There are so many delicious options to choose from. Though it was a bit crowded, everything was well-organized. The self-service setup with microwaves to heat your food is a great touch. The food is simply delicious. We especially enjoyed the cakes and the Biryani, which was perfectly up to the mark. Even the chili pork added a delicious kick. It was a wonderful dining experience, and we ate very well there enjoying the view.The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. While the prices are a bit higher than other local spots, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. It’s an essential stop for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Underground: is a bar that holds parties and music Ground floor: is the bakery and the Veranda holds amusing view of the hills and it's magnificent First floor: it is a resturant that offers love band and music shows. The food and the bakery are just amusing and a highly recommended for english food lovers.

The restaurant has splendid interiors and spacious seating both indoors and outdoors with lovely views views. I'm telling you briefly I've been there quite a lot times, their food's tastes absolutely fantastic. They are very consistent when it is about the taste, just perfect. Great place to have a quick bite . More famous for breakfast I guess. We grabbed lunch and it was all empty . Veg options are limited but i had the veg burger which was good , my son had chicken nuggets which more like fried frozen ones. My husband had a chicken burger which was pretty average as well . Overall great place to chill !

One of the most overhyped places in Darjeeling mall road. I visited this is place a couple of time, but the last time was bit disappointed. Every food in the pork platter was bit deep fried, wasn't suppose to be that deep fried. The ambience was too good, the view was mesmerizing ♥️

cute place with a western crowd. little pricier than some of the other local places but a good meal nevertheless, owner couple seemed very sweet. only reason i’m taking one star away is the price and the fact that i’m usually full and satisfied for a long time after having porridge but ended up still being hungry and getting samosas after this one! taste was good though.

A pretty cute food outlet with limited seating arrangement has been serving great hospitality for around 20 years. The foods served here are simple but tasty. The hash brown is their main attraction and it tastes great with their special cheese. The toast is toasted in a crispy way and it matches perfectly with scrambled egg and butter. The coffee was also strong and stimulates the taste buds. In a nutshell, they serve good food and overcome their shortfalls with their hearty and warm behavior.

Thanks to the energetic owner, I had a cheerful and enjoyable meal. I was lucky to arrive when it wasn’t busy, so my food came out fairly quickly. However, please note that the owner handles both the kitchen and the front of house alone, so there might be some wait during peak hours. The toasted bread served with the breakfast was especially delicious. But the true highlight here is the Darjeeling tea. make sure to give it a try! The aroma is incredibly rich and the balance is unlike anything I’ve had before.

We went here at the time closing at lunch hour. Loved the has browns. The pancakes were also great. The portions were big, plate of hashbrowns with eggs and toast, along with pancakes was more than enough for 2 people

If you're into Starbucks, and fancy joints, read no. further. This unassuming place is off the governor's house, on the road. It seats 36 people, including outdoor and indoor tables. Their momo is superb, so is the Darjeeling tea. Price point is extremely reasonable. The view from the outdoor seating area is breathtaking. And there are cats.

Probably the best vegetarian momos in Darjeeling. They’re juicy, and the chutney is spicy - makes for a great combination. Frequented by school kids, which should also tell you about its VFM. They serve both steamed and fried momos. Outside and indoor seating are both available, and if the weather is favourable you can get a good view of the mountains. Check out this place after a visit to the zoo and HMI, both of which are at a walking distance.

This place is very close to my heart. Every time I visit darjeeling I must visit this place. Aunty is very much polite and soft spoken to us always. Momos here is a must try.

This is a small but an outstanding cafe on the way to the zoo to spend time and relax. Here we got the authentic flavor of Darjeeling tea and momos and the soup was delicious. We enjoyed 'B for T' a millet beer served in a bamboo glass with a bamboo pipe. Also the owners of the cafe were very courteous.

Awesome cafe. The old lady there was too sweet and the taste is marvelous with just a simple lower price. We took black coffe, tea, pancake with honey Thukpa and chow wai wai. The wai and pancake was just yum being homemade. This place has a nice scenario available as well.

We visited twice for dinner during our trip to Darjeeling, and the food was absolutely amazing. What really impressed me was the dosa – it was incredibly flavorful and definitely worth recommending. We tried momos, masala dosa, plain onion dosa, tupka, bonda soup, and idli – all of them were delicious! The restaurant is located on the first floor, and the staff is friendly. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant located near mall road and I would recommend this restaurant for vegetarians especially. We ordered masala dosa, chopsuey, veg chowmein and the taste was okayish. Well the pure vegetarian restaurants are very few in number and it becomes difficult to find the restaurant too . Therefore this restaurant can be visited and I hope you enjoy their meals. The worst restaurant I have seen in darjeeling. Rude behavior of staff with very much attitude and ego. All reviews are fake. My family had gone 3 to 4 times and last time we gone I asked for lemom and the manager said we will not give rudely. We had lunch at Lunar restaurant couple of days back . I must say it is one of the best food we had in recent times ..paneer pulao was super tasty and so was chowmein and other food we ordered. A big thanks to Bandhan for taking good care of us and serving us yummy food .

Very good food and nice service. Butter masala kulcha and paneer tikka butter masala were awesome. Gobi manchurian dough was a little hard to chew. Otherwise, all items were good.

If you are going towards Darjeeling, this is a well known place. The view from this place is just outstanding. But you have to have at least 2-3 hrs for the dine in. The waiting here alone is more than 1 hrs during busy times. The food was okay okay. We ordered hot chocolate which was not up to the standard. The chicken hotdog was not that good also...very rubbery feeling. And the pan cake was downright uncooked properly and was very hard. And everything was very very expensive. Overall if you want to visit there mostly for the breathtaking view then go for it! But don't expect too much from the food itself.

I had heard a lot about the place having excellent view and it really does. The view is amazing and especially witnessing the sunset feels really good with a cup of hot darjeeling tea. However, that is the only good thing there. We ordered two pots of tea along with one French fries and a chicken sandwich. God knows what was the problem they faced with this simple order, but we weren't served the food till 30-40 mins after the order. While the ones who joined at the same time as us were served on time. The tea was served but not the food. We had to eventually ask them to cancel and they immediately cancelled without any second question. As if they were waiting to cancel the order. So my recommendation would be go for the view and tea but good luck with food.

A fantastic cafe located on the mountainside offering great food at a reasonable price and fantastic views of rolling hills and tea gardens. The cafe is located right on the main road and one can also catch a glimpse of the toy train from here. It offers a vibe of the colonial era and is aptly decorated. The staff are very professional and polite and service is quick. The food quality is awesome and portion size is a bit small but the pricing is very reasonable. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained. Only drawback is sometimes people have to wait outside to get seats. Highly recommend the Chicken Imperial, Pork Sausage, Bacon and Hot Chocolate.

In the early 20th century, the estate was managed by Mr. Cruickshank, whose daughter, Margaret, fell deeply in love with the beauty of the land and promised to return. Tragically, she passed away on her journey back. In a heartfelt tribute, the estate was renamed "Margaret's Hope," ensuring her memory lived on amidst the rolling hills and tea gardens. Margaret's Deck is a must-visit destination in Darjeeling, offering the best views of the tea gardens and a stunning sunset. I highly recommend visiting at sunset—the experience is absolutely worth it. Menu Recommendations: Carrot Cake: Rs. 60 Hot Chocolate: Rs. 150 Apple Walnut Cake: Rs. 70 Pork Sausages: Rs. 170 Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Rs. 250 The cakes had an authentic, homemade feel with mild, delightful flavors. The pork sausages were wonderfully smoky, and the grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. While the portions were on the smaller side—only four sausages and a small sandwich—the quality was impeccable. The ambiance, the breathtaking view, and the food, though a bit pricey, are well worth every penny, making this a truly memorable experience.

Nice place. Its famous in salugara for multiple food choices. I tried kachori chat and it was never seen before taste. Amazing quality and taste of this location m would highly recommend you to go here and try this chat. The idli sambhar was also good. Rasgulla is also famous and it was very soft. They have dry and wet rasgulla options. You can try as per your taste. Really amazing 4/5 for taste 4/5 for cleanliness 4/5 for staff

Most snack items were unavailable during our visit, and the service was quite slow. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was just average. However, a few sweets stood out—especially the Kanpuri Laddu, which is worth a try. Overall, the place feels a bit overrated, but it's still worth visiting at least once to decide for yourself.

A variety of eats ( momo, sandwich, fried rice, brownies, noodles, etc) served.People belonging to all age group flock the restaurant. Go for the delicious hot chocolate walnut brownie, it’s yummy! Black coffee was strong and good! The service was good. The noodles portion served is good enough for two. Locals and tourists both visit the restaurant and none would be dissatisfied or disappointed with their service and food. A thriving local business backed by quality.

We were looking for a place to have evening tea in Bidhan Market when a passerby suggested we try Netaji Cabin. This place carries its own history and has that old-school vibe. As usual, we climbed up the narrow wooden stairs to the first floor and placed a simple order — two bread toasts and two regular milk teas ☕. The toast was fine, but the tea was a big disappointment 🥶. It was overpriced and the taste was nowhere near worth it. After just two sips, we left it unfinished. Honestly, our first experience here wasn’t good at all, and it didn’t live up to the hype.

Netaji Cabin in Siliguri is an iconic spot known for its heritage and old-world charm. I had heard a lot about its historical significance and reputation as a local institution , and are totally undeniable, but the hygiene standards leave much to be desired. The food has a certain nostalgic appeal, the smiling and ever cheerful staff makes you smile but the cleanliness of the premises and could be significantly improved. Despite its heritage status, the awards , the lack of proper upkeep detracts from the overall experience. It’s worth a visit for the history and local flavor, but not if hygiene is a top priority.

A heritage eatery inside the Hongkong Market of Siliguri. I visited there and tried out Butter Toast, Coffee & Two Boiled Eggs. The taste of the toast was good, because it's made from good quality butter. The eggs were normal in taste and the coffee was on the bitter side, served in a glass. The restaurant is a bit cramped up due to lack of space. However, they do have another floor upstairs to accommodate more people. Overall, it's a decent breakfast restaurant.💙

The worst Chai I ever had. I had high expectations for Netaji Cabin, but sadly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was average at best, lacking the authentic flavors I was hoping for. Though the ambiance gave the vintage look but it didn’t feel worth the price. I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it .

Cozy neat and clean rooms with all amenities. Even a bed heater is present. They have a very pretty restaurant in the hotel as well. Since hotel is present at the basement there are a a lot of stairs which will be a problem for the elderly people but manageable for youngsters. Darjeeling mall is just 5 mins walking from the hotel. Overall had a very nice stay.

Golden otchid located on narrow roads, diffucult to reach . Vehicles not permitted to reach hotel. Very pathetic service, intercom not working, TV not working, no person available at reception at even 8 am , minor thins like tea pouches, soap etc not provided. Don't even think of staying there

It is a value for money stay if you want to spend more than two nights in the central area of Darjeeling. It was recommended to me by a friend who had earlier travelled solo.

I had dinner at this Resturant with family, it is very crowded when we reached due to popularity and also due to affordability the Resturant is fully packed. We have wait 30 minutes for getting a seat and any 15 mins for food. We have ordered 2 chicken thali and fish thali. I must say the Resturant serves food well hot and good portion for veg thali. But if you want to hove non veg then it may not be of liking as per the popularity the Resturant is not up to the mark on our expectations. The menu is quite pocket friendly then other Resturant in the vicinity. I would suggest if you want to have food here you much go abit early to get a sit to enjoy the meal with family. If you like quite dinning place you could search for other Resturant.

Price is reasonable. Taste is okay type...not bad, but nothing extraordinary. But, the restaurant generally has a long queue, specially in peak tourist season. So you should take enough time in your hand to get in to the restaurant. Due to overcrowding sometimes service gets delayed. Overall, you can try this restaurant when you visit Darjeeling.

By seeing the reviews we thought the food would be good, but we were disappointed. The taste was ok okish, we tried tocal talli. The atmosphere is not that great and it's a bit untidy, maintenance and service should be improved a lot. The prices are fine but we were not satisfied with the food. I would not recommend this place and we have a lot of good restaurants nearby.

We visited there for lunch and I have to say that every item on the thali was great! The price is also reasonable. If you are missing the bengali মাছ - ভাত or any other bengali dish i highly recommend visiting here! Happy fooding 😃

Over the span of three days, we dined multiple times at Mahakal Restaurant and tried a wide variety of dishes including egg thali, veg thali, chicken bharta, dal makhani, ruti, mixed veg, chicken noodles, chilli chicken, and more. The food was absolutely delicious and consistently flavorful, showcasing authentic taste and good preparation. However, the quantity served felt a bit insufficient for the price, which was slightly higher than expected. The place is always crowded, reflecting its high demand, and it can get a bit chaotic during peak hours. Located conveniently in the main mall area, Mahakal has several other branches under its chain, which speaks to its popularity. Despite the rush and slightly premium pricing, the overall experience was satisfying, and it’s clear why this restaurant enjoys such a loyal customer base.

Well decorated, well maintained, well behaved, systematically managed all things but the best part is food is very besic quality, not up to the mark. This is my first and last time visit here. Please focus on your food quality and test. For this reason we customers are came to here.

Was recommended by the locals there. Also, the place always had a huge line be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Visited recently. We tried the Complimentary fryums, Veg thali (Bengali style), Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Biryani, Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Thukpa, Laccha Paratha. All the dishes had good presentation. Starting with the thali, no doubt it was authentic Bengali style thali, the taste was great. The Paneer Butter Masala was a bit sweet but tasted good. The Chicken Biryani looked the best but tasted average, the aroma was great but the taste was not that good. The Laccha paratha was nice. The Veg Fried rice was simple and best, but the Chicken Thukpa was great, it was in a huge quantity and was absolutely delicious. We ate at the ground floor, there is one more floor downstairs but it is preferred to eat upstairs. The ambience and atmosphere is good upstairs. The service is quick even in the rush hours. Overall, if you wanna try authentic Bengali food or good Chinese food, then you can definitely visit this place. Recommended ⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Korean bakery and restaurant in Darjeeling that is very well planned and designed. Literally every inch of the restaurant (starting from the outside) is #instagram worthy. Very spacious with big windows and comfortable seats. Prices are also very fair The only part that they need to improve is the food. Ordered the bento box which was very ordinary. While the menu provides choice of pork, chicken, beef but there is never anything except chicken. If you're not going to sell it, then please take it off the menu. Really looking forward to an improvement in the food so that it can be among the top restaurants in Darjeeling.

The place is so cool and has a really good vibe and ambience. The food is really well presented and tasty. The girl Anushree who was our server was such a sweet soul. Really good and polite.

Loved the food and the ambiance. We ordered Korean Ramen bowl, Bibimbap and bao. We were too full to try the items from the bakery. That's definitely on my bucket list for the next visit.

Visited NomNom Cafe recently, and I genuinely regret it. The service was abysmal from the moment we walked in—unwelcoming, inattentive, and downright rude. The staff kept glaring at us, whispering and laughing in our direction, which made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable. We felt more like an inconvenience than customers. Even when asked for the bill the staff unprofessionally threw it at the table. The food was just as bad. The sandwich was sloppy and falling apart, lacking any real flavor just a soggy excuse for food. The brownie was burnt and had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. To top it off, the lemonade—which should’ve been a refreshing escape—was sickeningly sweet, almost like syrup. Safe to say, we won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a decent meal with basic courtesy, look elsewhere.

The ambience and the food is very good. We tried EBI tempura sushi it was good. But rice was not sticky it could be better to use best rice for sushi Cold coffee is also good. And the staff Roman was very polite and helpful. Best service. 😍

We were attended by a peron called Bipan Thapa, he was very polite and welcoming in his approach. Just fell in love with the place and the people serving . Taste of the food was too too good.

Visited as it is shown to be a nice quiet place. But a Massive construction is going on hence lots of noise And dust everywhere will probably stay like that for another 6 months. There was Cigerrete smoke everywhere as people were freely smoking everywhere. Seems like a hangout of late school going kids and early college students who just want to smoke and drink. We asked if there was a non smoking section and were kindly informed that customers just didnt care about the tiny No Smoking sign (Size of a visiting card) placed on a wall. As the place didn't have many items on the menu the server was kind enough to ask us to try the Sushi but we didn't. We had coffee and the Affogato was nice but Mocha was drab and almost felt like drinking hersheys syrup. Maybe at one time it was a grand place because the decors were artful and almost had a bougee vibe but now even the sunroof was downright dirty but the Downside was that repairs were happening even inside the restaurant qhere people were eating hence low ratings.

I got in touch with them over the phone. Christina arranged for a small corner to celebrate my sons birthday. The restaurant is hidden all the way at the end of the road, in the basement, a little hard to find. The staff was very friendly and good at service. A little disappointed with the food. Ambience was nice and washrooms were sparkling clean. Manchow soup was not good. Pasta had a lot more vegetables than the pasta itself. And no flavor. The food needs improvement.

Its very small. Pure veg. But due to small kitchen and space hygiene is little compromised. Rate and quantity is good. It's good that They serve in thali using a paper plates, they should use dona in KATORI also. Over all good. But if you have someone believing in much hygiene and standardness , never go. You will get disappointed.

This place became a regular for me while staying in Darjeeling. It is a nice little restaurant with a few tables. They make very good and affordable north indian style vegetarian food.

Food quality is very bad. Very bad and Price is too high. Neither foods are good in test nor it's healthy. Very poor quality aata they use in roti it's bitter in the test. Dal makhani is might be 4 or 5 days old cook tried her best to hide the taste under the smell of masala. It's totally unhealthy and unhygienic food I suggest no one to go to the restaurant. Food audit should be done on an urgent basis. Also I will write to the department that they are not accepting online payment.

Sweet shop in Bagdogra. It is situated near Bagdogra Airport. You'll get all kinds of authentic bangali sweets. They will pack it properly if you are carrying it in flight. Just tell them. Mishti doi, sondesh was awesome. Samosa was delicious. Kachori was not that good. Must visit if you want to try authentic bangali sweets.

A beautiful place with more beautiful interiors and the location. It is on the way to badassia Loop where you will find the train track on the opposite side of the road and the cafe with glass walls. The food also is very good in taste and the service provided by the lady is too good. You should also order momo's as they are too amazing. Noodles are also very good but the quantity is too less for the price. Parathas also in this cafe is must try. The service is really very good. We were 10 of us and we came to suddenly but they were very good with providing the food with good taste.

Nice place to stop by, specially if you need a top up on your Ather scooter. Food is delicious, a bit pricey but the ambience and the view from the cafe is really great.

After eating here me and my companion suffered got severe food poisoning with symptoms like headaches, stomach cramps, and vomiting, leaving us bedridden for over a day. The food was clearly contaminated or mishandled, showing a shocking lack of basic safety protocols. Unless they make significant changes, I'd strongly advise against eating here - the risk to your health isn't worth it.

We hoped in at this place one fine afternoon, and I'm so amazed by the hospitality of the owner, inspite of renovation going on they offered us best foods and made us so comfortable. The rooftop view and Darjeeling tea was perfect combination , the chicken sandwich was worth the taste. It's so beautiful. The location is 5/5 and immense potential to be top one, moreover the owner and her sister are humble and kind hearted persons. If I ever visit Darjeeling I would be having tea here at the roof with view of kanchanjunga. Thank you.

The view from my room was like a dream. Kanchenjunga, toy train, valley. Delicious food, A vibrant cafe to hangout.. clean rooms.. and last but not the least staff is very polite and always ready for any help they can offer.. I strongly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Darjeeling.

I took Chicken Chowmein for my dinner, and its was tasteless the amt of chicken given in the noodle was bare minimum. Not good, until and unless it's late night and you find no other restaurants open then eat here or else I can't find any other reason for dine in here.

I would visit this place when I came to Silliguri but this time this place has VERY much let down my expectations. I liked the food taste, Quality and Quantity. The only think that i didn't like is the behaviour of the staff, who was more concern in making us leave the hotel rather then serving. He did ask him that we will take 15 to 20 mins so that we can finish a google meet while having the breakfast that we ordered but no he was that rigid that " no have food and leave". We even said that we will pay for the time and even order more food.

The place is 4 min walk from tenzing Norgay Bus stand. We visited this place by looking at it's great reviews on google on the month of April. The food is delicious here and the service is not so fast but reasonable enough. This is because the food is prepared fresh. The pricing of food is very reasonable. The quantity of main courses is enough for two people. We had plain tawa rotis, lachha paratha, yellow dal fry and mushroom matar. The managers were keen enough to listen to my opinion of their place and what improvements I will love to have. The place isn't air-conditioned but is airy enough to eat. Will visit again.

Great place to have great Tibetan food. Place is behind the Mirik tourist rest house. We found the restaurant using google map. Had a bowl of thukpa which was really awesome in taste and quantity. A cosy, quiet place to hang out in crowded Mirik, Darjeeling.

We discovered it while wandering in darjeeling as our toy train was late. We ordered coffee and coleslaw sandwich that tasted very good. Everyone should visit this cafe when in darjeeling.
