Diner

Ruth's Diner is a historic eatery located in a beautifully renovated 1930s trolley car parked in Emigration Canyon. It offers American and Southwest breakfast dishes, including pancakes, sausages, huevos rancheros, Benedicts, and breakfast burritos. The diner also features a lovely outdoor patio for alfresco-style dining and occasionally hosts live music events. Families enjoy the old railcar ambiance and the scenic creek-side patio.
Always an enjoyable experience, Ruth's Diner is one of the best restaurants just outside of the city. Whenever we have guest from out of town, we make time to have lunch or dinner here. Our last visit was pleasant and we were actually there to experience the live band which complemented the patio scenery. They do not accept reservations so plan accordingly, we have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes.
Jennifer T — Google review
Great cute place, I love the history and fact that it's a restored trolley car. I only went here once, but the staff and atmosphere were great. I ordered the quiche of the day and that was my only issue. It had the veggies I wanted, but the eggs were a bit soggy and the crust tasty but not as flaky as I'd expect. The flexibility of the quiche as I cut it hinted that it wasn't baked completely, and was reheated later. If it was just reheated in a toaster oven, the crust would be flaky again and the eggs complete. This just wasn't it for me.

On our recent visit to Salt Lake City, we searched Google Maps to find a restaurant no too far from us. From the reviews, Ruth’s Diner sounded like a solid choice. While the restaurant has a certain charm and story, we were overall underwhelmed by our visit. The huge biscuits were quite a treat, but we spent more time battling flies than comfortably enjoying our meal. My wife and I split a fried chicken sandwich which was “okay.” Tasted fine, just thin on the meat. They did not have Splenda (which in this day and age I just don’t understand), but ordered an ice tea anyway. The waitress didn’t tell me beforehand the only tea they have was black mint. As a Texan, that just didn’t work for me. We finished off the meal with their peach and blueberry cobbler. It was much more ice cream and whipped cream than cobbler. Tasted okay, what few bites there were. I’m sure they do a great job on breakfast, but for a mid afternoon lunch, it was no more than “meh.”
Bret W — Google review
Wonderful history with this diner. Go online and read about Ruth, she was quite a character. We sat in the original diner with it's barrel ceiling. The club sandwich hit the spot after a 6 hour drive in from Wyoming. The French Fries were killer, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mile high roll you get were delicious. Katie, our server, was friendly and attentive.
Barry K — Google review
Absolutely worth the splurge! Service was phenomenal and the good was next level! My husband ordered the filet mignon and you could cut it like a pancake. I got the bbq salmon and I'd recommend it every time. The calamari was by far the best I've ever had and as always the sweet potatoe casserole was basically a dessert. Love this place and was perfect for celebrating our anniversary.

Ruth’s Diner, a cute and quaint restaurant off Immigration Canyon toward East Canyon, is a charming, rustic restaurant. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio where we sat near heaters as we were served our delicious salads all while listening to the sound of running water near by. Great for dates or groups. Outstanding service. Beautiful drive. Highly recommend.
Candice — Google review
One of my absolute favorites of all time. The ambiance. Driving up the canyon. The wooded area. The small dinner feel. The outdoor seating. The biscuits. It is all pure magic. If you are in SLC you must go. My kids love the pancakes. I love the omelettes and frittatas. I tried a San Francisco sandwich and it was amazing. I love their pinto beans. Just go. Have your magical time travel back to the 1940s and soak up every minute.
Amy B — Google review
We went for an early family dinner on Friday to Ruth’s. We ordered the kids’ quesadilla, chile verde burrito, chicken piccata, and grilled artichoke appetizer. Food was very good - not mind-blowing, but definitely yummy. I think the artichoke appetizer was our favorite. We sat outside on the patio and there were 2 women playing guitar and singing. Atmosphere was great! Music was not too loud. We did have to bring our own crayons and paper for the kids, but otherwise family friendly atmosphere. Service was cheery and stopped by often. We did feel a little rushed to leave once we had our food. I think within 15 minutes of getting our dishes we had the check and she brought to-go boxes.

Nestled in a vibrant and stylish setting, Hub and Spoke Diner is a delightful culinary gem that reimagines classic diner fare with a creative twist. Brought to life by the same talented team behind popular local spots like Finca and Pago, this acclaimed eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. The menu showcases an impressive array of comfort food made from high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
I really enjoyed this place!! It’s a great brunch spot for friends/family with a solid array of options to choose from. Service was good, food was good – I don’t really have anything else to say, except try the sour cream pancakes!
Kymble J — Google review
The hub and spoke diner is a great place to go to get breakfast and lunch. They have free parking in front of the entrance. The food was really good, but the seasonal fruit just ended up being an orange. The person I was with loved the grits.
Stephen S — Google review
Love the vibe as soon as you walk in. Greeted and seated right away. Server was Madelyn she was full of personality and energy. We ordered the French toast, warm buttery, good eggy texture. Breakfast burrito had a good amt of chorizo with potatoes and cheese. Meat lover skillet - - sourdough base within a bath of beer/tomato sauce. Ham under cheese on top with short rib and halved sausage on the side. Topped with folded scrambled egg (normal top is sunny up). Flavors all mixed together, but nothing really stood out. Sausage could have been a bit spicier to give it some pop. Short was was tasty, but scant amount. I’m likely to get another option next visit as this didn’t hit all the things I like in a skillet dish. Had a side slice of sourdough. Pretty standard fare, but did not disappoint. The donut holes reminded me of the fairs funnel cake dough. Soft, pillowy with sugar and three dipping sauces: Carmel, dark chocolate, semi sweet. They are quick to clear table, wipe down sweet floors.
Cathy S — Google review
Awesome atmosphere and cool little place to visit. Got there before 9 and had no wait for 4 people. Food was alright, the kid pancake was delicious though. Had the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits was very dry and the potatoes had a little bit too much salt. Wife said her meat lovers skillet was okay as well. Not sure if it was just too early or what but was not super impressed with the food but would definitely give it another shot!
Greg A — Google review
This was a decent brunch! The chicken and waffles were pretty tasty. The chicken was nice and crispy and had a great batter on it. The food was fairly well seasoned but felt like it needed a little more oomph to really nail all the flavors. The service was alright, they stopped refilling my coffee after the food was brought out, and didn’t have any condiment trays out until I asked.
Zack D — Google review
I really wanted to love Hub & Spoke—it’s a cute spot with a great vibe, and the food was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the service just didn’t match the quality of the food. We waited about 30 minutes without anyone coming to our table, and only after I flagged someone down did we get to place our order. After that, we didn't really see our server again. I understand places get busy, but it felt like we were completely overlooked. Hopefully just an off day, because the food and atmosphere have a lot of potential.
Laura J — Google review
Such a great option for brunch! It was extremely easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away, at the time of our our reservation. The menu has something for everyone, but my particular favorites are the Kentucky Hot Brown, the Chicken Sandwich, and the Chicken and Waffles, as they do these items extremely well. It's really rare for me to get poultry while eating out but Hub & Spoke just season and cook it well! I will say I didn't care for the potatoes, as they were just not crispy enough, but their fries are great! Also, I don't love the espresso beans they use, it's a lot more sour than I'm used to (not sure if it's Arabica or not). Service was fantastic, our hot coffees and water got refilled even though they were really busy on a Saturday morning and the vibes were just nice, and extremely cozy environment on a snowy day. We will definitely be back.
K S — Google review
Hub and Spoke Diner was a major disappointment during our recent visit. As Texans, we were excited to introduce some friends to this place after enjoying good food previously. Unfortunately, this time, we faced a series of issues. We weren't assigned a waiter, and after waiting for 20 minutes, we approached an older waitress who seemed startled and exhausted. She agreed to help us, but it felt like we were inconveniencing her. After taking our order, it took a long time for the food to arrive. On top of that, parking was horrible; they only have a small lot, so you'll either have to wait for a spot or park far away. Given that the diner is quite small, I was surprised by the lack of efficient service. The food was decent, but the poor service and parking issues overshadowed the meal. It's frustrating to have such a disappointing experience after a good one, and I hope they can improve in the future.

The Rose Establishment is a trendy and stylish coffeehouse located in downtown Salt Lake City. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with an innovative menu that includes freshly ground and roasted coffees, loose-leaf teas, gourmet sandwiches, and cold-pressed options. The in-house bakery provides freshly baked bread, pastries, and sweet treats. The chic eatery features bright and airy spaces with exposed brick walls and contemporary furniture.
I fell in love with this place. It's a shame I was in a hurry today because the warm welcoming atmosphere made me want to kick back and spend the rest of my afternoon here. The food was delicious and actually gluten free! The matcha and strawberry ice latte? Refreshing and well balanced. I can't wait to bring my favorite people here for some great food, drinks, and conversation.

Not the quickest place as far as service goes, but the chamomile waffle I had was definitely worth it. Excellent presentation and aromatic flavor, decent coffee, and they will leave you alone to enjoy the trendy atmosphere. It made me want to try even more of their dishes!
Chance M — Google review
I’m not usually one to order poached eggs, but my wife enjoys them and has gotten me to try them more. When I saw The Rose Establishment’s Turkish Eggs on the menu, I figured I’d give it a shot. Honestly, I was skeptical, especially with the yogurt and all the garnishes I didn’t even recognize, but I’m so glad I tried it. The dish came with two poached eggs, garlic sumac yogurt, feta, chili oil, and herbs, served with toasted sourdough. I added bacon on the side for some extra protein. Once everything was mixed together it just worked. The eggs, yogurt, spices, and herbs blended into a creamy, tangy, rich flavor that was absolutely delicious. The sourdough was perfect for dipping, and the bacon was phenomenal with it. Since I’ve got a sweet tooth, I couldn’t leave without trying one of The Rose Establishment’s chocolate chip cookies. It was soft, loaded with dark chocolate, and just as good as it looked. This was definitely a breakfast spot worth trying. I’m glad I went out of my comfort zone with the Turkish Eggs because it paid off. Rating: 5 out of 5. Unique breakfast, great flavors, and pastries worth saving room for.
William S — Google review
10/10 stars for The Rose Establishment and staff. We stayed in SLC for 2 nights and came for breakfast both days - it was that good. The 9-5 breakfast sandwich and the Turkish eggs were exceptional. I ordered the Jack-O-Latte and it was not too sweet, lovely cinnamon flavor. The staff is super sweet! Really fun interior and patio. Highly recommend for a good coffee/breakfast/ brunch!
Scarlet S — Google review
Such a fun and unique menu. It’s exciting being a New Yorker getting breakfast out of state because it seems everywhere else allows themselves to be so much more adventurous with breakfast than we do. The service was great, the vibes were immaculate, my drink was uniquely delicious, the food was yummy, and the bathroom was clean. Couldn’t ask for much more.
Marisa P — Google review
Such a chill vibe. It was the perfect place to start my day off right. The food was delicious and the orange dreamsicle latte with honey syrup was superb. Even the lavender scone was moist bursting with flavor but not too sweet!
Morgan J — Google review
I had such a great experience thanks Grace on the waitstaff. She went above and beyond, not just with attentive and friendly service, but with genuine heart. Grace shared a bit of her story, her love for her work, and her faith, which added a meaningful touch to the visit. It was a reminder of how lucky we are to be where we are, and how powerful the right perspective can be. The coffee was excellent, the space was warm and welcoming, and Grace truly made it memorable. Highly recommend stopping in!

I'm visiting from out of town and was looking for a place with great breakfast and coffee/tea drinks. I had the Brunch Bowl and Smoke Show tea latte. Both were delicious! Bacon was cooked to perfection and I loved the little salad. Word of warning if you've not had Lapsang souchong tea... It's very smokey and can be a lot if you're not expecting it. I knew what I was in for and really enjoyed my tea latte.

Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade is a popular spot in Salt Lake City, with three locations around the city. The restaurant prides itself on using local, organic ingredients to create their delicious menu items. From their signature biscuit sandwiches to creative limeades and freshly prepared salads, there's something for everyone. The establishment started as a humble limeade stand at the Salt Lake City Farmers Market and has now evolved into a beloved family-owned restaurant serving fantastic breakfast and brunch seven days a week.
First time here on a date with my daughter. We were able to be seated for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Lucky for us. It was nice and slow and plenty of seating. Service was quick and very attentive. Server was good at explaining favorites since it was our first time. Suggestions were fantastic for the drinks , food, and dessert. Limeades were absolutely fantastic and I will describe them as drinks you would have on a cruise ship. They take you to another part of the world that is definitely not Utah. Both of the meals we ordered were smaller yet the portions were significant. Desserts in a biscuit, c’mon man…Why didn’t anybody tell me about this place sooner?
Adrian B — Google review
I love Sweet Lake! The limeades are so good I could just chug them down in a few seconds. Raspberry is a favorite for sure. The Hoss is my go to entree. It’s got a but of everything all on one biscuit. Tried the hash bombs which is fried loaded hash browns. They were a unique twist on the already good loaded hash. Would get again!
Robbie M — Google review
I think I might have just ordered the wrong thing, the food looks good here but I got the chilaquillas, they just did it taste right. Now I lived in New Mexico for 20 years so like expectations were a little bit different. It just tasted like had been reheated one too many times. It was very sweet for some reason. Not a big fan of it. I got the Benedict as well. And I just dislike when restaurants use sliced deli ham. It'd be nice to get a nice chunk of fresh, uncured and unprocessed ham or a high quality Canadian Bacon. It was good. Not super complaining but just don't understand why Nice places do that. Like make it memorable. Now your service is fantastic, our server was on top of it. Very friendly and attentive. All the drinks were fantastic!
Richard I — Google review
I had a wonderful solo breakfast here! Special thanks to Anna and Suzie for excellent service and making me feel welcome. Highly recommend to everyone visiting; I got there before 9:30am and had no trouble being seated but it was picking up by 10am. I got the fresh mint limeade (divine, pure cane sugar at the bottom of the glass 🤤), hash bombs (incredible, definitely use the lime sauce), and the blueberry biscuit bake (only complaint here was the bottom was so tough I ended up not eating it, the rest was a delight).
Hannah F — Google review
This was my first time at Sweet Lake and it was great. We got in before the brunch rush ans it was perfect. The food was delicious and not overpriced. I had the Hoss Breakfast plate with a side of loaded hash browns and my daughter ordered the Basic B. Delicious
Eric B — Google review
First time here food was good a plus for allowing pets in the patio. They brought water for everyone including our dog. He loved his bacon plate. Overall it was great I will come back and try some other items.
Jessie R — Google review
Basic B gets a 3 star. I expected more for $11. Maybe put it in a smaller plate so it doesn't look so measly. I shoulda stick to the same order I had 6 months ago, Blueberry Biscuit Bake which was way better.
Trixie L — Google review
Their limeade is SO GOOD!! I love the sugar rim! However, the san antone was just okay. The chicken was over cooked and dry. It almost didn’t seem like real chicken. The limeade salsa was okay but not great. Chips were meh. My husband had the mother butter clucker and he also said it was pretty mediocre. It’s a fun place to go to but the food was not something I would come back for especially for the price.

Nestled on the outskirts of lively downtown Salt Lake City, Oasis Cafe is a charming eatery offering an array of creative dishes and vegetarian options in a setting adorned with art. The cafe provides a serene escape for breakfast and brunch, boasting indoor seating with a Zen-like ambiance and a picturesque outdoor patio. Guests can indulge in fluffy scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes, as well as healthier choices like fruit and oatmeal.
I was in the mood for atmosphere on the patio . After googling something for the area of salt lake this popped up. The menu looked promising and it sure was. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the shade and a few drinks. The food was great! My mojito could have been stronger but hey Utah laws ?
Ronnette A — Google review
My friends and I came here for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio on a nice day. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the service was very slow and the coffee could have been much better. Other than that, the food is definitely worth coming back for.

Used to Love Oasis Café — But This Visit Was a Huge Disappointment I’ve always loved coming to the Oasis Café, and it’s been years (since before COVID) since my last visit. I was so excited to bring my girlfriend here today and show her how amazing it used to be… but wow — what a letdown. We ordered the chicken fajitas, which were highly recommended by our server, and they were honestly the worst chicken fajitas I’ve ever had in my life. How hard are fajitas to make? You slice up chicken, steak, and veggies, season them, and grill — simple. But what came out looked and tasted like a soupy, gooey, black molasses mess. It was sweet, strange, and completely inedible. It felt like a vegetarian chef who’s never actually tasted fajitas tried to reinvent them — and failed miserably. Our appetizer was okay (about a 6/10), but after that main course disaster, we skipped dessert and left. I’m honestly heartbroken because this place used to be one of my favorites. Please, if you read this — do not, under any circumstances, order the chicken fajitas.
Trevor K — Google review
As a vegetarian, I wasn’t a big fan of the food choices I picked. The interior and exterior were very cute, and the place was packed with people, so I assume they are popular for their non-vegetarian options. I ordered the pancake, a breakfast burrito, and the hummus platter. The pancake was pretty good — very fluffy and a bit reminiscent of cornbread. The hummus platter was decent. The burrito, however, was the main reason for my three-star rating. It was watery, lacked flavor, and the texture was just soggy. I wasn’t a fan of this dish at all. I’m also particular about water, and theirs did not taste good. It might have been the piping or just regular tap water, but it was unpleasant. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Akash P — Google review
Great menu with healthy options. Had eggs Benedict which had spinach and tomato instead of Canadian bacon. Delicious! Our server, Adam, was very accommodating and friendly.
Debbie E — Google review
Brunch at 10 a.m. on a Saturday. Moderately busy, 20 minutes wait, checked out the book store in the interim. Ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine and added Applewood Bacon, the eggs bennie were dynamite, but the potatoes had that texture like they'd been hanging around a hotel pan for awhile. The coffee was aces, but I only received one refill as I was given the bill (boo!). One of those places that would probably be better all around when they're less busy.
Philo — Google review
Appreciated the free parking. Lots of seating available. The food was good and came out quickly. The breakfast sandwich was fresh tasting and really liked the German pancake. Not overly sweet.
Lindsey — Google review
I am giving this place five stars for being in Salt Lake City for so long, it is in a beautiful building, with outdoor seating, free parking, it is not only a cafe, but is home to the Golden Braid Bookstore as well. The Golden Braid Bookstore started out in a tiny shop that I frequented often. I am so happy they were able to expand and be in the heart of Salt Lake City. The Oasis Cafe has plenty of options and lots of seating. I personally prefer lunch, but breakfast is good too.

The Park Café is a popular and lively eatery with a cozy atmosphere and stunning views of Liberty Park pond. It's a go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, offering a relaxed setting to enjoy homestyle meals like Michigan hash, Southwest Eggs, Mexican Hash, and French toast. With over 40 years of history in the neighborhood, it's a favorite meeting place for locals.
The sausage and gravy is excellent! There’s an extremely loud and lively atmosphere inside. Right outside of Liberty Park, it’s a nice place for brunch, but I’ll take outdoor seating next time! Service was also very quick.

The Park Café in Salt Lake City is one of those spots that clearly draws a crowd—you can tell by the fact that we waited about 45 minutes to get a table. To be fair, the service once we were seated was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. Everyone in our group seemed to love their food, which says a lot considering how different our orders were. I went with the Chilaquiles, one of my go-to breakfast favorites. They were… okay. Not bad by any means, but I’ve definitely had better. The red sauce just didn’t have much flavor, which was disappointing. The green sauce was better—it had a little more spice and a bit more depth—but still not quite the standout I was hoping for. Portion size was good, and the presentation was nice, but flavor-wise, it fell a little short for me. The atmosphere is energetic—almost too energetic. The noise level was so high that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation with the group without raising our voices. If you’re coming for a lively vibe and great service, you’ll be happy here. If you want a relaxed, quiet breakfast, this probably isn’t the place. Overall, good food, excellent service, but be prepared for a wait and a lot of noise.

Excellent service! The manager/owner casually found us seats when I told him we couldn’t stay since we had to catch a flight. Gold standard for customer service! And very cool vibes. Delicious food. Definitely don’t miss out on the French toast!!

My daughter and I had some time to kill before my dr appointment this morning. It was still early so we headed to The Park Cafe for some breakfast. Walking in, this joint was poppin!! I didn't think we were going to get sat as fast as we did. We got a cute little table in the corner. There are many servers there. The first gal grabbed our drink order. Hot coffee and Oj was dropped off quickly. I peeped out the menu on our way there so I knew what I wanted. Orders were taken shortly after. We kicked it and absorbed the vibe! The venue is dope. The decor, the variety of people eating there and the pace of it. It was fast moving and quick! Before we knew it, food was dropped off. I ordered the single breakfast. 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Simple breakfasts are the best breakfasts to me. I also added some gravy to my hashbrowns. My eggs were cooked perfectly, over medium. The hashbrowns were crunchy and soft. The gravy made the hashbrowns that much tastier! I believe it's sausage gravy but it wasn't overwhelming in sausage. I'm good with just pepper country gravy and the gravy today was just right! My sourdough toast was buttered nicely, not one dry spot! My daughter ordered the sausage and mushroom hash. Man did she get a lot of food! You can see the nice pieces of sausage and mushrooms. The hash had onions and green peppers through out the potatoes. Her plate was hearty! We were only able to eat about half of our plates. I love how this joint is controlled choas. They are a well oiled machine with people coming in, people leaving, orders and everything else in between. The staff is super friendly. The food was fantastic! And the prices here are reasonable! You're not paying an arm and leg just to have a good meal to start the day. I'm happy I got to check this place out while I'm staying here in SLC. One of the best meals I have had so far! I look forward to coming back if my schedule allows it! I'm sold on the hashbrowns and gravy!

My fiancée and I came here after our morning flight and it totally hit the spot. The food was awesome and the portions were huge. We both left full and happy. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. You could tell they actually cared about giving good service. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast! We’ll be back for sure!

Excellent! I was in town on business and so happy I stopped by. Super friendly staff. Great tasting coffee. I chose the Biscuits and Gravy. Super flavorful with proper sausage gravy with a soft and fluffy biscuit! Excellent! Great music too.

I flew here for an event and also for the Biscuits and Gravy here. The food was amazing !!! The portions are right, the seasoning perfectly executed. The staff are so friendly and so efficient here it is truly mind blowing compared to our local spots. No I was not paid or anything. I was just truly shocked how incredible our experience was. Please if your visiting the area this is a must. Thank you Park from your friendly neighborhood Bear.

This little Gem is amazing. First off All the staff are sweet and willing to help anyone. I saw two employees help customers up the stairs. People came around and requested to refill my coffee. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was so nice and cute. Whoever is the manager of this restaurant is doing a damn good job.

Penny Ann's Cafe is a charming eatery known for its classic American breakfast and lunch options, as well as an array of shakes and pies. Originally a small family cafe in New York, it has since expanded to two locations in the Salt Lake City area. The cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that appeals to both locals and visitors. Their menu features an abundance of affordable and delicious dishes, with breakfast served all day long.
#PennyAnnsCafe Salt Lake City. The Cafe was included on the Food Network Show #ManVsFood they are known for thier #HeavenlyHotCakes in which they incorporate sour cream in the batter. It makes them light and fluffy. My husband ordered the airy hotcakes with his lovely P.A.C. #DenverOmelet which included Ham, green peppers, and onions served with Home fried potatoes. He opted to upgrade the syrup to the real maple syrup rather than settle for the sugary corn syrup that often accompanies food in the western United States. Being Canadian also demands loyalty to REAL Maple syrup. I decided to try their Irish P.A.C. Burger 1/3 lb. burger patty topped with Swiss cheese, thinly sliced fresh corned beef, and coleslaw. The first time I had Coleslaw on a Sandwich was a yummy Ham Sandwich in Tralee, Ireland. So I thought the burger was truly appropriate to be called Irish. I paired the burger with a side of Luscious #TomatoBasilSoup which definitely didn’t skimp on the Basil and Tomato flavor. It was a wonderful brunch shared with my man.

This is a nice diner. It's a charming older restaurant that has great service. The food was above average, and the servings were large. The dining area is dated and somewhat cramped.
Nelson W — Google review
Stopped by Penny Ann’s Café since it’s just around the corner from me. We were seated right away with no wait, which was a nice surprise, and our food came out fast. The service was quick and attentive throughout. The food overall was decent—though the peppers seemed pre-grilled and ended up a bit soggy. That said, the hotcakes were amazing as always and definitely the highlight of the meal.

Mixed Experience at Penny Ann’s Café – Great Scones, Slow Service We were seated right away on the shaded patio, which was a nice start. There’s not a lot of indoor seating, and parking was tricky—most spots were full due to nearby apartments, so we had to park across the street. Unfortunately, our experience with service was underwhelming. Our server seemed very frazzled and wasn’t very attentive. It took a while to get our drinks, and the kitchen was clearly backed up with DoorDash orders, which delayed our food as well. The highlight? The fried scones—amazing! If I could eat five of them, I would. The biscuits and gravy were fine, just average. The fried potatoes were pretty bland, and we plan to doctor them up at home. We were given our check before we finished eating, and our server forgot a to-go box multiple times. Not the worst place, but with the overall slow service and average food (aside from the scones), we probably won’t be back.

Fabulous breakfast spot in SLC. They are fairly priced to make it a go to spot. I’ve eaten here twice already. The service is always super fast and the servers are very nice. The food is fantastic, the hot cakes do live up to their claims.

Stopped by for my first ever lunch visit and enjoyed a meal just as delicious as any breakfast I've had here. Perfectly grilled cheese, tomato, and bacon sandwich on scrumptious sourdough bread. Quick, courteous service!

This was an absolute wonderful experience! We had the breakfast burrito, the pork verde nachos, pancakes, and cinnamon sugar cake bites. It was the perfect savory and sweet brunch (I especially loved the nachos with my eggs on top)! Loved talking to Julie and she explained more about the business. She was a delight! Thank you!!
Kyla E — Google review
I ordered them through DoorDash, and it was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! The omelette was so delicious the cheese was so creamy I thought it was cream cheese when I first cut into it! The egg itself wasn’t too thick or thin, all the ingredients tasted fresh! The scones were my favorite they were so fluffy and warm! The side of bacon was great! Not too crispy not too undercooked! I felt compelled to call the restaurant to tell them how delicious it was the young lady was very nice and professional. All in all I’m very impressed and satisfied! I will definitely order from them again!

Feldman's Deli is a rustic-chic cafe that offers traditional Jewish deli cuisine, including sandwiches, knishes, and gefilte fish. This family-owned restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley is known for its authentic Jewish dishes like pastrami sandwiches, matzo ball soup, and unique twists on classics such as eggs benedict made with latkes.
Finally, a good Jewish Deli in Utah! I've been craving a hot Pastrami and Matzo Ball Soup, and this place didn't disappoint. Excellent service too! Second time eating here and it was just as good as the first. The quality of the food at this restaurant is excellent. Fresh and well prepared. Even the Matzo Balls were cooked all the way thru, which can be hard to find at some places.
Scott P — Google review
This place was recommended to me by some friends for authentic Jewish deli vibes, and I enjoyed it! My Rueben was really tasty. The bread on the sandwich was a bit soggy, and but overall, it was really flavorful and packed with meat. Unfortunately, they seemed to be understaffed, so it took us about 25 minutes or so to order, and then another 30 or so to have our food come out, but the service as a whole was still great for how many workers they had. I’d definitely come back and try something else they have in the menu. Worth checking out if you like Jewish delis!!
Kymble J — Google review
Everyone has been telling us to go here and they were right! The latkes and reuben were simply out of this world. The service was great, too. We loved the black and white cookie and the fries as well. We split a sandwich since they are so big and were so full afterwards. We will be back!
Becca S — Google review
Delicious. We arrived in the afternoon after lunch so there were only a few people inside. Very nice atmosphere. Husband ordered, not grilled, The Classics Pastrami sandwich and I ordered The Classics Corned Beef sandwich. Liked being able to have the "not grilled" option since the bread was very good and filled with plenty of tender meat. I was happy that I tried the Health Salad, vinegar not mayo slaw, because I thought it was the perfect combination of ingredients and vinaigrette. Two bagels were still available so we took one but would love to try a salt bagel sometime. (We need Feldman's in Ogden!)
Jeanette R — Google review
Absolutely delicious! We got the Rachel Combo with fries and potato salad. The portions were HUGE! My husband and I split a sandwich and it was plenty for the both of us. Can't wait to come back and try more!
Brittany H — Google review
Feldman's Deli has become a staple for a coworker and myself. This is the best Jewish Deli in Utah and the pastrami sandwich is my go-to. The fresh cut fries are some of my favorite in Utah and the latkas are also great. Matzo ball soup is okay. The actual matzo ball is giant but the broth lacks flavor. Service is typically friendly, fast, and on top of things. However, there is one guy that comes across as cold and unwelcoming each time I come in. Overall, I definitely recommend giving Feldman's a try!
Adam L — Google review
If you like (like I do!): Corned Beef, Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Coleslaw, Swiss and Thousand Island, then you NEEEEED to get down to Feldman’s ASAP and order yourself a “RACHEL COMBO”… 1/2 Lb Jewish Rye with Swiss, Thousand Island, Corned Beef, Pastrami, Sauerkraut & Coleslaw… 🤤 Literally the best Ruben/Corned beef sandwich in Utah. It’s ain’t your deli sliced pastrami/corn beef from the supermarket!
Anthony B — Google review
So so good! We were seated right away and the service was fantastic. I think our waitress was named Kim, and she was super friendly and attentive. The coconut lemonade was absolutely delicious. The fries were so good we couldn't stop eating them even when we were full. The sandwiches were HUGE and we should've shared but we wanted to try different flavors. Would definitely come back again!

Lazy Day Cafe is a charming, family-owned eatery that offers a delightful breakfast experience in a relaxed and unassuming atmosphere. The cozy cafe features counter seating and a warm fireplace, providing the perfect setting to enjoy their hearty, home-style dishes. Their menu includes mouthwatering options such as lemon pancakes with homemade buttermilk syrup, pork chili verde burritos, classic eggs Benedict, and shrimp and grits.
I used to come here with my Granny years ago in high school and I haven’t been here since she moved. I woke up at 9 AM on Sunday and randomly the thought popped into my head to go here so I dragged my boyfriend out of bed and we arrived at about 10 o’clock and were seated immediately. The staff was super friendly. I can’t remember our server’s name, but she had multicolored hair and was very attentive. The hostess was fantastic as well. I ordered what I used to order years ago the most delightful delectable delicious lemon pancakes with the caramel syrup. My boyfriend ordered the lazy deluxe, I believe. We absolutely destroyed the food in a matter of seconds. It was so good and exactly as I remember it. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable. I’ll be coming back here more often for sure.
Natascha M — Google review
Came to get some breakfast at this place, and it was really good! The gravy was good, but I think next time I will get the Lazy Deluxe vs the biscuits and gravy. The Laxy Deluxe comes with chicken, which was very fresh but just a little bit salty, but still it was really good and moist. The pancakes were also really good with coffee.

Charming Café with Fantastic Food & Friendly Service – Lazy Day Café We were seated within 10 minutes with a party of six, which felt like a large group for this cozy spot. It wasn’t overly busy, but the food was fantastic! There’s also nice shaded outdoor seating available. The girls working there were friendly and had a lot of spunk—got a little annoyed when we asked to split the check. I ordered the Lazy Day Breakfast with over-easy eggs. They were a bit oily but tasty, especially on the wheat toast. The bacon was cooked perfectly—crispy, just how I like it. The cheesy grits blew me away—I’m usually not a grits person, but I’m so glad I tried them. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was the standout dish—easily the best meal at the table! The kids loved their waffles topped with berries, whipped cream, and a delicious sauce (great recommendation from our waitress!). We also tried the lemon pancakes, which were light, bright, and very tasty. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we’d happily come back for more. Highly recommend for a relaxed, flavorful breakfast or brunch!

We absolutely love this place! My husband and I came here on our way home from our honeymoon back in March. We loved it so much that we try to come as often as possible. We would come every weekend if we could but we live clear in North Ogden, so we make the drive when we can! Lazy Day Cafe is so cute and has the most delicious breakfast food. The staff are all so friendly and give great service. I am so grateful that they have many great vegan options! I've been vegan for 10 years, and it's sometimes hard to find places that we both enjoy going to.

Came for the Waffle, Found My Favorite Breakfast Spot. I originally came to Lazy Day Café just for a good waffle, but it ended up becoming my favorite breakfast spot in Salt Lake City. The waffle was perfect, fluffy, golden, and so flavorful I could eat it plain. No butter, no syrup, just the waffle. But once I added the butter, their homemade syrup, berry compote, and whipped cream, everything came together. I haven’t found anything like it back home in Austin, Texas. I also ordered the Lazy Day Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. And let me just say, this was the kind of flavor that makes you pause and savor every bite. The hash browns were soft and full of flavor. The sausage was juicy and full of flavor. The bacon, cooked just the way I like it. You can taste that it’s made in-house, and that alone set it apart. It went above and beyond what I expected. And shoutout to Jennifer, who served me with genuine warmth. She made the whole experience even better. This place isn’t just good—it’s memorable. I’ll be back every time I’m in town.

🍳☕ Lazy Day Café: el lugar perfecto para desayunar sin prisa y con mucho sabor. I went for the Benedictine eggs... and I stayed for the apapacho to the soul. What a delight! The hollandaise sauce was so soft that it looked like it was made by angels with an apron. All served with love, homemade flavor and that cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay all morning. The name honors the place: ideal for a day without eagerness, with coffee in hand and a happy belly. 💛 If you are in Utah, awaken your craving and stop by Lazy Day. Your stomach will thank you. 😌🍴

I went here with a group of 5 people for a coworker's going away party and we had a BLAST! The service was great, but let me tell you, the food speaks for itself! We all agreed that they served the BEST hashbrowns that we have ever eaten. They were perfectly textured, moist, and FLAVORFUL! I ordered the classic eggs benedict and it was perfectly flavored and not too heavy. The lemon pancakes were so tasty. One of the guys ordered the deluxe breakfast sandwich and it looked worth the price. He absolutely cleaned his plate.

Got the chicken and waffles and eggs Benedict. The fried chicken was literally burnt and drier than a 70 yo grandma after menopause. Asked our waitress to ask the cook to remake the chicken and the cook refused saying that’s how it would be remade anyway. The waitress took the charge off at least. The yolk in the eggs Benedict’s egg was also completely cooked. Poached eggs are supposed to be with a runny yolk… I don’t know if the chef was having a bad day or what but completely turned off from going here again.

SLC Eatery is a laid-back dining spot with an eclectic menu featuring a variety of international dishes, along with a selection of cocktails. The restaurant offers unique first course options such as cauliflower fattoush salad, Dungeness crab, mushroom parmesan ravioli, and grilled hearts of palm. For the second course, diners can choose from Wagyu beef, poached black cod, smoked celery root, organic chicken or crispy duck bo ssam for two.
We loved the breakfast brunch! A variety of cuisines listed and options for sweet and savory. I loved the savory scone- my favorite part of the meal! We shared the scone because it had a lot of oil and it was filling. I really liked the marketfish rice bowl as well, it had flavorful sauce and it was healthy. I added the updated menu in the photos.

Very good food! We loved the prawn - it’s served cold but so delicious. The focaccia is amazing. My duck was a little chewy, but very tasty. Everything tastes so fresh and you can tell they love cooking.

It was a little try hard for me. There’s nothing particularly special about the atmosphere or space. We got a few dishes and they were fine, but no wow factor. I would come here again if someone else wanted to come, but probably not of my own accord. When the server says the crust of the cheesecake is tough… probably not a place that’s worth the $$.

Portlander visiting SLC Eatery by way of local recommendation! I'm a major foodie and I was looking for a brunch spot during my visit. This place did not disappoint! Except the seating layout options could be optimized. In my reservation, I specifically requested to NOT be sat by the kitchen, and yet... The hostess takes us to a table adjacent to the kitchen. Had My reservation been for even an hour later in the day where the restaurant was completely full, I wouldn't have been able to switch tables. Thus, likely putting a sour taste in my experience there. (I just don't like to sit near kitchens, they are loud, it's not an unreasonable or uncommon request). More cozy chairs would be an idea! The menu was fire. No complaints there.
Sami M — Google review
Amazing ambiance. This restaurant was a full on experience. Dim sum carts provide the opportunity to view the appetizers prior to purchasing them. I had the calamari fried rice, NY strip, Apple cheesecake puff pastry and washed it all down with a Hot Toddy. The calamari fried rice was jam packed with flavor and the crunchy rice was a nice touch. The NY strip was cooked to perfection and was so tender. The smoked potatoes and broccolini were also delicious. The dessert was heavenly and the hot toddy was refreshing and perfect for the colder weather. Overall SLC Eatery gets 5 stars for me. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and it’s a great place to bring your friends or significant others. It’s on the pricier side and I splurged a bit after tipping I spent $100 total. For the price it was well worth it!

wow, just wow! this restaurant is fantastic! they come around with a dim sum cart full of hot and cold options to pick from and that is such a fun concept to try new small plates! the shrimp were phenomenal i will say! as for entrees the mafaldine was absolutely delicious i wanted to lick the plate clean. the bison as well was wonderful and tender. oh and the service was so great! it was a great night having dinner here! 10/10 am recommending to anyone looking for somewhere new to try modern american classic dishes with a unique twist!

This was a fun spot that’s worth trying. Didn’t notice the two parking spots out front so we had to park down the street a little. The Utah scone was the highlight of the visit. The desserts off the cart were tasty, but the two chocolate/ricotta donuts weren’t anything special. One of the dessert was vegan and you would never know it! We were impressed with it but I’d like for it to have had a stronger pistachio flavor. The smoked cheddar drop biscuits were good, but I realized that I didn’t notice any cheese as the name implies. There was also a pretty strong fennel flavor, so if that’s something you don’t like I’d choose something different.

The Bridge Cafe and Grill is a unique restaurant that features American cuisine with a Brazilian twist, as well as all-day breakfast. The outdoor patio is perfect for people to relax and enjoy the lovely views of Park City Mountain while they eat.
Drove up to park city to see the fall colors and stopped here for brunch. We were originally seated outside and Gianna (hostess) noticed we were cold and came over and offered us seating inside the restaurant. This observant and caring gesture meant a lot to us. Once seated inside we ordered eggs Benedict and the bridge eggs breakfast along with tea and orange juice. The food was delicious! The breakfast potatoes were my fav! They had a crisp outside and soft inside. Eggs were cooked perfectly and everything else was too. The food came out fast and the service was pretty good other than having to wait a bit to get our check.

A pleasant, no frills cafe, with a nice outdoors space on the city's pulley landing platform. We ordered a GF avocado toast, Cuban pork sandwich and breakfast tacos, a drip.coffee and a mocha. Everything was good. Portions are small, unless you get a burger, but reasonably priced for the locale. Great, courteous service.

Came for brunch at around noon on a Saturday and boy it was busy! Had to get on the wait list for a table for two. We had hoped to be inside since it was windy and sunny but ended up outside, I wish I'd brought a hair tie and sunglasses. The food was good; my husband had the omelet and said the egg part didn’t impress him, but everything else about it was great! Hot chocolate was a lot more impressive than I'd anticipated, it was really creamy and not too hot! I'm not a big fan of pepper jack cheese, but the chicken sandwhich was worth it nonetheless, it was really good! The menu is fairly limited, but you'll still find something that interests you! Overall pretty fun place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Food with an Incredible View! We stopped at The Bridge Café in Park City and had an absolutely delicious meal. I ordered a burger topped with kielbasa, bacon, and cheese… easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The bacon aioli sauce had just the right amount of spice and tied everything together perfectly. We sat out on the patio overlooking the mountain, and the view alone was worth the visit. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Between the amazing food, great service, and unbeatable atmosphere, it was just an all-around fantastic stop. If you’re in Park City, do yourself a favor and grab a meal here… you won’t be disappointed!

We had a great experience overall. The warm aroma of coffee was a pleasant welcome, and the servers were all very kind and provided great service. Food ranked from worst to best: I got the omelette and was disappointed. They use liquid eggs, and the sourdough just tasted like white bread. The breakfast potatoes tasted suspiciously similar to crappy frozen ones. For the price I would expect higher quality. The pancakes were pretty good, the almond slivers were a great touch! The bacon was VERY good. There is free parking nearby, and the location is central and gorgeous!

I walked in just after opening this morning and without hesitation we were welcomed with smiles and open arms by your staff/kitchen as a group of > 30 youth hockey players/family members. The service was impeccable, with particular attention to hungry kiddos and ensuring everyone had a seat. Each order of food that came out was plated with a keen eye and each bite was as delicious as the last. Bussing of our dishes as we wrapped up stories of hockey was seamless and with grace and patience. I am thoroughly impressed with our experience today. Sun Valley Youth Hockey will be back! Food was hot, but lacked salt. I prefer to season my eggs and potatoes myself, so this was good for me. Value was good.

As a Salt Lake City local, this is one of my favorite greasy breakfast spots! You can never go wrong with any of the skillets or scrambles, and I love that any omelette can be made into a scramble. I love the OTC skillet! And I usually like to sub the bread for a multigrain pancake. Their pancakes are perfection. You have to know going in that the environment in there is a little hectic and crazy… But the service is always so fast with constant attention to making sure you have everything you need. After shiny places keep getting built, this is always my favorite.

Banana nut pancakes were really good. They are huge and I’d never order more than one. French toast was good but a little undercooked and mushy in the middle. Home fries were barely cooked so just raw potatoes

It's a hole in the wall, and holy cow is it incredible. Absolutely delicious. Update! We tried the lunch menu this time and I'm still just as in love with it as I was for breakfast. So amazing

$30 with tip for Eggs Bendict & a piece of what they call French toast. (1 piece very lightly coated with egg wash.. the center is pure white bread..) the Hollidaise was "yellow but no zest no character. .. the potatoes are cooked in "eh" oil that id never use at home & mushy not crispy.. got Chai Cold was good... that was the most memorable of the rest rather non-descript meal.... Once a year in try to like this place but leave disappointed... not worth $30 !

Breakfast restaurant
Tulie Bakery is a popular spot in Salt Lake City known for its seasonal French pastries, sandwiches, and carefully sourced coffee. The bakery offers fantastic pies available only during the Thanksgiving season, with options to choose from in their pastry case or pre-order a larger pie. The flavors change annually but favorites include apple pie with caramelized apples and pecan pie with bourbon and orange.
We love this bakery! We started off by visiting their stand at the Salt Lake City farmers market for weeks getting croissants, plain and raisin, we loved them. Today we visited their actual location, baked goods overload. So much to choose from. The blueberry muffins are hands down the best we’ve ever had. The blueberries are huge and the muffin is moist and delicious. The danish was sweet and tasty. Plan to visit more to try everything once. Can’t go wrong with this bakery.

The redeeming quality of this place is the food. Otherwise the cafe is hot, you have no cell service and I’m sorry but in 2025 why do they not have WiFi? I couldn’t even get an uber to get out of there. This has not only happened to me but my friends as well when they have visited. It’s a safety concern. I ended up having to pay for Wi-Fi just to leave. I waited 20 minutes for toast when I was only one of two people in the cafe. The staff are short at best and very consistently rude. They didn’t have a place to put your dishes that I could find so I cleaned up my trash as best I could and left my one plate and one cup. Was yelled at as I left so I walked back in to buss my dishes after I said sorry I couldn’t see anywhere to put them. It felt like they wanted to embarrass me. I very much regret tipping on my TWO purchases I made and hate that I spent money here. I will never go back.

Had a lovely morning walk to Tulie last week after reading so many great reviews. I’m a huge croissant fanatic, so of course I had to try one! The service was on point and the coffee was delicious. The croissant itself was buttery, flaky, and really well made. I went with the egg and cheese croissant — the cheese was perfect, but I did wish there was a bit more egg to balance it out. The ratio was just slightly off, but overall still a delicious breakfast and a great spot to start the day.

Overall feeling underwhelmed with the experience here. Service left a lot to be desired, we came at a not so busy time but there was still limited staff and a wait. Our order was just left on the counter without letting us know, rather than brought to the table or even calling our name. Pastries were high quality and served cold. Drip coffee was great, no issues. No free Wi-Fi in sight, which seems strange for the environment they have and limited or ability to stay here to enjoy our food and drinks. Most jarring here is the pricing ($7+ for a croissant!). Without ordering specialty drinks we spent more than $13 per person. Far more than I would expect for small cafe.

Favorite bakery in town! Everything here is so tasty and really just done right. We love everything here, but my favorite is the sticky bun. I always ask for it to be warmed up. We also got a piece of the Yuzu Olive Oil cake today, thought it was a little too sweet. But, it was still good none the less.

I'm a flight attendant, and I love going to different bakeries on my layovers. I went here on Friday Aug 22 around 1:00. The man taking orders at the counter was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I ordered the ricotta toast, which was good. Its important to note that my cell phone stopped getting service in this area (I have ATT), I couldnt access maps, messages wouldn't send or receive, and I was traveling for work so I was using uber and Lyft. My phone was trying so hard to work that it began over heating. I couldn't call an uber to get back to my hotel, so I asked if they had wifi. I was rudely told no they don't in order to keep people from being on laptops, I understand, but I explained it was a safety issue and I couldn't get cell service to get back to my hotel and it was over 3 miles, too far to walk. I ended up walking about a half mile until I got to an area where I had cell reception. Overall this was a very uncomfortable negative experience and I did not feel safe. I ended up having to walk about half a mile and have my boyfriend send me an uber from 1,000 miles away. All of this could have been avoided if the staff put any effort into customer service or had an ounce of compassion. When it's a matter of safety, I feel like the shop's WiFi should be made available. The food was fine, not worth all the trouble and there's definitely better options with owners and staff who are more deserving of your money.

Great bakery for coffee, sandwiches and baked goods. Can’t go wrong with any of the baked goods. Cookies are buttery good. Staff is very nice and friendly. It’s usually busy all times of the day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I tried this place a few days ago and I’m still thinking about how good it was! We don’t normally eat things sugary like this, although if you want to live a little this place is really good! We had their avocado toast as well as their almond croissant and they were the best of its kind we have ever had!

Absolutely gorgeous, huge space and amazing coffee and food. Highly recommend. I've been a few times now. The Honestly John latte was lovely (cherry bitters added), I thought it was unique yet subtle. Good vibes here.

This location is spacious! Wi-fi for working, seating for hanging out on main floor or up on the second floor, there is even a closed ‘quiet room’ for studying, that’s visible through glass- so you can still see and be seen. Love the atmosphere and decor, and the coffee is smooth not bitter, this coffeehouse is doing it right, good community feeling with high quality products! My oat latte was artistically finished and this cold matcha blueberry thing that my date got was also amazing looking and tasting. Getting matcha right is an art that has been perfected at Publik Coffee Roasters- they impress on all fronts.

Stopped here a couple times while in SLC for work. Both experiences offered great cold brew, genuine customer service and a place to get some emails taken care of. The parking on the street was full both times but there is a parking lot for Publik on the side of the building that I was able to find parking for. Would definitely go back again.

One of my favorite coffee shops in salt lake. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is so delicious. Such a good spot to meet with friends or work, it is very spacious with such a cool vibe. My go to order is the honestly John latte and avocado toast, but you really can’t go wrong with anything.

First time in today and absolutely loved it. It's magical! 2 stories of tables+ chairs. The barista was so kind to make my coffee extra sweet for me since I'm pretty new to it! Could've stayed here all day. The coffee and blueberry muffin were delish!

This coffee is s neat place to have a good cup of coffee and relax and either do work, chill or read. It's a very open space and has lots seating even outside. I had the matcha Ube latte that was very good and my friend has a normal latte. They have very good selections overall and the staff was very nice. The space isn't very noisy at all so you and another friend can chit chat without having to talk over one another.

Nestled in the picturesque Big Cottonwood Canyon just below Solitude, Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant is a charming woodland retreat offering cozy accommodations and a laid-back dining experience. The restaurant pays homage to the area's mining history with hearty portions and high-quality ingredients in every dish, including their famous corned beef hash and eggs for breakfast. During the summer, cyclists can enjoy a scenic ride up to the lodge to indulge in delectable treats like Bananas Foster French Toast.
We really enjoyed this as a family, my youngest is 9. We parked by the highway and hiked all the way up, there were a lot of people on the trail. You can take breaks on the way there but it is a good hike. Once you get to the end you can enjoy the view and the waterfall. You can even climb to it but be very careful as it is really steep. I think it is worth the hike.

This review is for the restaurant only. My husband brought his Grandparents here last fall and they had the bison burgers and raved about how good they were. My mom was in town visiting so I thought I would bring her here after a drive in the canyon. The vibe of the place is great. Rustic and spacious. Server was very sweet and friendly. The food may have been some of the nastiest I’ve had in a long time and I’m not hard to please. The pork nachos looked like they’d been out for a while and were just disgusting. 😅 The burger I ordered was totally uncooked on the inside. The server did offer to have another one cooked though. The flies were swarming our food even though we were sitting inside. I wouldn’t have minded much of this, but the food is pretty expensive for what it is, which made it worse. Honestly, I would probably drop into this place again for a drink and some fries after a hike or ski day just because it’s got some character. But I wouldn’t have anything else.
Lauren B — Google review
Review is for the restaurant. I can't speak on the food because we didn't get any. Firstly, if you hate your job, as the hostess/bartender obviously does, maybe find something else? We were there on a Monday afternoon. It was somewhat busy but not overly so. We waited 15 minutes for a seat... not too bad... After being seated we were completely ignored - I mean completely. No eye contact, nothing. Servers around and not really that busy. We sat for 15 minutes! I know, I could have flagged someone down, but it got to be a "let's see what happens" kind of game. We left. Went to the Porcupine, where we were greeted with smiles and happiness. Too bad. The Silver Fork is such a cool space, but a place's atmosphere depends on the staff - it can be magical or, like the song says, "Kind of a Drag."

This place is a hidden gem! Awesome! Skinny Eddie waited on us tonight. The food was excellent—creative and imaginative. Loved the outdoor seating with the hummingbirds and the view, LOVED the artichoke dip, the roasted balsamic tomatoes, the bison burger, the beet salad. The desserts were yum! Lava cake was a standout. The apple and blackberry cobblers were also really nice. Such a great evening. Loved it so much.
MKB — Google review
I had a bad experience with the restaurant and service. I went in the afternoon for lunch, the restaurant had good number of tables available, but we were asked to wait more than 20-25 mins, we were just 2 people. We were hungry, the table was given us late. The food was not at all good, we ordered the bison burger and open turkey, bison burger was okay but the open turkey was not at all good. The place was full of flies, it was annoying to eat while fleeing away the flies. We also ordered bacon on the side and were very disappointed. We had good hopes and expectations looking at the reviews on the restaurant, but didn’t expect this. I am not sure if I would recommend to anyone.
Himavarshini K — Google review
Ate in the restaurant. A GREAT bison burger. Great service. I felt the iced tea was rather over priced. But I do understand I’m paying a bit more due to location. I notice my receipt says “magnetic card present:yes”. That implies my card was swiped rather than using a chip. Much less secure. Concerning.
Roger M — Google review
Husband and I traveling up the Big Cottonwood Canyon Road saw this quaint restaurant on side of road. Several appetizer, salads, sandwich’s which we ate a Bison burger very good along with artichoke dip. Then dessert they had to pick from cobblers we chose blackberry and scoop of ice cream.

Used to love this place. Quality is not what it was. Sent one dish back cause it was not fresh... not even close. The ribs were tough and not how theyve been previously. The atmosphere is great although we were somewhat accosted by bees since we were outside. I had about 6 flying around me hoping for a bit of my food.

Publik Kitchen is a small but cozy brick-and-mortar restaurant that specializes in artisan toast, eggs benedict, and chicken salad. The restaurant has a simple and cozy patio to match its simple and cozy menu.
Sunday brunch at Publik Kitchen is always a solid choice. The atmosphere is trendy and even paced. Doesn't feel rushed and the service is always kind and efficient. (If you're in a hurry, probably not the spot, in a good way). The space is open, intimate and both patios make for good outside dining if you are in needed outside vibes. Had their seasonal Solstice Jubilee, latte with white chocolate vanilla bean infused with orange extract topped with pink peppercorn and it was a 10/10! The Publik Hash was the meal and it was also delicious! Def a must try if you're in SLC and need a new fun spot to eat and hang out.

I came to get breakfast in here. I know their coffee is really good, so I also wanted to give their food a try. Their brunch is good. I tried their toast and gravy, which was ok, and the burger was good. I also got the French toast, which was ok. I’m just going to stick to their coffee.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting SLC and we were glad we did! Started with bloody Mary’s then ordered food from a delicious menu with great options. Food was spot on and loved watching other options come out of the kitchen. Loved the chef’s attempt of spreading happiness on the plate! Atmosphere was modern and simple but beautiful at the same time. Service was fine but some of the crew could have used a cup of coffee to perk up! Will be back.

Came for the GF French Toast but they had something happen with the mixture the night before. However, their GF house made bread/toast - amazing. I ended up getting the Avocado toast and sausage- which was also really good. The sausage was also something made from scratch and it didn’t have the “made in a plant” taste or consistency which was appreciated. Overall if you want a farm to table dining experience, come here. Additionally, their staff as a collective were nice and hospitable. Look forward to eating here again!

Such a cute spot in downtown Salt Lake! Always busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The food was decent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere is charming. Great place for a casual breakfast or brunch. Closes by 2 every day, so go for an early brunch. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros ($13) with Turkey Bacon (+$5) and avocado (+$3). The turkey bacon was not worth it, otherwise, a good start to the day. They serve bottomless coffee ($4), and even send you on your way with a to-go cup if you want one; adding a nice touch to the experience.

Easily the best breakfast experience I’ve ever had—hands down! Not just in Salt Lake, but anywhere. The steak bowl was massive and absolutely delicious. Great breakfast, brunch or lunch spot downtown, steak and eggs, omelettes, and Juan's tacos are solid winners, good portions and delicious food served by friendly and attentive servers prepared with care and quality. Espresso is okay, nothing to write home about however their fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing - stick with citrus drinks, they are very good. Fairly busy on the weekends but not too long of a wait, and well worth it. Highly recommended.

Food was really good. Very much homie food. The breakfast Sammie was just a normal good sandwich. Nothing special. Red velvet French toast was amazing unless you are looking for something less sweet. Tacos were pretty unique. Kids meals were fun and just about everything was finished.

My Uber driver recommended their breakfast. I went because of the name. As you might imagine they serve eggs. I had a breakfast sandwich as per my servers recommend. It was a good sandwich, I would choose a different type of bread, just because I'm not a fan of softer bread. Their coffee is not the best, but they give you some to go, which seems nice. The staff is very nice and helpful. And the place is uplifting.

We visited Egg EggBurgh in the Peery Hotel after my boyfriend raved about it—he practically lived off their breakfast during a conference last year. Visit #1 (Breakfast): We ordered the salmon eggs Benedict, which came on an everything bagel with seasoning. It was definitely different—in a good way—and tasty, though the bagel got a bit overwhelming after a few bites. A half serving would’ve been plenty. We also got the 2x2x2 with over hard eggs, turkey bacon, and red velvet French toast. Alejandro, our server, recommended the red velvet over the regular and we took his advice. Unfortunately, while eating, we discovered a small piece of blue plastic inside the French toast. Alejandro was professional and understanding when we showed him, and the manager came over shortly after to apologize, explaining it likely came from the blue gloves used in the kitchen. She was kind, took the meal off our bill, and offered a replacement even though we declined. Her great attitude actually convinced us to return the next day. Visit #2 (Lunch): We decided to switch things up and try the lunch menu. We ordered the chicken avocado wrap and the hangover burger, requesting the burger on a sesame bun instead of the standard. When it came out, the bun hadn't been swapped. A male manager accompanied our server and rather firmly said they don’t carry sesame buns. We pointed out that it’s listed as an option on the menu, and after checking, he returned, surprised, admitting it was indeed on the menu. He offered to remake the burger or not toast the bun, but we declined. Though his initial tone felt a bit confrontational, we appreciated the effort to fix it, and they ended up giving us 50% off the meal. While both visits had issues, the staff and especially the managers went above and beyond to make things right, which we really appreciated. The space itself is cute, clean, and the service is friendly. That said, we opted not to go back a third time during our stay—two strikes was enough. Still, props to the team for their hospitality and professionalism in handling things.

Taco restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, La Barba Coffee and Breakfast Tacos is a delightful gem that goes beyond your average coffee shop. This spacious café not only serves expertly roasted coffee but also boasts an impressive menu of made-from-scratch breakfast tacos. Each taco features heavenly flour tortillas and vibrant house-made salsas that elevate your morning meal to new heights.
Super fun coffee shop! Cortado is great if you’re looking for a dark, creamy option. And of course, you’ve got to grab a breakfast taco while you’re here!! They make all the tortillas in house, right in front of you! Another cool thing I like about this place is the HR menu - it’s simple, easy to read, not too overwhelming, and they even list all of their vendors (which are all small, local businesses). Very spacious inside with fun music, colors, and vibes.
Kymble J — Google review
Decided to visit based off of the combination of breakfast tacos and coffee. Have heard good things and was expecting something a little more after arriving. There are a lot of customers and it seems that the business has a hard time keeping up with the pace. I waited about 15 minutes for two burritos and a coffee. I was aware I would have to wait and was fine with it but realized after watching that there aren't enough people to keep up with the demand this place has and that the kitchen set up might actually be hindering their back of house operations. The taco (which isn't a taco - it's a burrito) was mediocre and taste essentially like an egg bacon burrito I could make at home with perhaps a little more flavor. The latte I had was not satisfying to me as a pretty frequent coffee drinker. It was weak and watery. I also might not have heard them call my number or something as my coffee was barely warm. The environment is the opposite of what the name would indicate as it is a sterile and modern museum like space that is not comfortable or very inviting. This place based off of the name to me should have more elements that might make a person feel at home. Not a terrible experience just not something I will be going out of my way to experience again. The price of my visit also...wasn't great for what I got.

Breakfast tacos are great. The tortillas are awesome. they have great taste. The bacon was good and the salsas had great flavor. I wish the potatoes had more of a crisp to them. Good service. Plenty of seating. Parking sucks

I was looking for a great breakfast taco and was not disappointed! La Barba is owned by a Texas transplant so you know the tacos will be legit. Great tortillas, fabulous salsa verde, and the red salsa was roasted with a hint of lime. We had a collection of different breakfast tacos that were all fantastic.

Enjoyed a cortado and an egg, potato, chorizo taco. You can watch them make the tortillas in the kitchen. Food is made to order, so be prepared to wait for food when it's busy (20 min). Not a fast grab and go place, but if you have some time I highly recommend it! There's plenty of parking in the back and it's a really cute area to walk around!
Beka S — Google review
I have been coming here twice a month for the past 3 years. I am still ordering two chorizo tacos and cortado because it’s been amazing every time. The tortillas are hand made every day and really are the perfect thing to grab before skiing/biking/Utah adventuring. The cortado is perfectly creamy and the espresso is just the right flavor. Also, there is amazing bike parking! 10/10 for a local spot.

Wonderful drip coffee. It’s very rare to encounter a coffee shop offering a geisha as their standard drip. When I smelled the coffee, I was thinking…wow, these guys are using a naturally processed coffee… when we asked, I was surprised… a Colombian Geisha!
Chad W — Google review
Unreal. I have really gotten into coffee the last year and since finding La Barba, I refuse to drink anything else. I use the standard espresso at home, and it is perfection every time. It’s sharp, it’s dark, and the flavor is smooth. Other coffees I found myself always needing to add other flavors, with this, it’s a dash of creamer and I’m good to go. They care about your experience with coffee as much as they do in making it.

WOW!!! Just wow! Came here on our way back home to Colorado after our week vacay enjoying Utah. I couldn't narrow down which restaurant to pick as there are quite a few options to choose from in the area. So happy I went with MBH. Atmosphere had a very mid century chic vibe. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't busy at all. Service was great! Justis was our server and he was on top of it. He always took the time to refill our water and coffee without letting it dry out. OJ was freshly squeezed. Food- PHENOMENAL!! I ordered the croque madame, and wow!!! I don't typically favor ham so I almost didn't pick this, but something told me to take a chance. I'm so happy I went with it. This dish is out of this world. I have never tasted anything like it. I'm not sure if it's the guyere cheese or the sauce, but it's absolutely delicious. I would probably switch the potatoes it came with for the fries that come with their burgers. My potatoes didn't look seasoned at all. My friend's fries was well seasoned. I would also ask for their fry sauce to dip it in. My friend ordered their Brie Bacon Jam Burger and he absolutely loved it. Sweet, savory, and well balanced with the brie and jam. Definitely would come back and highly recommend.

All of the food was average at best. The gravy had good flavor but the biscuits were cold and very dry. The hollandaise sauce had a film on it but overall tasted okay. Both of our eggs were very under cooked. The hot chocolate tasted good but was served in the smallest cup. Overall, not worth the $50 plus tip.

This place isn’t just hype, folks! The food and the service both live up to the reputation. We went as a pair on a Saturday morning (10 ish) and we were sat almost immediately. All of the servers collaborate and are uniformly friendly and kind. And the food is delicious, served hot, and generous in portions.

I absolutely love this place! This was my first time coming in and I went in the morning looking to get some breakfast after my AM shift had left me starving. I saw that these guys offered killer pancakes, and so I went in excited to try it out. Let me tell you: this place does not dissapoint! Walking inside, the ambience and the decor/furniture used in this restaurant gave such a cute and cozy vibe to it. The natural lighting was also plentiful, emanating relaxation and happiness! I was greeted at the front door by a gentlemen that I sadly forgot the name of, and he took no time in showing me around and seating me at one of the booths. I was then hosted by a lady a minute after -- her name Maria -- and she has been such a generous and patient lady that made me feel at home. Without me asking, she offered me a water at the spot with these cute bubbly-looking glass cups and asked if I wanted a coffee. She also said that their "bottomless coffee" is unlimited meaning you just pay once and you can request a refill as much as you'd like! I never had to wait once for a refill nor did I actively have to seek out a waiter to serve me, so the service so far was great. I asked her what her recommendation was for a first-timer, and she recommended either the blueberry lemon pancakes or the eggs benedict----both popular menu items. I went ahead and opted for the pancakes, and I had asked her what the portion size was for the dish and she told me they were big portions and filling, so I was excited! I also decided to get a side of fries just for the craving too. Once the pancakes came, Maria wasn't joking around. Those pancakes were huge. I gotta say, most breakfast restaurants that I have visited recently don't put portions like these so this came to me as a pleasant surprise. The pancakes were so good----like they were so fluffy I don't think I've ever had pancakes like that in my life. They were definitely made with love and soul. Additionally, the blueberries were a perfect level of tart and juicyness which complemented the sweet and delicate taste of the lemon curd. Everything worked so well together, and at no point did I feel overwhelemed with sweetness or tartness. And it all tasted so fresh I loved every bite, along with being such a filling meal! The fries on the side were also plentiful, but they weren't game changing. They're just your average fries -- as Maria described -- but still pretty good! However, the complimentary fry sauce that came with the fries was such a game changer. Normally, I don't die hard for fry sauce but there's something that MBH has done to make this fry sauce taste distinctive, and it was pleasantly surprising lol! I wasn't even able to finish the pancakes as of how full I was and Maria noticed, and offered a to-go box for me. Her service was incredible and again she made me feel welcomed and was patient. I will definitely be visiting this place again when I'm in the area, and try the Eggs Benedict next time! So yeah, TDLR: great service, kind staff, and great food. Tastes fresh, food made with love and soul, and such a cute atmosphere to be in! If you're in the area and looking for either breakfast, brunch, or some sides to crave that hunger then this is the place to go! And definitely get to meet Maria she's awesome and makes the experience 10x better. PS: Not really a good photographer so the photos don't do it justice but just trust me it's sooooo good lol!

Pretty disappointed in this brunch spot. I came here for my 1 year anniversary with my wife. And the wait time was 35 minutes for two people, the food was undercooked and the servers only check on you once or twice the entire time your here. I ordered steak and eggs medium rare and the center came out cold and purple. Maybe this is a one time thing but I will not be coming back.

What a fabulous experience! 💖 Going to brunch on Mother's Day requires some patience in the wait. Yet, Marmalade Brunch House is worth the wait. Between the exceptional service, delicious food, elegant ambiance, inclusive bathrooms, and unique offerings, one can appreciate brunch on a whole new level. Our party enjoyed various foods. My favorite was the filet mignon benedict which was full of flavor and perfectly tender. The beignets were okay, but their main menu offerings are the stars. They even had special carnation bouquets they gifted mothers as they left. Thank you for such a magnificent time! Until next time, brunch on friends! 🌸🐝

Park City Roadhouse Grill is an outpost of a popular microbrewery chain, offering a variety of seasonal and year-round beers along with diverse bar bites. The venue features about a dozen freshly brewed beers on tap, including options like Chasing Tail Ale, Provo Girl Pilsner, and Polygamy Porter.
Stopped by for lunch, we were sat down immediately and had a very attentive server. The food was really good and the value for money definitely was there. They’ve got a great beer menu and a good food menu with many options. It’s a great food stop and worth the time.

I had high hopes for the sherry braised pork shank, it came out looking amazing, plated beautifully with carrots and mashed potatoes. The carrots were tender and well-seasoned, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were rich and flavorful. Unfortunately, the pork itself was a letdown. It tasted like the freezer it had been sitting in, like it had been frozen too long before cooking. The meat had a pink center and was dry throughout, which really made it hard to enjoy. For a dish that’s supposed to be the centerpiece, it just didn’t hold up. I also ordered a side of fries, but they came out completely unseasoned. They were more like thick, bland potato wedges than anything resembling fries. And for an additional $6.50 for the fries, i'd rather go to the burger king for double the amount, and they come with salt. On a brighter note, our server was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and had a great attitude the entire time. She definitely deserves 5 stars. But when the main part of the meal is off, especially at a Park City restaurant, it’s hard to justify a higher rating overall.

We love this place. Every time we’re in town we go for breakfast. The Utah scones are a must, and we’ve never had anything that’s bad. The service is always good and it will continue to be a favorite for us.

Good spot to eat that won't cost you too much. Gluten free options, only a few. Tried the bun and a chicken Sandwhich and am surprised with the bun. Most gluten free falls apart and takes like cardboard, and this did neither! Subbed salad for side and it tasted very fresh and good. Daughter got carne asado tacos and really liked them, husband got southwest chicken Sandwhich and tater tots, and liked both. Friend said their onion rings were really good too. Able to accommodate a large party in nook of a booth that worked well.

This is my favorite restaurant. Anytime I come to Salt Lake, I go to Park City to go to this location. For dinner I always get the meatloaf. It is so good. I went there this past Labor Day weekend. While other restaurants were packed, I was happy to get right in here. The meal was just as good as it always is. The service was ok. The server did not check on me during the meal and I had to wait a while to get my bill. Despite that, I will be back everytime I visit. In the past I have had the gravy and biscuits for breakfast that is beyond wonderful. I love this place.

We have eaten here several times. The food has been as good as, if not a little better than, the food we have found in any other local restaurants. The prices are a little bit high; however, they appear to be average for Park City. The service was good, but not exceptional. Our most attentive server was Sarah. I love the views from their window-side booths. The mountain side is ablaze with autumn colors. However, The flies are problematic for me. That being said, we have experienced flies in other restaurants here also. This restaurant location is very convenient, and their parking is ample, which seems to me to be relatively unusual for Park City.

While dining here at this establishment multiple times, we are always thrilled to see Raeghan on the floor. Not only does she greet us with a smile, she always goes above and beyond to ensure the perfect dining experience. She brings food to the table, assists the servers, checks food quality and runs an amazing restaurant. If you want great food, service and drinks, this is the place to be. Thank you for all you do, Raeghan!

When we walked in we were greeted by the hostess with a bright smile and sat fast. I went to use the bathroom first to wash hands and noticed they kept the bathroom really clean. We sat down at 5:30pm. The server had a welcoming smile and was very friendly. She got our drink order and then when she came back she kindly helped us switch tables because 2 of us didn’t like the circle booth. We felt like we were going to fall off the edge. We sat at a regular booth and added a chair on the end. We were all comfortable and felt like we had enough room for the 5 of us. We started with a fried pickle appetizer. It was delicious! Only complaint is the plate seemed so big and the pickles was so little. Was disappointing. Though the breading and sauce they provide was very tasty! We placed our order for dinner and 12 minutes later everything came out at one time freshly cooked except the tater tots. Those felt a little cold. The spicy chicken sandwich was definitely spicy! Mac n cheese was good but could have been creamier. Rueben was a good, but didn’t taste like fresh meat. The Cajun sauce is not spicy at all. Fries were tasty! We did get onion rings for one meal and didn’t know until the check it was $3.5 up charge. We felt that should have been communicated because the server gave us side option choices. Our waters stayed full and she even remembered to bring our limes Overall experience was good. Bill was $102 for 4 adults one kid and an appetizer. If we got entrees vs sandwiches it would have been $5-10 more per meal.

New American restaurant
Bambara Salt Lake City is an upscale American bistro located in the trendy Hotel Monaco. Chef Patrick LeBeau offers a menu featuring regional ingredients, such as elk sausage biscuits and locally sourced ham croque madame. The restaurant also offers surprises like prosciutto beignets with pear compote and whipped goat cheese tartine. The three-course menu, priced at $75 per person, includes options like roasted carrot salad and pan-seared scallops.
We enjoyed Bambara. They have a rotating menu so it was a little disappointing to find out that the dishes I was looking at on Google were no longer available. However, I got the ribeye steak and really enjoyed it. It was interesting with a bunch of edible flowers on it. I didn’t realize it was just the steak so you’ll definitely want to order a side. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool. This is definitely a place you would want to go to celebrate something really important. We parked in the parking garage next-door only to find out that they do not validate parking. I think they’ll validate your valet parking, but obviously you’ll need to tip.

Monaco in Salt Lake City is such a great spot for dinner. The atmosphere is modern but still cozy, with just the right amount of energy without being too loud. I tried the seared scallops and they were cooked so tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The steak frites were also delicious, with a really rich sauce that tied everything together. The service was attentive and the staff made sure everything came out at the right pace. Drinks were spot on, and the cocktail list had some creative options that paired well with the food. Even on a busy weekend night, the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. Between the location, the food quality, and the overall vibe, Monaco really stands out as one of the best places to eat downtown. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I had high expectations but was quite disappointed. We first got the Kohlrabi Caesar as an appetizer. I've never tried or heard of this before; it's pretty interesting, but I liked other salads more. The duck was pretty good, but the skin was a bit too thick and rubbery to me. At first, I thought the puree was mashed potatoes, so I was surprised by the taste. Turned out it was celery root puree. I liked it and wished there would be more of that and the sauce to go with the duck. We also got the ribeye. I was impressed by the presentation. We ordered medium-rare, but it was more on the rare side and a lot more chewy than we'd like it to be. Overall, the food was decent and the plating was amazing, but everything was overpriced. I've had fine dining many times so I understand they're more expensive, but the food quality was not worth the price. There just wasn't any dish that really wowed me and made me want to come back for more. Also, the portions were small and I was surprised to find that the $51 ribeye did not come with any side. For this price, I'd at least expect there to be some vegetables on the side. The rating dropped to a 3-star because of the service. The server didn't seem very friendly. After taking our orders, he also never came once to check on us and asked how we liked the food, so we didn't get the chance to tell him about the undercooked steak. He's probably busy though because he seemed to be the only server taking orders. We waited for a while before we could get the check. I was also disappointed because it was our anniversary, and I chose Bambara because I saw some positive reviews about celebrating special occasions at this place, but they didn't do anything for us, and the overall experience wasn't that great. I'd find a different restaurant next time.

Great atmosphere service! They had a fun Wicked theme brunch happening during our stay. Everything we ate was excellently prepared! Would highly recommend dining here no matter what time of day!

Extremely disappointed... I didn't go there to order appetizers as meals LOL. If I see a cut of meat listed I would think of getting the whole thing, not a couple small pieces. I know it's fine dining but doesn't mean you have to make everything really small which is ridiculous. I left hungry and unsatisfied. Your bison tasted like it had been cooked ahead of time, like a prime rib and then cut the order and I get two little pieces for $52... The scallops were really frustrating. They're super tiny and you get four little ones again for around 50 bucks.. they weren't that flavorful. It sounded great in the description but it just didn't seem to execute very well. We got your blue cheese chips appetizer and those very little of the blue cheese topping and it was all clumped in one little spot so like three chips had the sauce on it and then the rest was just plain potato chips. And the potato truffle accompaniment was overly cooked and super super salty. The desserts are very good, but I'm assuming you guys probably buy those elsewhere? I don't know. And I don't know why you charge $11 for bread. I want to be able to have a really nice meal and enjoy. I'll pay whatever I need to. Don't give me little tiny pieces of food and the call it an entree lolol. Your servers were very nice and attentive. Your menu needs a lot of work. And give me something to eat.

Excellent place to have a breakfast/lunch. I got probably the best burger I’ve had in years. Moist and dripping down my arms. So much flavour. Wow it was great. The fries were show string which aren’t my thing, some nice thick ones would be better. My wife got the grilled cheese which was also good but had too much cinnamon in the spice blend I think. But wow that burger. I almost got another one it was so good. The dinner menu looked excellent too but I didn’t get to try it. Although if I’m ever back in SLC I will.

I was excited to try Bambara while staying at the Kimpton during a recent trip to SLC, but was very disappointed with our experience. Our waitress was lovely and made us feel welcomed, however the food was extremely underwhelming. We started with the charcuterie board, which was actually fantastic, I ordered the bison steak for my main. The steak itself was overcooked and the potatoes were so salty they were inedible. They remade them and the second round was just as inedible. We also ordered the pasta with venison and pork, which was also way over salted. We ended up not eating most of our dinner which at this price point is unacceptable. This is definitely a skip there are far better restaurants to try, especially at this price point.

I want to start by complimenting the excellent service. We had a 7:15 PM reservation but arrived a little early, and since the restaurant wasn’t busy, they kindly seated us right away. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive throughout the evening. We started with the goat cheese chips, which were fantastic and definitely a highlight. For our entrées, we ordered the seared scallops and a 13-ounce steak. The scallops were just okay, and my steak, which I ordered medium, came out a bit overcooked. Even though the food didn’t quite meet our expectations, the great service and relaxing atmosphere made the overall experience enjoyable. I’d still consider coming back to give it another try.

Great little spot. Good flavors for coffee, and their thing is the oatmeal. I recommend getting one full of toppings. Everything is good for food and drinks, but place should probably be cleaned up. All the tables are dirty in the back from previous customers.

Got the lavender honey, which was not that great. Flavor profile wasn't terrible but the lavender flavoring did not taste like regular lavender. No clue why. Texture was relatively creamy but unfortunately there was some icy that made it a lot more unpleasant. $5.5 for a kiddie scoop isn't cheap so it was a bit disappointing.

A cute place on Main Street, vibe is awesome and there’s tables inside to eat. Ice cream is good, not the best you’ll have but it gets the job done. Lots of mix ins! Nestled in the charming Sugar House neighborhood of Southeastern Salt Lake City, The Dodo Restaurant is a vibrant bistro that offers an eclectic menu perfect for brunch or a casual meal. While many flock to savor their renowned Tollhouse Pie, the restaurant also boasts an impressive salad selection featuring fresh ingredients and generous portions.
Im from out of town we stopped in to this gem Friday about 7:45. I was expecting a wait with a full restaurant but thought we would see about the wait. We were promptly seated no wait. Our server (wish I caught her name) was awesome from beginning to end. The food was phenomenal we got the artichoke pie for app delish, tomato soup, salad, ravioli, fruit and crackers (kids menu), banana cream cheesecake and their pride cake! I will definitely be back with friends! The pride cake has a frosting like cheesecake filling im not one that like frosting but I could eat just that as well as their home made whipped cream! Knocked it out the park. We also would have sat outside but it was getting windy. Lots of shade and a great area for seating! And to top it off our waitress saw us taking photos and offered to take one for us and here it is! 10 stars!!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Also the ducks are regulars as well Frank likes to bring a friend i was told.

For me it was just a regular restaurant, nothing exceptional on the menu. The menu was boring but when the server told us about the specials things started to sound more interesting. We ordered from the specials. The food was good, can't complain. The servers were pleasant and the place was clean. No raving review, just a decent place to eat at. My advice would be to jazz up the menu a bit, I hope that's what you're testing with the specials.

I’m not super hyped about Dodo. Took a while to get a seat, but we did have a big group. Food was average, nothing special. Most people in the group made comments about things tasting just ok, so it wasn’t just me. We had tres leches cake and it was really dry. Not a ton of people were in the restaurant but it was surprisingly loud. They do have lots of parking, so that was nice.

We decided to visit Salt Lake for our vacation. After travel the city, we say this location across the street from this popular park, Sugar House Park. The place has a Italian vibe but hip. We sat on the patio. The night was breezy and comfortable. The hummus was great. The pork tenderloin is a staple item on the menu. The Sugarhouse Old Fashion is another excellent choice if you are looking for a cocktail.

This eclectic eatery showcases local art and offers a delightful menu inspired by European cuisine, all crafted with fresh, farm-sourced ingredients. A standout dish is their spinach and fontina soup—an inviting blend of sweet onion, white wine, cream, and fresh spinach that warms the soul no matter the season.
Been here a couple times. Great experience both times. The wait staff was amazing. Food was delicious. Very convenient for going to see a show in the Eccles theater.

I had a relatively good experience here tonight. The service was great. I love servers who are attentive and friendly. I do have complaints, though. First, I was disappointed by the size of the menu items. They only offer four entries...so not a lot to choose from. Second, I ordered lamb chops, and there was just too much fat on the bone. I certainly do not have a problem paying higher prices for quality meat, but for meat, not fat, even though fat helps the meat taste better. Just a little frustrating.

We had dinner at the Tin Angel on March 29, 2025. We ordered the Shepherds Pie and the Niçoise salad. The salad came without the fingerling potatoes, a key ingredient of that salad. After inquiring with the kitchen, the server informed us they had run out of them. She apologized and said she would charge us the “discounted price”. The bill came and did not contain the discount as promised. We were in a rush to get to a show and didn’t have time to have the server adjust the bill, so we left somewhat disappointed. If a dish is to be prepared differently than how it is advertised, the customer should be informed. Although the Shepherds Pie was quite good, the salad without the potatoes wasn’t right. I’d also recommend a higher standard dress code for the staff. Eccles is a nice theater. Old jeans and tee shirt don’t fit the venue.

Loved the Tin Angel when it was on 400 S across from Pioneer Park. Now at the Eccles Theater. Made reservations online for dinner before Wicked. We arrived early and were immediately seated. The food was great, and themed drinks for the show was a fun touch. Loved the convenience of parking once for the evening. (hint: Capital grill offers valet just around the corner.)

The food was delightful. I got the spinach soup. It was very light and had great flavor and texture. The duck tacos were yummy. The steak salad is his favorite dish anywhere. This was the best steak salad he has ever had. Price to quality ratio is great. We left with a $58 tab. We spend that much at other places and have had less satisfying food. The creme brulee tart was yummy.

Needless to say, their presentation is excellent. For a restaurant that calls itself a Cafe the quality of the food was great, their special was a NY Strip that was cooked and seasoned well with good sides and a small portion of Lobster meat! The duck confiet over risotto was also quite good. I would highly recommend the iced black mint tea and their "famous" bread pudding, both were delicious.

It's considered a neighborhood gem where families can enjoy quality food. The restaurant serves soul-warming Australian coffee and trendy staples like grain bowls and avocado toast.
Had maybe one of the best breakfasts of my life here. One of those places where the plates look small but the food packs a huge punch and you leave feeling stuffed. Got the Turkish eggs, my partner got the breakfast sandwich. We also tried the banana bread (must!) and the hash browns (excellent). Our waiter Paolo took excellent care of us. Coffee was delicious. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

We love coming here for brunch when we’re in town! The decor and ambiance is great and their menu is delicious. We especially love their hotcake and the Turkish eggs! I wish they’d give us more of the bread that comes with the Turkish eggs and toast though because it is so delicious but not quite enough portion-wise. There is always a wait so plan accordingly and the service can be slow so keep that in mind as well.

The bread was fresh! the eggs were exactly how I wanted them! and the tomato kasundi was the icing on top! The place has such an amazing vibe and the workers are so friendly and nice! I really enjoyed Five 5eeds. They had a ton of options for gluten free dining, and the flavors were lovely. Walk past the non-descript strip mall facade into an open and quaint bustling atmosphere that hits you with a friendly welcome then finishes you off with some amazing culinary concoctions that will delight the palate and test the storage capacity on your phone. 🤣 The Turkish egg dishes of either the Shakshouka (add the chorizo) or the Cilbir are a must but anything on the menu will do. Enter, Order, Enjoy!

Great ambiance and innovative menu, nice looking dishes too. Pulled Pork Benedicts? Sure, why not. That's what I had and it was good, of course, the pulled pork takes over the eggs and hollandaise, but it was still yummy. My wife really enjoyed the Avocado Toast, she had a bunch of those during our trip, and I think it was her top 2. Good service too.

I really love five5eeds and have been several times, I come any time I’m in Park City. My experience today was subpar. I had a tumeric latte, breakfast sandwich and ordered the superfood bowl to go for a later meal. The turmeric latte is fine. The breakfast sandwich I have had before, and it is good, although I ask for extra crispy bacon, and today’s was not, so I couldn’t eat most of it. My biggest issue though comes with the bowl I got to go. I did not realize until I got to my Airbnb (30 min away), that it is missing the charred corn, jalapeños, wild rice, and toasted sunflower & pumpkin seeds. This is nearly half the ingredients!! It is basically faro, dried fruit and beet dip. It was near their closing time so my guess is they were rushing, but it did not have me feeling like a valued customer. I know they can do better, and I am disappointed by the experience today.

Whiskey Street Cocktails & Dining is a vintage-chic lounge and eatery located on Main Street in Salt Lake City. The bar features a wide selection of whiskeys displayed on dark wood shelves, some of which are locked away in display cabinets due to their high value. The ambiance combines Western saloon vibes with a 21st-century urban oasis feel.
We had a gift card to Whiskey Street, so we decided to stop in for dinner. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and we were seated right away. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer, which was honestly the highlight of the meal, absolutely delicious. For our entrees, we ordered the poutine and the jerk chicken, and both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive, and overall, the experience was great!

Solid food good drinks friendly staff. Our waitress was very attentive even though the place was packed. Stopped in for a business dinner all the appetizers were amazing I recommend the deviled eggs and brussel sprouts. For dinner I had the Cuban sandwich and fries very good I'll be back to try other items off the menu.

We were there for lunch, so maybe an unfair way to judge, but I like this small bar/restaurant. They have a well-stocked bar, a number of their own craft cocktail creations, plus they can make all the classics. I had the party melt, which came with a fresh dressed salad of arugula. The patty melt itself was one of the better renditions of this classic sandwich. It was topped with perfectly caramelized onions, gruyere cheese, and Russian dressing really great bread. The way u beef patty was cooked exactly right, and was tender and juicy. The salmon was perfectly cooked and declared sensational. The service was excellent. Great cocktails, great bar food and full meals.; what more can you ask for.

The ambiance was relaxed and cozy. Although the food was a bit salty and served cold, the presentation and the overall experience was enjoyable. They offer a large selection of dry wines, but unfortunately, there are no options in the semi-sweet to sweet range. However, there is a full bar, so cocktails are available as an alternative. The prices were fair, considering the upscale nature of the restaurant. The service was excellent; we were seated promptly, and the staff provided menu suggestions based on our preferences.

Delicious food and excellent service. Photos are of Rosemary Lamb Chops, Peanut Butter S’more, and an Espresso Martini. Late July 2025. I hope and pray for a great rebuild as this was a fantastic restaurant.

Easy late night place! Loved the fried pickles and the wedge salad, thought the grilled cheese, burger and fries were also good. Salad was the standout for me for sure.

Google said this place had pot roast, so I came to try it and a few other things. Guess what .. NO POT ROAST!!!!The door staff is rude however I was seated right away and the atmosphere is cozy but loud. Our waiter was nice. The wings are average, the brussel where not bad but a lil dry since they didn't serve pot roast I got meatloaf initiate is disgusting. Talk about a soggy disgusting blob. It was like somebody took a can of Fancy feast cat food and turn it upside down on a bed of mashed potatoes. 🤮 I paid $125, 1 beer, 2 apps and 2 entrees. I regret every penny except for the $8 beer, that apricot hefe was on point!!!

Eggs in the City is a diner type restaurant with an eclectic interior loaded with local art. The place is popular for its creative and unique breakfasts that are also great for brunch. There's always a long line at this spot so get there early!
Oh my goodness I cannot rave about this place more! I arrived 10 minutes prior to opening as I was waiting for a friend. As I sat there, I watched the parking lot fill up within minutes of opening! Upon entering, the staff was more than welcoming. Nearly all the tables were full and they were apologetic for not having one immediately available. We told them no worries and it wasn’t a problem for us to wait. We only waited, maybe five minutes, but during that time three different employees came to let us know it will only take a few more minutes and updated us as to the table availability. As we were seated we noticed there were already menus and water waiting for us. The menu is vast, and a bit overwhelming because there were too many different, and delicious, options to choose from! Torn between the crepes and a traditional breakfast, we settled for both! The food arrived quickly, and boy, was AMAZING! I can’t stop thinking about the crepes and will be back soon!

Absolutely enthralled with the atmosphere, kindness of all staff, delicious food, and location! I have a gluten and dairy sensitivity, which makes eating out difficult in finding solid options. The servers were able to help figure out substitutions, which was easier than ever with their sauces being gluten free and still having dairy free ones as well. My niece and I will be coming back for sure and recommending highly.

We went to breakfast for my birthday. The food is always delicious! The Chicken and Waffles are amazing! So flavorful! Get here early, they fill up fast!

The food and service were good. However, it was too noisy for me. I think the prices are really good for the amount of food they serve! So if you’re hungry and want something tasty with some Latin flavor, this is your place.

The food was very good. We had the Macho Style, Huevos Ranchos and Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. The black beans were especially good. Depending upon how you like your potatoes done you may like them a little crispier than what we received.

Very nice place. Food all looked really good. I got the chicken and waffles. It ended up being one of the better chicken and waffles that I have had. They are dog friendly on their patio, as long as the dog behaves. Staff were very friendly. I have no negative notes. Wait time was long, but that's not their fault. It was a weekend, and the place is popular. I will be coming back.

I had been to the old location but not this new one. So, it's been long enough that I can't even remember the food or menu from before. Sunday brunch was packed and our wait was about 45 minutes. Make sure to get on the wait list ahead of time to cut your in-person wait down. The four in our group had 2 three-item create your own breakfast, the Give Up, and Huevos Rancheros. The give up was... GIGANTIC. For $21 it better be, but it could have fed our whole table. If you've given up on your wasterline, the Give Up is your dish. I had the Huevos Rancheros. As a vegetarian, I was excited this ffit my restrictions since it does not at most places. It. Was. Amazing. Cannot recommend enough. There were plenty of vegetarian options too as meats could be replaced by avocado. The only negative I have to say about the place is because it was so busy service was not great. Ordering and getting the food was good, additional requests meant waiting and flagging ANYONE down because the server didn't come back until she brought the check. Getting a to-go box took longer than the food did. Again, it was busy Sunday brunch, so this minor inconvenience was still worth it.

Super enjoyable breakfast visit with both adults and kids. They were quite busy, so there was a 35-minute wait, but the hostess was incredibly sweet and a joy to be around. I ordered the three eggs benedict flight (not pictured because I got a little excited and was a bit hungry 🙂), which included a traditional benedict, a Reuben eggs benedict, and a crab cake eggs benedict. While I generally love Reuben dishes, this one fell a bit flat on flavor, and the shaved pastrami had a dry, off-putting texture. The Hollandaise sauce, however, was excellent, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The crab cake benedict was definitely the star of the show, but the traditional benedict was also very good. I'd give the flight an 8.5 out of 10. The cinnamon swirl pancake was also excellent. The cinnamon flavor was nice, and the frosting was a perfect touch. A creamy syrup to go with it would have made it even better. I'd rate it 9.5/10. My kids all enjoyed their eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes. My son also ordered the Parisian crepes and devoured them. It's great that they have a reasonably priced kids' menu and a fun game where the kids get a little prize candy at the end of the meal.

Vertical Diner is a lively bar and eatery that offers a seasonal vegetarian menu along with craft cocktails in a casual setting. The diner's all plant-based menu features both traditional and unconventional diner dishes, such as the popular Dude Cakes and Macaroni and Cheese. Their nut-free cheese sauce sets them apart from other dairy-free alternatives. The quirky and festive atmosphere of Vertical Diner adds to the fun of enjoying their exceptional organic offerings, including vegan "wings" and "chicken sandwiches."
The Tofu Benedict is INCREDIBLE! The taste and texture of it is just perfect. The tempeh bacon was so sweet and had such a good texture. I wish I could have ordered two of these!!!! We had breakfast/brunch twice here, and also got takeout to bring on the plane back home. We tried The Mountain, The Avalanche, and got the Breaded Chikun Sandwich and Barbecue Tigers to go. Everything was fantastic and super delicious! Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Had a great experience at Vertical Diner!

An absolute dream to dine here for dinner and breakfast while passing through. This is hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had. The cheese sauce and gravy were exquisite. I have to admit, as someone who isn't vegan, I wasn't sure what to expect when my friends suggested we go to Vertical Diner for dinner. I was mostly just tagging along, but I was immediately struck by the incredible atmosphere as soon as I walked in. The place has such a cool, retro-diner vibe, and the art is amazing. The detailed mosaics and colorful murals on the walls are fantastic and create a fun, welcoming environment that you can feel the moment you step inside. The positive experience just kept getting better. I honestly can't even remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it was absolutely delicious. I was genuinely surprised by how flavorful and satisfying everything was, and it completely changed my perspective on what vegan food can be. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Everyone working there was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They must treat their employees well, because the positive energy was infectious and made the whole meal that much more enjoyable. Overall, my visit was an unexpectedly great experience from start to finish. For a non-vegan who was just going along with the group, I was completely won over. Vertical Diner is more than just a restaurant; it's a whole vibe. Between the incredible art, the surprisingly tasty food, and the absolutely stellar service from a happy crew, I would recommend this place to anyone, vegan or not. I'll definitely be back.

Satisfied our hankering for a biscuit and gravy breakfast, the gravy was delicious. Particularly loved the fried Mac and cheese bites with that mustardy dipping sauce as well as the flavorful and non greasy tofu scramble. Peanut butter milkshake was also quite a treat, and enough to share.

It was not our first time here, but this time I decidedto leave a review. We ordered 4 dishes and all of them were so good. We had fries on the side it was delicious too. We sat on the patio - it was nice and quiet.

First off I want to make it clean I am not a Vegan and wanted to try an all vegan restaurant for breakfast. I’m sure their food is much better for vegans the key demographic they cater to. Service was fantastic everyone was very friendly and talkative. The overall vibe felt great. So I was told their biscuits & gravy are a hit so I got them plus a basic breakfast dish including potatoes and what was obviously now eggs or sausage. The biscuits & gravy were indeed delicious full flavor and served hot. The potatoes were great and that’s where I was done. I tried the makeshift eggs and didn’t like the taste and tried their tofu sausage patty and didn’t like the taste. The flavoring was different and I just couldn’t adapt. I assume those who are into that kind of food would enjoy it much more and are used to the particular flavor. I’ll continue to enjoy my bacon and eggs the way I like them but if I ever go vegan this place will be a weekly meal. 🫡 Respectfully

So many options (all vegan!), it was hard to choose. The non- vegans with me said several times that they would be going back. I had the La Mesa, which continued to be fabulously delicious to the last bite. (I had them trade the soyrizo for sautéed mushrooms). Also loved the Mac & Cheese, the biscuits (gluten free) and gravy, the curry and the tiramisu. The entire menu is available all day. Highly recommended.

Provisions in Millcreek, near the Cottonwood resorts in Salt Lake City, offers locally sourced modern American cuisine for dinner and Sunday brunch. The restaurant surprises visitors with its quality, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. For those looking to minimize drive time, Provisions provides three meal packages for pick-up with options like turkey, prime rib, and salmon along with sides and house-made pie.
The food is freshly curated and locally sourced. The ingredients are thoughtful and delicious. The staff goes above and beyond. Sydney was a fabulous hostess. She was able to accommodate us on a very busy Sunday. Yum. We will be back for sure.

Had a nice weekend brunch here for 5. Made a reservation. It’s a better menu for sweet than for savory. I had the Provisions Breakfast plate, nothing especially memorable. The beignets didn’t stick out for me as delicious/ worth it. I like the decor, wallpaper, and cups — makes for a colorful farm table vibe.

We had one of the best meals we’ve had in Salt Lake City at Provisions. Even though we weren’t super hungry, we shared two appetizers and two entrees between four people, and every single dish blew us away. We ordered the fresh crispy duck rolls, roasted cauliflower, branzino fillet, and fried chicken. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully composed, and executed with such skill. Whoever is behind these dishes is an absolute culinary genius. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light. Nothing felt heavy or overdone, just pure, vibrant, creative cooking. We kept saying how excited we are to come back and try more. Provisions is truly a gem and easily one of the best dining experiences in the city.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Provisions and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the beginning, Addie made the contracting process so easy — she was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful with all of our questions. The RFP and booking process was seamless, and we were able to reserve a private room that fit our group of 19 comfortably. The staff and service were amazing — friendly, attentive, and so much fun to work with! The charcuterie appetizers were a huge hit, and both the cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. We did a plated dinner with options for pork tenderloin, chicken, or pasta, and every single guest raved about their meal. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the entire experience was stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to kick off our wedding weekend. Highly recommend Provisions for dinner or hosting your next private event!

I was a server for 15 years, so I’m not typically one to leave bad reviews, but I really feel like I need to give others a heads up because this place has so much prestige. We went at 2pm on a Sunday, I could tell they had gotten absolutely thrashed for brunch, the place was disheveled as was our waiter. He starts out incoherently mumbling it had been a long day then starts listing all of the things they were out of, which included beignets, which we had a coupon for. He said he’d get us the ricotta pancakes instead. We order the avocado toast, side of bacon and Benedict. He doesn’t write it down, but comes back two times to ask us what we ordered, and I reaffirm he got the side of bacon, but he says he put in the American Breakfast instead of the Benedict, but no worries he would fix it. The pancakes come out, they look like they were slopped on the plate, there’s char on the top of them from the griddle, they taste like something has gone bad, as does the lemon sauce, they were not cooked in the center. He brings out the benny and avocado toast. Luke warm, palatable but barely, the hard boiled eggs taste old, the avocado has turned brown, and no side of bacon. He brings the check, the pancakes are still on there and the American Breakfast that we didn’t order. Guys I know brunch service is a beast, but if you’re going to charge these prices, take a little pride in what you do and what you put on a plate or don’t serve it at all. Won’t be back don’t want another bad meal and upset stomach. Such a shame because we live in the neighborhood, and might’ve wanted to try for dinner. Very disappointing

This was my first time at this establishment, as I am from out of town. I must say I was hesitant at first to order the elk because I have never had it before. Boy let me tell you how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. And those steamed buns, were so delectable. The service that we got from Joseph was impeccable as well. He was so intuitive to everything we needed. The next time I’m in town, I will definitely becoming back. Kudos

Greek restaurant
The Other Place Restaurant is a popular family-friendly Greek eatery known for its generous portions of breakfast and comfort food. The dinner platters offer a choice of moussaka, pastichio, or dolmathes along with soup, salad, potato, vegetable, bread, and dessert. Customers often line up for tables or to pick up to-go orders due to the restaurant's organized chaos.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What can I say about The Other Place… it’s a true staple in the downtown area. This place has been around as long as I can remember, and it’s part of so many of my favorite memories—bringing my mom and family here for a quick bite or a strong, delicious Greek coffee. The environment is always warm and comfortable, the staff is consistently friendly, and the food is classic comfort with that authentic Greek flair. It’s one of those timeless spots that feels just as welcoming today as it did years ago. A must-visit if you want great food and a genuine local experience!

Stopped by for a quick dinner on a Saturday night with my husband and daughter. The menu is very broad and the portion sizes are massive. But honestly, not a good place for non adventurous kids. My daughter nibbled at the Caesar salad and one of the pasta dishes. The entrees come with various sides and desserts and it wasn't really clear what came with what. Our server was friendly. But the food was just okay... probably won't be back!

A place for newbies and regulars who have been coming for decades. Excellent, reliable Greek food, satisfying burgers, and American plates. The wait staff treat you like family. A great place to gather with friends for any reason. There’s something for everyone here especially kids. Lots of dedicated free parking north in back of the restaurant. Super busy on the weekends but fast turnover.

This place will take you back in time. Very clean and very nicely taken care of restaurant with lovely “dated” charm. I highly recommend. Staff genuinely friendly, food predictably excellent, prices favorable and portions massive. They offer Greek cuisine and it’s very good …and feels homey. No wonder so many people come back to this place as regulars!! Please don’t change, sometimes “staying as is” is the best.

I used to live just around the corner from this restaurant and, oddly enough, never stopped in—until a friend finally brought me here for dinner one evening. We had a full meal, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Turns out, many of my friends were regulars and seemed to know everyone who worked there. The atmosphere was warm, the service familiar, and the food? Pure comfort on a plate.

We stopped in for breakfast this morning, the restaurant is older, definitely dates but was fulla dnhad a lot of "regulars" which was nice to see. We ordered the Greek breakfast and the Greek omelette, both were delicious!! One was ordered with pancakes and the other with sourdough toast. Would order both again. Our coffee was always full as well as our water! We will definitely return. Their lunch menu looks amazing as well, hope to try it soon!

The last two reviews I wrote before this one (Gourmandise and Adelaide) were mostly about the terrible service. I'm very pleased that the trend did not continue. Our service was above bar. Marqui was on the stick. The whole staff was. The ticket time was acceptable. I wanted something simple so I got the Gyro Meat Breakfast. The portion was great, I'm still snacking on it. The GF's Lamb Chops were as tasty as the plate was well prepared and presented. If I had any criticism, it would be that my hot chocolate was teeny-tiny. I finished that in about four slurps. There should be an adult size available. Other than that, we had a great meal.

Cafe
Finn's Cafe is a beloved family-owned restaurant that has been serving delectable Scandinavian-influenced American dishes for breakfast and lunch since 1952. Recently relocated to a newly renovated building in the Sugarhouse area, the cafe exudes warmth with its wooden floors, earthy tones, and a spacious outdoor patio for alfresco dining during summer.
During our visit, we ordered the Eggs Benedict Royal, the Salt Lake City omelet, and a grilled cheese sandwich for my child. The Eggs Benedict Royal was absolutely delicious — perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and a flavorful combination of ingredients made it the highlight of the meal. The Salt Lake City omelet was decent, though a bit on the dry side, so it didn’t stand out as much. The grilled cheese was a hit with my kid, and it came with a side of fresh fruit, which was a nice touch and made the meal feel a bit healthier. The service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which added a lot to the overall experience. We chose to sit outside, and the outdoor seating area was wonderful. There was plenty of shade from the surrounding trees, keeping things cool and comfortable even in the midday sun. It created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. Parking could be a bit limited depending on the time of day, but we noticed there’s some off-street parking available, which helps alleviate the issue. Overall, it was a great spot for a casual meal with family. Tasty food, great service, and a lovely outdoor dining experience make this place worth a visit. I’d definitely return to try more from their menu.

Such a cute Scandinavian spot with a beautiful indoor and outdoor ambience — the space itself is unique and charming. We stopped in for brunch and will definitely be back to try lunch. My partner said the waffles were good but nothing out of the ordinary, while I absolutely loved the smoked salmon Benedict — probably the best I’ve ever had with smoked salmon!

Finn’s is a charming breakfast spot that we couldn’t believe wasn’t busier on a Saturday morning! No wait for a table, and the service was excellent. The patio is lovely and shaded, and the inside of the diner has a fun. almost retro vibe. We got the french toast and the waffles and both were yummy. Food overall is a bit overpriced, but generally on par with other breakfast places in SLC, and Finn’s is unique and charming enough to make it well worth a stop.

Love coming here for a casual breakfast/brunch. Service is quick and the patio is cozy. The interior is a traditional Scandinavian design. We always get the lingonberry waffles and eggs benedict—portions are on the smaller size but food tastes high quality so it’s understandable! Coffee & juices are also great, & prices are fair!

Amazing experience! Servers were kind and took care of us in a timely manner. My friend got a Norwegian waffle with a deep fried chicken (so yummy) and I got the Pyttipanna with the French bread. Fantastic taste!! After sitting for a while the wife of the owner came and took our plates. She said that her husband was one of the first to sell sourdough in Salt Lake! I wish I would’ve gotten some! She was so lovely and had amazing energy. Would go again! Good prices for their food too!!

Wow. This place was incredible. I ordered the havarti grilled cheese and vegetable soup with Norwegian meatballs, plus a slice of marzipan cake to go. The meatballs in the soup were very similar to my Norwegian grandmothers and the broth was so flavorful. The portion sizes were great, big enough to satisfy but not so big you left over full. I ate the cake later in the day. It came with strawberries and whipped cream. The cake didn't really need them but it def brought this already amazing cake to the next level. My server was polite and attentive.
Riana S — Google review
I’m not sure why so many good reviews. It took awhile to get seated, and longer to get served. Mediocre food from quality and quantity. The taste wasn’t any great either. Looks like they skimp out on food and charge a premium for no reason. I got the chicken and waffle, and my chicken looked like a filet of fish. The server gave me a small discount for the lack of food and taste. Go to park city cafe for real food and service.
A-aron — Google review
Seat yourself when we walked in. Waitress was friendly and personable. We ordered Finn’s Green drink - cucumber, kale, spinach, and celery with lemon wedge. Cucumber- forward. Very light and refreshing. Ordered the fried chicken with asparagus and potatoes. Chicken was crunchy and tender inside. Also had the reuben. Good amount of slice pastrami with a heap of sauerkraut and ample swiss cheese. Not overly dressed. Good flavor. Only down side was the sandwich bottom half was wet, which made eating a bit difficult. May have been sauerkraut juice. Finished with marzipan cake. Generous portion of layered, scratch-made vanilla cake with strawberry preserves, wrapped in a luscious layer of marzipan. Topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberry. Delish! Note to management, it’s great that the tables are cleared off quickly, but it’s just as important that tables get wiped down. The wiping down of all the tables that were cleared while there did not happen.

What a fun evening at the Chef’s Counter! Was nice to chat with the chef and watch the magic happen in the kitchen. Friendly staff and delicious food! Lamb ribs, fried cheese and artichoke, branzino fish was wonderful. Loved the plate sharing concept. Will return!

We celebrated birthday here. Particularly liked their sea food plates. Grilled octopus and crab cake are very good. Also liked their seasonal special main courses of seafood with a white wine broth (a bit salty) and spinach dumplings. Appetizers wise, i liked Tyropita. The server seems not as friendly though...

A whole new experience! I loved it. It's so different in a good way. If you've never had Greek food dont be afraid to try it and definitely ask, that's what I did and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. I look forward to going back. I heard their Sunday brunch was really good.

Greek-inspired Tapas and a Surprise Starring Role by the Sun Manoli’s is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve taken a quick trip to the Mediterranean—without leaving Salt Lake. The building itself is stunning, and the interior matches: bright, white, clean lines, and when the light’s just right, it’s like dining inside a dreamy Instagram filter. (When the light’s not just right, well… we’ll get to that.) We had a reservation (highly recommend for a Wednesday—it was hopping), and were seated right away. The vibe was lively but not chaotic, with a beautiful crowd and an equally beautiful menu. We kicked things off with a Bombay Sapphire martini for me and a Syrah for my other half. His wine was so good, he ended up ordering a second—always a good sign. We shared a round of small plates, including: • Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves—classic and solid) • Krytharaki (orzo with a satisfying bite) • Paidakia (Greek riblets—10/10, absolutely incredible) • Keftedes (meatballs in a cinnamon tomato sauce—spiced just right) • Pita and Olives (totally crave-worthy) Everything came out looking like it belonged in a food magazine and tasted even better. The riblets were tender and flavorful, and the meatballs had this cozy, unexpected spice that made them stand out. Truly, a fantastic lineup. Our server was kind and attentive—she made us feel welcome, even while clearly working the sunset dinner rush and managing several sizable tables like a pro. Now, about that sunset. We were sat at a two-top against the wall with a giant mirror. Lovely in theory—until the sun began to set, hit the mirror, and bounced a laser beam of light directly into my eyes. Thankfully, I had sunglasses. My partner had to bob and weave to stay in my shadow so the sun wouldn’t glare at him. But it made for great conversation as we avoided it the light. Manoli’s delivers a gorgeous space, warm service, and absolutely delicious food. Just beware of the spotlight-stealing sun near sunset. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve dined at Manoli’s several times. The food is always very good. I love the variety on the menu; they have great vegetarian selections and the options change from time to time. The Saganaki is always a hit and the salads are a great size. I had the Branzino recently and it was delicious as well. It is a great option for a date night or a dinner with friends because the small plates are all so fun to share. If I had to critique, I would like to see a more robust desert menu. The ice cream flavor is constantly changing and sometimes I love it; sometimes I hate it. The donuts are pretty unremarkable.

Food quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Mouthwatering, deliciousness. I wouldn’t have changed a thing for my first visit to Manoli’s! Everything was fantastic from the moment I walked in, to the time I sat down at the Chef’s Table, to the time I finished my meal. The staff was very nice and welcoming, the atmosphere felt like a fine dining establishment, but with reasonable pricing. The chefs were so amazing to watch and see how quickly they move through the kitchen and how fast paced everything happens in the background. We watched all of our food get prepared, plated and served before our eyes and it’s definitely not something you see everyday. Everything we had was delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu!

Oh My God. Thanks God, we found this place. I’m a Greek so I believe I can feel what taste should be. We went there in a weekday with my partner and one of our friend. The ambience, atmosphere is so elegant. I feel that classy restaurant feeling on the spot. They are super kind, and helped you to sit immediately, thanks God there wasn’t a waitlist. The busser lady got us water very fast, and server gave us enough time to see menu. When she came back, she introduced us the menu and Greek meze concept - my friend didn’t know. Our server’s name, I believe, was Ricky. She was an amazing person. Represented restaurant in the best way, amazing friendly attitude and helping intentions. All the food was amazing, dolmades - grape leaves - were amazing. I would personally prefer more sour, but that’s still very original Greek taste. My partner got lavraki and I can clearly say their fish is really great. Taste good, very fresh, and cooked exactly great! I also got Psomi, grilled Greek pita breads.. God, honestly, I asked for two times.. Maybe one of the best pita breads I’ve ever tasted in United States. I don’t know which flour and mix they use or where they cook but that’s the most amazing one. Very honest. Olives are good, they could also have some black olives, too. It’s upset that they don’t have only-beef keftedes. I expected variability on that one, if we consider different dietary choices. And my grandmother was doing beef only keftedes so I know that’s possible. And lamb burger exactly gives you what it promise! Really good taste. Their alcoholic cocktails are also amazing - cannot exactly remember the name of my drink but that’s was great, so I asked twice. Trust Ricky’s suggestions on that one. So overall, this restaurant is probably one of the best Greek restaurants in United States. Definitely will come back! Thank you guys, amazingly great job.

American restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Table X is a top dining spot in Salt Lake City, offering creative New American cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is housed in a rustic converted factory and features a stunning cathedral-ceiling setting with tall black leather booths. The menu, crafted by esteemed chefs, offers five- and seven-course tasting options that change frequently based on seasonal ingredients.
This was my first experience with a tasting menu and it was phenomenal. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The wine pairing for each enhanced the dish to a new level. The highlights for me were the mushrooms, beef, and lemon coconut curd. That said, there was not a bad dish. We sat at the chef's counter and it was really interesting to watch the chef's as the prepared our food. Service was also prompt and engaging. I will absolutely be coming back!

Overall, our party of four agrees. For Utah, this is pretty good. A fixed menu of either 5 or 7 courses with a vegetarian menu option. The food was good. No spectacular. We are probably spoiled from our adventures at Michelin star places where the food is better and the pacing is better. Some of us thought the entrees were too salty. The mushrooms were salty while the hummus was bland. The tastes were unique. I am still not sure if I liked the mushroom shrub drink. It was paired with the mushrooms and I think it tasted okay until I ate the mushrooms. Then it was a bit icky. Then it started to taste okay again. It was different for sure. The ladies thought the portions were perfect. The gentlemen thought they were a bit small. A delightful surprise at the end of the meal were chocolate chip cookies. Very tasty. The yogurt dessert was greatly appreciated and the star of the meal was the pork. This is good enough that we will go back. The menu changes frequently and we want to try more, just to see if it improves. The overall pacing was a bit slow. Too much time between tastings. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and the right level of pretense when describing the drink and wine pairings. One of our party hates those descriptions and another loves them. Made for a fun, delightful evening.

The wait staff was amazing. Attentative, prompt and friendly. The food was tasty. The mushroom course was my favorite. We also enjoyed the non alcoholic drink pairing. However, please be just a little faster between courses. Love your food but hate waiting so long between courses. Oh. The bread and cultured butter were divine.

I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was amazing, so unique and different than what I’ve had elsewhere. In addition, it was packed full of flavor and variety. I had the 7 course meal, paired with the non-alcoholic drinks, and I loved the whole experience. The drinks paired well with the meals, and I was stuffed by the end of the night. The kitchen recognized I was celebrating 5 years of being an entrepreneur and made a special extra dessert at the end for my friends and I to share. It was thoughtful and kind. I would love to come again and experience their continual rotating menu! It was inspiring to taste and see how the kitchen was ran, made me want to get more creative in my own kitchen! I’ve recommended this restaurant to several other people, and plan to come back again in the future!

I’m going to start with the bad, because it was the most memorable aspect of this dinner. When our first course “salad” came out, it immediately reminded me of the SpongeBob episode where they tried to make the Krusty Krab fancy by offering a “salaad”. I was looking forward to the steak they had as a main course on their online menu, but was instead met with “dehydrated, rehydrated green beans” and a pork meatball. The recession must be bad, because after the first bite all I could hear was planes overhead like they had foraged this from WW2 war rations. Very disappointing. The pasta course was also…ehh. The pacing was also off, sometimes our next course came out while we still had the previous, and the next we’d be waiting quite a while that I even finished my wine before it came out. So for the good, the bread was amazing, and the trout course was so good I would come back and order it again. The wine pairing, albeit expensive, was good and matched very well with each course. It was an experience, and one I probably won’t be participating in again, but good friends combined with the above made for a very memorable experience.

Absolutely incredible experience at TableX tonight. Our sever, Austin, was phenomenal. The rest of the staff was also so great and attentive. We got the 7 course menu with the mocktail pairing to celebrate my birthday. To be honest it's hard to pick a favorite because each dish was so excellent and they all married together so well. Love that they use seasonal and local ingredients, even some from their own garden! This will be a new regular spot so that we can hit all the seasonal differences. The spase is stunning. The food matches the ambiance. You're missing out if you don't check this place out!

I rarely go out and treat myself, so when I finally decide it's time, I make sure to pick places that I can indulge, immerse, and be wowed! I specifically searched table X out for the experience, but I didn't realize what i was truly walking into. From the greeting at the front door to the greeting from my fabulous server Mickey, sitting next to the open kitchen,I was witnessing the beginning of a perfectly orchestrated symphony of the culinary arts. I chose a seven course tasting with no regrets, as well as the pairings of wine and spirit. Mickey explained each well constructed dish and the notes of my pairings with the finesse of a seasoned sommelier. The chefs in the kitchen were hyper focused on their creations which created a sort of hum of worker bees it was beautiful to watch. Each ingredient perfectly curated. The simplicity was brilliant. The starter to awaken the taste buds was an herbed green humus amuse bouche with refreshing tangy onion. I was given a slice of their in-house made sour dough bread and cultured butter. Next Spring fennel salad with slivers of mimolette cheese,(my favorite cheese but it can be too rich, but in small delicate shavings it is easy to appreciate),and hazel nut and grapefruit dressing paired with "Gigis garden" wine. Table X used simple yet the best ingredients turning morning comfort food to a masterpiece with their Intermountain gourmet mushrooms on rice Congee. I literally threw my head back into the padded booth , the food is this good.(had sausage rose pairing) The poached Norwegian trout with local sunchoke was butter in my mouth.(Li Qui do Bianco) The middle course was nothing short of flavor, the carrot lumache pasta with lamb shoulder, and stinging nettle cream.(Two brothers wine) This is where the 5 course stops and the 7 course continues with what sounds simple ,steak and potatoes, but there was nothing simple about the UT 47 heritage Angus beef with a light crust cooked perfect medium rare, with pureed goat cheese potatoes, otherwise known to the French, "Pommes Aligoat". Subtle bacon and garlic notes from the just and charred spring garlic.(Spanish red) I am not a desert person but I had to bend when I saw the coconut lemon curd nestled in toasted flaxseed, walnut, and candied ginger. But I was completely full by the time the carrot cake came because I polished every morsel off of every plate, but I ate it at home and I may reconsider including dessert back into my diet. I apologize for the longest review but I do not think it is long enough After dinner, Mickey, my guide through this epic journey, took me outside to unveil Table X's garden and beehives. Table X uses their seasonal harvest from this garden and hives to inspire their creations and everything else is carefully sourced. This is definitely an experience that is not a casual just go out to eat. Come to this place with a hunger, and to experience something unique and that you will never forget

Love the atmosphere and customer service but most of all the food! You have a choice of eating in or dining g out. And while you wait they have the cutest boutique store next door the pink flamingo . Our waiter Cody was fantastic… p.s if you wanna treat him, he loves their lemon bars!

Super awesome brunch spot! High quality ingredients. They do a ton of vegetarian and vegan stuff, which isn’t my thing. All the other stuff is great though! I got the biscuits and gravy with sausage. The biscuits were very herby and unique and the gravy was also unique with the pepper and how creamy it was. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and the potatoes are awesome!! We also got a veggie breakfast sandwich which is super tasty!

Nestled in the Salt Lake Valley, Beaumont Bakery & Cafe is a go-to spot for consistently delicious breakfast options. Whether you're dining in or using their convenient drive-thru, the photogenic bakery offers satisfying dishes like avocado toast with roasted corn and cotija cheese, as well as fluffy eggs wrapped in tortillas or nestled within buttery croissants. The comfortable atmosphere and fresh food have made it a staple of the local food scene.
Loved this place! We went for brunch on a weekend, so there was a bit of a wait (~25 mins), but it was great because we bought some pastries and snacked on them in the meantime. The almond croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The food was good. I got the breakfast burrito and thought it was alright, not great, but my wife got a salad that I ate half of haha, and it was super tasty. This is a great place for large parties or a fun weekend brunch!

Disappointed with how food allergies are now handled — longtime customer let down I’ve been a loyal customer for awhile now, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly upsetting. Due to my food allergies, I have called ahead to confirm they could substitute pancake and batter for the waffle in the chicken & waffles dish and been in person, each time they were okay with this, it is why I come to their restaurant as it is really yummy. With placing the order again the other day they assured me they could. Since they now require orders to be placed in person, my grandmother went for me this time but we make a 40min round trip drive for placing an order, we even confirmed everything with them, and even put me on the phone to double-check. Unfortunately, when I got home, the waffle was made with the original batter—which contains several ingredients I’m anaphylactic to. Thankfully, I caught it before eating. But since they closed right after, we couldn’t go back, and I was without dinner as I couldn't eat the meal. We returned the next day expecting a simple fix or refund—something they’ve done in the past without issue. Instead, the manager (Bella) refused to remake the meal or issue a refund, and informed me they no longer accommodate food allergies. She also told me not to order that dish again. I tried ordering something else (a hot honey sandwich) and the pancakes to recreate the chicken and waffles to replace the previous order but it had strawberries—another allergy I had specifically mentioned with having the fruit on the side. Yet again, the meal was incorrect and unsafe. My grandmother was charged for it, and still no refund was given for the previous order. What used to be a place that treated allergy concerns with care and respect has clearly changed. There’s no way to leave a voicemail because the inbox is full, and calls usually go to the bakery instead of the restaurant. This situation was frustrating, stressful, and frankly disappointing—especially as someone with dietary restrictions who has to rely on clear communication and follow-through. It’s heartbreaking to be told that because of something I can’t control—my food allergies—I just can’t eat here anymore. I’ve never had this kind of experience here until recently, and I hope management reconsiders how they handle allergy accommodations moving forward, as I’ve had such kind and understanding experiences prior even when there was a mistake or two, the food has always been really yummy and the staff prior was always nice. I did not feel that this time talking with their manager Bella. We also only wanted the fruit that came with the meal not an extra side of it just it out on the side no strawberries due to allergy.

Yesterday I went for brunch with my sister-in-law, and as always, the atmosphere in this place was beautiful and the flavors were truly amazing. Overall, it was a great experience; however, I have to point out one detail that didn’t quite match the quality of the food: the presentation. For example, I was served half an avocado 🥑 simply cut without much care, which felt a bit out of place. I believe a smaller, more delicate plate with a refined presentation would better reflect the level of flavor they offer. Other than that, everything was excellent.

We've visited Beaumont Bakery in the past and returned for a rendezvous birthday lunch as planned. Menu Selections 5 stars Noise Level 3 - with so many guests, dining-chatting, the restaurant can be loud with white noise background, you've to speak up a notch to be heard to have a conversation; it's an inviting setting, environment and atmosphere Food 5 Service 4 Atmosphere 5 Setting 5 Menu Prices 4-5 stars like many restaurants, the prices on the menu are comparable to other restaurants, $15 -$18 and up, depending on what you order. As soon as we walked in, Beaumont was filled with bodies and heads of guests, employees, and servers. We arrived at 12:20pm, the gal took my name/phone number, I received a text within 20-25 minutes that our table is ready; to check in to be seated. Once we checked in, a 2nd text message came as a follow up our table was taken, and the text became a cancellation message. The bakery restaurant was in high gear during lunchtime, their busiest times. A lady server arrived promptly to take our drink and food orders. I went with the fried chicken waffle; my friend went for the grilled salmon. Presentation was the first impression. The chicken waffle had a delicious flavor with some chopped small red bell pepper decorated in between the fried chicken and under the waffle with a creamy sauce topped with alfalfa sprouts. Being fried chicken breast, it was naturally a bit greasy on the side. Overall, it was top-notch flavor/texture. My friend enjoyed her grilled blacken salmon. I had a wonderful birthday lunch with my friend and she enjoyed her time just as much as I did while she unwrapped her gifts while we dined in what was the 'reserved' back room with chandeliers above the ceilings and much more spacious guests dining room. I was glad we were seated in the back area of the bakery restaurant with good lighting window seats all around with a ray of sunlight. To wrap up the afternoon before we returned to work, we went with the raspberry creme cruffin $7.50, the name sounded interesting, we went for it and wanted to try it. A crispy multi-layer muffin-cruffin croissant like texture, it was a perfect light (not a heavy dessert), a perfect sweet treat after a heavy lunch. It wasn't super sweet, which was good not to have loads of sugar on this one small desert. All in all, we had a terrific lunch from start to finish. It was perfect and everything went smoothly. Beaumont Bakery & Cafe is a perfect setting for business luncheon, breakfast, and dinner. You really can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. And you will love the restaurant's paper ribbons hung above the ceiling. It is darling-cute-cozy-fun, clean tables and seats. We will circle back to Beaumont Bakery & Cafe (there is a new shop opened just across from Beaumont Bakery & Cafe) in the same strip shopping center. BeauCoup is a bakery & gift shop next to Christy Sports. They offer amazing fresh baked cookies and bread, you can see the employees working in the background behind the kitchen, making fresh dough, the works. If you need a gift, BeauCoup offers candles, ceramic ware plates and bowls, and small areas of cosmetic products. BeauCoup is a sister company of Beaumont Bakery & Cafe. You will enjoy both bakeries when you visit. Whether you're a local guest or business traveler, Beaumont Bakery & Cafe (and....BeauCoup) is a must see - must do - must dine restaurant located at the Olympus Hills shopping center, Millcreek, Utah. *** Beaumont Bakery & Cafe do not accept reservation, when you arrive, the front desk employees will take your name and phone number. Once your table is ready, you will receive a text message that your table is ready and to check in with the front desk staff. They will escort you to your reserved table.

This place is a vibe! I LOVED the color palette, the ambiance, and decor. If you’re craving a crossiant visiting this bakery is a must! There are a variety of beautifully crafted pastries. There are also impressive, size-of-dessert plate, cookies that look delicious. All that being said, I’m gluten free and sadly could not partake, but I do know good quality when I see it. This place was busy especially for a Wednesday, but the wait was manageable and they have a great electronic system that updates your wait time and how many parties are ahead of you. I came in for brunch and enjoyed the Benedict! The poached eggs sat on large tomato slices, a bed of arugula, and so many crisp bacon pieces! It was delicious. It came with a side of fried potatoes and ketchup. I would get this again or venture out and try something new. [That being said here are my humble suggestions based on my palette, add lemon to the hollandaise sauce it elevates the flavor and gives your taste buds a kick. (I added some fresh squeezed lemon I got with my water). I’d also flavor to the potatoes, specifically lemon & rosemary with sea salt flakes so they pair well with the lemon in the hollandaise sauce. As for a dipping sauce, ditch the ketchup do an herbed aioli.] All that being said, I will definitely be back!

Beaumont Bakery + Cafe coffee and pastries have been a go-to for us since we discovered it a few months ago. We typically use (and love) their drive-through option to get coffee and pastries in the morning. Our most ordered items are iced lattes, iced blueberry matchas, chocolate croissants, and danishes. We also get the beaumont breakfast burrito on occasion. I would recommend all! To celebrate a birthday, we decided to dine in for brunch. We got our usual iced latte and iced blueberry matcha. For food, we each ordered the benedict. In my opinion, the hollandaise was slightly lacking in flavor - my partner did not agree and enjoyed it thoroughly. Otherwise, the dish was very good and filling. We would share this plate in the future. We planned to get our usual pastries on our way out but the benedict was a lot of food, so we ended up grabbing a chocolate croissant to share. Our server was lovely—kind and attentive. Everything came out quick! The dinning room is very nice and has lots of room, although I would plan for a wait if attending a weekend brunch. They do have a fair amount of “community” tables/seating which is an odd choice in my opinion, but not a huge issue. They have a small parking lot but the best option is parking in the large grocery parking across the way. For a coffee and pastry run, Beaumont is relatively fairly priced. Their full menu options are a bit high for us to regularly dine there.

Nothing here thoroughly tastes "great". It looks fantastic fabulous but today again, I got a beautifully looking breakfast croussant. The fries are always good the walnut butter tea is great but the COLD flavorless yellow eggs and COLD bacon were unimpressive. Server too busy to check for accountability. It was 8:30 to 9 AM on a Thursday.......... I seem to shake my head when leaving ... like... why?

Nestled just across from Trolley Square, the Trolley Cottage Café is a delightful gem in Salt Lake City that promises a memorable dining experience. This charming café boasts a menu filled with gourmet breakfast options that blend French-inspired dishes with American flair. Guests can indulge in classic favorites like omelets and eggs Benedict, or try something unique such as pain perdu—French baguette toast drizzled with orange Grand Marnier butter sauce, complemented by fresh berries and mascarpone cream.
Beautiful cafe! I have visited France and it does a great job making you feel like you are at a quaint Parisian little cafe. The employees were attentive. We were a rather large group. I will come back on my own. I had to take one star from the food as there were no accommodations made. It was written in their menu. I respect that, but as someone who visited with someone with a gluten/dairy allergy accommodations would have been welcomed.

After a 45 min wait we were seated, service was impeccable, quick and thoughfull. Generous glass of sparkling wine, good coffee. Food presentation was lovely, loved the ceramics. Love the compact menu. I ordered the Parmesan brioche toast, eggs were perfect, everything well seasoned. I only wished they used a thicker, toasted slice of bread as it got soft and soggy with all the sauces. Space is a bit tight. Not a great spot for a break up ;) would come back on a less busy day.

I have been coming here for brunch for the last 3-4 years. The service here is stellar, and the staff always makes me feel welcome. On top of that, I have never seen cleaner bathrooms in my life. All of the options are fairly priced, and there are several vegetarian dishes as well. After trying everything on the menu, I can confidently say my favorite is the parmesan brioche toast. All the flavors meld together perfectly for in-your-mouth explosion of taste. Every plate is made with the freshest produce, and comes out fresh and ready to enjoy. If you are feeling extra hungry, I recommend ordering the pancakes to go with your meal. They are incredibly light and fluffy, and come with the perfect amount of fresh berries and cream. Personally, I love that there is no wait list, as it makes the whole experience more rewarding.

Intimate, fun little spot for brunch! I loved how you could tell it was family-run. The decor on the inside is really cute and I really liked the small, limited menu—it was a good little change of pace as we’ve been trying new brunch spots around the city. Also, the food came out in probably 5 minutes, no joke. That was also on a Sunday morning for brunch, which was particularly impressive.

Serving an upscale Sunday Brunch, complete with Mimosas, Macchiatos and Mexican Coke, this adorable cafe offers a variety of delicious dishes as well as the option to sit either inside or out. We went in on a late Sunday afternoon and sat inside. The decor and ambiance of, what appears to be an old home converted into a cafe, creates that “at home” feeling with the upscale vibe you’d expect from a cafe in this area. We shared their Eggs Benedict and Croque Madam. Both dishes were beautifully plated and bursting with flavor!!! I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came and it $33.93 for both dishes. We did only drank water, but walking out of an upscale Sunday Bruch under $50 (including tip) put a smile on my face I definitely recommend giving this place a try.***Side note, plenty of parking in back and some on 700 East**

Adorable breakfast and brunch spot, now serving in the evening too. Chef designed dishes are elegant, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The breakfast potatoes were especially good. Great date spot. Very reasonable price for the quality of food. This is a hidden gem in the trolley area, and thanks to the shopping center across the street there's lots of free parking nearby.

Hog & Tradition at HallPass is an exciting new venture that showcases the culinary talents of Geoff Patmides, who has transitioned from The Local to this vibrant food hall. This spot specializes in mouthwatering BBQ sandwiches and a variety of other barbecue delights that are sure to draw crowds eager for a taste. With its cozy atmosphere reminiscent of neighborhood eateries, Hog & Tradition combines comfort with creativity, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers in Salt Lake City.
I tried the smash burger with fries, an excellent option if you’re craving a good burger. You order through a tablet, so it’s relatively easy, and the food was ready in about 6 minutes. Nothing to complain about — everything was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back.

Takeout review: Ordered a 2 meat platter with brisket and corned beef - both were solid. Pickled onions and pickles come with it. Had 4 sides: Collared greens, fries, coleslaw, and the ube cornbread. Collared greens were my favourite and were super flavourful. Fries also came quite crispy and seasoned well. Wings here are quite big but a little dry and could be seasoned more.
David X — Google review
I have only tried two dishes at Hog and Tradition, and both have been really delicious. The first time we went, I got the brisket grilled cheese. It came on nice toasty and buttery bread that was packed full of tasty brisket and multiple types of melty cheese. It had a good amount of flavor, but I will say it's pretty rich and heavy, which is to be expected. But overall, it's a solid option. The second time we visited, I really wanted to try their smoked turkey club sandwich after seeing a picture online. It did not disappoint. It was by far the best club sandwich I've had. The bread was the same as the brisket grilled cheese, nice thick buttery toasted bread. The smoked turkey had a lot of flavor and was not dry at all. The bacon had a good amount of flavor without being too much. The chipotle mayo was also a nice touch. The seasoned fries are pretty solid. They are a thicker cut fry, but they still usually retain a nice texture. The seasoning on top of them is also pretty good. My only complaint is both times we visited, the fries were barely warm when we received our meals. They still had some crunch, but they definitely weren't freshly fried. They had been sitting for a little bit. Service was a little bit weird. Everyone was nice, but the self ordering on the touch screen is kind of weird. It's nice in some cases, but this one just functions a little weird to me. I wasn't sure if our buzzer activated at the end of the order, as there wasn't really anything to confirm that it was activated. It was okay, but no the best. The atmosphere is hall pass is usually pretty nice, but it is usually high energy and sometimes it can be difficult to find a good place to sit. But it's not usually that crowded, so I wouldn't worry too much.

divine. no notes. apple coleslaw and sweet bbq sauce perfectly complemented the pulled pork sandwich. didn’t try any sides but they looked good !

Amazing experience. Super easy to order off the Kiosk. Once I did the guy behind the counter was really appreciative and super cool. I got the Cubano, Mac N Cheese, Beans and the Blueberry Peach Cobbler and MANNNNNNN 💥 💥 💥 it was amazing. The beans were personally my favorite. Overall it was great. The dips that came with the sandwich were great too I think the yellow was a honey mustard. That one was definitely 👌 great. I'd definitely recommend this place.

First time getting this place. My lady and I tasted the fries and they almost tasted like mold. Or something. We don’t know but tasted off for sure. The seasoning was great and just think maybe the meat or fries were bad. Don’t know. Than we both felt sick almost like food poisoning. She had it worse than I did. We just ended up tossing the food that cost us about $70 so Just beware. We really wanted to like this place since famous Dave’s closed up shop.

The brisket sandwich was horrible. If you want good bbq, don't go. As a good neighbor, I feel an obligation to warn others.
Zach W — Google review
We did not have a good experience at this place. It was a Saturday and pretty packed, noisy, and bustling. The way they handle the workflow of customers and food is confusing and not intuitive. The workers are running around building orders and none are very friendly or helpful to customers. You order yourself at a kiosk, grab a vibrating, blinking, light bar and go wait for the food to appear on a tray. They were out of several products, including the pulled pork that I wanted. I ordered the brisket which tasted like a simple, non-flavorful pot roast. The fries were good and crispy. The Purple Yams were amazing and exceptionally delicious - I could eat just that it was so good. And the "Ruby sauce" was a tasty combination of ketchup and BBQ sauce, however, they don't give you enough for your meat. I had half a small container to use on my large slab of meat and fries. My wife thought the mac and cheese was lovely and enjoyable. However, we were not impressed over all and probably won't be back, except maybe to get more Purple Yams.

Restaurant
Gourmandise is a French-inspired bakery and cafe in Salt Lake City, known for its made-from-scratch desserts. The establishment offers a wide array of decadent pastries, cookies, cakes, and tarts that cater to both traditional and modern tastes. From English bread pudding to French macarons to Baklava, Gourmandise covers a range of worldly dessert classics with finesse. The German chocolate cake, Tiramisu, and black and white cake are highly recommended.
I visit Gourmandise frequently and I really like it. It’s a pleasant place where you can enjoy anything from a family meal, a hangout with friends, to a relaxed date — whether it’s with a friend or someone special — and the best part is that you can talk for hours without feeling rushed to leave the table. That, to me, is priceless. Their pastry is good — maybe not amazing, but definitely solid. The food is quite decent, and their mimosas are tasty, making it a great spot for a laid-back brunch as well. Another plus is the easy access: there’s plenty of parking, which is always appreciated. The service is generally very friendly and welcoming. However, on my last visit, after clearing our lunch plates, the server took quite a while to return and check if we needed anything else. It wasn’t a huge issue, but worth noting. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is comfortable and calm, and like I said, I love being able to have long conversations without interruptions. I definitely recommend this place.

We love this restaurant! Delicious and fresh French food that’s casual. The pastry case is a formidable force of awesomeness and artistry with flower and sugar. So delightful! The salads are especially crisp and fresh. Yum! Maddox took care of us and we had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

It was a rough entry but the food was worth it for the most part. They had a delicious freshly made ranch dill dip dressing. Their peach vinaigrette was fantastic. The atmosphere is a little lacking. The check-in process was a little foggy. We went on a Sunday mid morning, cusp of blnoon. I would go back but it was definitely not somewhere to go if you're in a hurry. We can skip the door line and go straight in and order coffee and pastries and pick up your cakes and then go. So that's nice. Our coffees were on point and our food was delicious.

We waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. We had the host and hostesses walking by us not saying something. finally a waitress had to go grab someone because we’d been just standing there for so long. After we’d been seated our server either was not informed that she was serving us or didn’t check because we sat another 25 minutes until the host pulled the waitress to the side and reminded her that she was in charge of us and another neglected table. We finally ordered and got our food and in the hour we were actually being served we got our drink refilled once and only because we had to flag her down and ask that she refill my wife’s drink. The food was okay, we really weren’t impressed by anything that we had. And finally the reason most people come here is for the dessert. Our awful waitress was the one that bagged up our desserts and we forgot to check the bag til we got back to our hotel. She grabbed the wrong desserts and even forgot some of our items. Overall the experience was a poor one and we were thoroughly unimpressed by our dinner.
Dallin H — Google review
Disappointed Despite the High Reviews I chose this place based on its high ratings, but I left very disappointed. The treats looked appealing, but they all tasted bland. Cheesecake is supposed to be creamy, but the pumpkin cheesecake had the dry, crumbly texture of a cookie. Honestly, everything tasted like it was store-bought, even though it’s presented as freshly made in-house. To make matters worse, I ordered tea and was served very cold water—twice. How do you mess up boiling water, especially at a coffee shop? Don't be fooled by the reviews—this place is meh at best.
Kenneth B — Google review
Not comfortable seating but maybe trendy. Food was good and not too expensive. Bakery items a must after dinner. Waitress was very sweet and helpful. But the BIG thing was I left my bag under the table. This was especially bad because I was headed to Mexico in the morning! Passport and everything! I freaked out when I realized I left it after going back to the hotel. I went back and it was there! I am so grateful for honest people!

I recently moved to the Utah area for work, and a friend recommended Gourmandise. I was beyond impressed with my experience! Our server, Leslie, went above and beyond — offering excellent suggestions, providing attentive service, and making us feel truly welcomed. She was absolutely fabulous! The charming glassware was a delightful touch, and I look forward to returning with friends and family in the future.

⸻ I stopped by Grimandi Bakery today and picked up a beautiful-looking eclair. It was a good size and cost $5, which I was fine with because I was really in the mood for one. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the appearance. The chocolate on top was hard and crunchy, more like what you’d find on an ice cream bar than on a pastry. When I bit into it, it crumbled and fell right off. I’ve never had an eclair made this way, and it just didn’t work. The inside wasn’t much better. While the pastry shell itself was nicely done, the filling was bland, airy, and lacked sweetness or any rich flavor. Overall, it was unremarkable and disappointing—especially from a bakery that’s supposed to be “premier.” Honestly, it almost felt like something frozen and brought in rather than freshly made

Restaurant
Sill's Cafe is a classic American breakfast and lunch spot located in Layton, Davis County. It's a beloved mom-and-pop restaurant known for its no-nonsense, home-cooked breakfast dishes and heavenly scones. Despite the basic surroundings, it has garnered a loyal following of regulars who appreciate the delicious bacon, eggs, and coffee served here. While some may experience wait times due to its popularity, the friendly and attentive staff make the dining experience enjoyable.
I first became a regular customer in 1979, when it located on Main Street. Now 40+ years later I ate there once again. Received great service, the food is fantastic. Be far warned that portions are huge. Be sure and consider having a scone, also known as Fry Bread, you can ask for it either way. It was nearly empty when I went there in mid afternoon, however I was told there are usually more people, just depends on the time and day of the week or year, and how the weather is for that day🌡️☁️ ⛈️🛤️🌞☀️ You will enjoy yourself when you grab a bite to eat weather for a small or a large party!!!🎉🎂❤️

It's a relatively small place, it was very busy for a Wednesday morning, we had a fifteen minute wait for a table. The service was good, our waitress was very friendly. The food was okay. The country fried steak had good flavor but was far from the best I've ever had. The pancakes were decent, once again, not the best I've had. I felt the eggs were a little lacking, kinda flat, and not really fluffy. The hashebrowns were a little underdone for my tastes, if i came again of order them well done. Overall, it was a decent meal, the rest of my party was happy.

The waiting time is not that long. Thursday morning around 10-11am, my six-people squad waited for 30 minutes. Service and food were great. It was worth the money!

Best mom and pop in Utah. I came here as a kid. I returned to the state a few years ago and things were ok, but standard diner feelings. I came back this weekend for Fathers Day and was blown away. The food is great quality, the scones are as great as I remember, and the service was spot on. Well done to the whole team for raising the diner experience-you all nailed it.

I happened to find this place on a roadtrip a few years ago. The food was amazing and great service. I found myself about 4 hours away recently and decided I had to go back. It added a lot of driving to my trip, but well worth it! There aren't many places with food and service so good I will actually drive more than four hours extra just to get to. The food was just as good as I remembered. The hot beef sandwich was excellent. I took fritters and scones home to share with my husband. He now understands why I drove so far. Will be back again!

I hope you don’t take this lightly… this scone with honey butter changed my LIFE! I still am riding that high. The hash browns with SOS (like a peppery hamburger gravy) are so yummy if you like pepper. The bacon is the perfect balance of crispy and soft. Our waitress was so kind and very attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Idk man… Sills getting it done! 😮‍💨

I have my breakfast here, and it’s a great experience. The pancake stack is so huge, it takes four people to finish. Hidden gem in Salt Lake City.

Great place for a delicious no frills breakfast. I got the biscuits and gravy and tried some of a scone. Both were great. The bacon is thick cut and delicious. The kids ate their pancakes without complaint. We came on a Saturday at 8:30 and waited 20 minutes. The place was slammed, obviously very popular. They have a small dining room, so it’s quite loud. We had a group of 6 and it felt a bit tight.

Snowbasin Resort, located in Huntsville, Utah, has been a popular destination since 1936 and was even a site for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The resort offers classic ski activities and hosts year-round events. Visitors can take Olympic-themed gondola rides to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views and access to Needles Lodge where they can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and dining. The resort features ski slopes suitable for all levels with trained instructors available.
Really nice mountain! Great terrain, easy Parking. Challenging terrain at whatever your level of challenge is... You'll find it here. Take a ride on the Olympic tram, and if you get tentative, you can ride the tram down, no pressure to make the run on snow :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Snowbasin Ski Resort is an all-season paradise! In the winter, the skiing here is top-tier—groomed runs, challenging steeps, and absolutely stunning views. The lift system is fast and efficient, and there’s terrain for every skill level. Easily one of my favorite places to ski in Utah. Come summer, the resort really shines in a different way. The hiking trails are gorgeous, with wildflowers, epic ridgelines, and scenic overlooks. If you love mountain biking, Snowbasin has some of the best trails in the area—fun, flowy, and great for all levels. Don’t miss the free summer concerts—incredible live music set against a beautiful mountain backdrop. Bring a blanket, grab a drink, and enjoy the vibe! And if you’re looking for a unique dining experience, take the gondola up and eat at the top of the mountain. The food is amazing, and the views are unforgettable. Whether you’re here for snow, sun, or just the scenery, Snowbasin delivers. Can’t recommend it enough!

We took the gondola up to the Needles Lodge for Sunday brunch. At first glance, it seemed pricey but for what the ticket includes it is worth it. A ride up and down the mountain, the brunch, and access to the concert. Employees are helpful and friendly

I recently shot a wedding at Snowbasin and it was amazing! The views from the top really wowed everyone, especially the out of town guests. The bathrooms are extremely nice and photogenic, haha, but the whole place is just incredible. The staff there is amazing as well! It's a huge space and I love that it has indoor and outdoor options. Everyone had a great time!

What a beautiful Dog friendly resort! We loved taking our dog, Osiris up to listen to the blues, eat great food, have the perfect frozen adult beverage and enjoy gorgeous scenery. They are thoughtful with stainless steel water bins for the dogs placed everywhere. We will definitely be coming back to take Osiris on the Gondola.

Had an amazing time here! Beautiful resort. Except I did have a little trouble with the ski school administrators. I purchased a package for lessons & lift tickets for my kids but they didn’t give them the lift tickets at the school & no one told me I had to pick them up separately . So when they went to ride the chair lift with their instructor, they wouldn’t let them on. I had to run back to where lift tickets are purchased. I just wish someone told me sooner instead of the end of the day. They only got to ride the chair lift once because of the time wasted.
Helene D — Google review
Snowbasin has so much more to offer than just winter activities! We have fun at there during the summer and early fall too! Hiking, Blues and Brews and Octoberfest! I do recommend that if you don't have a pass, to purchase your tickets ahead of time. It makes the entry process much faster! Everything is definitely a little overpriced. However that goes for pretty much everything these days.
Stephanie D — Google review
My family had a great time here. Kids did two days of ski school and learned so much for their first time. The Learning center is very kid friendly and separate from the rest of the buildings, which was nice. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. All the food we had was good but usually needed some salt. The lines were short for the lifts and there was no problem if you just wanted to ride up and down and not ski.

Wasatch Bagel and Grill is a laid-back cafe and bagel shop that offers a variety of breakfast options, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Located near Park City's Snow Creek Drive, it's a popular choice for locals looking for an affordable yet satisfying breakfast or lunch before hitting the slopes. The menu features an array of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, fresh juices, and gourmet coffee.
Great spot to go for breakfast before hitting the slopes, service is quick and the food is excellent. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos (loved the meat lovers burrito, percent amount of meat to cheese ratio) the size of the burritos are pretty big and are very filling ! The omelets here were great, recommend the Denver Omelet! Pancakes were also so tasty and delicious.

We stopped here while on a bike ride and discovered a fantastic gem. I had the burger and fries (both fresh and full of flavor). My wife had a meat lovers omelet and it was also very good. They mixed everything in unlike some other restaurants. Friendly staff as well. We are heading back to the sister Mexican side this evening!

We had breakfast here several times while staying in Park City on vacation. Friends told us to try it, and we now recommend it too. I had the meat lover's omelet, hubby tried a couple different plates, breakfast burrito, and bagel sandwich. Staff was friendly and great atmosphere.

The eggs were freshly cooked for our bagels, and were so light and fluffy. (not like some places that make a puck and then just microwave it.) The bacon was thick and crispy and the bagels were loaded with flavored toppings. The Best part though was all the salsas and dipping sauces you could add to have each bite a totally different flavor combo. We ended up craving these by the end of our trip and going back for another breakfast Bagel. I would recommend to anyone going and getting one before a long day on the slopes or hiking.

Wasatch Bagel and Grill is a hidden gem in Park City. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking. The vibe is very laid back. There is lots of indoor seating and some booths as well. There are tv's on the walls so you can watch a game while you grab a bite. When it's warm, you can sit outside as well if you like. They have a massive menu but our favorite is the french dip. We haven't found a better one in the state. A close second is the Reuben. The sandwiches are hot and the bread is toasted to perfection. The meat is cut so it's easy to bite through and very tender. The fries are amazing as well. I can leave fries alone with this place being the exception. I have no idea how they cook them but they're crispy and have a great taste. They also have an expansive beer and liquor menu as well. You can get a beer and shot for $11. The prices are reasonable. Most sandwiches are between $10 and $15.

I’m giving this bar 5 stars because I love the food and bingo. Service is what you’d expect from a bar, the food is awesome. I always get the Rubin and Fries which is one of the best Rubin Sandwiches in the valley. The restrooms are bad. The smell in the hallway is that of a litter box that hasn’t been cleaned, ever. Restroom floors are sticky around the urinal. Please clean them.

Came here for brunch with the girls. One of them frequently visits and loves it so we were all excited to try. Sadly we didn’t have the greatest service. It was hard to get our waitress to even listen to us (ordered drinks and when another person in our party arrived she asked for our orders again as if we did place an order 5mins prior). She didn’t bring our drinks unless we flagged her down. All the other employees were awesome and super friendly. The food wasn’t great. I ordered avocado toast (not hard to mess up) and it had the end pit inside which was fun to bit into. The bacon was overly cooked and the toast was almost burnt. The eggs were delicious. I’m hoping to try them again in the future but it won’t be soon.

Decided to try Piper Down for the first time because of their vegan options. Was greeted at the door and carded, then directed to take any available space. Decided to sit by the door in order to be heard over the live music that looked like was going to start soon. Our server did not notice us despite serving nearby patrons. Instead she spent most of her time chatting with other patrons around the bar. Another server or perhaps a manager came past and asked if we'd been served and we told her no. She promised to set that straight. When no one came to take our order after 20 minutes, I finally asked the gentleman at the door if we were meant to order at the bar as you do in UK pubs. He was surprised that we had not had a server come over. Finally after being sat for about 25-30 minutes, our server finally came over and took our orders, which then took another 15 minutes to come out and was chased up by the second server/manager person. Unfortunately, me and my friend were both very hungry and in a rush so I'm not sure if the food was actually good or if I simply wanted to get out of there. We did both enjoy our meals but given the wait for everything and lack of attention, I'm not sure I'll be back in a hurry.

Loved that there are so many vegan options! The vegan wings were good. The ‘angry korean’ wings weren’t as spicy as we were hoping for. But still tasty. I’d order again. The cheesy fries were okay, but wish they offered more toppings to make it a true loaded fries. I don’t think I’d order those again. I want to try the loaded baked potato next time. Inside smelled like smoke, so if anyone has sensitivities to the smell, this may not be the location for you.
Vivian B — Google review
Great atmosphere, service that depends on how busy they are or if there's a shift switch (all great attitudes and super friendly just slower some nights, or miscommunicating whether or not the table has ordered or not), and amazing food that's unparalleled in the city--especially if you're there for the vegan menu. For fellow vegans, you just cannot go wrong with any of their choices, and unlike other places they do have a quite a few along with sauces. French dip is 10/10 with local Vegan Daddy meats that just can't be beat.

I popped in here with a friend after our bachata class and I was surprised by how cute and cabin-y it is inside! They had Christmas decorations up and there was a poker event going on in the back. We ordered the Taquitos and the Vegan Taquitos with a side of sweet potato fries. All of the food was FIRE! So tasty, fresh, and had great texture. The Christmas themed cocktails also had wonderful flavor balance. I got the Absinthe of Christmas and he got the Christmas Coffee cocktail. The only down note I have is that our main server, a lady with short curly hair, was quite rude throughout our visit. The other people that took our order and brought food were kind, but she was a sour spot in the visit for sure. I would definitely come back here though!

Being someone that doesn't drink, i still enjoyed being here. I just got a water on a bingo night. We had gustavo serving us and he was a great server. Very attentive and nice. Had a blast and my gf loved the watermelon sour. This "bearded gentleman" will definitely be back again.

Love the food, love the mimosas, love the vibes, love the price! I wish they would advertise on their signs when they have a cover for brunch. It wasn’t online or the signs outside. Our group of four had a wonderful experience. My beef dip was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. A staff prerson came around several times to made sure we were enjoying our lunch.

The food is great! They give back to the community! And they have without a doubt the cutest bathroom I’ve ever seen!! I love it so much I went back the next day and dragged my roommate along too. Did I mention that dogs are welcome on the patio and the have breakfast all day?? Cus they do! The outlets have usb options, if you were wondering.

Some good food, I wouldn’t say too expensive compared to other places. However they were out of a couple of their sides so that was a little frustrating.but they were still considerate and hospitable. Chill environment . But I don’t think I’ll come here again.

The Grab is the best breakfast burrito I have had in several years. The red sauce really set it off. The French toast was shockingly incredible. Service was so friendly, too! I would highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome, I got the Ruben sooooooooo goood I took pictures but I'll be honest they are possibly lost and wouldn't do any justice this place is a place you MUST VISIT. I'm gonna come back plus they have booze heck yeah!!!! A sandwich place who serves Mamosa is a place I want to be! The prices are fair the place is clean good environment good workers everyone seems happy to be there nice feel. A place I would reccomend to my mother! If you haven't been you must!
Jordan F — Google review
This is my first visit so maybe their other food is good. I will return at least one more time to try something else. I had the Ruben sandwich and the Corned Beef was low grade, at least half if not more was fat. The sandwich was $10 which I think was too much for the low grade meat and size of sandwich. They say that you can upgrade your chips or salad to another side for $2 so I asked for their tater tots side and the cashier told me that side wasn't included in their upgrades 😂
PS M — Google review
Here’s the deal. This place has good food. The parking is not so great. The tables have a sticky varnish like finish on them that everyone at my table was complaining about. The bad news is the prices are too high for what you get and to top it off, you wait in line and bus your table and they stand there while you pay and hope for a tip which creates an awkward situation. Awkward because there’s a no-tip button you want to push but don’t have your food yet so don’t dare push it... So overall good not great and for same money can go up street and get waited on at other restaurants.

Nestled on 4th Avenue in Salt Lake City, Straw Market SLC is a charming café that beckons breakfast and lunch lovers alike. With its inviting window-lined ambiance, this spot serves up classic dishes such as hearty breakfast burritos, fluffy French toast, and delicious omelets. A standout feature of the menu is their signature cinnamon rolls—large, soft delights made fresh daily for just two dollars each and vegan-friendly!
Came in on a weekday morning right as they opened and was met with the absolute nicest customer service possible. Was looking for a breakfast burrito and a cinnamon roll. Was told the cinnamon rolls are done usually 30 mins after they opened which wasn’t an issue. It was absolutely worth the wait. The breakfast burrito was nothing fancy but super fresh and good sized. The place almost feels like small market you’d find in manhattan.

Cute little dinner in the lower aves. Very nostalgic place— giving very homespun diner vibes. The service here is great! I didn’t catch her name but the shorter blonde woman who was both cooking and running the register was very sweet and really patient despite being very busy. The food is what you expect— the breakfast plate is pretty standard/ nothing super special but reasonable priced in comparison to other places. The cinnamon rolls, though? To die for! I was apprehensive because of the way they looked at first but they were so good I had to order more to go! Will be back.

This community store has a distinctive feature. The food is delicious and the interior environment is very comfortable. Most of the walls are made of glass, providing great sunlight and a wonderful view. I like the Denver set meal.

This is a must stop for breakfast! We came for the cinnamon rolls (which are amazing) but we LOVED their omelettes. Food is served with a smile and the kindness you’d expect from your favorite aunt. Thank you!

I live in Sandy but whenever I'm in the SLC area for breakfast, this is my go to place. SPECTACULAR food & prices! Don't forget your Cinnamon Roll to go🥰

It's a nice place with a simple menu. The soda fountain was down at the time I went but canned and bottled drinks were available. The breakfast burrito was good and the hash browns were very crispy. Would recommend as a convenient stop.

We were looking for a pet-friendly restaurant near downtown Salt Lake City and found this gem when searching Google. Food was amazing. I had their bacon, egg, sausage, and veggie breakfast sandwich and a super huge chocolate chip cookie. All cooked to order and delicious. Atmosphere was wonderful and they welcomed our fur baby inside. The staff was very friendly and wonderful to chat with.

Cafe
The Bagel Project is a cozy cafe in downtown Salt Lake City that challenges the assumption that the best bagels are only found in New York City. The owners, originally from New Jersey, have been making New York–style bagels since 2010 with carefully sourced ingredients and without sugar or preservatives. Despite the absence of New York water, their bagels are considered authentic and delicious. Customers can enjoy a variety of mouth-watering options, including breakfast sandwiches with generous cream cheese fillings.
This is one of my favorite spots in downtown Salt Lake City for savoring a variety of bagel options (and believe me, I have tried a fair few popular restaurants). Every bagel I’ve tried has been fantastic, especially because their cream cheese is incredibly delicious! The bagels are freshly made, and the generous cream cheese filling makes them worth every dime. Service is also prompt, even on busy weekends. If the main parking lot is full, there’s convenient street parking right across the road.

Was looking for a place to grab some breakfast close to Liberty Park and this fit the bill. There were a few people in line ordering ahead of me but it moved quick. I ordered a Lox & Loaded. It took about 15 minutes for my bagel to be ready. It seems like online order ahead is the way to go. But the bagel was delicious and very filling!
Leah D — Google review
I’ve been coming here for a few years now. The bagels themselves are kind of dry and underwhelming. However, their bagel sandwiches are definitely worth getting a try. My personal favorite and the one I’ve been having for years is the salmon lox bagel. I think it’s probably the best sandwich on their menu and probably the best Salman lox bagel You can find in Salt Lake City. It’s definitely not a type of joint where you were going to find a place to sit during a busy weekend day. Also I’d recommend going early before the good bagels sell out.
Nidal A — Google review
Local bagel place with electic combinations of bsgel sandwiches to tempt y our palate. Get there early as its packed with patrons, and sold out of most bagels 🥯 hours before closing. Enjoy a cup of brew while your sandwich is being prepared.
PD P — Google review
The food is great hands down. No complaint there. However, this man here should not be an employee. He is just oozing with negativity and pessimism. I couldn’t get my order in without his continual interruptions. His attitude it’s disgusting and does not belong in the service industry. I walked out and mentioned it to the guy behind me. He says, “ya he’s always like that.” It’s unfortunate that the toxic nature of this employee far out shadows the positive equities of this shop. I will NEVER shop at this location again simply because of this one employee. To the owner, you can do better. Let this employee go and find someone who will work for you with pride.
Manuel L — Google review
Stopped by The Bagel Project in Salt Lake City — service was fast and friendly, but the bagels themselves were a bit dry and underwhelming. The saving grace was the cream cheese smear was absolutely perfect. Limited seating inside, so it’s best to grab your order to go
Torin A — Google review
This little bagel place did very nice bagels to take away. They were slightly on the doughy side but the fillings were novel and everything tasted great. I had hummus with vegetables on a salt bagel and found it delicious. The portions are generous. I would say that the actual space isn't the best atmosphere and we did walk in to see a retainer on the floor, which was fairly gross. But it's close to a large park so it's probably somewhere worth grabbing to eat outside.

Chris' Cafe is a locally-owned establishment that specializes in serving delicious American comfort food for breakfast and lunch. This unique spot offers a cool ambiance, along with excellent service to create an enjoyable dining experience. The cafe's name is derived from its owners, Chris and Christy, who have successfully created a cozy atmosphere with a car and motorcycle theme. The menu provides numerous options without overwhelming patrons, allowing them to choose from a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices.
Decent food, at least what we tried. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich was good. Onion rings were crispy. Fries were decent enough to take home. Philly looked okay, but not Philadelphia Sub tier, but better than Warren's. Service was laid back. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Booth benches were in sad shape. The backs were wobbly and peeling. Would probably come back to try other dishes.

We must have went on an off morning. So many great reviews that we just had to try this place. The service is incredible! The staff is so nice even when they were slammed! The service was a tad slow to take our order. We ordered the banana pancakes, eggs Benedict and side of biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were delicious! Biscuits were good but the gravy was bland. Eggs bench tasted like jerky. The atmosphere is pretty cool, looks like an old garage.

Our first time dining was a great experience so we had to come back! I always get the country fried steak when I go to breakfast diners and I’d say Chris’ is my favorite so far. The owner even said hi to our table and I thought that was such a nice gesture. This will be our new Sunday brunch tradition.

This place is great for a relaxed diner feel. The food was very American home style, but some components were just a little poorly done. Or server was kind and attentive.

Easily my favorite breakfast place in Davis county. Staff is the most friendly, attentive, and quick servers I've seen. The friendly owner typically comes around to make sure everyone is appreciated for coming in. They always seat large crowds well. My peach crepe special was outstanding. The people who make the menu care about the ingredients and taste. Not too sweet, and you can tell the cook cooking cared about what he was doing while they cooked. Always appreciate it, and has been consistent for the last several years I have been going.

If you're in Layton, make sure to stop by Scrambled! Breakfast + Lunch, located at 2151 N Hill Field Rd. This charming eatery is perfect for early risers with its hours running from 5 AM on weekdays and slightly later on weekends. With a convenient drive-thru option, you can grab your breakfast favorites like waffles, pancakes, and French toast topped with delightful fruits and creams on the go. But that's not all—Scrambled!
It's such a cool little place to eat! The food was amazing! They give the biggest portion sizes as well. We went on a Sunday around 12 p.m., and it was packed! I feel like the food came out pretty fast for the number of people that were there. You order the food first and then find a table. I would highly recommend the meat lovers omelet!

I feel so bad sharing bad reviews but I came here for the pancakes and even though they look okay. They were insanely Doughy, tough and tasted like they had not really been cooked. My daughter's cinnamon roll was barely touched. It was so tough and sadly dry.I could barely swallow it. Add some baking powder and some greek yogurt yall!! Mcdonalds pankakes would have been better or bisquick. Cmonnow. Maybe people get the skillets? Sorry. Just being honest. The baked goods are def not why people are coming here.
Deanna C — Google review
The scones are to die for. Do NOT leave this place without trying the Utah scone. In fact get two so you can try the honey butter and the cinnamon butter. I had the double trouble breakfast also which was overly filling! Two eggs, double the bacon and hash browns with a side scone. More than I could eat. This place is extremely small and popular so unfortunately that creates a bad combo. You may not find a seat at rush times. They do offer to go. You order at the front counter and are given a number. You may have to wait for a seat but if you do find one they will bring the food to you. You can only sit down after you order. Super crowded little restaurant but the scones are worth it!
Aliza B — Google review
We liked our food, was seasoned well and had the right texture. We ordered the medium-done eggs and in our opinion eggs we got could be considered rather easy than medium - so the meal ended up messy. I disliked the lemonade and didn’t finish it. Bread and bacon were very tasty!

Went on a Sunday morning and it was so quick with so much quality. Loved the iced coffee and the chile verde eggs! Everyone was nice and it was clean 10/10 recommend! Best part was the scone and honey butter, soooo good!!

The Caramel blended coffee and Scone were amazing! The chicken fried steak would have been awesome but the gravy literally tasted like I bit into an onion. I spit it back out it was so bad, which was a bummer because my girlfriend highly suggested this place.

My new breakfast place. You are warmly greeted when you step through the door. The place is clean and roomy. There is an extensive menu, so making a decision is hard! I had the country fried steak with the spiced potatoes and topped it off with a "small" scone. It was actually the size of my head! The food was amazing! I was literally thinking about it all day! My wife had spiced potatoes with eggs and loved it. The portions are generous and the service was top notch. I recommend eating here!

Spent just $24 after taxes, that was after I added an egg burrito too since I honestly expected the portions to be a lot smaller. Not pictured is the Dutch baby/“scone” that was also included. Food was great and service was friendly.

The Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City offers refined and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, featuring spacious accommodations with balconies and superb suite bathrooms. The hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to popular attractions such as Temple Square and Greek City, with transportation options available right outside the door. Guests can enjoy two pools, a low-key American grill, and a small shop selling snacks and drinks on-site.
I’ve stayed at a lot of conference hotels, by far one of the best. The hotel is immaculate. Clean floors, base boards, polished wood, and the pool looks like it was built today. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and offer balconies if you’re in the garden area. Conference facilities are way more than adequate with plush carpet, projection systems, and audio. I would highly recommend staying!

Overall, hotel was fine for a 2 night stay. What I liked: 1) The interior design of the main lobby. 2) Friendly front desk staff. 3) Spacious clean room. 4) Room service every day (on day 2, they made my bed, but it was the same bed sheet since I saw a tiny black spot that was also there the night prior). 5) Strong shower water pressure. 6) Soda vending machine in the building I was in. 7) Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap bar smelled great! 8) Lot of outlets around the room including USB ports. What I didn't like: 1) 2/6 hand towels I used has tiny stains on them. One had a small pink stain and another a small orange stain. 2) Room initially smelt a bit like the inside of a senior home. 3) Mini fridge was in a drawer and would sometimes leak out water. 4) If you get food delivery, you have to walk over to the main building. 5) The room I got had a glass top table so when I was trying to do work, my mouse wouldn't work...luckily they gave me a hotel map that I used as a mouse pad! 6) The cold water knob on the sink was a bit faulty and wouldn't really be cold, so most of the time I was just washing my hands with some pretty hot water.

We stayed in the tower at the top floor for a night and had a great experience at this cute hotel. The view was amazing and the room had all the amenities we could have asked for including those for our toddler. Temple square and University Blvd are a short walk from the hotel. A small note to management: it might be helpful to offer guests complementary bottled water when they arrive. This was a glaring oversight which can be solved easily and will enhance the guest experience.

We stayed here for one night and will definitely be back. We upgraded to a tower room which we are so glad we did. It was spacious with a sitting area, desk, and large bathroom. We also had an amazing view of the mountains. Little things I appreciated…furnishings were nice and felt like home, hvac runs constantly and is wonderful white noise, there are night lights you can turn on in the bathroom if you like, and it was super quiet. There is also an amazing breakfast place on the ground floor. We were able to walk to a close by restaurant for dinner as well. 10/10!

Beautiful hotel. Our room was nice, but not in main hotel. Breakfast was WONDERFUL! A hot line and a cold line with omelettes made to order, and just about anything you would want for breakfast. Tablecloths and servers bringing coffee, and tea.

This is my second time staying at Little America for work, and once again, I'm reminded why this hotel stands out. The property itself is stunning, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. During my first visit, I had a less-than-ideal experience with noisy neighbors who made it nearly impossible for me to sleep. I called the front desk, and although the situation was difficult to resolve fully, the staff did everything they could to assist. Even then, I had nothing negative to say--the level of service and the overall atmosphere were outstanding. Now, I'm back for another stay. While checking in, the front desk attendant, Carolyn, asked if I had stayed with you before. I casually shared the story of my sleepless night, which I now find amusing--though at the time, I was completely exhausted and not in the best mood. Carolyn listened with warmth and empathy. At one point, she excused herself briefly, and when she returned, she told me that, as a courtesy, my room had been upgraded. I was genuinely shocked--and deeply touched. It was such a thoughtful gesture and one I hadn't expected. Carolyn didn't have to do anything, but the fact that she listened, cared, and took the initiative to make my stay more comfortable meant the world to me. It's small acts of kindness like this that leave a lasting impression. Carolyn went above and beyond. She was friendly, attentive, and had the kind of energy that makes you feel instantly at ease. After a tough week, her kindness truly felt like a gift. To Carolyn's managers: she is the epitome of excellent customer service. Later in the day, I saw her helping a new team member with remarkable patience and grace. She is clearly a natural leader and an asset to your team. If anyone deserves a promotion, it's her. You have a gem in Carolyn, and thanks to her, I'm already looking forward to my next stay at Little America.

Best birthday mini vacation ever. They upgraded my room when they heard it was my birthday and our waiter at the buffet gave me a piece of special birthday cake with a lit candle and everything. Great service. Amazing pool on the second floor. The only thing is you have to pay extra to park on top of the already pricey rooms.

Hotel
Nestled in the picturesque Park City, Utah, Montage Deer Valley is a luxurious alpine resort that offers an array of amenities and activities. Situated near the renowned Deer Valley Resort, it provides convenient ski-in/ski-out access. The resort boasts over 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces, making it an ideal destination for meetings and events.
I recently stayed at the Montage Deer Valley for three nights and it was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, and every interaction with the warm and attentive staff made the experience even more special. Although I was here for a conference and most of our meals were catered, I had the chance to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast and lunch offerings, and they completely exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, fresh, and far beyond the typical “conference food.” I especially loved the wide variety of beverages, which kept things exciting and never repetitive. One of the highlights was the s’mores experience. The official time had ended earlier than we could make it due to our dinner schedule, but the hotel staff kindly went out of their way to prepare marshmallows for us. We ended up gathered around the fire, extending the evening and creating such a memorable moment together. The spa was another standout, incredibly relaxing and exactly what I needed. When I started to feel unwell from the altitude, the staff quickly brought water and altitude tea to my room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and helped me feel better right away. Every detail, from the kindness of the staff to the comfort of the facilities, made this stay unforgettable. I was truly touched by the genuine care and hospitality I received, and I would absolutely love to return.

Be very careful with this resort. They increased the room rate after I checked in and did not tell me. I’m current trying to get ahold of their accounting department to get an explanation and a credit for the amount of the increase that I did not authorize. They are not picking up the phone. The resort was beautiful, and we had a very relaxing time. They took good care of us on the weekend after our marriage. We recommend the spa, it was very relaxing. I will increase my rating after they give me a credit for the increase that they did not tell me about and that I did not authorize. I raised my review rating. They called me back. They explained that the total rate divided by the amount of nights was equal to the average nightly rate that I was quoted from the start. They set incorrect expectations when I checked in when they told me the rate for the first night. When I got the bill after checking out I was upset because I thought they were ripping me off by increasing the rate after the first night. If the total amount they were going to charge me was always the average multiplied by the amount of nights, then they should just charge the average rate every night to avoid misunderstandings like this.

This is by far my favorite hotel in Utah! The montage deer Valley is located right on the ski resort with the most incredible built-in view of the mountainside. This hotel is truly worth every penny! I love that the open spaces are so large so it never feels busy. The rooms were recently updated and are stunning! I love the attention to detail in the rooms. Rooms: recently updated and very beautifully appointed. The heated bathroom floors are a nice touch. Gym: they have an incredible gym! With an outdoor terrace to workout on. The equipment is top notch. Pool: both pools are stunning! I think this is the best outdoor pool area in park city by far.

My wife and I stayed at Montage Deer Valley for a weekend getaway. We were hoping to just relax, but ended up working from the room most of the time. Even so, everything about our stay was great. We ordered In-Room Dining a few times, two dinners and one breakfast. Both dinners were served by Isra, who was super friendly, very attentive, and great to talk to. We asked him for some local restaurant tips and he gave us awesome recommendations for Mexican food on Main Street. Breakfast was served by Lyz, who was also amazing, really kind and professional. The Front Desk team was always helpful, and Housekeeping did a fantastic job too. Even though we didn’t get to explore much because of work, the service and the people here made our weekend perfect. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was my first time ever visiting the resort. From the in-room fire places to the soaking tubs large enough for two I was wowed at every turn. I also had the opportunity to partake in a massage and enjoyed the amenities in the spa. The restaurants had a great selection of food and drinks and the environment was great. Highly recommend. Hope to visit again soon.

I recently stayed at the Montage Deer Valley for a business conference in October—just before ski season—and it was absolutely incredible. My suite was spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with two fireplaces and two full baths, making it feel more like a mountain residence than a hotel room. The food scene was top-notch, with exceptional service and variety at every meal. The bars offered an impressive selection of bourbons and wines, perfect for unwinding after meetings. Even without the snow, the setting was stunning and serene. I can only imagine how magical it must be in winter. Highly recommend!
