Quirky decor abounds. Busy cafe with plenty of staff, great reviews. Kai coffee is good. Eggs Benny with salmon was ok. The scant hollandaise had an unusual flavour that reminded me of off oil. The salmon was relatively tasteless. The two pieces of white, soft characterless bread were disappointing. The bacon was tasty. Prices are up there considering the lack of anything special. Would I come back, no.

One of the things I liked most was the personal and friendly service. You can tell that the staff make an effort to ensure a positive experience for every customer. The place is so nice, the back yard dog friendly is big and perfect spot for a coffee and breakfast. The variety available is enough to adapt to different tastes and they do daily fresh home made cookiessss, really worth getting one!! This is a place I would happily return to, very close to Mooloolaba main area.

I tried the Eggs Benedict with caramelised pumpkin and toasted ciabatta, and it was a really enjoyable dish. The sweetness of the pumpkin added a nice touch that worked well with the hollandaise and poached eggs. The ciabatta was well toasted — crisp on the outside and soft inside, giving a good texture to the meal. The presentation was neat, and the portion size felt just right — satisfying without being too heavy. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the twist with caramelised pumpkin made it a bit different from the usual Eggs Benedict. Paired with a good coffee, it made for a lovely, relaxed Sunshine Coast brunch.

What a great little neighborhood spot for a coffee! We stopped in for an iced coffee and milkshake in between running errands. Will absolutely be back! One of the better coffees I've had lately and cute decor.

Velo has indoor and outdoor seating at the back. It was a hot sunny morning and a portion of our table was in the sun which made it quite uncomfortable. I ordered the avo smash, I loved the pops of corn in it. The bread was also delectable and soft. I felt like the portion was very small for the price and everyone at our table felt the same about their meals too. The iced latte was great. Food and drinks came out quickly. Overall, a nice but expensive breakfast option

We visited velo after 9am on a Thursday morning. It was not busy and not quiet, lovely in other words. We enjoyed the food, we got breakfast rolls, on K-pop style bagel one bacon and egg both with their own velo project spin. The flavours worked, the portion was great for me, the food looked good, the prices were pretty standard for fresh food made on site. I like it!

Excellent breakfast & coffee! Very very little to fault here, the eggs Benny really delivered and the Chickpea croquettes were amazing. If all you wanted was a great coffee - you won’t be disappointed! Definitely deserves the 5 star ratings

I had a wonderful experience at this cafe! The staff were incredibly friendly and polite throughout my visit, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. The Milk Bar Coffee Co is the perfect place to grab a drink and nibble to eat with your friend!! I’m so in love with their matcha!! The best I’ve had in my life and I’m a big matcha drinker!! The owner and staff are so sweet! Definitely the best customer service I have come across in a long time. My friend and I love visiting here and I will definitely be returning the next time I visit the sunny coast! 5 stars, 11/10 for these guys!! Definitely a must visit when you’re on the coast!

Had an unfortunate encounter here this morning. Service was lovely atmosphere lovely. Iced chocolate $7 fair price, however 2cm from the top of the cup was filled with ice. Watery and milky tasting drink that wouldn't have been half a cup full of milk at best, minimal flavouring. Is there supposed to be cream ? Ice cream? Very disappointing..

We went to have breakfast in here. It was really good coffee and breakfast, also the almond & chocolate croissant was yummy. The owner was very friendly. It was our first time to come here but we will definitely come back again. I would recommend you guys to come here and support local cafe.

The owner is a legend, and the staff members are also a legend. I couldn't complain as they serve the best breakfast and lunch with decorations, in my opinion. I recommend everyone to try out this place.

Large serving at a very good price point. Always walked across the river into the mall after a meal to enjoy the calm sunsets and ambience.

The kids’ playground at Maroochy RSL is pretty good and definitely a big plus for families. It keeps the little ones entertained while you can relax, which makes it a great spot for an easy night out. For an RSL, it does the job well — clean, family-friendly, and welcoming. As for the food, it’s about what you’d expect from most RSLs — decent meals at fair prices, nothing over the top, but still enjoyable. It’s the kind of place you go for a casual dinner where you know exactly what you’re going to get. Overall, a solid four-star experience, mainly thanks to the playground and family-friendly setup.

A nice dinner out. Food was good. Service was ok. Had to ask twice for our drinks, as we ordered off the app. Wasn't super busy in the dining room. Function room up stairs seemed busy.

Great place for a quick stop. Beautifully made coffee, polite and attentive wait staff and wait time very reasonable. Ordered a serve of bruschetta which was amazing, fresh ingredients served on lightly toasted Turkish bread drizzled with a dash of oil and balsamic vinegar however my only criticism would be the $21 for the price of the dish which in my opinion was a little bit on the pricey side considering the aray of options for restaurants and cafes you have along the Esplanade. In saying that still very happy and would definitely come back again. Close to the beach and plenty of seating also

Do not recommend!! Ordered 2 coffees, pork belly bao buns and the steak sandwich. (Cost $63) The coffees were ok but the food was terrible. Had one bite of the steak sandwich and could taste the cheap, touch and dry thin peice of stewed meat, sauce was yuck but bread was ok, was the worse steak sandwich I have ever had. The bao buns came out without the coleslaw so had to send it back, took them almost 10 minutes to add the coleslaw which did not help, it taste like an old peice of pork belly that had dried out with soggy crackle. Chips were good that came with the steak sandwich. Paid via the table barcode when i ordered which was good. We Left 90% of the food on the plate and walked out, very disappointed. I would not recommend this place and will not be back.

We ordered a $16 ham and cheese croissant. When it came out it it was cold in the centre and obviously been microwaved. For that price I would expect it to at least be pressed. When we handed it back (after having a bite and realising), they brought back the same one but actually pressed this time. The server walked past and put it on the table rudely. Extremely disapointing meal and service.

This is a regular for us, but today was not the usual experience. No staff came to table as they usually do. No water , menus etc. Went to counter to order, drinks first no issues, breakfast came shortly after with no cutlery or water still , missing one breakfast , staff said he would bring it right away with cutlery, bought cutlery but not missing breakfast. After 5 mins I went back up to counter and said we were still missing a breakfast, 10 mins passed we were all finished still no missing breakfast, went back to counter and got a refund. Not our usual experience there but I am sure owner would like to know they dropped the ball today.

Coffee was lukewarm at best. It seemed they were getting ready to close as they were taking all the salt & pepper shakers off the tables. We would have been happy for coffee at a decent temperature in takeaway cups rather than the barely warm coffees we received. Staff were friendly but we were very disappointed that they felt barely warm coffee was acceptable to serve.

Great location, friendly staff, great looking food, a little on the expensive side perhaps but the quality of the food was a little hit and miss. The breakfast burger I had was great, but those that had the pancakes weren't as happy. They were a little dry and had a stale taste to them. Would definitely consider giving them another try when we're in the area again.

Wait staff are attentive and friendly. Food is reasonably priced with most menu items being healthy versions of brekkie classics. That said, the food is delicious and I've been there several times. Pictured is the Chorizo with Croquettes, Bacon Benedict on Sourdough, and the Vege Mexican Beans.

Really nice little Cafe in Alex. Very reasonably priced and delicious food. Fantastic service from very friendly staff with tableside service. Food was delicious i had the Croque Madam which was faultless, the fruit salad looked amazing and my son loved it and my partner had poached eggs on toast which were perfectly cooked. The coffee was also delicious. Definitely worth stopping in after a quick dip in the ocean.

The cranola was horrible. there was no actual Granola in it just a tiny bit of flakes with a bit of mixed fruit. All the other meals were very small, not worth their price. The waitress didn't care that I was not happy. I will not be recommending this Cafe to my friends.

Wonderful little cafe with the most amazing food. We had an amazing lunch and 2 days of FANTASTIC breakfast there whilst on holiday. I would recommend Elliots to anyone looking for great value for money and DELICIOUS meals. If we are ever back that way we will definitely be back. Staff were wonderful also

On Friday 8th of August 2025 my husband and I popped in for a coffee. From the moment we approached I noticed the young girl with the tattoos creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, greeting what I can only assume were regular customers by name as they passed and calling out cheerful good mornings that made the place feel like home. We were served by the Canadian girl and her service was wonderfully personal and kind. I went inside to personally thank them for such wonderful service and saw the whole team working together in the kitchen, full of laughter, smiles and genuine good humour. It is rare these days to see a workplace with such camaraderie. The coffee was absolutely delicious, the café itself was charming and the people made it even lovelier. We were on holidays and checked out this place out. Our breakfast was delicious, well seasoned with a generous serve. Service was great, friendly and welcoming. Place has changed. Salt and Pepper Calamari used to be tasty. Now, it's over-cooked and the awful fat soaked coating is virtually inedible. Perhaps the cook would like to taste his wares?

My steak sandwich was so well priced and for sure the tastiest one I've ever had! Their $15 lunch menu is also a winner, the cheapest lunch meals around, plenty on the plate! Thanks guys!! Im a local too and have repeatedly gone here with the same results 😊 Kudos to your great staff also!!

Three of us dined in for lunch. Food is very affordable but lacks quality. Pork belly didn’t have one bit of crunch, all soft and fatty. Calamari was over cooked and looked like the oil may have been overused and needed changing. I had to go to the counter to confirm choices for a kids meal that should have been asked when ordering. Speak of, the lady was more interested in have a conversation with a co worker than focusing on taking my order. Unfortunately won’t be back. Plenty of other quality options not far away

I love that she remembers my orders every time, which makes me feel like a valued customer. She’s a very hard worker who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after and every need is taken care of. Ashleigh truly makes the atmosphere even better, and it’s clear how much effort she puts in for both customers and the team. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Great little beach side restaurant. Fish tacos were good, if like them spicy ask for some hot sauce. My wife had a poke bowl, which was good, although she said they could have added more of the other ingredients and less rice.

Came in for lunch after a surf and it was just perfect. We had the cauliflower salad with tofu plus the beef and chicken burgers — all super tasty, honestly some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Huge compliments to the chefs for such a great meal! The coffee was spot on and the staff were really friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.🤙🏾

Caught up with friends for brunch. Honest and generous food servings. I had the corn fritters which were generous, but a tad doughy. The highlight was the generous size of the meals and how relatively cheap there were. It was a very affordable eating out experience. The space is a bit cramped but still comfortable. Lovely open vista of the park across the road. It’s on a busy intersection with quite a few buses passing the venue. Overall, quite good.

I just wanted to share some feedback from our visit today. We’re up on holidays and have been to your restaurant four times now—we even booked again today because we’ve really enjoyed our meals in the past. However, today we were quite disappointed. Three of us ordered the salt and pepper calamari, which we had loved earlier in the week, but this time each plate only came with around four pieces. We actually thought there must have been an error, as the servings were much more generous on our previous visits. We had been raving about the food and were really looking forward to lunch, so it was a bit of a let-down this time. Just wanted to pass this on as we do enjoy dining with you and hope it was just a one-off.

First time in the coast. Loved the bacon benny, thw fritts, and the biscoff cheesecake. Food was quick amd the staff was very friendly. Will come bacl for sure! Thanks for having us!

Thought my wife and I would try Melody’s licensed cafe for breakfast. My wife had the Frits, where she really enjoyed it. I had the Carnivore, it was ok. Soft poached eggs were a little undercooked. I also had the Breakfast Shake. I really enjoyed this, very much tasty. Wife had tea and I had my usual skinny latte. The service was really good! Friendly, helpful and welcoming. We met some friends for a coffee this morning. We had a wonderful, warm greeting by Kiefie. We didn’t eat there, however we had a drink each. Coffee for my son and I had the tropical smoothie. I don't often write positive reviews about restaurants but have been meaning to praise Melody's for some time now. We have been coming to eat lunch every now and then for the past six months or so and what stands out about Melody's is the attitude of the staff. The ladies we have been served by have been mature ladies which one doesn't often see in restaurants today and wow have they shone'! Friendly, bubbly and helpful - five stars gals! The food is also really good and value for money. Have to confess that both my husband and I only eat the same thing each time we come as it is that good - veggie sandwich and the burger - so can't comment on the rest of the food. Well done Melody's for your service, value and good quality food.

Had a great time at the Nines today having an awesome brunch. We decided on a special of the day, the Mac Daddy which was amazingly good. It was enough to share between two, and good value if you did. Iced matcha and coffee was on point. Vibe was chill but in a quality way. It was nice to not have the music pumping and baristas singing along.

I dont usually write reviews but the dude behind the counter was a proper weapon. Came in yesterday and got a big breakfast with a list of changes I wanted made, no problems. Super lovely guy, coffee was great even if it took a little bit of time to get to the table. Food was bloody delicious and the serving was huge which I was hoping for with the price point.

This place is a little on the expensive side however, it ticks all the boxes for a great overall experience. Food, service and atmosphere are impeccable. Serving sizes on dishes are huge... It does get busy on the weekends however, I enjoy a week day as there is always plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. Gluten free options available... and coffee is always consistently good!

Stopped in for a Saturday brunch and sat outside under the awning. They have table service and this was the bit that let them down. It was really slow. The food was excellent, well-presented and delicious. I had the garage chicken with poached egg and pickled ginger. Hubby had the French toast with bacon, fried banana and berries. Would definitely come here again.

A hidden gem! Don't let the 'industrial area' location fool you. NOT just for breakfast, this places has delicious fresh food, fantastic cocktails, a great vibe and fabulous flavours. The menus change all the time. I haven't had such a good meal in a VERY long time. Went there on Saturday and felt totally chilled. The garden makes it feel like an oasis and the fresh flavours, herbs and varied dishes show the chef has talent and really loves his/her food.

We regularly go to Riba Kai for brunch on weekends. The specials change weekly so you don’t get bored with the menu. The food never disappoints - always amazing! Excellent service (thanks Gaby) and vibrant atmosphere. Oh and the coffee is the best! Highly recommend although don’t want the secret to get out! 👌👌👌

Riba Kai is a stylish, spacious cafe, tucked away in an unusual setting. There is ample seating, both indoors and out, although parking is somewhat limited. Our party of 4 all enjoyed the assortment of meals and drinks. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was well presented and high quality, and the prices were reasonable. A special thanks to the waitress who prepared our desserts. My wife ordered a few different options and explained they'd be shared amongst the group. This thoughtful lady took it upon herself to slice them all into smaller servings and present them on a long plate, allowing us to all grab a bit of everything. It worked really well and made it seem as if we had much more than actually ordered. We initially booked our visit at random, based on the positive reviews. The decision was a good one and we all left satisfied.

Used to love coming here for breakfast and brunch, back from when it was in Cotton Tree and still in the Kontiki building. Sadly, menu changes and fluctuations in quality have seen us move on. Would routinely spend $80+ on breakfast as a couple with meals, coffees (still some of the best on the coast !) and juices but with less build your own plate options the cost isn't justifiable. Staff can be outright sour at times when taking an order, which is a shame - fake a smile if you have to! Recommend the blueberry pancakes (get the lemon curd too!), sweet potato waffles and reuben. Hoping they can bounce back to their former glory.

Superb experience, staff were lovely. Food was fresh, tasty and generous in serving sizes. Well cooked, beautifully plated and had a holistic feel and touch re ingredients. The best , most tasty big breakfast in a long while, thank you. Wife delighted with her corn/ pea/ feta and mint fritters, along with a smashed avo, rocket and feta. Superb. Loved the special board tea's too! Addendum: 5 hours later have tried three breads, All are just wonderful. Please refer photo's.

My choice was a “protein “breakfast . I added the tomatoes to this dish . I was going to swap it out for the beans but they don’t do swap outs . The beans were very nice as they were really like savoury dish with more ingredients including what was like a nice tomato relish - a nice recipe . How ever this dish does not come with toast so I did request some toast . Their breads are very nice . Coffee was good so I had another 😊.nice selection of cakes too . Parking no problem. This breakfast was certainly filling . Would like to give them a 41/2 star. Back again this morning for one of my favourites white chocolate brownie with nuts on top and a nice double shot flat white 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Harvest Cafe has been my absolute go to for years, it’s right next to my work, and I honestly don’t know how I’d get through the week without it. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is consistently friendly, and the coffee? Total life saver. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite, a takeaway long black, or sitting down for a proper break, it never disappoints. Grateful to have this gem so close by!

What an absolute gem of a cafe! For starters the vast seating and spaciousness is fantastic. The customer service was friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic, portions were huge! Bacon was beautiful and crispy, poached eggs were perfection and the house made bread was utterly delicious!! Pancakes were super fluffy and fresh. Coffees were fantastic, strong bold flavours and perfect temperature! Got 4 take away muffins from the cabinet too because they looked utterly divine and none of us wanted to walk away without trying them! Little pieces of artwork they are! Best ham and cheese sandwich ive had in my entire life. I work in the Kontiki Towers, and theres nothing I look forward to more in the day than a ham and cheese from harvest 😂😂😂 service is incredible, the til staff are always amazing, and they know you by name. Ive never been more happy to support a local business, the staff members and food quality are beyond phenomenal.

A beautiful family friendly caffee offering tasty food. Fantastics service from everyone. Smiles and laughs all around. We had fish and fries with beautifully grilled barramundi. The chicken parmi was perfectly cooked and the Turkish lamb sandwich was tasty. I would recommend anyone in Twin Waters to visit and enjoy their food and welcoming atmosphere.

Really lovely place to come for breakfast! Service was lovely, warm and friendly. I’d barely finished ordered my drink and breakfast and already had my drink, which was an awesome start. I reckon I was barely sitting for 5 minutes before I had the food. The Sublime Pine Cold Pressed juice was awesome - very refreshing! I had the Eggs on Toast with a Hash Brown and Chorizo and it was extremely yummy! Perfectly cooked and the Sourdough bread was great! Highly recommend a visit for breakfast!

Good food, good service, nice vibe in this cafe. My Eggs Benedict with good quality smoked salmon, slightly runny eggs and asparagus on sourdough was delicious. My wife's savoury mince topped with an egg was also very tasty, the mince just having a touch of sweetness from the fruit. Good value too! I love my coffee but I wasn't a fan of the Kai blend they used, too roasted and lacked a natural sweetness that, in my experience, good blends have. But this a good cafe and next time I'll try a different hot drink!

Very busy cafe , but the matcha tastes just like iced water :(

Three of us went for breakfast three days in a row - which says it all! Between us, we tried at least six different things on the menu - all were great. Highlights were the Biscoff Waffles and chorizo crab scrambled eggs. Mince on toast was excellent too! Great service.

A cafe tucked in the street close to the beach. Love the interior of the cafe and the food is amazing! I ordered the Hunters (the sausage and bacon that is nitrate free taste really yummy, the rosti was so crispy and greens were cooked to perfection)! Coffee was great although the hazelnut latte that I ordered for mum was quite sweet (would advise you to tell them 1/2 serve of syrup instead). The service staff were all very friendly as well!

Epic breakfast, I’m not sure what they had done to the sourdough but it was so easy to cut through as opposed to 99% of restaurants we’re not even a steak knife works 🤣 Great menu & prices. You do need to go to the counter to order & there was only a couple menus for about 70 customers but nothing that affected my experience. Beautiful fit-out, could do with some plants or more soft furnishings, but a must for the vibe & food!

Welcoming environment, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful interior, with the outside just as nice. Food was served considerably fast giving the amount of people that had just ordered before me, and it was some of the best food I’ve had. The hunters bowl had beautiful brisket that melted in my mouth, served with a beautifully cooked potato rosti, all with bacon, sauerkraut and a chilli relish on the side, topped with a poached egg.

Seed oil free and gluten free options, love to see it. Appreciate having people within our community actually caring what goes in our bodies.

Just finished the most amazing brunch at this beautiful spot - I’ve not been before now but 100% will be coming back! Staff are very friendly (shout out to Sam who provided exemplary service from the moment we walked in). The food was on another level, as someone with some dietary needs ordering food can be difficult but here it was a breeze. Special thanks to the chef’s Zane & Tom for the “Hunters” everything was cooked to absolute perfection, fresh, filling and overwhelmingly delicious, keep up the good work, can’t wait to come back & try the rest of the menu soon!

My two-day experience: Day1 I wanted iced latte with skim milk. When ordering I checked whether they have a skim milk and was told they do. I ordered two iced lattes (one with skim milk and one with full cream) this morning but when they were ready, I was told they only use one type, Norco Capo milk. The barista said it’s already fat free. I was puzzled and asked, I ordered one with full cream and one with skim milk. The barista kept saying they both use one type of milk which is fat free. I was annoyed but decided to walk away. The barista or any staff should understand the types of milk they use. Fat content of Norco Capo milk or most of barista milk have higher fat %, even more than the normal full cream milk. I would have been okay to be told they don’t have a skim milk, it means I would have just ordered one coffee. I’m disappointed. Day2 Despite the disappointing first day experience, I gave another go. This time I ordered a long black for myself.on Saturday morning the cafe was very busy. I waited 20 minutes for my takeaway two coffees and noticed people who ordered after me were getting their coffees before me. After 3 groups of people who ordered after me getting their coffees, I approached the baristas and ask whether my coffee would be ready soon. The staff seemed the u couldn't find my order but said they would make mine next. Soon after the lady who took my order came to ask me what hapd happened. When I explained she bluntly said they only serve people as they order and what happened? To me is not true. I was stunned by their reaction and rudeness. By that stage I was done with that cafe and thought I wouldn't come back. But, the owner approached me and apologised for what had happened and offered me to come to give them another try. I went back to give one last try, and had lunch and coffee again. This time I was served an iced latte with (correct) skim milk. Food was good and generous size. The owner was upset about what had happened and how both occasions his staff got it wrong with my orders. I appreciated him taking the time to address the issues and felt his service mindset. He shouted the entire meal for us too. Staff could move but the owner will be there so I would like to drop by when in Mooloola next time for him.

My new favourite coffee shop!! Great location, friendly staff, amazing service, delicious homemade food, and best tasting coffee I've ever had!!! I ordered the corn fritters and I was really impressed by the fresh flavours of the smashed avo, delicious tomato relish, perfect poached egg.

The espresso here is absolutely perfect smooth, rich, and full of flavour. The baristas clearly know what they’re doing and genuinely care about quality. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, with music that makes you want to stay all morning. And the owners? They’re the absolute best friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. My new favourite spot for sure!

New owners really know what they are doing, what an amazing experience, from arrival to departure. We felt welcomed, looked after, the team accommodated us even when they were absolutely full. Food was just as awesome, highlight to the speed of service and quality of food. Hollandoise was homemade, and fritters and bread toasted to perfection. We will definitely be back even become regulars 🤩

Simply the best coffee shop in Mooloolaba. Every time I go there, there’s something new on the menu or a special sandwich to try, and it’s always delicious. João, Jessica, and all the staff are very friendly, always smiling and attentive.

The place is cute and the staff is very sweet! I ordered a veggie burger which was very good, the bun was soft and fluffy would highly recommend it. But for the other things I ordered like the açai bowl, smashed avo and Canadian breakfast, the portion didn’t feel worth the price.

Staying next door so slim pickings for breakfast close by. Very happy we found this little gem. Banana Bread and smoothie for me - yum 😋. Eggs Benedict and juice for my other half. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic. We've got a couple of days up here so I reckon we'll work our way through the menu👍😊.

We came up to Maroochydore in Jan 2024 for holidays and found this little gem of a cafe. We returned this year on holiday and Little Blackbird is still just as good. We bought coffee from them each day and was not disappointed. Lovely staff and awesome coffee. What more could you ask for but great coffee in the sun. 😁

A spacious and buzzing cafe along the coast with great coffee or turmeric lattes if that’s your thing (I highly recommend it). We ordered the Grounded toastie + chicken to share between 2 - plenty if you’re not super hungry or like us, saving room for yo chi. Only thing it needed was more than cherry tomato but otherwise I would kiss whoever baked that sourdough (with consent obviously)

Criminally good Toasties and coffees. Excellent ingredients with super charred toasties with a nice crunch. Have tried both chicken varieties and ham n cheese of course. Ham and cheese was good, but the herb roasted chicken with ranch sauce was the winner. Have been back twice and will keep coming back 🤝🏽

Quick stop as usual for a highly rated Café on Google Maps. The coffee was presented well with the correct amount of froth and even the pattern in line with the mug handle. The 1 & 1/2 shot almond cappuccino tasted great. They have a cake cabinet, which looked nice too, but unfortunately, we were only after coffees today. The venue contains a multitude of eclectic memorabilia and heaps of records and decorations to look at, all of which are also for sale and some reasonably priced. Customer service was ok. In a culture of lattes and cappuccinos, etc, most of us were confused about whether or not we could purchase just a normal cappuccino because the menu didn't specify. It listed cold brew and single origin coffee and sizes etc. While we felt a bit stupid to ask and got what we wanted, our friend was aware of single origin coffees in Canberra, so he assumed he couldn't order a standard Cappuccino and ordered a single origin coffee with milk on the side, which still tasted good. Perhaps, a little more work on signage and communication with customer to help teach new customers what they're selling. Overall, it was an interesting place to visit for a quick coffee. We all felt a little Newtown/Byron Bay vibes going on in their relaxed atmosphere of nostalgic collections.

These guys most certainly produce the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast & I’m lucky enough to stay regularly with my parents a few hundred metres away. I walk down every morning when I’m here and they remember me and my order each time. I’ve had a few different types of orders and never once have I been disappointed- delicious and efficient. The staff are humble and sweet and there’s a lovely younger barister with long dark hair who has such a great energy - she makes my day every time I see her. They stock delicious little treats that they mix up too. One of my girlfriends is a prolific record collector and the staff always help me find something cool for her when I need to find a gift. I get so sad when I leave the coast because it’s hard to find coffee like this elsewhere!!

Walking through the streets of Maroochydore we were looking for a coffee shop and we stumbled upon this cafe, with a cafe and a vinyl store this place couldn’t get any better! But it did, workers were talkative and told me everything I had to know about this place, I saw a record I had been looking for ages for and it was in stock, Jesus is lord by Kanye west, this place is great not only for coffee and nibbles but for records aswell great variety of products.

Perfect service - friendly, lovely and attentive staff with a smile. We came back four times! The Pretzel bun with German meat was divine and so was the eggs Benedict - both the Version with spinach and the one with shredded pork. The juices are delicious also. In short - highest quality ingredients, beautifully presented.

Chai latte was yum but cold. Ordered a latte in a TA cup and it was hot. Had eggs Benny, totally cold. Friend had same with added mushroom side, and got ONE mushroom for $4. Madness! Serving size was large, but so cold none of us finished. Atmosphere ok but it's a coffee shop in a home maker centre so low expectations. Staff friendly and polite.

Both salad and wrap from the deli section were delicious and very affordable. Everything tastes fresh and it's a lovely spot to get healthy food in a chill environment. The shop has also plenty of healthy products to offer- will come back to get some coconut vinegar!

Tasty coffee and excellent food! We had angus burger and beef brisket burger. Both were well-presented and had amazing taste! Kids zone is also a big plus for those who decide to come with little ones. Moreover, kids food is cooked and has great ovenbaked sweet potato instead of prepacked chips. Very healthy

John Kyle Cafe in Maroochydore is an absolute gem! My daughter, her bridesmaids and I had the pleasure of brunching here before my daughter's bridal fitting down the road, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The menu is all day breakfast/brunch, featuring everything from refreshing Mimosas and rich Espresso Martinis to delicious Corn Fritters, hearty Breakfast Burritos, and the most scrumptious Granola. Each dish was a treat, reflecting the cafe's commitment to quality and flavor. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring our visit was memorable from start to finish. Despite the constant buzz of activity, the service was top-notch—attentive and welcoming. They even stored our bottle of champagne for us! Parking on the street is free on Sunday's! A word to the wise: John Kyle Cafe is always busy, so it's best to make a reservation if you can. And if you're bringing along a furry friend, you'll be pleased to know that dogs are allowed outside. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, there's a perfect spot for everyone. They offer high chairs as well if needed. We can't wait to return and relive the wonderful experience we had. Highly recommend this lovely cafe!

We were up from Toowoomba for a 5-day holiday and ended up going to John Kyle twice for breakfast- it was that good! The food was absolutely amazing, with a menu that had a great variety for everyone without being overwhelming. The coffee was strong and perfect, just how I like it, and the staff were super friendly-welcoming and attentive without being over the top. The layout and vibe of the place really impressed me too. It has a trendy feel, but still manages to be totally family-friendly, which is such a great balance. Highly recommend if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back next time we're on the Coast!

A nice little Cafe to pit stop at. It's a nice place. Great for a catchup with friends and groups. The decor is welcoming. There is a variety of food choices of the menu with some sweets and pastries in the window. Coffee is nice, 4 out of 5 for for the taste and blend. Came here as they serve toasted sandwiches on regular white bread, not a fan of sourdough which most places serve. Serving size is generous. Loved the comfy seat bench and cushions at some of the tables.

The front door separates the busyness of Bennett St and the refreshing ambience of Montanas. The decor is fresh, the art intriguing, spacious, comfortable seating, and friendly engaging service. The food quality and proportions were good, and the coffee very good. There is a nice selection of meals and baking, and the service was pretty expedient. A good experience.

This is a nice little cafe, nice decor and the food is good. The staff were mixed in their delivery and the host was amiable, but could have said thank you to us for coming as we left. My eggs Benedict was good except that the ham was very cold and lowered the temperature of the eggs. Please warm it up first? There were 5 adults and we had the Big Breakfast and the smashed avo, both were enjoyed. The others also had eggs Benedict, but they chose the bacon, so they didn't have my issue and they seemed to enjoy their food. Coffee was good.

What an amazing spot! My husband and I had the most amazing experience. We were greeted immediately, coffee and and food came out so very quickly. The meal size was more than generous and absolutely delicious. From start to finish such a choice spot for brekky. We will absolutely be back.

They use to have an amazing menu - for example their Breakfast Sando which is the main reason why we went there regularly ! There is a change in the type of bread, which has brought down the taste and quality. I would have rated them 5/5 but the last time we went there, the quality had changed/reduced. Coffee is really good and so are their bakery products.

Got harassed and followed to my car by 2 security officers for taking a photo of the water where the restaurants are. I was filmed on their body cam and saw them noting down my rego as i was entering the car. I only took a photo to show my significant other because I’m from out of town. A lot of others were too but I was singled out. A respectful talk saying that photography wasnt allowed would have been better, but the way i was treated was like i was shoplifting or being a criminal. Wouldn’t recommend going here (Attached are the 3 “illegal” photos i took. Can’t believe that I was treated like this for these)

Im a man, I don’t love shopping. I have been in many countries around the 🌍 world. But sunshine plaza have something special, that’s why I spend lots of time here and I buy all what I need for home, for me and sometimes for my work in this amazing shopping centre. Many shops around, we were looking for a place to eat and found Grill’d and Yochi for a well-deserved yoghurt dessert after our meal.

I’m not usually someone who enjoys shopping, but Sunshine Plaza has completely changed that for me. The atmosphere is so open, vibrant, and relaxed that it never feels like your typical crowded shopping centre. The beautiful river running through the middle, the lush greenery, and the breezy layout make it feel more like a resort than a mall. There’s an amazing mix of shops and plenty of quiet corners to sit, relax, or grab a coffee with a view. The centre is spotless, well laid out, and the staff are always friendly. Parking is easy, and there are great entertainment options like the cinema and paddle boats — perfect for a chill day out. Even as someone who usually dreads shopping trips, I actually look forward to coming here. Sunshine Plaza is a gem on the Sunshine Coast!

One of the best shopping centres I've ever been to, with iconic clothing shops, cozy cafes, multiple food places and even the opportunity to go on a mini boat ride on the river. I'm only giving it four stars since most people lack common sense when walking around, because does it really hurt you to not be next to your annoying friends for 5 seconds?

Sunshine Plaza is always a nice place to visit, with a good mix of shops and plenty of car parking, which makes trips a lot easier. The atmosphere is usually relaxed, and it’s a convenient spot to spend a few hours shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just walking around.

Great food! We tried the Choc Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie bowl and it was SOOO creamy and delicious. The fresh fruit and toasted granola on the top was yum. We also had the Breaky Burrito, which was loaded with goodness!! (smashed avo, hash brown, egg, chorizo!) The flavours were great, and the inclusions were far from basic, which we loved. Our drinks were great too, we had a watermelon juice and an iced mocha. Cafe is lovely and quiet, indoor and outdoor seating. Super cute aesthetic, friendly staff and good menu. The pancakes are nice and the brooklyn biscuits are so good 😍 matcha latte is also yummy. There is plenty of parking around the area and markets just down the road (on Saturday.)

Firstly, the staff here are hilarious and super nice. The eggs Benedict would have to be some of the best in town. The lime tart thing was absolutely out of this world! Muffin was ok, couldn't hold a candle to the tart though. Coffee was great too! It's rare to get both good coffee AND good food in the same place these days, but these guys do both very well. It is fairly expensive though considering the amount of competition in the area, but that's subjective to your budget I guess. Will definitely be back.

Before I ordered I asked if the bowl could be takeaway because I’m driving and wanted to make sure I could take it in the car. They handed it to me with the lid off and I tried putting it on and it spurted all of the table. I then told them I asked if I could have it takeaway and apparently this is the best they could do, this was after a 1km drive home. The worst part was I paid extra to have coconut yoghurt on top but they didn’t even give me that. And the bowl was terrible.

Great spot. The sausage roll is delicious! The African rooibos orange latte was divine, a little sweet, almost as good as a dessert. Interior decorating is really nice and has a calm feeling to it.

Easily no questions asked the best tea shop in the Sunny Coast. Such a massive range of teas and an even better menu of cakes and desserts to accommodate the drinks. If you love what you had you can even buy the flavours from them. Which is what I ended up doing. I'm now a Vanilla Crème tea enjoyed.

What a delightful morning at The Silva Spoon! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the warm, cozy atmosphere filled with beautiful decor and charming details. The tea selection is incredible, and the teapot was served so elegantly with a lovely cup that made the experience extra special. The cake was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, paired perfectly with our drinks. Highly recommended—we will absolutely be back!

The Silva Spoon is a must-visit when you’re in Maroochydore! They serve fantastic coffee and absolutely delicious cakes — the Biscoff cheesecake is to die for! The atmosphere is charming, and their beautiful collection of tea sets (available for purchase) adds a lovely touch. As an award-winning tea house, it truly lives up to the hype. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality treats and a cozy vibe.

DISAPPOINTED! High tea is usually classy, this experience was not. Our 2 tables were different heights, our tablecloth was paper, the table beside us having high tea had a beautiful setting on a tablecloth and comfortable chairs, our metal chairs were not comfortable. Our server said she was there to look after us during the high tea, once we were served our food and drinks we never saw her again even though she said just call me when you need a refill or anything else. When asked where she was, I was told she’s on her break. So that means she tells the customers someone else will be looking after you now. No one came near us to make sure it was all ok or if we wanted the bottomless tea or coffee refilled. The food was mismashed, presentation needs work, a few flowers on food and plates doesn’t mean it’s high tea. Definitely not a good experience or worth the $60,00 per person.

Great selection of delicious teas and even took some home with me. So much food I couldn't finish it and also took the rest home! Highly recommend. I'm vegetarian and the veggie high tea did not disappoint.

It was really good but the granola bowl was served with a bad banana everything else was delicious like the green eggs and lemon pie

Not too many around these days but glad we found one here whilst on holiday. Lots of variety in the salad bar. Came here for an early dinner with the family. Kids had the Salad bar and my wife and I had the ribs and steak. The steak was cooked to my wife's liking but the ribs were quite tough and rubbery and I wouldn't order them again. Service was good and plates were removed from our take quite quickly. At 5pm the place was quiet.

Would you pay $30 for this vomit? That’s what it tastes like. Absolute rubbish. I understand you can’t serve yourself due to covid but seriously look at what we were served. Thought we would support for the final time at Sizzler and was left feeling so ill that night and next morning.

Our mums just brought us here because they heard this was an awesome place for dogs. They were right. We ordered a pupachino each and some chocolate crackles for the way home. Our mums ordered something and they oood and ahhhed over it and said they want to come back to try something different and for some more yummyness. The staff were so friendly and gave us lots of pats. The pupachino’s were delicious and me Fudge woofed mine in 45 seconds and ended up having half of Chino”s as well. The photos at the end are of the smiles on our dials after eating there. We will be back and we give them five paws up. Fudge 🐾 and Chino 🐾

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast this morning on recommendation from our hotel. The owners are friendly and have established a great cafe with delicious food and terrific service. And to make it even better we ordered eggs without toast and they reduced the price! We’ve never been anywhere that does this and it was really appreciated. We highly recommend Murray’s for a great meal and great coffee!

I got the steak sandwich (gluten free option) and it’s fair to say the sandwich was the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had, gluten free or not, and I’ve had a few in my time! I’ll be back for sure. I also got a delicious iced chai latte!

We’ve been to Murrays on 6th around 5 or6 times now for breakfast, and the food has always been excellent – consistently fresh, well-prepared, and one of the best breakfast options in the area. Unfortunately, where the place lets itself down is with the service. On multiple occasions, we’ve experienced staff who come across as dismissive or rude, including the owner. It really takes away from what could otherwise be a fantastic dining experience. It’s disappointing because the food deserves top marks, but the attitude of the servers and management makes it hard to fully enjoy. If the hospitality matched the quality of the meals, Murrays on 6th would be an easy five-star spot.

Fantastic food superb coffee and friendly service a must try if your in the area. One of the best eateries on the coast and Bacon and egg rolls to die for.

First of all they had a lovely environment with all employees with a great helpful attitude making my experience very swift. They had a great variety of foods for a breakfast cafe, including a very yummy B.L.T, which for me was the first time trying it and it was very good. I tried the blue heaven milkshake and oh boy was it good, it had a great cold cup with flavours including a classic vanilla and raspberry. Definitely would recommend this place, even as someone from Sydney.

This is by far the best cafe my partner and I have been to. The food was amazing, the drinks even better and the customer service was top tear! Will absolutely be returning customers anytime we are in the Sunshine Coast!

Recently stayed at the hotel above cafe Venice. We had breakfast there everyday and even lunch some days. Despite varying degrees of business. Every single time the food was quick, good portions and delicious. Alex and the staff were kind and hospitable. We hope to back one day

Had breakfast here while watching the Maroochydore half-marathon—great food, excellent coffee, and really friendly staff. I accidentally left my AirPods on the table and didn’t realise until I was back in Brisbane. The team went out of their way to post them back to me, which I really appreciated. The staffs are friendly. We had one chai latte, one dirt chai and one ginger boost. All drinks are on the too sweet side for us. Maybe it's good for some people. The location is great, just in front of the ocean, got street parking We had three big breakfasts and one something different. We all hope more green on the plate. We kind of get one spinach on each plate. Whole plate looks brown. My Sunnyside up's egg white still transparent, could be done a little more. My friend's plate has a hair/ thick eyebrow thing, she found out in the end of her meal. It was under food. She didn't want to bother because it's almost finished...

A bit pricey for what you get but the coffee is good and you can customise your own juice. Not really on the beach but has a slight view and the breeze was appreciated on this very hot and steamy morning. Felt like the furniture could be cleaner, but the atmosphere is still pretty appropriate for the location.

Absolutely terrible experience! I’d recommend the other coffee shop at the Home maker centre as staff there are super friendly. I’ve been there few times but thought I’d try Emjays. Destiny the young manager was rude and gruff towards patrons. Made us very uncomfortable which was unnecessary. Manners and kindness go a long way!!

Lunch date with my sweets the other week. A regular lunch spot for him, however my first visit. Located in the Maroochy Homemaker centre. Plenty of parking underground. Friendly female staff, welcomed us and took our order. I asked for a suggestion on a salad and order her suggestion of the Quinoa and Chicken. Loved it! Warm with lots of juicy chicken pieces, quinoa, feta and salad greens. I stuck a couple of sweet potato fries from hubby, yum! Crispy with soft centre. He enjoyed his ultimate Burger, the lot. Lots of yummy dishes and beverages to enjoy, sweet and savoury, hot or cold. In or outdoor dining. Plenty seating and a couple cosy couches, chairs. Definitely won't be my last lunch date 🥰😋

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The service at this café was absolutely appalling. The two girls at the front counter were extremely rude and disrespectful - openly gossiping and badmouthing other customers while serving people, not even bothering to lower their voices. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I gave them a look multiple times hoping they’d realise how inappropriate they were being, but they just kept going. As for the coffee - it was disgusting, bitter, and undrinkable. The food? Cold and clearly not made with any care. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or decent food 👏🏼

My wife and I were feeling peckish after looking around in the centre and we were walking past here. Out the front there was a very friendly and exuberant young man named Riley. I haven not met someone this nice in hospitality in a decade! He was brilliant! I was very sceptical about the food at first because I can be a bit hard to please, but the breakfast Turkish sandwich was absolutely out of the world. Riley also recommended the chips, which to my surprise lived up to the hype! We were absolutely blown away by them! Easily some of the best I've ever had. The other young man there was also incredibly nice and super friendly. Very cool people. Great food, great coffee, and probably the best service I've had in years. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area.

I've been visiting this cafe for nearly 2 years now in Maroochydore home-maker centre. The coffee is one of the best on the coast. Food is good. My only complaint is that the girl on the front counter she never smiles or engages in any conversation. I thought she didn't have a personality but gets quite animated when other staff members turn up & you hear all about their weekends, talking and laughing quite loudly. I'm ok about that, but please train your staff to smile and engage with customers. I'm sure as a barista she does a wonderful job. We are paying for your service so please use some personality!

Couldn't love this place more! Clean, quiet and cosy. The guys behind the counter are great - never standing around chatting or doing nothing. It's a much better experience than all of the other coffee shops put together. My favourite item from the menu is their iced chocolate - made how they used to be, before cafes started filling them with ice cubes to cut costs. Well done, team. Always a pleasure to stop in!

Not at all what it used to be. Spent over $70 this morning and everything was bad. Coffee burnt, chips inedible and sandwiches with "fresh" Turkish bread that was stale and cold from the fridge. Very disappointing.

Expensive for the quality and serving size, long wait when quiet and minimal to no service. So realistically zero "hospitality". Avoid and visit small local cafes etc instead.

We’ve come here for breakfast for a long time and Cenzo’s never disappoints. The $14 breakfast special is the go to - it’s generously served with a large slice of bacon, egg, and thick cut bread which is plenty. The sausage is the MVP - I don’t usually like sausages but this one is a must try. If you’re super hungry, grab an extra piece of toast. The juices are well done and the smoothies are creamy and full of fruit. The coffee is fantastic and the service is warm and welcoming.

One of the best cafes I have found on the Sunny Coast by far! The portion sizes are big and they bake fresh big muffins daily, and they are amazing. The service is lovely and I would much rather support a family business than a big retail chain. Keep up the great work Cenzos !!

Had lunch with family. The pizza was recommended by waitstaff and we were not disappointed. All the toppings were fresh and just the right amount so no topping was overpowering another. The base was crisp on bottom but soft on top. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to come back. Also ordered coffee and it was perfect. Chips were a bit over salted for me but I don’t like a lot of salt. Very nice otherwise.

Yes! I have had bacon and egg sandwiches here for breakfast in the past and was dying to come back for traditional Italian. Sadly they don’t do their pasta or pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays I think they said. What we did have was still perfecto! I had the lasagne and it was so delicious and moist, dry lasagne just no. My dad had a hamburger and friend had a chicken burger and we were all loving our food. The staff are lovely and friendly and came by for a chat. Will be back for pizza and pasta for sure.

Great cafe although parking can sometimes be difficult due to its central location. There's always a good crowd of people here and I love the food, particularly the crepes, meatball Monday and the fresh juices. The owners are always friendly and up for a chat. If you want to try some Scandinavian inspired food then this is the place for you!

My favourite cafe on the Sunshine Coast! Friendly, staff, great food and the coffee is always fantastic, they always remember I like sweetener instead of Sugar in a takeaway cup! Scandanavian decor and treats on sale like Swedish licorice! Love it!

Staff didn’t want to be there or at least that was the vibe they gave off which set the atmosphere Ordered a Granola Greek Yoghurt and had to search to make sure they had remembered to put the food in the bowl. Very small serve for $18. Coffee was terrible. Would highly recommend going anywhere else. Don’t waste your money

Aussie icon the coffee club. We love finding these cafes, the menu is big and has something for everyone. All day dining, hot & cold beverages and plenty of seating. The friendly team here seem happy and smiles all round. The service was quick and coffee ☕️ perfect temperature A secret most people don’t know is the Coffee Clubs VIP card. You get 2 4 1 coffees all day everyday! Plus there are specials that are sent out. The recent one was two for one burgers 🍔 The burgers were so good, we went back two nights in a row!

It was ok and quite busy. The staff were pleasant but like many cafes and coffee shops professional staff training is lacking. Things like ensuring tables are cleaned, dirty dishes removed from tables, unstable tablets fixed so that coffee doesn’t spill when placed in front of a customer. Not major stuff just small frustrations from a place that has a good location and reasonable food.

Disappointed! Nachos - chips were crumbled, meat was dry, not enough cheese and sauce - on the plus side the avocado was plenty, fresh and delicious. Salted caramel frappe - all ice and no flavour but the coffee. The only redeeming thjng was the Kids chicken nuggets and chips and milkshake - a winner with the kid. Cannot believe I paid so much for such poor quality food.

Got told from the barista girl by an attitude that i was 4 min early to pick up my coffee when i only asked if it was ready as I might of missed it. The way she said it was so rude and unprofessional. Spoke to the manager and the manager was no better herself saying barista is under pressure . Well that is not my problem and not an excuse to treat a costumer this way. Everytime I have been to this place they never have a smile on their face. Hope you get new staff with great service and spirit!

I ordered the nachos and pistachio hot chocolate. Pulled pork was dry, not enough salsa & cheese. I took back the drink but the next one was no good. Hot chocolate didn't have hot chocolate flavour.

Lovely cafe overlooking park area. Open air ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Vege Stack, Dukkah and Corn Fritters. All dishes very enjoyable. The Chocolate Florentine was too sweet. Quick and friendly service. Reasonable prices.

Just zipped in hoping for something easy and fast and didn’t order anything fancy - and it turns out I have the best iced coffee I’ve had in forever, the most delicious homemade brownie and the most crispy seasoned French fries ever. Totally thrilled can’t wait to bring my fam back here! Thank you

This Cafe ticks all the boxes. A proficient, friendly young staff with old school service. The coffee was bang on good beans and made perfectly. I had eggs benedict, can't remember having one that looked better or tasted better. Great view of the park and beach from the outdoor seating. Service was incredibly quick. What more could you ask for.

Banjo’s usually has nice cakes and pies, however don’t bother buying their apple or custard scrolls. I bought two of each and was very disappointed. There was virtually no apple or custard inside these scrolls, just a dry sweet bun with some icing on top. I felt ripped off so two stars for these items.

What's not to like here at Banjo's!! Baked daily, fresh, tasty and a great variety to choose from, savoury, sweet, drinks, for the healthy conscious and not so hehe. Parking can get a little congested in the complex but ample in the plaza nearby. Plenty tables and chairs. Nice spot along the riverside and just over from the plaza. Beware of your food with the magpies and wildlife near by,t they're savage haha. Friendly staff, helpful. Their catering service is great too.

Great service, great prices but most of all great pies, pastries, and bread. We no longer buy Woolies bread (been stale lately) and buy Banjo’s instead. I really like this shop!!!

Great Bakery in Sippy Downs!! Near is amazing, doughnuts are excellent and the rolls with filling are full of flavour!! Did I mention the coffee? It was the best on the Sunshine Coast!! And the pies are amazing. Not sure why or how others give a 1 star review I highly recommend Banjo's Bakery in Sippy Downs!!

Went there on a Saturday morning, not too crowded not empty, very nice terrace to enjoy and really chilly. Food was 5 stars also, every ingredient was quality and prepared the way that it should be, special mention for the homemade ketchup ! Thanks again for this moment

Friends on a Sunday.. it was horrific, a separate order of chips was ordered but served on another friends plate with his meal. He ate them thinking it was part of his order. When the error in serving was picked up he had eaten most. The fact that this was ordered and paid for separately would normally come with an apology and another serve being brought to the customer who had missed out, but no, just rudeness and a refusal to replace despite it being a service error. For the sake of good customer relations the cost would be very small but no, the staff member who took the order and made the error was rude and the manager refused to replace the missing serve. Coffee went to the wrong table, there was no replacement or refund if the food, so the friend who ordered chips got none! We waited for the missing order to be replaced, but when bringing it to the attention of the staff it was met with a flat NO, and a refund refused. Other guests had to listen to all this. Surely a smart restaurant owner/manager would realise that this sort of negative treatment to paying customers ultimately costs more than the price of a few chips. Needless to say word spreads, and other cafes will benefit from the fact that there are now quite a few who will not be dining at Mio Spazio again....! Staff training re good service and politeness to paying customers is recommended, and the owner should investigate the rudeness if his/her manager costing trade.

Food is good. Staff is friendly and respectful, however, I do wish they’d bring your order to your table for dine in, and they need to speak up with the order ready calls. I also wish you didn’t have to walk through the entire dining area when you’re only ordering takeaway. “Constructive criticism”

Fancied a coffee today. Waited at the drive thru coffee window for a good 5 mins despite no one being in front or behind me. All the people were just chatting away ignoring us. When I was served my coffee the girl for some reason was really rude towards me. Purposely held the card machine far away from my car and was super short and rude with me. I wished her a nice rest of the weekend and was met with a huff and a puff. To this young lady: If you work in a coffee shop I would argue it's a good idea to not get annoyed at somebody for ordering a coffee. It did make us laugh how unnecessary it all was. 2 iced coffees isn't the end of the world. Me and my girlfriend left the drive thru laughing a the ridiculous situation. And I don't often write reviews so it gives you an idea of how unnecessary the situation was 😆 coffee was pretty burnt as well. Shame really as I'm a regular at zaraffas but this has put me right off.

It's alright, just alright for me especially when in comparison to Nambour. I always go to Nambour when I do my monthly drive to the Sunny Coast from north of Gympie and go to the doctors and other places down there. It's always the highlight of my day and I get the same order every time, it's not a custom one or anything, just a white chocolate mocha. But I gave Maroochydore a try the other day and left disappointed. It took WAY longer to get through drive through even though there was only 3 of us using it and the coffee tasted burnt and all the syrup was done the bottom, not stirred through, so the top 3/4 was bland and the bottom 1/4 had to go in the bin as it was so sweet and overpowering. It's a shame as it's such an easy fix, just stir the coffee. I don't know about the burnt flavour though as Nambour doesn't have this and I've been going to them since they opened. I've gone to other stores as well and they were all the same as Nambour, so not sure why Maroochydore is so lacking compared to the rest.

This used to be one of two Z restaurants in town but now is the only one. Good spot to meet up with friends. Drive through, takeaway or dine in. I'm not a coffee drinker but plenty of other hot/cold, sweet/savoury options that I enjoy. Favourites are Creme Chocolade Fusion (Frappe), hot chocolate, chai latte, coconut loaf, banana bread, spinach roll, caramel slice, BNE roll. There's a Z app that rewards you with 10% of your purchase and accumulates to dollar off your future purchase when you get to a certain amount. I believe you get a free beverage of sorts on your birthday too 🥰 A yes for me! 👏

How disappointing. My 2 eggs on toast were stone cold and looked like they’d been scraped from a bin. Smallest piece of toast, overloaded with butter and smeared on plate. I complained. Another plate arrived exactly the same but with the addition of vinegar water to soak the toast. Yuck!!

Excellent service, smiling faces, dealt with my challenging gluten free and dairy free requests like experts. I got eggs on toast with a green smoothie, and my partner got the big brekkie with iced coffee. Portions were an okay size, however only one piece of toast not two, and for the price you pay it was A LOT for what you got. Food did taste really nice though. Good coffee and the smoothie was amazing!

we went yesterday morning to have breakfast but to be honest I didn't like the food. It was so oily and way too much butter and i told them no ice on my drink twice but there was more ice and the staff they were so much in rush that they don't care about customer. We went here on the weekend for breakfast and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The staff were neither friendly nor helpful. This seems to be a very common issue with all coffee clubs. We ordered 2 meals and a coffee and unsurprisingly both were even worse than the service. Most of the items on my "big breakfast" were over cooked but ironically, stone cold. Everything on my wife's plate tasted like yesterday's leftovers pulled straight from the fridge. Except the coffee, that was OK at best. Considering how expensive it is to eat here, it is really disappointing just how poor the quality of the food and drinks are. This particular Coffee Club is a must avoid.

Order a chocolate frappe which was more like a chocolate milkshake which contained minimal chocolate in it, along with bacon/ egg on a crumpet. Waiter delivered items with no cutlery, on pointing this out, made no effort to return with utensils. Wife’s hot mocha and orange/ almond cake very nice, and came with cutlery!!!

I was very disappointed with my cappuccino. I ordered it to take at the coffee shop, so I expected it to be served in a mug. But, to my surprise, it came in one of those to-go cups. I asked the waitress, and she told me it's because of the time; since they close at 4 p.m., they stop serving it in mugs at 3:30 p.m. I was very disappointed (they should have told me this when I was making my order), and the waitress tried to console me by saying that this cup contains more coffee. I had to explain that it's not about quantity, but about quality. I prefer to drink my coffee at the establishment precisely because I like it from a mug, not a paper cup. In short, I was disappointed, and the coffee was also of average quality, which is why the beautiful river view is the only thing that makes this place so special. Disappointing!

The owner hasn't been there long but I think he's over it. He needs some training the Coffee Club way. The food I got was just all wrong but he told me....there's always one...I didn't realise that you pay good money and don't get what you ordered but you are not allowed to say anything cause that's how it's done. Been going every week for ages. Lost me all because of the owners attitude!

Tasty pies in a tidy restaurant. Not the cheapest pies in the world but they are a good size and well constructed. The pastry is nice and the pie doesn't fall apart as you eat it. We ordered the Signature Steak, Steak & Mushroom, and Curried Steak and they were all delicious.

Wow, great pie! 3pm on a Saturday, and there are still plenty of pie options. Seating inside and outside. The signature pie was delicious. It has been a long time since I had such a delicious pie!

I'm a coeliac, can't have gluten. The pepper steak pie was fantastic. Lots of gluten free pies are very average, but Beefy's pies are to die for.

I’ve eaten a lot of pies in my time. Some I’ve been ashamed to ever mention. A 7/11 4am Pie, Cake shop pies. Today I ate the Beef and pepper lunchtime special with a drink and chips. Wow. Delicious. Best pie and chips I think ever. Friendly service from Dylan. If you love a pie a sausage roll or treat. Just go there.

They have great pies and sausages rolls here we live at Alex so close buy sometimes when we haven’t eaten at breakfast we will call in about 10 for a pie or I love there sausage rolls. I’m glad they have one in Maroochy as I used to call in to the one near Aussie world when driving past. Always consistently great !!!

Great gluten free pies, coeliac safe, the meal deal is great value and the large can easily be shared between two adults. The fries are done in a separate fryer so no worries of cross contamination and the cheese sauces are also gluten free

Edited: we had a signature steak, potato top pie and regular chips with chicken salt. The staff let us split the bill, pay cash and there was no line which is rare 😊 thank you for a delicious lunch!

Incredible food, delicious drinks and fantastic location. We had such a great time with the family. The adults ate and drank while the kids played and swam. We all had different meals and everyone was stoked with their meal, 2 even saying the steak sandwich was the best they had ever tasted. We will absolutely be back! Perfect family afternoon.

What an idyllic setting? The food is excellent, service efficient and friendly and prices very reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant, even if you want to just drop in for a coffee. We are really fortunate to have booked at this caravan park with such a great facility available.

My sister and i visited on Thursday. Everything was💯% just like our other 3 visits! We're planning to make it our place to go for Brunch/ lunch to make a day of her visit. ( My Sister drives up from Brisbane so our dogs can go to stylish Canine groomers. 🥰 The food is DELICIOUS and they have a great menu. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and very peaceful. ☺️☺️☺️

While heading to the airport took a detour to Driftwood restaurant. Best decision. We had the buffalo wings and meat lovers pizza. Food was amazing. We also arrived at happy hour so enjoyed some local brewed beer.

Very reasonably priced high quality menu, great quality. Great atmosphere with live music. Watch out for the daily specials, not to be missed and budget friendly. You won't be disappointed!!!!

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I just can’t let this one slide. This was hands down the worst pasta I’ve ever had in my life. At the very least, food should be edible — but this tasted like overcooked flour noodles soaked in ketchup water. The only things I could stomach were the two shrimp inside the pasta and a few potato chips. I left as quickly as I could after that.

It was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. The eggs benedict was not bad, but the eggs were overcooked.

I live very close so always love to pop in at local businesses so went for breakfast not a good experience they had only one person on the floor so he wasn’t able to look after us waited around 20-25 min and had to walk away that day, but given second chance today but this time as well not a good experience tables coming after us were served and we were left behind had to wait for 15 min to get served or someone at table. Food is ok but service not the best.

Great service. No waiting. Enjoyed our Eggs Bene & Chicken Club Sandwich... love the complimentary bottles of water. Nice little break from the crazy mall full of shoppers. In a great place on the outside of the mall with choice of indoor or outdoor eating. Plus they have dog friendly tables...so thats a bonus.

When I first looked at the menu I was very sceptical about the size and variety but thought we would give it a crack. Wow!!! Service was fast and efficient and the food was much better than expected. We actually couldn’t fault it tbh. A lovely addition was the extra condiments in the caddy on each table. After my steak breakfast, I added marmalade to my extra peice of toast! The quality and value of food was top notch.. we will definitely be back. Well done Maroochy venue

Very well priced and above average menu. Coffee was very okay as well (I usually prefer someone who looks like they feel like standing behind the machine is their calling in life…) Outdoor seating come handy for dog owners 👍🏽

If I can rate zero stars I would. 35 minutes waiting from 1520- 1555. 3 times check with staff without any positive outcomes. Just want an ice cream and apple pies for today. Full of the house people have left even they came later than me. Judge people with how much they spend? Next door Chinese take away is quicker than McDonald’s. Who is famous for fast food?

The place was a dump. Literally scraps and garbage dumped everywhere. Staff didnt care, really long wait times, heard another customer complain about the garbage everywhere and the staff member just shrugged and sauntered off. No urgency, no care, no standards. Food was overcooked and stale. Do better McDonalds.

It was an early morning (around 4am) but the drive through took about 40-45mins to get through. Not only that, I was given the wrong muffins, I asked for Sausage & Egg and ended up with Bacon & Egg but I was already on my drive and I wasn't going back to wait for service.

Nice restaurant, nice burgers, however, as pensioners we try to limit our expenses by eating out at Maccas twice a week with a McSmart meal & a free seniors coffee, total cost $6.95. This restaurant charged $11.45, no free seniors discount !

Absolutely Disgusted The customer service at this McDonald's is just sad. I politely asked for no pickles on my burger due to an allergy, and not only did they still put pickles on it, but when I took it back, I literally watched a worker remove the pickles by hand and rewrap the same burger — seriously?! On top of that, the burger was cold and completely unappetizing. The chips (fries) were also cold, hard, and tasted like they'd been sitting out for hours. For nearly $20, you'd expect at least a fresh meal, but instead, I got served absolute garbage. Disgusting experience. Definitely won't be coming back.
