Breakfast restaurant
Hemingway's Caribbean Cafe is a charming restaurant located in St. John's, Antigua, offering a casual dining experience with a focus on Creole and Caribbean cuisine. The menu features authentic dishes such as Antiguan fricassee of saltfish, local lobster flambeed with Cavalier rum, curry shrimp and okra gumbo, and roasted jerk pork tenderloin with pineapple relish.
Best Oxtail I’ve ever tried in my entire life! Food is delicious! Service is good! The ambience is great. Specially from the balcony. Don’t skip this place! Their Old Fashioned Rum Punch is good.

My husband and I ate lunch at Hemingway's during a cruise that stopped at St. John's. The good: The location is conveniently located by the port, and the upstairs outdoor patio provides a cool breeze. Their smoothies were refreshing, and their conch fritters were tasty (the sauce was on the spicier side). The bad: The prices were high, even for a tourist trap. There was a 17% tax (not including gratuity) added onto the menu prices. Our smoothies were approximately $7.50 each, which was reasonable. We paid $20 for three conch fritters, which was unreasonable. However, the most off-putting part of our experience was the service. We were not approached when we entered the restaurant and had to ask to be seated. Our server did not appear happy and did not look us in the eyes. She took our order, and we did not see her again. Service was slow, even though it was 1:30 pm on a Monday. It took us 40 minutes to receive two smoothies and a conch fritter appetizer. We heard another worker berating the customers at the table behind us for not eating their food sufficiently since the worker said she assumed they would want certain dishes brought out first. When we were done eating, we had to seek out a server to pay our check. Overall: The food was pleasant enough, but I wish I'd saved my money and time and eaten on the cruise ship. It wasn't worth the price for the poor service.

Yes this is definitely worth visiting; delightful, excellent burger as soft as butter, sweet potato fries all delicious and serviced with very fresh & neatly presented mayo & ketchup. Very quaint wrap-around terrace on first floor. Lovely service with a genuine smile and honestly if we weren’t in a rush we’d have stayed for several hours, just drinking watching the world go by. A lime fizz works super well with a burger!

This is hands down the best Caribbean-style food in Antigua! We’ve been here multiple times, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The service is wonderful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor, freshly made, and always served with a smile. They’re always on point, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. If you’re in Antigua and want an authentic, mouthwatering meal, this is the place to go. Highly recommend we’ll definitely keep coming back!
Ahmad — Google review
This restaurant is located at the pier where our cruise ship docked. The place was recommended by our tour guide. It’s across the street where he let us off. You have to walk up stairs to get to it. So it’s not suitable for handicap. By the entrance there were souvenir vendors. The place only had 4 other customers. We were seated on the patio. We had 2 different servers. Another couple came in after us and she took their order before us a gentleman came in way after us and got his food before us. The first server seemed annoyed and the second server was not that friendly. We order 2 daiquiris for $9.65 each and the Key west club for $17.40. We waited 20 minutes. The sandwich and fries were good. So were the cocktails. Just the service was lacking.
Sheila D — Google review
This place came highly recommended for seafood and while in Antigua I really wanted to try the lobster. The food was great but it is a bit pricey. I paid $70 for lobster.
Dalia F — Google review
Nice little spot for a taste of the carribean. Definitely recommend pepper pot (I added chicken) - loved it- the flavours and spice were just what I was looking for! The drinks were really nice too. My sister had the pumpkin soup. She said it was nice but could have had a bit more spice flavours. The prawns were alright (maybe a little over priced though). The shape of the dish made it difficult to really enjoy the sauce with the prawns. In terms of sides, the white basmati was done really nicely (according to my sister), sweet potato fries were good and the salad dressing was a nice touch to the salad. My 8 year old nephew loved his chicken and chips, and ice cream sundae. The jerk chicken wrap was ok... the sauce was a little bit tangy and overpowering (wouldve been nice if I could taste the chicken and if it was a bit more spicy. Instead, it tasted like I was just eating the bbq jerk from the bottle at points (more ketchup-y) so I could only eat one half of my wrap at the time. Overall though, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our visit.

We had a very nice meal here . The restaurant was recommended by our driver and it didn't disappoint. Food was great and service was just fine. Definitely worth a try.

Cloggy's is a popular outdoor restaurant located in English Harbour, offering stunning views of the harbor from its elevated deck. The menu features a diverse range of options, making it an ideal choice for groups with varying tastes. Dishes include Caribbean favorites like coconut prawns alongside international offerings such as Indonesian chicken satay and Aussie burgers. Situated at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina, this establishment provides classic Caribbean cuisine with a touch of global inspiration.
We absolutely loved Cloggy’s. Apparently this is a new-ish location after a devastating fire at an its old site. Fear not - the new location is stunning. The food was just amazing - with freshly caught fish and even curry on the menu. The cocktails were exceptional. The team were so professional and so kind. We went twice and hope to go again should we be lucky enough to return to Antigua.

Very disappointing. Prawn curry inedible. Bulked up by huge carrots and beans swimming in a watery gravy sauce with a few prawns. Handled badly by owner when we complained. Didn’t even have politeness to visit our table when we asked to speak to him. Waited 40 mins for plates to be cleared Nice young waiter who tried his best but will never go back. Nice view once you’ve got over looking at a huge oil tanker and a car park
Colette M — Google review
Cloggy’s the kind of place that effortlessly pulls you into the moment—the food, the atmosphere, the view—so much so that I completely forgot to take pictures (a rare sign that the experience was that good). Perched above the marina, the setting is stunning, with a laid-back, stylish Caribbean vibe. The cool breeze off the water, the sounds of clinking glasses and relaxed conversation, and the view of yachts swaying gently in the harbor—it all creates an ambiance that feels like a scene from a travel magazine. Now, the food. I had the chicken shoarma, and let me just say—it was absolutely on point. Tender, perfectly seasoned chicken, wrapped with fresh veggies and a creamy, tangy sauce that brought it all together. Every bite was flavorful, balanced, and deeply satisfying. It wasn’t overly complicated, just really well done. The kind of dish that hits the spot and lingers in your memory. From start to finish, Cloggy’s delivered—great service, a beautiful setting, and food that speaks for itself. Next time, I’ll try to remember the photos… but honestly, it’s worth experiencing without a lens in the way. A must-visit when in Antigua!

We had a great time at this restaurant. Food and drinks were both great; portion sizes were also quite good. Service and Ambience were on point as well. We'll definitely return.
Deidre D — Google review
First time having dinner but it was a great evening. It is still off season so there were not a ridiculous amount of diners so we had literally all the servers checking on us from time to time. Food was great and service was prompt and efficient and friendly. We had three courses and a few drinks. Would highly recommend.
Shawn M — Google review
The burgers tender, juicy but were too tall to bite without looking awkward. They were pretty good. The rack of lamb looked exceptional. The piña colada was very coconut tasting but had very little alcoholic content. The views were GREAT. The bar was very active. We didn't have reservations (at 430pm) and were not able to sit on the expansive balcony despite the fact it was unoccupied when we arrived and only one couple was seated there during our 90 minute stay. The prices for burgers were slightly above average (in Antigua) $20-25USD.
Jeff D — Google review
I went to Cloggy's for my birthday brunch and it was lovely. I enjoyed the food and the views. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I had to get a takeaway bag which I inadvertently left on the table but one of the waiters who served us, handed it to me when I went up the stairs to look for it. I cant wait to return.
Shani F — Google review
I went to cloggys for brunch overall it was just okay. I've been to cloggys many times before and had a better experience. I ordered the Indonesian chicken sauté with rice and veg. I didn't like it because it had a think peanut butter sauce on top. No where on the menu said sauté in peanut butter sauce. They need to update that on the menu because if I knew it was in peanut butter, I would have ordered something else. What if I was allergic to peanut? I would like to suggest it be changed or the waiter should tell patrons that it is in a peanut butter sauce. Other than that, everything else was fine. The drinks were good and the service was good no complaints 👌 overall I would visit again

Cafe
Located in St. Johns, The Larder is a modern and sleek dining spot that offers a unique blend of deli and sushi bar experiences. Since its establishment in 2010, it has garnered numerous accolades, including being named the Best Restaurant in the Caribbean by Caribbean Journal in 2020. The menu is an innovative culinary journey featuring handcrafted sushi rolls and succulent steak dishes.
Larder was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and impressively prompt—perfect for our mid-day bite with coworkers. The menu is a fresh food lover’s dream, packed with healthy options and rotating daily specials that keep things exciting. On my first visit, I had the jerk chicken—spicy, tender, and packed with flavor. It hit all the right notes and paired perfectly with one of their fresh juices (which are a must-try on their own). The balance of bold Caribbean spice and quality preparation made it stand out. I was so impressed, I came back the very next day for an early dinner. This time, I went with the lamb shank—and wow. It was hearty, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone tender. The accompanying potatoes and greens were snappy, vibrant, and well-seasoned—true supporting stars of the plate. Major kudos to the chef. Larder earns a full 5 out of 5 from me. Whether you're grabbing a quick, healthy lunch or settling in for a satisfying dinner, it’s a spot that delivers every time. A quick note: it is NOT fast, it's real food. Certain dishes can be a long wait so dont be in any hury.

Offers build your own salad option and also ready made cold appetizers salad items such as beets salad, couscous salad, Greek salad etc. Definitely a healthy meal I was looking for! The grilled salmon my husband got was decent but the quinoa was quite salty.
Mandy K — Google review
Visited for lunch on 8 August 2024 I want to caveat this review with the fact that I visited the Larder for breakfast about a year ago and it was a great experience (I don't remember if I wrote a review for that visit). My two friends and I went in for lunch on a Thursday close to 1 pm. It didn't seem too busy, and we got seated right away. We had all dined previously, so we expected good food and drinks. Our expectations were not met. We all ordered drinks. I ordered a local rum punch, and one friend had a strawberry daiquiri, which the other had a virgin coconut crush. The virgin coconut crush was the only drink that was made to satisfaction. My local rum Punch tasted like juice (and not local juice). I had to ask the wait staff to have them remake it or add more rum. The daiquiri took a bit longer, but when it arrived, it was also lacking. We asked it the bar tender was new, but as stated by the wait staff, they were not. The daiquiri was also returned to be remade. The food. I had the fish burger with sweet potato fries. You can never go wrong with burgers, and thus, my meal was satisfactory. Both my friends ordered a pig foot soup each because their first option was not available. Once their soups arrived, one only contained a single piece of meat, but more alarming was that the soup tasted lake Campbell's soup. Unsatisfactory!! Nevertheless, we ate our meals, paid our bill, and left. The Larder is a bit spendy, and like most businesses, ABST (tax) is added to the prices you see on the menu, and a 10% service charge is added to the bill. I would cautiously recommend the Larder, but avoid the pig foot soup.

This place is amazing. Definitely will return back on my next trip. The staff are very friendly and the food is 10/10. Highly recommend The Larder.

Friendly, amazing food from taste to presentation. This was our last place to eat before heading home to KY and we were impressed!!
Melissa M — Google review
We were promptly greeted upon arrival and invited to choose our own table, which was a nice start. After about 10 minutes, a server came by to take our order, both food and drinks, which was perfectly fine, as we were still reviewing the menu. However, after placing our order, we waited over 30 minutes without receiving even our drinks. I politely inquired about them and was told the bartender was to blame, although we had observed other tables who came after us served by the same waitress receiving their drinks during that time. Unfortunately, the delay and lack of follow-up left a poor impression, and my party ultimately decided to leave without receiving any part of our order. Disappointed we didn’t get to try the food, as we were looking forward to the experience.
JE'Niece S — Google review
The Larder was an okay sort of experience tonight. The place is clean and the ambiance is carefully thought out. Cleanliness is up to par and the waiter is well trained and friendly. We had ribs, curried chicken, chicken rice, steam vegetables and mash potatoes. I think that the chef may have had a slightly off night but the tastiness was still okay, although I was expecting more. Once they can up their game a little bit more, I will surely visit again.
Wesley B — Google review
Stay away from this place if you have food allergies. They do not cater to people with food allergies. I ordered a lamb burger and fries, there was more bread than lamb. I then ordered a coconut crush and was informed the blender was broken. You would think a popular place such as this would have a backup unit? I don’t think they really care about delighting their customers.

Caribbean Taste is a popular restaurant located in English Harbour, offering a true taste of the Caribbean. The restaurant is known for its authentic Antiguan and Caribbean dishes made with fresh seafood, vegetables, fruits, and spices. Visitors can enjoy specialties like ducana, chicken and conch roti, goat curry, and conch salad. The restaurant also hosts a famous Sunday afternoon barbecue party featuring Caribbean-flavored live music and English Harbour rum punch.
Off the main road in English Harbour, sitting all by itself is a wonderful little gem of a place serving some traditional caribbean food. Looking over the hand written menu on the chalkboard, it all looked so good that I had no clue where to start. So the first time I just asked for a recommendation and it was delicious. It was goat curry with fungi. The quaint little restaurant had both seating outside and inside. There was a nice cool breeze, so outside was the place to be. Just a small little family type run establishment not serving anything fancy, just decent, quality local meals, all of which were delicious. I had to have a crab cake on almost every visit, even though it was a bit pricey. The taste was just that good. Jerk conch was another favourite. I also tried the jerk chicken which was very different than what I was expecting (thinking of roadside jerk chicken stands). Nonetheless, delicious. During a slow time, speaking with one of the person running the place, you could tell she really had pride in her work and was really down to earth type of person. It wasn't just a business to make money, it was love of creating and sharing the wonderful food. This is definitely well worth taking a quick detour off the main road!
Hobo T — Google review
What a delicious evening meal! I had the jerk conch and my partner had the beef ribs. I had never had conch before and I was impressed - it was slightly chewy and then melted in my mouth, and the jerk spice complimented it perfectly. We were also given complimentary bread to start. The couple who runs this restaurant clearly cares about hospitality and they have a lovely restaurant here. Thank you for a great experience!
Christina R — Google review
We stopped here for lunch during a visit in English Harbour. Excellent local eatery serving local Caribbean and Antiguan cuisine. It is located a block away from the main street. The server/owner(?) was very friendly and helpful with our questions of the menu. Prices were excellent as we were used to paying higher prices at more touristy locations. We ordered the local lunch (fungee and ducana, the national dish of Antigua), stew beef and fresh juices (gooseberry, tamarind, passionfruit) and it tasted delicious!
Bruce L — Google review
Tucked away on a side street away from the other businesses, this place is a local gem. The owners are very nice and hospitable and love children. The food is delicious. Everything is handwritten and freshly made for you. We enjoyed every bite of our octopus ceviche, the crab cake, jerk conch and goat curry. All sides were delicious. All food is made with love and I would Highly recommend this local Caribbean gem.
Ma — Google review
We're staying in the area and wanted a authentic Caribbean experience, I was most excited to try ducana but wasn't seeing it on the menu of other restaurants nearby. Luckily, we stumbled upon Caribbean Taste and were blown away. We tried the chicken and conch roti, ducana dish, goat curry, and conch salad dishes. All were outstanding, the roti filling was flavorful, piping hot and the dough was a perfect texture. We loved it so much the first time, we came back the next day to try more- and we will be back again! All paired perfectly with local passionfruit juice. The people working were friendly and helped us navigate the menu (and not over order)
Makenna M — Google review
Visited restaurant to taste the local Antiguan National dish of Fungee and Ducana. I can't say if it is the best on the island because it is the first time I am eating this dish. It is very tasty. Top notch! Be SURE to ask for the hot sause whether you like hot sause or not. Just take a small taste!
Esmond B — Google review
The level of service and hospitality at Caribbean Taste is truly of the charts. This little gem is somewhat hidden and Google maps was having difficulty finding it. One of the staff actually came out to the main road and directed us in. Beyond the food, just as a taste of the vibe that Caribbean people are known for, Caribbean Taste cannot be beat. And then there's the food. We had crab cakes and curried goat, all of which was excellent. We have eaten at higher prices places close by that cannot hold a candle to the food quality here. If you like some spice in your life ask them for some of their in house hot sauce, which packs a satisfying kick that isn't overwhelming but cookies up with great flavor.
A E — Google review
We started with the calalou soup and lobster bisque. Wow, what a treat! We then moved on to the jerk conch and curry goat. What a wonderful meal to share together. The eggplant cake was an unexpected joy to the pallet. We were very happy to see their signs and follow the arrows, well worth the trek off the beaten path, well worth it!

Nestled in the vibrant heart of St. John's, Cafe Bella is a delightful spot that transcends the typical café experience. While it may not be a full-fledged restaurant, its enticing sandwiches and aromatic coffee make it an ideal lunch destination. Unlike many cafes that offer an array of flavored coffees, Cafe Bella has recently spiced up their menu with unique options like white chocolate mocha alongside classic flavors such as vanilla and hazelnut.
Well I have just had one of the nicest Mediterranean Greek salad with chicken I have every had , it was a late lunch so around 2pm and the young lady who made my salad did an amazing job it was beautiful , fresh salad and the chicken was tender , my coffee came in excellent time , one of the best things about Bella is the coffee is hot , a lot of other coffee shops the coffee is like warm, we have always liked going to Bella know we love it

Waited well over an hour for burger and fries with 10 customers in the place. Not once did a staff member come over and explain or apologise for the delay. Unbelievably when the food finally arrived, the fries were cold!!! These people are operating beyond their ability… in the kitchen and front of house.

I love this place...the old chef in the front got an issue though lol. Be blessed. Great drinks! Their bellochino is great! My fav is caramel then chai! And competitive prices!
Danielle B — Google review
One of the best beef burger in town (in addition to Garden Grille near La Busola). They cook their own beef patties! Surprisingly no french fries. But that's okay. Their hash brown is even better. No Starbucks or Coffee Bean on the island??! No problem. Cafe Bella is the second best thing. I've tried their iced coffee and cappuccino. Both were absolutely delicious. Chocolate cake was not so good, though, as it lacked the chocolate essence to it. It tasted more like a diet chocolate cake. Might as well enjoy a tiny one from Epicurean (grocery store). Chicken soup flavor was decent, but a tad salty. Don't expect too much from their customer service. There are good days and bad days. Regardless, this is the closest Starbucks-like joint you'll get on the island with surprisingly great meals. The only downside, they close 4 PM daily and all day Sundays. Cafe Bella is near Epicurean (grocery store), movie theater, Harpers (office supplies), Home Depot -like store (next door) and more. Menu images taken June 3rd, 2017 (breakfast image a little blurry). They have daily specials, i.e. shrimp plate. My friend who loves shrimp enjoyed hers. You can call to order ahead only. No deliveries, even through QuickServe (you can check them out on Facebook or download the app (less restaurant options through the app). Cash and credit card accepted.

Perched high above Dickenson Bay, The Bay House Restaurant & Bar in Antigua offers stunning views and a diverse menu for all-day dining. From eggs Benedict for breakfast to jerk chicken for lunch and Barbuda rock lobster for dinner, the restaurant caters to various tastes. It is a popular spot among locals, business travelers, and tourists alike, offering catering services for events such as weddings and corporate functions.

For You to understand the severe nature of this post, I would like to preface by saying that I have never written nor have I posted a food review in my 29 years on Gods earth. But for Bay House I will make an exception. I paid THIRTY NINE EASTERN CARIBBEAN DOLLARS for the salad on the left. That salad was from Bay House. I have no idea whether it is chicken or fish. I have nearly finished my meal. It was supposed to be a chicken Caesar salad. Why is a random nacho on the top of my salad? Avoid this place like the plague! The bottom right picture is a chicken taco salad bowl from El Taco Loco which cost me 29 dollars. Just save yourself the headache and go there instead

We visited on a Thursday night, with only a few other tables in attendance. Service was very slow from the start despite there being staff on hand. Food options weren't all there unfortunately. I got a seafood fettuccine which was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals too. I would go again.

Bay House Sunday Brunch is quite good. A good mix of local and international cuisine with options of all taste. The entertainment is a delightful bonus. The view never disappoints and it is always cool, with the tropical breeze or the fans.

Wait time was the killer here. The restaurant was nearly empty and still took over 1 hr a half to get our meal. However the food was very tasty and the staff were friendly too. I had a curry creamy seafood pasta. I did not enjoy my cocktail but would return to try other food. My friend had the ribs which was also tender and delicious.

It's a great place to catch up with friends and family. Day or night, the ambiance is suitable for a table for two or more. After breakfast or lunch, take pictures near the pool and the garden, or use the beautiful back drop of the turquoise sea. The staff service is very good 👍. Would highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call to make reservations to ensure seating.

Delicieux Cafe is a hidden gem nestled in Heritage Quay, just a stone's throw from the Antigua Cruise Port. This charming spot offers an impressive breakfast menu featuring an array of pastries, omelets, sandwiches, and pancakes that are sure to delight your taste buds. The cafe prides itself on using fresh, high-quality ingredients for their delicious coffee and tea drinks. The atmosphere at Delicieux Cafe is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind while enjoying your meal.
Delicieux Cafe is located in Heritage Quay and provides delivery in and out of town. They also offer great ambience for their customers. Their pastries are delicious and the breakfast served is extraodinary. Chicken & Waffles is my favourite meal from them and it's ONLY $17 EC. Incredible! You could read about how much I enjoyed it or you can go and check it out for yourself. I'd advise the latter 🙏 ENJOY 👏

Popped in for lunch while taking a look around St John's, really good chicken sandwich very good staff. Plus it's a little place, quiet, feels like a local place and a nice place to be. Shout out for free WiFi, thank girls.
Andrew W — Google review
To the amazing staff at Delicieux Cafe, thank you for making my weekly visits ones that I looked forward to! Where do I begin-- from the first day that I walked in and was greeted, I felt welcomed and warm, and immediately fell in love with the vast assortment and creative breakfast options (banana fritters and breakfast taco being my fav!) As I am a digital nomad, on each visit, the team ensured that I had enough wifi access to get my work done, even offered an extension cord when my power was going out, and never pressured me to feel like I had to leave. The food and the menu is creative, and the business is owned by a local Antiguan, and supported by many of the local shops/banks/office workers in the area. They always sell out of their lunch special-- so be sure to get there early! My only critique which gives it 4 stars and not 5, is that the location lacks proper ventilation and there are no windows, so it is very dark inside and if you sit for more than 10 minutes, be prepared to spritz yourself with cologne/perfume. Other than that-- my #1 spot in St. Johns for working remotely from, best service from a local spot, they are friendly to other local Antiguans and make you feel like you are a part of the community! I absolutely would recommend this business, and more local shops should model their service like this cafe!

Delicatesse is a charming café nestled in the heart of downtown St. John's, offering an enticing menu that features a variety of sandwiches, quesadillas, bagels, wraps, and pancakes. Complement your meal with their delightful selection of beverages like coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or refreshing fruit drinks. The atmosphere is modern and tranquil—perfect for unwinding while enjoying delicious food presented beautifully by a dedicated team who genuinely care about their craft.
Food is so good. Every thing was just right. Fried Jasmin rice was amazing. My first time having it that way. Great interaction with customers. I love the engagement. Can't will to go back...it's a must when I'm in Antigua!!
Faydine R — Google review
My partner and I came here for some breakfast. T I had the the breakfast burrito with egg, sausage and cheese. They had the breakfast burrito with fish, egg and cheese. Both were delicious and they were very generous with the protein! The burrito also included veggies and their house sauce. I usually like my burritos really saucy so I asked for some mayo and sweet chilli on the side. We also had an iced coffee with caramel and cinnamon brewed fresh. The bathroom was clean. The overall atmosphere was great, while it is a small spot but we were seated comfortably at the bar. The owner was working that morning and he was a pleasure to speak to. There was another young man working, he was also very kind. They had a great system going! By time we were ready to leave orders were picking up for the lunch rush. While we only went for breakfast their menu was extension and looked fantastic. 10/10 and I will be back. PS don't forget to sign their wall!

I usually just give a pros and cons review, however, this Cafe has earned some bias with me. The fae itself is run be some incredible young men who really put their heart into everything they do. The food was amazing and had great presentation, the service made me feel welcomed and almost too comfortable. Even with a small place to work with the interior looks really nice and my group enjoyed every minute.

Nestled in the northern part of Antigua near Crosbies, Sips & Tips is a modern cafe and wine lounge that has quickly become a beloved spot for both locals and visitors. With an impressive menu featuring diverse and delicious food options, along with an extensive wine list, it’s no wonder this place has garnered such a loyal following. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by weekly karaoke nights on Wednesdays, which draw in crowds looking for some fun.
I really like the setup of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting. They also have karaoke. The staff is very friendly as well. Will definitely come here when I come back on vacation. This spot was a recommendation, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Good local spot for food. Went for bunch on Sunday which’s pparently is the only menu fir Sunday along wirh the specials. I tried the grilled lobster which was good. It came with a side of cilantro rice and veggies. Lobstrr was well seasoned and did not require the garlic butter. My party had breakfast which was standard but good. Requested dessert which was brought in a paper bag however my intention was to eat in. Waitress was not personnalve and when asked for recommendations she stated everything was good The white rum cake was also good. Coconut crush was salso good and not too seeet. The prices are on the higher end and believe you are paying for the ambiance.

I visited this place on a Thursday night. Their menu is not attractive. Crab cakes and Antiguan Meatballs were yummy. Meatballs were cold. The fried calamari was overcooked. The chicken quesadilla was terrible. Soaked in oil and there was a green veggie ingredient (probably Kale) that made it taste worse. Their Old Fashioned Rum Punch was good. The service staff is polite. This place is overpriced. For the same money I spent here, I went to Le Bistro which is not far from there and is consider one of the best restaurants of the island.

Visiting Sips and Tips on August 13th, 2025, during my first visit to Antigua turned out to be unforgettable, for all the wrong reasons. Upon entry, there was no greeting, and I had to ask a server for a table. We were handed menus and told someone would be right with us, but after 5 minutes, no one came by, and the server was busy elsewhere. We requested to sit outside and such was permitted but the same thing happened. Another 10 minutes passed with no service, even after a reminder that we were ready to order. A further 20 minutes of waiting followed, while newer guests were being served first and we again reminded another server that we were ready to order but same result, nothing. After a total of 40 minutes was wasted, we chose to leave. The only apology, a perfunctory half-hearted one, felt like the final slap from the initial server. As a Caribbean visitor(I'm Trinidadian), I left thinking this misstep reflected poorly on Antigua. I won’t be back to Sips and Tips , nor will I recommend it to others.

This is by far my favorite place to have lunch/dinner. The variety of food is always pleasing, have tried most of the dishes and I have never been disappointed, the atmosphere for dinner is my favorite by far, service has been pleacent most of the times, staff is really nice but sometimes may not be the best, however is something you can work with.
Sam T — Google review
I came here with a friend for lunch. The atmosphere was nice but the waitress who took our order forgot to tell the people at the bar our order for our drinks. Before ordering, we asked for separate bills (we were later given one bill). We waited 2 hours for our drinks. The waitress did not come back and check up on us to ask us how was the food or anything of the sort but was instead busy elsewhere. Before I continue this review, I will let it be known that I have been here several times and I have had issues each time. Continuing the review, I also noted that the prices have increased significantly from the last time I came here. I ordered the steak fajita and although it was delicious, it was a little oily. The menu is not as appealing like I remember. Towards the end, we paid in US dollars but it also seems like they don't know how to convert EC prices to the US prices as they made several mistakes with our change and the customer service was unprofessional. Overall I'm very disappointed with the experience and hoping to see an improvement in the future.

Oh, let me tell you about the hidden treasure that has become one of my favourite pop in places in Antigua – Sips & Tips. This place is an absolute gem, and I can't wait to share my glowing review with you all. The folks at Sips & Tips greeted me with friendly smiles and made me feel like I was catching up with old friends rather than stepping into a restaurant. It's the kind of welcome that instantly puts you at ease and sets the tone for a fantastic time. Now, let's get to the good stuff – the food. Oh boy, where do I even begin? The menu is a delightful mix of local flavors. They serve breakfast, lunch and diner so you can basically visit this spot at any time. With omelettes and iced coffees straight to delicious ribs and amaretto sours, they got you sorted! From juicy local seafood that tastes like it was just plucked from the ocean to creative twists on classic dishes like their Lasagna, every bite was a burst of flavor. And trust me, I'm a foodie, and Sips & Tips definitely meets my expectations. In addition, Sips & Tips has this knack for creating an atmosphere that suits any occasion. Whether you're planning a laid-back hangout with friends or a cozy family dinner, this place has you covered. It's got that wonderful blend of laid-back island vibes and lively energy that makes you feel right at home, no matter the company you're in. So, if you're on the lookout for a spot that combines exceptional service, mouthwatering food, and top-notch entertainment, Sips & Tips is your go-to. It's not just a restaurant and bar; it's an experience that'll make you want to keep coming back for more. I can't recommend it enough – it's a slice of Antiguan paradise that's waiting to be savoured.

Seabreeze Cafe/Bar/Gelateria is a beloved spot on the Antigua boardwalk, offering a delightful waterfront dining experience. With two decades of history, it's a favorite among locals and visiting sailors. The cafe serves up delectable breakfast options, an impressive coffee selection, and freshly baked pastries like croissants and fruit tarts. Additionally, their in-house gelateria produces top-notch ice cream that has been recognized as some of the best in the Caribbean.
Seabreeze is not closed- very much up & running at the AYC Marina. The pizzas are delicious, and a great spot to grab your morning latte or cappuccino from friendly, courteous staff!

A bright place to gather as three cafes merge together in a central space, but the atmosphere was lacking & I’d like to see more engagement from the staff to customer.

This place is delightful! I have to think some of the bad reviews are from the restaurant next door, which I haven't been to. But this place has fast and attentive service, delicious food, and wonderful views as it's right on the water. Fresh squeezed passion fruit juice was the cherry on top! If you're in the area and want food by the water it's absolutely worth going to. The one caviat is that they only accept cash, so make sure to bring cash with you!
Tessa M — Google review
If there was an option to give 0 stars i would. Absolutely astonished this place has such positive reviews (they must be 100% fake). Was held hostage here for over 3 hours (30 mins for our order to be taken, 30 mins for our drinks, an additional 1.5 hours for our food to be served) . We spent over $110 USD for 3 entrees and drinks (a cold & sour burger, dry chicken club, watered down iced coffees). For the love of god please stay away from this restaurant and go eat upstairs at Cloggy's exponentially better. It's like night and day. Fast and attentive service. Seafood was freshly caught, presentation was spectacular and most of all very affordable.

Right at the water's edge of Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Seabreeze is a great place to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and take in the mega yachts docked nearby. I enjoyed an English breakfast after a business meeting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was yummy.

Really nice people running this place and great pizza. My only snag is that they are cash only so I can rarely go there. Xx
Kieghley A — Google review
We came in for a beer and a bagel at lunch. The good thing is that you can have a nice table overlooking the harbour. And that's all with the good things. The two tiny bagels were the kind of frozen ones microwaved, with salmon and cream, no dressing, no side salad, nothing. The 2 beers were the classic Carib beers. We asked for 2 coffees and went for the bill. For 2 bagels, 2 small local beers, 2 coffees, they asked us 51 USD!!! Just to put things into perspective, yesterday I had lunch at half moon bay, having lobster, at 35 usd. So you might as well don't stop at this bar and move to any other places in Antigua where food and service are better and prices correct.

Nestled in the heart of Jolly Harbour, Petal's Cafe is a delightful marina eatery that has quickly become a favorite for both locals and visitors since its grand opening in December 2018. This charming spot specializes in wholesome home-cooked meals, offering an array of delicious options from goat curry to fluffy waffles. If you're craving brunch, their homemade pancakes and traditional Caribbean breakfast plates—complete with salt fish and fried plantain—are must-tries.
We are staying in Jolly Harbour, so this was the closest breakfast spot, but it was a charm to find! The servers are so polite and kind, like you feel right at home with them. While it takes a while for your food to come out, the kitchen is small so it's understandable. And the food is so worth the wait! Everything came out piping hot and insanely delicious. The bacon just melts in your mouth and the breakfast roti is so filling! Even the milk for your coffee is heated for your convenience! If you are close by, definitely stop by Petal's. You won't regret it!

Petal’s Cafe is a locally owned breakfast and lunch place open Monday-Saturday! The wait times can vary depending on how busy it gets- but it’s worth the wait! The owner is very friendly, excellent cook, and enjoys interacting with the guests and providing them with a yummy meal. Even better is the cafe is located near the marina for water views and if you catch it on a rainy day- rainbows can be seen! We ate here 3+ times during our vacation!

We have limited time in Antigua and traveled from our hotel to Petals Cafe only to discover that they are closed for the season (until 10/13/25). We wasted taxi money to get there. They need to update their online presence so that customers are aware of their closure.

We were greeted with a smile and sat at a lovely table in the breezeway. We ordered breakfast roti, ginger tea, cranberry juice and strawberry banana french toast. Our cuisine was made to order and every bit of it was delicious. Petal's is definitely a go-to eatery while on the island. Great service and wonderful food. Thank you Happy vacationing and holiday in Antigua❣🏖

A little difficult to find, but well worth visiting. Petal‘s was one of the culinary highlights on Antigua and the line in front of the cafe speaks for itself. Best roti I have had in a long time. Chicken curry was flavorful and freshly prepared. Portions are HUGE! #eatlocal #travelicious

Petal’s Cafe is by far the best breakfast / lunch spot in Jolly Harbour. I had a lovely omelette for breakfast and an exceptional chicken salad for lunch. Both dishes were incredibly well seasoned and tasted amazing. I also tried some of the chicken rotti which was one of the best I’ve had in Antigua. Petal herself is absolutely lovely and I couldn’t recommend her restaurant enough.

Wa'Omoni's Best Burgers & Water is a must-visit spot in Barbuda, known for its mouth-watering bacon and egg sandwiches that are worth traveling for.
