Well organised systematic Cafe with great food and even better Kaya! Best kaya i have ever tasted. Smoky and good flavour of caramelised brown sugar.

My family and I really enjoyed the laksa. It was mildly spicy and flavourful. The broth was thick and rich and absolutely tickled our palates. We also ordered kaya toast and it must be one of the tastiest ones I’ve had. However, the ngau chap noodles was somewhat disappointing and tasted watered-down. It unfortunately brought down the dining experience at Yee Fung Laksa a few notches. Nonetheless, we had an enjoyable time and would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s in Sabah for a visit.

Local specialty laksa. (And to be clear, the laksa is not the same as what you get in Singapore or Penang). The version here has a distinct curry flavor and deeper umami. Lines may be long but very efficient. There is a regular serving and "King" serving size, with the latter having shell on large prawns (vs smaller prawns). Fresh and flavorful, but you decide if you want to peel by hand! The chili sauce on the side is very nice too. Wash it all down with a iced preserved lemon or plum drink.

One of the best noodle always here if visited this place, plus their price is reasonable too. Food is consider good as well. Just that sometime there is long line of people waiting for table, but can see they are very good in organizing it included advance order and very quick serve your food.

Came here to try their laksa and it didnt disappoint! Though its not very hot and noodle portion is abit small. Their fish ball was OK but the dry noodles was cooked too long as its soft and mushy. Place is quite packed with people so you might need to queue depending on the time you visit. Staffs here are very friendly and you will need to order at the counter.

The laksa soup was okay, but I was a bit disappointed with the prawns. I ordered the larger prawns, but unfortunately, they weren’t fresh. I was expecting fresher seafood in Sabah! The beverage was good though…sorry, I forgot the name! Hahahha

Came here because of the high ratings. Came here for breakfast. Super crowded. The laksa is acceptable but not the best. Felt like the soup is quite diluted. Not flavourful. Fishball is great. Overwhelmed by the extremely efficient and fast service. Shop has AC but due to the hot weather it feels like no AC. So hot that we had to leave immediately after as it’s too humid.

Good food and beverages, excellent customer service by the staffs. Though the drinks are a bit small for me considering the price given, and the creamy pasta was actually quite dry. Sitting on the outdoor area enclosed in shades, its a calm and breezy atmosphere once the clouds covers the hot sun

we had high expectations after seeing the reviews but unfortunately we are disappointed. First of all, one of the most liked item in menu smoothy bowl that i was looking forward to eat was out of stock at 12 o'clock on Saturday and after checking the menu i noticed about half of the items in menu are not available and we ended up getting an average Nook's breakfast and Lox & Loaded on sourdough because parmesan Focaccia bread was out of stock too :D ambiance is okay but tables are too close to each other and its causing trouble for people to move around. its quite a busy street and very difficult to find a parking lot so best to park in nearby mall and walk if you have a car. To be honest there are better options nearby same area..

Had breakfast at Nook Café this morning and honestly, it was pretty solid. I went for their signature breakfast and it was very fulfilling. The sautéed mushrooms were really tasty, and the slight tang from the salad worked so well with everything. Just wish the food came out hotter — would’ve made a big difference. However, the baked beans portion was tiny not ideal if you’re a baked beans fan. But overall, the vibe of the place was great. Chill atmosphere, music wasn’t blasting, staff were friendly and super helpful, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Nook Cafe is a cosy little spot that works when you just want a place to sit, sip and snack. The menu covers the basics well, from quick bites to breakfast sets and a few extras. Taste-wise, it’s okay, nothing that’ll blow your socks off but nothing disappointing either. Prices are fair for a cafe, you won’t feel like you’ve overpaid. The environment is humble and welcoming, with the option to sit in air conditioning or enjoy the open-air section if you like a bit of breeze with your coffee. Staff are attentive enough and keep things moving smoothly. Accessibility is good since it’s wheelchair friendly, though parking is the real test of patience. Paid parking is available, but finding an empty spot can feel like playing hide and seek with cars. Will I come back? Maybe, especially if I need a comfy pit stop in town.

Sandwiches are we ordered to much oilies. Better not buy Smoky salmon. All ingredients are oily, even we ordered black coffee but still...

Food was great, flavourful with a bit of a local twist in the seasoning. Cosy environment. Clean toilets too!

Ordered the lamb for 52 MYR — the portion was worth the price and it tasted decent. Unfortunately, the churros were disappointing and didn’t taste like churros at all. On the bright side, the service was excellent as the waiters were really friendly and attentive.

Food here has always been consistent. Their mutton & fish curry are recommended. Service is quite efficient and the staffs are good at their job. My family frequents this place at least 1-2 times a week. Their roti’s are great too. My favourite are the capati and apam manis. Worth a try to food lovers🤤.

An old traditional curry house that serves classic Indian curry rice. What they lack in hygiene or the non air conditioned environment, they make it up with the food. I strongly recommend the mutton curry and fried fish. Servings are good sized and I had a hearty meal there. Will return again.

Famous place for banana leaves in town. So be ready to wait. And please be there early, else things might sold out when you are there. Food was okay for me, but nothing really stands out. I like the energy of the staff and owners. Great vibe. Please note that they have closed the aircond section, so it's open air. And it's kinda difficult to get a parking in town area. So urgh...

I recently discovered a hidden gem, a charming vintage shop that I never knew existed. What amazed me the most was their authentic Indian cuisine, bursting with robust spices while maintaining a delicate balance. The aromatic aroma of their biryani instantly transports you to another world, and the accompanying vegetable side dishes are prepared with such finesse that the true essence of the vegetables shines through. The curries are beautifully fragrant without being overpowering with milk, coconut cream, or oil. I was impressed with their roti canai too, which had a delightful crispy texture without any greasiness. Moreover, the attentive and friendly waiter ensured that orders were promptly taken and served. It's no wonder this place is always buzzing with activity, as the queue of eager customers seems never-ending.

I came here because I have seen this place recommended on websites etc. It was fine, it is a good place for a cheap meal, probably a banana leaf meal. The food was just OK, not bad, but no special flavours or anything to be excited about. I would have given a higher score, but the mango lassi was more like a mango smoothie.

The Indian food was very nice, and the fish was exceptionally fresh. However, the staff could be more friendly. It would be appreciated if they could avoid shouting while taking or serving orders, as it affects the dining atmosphere.

Had breakfast at Ming Ge on Gaya Street — definitely worth a visit! 🥢 There’s a wide variety of noodle choices, and the crispy pork is really crispy — cooked to perfection. The noodles are firm with great texture that keeps you wanting more. 🍜✨ The shop is a bit small, so expect a wait during peak hours, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and taste. Will come back again for sure!

We were hungry but there were no free tables and we didn't understand the menu. An old Chinese stood and invited us to join us, helped us to order food, chatted with us. We told him we'd pay for his food, but he had already paid for ours! Great memory and fully recommend the food and ambience. 👌

Friendly owner and fast service. I have had better dry noodles but this one is not too bad too. They have various types of noodles for you to choose from. Char siew was so so only, siu yuk pretty good. We went there for the porridge but they no longer sell porridge.

Famous for its roasted duck, right in the centre quite closed to Gaya Street and just a bit walking distance from the big hotels. For me the taste was just okay. I prefer duck with more fatty flavour to it, this was quite lean. The roasted duck can be eaten with either rice or a variety of noodles. I chose rice and it was just plain white rice, did not have much to say. Overall was okay.

It was alright, decent roast duck but nothing mind blowing to reign as the best I've had. Noodles and sauce mix were alright too. Not overcooked and overall an enjoyable meal.

Wow, this place surpassed all expectations. My wife and I have come here twice and I wish we had visited more times because the flavor of the noodles and meat are so good! Originally came here just to try tuaran noodles but the smoked duck leg, bbq pork, and other meats added so much to the noodle dish. The staff is very friendly and they allowed me to try a few different meats the first time we came so I could see what I liked… I liked them all! I highly recommend trying the tuaran noodle (it is an egg noodle that is slightly fried before boiling it) with the smoked duck leg. However don’t miss out on the bbq pork because it was equally as tasty and tender as the duck with a slight crispy edge. The place can get quite busy in the mornings but they have a quick turnover rate so the wait shouldn’t be long. We will be coming back here

I tried its Tuaran Mee this morning. Not bad. However, I also ordered a Barley Ping drink that was too diluted. Otherwise, this almost 50 year old kopitiam is worth trying for its wide variety of local food. And the ambience here brings you back to the old days.

One off the best Tom yam in KK , that’s the one and only dish i ordered every visit . The lady boss is very friendly and besides local , there are many asian tourists patronising the shop. Hard to find parking in the area at times. All transactions in cash only as there is no QR pay or any other e payments.

Seng Hing has been well known for their tomyam prawn noodle soup for decades. Over the years, the prawns have gotten smaller from one big prawn split in half in the early days, to now just small prawns. The soup is also less thick than before. Still tasty, but not quite the legend it once was.

I like the Tuaran mee. You can expect some wok hei and the good flavour of the noodle. I came during the off peak hour, so there’s plenty of table available. Do prepare some cash for payment as it is preferable payment method by the restaurants

Sat near the street, nice atmosphere where you can see passersby. The laksa is pretty good, I find the laksa compared to Singapore ones is thinner in broth. Not bad still. Savory but not very heavy on coconut milk.

For me, the tuaran mee is overrated unless you order lihing (white cooking wine) tuaran mee. Sweet and sour fish was ok. The wet butter chicken is the best in town in my opinion- the sauce is like pure butter with added flavours. My friends always get their famous laksa here. Chicken fried rice is nice too.

We ordered beef noodle, chicken rice, toast, and 15 sticks of satay. The beef noodle was great, the chicken rice not so great, the toast was okay, and the satay was excellent, especially considering the price - RM1 for chicken and beef, and RM1.60 for mutton. We had eaten more expensive satay the night before, and it wasn't as nice. They people here were also very customer focused.

I visited this restaurant with my family and had a great experience. I had heard that the sate here was really delicious, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were amazing. However, the food took longer to come out than I expected, so I recommend ordering everything you want at once to avoid waiting too long. Since there are only a few tables, if you arrive a little late, you might have to wait outside for quite a while. But overall, the food was definitely worth it!

I always thought a personal water bottle didn't count as an outside drink. From now on, I'll just get takeaway satay from the friendly abang if I have my water bottle with me to avoid this hassle. It might be helpful if the shop would put up a sign to let customers know that they don't allow personal water bottles inside.

Arrived here at 11am and had the mee soto and bakso soto, as well as the rojak. All three were pretty good. We then waited till 1220 pm for the satay stall to open, and the satay was delicious and worth queueing up for. The chicken satay was moist and tasty, and you should also try the beef and beef tripe. The lamb was nice, without the overpowering lamb taste. Do also pair the food with the local teas or coffees. The owner speaks Korean and Mandarin, and there are mNy tourists from Korea and China, all waiting to try the satay.

Make sure to come on weekends around noon or starting at 1 pm for satays!! NO.1 satay in my life, I’ve eaten any others like here. Must try beef tripe, they are phenomenal. The beef noodle soup was okay, but satay is a MUST at a reasonable price !!!

Favorite place to have excellent satay at 2.30pm. Actually there are another 2 satay stalls down the row but this shop has the most korean tourists. Dont know, why?.. Maybe good feng shui...lol.The chicken satay is rm1 and beef satay at rm1.20 each. Ordered 15 pcs each for beef and chicken satay for 3 pax. U can order 1 set of bread celup or ketupak too. they serve mee soto and nasi campur on morning but it is another stall. Actually next door shop namely fortune and kedai kopi kun hin also sell beef and chicken satay equally tasty and less crowded.

Very clean bowls at the end of my meal is a sign of really good food 😂 Very enjoyable meal in the lovely company of a dear friend who recommended this place. The beef slices were nicely marinated and tenderised. Could not get enough of their soup. Flavourful and full bodied. Portion of the noodles were good too. Definitely a full meal at a decent price point. Lots of locals at this eatery so that speaks for itself. Only con is, there's quite a bit of MSG in the food... But for the flavours I had experienced, I'll definitely return to this again in my next visit to Sabah.

Possibly the best beef noodles I’ve ever had in KK. The owner ain’t holding back when it comes to the portion. Will come on my off days to have a warm soothing bowl and start my day. Worth driving 20 minutes from town just to enjoy my comfort food. Amazing.

Among the best Ngiu Chap in town, famous with tourist. Menu has expanded to Laksa, and chicken options as wel. The brother has a store at Damai as well.

Yii Siang Ngiu Chap’s beef curry noodles are a must-try for anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu — the kind of dish that defines local flavour and keeps you coming back long after your first bowl.

Generous amount of meat, my go to spot for Ngiu Chap noodles. Rich broth, tender beef, silky soft tendon, and springy egg noodles all packed into one filling bowl. This place also serves laksa that gets my Sarawakian stamp of approval. If you’re missing that Kuching hometown taste, this one’s worth a try.

The food at here was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of dishes available at such an affordable price. The portion sizes were generous, and each dish was bursting with flavor. I couldn't believe how much value for money I got. The ambiance was also cozy, and the service was excellent. We came here for their Themed Weekend Buffet Dinner held every Saturday, from 6pm to 10pm. It was "Seafood Fest Week" on August 31. We booked and paid on Thursday, so the price was RM106 per adult (including tax). Parking is free. Use the same entrance as the Oceanus parking and go all the way up to the 4th floor. The condition is a bit dilapidated, and it takes a while to spin all the way (and down after you are done). The lift from the parking area does not go straight to the restaurant. You will have to go down to the lobby, and switch to the lifts in Lobby B to go up to this restaurant on the 8th floor. The swimming pool is also located on the same floor, and it should be a good view during sunset. Oysters are available, though it seems like they no longer replenish it by 8pm+. A bit too frozen, so need to wait for it to thaw a bit. Freshness is OK. Scallops are plump and juicy. The big prawns in shells are not as good as the prawns used in the salads, which are bouncy and sweet. There is also a small selection of cold cuts and cheese, which was quite enjoyable too. We tried some of the Indian food and also a little bit from the other cooked food sections, the taste was OK, nothing outstanding. Halfway through the meal there is a "teh tarik" performance, which was quite fun to watch, both the performance itself as well as the reaction of the audience. The teh tarik is very good. It is available from the dispenser, so no need to wait for the performance to taste it. The dessert was decent too, though there was nothing particularly memorable. Overall it was a good meal, we just focused on eating the things we like (oysters, scallops, salad, cold cuts, and cheese), and those things were done well, so we are happy. The seafood chowder is excellent. I think this buffet dinner is worth paying RM100 for, though if there could just be 2 or 3 sashimi options at the Japanese section, it would be perfect. Also the condition of the toilets needs to be improved. 5-star hotel toilets must always smell nice. Recommended.

Truly 5* on all counts. I tried its international buffet dinner this evening and the food choices and quality was excellent - especially the satay, the char kway teow and the red bean soup. And the service and atmosphere here too was excellent. The staff were quick to clear used plates and the chefs at the cooking stations were very attentive and helpful. And the atmosphere? Simply breathtaking especially the sunset view.

To welcome the new year, we decided to celebrate with the New Year’s Eve buffet at the kitchen @8 restaurant in Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The buffet itself was impressive, offering an exciting spread of international cuisines to suit every taste. From a generous cheese selection to fresh sushi, mussels on ice, and a colorful fruit bar, the variety alone was worth the visit. What really stood out for us were the steak and rich, slow-cooked stew—both cooked to perfection and full of flavor. While the outdoor terrace offers sweeping views of the sea and skyline—especially magical at sunset—we chose to dine indoors for a bit of relief from the tropical heat. Still, the ambience inside was elegant and festive, with great service that made the evening feel even more special. Whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just stopping by for a good meal, Marriott Kota Kinabalu’s buffet is definitely worth checking out—especially for a celebration.

Kitchen@8 is part of the Marriott Hotel, located in 8th floor, a hotel style all you can eat. My 1st impression is this kitchen looks very high class, but after i having my dinner here, this place look nice from outside, inside just so so... Food not taste good, limited choices, too crowded.. If got others choices, i never choose this place. The worst thing is car park very full, need park at level that no light, very dark! what is this? Is quite dangerous for single women who drive there... Really a bad experience! Will not consider to come again...

Was Having A Lunch Here For The 1st Time. Meal were good also have a cozy environment. You guys should try it.

Been there to try out their Hot Plate Set Lunch. Decided to choose their Irish Beef Stew (set comes with Lemon mint cooler, butter rice, garlic bread & plain soup), while my husband opt for Oxtail Asam Pedas and kids meal (Fish and Chips) for my 3 yo daughter. Among these 3 menus, Fish and Chips win my heart as portion itself is quite generous (of course taste is good too). While my Beef Stew still ok to my taste bud. Oxtail Asam Pedas has its own unique taste (but not really the same during their buffet Ramadhan 2021). All foods I have ordered are excellent and still can be improvised.

this is another place that we're recommended by a local but found it not too right for us. their signature siu mai was only a steamed meat ball, the laksa was flat and others just so-so. kaya toast should have more kaya jam. the special tea that i got was OK. i think it's really a casual local restaurant but without any sparkling items.

The space is not bad, and it is located on Gaya Street in the city center, close to the post office. There are many shops opposite, and there are many gifts. It is a good place to take time to stroll around. I think the food is okay, - generally。

Visited this place because it was highly recommended by many YouTubers. The roti kahwin (kaya butter toast) tasted quite ordinary, not something worth making a special trip for. The toast looked nicely browned but wasn’t warm, and the kaya and butter portions were just average. Other dishes, like the fried noodles and porridge, felt more like a 2 star hotel breakfast. The environment was quite noisy, and the number-calling bell kept ringing nonstop, it felt like an impatient girlfriend calling repeatedly. Overall, it’s good to experience once, but not worth revisiting again.

Laksa can order over the counter but incomparable with Sibu & Kuching Sarawak laksa. Fried noodle/bihun/rice can order from self service counter. Kaya butter Bread toast can order over the counter and you could get additional fried egg, luncheon meat over the self service counter to make your own customized sandwich.

This has to be the worst food I had in KK, Sabah. The chicken tastes really salty and the rice is bland even it look thick in picture. About ABC ice, the Lychee has a sour taste to it, just like expired from a can! Table isn’t even whipped or cleaned well, self service on water. I have really bad experience here, avoid it at all cost! The only good thing about this restaurant is their system functions, & food order server has good attitude.

I think some visitors to here need to wind their necks in a little complaining about staff. The staff are lovely beautiful people and some even can hold a tune singing haha. So kind and helpful. This place has a great buzz, good food and drinks at really good value. Also has great WIFI. Thank you everyone for your hospitality.

Hotels can be so cold and impersonal. But the difference is always the people. Especially commending Sanipa from Cafe Boleh. She made the breakfast feel so warm and welcoming every morning, almost like we were just visiting an old friend. The restaurant can get very busy but she always took time out to bring us to our table and speak to us when she passed. We really enjoyed her company and will say she was a highlight of our trip. We hope more guests will see and appreciate her service, we can tell she does it with so much love.

Service is always Tip Top! Has been a regular for so many years. Lainang, Sanipa, Azmi, Harold, Mizan, Beth and Saniza is the most memorable and attentive crew! Unfortunately tonight seafood is not to my favour. Even so, the braised seafood soup, prawn noodles, salmon fried rice is the main highlight.

We had a wonderful dinner experience at this outlet restaurant. The food was not only good but absolutely delicious, with every dish served fresh and full of flavor. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Great service and great food—highly recommended!

The food spread is good, lots of fresh seafood. I love the pasta (arabiatta). But the selection of desserts should be more. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. The discount given to senior citizens is also a plus point. Will definitely come back.

The buffet was amazing, although the food was replenished a bit late. We arrived at 6:45 PM, and there weren't many people there. Iqmal served us very efficiently, and Sanipa was incredibly friendly. But what truly sets Café Boleh apart is the exceptional service. Just yesterday, I noticed that pineapples, one of my favorite fruits usually served at the breakfast buffet, weren’t on display. The place was packed around 7pm on a weekday, but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was prompt. Typical loud and slightly chaotic vibes of a Cantonese eatery. My favourite dish was the steamed prawns - fresh, plump, and juicy. The portions were bigger than we expected, and we couldn't finish the food. Seemed like a popular place with both locals and foreigners.

This is another restaurant that is reasonably good and worth trying.Yet not easy to find parking spots.The restaurant is always full and waiting line is long.The staff is so helpful to find us a table. We ordered quite a number of dishes. The Egg Salted & Lotus Pau were so delicious and tasty. The dumplings were so delicious and big worth the price. The yam was so delicious too. We love the beverages too. Lots of menu to choose.

This is another restaurant that is reasonably good. Our group ordered quite a number of dishes. The venison was tasty and tender. The fish was also nice. The vegetable dish was great. The yam dish was also good and so was the tofu. The pork dish was interesting. We couldn't make out that it was pork.

Dim sum tasted ok but could be better. Some dim sum are quite salty to my taste.

June 2025 We were so excited to be able to grab some DimSum Togo in KK before our departure. This restaurant was really busy when we arrived. Looks like a great place for DimSum for local. Our DimSum selections were delicious especially on our flight back to Kuching. We love to revisit and enjoy our meal dining in. Highly recommend.

The food was nice. Just that their service was kind of bad when preparing add-on dishes. We waited for more than 30 mins but the dished never arrive.

From the moment we walked in, the staff found us a table immediately even though the place was quite full. Menus were on the table & within less than a minute after we decided, they stack the steaming hot dimsums in front of us. The pork siu mai & har gow prawn fillings were fresh & succulent. We ordered another round.

We came here for drinks and cakes after dinner on a Wednesday night. There is some kind of offer everyday it seems, and on Wednesday it's 25% off all food and beverages. Supposedly some sort of ladies night offer, but not sure how strict they are with that requirement. My favourite drink in CBTL is the hot mocha, so we ordered large ones. Tried a cheesecake and muffin. Taste is good. The condition of the toilets can be improved, probably better to keep it dry than leaving it wet. There was also a fly that kept hovering around our table, so overall cleanliness can be improved as well, perhaps. Hopefully more effort can be put in to make this CBTL even better. There is potential for it to be a flagship store, rather than just being the best by virtue of being the only one. Recommended, especially since it's the only CBTL around here in KK, and I greatly prefer the taste of CBTL over Starbucks.

The chicken lasagna was 10 out of 10 worse rate. Was disappointed as it tasted awful like expired frozen food. Somemore similar like Can food for pet. Please improve your food quality.

Nice environment. Always come here for breakfast with free flow of coffee till 11am. Comfortable atmosphere, suitable for chilling and doing work. My favorite is Eggs Benedict, but i wish they made the eggs less done and more runny though. 😄 Only thing to worry about is the parking spots. If you arrive before 9am, parking is still available. After 9am, its gets a bit difficult to get a spot nearby.

I came 10.28pm.i want to take away hot latte and buy few cake.but this barista or waiter with face like stone eye name Bryan said ‘’boss kami close sudah’’then i said not 11pm yet,but he said,ya we want to close now.we always close 10pm if no customer.i said I google this shop close only 11pm,he said again ya boss we want to close now. Quite disappointed with the Lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese. The Lasagna is bland. The staff told us that's how it tastes like. The free tea was basically iced plain water but it's free kan. Can't say much. Anyway, the staff is okay. Quite friendly.

Tbh the drinks are very good, the chairs are veryyy comfortable, it’s just the other half of cafe smells like toilet (seriously bad toilet smell)… maybe can install a door there? And another half is quite hot with no proper ac, maybe it’s just me?

Goon environment, friendly staff. Socket available for laptop users. Love the breakfast buffet with a panoramic ocean view! There are 2 espresso machines, they used dark roast Italian coffee beans. Coffee aficionados will not be disappointed. There is an omelet station as well as a noodle soup station as well where you can customize your omelet or noodle soup. There are congee or porridge, nasi lemak, char kweu teo, baked beans, braised tofu, beef, chicken sausage, veggies, salad, fruits, various bread, juice s, cereal, roti and curry. Staff does a good job refilling food, but you can also let the staff know as well. The staff will be happy to accommodate most requests. The restroom is very clean. The staff does a great job cleaning up dishes. I wished there were napkins available, so I ended up having to ask the friendly staff to get some since I could not find any readily available. There is also hot water, hot soy milk, freshly brewed coffee and tea for hot beverages. For cold beverages there is pink guava juice and calamansi juices. The fruit options change all the time, I have seen pineapple, papaya, watermelon and honey dew melon.

Grandis' Rojaklicious with less fruits but enough to cover my iron for the day. Worth to order from GrabFood which is only RM6.00++. Less spice more to its sweetness and saltiness but I finished it anyway. The replica of original Rojak Buah that you can give a try ^;^

I had a bad experience over lunch. I ordered penne bolognese pasta and it tasted sour (asam jawa / apple cider kinda sour taste). So, I asked the waiters and one of them came back n said it is sour due to the tomato puree and it’s okay they will make a new one for me (I didn’t ask for it I just wanted to know if it is supposed to be sour). Then came the ‘amended’ one, even from the presentation u can see it’s like a bowl of pasta soup and taste like sardine soup pasta 😩 so disappointed. In my opinion, it doesn’t match hotel standard pasta. I will share the before and after pasta.

Spent RM88 per pax for their buffet. Lousiest buffet I've ever eaten. Food are cold. Black bean fish & grilled fish makes my lips itchy. Chicken (rice) hard and cold. When I reach home 3 hours later, I have a bout of diarrhoea. Either close Rosea Cafe or improve your buffet quality.

Food was good. Manager on duty was very kind and know how to handle with every "in-house guest request". But, throughout my 3D2N stay in Grandis Hotel, I've found out that there are a few of your Rosea Cafe staff that did not showcasing a good hospitality to their guest (still remember her name). As for example, for egg station. I did ordered scrambled egg as well as omlette. But what I have is a very terrible look and taste of it. Consecutively for 3 mornings, I've seen the same person in charge for the same station. I dont know. But this is based on my own verdict. No consistency at all. But, the rest of the team are ok. Especially manager in charge (is a guy).

A friend recommended earlier that the braised pork offal dry noodles from this place were the best she's ever had. Today I tried it, and it definitely lives up to the reputation! The braising ingredients are rich... but it tastes fatty without being greasy. The pork offal is incredibly delicious.

Located at Tanjung Aru shop. Is a Non-Halal old chinese coffee shop. It's been around for long time, even during my childhood, the coffee shop already been there. Always been crowded and have long queue. Their signature food is the braised stew pork innards served with their white konlou noodle. One need patience for the order food to be served, some time you'll only have your food after waiting for 30 - 40 minutes. So far, they're the oldest to served braised stew pork innards with white noodle. Taste very traditional, never disappoint you & can't be replace. Come early, or you'll disappoint as their food selling fast. Sometimes, their food selling out as early as 10-11am. Hygiene/cleanliness still can be improved.

RM11 iirc. The zhu zap gan lao nian noodle is the signature dish at this Kopitiam & for good reason - it's very delish. It was crowded w most seats taken at 11am on a weekday. The noodles are a bit too limp but the gravy was plentiful and the mixed pork intestines, skin, heart, lungs etc was yumz w adequate portions too. The soup is v bland and the lada is mildly spicy. I recommend dining in bcuz by the time you tapau home the gravy will all be seeped into the noodles making it less tasty, more limpy and quite dry. Maybe ask for extra gravy if they allow. Can opt to sit outside near the corners on a cloudy day as the view is quite soothing on the eyes.

Absolutely loved my dining experience at Restoran Sempelang Asia City! The seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful. The chili crab and butter prawns were highlights. The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy. Perfect spot for a family dinner or a casual night out with friends. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes. Will definitely be back!

I came here for lunch. The place has plenty of choices from readily cooked dishes and those prepared upon order. They also have fresh seafood which can be cooked to your liking (the choices are limited tho). The restaurant is clean, and the staff are nice and friendly.

A simple food shop, you can either choose from the preset menu or customise Ur toppings. Reasonably priced and very tasty beef broth. Don't expect and vegs for this type of beef noodle ya. Would come back again, if I ever come to KK again

My sis recommended me to try their Ngiu Chap here, but when I arrived, I noticed they had Tomyam Ngiu Chap 😋. Since I’d never tried it before, I decided to give it a go—and wow, it was truly TOMYAM KAW KAW 🤤. The broth was spicy yet so full of flavor, the kind that makes you keep eating even while sweating 😂. Definitely worth it! Can’t wait to try their original Ngiu Chap next time.

My favourite Ngiu Chap in KK. The Ngiu chap and combination their signature chili is perfect match . Besides Ngiu chap , that also selling fish slice noodle soup. Dining area is big and spacious. Plenty parking space at basement with reasonable rates. Highly recommended

The beef soup is a bit plan but the meat is really soft and tender welly cooked,I would give it just a 7/10 as I like the soup to be richer, the Kon Lau Mee is quite got 8/10, the blend cili I didn't like it 3/10. Overall not a bad place to have ngau chap

Strongly recommend to try! The soup is clear but the taste is packed with a punch, totally unassuming from the look of it but was so good. Ordering is easy and seated at sheltered mall with fan, so quite cooling.

If you like dim sum, you’d be crazy not to visit this restaurant. It’s a busy place .. most of the time, you’ll need to take a number and queue, unless you arrive very early. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the menu is extensive. Prices are reasonable. As for the dim sum .. it was absolutely terrific. My personal favorites: the Shao Mai King, Xia Jiao, Chicken Feet, and Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce. I simply can’t resist ordering them every time I visit. Of course, there are so many other tempting options on the menu .. I’ll definitely be coming back to try them all.

Great variety of dim sum with fresh and flavorful options like crispy taro puff, siu mai, and lo ma gai. Service was efficient and food came out hot. Only letdown was the char siew bao, which was a bit soggy and lacked the fluffy texture expected

One of the best place to eat dimsum, clean and has two choice of ambiance(outdoor dining non-air condition and air conditioned indoor). However service still has room for improvements and dimsum is slightly pricey, portions are okay. Overcrowded during weekends. Come and dine here on week days, easier to get parking.

Dim sum restaurant in KK. Big restaurant and many table for you. They serve your variety of Dim sum and pricey. Food quality and test are okay but not clear supervisor difference than others. Atmosphere is the best, good decorations and clean. Just one is no parking, only road side parking.

The food is somewhat moderate, there's alot places in KK surely outdone this place. Not only that, the service here is terrible, majority of the staffs are unreactive and not friendly. To the extend, "rude". I hope they will take actions on this matter.

The dim sum here is incredible. I am from Ipoh n I have to say the dim sum dishes rivals that of MingCourt. Highly recommended!

By far, the tastiest raw meat noodle soup I have ever had in KK. Soup is not too salty and smells fragrant. I will come again.

Typical Sabahan's Kolo Mee or Mee Soup. Pork soup base with 3 different choice noodle. Thin slice pork meat or with innards in the soup. The noodle is springy and soft with thick soy sauce cover with pork lard. Portion is reasonable equal to price. The dish taste is on par and no complaint. The chilli could be better, do not just add vineger to safe cost on chilli. But keep up the good work and quality. Memang non halal place. Almost every where in KK have this dish. A plus point the food is still consistence.

As you can see from the pictures itself explained how hygienic this restaurant is. A FLY IN A SOUP. I hope the restaurant owner takes action. Me & my girlfriend had severe food poisoning for 3-4 days and vomit several times. I am experiencing stomach ache as I am writing this review right now. I hope the restaurant owner takes this very seriously. Smiling, apologizing & not charging for the bills is not enough. Corrective measures is needed to be taken. I hope future customers do not get affected by this. I'm raising this issue not to cause drama or ruin someone's business but this should serve as an example that such things should not happened at any restaurant. This is not acceptable even if you are a regular mamak stall, kopitiam, 5 star restaurant, hygiene & food safety should be the priority. Have a good day.

Im having my morning breakfast here during vacation and their Sang Nyuk mee is the best so far in Kk. The shop is clean and their staff also helpful in selection of menu.

Only went because there’s not enough cafes in Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Tasteless, lack of effort pastries and sandwiches. They went all out with frozen pastry here. Go for the muffins, you can’t go wrong with muffins.

Looks like this place needs some staff improvements. Convenient location with a good selection of pastries, pies, and cakes. The downside is that prices are above average and not many places to sit. But if you're in a rush, then this is good. And if you're taking Malaysian Airlines, you better eat here because the food here is much better than in the plane. Seriously.

Typical airport F&B outlet for a quick bite. A selection of pastries like muffins, pies, croissants, danish, and puffs. I had the Roti Bakar special which is kaya butter toast (don't expect kopitiam standard) with teh tarik (instant).

I hate this place so much. Why? My wife and I ordered the apple pie and red velvet cake. Both were good but their taste were so-so. Hwever, one of the staff here is really bad. She literally slammed the plate when she served us the pie and the cake. She spoke in a very rude manner to us. Definitely worst experience having our light snacks here. Do not go here! Good food choices but customer service is slow. Their one working cashier for order AND pay is just not working for they are a lots of tables. They better bring back waiters taking order at the tables as some customers like to ask a lot of questions and taking so long to order. Ordered Kopi Tarik Madras which is good and chichken porridge. The porridge could use more veggies like spring onion and toppings. It is empty as the void in my heart.

Have been more than a couple of times due to it’s location convenience from my work place and cause it’s spacious and somewhat comfortable environment. Price is on the expensive side and frankly speaking the quality of the food is below average. Ordered the Ayam bakar with rice today and the chicken was undercooked with blood. I waited for 30 minutes for my food to be served only to receive raw food. They then took it back to fry it again and served it back to me. I was expecting a totally new dish. Price was RM17.90.

Not bad at all for a quick fix. Lai Chee kang was surprisingly nice, not sweet with generous ingredients. Tuaran mee was good despite tasting the msg. Large portion. Didn’t try the drinks because they are in single-use plastics. Please provide dine in customers cups and glasses to be more sustainable.

I was having a takeaway breakfast from here and honestly felt quite disappointed. The portion of noodles was very small considering the price. Compared to Fook Yuan, they give more noodles for a lower price. The chicken wings were also quite small and pricey — Fook Yuan’s chicken wings are much bigger and more worth it. With this kind of value, I might not come back again, especially since Fook Yuan is just nearby.

Foods and drinks are excellent. Lets talk about the atmosphere: it feels cosy, really like those regular coffeeshop, only with aircond. But again similar with regular coffeeshop, if its loud, the it will be loud. Service is quite good. The staff are friendly.

The only plus point to the restaurant is the environment which is air conditioned, otherwise food and service are really terrible 1. Seafood fish sauce meehoon, only given w 1 prawn and 2 slices of fish, the other 2, just look at the picture 2. Services, food arrived but no utensils to eat, have to go to the counter to ask for it Came around 1:40pm. Total waiting time about 25 minutes for 3 plates of food when there are not many people at that hour.

A local cafe that supports Ranau farmers. They can make a pretty mean and strong coffee.

An established healthy food provider located at an unassuming location at the city stadium. Despite the cafeteria style layout for dine in, the environment is cooling and clean. Their extensive menu with an emphasis to macro tracking is a plus. The ingredients and taste of food is decent for the price point. Love their limited edition homemade protein products - sausages, patties, marinated meats, and even popcorn. Also one of the more active contributors to the fitness scene in the city. The brand name is not foreign for fitness folk from bodybuilders to athletes. They do drizzle some dressing (mayo, thousand island) on some menu items, better ask to omit or separate for those fussy with their calories. Definitely a community favourite for good reason.

Clearly mentioned healthy, so with generous portions of poultry (follow the calories), less sodium, chargeable gravy and vegetables at moderate price for health concern customers this is one of my choice of Vendor, that's what I've experienced everytime I ordered them from GrabFood BUT still, there's also option to order their other delicious and tempting dishes (from the look of it) without dieting 😋 that's my honest review thank you 😊

The food and service was undeniably excellent. Only the birds namely "tekukur" was not expected. Fortunately,the birds don't disturb the customer enjoying their meals. But, once they left the birds take over and eat the remaining food which is a bit uncomfortable and gross to look at.

Been a regular with @myfitsmeal for daily lunch and its the best decision! Portions are perfect, keeps me full and energised all day without feeling heavy. Highly recommended

Local people said the dim sum wasnice. After try.. Ya, the portions was big but taste not really certified. This restaurant need to share table with people , it will interrupted customers dim sum mood. Compare to others dim sum in KK. Only so so...

Would have rated better had the service was there. We waited for a long time for our food, and those who came after us were enjoying their meals whilst we languishing for ours. There were hardly and service or interaction from the staffs. The decor and setup was pleasant and gave atmospheric ambience. Prices were slightly higher but the Cantonese style was a great change to our palette after those fantastic Malaysian food we had. Attached photos were for the "large" size ordered

The deep-fried whole pork trotter left much to be desired - it was hard, chewy, and disappointingly dry, with the skin lacking that crispiness. On the brighter side, the eggplant and long beans with minced meat were a delight, offering a burst of delicious flavors. The prawns in special dark soy sauce were decent, nothing special. Similarly, the yam ring with mixed vegetables and chicken and the crispy deep-fried chicken were average in taste. One major drawback was the bustling and noisy atmosphere, and unfortunately, the service was slow and rather disappointing.

Overall: 4/5 Dim sum on average comes to rm9 n above which can be considered high but find me a dim sum where its any cheaper. So it basically boils down to who cooks the better dim sum n dis plc falls short. Chicken feet was below average for me n the deep fried yam roll was the worst being over cooked with burnt taste n very little to no yam at all but other than that all the other dishes that we had was ok. Fully ac, no issue with parking n environment friendly enuf but I didn’t like the plastic that thy put on the table. Dim sum wise an acceptable place but will not b my first choice n therefore will not eat dim sum here again.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the [dish name], and the service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and cozy. Perfect place for a casual meal or small gathering. Highly recommend!

Cake was like a jelly. Assumed that it wasn’t fresh. The Biscoff was even cut in half. And it was not crunch like a real biscoff. Because it was left in the air for a long time. “Masuk angin”. The taste was mid. The price was overpriced. Fruit tea was mid. Nice. Maybe too sweet for my liking. Service was fast. Atmosphere was calm and quiet since there weren’t any people. Just 2 tables were occupied including mine. But these two, I spent over RM35. Just 2 menu.

It was my first time dining here and trying out Daily Coffee. Waited for our food for half an hour. The table next to us was served first even though we came and ordered earlier than them. Waiter kept saying sorry after we asked when could we get our food. I ordered chicken chop with brown sauce but was served black pepper sauce. I had asked the waiter earlier if it was brown sauce and he said yes. But apparently, it was black pepper sauce when I tasted it. I was already frustrated of waiting for the food and didn't bother to ask for the sauce that I wanted anymore. Please improve your service.

I placed my order at 8:32 PM, but it was only served at 9:07 PM. Why did it take so long? This place used to be my favorite, but now the atmosphere is noisy and the dirty tables are not being cleaned.

Having a breakfast here, interior design and atmosphere was good, a lot of photo-friendly area to catch a nice shoot. The signature Belgium chocolate drink is superb nice, recommend to try their chocolate drink . The breakfast set tasted good especially the butter mushroom sides. Not forgetting to mention that the muffins, they were soft and moist enough, taste good even take away. They offer a good variety of option for food and drinks, definitely worth a revisit.

The ambiance is nice, and I must give them credit for putting effort into creating an Instagrammable space. However, when it comes to the taste of the food, it's rather mediocre. Nothing really stands out that makes me eager to plan my next visit. Essentially, it feels like I'm paying more for the lifestyle and aesthetics rather than the culinary experience. 💁‍♂️

Place is great. But if you’re eating upstairs u gotta order downstairs. In terms of food the waffle is 3/5 as it is extremely sweet and soggy and they didn’t burn the marshmallow which I believe they shoulddd like in the menu. Tuna sandwich is quite good so that’s a 4/5. Green tea frappe is perfect so 5/5!!

A lovely breakfast experience here. The staff is kind and the food is nice. My fried rice with chicken and sambal was delicious, and the coffee we had was on par with the ones we have back in Melbourne. The ambience of the café is super relaxing – a wonderful place to be to start your day. My favourite cafe! The teriyaki chicken rice here is so good. The ambience here is really nice. Quite a hidden haven, and it’s not crowded. The staff is very friendly and nice. I enjoy the atmosphere a lot 🥰

This is a quiet cafe with a lot of parking space. They serve coffee, frappe, and non-coffee drinks. They do serve food as well like croissants and sandwiches. The hungry customer can order the big breakfast. They also cater to groups. Our group had nasi lemak. The fried ikan bilis was crispy and the sambal was good.

A cafe tucked away on a church compound at Likas. Quiet and clean if you want to chat with friends or family. Semi self service. Ordered at counter and food will be delivered. ORDERED....... 1. Big Breakfast with Scramble Eggs (Your have choice of Sunny Side if you prefer). Cheese sausage, sauteed mushroom and eggs cook and seasoned nicely. Another slice of bacon would be nice. Verdict - 4.5/5 2. Hunter Steak. They didnt asked for the "doneness" of the steak. But it was cooked to well done, which made the meat a bit tough. Expecting sauteed vegies, but salad was served. Anyways, the seasoning just nice. But for the price cant complain much. Verdict - 3.5/5 3. Matcha Frappe. Initially wanted to order Latte, but was informed by the staff that the milk is not that fresh. Well done. At least they are honest upfront. Verdict - 4/5 This should be the attitude of food operator. If items not fresh or available, tell the patron upfront. It will be much appreciated rather than when the food is not up to par you want to defend when people complain.

This place is quite cozy, and has a warm ambience to the place. I quite enjoy the wooden look. The food and drinks are quite limited but it's sufficient. I would recommend the Shaking Beef with Rice. It came out tender and juicy. Could be eaten as a snack or side dish without the rice. The drinks are pretty normal. I would return to enjoy spending time out whether to study or work because it is quiet and have a pretty good view. Nice place to just hangout with friends too.

Good environment and good lighting. Interior is very clean and modern. Price range from rm2x to rm4x. Spaghetti and lasagna were salty but I like their drinks. The beef stew was tasty. Hope they will improve their food and I would like to go back again.

First time here though it's only next door from our condo. Nice environment. Love the ice cream. Didn't try heavy meals since we already had lunch. Will definitely return again.
