Nestled in a lively Costa Mesa strip mall, Plums Cafe is a delightful gem that brings the flavors of the Pacific Northwest to your plate. This charming eatery, owned by Oregon native Kim Jorgenson, offers an all-day menu filled with mouthwatering breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Indulge in savory favorites like the renowned Eggs Benedict or the Alderwood Smoked Salmon Hash, complemented by thick slices of Oregon Pepper bacon or perfectly seasoned Apple-Maple sausage.
The place was packed when we visited on Mother’s day for their Mother’s Day brunch menu. Waitlisted 1 hour. During the wait, we visited several of the surrounding boutiques 💕. We were seared inside; the place was packed. The food and drinks were delicious!! I had the turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich with salad. i had the peach tea & garden party. Took a while for my drink because of limited supplies but when I got my drink, it was amazing. Would highly recommend. Reservations would be recommended; we did not have any so waited 1 hr for our table. I have heard this place is normally not as busy unless on holidays. Our server was very friendly and helpful. What was even better at end was we got free cookies 🍪

Definitely a good idea to make reservations. Staff was friendly everyone helps everyone. The matcha latte was OK, needed like a Lil more sweet, Definitely earthy. The Cinnamon latte also ok, lil strong not as sweet. The tiny Cinnamon roll was good but a Lil dry on the outside. The waffle was softer than a crispy Belgian waffle, still tasted good and the Berries were so good and fresh not mushy. And the creme on top super good. The breakfast sandwich was large so I split it. That was really good and we took home a take and bake Cinnamon roll which we are super excited about patio is dog friendly no dog menu but they should invest in one, maybe dog friendly pancakes and waffles with cream and Berries, dogs love that! We'll definitely be back to try more items

No exaggeration this is the best breakfast food I have ever had in my life. The first bite for huevos rancheros was a burst of flavors. I did not know what would come next, was how good everything was. The ketchup, bacon, eggs, potato, jam, avocado. Then came the cinnamon and that was some of the best cinnamon of my life. The only bad thing is that I am not from California and will not be able to come back here. 10/10. The servers were also super kind.
Alexander R — Google review
Came for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We enjoyed the Passion for Guava cocktail and Blueberry Coconut Margarita to start. For food we ordered the famous Dutch Baby and added fruit (FYI there is a $6 added fee for berries that we were unaware of at time of ordering, but they were delicious), we also LOVED the fried chicken on the secret menu. The French fries definitely had a smokey flavor and we weren’t a fan of the onion dip, but everything else was incredible!

Wow. I was really impressed with this little breakfast restaurant down in Costa Mesa. I was visiting the area this past weekend from West LA and chose Plums because I had heard great things. I can confirm that it is really great and it was honestly better than I was expecting. What makes this place unique is that they have really unique menu items and everything is executed really well. It’s in a small shopping center so there’s plenty of free parking right out front and it’s quite large on the inside. They have a lot of tables inside, and also have outdoor seating that is dog friendly. Our server was very polite and although the wait times are not as fast as a diner, we didn’t have to wait very long for our items. I will say this is one of the best breakfasts that I’ve had this year, everything was seriously delicious. I started off with a Cinnamon Roll Latte and thought it was fantastic. It had great flavors and was pretty strong. Next we split the Giant Cinnamon Roll and it was amazing. It was way larger than I was expecting but somehow it was gooey and perfectly sweet throughout. It was not overly hard, or crunchy. For my breakfast I chose the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict Server Style, which means they swap out the ham for bacon and add avocado. This was absolutely fantastic. I especially liked the hollandaise, you can tell it was fresh and homemade and it had great flavoring. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and the bacon was unique and very peppery. It almost tasted like candy bacon it was that good. Overall a fantastic breakfast option and I would say it is one of my very favorite breakfast spots in all of Orange County. I would highly recommend to anyone in Orange County or even to anyone in Los Angeles or San Diego because it really is worth the drive.

We came for the cinnamon roll! This 2 lb behemoth was fabulous, the middle was perfectly gooey and the outside sat dry. The rest of the food was also really good. I tried the Lumberjack stack. It was surprisingly well balanced and not too heavy. The pulled pork was the perfect balance of sweet and savory and the crispy onions provided great texture with the jalPeno providing a subtle heat. I also really enjoyed my non alcoglglholic cocktail the coconutter. Cold brew with coconut cream and chocolate topped with toasted coconut. It was so fragrant and light. Can’t wait to go back!

Plums Cafe is one of my favorite upscale (or as upscale as you can get for) breakfast joints. The Food: We have been here several times and the food never disappoints. However, this review will focus on our most recent order: crab omelette. It was delicious. It comes with asparagus, dill, and hollandaise sauce. We selected the potatoes as the side instead of tomatoes and upgraded the toast to rosemary cheddar scone. The Setting: The restaurant itself offers a relaxed atmosphere that's clean and modern, with decent space between tables despite being a not-that-large establishment. There is plenty of outdoor seating, which is more ideal for larger parties. Note: Plums is located in a small strip mall with a small parking lot with small parking stalls. During the weekend when it's packed, olks with SUVs and minivans will have difficulty sliding in and even harder time opening your door to get out. The Service: The entire staff is warm, friendly, and quite helpful. Grade A training from management. The Complaint: For the first time after several visits, we actually have a reason to gripe. Our scone had a hair that appeared to be baked into it. Not sure if they're made in house or purchased from a vendor, but it kind of ruined our breakfast, which was for our wedding anniversary celebration. Our server was apologetic and got us a new scone, but I was a little disappointed she didn't give us a complimentary dessert or a discount on our bill to make it up to us. The Conclusion: Plums is a fantastic breakfast place and -- aside from the slightly higher prices and the one hair incident -- will be our go-to spot for special occasions.

Favorite brunch place in the area! The sweet potato hash was so flavorful and yummy! Also got an iced latte that was delicious as well. Really wanted to try the Dutch baby but was too full! Definitely would come back!

New American restaurant
Sapphire is a restaurant in Laguna Beach that offers globally inspired New American cuisine in a Craftsman-style setting with outdoor seating. The restaurant is known for its casual comfort food and serves brunch every day of the week, featuring dishes like smoked salmon and fromage blanc omelet, farmers market vegetable scramble, Kurobuta pork belly Benedict, Meyer lemon cre fraiche waffles, and Nutella waffles.
Everything was fantastic! Service was fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The schnitzel was absolutely perfect — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife had the salmon Benedict and was genuinely impressed — generous portion and cooked just right. I went for an almond milk latte, which was another highlight. And make sure to save room for dessert — the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet ending!

Went here to celebrate our engagement and they were awesome. The team treated us so well and even the owner visited our table to personally greet us and congratulate us. The food was fantastic, from the appetizer to the entree. They gave us complimentary champagne, appetizer and desert to enjoy our lovely night here. The view is so nice here as well! Def sit in the outdoor dining area. Thank you Sapphire team for treating us so well on our special day!
Yacdiel R — Google review
I wish I could give a review on just the burger, which was perfection, but it was the way that we were greeted at the door, seated at our table, the way that our waitress introduced herself, and was so patient with all of us at the table, the warmth of the manager, and the way the entire staff worked together as a team, because that kind of warmth makes the food taste even better. We came to Sapphire for happy hour, and really everything was delicious, but that burger was made to perfection, the cheese melted perfectly, and the waitress came by to make sure that it was just exactly as I wished it to be. So if you’re looking for one of the best burgers, if not possibly THE best juicy thick cheesy burger in all of Laguna Beach, look no further than Sapphire! PS, I have tons of video and photos of just how exceptional everything at our table was!
Nicole K — Google review
beautiful ocean view and great location. The menu was pretty standard overall. Halibut was just okay, burger was average, but the ceviche was fresh and flavorful.
Sahar M — Google review
We really enjoyed this place! The portions were absolutely huge and incredibly delicious. We even managed to sit at that corner table, and the view of the ocean and the street behind was just stunning. So cozy, so beautiful. I would give it 100 stars out of 100! I loved it so much, thank you. The service was top-class!

Celebrated my friend's birthday here with a party of 12. We made a reservation in advance so getting set up and seated was seamless. It was a beautiful day in Laguna Beach which made for a perfect day for dining out on the patio. It was Sunday brunch but I opted to steer towards the "unch" side and got their BLT w/ fries. It was a massive portion and I managed to only tuck into half of it. It was very good w/ generous slices of bacon. Our server was super nice and accommodating to guests in our group that arrived later and made sure everyone had drinks, food order taken, etc. Our table also got complimentary elderberry tequila (I think?) shots which was so nice of them. Overall, I would definitely return to Sapphire for the great food and service.
Julie B — Google review
Where to begin! From Greg and Sal who provide the friendliest warm welcome on arrival, to all the members of the staff, I've never felt so at home at a restuarant. The atmosphere (especially at sunset) is incredible and the food and cocktails are out of this world. Since moving to the SoCal area in 2024, this has quickly risen to a favorite (almost weekly) spot and they keep leveling up with the monthly specials. Thank you for bringing such a chill vibe with some of the best food and drinks in the region. We have brought so many guests since moving here and they are never disappointed! See you all soon. 🥰
Michael N — Google review
We arrived on a Saturday evening. The dishes from the soup of the day to the halibut were divine. We had reservations and were seated quickly. We sat indoors. Why people prefer to sit outdoors in view of the PCH is a mystery. However, the table service was mechanical and poor. The bathroom was near filthy. Waitering is a hospitality skill which combines customer service with entertainment. This we did NOT receive. The cleanliness of any restaurant is both a sign of quality and pride.

The Original Pancake House is a casual dining spot that specializes in serving classic American breakfast dishes, with a particular focus on pancakes. Established in 1953 in Portland, Oregon, the restaurant has gained national recognition for its unique and original menu. Some of their popular pancake offerings include the Blueberry Pancakes and Three Little Pigs in Blankets.
Worth the wait, definitely worth the wait!!! The best pancakes I've ever tried, really! They have breakfast and brunchy items. Cute little atmosphere but busy, so come early or get on the waitlist! Some items take longer to make, like the Apple Pancake Special so keep that in mind. We've bought 4 of their signature mugs, check them out!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Original Pancake House in Anaheim is definitely worth visiting! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the 49er pancake, which was light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered had that classic, comforting, traditional taste that keeps you coming back. The service was amazing — friendly, attentive, and quick, which really made the experience even better. Parking can be a little tricky. There’s some space on the side, and if it gets tight you might have to park next door by the school, but it’s manageable and definitely worth it once you’re inside. Overall, this place is a gem: great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re craving traditional, hearty breakfast done right, this is the spot!
Cesar M — Google review
This spot has been around since 1958, and the building has been around since the 1800s. It's a great breakfast stop, especially if you're headed into Disneyland, which is close by. All servings are good-sized portions, and you'll have some of the thickest, most delicious bacon you've ever tasted, and of course, the pancakes are tasty. This spot gets busy going into the weekends. Early midweek mornings are chill. If you like a spot with history, accompanied by good people, food, and service, definitely stop by. Chances are, I may see you there, bon appe'tit!
Armand — Google review
Wow this place is worth the wait. It's super busy because its super delicious. Now I don't like to talk I'll of the usual chain breakfast joints because I enjoy them too. But with that said, wow, wow, wow, there stuff is truly top notch. There bacon large think and with meat on it. There eggs well seasoned, there pancakes so soft and fluffy. The gigs in a blanket with there powered suger and wonder coffee top quality. I recommend you reserve a table. So, if your ever in the Anaheim area its a must go. Look at my photos if you question my thoughts. Like always my brothers and sisters feed your food souls and God bless.
Rogelio J — Google review
Ray Y was likely the best server we have ever had. All of the staff went above and beyond. This was likely the best breakfast we have ever had. The Hawaiian pancakes and blueberry pancakes were out of this world. The biscuits and gravy were possibly the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. The gravy is outstanding. Even the steel cut oats were my favorite ever. So good. This place is incredible. We just had to buy a couple of the coffee mugs to remember the place by. Worth the trip all the way from Arizona!!!
Likwid T — Google review
Cravings fixed! Our last visit was pre-Covid & restaurant renovation which was back in March 2019 according to my last Yelp check-in. Party of 2 @ 12nn Aside from the restaurant renovations which, btw, turned out great! Open-concept dining and plenty of parking spots! We ordered the usual, German Pancakes, of course! It’s still just as good as we remember. The Swedish pancakes (3 pcs) came with lingonberry and we also ordered a side of bacon and eggs! Everything was perfect! The staff were super busy yet very attentive. They’re always making sure your coffee stays fresh and hot as you enjoy your meal. I’m so glad we were able to squeeze the time during our 2025 Annual Inspire Magic Key Disneyland (end of the year) visit! :P

I have arrived at 7am and had a very warm welcome. Free to choose my seat among the seats available. Both servers were so friendly and helpful. Questions answered quickly and clearly; Extra wishes were granted as far as possible. Food came very fast as well. Coffee served in the original pancake house cup tastes even better. Food was amazing. Really love this place and recommend it.
Pierre J — Google review
Had the country fried steak and eggs came with 3 pancakes, with a side of hash browns. It was all so good. Service was splendid. Table next to us got the apple pancake, it looked huge and smelled so good. Next time I'll go for apple pancake. Went back for the apple pancake, it was bomb! It did take a while to cook, so keep that in mind when ordering. But the wait was worth it! The bacon is really good aswell!!

Cafe Mimosa is a charming French-style bistro located on Avenida Del Mar, offering a delightful array of mimosas and classic French as well as New American cuisine. The cozy setting includes a lovely patio, making it a popular spot for brunch. Their menu features an assortment of delectable dishes such as smoked salmon tartines, croissant French toast, chorizo scramble, huevos rancheros Mimosa-style, and their renowned smoked paprika eggs benedict.
Cute breakfast place in DT San Clemente. Good service and ambiance. We split the croque madame so that’s all we can rate this on but it was good! Ham in the sandwich was very good.

Benedicts are tasty. Mimosas look good but didn't get one. The patio has a nice outdoor vibe and cool breezes. Service was excellent as they frequently filled my water cup. Friendly staff and overall excellent french style cuisine.

Great service from Tyler. The tables were full and I was worried we weren’t going to get a table for 2, but Tyler greeted us right away (made us felt welcomed), sat down and served up mimosas in record time. Great experience and added to a great perfect day in San Clemente.

I have eaten here as my go to brunch spot, let me tell you this spot never disappoints! The service and staff is so friendly greeting you with smiling faces. The food is delicious. I definitely recommend 😱😱😱
Miriam A — Google review
Breakfast So Good I Canceled My Netflix Special. Listen, I've worked in 42 countries and eaten at restaurants where the chef has more Michelin stars than I have forgettable romantic encounters. But Cafe Mimosa in San Clemente? This place is the Sydney Sweeney of breakfast spots – unreasonably good-looking and somehow even better on the inside. Stop- that’s not what I meant. First off, their coffee or as I like to call it my "liquid morning motivation." I had three and then pitched a new tv idea in the parking lot to a mailbox. It seemed interested. The pork belly eggs benedict? Let me tell you, Sydney in a bathing suit is less perfect than their hollandaise sauce. Smooth, rich, with just the right amount of lemon, layered over pork belly so tender it seems unfair. Kind of makes me emotional. For animal activists. Cause there’s no turning this around. Honestly, it felt life-changing. But my therapist says I need to stop developing emotional attachments to breakfast foods. Obviously she hasn't been here. And the staff? Tyler in particular- what a mensch. Remembered my name after one visit. Most of my dates can’t even do that. The whole operation here runs here like if efficiency and charm had a baby and that baby was really good at refilling coffee and making you fat. Bottom line: Cafe Mimosa is no joke – reliable, satisfying, and will leave ya wanting more. Five stars isn't enough. Neither is this review. But my therapist also says I need to stop writing reviews and get back to pretending to work.

Haute Cakes Caffe is a beloved neighborhood spot in Newport Beach, serving up breakfast fare all day and light lunches. Since 1990, owners Paul and Tania Taddeo have been dishing out their famous flapjacks alongside soups, salads, and sandwiches. The cafe also offers an array of craft coffee options, from Dirty Chai to cold brew on tap.
Great coffee, great food, I love the fact they have a seed oil free menu for those with sensitive to seed oils. The expresso (not pictured) was amazing. Very happy with my Haute Cakes experience. Sitting outside is very relaxing

A favorite! Love the orange ricotta pancakes Coffee is great! Eggs and potatoes always great Seating is not bad but many inconsiderate people staying long after eating while people who ordered waiting for them to leave. Bussers are on top of clearing their tables which seems to help them get the hint.

Great place for breakfast, plenty of food choices & options, the Orange Ricotta pancakes are great, coffee is good here too. Get here early (8 am) on the weekends to avoid the crowds.
Peter N — Google review
We ordered the Haute Combination and Huevos Rancheros. Honestly, nothing special about either dish, just a very standard pancake and a rather tasteless scramble. For all the hype, it felt totally overrated. The bill came to $53 for two breakfasts and one latte, which is steep given the underwhelming food. The vibe is nice, but overall, I wouldn’t rush back.
Ali B — Google review
Cute place. Order before you sit and server brings the food to the table. Any coffee orders are picked up at the coffee bar. Plate presentation 10/10. Liked our food but didn't love it.
C K — Google review
Breakfast was so tasty! Portions are huge, we had the American breakfast and the daily special (Brussels sprouts and bacon scramble) and neither of us could finish our meal. The potatoes are perfection and the jelly that comes with the toast makes for the perfect little dessert with breakfast. There was a long line but it moved quickly, and we got our food less than five minutes after sitting down. Outdoor seating was plentiful, with lots of families, children, and dogs. This is a happy place to be on a weekend morning!

everything about this place was great. Only down side would be parking. we drove around the block once and when we came back through the 2nd time someone was leaving, so we lucked out. Oatmilk pancakes were fantastic, real maple syrup is always a good sign. My son got the buttermilk pancakes which were also really good. we both added blueberries to them. my daguters ordered waffles and oatmeal, with eggs and bacon. Everything was 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend.

Foods really good. Especially the sweets! Outdoor seating is really cute. Order at counter and grab a table. It’s pretty much always busy for breakfast but not too bad during the week and less busy at lunch normally. Food is healthy and delish. And the owner is super nice and friendly and I think he’s always at the restaurant.

Nestled in a contemporary setting, Eat Chow is the perfect spot for those craving casual American cuisine with a gourmet flair. This is a great place for lunch or brunch. Cute little outdoor patio. The specials of the day shouldn't be missed. Always enjoyable. Try the whole menu as some items are really spectacular. Nothing is less than very good. Price is reasonable. The seating is a bit "tight" but comfy. Recent choice: Warm Curry Chicken Salad with romaine hearts, mixed greens, cucumbers, fresh basil, fresh cilantro, green onion, toasted almonds, goat cheese, dried cranberries, crispy curry onions, curry vinaigrette!

This place has been around for over 25+ yrs??? How did I miss this wonderful upscale yet decently priced restaurant?? The staff was courteous and friendly. Had lunch: Starter: Fried Goat Cheese Bites…absolutely delicious! And the Warm Curry Chicken Salad…I highly recommend!

I got the pesto eggs and cappuccino. Both were wonderful. The pesto eggs have so much flavor, the balance of the sweet, creamy, basil, nutty, and spicy was such an adventure. The potatoes left something to be desired. I would have asked to sub the potatoes in the future. Also the cold brew that we ordered was quite small, so wouldn’t order that in the future as well.

When I saw “French Dip” on the menu, I made a beeline down here from Anaheim. It’s been years since I’ve had a good French dip and Eat Chow delivered! Wonderful all around! Alex, my server, was above par. Friendly, professional and just what you look for in service staff. Well done! Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.

Great food! Friendly and helpful staff. My daughter brought me here & we both love it. Now, my wife & I both love this place, too! I haven't had anything I didn't like but my favorite is the Newporter Salad. I also like the Mediterranean Bowl. I'll try something else next time but would reorder everything I've had...but not all at once.

Finally came into this place for breakfast. Always saw it, but never popped in till yesterday. Food was GREAT! Hip little place with ample parking in back. Creative food, that is hearty and tastes good. Contemporary decor and efficient service. Cheesy tots are terrific. Burger, avocado toast and chilaquiles worth a try.

Las Brisas is a Mexican seafood restaurant and brunch spot known for its ocean views and outdoor patio. It is perched high above the beach's promenade, offering a menu specializing in seafood-focused Mexican fare and breakfast. The restaurant offers standout dishes such as the crab omelet, smoked salmon tostadas, and lobster eggs Benedict.
We went to Las Brisas for lunch and had a really great time! The view is absolutely incredible—honestly, probably the best ocean view we’ve experienced at any restaurant in Laguna Beach. It’s such a beautiful spot, and it’s right next to a lovely rose garden which adds to the whole experience. The food is Mexican-influenced—nothing too impressive taste-wise, but still decent. That said, the atmosphere, the service, and that view totally make up for it. I’m giving it five stars for the overall vibe. Perfect place if you’re looking for a scenic, relaxing lunch spot.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience… our server did an awesome job checked up on us regularly and was very friendly I wish I could remember his name he went as far to help me push my chair in and other guests… just a kind person. All of the staff seemed kind just a great atmosphere overall people make you feel welcomed. And the food did not take long we started with a charcuterie board appetizer and that easy delicious!! Only complaint the bread was crunchy which I don’t prefer but the food was all great I got the poke bowl appetizer as a meal but the portion was large. The view was great. Thank you guys !

What a great place to celebrate a birthday! The ambiance is so lovely! We sat inside with beautiful views of the ocean. Outside seating is also available, with heat lamps. I would say service was excellent. Food presentation was beautiful. But the only complaint I had was that my roast chicken, one piece came to me lukewarm and the other piece was not even warm. That was quite a disappointment. Everything else was really great. They even served a cheesecake slice to celebrate the birthday. For 3 people we spent about $250, with tip, $300 (2 appetizers, 1 alcoholic drink, 3 main entrees). Also, there is valet service if you can't find street parking.

We wanted a nice lunch with an Ocean view. Las Brisas was recommended and it met the criteria. We were seated outside with minimal weight and a nice view of the ocean. Service was prompt. We ordered the “table side guacamole “ which was not prepared table side “as you like it” with no explanation of why not. A point off for that. The margaritas were fresh tasting and nicely garnished. A “zero proof” mocktail had great grapefruit flavor and a dried grapefruit garnish. Lunch was mushroom tacos for one of us, a salad with salmon for me, and 3 sides for our third. Glazed carrots, beautiful baby carrots with the tops, honied and spicy, and rice and beans. The tacos were served on blue corn tortillas, obviously homemade and delicious. The salad was fresh and good, with about a 4 oz piece of salmon. Reasonable for the price. Overall a great lunch, upscale treat in a gorgeous spot.

Las Brisas in Laguna was a full-on experience. We came with a big group to celebrate my business partner’s birthday and not one person had a bad thing to say about the flavor of the food. We were all starving to begin with, so when the tortilla chips, salsa, and bean dip hit the table, it was game over. I’m not even exaggerating when I say the salsa and bean dip stole the show. We kept ordering more because it was just that good and addictive. I ordered the mole enchiladas and the flavor was right on. Rich, bold mole with a nice creamy topping and a little sprinkle of something crunchy on top that added texture. My only real complaint was the portion size for the price. For around forty bucks, I expected something a little more filling. A few others in our group felt the same with their entrees like the shrimp dish and ahi tuna. Flavor was there, just not enough food. One friend ordered the short ribs and those were a big win. He was stoked with how tender they were and how well the sauce came through. All that said, the view here is absolutely unmatched. You are right there with the waves crashing in the background and that perfect ocean breeze. The ambiance alone makes this a spot worth checking out, especially for a celebration or date night. Just be ready to spend and maybe grab dessert somewhere after if you’re still hungry.

Outstanding dining experience overall. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time and requesting outdoor, ocean-view dining. All of the food that I tried was fantastic: chips & guac, charcuterie, shrimp cocktail. The service was great, and the view was phenomenal. Valet parking is $10, and metered parking across the street is pretty cheap. You can exit the back of the restaurant and take a walk along the beach or to nearby gift shops.

Food was good- selectively, I liked my partners food more than mine which is a no brainer. Although charcuterie board was a little small for the price it was enjoyable, worth the buck for the experience and ambience. Customer service was great too, overall not too bad experience, it's a nice restaurant with a good view of the ocean.

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Parking was a bit of a hassle—paid street parking only, and I had to park quite far and walk. The menu itself felt pretty average, nothing that really stood out. That said, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made up for it. Loved the seating with a beautiful view of Laguna Beach—great spot to just sit back and enjoy the view.

Orange Hill Restaurant is a top-tier dining venue located on a lush hill in Orange, California. It offers an exceptional culinary experience complemented by stunning panoramic views. The restaurant's New American menu and extensive wine list are enjoyed amidst the enchanting landscapes that make it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently celebrated my son’s 21st birthday at Orange Hill Restaurant, and all I can say is WOW! After asking him where he wanted to go, he chose Orange Hill, and it could not have been more perfect. We made reservations for 12, and from start to finish, it was an unforgettable evening. The food was absolutely outstanding—every plate was spot on. My son’s girlfriend’s parents joined us, and they were just as impressed as the rest of us. The service, though, is what truly made the night exceptional. Our first server, John, took great care of us and then handed things off to Adam, who went above and beyond. I have never been served by such an attentive and professional server. Adam not only managed our large party of 12 flawlessly, but also gave the same top-notch service to surrounding tables. Simply incredible. This restaurant is perfect for any special occasion—from birthdays to weddings (and we even saw a large wedding party dining there that evening). If management is reading this: please make Adam a trainer—unless, of course, you can find a way to clone him! Thank you, Orange Hill, for giving my son, my family, and me such a memorable evening. We’ll never forget it. My wife and I are already planning our next visit in a couple of weeks for a date night. 👍🏽

My boyfriend and I went to Orange Hill in November 2024 to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, the staff was super friendly, and the hostess found us a perfect spot where we could enjoy an intimate dinner with an amazing view. They have valet parking at the entrance, which costs $10. The menu ranges from $30 to $70 per dish. To start, we had the spinach dip, which was one of the best we’ve tried in the area. For our main course, we got the Zinfandel Braised Short Rib, which was our favorite—full of flavor and super tender—and the 24-Hour Herb Roasted Prime Rib 12oz, which was good but not completely to my liking because it felt a little dry. Our server surprised us with a delicious anniversary dessert, which made the experience even more special. We arrived around sunset, and the view was absolutely stunning. You could see the city lights starting to come on while the sky changed colors, and the air felt fresh and pleasant. Overall, it’s a place where the service, the view, and the food all come together perfectly. It’s not just a dinner—it feels like an experience, especially if you’re celebrating something special. A few things to keep in mind: valet only and arriving around sunset gives you the best view.

My husband and I dined here to celebrate my birthday as I had heard good things about this place and it was close-by so we checked it out. Entrance: We pulled up to the valet where they were very abrupt and efficient is grabbing our car from us. "Leave keys in car." It's not like there was a line of cars behind us. The other valet guy welcomed me but felt very procedure-like. Wasn't a great start to the evening. We checked in with the hostess for our reservation and still had to wait about 5-10 minutes which wasn't a big deal. Same thing, felt like hostess was going through the motions, didn't feel quite warm. Ambience: We were seated inside in a booth with a view which was a bit tucked away from the other patrons, which was nice and intimate. I think they could play better music here, it did not really match the ambience of the restaurant. They were playing like 2000's-2010's pop music. Something a bit more elegant would be nice. The view is beautiful, even from the inside. Service: The employees here in general just seem to be efficient and not very warm and personable. They go through the motions but don't really make an effort to make you feel truly welcome. Our waiter was just very quick and just wanted to know our order and walk away. He did bring out a birthday dessert which was nice but then he said "happy anniversary"... just very little effort behind the service. Food and drink: The food is quite good. We did decide to steer clear of certain items mentioned online that people didn't seem to like, but if you order right, you will get something you like. But I would caution that it seems like not everything on the menu is great. I did have an excellent drink, probably my new favorite cocktail of all time: the Spa Day. The flavor and foam on this drink is delicious and unique. The waiter recommended the ube colada which we also ordered. It tasted like watered down pineapple juice and wasn't blended. Not sure why that is a recommended drink. We ordered the braised short rib and the snapper which were both excellent dishes with great presentation. Overall, a nice place to dine at, good food and drink, I think they could use a new music selection more fitting to their theme, and should train their employees to have more empathy and warmness.

This restaurant is amazing for both having a casual dinner and for any special celebrations. Atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and kind, their food was really good! There are lots of space for people to hang out outside and take pictures. The only thing is if you want to be seated outside you probably should put in a request when making a reservation.

This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Jeff was our server and he was phenomenal. He answered all the questions we had perfectly. The cocktails were amazing. The food was outstanding and so delicious. I had the 18oz New York strip and it was so good. It was cooked to perfection and so juicy. My bf got the prime rib and absolutely loved it. We also shared their garlic fries and they were to die for. We also shared a salad and I’m not sure if the dressings are made in house but the ranch dressing with the salad was so yummy. I also loved the bacon they top it with. The atmosphere was so relaxing and friendly. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return soon. 100% the best restaurant around.

It was a good experience for our first time here. We came for brunch and for appetizer we got the coconut shrimp, my bf got an omelette and pancakes and I ended up getting the French toast (pictured). For drinks, coffee and fresh orange juice. Absolutely delicious. Service and staff was great. Valet only $10
Estefany C — Google review
Orange Hill delivers on atmosphere the view is absolutely outstanding. It’s the kind of spot that makes for a perfect date night or special occasion dinner. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. That said, a few things left a bad impression. I didn’t like that valet parking was required. It’s $10 for valet, but if you pay with a credit card, it’s $10.50. For a restaurant presenting itself as a five-star establishment, that extra 50¢ charge just feels tacky. On top of that, the valet host’s attitude could use some work. No greeting, just a blunt “cash or card, tap here.” Inside, the service was fine, but I didn’t feel like a valued guest, more like a number being moved in and out. Handing the payment device to guests to add a tip felt especially out of place for a high-end restaurant; it’s something I’d expect at a casual spot like Chili’s, not here. Overall, Orange Hill is a great place to experience once for the view and ambiance at least once if you’re in the neighborhood.

The open and airy dining room provides stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, creating a breezy and relaxing atmosphere. Decorated in whites and beiges with sea foam-colored accents, the restaurant exudes an ocean vibe with its charming decor including starfish, netting, and seashells on the tables.
Beautiful ocean views and a great spot for brunch or lunch! The clam chowder was delicious, and they let us bring our own wine for a $25 corkage fee. I loved the crab eggs benedict, and the oysters were super fresh. All the egg dishes were tasty, though the coffee have room for improvement could be stronger and taste better kind of match the restaurant class ! Service was kind and welcoming. Parking is the downside ,valet is expensive, and we ended up spending $65 for the day. Still, highly recommend for the food, views, and overall experience!

Beautiful spot with an amazing ocean view! Our server Bianca was super sweet and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails and blueberry pancakes were great, and my daughter enjoyed her eggs and potatoes. I ordered the veggie hash and was disappointed to find it had a cashew cream sauce that wasn’t listed on the menu—it totally overpowered the dish and wasn’t to my taste. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would come back for the atmosphere, drinks, and service.

Had a clam chowder cup and it was very good. Tasted fresh and creamy. The French fries were nice and crispy on the outside and the ranch was amazing. Made in house and different. The view was nice also. The things I didn’t love was that it was a little confusing to find, it was all valet parking and everything was expensive.

Our breakfast at Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach was a letdown. Despite 80% of the tables being open, we were stuck waiting 30 minutes to be seated, which was frustrating and unnecessary. The hostess seemed disorganized and could benefit from better training to manage the seating process efficiently. The servers appeared bored with nothing to do, as most tables were empty, yet the service was surprisingly slow. The oceanfront atmosphere was beautiful, and the breakfast menu had potential, but the poor customer service and long wait overshadowed the dining experience. For a Laguna Beach restaurant known for its coastal dining, I expected better hospitality. Hopefully, they improve their service flow for future guests.

Great views of you get a table outside but good food. Started with the Parker house roll which came out warm and was standard. Also had the grilled Thai prawns to start. Probably the tastiest thing we ordered. Went with the lamb chops and steak for mains. Both absolutely tasty and would recommend. They also had a children’s menu that you can request for. My nephew had chicken fingers and fries. We had the fingerling potatoes as a side as we weirdly weren’t able to order a side of fries because that wasn’t allowed. Desserts were okay. Had the bread pudding and churro doughnuts. Service wasn’t the best, very slow but it was a full house.

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations is a popular spot in Irvine, known for its innovative take on Southern classics and extensive whiskey selection. The restaurant offers a warm and spirited hospitality, making it a destination for food enthusiasts and casual diners alike. With over 300 bottles of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch, including a private whiskey room, it's a haven for whiskey connoisseurs.
My wife and her friends had visited this spot for a girls’ night out and came back raving about it, so I knew I had to try it myself. We stopped in for lunch while we were in the area, and from the moment we arrived, I was impressed. The entrance and patio area exuded upscale saloon vibes, featuring dark wood finishes and Edison bulb lighting that added a warm, rustic charm. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Our waitress was attentive, taking our drink orders right away. We started with the pig candy, which was absolutely delicious. I ordered an Old Fashioned and a Bloody Mary—my go-to—and both were top-notch. For lunch, I had the prime rib dip with fries. The au jus was flavorful, and the fries were more like hearty potato wedges, served with their in-house ketchup. As a loyal Heinz fan, I was skeptical, but it won me over. My wife ordered the Bosscat Burger, which looked incredible. We finished with a fried apple pie that was hands-down the best I’ve had in a while. The restaurant’s decor was stunning, especially the private room with a whiskey wall and gold birdcages. Tip: validate your parking before leaving the paid structure!

This place has me torn. I've been to this place twice and my first experience was everything I wanted. A restaurant experience to be. The food was amazing. The decor was amazing. Design of the restaurant. The service was on point. Everything was great. Then I came back here and everything was horrible. The food came out late. The service was horrible even when I tried to say something. Well that's not us. It was just horrible and then the food wasn't as good. Everything was just bad and so I'm over this place. I would not recommend it

I've been wanting to come here for some time and tonight was it. Parking was easy and 3 hour validation at restaurant. The place is decorated very dark wood and low lighting and I loved it. The service was friendly and helpful to select the right item. She recommended for me the Boss Lady as I told her I like sweet whiskey and it was perfect. We started with the country bread and it was so freakin good. If you love garlic, then you need to try it. For my main I had the prime rib sandwich with cheese and it was one of the best I've had. Thick slices of meat and the au jus sauce was perfect. For dessert I had the apple pie and it did not disappoint. It not cheap but so worth it for those special occasions.

Kelsey was our server for the early lunch hour. I had a party of three. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air and breeze. I had the KC Chicken meatballs, my sister had the burger smashies and my nephew had the garden salad with chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. On this hot summer day we decided to skip the cocktails. This is a chill place to watch a sports game or to meet up with friends. This restaurant plays some of the best rock ‘n’ roll from the 70’s and 80’s. Be sure to get your parking validated.
Marian G — Google review
Loved the vibe here—it’s a fun indoor-outdoor space with a great mix of cocktails, beer, and wine. The service was a bit slow due to our waiter manning the old fashion made table side station. The happy hour menu is a steal, with options like short rib grilled cheese, fried pickles, and burgers all under $10. We started with the tuna lettuce wraps, which looked promising but ended up falling flat flavor-wise. Thankfully, the entrees more than made up for it—the burger “chef’s way” was massive, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the prime rib sandwich was rich, buttery, and perfectly tender. I’d absolutely come back for happy hour and have my eye on the spicy chicken sandwich next time.

We had a large group and the service was incredible! We had a small menu because of the size of the group, but it offered so many options, everyone had something they loved. The avocado toast and brussel sprouts (appetizers) were incredible!! If you like crispy brussel sprouts, you will go crazy for these ones!! It was a fun experience and the speedy service did not disappoint!!!

Well. Reservation was honored immediately, which is awesome. Sat on the patio on a Friday evening. Busy but not overwhelmingly. Irwin our server gave us the full intro with specials and recs. Very friendly and brought out items as requested and missed nothing. So that was lovely. As for the drinks. Wouldn’t ya know shocked me with the full cucumber flavor with a hint of sweet. What a perfect blend of these flavors. This drink was second to the first place winner of the night which was the friggin pork chop! Thankfully we did family style because I got the sugar barrel steak mid rare. Banana pudding at the end fed the whole table. 1st place that pork chop plate. 2nd the cucumber cocktail. 3rd sugar barrel steak. Other plates were still great but those were the runaways. Grilled fish was everyone else’s favorite but who cares what they think. Espresso martini was nice as was the country bread with the ranch butter. Really wasn’t wow’d by the ahi tuna or the pork belly or the mushroom fingers. Still good, don’t get me wrong…but I would try other items before returning to those. Cooked great, presentation great. Just not my gig. I would describe the atmosphere as a dramatic, moody, mellow vibe with glowing lights. Felt intimidate even though tables surrounded you.

I tell you, this is the best breakfast that I ever had in any restaurant. Nothing was overcooked, big selection of the food. Fast serving, sweet staff, huge portions. Once again the food was perfect, made delicious. The only bad thing I can tell that I’m traveling and I don’t have this restaurant in my area and it makes me sad. I love you, guys!!!!

The food was okay. I don't usually have sweets for breakfast, but the peanut waffle was pretty good and not too sweet. The Lomo Saltado was a bit too salty, especially the fries. They got soggy really quickly. The Benny Sampler was alright, but the pork belly one was mostly fat. It would have been better if the pork belly was crispier to balance out the fattiness. There weren't many coffee options, just hot or cold coffee with sugar and creamer. The server also forgot to put in one of our orders, so we had to wait a bit longer. Overall, it was just okay.

Overall, this place is a hit. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. The mimosa flight was delicious. The Ribeye and Chilaquiles were 4/5; definitely enough to share if not super hungry. The Duck Confit Hash was 3/5; I was not expecting the white raisins in there. Churro Waffle was 5/5!

I visited this restaurant last Saturday for brunch with a friend and had an unexpectedly uncomfortable experience with our waitress. Right from the start, she offered mimosas despite me being visibly pregnant, and after we politely declined, she kept asking intrusive questions about my pregnancy, including my due date and even the zodiac sign of my baby. She also repeatedly asked for my own birthdate, which felt totally inappropriate and irrelevant to our meal. When we asked for the check, she asked us again if we wanted mimosas, making the situation even more awkward. Throughout our visit, she shared personal stories about her and her mother, stories we didn’t ask to hear and frankly weren’t interested in, as we were trying to enjoy a relaxing brunch. Finally, when we were leaving, she pointed at my belly and said “Good luck” and then added “because you’ll need it.” This felt like a very strange and unnecessary comment, unprofessional and unsettling, especially for a customer who’s already been made to feel uncomfortable by repeated personal questions. I understand that some servers like to be friendly, but this was way beyond normal conversation. I hope the management can remind their staff to respect guests’ boundaries and avoid overly personal remarks. We left a 20% tip because it was automatically selected, but this experience really wasn’t pleasant. The food was good though.

Staying at the South Coast Westin hotel, I walked over to the mall for lunch and found the Outpost Kitchen. It is a decent mall eatery with a relatively healthy lunch menu that includes fresh ingredients and reasonable portions. The bar and cocktail menu caught my eye but it was too early in the day for me and I had a lot of things I needed to get done for the afternoon, otherwise I would've given it a try.

We went there for a Sunday brunch. The place was very busy. Fortunately I made a reservation the day before. I highly recommend making a reservation if you don't want to wait for too long. Food was great! We loved all the dishes we ordered. I only hoped the size of their latte was a bit bigger. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Great place with great servers and food! This was my first time and the service started off good, but I think they forgot to bring my food lol, After waiting about 30 minutes and staying at a local hotel I needed to head back to check out. The way they handled the mishap was everything!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE at it's finest! My order was packed to go and it was delicious and so was the sparkling wine I had while waiting. Good vibes, good energy, good people and service is always a WIN! Look forward to the next time I am in the OC to enjoy this gem.

My girlfriend and I had a nice breakfast here at this organic & all natural restaurant. Nice outdoor patio. Good food selection with fresh ingredients. I'm a vegetarian so my options are limited. Ordered the Post Wrap with egg whites - a little messy. The tortilla unraveled and easily broke apart but overall is was tasty. Enjoyed a cold latte with almond milk, a bit pricey at $6. Parking convenient. Great service. Attentive & friendly server. Atmosphere warm & bright. A nice breakfast find.

OEB Breakfast Co. in Newport Beach offers a unique dining experience with its creative menu and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its Confit de Canard, served with poached eggs and duck fat-fried herb potatoes, which has received rave reviews from customers. The owner, a seasoned restaurateur from Canada, has brought his simple yet innovative concept to California. Guests have praised the indoor and outdoor seating options as well as the dog-friendly patio.
Wonderful Experience – Tasty & Generous Portions We had a great visit The Banana Berry was refreshing and delicious, a perfect start. The Chicken Bowl was very good – flavorful and satisfying. The French Toast was a highlight – perfectly done and the portion is generous enough for two to share. Overall, a really good experience. Friendly vibes and definitely worth coming back. Highly recommend

Very Cute well designed Egg theme breakfast shop. We had egg breakfast and nachos set and signature latte. The ham is flavored with rosemary while the waffles are buttered with almond milk I think. The Nachos mixed with fresh tomatoes slices as well as fresh avocado along with beans pastes taste quite fresh not heavy at all. The latte is well brewed and balanced with the milk while the bitterness kicks in a bit. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience and the staff are friendly.

What a treat! Holy Crab was delicious. There was no mistake that you were having crab. The beef tallow fries were fantastic as advertised. Shishito peppers were perfect with brunch. The French toast was substantial and the pancake was soft with just a little chew to it. Super cute interior. The whole family approved.

Absolutely love OEB! Portions are perfect. The food is delicious. The service is great on the weekends. You’ll have to wait for a table but they get it pretty quickly. Sometimes you have to wait about 30 minutes. Huge selection of breakfast food to choose from. Everything is excellent here.

Had the Crab Benedict - Best I’ve ever had. The potatoes are fried in Tallow and are incredible delicious. Highly recommended ❤️ my wife had the bacon and eggs with pancakes and OMG it’s the best pancake I’ve ever had. Fantastic breakfast and lunch menus. Healthy dining with inside and outside eating. Plenty of free parking. Endy was fantastic and welcoming to all patrons. Checking with us to be sure everything is beyond excellent. Food was served fast and hot and super delicious. It the first time I’ve been treated with fresh ground pepper on my breakfast.

The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove is a charming beachside eatery housed in a converted cottage, offering popular California favorites and a delightful breakfast. Situated within the historic district of Crystal Cove State Park, this old house provides an idyllic setting for oceanfront dining with breathtaking views of the Newport Coastline and Catalina Island. Guests can enjoy the coastal dining experience right on the sandy beach, savoring delicious meals while soaking in the refreshing ocean breeze and admiring the crashing waves.
A great experience right on the beach. Good food, wonderful view. Very relaxing and casual - expect people to be wearing bathing suits and beach attire. A fairly steep walk from the parking lot and there is no parking at the restaurant except a few handicap spaces. The cocktails were creative and delicious. My only comment would be that the butter cake was not at all like the butter cake I'm used to having. It was more like a sponge cake with berries and caramel; the table still ate it, however!

Excellent food in a great location in the historic section of Crystal Cove State Park. We were able to walk in without reservations, but if you want to eat outside, I’d recommend making a reservation. The bean soup is very tasty, and the fish tacos were excellent. The ocean views are incredible! I wish we could have eaten outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made a great recommendation to me. You will need to park at the Crystal Cove paid parking lots ($15 for a day pass) and either walk over or take a shuttle.

You really could not pick a better spot. You will not get a better view, and I would think you would be hard for us to find a better beignet in Orange County, maybe California. The meals are immaculate, and our service was too. You will need to park in one of the paid parking lots and walk down the trail to The Spot but it is absolutely worth a walk; I would walk twice as far without hesitation. There is also a shuttle, but I am not sure how often it makes the run.

You are paying for location, location here. You can't beat the views from here and you eat basically on the beach. You can't get closer unless you pack your own food. There is always a wait for walk up so I would suggest you make a reservation. Even with a reservation, you may wait a little. We tried the ahi poki tacos from apps, ribs dinner plate, mushroom & truffle mac & cheese, fries and lemon mouse. The Ahi poki were good but the crust tasted a little stale to me. I wish they had more of a crunch but good. Great value for ribs dinner plate. The cream corn was more of corn, not overly creamy and the ribs had a lot of fat on it. They can't control that but I felt like it was more fat then meat. But good. Mushroom & Truffle mac & cheese was on the watery side. If you are thinking it's a thick, rich mac & cheese, it is not that. Fries were good-could have been a little hotter. And I thought I was ordering lemon mouse cake but it was more of a mouse cup. Overall, good dinner and fun to treat yourself once in awhile.

We enjoyed an amazing breakfast on the beach! The Beignets are to die for. Service was exceptional! This is such a cute rustic place, right on the beach. We loved all the food and enjoyed a great walk in the beach after breakfast. Parking is a little far away, but they do run shuttles. We chose to walk the state park walking trails to get there instead. Just note that there is a steep set of stairs to get to the restaurant if you walk the trail. But we didn’t feel it was too difficult. All in all super amazing breakfast experience and one we would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Perfect place for lunch on the beach at Crystal Cove. Food is simple but good quality and well executed, very friendly service. Recommend the grilled mahi fish tacos (large fish portions!) and the turkey club sandwich (not a typical stacked club, but on a roll. The turkey was excellent thick cut).

I had a wonderful breakfast — I started with an espresso that was smooth and bold, the eggs Benedict were perfectly poached with rich, creamy hollandaise that wasn’t too heavy. Salt Creek Grille OC, located just moments from the stunning Salt Creek Beach, has recently reopened under new ownership with a refreshed look and an updated menu. The restaurant maintains its classic charm while introducing modern twists to its American Steakhouse roots. Guests can expect high-quality steaks, hand-cut seafood, and crafted cocktails alongside fresh seasonal salads, sides, and delectable desserts. The exterior has been updated to include a separate play area for both adults and kids.
I've taken the family a few times now. It seems like the outside dining area has improved each time. The Sunday brunch was amazing. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the cornhole boards in the sand area were a super nice touch and really added to the "family friendliness" feel. Highly recommend for a nice weekend outdoor eating experience. 👌🏽

The BEST hangout place in south of OC for all ages! The food is great with many fresh options for adults and kids. They have many entertainment options on some weekdays and weekends, follow their instagram and you’ll know what nights. Their line dancing night was super fun. The play area for the kids is a big plus. Easy reservation through open table. I don’t remember the last time we all had so much fun going out for dinner. Cannot wait to go back!

The ambience was fantastic. Carson, the server was absolutely amazing, Very attentive, sweet and funny. The band and music was perfect, great songs, very mellow. The manager Don approached us and we thought he was very kind and polite making sure we were taken care of. I ordered the tuna tower and the baby spinach salad and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict, and it was very good but The central part of the dish is the Canadian bacon and it was way wafer too thin, you could barely see it and taste it, so he said he would never order that dish again. Anyway, we loved our Memorial Brunch there. Well done Carson!

Super fire! What a beautiful establishment! The staff was great!!!!! Martini was out of this world!!!!! And the buritto was super bomb. I would say, the red sauce was the only sauce that needed to be on that bad boy! Maybe some of the green as an accent and aesthtic, but the red was where it was at! Can't wait to go back and try out more of what they have to offer! And also hear the love pianos! Gotta go if you haven't!

Expensive, but food is good! Outside area invites dogs on leash & kids to run around. Fire pits & lit up trees. Our server Christopher B was great! Loud inside with live music in bar, hard to hear at table...but, it was a Friday night & busy. Sourdough bread as appetizer was rubber like....don't order. But, Salmon & Filet & Chicken dish was good! Fun atmosphere!

I got there at 6:00 and was seated right away! Two friends joined within 15 minutes. Our server took our drink orders after awhile which took another 20 minutes to receive. We had to keep asking where they were...A long wait for not being too busy. By 7:20 p.m. our server took our order. I was the first to order but the last to be served a salad. My friends kept getting their meals cold so they had to bring them twice, all the while I have no food. I didn't receive my salad until after 8:30 p.m.! The salad was okay but very small for $ 26! I've eaten here before and the food was good and the service was fine but this experience really has me wondering if it will be the same the next time.... It's a good place for music. Our server was sweet and attentive but it seemed like the Bar and Kitchen were holding her up. You def get faater service sitting at the bar I've noticed. I'm in the top 10% of nationwide restaurant reviewers on Google with over 6 million views..... If I could get some advice to newer management, it would be to increase your portions on your salads or lower the cost. This is a very inexpensive meal to make. I didn't dine inside and so I'm not sure how prompt they were that night but I would suggest some more training with the staff, kitchen and outside bar on delivery times. Maybe it was just an off night, idk... hoping to try it again... PS .. the desert was very pretty and definitely large enough to share 👍

Came here to celebrate my 8 year wedding anniversary. This is my first time ever eating at this restaurant. My wife and I both ordered the braised short rib. Though it was good, I have to admit it tasted like a glorified pot roast and not like other pot roast I've had from other restaurants. The plate came with mashed potatoes, but felt like they chinced out on the portion size. Other than that, the atmosphere was great as well as the service. One last thing that I wanted to mention was that our server totally blessed us by bringing out a complimentary dessert because of us celebrating our anniversary. Kudos to the service!

A great American brunch spot with beautiful indoor and outdoor seatings. Of course they have great food with generous portion. It’s always crowded regardless of weekdays or weekend!! I had: 1. Pumpkin pancake 2. Old towne club - turkey, bacon 3. Eggs benedict 4. Nutella French toast

Cool place to eat in Orange County. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but there are a few public parking lots very close by. We got there at 9 am. There was plenty of public parking still. 2 minute walk from the restaurant. The restaurant was packed, from the time we got there until we left around 11 am. At 11 am, parking was full. They have a cool set up, inside and outside seating available, with heat lamps if needed. Service was great, friendly and welcoming. Delicious coffee. I did think that the food was a bit price for what you get. I ordered the French toast breakfast (4 pieces of toast, 2 bacons, and two eggs) for $18.50 I believe. I thought it was expensive, but maybe it is just me. I did enjoy the food and the atmosphere, but no, I was not full with my meal. I still had a great time there. Don’t know if I’ll come back, especially since I don’t live close by.

Such a cool diner in the heart of Old Town Orange! I ordered the eggs Benedict with the hash browns and everything was cooked perfectly. The portion of ham I got was large too! Inside, the restaurant resembles an old school diner and they also have a really nice patio too with lots of shade. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, delicious food, and the perfect location. I will definitely be back again.

Ordered the breakfast burrito; not great. Potatoes were undercooked and tasteless, inconsistent sizes of bell peppers, onions, and potatoes. One moment you’ll bite into diced veggies and potatoes, another moment you’ll bite into a huge chunk of potato, onions, and peppers (see photo below). Made the whole dish unappetizing and gross. The eggs and cheese were tasty but the bell peppers and onions overpowered everything and I had to spit it out multiple times. $20 for this was insane.

Category: Diner The first thing you see upon entering this very popular local haunt only a couple of blocks from the main drag are red leather booths, the black and white tiled floor, and the visible part of the kitchen. To the left is the largish dining room with booths, banquettes, and tables, mirrors along the long wall, and a high ceiling with mementos. The dining rooms are comfortable and homey, and would be good places to dine on a cooler day. The overall feel is of an upscale diner of yesteryear, where we would be regulars if we lived nearby. But if the weather is good, as it was when we visited, outside is where you want to be. The umbrellaed patio with rustic fence and overflowing flower boxes offers many tables, including a large double firepit table for a small group, and a lucky potbellied buddha sheltered by an old tree. There are also a few tables on the sidewalk outside the fence. The menu offers all of the usual suspects of breakfast and lunch diner fare with some South of the Border choices. My BLT was excellent and well balanced with equal amounts of B, L, and T. My four friends loved their dishes as well. Everything was well-prepared and well-presented, the service was excellent, and the setting was superb. YouTube's Chef's Apprentice

Unique spot for breakfast/lunch. And it’s packed early on Sunday. We sat in a back corner booth with a table of 5. Our waitress was very attentive and also patient with us taking our time to order. We tried the french toast, banana pancakes and country fried steak. Everything was delicious and so flavorful. The french toast was fluffy and had the perfect amount of cinnamon. The country fried steak was crunchy and the sausage gravy had great flavor too. The hashbrowns were cooked crispy. The mango lemonade wasn’t super sweet but very unique flavor. First mango lemonade i’ve ever had. Definitely recommend this place for aesthetics, good food and great service.

Great atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of this cafe. We waited 25 minutes during Sunday brunch hours and ate at the patio. It was nice to have the next door bakery and coffee to hold us over. The spot for cyclists to fuel, trust in the nice bikes outside of the shop. I loved the variety of the menu and drinks here. We enjoyed the breakfast burrito (wish it came with a side!), which came out quickly and was hot. Staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

This spot was pretty good! We tried the breakfast sandwich (excellent), banana fosters crape (pretty good but a bit pricey for only getting 1), Arnold Palmer (great!), and a cheese and peach danish (good but probably would have been better earlier in the day. Got their around 2 and were told we had to order take out even though we just stilll ate at one of the tables inside and were finished before they actually started clearing tables at 3pm so that was interesting🤷🏼‍♂️. Overall I’d come back a bit earlier in the day and eat here again!

Super friendly staff and very calm vibes! Not so rowdy inside and just enough space between tables! The patio can be a bit chilly (it's all in shade) so I chose to sit indoors. [FOOD:] Came out very hot, perfectly cooked and scrambled! The potatoes were a bit oily but the sourdough helped even everything out. The French Toast was also really warm and they weren't too bland nor too sweet. A solid good plate of french toast! [SERVICE:] Very quick and surprised how fast my food came out! Once you hear Mexican music from the back, you already know it's gonna be good. Lol The staff was also very friendly and patient with answering my questions and helping me find the restroom. Overall, will definitely come back! I had a great experience and my tummy is incredibly satisfied!

When I’m visiting my daughter in the Pasadena area, we love to have brunch with my brother and sister-in- law who live in San Clemente. We found Crema Cafe last year as our “meeting spot” and went back again last Sunday. Great location and service. We love the menu too as we all enjoy variety. My sister-in-law is vegan and loves the selection. We always have a reservation and they never rush us even though they are packed. We also respect their need to “turn the table”. We loved walking to the pier too! Beautiful spot!

Great place for a nice breakfast/ brunch. A local friend brought us here and we really liked it. She recommended to get here by 8 am to make sure we didn’t have to wait. It was worth waking up early on a Sunday! The coffee is delicious and they have free refills if you are eating here. The chicken pesto crepe was delicious 🤤 and it came with oven roasted potatoes. I also tried the roasted veggies Benedict and it was good, but the crepe was better! They also have nice pastries. My favorite was the raspberry pop tart, wow! We sat outside and really enjoyed our breakfast. I would come back and prices seems to be reasonable for the quality.

The service was great very attentive! The coffee we got was super sugary but they remade it for us. The Parisian Benedict didn’t taste as great as I hoped - it was nice to try something different but the whole thing is quite mushy in texture. The wait was pretty long but they have a good online waiting system through yelp, so we could walk around while we waited to be called for our table.

Nestled in the heart of Orange County, Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar is a culinary gem that celebrates modern cuisine through its commitment to local and seasonal ingredients. This vibrant eatery prides itself on using organic produce, sustainably sourced seafood, and humanely raised meats to craft dishes that are both innovative and delicious. The menu features an array of creative offerings such as honeynut squash, braised beef cheek, and a delightful basque cheesecake that showcases the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.
The food was spectacular, the drinks well made and the service was great! We stared off strong with the cornbread, and mac & cheese. We still talk about how amazing the cornbread with the honey butter was. Our main dishes were delectable, and ended off the night with the toffey pudding. We all agreed that it is a hidden gem of a dessert, it is decadently sweet and just perfect with the ice cream scoop. We will be coming back to this establishment to try out more of their amazing food.

Haven Craft is a bustling, contemporary restaurant in the heart of Orange. The host stand had a few issues finding and crediting us for our OpenTable reservation, and the service slacked a little toward the end of our meal, but in general it’s an inviting space with good food. The octopus dish was well cooked, albeit more of a tapas size than a main, and the arancini, cornbread, and sticky-toffee pudding were all delicious.

I am surprised their score isn’t a 5. I have been coming here for over 10 years, multiple times throughout the year and have never had a bad experience. Their food has always been fantastic and I am very particular about food quality. Also, they have the best ice cream in the Orange circle and maybe in OC. I’m an ice cream person, and their homemade ice cream blew me away. I was not expecting that. Go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food, had a good variety of dishes, had the Burger and it was exceptional it was a CRAFT burger , the hand made Salmon pasta was also on point with a spicy pesto. The beer selection is superior to most restaurants, The New Zealand is almost buttery with texture and brimmed with flavour. The rice beer was perfect for a thirst quencher, and the pilsner followed perfectly.

The restaurant looked great and had amazing reviews, so I decided to stop by while passing. I sat alone at the bar, but the two bartenders didn’t take my order for over 10 minutes — they were too busy talking with other staff. It wasn’t even busy, yet no one seemed to notice me. Hard to believe a place like this has such good reviews. Not a good spot if you’re dining alone at the bar. Really disappointing experience.

Haven is the gem of the Orange Circle, epic is saying quite a lot because there are a few delicious restaurants tucked away in the circle. O Sea, Gabbi’s, and Smoqued are also great for their respective styles, but Haven is the king of the hill. The attention to detail and preparation of their plates is on another level. The chicken liver toast is my favorite item on their menu and is a wonderfully creative dish. Thick cut french bread covered with chicken liver pate and topped with roasted strawberries and pickled mustard seeds. Some other standouts are their black truffle mac, duck confit, and octopus. They have the staples like a great hangar steak, but Haven really shines when they are doing what most restaurants cannot. One bummer that I just found last night is that they don’t do a complimentary birthday dessert! It’s a weird choice that I don’t agree with, but the rest of the restaurant is fantastic.

Moulin is a Parisian-style cafe that offers a true taste of France in California. With its glass counter displaying fresh pastries and classic plats du jour on the menu, the cafe exudes an authentic French ambiance. The founder, Laurent Vrignaud, created Moulin out of his love for the bistro culture he missed from his hometown in Montmartre, Paris.
I’m French and to be honest since I moved to Cali it’s been hard to find a legit French place. I mean an authentic tasting, no extra froufrou. Just legit great French authentic cuisine. Moulin is the first place to deliver on that note! And “cerise sur le gâteau” (yup, cherry on the cake) … several French people or French people actually worked there! The only difference with back home? I actually had great service 👀😅
Patrick V — Google review
This place is incredible! The pastries were so beautiful you almost didn’t want to eat them, almost! They tasted as amazing as they looked. My favorite by far was the lemon tart! Location and parking were easy, but do expect long lines.

This restaurant has the feel of a casual French bistro. The interior walls are decorated with a charming French-inspired design, while the patio—with its tables placed in an unstructured way—adds a touch of European character. Having lived in Italy and visited France several times, I find that this place brings back a little of that atmosphere, which is why I enjoy coming here from time to time. Most of the dishes are quite good, and I would especially recommend the desserts.

I was close by and decided to stop because of heavy rain. I am so glad I came here. Everything about my experience was amazing. The server let me pick where I wanted to sit. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I got the pork chops with apples, potatoes and green beans. So delicious and perfect for this weather. A cafe au lait rounded off the experience.

This is the best French café in OC, maybe even SoCal. Been coming here since the days when it was Pascal, the new management had definitely brought it up a notch or two. Their panini is out of this world, and it's not a complete visit without getting the pastries, from Kouign Amann, Baba au rhum, pear tart, croissant, macaron to finishing with cafe au lait. They also have this wonderful shop with French cookies to wine. While you're there, take advantage of the outdoor patio seating. It's not the most ideal being next to a busy parking lot, especially during the lunch rush hours.

Kid friendly. Good food all around. I was gonna grab yesterday’s day old pastries. But someone grabbed them before I could circle back and get it. Really enjoyed the Piedmontese potato salad, oxtail, and sausage. Yoghurt and eggs delicious too

Proper French bakery, which is tough to find in the U.S., but you’ll certainly pay a pretty penny for the experience. Has the vibes, the sounds, and the smells. Pastries and espresso drinks are top notch with a bit of the pretentious French attitude from the women working the cases to match!
Matthew G — Google review
Excellent! We had gone to two other French Bakeries on our OC excursion trip and then two other Moulin’s and they were closed. We found this Moulin in Newport Beach and they did not disappoint! This was by far the best French bakery than the others we have tried. We would definitely return.

Memphis Cafe is a well-loved eatery that has been serving up comforting Southern homestyle cooking for 25 years. The cafe offers a variety of dishes, with favorites including the savory and sweet chicken and waffles, as well as unlimited mimosas for weekend brunch. The ambiance is described as having a hip vibe with midcentury digs, featuring live music and DJs in the evenings. The menu boasts mouth-watering entrees such as Southern Eggs Benedict and Stuffed French Toast.
First visit here after co worker mentioned he knew a good place for " Southern Food ", as someone who grew up in the South I had to give it a shot. Food was all really great. The gumbo was flavorful, the Fried catfish was seasoned perfectly, the Hoppin John's and greens were spot on, the desert was extremely good too. Savanna the bartender was great too, attentive, engaging, friendly and actually spoke to ppl not just the regulars. Definitely will dine here again, nice vibe, clean, inviting and low key great food.

Food is delicious. Best catfish I've had in a long time. Right amount of spice, fried to perfection. Burger delicious, thick bacon along with gumbo fries. However, service was non-existent. I was given the bill while still eating. We didn't enjoy the ambiance this time, unlike last time we were here, the service and food were impeccable.

I have found a treasure in Costa Mesa, CA. This place is off the chain. The food was incredible. The service was amazing! The atmosphere was perfect. A HUGE shoutout to Honey. She was our server and her customer service was top notch. She recommended some fantastic dishes and we ordered based on what she told us and we WERE NOT disappointed. Thank you, Honey, for being knowledgeable enough of the menu to be able to recommend those dishes for us. She recommended the deviled eggs: excellent. Best I’ve ever had. She also recommended the potato cakes: totally amazing!! And we also ordered the red chilaquiles with pork belly and OMG: next level. If you’re in Costa Mesa, do yourself a favor and eat at Memphis. Wish we had a Memphis in TX! 😂❤️

Can't wait to come back here!! I'm looking forward to trying their gumbo, catfish, and meatloaf to start. Came here on a Sunday unplanned, last minute choice before 12pm it was busy. The inside is small and quaint and not much space, ended up sitting out side in the uncovered section. Which was not taken up or full yet. By the time the food came the rest of the benches had been assigned customers. So not sure if they take reservations but I'd call ahead if you want to sit inside or make sure you have enough space if you come with a group of people for brunch. Loved the food here. Didn't expect much when I came here, I've tried southern food at other places in California and had been disappointed half the time but this time I was not! I got the fried chicken and it was delicious! Loved the collard greens and the mashed potatoes as well. The chicken was on the bone, didn't even realize till later but was juicy and crispy and well seasoned. Ended up eating the whole meal. Also ordered the pulled pork sandwich and loaded potato pancakes which were really tasty and filling. Had to stop myself from finish them before my food came to me.

Went here for my birthday with my partner and had a great time. I grew up in the south so believe me when I say the fried chicken is good it is good. Waffles were perfect and my partner was super happy with his burger as well. Our server was kind and answered questions we had about the food no problem. Definitely would come again to try the catfish!

Stopped by Memphis Cafe for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! The food exceeded expectations—fresh ingredients, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Only got one picture of the food because it was so good! After our appetizer (amazing deviled eggs!) we jumped into breakfast. The portions were reasonably priced. Good service, good food, and not too long of a wait the day we went. The area does have limited parking (what doesn't in SoCal?), but we got lucky with the lot on the West side of the restaurant. Pretty classic diner food but made with love.

Kimmie’s is great. Been to this one several times along w the one in Brea. The quality of the food and service has always been top notch. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette w Avocado & Bacon (keto). The pic does not do it justice, tasted fantastic. Probably because I ordered to go. I don’t love the price, but guessing rent in Downtown Orange along with what I hope is acceptable salaries for the staff is the reason. If you’ve never been, don’t discount it for a good breakfast.

If you want to have mediocre food with gas station coffee with a bunch of bearded white old men then go here 😂 maybe I should have gotten the French toast but doubt it was much better. The waitress is very attentive to you if you’re an old man. This place is weird. The blasting of Christian radio with commercials gave it the creepy red hat vibe, I am sure they seek. I was the only woman in the place for a reason. Next time I run out.

Fable & Spirit, located on Lido Island, is a whimsical restaurant with a captivating interior that reflects the colors of the ocean and features vintage accents. The menu offers award-winning dishes like 12-Hour Kurobuta Porchetta and Seared Diver Scallops, complemented by wine recommendations from the sommelier and unique cocktails. This modern American tavern has earned a Bib Gourmand designation for its attention to detail and unique take on pub grub.
One of the best dining experiences in a while. Great ambience, lively but not too loud. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Started with the Guinness brown bread which was as good as anything we have had in Ireland. Blue prawns to share were perfectly cooked, and accompanying sauce was very flavorful. Mains of salmon and confit chicken were excellent. Top it off with a great pint of Guinness! Highly recommended.

This upscale restaurant absolutely nails the aesthetic. The atmosphere is chic and vibrant, making it a great spot for a stylish night out. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe. Things started off promisingly with a great bread service — fresh, warm, and flavorful. The rabbit dish missed the mark for me; the flavor and texture just didn’t come together. The fish, on the other hand, was decent — nicely cooked and seasoned, but nothing particularly memorable.
Sahar M — Google review
Visited for our anniversary. We weren't particularly hungry so we ordered some of the small plates, which actually looked more exciting to us. Server kept asking if we'll be ordering more food, which wasn't very pleasant. Food was good but nothing stood out as memorable. Highly recommend the octopus. 10/10 for the interiors and ambience. 8/10 for the food and drinks. 8/10 for the personal interaction.
Ramy T — Google review
Nestled among the iconic Lido street in Newport, Fable & Spirit certainly can stake a claim as one of its best. All of the dishes were well seasoned and cooked, but our favorite was definitely the Pork Porchetta. Nearly falling apart with a touch of your fork, it’s got a great mix of meat and fat that just melts in your mouth. Add in a little bit of soft and truffle-y polenta and I couldn’t help but ask for more A great, helpful staff and a refined, yet still friendly space really knots this place together
Mika A — Google review
The tables are too closed together, I got a 2 person table next to a table of 6 it was quite loud. I wish I was seated in a quiet corner. Other than that the food was not bad, I liked the mussels and pork belly. The rabbit was lacking flavors, the veggies had no imagination and should be served with the other food that was ordered. I did not enjoy sitting there eating couple plates of vegetables only.
Yen B — Google review
Fable & Spirit hits all the right notes—coastal elegance, delicious food, and service that makes you feel like a regular from the moment you sit down. Nestled in Lido Marina Village, it has that effortless Newport charm with a chic Marina vibe, especially if you grab a seat outside. Bonus points for the free parking lot tucked away in the back—huge perk. Let’s talk about the food lineup. The Kale Romaine Caesar was an absolute standout—tossed with black garlic, capers, cherry tomatoes, pita crisps, and crunchy croutons. I added the sous-vide chicken breast, and it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also shared the roasted cauliflower, the woodfired pizzetta with a perfectly blistered crust, and the Alaskan halibut, which was buttery, flaky, and cooked to perfection. The burger? Unreal. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served with a side that somehow made fries feel gourmet. The citrus salad was bright and refreshing—exactly what you want as a palate cleanser in between bites. And don’t sleep on the bread—it comes out warm, with a perfect crust, and is just begging to be devoured. I sipped on a Last Word cocktail to start—smooth, herbaceous, and beautifully balanced—and we wrapped it all up with the warm bread pudding, which was rich, comforting, and worth every bite. Big love to Munoz (amazing GM) for his incredible service and kind, upbeat energy. He made the night feel extra special. Fable & Spirit is one of those places where everything just clicks—and you start planning your next visit before you’ve even left the table.
Maryam — Google review
Great restaurant and service. I prefer to sit inside than outside for the full experience but they only had reservations available outside this time. The citrus salad (not pictured) was excellent as was the fish and chips and burger. I would definitely return. Ps Chad gave great wine recommendations.

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have better reviews, but I’m a fan of local eateries that have excellent food! By all means this place is just that! ☺️ I’ve been searching for a decent breakfast spot around Irvine area that would deliver & found no avail, until I found this little gem. Me & my associates are obsessed with many of their items. Their Eggs Benedict, French Toast, & Two Eggs are the go to! Im a fan of French Toast & have not found a place that does it perfect like MUSTARD CAFE! 😍😍😍 I’m trying to work around the menu to try everything and so far it’s been wonderful! Thank you so much for the delicious food! Please keep up the great work! I can’t wait to actually visit this location for breakfast! I love this place!

Delicious breakfast and they serve it ALL day. Great omelettes and they know how to make hash browns with butter instead of canola oil or some other low quality & unhealthy oil. Great service too!
Kelli R — Google review
I recently tried the egg and cheddar panini at Mustard cafe, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the bread used in the panini wasn't a true panini - it was dry, hard, and lacked the crispy texture that is expected from a good panini. Additionally, the egg inside the panini was far from fluffy and seemed overcooked, making it difficult to chew and swallow. Lastly, the cheddar cheese was dry and lacked flavor, adding nothing to the overall taste of the dish. Overall, I found the egg and cheddar panini to be a lackluster dish that didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying breakfast or lunch option.

Bro. Mustard Café is not a restaurant. It’s a religious experience. I walked in and Adrian was gripping the mustard bottle like it was forged in the fires of Mt. Effoc. Dude looked me dead in the eyes and whispered “67” like it was the launch code for enlightenment. Tuff was in the corner eating straight mango slices with no expression, just pure raw energy. I ordered the mustard–mango fusion sandwich and I swear on my grippers, time slowed down. First bite: boom. Tastebuds ascended. Second bite: my ancestors appeared and handed me a jar of Dijon. Third bite: I blacked out and woke up in 67 B.C. watching Julius Caesar slip on a mango peel. The chairs got GRIP. Once you sit, you’re locked in like a Final Destination melee match—no items, just mustard. Effoc was in the back blending smoothies so loud I thought the café was taking off like a NASA shuttle. Final verdict: 67/10. Mustard Café isn’t just food, it’s a way of life. Adrian is the gatekeeper, mangoes are the path, and mustard is the truth. Enter with caution, leave with sticky hands and eternal wisdom.

Great brunch, wonderful location and staff. The coffee is EXCELLENT. My cappuccinos competes with ones from Italy or France. I asked what coffee they use; the chef roasts her own. Of course she does. I came back the next day for another. By the way, dog friendly and kind too.

Found this place by a reference. No waiting time but the table is very dirty. We ordered three main courses, Ube French toast, chicken waffle, and BLT salad. First, the taste is really plain. Nothing special about the recipe. Price is on the higher side. The salad has only a few small pieces of bacon which cost $16. Overall, this place doesn’t match my expectations. We drove about 30 mins here to enjoy just a very common brunch, which was an insane decision. Can easily have a much better experience at NEP cafe just close by.

VERDICT: An excellent choice for lunch. FOOD: The Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich holds immense complexity and hits all the notes in perfect pitch. The crisp of the chicken comes unencumbered by residual oil, and the crunch is pleasant but not overwhelming. The crispy tots are delicious and play a good second chair to the sandwich. DRINK: Beer on tap for $5 is a victory all its own. Great choices. I drank the hazy and the lager. SERVICE: The server was good, handling the misfire of a drink made incorrectly by remaking it herself (to an excellent product). They also forgot to make one of the sandwiches, which they made and comped and gave us a pie. While this visit was less-than-ideal in these respects, the staff were not defensive or rude but rather apologized and made it right. I can give grace to struggles regarding their software (the source of the woes) as the food was just killer.
Jaredin P — Google review
We got the fried chicken waffle, pork belly, Ube toast, and grilled avocado salad. The food was nicely presented, but was very mid. The waffle and toast were not flavorful, and the waffle was especially soggy. The pork belly was also very bland, with the rice being very soggy too. The avocado salad however was good, but portion was very small. The service was pretty good, but we did find a few items that made the dining experience less than satisfactory. There was white hair in the food and the cups used for water were rusted. Upon asking the waiter, they said that the cups have been rusted for 5 years now, with the owners aware. And yet they have not changed them. Overall the experience was very mediocre. It was not really worth the hour wait for the table. I would look elsewhere for a brunch place.

What a great place to eat!!! First shout out to our server Jessica, very sweet and knowledgeable. We took her recommendations with zero regrets! Their margaritas are delicious!! Very smooth and flavorful. One of the better margaritas I've had. The chilaquiles are fire. Jessica suggested the green sauce, and she nailed it. The breakfast burrito was killer as well. I got it "wet" and it hit every spot. Definitely will be coming back!!

Parking is a bit tough but we got lucky and got a spot nearby. Also Google Maps took me to the back of the restaurant. Checked in and the employee said the wait was 30 minutes and it was actually 37 minutes so it was solid estimating. We ordered the Ube French Toast, Ginger Peach soda and Sisig Burrito. I really liked the Sisig burrito, had great crunch with the chicharron but nice soft pork belly. Ube French Toast had the right amount of sweetness and the Ginger Peach was nice.

Breakfast was good. No wait time, probably because we were the first one there on a Sunday morning. The staff was very attentive and full of energy. Love all their vibes. I was skeptical about the Thai chilaquiles but it was actually good. You can taste the flavor and the chips were fresh. Of course i had the mimosa and it was delicious, it's hard to ruin a mimosa. 🤷🏽‍♀️. My husband ordered the french toast and he loved it! He is more of a sweet kind of person and the french toast hit the spot. I wouldn't recommend the hash brown. It was very crunchy and Oily. Almost like you taken a bite of oil. Did not sit well with my stomach. This place is great for a a quick bite, since the service was fast and efficient.

Burnt Crumbs in Irvine is a popular counter-serve eatery known for its hearty sandwiches and shaded patio. Originally gaining fame as a food truck, it has become a go-to spot for creative, handcrafted gourmet sandwiches like the crispy spicy pork belly and Nashville hot chicken. Owner-chef Paul Cao's Spaghetti Grilled Cheese has garnered attention, but the spotlight now shines on the famously fluffy souffle pancakes available in original, blueberry, or strawberry flavors.
This is such a great brunch spot, their service was great and the speednof the food was impressive, specially during a busy Sunday. I ordered the Strawberry Pancakes and they were some of the softest, fluffiest and delicious pancakes i have ever had. You have to try these if you come here, additionaly their fried potatoes were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered the breakfast burrito without meat and it also tasted just as good as it looks. I would highly recommend this place!

Finally made it here on a weekday to avoid the extensive lines. Glad I didn’t wait an hour on a weekend. Food was good and was surprised how fast it hit the table after our order. Simple dishes here but tasty. Disappointed that there are two coffee options, hot and Vietnamese, this was a miss for me and anyone who may want an espresso beverage. Enjoyed it overall but wouldn’t wait in the line for it.

We came here during a soccer tournament do the lines were very long but worth the wait. We love these pancakes!! So light and fluffy. We came here twice during our short weekend there. My only complaint is that there is not a place in the Bay Area like this! I wish they would open up a store in NorCal!!

Solid place with super interesting souffle pancakes. I got the peach ones - despite peach in everything, the flavor wasn't overwhelming. The pancakes had a texture not unlike bao buns, but personally I preferred this texture. Great food. Ordering was at the counter, but food was brought to the table - the servers were great, but the service model isn't my favorite.

Absolutely AMAZING! The food was delicious and the wait time surprisingly prompt for the amount of people that were there. The reason the atmosphere got a4 for me is because it's next to many other businesses and very adjacent to a busy parking lot, so, it's pretty busy! But, you don't notice add much because your food tastes soooo good! I'm going back for SURE!

Then I saw their menu and there is something for everyone. I went with a seasonal pancake flavor peach. I was able to find seating for one inside. They also have seating outs side. They also have restrooms inside. Got my food quickly. Would definitely recommend this place.

I finally found the viral jiggly pancakes in Irvine! Burnt Crumbs has been here for a hot minute, y'all better not come for me for only finding out about it now, but hey, better late than never. I had to try their bestselling flavor that's topped with fresh strawberries and strawberry cream, and the souffle pancakes definitely hit the spot. And you know the moment when they bring out a dish for the table next to you and you're like I want that, immediately? Their Classic club sandwich... I was struggling to eat this because of how HUGE it is, I thought it was skewered with a freakin' chopstick lol, and comes with a HEAPING amount of fries. Thanks for reading! ^-^

This is my second time coming to this place since early March of this year. I was greeted by a very friendly and kind person who helped me get the right order I needed to start my day. His name is Goose and his service was more than great. It’s when we have certain individuals like him that help build the welcoming atmosphere and that’s what I felt coming back to Burnt Crumbs. If I lived closer to Irvine, I’d be going to this place on a regular basis. Their Souffle pancakes are to die for.

The self-described women-owned business prides itself on friendly staff and delicious food, including specialties like Bacon and Fried Egg Sandwich on Brioche and Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes with Housemade Honeycomb Butter.
Awesome little place here in Irvine, Ca. Plenty of seating available inside and outside, same as parking. 1st time here, on a Tuesday morning around 8 am, before the rush at around 9 or so. Super friendly staff, very kind and helpful, excellent suggestions. I had the burrito and a friend had the essentials plate. Very delicious and tasty breakfast. Zero complaints. I did also enjoyed my macchiato! They also have some pastries and other drinks (Including Kombucha). Excellent experience!

We visited this cute breakfast place yesterday while we were in town. It was super packed for a Sunday morning with a long line wrapped around the building. It was insane but obviously a good sign. The menu was definitely geared toward the healthier side. I ordered the Nutrition Bowl and added an egg on top for extra protein. I also got the iced strawberry matcha latte, which had been mentioned several times in the reviews. The Nutrition Bowl was very filling and tasted clean and healthy. I lost count of how many people stopped me mid-bite to ask what I ordered because it looked so good. My boyfriend got the lemon ricotta pancakes, and he was over the moon especially because of the honeycomb butter. The line had gotten even longer by the time we left. The only downside is that we live farther. We were just in town running errands, and I happened to find this place based on its great reviews and rightfully so. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Great breakfast spot with friendly staff. Quick service and tasteful breakfast items from a robust meny. You can either sit inside the restaurant or at an outside foodcourt. We ordered the essentials (all american breakfast type of thing) and cali chicken sandwich, both good stuff. I recommend this place.

What's not to like about Everyday Eatery? A cute little restaurant in the middle of a plaza, this brunch/breakfast joint is really an unexpected delight. With a limited, but delicious drink selection and a healthy breakfast/brunch menu, Everyday Eatery has the core morning favorites down solid. Caffeine? We had the rose cardamon latte, which we ordered because it sounded unique and exciting. And it was so nicely balanced with the rose flavor not overwhelming the drink and the cardamon adding a nice earthy dimension. They are also very accommodating with their caffeinated drinks, providing non-dairy options and decaf as well (a huge plus for us caffeine-sensitive and lactose intolerant folks). Savory bites? Their breakfast burrito looks unassuming, but it's packed with flavor, gooey with cheese, whipped in with fluffy eggs, and the bacon in my burrito was nice and crispy. The salsa was perfectly acidic and not too spicy. Hearty and delicious, the burrito was a winner. Sweet bites? The riccota lemon pancakes were lovely. With soft and thinner texture, the pancakes don't taste cheesy or too lemony, but boy was it tasty. It was sweet but not too sweet, just delicate enough while still being filling, and the fruit toppings were high quality and very fresh. In a world where many brunch menus are built more for the gram than the flavor, Everyday Eatery is a reminder that brunch IS not just pretty but delicious.
Yoshi B — Google review
Amazing, amazing customer service. They helped us very quickly, got the food out fast, and when our kid asked for all the toppings/syrup on the side of their pancakes they didn't hesitate to do it. We got a Spanish Latte which was very sweet with a solid punch of espresso at the end of each sip and pistachio rose which has a very floral flavor and a more mild sweetness. Both coffees were great overall and would definitely grab again. For the meals we got the bacon & fried egg sandwich and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The sandwich also came with a side of breakfast potatoes, the sandwich meal was super filling and had a hint of spice with the sauce, jam, and jalapenos which really hit. The pancakes were good but the fixings really made it better, would personally say my kids waffle had better texture/flavor than the pancakes. Overall a perfect, quick, cute little breakfast joint with very nice outdoor/indoor options.

I was very excited to try something new when I was out of town, especially a brunch place (my favorite meal of the day)! Everyday Eatery did not disappoint! This place is so cute! The plants, the natural sunlight, the outdoor seating to accommodate overflowing customers, the fresh ingredients, the generous portion size… I can go on and on about how much I enjoyed my experience! This will be permanently added to my itinerary whenever I travel to Irvine!

I was excited to try this place because everything looked so pretty, heathy and delicious from the pictures. We went around 10ish and there wasn’t a long line but there wasn’t any indoor seating available. Plenty of seating outside though. We ordered at the counter and got our food at a reasonable time. They all looked pretty and the portion size was reasonable but not many dishes were tasty. The savory dishes like breakfast burrito, avocado toast, scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich were ok and better than sweet dishes. The French toast and lemon ricotta pancakes were bland, looked better than taste. They were not worth the price. Overall, it’s not my choice for brunch again. .

Stacks Pancake House is a Hawaiian restaurant that serves giant pancakes made from a variety of east and west flavors, as well as homemade coconut syrup. The savory items on the menu are also delicious, with dishes such as banana macadamia nut pancakes and French toast made with Captain Crunch cereal.
Love this place! It's such a treat. Lots of good choices. We had the veggie omelet with pancakes and split it between the two of us. It's SO much food! My hubby had the meat lovers with fruit. Coffee is great too. She had chai. This place is definitely worth the price.

This is a fantastic casual spot for brunch! We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was enjoyable. The Club House Avocado was especially tasty, with fresh avocado and flavorful turkey. The Stacks Cheeseburger stood out thanks to the rich combination of caramelized onions and Portuguese sausage. And for something sweet, the ube pancake hit the spot—perfect for satisfying my sweet tooth!

Food I feel like many different items were added to the menu the last decade or so. I did enjoy the omelet with avocado, banana pancakes were great, and the potatos needed some seasong. As well as the kalua pork needed some more flavor. Service Very fast service from all the pretty ladies that work here. Our food was served pretty quick as we only had 3-4 groups in front of us when we placed our orders, but our family members that joined us later had to wait a bit longer as they had about 8-10 groups of people in front of them when they placed their ordered. Atmoshphere Nice atmosphere, just one of the customers was a bit loud when talking. Had a great time, just feel some of the food items need some improvement. Also, if possible add lemon or limes to your inventory, and add freshly squeezed smoothies/juices to your menu. Thank you. 🙂

So much variety of menu to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are many kinds of pancakes, French toast and waffles on the menu. Also breakfast burrito available and many more. The pineapple coconut pancake was delicious. Food served pretty quickly. There are indoor and outdoor tables.

I love this place. My kids said here pancakes are the best in Irvine, and my sister said here coffee is so good. Staff are so kind too. Also, very clean and the song that comes out when you eat inside is really good.

The diner is just a diner. Feels super basic. But the food options are good and it's clean. Order at the counter then take a number, grab utensils, and sit down. The food was fresh and tasty. Portions were good for the price and the staff were attentive and my coffee mug was never less than half empty. 😉👍 One thing that was pretty disappointing was that the Belgian waffle has nothing on top except a dusting of powdered sugar. Would not get that again...it was SO disappointing. Especially for how much they charge for a bit of dough and sprinkle of sugar. Would definitely go back and recommend.

With an impressive menu that includes mouthwatering options like Chilaquiles and Avocado Benedict, every dish is crafted with creativity and flavor in mind.
Santa Ana Brunch Club has the best Fried Chicken and Hokkaido French Toast breakfast. The chicken is flavorful and fried crispy to perfection. The Hokkaido French Toast is deliciously cinnamon with perfect sweetness. The egg is served sunny side-up and oozing with goodness. The food is served hot, so be patient as good food takes time to prepare. The service is fast and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend trying the Santa Ana Brunch Club. See you soon.

This place surprised me and totally judged this place before walking in. The location is quite odd and was in a random spot on the street. But man, I was completely wrong. The food is was absolutely amazing. I would definitely come back to this spot to have some brunch! We came here after Church with a bigger group and everyone’s meal was pretty dang good. First up, Bubbies Fried Chicken and Sourdough pancakes. It looked amazing coming out and had high hopes for flavor. That fried chicken was bomb. Perfect crunch and batter to chicken ratio. Chicken was super moist and did not even need any kind of ketchup, the batter had great flavor. The sourdough pancakes were the guilty pleasure of some healthy batter pancakes and good thickness and dough. Not chewy or soggy either! Next is the Fried Sandwich! I don’t even know what it was called but it was on the Japanese toast I believe, that was airy and fluffy but also crispy and crunchy at the same time. Especially with the fried chicken, this thing was just. It was good and ate the whole thing easily. The potatoes, eh, not the best and way too big. Like undercooked almost Next is the steaks and fries! The chimichurri was good! Steak was a bit cold and the fries were nice and crispy! Nothing amazing but just good overall for steak and fries. Wife got the burger lettuce wraps and said it was good overall! The meat was perfectly medium rare and great juiciness to it! The ketchup they have is like a tangy Asian fusion type ketchup that has a little kick and honestly was really good! Highly recommend partly with the burger, fries, and sandwich! Lastly the smoked brisket scramble! This thing was a beast of a plate and honestly really good as well! The brisket was very juicy and tender. Paired with the potatoes and pickled onions, was a solid bite! Overall, service was awesome and the guys there were kind and on top of it! Unfortunately the A/C was not working and we were dying inside of how hot it was, but food made up for it for sure! High recommended for a brunch spot!

The place is kinda hidden among industrial surroundings, looks simple and unique. I fallen love with the kindness of staff in here. Super friendly, like your next door buddy has your back if you want to add or exclude something in your dish, literally made me feel heard and special. Thank you so much guys ❤️ Here are 2 dishes I ordered with a special request 1. Avocado toast with extra egg 2. Pancake stuck without sugar powder and with cream on a side I personally liked pancakes as they are, no need to add anything that’s how good they are

Cute brunch place! I think they change the menu often but if you can, the fried chicken is a must! The queso is also really good with the potatoes. Don’t get me started on the cinnamon rolls! Everything here was delicious! Highly recommend.

Decided to try this brunch spot with my honey, and did not regret it. Kevin the head Chef, was very welcoming and treated us like family. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend the hot n crispy chicken Sando and the horchata latte. Packed with flavor for sure. The house potatoes are also very soft and seasoned very well.

The food was delicious! Best scrambled eggs I've ever had. I got the city market plate with scrambled eggs, fried pork belly strips, and French toast. We all shared the cinnamon roll. We also got the breakfast burrito and patty melt with crispy potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their food. The server was great! You have to order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. We will be back!

We ate here because we were waiting for auto service at the nearby dealership. It had been well reviewed so we went for breakfast. It's in a very industrial area, but don't let that deter you. There is a small parking lot behind the building. The food was excellent and the service was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. We split the City Plate, French toast, scrambled eggs, and crispy pork belly. That was plenty of food for my wife and me. Be sure to sample their "hot" sauces. Not all are hot, but all are good. Definitely a good find. We strongly recommend it.

We came for a late morning Saturday brunch. We ordered the Belgian Waffle with strawberries and cream, eggs and bacon on the side and Spinach Egg White Scramble with hash browns and toast. Great food, excellent friendly service, and a cool atmosphere. I gotta say there is one thing not quite right with Wilma's Patio, just one thing, probably not a big deal to others, but to me, it's hard to get past it. The sign out front, there is an apostrophe before the possessive 's' and unfortunately the sign maker created a huge open space between Wilma and the s. As a graphic designer, this is painful. A little kerning would solve it.

Get ready to be skimped out. Ordered a full Caesar salad. Received a half salad in a full salad bowl. The salad was 1/4 of the size of the plate. Very disappointed. Spent a little over 100 dollars on 4 salads 1 sandwich and dessert. Sand which portion was ok. Dessert was delicious. But man that salad was so skimpy from everything to the 4 croutons to the 5 thin pieces of chicken. I’ve been to plenty Panera breads and this one definitely has the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine what the half order looks like.

A great option across the street of Disneyland Resort. Solid food and drink options at reasonable prices. The dining area is clean and relaxing. A good option to take a break from all the chaos across the street. Staff is friendly and welcoming. My go to spot with staying at the resort. Be sure to sign up for their app and membership, it pays for itself with the first two cups.

This place is huge. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for the many families having breakfast before going to Disneyland. The line to place your order does get long, or there are kiosks to place your order as well. I recommend ordering through the app to make things a little stress free. The people who work there are super helpful when looking to pick up your order. The tables are cleaned right away to accommodate new customers. It was a little hot when we were there, like they didn't have the ac on, which can be a little uncomfortable. Overall, it's a great place to go to. It's convenient if you're staying at one of the hotels nearby.

A nice small café with a boutique attached. It felt to me like an original breakfast place with unique menu items. Your order at the counter where you can also see the daily specials, and then you sit where you want. The food actually came pretty fast. The hot chocolate was nice - it wasn’t too thick and didn’t seem over sweet. The foam was actually nice to have! There is an effort in presentation as you can see from the pictures. We all liked it. I tried a bit of the swedish pancakes, it is very sweet and heavy as you can expect, but enjoyable! The Eggs Anna were definitely original with that sauce. It was very interesting. I’m not gonna say it’s the best thing I ever had, but it was good. It was farmers’ market, but we didn’t struggle to find a place to sit. For parking, you need to find in the city - but, the place is not far from the main areas, so convenient. You just walk a few blocks. Overall, a cool spot - we were not sure where to go and wanted a more local place. So, I guess we found it!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the vegetable omelet at Anastasia Cafe, and it was nothing short of delightful! The omelet was perfectly fluffy and cooked to golden-brown perfection, showcasing a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables. Each bite was a burst of flavor, with the spinach, bell peppers, and onions harmonizing beautifully. Accompanied by a colorful array of sides, including sweet cantaloupe and refreshing banana slices, the presentation was as inviting as the taste. The use of high-quality ingredients was evident, making this dish not only satisfying but also nutritious. The atmosphere of the cafe added to the experience, with its cozy ambiance and friendly service. If you’re looking for a wholesome and delicious breakfast option, I highly recommend the vegetable omelet at Anastasia Cafe. It’s a perfect way to start your day!

Guests can also partake in eco-adventures at the Eco-Adventure Center led by expert naturalists, featuring whale-watching excursions, sea hikes, bodyboarding trips, and an Eco Artist program.
Had the most incredible stay to celebrate our engagement. The recently renovated rooms are really nice and modern but still feel like a Ritz Carlton. The service was amazing and couldn’t walk around for too long without someone approaching us and asking if we needed anything. But I will say the highlight was booking Ian at Atventure for a complimentary photography session. He captured shots that our friends told us belong in a magazine. Definitely recommend working with him as we went in thinking we would barely have 10 photos we wanted to purchase, but left having a hard time cutting our favorites down to 20. All around a great trip. Can’t wait to come back!
Natalie J — Google review
The service has completely gone downhill for the money that they demand. This was closer to a low-tier 4-star hotel experience. They’ve clearly prioritized corporate events over individual stays/retreats. Our room was located right behind a boombox where they were hosting events in the evenings. We could not enjoy our “beach view” staring at the back of people and a boombox blasting into the night. If you text the valet like the ticket says to, the valet ignore it and you still have to wait for your car at the entrance (even if they’re not busy). We requested a simple accommodation for a child, which was ignored and not done when we arrived. A deep tissue massage at the spa is a borderline scam. It’s 300% priced over market and the massage was more like a light body touch rather than a deep tissue massage. We complained about all of this and they simply ignored our complaints like it didn’t happen. We’ve come here for more than a decade as a retreat, however the service has degraded so much that we will not be returning.

You’re not going to be mad about any part of this hotel. However, there are a few bright spots that deserve recognition! Joel, at Raya, is simply one of the greatest servers I think we’ve ever dined with. You are going to want to request him when you eat here. He is exactly what I imagine the Ritz Carlton hotels have built their reputation on. By the end of our lunch (we ate there several times after becuse he was so kind to us), we literally felt like he was one of the best parts of the stay. Way to go. Overall great hotel and super convenient.

Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Service The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is one of those places that never fails to impress. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately makes you feel at home. The ocean views are absolutely stunning, and every corner of the property is immaculate. The service here is consistently top-notch — everyone you encounter is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying a drink on the terrace, or taking a stroll along the beach, everything feels effortless and perfectly curated. It’s the ideal mix of laid-back coastal California and refined luxury. My wife and I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit.

We had a wonderful experience at this location, which is perfectly situated on the water. Amazing views, interior design, and conveniently on a trolley stop if you like that sort of thing. Very kid-friendly. Most of our staff experiences were very good, but we did encounter some staff who didn’t seem very customer-service oriented (at the outdoor dining location and near the beach chair trailer), and the property needed more tending at times (e.g., towels left on top of a garbage and an old French fry on the ground for days, etc). For the brand and price, we would have expected more consistent excellence. However, we still had a wonderful time here and felt the location was incredible. Some of the staff at the pool and in the lobby/reception area were incredibly kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay for two nights to celebrate our joint anniversaries for us and our family members who also booked their rooms on same nights. Beautiful location, bars, and restaurants. Outdoor bar facing the Pacific Ocean can get busy and full during sunset hours - perhaps by non hotel staying guests. There was a huge wedding going on outdoors under our window/balcony facing the beach on hotel premise for few hours during the day but it did not bother us. September can be a busy wedding month.

One of the best hotel stays we have had in all our travels. The staff were all excellent and accommodating as one would expect. Rooms were beautiful, views were beautiful, on property dining was very enjoyable. Of course for the Ritz, it’s not for those who are budget conscious.

If you’re looking for a peaceful luxury stay, this is not the place. This hotel is an event venue first and a luxury hotel second. Nearly every night there were loud parties on the lawns that went late into the evening — not only making it impossible to relax, but also completely ruining what should have been a beautiful view. I will never stay here again, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re expecting a true luxury experience.

Mimi's Cafe is a casual dining chain that offers a mix of French and American comfort food in a cozy, rustic setting. The menu features classic dishes like pot roast and chicken pot pies, as well as a variety of options for kids. Early birds can enjoy a leisurely breakfast near the park with favorites like waffles and omelets. The cafe also boasts an excellent brunch selection with a French flair, making any mealtime an event to savor.
Anytime we go to Disneyland, this Mimi’s is a DEFINITE stop for us! We love the food and the service is fantastic! Hugo was our waiter today and was outstanding! He was incredibly kind, super helpful, and made our experience such a great way to end our trip! We will for sure come back to this location every time we are in Anaheim!

You can definitely feel the decline in patrons that eat at Mimi’s Cafe. This location used to have 30-45 min waits on a Saturday night. 10 min tops on this Saturday night. Maybe 10 other tables eating. Looking forward to them revitalizing their brand and regaining the allure they used to have. Great food at a decent price. Now, OK food at a high price. Not a good recipe for success. The meatloaf felt very premade and generic. Not home cooked. Thin and lacked real flavor of great meatloaf. If it wasn’t for the gravy, would have been pretty bland. The thick hearty slice of moist delicious meatloaf is gone I guess. The potatoes were not bad, again, lacking any real flavor, except the gravy. The tomato basil soup was a bit thick but had decent flavor. The cheese sandwich could have used a thicker slice of bread, as the cheese to bread ratio was a bit off. The fries were lackluster and not crispy or hot. They were down a cook or two so service was a bit slow. The waitress was kind and did her best to keep up with the flow. Normally would have tried a desert, but felt like it would have not been great and would have taken awhile to get. Over all, not great…. Truly miss the old Mimi’s and their great food with good portions and flavor! Maybe someday.

Amazing customer service. Foods are ok. Portions are medium to big. Love it! $62 for 2 big meals and 1 kid meal. Easy access to disneyland area. We will be back when we visit Anaheim, CA again.

The staff was preoccupied with things other than service and were not interested in searing us, taking our orders or bringing our food. The music was loud and jarring for the morning. My wife's coffee cup came with heavy lipstick on the rim. The menu was limited and expensive. The food itself was inedible. My waffle was cold and soggy served with rock hard butter. My wife's eggs and potatoes arrived lukewarm and too salty to eat. For this we paid $42. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

We went twice on our visit to Disneyland. Both times the service was excellent. Good drinks - so much cheaper and better than across the road. The food is pretty good too. Our kids were totally happy. We will choose Mimi’s next time we visit.

Storytellers Cafe is a lovely and relaxing spot to have American food in the Disney Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. They have elevated versions of comfort food that are restful and beautifully designed, so you'll definitely want to make room for the meal. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, be sure to mention it to the staff beforehand.
Lovely character dining experience. The food choices were plentiful and healthy. I ate two plates including 4 different salads and loads of high quality protein. Lots of character interaction without having to flag them down. The sever acknowledged my daughter’s bday and sprinkled some Disney magic onto our bill. Much appreciated, will definitely be back.

My family visited for the Donald’s Tale of Adventure this afternoon. The staff was attentive and kind. The food was amazing, plentiful and just downright tasty!! The problem was that the star of the show, Donald, went missing for stretches lasting over an hour!!! Other friends (Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, and Clarabelle) were able to see all of the guests without issue, but Donald #1 seemed to only visit certain tables (sometimes repeatedly), ignoring many of his #1 fans. Multiple tables had children leaving without seeing him, one of which left in tears. Definitely come for the food, but don’t expect too much from the star. It’d be one thing if we were part of an open beta, but we were still charged full price for the diminished experience. I’d sit this one out for a little while to let the team figure out how best to shine.

A Feast of Fun and Characters! Clarabelle's Dinner Buffet is a must-do for anyone looking for great food and even better character interactions. The food selection is fantastic, with everything from salads to a carving station, but the real standout was the lobster ravioli, which was absolutely delicious. While the desserts were just okay, they didn't take away from an otherwise wonderful meal. What truly sets this buffet apart is the character experience. We were thrilled to see Clarabelle, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto all make an appearance! Seeing Clarabelle is a special bonus since she's so rare, and Donald was, as always, the life of the party. The way the characters interact with guests makes the experience unforgettable. Overall, Clarabelle's Dinner Buffet offers an incredible combination of awesome food and top-notch character interactions. It's a truly special and memorable dining experience.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and presentation of all the food. Cleanliness and friendliness just as you would expect from Disney. You won't regret going here. Food is delicious for adults and children for choices are great for all.

Storytellers Cafe is likely the worst place for the gummies I took an hour earlier to fully take effect into my bloodstream. I was sitting in this rustic, cabin-like ambiance fighting for my life when Donald Duck's girlfriend came to our table and started interacting with us. I wanted no part of it, so I have no idea why the words “I think you’re cute” left my lips. I didn’t want to catch the hands from Donald, so I got up and went to hit the buffet. I weaved through the wild children roaming around, refusing to make eye contact or acknowledge any of the Disney characters. My first plate consisted of prime rib, turkey breast, fried chicken, kale salad, vegetables, and a slice of pizza. They literally have everything in here. It was so overwhelming. The thing about me is I always forget I don’t like prime rib until it’s on the plate sitting in front of me. It’s just so one dimensional. Prime Rib just doesn’t have the juice. No motion. There is no crust formation, no seasoning, and no soul. Just a pink center. That cow is still alive damn near. I will never understand the general public's obsession with prime rib. Everything else was middy wap besides the kale salad and pizza, so my 2nd plate consisted of only kale salad and pizza. As I was walking back to the table with my 2nd plate, my soul barely still in my body, some music began playing loud and all the disney characters started dancing in unison through the center of the establishment. I couldn’t help but think of the people in these costumes just trying to feed their families. Crazy job to have. As the show ended, I looked to my left and there was Donald, staring deep into my soul. I thought I was gonna have to throw a spinning wheel kick in self defense, but I slowly walked back to my table without breaking eye contact. He didn’t want this problem and I can’t blame him. As we got up to leave, I saw Goofy. Goofy is my GUY. That lyric “Young Walt Disney Imma tell you truthfully, If you leave Mickey you gon end up with a Goofy!” lives rent free in my head, so I had to dap him up. Goofy always catching strays. SHOUTOUT TO GOOFY! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

I recommend making a reservation. I made a reservation about a month ahead of time. I ended up trying to add people to my reservation a day before but there was no availability. I went with my family to Donald’s Tales of Adventure Dinner around 7pm on a Saturday. It was my first Disney character dinner! It was such a fun experience and great atmosphere. My favorite dinner experience. We saw all the characters. My daughters only missed getting a picture with Clarabelle but they still got her autograph. Goofy and Daisy came around our table multiple times. We did see the star of the dinner, Donald. Unfortunately they ran out of Donald Duck buttons! I was disappointed by that since we paid such a large amount of money and to not receive the special button! I would highly recommend trying a character dinner if it's in your budget. Worth every penny. I just really wish they had Donald buttons left it would have been a great souvenir!

Our favorite family restaurant in the entirety of the Disney Parks. Has a wonderful very high quality buffet, and it's also a character experience. We love the food, our kids love the characters. Less pricey and more entertaining and tasty than the Goofy restaurant. We've been many times over the years and still keep coming back.

07/25/2025 Pleasant al fresco dining just a few blocks from the fresh ocean breeze. Quick service, attentive staff, and most importantly, when the sun started to get hot, they had a retractable green awning by the back area. Tip: instead of waiting for a table by the front or inside, ask to be seated in the back patio area where there is little to no wait.

Food was very good and came out at a very decent time for a big group. Only complaint was that they took excessively long to deliver a single extra pancake (at the time where everyone was about to leave), and the service was a tiny bit (though understandably) grumpy, but the place looks super nice and had fair prices.

Not knocking this place at all… Not bad. But not worth the money spent for the amount of food was my rating reason. The food was, good, not amazing. But it came out really fast and was on the smaller side. Outside seating was nice and the staff were friendly and courteous. There are a few really good breakfast / brunch spots on Main. This one just didn’t grab us with the return soon feel. Maybe someday.

The best place after a surfing session! I’m from Italy and It was my first time in Huntington Beach. I was looking for a place for breakfast/brunch and here I found a great atmosphere and a lot of kindness. The burrito was big, tasty and amazing, served with smashed potatoes. I was so full and satisfied. The location is perfect and I really liked the staff. You can’t miss it if you are around!

IHOP is a well-established chain known for its wide range of pancakes and classic American breakfast and diner dishes. It's a popular choice for families, offering separate meals tailored to children's tastes. Located near Disneyland, this 24-hour IHOP provides a convenient dining option for park visitors, with great value deals like unlimited pancakes for $7. Despite some staffing challenges, the restaurant delivers fresh and accurate food with friendly service.
We love IHop. They have the best breakfast items one could want. This one is clean, quiet, parking is free and the service is just great. It is comfortable. Your food comes out fast and as ordered and hot. It is perfect. You can even have it delivered to your hotel. We ate there once and then the next day had breakfast delivered to our hotel. It was perfect. Their pancakes are so good. Fluffy and never burned. I wish the eggs were bigger, but for the price I am not going to complain. The hash browns are great, get them well done and you will get nice crisp on the top. My grandson loves their special pancakes that have a bunch of sugar in them. I don't love them, but he does. Their coffee is great and there is plenty to be had. We have also had their salads and burgers and love them. For the money IHop is the place to go.

Stopped in one morning before heading into Disney. This is the biggest IHOP I've ever seen. They are fast! IHOP at 1560 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim is a fantastic spot for breakfast — especially if you're visiting Disneyland or staying nearby! 🥞🍳🍓 The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the park, making it a great place to fuel up before a big day of adventures. The menu has all the breakfast classics — from fluffy pancakes and omelets to crispy bacon and hash browns — and everything is cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are generous, and the food comes out hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, and even when it’s busy, the service is quick and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with a cozy diner vibe. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location, and they also have a lot of combo options to give you the most value for your meal. If you’re in Anaheim and looking for a satisfying breakfast or brunch, IHOP is a solid choice. Definitely recommend the pancakes — they're light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet! 🥞☕✨

Great spot for a hearty breakfast before or after Disneyland. We stopped by the IHOP near Disneyland and it was exactly what we needed , classic comfort food, quick service, and generous portions. It gets pretty busy (especially in the mornings), but the staff handled the crowd well and we were seated faster than expected. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious as always, and the omelettes were huge and satisfying. Prices are slightly higher than a regular IHOP, likely due to the location, but still reasonable compared to theme park food. Perfect place to fuel up before heading into the parks, or to recover after a long day of walking.

Having the pleasure of visiting an IHOP for the first time, I opted for the sirloin tips with eggs. It was a delightful experience, exceeding my expectations. The steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The scrambled eggs were excellent, and the pancakes were wonderfully fluffy. The unlimited coffee was certainly a welcome addition.

Ruby's Diner is a retro-style restaurant from the 1940s that specializes in serving classic American comfort food, breakfast items, salads, and shakes. It offers a pleasant surprise for customers with its quick seating and prompt service. The drinks and food are served without delay, which is greatly appreciated by patrons. The quality of the food at Ruby's Diner is top-notch, with hot and crispy fries being a standout item.
Met up with some friends for breakfast. The food was good. I like the vibe. The waiter was great.

I remember eating at Ruby's many years ago. The service and the 1950 Americana ambience were nice, and the food was decent. Well, the ambience and the prompt and courteous service are still good, but the food this time was disappointing. I had a Swiss Mushroom burger. The bun was mediocre, the patty was thin and inspid, the mushrooms were slimy and tasteless, and the cheese was basically like a slice of plastic.

That kind of classic diner you want. The burgers were a solid meal and had the right fresh ingredients I demand of a burger. The milkshakes are on point, especially that Butterfingers. the vibe in there is great and the staff are super nice fpr being in a mall. I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Honestly, an easy choice if your nearby.

I went for breakfast and had an unexpected meal as I thought that I would get. The corn beef with those runny sunny side up 4 eggs and a pancake ( it was the most delicious American breakfast I’ve ever had )
Nawaf A — Google review
I’d never been to this location and I’m so glad I stumbled onto it. Was greeted and sat immediately. It’s bright, welcoming and clean. The vibe is fun. A large TV runs old black and white clips for a vintage feel along with a full size, old school bumper car that rotates mid-restaurant. Service was fantastic (Abygail T)! Clearly popular since there were two groups of kids with an adult, solo diners, couples … it appeals to almost everyone. The salads are huge and the comfort food (patty melt, onion rings, milkshakes) is on point. They also serve house white and red wine.

Been to pretty much every Ruby's Diner there is... This one... Well.. Hands down is the best. Why? Easy. Clean, well decorated, great food and really good service all wrapped up in a fabulous mall location. As you make your way into this location, you are immediately wowed with the beautiful wood accents and antique style decor from the 40's and 50's style diner experience of the past. Classic Ruby's Diner food, including some scrumptious shakes and chili cheese fries! Worth the visit for sure.

I have been going here since the 80's and I love this location. Food is always good, roast turkey sandwich is my favorite with that delicious cranberry sauce. This location is the cleanest vs Newport beach. The real let down are the seats. The bench seats have no cushioning and you have to slide way down. A true remodel would help, Parking is easy and free. My only issue with service was I never got a refill on my drink.

This was one of our favorite spots to eat at DCA! The atmosphere is so much fun. We sat on the side and could see when Lightning McQueen left and Mater came out. Our burgers were delicious. The fried chicken was #2 in our books for the parks. Only thing that messed it up is we couldn't get a shake because the machine was broken.

Best place to get burgers and sandwiches inside DCA! Inside Cars land you’ll have the best view of the radiator spring racers. I recommend the mater burger!

We came to Flo’s for breakfast during our day at Disney California Adventure Park after the first run of rides after rope drop. The restaurant conveniently locates near the Cars rides (of course the name) so it was a great spot to take a break and regain our energy. The decoration is spot on and thematic. The menu contains mostly fast food so the tables were available quickly even if there were many people. The food on the other hand was nothing special other than their names. We tried Ramone’s Low & Slow Club. Taste and portion were average. It also came with fries and we actually enjoyed the fries more than the sandwich itself. In overall, it was an okay place to eat something and continue your magic day. I hope they would add something special to the menu to match the theme and the price.

Came here twice one in the afternoon and another one in the evening. They had milk shakes and we got all three flavors; vanilla, chocolate 🍫 and strawberry 🍓 Chocolate one was incredibly sweet and we just finished 1/3 of it and it was enough for us, secondly strawberry and the least sweet one was vanilla one although everything was sweet over all. And that was our afternoon visit. We came here to have dinner as well. We had burgers 🍔 since other places were fully packed and no where to go nor sit so we came here again. So happy that they have impossible burgers so vegetarian people like me can still enjoy while being in the theme park! :)

I've dined here a few times over the years, and it's been a pleasant experience so far. The food here is average to great. You'll find the sustenance needed for more Disney energy. Mobile ordering is a notable feature, saving time and stress in lines. Highlights of Flo's V8 Cafe: - Mobile Ordering - Steak fries! - Changing Seasonal items - Alcoholic drinks - Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - Fun 50's theme exterior and amazing at night! - Magic Key holder discounts - Allergy-friendly items My favorite items would be the Ka-Cheeseburger with steak fries and Ramon's Slow n Low Club. Flo's Fried Chicken is a good option if you have an appetite or as a shareable. The shakes and seasonal desserts are great choices if you have a sweet tooth. Flo's V8 is a great spot to relax and enjoy tasty American-style comfort food. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, and the dining areas are kept clean and tidy.

I can't believe my family waited an hour for this food! $60 for crap. The fries were hard and cold, the cheese wasn't even melted and the burgers were cold. Complete TRASH we are so irritated we had to just eat the nasty food cause we didn't want to wait another hour for food. What a joke this experience was for my kids 1st time at Oogie Boogie and eating here!

This is a great stop to eat at if you happen to be in this part of the park. I went here after experiencing the cars ride. The burger itself isn't anything extreme but satisfied me, included is a couple of side items.

Coco's Bakery Restaurant is a down-to-earth chain that serves modern twists on classic dishes and freshly baked pies. Established in 1948 along the Pacific Coast Hwy, Coco's prides itself on offering clean, fresh fare with slow-roasted meats and healthy California-inspired options. The restaurant provides excellent service for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders, ensuring that delivered food arrives warm and fresh.
We stopped by Coco Restaurant & Bakery on our way back from Anaheim. We were originally planning to go to Denny’s, but we saw this place instead and we’re so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and seated us right away. It’s a small, cozy diner with a welcoming vibe. The menu had so many great options, and we really appreciated the photos of their popular dishes as it helped us decide what to order! We ended up getting the Eggs Benedict on French Toast and the Strawberry Cinnamon French Toast Combo. Both were absolutely delicious super flavorful and perfectly cooked! They’re also known for their amazing pies, and all the ones in the display looked incredible. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try any since we had a 6-hour drive ahead and didn’t want to be too full, but we’ll definitely be coming back for that! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!

Let’s call this one a 2.5 I walked in and the place was dead. I almost walked out, but thought that maybe it was just a lull or the middle of the week that caused the slowness. So, I stayed. I ordered The Classic. It was 4 pieces of bacon, hash browns, eggs, and buttermilk pancakes. The hash browns and eggs were standard, and the bacon was fine. The pancakes were not good. I would not order those again. The coffee was pretty okay. The menus and the table were sticky. You know that pesky grease layer that just doesn’t want to go away? Yeah. Not awesome. I left feeling a bit greasy myself. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth saving $5 by walking across the street from your hotel. Just pay the extra and eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

We came in for breakfast and were pleased with the menu. There were options for everyone regardless of dietary restrictions. There was a bit of a wait, but the food was worth it. I ordered a crispy Belgian waffle with chocolate chips and strawberry and asked for the strawberry on the side. It was delicious.

My family and I were visiting from out of town so we went to Coco’s as it was close to our hotel. The food was okay and the service too but the restaurant is very very old and this smell hits you hard as you walk in. Smells like a very old building. The furniture, floors and place in general need a little bit of love.

Delicious. I got the breakfast burrito. It had great flavor and was not greasy or overly cheesy. The hash browns that came with it were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My wife got the peach pancakes. The only reason I gave Coco's four stars instead of five is because my wife said the peaches weren't quite as ripe as they should be (she cooks a lot of peaches and knows peaches). She said they still tasted very good though.

We pop into this Coco's location occasionally when we are in the area. It was a Saturday morning this time, and it was packed. It didn't phase our server Heidy. She was busy but attentive. I asked for a carafe of iced tea and she said she couldn't do that which made me think "Oh great, here we go." She proved my thoughts wrong. I never had to ask for a refill. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was hot and cooked properly. Kudos to Heidy, and the kitchen, and the bus boys. Great visit. Thank you!

Crystal Cove Shake Shack is a popular '40s-style chain diner in Newport Beach, offering American comfort food, salads, and shakes. Known for their delicious burgers, fries, and hand-spun shakes in various flavors, this restaurant uses high-quality ingredients to create signature dishes like the classic ShackBurger topped with lettuce, tomato, and secret ShackSauce. Visitors can enjoy a quick bite with a spectacular view of the Pacific Coast Highway.
Not so much parking right to the front but you can park 5 minutes walk from there 5$/hours I added the pic. I got the bacon burger with fries, good combo with a beer. Arrived at 7:30pm was the perfect time to eat with a sunset view❤️ luxury time with a right price!

The views here cannot be beat! This diner overlooks the beach and offers scenic views while enjoying a casual meal. The line to park can backup down the road waiting for spots to become available, but it moves surprisingly fast. Order your food at the window, find yourself a seat, and they will call your number when the food is ready. They have a variety to choose from like burgers, hot dogs, and even seafood. Finish your meal off with one of their milkshakes!

Amazing little spot! We are so happy to have found this place for lunch. Parking is dicey as they only have a few spots, but other reviewers said you can park up the road and then walk for about $5. We waited in line at the entrance and were able to get a spot within 5-10 minutes of waiting. We ordered the burger (comes with fries) and a chocolate shake. Everything was so delicious! The shake was super filling of course and honestly we should have just split the it all instead of ordering both a burger and fries for each of us. The ocean views are spectacular from the deck!
Caroline C — Google review
Great little spot with an ocean view. Not a typical burger fast food joint. Enjoy a good burger, fries, and a shake while enjoying a view of the ocean and Crystal Cove below and listening to Beach Boys songs. Came at 2:00 pm and we got a parking spot. Extensive shake options. Service was fast, atmosphere very pleasant, and the food worth another visit.
David M — Google review
The waiting time was under 10 minutes, the service, location was good with available seating. The burger and fries were good as well as the shake. I walk there from my home with the shake shack as my dining destination before heading to the beach. Great views and good food, give it a try.
Patrick M — Google review
The group I was with made a last minute choice to eat at this location. It has a great atmosphere. We were on vacation and have never tried Shake Shack before. We went on a Sunday around 3pm after visiting the beach and it was busy. We were hungry and made a large order. The food took awhile but it was busy, so that was to be expected. My group had to split up as seats became available. They do not have that much seating but once you have seating it has a nice view of the ocean. Food with a view. I'm glad I tried Shake Shack by the ocean rather then another location. The fish and chips were good! The hamburger tasted like a hamburger nothing special. The shakes tasted like you would want a shake to taste like. I think the whole group was satisfied with their food. If you are visiting the beach this location is worth going to. It's a walk up the stairs from Crystal Cove beach. It's not worth trying to travel to if you're not already at the beach. It doesn't have a lot of traditional parking.
Lex A — Google review
Great place good shakes ,tasty burgers and fries also breakfast is served here too. Or just enjoy the scenery with a good cup of coffee. Anything past 10am you'll likely be waiting for a parking spot.

The Cove deluxe burger and Seafood combo are very good. They both come with french fries. We didn't have to wait long to get our food. Service is super friendly. They have outdoor heaters for cold weather, which is really nice. It's only less than 10min walk from the Beachcomber Parking lot across the 1 Highway. Definitely recommended.

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and WiFi access. The Starbucks Reserve store in Downtown Disney stands out for its spacious and beautifully decorated interior with high ceilings and interactive multimedia features. It provides separate areas for mobile orders and walk-in orders, ensuring efficient service. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of mobile ordering for faster service.
Absolutely love this Starbucks in the Downtown Disney District! The atmosphere is vibrant, and Jonahthan is incredibly friendly and efficient, even during busy times. The drinks are made perfectly, and the location is ideal for grabbing a coffee while exploring the area. Plenty of seating and great vibes all around. Highly recommend stopping by for your caffeine fix!

The Baseline: For a Starbucks it must serve Starbucks offerings well, be a clean cafe, and have good service. Food: The drinks are well prepared. I ordered a flat white for my 11pm drive home. The Flat White is my baseline drink for all Starbucks and it was a great Flat White. Service: The staff are friendly, efficient, and did not err on the order. I also ordered an Orange County Discovery series mug using points. This store won’t give Magic Key discounts but will allow points to be used. Atmosphere: This Starbucks is a store in the heart of Downtown Disney and it serves standard Starbucks offerings. The cafe is clean, no visible graffiti, and the bathrooms are clean.

Tried the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher at Disneyland Starbucks. The drink was super refreshing, flavorful, and came with real dragon fruit slices that added a nice touch. The service was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated given how busy it was. Great spot for a cool break during a fun day at the park!

Jonathan MADE my (just turned) 4 year old daughter’s day today. He made her feel like a total princess on her way to the Disney Parks. He was compassionate, kind, thoughtful… I just want to give him a shout out and say thank you again. The world needs a little more kindness and a little more love…. Jonathan embodied that today for my little girl 💜. Best coffee run of all time meeting such a wonderful human!

5/30/25 - This Starbucks location has now decided that they no longer want to offer individuals free water!! Water!!! From the SINK….This poor girl in front of me asked for water… And the guy said “yeah if you buy something” !! It’s 95° outside… DON’T CARE! She even had her dad’s Starbucks Gold Card! Gold card member since 2009.. DON’T CARE.. No water! Buy something and we will give you water from our sink!! So I asked, “ hey, if I spend HUNDREDS of dollars a year on Starbucks and I wanted water, no go?.. He said, “ I don’t make the rules, they changed, not my call “.. SHAME ON YOU STARBUCKS!!! Shame!! That’s BAD Business.. I walked out and WILL reach out to corporate and NOT buy Starbucks from this location EVER AGAIN!!!

Best part about Starbucks is that it is always consistent. I am from locally around here and so I have been to the Starbucks many times. Drinks are always on point. I gave the store five stars across the board because again consistency is key. The service is always great and the drinks and food are always great. I cannot fault them and give them less Stars due to long wait times. We are talking about a location that is in the heart of Downtown Disney and in between both Disney and California adventure parks. Of course it is going to be packed all the time. And of course there are long wait lines even for coffee. That is to be expected here. If you are looking for something that is much quicker, I would suggest finding somewhere else to find your coffee while you are in this area. Overall the store is beautiful and spacious and clean :-)
Lily K — Google review
Love this Starbucks for one big reason, they separate the mobile orders from the walk-in orders. There are two separate machines working and two separate pickup areas. This is so nice to be able to see your drink come out in the actual order it was taken instead of when the mobile orders are intermingled with the walk-ins. Great job for being able to do this! It's also beautifully decorated!

Nestled just a stone's throw from the enchanting Sleeping Beauty Castle, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is a delightful gem in Disneyland that transports you to the whimsical world of Mary Poppins. This charming eatery features a lovely garden patio where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch amidst picturesque surroundings. The menu boasts comforting classics like tomato basil soup paired with grilled cheese, alongside seasonal delights such as beef birria toasted cheese that showcase Disney's culinary creativity.
My husband and I ate here two mornings. He had the cinnamon roll and it was very good. I had a latte, which was very good and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was gummy and hard to chew so I didn't finish it. I ordered two gingerbread Mickey's and they were very good. I'd recommend eating here.
Joanie W — Google review
Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland California is a charming and convenient stop for breakfast, especially if you’re just arriving at the park and want to fuel up before a busy day of rides and adventures. Located right at the central hub of Disneyland, it’s hard to miss and perfectly situated for an early morning bite. When we visited, the line for in-person ordering was long, understandably so, as many guests had the same idea. We strongly recommend using the Disneyland app to place a mobile order ahead of time, which saves a lot of hassle. Even with a mobile order, finding a table can be tricky, but turnover is relatively fast since most people eat quickly and head out to chase rides. We tried the Jolly Holiday Combo, which features a Toasted Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Basil Soup and a Specialty Sweetened Iced Tea topped with Vanilla Whipped Cream. It was a solid, comforting meal, perfect for breakfast in a theme park setting. The sandwich and soup pairing worked well together, even though it was my first time trying this classic combo. The tea was fine, nothing extraordinary, but a fun twist for a morning drink. Like most Disneyland food, the prices are on the higher end, but that’s expected for the location. Overall, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is a great choice for a quick and satisfying breakfast to start your day at Disneyland. While the food itself may not be anything too special, the convenience, setting, and variety of options (especially fun desserts and drinks that kids will love) make it a worthwhile stop.
Hung T — Google review
The Baseline: For a sit down Dining experience establishment the food flavors must represent the theme of the environment, there must be unique offerings to the restaurant based on the theme, and the experience must be immersive to the theme park experience. Food: The food at Jolly Holiday is really about the sweet treats and the caffeinated drinks. There is an exception to that rule though and that is the grilled cheese and tomato soup which are hidden gems of joy. The night I went I got the Beef Birria Toasted Cheese with a side of Tomato Soup with the Specialty Tea. The sandwich was delicious with a lot of beef in it and had a consome to dip in. The tomato soup was creamy and a bit sweet but very enjoyable. The Specialty Tea is a new favorite if I am not going for a cold brew. The creamy top mixed well in the tea and made for an enjoyable drink. Service: Great cast member service at the pick up area and they keep the dining areas clean and orderly. Love Disney cast members for their attitude and helpfulness. Ambiance: It always a Jolly Holiday with Mary and the people that you love. Jolly Holiday is a Mary Poppins themed eatery with an old turn of the century English feel to the restaurant with extra lights and activity as it faces the Disneyland hub with views of the castle.

Been coming to Disneyland for years but tried this bakery for the first time. Wow, amazing raspberry macaron and beef birria toast. The latte was forgettable. Can't beat the view of the magic castle from our table.
Carl W — Google review
The grilled cheese was absolutely perfect in size, texture and taste (and very filling!). The tomato soup is the quality you'd expect from an amusement park, but also pretty decent and easy to sip once you're done. The "signature sweet tea" I got was literally just water and whipped cream. I couldn't drink it from how unappetizing it was. I don't know if it's because I did it through a mobile order or what but the drink was not anywhere near worth the 6 bucks I paid for it. But otherwise, the other foods looked good.
Gwen R — Google review
I always wanted to try the birria toasted cheese. It pairs really well with the consome that comes with it. Now the raspberry macaron was HEAVEN! It's super soft with creamy frosting. I noticed that it does stain your fingertips but not for long. I highly recommend it.

The holiday menu is great. The turkey sandwich is delicious with the gravy. The sipping chocolate and waffles were really yummy 😋 the line is usually long because it’s very good food. The prices are a bit high. They have plenty of seating and a good selection of treats. Ten out of ten totally recommend. Thank you Melissa for going above and beyond. The food doesn’t not disappoint. Today we tried the strawberry crescent ❤️❤️ can you say delicious 🤤 a must try.the strawberry crescent is delicious. The Burris and toasted cheese with basil tomato soup really good. The chocolate strawberry macron was not very good at all but looks good. The specialty tea tasted just like a Boba tea. Kind of sweet but a nice little treat.

When I tell you this is the holy grail of Disney food I mean it! My brother as well as my niece has been telling me I must try the birria grilled cheese offered at Jolly Holiday so of course I went right to it. Line can get a bit long, but moved pretty quick. Vibe is what you expect at Disney and seating is outside only. There are quite a few shaded tables, but they are busy. Price was great for the portion and for location. The consommé had great flavor and added to an already amazing sandwich. So dang good and very filling. They offer other food and drink options as well of course.

The food was good at this place, the waiting line was like 20-30 min. The parking is next to the building. When you park get down by the stairs and it takes you directly to the place. The environment is nice, music not loud, good to talk. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the cashier she wasn't paying attention, I asked for macadamia pancakes but she didn't put it on the order, we have to reorder and waste.more time because of the time. We are shorter on time sometimes because of work, and visiting places like this will be amazing if they can save us time.

Great breakfast/brunch place in Laguna. We went on a Thursday morning and it was busy, but the service was still very quick. Their omelettes are great. We had the avocado and veggie one. Best beach restaurant I have ever been to. Been here a few times over the years and have never had bad experiences. Very good food and a great selection. We had the O.I. Breakfast plate. Scrambled egg, potatoes, English muffin, orange slice. The egg was made perfectly with minimal seasoning. The potatoes were also cooked perfectly with a bit of salt and garlic. Not over seasoned which I dislike. I wish to taste only good food. Even the orange slice was fantastic. The staff are efficient and cordial. First time customer. I’ll touch on the service first. It’s Labor Day today, the little spot was full, line of people, and the service was impeccable. The staff was moving! Getting people’s order in and out of the kitchen quickly. All while still taking the time at the counter to explain the favorites to us. Now the food. We had the breakfast burrito with sausage, huevos bodreros, strawberry shake, banana shake, coffee, strawberry and jam sandwich , and cinnamon roll. The breakfast burrito was by far the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. It was perfect. Refried beans with cheese, egg, and avocado. A little tapatio packet it came with was the cherry on top. I had to stop the guy helping us on the way out to let him know how good it was. Everything else was fantastic. The coffee was so good , next time I’ll buy some of their coffee beans they have for sale. The shakes were tasty, not too sweet, just perfect. Getting a table can be a little challenging since it’s a small spot, but the size of the shop just adds to the appeal. I’m sure the workers are compensated ok because they were hustling and they were happy. But if the owner reads this, and is maybe thinking of giving them wage raises or bonuses or something…do it. Your staff just won you two return customer.

During our search for a dog-friendly breakfast spot, we stumbled upon RJ's Café. To be honest, our expectations were low since we just needed a place where we could bring our furry friend along. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The host was incredibly accommodating and helped us secure a cozy corner table. Our server, Marina, was attentive and charming. She was very patient with us as we took a little time to settle in and decide on our orders. I opted for a classic American breakfast, which included eggs, sourdough toast, sausage links, and potatoes. My partner chose pancakes with a sausage patty. Overall, both the service and the food exceeded our expectations, making for a delightful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Good overall. The corned beef hash was excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I ordered my eggs over easy and those were also perfectly done. The only downside was the cinnamon roll. The bread was a bit dry, but the worse part was the cinnamon mixture. It was incredibly potent. It had the after-taste of a cinnamon candy like red hots. Not for my taste

Disappointed in the food. They slapped a slab of cream cheese between two pieces of cinnamon bread for their “stuffed french toast” and called it good to go. None if the cream cheese melted, it was a cold slab of cream cheese. Also ordered the “BIG” burrito…that wasnt big at all. Easily a taco bell sized burrito with not much taste/flavor.

We had dinner at The Hangout twice recently and had a generally positive experience. On our first visit, I tried the pear salad and absolutely loved it — fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. On our second visit, I ordered the mussels pasta. While the presentation and service were excellent, I found the dish itself a bit underwhelming. The sauce was very liquid and lacked flavor for my taste. It might just not have been the right dish for me, but overall, I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff.

We stopped into The Hangout Restaurant & Beach Bar on our way to the Long Beach airport, and it was such a great choice! The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We tried the jalapeño burger, shrimp, and their Food Network–famous onion rings, and they lived up to the hype! The adult chicken tenders, breaded in-house, were another highlight—their breading and beer batter were absolutely amazing. This spot has a fun, laid-back vibe with great food and friendly service. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Great view looking out on Ocean and pier. Great service from Beth W. Lots of options on the menu (see pics). I ordered a Texas toast breakfast sandwich. Egg was more over easy than requested over medium, but the mess was delicious. Hangout has been here for ever. Most laid-back restaurant with an Ocean view. Would come back for more at any mealtime. Might go to Beach House if I wanted to feel fancier.

Came for breakfast. Service was very pleasant. Surprisingly my omelette was one of the best I’ve had. The hash browned were nice and crispy and the coffee was smooth. Great breakfast with a view. A++

5 stars – A Perfect Beachside Breakfast Experience :) I had breakfast at The Hangout with a friend, and we were both absolutely thrilled with the experience. We each had omelettes, which were delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure our coffee and water were refilled without us even having to ask. It’s rare to feel that well taken care of these days! And then there’s the location – just stunning. The restaurant is right on the beach, with a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that made us want to stay for hours. You can enjoy great food with the view of the ocean in the background – what more could you ask for? The Hangout is a gem. Great food, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. We’ll definitely be bac

Always friendly staff and great food. One of my favorite calamari. The jalapeno burger was delicious with a good kick.

85°C Bakery Cafe in Irvine is a popular Taiwanese bakery and cafe chain that has gained a strong following since opening its first U.S. location in the city. Known for its international desserts, breads, and aromatic coffee and tea offerings, this bustling spot attracts crowds eager to sample their fresh pastries and drinks. The bakery's signature line 'FRESH BREAD!' adds to the excitement as bakers pass by with trays of warm treats.
Delicious Taiwanese bakery. Everything from we bought tastes superb. And it was hard to decide so we bought a few things. The cheese dog is delicious. The fluffy vanilla sponge with strawberry jam was good. The mini cheesecakes are worth a try. The chocolate mousse cake slice was my favourite. We even bought some bread.

Absolutely love this place! The pastries are always fresh and delicious — you can tell they put care into everything they bake. The Sea Salt Caramel Coffee is a flavor bomb: creamy, slightly sweet, with that unique salty twist that makes it unforgettable. The staff is friendly, efficient, and patient even when it gets busy. And the ambiance? Cozy, clean, and welcoming — perfect for a quick treat or a chill break. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in Irvine!

The pastries and drinks are solid, no complaints about the quality. But the experience can be frustrating. There’s usually only one cashier, the line is long, and having to order drinks separately at the kiosk just slows everything down. Bathrooms are also in need of attention. Good food, but the overall experience could be much better.

The space is clean and convenient, but I was surprised by the limited variety. The same breads were displayed on multiple trays, which made it feel repetitive. It seemed like they were trying to make it look full, but there were not many different options to choose from. It was especially disappointing not to see my favorite, Taiwanese Scallion Bread. I often find it In Summery Bakery. If you’re in the area and want something quick, it’s fine. But if you’re looking for a wide selection or something new to try, it might fall short.

85°C Bakery always hits the spot if you’re craving fresh, tasty pastries and drinks. Their sea salt coffee is a must-try, and the breads and cakes are soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The variety is amazing — from savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone. Only downside is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends, and sometimes popular items run out quickly. But overall, it’s worth the wait if you go at the right time!

Product is amazing, but service is really bad, also any coffee is about 5 dollars and now they only put half of the cup, they should charge also half of the price, idk if is just my coffee, caramel machiato, but always only half of the cup gets fill. And i didn't have a zip before this picture, so mad at this people, besides not everyone follows the recipe, each time taste different...

I really love this place. They have a great selection and the service is always friendly and quick. I’ve been coming here for years and never had a single issue. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to, and I always recommend it to friends and family. The milk pudding is my absolute favorite. The brioche is great too. If you’re eyeing the desserts behind the glass, I’d go with the white chocolate strawberry cake — it’s a solid choice. The only thing that I absolutely do not like about this place is the parking! Over the years, DJ has gotten busier and busier. Parking hasn't really changed at all so if you come during peak times... basically any time you think college students want to hang out... then finding parking will be a challenge. Other than that, I love this place!

I genuinely love this place. Delicious bread, great drinks, but I'm writing the review because my family and I are always so excited when they bring back their cinnamon rolls. It's a yearly tradition at this point- but this year they changed them to include walnuts. They're unfortunately very gritty and have a different, bitter taste to their filling. Hopefully, they bring back the classic, because these new ones are so unpleasant we threw them out.

Casual diner chain dishing up classic American comfort fare, including all-day breakfast favorites.
Linsey was the best server ever. Great service and a great attitude, it changed my whole Denny’s experience overall. Will be back just for her!

I typically love Dennys and similar places like IHOP this one just wasn’t good. The waitress wasn’t all that friendly and the food took a while to come out and when I did it was cold- I’m not certain but I felt like the prices are also higher at this location- I’m guessing that’s because it’s close to Disney? All together I just didn’t feel the quality was worth the price but what is anymore 😅
Whitney C — Google review
A great place to save money during your Disneyland visit. This restaurant is open 24 hours a day and has a good size, making it very convenient whether you visit before entering the park or after a long day at Disneyland—especially if your ticket doesn’t include meals. Prices are quite reasonable, averaging around $20 per person, which is a great value considering the quality and portion sizes. The food is delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions that easily satisfy after a busy day of walking and attractions. There are plenty of menu options, so everyone can find something they like, from lighter meals to hearty dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the overall cleanliness of the place stands out compared to many 24-hour spots. It also offers its own parking lot, which makes it easy to stop by without worrying about finding a place to park. In general, it’s an excellent option for families, couples, or anyone looking for a convenient and affordable meal near Disneyland.

I loved Lindsey, she read our aura and she brought out ranch even though I didn’t ask yet it’s like she read my mind food came out really fast hot nice and ready and a great study spot. She kept coming to check in and it was awesome

Lindsey was the realest alpha, never seen so one with so much positive aura. My mood was at a 6 or 7 but Lindsey brought to it up to a 10. I am forever grateful for the rizzy service!

We were greeted right away by Lindsey, who was so kind! She sat us down immediately and got our drinks out promptly. After taking our order, she checked in multiple times to make sure we were still enjoying ourselves. She engaged in good conversation without being distracting.

Needed an inexpensive meal when we visited Disneyland. Lindsey was such a sweetheart! She was our hostess and waitress. She was personable and friendly, but also professional and provided the most attentive service. I've never met anyone so warm and charming.
