Karambezi Cafe, located at the Sea Cliff Hotel on the Msasani peninsula in Dar es Salaam, offers an elegant dining experience with a stunning view of the sea. The cafe is known for its refined international cuisine and is an ideal spot for a sophisticated evening. Guests can enjoy the gentle sea breeze while sitting under a thatched canopy and indulge in a variety of seafood dishes, including lobster, line-caught fish, and crab claws.
Amazing experience was had. The food was yummy and the portion was quite generous. The drink was refreshing as well. Highly recommend. Beautiful views and ambience. Asia was a very good to us, despite her being very busy with other tables. Mashallah! Coming back again!

This place has a fantastic location and an even better atmosphere. We loved the vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Samwel, who made sure we were well taken care of. That said, the food didn’t quite hit the mark for us. We ordered a mixed seafood plate and didn’t realize it would all come fried, would’ve been great if they’d asked our preference. It also took around 30 minutes to arrive. Still, for the view and service alone, it’s a place with real charm.

I had a great experience at Karambezi Café! I ordered the Passion Mojito and it was absolutely refreshing — exactly what I was hoping for. The flavors were perfectly balanced and really hit the spot. The atmosphere is lovely, especially with the live band they host every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy good vibes. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is because I believe there’s always room for a little improvement, but overall, it’s definitely a spot worth visiting!

Had dinner at Karambezi Café in — amazing ocean views and chill vibes 🌊. What I really enjoyed was the sound of ocean waves hitting the rocks. Love the sound of it. Started with the shrimp tempura (a bit bland), followed by tuna fillet and Zanzibar-style mains — decent flavors. 🌅🍤🐟 #DarEsSalaamEats #KarambeziCafe #SeafoodWithAView

This beachside café and restaurant is an absolute gem! The view of the ocean is stunning, especially during sunset, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food is fresh and flavorful, with a great mix of local and international dishes. The atmosphere is laid-back and cozy, with a gentle sea breeze adding to the charm. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and service is prompt. Whether you're in for a full meal or just a coffee by the waves, this place is worth a visit.

Karambezi is a beautiful restaurant located in Masaki which provides delicious food and drinks as well as desert. The surrounding is beautiful because it is located on a cliff where you can see the Indian ocean beautifully. The staff are friendly with good customer services, the prices are affordable and worthy the services.

Chapan Bhog is a delightful gem for those seeking affordable and delicious South East Indian cuisine. Nestled in the heart of the city, this cozy eatery may have a simple ambiance and can get quite busy, but it’s well worth the visit. The menu boasts an impressive array of vegetarian options, including crispy dosas and lentil pancakes served with flavorful chutneys or rich curries.
Honestly, the vegetable momos were stale and the gulab jamun was just okay. Taj offers better quality and quantity for the same price. For my next visit, I'd recommend trying their Punjabi Thali. it's significantly better than their regular menu items.
Rehmat — Google review
This restaurant is one of the area's longstanding establishments, exuding a dignified atmosphere that feels truly special. The menu offers a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, with South Indian cuisine being a particular strength. The rich aroma of biryani spices and the generous portions of dosa reflect the restaurant's authentic quality and regal ambience. Considering this, the prices are quite reasonable. However, there is one downside: the occasional disruption caused by staff sitting too close to guests and constantly staring at their smartphone screens, or laughing loudly. While likely unintentional, this behaviour unfortunately detracts from the otherwise refined atmosphere and dining experience. It’s a shame if such simple awareness is lacking, given the restaurant’s high standards. # Dar es Salaam # Tanzania

October 2024 4* Visited the place for quick lunch. The place is very simple. I am giving one extra star for food. The atmosphere is very basic and there is strong smell inside. Here is food list: - Chole Bhuture **** - Masala tea **** It is local sweet shop so you can buy sweet and namkeen. No washroom (I did not notice). Good place if you are looking for local food at good price.

Only good things are Mithai, laddoo, paneer pakoda and chumchum. The worst Sambhar in town. It’s almost always stale . Today it was looking and tasting ugly like the picture. Dosa is really bad. Handwashing area needs a lot of improvement and also overall hygiene needs considerable improvement

Very nice and affordable indian veg food in Dar Es Salam. Good service and good taste too.

I recently visited the shop and was impressed with the wide variety of treats they had to offer. From classic candy favorites to unique and exotic snacks, there was something for everyone. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had. I particularly enjoyed the fresh-baked cookies and the handmade fudge. Overall, I had a great experience at the shop and will definitely be returning

Place is good, food is good. Great variety of food options, mainly Indian food. All served dishes are pure vegetarian. Located in a very busy area on Saturdays and Sundays where the area is full of Indian residents and tourists for the Indian restaurants around this place. But even on a busy day like that you can find a seat here where few other famous places around has house full and very difficult to get a table. Also this place sells Indian sweets. Prices are bit lower than other popular Indian restaurants around.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants I have ever visited in Africa You feel at home Their spring roll Dosa is fantastic 👌 They do various types of dosas more than any other restaurant even in South India. All their preparations are authentic Indian. Even my African friends started eating at this restaurant whenever I visited Dar. East Africa is a heaven for Indian vegetarian food. Let us salute them for their magnanimity in accommodating other cultures.

Chef's Pride is a popular breakfast and brunch spot in Dar es Salaam, offering a wide range of affordable options that provide an authentic taste of Tanzania. Located in an area with predominantly Indian influence, the restaurant has become a favorite among locals and travelers for its diverse menu featuring European, Asian, and especially Tanzanian dishes. The highlight includes ndizi nyama (plantains in beef broth), matembele (sweet potato leaves), and ugali (maize porridge).
If you want proper swahili food you have to visit this restaurant. very early in the morning and there is everything. This is just awesome. The service is awesome and the waiting time is just 3 minutes. I love it

The food is great and seems readily cooked, they have a great variety of things . I wanted for like 10 minutes to be attended to , it seems like they have regular customers . The menu is on the wall , and the waiter over charged me , the price they told me was different from what was on the menu , unless the menu is not up to date . Stay alert .

It is really a nice place for taking Arabic food and Indian cuisine. You can take the food in the room with Ac room . And take a fresh juice .
William L — Google review
I'm really in love with the shawarma, it's delicious, I totally recommend it, but the only thing that's really difficult about being there is that there's no AC, and as a tourist, it's like being in a sauna, so I couldn't enjoy my food as much, but it was still worth it. And please try the pineapple juice.

5 star food and portion sizes. Service levels may vary sometimes where the waiters might keep you waiting or if they do decide to take care of you, be prepared to have some of the best service out there in the city. Luckily, most of the staff and managers know me there so my family's experience is mostly top-notch.

Nestled along the stunning Swahili coast, Mediterraneo Hotel & Restaurant is a serene getaway that perfectly captures the essence of Mediterranean charm. With its bohemian chic vibe, this hotel invites guests to unwind in cozy cottage-style accommodations that boast free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, and private verandas overlooking either the lush gardens or the sparkling Indian Ocean. Guests can indulge in delectable Mediterranean cuisine at the on-site restaurant or enjoy refreshing drinks at the sports bar.
Lovely hotel at the beach with a great restaurant. Everything is good here except the fact that the pool closes at 6pm (a bit early if you ask me). I would recommend this hotel. We paid for hotel, taxi and for the meals in the restaurant with Visa and Mastercards using iPhone (Apple Pay) and it was never any problem.

I had dinner at Mediterraneo Hotel and Restaurant the other day with my kids, and I just had to share what a wonderful experience we had. The food was delicious, but what truly made our evening special was the exceptional service we received from our server, Abdul (I believe that was his name). He was kind, polite, accommodating, patient, and professional—the kind of person who makes you feel genuinely welcome. He went above and beyond throughout the evening to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What really stood out was what happened when we were getting ready to leave. My phone had died, and I needed it to call a car service. Without hesitation, Abdul offered to let me use his own phone so I could get in touch with the car service. That small act of kindness meant the world to me—I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without his help. Thank you, Abdul, and thank you to Mediterraneo for having such compassionate and professional staff. It’s people like Abdul who remind you that kindness and excellent service still exist. We’ll definitely be back!

I was referred to this property by my business partners in DAR, and I stayed for 13 nites. It was a good referral as this is the kind of place I like to stay when on the road when I am 3-6-9-12 time zones away from home. I really enjoyed this place, the pool, the beach and the lush gardens and amazing plants and trees! But the best part was the big smiles of the staff and the consistent welcome I felt throughout my stay! Big shout outs to: Evita, Juliet, Mica at the front desk, and Server Adbul!!! Your smiles and attentive approach to my requests was highly appreciated!! Thank you for helping a world-weary traveler from 10 times zones away to feel more comfortable and relaxed!!! Warm smiles back, Graham (Vancouver, CANADA)

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience that showcases authentic Thai cuisine, look no further than Sala Thai Restaurant in Dar es Salaam. This charming eatery offers generous portion sizes, so be mindful when ordering both starters and mains. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the beloved pad Thai, which beautifully balances sweet and savory flavors. While some may find the authenticity slightly lacking due to seasoning limitations, there's still plenty to enjoy.
I love the food. It’s tasty and delicious. Plates are huge. I love the menu. It’s massive and well selected. It also has continental dishes. I love the atmosphere. It’s comfortable and quiet. I like the waiters. They are friendly and polite. While I’m in DAR it’s my favorite place.

Ella N — Google review
Lunch at Sala Thai today, I had my lime mint juice as the weather is too warm so need this refreshing juice to cool a bit. For Thai food tbh not very authentic might be the reason of seasoning limitation. Thai cuisine is traditionally famous for its exotic taste of spices, combined with sweet and sour. Here are my two warm review : For pad Thai (fried noodles with veggies, tofu, shrimps depends on your choice) flavors of this dish should be centered around a sweet-savory fusion. However sala thai is making too SOUR. It’s not that much “pad Thai” in my opinion. For som tam (green papaya salad) the papaya is not “green” ( too mature ) so the texture I not that crunchy, and spicy is not salient. Nevertheless Sala Thai so far is the best Thai food restaurant in town I have tried. They can beat the oriental restaurant which located in Kilimanjaro (Dar Hyatt hotel) totally! Overall Thai food is really really tasty and Sala Thai has quick service which I appreciate a lot. Looking forward to visiting again.

I lovely place to go grab your thai dishes. Menu also has continental cuisines all in fair price. Their chicken avocado was really tasty! Munching this down made me feel healthy with all the veggies it came with. Definitely a big recommend The cheese sandwich was just okay, average. The fries it came with was good though Worth a visit and try their thai dishes! Go.

Kaffé Koffee Oysterbay is a charming coffee shop nestled on Kaunda Dr, welcoming visitors around the clock. This delightful spot is perfect for grabbing a quick takeaway, especially during the hot daytime hours. Their menu features an array of freshly baked small cakes and expertly crafted cold coffees that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and caffeine cravings alike.
It is a cute coffee shop located on Kaunda Dr street and open 24 hours a day. For dessert, their small cakes are fresh and delicious. You should especially try their cold coffee, their prices are affordable. Unfortunately, there is no seating opportunity in the air-conditioned area of the venue, so it has 2 outdoor areas in the form of gazebos. It's quiet, has its own parking lot and is a clean coffee shop. You should take it as a takeaway during the day because the weather is very hot. You can have a good time by coming with your family or friends in the evenings and nights.

I went on a safari with my family this past summer. We did a hot air balloon while on the safari and afterwards were lucky enough to drink kaffe koffee. My mom and I thought it was the best coffee we had ever had. We looked for it everywhere we stopped along our journey but couldn’t find it. Through a series of events they were able to get us coffee in the US. This is so kind of the entire team. We had gone on this hot air balloon to honor my late father. Now to drink this coffee we can remember this special time we had to honor him. The coffee is INCREDIBLE and the staff had been so nice. We are forever grateful

We bought 4 milk shakes and we are regular customers. 2 of them were spoiled. When I first took a sip I really thought it tasted funny and smelt weird but didnt pay attention to it. My wife then drank from it and straight away said it has gone sour. My brother gave the same complain. I believe if you are charging your customer 16,000 tshs per bottle then at least make sure the shakes have not gone bad.

Price is higher than what is listed online . The pictures online are not actually what the store looks like. They don't have pastries like in the pictures. The store's exterior and interior are quite different from the pictures shown online I ordered a 16oz coffee , but only the cup was 16oz -not the amount of coffee.

This was once a place to get good quality coffee and service, I am sorry to announce that it's service and product have declined. I took a video to show you the thieving of coffee. The crew seemed clueless and unresponsive. Really sad, I have to find a different place
TISA A — Google review
This place is frustrating. The menu shows items as available, but once you place a delivery order they call back to say it’s not. Then if you go in person, the same item is magically available. Why accept orders if you don’t actually have the item? It makes no sense that I then have to check with other branches just to get it delivered, paying extra delivery charges because of the distance. And honestly, why keep something on the menu if it’s not available in the first place? It just wastes the customer’s time.
Mardhiyah M — Google review
24 hour coffee place, which is really convenient. In a great location, easily accessible by those who reside in masaki and Upanga. The Frappuccino drink was pretty average. It’s too light of a drink, and 30% of the tumbler is filled up with ice. Plenty of such drinks available at other platforms in Dar and better in terms of taste. Would give it a 2 star. They’re 50% more expensive than any other place that has these kinda drinks. The vanilla iced latte was very nice and creamy.

Kahawa Cafe impresses with its stunning decor and lighting, effectively incorporating the coffee bean motif throughout. The cafe offers a vibrant and bright ambiance that is both inviting and colorful. The menu features an array of delectable options, including refreshing ice fraps and reportedly delicious cakes. The staff provides excellent service, displaying friendliness towards patrons. The outdoor seating area maintains cleanliness, while children can enjoy the playhouse provided.
Kahawa Cafe at Shoppers Plaza in Dar es Salaam has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I love the laid-back vibe here—it’s perfect whether you’re catching up with friends, squeezing in some work with their fast WiFi, or simply enjoying a quiet moment on your own. One of the things that really stands out is the drink menu. Their lemon iced tea and passion iced tea are absolute delights—refreshingly tangy and just the right mix of sweetness to brighten any day. The bakery items are also a treat; everything is fresh and delicious, making it hard to resist grabbing a pastry along with your coffee. The service is excellent, adding to the overall warm and welcoming experience. And if you’re in the mood for something more than just a drink, the pizza here is surprisingly good—a tasty bonus to the great food and drinks. Overall, Kahawa Cafe is a fantastic spot for meeting friends, working remotely, or simply indulging in some top-notch coffee and treats. Highly recommended if you’re in Dar es Salaam!

The ambience/ the place looks good. Nice & clean as well. But we were the only people there so we got a quick & good service. I think its self-service, as I had gone to the counter to place my order. And if its not management needs to look at it, as I was trying to find the waiter. So the food is pretty decent, the drink was good. They have a playground for the kids & even sheesha is available at this place. Otherwise the place overall was good 👍

The Ridge Cafe is a warm and inviting establishment where one can work or unwind. It offers fast internet, delightful coffee and snacks that enhance the experience. The sandwich and samosa are prepared fresh to order, adding to the overall appeal. Book lovers will particularly enjoy this place as it provides a relaxing atmosphere for reading. Furthermore, the cafe goes beyond just serving food and beverages; it creates a sense of belonging by making everyone feel at home.
The abundance of books creates a cozy and inspiring atmosphere, perfect for reading or working. The free Wi-Fi is a major plus, making it a great option for digital nomads and remote workers. While the café can get crowded at times, it's still a great place to escape the bustle and focus on your tasks. The coffee is well-made, providing the perfect pick-me-up. The indoor seating area provides a cozy and focused environment, while the outdoor seating area, surrounded by lush greenery, offers a more relaxed setting. Highly recommend!

Very nicely decorated and cozy café. The coffee is good – though a matter of taste, as it’s typically quite acidic for this region. The quality, however, is ok. I appreciate that they offer plant-based milk alternatives but TAKE CARE it cost 5000 TZN extra and they find imform you. Overall, a good place to relax and spend some time.

Visited this cafe on a friend's recommendation, he was especially fond of the chicken sandwich but didn't seem too excited about the coffee. The cafe is in a convenient location and is always quite a busy place. It's well set-up for those who need to work away from the office with power outlets conveniently located near the tables. The chicken sandwich, banana bread and fruit juice were quite tasty. However, I wasn't entirely happy with the coffee (Africano/Americano). What I really liked was that the cafe had PLENTY of books and if it was nearer to my place of stay, I would have spent more time here! Would definitely recommend a visit to this cafe if you are in the area... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A nice a chill coffee shop! The cappuccino was strong and the smoothie was delicious. I enjoyed the vibes and plethora of books. The location was great overall. I would for sure return!

I went there on a Friday afternoon. It was calm and serene even though almost all tables were taken. They don’t play music, which I actually really enjoyed because I get sometimes overstimulated in Dar’s hectic traffic. The cappuccino with soy milk I ordered was absolutely delicious. Prices are good. Soy milk has additional costs (4k tsh) which is understandable and it still only cost me 10k tsh (approximately €3,30). Staff is really friendly. There is free WiFi and it works perfect. There are plenty of boardgames to play and books to read. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Indoor has airconditioning.

I really had a good time here. The atmosphere is so good for just a coffee, work, even doing school work. The books there were amazing! It is laptop friendly and don’t even get me started on the coffee - amazing!

Nice place, taste food. We had a great breakfast there. The chicken brito is amazing, never thought baked chicken mixed avocado and eggs are so flavorful and match. I’m so obsessed with the name “central park”, it will be much wonderful if there is a big couch inside of it.

Great ambience, loved the decor🙌🏼 Staff were fast and friendly. Lunch was just okay for me. My friend had the Tandoori Chicken burger which was amazingly spicy and tasty. I had the double cheeseburger which wasn’t as spicy and tasty as I expected. The beef was tasteless I might say. Still a great place for lunch tho.

Grano Coffee is a coffee shop with an outdoor seating area that provides a unique perspective of the city and allows for enjoyable moments while sipping coffee and feeling the cool breeze. The eatery offers delectable food options, particularly their mixed grill if you're a steak lover. The menu regularly undergoes improvements, which is commendable. Their Pasta Alfredo, American breakfast, and lemonade are highly recommended. The staff is amiable and helpful, providing quality customer service when in good spirits.

If you're looking for a cozy busy spot to enjoy a delicious cappuccino and chocolate croissant, then I highly recommend checking out "Grano Coffee." From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. The cozy interior is decorated with warm, rustic touches that make you feel right at home. The cappuccino that I tried was perfectly crafted, with just the right balance of rich espresso and frothy milk. The latte art on top is also a lovely touch. As for the chocolate croissant, it's nothing short of heavenly. The flaky, buttery pastry is stuffed with a generous amount of rich, chocolate that melts in your mouth with every bite. It's the perfect indulgence for any chocolate lover. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out this place if you're also in need of working with your laptop works. Not sure about if the Wi-Fi is too strong but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the quality of the food and drinks is top-notch. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast or a leisurely afternoon treat, Grano coffee is the perfect spot with varieties to offer from their menu.

Café Aroma, situated conveniently close to our location, boasts a charming atmosphere and pleasant indoor temperature. The attentive staff provides excellent service while presenting an extensive menu of delectable food choices and coffee selections. Our exquisite culinary journey included the delightful breakfast bagel, flavorsome Spanish omelette, refreshing fruit salad, invigorating mint lemonade, rich cappuccino, and indulgent affogato – all of which were outstanding. Additionally, WiFi access is available for convenience.
Been here multiple times for lunch but I recently visited this cafe for brunch, and it was a vibe and a half! The atmosphere was warm and perfect. Everything from their food to their service was just perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious brunch, this cafe is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend!

At first glance, cafe Aroma may seem like a very average cafe, as it sits right next a petrol station. However, from the outside you can see that it is a nice cafe. It looks inviting. The staff greeted me immediately and I found a seat easily/quickly. I asked if they could mix two juices for me and they obliged without a problem. I ordered a Greek salad with added chicken, and we got some fries for the table. The fries were great! A light crispiness on the outside accompanied by a soft inside. The salad was already seasoned well enough that I didn’t need to add the dressing they provided. Overall I recommend this place for an easy cafe to have a meeting, catch up with a friend, have a lunch with family, or entertain your kids with a meal out. They had desserts too, but I did not venture down that road.

Bean There Cafe is a highly relaxing establishment in the area, known for its serene ambiance. This cafe deserves all the stars for their incredible heavenly grilled red snapper! It was cooked to absolute perfection – flaky, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying mashed potatoes were also delicious. Seriously, one of the best grilled fish I've had in a while. The drinks were okay. However, I must admit the chairs weren't the most comfortable. Despite this minor drawback, I highly recommend this cafe for a delicious and satisfying meal.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Bean There Café. The food was completely tasteless - nothing had any flavor at all. And to make things worse, they didn't even have coffee! Orchid Café is a chic and sophisticated coffee shop with a contemporary ambiance. It serves as an excellent venue for enjoying a delicious beverage and indulging in delectable desserts. Their ginger honey lemon tea is highly recommended, and their coffees are also of top-notch quality. While their cheesecakes are satisfactory, the pancakes outshine them in terms of taste and flavor. The food overall is average, with room for improvement in terms of flavor profile.
This is a very nice place to visit. It's definitely a place for tourists, with it's more western cuisine. None the less very delicious and loads to choose from. Sadly, I am very disappointed with my meal and experience, especially since it's my first time and I've heard quite a lot of good reviews about this place. The fries were absolutely below grade; tasted old/stale and very crunchy. Seems like the chef or manager in charge in the kitchen isn't bothered about the quality of the dishes going out to their customers. The service is quite slow. We had to remind our server about the other dish that we had ordered. Perhaps they should work on this.

One of my recommended cafe here in Dar Es Salaam. In terms of location wise, it is good an has lot of parking spaces. Ambiance and cleanliness? I can say they maintain their cafe's good reputation. As for the best part, price and food, I can say it is worth the price especially their cakes. I highly recommend Butterscotch and Lotus Cheesecake, can say that it is best when freshly baked. Wild Flour - Artisan Bakery and Café is a memorable establishment with friendly staff and an excellent location. While the terrace garden, which was unfortunately devoid of any breeze on this particular day, couldn't be enjoyed due to a private event in the glasshouse, the comfortable air-conditioned section downstairs made up for it. The café also offers convenient amenities such as free Wi-Fi, multiple plug points, and a designated area for reading.
Wild Flour is a beautiful artisan bakery and café that offers a variety of specialty breads, Tanzanian coffee, and healthy snacks like salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and pastries. I was there for the event 'GAME NIGHT' which happens every Friday. They also provide a selection of certified organic products, including fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, nuts, and grains, making it a perfect spot for health-conscious individuals. Went for breakfast and whilst the food we ordered was good (excellent bread), I do feel like improvements could be made. Most of the breakfast menu offerings indicate that it comes with bread. Best Salad dressing and very few places add Cherry Tomatoes in Salad in Dar es Salaam!

The food was fine but the experience was awful. The guy at food cart served us food. There is a menu with the price of each item but none of them is about buffet. So we ordered a small plate each (as shown on the pics) and they stated on the bill 10,000 shillings for each plate. After negotiating the bill became 10,000 in total. Besides, the claimed that the coffee maker was out of order but we saw them serving coffee to other customers.

Seeking for a new modern place to start your day, this is the cafe where it really takes you back on why it's named that way. Great place, the coffee, sustainable WIFI and also great friends to make

Wifi, working tables and meeting rooms, a café with decent espresso drinks, healthy lunch buffet every afternoon, board games, foosball! I hat better place to work out of or startup your own startup in good company-the owner has had 3 successful ones already?
Vaibhav V — Google review
My go-to place for decent coffee whenever I'm in the area. Unfortunately it takes forever to order food a la card (upwards of 1h for simple dishes), so if you're in a rush, better stick to the buffet.

There was barely any espresso in the latte, it tasted and looked like straight milk? I also tried to pay in cash but they had no change, and I mean zero change, so had to wait while they went and found change from someone.

Nestled in the vibrant city of Dar es Salaam, Taste Me Desserts & Café is a delightful haven for dessert lovers and café enthusiasts alike. This charming spot offers an array of delectable treats that cater to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. With its inviting atmosphere and diverse menu, it’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or enjoy a sweet escape from the daily grind.
Taste me at Coco beach, the at mosphere is great, it's always nice to enjoy ocean breeze. Though they have an indoor setting as well. Love their menu I always get either their chicken wings or Nutella waffles. Cause I either need a sweet pick me up or savory snack. And their fried ice cream is 10/10.

During my recent visit to Taste Me Desserts & Café in Dar es Salaam, I was thoroughly impressed by the delightful experience it offered. As Tanzania's first dedicated dessert café, the establishment boasts a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual meet-ups and special occasions. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of desserts and savory dishes. I opted for the Chicken Alfredo Pasta, which was exceptionally creamy and flavorful. For dessert, the classic cheesecake stood out with its perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The café also offers a range of beverages, and I found the cappuccino to be rich and satisfying. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is enhanced by tasteful décor and comfortable seating arrangements, both indoors and outdoors. It's evident that the café places a strong emphasis on cleanliness and customer service. Whether you're a dessert enthusiast or simply looking for a cozy place to enjoy a meal, this café is a must-visit in Dar es Salaam.

Excellent staff, service, food, location. First Floor overlooking the sea is wonderful, while more protected and indoor areas are available in case it gets too windy. Card swiping machine worked. Overall, highly recommended.

Mariyah Z — Google review
Do not waste your time here. We were looking forward to a great meal but were told very late after we had already sat down that most of the menu items weren't available. The service was terrible, and the lack of communication from the staff was completely unprofessional. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience.

So let's talk about the PROS of my experience at TasteMe Mikocheni Plaza : 1. Staff were very welcoming and quick to take the orders. 2. Out of the 2 dishes [I'll talk about the other one in CONS] that we ordered, Chicken Alfredo Pasta (Penne) was one of the absolute best pasta I've ever eaten in my life. So rich, so creamy, YUM! 3. Pleasant atmosphere. Very clean spot, great ambience! CONS : 1. Food took a bit longer than usual to arrive. Probably after 45-50 minutes, so I expected it to be good. (Continues in 2) 2. So as I mentioned in PROS, I'd ordered 2 dishes, so the second dish was the Grilled Chicken Fillet with fries. It was a little bit too dry for my liking and overcooked in certain areas. The fries were kind of hard. 3. The post serving service could've been better as we asked for a spoon, it didn't arrive until we reminded them, which I didn't appreciate. 🤝 Overall a good experience. I expect a 'really good' experience next time because I'll definitely come back because the PROS outweigh the CONS for me. One of my favourite spots in Dar.

A cool cafe where I dash in for late night coffee and desserts. They offer good tasty finger foods for breakfast and brunch. I like their mocktails as well. There's this very helpful and nice waiter there, I wish I can remember his name to give him a shout out. It's a cool corner cafe to have in your list if in Posta areas

I have dined at Cafe Arabica once and had food delivered on another occasion, and both times the cuisine was exceptional! The shwarma, hummus, and other dishes were fantastic. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit to this establishment. Moreover, the interior of this cafe is delightful; despite its small size, it never feels overcrowded. The seats are comfortable, there's a large television for entertainment, and the staff is friendly.
They have the best coffee with high quality beans and they have lots of variety in drinks/coffee/mojitos/juices/milkshake/teas/etc.. and food has lots variety too and desserts but there shawarma is the best in town its worth visiting the place

Ordered a kunafa through duka . it’s suppose to be made with the shredded phyllo dough , instead flour covered cheese fried in a weird gross oil taste. Also their cheese rolls had no filling , and had their kibbeh and it barely had a beef filling from a previous order . Disappointing . They should have just cancelled the order . I used to really like their cheese rolls and labneh.

The blue berry cheese cake looked elegant however tasted lumpy n floury, and wasn’t soft at all. The Arabic coffee tasted like turmeric tea Just the ambiance is good n quiet as there was nobody there .

Today I ordered churros for the first time in Cafe Arabica which was not worth the price . 12000tzs for 5 to 6 strips of thin churros is a big no.

Nice. Quiet. Great internet. Really good coffee. Very attentive staff and super friendly owner. Food is better here than other local coffee shops. Small shop. One small downside is hard to charge devices if they are busy as there only a handful of places to charge. But perfect place to work. And definitely a great shop!
