There is ample free parking outside. The restaurant is spacious and decorated to a more modern design. The seating is comfy. There are smoking and non-smoking areas. The sushi was fresh, light, and tasty. The paella was wet and was not paella it was more like risotto. The seabass was so dry and tasted only of charcoal. The calamari was very greasy but had a light batter. If I had stopped at the sushi, all was good, but sadly, ONLY the sushi was good here. They do not serve Bulgarian beer, which was disappointing. I previously read the reviews regarding bad service, there was no problem with service, the problem is the kitchen that cook, they must not reheat or over cook the fish.

The only good thing was the Beef Pepper Steak, which was excellent. Everything else was unacceptable – we were first seated at a dirty table, the soup we ordered never arrived, service was absent for half an hour, and when the burger finally came the fries were cold. To make things worse, after we paid in cash the waitress didn’t even bother to ask about change and simply kept the rest as a tip. Extremely poor experience. Definitely not recommended.

Yes, the restaurant looks good and has good atmosphere, but that’s all. We waited quite a while for the waiter to take our order, then probably around 15 more minutes for him to come and tell us that they ran out of the wine we wanted. Then it took them 1 hour to serve our dishes. He forgot to bring us one Ice Tea, that we ordered at the beginning and it was then included in the bill. I personally don’t recommend this place.

Very nice restaurant! The menu is quite varied and surprisingly for me - everything turned out super delicious! The staff was great too and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfy - outside it’s more like a bar and inside it’s a restaurant. The only thing that could be better - the desserts. I liked it very much!

Unsatisfying experience. The place is huge and well, modern made with good service but food is way overpriced. Really small portion of sea food, not well prepared. I was so hyped about gazpacho with ceviche shrimps and it was a disaster. It was broken sour and there is a barely half a small shrimp in it. The salad we ordered wasn't fresh either. Stake was okay but again way overpriced. Fish was fine and actually they do great broccoli soup. So go for them and should be fine.

We came for brunch. Service was polite but slow for everything, drinks and food. Avocado toast had good bread but not enough avocado paste and the pouched eggs were hard boiled. English breakfast could have better quality meat since it was a bit tasteless. Mushrooms were good. Serving great Julius coffee. Sushi was tasty as well as the deserts.

Excellent service. The woman who served us spoke Spanish all the time! She was really nice. The place is cool and the food was delicious and so good. We ordered the stews and then the mixed skewers. The bread was warm and delicious. The courgette fried were a must have. I highly recommend this place!

After visiting the Roman ruins, we came here for lunch. We ordered salad, fried courgette, salmon with broccoli, a casserole of cheese and vegetables, and lemonade. All the food was delicious! :) The waiters were very friendly and kind. As always, I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, and when we tried to order some dishes from the pictures posted there, the waiter informed us that those were from the old menu. Just letting you know.

Amazing food!!! 4 days in Bulgaria, and this place probable had the best food until now. Nice atmosphere and very good service. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the old town and want to enjoy great food without getting ripped off. Prices are decent to cheap i would say.

I had a very disappointing experience here, despite the fact that the food itself was delicious. What completely ruined the visit for me was being charged 11.90 BGN for a bottle of still water — more expensive than my appetizer. When I sat down, the waiter asked what I wanted to drink. I simply said “water,” and he followed up with “still or sparkling?” I chose still, and that was it — no mention of brand, size, or price. He brought me a 750ml glass bottle of Acqua Panna, which I didn’t question until I saw the bill. I asked why the water was so expensive, and the staff said they import their water from abroad. I replied, “Is Hungarian water not good?” They said it’s good too, but they only serve imported water in glass bottles. This important detail should have been communicated upfront. Even more frustrating, I noticed other tables had Zagori, a different (and clearly less expensive) brand. When I asked why I got Acqua Panna and not Zagori, they claimed all bottled water is the same price — which is not true. I checked other reviews where people mentioned paying 9 BGN for Zagori. So I was either misled or deliberately upsold the most expensive option without my consent. It felt like a clear rip-off, especially if you’re a tourist. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place in good conscience — no matter how good the food is. Be careful

Fabulous dinner. Great location sitting outside under the twinkle lights on a pedestrian street. Our waiter Hristo was excellent!!! He provided guidance on menu choices, local tidbits and great humor. Fun people watching, too, as tourists and locals enjoyed an evening out. We were a party of four and shared four apps and two entrees. The roasted eggplant, potatoes and meatballs are a must order. You must go here when in Plovdiv.

Very tasty food - we really enjoyed every meal. We had a nice table and sat outside, the little heaters kept us cozy and gave a nice vibe. Unfortunately the waitress was quite distracted and after placing the initial order she spent most of the time chatting with her colleagues. It was impossible to get her attention and in the end we ended up skipping dessert (the menu looked very interesting though and based on all other dishes we tried, I’m sure it would have been delicious)

One of the best places (if not the best) to eat in Kapana. We took a Duck stories salade, bread with spices, 2 porc schnitzels and drinks. Everything was very delicious, the service was perfect and the atmosphere of the place incredible! The portions were big, the schnitzel was very soft and crispy. Our bill was around 120 leva (for three people). Some may say it’s expensive, but it’s worth every single penny. Can’t wait to go back there.

This restaurant absolutely deserves to be on the top of the restaurants list in Plovdiv. Fantastic outdoor ambiance, great variety of food, big portions, yummy dishes. Simply stunning! Prices are very reasonable. Friendly, cheerful and attentive personnel. Pretty fast service. Attention to details. 2025.06.17: had a really good lunch here. The strawberry lemonadeis amazing, with something like a foamy sorbet on the top. The fried zucchini is great, tarator as well. Loved the food.

One of the best restaurants in Plovdiv! We had the red stuffed peppers, the tarator and the aubergine salad - all amazing. The desserts also looked great so definitely something to try next time we visit.

After we had lunch we wanted something sweet and to hide from sun near central square and this was perfect location and place. Very good selection of ice creams and sweets. Place is very nicely decorated and air conditioned so we had nice break before resuming our exploration of the city.

Wow, I was happily 😊 surprised by the great cappuccino! After reading a couple bad reviews, weren't sure about going in, but wound up loving this place! I even got a second coffee. I had the Freddo cappuccino, and my friend had the double ice cream espresso. The ambiance was comfortable and upbeat with indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't try any of the cakes, but they looked great. Highly recommend.

Have been there many times! Brownie with Belgium chocolate is my favourite cake and you won’t regret if you try it. Coffee is very good, ice cream as well. It’s self service. Edit: Hot chocolate is thick and very tasty , also recently tried Cheesecake with Belgium chocolate that is good.

The place is located in the centre of Plovdiv, therefore it is a bit more expensive. It has a calmer atmosphere, than other places and over all it is a nice location for a coffee and cake.

We stayed very close to El Greco and had breakfast 2 times. In the reviews I did not see much about breakfast but if you are a borek lover it is the place for breakfast. There are many choices; cheess, ham&cheese, feta cheese, spinach, leek, tri-cheese and sausage. The coffee was great. Service was very friendly and quick. When I am Plovdiv, I will definitely come and visit again.

Wow, this was fantastic! We stopped by for breakfast without overly high expectations, but once inside, it was clear we wouldn't leave this place hungry. They have an incredible array of Greek-style delicacies here. There's no shortage of sweet and savory options, especially those made with phyllo dough, but you'll also find more traditional types of cakes and pastries. I personally opted for the savory route with greek bougatsa with feta cheese combined with an unconventional phyllo dough pumpkin pie. The pumpkin pie was a very interesting and unusual experience, and the feta cheese was right up my alley. The coffee was also excellent, and the beautiful ambiance added a special touch. A really lovely place, which I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone!

What a nice place! We were here several times during our stay in Plovdiv! The breakfast is great with Greek bougatsa… and please try the pumpkin banitsa!!!🤤🤤 The guys who work here are super nice and friendly too!

I went here this morning for a coffee on the go and some sweets for home. The coffee was good! The sweets (kind of cookies) are absolutely amazing! I can only suggest this to you! Also the service was fast and kind:) ps: I got pictured only a part of what I bought!

One of the best places where I’ve had a sandwich with fresh, homemade ingredients. The gentleman who works there is very kind, explains everything, and speaks English. You can also customize your sandwich to your liking. There’s a tea they prepare there that you must try. it’s delicious! There are tables where you can sit and eat. They offer a menu in English. Thank you for the delicious bread. I’ll be back!

Food was tasty, and made fresh. The “fried potatoes” was avtually baked which is the best! They have vegan burger! And fresh orange and frapefruit juices. The place is in the city center, in a nice place. They have toys for kids so if you have kids they have what to play with! Recommendt!

Five stars are not enough. Super friendly staff , and clean and tidy premises. The bread is gorgeous, so soft and fresh and the fillings were fresh also. This has to be the best sub I’ve ever had. The person running the business today also spoke fluent English which was great.

Situated just few steps away from the main pedestrian street in Plovdiv this place offers huge sandwiches on very reasonable prices. They are really delicious and cheaper compared with other sandwich restaurants. Worthy to visit.

Absolute must when visiting Plovdiv. We came here 4 days in a row and could have kept coming if we weren’t leaving the country. Decent quality ice cream but the portion and fresh fruit is the highlight. They don’t skimp on the fruit! Everything is very fresh. Highly recommend. You can tell this place is quite nostalgic for locals. Beautiful courtyard vibe as well. Cash only.

To be real. The last time i was here it was between 2008 and 2009. I like how between all these years the ice cream sundaes have always stayed good, probably the sole reason the place has never stopped being full. Glad that while i am eating my ice cream i am listening to Guns 'N Roses nice touch 😁. The prices are good but i wasn't expecting the sundaes to be big. Two people can share one and it would come out even cheeper! Would recommend.

Now they added a cozy sweetshop just near with delightful cakes and cookies. Plus the great location and atmosphere it makes it a really must-visit place!

Good fruit juice, in fact it's the only one that offers decent range of juice choices on the pedestrian street. Wish they could have an option of 1L rather than 450ML as maximum juice size. Service is a bit better according to Bulgaria standard.

Yesterday, I bought a cup of fresh from orange, raseberry and pinable but the last 2 fruits were from the freezer stored in nylon and part of the nylon was in my fresh. It was awful after sipping and choked me, even threw up.

This is NOT healthy food. Awful smell of cigarettes through the whole place. Very unclean work environment. The biggest issue is that people there think they make “healthy food” with basic white bread, very low quality products. Its a basic junk place.

Great place for freshly made juices and homemade healthy delicious food. Most of their things are good! But I don't like the fact that sandwiches which people would buy for the protein (e.g. Salmon and Tuna) actually contain very little amount of fish, hence the 4 stars. I'd recommend to add more of the ingredients in your sandwiches and salads :).

Amazing authentic Italian taste and reasonable prices

Fantastic coffee and a very friendly bartender. This is a new place and right next to the established Afreddo, so you get there benefit of a great cafe in the city center that is not overcrowded yet. The second floor is even better than Afreddo's. Definitely worth a visit. Try their baklava and ice-cream.

I tried the mint chocolate chip ice cream and it was amazing. One of the best one's I've had in a while. They say the ice cream there is made with real milk, making it taste so good. I highly recommend it.

I was disappointed on a couple of levels. One, they seem to take advantage of tourists and round up prices so be careful. Also pistachio flavor ice cream was nothing like pistachios. Coffee flavor was much better.

Truly the best in Plovdiv! The owner is a master and uses natural ingredients as opposed to many others. Even has ice cream with date as sweetener. Price/quality is fantastic. Not too expensive! Many other treats and great coffee.

This place offers a good selection of quiches, as well as a number of cruissants and a few other things. Also, interestingly their tarator is VERY good. We had the chocolate croissants as well as the ham and cheese quiche and it was light and fluffy and not too salty. The hygiene was pretty good as well.

Not as good as we expected. It was not clean, all ashtrays and tables outside were dirty. We eat the tarator in plastic cup plate over ceramic plate with metal spoon and the wrap was not cut and they gave as plastic fork. It was some kind of funny table.

Great bacon and egg buttie.

We went for brunch. It’s in the centre of Plovdiv and has a nice location. The decor was lovely, and the menu offered a lot of variety. We ordered salad, eggs Benedict, pancakes with ham, and rose lemonade. The salad had many ingredients and was very tasty. I really loved the creamy cheese on top of the pancakes — it had a great flavor. The only issue was with the lemonade I ordered. Although I asked for rose lemonade, it came out looking like regular lemonade with no pink color or rose flavor at all. The waitress simply said “yes yes” when I asked if it was really rose-flavored, but it seemed like she wasn’t really sure. While the lemonade was nice as normal lemonade, I was a bit disappointed since I was really looking forward to the rose flavor which I really love and rose is basically the reason why I came to Bulgaria .

Highly recommend! I came here for the first time a couple of months ago and now was my second. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was also warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The food was absolutely delicious- we ate English breakfast with Mimosa cocktail and homemade ice tea. The portions are big and beautifully played. I look forward to coming back.

My wife and I and a friend stopped in here for breakfast because we saw their menu online and it was recommended by Google maps. We were very happy with the breakfast we were able to get. As Americans. We've been craving something more typical of an American breakfast place and we found it here. The scrambled eggs and bacon and the Benedicts were delicious and to be recommended. The service was great as well. While I'm not certain they were responsible for the beautiful weather, we certainly had that as well and we're able to sit outside on a very sunny October morning.

Trendy, lively, charming cafe! Great ice cream, kids friendly service, genuinely nice staff. Lots of hipsters hang around with their laptops and cappuccinos during the day. At the same time it's very family friendly. Tourists are welcomed - the staff speaks fluently conversational English. The place is within the pedestrian zone of the historic down town. ( historic - in the Old World sense of historic with Roman amphitheatre and Roman stadium and houses preserved from other centuries)

Nice ice cream, good cocktails, but I object to being charged a higher price than the one on the board outside the restaurant. The waiter told me it's the new price and the board is wrong. A bit of discussion and after asking if that is the new price 'just for me', he angrily got me the correct change and went off in a huff. Avoid.

My girlfriend and I just experienced some pretty nasty service here. A waitress came over to us and said something in Bulgarian. We, not knowing Bulgarian, shook our heads. She repeated it a few more times. We asked for English and she left, we assumed to get a menu. She didn't come back though. We made eye contact with other staff but nobody attended to us, they just stared at us with that 'get out of our cafe' look. So yeah, we left. Odd

Delicious mekitsi located in the heart of the Plovdiv centre with sweet & savory options. The mekitsi are light and fluffy, pairing well with coffee. Great spot for breakfast while strolling around Plovdiv.

Mekitsa is essentially a Bulgarian froed donut. This shop sells mekitsa of various flavors - both sweet and savory ones. Makes for a good breakfast or snack, but ot is quote heavy as it is fried. There is an English menu that isn’t immedoately noticeable, but the kind staff noticed and mentioned where it is to us.

Food: this is my comfort food and it reminds me of the morning spent at my grandmother’s place Coffee: I ordered cappuccino and it looked like the barista has just poured milk on top, there was no foam Staff: in the morning this place definitely needs a barista, I don’t think it is possible one person to take the orders and also to make coffees. Also there was zero organisation. Some lady was screaming the name of the orders so we were supposed to listen to her. If someone replies faster they get the order, even if you have ordered before them. I learned that the hard way and it was not fair. Also the staff did not know which option were vegan and gluten free for which I don’t blame them, someone should have taught them. Atmosphere: I sat next to the window inside and opposite me from the outside there were also people, there was literally one glass separating us, we were like 30cm away from each other. It was awkward because were had to look at each other while eating … I don’t recommend to eat there, takeaway is the best option !!

Top 🔝location. I adore 🥰 the concept of this establishment. They offer lots of varieties and toppings to the Mekici, they also have a Vegan 🌱 Friendly options and wholegrain as well. BUT, the place is quite small and there's not a lot of air so my hair was smelly after visiting. It's a bit overpriced and I believe that for the money 💰 asked, it shouldn't be self-service. It also left a bad impression that I had to remind about the milk 🥛 in my coffee ☕️ which I had ordered as Coffee with Milk (it wasn't rush hour), as well as they got my husband's order wrong. Most of all however the food 🥘 is quite nice 👍, everything is made right there on the spot( no re-heated toppings or anything). To recap, everything is fixable, keep on making good food.

Lovely outdoor space at the corner. Nice and chilled to sit and people watch. Interior is very pretty too and also a nice place to come to at night for drinks .Unfortunately smokers sit outside. THe make some interesting coffees, say the barista make a coconut milk ice latte before I ordered. Cappuccino looks good. Unfortunately, the latte I ordered was weak and milk got too hot in the steamer, a below average coffee.

Came for a fab home made lemonade in the afternoon, then stumbled across it again in the evening. Full of locals. Have a cocktail- he’s got his favourite ingredients so you won’t get everything you fancy. But leave it to him. Or a rakia! Really magical place 👌🏻

Dropped by here for a short break after a long walk around the old town. I ordered citrus juice as well as the chocolate sweets and savoury biscuits. The juice was freshly squeezed and I liked the savoury biscuits. The corner outdoor seat is great. I could sip my juice and just watch the streets from a higher viewpoint, enjoying the views of the old town houses. Reply to owner: made a mistake and didn't see it

Pleasant place to have a drink on a sunny Sunday afternoon. You select your drink from the fridge along with a nicely chilled glass. Good selection of coffee to. The cafe is right in the heart of old town and has nicely partially shaded seating outside thanks to the trees in front of the building.

Absolutely disgusting cafe. Looks nice from the outside but absolutely ruined by the attitude of the manager. He sits there grumpily grunting at people and gesturing that the coffee machine is broken. We tried to play cards but he told us off and said no games. But meanwhile numerous customers sitting around playing videos loudly on their phones. He then goes off and vapes inside and talks on his phone. The man needs to rethink his life: he's clearly upset about it, but he alone is able to make the change. Until then, he'll keep taking it out on customers. Coffee is generic and bland.

This place has a real sense of magic. It's almost impossible to explain, but there is this sweet cozy, comforting and very soulfull vibe. An absolute gem in the middle of the city. The FINEST selection of alcohol, classic jazz music and great service are just a small bonus to the whole experinece. Mr.Satori, being his own kind of genius and great company, has definitely put his whole heart and soul in this little magical cafe.

The lemonade we had was good, that was the only thing that was good. Very arrogant staff and hygene of the glasses we got twice was terrible.

Good music, a ton of different cocktails and drink specials. Comfy outdoor and indoor lounge with couches.

I did not expect to find a place like Opium in a small town like Karlovo so it has been a nice surprise. Very good food, well presented. Nice stuff and good chill music. Great!

Service is not the best and smoking is allowed inside. The garden is nice in the summer, it is located in the center of the town and is generally a very key location. Prices, parking and the atmosphere are OK.

It seems a small village located in mountain area of Bulgaria, driving way in between Kazanlak and Sofia. People enjoy the sunny day at the cafe in the small downtown with calm, bright and fresh.

Wasn't crowded at all but service is so slow and many things from the menu are not available , i do not recommend

Don't order margarita. It was mostly lemon fresh with no hint notice of alcohol.

Just stumbled upon this place after a long day of site seeing. Needed a quick but relaxing coffee and was pleasantly satisfied with Seasons. The barista was friendly and welcoming. We sat in extremely comfortable couches by the large windows with a bright and lovely garden view. The menu had a photo of a very decorative foam topping and I pointed to it and said I wanted it thinking it was just a photo not the actual item I’d get there, when the waiter said YES. It was a beautiful cappuccino. My husband had a delicious iced coffee, my one son had freshly squeezed orange juice, and my other son a fantastic chocolate milk. Exactly what we needed to push-on with our day.

Very good location and easy to reach. In the heart of the city. Cozy interior and nice view. Sandwiches, fresh juices, amazing coffee and any other beverages. I strongly recommend this place!

I thought I knew who I was... I thought my reach equalled my grasp. Until I came to Plovdiv. An unassuming cafe, nestled by a park - awakened in me something undiscovered- much like the dwarves digging too deeply and greedily and unearthing the Balrog. I truly discovered myself at Seasons. The coffee - amazing. The atmosphere? Exceptional. The bartender- potentially the illegitimate brother of Jesus. I was never truly a human until I came to Seasons, and as I sit here day by day I reflect that I will never be the same. When I finally arrive at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter will give me no pause - as I have met Ivan has so thoroughly prepared me for Heaven.

Very nice and clean place where you can order a variety of fresh products and drinks. Close to schools so there will be lots of children outside the holidays which makes it a vivid place. The sandwiches are one of the best you can get in Plovdiv!

Magnolia is a very nice place outside of the crowded city center. It is very nice inside and outside, cozy and good for coffee and meetings as well as having some backed foods. What I don’t like are two separate registers, one for coffee and sweets one for salty things and the self service while the prices are not for self service place.

Very nice interior, but the food is not so good for this price! The service was not good for dinner in Monday!

Quite frankly the worst burger and chips I have ever had in my life. It’s a shame 0 stars aren’t available because that is the only thing you are good for. I would recommend getting absolutely nothing from here, they wouldn’t even get water right if you ordered that. Cold, burnt and very few chips. I mean occasionally you order from somewhere and the chips are cold, or some are burnt but these guys 3 in 1 special. I have proceeded to remove whatever ‘chicken fillet’ was inside that burger along with tomatoes bigger than the burger itself and fill the buns with the cold, burnt chips + ketchup. Good night!

Please update your hours! We were super excited to try your crepes that we found looked fantastic, and we show up at 11:45 PM to a completely closed store. If you say you are open until 00:30 then stay open, or change your hours of operation.

A small place. We tried the pancakes, it didn’t look like the photos but it was nice and really really sweet
