The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Berrien County

This was a 10/10 brunch experience. It was delightful and filling. Super happy with the zucchini bread GF waffle, broccoli eggs with perfect potatoes, and had to try a buttermilk pancake, which I could have ordered much more. A can’t miss spot when you’re in town and somewhere I’m sure we’ll go again the next time we’re in the area. The espresso over ice to-go was the right move to end our favorite meal of the weekend.

For July 4th weekend, we drove to Benton Harbor, Michigan. We stayed at the Hampton Inn as we had 2 dogs. Kids joined us and it was a lovely family weekend!! We had a lovely brunch at Mason jar cafe in Benton Harbor. Food was great and service was awesome! My son-in-law had pork ribs and he loved them! Plenty of vegetarian dishes as well. If you visit Benton Harbor, do check out this restaurant!!

Mason jar cafe is the best restaurant in the entire world. The renovations look great too! Hands down best food ever. So fresh. The staff is so friendly too. Today we got the jalapeños cheddar scramble and the pumpkin spice pancakes, with lattes. So good as always.

We arrived right at closing, they were happily served us lunch. I had the roasted vegetable sandwich with fruit. It was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had and I don't often like sandwiches. Everyone was friendly and happy even though we kept them late. The food came out quickly and was done to perfection. Did not look rushed. I will come to Benton harbor again just for this restaurant. Next time we'll arrive well before closing. Highly recommend!

Overall, we enjoyed our brunch here a few days ago. My wife likes breakfast, but I prefer lunch so this restaurant really did have the best of both worlds. It’s more on the expensive side, and I was disappointed that my Coca-Cola was served in a can instead of in a refillable fountain drink cup. While the food quality is great, they do find ways to nickel and dime you here at this restaurant.

I'd give this place a 4.4 out of 5, really solid breakfast option and the place has a nice indoor and outdoor area for larger parties. Really good bang for your buck the prices are on the lower end for a breakfast place. A lot of local ingredients are used as well. The jalapeno sausage scramble was excellent and hit the spot. Would come again.

Nice hippie cafe. The facility is pretty large to accommodate quite a bit of people. I guess they expanded, tripling their size. They even have a dedicated bar. The layout is fun, with little "rooms" that have a few tables. The menu is cute with a lot of organic options. Not impressed by the lack of kids menu. There were plenty of families there that have kids, I dont see why they wouldn't have a little menu dedicated to kids choices to save from wasting so much food. Little kids cant eat the adult portions served. Not saying they serve large portions, but too much for a 6 year old. Also wasn't impressed by the hostesses not mentioning any of the specials that were sold out. They had a few items listed on their daily specials menu. We had plenty of time to wait to get our order taken. The item we selected was sold out, and she was uncertain about another. Like how much effort does kt take to know that. Overall, a great little hippie spot, fun atmosphere, small variety of coffee and alcoholic beverage and even cbd options. Disappointed by the lack of kid menu.

3.5/5 - pretty dang charming cafe with a fantastic atmosphere and decent coffee! Food looked real good too, but I only splurged for the deserts, and I found them a little disappointing for the price ($6-$7) per desert. Maybe if I come back and get their food, I’ll bump up the price, but overall I’d probably just stick with the coffee and the food!

This place is hopping in the morning. Fresh pastries, cookies, pasta salad, coffee brewing, it smelled wonderful! I had the pecan waffles and they were delicious! Will have to try there lunch & dinner as well!

We loved everything about this place! It was truly a highlight for us during our Lake Michigan trip. Wonderful ambience. The minestrone soup and warm goat cheese salad were to die for! Lots of pastry options and the coffee was great. We went not once, not twice, but three times while we were in St. Jo! Highly recommend!

Walked in and waited a minute the lady said hi. I waited for her to finish making what she was making. Then she just started to make another one. It happen again. I asked if I could order. She said she had too many online orders. So I left. I was there waiting. How about we help people who are there.

I ordered a turkey and havarti on Asiago with cream cheese on both sides. There was no cream cheese on my bagel, and when I asked for cream cheese the girl working was very unkind and appeared too busy to help despite me being one of the only customers in the place. There was trash all over the ground and gloves were not worn. Will not be returning to this location

Quick coffee and breakfast on our way through town. Courteous staff, reasonable prices, indoor seating and ample parking.

Surely the barista knows when coffee stored in pumpers is getting tepid. Apparently they don't know or don't care. A recent experience ordered two medium cups and both were luke warm. The barista and counter person obviously wanted to be somewhere else and weren't trying to provide even subpar service. Sigh.

Its took too long time for just egg cheese begal I order with latte Same time employees give me latte but my hot latte converts into cold latte automatically during waiting for begal .

From their friendly Baristas, to their delicious menu items, to their friendly, welcoming atmosphere, my wife and I rate this Biggby as one of the best we’ve ever visited! A great addition to the St.Joseph community.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn up the street. Instead of eating the “continental” breakfast I decided to drive less than a mile for the best diner experience I’ve had in quite a long time. Lots of regulars, friendly staff, hot coffee. Oh, and stuffed French toast? Yes, please!

WOW. We ordered our food and there was a small issue with our order. The owner made it right immediately without us even asking. This place is run old school and run right. There are so many regulars in here and you can see why. The owner interacts with all of her customers like family. The portions of the food are huge and it all tasted greats. We are here from out of town but if we are ever back in the area, we will be back!

Hasn’t been here in a few years. Food is still outstanding and portions are generous. A bit pricey for breakfast but better than a national chain restaurant

Fantastic!!! The construction on the freeway at their exit has absolutely crushed this local favorite. Let me tell you, it’s really…really good. Not sure how much longer the freeway work is going on, but I sure hope this place makes it.

We walked in with a twelve top from out of town and they seated us immediately. Service was phenomenal and food was AMAZING! Great price, great portions, amazing service and next time we're visiting up here we'll be back! Thank you Christina for taking such good care of us!!

Great accommodations for us, called ahead about 15min before with a big party of 23, great food awsome staff. 10/10 would definitely recommend coming back. For having such a large party we were taken care of very well and served drinks and food very fast

I wish I could give Sophia's more stars but I only get 5. ( needs 10) Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Everything was awesome. Large portion. Im as full as a tick. Jennifer my server was on the spot with my food and coffee refills. Highly recommend this restaurant. Breakfast served ALL DAY! Hurry though they close at 2pm. Good coffee also.

Have been to New Buffalo twice so far this summer, and been to Rosie's both times. Great food, great prices, great service. Nice low key Mom & Pop.

Food was great. Nice sized portions! Our server was friendly even while being very busy. I had the Hungry Jack with a 1/2 order of B&G. The B&G was a tad salty, but not a deal breaker. This place was full of locals, and had a very local feel. Other than our server though, there wasn't exactly a very inviting feel. I'd imagine summertime would be a different atmosphere with many more tourists stopping in.

Maybe one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. I had the traditional eggs Benedict and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the frittata and absolutely loved it—just outstanding. After breakfast at Jackie’s, we stopped by the bakery and grabbed some sweets, which were off the chain. Definitely worth a visit!

Breakfast place we found that we didnt think we could so glad that we did. Breakfast was just ok but surprised when we heard they had there own personally bakery in the back.

im actually disappointed the manager of this place couldn’t make my omelette with whites. I think there should be more flexibility but also it encourage it to be more fresh!! its just eggs. haven’t tried them yet tho but this is my experience.

What a quaint cutie little diner. Love the ambience. The staff was very friendly everyone smiled. The facility was very clean. And the smells coming from the bakery where you can buy pies and stuff was fantastic. Highly recommended for family dining or even a little romantic breakfast or lunch.

The best I can say was lemon curd that came with the toast was excellent. Our service was slow. She never checked on us. My hashbrowns were slightly warm on the outside cold in the middle. The iced tea tasted like it had a strange taste and when I got the bill the item that I ordered was 3.00 more than the menu price. I was not impressed. I will never go there again.

Loved everything! The servers were very polite, considering and fast. They brewed my decaf coffee, just for me. Lots of happy people were in the cafe, families, older people, young... I loved my crepe with spinach and mushrooms, served with fresh salad. 😋 We were driving by. Thank you! ❤

We had an awesome time at Jackie’s cafe! The food was incredible, the Egg Foo Young sandwich had a great flavor and the blueberry French toast was so fluffy and delicious. They seemed to be a bit understaffed, but wasn’t a problem for us, as our food came out promptly. We will return!

This place has the best coffee ever!!! I’m not a coffee drinker but I guess I’ll be joining the club now. It was the best I’ve ever had. I went with 2 more friends from Chicago and they also both said this coffee tastes so different and smooth. Vivian was really pleasant and made us fill like home. While we were waiting for our order she gave us some cinnamon that was so fresh made and delicious. THANK YOU!!!

Very nice place with delicious food but The portions are quite small for the price, but everything is good and tasty. Be prepared to be surprised by the wait times during peak hours. You order your food at the cash register first, and then wait for a table. This is quite strange and causes a lot of chaos. I don't know why the owners stick to this system. It's worth to mention that they have delicious pastry

We went in on a whim about an hour before they closed on a Saturday afternoon. The cake donuts were FANTASTIC! I wish we had bought more! Lol But, we also wanted to try the State of Michigan shaped cookies(one sugar and one ginger molasses) and a jumbo toffee cookie. Here are my humble opinions on each: Sugar Cookie - baked perfectly, soft, but didn't taste like real butter was used. I'm spoiled on my own homemade sugar cookies. Ginger Molasses - also perfectly baked and soft, but not spicy enough for me. I wanted more ginger and more molasses flavor. Both cookies - being part Yooper, I'm sad that da UP is missing, eh. 😉 Jumbo Toffee - the white chocolate chips inside take away from the toffee flavor. Plus, I've never really been a fan of white chocolate. Cake donuts - phenomenal in every way, and I want more already. 😁 Their hours of operation are limited, so be sure to check if they're open before going. We will definitely be back, thank you!

This is an insanely good country bakery food experience. While it may seem crowded, the staff keeps things organized, yet you still feel like you're getting a personal experience. The bread and pasteries are all fresh and top-rate. Our breakfast was so good we came a second straight day, enjoying the quiche (OMG), carrot cake waffle and other indulgences. Friendly service and pleasant seating both inside and outside. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

The salted toffee cookie is amazing. It was one of my favorite things to look forward to when visiting the area. However this year the service has not been nice. Earlier in the summer the cashier taking orders for dining room like 15 minutes to take an order from people in front of of us when it was jam packed. Revisited in Aug 24th. Not busy at all. My friend requested a box as she ordered multiple things and we were traveling. Employee, larger woman with multi colored hair scarf, literally rolled her eyes at her. Then the same cashier who took forever taking someones order before, says to my friend are you done with your order? I need to ring these people up. WHAT? Absolutely rude. Yeah it's busy there, I get it but I think it's been that way for years. So if you can handle the heat get out of the bakery. I don't know if I can go back after being treated poorly.

I rarely review food because my standards are high. This place knocks it or off the park. Swedish pancakes with a giant dollop of butter. Thick bacon perfectly cooked. Anything from the bakery is out of sight. That’s hard to accomplish. Usually places are ‘known for their ___’. Known for everything is great here.

Wow such good pastries!! The chocolate chip cookie was amazing. I got two. The plain croissant was AMAZING. I wanted to go back but they were closed the days we were in Michigan. The workers were friendly and patient for us to order. Can’t wait to come back.

My chicken & dumpling soup was barely room temperature, my friend's broccoli was cold, but the loaded baked potato was hot & good, the cornbread & biscuits were good, sweet tea was refreshing, & my friend liked her peach tea. Service was thoughtful & quick. Very nice gift shop.

I took my dad and sister to lunch here. I've been going to cracker barrel since I was a little kid. I love that they are all similar and cozy. My favorite time to go is in the winter when they have Christmas items and the fireplace. The food was yummy still. I wanted to make sure I eat cracker barrel at least one more time before it is ruined by change.

I would give this restaurant negative stars if I could. My family and I waited 20 minutes just for drinks. I ordered a water and an orange juice, but my water didn’t arrive until much later. During this time, three groups who were seated after us received their food, ate, and left before we even got our meals. It took 35 minutes between receiving our drinks and finally getting our food, and when it did arrive, almost everything was wrong. I did not receive my meal at all. Unfortunately, the manager was unhelpful, and our waitress was as well. The hostess, however, was kind and attentive. This was not an isolated incident. We have had multiple poor experiences here, and this visit was the last straw. Never coming here again. I normally do not write reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience. If you want breakfast, I recommend heading to AM Cafe instead.

The hostess was wonderful, setting realistic time expectations. Our server was amazing, attentive, and so friendly. The food was fresh and hot. The cashier was very helpful. And as usual we found wonderful things in the shop.

We had multiple flies (4) flying on our table the entire time we were there. The crispy chicken strips we ordered were soft and not at all crispy, as well. The store was nice but we very disappointed with this trip, will probably not return.

This place is awful, I won't be back. Placed an online order, waited 20 minutes before I had to call and someone come out. I still tipped, didn't get the drink with my kids meal, or the 3 pieces of bacon I had to pay almost $5 for. I was so ready to go home because I dont live in town, this whole situation is very frustrating

(1:20pm 9/26/25) Jeanine, a cashier, (Blonde bob about 70 years old with glasses and bejeweled headband) was extremely rude and unprofessional. My family and I came to enjoy breakfast here this morning. When we were leaving to pay, we stood up front for several minutes waiting to be helped so we could pay our bill. We were ignored even when I asked if anyone would be able to assist. Jeanine made several offensive comments about me, to a separate customer that she was helping. She then started telling the customer that she’s supposed to be retired (I agree, as she is of age) and that she shouldn’t have to deal with customer’s impatience. Extremely uncalled for and unacceptable behavior to discuss her personal opinions to another customer. My only expectation was for her to communicate that we would need to wait while a shift change appeared to be happening. Customers should not be treated with the disrespect that I experienced from Jeanine today, and this experience made me feel extremely unwelcome at Cracker Barrel. I will reach out to corporate to to ensure that this matter will be properly addressed.

Service excellent and very fast! Bacon above average. Sausage gravy was delightfully peppery and we loved it! The hashbrowns have a very interesting texture and we loved them! Scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy. Coffee above average. The hollandaise sauce was an absolute disaster and ruined my meal. Worst I’ve had in my whole life. Gross!! Poached egg status was not achieved; too runny. Overall, a little overpriced for what you get, but we will probably return.

From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family. The food tastes like it came from your grandma’s kitchen, you can taste the love in every bite! The portions are huge, you won’t leave hungry! The service is second to none! This restaurant is spotless! You will NOT be disappointed!

Fell in love with the place; definitely would come again for the chocolate frogs! They're so cute and light; not overbearingly chocolatey at all. And the staff was so sweet and helpful when it came to explaining anything from their soups to their vegetable side of the day. Definitely would come again and recommend for a cozy dinner or breakfast spot!

Nice family run place. The wait staff all dress semi-formal. It's a nice touch. Breakfast all day if you want it. We each got plates of protein, badly needed after a long day of travel. Followed up with some righteous Bavarian chocolate pie. For drinks, we asked Taya, our server, to mull up some fruit and add club soda. She was afraid it wouldn't come out well, but she and Alandra threw a couple watermelon chunks with lemon slices. They both came over, asking how it was. It was great! It really was. And the great thing was they were willing to try something new. We recommend you put it on the menu and name it after them. Or better yet, give them a commission for each one you sell. It was our first time here, and it was a great Google selection.

Stopped in at the height of lunch rush. Was greeted and seated quickly. It was very busy but staffed very well and ran like a well oiled machine. Food came out hot and waitress kept our water filled and brought a pop refill without even asking. Definitely will stop again when I the area. Portions were good size and they offered a variety of great looking dessert options. Kid and family friendly. Overall a really great dining experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place for sure! Everything we ordered was delicious and honestly didn't really take long either and our waitress did a great job also, wish I could remember her name to give her the recognition she deserves. Not one complaint about anything we got and that's saying a lot because we dont always have the best dining experiences at new places lol I would definitely recommend giving it a try! My Greek salad was the best!

This family owned restaurant has something for everyone. Everything is delicious. So worth the wait for your table. The food came quickly and the service was fantastic. Our waitress Janice was the best waitress we’ve ever had as a family. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.

Yum! Sandwiches made to order on fresh bread with your favorite toppings. You ⛏️ it they stack it. Hipster feel with funky artwork to check out. Friendly folks to boot. If you have a sweet tooth, they have plenty of bakery desert items.

This cafe has a lot of options for an egg sandwich. The sandwiches were good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again. When we went around 10 AM it was super crowded. The line moved pretty fast and food didn’t take too long accounting the people traffic.

Fantastic coffee shop and Delicatessen. The coffee shop was as good as Starbucks and I don't say that lightly. What sets this place apart is the unbelievably good Reuben sandwiches and pastries and other salads and goodies that they have. The seating is limited inside but there is a back room and they have seating out front and in a back patio if it's not raining or cold. Unfortunately there's only one bathroom which is a little bit tight for the number of people they have here.

A very busy, but very nice little cafe. I tried the ruban breakfast sandwich. Who would have ever thought that an egg would be good with sauerkraut?

This place is the perfect coffee shop on a Saturday morning. They are welcoming and and the environment is busy by cozy. The line was wrapped around the counter when I walked in and still had my iced mocha within 5 minutes. The pastry options are homemade and delicious. I wish I had time to stop by for lunch. I will definitely stop in anytime I am passing through.

Love David's Delicatessen! The staff is super friendly, and the iced latte is amazing—smooth and refreshing. Their sandwich selection is top-notch, and the almond flour brownie is a must-try: rich, delicious, and gluten-free. Great spot for a quick bite or a cozy treat!

Had breakfast here on 6.18.2025 and 6.19.2025 and was served by Jazmin on both occasions. She was an AMAZING and OUTSTANDING server and her positive and infectious enthusiasm each morning was very welcoming and inspiring. Jazmin even provided suggestions of places to explore, visit, and eat at during my travels along Lake Michigan, which I have included in this review. The food here at Thornton's is delicious and I will definitely stop here again the next time I am in Michigan. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area. ..... Jazmin. This place is a real gem. It is a sit wherever you want family run restaurant. Coffee is great. Kids meals are 4.99! The Omlet, the owner / cook made was perfect, like world class french restaurant level. My wife got these breakfast tater skins which is a great idea. This is where the locals go and you should too.

Used to love coming here with my grandma as a kid. Came here the other day with my mom for good memories and food, we arrived at 11 and left at 1230. An hour and 30 minutes of waiting for food. For context, we'd put our order in as soon as we got there. The waitress was very nice however, but told us about 40 minutes into the wait that our food had only just been put on the grill. Don't know what's going on in the kitchen, but it shouldn't be that for how few people were even there at that time. Usually, I am one to suck these things up. However, I am a type 1 diabetic, which my mother mentioned when we ordered. I usually give myself insulin for my food before I think it will arrive. If we had waited any longer I would have been too low and could've had a diabetic episode. No reason in the world that it should take that long, according to my partner who works in food service as a cook. Bad for them, they could get sued by people with disabilities like mine this way. People with medical-issues beware.

Located downtown Saint Joseph, Michigan, this restaurant reminds me of an old school cafe where all the locals hang. Great experience! The food was okay. I tried the biscuits and gravy, chili, grits, and one of the scrambles. The chili was my favorite, and the other menu items were okay. I do not recommend the grits as they were not cooked at all. The service was amazing! There is really great staff that helped us with the menu and kept the water cups full! I love their spirit! The atmosphere was okay. I enjoyed the pictures in the restaurant but the restaurant appeared dingy. However, this restaurant is a place where locals come to eat a solid dish, so it doesn't matter so much of the appearance. Overall, it was an okay experience at Thornton's Hometown Cafe!

I go to A LOT of bakeries all over Michigan , Ohio and Indiana. I'm trying to find the best cannoli scones + chocolate croissant. This is the best chocolate croissant I've EVER tasted. It was so good. I had to go back and buy four more.

This is a delightful little bakery, and both the atmosphere and the baked goods are nice. It’s a charming little space with professional staff. The baked goods are delicious. I sampled several different items. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and the French bread had some nice chew while retaining a soft interior. They have jams for sale too, and the Dutch apple pie jam is great on their bread. It turns every slice into a great dessert. The cookies were also scrumptious. Overall I think this is an excellent bakery.

Bring your appetite and patience. Over sized breakfast pastrys are at the ready. They have some other breakfast options as well. Of, course they have plenty of breakfast drink options. A cute little shop to peruse while you wait for your choice. They have a sit down deli across the street as well and plenty of outside seating to relax and enjoy your food and morning. I had the incredible biscuit, which lived up to its name. I really wanted the cinnamon roll as it also looked incredible.

Drew Logan is a phenomenal pastry chef. We hired Froehlich's for our wedding dessert and there was not one dessert left at the end of the night. We went with the chocolate cake, cheesecake, key lime glasses and Carrot Pineapple Rum Cake for our mini dessert options and the chocolate cake for our main two tier cake. He was very great to work with as well! I would recommend hiring Froehlich's for any pastry needs!

Went here after reading a review that they had a delicious breakfast wrap and it didn't disappoint! My husband loved their wrap (he preferred it without the olives) and I had the most delicious biscuit egg sandwich with a homemade biscuit to die for!! We went for breakfast here twice during our trip since it was delicious and they have outdoor tables where we could have our dog sit with us. Their chai latte is also delicious. The food does take a bit to prepare but they have items you can look at while you wait.

Five stars for this fantastic Bakery, and all things for the kitchen shop. We were visiting the New Buffalo area from Chicago and we are so happy we traveled to this lovely shop. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and quickly got us all of the jams and jellies and pastries and breads and take home pre-made Gourmet Quality Foods that we could pack in our car! We bought plenty of jars of jam so we can bring them home and give them as gifts.

What an amazing bakery this was! The flatbread is to die for. I wish I was closer so I could come here everyday. My family will definitely be stopping every time we drive through.

Food was excellent, had two eggs over medium with what toast and veggie sausage. Excellent!! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the blueberry pancakes. They came out looking beautiful and fluffy. In reality we had to use a knife to cut and the pancake itself was very very dense. I happen to prefer fluffier and more tender pancakes with more blueberries than what they served to us.

The service and food were fantastic. We had pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and collared greens that were all to die for. 100% would recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality food served fast.

Stopped in for a delicious, Southern-tinged lunch at Viola Cafe. I had brisket and 2 sides (jalapeño corn slaw & potato salad). All were terrific, especially with the house-made BBQ sauce. My lunch companions had biscuits and gravy and gumbo, which they loved. Fantastic cold brew coffee, too. Co-owner Scott was so friendly and explained the origin of many of the items on the menu. The whole staff was great. Highly recommended.

At 50 years old, I can honestly say I just had the best pancakes of my life. Absolute 🔥!! I Loved the atmosphere, with the old, vintage, country-wholesome music. First time visit for brunch and it was delicious! A hidden gem that I didn’t know was here but when friends mentioned it I had to give it a try. A great Mexican flair which is nice and unexpected coming in. Unfortunately I didn’t try anything with their flavor but the biscuits and gravy with hash brown and eggs were a delight. Everything had good flavor and it wouldn’t be complete without some delicious coffee. Meal was under $16 which is impressive around this area. All around was this was an exceptional experience and definitely recommend to all. A big thanks to Gabriella for her friendly professional service. She was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Mexican omelette. I can't describe what it was other than a tasteless overcooked maybe frittata masquerading as an omelet? The hash browns were similarly tasteless. The toast was ok. The "sauce" was about as bland as bland could be! Why try to anglicize the "Mexican" - put some spices - cumin, pepper flakes, maybe green chiles - would not recommend this dish! First, what I don't like about this place; It's too far from where I live! We were in town for a wedding and looked online for a good breakfast place. All of the wonderful reviews turned out to be true. The place was hammered but the staff kept everything moving. After a short wait we got our table and our coffee. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I chose a Country Omelet which was sausage and mushroom smothered with a delicious gravy. My lovely bride opted for a lunch burrito after seeing one delivered to another table. Pepe' was an excellent server. Give them a try.

Overall, this place has great energy and great food and drinks highly recommend visiting this place. Me and my girlfriend came here from out of town from Columbus Ohio. We will definitely be visiting again when we come back in town. I come here super regularly. I feel like I have that option because of their reasonable prices. The coffee and blt bagel are always great and a good & consistent when I have a little extra time. They’re always pretty fast too. The best place to get a quick breakfast/lunch.

the bagels are so fantastic that we went here two days in a row. definitely recommend the sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel with cream cheese! the cafe is kind of cafeteria style where you order and go down the line to get a coffee and pay for your food but it all moves efficiently.

I had coffee. I didn't eat any food, but it all looked delightful. I had a cherry chocolate latte. It was very good. I love the Broad Street Cafe. It isn't huge, but I love the family atmosphere. There is enough room for people to have a private conversation without worrying that someone else will over hear, but still small enough to engage with conversation with others.

I'm a truck driver who was very much looking forward to eating here because they're always packed at all their locations and this was the 2nd time in my life I've ever been able to ! I should've gone to bed . Came in an 1.5 hrs before they closed, they had 3 tables. One was a larger party of 6-7 and I think at least 2 servers. I wasn't in a rush but took 20 minutes for my food to arrive ( she never did give me my banana bread!!) never asked how it was .. no question about a refill of my drink .. oh 😂 and I had to ask for silverware when she brought my food!! The food , mediocre at best . No lemon for the lemon chicken breast plate.. and the absolute smallest and thinnest chicken breast I've ever seen at a sit down restaurant! I ordered a to go meal that I could heat up and it came with eggs/American fries ( that were extra ) and an extra order of sausage as one came with the meal...) And 1 lemonade.. $31 bucks .. and they gave me bacon instead of you know the sausage they're most famous for .. I called after I saw my to go order, manager was very nice but it's apparent to me whomever owns this restaurant works the guy to death .. I'd heard him say he had come in at 4:30 am that morning for a catering order ( he was chatting with what I think were regulars) and was closing the restaurant tonight!! And had to open the next morning... Friendly professional manager you should be proud of but indifferent staff in my opinion. Invest in better training or better employees for service positions . It's a shame as this experience has made me never want to return to one their restaurants in the future!! 10 stars for the underappreciated manager!! Pics posted

They serve liquid plastic for butter. Banana bread was awful after I ordered a biscuit! Food took extremely long to prepare, and when it finally came, I was told it would take another 15 min for the biscuit, I thought, wow, I just waited 25 min for breakfast. Why weren't the biscuits made during the wait? The protein bowl was good, but very few veggies. I will not return!

5+5+5+👍 Alexis was our server, and the manager Kay actually cooked our meal because she was the only one in at the time. Besides Alexis. My son had the omelette with almost everything but the kitchen sink, and I just had the steakhouse burger with fries. Alexis kept coming and checking, kept our glasses full, and I would have to also mention, the food was piping hot. I actually had to let it cool for a minute before I could eat it. He establishment was well stocked and clean, the bathrooms were clean at least the men's bathroom lol. And you know what they say, clean bathrooms equal clean kitchens. As you can see, I've been doing this for a while. I'm a level 10 and have hundreds of reviews. And for the life of me, I cannot understand why this establishment was so sparsely attended. I've been to many many restaurants, nowhere near as respectable as this, so I'm just wondering why it's not packed. That's a shame, people will drive forever to go to a place that's not as good because it's out of their particular area. Do yourself a favor and stop in here, it's the real deal. 🤜🏽🤛🏿

We really enjoy Bob Evans near our home so we were happy to find one right off the freeway. We were greeted and seated promptly but our server never came. We waited 20 minutes and could see our server cleaning other tables and checking in with other customers but never came to even give us water. We ended up leaving hungry.

Four of us ate here today. The service was terrible but at least the girl was nice. My friend had to ask for her drink refills each time. It took forever for someone to even come over and take our order but then when we got our food, three out of four had a bad experience. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak $8.99 meal. One server had started taking the order and then the other one came and finished it. She was brought a dinner plate with chicken fried steak that has two steaks on it. She said hey, I did not order this I ordered the 899 meal and the girl said well the other person just wrote down Chicken Fried steak. She had to ask for the manager to adjust the price. Her mashed potatoes were cold and her green beans were just okay.. I ordered the Community sampler breakfast. One egg, two pieces of bacon and I ordered mine with toast. My friend with the chicken fried steak had biscuits. We weren't brought any butter or jelly or anything. All of that was fine but it took about 10 more minutes for my French fries to come out. And then there was just a tiny handful. We had to go hunt down the sauce that was requested. My friend asked for a manager but the manager didn't come. However the server came back and showed us the receipt where He adjusted the price to be $8.99 as it should have been. And then they didn't charge me for my French fries. So at least the manager trying to make it right but the service was not very good. The boats were very dirty with stains. Come on manager you can do better than this. You're not even trying in This falls on the manager and not anyone else. It look like they're only two people out front. My food was okay at best. My friends chicken fried steak looked kind of gross. Pale and soft. Yuck. Then the other two guys one of them got bacon cheeseburger and the other one got biscuits and gravy. The one with the cheeseburger I had no complaints at all. He had fries as well and ate everything on his plate. The plate with the biscuits and gravy came with home fries and they were basically almost black they were overcooked so bad. He didn't want to send them back because he didn't want to be a bother. Also the biscuits and gravy barely had any gravy on it. Why skimping like that? There's so many other places people can go eat. We're not going to go back to this when it Benton Harbor but we will go back to the one in Holland or kalamazoo. They are both great all the way around.

I would highly recommend Bob Evans restaurant! Our waitress was super sweet and it kind of had a store/diner vibe. We ordered the honey butter chicken… oh my freaking God it was so delicious. I also ended up scoring a T-shirt, they had a sale going on for $5! It was right through the parking lot at our hotel and was super convenient and turned out to be delicious as well.

It was a half empty restaurant and we were seated by the bathroom. It took 10 minutes for the waitress to approach us. She was very friendly once she came to our table. Placed our order and it was another 10 minutes before we got our drinks. I had potato soup and 1/2 turkey sandwich, the soup was excellent. Very hearty. We waited for our check, gave up and went to pay. We had to wait for the hostess.

Smelled like a McDonald’s play place. I’ve never been to a Panera that doesn’t smell like fresh baked bread. But the entire place had the weirdest stale old smell. All the light yellow/tan backrests for the booths were stained brownish gray where people sit. The soda had an off taste no matter which one I chose. They were out of their iced green tea. And lastly even though there was a person up front he refused to take my husbands order or even acknowledge him and chose to just stack up the buzzer things instead. Very odd place. Won’t be coming back.

I haven’t been to this Panera in a while, but I have to say, I don’t think I have ever seen someone take so much pride in his job in customer service. Nate took our order (I think that was his name - he was a tall younger guy), and even my kids left saying he was the nicest guy. My kids were a little indecisive and he patiently explained menu items to them, and he made a recommendation to help me save money on the order. He made polite conversation with my kids and I, and he smiled the entire time like he was waiting to talk to us about the Panera menu all day. He even came by our table while we were eating to see how we liked everything and jokes with my kids. He didn’t have to do that because he’s not a waiter, but he treated us like we were at a 5 star restaurant. Everyone should be so lucky to have a Nate in their staff. He was outstanding.

I am not a fan of the automation at Panera. You place your order yourself and pick up your own food. I had a buzzer to tell me when my food was ready, but I saw my food sitting at the pick up area for three or four minutes-so I took it..and my buzzer never went off. Also, since no one is working at the register… It seems like the restaurant should be very clean with the extra staff working in those areas… But as you can see in the pictures, things were kind of messy. But I sure love the French onion soup and as long as they continue serving it very hot, I will probably continue to eat it - even though I am unhappy about the new way I have to order!

Stopped here a little after lunch time for a quick bite while driving through Michigan. We ordered on the app and set the pickup time for 20 minutes later and didn’t get our food until 20 minutes after our designated time. Food tasted good, but we were given a different cookie than what was ordered and no one discussed this change with us. Also, don’t order the Italian Market salad if you’re not planning to dine in. The soppressata is left in large slices and not easy to eat.

Writing a review because I have gotten flip flop cookies since I got my first job. This is the worst, I repeat the worst flip flop cookie I have ever seen and it cost me $3. I could get a better looking cookie from a kid at a flea market.

Maybe it is the location, but they always seem to struggle to have a clean restaurant. The food was good and the person taking our order was very nice. However, no toweling in the restroom, drink service area was messy. And, I had to correct 2 of our orders. They were busy, but just always seems to be a wee bit messy whenever I stop in.

Paul Saber, Manna CEO - Penny wise, pound foolish. He’s done it again. Out with the trustworthy SOLO coffee lids that always stay on. In with the cheaper no-name lids that must save a few cents. This morning I VERY carefully applied the lid to my coffee. A few minutes later, as I exited my car the cheap lid popped off. I got a major “coffee bath” in my lap and coffee all around the driver’s side of my car’s interior. The very same “bath” happened to me the last time Paul’s Panera went to no-name lids a few years ago. The same mistake twice. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Absolutely horrible the food was either over cooked or under cooked it sat for at least 15 min in the kitchen before bringing to the table because everything was cold, the hash browns were burnt, the French toast was only dipped on one side with egg it looked as if the cooked a whole egg on one side of the French toast, the scrambled eggs were also over cooked and disgusting, the over easy eggs were barely cooked at all, the pancakes were dont on 1 side, they remade the scrambled eggs but they came out under cooked and more like a omelette not scrambled. When we said something they didn’t seem like they even cared. The owner took 25% off the bill but to be honest we should have had more that. We left more than half the food on the table because it was awful and we didn’t have time for them to remake it a third time. I definitely would not recommend eating here McDonald’s would probably do a better job. Absolutely disappointed with the food and the customer service please fire your cook before they ruin your business. Response to owner response…. Umm did you see the attached photos? This is not how food should ever be served and when brought to the attention of the waitress she acted as if she didn’t care that the food wasn’t served properly, unfortunately we couldn’t wait for our food to be made a third time it was unacceptable to eat then only offer 25% when you didn’t prepare the food correctly not once but twice in a row is an insult, I paid the bill regardless but it was a complete waste of money we didn’t eat half of what was ordered. To say that you couldn’t make us happy is sad considering we only wanted good food that was cooked properly and edible. Your cook didn’t have the grill on the right temp or the food would have cooked the proper way also it wasn’t even busy or I could understand the mess up not to mention our waitress didn’t ask us if we wanted re fills we had to flag her down and other people who came in 15 min after us were served their food before us and we ordered the basic food 2x2x2x2 for 3 of us and the other order scrambled eggs hash browns and bacon. Sorry but to not take accountability for your cook and your businesses is shocking considering you need customers to survive. I had the Oinkers skillet. For $16 there wasn't a lot of food. Mainly potatoes with some mushrooms and green peppers and a little ham. I never tasted any sausage or bacon. Maybe I misread the menu. The restaurant itself is rundown and in bad need of paint and fixing torn upholstery.

I had the country fried steak and eggs. The steak still had a lot of oil dripping from it, but it was crispy and flavorful. The american potatoes were slightly undercooked, under-seasoned, and I would not order those again if I ever return. They would benefit from washing down the walls and vents. The place wasn't busy (I don't know if they do mobile orders, or were busy behind the scenes), but the waitstaff could use a little pep in their step, and check in on their customers a little more. Overall, I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't be opposed to eating there again, but not my first choice.

Family friendly old style diner! Absolutely love Rise & Shine. I've been going here for over 25 years. It only got better after changing hands a long time ago. The ladies who own & operate this joint are 1st class! Three BEST breakfast food around. Period. No questions asked y'all. It's also where I take my 4 kiddos for their "breakfast with Dad" birthday tradition.

My Granddaughter told me that this was her favorite place so I took her there after picking her up from a morning class. She got the Belgian waffle. I went for eggs over easy and hash browns with bacon. It was great! I'll be back with the grandkids!

Quaint diner with very nice atmosphere. The food is a great value and great flavor. Pancakes were very fluffy but dense and great flavor! Even the eggs tasted better than other breakfast cafes. I ended up here one morning about 10 years ago. I had a giant omelette with sausage gravy. To this day it remains the best thing I ever ate and I think about this place all the time. I tell everyone I can in Chicago to find this place if they are driving around the lake. I think anyone who finds themselves nearby should go. Edit: just now seeing it appears to be take out only these days. That’s a bummer, because the inside was really lovely and comfortable, but I can only imagine how covid mixed things up. The food was the best part, so I still give my full recs and I’m glad I got to try the sit down experience when I did.

This is carry out only and we were not aware of this on our visit so just an FYI . The woman at the window was so kind and courteous and really just made my day the way she works what I believe is her business. I had a simple breakfast of eggs over easy, hash brown potatoes, rye toast, and coffee. Everything was hot and delicious and what I consider very reasonably priced. Most highly recommend

Take-out only because it’s family owned and most of the family left except for the cook and Shelley, but everything is freshly made, home cooked, and Shelley is so kind and friendly! Reminds me of someplace I would find back at home (Utah). Definitely worth the wait and I would come back again! Make sure to call ahead and show support to such a rare gem and great establishment!

I can't say enough good things about this place! I do need to inform readers right away that this is a cash only business. We were greeted cheerfully and seated immediately. The level to which they allow guests to re-pirtiin and customize what they want is unprecedented in my experience. My husband ordered half a hungry mountain and loved it. I ordered a 2 egg southern omelette with a side of half order American fries. Skipped on toast. I really enjoyed my breakfast. It was still big and I think next time I would ask for half the sausage stuffing. Do make this a breakfast stop when in the area.

Your typical small town greasy spoon (a good thing), with good food and good friendly service. Where the locals eat. I could have eaten a 4th piece of the paper thin bacon, and the large serving of American fries were ok, but not the best I've ever had. My mom said that her large Chef's salad was good. Overall a good meal at a good price.

Stop by this small little local restaurant. Service was fantastic and they were busy. If you leave this restaurant hungry it is your own fault. Portions are large. Every plate that went by were piled high with food. The prices were very reasonable. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. Kudos to the cook for cooking a perfect medium rare steak. Although my husband asked for steak sauce, not one time did he use it because the steak was seasoned perfectly, tender and juicy. He only wanted to ruin a beautiful piece of meat with his teeth. That he did. The heuvos rancheros was good but the corn tortillas were over fried too dark and crispy. The chorizo tasted a little weird. Definitely not my favorite. I felt like I was eating chorizo tostados or chalupas. I was disappointed even though it did taste fairly good overall. But I will probably try something different next time. Don't let the huevos rancheros turn you away, it just wasn't the flavors I expected and there are a lot of chorizo that taste different than others. But you have to try their steak and eggs. I wanted to try their blueberries and cheesecake stuffed french toast. Will do it next time. So please don't miss this little gem. Our server was fantastic and did a wonderful job even though they were very busy. Kudos to the entire team at Hot Spot for all their hard work. The team truly shined in this little restaurant and you could tell they cared about their customers. Thanks for making our Sunday breakfast extremely enjoyable.

Best damned food and service I've had in a while. The biscuits and gravy were certainly something to brag about. Not a lot of places can brag about that, but they sure can! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage was good and not that grizzled crap you normally get at a lot of restaurants. The waitress was super friendly too.

I visited Hot Spot twice while in town for a few days. The vegetarian burger was so good! The people were nice and I fully enjoyed my two meals there. Note: When I was there, it was a cash-only situation.

Our waitress was great. She was very friendly and checked on us to make sure we had what we needed. My kids had the chicken wrap waffles and kid pizza. The kid pizza was ok but the big kids loved the chicken wrap and waffle. I had the cheddar burger and the cheese was a bit much but the pattie was good.

Fourth of July weekend can be busy but worth the wait! Delicious baked goods (savory and sweet) and always new drink options available. Tried the vegetarian pasty, chocolate croissant, and apple fritter. All delicious.

We got married on June 1st 2025 and we chose Black Currant Bakehouse for our cake and a couple of cupcakes! The tasting process was seamless, communication was great, and Katie and the staff were wonderful! Nothing but kindness and professionalism throughout the entire experience. Black Currant is incredibly accommodating with so many awesome vegan options that taste absolutely wonderful. I was so happy with our cake and it was genuinely one of the most delicious and beautiful pieces I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Couldn't have asked for a better dessert experience for our wedding - I highly recommend Black Currant Bakehouse if you want a phenomenal cake and phenomenal experience. Thank you so much for giving us the best, most beautiful wedding dessert, and we can't wait to come get some more sweets when we're in the area next.

We absolutely love this little bakery here. It gets slammed in the summertime with a line out the door, but for good reason. They have a big selection of donuts, muffins, cookies/brownies, quiches, cakes, and more (including a gf / vegan pastry option). They also have some delicious sandwiches that they serve after 11am, and their coffee options are great too. We love to come back here!

Stopped in for a sandwich, their power was out so unavailable. Not a problem! I grabbed a slice of vegan coffee cake, and truthfully I have never had something like this before. Unsure what they use, however there was more oil residue than anything ): Tried to eat it but it turned my stomach due to this. Including a photo of the oil soaked parchment paper and box. Not sure if I just got a bad batch or if this is their norm, however have never had a vegan/GF product like this before. The person at the counter that greeted me was very kind though so points for that.

Very small selection of cookies, donuts and mini cupcakes is all this place had. It was a disappointment, but I decided to get a cookie. I inquired about anything like a croissant or plain donut stating I wanted to give my pup, who was in the car, a treat. The worker, I think owner, acted offended that I would give any of her superior bakery goods to a dog. Honestly, she should be honored that I wanted to share her baked goods with my fur baby.vs acting offended. I would not recommend this store based on the tiny selection, the high prices and mostly, her superior attitude.

Really great bakery just off 94 with delicious baked goods, great coffee. Thats the good news....now the Not so good! The flow in the bakery is terrrible 1. The staff dont direct the flow 2. Patrons stand in front of the baked goods case so no one behind them can view if asked next for their order. 3. To get coffee you need to have given your baked goods order 4. The staff are not organized 5. They cantbreak a large cash bill when they first open and finally the door to the rest room is very dirty amd no one has cleaned it in months! A+ on the bakery items, D- on the other items! Figure out how to serve your customers more efficiently and the clean the rest room door!

I have been in to eat here probably 10 times in the last 3 weeks. Absolutely delish. I am celiac so I have to be careful of where I eat. I have never gotten sick after eating here. The broccoli cheddar soup is to die for and you can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches. Highly recomend.

This is my favorite coffee shop to stop at when I am in town. It has a great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, excellent coffee. It is a place where you can grab a cup of coffee and go, or you can hang out for a while. They even have a selection of books and games for you if you wish to use them. It's definitely a place to go if you are in the area. I will continue to keep coming back.

Was out and about running errands, and found myself especially hungry yesterday morning, so I stopped into this cute little spot by the name of Union Coffee House & Cafe. Feeling the need for a pick-me-up, I opted for some coffee as well as a bite to eat. Today, I picked up The Love Affair latte, which has in addition to espresso has vanilla, almond, and nutmeg. With the vanilla and almond being more subtle flavors in the drink, it really allows the space for the nutmeg to be the star of the show in this delicious love triangle. Used oat milk for the base to make this a wonderful plant-based option. In between sips, I also enjoyed a carrot muffin, baked to soft perfection. For a vegan muffin, it was actually one of the better ones I've had. Oftentimes they can be a bit dry, but this little pastry was baked to perfection. With an earthy sweetness from the carrot, this muffin paired very well with The Love Affair for a great start to my day. Looking forward to stopping in again!

Stopped in twice while visiting MI. My iced mocha with oat milk hit the spot! Also ordered the black bean avo toast and vegan carrot muffin, both delicious! I loved the interior and exterior of the building; it once operated as a bank. Cool vibes. Friendly staff.

Love this coffee shop/cafe! I travel to Buchanan for work so whenever I am here, I make sure to come for my favorite almond milk chiller and salad! I love this cafe so much. It has amazing drinks AND food so good place to stop for breakfast or lunch too. Highly recommend!! Xx

Atmosphere AND customer service? What a win! My daughter and I stopped in for a quick brunch. We had a bowl of tomato basil soup and a deluxe grilled cheese. It was complete perfection. This is the food you expect in a 5 star fancy cafe. The shop is adorable. The staff is friendly and the food omg 🤌. We also ordered iced mountain mint mocha coffee that was amazing as well. We will be back 🫶

Food was fantastic had the black bean avocado alfalfa sprout toast, it had great flavor. Grilled ham and egg sandwich was awesome.

Located in Berrien Springs, Michigan, Nikki's Cafe is a low-key, down to earth Cafe. There was a ton of history in this restaurant. The food was okay. I enjoyed the eggs, grilled onions, chopped steak, and grits. The menu items were not bad in pricing. To my surprise, an older restaurant like this serves vegan and vegetarian food. It showed they are serving all foodies. The service was great! I appreciate the hospitality and the way they treat their customers. The atmosphere appeared to gear toward an older crowd, but the restaurant was clean and homey. There were a lot of black and white pictures on the wall, and the restaurant did not appear to be updated in years. Nikki's Cafe was good overall. The cafe only takes cash only. I'm grateful for the experience!

DELICIOUS!!! Beyond reasonable prices. All pictured was $30 total. One of the best spinach and feta omelettes I've ever had. The country fried steak was so tender and delicious. That giant bowl of hearty oatmeal with bananas, blueberries and pecans... what a treat! Served with brown sugar and milk. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. No masks worn by staff or patrons and it's cash only at this time. We will definitely be back!

There is a lot of food for the price. The male server that seated us was awesome, unlike the female who basically thru the water on our table and stormed away without a hello, or she would be right back. Her face said it all, Grumpy and Smirky looking and walked about like she was better than everyone in there. We will not go back there again.

Nikki’s Cafe in Berrien Sorings lives up exactly what you would expect from a small town breakfast and lunch spot. Decor is pleasant and well maintained. The food was served promptly in hearty portions. The service is pleasant and friendly. Be advised, this is a cash only establishment.

**Update May 28, 2023 Had the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Special today, with fried eggs. So good! My friend ordered the strawberry pancakes. Big as the dinner plate, topped with real strawberry sauce. Next time he'll order two instead of three. It was a lot of food! Service was a little slower than usual, but the food was worth the wait. 🙂 --Nikki's is a nice little diner. The food is good, attractive decor, good location. Phone lines are down, and it is cash only now. Hours posted on window, but it hadn't always been open when I tried. Otherwise, it's a good spot, beloved by locals, many of whom use the back entry.

Stellar all around. The owners have curated various lovely pieces of art, including stained glass windows. As a plant lover myself, I adored being surrounded by greenery, especially outside. Their multi level patio area sits along the water, adding to the nature. The food, baked goods and coffee were all great, and the young employees working there were adorable and super nice. Well done, can’t wait to go back.

Complete underwhelming experience. Been here a few times because we love the ambiance, that said, this visit was a reminder that atmosphere only goes so far if the experience doesn’t match. The younger staff has always been great, friendly, attentive, and they usually make the coffee for you and bring it to your table. This time, the older gentleman at the front took our order and seemed less than interested in providing good service. I ordered an iced coffee with creamer… Instead of preparing the overpriced coffee for you, there was an uncovered metal bowl of half-and-half sitting out for self service. Not exactly the warm, thoughtful service we’ve had before… We also decided to try the avocado toast for the first time… and probably the last. It was barely toasted sliced bread with avocado that was cut like a child’s meal. No seasoning, no garnish, no creativity. At $12.50 (plus $3.50 to add an egg), it felt more like something you’d throw together at home than a menu-worthy dish, especially at that price point. One of the younger staff members did end up bringing some seasoning and sliced tomato to try to recover the sad $16 sliced toast. Details matter, and that’s what keeps people coming back. This time it was a dud.

From the moment you see the building, you’re drawn in by its beauty and lush greenery. As you explore more, there is a feeling that every party there is having their own fun and unique experience. I’m so happy to we decided to visit and was pleasantly surprised with the high quality scratch cooking food. Don’t pass on the sweet potato tacos, we added the chorizo and avocado to balance it out. The Ken’s #2 omelet was as hearty as it sounds from the menu description. Expect a line, though it goes quickly. Add Clifford’s to your list of spots you can’t miss when enjoying the west side of Michigan.

This may be the cutest coffee shop and right on the canal, loved it!! Coffee was good and so was the food. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking in their lot. I only docked a star because the prices are higher than any other coffee shop I’ve been (that I can remember).

Wonderful setting on the Canal with seating outside or inside. Lush gardens add to the ambiance. We enjoyed the Huevos Racheros with corn tortillas. Staff was polite and informative.

Took them a half hour to give me burnt fries (crunchy through and through) and a Dr Pepper. Absolutely awful. Good luck finding a clean table as well. Additionally they forgot about my wife’s order and gave it to her cold anyways. Don’t offer to replace the COLD fries or anything. No salt either. What a joke.

It’s a McDonalds and it’s close to the freeway, we were tired and hungry and need of a rest as were travelling interstate and farther north into Michigan. We don’t exactly come into McDonald’s with high expectations but the chicken strips and fries we ordered were fine. The service was slow as it seemed they were under staffed with just one guy serving both indoor and drive through customers at the same time. He was very apologetic though that we had to wait. Finished off with an ice cream sundae topped off with caramel which we actually took out to the car to have as it was so cold inside with their air conditioning.

Average MCD. I can’t help myself I love a Big Mac.McFish,fries and an incomparable fizzy coke. Service was slow. I don’t like the new seating in any of the newer McD. After all is said I love McD.

For the love of God please either close this location and sell to another business who knows how to make decent food or get better management. Food is literally inedible. At 1230, every table was dirty. A ton of people standing around waiting for their food. When I finally got my meal, half of the condiments were smeared on the outside of the buns. The meat was only half way inside the buns. The fries were only like warm. I don't see any need to return to this store.

The workers sit on their phones more than anything else, on more than one occasion. The mangers are trashing this place . They’ve got a lobby PACKED FULL and these people aren’t bothering to work .

This McDonald's is always slow but the food is fine . However, this time there were overflowing garbage cans and one missing garbage can with garbage on the floor , in the restaurant....thats just not acceptable even if it is just fast food!

Friendly staff,seem clean, prices were okay, food wasn't homemade, our soup was room temperature seem from a can had process cubes of beef, roast beef seem freezer burnt and old,as aujus as well. Sweet Pototoes fries were good,Had the Monte cistro sandwich as well Was hot and freshly grilled, good size sandwich full of ham and cheese.

I stopped for lunch and was seated right away. My server came right over and took my order, I went with the Hot Turkey sandwich. After a short wait, she came back with my meal. The Turkey looked home-cooked, thick sliced and tasty. After trying it, I noticed the Turkey was on the dry side, but the gravy helped with that. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy and good with the gravy. Overall, this is the type of place I like to eat at, and I will be back.

I been visiting this place for a bit now after discovering it two years ago. The food is great, the service is a plus and a very family feel like place, visit and spend some quality time will you eat delicious food 😋

UPDATE: 5/17 went for lunch. Is this normal? Order Dr. Pepper & decaf coffee waitress brought drinks. I asked is that decaf coffee? Clearly was not in the recognized orange café. She told me "Yes!" benefit of the doubt I said I hope so. Next, we wait for our burger and club sandwiches. Another waitress serves my husband's burger to another table. We watch as that waitress then goes back the burger from the other table goes back towards the kitchen pickup window and hands the burger plate to our waitress. Our waitress brings to our table. Yes, we should have left. Then my husband watches as my club sandwich makes its way past us and back to another table. Our waitress must have been delivering another plate of food. Again benefit of the doubt. She brought the club sandwich back to our table. She asked if I wanted a refill of coffee I said yes. She brought regular pot back. I said again decaf? Oh right, she went back and got the decaf pot! Yep, you know it as the orange cafe. I told the person at the counter when we left. See above♠︎| Breakfast was good with friends for a couple of years here.

The service was excellent and fast. The atmosphere was good, and as expected. I got the gyro omelette, which was my first time having it. Not a big fan, but the food was still good regardless. I have zero complaints. A perfect place to bring the family for a good quick breakfast.

I had had pleasant experiences here in the past, but the rudeness of one of the waitresses made me not want to return. Everyone else was so very nice but the one was very demeaning to other waitresses and seemed to see it as though it was a privilege to even have her there. Since that experience I've ordered take out twice, and got food poisoning both times, the most recent instance the worst I've ever experienced. Highly advise against their chicken portobella, didn't see it on the menu at all so I'm assuming it was a special.

Nice little diner. The best thing about thos place is the servers. Our waitress went above and beyond for her customers took the time to cut up some pancakes for an elderly customer. Nice to see such kindness

If I could rate Hilltop a zero I would. When we first went in they were busy, no problem. Initially we were greeted and we're asked what we would like to drink and it was brought by that individual not a server immediately. After that we sat for over 10 minutes without even being looked at. Just remember if you go here and are not a regular don't expect any service.

I stumbled upon this place and it is awesome! The staff was on it, and the food tasted amazing! It was down to earth and very clean! I would say if you are around this place and want great service with good mood food you'll want to give this place a chance!

4.4 isn't an accurate rating. The crepes were not good. The Bavarian cream tasted like cheap pudding and the crepes themselves were not good. The burger was a perfect medium, but was a frozen patty. I'm assuming the owners were there. I wasn't sure as they did not address any customer. I would not recommend for the price. A little steep for corner cutting product. I can say the cook did the best with what they were working with.

Food is always good and the portions are also good. I always leave full and happy. From the burgers, to the dinners, to breakfasts. I have ordered more than half the menu here and recommend this place for a good meal and a good environment. Always feel like I am at home here.

Favourable ambience as most of seating was near to each other. Delicious seafood dishes. Though the white fish was little saggy. Over giving it long they should cut into pieces and cook. Sweet potato fries quantity is good, two can eat in one. Prices are reasonable. Service was good.

I've eaten here twice now and both times we're enjoyable. It's your standard small town diner with good food and friendly service. The most recent time I had the Meat Lovers Skillet. For whatever reason, the breakfast skillets are only available Monday through Friday, which is too bad for weekend patrons, because it was delicious. My girlfriend had a standard breakfast of eggs, bacon and hash browns. The bacon was great, cooked just right.

This is our second time ordering carryout. They were friendly and efficient and food was very good, generous portions. Really enjoyed the pattymelt and the open faced roast beef.

We’ve been coming for years and have gotten to know the owners and staff. The menu is extensive and all the dishes are delicious. We always bring family and friends who are visiting who are not disappointed.

My food was good, but the portions of some items were small. I loved the avocado toast.. I don't remember what my son ordered but he wasn't pleased with the small portion size, it didn't look very appetizing because they had just plopped it on the plate . I know that whatever he had included corn chips but there were only two of them.

We ate here on our adventure vacation exploring Lake Michigan beaches. And we are so glad we did! For drinks I had the boozy mocha and my husband had the spike iced chai latte. Both were good but the chai was the clear winner of the two. My husband had the el Mexicano scrambler dish and had the huevos rancheros. Delish dishes and the guacamole was on point bringing all the flavors together on both plates.

Food was excellent, but expected more for the price. Appreciated that they had a gluten free waffle. The wait was 25 minutes on a late Sunday morning. Once we got sat, no one came to the table for what felt like another 10 minutes, not even someone with water.

I live close by so I've been here many times but always try to avoid it. The food is what it is, McDonald's. The service is one of the worst in any fast food. Wait times are terrible, orders are wrong more often than right, on multiple occasions had to wait 20-30 minutes because they gave our food out to the wrong person and had to double the long wait. Go to any other fast food places around here. The manager running this should be fired because it's horrible.

This McDonald’s is so disappointing every time I go. It actually made me stop eating McDonald’s for a while but every few months I always go back to see if maybe they got better….nope the food is still bad. My fries were stale and cold. The quarter pounder patty always tastes odd…. I would rather drive 20mins to a different McDonalds than eat at this one. I was really disappointed on my visit to this location. The food was not handed to me but almost thrown on the counter at me. My large vanilla iced coffee had NO ice and was served in the wrong cup. The coffee was very warm. They wouldn't take my order at the counter and forced me use the kiosk even though there was no one else in the restaurant. I never received a receipt. The person who was working was super rude and unfriendly. I was truly disappointed. I called an 800 complaint number for McD's and they took my statement but I NEVER heard back. Needles to say I will NEVER go back to this location. I rather drive to the next town over if I have too.

Went to St Joe McDonald’s got half my order went back around went through side door bc half my order was not in my bag. She started yelling saying she’s gonna call the cops on me. So I went back around waiting in line for another 20 min asked for a refund she was rude rolled her eyes made me pull up and wait an extra 15 for my refund. Her name was Dina I’m a general manager at Jersey Mikes so I know what good customer service and hospitality is and SHE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE. Needs terminated. Also was brought out the incorrect refund twice and made to wait another 6 mins.

I had stopped going to the McDonald's on main street in elkhart for almost a year. First time back to see if they had new people working the night shift. Disappointed. Don't take your orders at the speaker ask you to drive around to the window to place your order. So you have to wait so much longer for your food. Not practical or fast.

I moved to the area recently and each experience has been poor. Last week, I ordered a breakfast sandwich at 1045 and drove to McDonald's. I had to wait in the line and didn't get to the front until 11:04. The cashier told me I'm not going to get my food because it's after 11. I said okay, but I already paid on the app and asked what to do. She gave me my receipt and told me to pull up and they might give it to me. I did as instructed and the lady at the second window was extremely rude to me. She was shaming me for ordering breakfast food during their lunch rush. Okay, the app allowed me to do so. I said it wasn't a big deal and asked for a refund and the told me I had to speak with a manager. I asked for the manager and she said he was busy... okay. I left frazzled and called the number on the receipt for a refund. The last I spoke to said she would forward the info to the manager and they would call me back within 48 hours. It's been over a week. Today, I go back to order a breakfast sandwich. It's a sausage egg and cheese bagel. When I open my sandwich in the parking lot, there is no egg and it is cold. The inside is closed, so I had to go back through the drive through line. When I get to the front, I show the lady my sandwich and explain it's missing egg. This is the same worker who was rude to me before. She tells me I need to give her the receipt, which thankfully I had, and to give her back the sandwich. The manager comes and asks if I want him just to put egg on the platter and to give me back the sandwich, or make a whole new one. I asked for a new one. The manager runs the sandwich out to me, and I am convinced they just plopped egg on the one I handed him back. *The reason I have gone back several times is because I'm pregnant and this is my one craving. I'm done with this location now.

I am from out of state and was just trying to grab a bite to eat after getting broke down in this town on my birthday trying to just stay positive when I walked into this store. If inner peace is your goal for the day do not enter. Managers were bickering in the dining room with someone higher up loudly on speaker. Female manager in person was being rude and had a terrible tone to the other worker. While my finance was getting his beverage workers told that rude woman he was recording her well she came and cornered me in the corner you wait for your food in. Asking about being recorded in my personal space and with a accusatory tone while causing a scene getting employees to join in. I just simply left after telling her I dont even live here. She has a terrible attitude and was threatening with her tone and the way she gave me no space as well as her accusations while she was the one screaming at and cutting of an employee in front of the whole store. First and foremost tray was NOT on the grill. Second there was cross contamination and it smelt like weed! I also tasted weed in my burger this is the worst McDonald’s ever yall are gonna start losing money over this and probably god I hope close down!

The chicken nuggets are a little cold plus I play Monopoly and that’s the only reason I’m ordering so much McDonald’s right now and like I ordered a slice piece chicken nugget and neither one of the chicken nuggets have a monopoly season there when they’re supposed to be two I literally specifically ordered this order so that I get the most monopoly pieces so I’m very upset. I’ve stopped by the Coloma McDonald’s many times, and they’ve consistently had quick service and friendly staff. Orders are usually accurate, the drive-thru moves fast, and the restaurant is kept clean. I especially appreciate that the employees seem to care about getting people in and out efficiently, even during the busier hours. Great spot to grab a bite when you're on the go through town.

Worked there and got fired when i had a situation with a ppo. and had to call the police before my shift the manager lori came outside harassing me after i had told them what was going on. then later that night wouldn't give me a break to get sum food. I went home sick they counted it as a walk off. Everyone was very mean it was dirtier then any other fast food i worked at and the flies are everywhere. they post ur attendance in the group chat. even tho mine was perfect u never kno wht someone is going thru. bad place

A well-made McMuffin in the morning can hit the sweet spot of breakfast comfort. Low point: If the fries are limp, if a sandwich arrives cold, if the drive-thru mix-ups happen — then the experience dips significantly. One especially serious report: hair in food. That’s obviously unacceptable under any standard. --- Value For what it offers, the price is reasonable. You’re not paying for fine dining — you’re paying for convenience, speed, familiarity. In that context, McDonald’s in Coloma gives acceptable bang for your buck. The “value meals” do what they promise: filling portions, recognizable tastes. However, when the food is mishandled, or service slips, the value diminishes quickly.

McDs is my goto food stop when on the road. I like them for clean bathrooms and reasonably priced, consistent food. I have to say McDs has gotten very expensive and the food portions smaller, with food quality inconsistent. Has everyone noticed that the Filet o Fish is now tiny, it doesn't even fill the bun. The fries were overcooked, the tables dirty, and the soda machine gave dispensed diluted coke. Complete waste of money.

Crappy service and always getting attitude and rude behavior from most of the workers. Most of the time im always missing something or the order is made wrong. This is like the 10th time in a row we ordered fries and they barely put anything in there. After the millionth time I decided to give them a bad review. Not going to this McDonald’s anymore and it sucks because the other 2 closest ones are in Buchanan and in south bend. So over this McDonald’s I hope they end up with new management and new workers.

Ordered the 2 cheeseburger and fries with a sweet tea. The fries were WAY too salty (I only got pictures of the fries. You can see the salt on them and the sweet tea was SO sweet it was almost clear!!! And the cheeseburger was not hot at all. I ended up throwing everything away... ugh what happened to quality control?

I don't know how they could possibly get every single item wrong. Plain food had toppings on it, mcflurry wasn't even mixed, just had Oreos on top, ice cream cone forgotten, somehow messed up a Carmel sundae, and the young lady with the huge pink braids at check out was rude. No point in asking them to fix anything, I know they wouldn't. Waste of time .When people are begging for jobs, how do people who obviously don't care still have jobs

Very lovely place, quiet and quaint. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is cozy, clean and the food is very good. They get the food out fairly quickly and the server was so sweet and attentive.

Perfect little local hole in the wall breakfast joint! Loved the 2 egg omelet and home style potato's. Clean , friendly, happy atmosphere. I'm happy to drive the 1h+ from IL just for this place again! 100/10

We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop at Hopper's for breakfast—and we’re so glad we did! The food was excellent and fresh. What really stood out was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner and her daughter were so friendly and kind—you can tell this is a family-run business that truly cares about its customers. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

This place has been a staple of my childhood while I was growing up in Berrien Springs and they have been around since, the food and people here are a delight to be had and despite the small size of the restaurant, it is still a very cozy and tasty place to get your breakfast or your lunch :) 5 Stars across the board

Stopped in for a quick restroom break and a quick bite along our travels. Food was "meh" had the classic bacon cheeseburger meal. A little skimpy on the toppings, burger was on the cool side. Fries were hot but very salty. Forgot pictures here though. Bathroom was also disgusting.. service was ok.

I haven’t been here in years because well as a local you hear what you hear. Decided I had some extra time and I’d pop in for lunch. Mannnn should have done that sooner. The food was amazing, service was good and place was clean!

Service was prompt. Food has went back down hill , fries were ice cold. All 4 medium frys were so cold nobody would eat them. Ordered 15 strips and a wrap meal. Their wasn’t 15 strips and the lettuce on the wrap taste old, Like bad. Brown in color. I didn’t write a review after last week, the tortilla wrap was hard on the end like they were closed probably and they still served it. With the last two visits being bad , I thought I might save someone else their money .

The food can be old and buns a little chewy and fry’s can get cold and very salty just like any other fast food place I’ve had the food when it’s fresh and hot and it was a huge difference would like to see more fresh hot fiid and want to see ketchup packets always in my bag I feel you should never ask if a customer wants ketchup I feel it should be in that bag when I see ketchup in my bag I always come back and hiring good faces that want to work and enjoy there jobs and care is very important over all not to much other then that to complain on I love Hardee’s and I want to see it do better can’t wait to come back for my doubles as I choose this for my new lunch spot

A cashier with straightened curly hair in a bun (I believe her hat said Hudson or something similar?) ignored me by playing on her phone before another woman had to come to the register to take my order. The second woman was very sweet and kind, but because of that first cashier I will not come back. That behavior was appalling and absolutely rude. Every time I would glance over, she would just be on her phone instead of helping her coworkers with the line. If someone doesn't want to work I believe they should just stay home.

The girl didn’t listen to my order when I ordered and gave me something totally different? I get the same coffee every time and it was no where close to what I ask for.. and the girl making the drinks were very rude !

This Starbucks is really the only option near us unless we want to drive to Stevensville, but it's pretty awesome and accessible despite being inside a grocery store. The staff is always friendly and my drink is always on the ready when I get there.

The cashier was constantly in her phone in a massive rush. Multiple times at that. Took my group of 4, 15 minutes to order and 20 minutes waiting for it to be completed. They also made the order incorrectly and all items came out several minutes apart. I watched multiple just decide to leave instead of standing there waiting. No refund or anything. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable to be mid rush and whip your phone out to send a text not do your job correctly

Just went to the Starbucks at this location. I ordered a tall mocha with 2 shots of expression. I received 2 shots of expression with chocolate. Seriously people??? It’s not that difficult! Unbelievable

The last time I used the mobile app to order & went to pick it up, the drinks were made wrong & the manager, who was working the drive-thru window refused to fix them. And then, when I called because they were marked wrong & we couldn't tell if my diabetic husband had actually gotten a Sugar-free drink, I was told he was busy & he hung up on me. I will NOT be back for the foreseeable future.

The egg in my Egg McMuffin was dry and old, but the rest of the sandwich seemed to taste well. The chicken in my son's McChicken Biscuit was delicious and flavorful, but the biscuit was stale. My wife's Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle sandwich smelled and tasted delicious. The hash browns were tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and overall delicious tasting.

I have been around many countries, but this was by far the worst McDonald's I have been. Their service is ultra slow and they messed up our order with no apology! We also ordered cookies for my son and it came after 35 mins, broken in pieces.

I waited 20 minutes in line and I was 4th in line to order. Of course by now breakfast is over which is why I went there to begin with. Now I have to pull over to wait for “fresh meat and fries” as the guy at the window says. When I get home and start eating my burger I realize that my burger is raw, I’m done with McDonald’s, time after time this place has disappointed or been a crazy wait time.

Four months later and they are permanently closed. Not surprised. This has got to be the worst fast food restaurant i have ever been to. The manager should be ashamed of their staff! As a matter of fact i don't think the manager even cares. This establishment deserves 0 stars. Corporate really needs to step in and do something about this location.

Even if enemies of your family are going here, you should advise them not to go....once.. We ordered apple pie 2 and blueberry pie 2. And we said McDonald's app code. But they doesn't use the app code. And they gave us appple 2 and blue berry pie 1 Many people know that they don't want to work today, but they can't hide it from customers.

We asked if they still had Shamrock shakes, they said yes, charged us for 2 large shakes and then told us after we paid they didn't have Shamrock shakes so what else did we want. Also fot 2 filet of fish sandwiches, one had less than a pickle size dot of sauce and they both had half a slice of cheese. And the fries were cold. Definitely NOT worth the money!

This has been only my 2nd time here. The 1st time don't remember it was this bad. Ordered a whopper today. And it took along time just for one hamburger to make. People comments are correct about wait times. They had one guy in back making food. Not good. I watched him make my burger I ordered extra everything and paid extra for it. When I got the burger it was as expected not extra everything as I watched him make my burger. I open it up right in front of the order taker, it was all mayo, no lettuce, 2 tomatoes, no ketchup, and 2 rings of onion. I said this is not extra everything. She threw it out with an attitude, and said I'll make one for you. I figured it would have been perfect. Got to my seat and opened it up and it was disgusting. I was so hungry I ate it anyways. But just have to comment, same thing, no lettuce, no ketchup, it did have 3 tomatoes and more pickles, . Then the Mayo was ridiculous it was oozing out of the bun all over my hands like an inch of mayo, It was terrible with taste. The Mayo drowned out all the other flavors. I will never go back, and I'm a fan of burger king whoppers, southbend gets it right all the time, I'll always order a heavy all whopper and they load the lettuce, ketchup, tomatoes, about 3-4 slices, 4 pickles, and 4 rings of onion. It's always big and juicy. Never had an issue with the south bend location on their heavy all burgers. This Niles location is for sure something wrong, they need to train the employees on the ingredients properly. And when someone orders and pays for it, heavy all. Your store did it twice and still got it wrong. And lost a customer over it. I'll just get my food from the south bend location. Never go back to Niles that's for sure. Very sad you can't make a burger right. PS, attention Niles Burger King! See photo! Just got this burger from south bend yesterday. It was perfect as always! Saw the sign for lunch sandwiches. Absolutely delicious food and soups. The owners are very friendly and outgoing. I will definitely be coming back for more.

We were looking for fresh produce this past spring and came across this charming little market. I had wonderful asparagus followed by a fabulous pie. This fall the owner had fresh apple cider, I rarely drink cider but gave it a try and I can honestly say it was the best cider ever! We live about an hour away but anytime we are in the area we stop by. You won’t be disappointed!

Second time getting a homemade pie from here. This time I got an apple pie and boy was it delicious. If you are looking for an old fashioned styled American pie then come here. Friendly staff and amazing food. They also sell other small items inside the store for all of your needs. Can’t wait to be back next summer and try all their other pies and pastries.

Well...after living in Berrien County for over 28 years and driving by Bob's Barn thousands of times, I finally stopped in to check this place out. There was a great selection of canned items and produce - along with fresh baked pies and turnovers. We were super impressed with this place and the proprietor was just excellent. Also, Bob is not the owner - it's the name of a rooster! We will absolutely be back.

It is a perfect stop. We had a delightful pannie. With the best cookies ever. My husband loves the beef jerky. Definitely. Will be back for some more seasonal veggies and fruits . Amazing staff as well. Thank you for the the the warm friendly welcome and service.

Stopped in for the pastries, which did not disappoint! The chocolate chip cookies and the cranberry orange loaf were exceptional! We're camping just up the road at the St Joseph/Coloma KOA and can't wait to return to this bakery/farm market when we're back in the area.

Intimate wonderful personal beautiful. Don and Ashley go off the charts with their baked goods sandwiches lunches and soups, plus all their produce is handpicked fresh. Their juices are great, the baked goods are great, everything's so great great great you got to hear that a lot out of me from this place. Love the lunches love the soups coming tomato basil is out-of-this-world oh and the Cherry Pie, she needs to enter that and some contests. Ashley they are wonderful so, thanks for being open

Fast food employees need to take pride in their work. The items could be so good if they just cared a little bit about what they serve. Dead floppy hash brown's, old sausage, and watered down coffee. This one will close eventually just like the one in Stevensville. No more chances I’m done.

On Friday, July 25th at 5:00 PM, I placed an order that included fries. Unfortunately, the fries were served cold. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, I was told a fresh batch would be provided. However, what I received was clearly a mix of cold fries with a few fresh ones — not a proper replacement. This experience was both disappointing and unacceptable. It’s concerning to see such disregard for basic quality and honesty over something as simple as fries. Customers deserve better than being misled.

I rated the food 1 (wish it could be zero) because they didn’t even give me my oatmeal 💔🫩 my little oatmeal, my only part of breakfast and the only reason i’m even happy. I think Ill never smile again after this.

Went through the drive thru for a lunch order. I was told to pull up, they were waiting on fries. I watched four food orders get passed through the windows and the vehicle behind me get their order. I asked the guy delivering the last order where my food was. He asked me what I ordered and then said, I don't work drive through? Five minutes later I went inside and they through my order together and handed it to me. No we're sorry we forgot you only you can talk to the manager. My fish sandwich was cold and the corners were like fiber board and my fries I was put on hold for were cold? Avoid this McDonald at all cost. Oh and I am a local that keep this restaurant afloat during the winder months, but not any longer. I join the long list of people avoiding this McDonalds.

I had a very unpleasant and shocking experience at this McDonald’s. While serving French fries to customers, one of the women working there was eating fries herself, licking her fingers, and then using her bare hands to place fries on trays. That is extremely unhygienic and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, she later washed her hands under the same drink fountain where customers get Coke, soda, and water — right under the tap labeled “water.” This is completely unsanitary and unsafe for customers. The burger I received was also disappointing — the cheese wasn’t melted and was placed carelessly, making the food look and taste unappetizing. Overall, the staff appeared unprofessional and incompetent. This location urgently needs better training and much stricter standards for food safety and cleanliness.

Extremely disappointed in this location, we have been coming here for a week now i order for multiple people and every single day they mess up my order, to the point where the manager took my order today thinking that would fix things but nope it’s a kitchen problem, instead of slowing down and producing quality product they rush and forget what is supposed to be on them or they forget the extra items you pay for but then get upset when we ask them to correct it, I hope a manager see this and corrects the issue customers would rather wait a few extra mins to have the product they purchased rather then have to spend 10 mins waiting on a remake it’s that simple, quality trumps fast production every time, please have your kitchen staff re take the food quality courses and the how to make courses because it’s a kitchen problem not a counter problem as proved today by your own management. Also after multiple mistakes the proper thing to do is offer a solution to the problem and comp the meal being the 5th time we have ordered and you not producing the correct product.

Idk who manages this McDonalds, but whoever does needs to be fired, cuz ever since the renovation, things just haven't been the same. Mainly, the afternoon employees, they are scared or just unable to deal with school-age children who either want to hang out with friends and eat or start a fight in the bathroom. Whenever there is a fight, instead of the manager taking corrective action themselves (like locking the dining room door during the afternoons,) they instead call the principal of the school I go to, expecting they will be able to take corrective action, and that the manager won't have to do anything. Oh, and did I forget? They always threaten about school-age children not being allowed to go to McDonalds anymore... They must be so desperate now... because I just visited this exact McDonalds about a half hour ago, and I literally saw 8 no loitering signs. 2 of them the manager made that are green, and they must've just ordered 6 more from corporate to put on the walls, because I have not seen those signs the last time I visited, I only saw the 2 green ones. These signs literally ruin the whole atmosphere. This is why I try my best to avoid this location at all costs. Edit (12/23/24): I forgot to mention this McDonalds is inconsistent with the time when the breakfast menu changes to the normal menu. Today, we ordered off the app with the breakfast stuff. However when we visited it was already 10:30 am, and due to the menu changing the staff couldn't give us our food. We entered, still 8 no loitering signs btw, the staff said we would be refunded. We then tried to order off the app again. However, the menu on the app did not update, so we took our business over to subway instead. This happened before, except the time the menu changed was 11am. However, the app was displaying the normal menu...

Great customer service, fast drive through. Love the crafted press-it’s the only coffee I order here after tasting it. The vegan flatbread sandwich is SO good you wouldn’t guess it’s vegan.

THOSE WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS LIKE ME, BEWARE!! I went through the drive thru today just before 10am to grab a coffee and some breakfast for myself and my husband. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed right away that 95% of the breakfast sandwiches have meat. I have dietary restrictions due to religion and so I asked if the sandwiches were pre-made or assembled upon ordering. I ended up only ordering my husband a sandwich, as I cannot consume pork. As I was getting ready to pull away from the speaker, I heard both employees that were wearing headsets laughing at me over the speaker and making fun of me. When I got to the window to pay, the girl in the black and white flannel was giving me snide looks. I then paid, waited for my coffee and husband's sandwich. Right before I drove away, I let the girl know that I could hear her and her coworker laughing at me over the speaker and making fun of me because of my dietary restrictions. All she had to say was "ooh sorry". There was no empathy and it was not genuine or sincere. These are the kind of people that shouldn't work in customer service, or at the very least the food service industry! I will pray for them to be more accepting of people's differences in the future. 🙏

First and last time going to this location. It’s amazing how poor customer service can really put one off of going to a place. I was charged via the mobile app for a coffee that I was refused. I was able to provide evidence for my purchase but because of some system error on their part, they never received a sticker in their store…and a very unhelpful and rude woman at the store refused to help me, not even as a courtesy for their technical issue (considering I literally showed my bank charge to her as well). She said she’s got no idea where the money went to, no idea what I’m talking about (clearly the charge says caribou coffee and matches the app) and she doesn’t owe me anything, not even with my evidence of purchase just moments prior. I have to now take this up with my bank to let them know of the fraudulent charge by this business and hopefully get my money back that way. Unfortunately, this is how you promptly lose customers and referrals, Caribou..

Our family loves this place and has been coming for years when we are in the area on vacation. We don’t have Caribou’s near us, so it’s always a treat! This trip we visited twice, and both times I was impressed by the friendliness of the baristas. They are genuinely kind and seem to enjoy working there.

I try and visit this location whenever I am in the area. It is always a pleasant experience.

I don't mean to be one of THOSE customers but man... Staff refuses to do their job. Takes nearly thirty minutes to get your order if you eat inside, and that is assuming you only order for yourself. Walked in on an argument between staff complete with slurs being tossed around. Maybe 10 bucks an hour and an overwhelming work load isn't the greatest motivator for teens who have enough to worry about. Main register is shut down, but that is a corporate policy made by a guy who has never worked in food service a day in his life. Chicken nuggets are great though. :)

I ordered # one with a side order of fries, the place was in panic mode, but mysterious though I received my order , I must have been given a burger that was laying around for sometime. When I got home the meat was hard as a rock burnt around the edges and cold the fries were still warm so I know the burger was sitting around for a while. I was really disappointed I threw the burger away.they had 6 or 7 employees working there and everyone was walking over each other, sorry guys I think your screwed for summer crowd

I went there yesterday literally all I ordered was 3 cinnamon twists and 2 Baja blasts. I waited 15 minutes just to pay. I was literally making eye contact with one of the girls back there. She obviously knew I was still waiting to pay. One of the workers who had just ended her shift had to get her to ring up my order and when she did she was rude asf. She quietly said how much I owed her and then said it again rudely when I asked her to say it again because I couldn’t hear her. Then when she gave me my change she didn’t say how much she gave me and she shoved it at me rudely. Then while I was still trying to get the change in my wallet she started shoving the cups at me while I was still clearly trying to get the change in my wallet. She could’ve just put the cups on the counter. I’ve heard other people have had similar problems with the same girl. I don’t know what her name was. I don’t remember if she was even wearing a name tag. She needs to be fired. Considering she completely ignored my existence.

Super slow, poorly made food. The spicy potato soft tacos had the wrong sauce and they messed up a burrito. Really poor customer service. Even my kids said we can never eat there again.

Clean store, friendly and helpful staff. I kind of goofed my order, and they were patient and kind with me. Food was all delicious, fresh, and well packaged. Very nice Taco Bell.

Taco Bell in Watervliet was OK At sometimes. They don’t included any sauce I added to the kiosk (have to take some at the sauce isle), they messed up the burrito supreme order giving me the basic tacos (for my step dad) but got my Doritos locos tacos and the taco fries right.

The League of Morons. Would not except my order at the counter. Told me I had to use the "kiosk" to place order. Filthy machine. Yet I can place order verbally through the drive through? Can anyone explain this stupidity? ALARM BELLS ARE RINGING..

Terrible service. After a long day of traveling went inside first to get food. Another customer and ourselves asked for help while the worker sat there on her phone eating her sandwich. Then we tried to go through the drive thru and she told us to wait a couple minutes and then we heard nothing. This was Friday May 2nd at 9:15pm. Completely unprofessional and will never be going back there.

I've never been somewhere more hit or miss with service. Sometimes amazing. Mostly crap though. From no ice to the staff making you wait at the first window in drive though so they don't get measured for how slow they are.

😡😡😡Traveling through stopped for some food the dining area was closed way before closing time, went to the drive through to order, told them we needed to make two separate orders to pay separately and they told us they only do one order per car!?!?!?!? What the hell I've never heard that in my life, so we had to go elsewhere.

Delicious food, great price, FAST service and you could tell the place had plenty of regulars. I came alone and one of the sweet ladies who was sitting alone offered for me to sit with her, and while I declined, it really goes to show the level of love and care that is in this mom n' pop shop. Also pretty solid street parking, very clean inside and out, friendly staff, the booth was comfy and the menu had a bunch of really yummy looking combinations on it. I had a waffle and was probably in and out within 30 minutes (which is exactly what I was hoping for!)

We are from out of town and looked for a restaurant with good reviews for breakfast. We decided on Sidetrack cafe. When we entered, we were not greeted, instead staff members just kept looking at us, we had to ask about a table (the large tables only seat 4, we are a group of 5 adults) we asked if we could pull up a extra chair because there isn't any seating for more than 4 people in the entire restaurant. We were told no, they didn't want any walkway blocked (although you could easily walk around a extra chair) so we were baffled as to how we were going to even be seated. They told us we could wait on a bench against the wall in a hall area for seating. Nothing else from staff. We decided to leave and go to berrien springs to a different place, hopefully with friendlier staff. So sadly we didn't get to try any food and the Google reviews are good.

Trash.. highly disappointment most places don’t have any other options when it comes to people not eating pork and they do not so when I asked for a substitute they only had corned beef hash so thought I’d give that a try but they didn’t give me my potatoes that came with the meal and the waffle had no butter with it and was soggy no crisp at all. Waste of money and didn’t feel very welcoming when going in. It was all bad in my opinion
