halie is also great. And the food? Wow! You can tell Karan the cook knows what he is doing. Everything is always cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. Five stars all around!"

Waitress was grumpy. I waited patiently with 5 little kids for over 30 min. No drinks or anything. Got up to quietly leave and the waitress stormed over slammed a water cup down and asked angrily if id leave still. I stayed and we enjoyed our meal Was not impressed with her attitude. The restaurant was not busy and had two waitresses working.

I usually don't share reviews that much, but I just could'nt help myself due to my recent experience. I ordered Cilantro lime veggie loaded wrap and an Ice coffee from this Tim’s on Friday around 6pm as I was on my way to Ottawa and wanted to grab something for my way. Around 6:30pm (15 min away from Washago) when I opened and was shocked to find that the wrap had Chicken and bacon even though I ordered a meatless wrap. I Immediately called their number and mentioned it to them regarding it. The guy who answered my call was totally cluesless, he mentioned it was buzy and all. I mean their was noone behind me and were only 2 cars ahead me. Bottom line, This is highly unacceptable. I could’ve been allergic or it could’ve been absolutely against my belief system. This is serious and should never be repeated.

The evening staff are why I’m writing this review. They’re always sweet, personable, and all-around friendly - even at the end of the day, often right before closing. Not everyone makes an extra effort at these times - I’ve found the staff here do. It’s appreciated and makes me look forward to stopping on my trips up Highway 11.

The staff was amazing. I can not say enough about how pleasant and kind they were. I had a large order and they were so patient about it. The young lady at the counter was AMAZING! SO AMAZING!! The store front was spotless. All smiles from all the staff and extreamly well mannered. I can honestly say I have never had a nicer experience in a Tim Hortons in my 40+ years. (This happened a few days ago.) I came in after a really rough day, went to order a coffee and was treated with the utmost kindness and respect by the person working counter, I believe his name was Michael? Made my day a bit better and I definitely will come here again.

I have been a little dissatisfied with this Tim Hortons as of late. I am not a huge user of any of these type places. However I am up to 3 consecutive visits to this store and 3 times my order has been messed up. Coffee instead of hot chocolate, regular lemonade instead of a frosted lemonade, and today a blueberry muffin instead of a chocolate chip muffin. I also had to ask for my 2 timbits for my dog which I bought and paid for. I went there today thinking my order would be wrong and I was correct......

I have noticed that some employees at this store are frequently using Punjabi and Hindi while attending to customers. In addition, a few of them often use inappropriate and vulgar Punjabi words while talking among themselves, even in front of Indian customers and their colleagues — including female staff members. As i also belongs to the Punjabi community, I find this behavior very unprofessional and disrespectful. It creates an uncomfortable environment for both customers and coworkers. I believe it would be better if staff members maintained professional language standards while on duty and communicated in a respectful manner, especially when serving customers.

I asked for hot oan cakes and they were given to me cold I asked if I could get hot ones and the cashier was rude like I offended her.

Might be the smallest A&W ever 🤣 Staff were great but only 1 table and 4 bar top chairs so 6 seats total. It's tucked away in the back corner of a gas station. Nothing wrong with the food just tge amenities.

The food was great but we felt sorry for the staff who were literally running to cope with orders. They were understaffed by at least a whole person which can happen, however if this is an employer decision, it needs to change. Not fair to the hardworking, likely minimum wage employees. Note that for seating there are about four barstool type chairs at the window total so we didn’t eat in.

Went to this location for the first time and so I went through the drive through, the employees weren’t nice while speaking as you can tell by their voice as it seemed like I inconvenience them by asking price difference on an regular poutine and sweet potato poutine. I can say that when I got my food it was good

Every time I go to the Atherly Road Orillia A&W, close to my house, I place my order pull up to the next window and then turn my car off. Its always a good wait. Even if i order just 2 buddy burgers. Dont go here if ur un a rush. Food is good other than the long wait. Doesn't matter if there is only one car ahead of u. Wage saving to the extreme !

Needed a quick breakfast on a service call up north and this place fit the bill perfectly. Fantastic service and great staff made for a pleasant experience. Recommended.

We stopped in for gas decided to pick up a couple of teen burgers for a treat well it was very disappointing not anything like the teen burgers we've had in the past sadly we'll not return if this is the new quality of the burgers

I can’t believe what just happened, I feel sick knowing how many times I’ve eaten here in the past. I place my order and paid in CASH, the cashier took my cash and gave me change. She then proceeded to my hamburger. She did not wash her hands and she did not put on gloves. When I questioned her about it, her response was very concerning, she said “I wash my hands all the time, I just came back from break and washed them” when I explained to her that she just handled cash and her hands are now not sanitary she just looked at me blankly. I asked for a manger and she told me she was the manager. This place needs a visit by the health department.

Was on our family road trip and about to have lunch in this location. Only to my surprise, the person taking the order was very rude, raising his voice while I’m customizing burger order for my family, haven’t finished and pushed me to pay and got angry when I said I’m not done with my order. I stopped and asked if he was OK, and he kept rumbling. I decided to leave this place and moved to Popeye’s next door who treated us better.

So, today we stopped in for lunch. And it's busy as to be expected with the orillia fair going on. But what i saw while there blew my mind. The drink despenser was missing one of its little black knobs that controls the syrup to water mixture. ( Fuze ice tea ) it was spraying all over when used. Once an employee was notified. ( the cashier) walked over to find the little black peice on the ground under the table. Without a second thought she whipped it on her shirt and stuck it back onto the machine. 🤯 didn't take it back to rinse with warm water or bleach just stuck it back on the machine. I worked in restaurant/ kitchen and that is soooooo bad. Please have a word with your employees about the significance of clean kitchen / clean surfaces for dafe operation of a restaurant. The employee in question was a female with black and blonde strips in her hair. Sorry to call you out but that's not using your head. Also 1 small garbage can inside is ridiculous. Have one by the door I had to walk through 10 people to toss out my trash while they waited for their food.

This is a fairly typical A&W. The price is used to be higher than most other fast food locations, but these days A&W is about in line price-wise with pretty much every other option out there. The advantage now becomes that the quality of the food at A&W is better than all the other fast food locations, and it's also a Canadian business, which is more important than ever these days. Can't go wrong with the Papa burger and fries. Would recommend

That was the worst meal we have ever had, the second time our onion rings have been burnt to a crisp, and no dipping sauce in the bag. Always at drive thru! I know you wouldn’t serve burnt food to the people in the dining room but don’t seem to care about the drive thru. Won't be back anytime soon!

Make sure to double-check your order at the drive-thru. This location often gets orders wrong, it’s happened to me twice now. Today, I placed an order with specific modifications. When I went back to have it corrected, they still forgot to make the changes. By the time I started eating, the food was already soggy. It was a frustrating experience and a complete waste of time and money.

Friday, 13 June 8.45am. Guy at front desk named MAX was rude like hell. Like He was giving food for free. He is getting paid for his work. We are paying for the food. There is no need to be rude at an F&B place. This guy is an example of poor hospitality. I am lucky Google do not allow anyone to delete reviews.

The food is alright, but the atmosphere was not that great. The dining area was a complete MESS. We could only find one table that wasn't covered in pop or food, I've worked fast food, there is always an opportunity to clean up, this was gross.

My friend and I stopped by McDonald's for dinner and spent around \$25 total for the two of us. The service was fairly quick, and the staff were polite. We ordered a couple of combo meals, and while the food was hot and as expected, it wasn't particularly impressive. The fries were fresh and crispy, which was a highlight, but the burgers felt a bit underwhelming in flavor and presentation. The dining area was clean, but the atmosphere was quite loud, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, it was a decent, no-frills fast food experience — good for a quick bite, but not something we'd go out of our way for.

The Orillia McDonald's continues to be the worst one I've ever been to. Machines Airways have something wrong with them. It's not clean. The Pop is warm. Out of ice. Food is a mess. Stale burger buns. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

Worst service I’ve ever received at any fast food restaurant. Definitely don’t go if you are in a hurry. Waited over 20minutes after going through the drive thru for egg McMuffins?!? Had to call the restaurant and inquire if they forgot about us. After being told they would be out “in one minute” several minutes later they finally came out. Can you even call this fast food at this point? Zero apologies. Zero customer service. Will not be returning.

I don’t know why we keep stopping here or how they’ve been around for so long. It’s consistently slow and at least once an order something is wrong. Today took the cake. My husband is a celiac and we ordered the grilled chicken poutine, and what we got was the breaded one, rendering the poutine useless to everyone because of spice and cross contamination. Places like this are meant for quick accurate service for people on the go, and to continue on a travel route only to be disappointed by what’s in the bag is disheartening.

Wow! I’ve been here unfortunately enough times. 3/4 of the time I can’t understand the broken English they’re trying to speak. New owners here maybe? So many reviews are all 1 star for good reason and nothing changes still. You should have to take an English fluency test to work here in Ontario. Order always wrong, wrong, and wrong again today?

I had one of the worst experiences at a Tim Hortons drive-thru, and it left me feeling deeply disrespected and discriminated against. It was a quiet afternoon, not even a busy hour. I placed two separate orders and clearly told the staff member that I wanted to use my Tim Hortons gift card only for the first order. She was distracted, talking with her supervisor or management team instead of paying attention to my request. When it came time to pay for my second order, I asked to use Visa, but she said she had already charged everything to the gift card. I calmly said it was fine, I just wanted a refund so we could redo the payment properly. Instead of handling this professionally, she shut the window and started making insulting remarks inside with her team. Her tone was rough, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. When I got the refund and tried to clarify payment again, she became more rude and confused, saying things like “are you paying or not?”—as if I was at fault for her mistake. I even asked her politely why she was speaking to me in such a tone, but she continued to treat me with disrespect. As someone who has been living and working in Canada for 3 years—including at Tim Hortons myself—I understand the stress of the job. But that is no excuse to bark at customers, especially when they are speaking politely and simply trying to clarify a payment issue. The way she treated me felt like more than frustration—it felt like racism. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in Canada. Tim Hortons needs to seriously address staff training, professionalism, and sensitivity to ensure customers of all backgrounds are treated with dignity and respect.

1/5 stars - Disappointing breakfast experience at this Tim Hortons location. Every weekday morning between 8-9am , I've tried to order scrambled eggs, but they're always out. It's not just a one-time mistake, it's a consistent issue. Not having a staple breakfast item ready during peak hours is unacceptable. Maybe adjust your morning prep schedule ? Or continue to loose revenue. Until then, I'll be taking my breakfast (and my appetite) elsewhere.

The staff aren't very friendly and I have recieved a barely toasted English muffin when ordering it double toasted multiple times now. Very unimpressed.

I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience at a Tim Hortons before. The supervisor, AMY, is extremely unprofessional she talks down to customers, is rude, and makes the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. I also noticed her speaking disrespectfully to her own employees right in front of customers. It’s unacceptable to treat people like that in a customer service role. I won’t be coming back to this location until management takes action.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Terrible service. Had the workers speaking another language to each other in front of the customers. The washrooms smelled like urine and had needle caps/covers on the floor. 98% sure its not from diabetics. The food is hospital food but a bit better. This time it was undercooked pizza, old coffee and the usual not toasted bagel. The one bonus was that it was a normal wait time for everything in store. Not long, not too short. alright so i came in last night at about 10:15pm ish last-night to grab a coffee as i had to stay up all night to complete assignments. i get to the drive thru, theres one person ahead of me, nobody in the store, and i was already patiently waiting for a minimum of 5 minutes while thinking it seemed to be taking quite a bit of time for only one customer. anyways i get to the window, and the lady quite literally screams at me “I’LL HELP YOU IN A SECOND.” my friend being with me went “…holy” and we were both taken back and just kinda laughed it off and made a joke about it because we didn't even get one word in and she was so hostile? 😭 and it wasn't even busy ??? like literally three minutes later she gets to the window again and quite literally screams again, “WHAT CAN I GET YOU?” super hostile and passive. taken back again, and with my passenger and i being uncomfortable at that point, i decide to tell her “never mind, i’m uncomfortable, i’ll don’t want to order here anymore, i’ll order elsewhere” and proceed to drive up to the window to ask her for her name. i gave it two minutes and she was avoiding coming up to the window. so after being patient, i honked my horn and she came up to the window asking me what i want. i asked her for her name as i don't appreciate being screamed at. she denied screaming at me, however my passenger and i were both taken back from it. and proceeded to refuse to give me her name and the window door shut. i honked my horn a few times and proceeded to get coffee from a different tim hortons. really rough experience lol all i wanted was an iced capp. anyways she was working at 10:15pm last night, August 13th 2025 - thin build. i thought this should be said because other customers shouldn't have to deal with this experience as i did; i felt super disrespected for no reason.

The district_regional manager was supposed to call me TWO months ago regarding a safety issue in this store. I have even called their head office multiple times to try and resolve this but have been ignored thus far. Any suggestions on how to get someone who will actually resolve the problem to call me would be great. The owner told me to mind my business. She also drove away to the two good staff members she had. Since then my tea never gets stirred. Curious how long it will take them to call me back.

Been going here for Years, always stop by if im heading North! Always love the atmosphere of it, in the summer they have an amazing set up with washrooms/burger place. Lovely winter set up with skating! NOT DOG FRIENDLY INSIDE STARBUCKS/asked to pick up dogs even going on quick to order. BUT SERVICE TODAY NOT GOOD AT ALL Lady super rude no eyecontact when i said thank you for my pickup order. As well she in the one who said pick up both our dogs.

Very unique Starbucks without a doubt, it felt like a mini theme park, we went on the train section after we got the drink, quite comfortable with music playing in the background. If you’re anywhere nearby and looking for a place to go, you can give it a shot.

It feels like you’ve stepped into a cozy retreat rather than a coffee shop patio. Plenty of space to sit, relax, or even bring a book and spend a while. Adding to the charm, there’s a quirky “regular visitor” in the form of a local car bandit—a cheeky raccoon who occasionally shows up to check out the scene. Don’t worry, it’s all part of the character here, and the staff handles it with good humor. If you’re looking for more than just a caffeine stop and want a little adventure with your latte, this is the Starbucks to visit!

Five kids working with no customers spending all their time planning their weekend. No toilet paper in bathroom, no napkins, and got my order wrong. Definitely a management fail.

absolutely absurd. The Starbucks classifies itself as a resort, location and charges more for everything. Cake pops are $4.15. So they have a smaller menu and no drive-through but charge more. Do yourself a favour and stop in Orillia or Gravenhurst. Oh, and it took forever because the barista was writing little messages on my espresso cups like “stay grounded “ and “espresso yourself”. She helped the line up to do this, and THEN ran the espresso. I drive past this location twice every day and will never stop again.

Staffs too busy chatting with each other's. I ordered two drinis and took 15 mins waiting and watch the two girls chat more than work ... With many customers waiting to get their drinks nos. Coffee was fast, but Macha took forever

Quick stop on the way up North. Spacious, clean, helpful, and friendly staff. Had an iced latte. I found the coffee had a bitter taste, but it still hit the spot on a hot day. Fairly empty. Fast service. Sat on bench in front. Plenty of parking. Public washrooms and a park area and, of course, Weber's nearby.

I ordered a decaf coffee at this location at 9:30 pm on Canada Day... it’s now 5:07 am and I’m still wide awake. And I have a full day of work to look forward to. Seriously, thanks so much to the tall blonde girl who served me regular coffee. It may be a joke to you, but it causes me to wonder what else you are doing to my food.... people like you should not be allowed to handle food. It’s actually very frightening. I’m in the coffee business, and it’s impossible to mix up decaf/ regular unless you do it intentionally... different coloured packaging, and different coloured pots. That’s the last time I will ever visit Casino Rama, and spend my money there. I’ll save it for Vegas, you get treated properly there.

If I could rate lower I would in all categories, service very slow, one person at counter, while others in the back, donuts cookies and muffins stale, probably day olds, bagels can be used for hockey pucks they are so hard, very rarely you get what you order, I’ll never waste my money on this place again. Just terrible 😞

Just had a worker skip over us/ let another person bud in line. We had to speak up. The other person wanted to fight us. Old guy with a beard and work boots, maybe a worker on the building. The workers tried to make us look like the bad guys for speaking up.. a really bad start to a day.

This is a great Tim Horton's location. Always quick through the drive-through, never a hard time. Understanding what you are ordering for the coffee and baked goods is always fresh. Food is always prepared well, I have never had a problem in the years that I have been coming here.

I can’t help but wonder if the owner knows his employees are losing him money. After spending $50 there buying breakfast for my family on our roadtrip we asked for an extra cup of whipped cream for our dog. We Said we would happily pay extra for it and was told no? We explained again that we were willing to pay for it and just got pure attitude back and flat out refusing the purchase. If they’re not letting customers buy whipped cream what else are they holding back. Your employees need a serious customer service training refresh. Absolutely terrible experience. Specifically the girl with the blue/green hair. Should not be working in customer service!

We stopped on Sept 27 at 215pm for beverages and to use the restroom, upon entering the men's restroom there was a gagging stench of feces, the toilet was completely clogged to the top of the bowl with feces. I tried to bring it to the attention of female "supervisor", she seemed not to be concerned or care, only turned to her staff and yelled at one of them to call a plumber as the toilet was backed up for x # of times, why if this has been happening all day was it not rectified earlier....Not even a thank you for mentioning it or a half ass apology. Will be the last time I visit that location, corporate leadership to take a long hard look at this store, based on the reviews it's bad....

At drive thru greeted like we are inconveniencing the staff. Then waited for what seems to be warm water, with incorrect cream/sugar. Quality control at this franchise is nonexistent at this point from my experience. Which is why reviewing each location is important.

Ani. The supervisor was being incredibly rude to several customers and another employee. Apparently this is nothing new. Mabe you should rethink who you have as a supervisor. As for the service from the front counter employee keshev. Very polite. But it did take quite a while to be served which I understand it was busy and there was not enough employees. Food and drink was good.

I recently started going to this Tim Hortons and I’ve been really impressed! The food comes out super quick, but still tastes fresh and delicious every time. My London Fog is usually ready right when I pull up to the window and even if it’s not, it’s never more than a 2-minute wait, which is awesome during a busy day. I have to take a moment to recognize Micaela she’s an absolute gem. Always respectful, kind, and professional, which is something you don’t always see these days, especially in someone so young. Her positive attitude and constant smile truly brighten up the visit. She’s a great example of what excellent customer service looks like. Highly recommend this location 100% worth the visit!

I stopped by this Tim Hortons today on my way to Midland and was genuinely impressed with the service. From the moment I walked in, everything ran smoothly. The wait time was incredibly short — barely 2 to 4 minutes — and the staff kept things moving efficiently without sacrificing quality. A special shout out to Mickayla, who truly stood out. She was friendly, professional, and made the experience even better with her positive attitude and attention to detail. It’s not every day you come across service that leaves such a great impression. Definitely one of the better Tim Hortons locations I’ve visited. Great job to the whole team — and especially Mickayla!

I’ve only visited the Tim Hortons at Prices Corners once, and while the service was friendly and efficient, the overall experience was a bit challenging. This location sits at a very busy intersection, which makes entering and exiting the property a little stressful. The layout of the parking lot feels confusing, and in my opinion, even a bit unsafe—especially when trying to navigate the drive-thru or find a place to park. There’s also a gas station on the same lot, which adds to the traffic and reduces available parking spaces. I didn’t go inside the restaurant, but from what I could tell, it doesn’t seem to have the typical sit-down area that other Tim Hortons locations offer. It feels more like a grab-and-go spot, which may suit some people just fine depending on their needs. I arrived around 6:15 in the evening and was disappointed to find that most of the donuts were already sold out. I understand that certain items sell faster than others, but I had hoped for a little more variety that early in the evening. That said, the customer service was solid, and the staff handled the busy environment well. If you’re in a rush and already nearby, it might be a convenient stop, but it’s not my first pick for a relaxed coffee break.

Came in a bit after 9pm on september 11th and the level of disrespect i received was frankly appealing. Whomever the closer was is incredibly rude and has a very poor attitude. He was fussing over his donut display ignoring me for a bit. When he finally took my order he was rushing me trying to get me to finish. Simply rude behavior. That man needs a lesson in customer service

This was the worst Tim Hortons drive through I've ever been through. There were only 5 cars in front of us and it took us 25 minutes to get through. We went specifically to purchase smile cookies to support local charities. After waiting in line for 25 minutes we finally arrived at the window.... Only to find out they had NO smile cookies!!!! Not very impressed... The promotion is only on for a week every year. And for them to run out at 1pm is poor planning on their part. I will never revisit this Tim's in prices corners. Shame on them for the slow service and not supporting local charities.

Older Lady on afternoons is incredibly rude to both customers and her own staff. I stood at their counter for several minutes waiting for someone to help. The poor children in drive through were incredibly busy and tried to help me once they were free, but that older lady just stood there messing around with the donuts and trays doing absolutely nothing.The second one of the teens was free she barked at them to take my order. She could've done it herself but was simply too rude. Wouldn't recommend nights at this location

I went in a couple days ago and there’s was one older lady working, she stayed at the window for 10 mins talking to her friend, I said hello and she rudely waved at me and 5 minutes after that she then came to take the order. When I ordered she complained that I asked for 4 coffees and said “i don’t want to make that many do you really need it?” This was extremely unprofessional, I’ve already waited for her and her friend to stop talking, she threw their hands when I said yes I wanted the coffees for my family. On top of that she got the order wrong. This is a common theme at this location, they always mess up your food but this is the first time someone has been that disrespectful. She was working at 9pm on June the 17th 2025. Hire ppl who want to work she’s old and miserable.

The customer service experience at this facility has steadily dropped over the last 2 years specifically. The language bearier is of note, orders consistently not being place properly due to front counter employees having a difficult time understanding what is said to them. I have also had to question them as to why there was nobody at the food prep table while standing waiting for my order on my short break period from work while 5 employees are conversing with one another. Most common cause is the order did not go though or was missed. I have been stopping here on my work break 1-2 times a day for the past 4 years. I will be going to the Wendy's next door from now on.

Not adequately staffed to meet the morning rushes. Waiting in the drive thru can be about 10 mins. I ordered an XL OP 2M and got an XL coffee with 2M 🤦‍♀️ .. I don’t drink coffee and wasted a free reward on something I have to pour down the drain now.

Usually pretty good, but the last couple times my Order has been wrong. I asked for a refund and the guy at the window argued with me.

This place does not have a washroom, sitting area, and most items are unavailable. Better go to one about half a mile north at 298 Memorial. That is open 24 hrs too. TH needs to specify places that are drive through only

I went to pick up , for a friend, I was behind 2 cars it took 13 minutes for me to get the coffee, it was too much , I think the lady at the window was tired 😫 she was in a mood from hell lol , I feel sorry for her over worked and under paid . My friend said the coffee was ok

I got handed an iced capp that was half empty, after I said something about it all she did was stir it and then gave me the same thing back, I said something again and got told “it’s filled to the line” like I haven’t been getting iced capps for years they are never this empty

Haven't tried the food at this location but the coffee! I hit this spot for a cup before the commute, always friendly service. The 4 stars for atmosphere as its in a grocery store, a walk up counter. It's always clean and well stocked though.

Erica at star bucks is amazing. She went out of her way to make us perfect great

My usual order is the ice matcha latte, with cold foam on top. Some locations have started mixing the drink instead of just putting the cold foam on top. I've had staff ask me if that's how I want it. Which is nice but most don't. It's not good, I don't know why they started doing this. I don't usually order food, but got a cookie at this location and it was stale, glad I got it warmed that made it edible at least.

We ordered online 2 Java chip frappes, and I have never had such bad taste. It was so liquidy and may be they forgot to add sugar or what I don’t know, but it was all waste of money. I will never go back on this location
