South Indian restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Hotel Akshaya is a highly recommended non-vegetarian eatery in Thrissur, known for its authentic Kerala cuisine. Situated on a bustling street, this restaurant stands out from others in the vicinity with its unique ambiance and delectable beef dishes. The food here is exceptionally flavorsome and satisfying. Additionally, the cleanliness and tidiness of the establishment are commendable.
The service has deteriorated a bit though the food taste has been maintained. Staff need to be more pleasant and supportive towards the customers barring a few of them. Food served with love brings about the right balance of taste mood and ambience
Subhash K — Google review
Rude Staff – Worst Customer Service Ever I had a terrible experience at Hotel Akshaya. We just asked for a lime juice, and the customer service employee who serves food – an aged, tall man – behaved very rudely. His arrogant tone and disrespectful attitude ruined the entire visit. We were shocked by how badly we were treated for such a simple request. the lime juice we were served was just as bad – watery, tasteless. Terrible service, terrible food. This was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever faced. I will never go back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic courtesy.
Amal K — Google review
I had a very bad experience at Akshaya Hotel, Poothole. The food quality was extremely poor, and shockingly, my daughter vomited after eating from here. This clearly shows a lack of hygiene and safety. When I considered raising this matter with the food authorities, the hotel staff even threatened me instead of taking responsibility. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous. Strict action should be taken against such places. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel for the sake of their health and safety.

Ordered Biriyani on Zomato and recieved 3 bones with out any chicken. Can't believe they put waste on food

Bad experience From Staff and. Over priced One porota. - 16₹ one Green peas curry - 67 ₹.
Amal J — Google review
We ordered Ghee rice chicken curry and parotta Pepper chicken gravy. But what they served was not ghee rice it was plain fried rice added some ghee over it. Next they brought chicken manjurian gravy and arguing us to believe it's chicken pepper gravy. Went with kids and big disappointment. Told to the cashier that any item is not available just say no instead of bringing something else. Bad experience.
Karthikeyan J — Google review
I ordered biryani for Rs. 184. The biryani is delicious. But the quantity of rice is very very less. Why do they cheat people like this?
Reshma R — Google review
The beef is just amazing, went there with my cousin's to have lunch the place is really one off, it's different from all the other restaurants which I have seen in that area, and I really don't think that there is any other place which offers such tasty beef, it was really good. I really had a good time there. The place is very clean and tidy it's really good that they maintain it that way. Really loved the food there. If you're looking for a place which is pretty clean this is the place that I'll suggest for them and for the beef lovers out there.

Hotel Bharath (Pure Veg) is a legendary vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Thrissur, Kerala. Established in the 1960s, it has been serving delicious and unique dishes, including the iconic sadhya meal without garlic. The restaurant is always bustling with patrons enjoying their famous masala dosa and coffee for breakfast. Despite its popularity leading to peak hour rushes, the supportive staff ensures fast delivery of their excellent food.
Bharath Hotel is one of the most iconic dining spots located right in the heart of Thrissur town, and for good reason. The food here is absolutely delicious, consistently living up to its long-standing reputation. Whether you are stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the flavors are rich, authentic, and prepared with great attention to detail. The quality of food is what keeps the crowds coming back, and once you taste it, you’ll understand why. That being said, the popularity of this place is also its biggest challenge. The wait time for a seat can be quite hectic, especially during peak hours. It’s not uncommon to see long queues forming outside, and in some cases, people even stand behind occupied tables waiting for their turn. While this speaks volumes about how good the food is, it can make the overall dining experience a little stressful if you’re in a hurry or prefer a quieter atmosphere. Patience is definitely required, but in the end, most guests agree that the food is worth the wait. Parking is another aspect to consider. The hotel does provide some space, but it’s fairly limited, which can be an issue given the heavy footfall. Thankfully, there is a convenient pay-and-park facility just a short distance ahead. A thoughtful gesture by Bharath Hotel is that they reimburse the parking fee if you present the slip to the cashier, which is a nice touch and shows that they value customer convenience. Overall, Bharath Hotel remains a must-visit spot in Thrissur for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic, flavorful meals at a legendary establishment. Just be prepared for the crowds, plan your timing wisely, and you’ll walk away with a satisfied appetite and a memorable dining experience.
Krishnadev S — Google review
Well, if you’re a fan of hospitality, never go here. Why? Because you’re completely on your own! You’ll have to search for a seat yourself—no one from the restaurant will help you. So consider this a warning. On the positive side, the food is tasty and the service is quick. I tried the masala dosa and Malabar parotta. The parotta was large and came with two vegetable curries—try the yellow one, it’s good. Price-wise, it’s reasonable: neither too high nor too low. One quirky thing in Kerala is that they serve hot water to drink, and no one bothers to tell you beforehand! I’m also giving one or two stars less because the restaurant guard showed no compassion for animals. A cat tried to enter the parking area, and he rudely shooed it away.
Sabi A — Google review
Hotel Bharath is a spacious and very well-maintained place with great seating arrangements. Everything is super clean and comfortable. The staff were really cool and served quickly. I had curd vada — creamy, sweet, and slightly tangy — the star of my meal! The filter coffee was on another level, especially with the cutlet. Chapathi with kadala and kuruma was freshly made with grounded masala and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Thrissur town! 👌
Bestie B — Google review
A wonderful spot for delicious vegetarian food! They serve breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, and it’s almost always busy—which speaks volumes about the quality. During peak hours, you may have to wait for a table, but it’s definitely worth it. The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly satisfying. The ambiance is clean, cozy, and welcoming, making it perfect for family outings as well as casual meals with friends. The staff are polite, attentive, and make sure you’re well taken care of. What I really appreciate is the reasonable pricing for the high quality of food and service offered. Overall, an excellent vegetarian dining experience. Highly recommended—and I’ll surely be visiting again!
Dr.Aswathi R — Google review
Needs to be more consistent with food quality. Hotel Bharath is one of the well-known pure veg spots in Thrissur. The food, especially the Masala Dosa, is excellent on some days — but other times it turns out just average. Consistency in taste would make it truly the best in town.
S B — Google review
Hotel Bharath is one of the most popular vegetarian restaurants in Thrissur, well-known for its consistently good food and wide variety of dishes. The flavors are authentic, the quality is reliable, and it’s definitely a go-to spot for anyone who enjoys South Indian vegetarian cuisine. However, the major drawback lies in its crowd management. Because it’s so famous, the place is often packed, especially during peak hours. Unfortunately, there is no proper system to handle the rush. Customers are forced to stand behind tables and wait until someone leaves, leading to confusion and sometimes even verbal arguments among diners. Getting a table often depends on how “smart” or pushy one can be, rather than a fair system. A simple solution, like maintaining a waiting list with names on a first-come-first-serve basis (as many other restaurants do), would greatly improve the dining experience. Until then, one has to deal with the chaos to enjoy the otherwise excellent food.
Navneet K — Google review
Bharath Hotel, Thrissur, is a culinary gem that consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences! While the wait times can be a bit long, trust me, it's worth every minute. Their menu is a treasure trove of flavors, but the real showstoppers are the Carrot Naan, Paneer Butter Masala, and their signature coffee - a perfect blend that leaves you wanting more! 😊 Good memories and great food.
Bijesh S — Google review
Very good hotel. Tast foods , perfectly hygiene and professional staffs. The only problem is long waiting due to heavy rush. The chances of getting free hotel parking is also less if you are comming on peak hours. However paid parkingbis available near to the hotel.

Sree Radhakrishna Coffee Club, established in 1943, is a long-standing vegetarian restaurant known for its breakfast dishes. Operating from 7:30 am to 9 pm every day, it offers popular items like Nei roast, masala dosa, poori, and upma. The eatery's small size belies its rich culinary heritage and intricate interior design. Despite limited parking and modest portion sizes, the attentive service reflects their commitment to authenticity.
During my morning bike ride, I had a wonderful breakfast at this historical tea shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, especially considering their limited interior space. Interestingly, they have a prepaid dining system on the ground floor, unlike upstairs. While the service wasn't as refined as in larger restaurants, the overall old-school ambiance made for a good experience.

I recently visited this vegetarian restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering both traditional and innovative dishes that cater to all tastes.

The hotel Being in the heart of Thrissur, it is convenient for locals and visitors alike. I had Masala dosa and uppuma. The food is generally good at affordable price. However be prepared to take a token in advance.

For me, the best vegetarian restaurant in town. It's a bit pricey, but most of the dishes justify the cost with their quality. However, in recent years, the upma hasn't been as good as it used to be.

I visited Radhakrishna Coffee Club recently and ordered ghee roast and coffee. The coffee was good, but the chutney and sambar were not as tasty as before – I missed the flavor I enjoyed on my earlier visit. Service was quite slow; we had to pay the bill first and then wait more than 20 minutes for the waiter to come near our table. Hoping they improve the service and bring back the same food quality as before

Had the legendary Radhakrishna Uppuma and it didn't disappoint :) The chutney and sambhar are awesome and add just the right flavour to the Uppuma.

When exploring Thrissur, a visit to the Indian Coffee House is a must for those seeking delicious food at budget-friendly prices. With several locations in the city, including one on Swaraj South Road and another near Vaddake Bus Stand, this charming eatery offers a delightful dining experience. The masala dosa is particularly noteworthy, complemented by friendly and attentive service that creates an inviting atmosphere.
Good food and great service! The masala dosa were good. The staff was very friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a pleasant ambiance. A perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Parking space is not available.

I visited the Indian Coffee House in Thrissur circle and had a mixed experience. The tea was enjoyable, and while the porotta was smaller than expected, the overall food quality was decent. The ambiance, with its nostalgic decor and vintage charm, added to the pleasant dining atmosphere. The friendly service enhanced the visit, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone interested in experiencing a blend of history and traditional South Indian flavors.

We all love 💕 this place come to take a cup of tea☕☕☕...

Highlights 1 Iconic Coffee: The filter coffee is outstanding - strong, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. A nostalgic treat for coffee purists! 2 Retro Vibe: Part of the historic Indian Coffee House chain, offering a no-frills, old-school café experience. Drawbacks 1 Below-Average Food: Most dishes (like sandwiches, omelets, or snacks) lack flavor and freshness. Stick to beverages! 2 Overcrowded: Always packed with locals and tourists, leading to long waits and noisy, cramped seating. Final Verdict Indian Coffee House thrives on its legendary coffee and retro charm, but the subpar food and chaotic ambiance hold it back. Ideal for a quick coffee break or a dose of nostalgia, not for meals or relaxation. Suggestions: Focus on improving food quality to match the coffee's reputation. Streamline service during peak hours to manage crowds. Recommended for coffee lovers and heritage enthusiasts - just skip the food! "Sip the history, savor the coffee, but brace for the bustle

Food tastes delicious. The hygiene level is very bad. Proper cleaning is not done. Dining tables are dirty. They just wipe it and don't even bother to clean it properly. The hand wash area is so pathetic, the spider web is all over the places and taps are not maintained well.

The iconic restaurant’s food taste and hygiene have declined noticeably compared to earlier days. Cleanliness definitely needs improvement. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Thrissur, Hotel Akshaya is a culinary gem that offers an eclectic mix of Indian, Asian, and Western dishes in a contemporary wood-panelled setting. Guests rave about the generous portions and exceptional quality of food at surprisingly affordable prices. Seafood and non-vegetarian options are particularly popular here, with must-try items like hot steaming rice cakes paired with spicy fish curry stealing the spotlight.
I recently tried the meals at this restaurant, including the fish fry and pazhampori, and all of them tasted delicious. I particularly enjoyed their meals, which come with plenty of side dishes. The staff are extremely friendly and cooperative, and the cashier was very helpful. Additionally, the interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed and impeccably clean.

We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The ghee roast was tasty, and the coffee had a nice, rich flavor. The staff were friendly and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed and satisfying meal.

Had really good experience on visiting here. Had veg meals along with vattam fish curry and kozhuva fry. The fish curry was really good and the gravy was full of flavours. Something that I couldn't agree on was with the kozhuva fry, it felt like the fish was not cleaned properly. The heads and fins of the fish were all over the dish. The veg meals was remarkable served with about 10-12 curries wheat payasam and thick curd.

I have been visiting Akshaya Restaurant for a long time, and it used to be one of my favourites in Thrissur. After a gap, I revisited, but unfortunately, the quality has gone down. We ordered chicken biryani and fish curry meals, but both were unsatisfactory and below average. The biryani was very dry, and the chicken was too hard. Earlier, they used to serve food on warm plates, but now that isn’t the case. Even the drinking water was served hot, but not now The table we dined at was also not clean, despite the restaurant not being crowded. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and Akshaya no longer feels like the restaurant I once loved.

I had a bad experience at Akshaya Hotel on High Road. The place was also not clean. I was very disappointed I found a fruit fly in the lime juice and a hair in the egg curry. We paid ₹125.00 and told the staff about it, but they didn’t seem to care much. The food was not clean, and the service was poor. I will not visit again and don’t recommend this place to others.

One of the best places for dinner with tasty food and decent portions. Along with porotta, chapathi and rice, their puttu, appam, kappa-meen curry combo is a highlight. Veg and non-veg options available. Limited parking and average washroom facilities are the drawbacks.

Situated conveniently at the intersection, Indian Coffee House in Bangalore is a prime location for the public to enjoy their meals throughout the day. The dedicated staff ensures prompt service and the restaurant is often bustling during lunchtime, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. This eatery holds sentimental value for many as it evokes nostalgia from its heyday in the 1980s.
Indian Coffee House is one of those timeless places that never lose their charm. Stepping inside feels like being transported to an era where simplicity, warmth, and good food mattered most. The service is courteous, the ambience is humble yet nostalgic, and the staff always make you feel welcome with their signature white uniforms and friendly smiles. The menu is simple but comforting — from their legendary filter coffee to fluffy omelettes, crisp dosas, and cutlets that taste just like home. The coffee is rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, making it the highlight of any visit. Prices are very reasonable, which makes it a place for everyone, whether you’re a student, a professional, or a family enjoying a casual outing. What truly sets Indian Coffee House apart is its atmosphere — it’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. A place where conversations flow as freely as the coffee, where nostalgia meets affordability, and where tradition continues to thrive in a fast-changing world. If you’re looking for authentic taste, old-world charm, and value for money, Indian Coffee House is an absolute must-visit.

Never really understood the hype around this place..The famed cutlets were such a let down..only redeeming factor was that it was hot while served, but tastewise it was a disaster all potato with traces of beef . The sugary diluted tomato syrup they serve with it was equally bad. Coffee too didnt help things . It looks like People go there for purely nostalgic reasons. Food definitely ain't it.
Hari P — Google review
I recently tried a classic combo — a hot cup of coffee paired with a crispy veg cutlet — and it did not disappoint! Coffee: The coffee was rich and aromatic with a bold flavor, just the way I like it. It had a perfect balance of strength and smoothness, and the frothy top added a creamy texture that made each sip comforting. Served hot and fresh, it was ideal for a relaxing break or a quick refreshment. Veg Cutlet: The veg cutlet was golden brown and crispy on the outside, while the inside was soft and packed with flavorful veggies and spices. The blend of mashed potatoes, carrots, beans, and subtle seasoning gave it a homely yet savory taste. It was served with a side of tangy ketchup, which complemented the cutlet well. Overall: A simple yet satisfying snack combo! The warmth of the coffee pairs beautifully with the crunch and spice of the veg cutlet. Perfect for evening tea time or a light café snack. 🌟 Rating: 4.5/5 Would definitely recommend trying this combo if you're in the mood for something classic, tasty, and comforting.

Indian Coffee House has a nostalgic charm and a special place in the hearts of many. It's known for its simple, old-school ambience and budget-friendly menu. It’s almost always crowded, which shows how popular the place is — but it also means you might have to wait a bit, especially during peak hours. The vibe is lively, and you can feel the buzz of regulars and new visitors alike. The food is basic and familiar, with signature items like cutlets, dosa, coffee, and omelettes. It’s not about luxury here — it’s about comfort, memories, and that unique Indian Coffee House experience. If you're okay with crowds and love simple, old-fashioned South Indian food, it's definitely worth a visit.

One of the oldest and biggest coffee house in town, located very nearby to vadake bus stand. It has seating in ground floor and first floor for families, mostly crowded all time of the day and the dining options are good here. Don’t expect high end dining experience or anything from here, there are some cleaning issues and place is a little messy but as someone who is been visiting here for a while I would always love to go and try different foods every now and then. There is bathroom facilities also and again don’t expect much cleanliness, it’s maintained to the best possible way with a great service.

Just near to Systems duty paid shop. Good staff. Good location. Good tea and coffee. If you like this review, please like and comment. Thank you.

Good food. Their tea snacks are the highlight, good varieties and super taste. The best ഉള്ളിവട and ഇലയട (30rs) in Thrissur. Chicken Biryani was not good tho. It was just just plain and chicken curry. Chicken Biriyani full plate 160rs (overpriced), half plate 100rs. CB not recommended. Porotta is ok only. Chicken Roast is good. Chicken Biriyani: 2/5 ⭐ Porotta: 3/5 ⭐ Chicken Roast: 4/5 ⭐ Ullivada: 4.5/5 ⭐ Elayada: 4.5/5 ⭐

(Hotel Aravi )Seating for about seven tables was fine and comfortable. However, the water had an alkaline taste, which affected the overall experience. The same taste was noticeable in the sambar, likely due to the water used. Needs improvement in this area.

Overpriced food for mediocre quality. A simple puttu and kadla will cost you 100 rupees. And the quality is also not as per the Rate. Avoid going to such unclean and overpriced restaurants

Mani's Cafe is a beloved gem in Thrissur, renowned for its authentic vegetarian offerings. Originally nestled near Sapna Theatre, it has now relocated to Peringavu but continues to delight patrons with its signature dishes like the Nei Roast (ghee dosa) and masala dosa. Despite the change in location, which some may find less convenient, the cafe maintains its reputation for serving wholesome South Indian breakfast and snacks that keep customers coming back for more.

Tiny menu. But great food. But they sometimes allow things to go overboard! A ghee roast gets to become a toast! Sometimes. Most times, they provde good, wholesome food. Service is superb.

Taking a star off ONLY because they moved away from Town Well this is easily one of Thrissur's iconic Veg cafe that was earlier situated at Swaraj Round and just next to the recently demolished Swapna Theatre Not really sure why they would move out so far from Town now. As it would be really tough to get customers compared to where it was earlier Now leaving all that, coming to the restaurant itself. The taste is still authentic as it was and they have retained their dishes very well. The hotel currently seems to be run from an old traditional home, probably belongs to the owners. The roads leading here are slightly narrow and it's a bit challenging to find the place. The place has enough parking on the backyard. Also enough area for dining in the front yard and is very well kept and hygienic. Service was quick and they are open early morning from 7am. Payment includes UPI payment.

Nestled conveniently near the toll, Hotel Aryaas Veg is a bustling haven for food lovers, especially those who appreciate vegetarian cuisine. The ambiance is lively and clean, though it could benefit from improved lighting to enhance the dining experience. The restaurant operates in a fast-paced manner but maintains an impressive level of customer service; waitstaff are quick and friendly even during peak hours. The menu offers a delightful array of dishes that evoke the warmth of home-cooked meals.
Amazing food and a must-visit for thali lovers! We had the thali for lunch, and every curry and vegetable was simply superb—fresh, flavorful, and reminiscent of home-cooked meals made with love. The thali is highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and wholesome meal. While we didn’t enjoy the veg biryani (it felt more like a pulav), it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, and parking is conveniently available right in front of the hotel. Plus, there’s a petrol pump nearby, which is handy for travelers. Definitely worth a visit!

Good place to break for a quick stop for breakfast and lunch on your trip between Coimbatore to Cochin. Staff are friendly and quick to attend. Place is crowded and the food is fresh. We visited Hotel Aryaas, Paliyekkara, Thrissur and had Ghee Roast, Vada, Coffee, and Orange Juice. The food was really good, especially the Ghee Roast and coffee. The place is neat and comfortable for family dining. We had to wait a little longer to place our order, but once served, the taste and quality made up for it. Overall, a good vegetarian restaurant with tasty food and decent service.

We ate meals (raw rice). Rice is ok. But side currys are not good as expected. Some of the curry is very bad, seriously no taste. Sambar is ok. Payasam was very cold. Overall not good for taste. If there is not other choice this hotel may be a option.

This was my second visit, and honestly, it was a letdown compared to my first experience. Yesterday I went with my friend, and the staff’s behavior was very rude. When I went to wash my hands, one staff member spoke in a harsh tone and told me to order food before washing, which felt very unprofessional. We ordered ghee dosa, masala dosa, and coffee. The food was good, but the customer service was pathetic. Even while asking for side dish refills, the staff made us feel uncomfortable, as if it was a burden for them. My first visit here was a pleasant one, which is why I came again. But this time I left disappointed. The hotel really needs to work on their staff attitude and customer service.

Food: Ordered Chana Bhature and filter coffee—served hot and tasty, consistent with other Aryaas outlets. Nothing extraordinary, but reliable and satisfying. Ambience: Located near the toll, it’s always bustling with a crowd. The space is fairly clean, though better lighting would enhance the dining experience. It’s a fast-paced, no-frills environment. Customer Service: Despite the high traffic, the waiter handled orders with impressive speed and efficiency—all while maintaining a genuine smile. Guests have enjoyed a variety of dishes, from soft phulka and chapati to rich butter chicken and flavorful chilly chicken. The sweet corn chicken soup has been particularly praised for its taste. While some biriyani options may have had less rice than expected, the overall quality of food remains commendable. The atmosphere is inviting, complemented by well-mannered staff who are always ready to assist.
Just had an amazing dining experience! I recently ordered a variety of dishes, including phulka, chapati, butter chicken, and chilly chicken. The food was absolutely delicious. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty and satisfying Indian cuisine

Tried four chicken biryanis from this place, but honestly, not worth the ₹210 each. The chicken pieces were super disappointing just one bony piece and a small leg. At that price, they should at least give decent quantity and quality. Definitely not coming back here again.
Diwa J — Google review
Food was ok. Taste was good, but the quantity of Biriyani was too low for the amount we pay. For the price of 190 Rs, we get very low quantity and the taste was average. The fried rice we ordered taste good but next day few of us felt illness related to gastro-stomach related issues and we suspect the food we had. The service of the staff was very good.

We had our lunch from this hotel on 26/07/2025. We had full chicken biriyani. The quantity was too less for 190 rupees.. Not only that after taking biriyani all of us suffered from diarrhea & other stomach problems on next day...If you are running a hotel check the quality of food too... My 4 year old was also affected by your low quality food.. Who knows how many days old chicken you served us....

The restaurant was fine. I ordered beef biriyani cause I was curious why it was cheaper than chicken biriyani but then when it came I understood why it was cheap. The quantity of the rice is very less it was just like a snack but the quantity of beef was good and the taste was also good just needed a lil bit more rice. Mutton biriyani had only 2 pieces but there was a lot of rice so they didn't get sufficient pieces and had to eat plain rice at last. It's okay okay.

I recently attended an award function hosted at this hotel, and the experience was absolutely appalling. The service was completely unacceptable from the moment I arrived. The food served was of extremely poor quality — far below what any professional establishment should offer. To make matters worse, the staff were consistently rude and dismissive. Any request for assistance was met with either indifference or outright unprofessional behavior. As an invited guest, I felt completely embarrassed not only for myself but also for those I had recommended this hotel to. The lack of basic hospitality and respect shown to guests was shocking. It was humiliating to be treated in such a manner during what should have been a celebratory occasion. The service provided here does not even meet the minimum standards expected of any star hotel. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise the public never to host any event at this hotel. They do not respect their guests, and they do not deliver even the basics of quality service. This hotel has severely damaged its reputation, and unless there is a complete overhaul of management and service standards, it cannot be trusted for any professional or private function. I demand that I be connected with the hotel management immediately to discuss this matter further.
Architect S — Google review
Our stay was deeply frustrating due to the very poor room service. It took over two hours for food to be delivered, leaving my two-year-old son hungry and uncomfortable despite making multiple calls. The staff were unresponsive, especially when trying to place a breakfast order — calls went unanswered and there was no follow-up. On top of that, they charge even for basic water bottles, and not at reasonable rates. For the price we paid, the service was far below expectations — even a standard 3-star hotel offers much better hospitality. Not worth the money, and I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.

This restaurant, located at Kuriachira Junction, offers an overall average dining experience. We visited during their anniversary "Biryani Fest" and decided to try a variety of options including chicken, beef, and squid biryani. Unfortunately, the biryani was underwhelming, it felt more like biryani rice served with curry rather than a well-blended, flavourful biryani. The taste was bland and didn’t live up to expectations. This wasn't my first visit; I’ve had lunch meals here before and have ordered takeout several times. The consistency of the food remains average and nothing particularly memorable or worth recommending for regular dining. On the positive side, they operate a small tea shop outside the restaurant which serves fresh and tasty snacks. If you’re stopping by for a quick bite, the snacks are definitely worth trying. The restaurant has ample parking space, which is convenient. In terms of ambiance and service, both are basic. Payment can be made through cash and UPI, but card payments are not accepted, which may be inconvenient for some. In summary, while the restaurant is accessible and offers decent snacks, the main course offerings and overall dining experience are average.

Poorest service ever from a hostel. After sitting for around 15 minutes. One arougent waiter came and asked what you want and while asking for meals he said not available then ask for chilcken biriyani not available nothing was available he is telling in a way that he have some revenge on me. And if you want to eat , eat what I give . One of the worst experience ever. Never recommended for family. If you are a traveler through thrissur dont go here . Just 300 MTRS away good restaurants are ther near to ollur center.

Hotel Saravana Bhavan, located in the heart of Kochi, is a top choice for those seeking vegetarian-friendly dining in Ernakulam. The restaurant offers a cultural exploration through its delectable Jain-style dishes and spacious seating area. While some visitors praise the excellent service and well-prepared North and South Indian cuisine, others note that customer service could be improved. Additionally, there have been mentions of ample parking space but also reports of mosquitoes in the air-conditioned hall.
"I had an amazing experience here, The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety of vegetarian options was impressive, and even my non-vegetarian friends loved their meals. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying their mini tiffin—it was absolutely delicious! Definitely coming back for more."

Last day in my first visit itself the hotel gave me a stomach problem through their special gopi manchurian dry fry, ordered by me. So be careful while ordering food from here. Only order the just cooked and hot food like dosa etc:. Also the dining area nearby the washing area is so pitty. Have a safe dining

Sri Mu Saravana Bhavan, located in Perambra near Pota, adjacent to the National Highway, is a reliable vegetarian dining option for highway travelers. Its visibility from the highway makes it easily accessible. The restaurant offers a spacious dining area, though it can get busy during lunch hours. The overall atmosphere appears tidy. Our order of Poori Bhaji, Masala Dosa, and Coffee was of decent quality. However, prices are noticeably higher compared to other restaurants. Sweets are available for purchase near the counter. Parking is provided both in front and on the inner side of the compound. Washrooms are located at the back and needs improvement in cleanliness. Notably, the same premises also house a lodging facility and a bar.

The food was okay, but the overall cleanliness needs serious improvement. There were flies around the tables and seating area, which made the experience uncomfortable. The washrooms were also not maintained properly. Hygiene definitely needs more attention here. With some improvements, it could be a much better place.

My first time there, grabbing breakfast during a ride, left me with mixed feelings. The food was decent enough, just okay really, but the cleanliness and organization of the place, especially the washrooms, definitely need improvement. On the plus side, they do have a large parking area which is convenient for all kinds of vehicles.

I visited the restaurant. A decent vegetarian restaurant. Specialized in South Indian dishes. Ample seats are available. Enough parking space.

Visited Saravana Bhavan recently and had a great experience! The masala dosa was crispy, flavorful, and served with a generous helping of chutneys and sambar—just the way it should be. The potato filling was well-spiced and fresh. The filter coffee was equally impressive—strong, aromatic, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. It’s one of those places where the coffee truly hits the spot after a good South Indian meal. The place was clean, service was quick, and the overall atmosphere felt authentic and welcoming. Great spot if you're craving classic South Indian breakfast.

The location is good. There is a big difference in the saravana bhavan in tamil nadu and kerala. Normally I prefer saravana bhavan during the travel. But difference branches gave me different experiences. I will say this branches will destroy the name of this brand. Food is ok. Ac room is available. But ac is not working. It's not as clean as expected, and flies are roaming around. Please fix these issues

It's a great spot to hang out, especially since it's open 24 hours. We dined in late at night and tried both the steamed and fried momos, which were delicious. We also had a mint lime drink.

One of the few food spots that opens 24x7 in Chalakudy. Food is good. Perfect for solo and group. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring good value for your money.

I recently pre-ordered from Smile Community Kitchen, and the experience was fantastic! I ordered 3 chapathi/puttu chicken and a small chicken curry for the evening. The process was smooth—just call or pre-book and show the confirmation message on WhatsApp for a hassle-free pick-up or delivery. This system really helps reduce the rush and makes things easier for the hardworking community mothers. The food, prepared with their homemade masalas, was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful initiative!
