Runyeh Coffee is a new addition to the Heathridge coffee scene, brought to you by experienced hospitality figure Josh McGinnity. The cafe offers a bright and minimalist space where patrons can enjoy top-notch coffee made with Micrology beans and a delectable brunch menu featuring made-to-order sandwiches with unique twists. Customers praise the efficient and friendly staff, as well as the dog-friendly outdoor seating and kid-friendly environment.
A must-visit spot for coffee, burgers, and everything in between! This time, we tried the Mont Blanc—an iced coffee with cold brew at its base, topped with whipped cream and a hint of orange zest. Absolutely delicious! The service? Friendly and attentive, as always. What are you waiting for? Go check it out—you won’t be disappointed.
Notorious — Google review
We were in the local area picking up a coffee machine and saw the sign. We came back and tried it out and it was such a fantastic find! Food was well priced and tasted great. Their drinks (Mont Blanc and Matcha) were fantastic!
Mr. W — Google review
It was my first time visiting this café, and I didn’t expect much as I’m new to the area. But it turned out to be really impressive! Especially the brunch carbonara — they used sliced panceta instead of bacon, which is a lovely chewy texture and rich flavor. The coffee had a bright acidity, yet it was perfectly balanced and delicious. The latte art also made my day!
Miu J — Google review
I’ll keep it simple and easy. Best coffee around, great menu and amazing staff. Really good environment for family with kids. If you love a mixed variety of food, this is the place to be. We’ve almost tried all their menu items and never disappointed. Wish I could promote you guys more, but everyone needs to favourite this place immediately!

Gem… not even hidden, just a gem 💎 If you live north of the river and haven’t tried this place, you’re a fool. Their $10 specials have me giggling, kicking my feet and their baristas are always making the most beautiful coffees. On a real note though, the staff are consistently warm, the service is flawless, and they’ve never missed. Not once.
Lynne P — Google review
The hash browns are so good! We got the veggie stack and the Reuben and both had loads of flavour and definitely a good serving size. We went on a busy Sunday morning and food still came out pretty quick and staff were great. Pricing is fair too :)
Amber B — Google review
The place was a little noisy and service was a little here and there as you enter. Food was lovely(nothing too fancy or special) - however, well seasoned and fills the belly and heart. Had a mont blanc coffee which was nice.
Evelyn T — Google review
We have night expectations for this place, it was highly recommended on one of the foodie websites of Perth. We made a reservation ahead of time, which was good idea cuz the place was packed. So make a reservation. We came to celebrate a birthday and mentioned it in the reservation. We got sitted next to the patio entrance, meaning people are going back and forth, and it was loud. I was looking forward to be sitted somewhere nicer since we did make a reservation. As for the food, it was alright, nothing special. We have the pancakes with bacon and the kimchi eggs. It was ok, nothing special. In our opinion it was not worth their price. They are one (-) person size, so don't plan on sharing. We have flat white, which was alright, a bit cold. I guess it was a busy day and they were sitting on the bench for a bit. Service was good, the staff is very kind. The join was clean. It was Father's day, it was busy, kids everywhere, it felt like a pub style but with prices of a high end restaurant. We probably not going to be back. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Australian restaurant
Nestled within an upscale resort, The Alcove offers a delightful experience of modern Australian cuisine in a chic bistro setting. With its elegant decor and floor-to-ceiling windows, the restaurant creates a warm ambiance for indoor dining, while outdoor seating provides serene views of the lagoon-style pool—perfect for those seeking tranquility. Before indulging in your meal, unwind with a drink at the cozy lounge bar.
Excellent futari wagyu steak with a perfectly cooked potatoes side dish. Scallops were lovely and fresh too. The staff were attentive and friendly. Highly impressed with the overall experience The buffet breakfast was nice also
Hailee F — Google review
We recently celebrated my birthday at Alcove and had a truly lovely evening. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion. One small disappointment was that our note about the birthday celebration was missed, and it was only acknowledged as we were leaving. The staff were very apologetic once we mentioned it, and it was clear they felt genuinely sorry for the oversight. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely return. A beautiful spot with exceptional food and kind staff.

Alcove at Joondalup Resort Tucked away inside the serene Joondalup Resort, Alcove offers a refined dining experience with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone—elegant yet unpretentious, with beautiful seating options both indoors and outdoors. The cocktail menu is well-curated with a great selection to suit all palates, and the staff go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they add warmth to the overall setting. Food-wise, the gnocchi and steak are absolute standouts—cooked to perfection and plated with care. Each bite reflects attention to detail and quality produce. If you’re looking for a great spot for date night, a relaxed weekend lunch, or a special dinner, Alcove is a top pick in the Joondalup area. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, the waitress was attentive and caring. The entre of char grilled sourdough bread, hummus and olives were amazing. My youngest son loved how the steak tasted and presented. Thanks
Yasir A — Google review
Our first time here and definitely not our last. We were there to enjoy a birthday dinner and was surprised by the extra gesture of a sparkler in the dessert with our waitress singing happy birthday and a personalised Happy birthday chocolate decoration. It Was very unexpected but much appreciated for the thoughtfulness, thank you. Our waitress was fantastic, the staff were great, we were never left waiting with empty plates on our table, they were very efficient in bringing out our meals, drinks and also taking all our empty glasses and finished plates away. The food was a strong 9/10. The pork belly was soft and tender and to die for, especially the pumpkin velvet with hints of mint and the jus, I couldn’t get enough! The best pork belly I’ve had to date. followed by Padbury cafe and Pullman bunker bay Resort. I have never been a fan of Tiramisu,EVER! I was hesitant to try my partners dessert, but after his insistence, I tried it and I regretted not getting one for myself. So light and airy and not overly sickly dense. I have been converted to eat their Tiramisu. The foam was absolutely delicious! The Restaurant and atmosphere was classy, warm, cosy and comfortable. It reminded me of the Epicurean at Burswood Casino, even when walking down the staircase towards the pool. The food and service I rate it even better than the current C Restaurant. Prices were reasonable. We were very satisfied for what we paid to what we got. We had some left overs which they gave us takeaway containers. Was still delicious the next day. If this is their consistency throughout, we will happily be returning guests. Thank you to the chefs, barman, our waitress and staff for the good work and service. LGingles

One of the best atmospheres for inside the restaurant and outside that I have experienced. The entree was delicious, juicy olives and homemade ripped ricotta to have over our chargrilled sourdough bread was… divine if I do say so myself. The main I decided on was the Kimberley Barramundi fish. The fish was tasty and not overly fishy, the skin was crunchy and the sauce complimented the fish well but I can’t say the same for the ancient grains. Also gave the lemon lime bitters a go as I do this at every restaurant I go to and this one was good, more on the lemon side and not watered down at all.
Porcupine — Google review
The staff were friendly, and provided us with great service. The food was very tasty - we would especially recommend our entrees which included the sourdough with a creamy ricotta and the beautifully presented octopus. The ambience was nice - not too busy, which made it easy to chat and the view over the alfresco area was perfect. However, my dining chair upholstery did need replacing or a good clean, as it was stained and a bit frayed - not a good look for a beautiful restaurant. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Alcove.
K D — Google review
All very nice. Food was fine, chips were great, but there is no aircon, plus loads of pesky flies. Still, we would come again. Service was really good. ❤️

The cafe Little H is a popular spot, with a great menu and delicious food. It's busy and had to queue up at the counter to order another round of coffee, but would return.
Love this local cafe. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is wonderful. It’s also beautifully presented. An all day brunch cafe with a lovely atmosphere, cute furnishings, beautiful creamy coffee, delicious smoothies, and the best bacon in Perth. The eggs Benedict can be served three ways and sits atop hash-browns instead of bread. Nice! Will definitely be my regular breakfast spot.

Had a good meal, menu had a good choice of options and was very fast to come out. Every one said how their meals tasted great. Nice hidden local secret. Staff were extremely efficient, friendly. Excellent access for mobility impaired and seating flexibility allows moment.
M H — Google review
A hidden gem. We arrived at a busy time on Sunday. But we didn't have to wait long to get a table. You can book which would be a wise thing to do on weekends as it looked very popular. Great Menu available for all types of dietary options. Once we ordered the food came out so quickly we were very surprised. Oh and the gluten free bread was so soft and delicious. Very Happy to recommend them.
Michelle O — Google review
The food was great and the drinks were decent. We also loved the café’s design—modern and pretty. However, the space is quite small, making it feel a bit cramped between tables. Unfortunately, the tables were sticky and hadn’t been cleaned (properly), which took away from the overall experience. Also, keep in mind that the toilets are shared public ones, located about a 2–3 minutes walk away.
Mabbel E — Google review
What a wonderful cafe! This was our first visit and the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful! A bit of wait to get seats on the weekend but food came out so quickly! The staff with a ponny tail with black hair( sorry didn't ask your name) looked after us so well. It looked busy but she changed the water bottle to new one before finishing the one we had. We definitely will be back to try other meals 😋 Visited 13/09/2025 just after 10am.
Nat S — Google review
Food was delicious. The Dubai French toast was amazing. The coffee was a bit of a let down, seemed to be burnt and not very creamy. Decor was nice but was a little loud. Was really easy to find parking which was great for a larger group.

This charming cafe is perfect for families, offering an array of deliciously crafted dishes that cater to all tastes. From colorful salads bursting with freshness to mouthwatering sandwiches, every meal is not just food but an artful presentation that will please both the eyes and the palate.
Awesome matcha 🌿 Lovely decor. Bit loud for me!! Very transient venue. Food looks great!! Service could have been friendlier... quite lack lustre. She may have been having a bad day... maybe don't come to work when you're feeling under the weather 🤔 Anyhow it's a great central location for local business owners and office workers to meet. There is a lovely lady next to me working on her laptop. Some people can handle lots of activity. As an energy worker, I pick up a lot, and my head hurts here, so I'm going to sit outside.
Anne-Marie H — Google review
. It does good. Nice coffee, nice pancakes. Point of note is a strawberry chopped finely is not what I expected for my Nutella and strawberry pancakes I didn’t expect singular fruit. Maybe in future I’d ask for no ice cream and more strawberry. Still really good.
Dan J — Google review
Not sure what happened to this place. They used to serve some top notch food and beverages in Joondalup. They still have the potential with a nice atmosphere but service staff and the menu need improvements. We ordered the breakfast bagel and southern fried chicken burger. Both were very basic and bland in flavour. Fries were just soggy not crispy at all. Berry smoothie was too sour. Iced mocha was just ok. Overall food was overly priced for what it delivered.
Shehan C — Google review
Decided to come here with my parents they had been once before and said that it does nice lunches. I totally agree the lunches that we had as per the photos I've put here were very tasty and fresh, although not a large range of things available as in hot dishes, it was more breakfast items. burgers amd wraps. The coffees were also very good and I would rate them definitely in the top 10 that I've been to for the best coffee taste , size and smoothness. At the time we were there only seemed to be one person on staff when we were there so we did have to wait a little while at the counter where you order as the Barista was making the coffees but he was also taking people's orders for food. One thing I must say though is $6.50 for a lactose free long mac is extremely expensive & I've never paid that much for a coffee anywhere in Australia. Singapore yes but Australia no, regardless for the fact it has lactose free milk.
Dexcellent R — Google review
I ordered an ice matcha but it tasted really weird, like a mixture of matcha and cinnamon, a waste of $7.60

Great place in the heart of Joondalup. Excellent food. We had breakfast bagels. Superb. Service was amazing, with special touches added. It's also great that they are open really early. The whole experience is a good value proposition. I can recommend it.

The service and atmosphere are great but the food very average. Do not order the avo smash, it has a smear of avocado and piles of spinach on top with a sprinkling of onion, cherry tomatoes and feta. Worst avo smash I’ve ever had
Denyse P — Google review
Absolutely love the grounds. The resort itself has some great features but could do with a bit of an upgrade. Cafe 28 has a nice view of the driving range and gardens but could also definitely be upgraded. The menu is simple but nice. The coffee is good. Prices are reasonable.
Leah A — Google review
We had a great lunch overlooking the greens We ordered A Rueben sandwich which is hard to get right and it was the best I’d had since we were last in Canada, snd also the southern fried chicken sandwich. My husband & I shared 1/2 each and were so impressed with the food and the excellent service. All the staff encountered were kind and welcoming. We will definitely go back as the coffee was also great

Beautiful view with great food. Reuben sandwich was to die for. Reasonably priced for a country club as well. Will be back! 😊🥪

If you're not dressed as a golfer (or a wealthy businessman), the vibe you get from the (all male, at the time of our visit) golfers is definitely on the nose... The waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome so the coffee that we'd gone there for was delivered with a smile and a little chat - it's worth going just for the coffee - we went back for seconds. The fact that the membership fees at this public golf course are more than my annual income (I'm a pensioner) shows that golf is not for the average person. Compared to the Wembley public golf course, this one is very snooty. I can't comment on the food, as we just had coffee (which was not overpriced), but I'd assume that it would be good fare at affordable prices.

Consistently amazing! Found this little place recently and it was completely unexpected. Love the little homewares and gift shop at the entry, there are so many beautiful little things to browse. Deceptively large cafe, with plenty of seating out to the side but leaving the front open for takeaway. The staff are LOVELY, so welcoming and friendly and very accommodating when I had queries about food ingredients because of my intolerances. They are always happy- especially the girl with the dark hair and dimples who has served us, she is so bubbly & delightful. so you can easily see they love working there and this shows in the whole vibe of the place. Would be super cute to tuck away in the back on a rainy day here, but there is also some limited outdoor seating for fine weather. My friend had a delicious egg/bacon/cheese bagel and couldn’t fault it. Have had hot chocolates here 3 days in a row and they are one of the best we’ve ever tried. Always served with a smile and it seriously brightens your day by the time you leave. Reasonably priced too, plenty of parking. What a winner! Thanks girls, the atmosphere of your work environment is contagious 🫶🏼

Great little find. I’ll be honest, only stopped in as I was starving before grabbing beer brew supplies from the guys next door, but really impressed. Great coffee, quick service and turnaround. Brekkie wrap was great and the peanut butter brownie was indulgent beyond belief in the best way. Interesting selection of homewares and clothes also on display. Will be coming back when I have more time.

Stumbled across this deceptive cafe while waiting for my daughter to finish her ballet class. From the outside it looks pretty plain, but when you walk through the doors you'll find a much bigger space than expected! Friendly staff, great drinks, didn't have time for food but the menu looks fab. Local handmade goods for sale too, nice to see the support for small businesses. Will definitely be back!

If you're wandering through the lively streets and in need of a cozy retreat, look no further than Little Jaspi. This delightful café is the perfect spot to escape the heat while indulging in a delicious coffee or gourmet takeaway.
Such a cute cafe. The sausage rolls and banana bread are so yummy. The place looks nice, good air flow. Best part was the service. So friendly. They went the extra mile to give my son some marshmallows and a high-5! Happy we stumbled upon this place!
Meg N — Google review
All I can say is that with the new owners, my partner and I are overwhelmingly disappointed. This is no longer the same cafe it used to be using wonderful beans and serving excellent cafe food. Instead, sourdough is white bread, eggs are cooked with no colour and coffee is flavourless. Those who had dined in the past will know what the smashed avocado staple used to look like and has been replaced with the image attached to the review. The worst offender was the excessive amount of dried parsley flakes that give the underwhelming reimagination of Avo-licious the most delightful chewy texture (sarcasm). I almost feel like carrying the previous owners name of Little Jaspi's and not changing the menu is deceptive and misleading. We will not be back.
Martytalius — Google review
The girl serving barely speaks a word of english, had to repeat my order 3 times. This place used to be good before it changed hands. The coffee also took forever to make because there is only one person behind the counter and nobody else serving. Not a great experience!!
Colin T — Google review
My partner and I come to Little Jaspi about 2/3 times a year and have really enjoyed the quality of coffee and food. We recommend it to friends/family in the area. On our recent visit, we had no idea it had changed owners. This was our first concern. The coffee quality has gone incredibly down. Bitter beans! I ordered a mocha which I guess has become a flat white with chocolate powder on top. The food that followed was pretty horrific. Wet, sloppy scrambled eggs, thin, white bread masking as the menu’s offering of “sourdough” and chewy pieces of dried inedible parsley to finish. Not quite sure why my scrambled eggs had a dollop of mango chutney on top. I was equally confused on why my bacon I added extra had been hidden underneath, other than to prevent the bread from soggying (spoiler alert; didn’t work!). My partners avo-licious smashed avocado was neither smashed nor licious, with the same sprinkling of cremated parsley pieces. Comparing what we had previously to now (if you’re playing along at home, you can do the same by looking through the review pictures from 6 months and older) is a crime and highly deceptive. For the punishment I will be putting Little Jaspi in my cafe prison; i.e I won’t be back.
Dave S — Google review
Me and friend went for a brunch date. I ordered a tropical juice which was pretty good, not too sweet not too sour. She ordered an iced chai, which was a bit watery and very mild chai. I got the diablo omelette which was nice it had a lot of chilli which was good, I think if it had a zesty sauce or some lemon it would balance the flavours and chilli a bit better. There should have been some more tomato’s too! The eggs Benedict was good except for some of the other topping which wasn’t my friend favourite (asparagus and a sweet chilli crisp jam)
Cherry R — Google review
Decided to drop in to this little quaint café that is very hard to spot from the road. Glad we decided to go as it was fully air conditioned so we could get out of the hea. Service and food was above average. We ordered coffee with lactose free milk, an English breakfast which was perfect, a breakfast bagle, and some fruit toast. Service was fast although there was only one other couple in the café at the time.

Sistas Burns Beach Cafe & Restaurant is a popular casual spot in the northern suburbs, offering stunning sea views and modern Australian cuisine. It's known for its lazy breakfasts and scenic coastal walks. The cafe is dog-friendly, even featuring an ala carte menu for furry friends called Doggy Num Yums. Visitors can enjoy organic coffee and delicious brunch options while their four-legged companions are welcome in the outdoor dining area.
Nice place, good atmosphere. Bit expensive for food but it’s all relative. Sausage roll was very good and came with a fun chutney/sauce. The highlight of the cafe is its location. Plenty of seats and its proximity to the ocean is a fantastic. Plenty of parking for free on the street shaded and non shaded seating, also indoor seating if required. Would come back

Pop by for breakfast, sat ourselves and ordered from the counter. Coffee was made well, big breakfast was well done, portion was really quite good too, had to share with a friend. Tuesday was taco specials, tried the fried chicken taco, well seasoned but salsa lack a kick in flavour but still yummy 👍 great cafe to chill alfresco, saw many cute puppies in the outdoor area.

I always love coming here!! If you enjoy Ocean views and great food and casual dining then you will love Sistas :) Dog friendly too 🐶🐾 They have a takeaway kiosk also that serves hot drinks and toasties. You can enjoy a coastal walk afterwards... the views are stunning.

Had a lovely morning coffee at Sistas Burn Beach Cafe! It’s such a great spot to start the day — the coffee was smooth and delicious, and the beautiful beach view made it even more special. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the morning vibes. Highly recommended!

All of the food was top notch but the steak sandwich was especially good. Massive portion with loads of steak and delicious bread. Definitely recommend. Services was also nice and friendly, it’s very busy there but still quick

First time in just by myself. The place was packed with people, but the queue was quick. I ordered a full breakfast and orange juice. My food came out super fast and I was surprised since it was so busy. I don't know what's in the sausage, but it was so good. I could eat a dozen. I'll definitely frequent here.

We had high hopes for this place being right on the beach but unfortunately it didn’t deliver. Let me start be saying the taste of the noodle sauce was fantastic, the coffee was also very good, but we left hungry (very hungry) after paying over $50 for lunch. We ordered the noodle salad and bao buns. The quantity of noodles was less than half a teacup, and there was about the same quantity of a kind of salad, it was tiny. I must say the peanut sauce was fantastic, probably the best I have ever had, but due to the minuscule serving size 3/4 was left in the jug. The filling of the bao buns was dry and there wasn’t much else in them apart from sliced cucumber. I don’t like giving negative reviews as I was a small business owner myself for 20 years, but my wife and I left perplexed by the size of our lunch so we felt we had to speak up.

Lovey location with a great vibe. Coffee was great and we did not wait long for the coffee. Even considering that this is a popular coffee shop and was busy. Food came out quickly. Very tasty and big serving. We enjoyed the full breakfast. The price is about the same as most coffee shops that provide a similar setting, coffee and food. Can recommend. You might just need to book in advance as it a popular spot even with the locals.

Swell Mullaloo Beach is a laid-back restaurant offering traditional dishes and cocktails with a stunning view of the ocean. It's considered one of Perth's coastal gems, providing a perfect setting for a morning meal with its balcony overlooking Mullaloo Beach. The restaurant offers nourishing bowls, stacked bacon eggs benedict, and generous breakfast options. Guests can enjoy their meal while taking in the sea view and feeling the refreshing breeze.
Great location with a lovely view. The staff were friendly at this casual Cafe. We went for brunch. Nice selection of breakfast items. You can choose how you want your eggs cooked. The hash browns were better than what you usually get.

We had a lovely breakfast here and really enjoyed the experience. The venue is beautiful with great views, and the food was wonderful. The only thing that kept it from being a five-star experience was the service; our waitress wasn't very personable. Still, we would definitely recommend it and will be back!
Hungry H — Google review
Good location with many tables offering nice ocean views. The menu comprised modern, Australian cuisine. Our battered fish & chips, beef burger, grilled barramundi were all very tasty. Associated salad accompanying each dish was super fresh, although not much in the salad apart from rocket and some pea shoot sprouts. The local Nail pale ale beer was tasty but needed to be, at $14 a pint. The dishes were also nice but pricey, so be prepared. Service was friendly and good, although took a while for our main dishes to arrive. Fitout pretty basic, with the chairs a bit run down. The parking is free and nearby. And the highlight? The desserts - rhubarb and apple turnover, and a pavlova - were generous and very tasty, with two desserts enough for four people. Overall, a nice place for an occasional Sunday and/or birthday lunch with friends.

Been here several times now and never disappoints The food is always A+ and the service the same I haven't met a waitress that wasn't happy to look after us I honestly can't fault anything . In fact, I just enjoyed a fabulous birthday breakfast Quickly becoming my favourite place to go

Total disaster! Mushrooms on toast. Two pieces cibatta toast $6 something and mushrooms $5:45. As per photo you can see they didn't even try. Equivalent to one mushroom old and shrivalled up. Rubbery texture like it had been cooked the day before and then zapped in the microwave. Approximately $12. It is disappointing I have always recommended Dome to visitors as they are all over WA wherever they travel. My sister had fried eggs on toast after her first meal was so bad she had to send it back and the egg whites were still partially raw.

I wish you guys could be more consistent on the cake slice In the morning, I got a nice and generous slice for breakfast Them Went back and ordered a few more to take home and it was disappointing 😞 almost $10 dollars for the slice and the service person give me the most small pice of cake

Really friendly and efficient service. Very busy this Tuesday morning around 1030ish... absolutely packed. I had scrambled eggs on toast which were a bit dry. Am glad I ordered the smashed avo on the side. One piece of toast is probably not enough IMO. The dirty chai latte on oat was really nice 👌

⭐ 0/5 – Disappointing Experience at Dome Café, Hillary’s Boat Harbour I’m deeply disappointed with the experience I had at Dome Café in Hillary’s Boat Harbour. On multiple occasions, I’ve visited this café to observe the environment and hospitality — and each time, I’ve been left feeling culturally unsafe and unwelcome. During my most recent visit, I lined up respectfully to place my order. When I reached the counter, the manager — an older woman — greeted me with hostility: “Yeah, what is it? What do you want? I don’t have time, just hurry up and choose.” This level of rudeness is not only unprofessional, but it made me feel disrespected and unwelcome, especially as a person of colour. Her tone and attitude felt targeted, and sadly, I wasn’t the only one who noticed. Friends who accompanied me also experienced similar treatment. In addition to the poor customer service, the food presentation and quality didn’t meet expectations. The smashed avocado was served in separate components (feta, avo, etc.), making the dish feel disjointed. In other states, I’ve had this meal beautifully plated with pomegranate, tomato relish, herbs, and lemon zest. It felt like little care was taken in the presentation or taste. This review isn’t written lightly — it reflects repeated negative experiences. I believe Dome Hillary’s should review their cultural awareness, hospitality standards, and customer service training — especially for management. No one should feel unsafe or disrespected when simply trying to enjoy a meal. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this location.

Visited this morning and ordered Fruit Toast with preserves. The order was brought to the table as ordinary white toast(definitely not what I ordered) The waitress took it back to the kitchen and afterwards came back to our table and told us that we had to go to the till and pay another 50 cents as they had seemingly put the order through incorrectly and only charged for normal toast. I couldn’t believe that they had the nerve to charge me 50 cents for their mistake especially since we had also ordered a large breakfast and coffees. Absolutely disgusting customer service. What has happened to The Dome 👎
Cathy — Google review
Chose Dome while we were at Hillarys due to it being wet and cold. Friday afternoon and not much else was open apart from the ice cream stores. Nice cosy atmosphere but food and coffee not so great. Toastie was almost cold and had to pull some of the ham out due unable to chew the rind. Husband’s steak sandwich okay. My cappuccino came out quite awhile after the food, lukewarm and tasted more like a hot chocolate than coffee. I was reminded why I don’t go to Dome much
Trace K — Google review
Was quite busy when we arrived. I noticed part of our order was taken from the warmer but didn't come to our table instead it was taken as part of another order but later returned to the warmer and left for several minutes before being brought to our table. Chips although prepared fresh were not hot by the time they arrived at our table. This restaurant seems a little unorganised, many table left uncleared. Staff are however polite and friendly.

This place is a hidden gem. First, you can get excellent brunch, sandwiches and pancakes. Secondly, there's a small children's play area suitable for toddlers! Third, it's right next to a Coles. Fourth, there's ample parking plus sheltered in the basement. Fifth, it's a short drive adte a visit to AQWA. What more can you ask for!

Came here about 20 minutes before closing which I know is not liked. But the staff treated us as if we came at any other time of the day, they were very friendly. I ordered an iced latte and it came in a really big cup for its price which was nice. Recommend the brownie as it tasted beautiful, but ask to have it warmed as I had it cold and it was a bit tough but no complaints. Tables were clean and atmosphere was as welcoming as you’d want a cafe to be. The prices were great as well! A great little gem hidden in Hillarys. Highly recommend!

Flinderz Cafe offers a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends over breakfast. The vibe is excellent, and although it gets quite busy, it never feels overcrowded, which is a huge plus. I'd definitely recommend making a booking, especially on weekends, to secure a table. The cafe itself is impeccably clean and tidy, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's a fantastic place for a casual and enjoyable meal.

A very nice lady at the counter who served me and the hot chocolate was good. However I was told there was an almond and dark chocolate muffin by said lady, which is what I asked for, but I was given a banana muffin and by the time I realised I had already driven off. It was still nice but now what I wanted. Man with a man-bun is the one who got and heated up the muffin so I assume his mistake. He has some of, if not the worst customer service I’ve seen. Not only did he get me the wrong order but he also made no attempt to talk to me, just threw the muffin down in the bench and as I wasn’t sure it was mine I was going to ask but he had already turned away and did not seem to care at all. The man making the drinks told me it was mine, he was nice and makes an excellent hot chocolate, but not sure I would go back after such rude service.

A group of us recently went for breakfast. Food was quite good except I ordered the Flinderz breakfast which was supposed to have Maple bacon which it did not. When I spoke to the manager he just laughed it off and said it was because the kitchen was busy. No apologies. We finished our meals and sat with our dirty plates with staff going back and forth bringing food to other tables but not clearing our table. The manager even served one of us cake that was ordered and placed it in front of the dirty plates. The dirty plates where still on our table when we left. The stafflooked miserable. Probably because of the rude manager. Very disappointed and won't be returning.

Lot One Kitchen is a beloved spot for brunch enthusiasts and locals, especially those who stop by after a workout at the nearby Whitfords Nodes Stairs. I came here for breakfast with a friend. It was a little crowded inside so we sat outside as the weather was good. We each had the eggs on toast (scrambled eggs, with added bacon option). And we also had a cappucino and a flat white respectively. The food was very good. The person who served us was great! -- friendly and helpful. And the coffee was excellent.

I wasnt going to write a review but after talking with a few friends they advised i should bring it to people's attention the way this cafe notes its prices for food. A girlfriend and I decided to meet at Lot One Kitchen for coffee. We had our coffee and after a long chat thought we would have something lite to eat. Neither wanted much so we looked at 'Sides' which had the listing described as mushroom/cherry tomatoe/avocado with the price noted as $6.00. Sounded good but we both requested a little english spinach (fresh, not cooked). We already had a long mac and a latte while we were chatting. Now I expected the price to be a bit more than $6.00 as we added spinach (fresh, not even cooked). The side dish was nice and fresh and just enough as we both weren't hungry. Once we got to the counter to pay i was advised my side dish and coffee was just over $30.00 and my friend paid the same just over $30.00. I was advised by one friend to call and query the price as she thought like myself and my friend that we were charged incorrectly. So I did call. Upon speaking to the manager I was advised sides can be more expensive than a meal as each side was $6.00 EACH. This was not noted on the menu. The menu read mushrooms/ cherry tomatoes/avacado........$6.00. So for 5 cherry tomatoes we each paid $6.00. For approx 5 small mushrooms each we each paid $6.00. Approx 1/2 avocado each we both each paid $6.00. A handful of uncooked spinach yes we each paid $6.00. I have never seen this way of pricing on a menu. Manager advised this way of noting the pricing on the menu has not been an issue before. Sadly I don't think this is correct. My friend and I are not mind readers and between the both of us and friends we have chattered with no one has ever seen the way this cafe has noted the pricing. It should have been noted for EACH SERVE it is $6.00 each. No false pricing and no guessing games. Might not be an issue to the manager as she is aware each serve of the sides is $6.00 each but if you haven't been there before and you not the manager or a staff member at this cafe you would not know the that sides were $6.00 EACH SERVE.

Can get pretty busy and loud here on the weekend so would recommend coming here during the week if you’re able to. The menu has a good variety of options, a little on the expensive side but so is everything these days. The food was nice although the crumpets were more like thick pancakes and the gnocchi pieces were smaller in size and less fluffy. Service can be a bit slow during busy periods, we ordered a couple of coffees which had been forgotten but they ended up making it for us and covered the costs which was nice.

Moments Cafe is a charming spot that has captured the hearts of many since its inception in 2013. With its eclectic decor and relaxed ambiance, it’s the perfect place to enjoy classic breakfast dishes, mouthwatering burgers, and delectable desserts. This cafe has become a beloved gathering place for families and friends alike, where memories are made over delicious meals.
I first came to Moments Cafe just after we had our firstborn son, in the summer of 2013. He warmed immediately to the place and so did I! Sunday breakfasts were always hard to get a table, but that's understandable when the food and the service are as good as they are! Over the months when we lived nearby it became a key place to make memories, have great coffee and be served with class by Linda, Richard, and the rest of the team at Moments Cafe. I came back here today because I had a an appointment nearby and was so heartened to again see Linda and Richard all these years later. Today, I had the bruschetta (incredible) and a cloudy apple juice. It was quiet when I got here (which had me nervous) but I needn't have worried as things were notably busy by the time I finished my lunch. I really can't recommend this place. It's unassuming and understated. Beneath that humility is a welome respite from quite Joondy streets and a place built and nurtured with love, care and enthusiasm. Great spot.

This is the smallest “big breakfast” I’ve had, both my eggs which I requested to be poached were both hard in the middle. My mushroom lacked seasoning but apart from that everything else tasted good, the hash brown was crispy and not oily, the sausage was tasty but I only got 1 and it was small. One thing I really did enjoy was the particular bread they use for this meal it was eatable with everything in the meal.

I recently enjoyed lunch here and was thoroughly impressed by the presentation. The kitchen clearly takes pride in its work, as everything was presented so well. I cannot fault the plating of the food, and the cocktails looked and tasted just as impressive. While our mains were a tad underseasoned, the meal overall was still a great feed and an extremely enjoyable experience. We visited Bar Chichetti for a date night at Hillarys Beach Club and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious — we ordered the Chicken Milanese, Rigatoni alla Vodka, and the Grilled Broccolini. Everything was full of flavour and well prepared, especially the rigatoni with the spicy N’duja and stracciatella. The atmosphere by the beach made it even better — relaxed, stylish, and perfect for a night out. Great spot for dinner with beautiful coastal vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited The Heart for lunch yesterday after hearing a lot of positive reviews. We went specifically after receiving recommendations for the steak sandwich which my partner devoured in less than 10 minutes. I opted for the Sunday Roast and the beef was cooked to perfection, literally melt in the mouth. The perfect vegetable accompaniments and amount of gravy. Being British I am pretty fussy when it comes to roasts but even the Yorkshire Pud passed the test. We will definitely be back and can see why this place was packed.

We have visited the club a couple of times in the recent months for birthday celebrations. Their staff were very accommodating and professional. Food was well presented and delicious. And a great atmosphere and a fabulous view.

We had an amazing evening at Bar Cicchetti with friends. We opted for the feed me menu, food was lovely and fresh and plenty for everyone. Alessia our waitress was fantastic, friendly and helpful with our choices. Would highly recommend 😁

Booked my birthday dinner with 14 family and friends in Bar Cicchetti. I called in a couple of days earlier to check where our table would be. The staff member said they would put two tables together to allow plenty of room for my guests. When I arrived on the date of my birthday booking, they had crammed 14 chairs around only one long table and didn’t put the other table at the end. There were two chairs at each end of the table which was totally impractical for comfort. I had two guests cancel at the last minute, so we moved two of the chairs from both ends of the table out of the way. As my guests started to arrive, we discussed the table arrangement and asked the wait staff if it was possible to add the other table so we had more room to sit comfortably. In the end, we decided to stick to the one table. It was impossible for anyone to move in and out of their chairs once seated, so that was awkward. In future, please think of larger people sitting at a table and don’t scrimp on their comfort. On the positive side, the wait staff we had was outstanding and we gave her a large tip at the end of our evening. She was attentive, intuitive and so much fun. The food was mostly delicious, apart from the spaghetti carbonara I’d ordered being so cheesy and gluggy. I was quite unwell the next morning as a result. Thank you for allowing me to bring bouquets of flowers from my garden for the table and for bringing out my birthday cake and cutting it up for my guests.

We enjoyed brunch at Bar Cicchetti. Food & drinks were nice. Staff were attentive. Nice ambience. Food came out fast. We ordered Brenty's Big Brekkie & Spicy Scrambled Eggs. I would've given a 5 ✨️ but felt the price point is slightly high. Overall 👍 Would recommend & come again.

A lovely neighborhood cafe. We dropped in for breakfast and ordered the Acai bowl and coffee. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was presented really well and tasted as good as it looked. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful coffee… except the cost! I’ve never been charged an extra $1 for Almond milk, that’s just Crazy! At 6.30, for a SMALL coffee! I wasn’t told of this ‘extra’ when paying, until I asked why it wasn’t the price as per the Menu Board.. Won’t be back at this price. I only gave one star for service as asked for my coffee warm, and received it really hot!

Nestled in the heart of Joondalup, Miss Maud Joondalup is a delightful Swedish patisserie that invites you to indulge in an array of scrumptious sandwiches, cakes, and traditional pastries. The warm ambiance makes it a perfect spot for any occasion. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or savoring their exquisite offerings over coffee, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings.
We arrived at about 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. Even though the place closes at 5:00, they still were opened which is absolutely awesome. The pepper, steak pie and princess cake was great. So was the matcha latte. (I really do enjoy the decor as well) Shout out to the staff for allowing us to enjoy our meal until 3 minutes before they were closing. That was very kind. Enjoy!

It was quite busy when we went but the wait time for both our food and drinks was reasonable. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Lunch at Miss Maud’s today… behold this generous salad: one heroic sliver of tomato, a single cucumber coin, and a daring trio of onion threads. Truly, Miss Maud’s must be teetering on the brink of bankruptcy after such flamboyant generosity. The meal was billed as chicken and avocado — though the avocado clearly had a scheduling conflict and could only pop in for a cameo appearance. All this for the modest price of $20.95. Fine dining? Or performance art? You decide. 🥗
Mistress C — Google review
I ordered a burger and small chips. My wife, who wasn't particularly hungry, asked for a child's fish and chips. The burger was OK, nothing to rave about. The chips appeared to be deep fried, under cooked, and tasted awful. But the highlight was definitely the fish - if you could call it that. The three pieces of 'fish' consisted of enough fish to fill a skinny straw, surrounded by a thick beer batter. Miss Maude should not be allowed to sell this as fish, when really all it consists of is batter. The tea and coffee were ok. We will NEVER go to Miss Maude in the future.

My Visit to Miss Maud Joondalup I walked into Miss Maud in Joondalup this evening, and unfortunately, it was a shocking experience. I was met by a young lady with a very poor attitude. All I asked for was a catering menu, and her only response was, “We are closed.” I have never experienced such rudeness. Her fellow staff members looked just as shocked as I was. Thankfully, another staff member—a gentleman—came from the back, politely gave me a menu, and explained how I could order online. He was professional and helpful, and I truly appreciate his assistance. I believe she should be trained better on customer service, as her attitude was unacceptable. I am a big fan of Miss Maud’s food, but after this evening, I left feeling disappointed and shocked.

Absolutely disgusting eggs served to me today, Joondalup, this is not my only bad experience of this particular cafe, but it's definitely the worst. Asked for the sausage, hash brown and egg brekkie, eggs were meant to be over easy, however what I got was cremated! Never even attempted to eat them. Looked around for a server to come clear away so I could complain and there wasn't one to be had! All seemed to be blethering behind the counter. Only thing good about today was the server, never seen her before so she's either a newbie or a Saturday shifter. She was pleasant and friendly. However that said, I won't go back, I should've learned a lesson first time round. I've added a photo in the photo tab.

Typical Miss Mauds. I'm not a huge fan of Miss Mauds anyway, however the people I was with wanted to go have coffee here. Coffee to me is very average, and I go to a lot of different cafes. Didn't have a meal, just coffee and pot of Tea. Tea apparently was OK bug not that strong. A bit like my coffee. Atmosphere was average too. I've rated Miss Mauds 3 stars out of 5 based on experience from visiting other cafes. Personal taste really.

I ordered pumpkin soup for my friend who is a big eater and loves her food. When I looked at her soup, she left half of it. I asked her what’s wrong with her soup, she said that no pumpkin in it. This Domes is quite large, with booths, indoor tables, and some patio type seating. The food is good quality, well-presented and delicious. My mum had pepper squid, which she loves, and she was not disappointed. I had a meat pie and a flat white. Both were very good. I'm always pleased with the food quality when I visit a Dome Cafe. I have a friend in the US who still talks about their vanilla slices after having one about five years ago.

Went to Dôme Kingsley expecting a decent meal and left seriously disappointed. The service was slow and uninterested, like we were an inconvenience just for showing up. Food was bland, overpriced, and arrived lukewarm — not to mention the coffee tasted burnt. Tables were sticky, and the overall vibe felt tired and unclean. Definitely not worth the money or the wait. Plenty of better options nearby. Won’t be back.

I recently visited Dome in Joondalup with my family and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I ordered the Big Breakfast, which was cooked perfectly with generous portions and full of flavour. Mum enjoyed the Salmon Eggs Benedict, which was beautifully presented and had a great balance of taste, while Dad went for the Pancakes that were fluffy, light, and served just right. Every dish was well-prepared and satisfying, making it a thoroughly enjoyable meal for all of us. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding—Jessica, our server, went above and beyond with her friendly attitude, attention to detail, and warm hospitality. I’ve visited Dome Cafe a few times and found it to be a decent spot for a casual meal or coffee. The food and drinks are generally okay, though nothing particularly stands out. Well this Dome in Joondallup is in a good position, plenty of parking, the food is clean and the deep fryer has clean oil, food prices are in line with other coffee shops, this Dome has a good atmosphere along with the staff. Had a great brunch here today. Went for the big breakfast and it was really good. Poached eggs cooked well, bacon a bit crispy the way I like it. Lovely mushroom and the polenta and potato hash brown was really tasty. It was also great to see a real sausage on the plate, very nice indeed. Washed it all down with a great cappuccino. This looks like a good place to come for dinner too, I fancy trying the wood fired pizza. Licenced and plenty of parking as it's in a small shopping centre. Went to this cafe this afternoon while driving by. Was not impressed. We walked in and was basically yelled at the coffee machine was broken. This young man was so rude. We went on to order tea and scones, he didn’t acknowledge us in anyway, just seemed really annoyed we were even there. I understand when machines are broken it’s stressful, but watched him with others and he was beyond rude. My daughter wanted a milkshake. Was told kitchen was closed, I asked for a milkshake. He said “ yea fine” We were there at 3.25pm with a closing time of 4pm. The only saving grace was the lovely maybe Irish girl working. Otherwise the man there was rude as anything and I don’t think we would go back with him working there. Such a shame for a small local cafe that staff are so rude

The pancake pistachio photo was very misleading. It looked very good so wanted to try; but Reality is very different!!! The food is absolutely disgusting at this maccers! They cut burger patties in half down the middle so you end up with a thin beef patty with a smooth side & a side that I can only described as a dried out leathery tongue. The coffee is blargh & I gave up on asking for sugar in it after the 2nd time of asking & not getting any. Both visits here, there's been no where quiet or peaceful to sit. The staff are nice, but the manager needs to learn to do his pants up, he was walking around for a good 10 mins with his fly down. Better off just going to the service station for food & coffee, it's cheaper & nicer.

Typical Maccas went after midnight on long drive back to Perth. Coffee was okay. Cheese burger not the best. Meat very overcooked and thinner than usual, (Has shrinkflation further hit in the form of less meat in a patty? I wonder if a quarter pounder would still be just that? Hmmm...). Anyway chips were hot out of the fryer, but were a little under done. At least container was full and wasn't half a container of chips as are other Maccas seem to do regularly lately too.

Dôme Café - Warwick offers a delightful dining experience with its impressive menu featuring a variety of options. The toasted sandwiches are particularly noteworthy, boasting thick, crispy bread that adds to the overall enjoyment. Guests can also savor a nice cup of tea while appreciating the relatively quick service. Although some staff members may still be in training, their eagerness to learn is evident and adds to the café's charm. The manager’s friendly approach and openness to feedback create an inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
Great selection, the toasted sandwich was thick toast n crispy toasted, excellent, tea was nice, service was relatively fast. Pricing was reasonable. Very poor customer service from one of the girls after I raised an issue. I requested for my chai latte to be served in a takeaway cup, when I was still at the counter paying for the order. However, they didn't fill it up & upon enquiring from her, she said that I hadn’t paid for the takeaway cup. I asked her why she didn’t say so when I was still at the counter earlier and she was very dismissive, saying that I could now top up money for them to have it filled up, totally disregarding her lack of proper communication. Her attitude was wanting; I’ve never experienced such in any Dome before.

Server got my order wrong. I ordered the big breakfast, with hollandaise on the side. My drink had come out about 15 minutes. My meal came out probably just under 20 minutes. The drinks and kitchen need to be more in sync. My drink was going cold by the time my meal was served. I had ordered soft poached eggs but the girl had put hard. I returned them to the counter and another girl was going to sort it out. She comes back and said that I had ordered hard eggs as that's what the first person had put on my order. Understandably not kitchens fault but if I ordered hard eggs I wouldn't need to be returning them for soft ones. Then the bacon I'd overly cooked to the point of inedible. I had to spit it out as it just was way over crispy/burnt. Mushrooms need cooking a bit longer. Very bland. Tomato needs to be grilled. You're pretty much eating it uncooked. Hollandaise when I order at other domes is warmed. I received cold hollandaise because the server had forgotten it when she brought my breakfast. This is my least favourite Dome. Paid almost $40 and it just wasn't worth it for this place.

After years of frequenting this place I think today I’ll post a review due to my “experience” under what I assume is new management. I was served by someone that should not be in customer service if they cannot smile. Looked SO pissed off. My order was recorded wrong - they made my almond milk coffee up as “lactose free” which they fixed, but I wouldn’t have caught this if I hadn’t ordered 1 full cream and 1 oat milk of the same drink and asked which one was almond milk. THANK YOU to the lady that caught this - you have saved my gut and weeks of being sick, you’re a legend. $72 for 3 drinks, a kids chips and 2 lots of waffles. Just missing the service with a smile.

Really bad service, we order flat white coffees and all extra hot. But it's just like a warm water. We paid for dine in and they served us in takeaway cups. And we paid for all food together and mentioned beverages hold for later with coffee but they served beverages very first, not even get the main food get ready.

We went to Dome Warwick yesterday Sat 13/9/25. We have always had good food there. We paid for our meals and seemed to be waiting an eternity for it to arrive! When it did , it wasn’t even average. My lasagna was only just warm and my daughter and friends chips were very pale and covered in salt. Won’t be going back in a hurry. Then when we leaving, a staff member had started to sweep up but then just the piles of dirty for everyone to walk through!!

We have been going to the Dome at Warwick for many years and always enjoyed everything. Today we went there after we hadn't been for a few months, it wasn't busy at all like it usually was which we thought was good. We paid for order at 12.05pm and our coffees arrived shortly after. After about 30 minutes we still hadn't received our meals even though people who come in a while after us had already received theirs. I asked one of the staff to check on our meals but didn't get a reply, another 15 minutes past so I asked another staff to check & still not reply as to why they were taking so long. After another 10 minutes our meals finally arrived with barely an apology. Well, the toast was cold & hard, tomato was so mushy I couldn't even pick it up on the fork, hashbrown was soggy & the mushrooms were cold, dry & brittle but eggs, bacon & sausage were OK. We should have taken the meals back but decided to eat what was edible as by this time we were hungry. So many tables were dirty even though we could see staff standing in the kitchen chatting and laughing - clearly whoever was in charge didn't care either. To add insult to injury the female toilets were disgusting. One toilet had an "out of order" sign and the other one had a filthy seat, no sanitary bin and then it didn't flush so in fact there were 2 toilets "out of order" *** Never going there again *** 😡

Our meal (a burger, fish and chips and a couple milkshakes) took over 45 minutes to come out. The fish and burger were really disappointing- my husband removed the patty from his burger to make the rest of it edible. The milkshakes and chips were nice. The staff were quite friendly but the service was ridiculously slow.

Dôme Café - Currambine is a delightful spot that truly shines when it comes to customer service and quality coffee. During my recent visit, I was greeted by a charming young woman who not only prepared our flat whites with beautiful latte art but also engaged in friendly conversation, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that the staff at Dôme Café - Currambine are dedicated to creating a warm atmosphere for their guests.
i’m especially writing this review to acknowledge a waitress at the store named Skye. she gave excellent customer service. very friendly & welcoming. I hope she’s given the appreciation & recognition she deserves. also, very yummy blueberry muffins.

To start, the service is very mediocre and the workers hardly look like they want to be here. They don't listen to requests, I asked for no salad for either my lasagna or tenders and they both came out with salad. had to give the salad plate back to the lady as there wasnt even space on my table for it. This goes to show how careless they are for wasting food. I've never had an above average meal here despite ordering different things every time. Today I ordered a lasagna and asked for no salad on the side. Instead? I get a lasagne the size of my palm with a salad bigger than the portion. After realising how small the lasagna was, I was very grateful I also ordered chicken tenders until realising how overcooked and dry they were. Nothing more unpleasant than eating dry chicken. I usually order the fluffy koala which you can't go wrong with. While I love the fluffy koala, it is yet again another example of the carelessness of waste produced by dome. While I've had it dine in multiple times they continuously serve it in a takeaway cup which would likely cause huge wastage judging how popular the drink is. Today as it's 15° out I tried their hot chocolate which tastes worse than a pod machine drink. Water with possibly a sprinkle of chocolate and 4cm of froth. You're better off going to a small business owned cafe, get more bang for your buck and better quality. Even then some small businesses are also cheaper. Though I've given dome a good few redemption attempts I'm yet again leaving with the "overpriced and overrated" judgment I've always had.

Took the family to breakfast this morning. Spent $95 for 4 breakfasts and 3 drinks. Absolutely insane. I paid &18 for a smearing of avo and 2 pigeon eggs….. highly disappointed. Had to ask for someone to clear the table once we HAD already received our food….. eggs cold…. Just a horrid experience.

I haven’t eaten, or had a coffee at Dome Currambine for 7/8 years, having moved out of the area, before that I was a regular for years. I was with a friend for coffee and lunch. I ordered a chicken Ceaser roll up. When it was served I had mixed emotions. I didn’t know whether to laugh or throw it back at them. Instead of fried chips as expected as an accompaniment, I got “Smiths” type packet chips. What a laugh what a shocking audacity to serve that up. I’ll never be going back there again. 🤬🤬

I visited today with a friend for coffee and had such a lovely experience. We arrived around 5 pm, and the young woman who served us was absolutely delightful. She took our order for two regular flat whites, prepared them beautifully with lovely latte art, and delivered them with such a warm, genuine smile. When we complimented her work, she stayed to chat with us for a few minutes and was so friendly and gracious. It was really refreshing to see that level of warmth and engagement. The other two young women working at the time were equally lovely, smiling every time they walked past our table. We usually come in on Sunday afternoons, and I hadn’t seen this particular barista before. When we asked, she mentioned she’d been there a couple of years, which surprised us—we hadn’t met her before, but she was truly a delight. All of the staff were wonderful, the coffees were excellent, and the café itself was clean, welcoming, and had such a positive, cosy atmosphere. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. ❤️

It's a shame that the booth seats are not cleaned at all with food, dirt and paper stuck between the cushions and cushions need recovering. 😫 the cleanliness lowers the ambience of a nice place to enjoy a good coffee ☕️

Wrong atmosphere on an early cold morning, doors wide open, ceiling fans on, colder indoors than out and ‘heavy’ jazz music more like 2am in Ronny Scott’s Jazz Club London back in the 90’s…. Warm the place up guys it’s like cold comfort farm!

Trotters Cafe is an inviting spot that’s perfect for gathering with friends or family. As you step inside, the delightful scents of freshly brewed coffee and mouthwatering dishes envelop you, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cafe boasts an extensive menu filled with tempting options, making it a challenge to choose just one dish!
I recently checked out this café, and wow, it was such a great experience! The vibe is super cozy and welcoming from the second you walk in. The staff are friendly and really know their stuff—helped me pick out a great drink and pastry without missing a beat. I had their signature latte, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of strength. The pastry was fresh and the perfect complement to my coffee. You can really tell they care about quality and make everything with attention to detail. If you’re looking for a spot to relax, work, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’m already planning my next trip!

First time in Australia and got a very good experience here. I had spinach, pulled pork, poached egg, potato crumb With sriracha hollandaise sauce. I spent 23.9 AUD...... reasonable price😆 The staff is very friendly.

Delishhh brunch at Trotters yesterday! They have a pretty extensive menu with so many good choices so the only problem you’re gonna have is deciding what to eat! My partner and I love a late breakfast and this is one of the few places in the area that seem to be open late & do breakfast after 12. He got the classic eggs & bacon whilst I got the egg, chicken and bacon wrap - this was done so well 🤤 creamy eggs, crispy bacons succulent chicken - all round delishhh!! They also do a lovely hollandaise sauce (not thick like conventional hollandaise) but we loved it! Can’t wait to go back and try their other items 😌

Delicious breakfast burrito. Took 5 mins to come out which is a good sign it’s made fresh to order and it was. Nice work Chef! Drove past here many times assuming it’s just a greasy British/Irish style cafe so never bother to try but I happy to say I was wrong! Good selection on the menu and good coffee 👍

After I paid, I was then told I'd need to wait 15-20 minutes. After I paid.. good customer service provides that Information ℹ️ before you pay. I had time so I waited, 38! Minutes later I get breakfast and the bread isn't even toasted.. Won't go there again.

Stopped by Trotters Cafe, Joondalup for a quick break and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the avocado fresh burritos and a coffee, and both hit the spot. The burritos were light but satisfying—plenty of fresh avocado, crisp veggies, and a nicely balanced seasoning. They tasted fresh and felt healthy, which was perfect for a mid-day recharge. The coffee was well-brewed, smooth, and just strong enough to perk me up without being bitter. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, making it a great place to unwind for a bit. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Overall, a solid choice for a light, fresh meal and a good cup of coffee.

Great food, good service. Got the crispy chicken tacos (absolutely divine) and the trotters burger 🍔. Good taste, great crunch on the chicken, and the coleslaw is out of this world. Quick service Would highly recommend giving it a try if in Joondalup.. 💯

I enjoyed my big vege breakfast. My sweet potato rosty was great but the black pudding tasted like it was half cut with sausage meat. I certainly know what black pudding tastes like my butcher is an Irish butcher! I got the brisket burger as well to go and I certainly was not impressed at all. Very tucked away business you would never know it's there. Great restaurant area and very chill vibes.

Marmalade Cafe is a delightful spot that has quickly become a favorite for many. The chef salad, served with a lovely balsamic dressing, strikes the perfect balance in portion size—neither too large nor too small. Even during peak hours, the service remains efficient; one guest experienced a mix-up with their order but was impressed by how swiftly the staff rectified it.
Went in not expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't much of a wait, the food was delicious and well presented. Lovely staff. The lighting bothered me a bit, but that might just be a me problem (there were some bright overhead lights that were kind of unnecessary as the rest of the centre is lit well with softer lighting). Overall, fantastic. Will be returning.

We've been coming to Marmalade once a week for several weeks now and enjoyed lovely morning teas. Date scones, fruit toast, muffins are very nice, coffee and tea also very good. Staff are bright, cheerful and helpful. This cafe is very popular for good reason. It's refreshing to find a cafe that's homely and not too trendy.

I feel like for the last year or 2 the coffee was been phenomenal and super consistent. I'd avoided it before that because I often hadn't enjoyed the coffee... But we got here every week or 2 now and haven't had even an average coffee in at least 2 years. I'm a total marmalade convert
Dylan W — Google review
I love the chef salad. The portion is perfect (the portion tends to be too big for me at many cafes), and the balsamic dressing is lovely. The food comes on time from my experience. Just the other day the waiter served me the chef salad with smoked salmon on top instead of the chicken I ordered. I told him about the mistake, and he took it away swiftly, and then came back with the chicken version 10 minutes later (it was peak time), and he said “here is your salad, I’m sorry that was my fault.” He then asked me how the salad was after I finished eating which was another nice surprise. I haven’t been asked that for a while at a coffee shop. I think this type of care can especially make a cafe shine in Perth, where a large portion of the service industry tends to not apologise for mistakes or hold any accountability compared to other cities. I love their salad, and well done to the waiter for providing great service. It really makes a BIG difference👏

$15.50 for a big burger and a decent serving of chips, bargain in this economy. Burger was hot and fresh, chips were seasoned nicely too. Little bit of a wait but that’s to be expected as it was very busy

Boulevard Cafe and Tearooms is a delightful gem that transports you back to the charm of a 1950s English tea room. Whether you're in need of a last-minute platter for six or simply craving some scrumptious cupcakes, this cafe excels in accommodating requests with grace and efficiency. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind over quality coffee, tea, or delicious meals.
This is my first time ordering from here. I made a desperate call after 3pm yesterday to see if I could possibly get a platter to feed 6 people and 6 cupcakes to be ready for lunchtime today. I didn’t expect I could at such short notice but not only did I get sausage rolls, mixed sandwiches and cold drinks they whipped up 6 cupcakes in black and white (simple nod to the Pies) as per my very last minute request. This service definitely blew me away I thought I may have been offered a plate of sandwiches and a slice. 10 of 10 for the customer service I received and everyone was very happy with the food and presentation.

Been to many cafes and restaurants… first time reviewing. Came here on Mother’s Day with my partner so naturally the place is more busy and under pressure. Ordered wedges, bruschetta, and tea. Wedges were good, nothing special but tasty as always. Bruschetta was definitely a disappointment, bread was not even toasted properly or had that char, too many random toppings and plate was coated in excess balsamic, not cohesive. Tea was off a generous portion and was quite enjoyable. Multiple dishes were also not clean. Service at register was subpar and not professional, didn’t know their own menu. Takeaways: service needs work, some dishes were unclean, bruschetta was not the best, wedges were worth it!

What a lovely, gentle place to relax and refresh with a fine quality tea or coffee or cake or meal. For me it is like stepping back in time to a 1950’s English tea room. Service is excellent as is the food and drink. This is no Starbucks…it is nice and welcoming. As Arnold says, “I’ll be back.”

I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The service was extremely disappointing, staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. To make matters worse, the plates were dirty, which is completely unacceptable. All I could hear was the harsh sound of burnt coffee being made, which only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. The food arrived cold and lacked any real flavour or effort. We were also charged an extra $5 for a tiny piece of avocado absolutely not worth the money. Overall, a very underwhelming experience and definitely not one I’ll be repeating. What a shame.

McDonald's Duncraig is a classic fast-food destination that has stood the test of time, renowned for its delicious burgers and crispy fries. As a delivery driver, I had the opportunity to experience their service firsthand and was particularly impressed by Adam, the service manager. His dedication to ensuring quick deliveries sets a high standard among McDonald's locations. The restaurant maintains a clean environment with attentive staff who are always approachable, making it an inviting spot for customers.

Crazy experience this morning when I tried to get breakfast. Firstly I ordered through the app. Food eventually showed up but it was extremely burnt. Also the blonde waitress ACCUSED me of stealing a drink, when in fact her boss called out my number and she called out my number which was the same. The blonde waitress then went back to what she was doing it but was extremely slow paced. She then was reprimanded by her boss and her boss started yelling at her. Made the whole vibe of getting breakfast very stressful. Also, food had such a vulgar aftertaste. Please see images below.

Rare come McDonald's Came this brunch at 12 noon on Wednesday. A lot of carparks. Standard setting: Drive-through, little children's playground outside, outdoor dining area, McCafe, and toilet. Clean and tidy. Quiet. More menus more choices on the apps. The manager served us at the counter. Ordered Bundle for 4 and paid by card at the counter. Not wait long (2-3 people were waiting + drive-through). Staff: indifferent. Bundle for 4, <$40: can choose 4 burgers (up to Big Mc, we chose cheese burgers), 4 soft drinks, 4 chips, and nuggets with 2 sachets of sauces. Good value.

Picked up the food from this McDonalds as a delivery driver. I would like to mention that Adam, the service manager is the hardest working manager out of all other McDonalds I have seen. Thank you for your consideration, I wish other McDonalds”Manager” think as you do the importance of fast delivery as you do. Time is money for the delivery people as well as fresh food to the customers. We do understand that things get busy at night, and less crew. But your attitude and consideration by at least acknowledging the order, and notifying the estimated time for getting the food ready is greatly appreciated. I was completely surprised to see that. Delivery person does not mind waiting, but to treat us as a hassle when we are trying to do our job by ignoring and making us wait while only concentrating on the drive thru, is basically not respecting us and our time. AT least have a decency to have some one at the pick up window, acknowledging the order. That way you have the delivery order getting through one by one. Once again thank you Adam for your consideration. The way you handled 10-15 orders in 15-17 minutes was amazing to see. You had drive thru under control as well as delivery getting through seamlessly. Mind you, you had almost same number of staff if not more as the other stores. Furthermore, I wonder if the Manager can work, to do a job and get 5- 8 dollars on average to complete one order but has to wait for 20-30 minutes to pick up the order. Basically 10-16 dollars per hour working at night. McDonald BRABHAM and the worst one in Perth is “ MALVERN SPRING” should learn the process from you. I would like to see those Managers getting Paid 16 dollars per hour working at Midnight. Thats all for my frustration, but Adam has given me hope. Keep it up. I hope the Owners recognise your hard efforts.
Neil A — Google review
Average Maccas. Wait times can be pretty long and the young workers are always much more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. Especially going through drive through they shove the food in your direction without even pausing their conversations. Make sure you check your orders before you leave as they forget things. Food is usually tasty though.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction following an exceptionally poor experience at your Duncraig location. On our recent visit, not only was the food served entirely cold — which is frankly unacceptable from any establishment, let alone one of your global stature — but we were also denied something as basic as water. I must ask: since when has offering water to paying customers become optional? To compound the situation, we were not provided with the sauces we specifically paid for. This may seem a minor oversight to some, but it demonstrates a distinct lack of attention to detail and respect for the customer experience. I find the level of service appalling, and far below what one should reasonably expect — even from a fast food outlet. I do hope this message is taken seriously and prompts some much-needed reflection and retraining at this branch. Kindly advise what steps will be taken to address this.

Hello, I was in this particular McDonalds today when I ordered my 10 peice nuggets and I it only came with six so I went up to the kind ginger Lady At the counter and asked where were my nuggets that I had paid for and she kindly brung out the manager who was extremely rude! I had previously heard her yelling at the coworkers creating an unsafe environment. I never ended up getting my nuggets.

Slice of Italy is a charming family-run pizzeria nestled in the lively heart of Edith Cowan University's Joondalup campus. The restaurant offers a down-to-earth Italian dining experience with outdoor seating and picturesque lake views. Their menu caters to various tastes and dietary preferences, featuring tantalizing pizzas with crispy crusts and savory toppings that delight the palate. In addition to exceptional pizza, guests can savor aromatic coffee that transports them to the vibrant streets of Rome.
My favourite pizza place in Perth. I also go here every time i'm on campus to get coffee. The owner makes great coffee and has known my order for the past 4 years, I don't even need to ask anymore. Very personalised service, the staff get to know everyone who comes in. The $10 pizzas on cheap Tuesday are a bargain, and the pizza by the slice is pretty cheap the rest of the time. They also make fantastic fresh rolls, have a small range of breakfast options (like bacon and egg rolls), muffins that they bake daily, and a good selection of drinks and other snacks. **Update** since the renovations last year (2017) Slice of Italy has created a lovely seating atmosphere inside with great booths with powerpoints and USB charging points. Perfect for a study spot on campus. Also during university holidays they have limited hours during the week, usually from around 7:00 - 11:30 for your morning coffee needs. (see additional photos for renovation.)

Great coffee I think it’s the best coffee in the joondalup area and they also do delicious pizzas. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Great place to come for a pizza and there’s plenty space for kids to run around also. They also do a good brekky roll

Great service, fantastic casual atmosphere, superb coffee(they roast there own beans) and great pizzas. The team is fun and friendly and super engaging. I love coffee and find my self disappointed quite frequently but the team at slice get it spot on every time. My kids even love tagging along and having a walk around the lake once our bellies are full!

Hungry Jack's Burgers Joondalup is a beloved fast-food destination that has been serving up hearty beef and chicken burgers for years. Not only do they offer a mouthwatering selection of burgers, but their thick-cut chips are truly a standout—perfectly seasoned to provide an irresistible crunch on the outside while remaining fluffy and hot within. You might find it hard to share these delicious fries!
Standard of food and service has improved, and travellers are able to find many phone charging and power outlets in restaurant, unlike many other burger places. Thanks!

Just want to start off by saying I usually love HJ, I was passing through ordered something from the gourmet range at dinner time, to note neither of the self ordering stands receipts were working so staff obviously never replace the paper. Being dinner time I thought I would get a nice fresh burger from the gourmet range. Instead I got something I wouldn't feed my dog I took one bite and the meat patty was so dry it tasted foul, I couldn't eat any of it. Unfortunately I had already returned to my hotel at the time and couldn't return my food. Now I get they keep meet in the trays and make the burger to order but this meat must have been in there the whole day which is extremely poor QM. I can't express how poor this was for a premium burger, won't ever be back to this store or getting anything from the gourmet range again.....

$10 for 4 has browns is one thing. Discovering that are cold is another. Just couldn’t be bothered to turn around being through the traffic lights already at that point in yet another attempt to educate these kids for the millionth time about something I paid for and minimum expectations. The one time I wasn’t asked to go park for 10mins you would at least expect food to be warm. Done. Had enough. Just won’t go anymore.
Jake R — Google review
The Manager rostered on at 6:12pm on 4th of September 2025 was very incompetent and rude to customers, all the staff were disorganised and there was the sound of dropping trays echoing through the shop coming from the kitchen, we heard this noise atleast 6 times whilst management were screaming ‘she doesn’t want to know’ ‘don’t tell her’ to staff. This was very disorganised when ordering food and no one knew what food belonged to them. staff were working very slow, making orders delayed by approximately 30 mins. When the order was received, the food came out cold and the order was incorrect as I ordered a fanta but received a coke. When I had asked if the food was mine due to the chaos of being unsure as I didn’t receive an order number the management had turned around and said in a very rude and sarcastic tone ‘take it’ and walked off, this was absolutely appalling to see how this place was being managed, as well as the drive through being full of cars with no productivity or concern within the kitchen or among staff.

My husband and I ordered two coffees and a date and walnut piece of cake to share. The young lady was very polite and took our order and directed us to our seat. The coffees arrived promptly followed by our cake. Surprise surprise the one piece of cake was perfectly sliced and presented on individual plates with cream. What service, totally unexpected. My sweetheart & I had coffee & cake this morning. Hotbeverages were great. Creme brulee scrumptious. However we were very disappoined that we were charged 0.50cents for the short macchiato to be topped up. Never paid extra money for a macchiato to be topped up in any other cafes or restaurants. Furthermore we were charged a surcharge of 1.5% for using EFTPOS . There were no signs indicating there would be a surcharge. Also we had to ask for a receipt. Shame as the food & beverages were excellent. We will not be returning.

Glengarry Coffee House will no longer be there when the renovations start. Do go and try their Amazing Sizzling Prawns, Coffees. Pumpkin soup is so yum! The Orange and lemon cakes…. Ordered a cheesy beef pie and a regular chips with gravy dipping sauce. Was told the fryer had been cleaned so no able to order the chips. This was at 1.27pm on a Saturday. The shop wasn’t due to close until 3 hours later at 4.30. Not sure if the lady serving me had been instructed by Management or she just couldn’t be bothered making the chips then have to clean the fryer again

Jesters have been in Padbury for many years. Over that period I have always found the food well prepared and as to be expected from their characteristically made pies and rolls. Changes happen trends, ownership, product, covid, but my experience, consistency remains. Definitely deserves our local support Thank you.

Went in at 1:30pm on a Saturday, they don’t close until 4:30pm. Practically nothing left. We got some chips & doughnuts. The large chip sizing has halved & the doughnuts were SO stale, quite disgusting. Years ago the chips used to be SO good here, I think they might be thinner now, just not worth the trip, or the money. They’re always out of product too. I never like to leave a negative review, but the past half dozen times we’ve been in, we’ve not been able to get what we want. We won’t bother with the franchise again.

Arrived at approx 11.45 for a Popeye - there were none in the window, when I asked if they could make one up I was told no. There was no explanation, I could understand if it was the end of the day or if they were out of ingredients but just told no. A little disappointing, I usually go the Wangara store where they have great customer service and are always willing to make pies fresh and I’m happy to wait

I came through the drive-thru at the Giraween branch, ordered my usual, and the food and service were absolutely amazing — props to the team, seriously. But as I pulled out, I saw her car parked near the Revo Gym across the road. Not her… just the car. And somehow, that was enough. All the memories — the joy, the love, and the mistakes I made — came flooding back. We never saw each other again after it ended, but seeing her car today brought it all back. I realized in that moment… that was the last time I needed to hold on. I finally let go. That was my last act of love. She’ll always be the best in this world to me. And today, your branch unknowingly helped me say goodbye. Thank you.

Watching a young kid on the burger section make the food, then proceed to touch the bins then a dirty rag and go back to making food. SUPER UNSANITARY THEN the lady calling the orders seemed to be the most unhappy human being in existence. I understand it’s a Thursday afternoon but not even a smile?? And to top it off my hamburger had no pickles, no onions and no mustard?? $4 for some meat in a bun?? A joke. I ordered a Caesar wrap and got lettuce and tomato. Surely it’s not that hard to follow a chart…
Nikeya L — Google review
I ordered a Biscoff coffee frappe, but it wasn’t made correctly. When I told them, the manager himself responded in a rude and unprofessional way, which was really disappointing. He made me a new one, but it still didn’t have any Biscoff in it. I expected better service, especially from someone in a leadership role. If a manager can’t handle a simple complaint respectfully or get the order right, it really affects the whole experience.
Akira — Google review
Firstly, the shop was an absolute pig stye and did not meet health requirements. Waited 15 minutes in store (whilst everyone in drive through is prioritised) for our meal. One of the items was wrong, it was sent back twice for fixing before asking for a refund. I was polite up until the point I got my “fixed meal” back for the third time. Customer service was absolutely non existent, no surprise the ratings are so low at this store.
Holly J — Google review
Went through the drive through and the lady seemed fine with taking my order. Came to window and paid with no problem and I'd specifically asked for a "minecraft big mac meal" I proceeded to the next window to only get the meal in a bag rather than the box. It wasn't a total issue but I wanted to get my moneys worth, as I wanted it in box with the toy. When id asked why it isn't in the box with the toy the lady had asked me, "oh you wanted the minecraft meal?" Well yeah that's what I told the receptionist no? She'd given me just the unfolded box and toy and told me to have great day. Sure I guess I will. I understand how the drive through is meant to be quick and easy and your meant to just give quick. But quite literally no one was infront of us and when it came to me eating my food, it tasted cold like it had been sitting there waiting for someone to take it and the chips didn't even seem fresh. I most likely won't even come back because of this experience.

I’ve been to this cafe multiple times and it has never disappointed. The service is always so helpful and friendly, coffee is delicious and the food is out of this world. I tried the Shakshuka eggs today and they were sooo tasty. It’s always busy on the weekends and for good reason- if there’s no free tables when you arrive, do yourself a favour and wait the short time for one to become available as you won’t be disappointed. Thanks so much Fern Avenue team 💚

We often drop into Fern Avenue Cafe after shopping at nearby Coles in Currambine. The service is always excellent as is the food. My wife, who is particular about her coffee, rates FAC coffee as one of the best she has enjoyed. I always have English breakfast tea brewed to perfection. Again, a better tea than most. Fern Avenue Cafe is freshly decorated with very attractive tables and chairs both inside and out. The cafe is kept remarkably clean by the attentive staff. It's a great place to drop in for a meal or refreshment.

Dear manager, I come here as a door dash driver sometimes. Today, I was waiting for 20 minutes for without paying and apologies. That’s just wasted time. And I felt really bad. I know they are busy and hard working. But you should know that you can extend the time to prepare the orders. They were just putting off the delivery orders. That’s not very helpful. Not you can solve this problem easily if you tell to the staffs how to extend it. Simple as that. It was not first time or second time. Always. So please.

Terrible service and food 🤢🤢 I ordered a vegan burger, but the meal came with recook fries that tasted bad no flavour and no salt. And not filled properly just almost half. When I complained, they said the fries were overcooked because they were cooked a little too long. They replaced the fries with the same ones, just adding a few new fries on top. The service was terrible, and the staff member I spoke with seemed more interested in being clever than helpful. 👎👎👎

After waiting for staff to finish their private conversation, I ordered & specifically asked staff member not to make my sundae until i came back after eating my burger. She didn't listen and it was put on my tray. I reiterated my original request and she "grabbed" it and stuck it in the freezer. I told her I wanted warm syrup and requested a fresh one when required. She threw it in the bin, rolled her eyes and walked away
Liz T — Google review
Received recooked fries and half empty pack of chicken fries that were dead cold. They tried accusing the uber driver for taking to long, I tracked the driver on the app and it took him 4min to get from the store to my house. Refused to replace and stated that it was ubers issue not theres. The manager then tried to justify the poor food quality due to being busy and having kids working, it was 11:15pm on a Wednesday, doubt they where busy and doubt it was kids on a shift that late on a school night. Unacceptable.

Ordered 2 double whoppers with cheese and a single whopper with cheese, onions rings and fries. Was told to park as they were waiting on the meat. We waited a while for everything but that’s ok if it’s going to be freshly cooked …. I live 500 m away from store. Burgers were freezing cold and thrown together. Onion rings were overcooked chewy and also cold.

Hungry Jacks Banksia Grove has to be the worst Hungry Jacks in WA. You never wait less that 30minutes. Staff are rude, like your putting them out by ordering food. Then when you do get food it's cold and slopped together. The owners of this one are clearly more interested in profits than the quality of food and service, they just don't care as long as they get your money. Won't be getting mine again.
