The 50 best breakfast and brunch in the Oregon Coast

My breakfast was really good! The coffee hot and service great. My only critique would be the portions of crab and potatoes were skimpy. (Potatoes a little dry) For $41 (includes coffee and tip) I should have walked out with a full belly. The atmosphere was pleasant but tight. This place has a great reputation and I would concur worth waiting for 15 minutes.

What can I say about this little establishment! First, trust Google Maps. If it appears like it took you to the rear of the establishment, as it occasionally does, TRUST IT. Then, take the “cash-only” requirement in good faith - it really reflects on how genuine the establishment is. You can always walk across the street and get cash. Then, don’t be discouraged by the small size of the place - it is big on all aspects that really matter. Great food, great service that goes beyond a friendly hospitality, and did I mention great food? Definitely the best place I have had breakfast on the coast. It is the only place that I have had desert after breakfast. Prices were more than reasonable. And a shout out to Jasmine, our host who made us feel like family. Drop everything and go there for breakfast😊

Lazy Susan is such a little breakfast hug! The food was SOOOOOOO good — you can just taste the love in every bite. 🥞✨everything was top notch, and fresh. The bacon 🥓 THICKKKKKKK and delicious - Tiny heads up: it’s cash only, so bring some bills. Totally worth it though…. ☀️🍽️

We had a mid-morning breakfast here. Inside tables were full, so we ate outside. It was chilly and there are no outdoor heaters. The menu is a bit limited. Our food was nothing special but fine--it just cooled off quickly, and portions were modest. Outdoor tables are large, so if you're a twosome you may be sharing. Cash only.

💯 As soon as they have you in, you are greeted with a smile. Very cozy atmosphere, very quick service from ordering to finish was 30min. Food was fresh homemade marionberry scones were phenomenal. Gingerbread waffle was soft with homemade yogurt, Dungeness crab Benedict was scrumptious.

Place is really good if you find yourself in the local area to catch a glimpse of the goonies rock. Only thing that bothered me was the cash only. There is a bank across the street, but who doesn't have credit/debit payments. I understand why >:) but still. Super old building with minimal seating and staff but thats what makes it super nice. Not being around 60+ people. I'd come back for sure.

A bit of a wait here when you put your name on the list. Super cozy seating upstairs. Awesome server. I ordered the mushroom omelette and the crispy cheddar on the edges was life changing. My husband loved his wheat waffle with fruit and whip. One of our favorite spots in cannon beach!

We were able to get right in with our family of 6 which was great. The portions were generous and the bathrooms were clean! The Miss Piggy Sandwich was delicious! The buttermilk pancakes are what I ate as a child at my favorite lakeside breakfast place in Iowa and haven't been able to find since I was in high school. It was magical. The French toast was also good. My daughter didn't love her strawberry crepes. I would go back for the buttermilk pancakes every single day!

I had the Dungeness crab omelette with substituted banana pancakes. It was a splurge but tasted great. I especially love the banana pancakes with entire banana slices in them! I appreciated that the waitress was super attentive to me even though I was there alone (I eat out alone often and am frequently ignored in other places). She made sure my water was full and that everything was going well. Thank you for the service!

In August 2025, we visited the Pig 'N Pancake restaurant in Cannon Beach, Oregon. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We ordered breakfast meals, and everything tasted great. We are visiting Oregon from out of state to do some boating and fishing. Cannon Beach is a beautiful area and going to Pig 'N Pancake for breakfast made our trip even more enjoyable.

A quaint little breakfast spot. The pancakes are amazing (and I don’t usually care for pancakes)! I tried an omelette and it was delicious. Food options were plentiful and so good we came back a second time. Service was great too. We were seated immediately. They offer breakfast and lunch (until 3pm) so get there early if you want to try.

The food presentation was very appetizing. Flavour was a bit of a downfall. It wasn't bad but there was a lack of flavor. Everything tasted the same and it was quite bland. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The host was not friendly and made it feel unwelcome almost like we disturbed him on our way in and out.

The experience here from a tourist's point of view, was a mediocre one at best. Looking at Google maps when I found this place also showed that it's a mini chain of diners along the coastal towns of Oregon at least. I ordered a taco omelette and it was adequate, the hash browns were unmemorable and the taco seasoning never really came out in the omelette. You do get salsa, sour cream and guac with your omelette which is nice. Unlike every other diner I have eaten at for breakfast my entire life you don't get a choice of toast here. Hope you like white bread toast. My S.O. ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was an insult to sausage gravy and the biscuits were like paste. The waffle though. The waffle was good. We had it with the blueberry compote it was light and airy like a cake would be. More of a dessert and not a breakfast item. We also must have been our waitresses first customers of the day because she forgot my S.O.'s drink order and my sister's added cheese to her eggs, and we were handed the bill as soon as we were handed our food. This place can be passed by. Especially in Cannon Beach where you can get a better breakfast made for you and your family.

Pig N Pancake has been a fave since childhood and this recent visit did not disappoint. I can only speak to the pigs in a blanket as that is the only thing I've ever ordered. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive with coffee and water refills.

I love this coffee shop, and they definitely have the best coffee in Cannon Beach. The staff are tremendously friendly and the coffee is delicious. The atmosphere though it gets crowded is warm interesting and inviting. They also have lots of delicious treats to snack on AND Gluten free options. It's definitely worth stopping by.

We were able to enjoy our morning coffee and here at Sleepy Monk Coffee roasters. Although we headed out early there was a long line outside, however it moved at a nice pace. We ordered our coffee and bagels and a yummy orange chocolate chip scone. I tried the special pumpkin spiced latte however it was very light on a pumpkin flavor. It was a nice way to start our day and will return next time we're in Cannon Beach.

Definitely go here if you’re visiting cannon beach! The GF lemon poppy cake is the best thing ever and if you don’t want something too sweet you will love it! We come here every time we visit cannon beach and always have the best time. The atmosphere and customer service is great. I love the chocolate whip cream on top of my latte! Great place to hangout and enjoy delicious coffee and pastries. They also have amazing bagels. I had the rosemary one and think about it everyday. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Always a must stop when we visit Canon Beach. You can expect long lines forming prior to opening and there’s reason to it. Coffee and drinks are amazing. Staff and vibes are on point. So good that we end up ordering our beans from them for our home coffee. Make sure to stock up while we’re in town though.

This coffee shop is so nice! Lovely, calm atmosphere with a couple small tables inside and more seating outdoors. The menu has some fun specialty drinks (highly recommend the Druid's Delight) and the baked goods are amazing! The staff was all very friendly and service was fast! Will definitely seek this place out the next time I'm in the area!

Coffee was good, bagel was good. The old woman taking orders was so rude it ruined our experience. Not to us, but to another group of customers that came in while we were there. This woman got a cup of coffee, and didn’t get her change, (obviously leaving a small tip) The woman said: here is your quarter, I’m worth more than that! …. The woman took her change, then put it in the tip jar. The old lady behind the counter then said: Oh thanks, a nickel for each of us! I couldn’t believe how rude this woman was. Everyone else seemed nice.

Good coffee. Good food. It’s a nice, warm and lovely shop. We came here for coffee beans. We will definitely come back.

Got the smugglers cove and the cape blanco. Both were very good. Tasted fresh and the crepe was cooked perfectly. I think the portion size was perfect and the staff were very friendly! I also love the way the little cones the crepes are served in have perforations that are able to be torn away as you eat so you don’t sit there and munch on paper while trying to inhale your crepe. 10/10 would go again 🤙🏻

Vegetarian Food Review. I am so glad I stopped by this place. One of the most delicious crepes I have eaten so far. They made it with so much heart and just the way I would like it to be. I chose to make my own combo and it was perfect. Try cheddar, tomato, sundried tomato, jalapeño, spring onion and pesto as the filling. Let me know if you liked it. Yummm. Can’t wait to be back. Thanks Maya and Yuri. Since it’s a kiosk you can walk one block to the ocean, pack a chair to sit there and enjoy the breeze, the view and delicious food. It was so relaxing and fulfilling. Good vegetarian food is such a rarity.

Got the Agate Beach (Nutella and strawberries) and Cape Blanco (Pesto chicken). Ordering process was thru a kiosk outside. The food was ready very quickly. I like that the crepes came in cones so that you can eat while you walk. Kids loved their dessert crepe and I liked my pesto chicken.

The crepes are good, but the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. When I say good, they are $8-10 good, max, not $15 good as currently priced. Their expensive Thai tea (costs $6.75+ here, versus $4 at a Thai restaurant) was not even sweet. And the spinach in my savory was soggy so I removed it. My bill was $40 without tip for 2 crepes and a drink. So at least for me, this place is an occasional treat, not a regular habit. My favorites places to eat are these ones where I feel my money was well spent. This was not it for me.

The smells coming off of this place were divine. I was starving and this was a perfect little hole in the wall stop (literally). We had a savory crepe and it was absolutely delicious, and made quickly. The kids loved it, too. Taking off one star because of the service. There was a note on the iPad that said something to the effect of “don’t make the chef cranky and walk away before you get your order.” And I witnessed as someone did just that and the staff did indeed get cranky. All of that isn’t that bad in itself - they are just being honest about their expectations and needs. BUT, then there is a tip screen. So not only am I being asked to tip for an order I placed on an iPad (not with a human), that is served to me through a window, and am being asked to tip before I have even received my food and can verify the quality, but I’m now also expected to tip when the establishment has explicitly warned me they will be grumpy with customers. Just rubs me the wrong way, like they expect extra payment simply for being willing to serve you at all… which is the point of food service. This isn’t something that would prevent me from returning or from recommending this spot to others. But I’d like management to take note about what a big turn-off the tip creep is.

First time here and was walking through the area and I thought a crepe sounded tasty and this surely did not disappoint. I decided to try the Cannon Beach crepe it was so good. The prosciutto and figs was a great combination. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back when I return. I feel like you cannot go wrong with any choice.

Although I did appreciate the ease of ordering through the kiosk, the convenience did not make up for the high cost or the poor flavor. I paid 15$ for a crepe I would not have paid 7$ for after tasting it. I ordered the cannon beach (goat cheese, prosciutto, figs, and honey) which should have been a delightful combination, however the food was cold, dry, the flavors somehow clashed with each other. I was very disappointed I had chosen to eat here. The price in my experience, did not match the quality

Food was amazing! Highly recommend stopping in to get anything on their menu, especially baked goods, to go! The service felt pretty slow on a Saturday morning but we could tell they were very busy and probably needed more people in the kitchen. The serving staff were friendly and again so busy. I thought the place would be quaint and cozy but shockingly loud with how many people were eating, the kitchen partly open, people waiting, and staff moving around. I would totally go back because the food was spectacular just try to time more off hours.

We had a bit of a wait but was totally worth it. My husband and I shared the Dory cod, pineapple, purple onion, and cabbage wrap - it was so good! We also split a bowl of creamy chicken noodle soup with sourdough baguette slices. It was all very delicious.

Probably the best biscuits and gravy I've had anywhere on the Oregon coast. Western Omlete was also Amazing. They seemed a little short handed, so service was on the slower end. Make sure you put your name on the list if you're waiting on a table. Overall excellent nosh!

Such a cute idea! Our breakfast was great! I could try all the things here!

I spent a few days recently staying nearby on the coast. Came here on a Thursday, ordered a tuna salad sandwich to go. The bread was fresh and the tuna as well. Although a little heavier on the mayo than I usually would prefer, overall an excellent meal. I will eat here again when I am in the area next. It’s busy, and I can see why.

Be prepared for a long brunch. We came here on a Saturday morning. Waited about 20 minutes to get seated. It took another hour for our food to arrive. The parking is on a gravel alleyways. The food was good and the staff was friendly.

Service is super friendly, coffee is great , and good God, the scones are good. The cherry almond scone is top-tier and they even do a biscuits and gravy with their savory scone which I had. 100% worth the drive out to visit, will absolutely be back soon.

Wow!!! This food was amazing and just hit the spot on a cold, rainy afternoon! I got the Denver omelette and my husband got the giant chicken fried steak. They both came with such savory, perfect hash browns and we got sour dough and cinnamon raisin toast on the side. My mouth is so happy!

I walked from my hotel on a Friday morning for breakfast at this small classic diner and bakery. It was busy and I was seated after a short wait. I reviewed the menu and ordered the three Pancakes Special with sausage links and one egg. The menu inculdes French Toast, omelets, steak and eggs, and much more. I ate a pastry and received my order in about fifteen minutes with no problems. The pancakes were light and fluffy with good taste. The egg and sausage links had good taste and were not overcooked. Located on Brooten Road in Pacific City past the Shell station with limited parking. Cash and check are the only forms of payment accepted. A nice place to have breakfast with friendly service, good food with lunch options, and a classic diner vibe.

This is a small breakfast/ lunch place. You may have to wait for a table but it's worth it. We had breakfast there. Eggs, tasted like Mom made them, and raisin toast. It was very good. They have much to select from! Service was very good.

This place was incredible. Been to PC two other times and never stopped here. Now I have fomo for what I have missed. Everything was delicious. Like the food I remember my grandma making. Not fancy, just plain good!!

Very good chicken fried steak. Bring cash though. They don't take credit cards. Had to leave my daughter while I ran home and got cash. Was a little disappointing to do that to her during a special breakfast. That said the food was good and the service was pleasant. Very small dining area.

What a hidden gem. We stopped in here for breakfast. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Servers we're super kind, amazing and friendly. Cute regular locals get their own coffee cups. Quaint spot, with fun decor for Valentine's day, Pastry display had me drooling. My boyfriend and I had breakfast. Food was fast, hot and just scrumptious! Coffee was hot and topped off accordingly. What an amazing experience. Go support local! You won't regret going here!!!

This place accepts cash or check ONLY!! This is why I have it 4 stars rather than 5. I did not know this until we were eating and luckily we had just enough cash on us to cover the meal. I am a credit card person who doesn’t carry that much cash with me. There was no sign on the door that it was a cash only place. I noticed a tiny sign on top on the cash register after we started eating. Now onto the food. Food was good. Prices are GREAT. You get a decent amount of food with your order. Coffee was okay. Standard restaurant quality. It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. We drove 18 miles to eat here and were very happy with our order. The staff were friendly and wonderful. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go and once I got home I ate it and it was the best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten. They make their pastries AND bread in house. Worth the drive if you are with in a hour from this cute little restaurant.

This place did not disappoint. I got the special, a veggie scramble and French toast. Both were so fantastic! It’s a great pit stop for breakfast if you’re driving the coast. Halfway between Tillamook and Cannon Beach. We did not drink but all the cocktails looked so pretty! Great ambiance too. The bathroom decor is stunning!

Great spot that serves some delicious brunch items. Every item we ordered did not disappoint. Unfortunately we were going to drive out to Cannon Beach, so was unable to partake in any of the cocktails they serve, but they looked delicious. Will definitely visit again when I'm back in Manzanita!

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Best brunch I've had in decades - thank you Reddit folks! We split two dishes and it gave us a bit of savory and sweet. We got the scramble (first item on their brunch section)with grilled potatoes and homemade biscuit AND 3 slices of their crusted French toast. The service was among the best we've had as well. They were super attentive without being intrusive and timed us well for when we needed more coffee and for when we were ready for the check. Our server had such a good mood and happiness about her it just made everything feel perfect. The place is very busy but they're so efficient they move quickly without making us feel rushed, either.

We stopped by this restaurant by recommendation. It was an interesting experience. It's a small restaurant and people were waiting on the line. Nevertheless , we decidedtowait. Waited 15 minutes. Food was served quickly, and it was tasty. My compliment to cook. I did like a service girl's dirty nails. I wish people who work in restaurants keep their nails clean and short. Because of so many people inside, the restaurant was noisy.

Just the best place about Manzanita! Leah the bartender and her mimosas and Pink Pony Club Spritz! The owner was also fabulous…thanks for a great place to hang during my road trip.

Like the place knew what month it was and leaned into the celebration with real sincerity. It added a quiet warmth to an already welcoming spot. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I’ll say this: it was textbook perfect. Rich, velvety hollandaise, beautifully poached eggs, and a base that held up without getting soggy. Everything was balanced, thoughtfully plated, and genuinely satisfying. I paired it with their spicy Bloody Mary, which absolutely delivered—house-infused vodka, layered heat, not just spice for spice’s sake but depth and character. I could’ve sat there with that drink all day. Max went with the lemon ricotta pancakes, and I stole more than a few bites. Bright citrus cutting through the creamy batter, with a soft, pillowy texture that somehow still had structure. They tasted like someone had carefully thought them through, not just thrown them on a brunch menu because they sound fancy. That’s the thing about Yolk—nothing feels phoned in. The staff hit that rare sweet spot: relaxed but sharp, easy to talk to, clearly proud of the food they’re bringing to the table. You get the sense that the kitchen and the front-of-house are in sync. They’re not trying to be trendy; they’re just doing it right. Between the menu (loaded with things I still want to come back and try), the inclusive energy, and the consistently great food, Yolk easily earns its place as a must-stop on the coast. If there’s a wait, take a breath and hang out—it’s absolutely worth it.

I had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Georgie’s Beachside Grill in Newport, Oregon! The Wild Salmon Sandwich was a standout—perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the presentation was spot-on, making every bite a delight. The oceanfront vibe of the restaurant added such a special touch to the experience, with stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I can’t recommend Georgie’s enough for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be back!

The bowl of clam chowder was absolutely top-notch. And when I say bowl, I mean a bowl. They gave such a huge portion that you could just eat an appetizer and the clam chowder and you would have enough. We had steamer clams on the table as well and they were a fantastic flavor. I also ordered the Diablo seafood pasta. It was sweet and mildly spicy. The meal comes with complementary sourdough bread and butter. The atmosphere was nice. They have an automatic window cleaner that was interesting to watch as it turned on and cleaned all the sea breeze from the windows. It is family, friendly, but majority of the clientele seems to be the older generation. Overall, I gave it a five star as it was well worth it. Our bill came to around $100 plus tip.

Just had a birthday dinner here and the food was excellent. However the staff never did actually acknowledge the birthday and overall sort of bare minimum effort service. My date requested a bottle of beer and was brought a flat draft, as tho they were emptying the keg. The steak was phenomenal, though, and while the booth seats are a little tight (I definitely recommend requesting a window seat) the view at sunset was incredible and the Bloody Mary I ordered was really good, too, and I’m kind of a snob about them. The bread they brought out was also amazing. The rice pilaf was good, but the vegetables are just sad. My date got the fisherman’s stew and said it was ok, but that there could have been more prawns than the 3 they give you. 4 stars overall.

Everything gets a high 5! Atmosphere a 5 with gorgeous views of the Pacific. Also, the restaurant was full and we could have a nice quiet conversation. Service - a 5. Bruce was attentive, friendly, and knows what’s best. Food - from the hearty clam chowder, halibut tacos, halibut fish & chips AND the Marionberry crisp - all get a big thumbs up. We will be back!!!

This was my first time there. The food was amazing with friendly service. The place is clean and so are the restroom. It could be loud depending on where you sit but this has to do with how customers chitchat of course. We sat by the window and the view was breathing. Will definitely recommend 👌

I was really excited to try this place for the first time...I'm a big ribeye steak fan for a long time, and since I am from Texas also, I am a bit familiar with steak and bbq. While it looks really good on the picture, the taste goes the other way.... For an expensive 12oz. $47steak, this is a big dissapointment. it was rubbery and chewy, super thin and has no marbling in it for a medium cooked steak.... I really tried to like it since me and my wife already started eating. There is no taste at all, it's supposed to be juicy, tender and has a lot of flavor for the type of meat. I feel bad to say this, but i think they used "poor man's ribeye" (chuck eye steak), or a "low quality beef" instead of a real ribeye steak...The veggies and rice pilaf is also vey dry.... I think the simple steak at Golden Corral has better taste than this. We went to Szabo's the next day, and their charbroiled ribeye steak satisfied my cravings overall, and it's more cheaper by the way.

Service was fine, the staff are pleasant. Unfortunately I was given a piece plastic in my Caesar salad. This is disappointing as I usually love ordering from Georgie’s. Also, I could’ve choked so that is dangerous.

Stopped by today based on a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The clam chowder was spectacular (top 5) and very affordable. I selected the combo for lunch … soup, salad and garlic bread. I upgraded my soup from a cup to a bowl for a total of $16. You know you got good chowder when you have a clam in your first bite and a little sand. Great outdoor atmosphere. Indoor seating too.

I ate here as part of a larger group. We chose to sit outside and were seated right away. The atmosphere was good. Lots of room and busy but the noise wasn't to bad. Our server, Robyn, was on the ball and a good waitress. I ordered a Reuben and paid three dollars extra to sub a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was pretty good. Thick and hearty. The Reuben was a disappointment. There was very little meat or sour kraut on it and the meat itself was not tender. What the sandwich did have an abundance of was sauce. It wasn't a bad thousand island sauce but it seemed a little thin which caused it to seep into the bottom slice of bread and make it soggy. Subsequently, with very little meat or kraut, the sauce took front stage which is not what you want in a Reuben.

I was wondering how the reviews vary so wildly here, and now I know. Ate here Sunday and had and amazing experience: seated right away on the patio, our waitress, Caroline, was super friendly and attentive, our food was good. On the way out I noticed someone had the beef stroganoff and asked her about it, because I was surprised it was on the menu. She said it was so good that it was the fourth night in a row she had been there to get it. We went back Monday night and our waiter really didn't want to be there. He came across like we were an inconvenience. My husband loved his salmon, but whatever I got was not beef stroganoff. It looked nothing like beef stroganoff and looked nothing like what I saw the customer have the night before. It tastes ok, but did not taste like beef stroganoff. I wish I'd sent it back and ordered something else. Such a disappointing experience. If this had been my first experience on Sunday, we would never come back here. So, we would suggest the salmon here. The espresso martini and the cheesecake I had Sunday we're also amazing.

It was such a great experience at Finn’s fish house. Located on Broadway seaside in a very fun strip. Great menu selections, food was delicious and fresh, beautiful presentation, exciting ambiance as they offer indoor, outdoor and lounge seatings. The server we had was friendly but not very attentive, we couldn’t flag her down just to pay as we didn’t see her anywhere around. Overall, it was still a great experience

Always fantastic. Been here multiple times, staff and food are always great. The staff is always friendly, and more than willing to help out and answer questions. The food is excellent. We first visited late at night, just trying to find something to eat. It was so good we came back in the morning for breakfast. Highly recommend the nachos. Good amount of toppings and easily shareable. The first lit outside is very nice for keeping warm late a night when it starts getting colder. Very reasonably priced and worth checking out!

Fish tacos were so yummy. I'd pass on the beans and rice that are sides of the fish tacos. The Alfredo wasn't that good. The Alfredo Sauce did not taste housemade, but rather from a can. We would definitely like to come back and try other items on the menu. There were flies everywhere in the dining room. Which they do have the door open to the patio so I'm sure it's hard to prevent.

My husband and I had such a great experience here! It's our honeymoon trip to Seaside OR, and so we decided to stop here for one of our dinners. It was really nice and the food was excellent. We decided to sit outside and it felt great with the heaters, despite it being chilly. My husband got the dungeness crab and I ordered the shrimp alfredo fettuccine, both were VERY delicious. Our waiter was phenomenal, super friendly, and very attentive. If we had a longer stay, I'm sure we would most likely come again. Definitely worth the visit!

Arrived a little after 8 AM on a Sunday morning and we were seated immediately. This is your traditional, American breakfast with seafood options. I can say that the pancakes didn’t have that bitter taste and wasn’t too thick. If you’d like eggs Benedict, I recommend trying for one with Dungeness crab.

Atmosphere is great, you can talk and enjoy yourselves with the company you have or dine solo. They have lots of seating and the food is solid, you can't really go wrong. This is a popular breakfast restaurant on the coast. It has been around for about 20 years. The breakfast is consistently good however there is nothing exceptional about it. On the weekends this place gets ridiculously busy so plan ahead. There is a large parking lot. This is a family friendly restaurant.

Basically like Denny's, kind of a greasy spoon feel but cleaner. I splurged on the Dungeness crab omelette with Tillamook cheese. Plenty of real crab meat, so it was worth it. Not bad, needed salt, but I'd rather need to add salt than have it be too salty. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with delicious pancakes (I chose blueberry)! Service was good. Well lit and clean feeling.

We had the Eggs Benedict and the strawberry blintz. So yummy and fresh. Our waitress kept our water filled and was very friendly and attentive.

The food was good. I was disappointed that my potato pancakes were not mashed potatoes made into a pancake but instead hashbrowns fried crispy in a pancake shape with chives. Delicious but not what I was expecting. They were friendly, decently priced and the place was clean.

This place was hopping!! Staff were super friendly. I had roasted vegetable quiche with cheyre cheese-amazing!! My husband got a cinnamon roll, so delicious!! Don’t miss this place for breakfast!!!

Their coffee was enjoyable, the food okay. The portions were smaller than expected. I got 4 pieces of bacon for $6… a the “heaping bowl of potatoes” was not very full. We went on a bust Sunday morning All the severs were kind and helpful. Just a small and cramped space.

Great experience! The food is delicious and the portions are huge! You won't leave hungry. My husband had the 3 pound burger, and it was massive, delicious, and a fun order. I had the taco burrito and it was the same, large, delicious, and so much flavor in one plate. I absolutely give a 5 star recommend to this restaurant. Wait staff is awesome, and very attentive. Be sure to check out the decor, there is lots of cool pics. Sports are broadcast on a large television at the counter seating area.

I almost forgot to snap a photo because I dove right in — the food at Newport Cafe was that good! I ordered the 6oz steak and eggs, which came with perfectly seasoned red roasted potatoes and sourdough toast. The steak was cooked beautifully and honestly rivaled some high-end steakhouses. The eggs were spot on, and the potatoes weren’t dry at all — they had great flavor and texture. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and the vibe of the whole place was laid-back and welcoming. Looking around, every plate that came out of the kitchen looked amazing — generous portions and hearty meals all around. This is the kind of local spot you hope to find while traveling. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Newport!

Great food. The oyster sandwich was a 10. Kids ate every bite. Crispy crinkle fries are amazing. Calamari was a solid 7. A good dipping sauce would help. Flaky breading was perfect. Met the owner. Super nice. Also great tartar sauce!!

The breakfast was delicious! We were traveling through and loved the seafood breakfast options. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. We ate here twice on our adventures in the area. Coffee was good and hot. Our servers were happy and kept the coffee full! Will totally eat here again.

First time to visit and we had a wonderful lunch. Food above 5 stars, Service was terrific, cool funky space felt like friends. We both ordered from the senior menu and there was plenty of great food. I ordered Halibut and chips and a bowl of chowder which was a terrific portion and great food.

Easily one of the best burgers I have had, I got the jalapeno burger. Their portions are huge, it was clean and a good atmosphere. It was pretty busy for being a Monday too, the waiter was calm and patient even during a chaotic rush.

This is a cute little restaurant in the middle of town I would recommend for a great meal! The food is fresh, fast, and made to order perfectly to your liking. I had the the Swiss mushroom burger and i definitely recommend it! Melt in your mouth goodness. The salad was a nice touch, with healthy ingredients (not the cheap iceburg lettuce passed at most places as a salad) The restaurant was very clean, and had beautiful stained glass windows that added to the comfortable and charming decor. Our waiter went above and beyond , and adjusted my order with perfect accuracy. The wait staff made for a wonderful experience. They only accept cash or check, but there is an atm for travelers with a small $2.50 fee. We would definitely eat here again.

Food = DELICIOUSNESS! Perfect hash browns. Perfect appetizers. Bacon and sausage links were amazing. The biscuits and gravy were a bit lacking. Gravy didn’t have flavor and the biscuits were a bit hard, but the service was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive without being overly attentive. We will for sure come again.

This is one of those cafes that you dream about visiting again! Cozy and clean, amazing food and top notch service! I had the croissant French toast with chesterberry compote (had never heard of that berry before and was pleasantly surprised) and my daughter had the stuffed hashbrowns. Our server was great!

My favorite waffle on earth! I came with my dad and grandpa about a year ago and had to come back. I got a waffle with bacon inside it and it was phenomenal. Also, the service was great. We got seated quickly. Lastly, the atmosphere was really cool. Really authentic and welcoming.

We decided to visit Florence on a whim. So relaxing and lots to do when we felt like it. We came to this restaurant out of my love of chickens and with the name it was definitely on my list. I’m so glad we came in. Friendly service and very clean. Prompt on the drinks and not much longer we had our food. Let me just say that the Eggs Benedict with crab was devine! I mean DEVINE! I love seafood and have had crab Benedict before but not like this place! The hollandaise sauce was excellent crab so very fresh and a good amount. We will be back for sure! Friendly, funky, and humble breakfast and lunch place. This is not where you take your fussy friend. This is where you take your fun friend. Counter order and retrieve your food, but both indoor and outdoor seating. It got pretty busy and figuring out where the line started/ended got a little confusing. But everyone was good humored and we loved it. Portions were generous.

This is a fun quirky place. We randomly found it on Maps and decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed at all! 🥹 The place is hip and you can spend a lot of time here as each table has fun games (mostly taro cards, spell books, witchcraft and magic). Their selection of teas and herbs for sale is large and I got a few blends to try myself. The menu has a large vegan and vegetarian option that I loved. I got chorizo breakfast wrap and my friend got an egg and bacon sandwich. 10/10 for both However, the drinks were 🔥. I got the summer special ‘John and Yoko’ and it 10/10. My friend got the Pacific glow smoothie and it was 12/10. 💯 recommend to try this. Vibe 9/10 Food 10/10 Drinks 12/10 🎉 Cost $$ I would love to come back and try their hot cocoa next time. Highly recommend this place 🫶

Haven't had their coffee, only tea lattes. Can say these are the best tea (or maybe lattes period) lattes I've ever had. This is now my gold standard coffee shop. You absolutely have to stop in. Cashier was hilarious and fabulous as well!! Really loved this place

I would have given this place five stars except for an employee who was rude to my senior mom. We were excited to try the Green Salmon while on a family trip. The cashier was sweet, and all was well until a strangely aggressive woman brought our order out. Since there were a lot of people standing around, my mom simply asked, "Are these for me?" to make sure she wasn't taking another person's order. In the loudest, most sarcastic tone imaginable, the woman gave my mom a contemptuous look and replied, "Oh, YES, they're for YOU! They're for YOU!!" I have no idea why she did this or why she thought it needed to be repeated twice, but it made me sad because my mom just looked startled and confused. I then said, "Mom, they're for YOU, for YOU!" to try and lighten things up, and my mom said, "I don't get why she said that." I said I didn't either. The place is cute, and the coffee is good. But the woman who makes and brings the coffee out has issues. I suggest that she treat people with respect in the future. You never know what someone else is going through, and my mom didn't do anything wrong at all. I don't think I'll be bringing my family back here again.

A very unique and cozy place. The menu is all vegetarian. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Their lemonade is delicious on a hot day. We went a couple times during our weekend in Yachats. We had the breakfast scramble once, and the Cauliflower tacos and Sacred Cow Reuben the second time. They have delicious coffee drinks and fruit smoothies. The staff id friendly and accommodating.

Another vacation to the coast means another delicious lunch at The Chalet. I have yet to find another restaurant with as fresh of salads as The Chalet. Add a fresh pulled turkey sandwich, and a pice of fresh strawberry pie and you have a yummy and healthy lunch. We are customers for life.

The sandwich was okay. Nothing to write hope about but DEFINITELY not worthwhile the $17 I paid for a half grilled cheese, cup of soup. It did include a slice of pie that I had them package to go. Got in my car and within 10 minutes opened to eat my lemon meringue. Please see attached photos. What I found upon opening was not even a glop. It was like they put the lemon meringue in the microwave and then gave it to me. How does this even happen? I've never seen this happen, ever. I put my fork into the meringue and it crumbled 🤔😱😡. Save yourself and go to McDonalds. I'm not kidding. Also, it was 65 degrees today. This had nothing to do the weather, especially since I opened it 10 min after getting it.

Really like this place. They have a lot of great baked goods here. I usually get the fish and chips and a piece of pie.the halibut fish and chips is pretty great.

Today I had breakfast at the Chalet restaurant. It was exceptional! Had your basic bacon and eggs breakfast plus the optional blueberry coffee cake. Even the coffee was excellent. Our wait person was also very attentive, efficient, and friendly. Can’t wait to go back! Ted Briggs

We love this place. Every time we go to the coast we try different things and I find I am always comparing them to this place. And usually no place matches up. Great Gluten free options and when you look at the price of food everywhere they are consistently priced.

Amazing pancakes and Belgian waffle!! I had the Hazelnut Blueberry Pancakes and my hubby had the Golden Brown Waffle. Both were so delicious!! We loved it so much, we came back the next day! I'm a creature of habit and ordered the same Hazelnut Blueberry Pancakes. Hubby ordered the Country Steak and Buttermilk Pancakes. Delicious, delicious, delicious!!!

This place is great, every time we come to the Oregon coast we have a great meal here. Nothing on the menu is a disappointment and having Megan as a server is an added treat. We have been coming here for 12 years and have never been disappointed.

We visited the Redwood NPS, was looking for a good breakfast spot around the area, and came across this place. The food was good, comforting. It was also the first time I tried crepes, and it did not disappoint. 😊

I had the sourdough toasted bacon Blackberry Bacon Swiss jalapeño Sandwich and it was good. Tater tots were nicely cooked, crunchy, but bland. Husband had the Eggs Benedict and will not be ordering that again. It was a nice place with a nice atmosphere and the servers were friendly and smiling.

Food was delicious! We had pancakes, omelette, eggs Benedict with pancakes.. very yummy, good portions. I loved the environment between the employees, they were laughing and joking with each other. Coffee was also delicious! Very attentive waitresses

Every time I come to Brookings, I make it a point to stop here for breakfast. The employees are so much fun, the food and drinks are awesome. You may have to wait for a seat for a short time, but then again, isn’t that a “tell” of a great place? 👍😍🙌

Perfect for a pre merge from "mom and pop's" style restaurant into a well known, hip, relaxed environment to get to know someone special, or just talk about the grass growing in the front yard. The menu is very versatile with an abundance of choices, as well as a great amount of variations in which to choose to collaborate into any meal. I'm a humble yet avid supporter of this type of business. They are moving with the times, not stuck in the past with only the ancient styles of foods. 10/10 for Mattie's!

The Monte Cristo was incredible. Our server kept track of 10 orders without missing a beat. If I ever find myself in Brookings, I’ll be coming back for sure.

Fifties atmosphere. Family friendly. The only place that serves meals in the whole area except for a couple of Mexican restaurants. The menu is great the prices are VERY reasonable and the service is amazing 🤩 BAR NONE THE BEST WAITRESSES SINCE THE SIXTIES!!! The waitress was super busy but never let our coffee cups go dry, the food was good and warm and delivered in a timely manner. She is wonderful. The cook is outstanding. I can't say enough great things about this place

Darling, wooded, cozy coffee house in downtown Cannon Beach. The coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly, and atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and comfortable. The seating is limited with three tables and two sets of club chairs with side tables, but we’ve been here several times and were able to grab a table each time.

Go here everyday while we were visiting cannon beach! We love it. Great coffee! We had their coffee cake and it was delicious. If you like chocolate definitely get the chocolate whip cream on top of your coffee!

I had the cinnamon and cardamom latte, which was everything you might imagine. I also had a salted chocolate cookies, which was ok. I would definitely recommend stopping in! The space was cute and had a nice vibe. Plenty of people milling about and taking in the scenery as well.

Such a morning vibe, friendly staff, and the baked goods are a fat girls dream. The matcha actually tastes like it should, and they have plenty of milk choices. Although they were busy, our drinks came out quickly. They also keep treats for our fur babies available and the outdoor seating is nice.

A must-do while in Cannon Beach! The coffee was great, food was tasty, staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was great. We got here early on a Tuesday morning, it was pretty busy but service was quick. The caramel latte was great, and so was the cheddar biscuit.

The coffee and view was incredible. We got coconut and honey lattes and they were the star of the show. The only reason why I can’t give this place a 5 star review is because we got a quiche that was both soggy, watery and cold. I’m not sure if it was forgotten about but it was pretty rough to eat. Get the coffee here, go and eat somewhere else.

I last visited 4 years ago in 2017 amd the food was great. This is my third visit, and i unfortunately im 2021 the food quality has gone down quite a bit. I got the clams and onion rings, my wife got the fish and chips (cod) which we both got in 2017. The fries were weird tasting, the onion rings and fish were soggy and greasy. The fried clams were just like the ones from Skippers, but kept a little too long in the fryer. The garlic toast was good, but the slaw was so-so. Kind or a let down on my anniversary. Maybe COVID caught up with Lil Sambo? It's a nice family-friendly restaurant (no alcohol whatsoever served here, which is rare and nice). Good portions of food for a great value. They serve breakfast all day too. I'll probably get breakfast next time.

If you enjoy good food with a fun atmosphere and friendly staff this is the place for you! I noticed some of the reviews weren’t so great but that wasn’t my experience at all. For me the timing worked perfectly! I was able to order food, check out the fun gift shop/atmosphere and when I was done I had a very short wait for my food and it was delicious!! I’m a major breakfast fan so I eat that almost everywhere but the bacon here is probably the best I’ve ever had (sorry mom 🤷‍♀️) I say check it out👌 *no filter on the photos #sorrynotsorry

Amazing food, priced right, large portions, outstanding taste! Great service with friendly staff who don't just do the bare minimum... our waitress today was really kind and always made sure we had what we needed. Restaurant ambience: The inside looks really awesome! They have a really cool store/gift shop. There are so many things to look at/buy! These items are all very versatile! Ranging from antiques, to hand made crafts, to souvenirs, and to the newest coolest trending items that kids flip for! Can't wait to come back and visit Lincoln city again so I can come back here and try something else from the menu! (And purchase another handmade treasure!) The plan was to go to Pig N Pancake. Instead, I made a legal U-turn to come eat here instead. So glad to have made that decision! Come here and eat! This place is neat!

This place gets a 5 star, hands down, one of the most unique (And delicious) restaurants that we have ever been too. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and no syrup needed. Though, the syrup is homemade and therefore it makes the pancakes even more tasty. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. There was enough food to feed an army (or so it felt like). We left satisfied and happy... and now I am the grandest tiger in all of the jungle.

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but it is one of only few places in Lincoln City that offers a large selection of breakfast dishes. It is great for kids especially with gift shop full of kid stuff. Portion sizes are large here as well so you will get your money's worth.

Our breakfast this morning at Lil Sambo's was AMAZING! I don't think I've ever seen french toast so thick. My eggs Benedict was HUGE, and delicious and the service was wonderful. This is exactly the kind of vacation food we were looking for.

Forget the spot up the road! This is the best place in town for breakfast! It wasn't crowded, the employees were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food.....oh my, the food! They don't mess around! You want a meat lover's omelet? The ham, bacon, and sausage is plump and juicy! You want stuffed French toast? Prepare to get STUFFED! I could say a bunch more nice things and it still wouldn't be enough! A+ quality and service! Get a picture with Bigfoot while you're here! ;)

The service was great; the waitress was attentive, and the food arrived quickly and was hot. I ordered my eggs over medium. They were close enough to be acceptable. The hash browns were perfectly done, crisp outside, inside fluffy and cooked through. For those of you who may follow me, you may have noticed I like chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak here was tough, in my opinion. I was told they actually make their own steaks for this, so I don't understand why it was tough. But other than that, it wasn't bad. There are other places in Newport, though, that I would recommend for chicken fried steak before Pig'N Pancake. The sausage gravy was excellent. I was advised that this restaurant makes everything, except their bread, from scratch, including their cinnamon rolls . That is a real selling point for me. I can just imagine how good their biscuits and gravy are.

Great food, I specifically came in for crepes. Love the Strawberry ones with Banana added. The server was great, he had no issue with customizing my order a Lil bit. Thanks for The Great service, so yummy! I just wish they were open later then 3pm.

So, so good! Amazing food and perfect portion sizes. My husband and I had brunch here before hiking the St. Perpetua Trail, and boy was it helpful!

Talk about run of the mill, nothing was bad but none of the regular food was good. We got the western omelet with pancakes, the kielbasa skillet and a cinnamon roll. The skillet tasted like bland gravy, the omelette had raw veggies nothing was cooked besides the eggs. The cinnamon roll was the only thing that was tasty.

Ask for Araceli… she made sure we got our delicious Pig ‘N Pancakes to our liking!! Two great locations on the coast and always delicious!!!

It felt like we were ignored. Sat down, asked about coffee, nothing else, just there and gone as quick as possible and not giving us much time to ask anything. I get being busy, but with how many workers they have, they can take a min to let their customers ask for things. Couldn't even check on us. We ordered our drinks when we ordered our food, we were almost done with our food and had to ask for our drinks a second time. Not a bad place, but, servers could be nicer and check on their customers.

The food, service and staff are fantastic. We had the crab Benedict and it did not disappoint. The sourdough pancakes with butter and the marionberry syrup was the highlight for us. The eggs were cooked to order perfectly and the bacon was crispy and not greasy. Our server Zoe was fantastic in making sure we had everything we needed, was friendly, personable and helpful in providing tips on things to do in the area on our trip.

Great food, great service. Inside is small so get there early. Service is quick though so don’t get discouraged. Worth the visit !! We were only in town for 2 days and ate here both days. A line forms out front before opening. Extra seating outside if you don’t make the inside (Only holds about 15-20 inside). Benedict was very good, home fries are Delicious. Bloody Mary was very good. Highly recommended.

A Delicious Lunch and Wonderful Service! We had lunch at the Osprey Cafe on August 10 and absolutely loved it. We ordered two Eggs Benedict and a kids' breakfast wrap — everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Well worth the visit! Our server, Michelle, was super nice and friendly, making the experience even better. We even had the pleasure of meeting her son, who was equally as kind and welcoming. Great food and genuinely warm service — we’ll definitely be back!

This place was BUSY during 4th of July breakfast but we were seated promptly. The inlet I got was probably one of the most delicious omelets I have ever had. I had a garden omelet with bacon. Breakfast potatoes were alright … for some reason with my omelet I had way less of them than my husband with his eggs Benedict. Grapefruit juice was very good tasted fresh squeezed. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. It did take a very long time for our food to arrive but the place was very busy and the server did mention that the wait for food was a bit longer.

Probably one of the best breakfast I have had in a long time. We had the smoked salmon scramble, crab Benedict, avocado toast, coffees and Bloody Marys. The potatoes are amazing. Absolutely recommend this place.

Whenever my husband and I stay in Seaside we make it a point to stop by here in the morning for breakfast. The staff is always courteous and friendly, and your wait is dependent on what time you get there as it’s a very popular spot with limited indoor seating. Their specials are always delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I would also highly recommend trying their arepas as they are fantastic.

My husband, son, and dog came here yesterday for breakfast and HOLY SMOKES the breakfast burrito!!! I’ve never had such an incredible breakfast burrito!! They crisp these potatoes and put in a lot of egg and the perfect amount of crisp bacon and a couple other things, and then they pan fry it a bit. You then dip it in this super flavorful salsa. Man alive, just thinking about it makes me salivate! Next time I’m in Seaside I MUST go back for that to-die-for breakfast burrito!! The service was also super friendly and they had bowls of water for my dog. They had some low key, low volume 80s music playing from the kitchen that came out through the window giving it a really happy and relaxing vibe. You are down the street from the beach so you have the salty air. Perfect perfect beach breakfast experience. LOVE!!

I’ve come here a couple of times over the years and they were really great both times. My bf and I both had the French toast breakfast most recently and it was so delicious! Our waitress was attentive and sweet. The tables are tad close together but it’s a small space so it’s to be expected. They can get quite busy but I get why, the food is great!

we were in town for a wedding and everyone told us to try this place. it’s a very small, but cozy environment. if you’re lucky, you’ll get a spot after about a 10-20 minute wait. this place is always busy and for good reason! it was so good, we came back for all 3 mornings we were there. the bacon was thick and delicious, the sausage was very tasty, the pancakes were fluffy and moist, the omelettes were generously filled, and the portions were huge with reasonable pricing. sadly i don’t think we will be back to this town so it was kind of a one and done trip, but i’d highly recommend this place to anyone! bonus: our server Cathleen was the nicest server i’ve ever met in my entire life.

First time here. Very good food. Portions were bigger than anticipated. If I would've known wife and I would had ordered only 1 plate and shared. I had the shrimp omelette. Heavenly but to big.

The food was good and well prepared, but unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the meal. The coffee was burned, and we had to wait over 30 minutes for both our table and food. The staff rarely checked on us, and there were no offers for a coffee refill or to see if we needed anything else. With some attention to service and consistency, this place could truly stand out.

Came in to have some famous pancakes! Walked in and the place is packed and popping!!! Today I ordered: 3 Dollar Gluten Free Pancakes Meatless Gravy Seasonal Fruit The pancakes are fluffy and flavorful perfectly cooked. I dipped some pancake in the gravy and it was phenomenal!!! I also tried the pancakes with original maple syrup Blueberry Strawberry The gravy is perfect!!!! Thick creamy with vegan meat!!! I have never had vegan gravy that tasted this great!!!! A delicious gem! Everything my family had was great - the garden omelette, the apple cinnamon pancakes, the hash browns, strawberry croissant french toast, etc. Highly recommend this place! Another bonus: it's a family-owned restaurant! A stand-alone, not a chain. We got a slice of homemade blackberry pie to go, and it was out of this world! Like the very best pie your grandma could ever make. 🥧 We had a busy toddler with us and the hostess was very gracious with her, and even got her a little bowl of whipped cream and chocolate chips with our permission. Wish we lived closer because we would go there often. When we're back in Oregon we will come again!

I got the house breakfast with breaded chicken and scrambled eggs. Service was amazing always checking on us and the food came out in less than 10 minutes! The portion to price ratio was perfect the plates were huge! Definitely coming back again!

Ordered late breakfast around noon for takeout. I ordered the omelette with toast. They even substituted my potatoes with a pancake! The pancake was very good. The omelette was decent, a bit oily and the veggies were a bit burnt. My wife got the French toast which she said was good too.

Such a tasty and fun place to eat! A bit loud, but that’s because everyone wants to be here. We got to sit up in the crows nest, my kids loved it! We got the most popular gravy & biscuits, best we’ve ever had.

Wonderful place. The service was pleasant and attentive. The food was amazing, the corn flake with almond French toast is my new favorite breakfast treat. The kitchen staff is expedient to say the least, I was surprised when my food showed up so quick. Highly recommend this location, well done.

Nelscott Breakfast House is the definition of fine… but not five-star fine. The food was a mixed bag — some bites were solid, others felt like they came from the “eh” section of the menu. It’s like the kitchen was flipping a coin before each plate: heads, delicious; tails, just okay. For what they charge, I expected something a little more memorable. Instead, it was 3-star food with 5-star prices, like buying a luxury car and realizing it’s just a nice tricycle with leather seats. The space itself is cozy — and by cozy, I mean if someone sneezes at the next table, you’re in the splash zone. Not a ton of variety on the menu either, so if you’re looking for options, don’t get your hopes up. Final verdict: 3 stars. Not terrible, not amazing — just kind of… there. If they added more variety and gave the prices a reality check, it could easily be a great spot.

(Edit) I overlooked all the delicious food due to being disappointed by the two solid yolks. The Benedict was so tasty, and although the eggs were solid everything else was perfect. The hash browns were crispy and delicious, and the meat was so tasty. The water had lemon In it which made it taste weird, but when I asked they gave me fresh unflavored water. Super good service and kind people all around. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing.

Ordered the cinnamon roll, it was hard not soft, very doughy tasting and the frosting was tangy. My 8 year old sons eggs where raw and his biscuit was under cooked he loves food and wouldn’t eat any of it. The eggs Benedict was bland and over salted. Overall a horrible experience and will not be back The waitress was also not friendly.

Today we ate at the hill top cafe. We ordered at the counter and tipped 20%. Then…..we got our meal. Smart of them to make you pay first. Beware..tip after you get served food and how the server treats you. We got our two meals. Everything was good except the potatoes. They were COLD , and CHEWY and had burnt pieces of probably onion that tasted of old grease. When I asked the server how long they had been cooked she said they were in the steam table and walked away with no acknowledgement or apology or offer of new ones. I then asked if I could have a plate to take them off our plate. She gave us one and promptly walked away and we were ignored after that. The potatoes were never removed and neither were our empty plates. Sure we wait on ourselves for coffee…but why ignore us because we were not happy with the potato’s? We paid enough for the food and the tip. I was a waitress for 15 years and a cook for 5 in the same place. We were taught to make our customers happy and be quick to make things right and especially be nice and apologize. Needless to say..how we were treated was more upsetting the. The nasty potatoes. With all this being said, we will not be back. But don’t tip until after you have had your dining experience. Very disappointing. We ate here in 2024and we were very happy with the food. We know there are always mistake and that is ok. But make it right instead of acting like we are no good customers that have no right to complain.

My wife and I stopped by this summer and we really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is attractive with a diverse menu. The ahi tuna wrap was filled with seared tuna and greens in a sweet teriyaki sauce that was not overpowering. My only complaint was that it was a little messy to eat. The vibe was relaxed and neighborhoody. They get very busy on the weekends so plan ahead but this is easily the best food in Waldport. We will be back.

Good service and food came out in good time. I really enjoyed the biscuit gravy, and the locally made sourdough was amazing. Definitely worth the breakfast stop on the way out of town

We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked into this place! Staff was attentive and kind. We enjoyed a cup of clam chowder. The Mac and cheese needed a bit more cheese/cheese sauce in our opinion. The crab melt was absolutely amazing!! We left full and happy! If we’re traveling through we would absolutely stop here again!

My husband and I loved this place. It’s not touristy. I got the crab cake sandwich on sourdough. The potato salad was good, too.

Stopped in here on our way home from Yachats. The reviews are good for a reason. I appreciate how they have you order at the front and then go find your table. Food was brought to us quick and refills on our coffee were served. We shared a breakfast burrito and Denver omelet. HUGE portions. Sausage in the burrito was delicious. The potatoes were cooked with onions and spices. Perfect crisp to every bite. We can't wait to stop in some afternoon for a burger and beer.

Stopped here while staying farther down the coast, they had a lovely little covered waiting area with drip coffee while we waited for a table to open up it was really relaxing. The little store/bakery portion is cute and all the baked goods looked amazing. We had a wonderful breakfast potato/sausage gravy creation that was delicious. The servers were very nice! Will come again!

Excellent food and service! They accommodated my dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free) and I did not have any reactions. The chicken on my cobb salad was juicy and my husband had a great garden burger. Plus, he had a triple chunk ginger cookie that was perfectly soft, chewy and spiced with three types of ginger! When in town we'll definitely stop by for more cookies at a minimum.

We stopped here on our way out of town and we loved it! There was a short wait outside, which was under their beautiful patio with complimentary coffee. We were sat promptly and service was great! Our food arrived very quick and the cinnamon roll was huge! Very delicious and will be back!

Very beautiful, calming, and enjoyable food and atmosphere. We loved this little gem on the trip towards the coast! We got the cinnamon rolls and had them heated and cut! It was such a warm spirited team who cared about the customer experience! The lines can get long because this is an amazing place! They can serve food sit-down which can have a wait but the café and pastry shop is open without a line. They sells lots of different types of coffees, cakes, cookies, rolls, breads, etc. It was Ana amazing place!

This restaurant is such a little whimsical gem along the oregon coast!! It has an amazing menu and delicious baked goods. They typically have a wait but have built a cozy front patio with firepits and free coffee for people while they wait for their table. I would eat here again and again!

We had a great experience here! Stopped in for baked goods and were blown away by the variety and freshness. Everything we tried (about six different items) was absolutely delicious. Great place to grab a meal! A true family restaurant with great food. We ate Marionberry French Toast, Biscuits and Gravy, and Fish and Chips. With seating outside we were able to bring our dog with us. We will definitely come back when we visit Newport again.

This was a good breakfast option for my stay in southern Newport. Food was excellent, but service not very attentive. Prices have risen to match others in the area. I would come again, the stuffed french toast is amazing!

We stopped in here for lunch on a busy Saturday about 1:30. The wait was minimal and the service awesome. Everyone in the party reported their food was great. I had the pastrami on sourdough. The bread is made in-house and you can tell. Soup was chicken and dumpling and also great. We'll definitely be back.

Cute little diner off the main path. Had to come here to try the famous marionberry French toast. The marionberry sauce was like a cobbler and absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and full of berry flavor. My only ask is that the bread be soaked longer in the batter. Or soaked before doing the cream cheese. The inside was just bread, and not the custardy French toast I was hoping for.

When I think of local restaurant and local flare, I'm thinking this type of restaurant. The interior is eclectic with its decorations. Alaina (sp?) was our server and she was so personable and a compliment to the restaurant. Plus she's a great singer! We asked if we could try their chowder as we had heard it was just made for today. This was by far the top 5 taste-wise and beats the commercial restaurants. They won the Feb people's choice award in the chowder competition. It's creamy, full of tender clams, right amount of seasoning to complement. Top 1 or 2 we've ever tried! Cinnamon roll was tender, heavy on cinnamon (which we love), frosting was sweet but not too much. Westside scrabbler with spinach and sausage and homemade red potatoes - potatoes were hand cut, seasoned perfect, omelet was tender - delicious food! Oyster breakfast, oysters were large, tender and flavorful. Hand shredded potatoes for hashbrowns. Marionberry jam was perfectly tart and sweet. Yum! We loved the cloth napkins that added to the atmosphere. This is probably a place cherished by locals, but definitely should be on your list of places if looking for honest, delicious, local food.

10 min waiting not even acknowledging we were there finally got a table ordered and 45 min. Later finally got our breakfast. The marionberry French toast was good. But the bread tasted stale.some sections of it, I couldn't even cut thru. My husband's pancakes were overcooked but still eat able. Very dry. And his cinnamon roll was huge..and also very dry.

A terrific place for an enjoyable breakfast as we were motorcycling through the area (Sept 2025). Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable place. Easy parking. We'll be back for another breakfast or maybe try out a lunch there.

First time here, and it's a cool looking spot. The owners set you down with a smile and told me the specials. The waitress was not too far behind taking our orders. The place looked clean and had plenty of areas to sit in.I had the fish and chips, which were very good. I've been trying all the places in town that sells fish and Chips and they have been good and different from each other. Will be back to try the breakfast menu.

It is, by far and hands down, our favorite place to eat breakfast along the Oregon Coast! We immediately felt welcome as we were greeted and quickly seated by the bubbly, super friendly, and adorable Owner! Listening to our favorite 80’s music coming from the kitchen we enjoyed observing the comings and goings of the regulars to the out-of-towners and thoroughly enjoyed our freshly brewed coffee, waffle, and biscuits & gravy+! We were well taken care of and our coffee was always full! Loved learning a bit about the history of the Cafe and the kind parting conversation we had! I found Double Ds when looking up a place yo have a classic breakfast, and I am a sucker for double entendre. The staff was on top of everything, friendly, and my plate was to me in less than 10 minutes. The bacon was cooked just right so it wasnt floppy nor burnt, the hashbrowns were delicious, and the gravy was fluffy and not heavy on Tuesday flour or starch! I will definitely be popping back when I return to the area.

Very authentic american breakfast. Loved the coffee and food. The ambience was nice and they had a wall to mark pins for the part of the world where you are from. Had a nice meal with pan cakes, hash browns, eggs and toast.

We had a great birthday brunch with homemade biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, hash browns and eggs. The biscuits are huge and the chicken fried steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Excellent service which included a huge cinnamon roll with candles in it and a birthday song sung by our kind and funny server. They bake a bunch of their sweets in house. The club house sandwich looks very good. Next time we’ll try it. Two tables told us we’ll love the food and that we’ll be stuffed. I’m still full three hours later. Recommended!!

The kids breakfast we good and they were really stoked about the huge pancakes. The club sandwich was fine, but the fish and chips were super disappointing. The chicken fried fish was chewing and really put me off. The fries were also both burnt and undercooked. The service is pretty slow, but it was pretty busy, so just plan for a bit of a wait.

Unique little coastal diner with great food, entertaining atmosphere (family owned and often discuss things publicly along with all the great signs on the wall make for an entertaining and family feel). Portions are huge, favs are the #8, #4 and the specials they run. Oh and can’t forget the bakery! Unique cinnamon roll ideas, coffee cakes, cookies and brownies 🤤. Great stop and open 7 days a week!

Friendly, welcoming staff!! It’s a go to breakfast spot in Rockaway with typical diner style food. Pancakes are gigantic and delicious. Breakfast sandwich was clumsy but very good. Booths are not very comfortable. I’m only 5’ tall and felt like a larger person would not fit well. But, they do have tables as well.

It took over an hour to receive our food. Then, my one piece of fish was so over cooked it was jerky on the inside (fish & chips). EDIT to answer owner questions: Sunday, September 21st at 11:30. The flow of patrons was steady but there was not a wait for seating. Our coffees were refilled once in the entire seating. We waited & waited. We saw who was seated before us & when their orders arrived. Orders were coming out in the order they were taken but one table at a time. One total table at a time. I don't know, but it was odd. It might have been a new cook who couldn't multi task. It might have been an off day. It might have been a staffing issue. But, when the food arrived yucky ... I wasn't going to complain. What were they going to do, remake it? Take another hour for our table? Push back ALLLL the other tables after us? We nibbled on what we could, paid, & left. I don't make it a practice to leave negative things (and I leave a lot of reviews!) But I don't sugar coat my reviews either. We can only do better with constructive input. Good luck.

We were staying in an AirBnB in Rockaway Beach. I was able to walk to the main street where the businesses are. I went to Grumpy's Cafe to get 10 breakfast plates to go. I gave them time to make them and for everyone to wake up. Sausage or bacon with eggs,hashbrowns and toast. $16.50. They were very accommodating, labeled everything and supplied condiments needed for breakfast. (Jellies, butter, plastic utensils) In my opinion above and beyond. The have baked goods also, donuts, banana bread, cookies. Not a large place but very homey. If you're in the area it's a very good place.

Rainy day in Rockaway and my daughter and I were hungry. I love breakfast and she loves a good burger. GRUMPYS filled the bill and was close to our hotel. We were immediately greeted and given menus. I ordered the #7 (biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs, hash browns, and 2 meats) and my daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The order came quickly and it was hot. Everything was delicious! We had heard a few people comment on the cinnamon rolls. We took a peek in the dessert case and they not only looked delicious, they were huge! We ordered 3 of those to go to enjoy later in the night. I was happy with the whole experience and the staff was great. GRUMPYS Cafe is a must during your stay or if you’re just passing thru Rockaway Beach!

This place was highly rated, so we were surprised that I didn’t quite hit the mark. It was a full 20 minutes before anyone took our order— our waitress was nice but the rest of the staff we interacted with didn’t seem particularly thrilled to be there. Food was alright, and the price was right. Maybe we came in on an off day, but they didn’t seem to be firing on all cylinders when we ate here.

I got there early so I was sat quickly. They put out big portions so if you’re hungry this is the place! I ordered the chicken fried steak hash browns 2 eggs over easy, with a side of Biscuits and Gravy. I was a tad disappointed in the chicken fried steak being it was frozen and not homemade, the hash browns came out nice and crispy and the eggs perfectly cooked. The biscuits were nice and soft and the gravy was good. I enjoyed my breakfast and was full as a tick when I was done. It was a good thing I went hiking after that and did not go back to my room and take a nap like I wanted to do after all that food! This was my second time there and I’m still a fan. I’ll be back.

Best Reuben I’ve Ever Had – Hands Down! I just had the Reuben at Indian Creek Café and I’m honestly still thinking about it. This sandwich was next level – piled high with perfectly cooked, flavorful meat, melty cheese, and the perfect balance of tangy and savory. Every bite was pure bliss. And don’t even get me started on the sweet potato fries… crispy, golden, and totally addictive. This place is a hidden gem and I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re anywhere near here, do yourself a favor and try the Reuben – it’s worth the trip!

We were all super happy we stayed here for breakfast. Plenty of great options for food at reasonable prices. Coffee was good too. We felt refreshed and ready to continue our road trip. Would definitely recommend a stop here.

This was our second visit to Indian Creek Cafe. We were staying next door at Rogue River Landing both times, and had breakfast at Indian Creek Cafe because we had heard great things from friends. On our first visit a few months ago, we had an enjoyable experience. This time however, we were treated by the staff poorly. We were expecting a friend to join us, making a party of three, and were told that we couldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. Despite the restaurant being only a quarter, or at best one third full, they were insistent. When I questioned the policy, a customer nearby started laughing. We both felt unwelcome, and decided to go elsewhere where we wouldn't feel guilty taking up space. We went to Double Ds right down the street and had a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Great service too! From now on, we'll recommend Double D's instead of Indian Creek.

Delicious food. The staff is happy and their service is impeccable. We love their breakfasts. Sometimes we stop there just to get a yummy hot chocolate and great decaf coffee. They do close early. They always seem to be busy.

Great little coffee shop! Literally the cutest. Coffee was great (Beandonian), biscuits & gravy was great, and my hubby enjoyed his hot breakfast sandwich. You can tell it's the place to go with all the locals coming and calling orders in. The staff was friendly and kept their cool despite the occasional busy periods. Would definitely be my go-to if I lived here!

Cookies- the chocolate chip was good not great. Decent flavor but nothing amazing. Pretty neutral. The oatmeal peanut butter m&m cookie was great. Good flavor, great texture. Would get again. Biscuits - good biscuits. Not overly dry with a good flavor. Not amazing, but I'd get again.

AMAZING food and coffee! However, I ordered a rise and shine which is supposed to have tomato & avocado. I only received ham and cheese but decided it was fine and I wasn’t going to say anything. I went back a 2nd time for a 2nd cup of coffee. I wanted a white sugar free mocha 12oz, $4.25. It rang as $5.25. I asked the girl why and she said she didn’t know. I said well it’s advertised as $4.25, she said it was ringing as $5.25. She then got a manager and manager said it’s ringing up as that and they need to update their sign. I said there should at least be a sign saying the prices are higher until you do update it. It’s not about the $1.00 but more so the principal and the lack of customer service. There was nothing she would do. I paid $5.25 and mentioned that when I came earlier, my sandwich didn’t have tomato or avocado. She said “thanks for your feedback”. I guess I was looking more for an apology for the 2 negative experiences back to back. Food and coffee were great though.

Great “coffee” spot just as you enter the Old Downtown Brandon. We stopped here each of our 3 days in Brandon. Tables inside and also outside, so it’s dog friendly. Lots of coffee/tea options. I’m a picky chai tea drinker and it was great. I’m also all about sweet things. Loved the cinnamon rolls and the cookies, especially the Cranberry Orange cookie. OMG… it was soft & bursting with flavors. The bagel sandwiches that our neighbors had looked delicious.

It's pretty decent. The coffee isn't great, but they do have lots of variety and seasonal drinks. The service was alright, seemed like the people didn't like their jobs. The atmosphere is nice, it seems like a nice place to hang out and chat with some friends, plus there's lots of cool local art. The pastries are pretty good!

Take you back to the 60's, this little diner/restaurant has delightful old diner look and feel. Generous portions and the gravy is fantastic. I had the chicken fried omelet, unique and very tasty. On the way through Bandon, didn't pass up a great breakfast here.

A nostalgic, retro-themed dining experience visited by both tourists and locals alike. If you're looking for classic Americana food, this is the place to go. Highlights include fluffy hashbrowns, platter-sized pancakes, thick-cut bacon (extra crispy upon request), and made-to-order eggs that were cooked perfectly. They also offered marionberry syrup which will delight any traveler trying to experience the best of Oregon. Overall, a very yummy experience and we wish we could go back for a burger and old-fashioned milkshake.

Holy Fish and Chips and Batman!! The crunch on those 5 generous filets was phenomenal. Nothing like a perfect basket of fried fish before visiting the sea. It’s the next day and my mouth is watering just thinking about them again. I really wanted to try the breakfast, but I’m so glad I ordered that instead. My daughter had the Mac and cheese and was give some crayons and a coloring sheet for entertainment. They also had a cute play kitchen set near the entrance for kids waiting to be sat. It’s too bad we didn’t have to wait because my daughter really wanted to play with it! She was able to on our way out. It’s such a cute restaurant with a retro style theme, bright red and white decor everywhere. The service was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and will be back on our next adventure to Bandon.

We ate breakfast here yesterday and came back today. I had the Belgian Waffle with strawberries and whipped creme. It was dessert for breakfast. Good size portions. If you come for breakfast you can skip lunch later. My husband and nephew both enjoyed the chicken fried steak. All of the staff was friendly. Diane, our waitress, took good care of us. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

At the outside end of pier 39. You get to drive out onto the pier over rickety planks and everything. Very cool to visit. It's the old Bumblebee fish cannery and now has shops restaurants and some small local businesses inside. Great coffee shop with bagels and pastries etc. THE BEST right up front view of the river in Astoria. Small outside seating area where they used to unload fish. Nice inside area for the usual weather. Nice friendly staff!

The food and drinks were excellent, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel celebrated. A huge thank-you to Hope, who helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and made sure everything came out perfectly. And an extra special shout-out to Hypatia, the sweetest supervisor ever — she asked my mom what music she wanted to hear for her birthday, turned it on, and even brought us extra chocolate for the strawberries we brought in. 🍓🍫 They made us feel so welcome and at home. My mom said it was one of her favorite birthdays ever — and I completely agree. ❤️

Recommended by a friend as the best views for a coffee lover- and they were pretty spot on. This is such a fun place to grab a hot coffee in the morning and overlook the river. The food (with the exception of the pastries) is made to order. I got myself a parfait and it was packed with various kinds of fruits and berries- perfect for a day of hiking. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside while you are waiting for your order to be ready. The staff were super kind and could tell were super busy. Even for how busy it was, it was still very peaceful and enjoyable. The coffee is delicious and made for the perfect start to our day. A go-to for people passing through Astoria.

Friendliest people work here. They were greeting everyone by name and knew their drinks. Lattes were great. And the location can NOT be beat. On the water. We saw seals and bald eagles. Absolutely loved this spot!

Came here for breakfast on our road trip - this coffee shop has incredibly atmospheric vibes. They played cozy songs from the 1920s in the early morning, and we got to watch the sea birds play in water. We loved their coconut macadamia mocha! The food was pretty good too - I got their vegetable quiche!

Been a staple favorite of mine for at least a decade. Used to take my younger siblings here for a treat. Now I take my nephew. No matter the weather, it's a perfectly enjoyable place to soak in Astoria, views of the Columbia and the neighboring state of Washington, and if course the coffee of your coffee! Delicious breakfast and lunch bites available. Note: It's on a pier. Personally, I recommend parking on the main land and walking - you can see the boards "piano key" when cars drive over it.

Coffee Girl holds a very special place in my heart. It is by far my favorite coffee shop of all time. I go there every time I am on the north coast, not even specifically in Astoria, on the north coast in general. I ALWAYS end my trip with a coffee and treat from Coffee Girl. Their coffee, teas and Italian sodas are always excellent. The pastries and other treats are all home made and absolutely delicious. There is always something new! My all time favorite menu item is the Bagel and Carrot Lox. I have tried to recreate it at home, but it just isn’t the same. It so wonderful to grab your drink and treat and go sit out on the dock and watch all the boats and wildlife move by. It’s equally as relaxing to sit inside on a rainy day and enjoy the ambience. Wandering around Pier 39 in general is so much fun! Coffee Girl is an Absolute MUST if you are visiting Astoria!

The Eggel bagel was good. I was asked on which bagel I would like it made and I asked for a recommendation. The cashier mentioned the Asiago bagel. I said sure. I was never told it was an up charged. I would have gotten the Asiago anyway, but I would have loved to be informed it was more. The coffee was great! And the restaurant is big. I didn’t like the chairs, they were quite uncomfortable. Another person in the party ordered the blueberry bagel. It was good, not too sweet. My son wanted more bacon, so when I went to order two strips, they wanted to charge me $2.50 each strip. I might as well get a sandwich, which I did. And that is when I asked again which bagel would be good, and the other cashier told me that plain or Asiago but the Asiago was an up charge of $2.00. I got the plain this time. There are cups of water available. I would come back to this breakfast place again.

pretty big, lots of seating, good areas to study, designed very nice. they have soft sofa chairs and normal plastic ones and tables for grps of diff sizes. bagels are solid with a bunch of diff flavors and the cashier was super friendly and great he was very smiley. the redbull combos were kinda gross though ngl. i had a veggie eggle beagle on a bacon cheese beagle and it was really good. whoever made the playlist here has fire music taste🔥🔥🔥 loved the music🙏🏼

Super cool bagel shop that is located in an old bank. Tons of seating and a great option to get a quick breakfast for the whole family before heading out for the day. They have everything from sandwiches for lunch to great breakfast bagels!

I visited this place in the morning, there were a lot of people. I got myself an iced coffee; it was strong and tasteless. I also bought bagels; they were dry, $15, definitely not worth it. There was almost no bacon in it. I added tomatoes and cabbage for $3; it was definitely not worth the money.

The service here is unmatched! Esteban knows exactly what he is doing and makes the best recommendations!!! The bagels are so fresh and delicious! And for the spicy food lovers, the ghost cream cheese is spot on!!! 10/10 recommend! Will be back!!

Went inside to get a bagel, was completely dismissed by the staff. Saw the prices and decided to leave. Went to Safeway, was greeted warmly at the bakery, got 6 delicious jalapeño cheese bagels and a tub of Tillamook cream cheese for less than what one bagel would have cost here. It's a cool spot, just over priced, food not that great and staff way too cool for school. I'm not too good to eat grocery store bagels!

My husband and I noticed this spot during a night walk in Seaside. It was closed at the time, but since we were leaving the next morning, we decided to stop by before heading out. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. They didn’t offer espresso drinks, only cold brews, so we ordered two bagel sandwiches (one ham and one sausage). When we got our food, both were sausage, not what we ordered. The coffee was terrible, and the pumpkin spice cold brew had almost no flavor. The sandwiches were so bland that I ended up using Taco Bell hot sauce from my car just to give them some taste. No one offered cream cheese or any add-ons, which might have helped. In the end, we paid $33 with tip, but ended up tossing everything in the trash at the 76 down the street.

Everyone working were kind, attentive and fun! Met the owners..very kind! So...the Cod Gluten free sandwich and homemade chips were excellent! I walked away buying their Cherry Crumble pie! A piece of it at least! Yum! Parking was easy too. We'll done everyone! ☆☆☆☆☆

The staff were real nice. The table wear wasn’t that great, not good quality. The three egg omelet was probably two eggs! The serving of hash browns wasn’t very much, the sourdough toast was great though! The bang for the buck wasn’t there. I am not sure I would return to eat here, if I do I won’t get a breakfast!

Been going here when I get the chance for about 25 years. Always love the food. Milk shakes are great. I wanted to take my kids there for the first time. Im going to have to wait till they are older and have more patience. Took 20 min to get a menu and at 35 min the waitress never even came back. Will try another time when it’s less busy next time we’re passing through.

This is a gem! Who would've expected a nice crepe place in a small town like Florence? Yet here we are based solely on the awesome reviews left by other people that discovered this great crepe place! They probably serve other things but we got stuck on the crepe side of breakfast. My wife had the bacon, mushroom, ricotta crepe with feta and green onion and I had the smoked salmon crepe. Both were excellent! The feta in the bacon mushroom one adds a bit of richness and tang and makes it super unique and flavorful. The smoked salmon crepe is just like a bagel and lox with smoked salmon, creme cheese, red onion and capers - except in a crepe with a masterful recipe! Staff was super friendly and Kyron took excellent care of us, was knowledgeable about the menu choices and attentive after our order. Ambiance is quaint, seaside style decor perfect for a venue of this type in this area.

Everything was so so good. Our server Skylar was great and so kind and funny. We loved all the food and the juice was so fresh and good. Will be coming back and so happy with the experience.

Absolutely delicious! We’re visiting from out of town and scoped out the menus of a few local places and the menu here looked the best! The chicken fried steak was perfectly golden and crispy, gravy is phenomenal, and the potatoes were seasoned well! The eggs were also perfect, and the marionberry jelly/jam was amazing. My boyfriend’s pancakes were golden and sweet annd buttery. Our server was a lil older gal, an absolute PEACH! I asked for a coffee and she offered to make a latte, and I’m very happy she did! I’m really picky about lattes and it was perfect! Highly recommend checking the place out, especially for breakfast!

I've never made a Google review before, but this place was good enough to warrant me doing one now. The food was absolutely amazing, the customer service was lovely, and the overall experience was wonderful! My husband and I went there two days in a row. The first day we went, he got the farmer's omelette and raided it a 5 out of 5 stars, And then I had the smoked salmon crepe and it was absolutely phenomenal! The second day we went, my husband had the carnivore omelette and he rated that another 5 out of 5, And I had the crab crepe And it was just as good as the first crepe. If there is anyone who is seeking to find a cozy breakfast spot in Florence, we highly recommend this place!

Great cozy shop that locals actually hang out. Great selection, including fresh juice. The pound cake looked amazing with fresh whipped cream and raspberries on top. I tried a London Fog and it was perfect for my walk and beach sit on a cool morning. The clerk did not offer great service or seem to care that I was there or offer any sort of connection that I would hope for at a small business establishment. I don't think she even looked at me, it wouldn't keep me from going back though.

We've been going to the Oregon coast for years, and (by far) this is the friendliest shop with the best coffee in the entire area ... and the avocado toast with egg is a great way to start the day! 😋

From the minute we walked in, we loved this cute little place! The staff was incredibly friendly — even while training a new member, which can be tough to juggle and still keep everyone happy. The coffee was great, and my boyfriend ordered a smoothie, which was delicious! I think it’s all fresh made? Genuinely a great place to stop in. We’re from out of state, so we’re still getting used to the higher prices, but we loved it.

Super cute atmosphere, friendly service. They were a little overwhelmed with orders so we just got coffee and skipped ordering food but the menu looked great and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the coffee was terrible. My husband got a mocha and I had an iced latte, overwhelmingly underflavored. I’m hoping it was just because they were swamped. I’d definitely try again when they are a little less busy. My daughter got a white hot chocolate and said it was amazing.

I often prefer a good fritter. However, the quality can vary greatly. In general a donut is a donut, but a fritter can either be delicious or completely ruined. Yes, you probably already know what I'm going to say since there are 5 stars. They made the apple fritter quite excellently! I've had some that were just too greasy, too dry, too small, too rich.... Etc This was the opposite in every way. It was delicious and the only bad thing is that I'll probably never come back since I was just driving through.... 😥

My 1st time here. The Staff that greeted us and waited on us was super sweet and helpful in deciding and explained details clearly. The Crispy Apple Fritter was Huge and absolutely Delicious 🤤 never knew this place existed on our Many trips to Florence. Would definitely recommend it and for Sure Going back on our next trip! While staying in Florence to ride the dunes for vacation I decided to try these guys since say we're the only ones open at 6 AM. Nobody else opened till after 7. No wait at all as I grabbed my breakfast burrito, apple fritter and hot chocolate and headed straight to the dunes to catch the sunrise. Food was delicious and I even went back the next day before heading out of town. Thanks guys, see ya next year!😎💪

All of the donuts are delicious. The blueberry donut is my favorite. Breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy are also super good. Try the jalapeno biscuits! Their spicy chicken sandwich is a top notch lunch option. The chicken cut is big size so be hungry though. Donuts are sooooo good they do run out. So dont show up before they close complaining about they are out of donuts. This is a cool building with character. The staff and owners are really awesome too

Find time said closed at seven got there at 6:15 and they claimed they closed at six. Tried to tell me I looked at the wrong location once I pulled up the location. They believed me and said they try to fix their hours online. The hours need to be adjusted. I needed a last minute gift card and the hours said they are open until 7. I got there at 6:45 only for the woman to unceremoniously tell me that, "We close at six so we can leave at seven." Please adjust the hours so you don't waste people's time.

Becky - store manager was less than pleasant when getting my coffee this am. She was short and snippy not only with me but with other customers. No hello... have a great day.... essentially no customer service skills. Less than friendly. Plus they're out of tons of things and "dont know when they'll get more". So unhelpful. Thank goodness the coffee she made was okay and not terrible... but still wasnt great.

Went with a friend a few weeks ago and the guy working there was having a bad day as reflected in his attitude. He had 6 customers in line while he took a break to have some coffee and told us baristas need coffee too. After 15 minutes, we left without our coffee. Today, I went early 7:30 to find that he was having another bad day and as such starbucks wasn't open. It is supposed to open at 7:00. A Safeway clerk told me that starbucks would be opening late. After shopping, I saw the same guy getting things ready and I asked him when coffee would be available. He said at least a half an hour. I know finding labor is tough. Clearly hard for starbucks to find responsible people in Lincoln City, Or.

If i cpuldvratevthis Stsrbucks zero stars, i would. The woman was rude, she didnt get my order right, twice. She had the nerve to say " i cant remember everyone's order." I said, "Then you shouldn't be working here." This is inside Safeway. This is not the firs time my order was wrong. Ibam very patient, kept going back hoping they would get it right. Your experience at this Starbucks location will vary, depending on time of day and tourist season. The location is generally adequately staffed, but during the summer months and common vacation weekends, there's no way any coffee shop could keep up with certain "rushes." When you stop for coffee before beginning your drive back home, EVERY vacationer is also stopping for coffee for their drive home. Be patient, stay cheerful, and enjoy the day. They do a great job.

This little old school place is good for those looking for country style American food, I guess. The price is really good for a large portion both Tuna melt and Beef BBQ burger which come with lots of fries and hash browns. The service is very good and friendly, love it!! I really appreciate all 3 hard working people in the kitchen for making food fast for hungry people.

This place was really cute though it was small, but gave off a classic American diner sort of vibe, including bar stools and counter service you could get. Food was tasty, well cooked, coffee was okay, hot chocolate was decent, but portions were massive. Our waistress was very friendly and kind towards her customers. Would recommend!

The food portions are HUGE (at least the breakfast plates I saw). So, if you’re looking for a big breakfast at an old school dinner this is your stop right on the 101 (easy parking on side streets).

Adorable little Mom & Pop diner! Food was fantastic. I ordered the stuffed hashbrown dish with sour cream, green onions, and cheddar and it was amazing. We ordered an array of dishes and everyone enjoyed. The pancakes were humongous. The staff is very nice.

If you want to eat like you're not paying for groceries again, this is the place to go. My plate was loaded so high. I would need a second stomach to eat it all. I wish places like this could be franchised around the country because this is what I want when I go out to a restaurant

The absolutely best Denver omelet and crispy hash browns i ever had if ever in north bend Oregon you have to go very small café with the best home cooked food in town and. Great location to stop for a meal on the way to Pacific City from Portland. Portions are huge. Cozy interior with a lot of stuff around to look at. Very family friendly. There are salads, but I don't recommend stopping if you're only wanting healthy foods. Their pint glasses (available for purchase) are very cute.

Best food, hands down, in Tillamook County. No matter the cook, the food is always consistent. Great flavor, warm, delicious coffee. Family ambiance and amazing service. We love to sit at the counter when available to watch the action and enjoy the atmosphere. Always take a bakery item to go or to enjoy there. Especially if Anika is home and baking. Can’t recommend enough ❤️

I really enjoyed the brunch at this spot. It’s a great stop on your way back from the coast, and the interior is amazingly decorated with antiques. Definitely a unique experience.

We loved eating here! The food was so delicious, Eve did the cooking and we were so impressed! Our server was Haley (pretty sure that was her name) the service was so good, and we bought some wonderful jam she made. At entering the restaurant staff greeted us right away, we ordered drinks and waited for our order which was kind of a wait. The breakfast was good, sausage was good and the eggs were done the way we wanted. Biscuits and gravy was really good. Two egg breakfast was good as well. Wait time was a little long but food over all was good. Waitress may need some training checking back with customers but a good attitude. Nice farm style setting restaurant on Hwy 6 just outside of Tillamook.

We stopped in to Alice's after deciding Tillamook Creamery was too busy and boy were we glad we did. I had the biscuits and gravy, hubby had the chicken fried steak. Both amazing. Home cooked at its finest. Server was on top of of everything and found out Alice herself cooked our breakfast for us. We sat outside since the weather was nice but the inside was cozy feeling and had historic charm. Definitely make a stop there if you're traveling to or from the coast on Hwy6, if not to eat at least grab a slice of homemade pie or carrot cake to-go.

We enjoyed breakfast here in Dec 2022 and we can't wait to visit again and try lunch and dinner. There are a variety of seating options and plenty of room for big groups. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful. Felt like we were regulars, although it was our first time there - great spot to enjoy a yummy breakfast. I don't remember the name of our dishes, but both of our dishes were super tasty! Fresh homemade jam and the pancake was so good! Update, we enjoyed lunch in Feb 2023. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and I had the chicken wrap with tots. Very yummy!

I have been here three times. First time I loved it. Second time it was busy and the food was okay. This time I ordered biscuits and gravy with two eggs. The water cup I was given was dirty with stuff floating around in it, the biscuits and gravy was sliced bread and pepper gravy no sausage in it and to top it off my table had three eggs two over medium and one over easy. All eggs had clear uncooked egg whites. I left three quarters of my food and our server never asked how was the food. I'm pretty sure she knew and was avoiding a possibile confrontation. I will not be going back.

This is the place where the locals go. Great chicken fried steak, great omelets. Service good and friendly. After two days in town we were happy to find this place and get a great meal.

At no fault of their own the place is pretty small, and when we showed up it was pretty busy, but we were able to get seated pretty quick. From the time that we ordered it took 45 minutes and at no point were we checked on by the servers. In those 45 minutes we saw customers come and go and heard waitresses gossip to the cook and each other about the customers. At this point we were pretty disappointed with the professionalism and falsely presumed friendliness. When the food did arrive, the French toast was dry and oddly salty, eggs were dry and unflavored. The biscuits and gravy was moist but still bland and undesirable. The best part about the meal was the breakfast sausage. For being such a fan favorite in the community we left disappointed and hungry as we couldn’t even finish our food.

Growing up a lizard in the Sonoran desert, I've been to my fair share of car shows. Surrounded by the smell of diesel and 6 cylinder engines, is this overwhelming aura of a community of hard working creative people. Somehow this tiny Lil diner in Florence Oregon, helped remind me that I could get that memory back even in the furthest reaches of our beautiful country. It's a diner, the wait staff is amazing, the food is reasonably priced, just go. I plan on making this one of my repeat stops along the PCH

Really friendly staff. It's a nice little diner that does breakfast and lunch. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The Denver omelet had more ham then veggies it was delicious. The double bacon cheese burger looked great and my son really liked it. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

The Togo order was not bagged. Host was rushed and didn't ask if I needed anything until after I requested ketchup, and was still rushed. Hash browns were mashed potatoes inside. Biscuits and gravy were not actually biscuits.. I should have looked at the pictures first. No flavor. (Pepper in picture was added. Was told to try this place out because of how good it was, maybe it was an off morning but the food had no flavor, disappointed about the "biscuits" and the hash browns were over priced for size and being undercooked. Will not return nor suggest to others.

Hmm. Interesting place. Coffee shop with book club and strong christian roots. The coffee itself was pretty good. The breakfast items were very good especially given the way they are prepared here. Ordered one breakfast sandwich and one bagel with cream cheese. The eggs Sandwich was great. The bagel was a bagel. The service was okay but the girl was overwhelmed at 630am by herself.

My number one meeting spot to praise worship and talk about our Lord. I have had many meetings over coffee in small men's gatherings to go over god's word. Always a wonderful spot to meet and enjoy good food. Good coffee an even better service.

Awesome place, clean, well prices and good ambience. With this location it would be awesome to see a full breakfast menu. Even if they did it with some twist like farm to table. The down tick is due to no masks on servers. For this reason I won't be back due to being high risk. I try to live life, spend money but you have to care about my safety.

I ordered a cake from here. It was awful. Tasted bad and looked bad. The owner and baker didn't care at all. Absolutely no accountability or ownership in the situation and put all the blame on me.. they didn't do the right flavors we asked for and the design was so bad. I strongly encourage anyone to shop elsewhere for their bakery needs. 67 dollars for an inedible cake. Thank goodness we got another cake at another local bakery and it was a million times better. Support those local shops who do it right!

I was recently in the North Bend area for a vacation, but needed somewhere to get work done a few days during the week I was there. A family member who attended college in the area suggested Kaffe 101 as a place where students would often hunker down and get things done. "Perfect!" I thought, "that's exactly what I need." My expectations simply were that the wifi would be somewhat reliable and there would be ample seating and table space. And boy, were my expectations BLOWN out of the water! Plenty of seating and table space? You bet! Great wifi that accommodated video calls for work? OH YEAH! Incredibly kind staff? A plethora! Tasty drinks? You bet your butt! And delightful, encouraging worship music playing in the background?? COME ON!! Now we're talking. I was delighted with my time there. 11/10

We were visiting/staying overnight in a nearby hotel looking for a place to get some light brunch before exploring the area. We did not search to far before only driving a couple blocks from our Motel 6 to see the sign for "Kaffe 101" on our right. We had to park in a parking lot across the street. It looked pretty small and we wondered if they even had food since it had only a cup of coffee on their window. We entered and the aroma was overwhelming with not just coffee but fresh foods. There was a line of eager people and as we looked over the menu posted in front we were delighted to see they also offered lunch and breakfast! There were so many options we jumped to the back of the line twice to decide what to even order! My mother has celiac disease and I try to eat as little meat as possible and still the options were abundant. I wound up ordering the Greek salad which came out piled on top of a dinner size plate that left me full and satisfied! It was fresh and authentic with kalamata olives, peppercinis and feta cheese. We were also delighted that once we ordered we stepped into a MUCH larger space with a fireplace and quaint/ modern decor. It seemed like the perfect spot to grab a cup of Joe in the morning or meet up with friends for lunch. I highly recommend this place due to customer service, quality and a diverse menu filled with options!!

Once again! Worth the wait! Great food, large portions and “Good old home cookin” flavors! Chanterelle omelet and the Red Neck Benedict were delicious and filling! The Molasses Rye bread is by far the star of the show! Recommended by a friend and I can’t agree enough! Don’t forget their beautiful home made pies too!

We dropped in for breakfast at Otis Cafe while staying in Lincoln City for a few days. The food was amazing and definitely with the wait. The ham, the sourdough, the sausage gravy, everything was so good. Definitely make this place a priority but be prepared to wait to get in.

The service, seasoning salt, food and atmosphere are off the hook. Very road trip! Normally when I order chicken fried steak I have to add salt and pepper. But these guys made some of the best I've ever had!!! Yes generous portions. Yes German potatoes Yes to the black molasses bread!!! When you see the sign "worth the weight" then taste the food, you know why you need to come here! Highly recommend for a foodie roadtrip!

It wasn't my favorite corned beef hash, but it was tasty. It seemed to have a tomato paste flavor. Hubby had the chicken fried steak which was good. The German style hash browns were ok. The sourdough is amazing! We ended up buying a loaf to go.

Wonderful local diner serving great food with large portions. Ordered the "Redneck Benedict" and the wife got the "Banana Bread French-toast". We both loved the food and the service.

The clam chowder was incredible and creamy. We had the special mushroom omelet and tuna melt. Tuna melt is such an average dish but the best one I've ever had due to the bread and seasonings. Had the kids pancake and everything was delicious. Our server Peter was awesome.

Good food. I ordered the cinnamon French toast which was a bit for me but that's just me. Service was warm and friendly. Place can get full fast and there was a line. But food came out fast. Reasonabley priced.

SO delicious. We had a few baked goods (both sweet options and savory options) and they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered an espresso frappe and it was so good. The staff was extremely kind and got our food and drinks to us quickly. Very impressed with this bakery!

The coffee ☕️ superb! We love Columbia River Coffee Roasters ground coffee and that’s what they use here, their customer blend is delicious! Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I had coffee and a breakfast croissant with sausage,egg, and cheese. Delicious! A clean, friendly, and well -run establishment. Could be the best game in town, and we'd definitely recommend it 👌.

We so wanted to love this place, and the service was amazing. But the coffee was bad... like really bad. Like everyone in my group ended up throwing theirs out after a few sips. I have absolutely no doubt that if we were still in the area, they would have totally remade it for us but unfortunately we had already taken off.

Decent cup, enough for your fix. Ham/cheese scone was very tasty. Edit: No seating, so this is a grab n’ go situation.

My wife and I stopped by to have a quick bite to eat. We both got breakfast and it was delicious. The customer service was great and everyone was friendly. We eat our breakfast outside under a covered porch and it was a perfect setting. Thank you Espin!

Do yourself a favor if you want breakfast or lunch in Manzanita. This place is absolutely amazing! I had the chicken fried steak. It was on point crispy with a beautiful pork gravy smothered on top and perfectly cooked. The mimosas are substantial.

This place is a true gem among today’s fancy accommodations and modern facilities. Very eclectic setting along the highway with ultra clean motel style cabins behind it. Something out of an old small town movie. The restaurant: Family ran by a gentleman and his wife that cook and provide homemade food, pies soups, and sauces. You name it! Alcoholic beverages are served as well. The food is absolutely amazing as it’s mostly all cooked by Gabriel the owner. He has worked in the restaurant business for many years and has previously put many on the map for sought after places to eat. Most everything on the menu is hand crafted and delicious. The restaurant offers an overwhelming selection of menu items that surely provides anyone a satisfying meal of taste and comfort. Sometimes people traveling in the area need or expect a special foo-foo and or an atmosphere of extraordinary setting to enhance their moments. This is not that place. The Bunkhouse restaurant is very rustic, yet clean and eclectic to old wayside diner charm. If you need fancy or are expecting high end dining atmosphere, just keep driving. Food wise, I find this place amazing because of its character and great tasting food and expansive menu items. I have reviewed many places and restaurants across the Country including 243 in Oregon alone over the years. In my opinion and without being a true Chef, places like the Bunkhouse restaurant are the ‘must see, ‘must eat at kind of places. Hopefully you will enjoy it as well! Don

A great spot along highway 101 south of Manzanita, OR. Good food and service. This place is much better than the place down the road. Had the chicken fried steak covered in sausage gravy, it was great. The portions were good size. The ambiance was quiet and comfortable, unlike the place down the road. The down the road place (which i will not name) is cold, noisy, very little parking and food was bland and tepid.

Food is not bad, but not so impressed either. They do offer a variety of selections on their menu. Maybe will give other dishes a try next time

I wanted desperately to enjoy this. I was told it was a great steak and a great restaurant. And in fact to mediocre steaks plate pod but not heated frozen vegetables, , unimaginative coleslaw, a cold plate of kids, macaroni and cheese, well that was the highlights. More fun playing one of the games by the wood stove then enjoyable eating. None of the food was bad. Except the being cold thing. But really nothing was bad but nothing was worth writing home about. The garlic bread was a little bit off. Bad choice of spices. I think someone used the off the shelf Italian seasoning set of being creative. There was a single herb Emily mix that didn't mix well with the rest of what was going on. Seats were uncomfortable. Tables were beautifully clean. I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back. That's pretty much the opinion of the two people I was with as well. We were there for dinner. It was a little over $30 per person, we don't have alcohol so it was $100 for three people. The Sunday of simply School of ice cream. Marionberry pie was good. About average for the area. Little expensive with a scoop of ice cream at $8 for a slice. When I was served my cup of clam chowder straight run of the milk lamb chowder, I got a teaspoon to eat it with. Then after dinner had a" Sunday" which was just like I said, a scoop of vanilla ice cream with some Hershey syrup on top and I was given is gorgeous hefty soup spoon. A little weird. Wait staff was friendly. All in for $100. There's a lot of other places I would have rather eaten. And a whole lot of places I will go instead.

The hours are a bit weird but the food more than makes up for it. So good! The homemade sourdough bread, biscuits, and gravy are the best. Very rich, so you may want to share. I'm looking forward to eating there again next week.

Cozy coffee spot on the pier with a nice atmosphere, clearly loved by locals — you can tell by how busy it is. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t great: the milk was overheated, and the flavor was off. Lovely setting, but the drinks could definitely be better.

Must stop by and try this Very welcoming Coffee House & Friendly staff. Love the Coffee's, Butterscotch, & white mocha raspberry. I can really taste that the coffee ☕ 🌞 is Organic the best. The hot Cocoa is delicious very chocolate-E 🍫. Yummy 😋 🤤 breakfast , would love to try others. Sometimes, great natural organic😮 dog treats homemade.😇 Lovely Bible verses❣️🧡

I wanna support local small businesses, coffee wasn't bad, etc. 7$ for an iced latte was when I wondered what was going on, and the bible quotes written on the walls when I completely lost it. Could be ok if people were extremely nice and welcoming but no. Not bad but nothing special justifying seven-US-dollars. Officially the most expensive coffee after 3 months through Canada and western States 🫠

The Bell and Whistle Coffee House is a cute little coffee shop right off the boardwalk in Brookings, Oregon. The place has great atmosphere, and a really decent fresh made breakfast menu. We had the jalapeño, cheddar, and bacon egg bites, made with farm fresh eggs, a chocolate chip cookie (very chocolate and brown sugar forward, especially to my liking), and an onion and cheddar scone along with our espressos. We would definitely stop here again. They sell organic coffee scrub, handcrafted, custom coffee mugs, along with some beautifully embossed, leather bound, Bibles…? There are scriptural references posted along the ceiling, and they are listening to gentle gospel music over the sound system. Very Christian, for those that would notice. I didn't see any rainbow flags, if you know what I mean, and with the fairly bold Bible verses on display I don't know how welcoming this place would feel for our LGBTQIA+ friends. For us the vibe felt really welcoming. And the young staff seemed very polite, friendly, and professional. There is a public restroom nearby (yay!), indoor and outdoor seating, beautiful views of the harbor (very misty today), and it provides a unique alternative to a standard chain coffee shop experience.

Great little coffee shop with savory grilled breakfast squares. We had the grilled - spinach breakfast square - bacon breakfast square - chorizo breakfast square All three were toasty warm and delicious. The space has limited seating, but is cozy and comfortable. If we ever are in the area this will be a spot we frequent!

The drinks are good but the people working there make you feel like an inconvenience the second you walk through the door. I’ve tried to smile and say hello but the barista/cashier acts slightly offended by basic human decency lol. I’ve given this place a lot of chances but it’s a bummer every single time. Honestly, I feel uncomfortable walking in and ordering something. Not a very “Christian” feel to the place considering there’s Bible verses all over the walls.

I’m not a coffee snob. But I know what espresso tastes like. I have had great espresso and mid espresso, even poor espresso, and still enjoyed it. This is the worst espresso I have ever had. I don’t believe it even came out of a legitimate espresso machine. It tastes like burnt nasty. It has no body. It’s like the worst combination of drip, Turkish, and FP. Frankly I’m offended AND CONCERNED that people think this is ok to drink AND TO SELL : (

I feel bad when a restaurant is under staffed and the service suffers. All three of the servers we saw were acting like they didn’t want to be there. The food was okay. It was served fast and everything was hot.

the food was great, and the service was acceptable. on the menu, it says to "ask about seasonal omelet options" and one of the servers at the counter shrugged and said "its whatever." and listed maybe 3 ingredients, leaving my party to wonder why the menu doesnt specifi. many grab n go drink options, including alcohol, primarily local brands for beer.
