Glenary's— Bakery, Restaurant & Pub is a renowned establishment in Darjeeling that offers a diverse range of Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. Situated in a vintage rooftop setting with picturesque city views, it provides an immersive dining experience. The eatery is known for its delectable offerings such as Shepherds Pie and expertly crafted cocktails like the Bloody Mary.
Darjeeling Glenanries is a delightful café that perfectly blends cozy charm with breathtaking views. The breakfast menu offers fresh and flavorful options, making it an ideal spot to start your day. Their bakery selection is a highlight, cupcakes are moist and beautifully decorated, brownies are rich and indulgent, and other pastries are equally tempting. Complemented by well-brewed coffee and a warm, inviting ambiance, Glenanries is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy both hearty breakfast and sweet treats in Darjeeling.

*Since 1885 ( 149 years of legacy) * Open air sitting with amazing view * 3 floors : Basement pub, ground bakery and first restaurant, each with an unique charm. Above statements summarises thelis establishment which stood the test of time. Oh wait. I must say test of centuries of time. In the bakery section, you need to take a basket, pick your items and bill them. You can either eat there or get it packed. If you're eating there, they'll give you some plates. You can use the microwaves at the corner, heat the food , take a table and enjoy the view. The table also has on spot ordering, the menu of which is seperate. It gets routes through WhatsApp and you'll receive the order within minutes. Go there for the experience and delicious food.

Glenary's restaurant cum bar is my most favourite places to hang out in Darjeeling. They have branch in Siliguri but I never visited. I always visit the place whenever I am in Darjeeling. Quality of food, ambiance, behaviour of staffs and the bakery as well makes me happy in a true sense. I recommend this place for dinner whoever visit Darjeeling. Even couples can enjoy their best time here. The viral post of taking pictures with the Hope in Darjeeling is a new trend but for me, Glenary's is for enjoying dinner, especially pork, chicken, beer and wine. The ultimate place to make the Darjeeling trip memorable.
Nabarun B — Google review
Glenary’s Bakery is one of the oldest and most iconic bakeries in India! 🧁 It has an amazing variety of bakery items — we loved the patties, Danish pastry, and donuts, and their Berline is a must-try. There are so many delicious options to choose from. Though it was a bit crowded, everything was well-organized. The self-service setup with microwaves to heat your food is a great touch. A must-visit spot in Darjeeling for all bakery lovers!
Suvi K — Google review
Glenary's is a historic gem that lives up to its reputation. The moment you step inside, the ambiance takes you back in time with its classic decor and cozy feel. The real highlight, however, is the food. The bakery items are fresh and delicious, with a special mention for their pastries and pies. The upstairs restaurant offers great continental dishes with a fantastic view of the mountains. My daughter especially loved the breathtaking view, making our visit even more special. The food is simply delicious. We especially enjoyed the cakes and the Biryani, which was perfectly up to the mark. Even the chili pork added a delicious kick. It was a wonderful dining experience, and we ate very well there enjoying the view. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. While the prices are a bit higher than other local spots, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. It’s an essential stop for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Glenerry's is one of the most iconic places in Darjeeling this english bakery has 3 floors. Underground: is a bar that holds parties and music Ground floor: is the bakery and the Veranda holds amusing view of the hills and it's magnificent First floor: it is a resturant that offers love band and music shows. The food and the bakery are just amusing and a highly recommended for english food lovers.

We had an amazing experience at Glenary’s in Darjeeling. Tried both dinner and breakfast here, and everything was just perfect. Glenarys is Iconic and rightly so. Located on the landmark mall Road, this is a must visit eatery. 3 levels of food delight. Breakfast restaurant
Keventer's is a must-visit in Darjeeling, known for its traditional English breakfast and a variety of items like sandwiches, chicken salami, meat loafs, and pork sausages with eggs. The restaurant is located at the beginning of Nehru Road and has two floors. While Keventer's is popular, there are other eateries worth trying in Darjeeling to experience the local culture and ambiance.
Why not a perfect 5! Just awesome our experience was when we visited this iconic place in Darjeeling for a breakfast. It was a bit crowded though when we first entered the place. Due to the monsoon shower, the rooftop was not chosen by us. We sat indoors and ordered our breakfast. The hot pork platter they served can easily fill 2 stomachs and satisfy the taste buds without creating much pressure on the pocket. The omelette and other items are also available. The coffee was also nice and full of flavor. The garden section was missed by us in the morning. So decided to have a dessert run in the afternoon in the garden section with their famous milkshake and softy icecream. Though the climate was cloudy and foggy, we still enjoyed a few glimpses of the town from the beautifully decorated rooftop section. The staff behavior was good and service was really prompt even during rush hours.
J A — Google review
I'm telling you briefly I've been there quite a lot times, their food's tastes absolutely fantastic. They are very consistent when it is about the taste, just perfect. This is what you can call simply Darjeeling's best. Bonus! If you sit outside the view makes things more cherish (if the weather is good only).
Ranit M — Google review
My experience at Keventer’s was truly delightful! This place is a Darjeeling classic, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Be prepared to line up early, though — the queue usually starts forming as early as 7:30 AM, which already says a lot about how popular this spot is. The ambiance is cozy, modern, and family-friendly, with two dining options: a beautiful rooftop seating area with stunning views of Darjeeling and a garden-side dining area for a more relaxed vibe. If you can, choose the rooftop — it’s the perfect spot to start your morning while soaking in the scenic views. The food was exceptional. We loved the meat platter so much that we actually ordered it twice! The menu is heavily inspired by traditional English breakfasts, which makes it a unique experience in Darjeeling. If I had to recommend just a couple of things, I’d say don’t miss their coffee — it’s a must-try — and definitely go for the meat platter, especially if you’re visiting with friends. The service was top-notch, and the staff were very attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better. The prices are quite affordable, which is great considering the quality and portion sizes. Pro Tip: Try to get a seat on the rooftop area for the best experience — it’s the most beautiful place to enjoy breakfast in Darjeeling. Whether you’re solo, a couple, or traveling with friends and family, I highly recommend Keventer’s for a delicious meal and a relaxing time. It’s an absolute must-visit when in Darjeeling!

Great place to have a quick bite . More famous for breakfast I guess. We grabbed lunch and it was all empty . Veg options are limited but i had the veg burger which was good , my son had chicken nuggets which more like fried frozen ones. My husband had a chicken burger which was pretty average as well . Overall great place to chill !
Apoorva G — Google review
The vibe and the atmosphere, along with the food will make your day. Be noted that there is always a long line outside. The food tasted excellent. Do have any of their platter, don't forget the fluffy ice cream it is good too.
Surajit G — Google review
One of the most overhyped places in Darjeeling mall road. I visited this is place a couple of time, but the last time was bit disappointed. Every food in the pork platter was bit deep fried, wasn't suppose to be that deep fried. The ambience was too good, the view was mesmerizing ♥️
Furgwl H — Google review
If you are in Darjeeling, must have English breakfast in Keventer's. Also try their softy Rs.40. Wonderful view from the sitting area.
Rohan R — Google review
Keventer’s in Darjeeling is a classic spot that lives up to its charm. Their breakfast platter with sausages, eggs, and toast is comforting and delicious, especially when paired with a cup of hot chocolate or Darjeeling tea. The real highlight is the open terrace, where you can enjoy your meal with stunning views of the hills and cool mountain air. It’s the perfect place to soak in the town’s old-world vibe while enjoying a slow, satisfying meal. A must-visit for a relaxed start to your day in Darjeeling!

Sonam's Kitchen, nestled on a serene street in Darjeeling, is a beloved cafe renowned for its hearty breakfasts and top-notch coffee. This family-owned gem, operating for over 13 years, offers a cozy and intimate setting perfect for a relaxed morning. With just three seating arrangements, the space exudes warmth and authenticity.
It’s a small eatery on Dr. Zakir Hussain Road famous for its breakfast platters, brunch and cozy environment. I tried their Breakfast platters of Hash Brown, Scrambled Egg, Cheese & Bread Toast. The combination is absolutely amazing. I have ordered a Darjeeling Black Tea & Cheese Omelette separately, both were tasty. The owner was very welcoming. We chatted a lot about the local cuisines. It’s a must visit for those who love the proper English Cuisine.

cute place with a western crowd. little pricier than some of the other local places but a good meal nevertheless, owner couple seemed very sweet. only reason i’m taking one star away is the price and the fact that i’m usually full and satisfied for a long time after having porridge but ended up still being hungry and getting samosas after this one! taste was good though.
Smiina J — Google review
A pretty cute food outlet with limited seating arrangement has been serving great hospitality for around 20 years. The foods served here are simple but tasty. The hash brown is their main attraction and it tastes great with their special cheese. The toast is toasted in a crispy way and it matches perfectly with scrambled egg and butter. The coffee was also strong and stimulates the taste buds. In a nutshell, they serve good food and overcome their shortfalls with their hearty and warm behavior.

Sonam serves delicious continental breakfast such as banana pancakes, whole grain brown toast, oatmeal with cashews and raisins and honey, lemon, ginger tea. Her guesthouse, just up the hill, is a truly comfortable, private homestay experience with a private hot shower, queen size bed and a sunny terrace with large windows and a pleasant hill top breeze. Beautiful views of the Queen of the Hills can be enjoyed with both sunrise and sunset in the same location. If you are looking for a true family feel with a great vibe, look nowhere else. With loving kindness, Johnny

Thanks to the energetic owner, I had a cheerful and enjoyable meal. I was lucky to arrive when it wasn’t busy, so my food came out fairly quickly. However, please note that the owner handles both the kitchen and the front of house alone, so there might be some wait during peak hours. The toasted bread served with the breakfast was especially delicious. But the true highlight here is the Darjeeling tea. make sure to give it a try! The aroma is incredibly rich and the balance is unlike anything I’ve had before.

A Breakfast Haven in Darjeeling! Sonam’s Kitchen is an absolute gem and a must-visit eatery in Darjeeling. We had a breakfast here that was nothing short of perfect — fulfilling, sumptuous and cooked with so much love. The highlight was their authentic mocha pot coffee, rich and aromatic, which complemented the meal beautifully. The place itself is small and cozy, with a warm, inviting vibe. What makes it even more special is the lovely couple who run it. With 27 years of passion poured into this kitchen, they give personal attention to every guest, making you feel right at home. Located on Dr. Zakir Hussain Road, it’s an easy walk from Chowrasta (Chowk). If you’re in Darjeeling, don’t miss this delightful little spot — it’s the kind of place that stays with you long after the trip ends.

We went here at the time closing at lunch hour. Loved the has browns. The pancakes were also great. The portions were big, plate of hashbrowns with eggs and toast, along with pancakes was more than enough for 2 people

Small eatery tucked in the alleyways of Darjeeling. The owner stole our heart with her lovely smile, cordial behaviour and interesting stories. The freshly made food (hashbrown and pancake) was really good. A must try whenever in Darjeeling. Special mention: Ginger lemon tea.

Hot Stimulating Cafe, located on the way to the zoo and near the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute in Darjeeling, is a cozy and charming spot surrounded by lush greenery. The cafe is known for serving delicious vegetarian momos and flavorful masala chai with a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, and clove. Visitors can enjoy their treats on the rear deck while taking in marvelous views of the valley and tea gardens. Run by Lilly and her husband Mr.
Stopped by after a visit to the nearby Happy Valley Tea Estate. Absolutely worth a visit, the momos and tea are exceptional and the staff is hospitable and attentive. Wonderful views into the Darjeeling Valley with excellent food options. Prices were also excellent.

If you're into Starbucks, and fancy joints, read no. further. This unassuming place is off the governor's house, on the road. It seats 36 people, including outdoor and indoor tables. Their momo is superb, so is the Darjeeling tea. Price point is extremely reasonable. The view from the outdoor seating area is breathtaking. And there are cats.

A must visit if you are in Darjeeling. Way better than all the other recommended places. A fifteen mins walk from chowrasta. Head here for great views of Darjeeling. One must get a table outside. It's owned and run by an old couple. Perfect place for momos and coffee.
Sudeep S — Google review
Probably the best vegetarian momos in Darjeeling. They’re juicy, and the chutney is spicy - makes for a great combination. Frequented by school kids, which should also tell you about its VFM. They serve both steamed and fried momos. Outside and indoor seating are both available, and if the weather is favourable you can get a good view of the mountains. Check out this place after a visit to the zoo and HMI, both of which are at a walking distance.

This is a small but an outstanding cafe on the way to the zoo to spend time and relax. Here we got the authentic flavor of Darjeeling tea and momos and the soup was delicious. We enjoyed 'B for T' a millet beer served in a bamboo glass with a bamboo pipe. Also the owners of the cafe were very courteous.

Nice restaurant, very polite service. Great food. Tad bit pricey, but given the location it might feel okay. Situated within a walking distance from Chowrasta, one of the famous spots in the town with mall road in between, makes located at the heart of Darjeeling. A jaw-dropping view of the Mt. Kanchenjunga makes it a full-fledged one. A complete shopping destination if one needs to explore the bunch of fancy products with mouth-watering foods therein. All sorts of facilities are available from our property - ATMs, Taxi Stand, Sweets and Snacks, and many more.

We visited twice for dinner during our trip to Darjeeling, and the food was absolutely amazing. They offer a variety of dishes, including rotis, Darjeeling specialties like momos and tupka, South Indian options like dosa and idli, as well as North Indian dishes. What really impressed me was the dosa – it was incredibly flavorful and definitely worth recommending. We tried momos, masala dosa, plain onion dosa, tupka, bonda soup, and idli – all of them were delicious! The restaurant is located on the first floor, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a vegetarian

The food here was simply the best I’ve had in Darjeeling – fresh, flavorful, and full of character. Every dish felt like it was made with care, and the flavors captured the spirit of the hills perfectly. What made the experience even better was the incredibly friendly staff. They welcomed us with genuine warmth, checked in on us without being intrusive, and made sure we felt right at home. It’s rare to find a place where great food and great people come together so perfectly. Highly recommended!”

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant located near mall road and I would recommend this restaurant for vegetarians especially. We ordered masala dosa, chopsuey, veg chowmein and the taste was okayish. Well the pure vegetarian restaurants are very few in number and it becomes difficult to find the restaurant too . Therefore this restaurant can be visited and I hope you enjoy their meals. Thank you.

The worst restaurant I have seen in darjeeling. Rude behavior of staff with very much attitude and ego. All reviews are fake. My family had gone 3 to 4 times and last time we gone I asked for lemom and the manager said we will not give rudely. After that I said we come here to eat for 4 times but at last time the manager said we have not call you to eat here . So the worst restaurant I have seen in Darjeeling. 🤬🤬

Margaret's Deck Tea Lounge (Goodricke Tea Pot) is a must-visit spot in Darjeeling, offering a beautiful location and an interior that beautifully showcases the history of tea. It's a great place for tea lovers, with numerous varieties available on a kettle basis. The natural beauty of the valley and mountains adds to the experience, making it hard to leave before sunset. Away from the busy town, this lounge provides a relaxing ambiance amidst lush green tea gardens.
Amazing picnic spot. A bit expensive though but a great hangout place enroute Darjelling. Visited this place for brunch. Pan cakes tasted good but the Sandwich was amazing. The service was a bit slow but it was good. Ambience and atmosphere were great. Amazing views of the tea gardens from the deck...when mixed with mist and clouds the view just looked splendid. Definetly a place to visit if you are traveling by.
Santhosh K — Google review
If you are going towards Darjeeling, this is a well known place. The view from this place is just outstanding. But you have to have at least 2-3 hrs for the dine in. The waiting here alone is more than 1 hrs during busy times. The food was okay okay. We ordered hot chocolate which was not up to the standard. The chicken hotdog was not that good also...very rubbery feeling. And the pan cake was downright uncooked properly and was very hard. And everything was very very expensive. Overall if you want to visit there mostly for the breathtaking view then go for it! But don't expect too much from the food itself.
Subrata R — Google review
I had heard a lot about the place having excellent view and it really does. The view is amazing and especially witnessing the sunset feels really good with a cup of hot darjeeling tea. However, that is the only good thing there. We ordered two pots of tea along with one French fries and a chicken sandwich. God knows what was the problem they faced with this simple order, but we weren't served the food till 30-40 mins after the order. While the ones who joined at the same time as us were served on time. The tea was served but not the food. We had to eventually ask them to cancel and they immediately cancelled without any second question. As if they were waiting to cancel the order. So my recommendation would be go for the view and tea but good luck with food.

If you’re heading to Darjeeling and planning to take a break at Margaret’s Deck Tea Lounge, you’re in for a delightful experience! The cozy ambiance of this tea lounge makes it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The white sauce pasta at Margaret’s Deck is a must-try for anyone craving a comforting, creamy dish. The pasta is well-cooked and enveloped in a rich, velvety white sauce that’s subtly seasoned, giving it a perfect balance of flavors. The addition of fresh ingredients like vegetables or chicken (depending on your choice) adds to the dish’s depth, making it a satisfying and hearty meal. As for the pancakes, they’re light, fluffy, and generously served with a drizzle of maple syrup or fresh fruits (depending on the season). The pancakes pair beautifully with a hot cup of tea, which is their specialty. You can enjoy a peaceful moment on the deck, taking in the scenic views of Darjeeling while enjoying your meal. Overall, Margaret’s Deck Tea Lounge is a lovely spot to indulge in some delicious food while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of Darjeeling. The white sauce pasta and pancakes make for a comforting meal, especially if you’re looking for a break from the local dishes. It’s a great stop for travelers seeking both a taste of home and a unique Darjeeling experience.

The cafe is located right on the main road and one can also catch a glimpse of the toy train from here. It offers a vibe of the colonial era and is aptly decorated. The staff are very professional and polite and service is quick. The food quality is awesome and portion size is a bit small but the pricing is very reasonable. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained. Only drawback is sometimes people have to wait outside to get seats. Highly recommend the Chicken Imperial, Pork Sausage, Bacon and Hot Chocolate.

Margaret's Deck is steeped in heartache and love. In the early 20th century, the estate was managed by Mr. Cruickshank, whose daughter, Margaret, fell deeply in love with the beauty of the land and promised to return. Tragically, she passed away on her journey back. In a heartfelt tribute, the estate was renamed "Margaret's Hope," ensuring her memory lived on amidst the rolling hills and tea gardens. Margaret's Deck is a must-visit destination in Darjeeling, offering the best views of the tea gardens and a stunning sunset. I highly recommend visiting at sunset—the experience is absolutely worth it. Menu Recommendations: Carrot Cake: Rs. 60 Hot Chocolate: Rs. 150 Apple Walnut Cake: Rs. 70 Pork Sausages: Rs. 170 Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Rs. 250 The cakes had an authentic, homemade feel with mild, delightful flavors. The pork sausages were wonderfully smoky, and the grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. While the portions were on the smaller side—only four sausages and a small sandwich—the quality was impeccable. The ambiance, the breathtaking view, and the food, though a bit pricey, are well worth every penny, making this a truly memorable experience.

Laddoo Gopal in Salugara is a delightful stop for anyone craving vegetarian cuisine while traveling through Siliguri. This bustling eatery offers an array of sweets, snacks, and fast food at wallet-friendly prices. With seating available for those who wish to dine in, it also caters to takeout customers. Although the place can get quite crowded—often recommended by local drivers and tour operators—you might experience some delays due to the high volume of patrons.
Laddoo Gopal Veg Restaurant offers delicious, pure vegetarian meals with authentic Indian flavors. The ambiance is clean and family-friendly. Service is quick and polite. Portion sizes are satisfying and reasonably priced. A perfect spot for casual dining or family gatherings. Highly recommended for quality veg food lovers!

Nice place. Its famous in salugara for multiple food choices. I tried kachori chat and it was never seen before taste. Amazing quality and taste of this location m would highly recommend you to go here and try this chat. The idli sambhar was also good. Rasgulla is also famous and it was very soft. They have dry and wet rasgulla options. You can try as per your taste. Really amazing 4/5 for taste 4/5 for cleanliness 4/5 for staff

Most snack items were unavailable during our visit, and the service was quite slow. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was just average. However, a few sweets stood out—especially the Kanpuri Laddu, which is worth a try. Overall, the place feels a bit overrated, but it's still worth visiting at least once to decide for yourself.

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to Gangtok. The food is good and tasty, except for Sambar, which is basically nothing but sweet tamarind juice. That could have been better.

Absolutely delightful! This cozy little shop is a hidden gem for tea lovers and snack enthusiasts alike. Boneys is a bustling and reasonably priced restaurant located in the heart of town, offering a diverse menu including momos, sandwiches, fried rice, brownies, and noodles. Visitors of all ages frequent this establishment to savor its delicious hot chocolate walnut brownie and strong black coffee. The generous portions make it an ideal spot for both locals and tourists.
Boney’s is a hidden, underrated gem located inside Capital Market, directly opposite Unique Sweets. To find it, head to the Clock Tower on Laden La Road, look for a stairway leading down, and walk down the stairs. The first stop on your left is Boney’s bakery, followed by their restaurant section. In my opinion, Boney’s is the best eatery in Darjeeling. It’s a favorite among locals but remains largely undiscovered by tourists. The menu includes sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, momos, Chinese dishes, and a few continental options—but don’t expect many Indian or Bengali dishes here. What sets Boney’s apart is its unbeatable value for money. The food is tastier and more generously portioned than most well-known eateries in town, all at a lower price point. Every item on their menu is a winner, and I’ve yet to find a dish that disappoints. They also offer delivery to nearby hotels for a small charge, making it a convenient choice for a cozy meal in. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Boney’s is a must-try spot!

Reasonably priced, busy restaurant right at the heart of the town. A variety of eats ( momo, sandwich, fried rice, brownies, noodles, etc) served.People belonging to all age group flock the restaurant. Go for the delicious hot chocolate walnut brownie, it’s yummy! Black coffee was strong and good! The service was good. The noodles portion served is good enough for two. Locals and tourists both visit the restaurant and none would be dissatisfied or disappointed with their service and food. A thriving local business backed by quality.

Authentic food. Reasonable price. For years, this place has enjoyed popularity among the locals. And it recently gained all the deserving attention and praise from the tourists. We had noodles, chicken, and rice. All were tasty and freshly cooked. There is a bakery as well; however, we didn't get a chance to try it. The location is also prime, inside the Capital Market, adjacent to the taxi stand.

Nestled in the heart of Siliguri, Netaji Cabin is a cherished gem that has been delighting tea enthusiasts and food lovers for around 60 years. This iconic eatery may not boast a lavish ambiance, but its charm lies in its simplicity and nostalgic atmosphere. Known for serving quality vegetarian fare, including freshly prepared bread, omelets, and an array of delightful snacks and sweets, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends or family amidst the bustling market scene.
As a traveler exploring Siliguri, I stumbled upon a true hidden gem — Netaji Cabin. Hunger led me here, and I couldn't have been happier! This old-school café, tucked away in the busy Bidhan Market area, has been serving happy customers for over 70 years. I had their famous butter toast, eggs, and honestly, the best cup of strong Darjeeling tea I’ve ever tasted. The place has a beautiful old-world charm that instantly makes you feel nostalgic. It's simple, cozy, and full of character. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed — a perfect break from the city's buzz. Highly recommend Netaji Cabin to anyone visiting Siliguri! Whether you're a local or a traveler like me, it’s a must-visit spot for a classic, heartwarming experience.

This good old place gives a nostalgic feeling when entered. Butter toast and omelette along with a hot cup of tea or coffee help in long term discussions on any topic. A typical cabin to sit and gossip around. Would have given 4 stars but a rat seen roaming around inside has brought a 3 star rating to the place.

No frills breakfast place that offers Omelette, coffee, tea, buttered toast and half boiled eggs. The menu is not huge and that's why they are good at what they do. Being a bit old, the place may look shabby but the food quality is good. Nothing extraordinarily but you'll love the old world charm and perfect breakfast food
Ayon D — Google review
We were looking for a place to have evening tea in Bidhan Market when a passerby suggested we try Netaji Cabin. This place carries its own history and has that old-school vibe. As usual, we climbed up the narrow wooden stairs to the first floor and placed a simple order — two bread toasts and two regular milk teas ☕. The toast was fine, but the tea was a big disappointment 🥶. It was overpriced and the taste was nowhere near worth it. After just two sips, we left it unfinished. Honestly, our first experience here wasn’t good at all, and it didn’t live up to the hype.

Netaji Cabin in Siliguri is an iconic spot known for its heritage and old-world charm. I had heard a lot about its historical significance and reputation as a local institution , and are totally undeniable, but the hygiene standards leave much to be desired. The food has a certain nostalgic appeal, the smiling and ever cheerful staff makes you smile but the cleanliness of the premises and could be significantly improved. Despite its heritage status, the awards , the lack of proper upkeep detracts from the overall experience. It’s worth a visit for the history and local flavor, but not if hygiene is a top priority.

A heritage eatery inside the Hongkong Market of Siliguri. I visited there and tried out Butter Toast, Coffee & Two Boiled Eggs. The taste of the toast was good, because it's made from good quality butter. The eggs were normal in taste and the coffee was on the bitter side, served in a glass. The restaurant is a bit cramped up due to lack of space. However, they do have another floor upstairs to accommodate more people. Overall, it's a decent breakfast restaurant.💙

The worst Chai I ever had. I had high expectations for Netaji Cabin, but sadly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was average at best, lacking the authentic flavors I was hoping for. Golden Orchid-The Lodge in Darjeeling is a vibrant and serene accommodation with modern amenities and stylish decor. The lodge offers rooms adorned with wooden furnishings, a restaurant serving delicious meals, a bar for refreshing drinks, and a terrace with outdoor furniture to enjoy the stunning city views. It is conveniently located near popular attractions like Darjeeling Peace Pagoda and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute And Zoological Park.
It will take more than words to describe completely, how the overall experience was. To begin with, it is a very aesthetically pleasing stay with vicinity to Mall road and the prime area. The staff and services was prompt and well behaved (though it's a natural trait in the mountains, people are usually humble and helping throughout - Disclaimer "It's a personal opinion only"). The food facilities are eclectic and the Bar was top notch, though we have visited in office season food choices were plenty. One suggestion is that, for the people with continental food habits, the kitchen might offer more simplified food choices (Indian dishes also). Furthermore, the rooms are well maintained and with good amenities and clean and hygiene maintained. Summary - Good stay for both couples and family

Cozy neat and clean rooms with all amenities. Even a bed heater is present. They have a very pretty restaurant in the hotel as well. Since hotel is present at the basement there are a a lot of stairs which will be a problem for the elderly people but manageable for youngsters. Darjeeling mall is just 5 mins walking from the hotel. Overall had a very nice stay.

Our stay here was truly memorable. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also thoughtfully maintained, adding to the overall charm of the place. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with a lovely touch of warmth that instantly made us feel at home. The location itself is beautiful—perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet. What stood out the most was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, humble, and always ready to help. Their genuine hospitality made a huge difference, and it was clear that they go out of their way to ensure guests have a seamless and comfortable experience. Whether it was a small request or just a friendly conversation, the staff consistently exceeded expectations. Overall, this place is ideal for anyone who values tranquility, comfort, and heartfelt service. We left with nothing but good memories and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

I had dinner at this Resturant with family, it is very crowded when we reached due to popularity and also due to affordability the Resturant is fully packed. We have wait 30 minutes for getting a seat and any 15 mins for food. We have ordered 2 chicken thali and fish thali. I must say the Resturant serves food well hot and good portion for veg thali. But if you want to hove non veg then it may not be of liking as per the popularity the Resturant is not up to the mark on our expectations. The menu is quite pocket friendly then other Resturant in the vicinity. I would suggest if you want to have food here you much go abit early to get a sit to enjoy the meal with family. If you like quite dinning place you could search for other Resturant.

Hotel Mahakal is located very close to Darjeeling mall road. It is one of the most popular Bengali cuisine restaurant among the visitors. Bengali veg thali starts from Rs. 110/-, it also offers special veg thali, fish thali, chicken thali, mutton thali. Besides, thali, you can order chowmin, roti and other indian cuisine. Price is reasonable. Taste is okay type...not bad, but nothing extraordinary. But, the restaurant generally has a long queue, specially in peak tourist season. So you should take enough time in your hand to get in to the restaurant. Due to overcrowding sometimes service gets delayed. Overall, you can try this restaurant when you visit Darjeeling.

Over the span of three days, we dined multiple times at Mahakal Restaurant and tried a wide variety of dishes including egg thali, veg thali, chicken bharta, dal makhani, ruti, mixed veg, chicken noodles, chilli chicken, and more. The food was absolutely delicious and consistently flavorful, showcasing authentic taste and good preparation. However, the quantity served felt a bit insufficient for the price, which was slightly higher than expected. The place is always crowded, reflecting its high demand, and it can get a bit chaotic during peak hours. Located conveniently in the main mall area, Mahakal has several other branches under its chain, which speaks to its popularity. Despite the rush and slightly premium pricing, the overall experience was satisfying, and it’s clear why this restaurant enjoys such a loyal customer base.

Well decorated, well maintained, well behaved, systematically managed all things but the best part is food is very besic quality, not up to the mark. This is my first and last time visit here. Please focus on your food quality and test. For this reason we customers are came to here.

Was recommended by the locals there. Also, the place always had a huge line be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Visited recently. We tried the Complimentary fryums, Veg thali (Bengali style), Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Biryani, Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Thukpa, Laccha Paratha. All the dishes had good presentation. Starting with the thali, no doubt it was authentic Bengali style thali, the taste was great. The Paneer Butter Masala was a bit sweet but tasted good. The Chicken Biryani looked the best but tasted average, the aroma was great but the taste was not that good. The Laccha paratha was nice. The Veg Fried rice was simple and best, but the Chicken Thukpa was great, it was in a huge quantity and was absolutely delicious. We ate at the ground floor, there is one more floor downstairs but it is preferred to eat upstairs. The ambience and atmosphere is good upstairs. The service is quick even in the rush hours. Overall, if you wanna try authentic Bengali food or good Chinese food, then you can definitely visit this place. Recommended ⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Korean bakery and restaurant in Darjeeling that is very well planned and designed. Literally every inch of the restaurant (starting from the outside) is #instagram worthy. Very spacious with big windows and comfortable seats. Prices are also very fair The only part that they need to improve is the food. Ordered the bento box which was very ordinary. While the menu provides choice of pork, chicken, beef but there is never anything except chicken. If you're not going to sell it, then please take it off the menu. Really looking forward to an improvement in the food so that it can be among the top restaurants in Darjeeling.

Visited NomNom Cafe recently, and I genuinely regret it. The service was abysmal from the moment we walked in—unwelcoming, inattentive, and downright rude. The staff kept glaring at us, whispering and laughing in our direction, which made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable. We felt more like an inconvenience than customers. Even when asked for the bill the staff unprofessionally threw it at the table. The food was just as bad. The sandwich was sloppy and falling apart, lacking any real flavor just a soggy excuse for food. The brownie was burnt and had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. To top it off, the lemonade—which should’ve been a refreshing escape—was sickeningly sweet, almost like syrup. Safe to say, we won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a decent meal with basic courtesy, look elsewhere.

Visited as it is shown to be a nice quiet place. But a Massive construction is going on hence lots of noise And dust everywhere will probably stay like that for another 6 months. There was Cigerrete smoke everywhere as people were freely smoking everywhere. Seems like a hangout of late school going kids and early college students who just want to smoke and drink. We asked if there was a non smoking section and were kindly informed that customers just didnt care about the tiny No Smoking sign (Size of a visiting card) placed on a wall. As the place didn't have many items on the menu the server was kind enough to ask us to try the Sushi but we didn't. We had coffee and the Affogato was nice but Mocha was drab and almost felt like drinking hersheys syrup. Maybe at one time it was a grand place because the decors were artful and almost had a bougee vibe but now even the sunroof was downright dirty but the Downside was that repairs were happening even inside the restaurant qhere people were eating hence low ratings.

I got in touch with them over the phone. Christina arranged for a small corner to celebrate my sons birthday. The restaurant is hidden all the way at the end of the road, in the basement, a little hard to find. The staff was very friendly and good at service. A little disappointed with the food. Ambience was nice and washrooms were sparkling clean. Manchow soup was not good. Pasta had a lot more vegetables than the pasta itself. And no flavor. The food needs improvement.

The food was decent, but the service was a major letdown. We had to wait way too long for our orders to arrive. What's more frustrating is the ordering process - they often claim items are unavailable, which seems to happen quite frequently. Hopefully, they can work on streamlining their service and inventory management to improve the overall experience.

Gour Nitai Mistanna Bhander & Gour Nitai Veg Restaurant is a bustling gem located near Bagdogra Airport, perfect for travelers seeking authentic Bengali sweets and pure vegetarian cuisine. This popular spot opens early and remains busy throughout the day, serving up delicious tea, snacks, and an array of mouthwatering sweets like mishti doi and sandesh. The samosas are particularly noteworthy, while the kachoris may not impress as much.
Seen this Bhander getting busier every visit, over the years. Feedback is for tea, snacks and sweets. Opens early, and rush hour appears to be whole day long. Tea is served constantly and consistently tastes great. And sweets are delicious. Even one piece- Sandesh or kalakand is served for takeaway. Airport departure tourists are rushing through here. And so are travellers by road.

Food is good for pure vegetarian people....the only place in Bagdogra where a pure vegetarian can eat...they even cook without onion and garlic...the only thing they should make it less spicy..and please not to forget take cash along with you they do not use online or card payment method...they deals in cash only

Food quality is very bad. Very bad and Price is too high. Neither foods are good in test nor it's healthy. Very poor quality aata they use in roti it's bitter in the test. Dal makhani is might be 4 or 5 days old cook tried her best to hide the taste under the smell of masala. It's totally unhealthy and unhygienic food I suggest no one to go to the restaurant. Food audit should be done on an urgent basis. Also I will write to the department that they are not accepting online payment.

Sweet shop in Bagdogra. It is situated near Bagdogra Airport. You'll get all kinds of authentic bangali sweets. They will pack it properly if you are carrying it in flight. Just tell them. Mishti doi, sondesh was awesome. Samosa was delicious. Kachori was not that good. Must visit if you want to try authentic bangali sweets.

Atmosphere was not that delightful Onion 🧅 usage was not there they should have mentioned it first Food was okay with not so spicy taste Overall it is good restaurant to go for but sweets and snacks are next level. Maja aa gaya!!

Coco Rio Cafe, situated in an ideal location, is a remarkable establishment that offers a wide range of delectable meals from morning till night. The owner and her sister, both warm-hearted individuals, provide exceptional hospitality despite ongoing renovations. With its rooftop offering breathtaking views and the perfect combination of Darjeeling tea and delightful chicken sandwiches, this charming cafe has great potential to become the top choice for visitors.
It was a nice place the ambience was good and the seating area arrangement is best

Awesome place. Went there on my last day in darjeeling for breakfast. Great food. Great atmosphere. Deff should visit if in darjeeling
Shreeja R — Google review
A beautiful place with more beautiful interiors and the location. It is on the way to badassia Loop where you will find the train track on the opposite side of the road and the cafe with glass walls. The food also is very good in taste and the service provided by the lady is too good. You should also order momo's as they are too amazing. Noodles are also very good but the quantity is too less for the price. Parathas also in this cafe is must try. The service is really very good. We were 10 of us and we came to suddenly but they were very good with providing the food with good taste.
Pallavi C — Google review
Nice place to stop by, specially if you need a top up on your Ather scooter. Food is delicious, a bit pricey but the ambience and the view from the cafe is really great.
Arkaprova D — Google review
After eating here me and my companion suffered got severe food poisoning with symptoms like headaches, stomach cramps, and vomiting, leaving us bedridden for over a day. The food was clearly contaminated or mishandled, showing a shocking lack of basic safety protocols. Unless they make significant changes, I'd strongly advise against eating here - the risk to your health isn't worth it.
Amanika R — Google review
We hoped in at this place one fine afternoon, and I'm so amazed by the hospitality of the owner, inspite of renovation going on they offered us best foods and made us so comfortable. The rooftop view and Darjeeling tea was perfect combination , the chicken sandwich was worth the taste. It's so beautiful. The location is 5/5 and immense potential to be top one, moreover the owner and her sister are humble and kind hearted persons. If I ever visit Darjeeling I would be having tea here at the roof with view of kanchanjunga. Thank you.
Sayantani R — Google review
The view from my room was like a dream. Kanchenjunga, toy train, valley. Delicious food, A vibrant cafe to hangout.. clean rooms.. and last but not the least staff is very polite and always ready for any help they can offer.. I strongly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Darjeeling.

Very bad service. They are busy taking Zomato orders. No time for restaurant orders. It took 40 minutes for small orders and service was very bad.

GREATLY DISAPPOINTED. "The food is so good. You should come" is what I would have said if the food had arrived. I would recommend everyone not to go here. I would visit this place when I came to Silliguri but this time this place has VERY much let down my expectations. Even after 1Hour our food did not arrive BUT the people who came after us got their food.

I liked the food taste, Quality and Quantity. The only think that i didn't like is the behaviour of the staff, who was more concern in making us leave the hotel rather then serving. He did ask him that we will take 15 to 20 mins so that we can finish a google meet while having the breakfast that we ordered but no he was that rigid that " no have food and leave". We even said that we will pay for the time and even order more food.

Once you visit this place must try "chicken tandoori". They serve the best tandoori i have ever experienced. Must visit. Highly recommended
Chinmoy K — Google review
The place is 4 min walk from tenzing Norgay Bus stand. We visited this place by looking at it's great reviews on google on the month of April. The food is delicious here and the service is not so fast but reasonable enough. This is because the food is prepared fresh. The pricing of food is very reasonable. The quantity of main courses is enough for two people. We had plain tawa rotis, lachha paratha, yellow dal fry and mushroom matar. The managers were keen enough to listen to my opinion of their place and what improvements I will love to have. The place isn't air-conditioned but is airy enough to eat. Will visit again.

The cafe is so cute and cozy. It catched my eyes because the gifts they have kept downstairs are so cute. Once i entered i found it to be a cafe. I wanted to try food but my friend said she wants to eat something from street. Hence I abide by her needs. But i had to come back. To sit and explore their Menu. The guy on the counter is so kind and sweet. He serves you with love and amazing hospitality manners. I wish I could go more and sit there. It's a cozy and quiet corner on a very busy road. Plus there is nothing like such cafe on the whole road. The options are limited and not fun at all. I highly recommend to go and enjoy your time there with friends.

It has been more than a week after I returned from my darjeeling trip but the impression this cafe has made on me and my friend is yet to fade. We discovered it while wandering in darjeeling as our toy train was late. We ordered coffee and coleslaw sandwich that tasted very good. Everyone should visit this cafe when in darjeeling. PS: Also, they never asked to give any reviews so this is not forced review but all from heart.
