I went for brunch with my partner, and my first thought walking in was, “Damn, it’s so quiet” — but I didn’t think much of it at the time. I ordered the Veg. Gnocchi, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. The dish was far too oily; with every scoop, all I could taste was oil. The gnocchi itself wasn’t cooked properly — some pieces were hard, while others were too soft and chewy. It just wasn’t enjoyable at all. On top of that, the service wasn’t great either. The servers looked confused when we asked simple questions and didn’t seem confident or prepared. The only positive thing I can say is that the place itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the beauty can only take you so far when the food and service don’t match up. I wouldn’t recommend this place. However, if you’d like to experience the disappointment yourself — go for it.

We had a lovely evening at Noble Monks. Ordered a mix of dishes and drinks—chicken wings, arancini balls, beef burger, lamb shank, plus a couple of beers and cocktails. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The buffalo wings were a bit too sour for my taste, but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The lamb shank was especially tender, and the arancini had a great crunch with a creamy center. Drinks were spot on, and the ambiance was warm and inviting—perfect for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner with friends. Would definitely come back to try more from the menu!

First time here for breakfast. We all enjoyed our meals. Tasty, good size. Found some prices a bit much, like $7.50 for an orange juice. The biggest disappointment was the $7.00 charge for using their app to order our meals, which we had to use.

Great venue in an old warehouse with high roof and brick walls. Service was great, just a pity there wasn't much choice for cider and no zero alcohol beer. The food was great, I had a chicken and mushroom pot pie with chips and salad that was almost too big to eat, while my wife had the Caesar salad that she said was good. We could only manage to share a few churros for desert.

Terrible food. Terrible experience. I’m not sure whether this is a new business or what. I’d give a 2 ⭐️ just out of pity. But definitely a 1 ⭐️. I attended this restaurant and I ordered the Carbonara with Chicken and a Chocolate milkshake. Trying my best to finish the food I did need to stop only due to the Carbonara being extremely oily as seen by the picture, the quality I’d expect from a dominoes. Before ordering the milk shake I did request the waiter if they could make it a thickshake and he advised me he’d find out and came back to say they cannot do that. I just wanted extra icecream. I’m sure 1-2 scoops aren’t going to affect your profit margins that much. I even suggested they could and I’d be happy to pay a couple $ extra. This they also declined. Very disappointing to say the least. Went to Lemon Tree Cafe instead - if you see this. Don’t waste your time here. Unless you’re willing to eat subpar food and have lower standards. Just feedback. I’d probably suggest they could be more accommodating with the Thickshake request. Many reputable restaurants would do this for a positive customer service experience. I was surprised they declined. The waiter seemed quite young and inexperienced. They should also make better carbonara that isn’t half oil. Overall I wouldn’t eat there again. I wouldn’t go out of my way to suggest my friends, family or colleagues go. I won’t go again.

Disappointed in the service from our experience today Food took over 1.5 hours after ordering, we asked more than 3 staff members how long our meals would be and were told some time, not long and once completely ignored us. They suggested that the delay was because they wanted to cook everything fresh for us and that they are understaffed and the 15 year old waitress was too scared to tell us there would be a wait. No communication, tables not cleared Really poor experience all round

First impression place was smelly and it got worse by time. I asked to swap some ingredients in my order due allergies and they denied and didn’t give me any options. Waiter attitude was awful and made us feel uncomfortable. We end up leaving, definitely not coming back.

Just brilliant. Staff were super friendly and really efficient. Drinks and food served with perfect timing. Eggs Benedict and wrap were sublime, coffee really nice and orange juice fresh and cold. 5 stars all the way.

Good food, tasty and a pleasant experience on the whole. A little tight with seating but that's nit picking. I had a their large burger with chips, which was very tasty, American style cheese and a solid beef patty. Not a large serving and only a few chips in the side basket, yet a good meal. Bathroom was super clean and obviously tendered to. Will visit again and they take 10% off the bill for Cash!

The people here were SO NICE! Unbelievable service, very attentive! It was super busy but we went at about 11.45am, would suggest booking if youre going around lunch time as many other people had booked and free tables filled fast. Food was high quality and came out fast, it also was a good size.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at this wonderful establishment, and it was nothing short of exceptional. I ate here twice, a week apart. They serve good food & good coffee and are reasonably priced. It was very busy both times I visited. It's apparently a very popular place. Despite it being so busy, I was served promptly both times. The girl on front-of-house is very friendly, helpful and clearly very good at her job. If you're in Shepparton and looking for a tasty honest feed at a reasonable price and/or good coffee, you can't go wrong here.

Found out little expensive but worth going this place, well-organized rooms that create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food especially Salmon and lamb cutlet were delicious and thoughtfully presented, showcasing quality ingredients and great flavors. A solid 4-star spot worth visiting for both ambiance and taste.

Defaulted to this restaurant as we were staying in the accomodation. What a delightful surprise. A generous menu supported by attentive and very friendly wait staff. Pleasantly surprised with the delicious food which was served swiftĺy.

Dined for dinner with a large car club & we also had a number of rooms booked. I ordered the lamb shoulder & french martini cocktail & they were both tasty. Service friendly. Would visit & stay again if in the area.

Good space to fit our party of 8. The staff were working at max capacity - we had more than 45 mins wait for our food after placing our orders. I had the salmon with mash and broccolini, followed by sticky date pudding. Food was good and dessert was great.

Was not impressed with the processed chicken I received after ordering the chicken parmigiana. I now see a previous review was made by someone 3 months ago with the same issue. This shows you do not listen to your customers. Will not be returning.

A girlfriend and I went in for lunch, as soon as I walked in I knew that I was going to love this place, everywhere you looked there was something pretty to look at. The staff were great, very attentive and friendly. I had the Parmesan chicken and it was delicious, probably the best pasta dish I've ever eaten in my life. My friend got the seafood linguine and thoroughly enjoy it. The prices were very reasonable, I'd say even cheap. As we were sitting and chatting we both mentioned how good the dishes looked that were coming out, I'll definitely be back to try other menu items and to show my mum! Thank you!

Busy Italian Cafe. The place was hopping including attentive servers. Loved the Cafe vibe with delicious Italian food. Next time we’ll go back for dessert & coffee!

A Hidden Gem! Little Lipari is an absolute delight! A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it ideal for catching up with friends or simply taking a well-earned break. The food? Out of this world. Every dish was packed with flavour, and the portions were generous — no one’s leaving hungry! You can tell the team takes real pride in what they serve. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Great vibes, exceptional food, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be back. 5 stars all the way!

It’s a great stop and lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Pizza was excellent and Coffee are excellent. Very busy time and lots of seats at rear and back yard garden.

There’s a certain buzz that hits you the moment you walk into this Shepparton café, the kind that tells you locals already know they’re onto something good. Every table inside was full when we arrived, and for a second it felt like we’d missed the boat. But the friendly staff guided us through to the back, where the real magic happens, an open, beautifully designed courtyard fitted out with polished concrete tables, lush greenery and, at its centre, a hanging fire pit that looks like it was lifted from a design magazine. It’s the kind of space built for slow mornings, good coffee and long conversations. We’d slipped in right before the breakfast cutoff, but the team didn’t blink. Our waitress happily took our order, all smiles and calm efficiency. The coffee arrived quickly, smooth, strong and perfectly textured. Lattes done exactly right. Food followed soon after, plated with the sort of care and balance you’d expect from a Melbourne brunch spot rather than a regional café. It’s clear this kitchen knows its craft. What stood out, beyond the food and the fit-out, was the service culture. You could see new staff being paired with more experienced hands, a small thing, but it makes a difference. There’s an ease to the way the team moves, even when the café’s packed. We didn’t have time to stick around for lunch, but the menu has us curious enough to plan a return trip. And if they ever decide to open for Friday night drinks over summer, that courtyard would absolutely sing, the perfect spot for a glass of wine and a few shared plates as the sun goes down. A polished, quietly confident addition to Shepparton’s food scene, and well worth seeking out.

We went to BelCibo & Co for breakfast and were blown away. The food was absolutely faultless – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Coffee was exceptional, easily one of the best we’ve had. Service was warm and attentive. The space is stunning – beautifully designed and decorated. A top-notch experience from start to finish!

Recently moved to a new position, from Benalla Rd to Fryers St. Well worth the move. Beautiful food, great atmosphere & their staff are on the ball with customer service. Fish is fresh & their pizzas are delicious. Fantastic outdoor eating area & we can't wait for the weather to warm up a little more so we enjoy eating under the stars. 18 months later, I can update my review. Still one of Shepparton best restaurants 👌

Had a work event there last week and the service was amazing. Great food, even better drinks, and the coffee in the morning after hit the right spot!

The big breakfast here felt more like a regular breakfast with the option of adding on. In terms of taste, presentation and quality it was magnificent. The crepes were definitely the pick from what we ordered made to perfection. Being early in the morning it was obvious no one was taking care of the bathrooms, they were filthy. Double toilet paper rolls empty, bin overflowing and toilets.... well, unclean!! After good service and lovely meals and this one point rectified, this place is a great visit.

Had a great breakfast here. I ordered the French toast and a flat white, both of which were spot on. The ambiance was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a slow morning or a casual catch-up. Altogether just $29, which felt reasonable for the quality and experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Not only that, but the staff are always so wonderfully warm and welcoming to myself and my dog. The food is top notch and beautifully presented, as well. Would definitely recommend, and have recommended to friends in past.

Coffee and food both very good. I tried the Granola special, which was lovely. My partner had the New York Omelette, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was pleasant and quick.

Even if the food was good, which it wasn't, it was difficult to enjoy the experience due to the huge number of flies constantly annoying you. We spent several hours inside the RSL and didn't see a single fly inside. Cannot understand why there were so many inside the Food Store. Ordered the omelette and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich along with a coffee and OJ. The coffee and OJ came out after 5 mins then there was another 20 mins wait for the food. Had to send back the toastie because it was hardly toasted. Meanwhile the coffee was rather cold by then. When it arrived a second time it certainly wasn't filled with ingredients. A single thin slice of Coles ham and a thin slice of cheese. Disappointing. The omelette was ordinary but the flies were loving it and annoying other patrons also. Buy a big zapper!!

Always a got to in Shepparton! Such an amazing selection of soups!! Totally worth it! One of the aesthetic cafe I have ever seen in Victoria. I am from Melbourne and whenever I visit Shepparton, this is my first choice!

Came here on a work trip up to Shep, definitely glad I went here. My breakfast was excellent, I had a Atlantic eggs Benedict which was delicious. The coffee was very well made (I had oat milk) but I think the beans they use aren’t very good - still ok enough that it didn’t detract from my whole experience here. If you’re in Shepparton looking for breakfast/ brunch this is a must visit.

Am thoroughly loving the coffee at The Foodstore. Yes it's different to what I usually like but I am loving it and highly recommend giving it a go! As a long black drinker, the crema is also great! The food is delicious and the customer service is great! Also, have had friends join me and give The Foodstore another go - and they have fallen back in love with the place again! My husband and I enjoyed a delicious brunch. We were delighted with the efficiency of the staff and how quickly we received our food and drinks. The food was amazing with not a scrap left in our plates. Highly recommend this place for great dining, service and atmosphere.

On a mission to get pancakes for brunch so off we go to Food Store,not a cheap place so we expect good food and service. Waiter was helpful but when she asked how my food was I let her know the pancakes were very dry and not very nice. She took my food (full plate) away and that was it no follow up from management or even an apology. The orange juice from a bottle not greasy was the bed thing. Neither me or my wife ate the food and they knew we weren’t happy. Went to pay with not a mention of the food took my money (waisted $50 for a couple of pancakes) and said see ya Sorry I’m happy to pay a lot of money for good food but when I play top dollar for 2 measly pancakes I expect them to be nice. My 8 yo cooks better pancakes at home. Don’t bother people go somewhere where they care.

Visited The Food Store for lunch on Sunday and ordered the Lamb Ragu off the menu and Chicken and Leek Pie from the specials and both were absolutely delicious. The meat was tender in both dished and lots of flavour. Thank you for a lovely lunch

Quaint Cafe with an obvious amount of care taken to keep it looking nice, decor and above all, clean. I considered giving 5 stars for the Eggs Benny but I was underwhelmed by the serving size for the $21 (to memory) price. Kids pancakes were great and again the attention to detail was good. The service was polite from the softly spoken young man who came to the table and the service from the lady at the paypoint was that of someone who couldn't be less interested in engaging in chat about the meal, experience or other; Definitely not rude but with no one in the Cafe, this experience could be better. Will come back here as the menu is accommodating and the quality is good, small improvements could improve patronage.

The atmosphere is great, the staff are welcoming and seem genuinely happy. Very clean and tidy. The food is amazing and anything in the menu can be made gluten free (coeliac safe!), I had the gluten free meal and they even go so far as to have separate utensils for the gluten free meals. The coffee is great also. Highly recommend 10/10!

The service staff are lovely and attentive. The food is a mix of good and very good. The homemade sausage roll was good, as was the ham and cheese croissant, the slow cooked pork bennie was very good and would be my recommendation. Obie (dog) loved his puppy chino and the milkshakes were very good. Food was a bit slow coming but was v busy, given was one of the few places open on Easter Sunday. Good brunch place with lovely staff.

We sat out the front of this cafe. Home made sausage rolls were really delicious. Iced chocolate was standard but good. Iced coffee the same. Sourdough toast and jam was very simple but actually really yum! Sitting outside meant we could watch the comings and goings of the street. They are very dog friendly with bowls of dog water available. Good for a cafe if you are in Shepparton.

Sat down for first time at venue for feed with my partner. Ordered cappuccinos, got lattes, we said it's ok don't worry and accepted them we also had ordered big breakfast and the brucetta breakfast with bacon added, the meals came out looking pretty good, then when I noticed there was no bacon I politely asked if I could have the bacon I ordered. They said take your meal and we will bring your bacon on another plate. Was I ment to wait, with my meal chilling while I wait . Ok so I'll did, then when the plate with bacon came out it looked like it has been microwaved. This made me turn off my meal as the bacon was slimmy as undercooked. We paid over $60 for this. Won't be back, I do not recommend this venue at this time.

Walked in at 10am. Was seated inside and ordered food about 5 minutes later. Cappuccino came about 20 minutes later, meal 15 minutes after. No knives/ forks and napkins given to us. I had to go find them myself. Forgotten chocolate frappe, came out just as my child was finishing his meal. No 'sorry about delay', just slapped on the table and the guy took off. Otherwise food was delicious so I'll give thumbs up to the chef that seemed to be working out the back all on his lonesome while 6 staff were out the front, 2 staff only keeping a eye on tables. Most tables were left dirty by time leaving. After paying for meal to a girl that looked less than impressed for me asking for a receipt, I noticed customers had come and were cleaning the tables off themselves so that they could sit down. Both son and I have decided to not go back for the time being. Looks like delegation of tasks, time management and teamwork need to be brushed up on.

Stopped in to have a coffee and a catch-up with a friend. Got our first coffee and chatted for about an hour and then decided to have another coffee. Got our 2nd coffee, and then it was closing. Staff started putting tables and chairs away. Moving all the ones around us. Did not fill welcome any more and very uncomfortable. So we picked up our coffees and moved. If they told us they were closing when we got out last coffee! We could have got it in a takeaway cup. And sat in a different spot.

Very disappointed with the overall service. Ordered our breakfast & asked for our coffee after our meal. Coffee came first. Ordered bacon, but they forgot it. Had to ask for our coffee 4 times. 20 minutes later it finally arrived. Spoke to the person in charge to complain but he wasn't interested

Amazing customer service. One of the few restaurants that caters to my families food intolerances. Staff are alway polite. Food is brilliant.

A quick breakfast here of bacon & poached eggs, and ham & cheese omelette. Both done & presented very nicely. Even with butter on the toast that not everyone does anymore. Lovely coffee. Quick service. Toilet facilities.

Great food, great service. Excellent interior, really cosy place with rustic decorations. Also very clean. You can buy additional things like chai and coffee blends, and they also have books inside to read. I ordered a hot chocolate with a yoyo.

have had so many people say we should go and try the food and finally gave in and said why not. The iced coffee was really nice could easily drink 2 or more without hesitation. The food was not all that the hype had made out it wasn't horrible by any means but my biggest disappointment was the chilli beans had no hints of chilli whatsoever so that was a little disappointing.

I don’t mind your busy and letting me know you are. But when asked to clean the table. It would be appreciated if it was done as we ask. I don’t like to sit in filth next to me on the table. The whole time I’m there on a Saturday morning eating breakfast. I got up and left and it was still there.

Was fine Nice ambience in front road side. Parma was tiny bit dry but wasn't crumbed which was nice change. The mushrooms were fine. Bread could have been more artisanal. Poached eggs fine, bacon was a bit sad on its own. Chai was also good not too sweet

Ordered McDonald’s for my daughter’s birthday only to be disappointed when arriving home, No chips! No credit for the missing food just a classic stitch up. I’m now cooking up my own chips. Ah McCain you’ve done it again!

The best MacDonalds breakfast i have ever had bacon and egg and my partners sausage and egg was cooked perfectly and the vanilla latta was the perfect blend. The best crunchy hash brown. Thanks! Great start to our weekend away! 👊

AVOID. The customer service was disgusting. My sister and I ordered two drinks and were treated with extreme disrespect for no reason at all. All staff members from the girl taking our order that was in a bad mood for no reason, to the girl giving us our drinks and all of the other workers in the back who were giving us dirty looks and even talking to a girl at the counter who raised her fist at us because of something that was obviously said by the first worker. We are extremely upset and shocked by this experience and don’t want it to happen to anyone else AVOID. All of this happened over absolutely nothing and in any circumstances we didn’t deserve to get treated with such disrespect by workers. Even after this experience we said have a nice day and we were given the same disgusting treatment.

This has to be one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. I went to McDonald’s South Shepparton and very clearly asked for no pickles on my burger. Not only did my burger arrive full of pickles, it wasn’t even the burger I ordered in the first place. I double-checked my receipt to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake — the order on the screen was correct, the food in the bag was not. It’s such a simple request to get right. You don’t need special training to leave pickles off a burger or to hand someone the correct order. Yet somehow, both of those basic things were wrong. By the time I noticed, I was already away from the store, so I couldn’t even get it fixed without turning around and wasting more time. This isn’t just a one-off slip-up either. It’s become increasingly common at this location for orders to be wrong, cold, or missing items. There doesn’t seem to be any urgency, attention to detail, or care about what customers are paying for. When you pay for food you can’t eat because instructions aren’t followed, it stops being an occasional mistake and starts feeling like a lack of standards. If management here actually wants people to keep coming back, they need to address this. Double-check the orders. Train the staff properly. Take some pride in what’s being handed to customers. Otherwise, people like me — who used to come regularly — will just stop coming altogether. Right now, I’m seriously considering never coming back to this store again.

Paid via ap, and they said it's pending, tried to get me to pay again, I showed them reciept and it came out of my bank, they refused to give me order!!! This happens all the time at this maccas they charge you twice, and you get no apology or refund, they say it automatically goes back into account, it never does. Appalling treatment by all staff at drive thru, and repeatedly ignored my reciept!!! So I paid for lunch that they refused to give me...again!!

The night manager on shift at 2:00 am roughly on Friday the 6th of September, we had been there for ages waiting for the machines to boot back up but they hadn't we waiting there for roughly 3 hours, during this time the manager was in contact with the support team who were meant to reset and fix the the register but they were unable to do so all they did was start and restart it, in the end we had gotten what we wanted and he said we could pay for it next time we were there and it was working, in which is the time I'm writing this review at he was understanding, respectful, as well as kind he had shown exactly what workers who work the customer front should be like in my opinion he would interact and chat with us every now and then to ensure we good so overall every time I come here around the same time whether the machines work or not he has always been nice and respectful aswell as patient he's made me enjoy coming

If you'd like to pay for the worst customer service in australia, this is the store for you. They won't look at you, let alone speak or thank you when you hand your money over and they won't look at you or thank you when they have over your food. An absolute disgrace. Then, you'll open the bag to food not wrapped properly and cold chips. Really tasty acai bowl and I've heard the coffee is also very good. Friendly service at the clunter. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars - it seems like you can't sit inside to dine. There's some options for stand-up dining outside.

The barista' has an appalling attitude and has been rude on multiple occasions . Today he got humbled by one of his potential customers. Sadly he still couldn't see past it. Any wonder he has the smallest percentage of the friars street market. However I do wish him all the best.

Attention coffee snobs (like me): Pablo coffee is next level. Better than a lot of stuff in Melbourne and Sydney. Scott properly knows his stuff and takes great care in his coffee (daily blend combinations, remembering your order, precision and process). Hands down best coffee in Shep and a highlight to every visit.

Extremely terrible service, waited 20 minutes for 3 tenders and chips. I completely understand that is was busy but not a single apology was given by the women handing out orders for the wait to any customers in the store. I’ve worked in fast food and I don’t understand why they weren’t preparing and handing out smaller orders like a single chips whilst waiting for the burgers and stuff for the larger orders lol. The burger my friend got tasted burnt and like cardboard. Lift your game.

If? they get your order correct, you will get a burger that is very very small with nothing much in it. You will then tell yourself next time l want a burger l will go to a real burger place & get a big fat juicy 😋 BURGER. pics are of there new jacks chicken burger with coleslaw & if you want tomato you have to pay .50's extra for. I did and got a humongous one slice of tomato. This burger tasted like cardboard. The slaw is hard to find, but tastes like it was found in a dumpster. HG go back in time to when you made great burgers.

First time in years to have a burger. It was fresh tasty and not squashed flat like some other fast food places. I really enjoyed it. Shop was dirty around tables and floors which nearly made me walk out as soon as entering. Toilets were disgusting.

Honestly I love this place, every time we come we wait between 20-40 minutes in the drive through which gives me time to catch up on my emails and the news, while the kids complain about being hungry. Today it gives me the time to write this review because I'm here again and so over it. They have a new screen, so now we can see our order, hopefully they don't get this one wrong because I've told the kids this is the last time we're coming here. Unfortunate because they love the food, when it's right, and when it's available. I mean how can they run out of mayo, buns or certain drinks? Over 2 years with the same reviews you think the owner would make sufficient changes to make this better 🤷🏻

I was on my half hour break and went to eat food here. Ordered straight away then proceeded to wait 10 minutes for half of my order and then another 10 for my oreo storm which was half empty

It’s fast food so you don’t expect to wait 5 minutes for a soft serve especially in the drive thru… got to the window and paid and the staff were yelling at each other and swearing too - not to mention the lack of hygiene. Witnessed someone who was obviously very new to HJ’s get yelled at by another staff member and cry. Am not impressed in the slightest, would give 0 if I could.

Our coffee was very good, and served just how we requested - nuclear hot! Thank you. The poached eggs on sourdough were a treat. But probably the best thing was the lovely waitress!

From out of town and popped in for a takeaway. I was greeted nearly instantly and the whole team were super friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. First impressions count and I was very impressed. Great coffee too by the way!

We were at the vicinity and walked into the cafe for lunch. It was bustling and now we know why. Food was very good! All 4 of us enjoyed our lunch - even when we had to eat in the car en-route to our destination :) I had the vegetarian risotto with sun-dried tomato, pumpkin, chicken and oh my… it was the best risotto I’ve ever had!

Absolutely disgusted with their food quality service!! Got uber eats from Mooroopna McDonald’s, I ordered a brekky wrap n knew somethin wasn’t right when I started to eat it so I checked it n there was mould on the eggg!!!! 🤢

Just after 9:30am, lovely service from the first window, hash browns were up there with the best - my issue is the abuse of the holding bay. I know McDonald’s (I think this is the case) get rewarded for their time in the drive-thru keeping it below a certain time but the holding bay is fudging the figures. Don’t put me in the holding bay to say it’ll be there in 2mins - how about work on your timings #BoycottTheHoldingBay

I usually love my McDonald's, but after my experience with Seth Hutchison, I’m never stepping foot in this location again. The moment I pulled up to the drive-thru, I felt something was off. Seth, who was working the window, seemed to have a bit of an attitude. I asked for extra ketchup, and he gave me the dirtiest look like I’d just insulted his mother. I tried to brush it off, thinking it was just a rough day, but then it all went downhill when I went to park and eat. Suddenly, Seth appeared out of nowhere, like he had just McSensed my presence, and started yelling about how I had "disrespected the McDonald's sanctity" by requesting too many sauces. He was McMad. Honestly, I didn't even know they could get this angry about ketchup. Before I could react, Seth stormed out of the restaurant and literally chased me into the parking lot, shouting, “You want extra ketchup? I’ll give you something extra!” I tried to explain it was just a simple request, but nope—he was ready to throw hands. I don’t know if this is some sort of new McDonald's training program, but I was honestly shook when he took a swing at me right by the curb. A full-on McBeatdown. I haven’t been so terrified since I watched the movie "The Founder." This location’s food? Always great. But Seth Hutchison? Straight-up terrifying. If you see him behind the counter, maybe just skip the ketchup—your safety might depend on it. 1 star for the food. Minus 4 stars for Seth. Do better, McDonald's.

Do not eat here after 7pm. Staff have absolutely no idea what they're doing and the food is old and disgusting, slapped together with no care and hot drinks are just hot milk. Which sucks coz they ain't half bad during the day. Do better

The baristas are very hit and miss. Sometimes decent coffee, sometimes lacking flavor, sometimes receive someone else's coffee (or maybe just not concentrating) which is not good when you receive almond milk but you have a nut allergy.

Order 24 nuggets one night after work. Got asked to park where I sat there for 15 minutes and watched approx 20 vehicles get served and leave the drive thru after me. Asked for my order and mentioned I’d been in park for 15 minutes and the manager snapped at me saying “we’re slammed” tossing me my order which had been sitting in the prep area. Suffice it to say the nuggets were stone cold, hard and inedible. If I decide to spend anymore money at this store, I won’t be parking.

Being in Shepparton on business, I had a faint memory that somewhere in Shep held the Best Vanilla Slice award....multiple times. Thank goodness my memory served me right. A quick google search had me here in a jiffy. And I can confirm, it certainly doesn't disappoint. Having purchased a Lamb and Rosemary pie, along with a sausage roll (didn't need it but had to try it, looked too good not to) and of course had to top it off with the award winning snot block. Oh. My. God. All 3 were absolutely delicious. As you can see in the pics, the snot block doesn't disintegrate when you eat it. Cannot fault this place,hidden in an industrial estate. A must visit when in town 100%. Pie 10/10. Sausage roll 10/10. Snot block 10/10.

Jun 2025 On another road trip through Vic we had to stop by North End Bakery for their delicious pies and vanilla slice. This time we were prepared with an off grid set up for freezing our beloved vanilla slice to take home to Brisbane. We tried the Bushmans pie which was absolutely delicious. It contained beef mince, bacon, egg and cheese. We also had the mushroom pie, which was my favourite. It was creamy without being too heavy. Nice chunks of beef with mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Lastly we bought three four packs of vanilla slice. These are a MUST try! Photographed is my pup giving his tick of approval. The staff were friendly and happy for a chat. North End really is a must visit if you are in the area, so much so that we took our time travelling through nsw just so we could be in Shepparton on a weekday when the bakery is open. Sep 2023 We popped into this quaint little bakery on our way through Shepparton on our journey towards The Great Ocean Road. We ordered a sausage roll, plain meat pie, bacon and egg pie, caramilk slice, caramel brownie, and of course the award-winning vanilla slice. The sausage roll pastry was flaky and the filling was delicious. One of the best I have had. The meat pie was very flavourful and I loved the thin pastry casing. The bacon and egg pie was my favourite savoury item of the three. It had a smoky barbeque-like flavour and was very enjoyable. The caramel slice was not too sweet and had a nice biscuit base. The caramel brownie was fudge-like and had a lovely caramel filling. If you like caramel this one is a must. It's not too sweet and I loved it. The vanilla slice was my favourite sweet item. The icing was not too sweet, the pastry was lovely and flaky. The highlight is the custard filling, it was light and had a whipped texture. It was so delicious I purchased two, four-packs to gift to friends in Melbourne. The sweet items are individually glad wrapped, I found this small detail to be a lovely touch. Made everything easier to eat and mess free. What stood out the most was the warm service and friendly smiles I was greeted with. This bakery is a must-visit if you are in the Shepparton area.

We visited here just after they won the Vanilla slice competition. The food and slice was delicious. Unfortunately, it has really slipped down. I had the pastie, it was doughy and tasteless. The Vanilla slice I only ate a 1/3 as it was not up to the original we had there. Others on the market are much tastier. Very disappointing and will never return.

We made a detour on our way to Gippsland from Sydney specifically to come to North End. Did not disappoint at all. Bushman's pie was delicious and I can taste why they have been awarded Australia's Best Vanilla Slice. Gonna have to come back at Easter by the looks of things!

Very attentive staffs. We arrived at around 11.30am and the cafe was full of patrons, we didn’t book a table so hubby asking the front counter staff whether there are table available for 5. The waiter was very attentive, very friendly and helpful. He let us have a table that is booked for later time. We make sure we order our food and finished before 12.30 mark. The food there was absolutely delicious, we order a big breakfast, fish and chips, eggs on toast, hot chocolate and a latte. Delicious big breakfast, fish and chips, & eggs on toast. We were very lucky to be there early. Definitely will visit again. Thank you.

I drove an hour from Bendigo to visit this café, located conveniently next to the apple chocolate factory. The café is clean, well-maintained, and appears to have been recently renovated. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience. I ordered an iced café latte, and the taste was incredible. Enjoying it while taking a break at the café made for a delightful experience. I also purchased a 1kg bag of coffee beans for 52 AUD and am excited to try them out on my espresso machine at home.

Made a pitstop for brekky. Well worth the little sidetrek. Had the Maple waffles with compote, was absolutely delicious. Dad has eggs on toast with bacon. Was fresh and delicious. The wait time was less than 10 mins. Set it a quiet little area, which would get crazy in the holidays. Service was impeccable.

Initially a bit unsure about this place, thought people only go because there’s not much other choice in the area, glad we ended up going. Greeted by very friendly staff, all of them had very good energy (that we wish our local cafe would have). I got the steak don, really worth it, filled me up till dinner, very tasty tender steak in combination with well balanced flavors. Recommend to other tourists who are looking for places to eat.

Pork Benny breakfast had a disgusting flavour in the pork, possibly coriander?? A very strong flavour like this should be disclosed on the menu as an ingredient as you either love it or hate it. Couldn't eat it, waste of money. Yuk. Hot chocolate was weak. Service was fine and outdoor dining nice except all available tables had old dishes on. Hash brown lovely.

We placed an order for four small sandwiches for pickup. We were informed that the order would be ready in approximately 25-30 minutes. We departed and returned within that timeframe. Upon our arrival, we decided to dine in. However, we encountered an issue with the food. The sandwiches were adhered to the paper wrapper and were served cold. I engaged in a conversation with the manager, expressing my dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, he merely apologized repeatedly without offering any resolution. I requested that he prepare fresh sandwiches, but he declined, stating that there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation. This incident marks our first and final visit to this establishment. I intend to share my experience with others to ensure that they are aware of the subpar service and food quality.

Friendly and honest service, actually a standout, the staff are extremely helpful and obliging. The fish is great value, will try the calamari next time. The food on the Bain Marie is pretty good as well. Consider this a stop on the way north or south now. Will be back to try more menu items.

Taste of Capri is amazing! Had a function there for dinner and staff were so obliging and couldn’t be more helpful. Nothing was to hard. The food was delicious and they catered for everyone with many different options to choose from. All the guest had a great time and we were all very impressed with from the organizing, the venue, to the food , to the fantastic friendly service. Definitely 10/10 😁

Very disappointed with my experience today. I went in with my son, and he picked up a wrapped banana bread from the display. I was immediately asked to pay for it form a young man at the counter and was told it was for “safety reasons.” However, there were three boards of uncovered sweets sitting openly on the counter — which is extremely unhygienic, as anyone could sneeze or cough near them. If food safety is truly a concern, displayed items should be placed behind glass to avoid contamination. This kind of inconsistency doesn’t inspire much confidence in the café’s standards.

Impressed by the service at Milk Bar – friendly, fast and genuinely attentive, even on a busy long weekend. The team was on point and had clearly planned well for the holiday crowd. Big kudos for keeping their social media updated so I knew they were open – simple, but so helpful. Great vibe and relaxed. Just stopped in here for coffee on our way through Shepparton. Best coffee, both in taste and texture. Lovely calm atmosphere with inside and outside dining. Lots of space. Staff very friendly and smiley. There are two parking spots reserved for caravan parking on Fitzsimmons St. just near the information centre/SAM. Highly recommend a stop here. There is the art museum and information and cafe all in the same building. All staff we met on the way through to the cafe were very welcoming and friendly.

drinks were super yummy and curly fries had good portion and their garlic aioli was to DIE FOR!!! the staff were SO FRIENDLY and sweet the customer service was sooo amazing i loved it here came here a second time and had the same great experience! the staff were again so friendly and i liked seeing how their menu changes to adapt to fresh ingredients :)

I had a very nice and amazing experience for dinning there. The best beer butter fish and chips I ever had apart from cucumber 🥒 salad. It was fine 👍 however if added a bit more flavour into salad dressing it would be delicious 😋. Blackberry Iced matcha drink was very nice. Service was lovely and wonderful. Lovely lady waitress had a very friendly service and amazing attitude. She made sure I was welcoming. So thanks 🙏 so much for your beautiful service at Elsewhere at SAM. We were meant to come here to meet with some friends but they had to cancel last minute but we decided to check this place out before driving back to melbourne. We were unsure how to get into the cafe and walked along the river bank and ended having to walk up the steps. Better access is through the art gallery front foyer. I ordered the breakfast board which was $34 and though it was expensive it is cheaper than getting eggs and toast and adding a couple of extras, which my husband did. Every element was cooked well and it was a large serve with me having to share with my husband. (He loved that!!) The view from our table looking out over the lake is spectacular and is very restful and peaceful.

Cafe a Roma was the only cafe open on the Grand Final eve public holiday so was busy. It was still a good place to stop for a driving break. The cinnamon drop was a pleasant surprise; very nice. Coffee is good too.

My wife and I usually have breakfast out every few weeks and today we drove to Tatura to check out Cafe a Roma. I ordered a Latte and we both had the Eggs Benedict. The coffee was great, top marks. The eggs were quite hard, not soft poached eggs as we are used to. Prices were fair but unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the meal.

I will start with the positive, that the staff were friendly and got coffee and breakfast out quickly. But I do have some concerns about there interpretation of Eggs Benedict. I ordered Eggs Benedict on Sourdough - it needs some improvement. The sourdough was just bread if it was sourdough it was not great quality. There was some ham slapped on the bread looked like straight out of the bag. Eggs were poached and cooked well but were slapped on top and then the entire plate was covered in what must have been a squeeze bottle Dijon mustard, so much Dijon! Benedict usually goes- sourdough, cooked spinach, lightly cooked ham, poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. You could add a little Dijon to the side to mix it up. But what I got was not really Eggs Benedict. More like 2 poached eggs on toast subbing bacon for deli ham with a lot of Dijon. My Italian mother in law would have had things to say. Presentation of the food was not great, was probably the lowest quality eggs bene I have ever had.

I had a beautiful breakfast here this morning. Coffee is excellent, friendly service, lovely atmosphere, clean and most importantly the food was delicious! Highly recommend the smashed avo and feta!! 🥑 💛 Also grabbed a takeaway coffee which is served in these beautiful cups. 😍

Oh my god.... the coffee was perfect. Mild. Not bitter... thats what you want... it was so good I did not need to add sugar, and Im one of those who has a cuppa with two.. thats why it got five stars. The staff, really nice and helpful. Located on the eastern side of the building - woolies supermarket end - its crowded, as most malls are. Parking.. easy access off the Midland Highway. Not many shady spots, but lots of disabled parking near the east entrance. Wheelchair access is easy. Every shop in the mall is wheelie friendly.

Ordered two toasted sandwiches one ham and cheese one ham, cheese and tomato; both were dry as a weet-bix and lacked any flavour. The coffee was burnt and bitter and to top off it was delivered to the table with a SNARL.

Average. Coffee is ok, tosties ok but they won't make one to order. The main reason for a low score is because they always run out of muffins (your left with the ones no one else wants).

I love the food here in Cafe on Nixon beautiful and tasty. The coffee is to die for and the girls Maxine and Leanne are are always happy good place for breakfast lunch or just a cuppa. Will always call in there.

Everything was average here. There were no other customers in the 2 hour time frame we were there on a Saturday brunch period... We now no why. All staff were on their phones behind the bar and the toilets were well below average. 3 out of 4 had no toilet paper and other aspects were just gross. Makes me wonder what other cleaning duties are being neglected here....

Great friendly customer service, awesome meals. We ordered a double stack burger and chicken snitzel could not finish either meal and certainly not over priced for the quantity of food, definitely going back for another meal.

After a weekend away camping I came in half starved after a full breaky of my own I finished off the 2 others I attended with some pancakes and waffles. I walked out very full. Staff were fantastic, polite and very inviting. Thanks guys we will be back.

Good food and great location. Can highly recommend the the loaded fries for a great feed that will hit the spot. The desert looked great but I was to full to fit any in. But will be definitely returning to try some in the future.

Was drawn in by the good reviews. Unfortunately food was quite poor. Bacon dry and burnt, scrambled eggs were very dark and had no seasoning. Also served almost cold. Loaded Fries were average. Topping was very wet so the fries became instantly mushy. Flavour was also quite minimal. Service slow considering only three tables occupied. Staff were very transactional with no pleasantries to offer.

Visited twice now for a weekend breakfast with the family, the food has been really good, decent range of breakfast options and won't leave you feeling hungry. Staff were great interacting with the kids, neat little place for a breakfast outing
