First time here today, the meals are different and just so good, I had the lamb neck, and the flavour was wonderful and so tender that the lamb melted in my mouth, I got to try the pie and it was just gorgeous, the service is some of the best I have ever had, staff knew the the menu well and there happy to modify the for vegetarians. There's a counter straight in front you full of some fantastic and interesting deserts. I highly recommended this place for a visit for lunch or dinner, you certainly won't be disappointed. Amazing lunch, one of the best lamb pies I’ve eaten. The desserts were delicious, we had to take a few to go! It’s fantastic that a place like this exists in Gippsland! I can’t wait to return.

I have always loved the long paddock. We have eggs and bacon and a coffee every time we come and it’s always consistently delicious. Today was the first time we came with our twins, who are very high energy. And the experience was better than I imagined. Our waitress Leah went above and beyond, and was super helpful and kind. We’ll be back, regularly, with our butter eating children because of this morning, so thank you so much.

This beautiful cafe was the highlight of our trip to the area - it’s definitely worth a short detour via Lindenow. Service is so friendly and warm and genuinely welcoming. Tables out front are perfect- fresh air, shaded, and offer a view of green fields and of local life in this tiny hamlet. Lots of tables are available inside too. The food menu is the star of the show - uniquely creative dishes which not only look gorgeous but are packed full of flavour. And make sure you try one of the sensational sweet treats on display in the glass cabinets - you won’t regret it! Great coffee too. Highly recommended.

Delicious as always. I like their salads as they're so much better than what I make at home, though the pate or terrine are always good options as well My partner had the tuna ceviche which was beautiful as well as tasty. Brought home cakes and ice cream for the kids. Everyone was happy. Crusts are delicate and crisp, the lemon curd was a perfect delicate texture and intense flavour. Chocolate tart was rich and good chocolate.

I can say that this cafe is the best out of many cafes I've been to in Australia. The food is unique, delicious and fresh. Coffee also fantastic. I love this cafe.

This place has beautiful, eye-catching decor with a marine theme that really sets the mood. The food portions are huge and well worth the price. I didn’t ask for chips, and they generously added more salad instead—a nice touch! The fish was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh, straight from the lakes. Great food and atmosphere.

Who don't love good breakfast? That's why we went here. Cafe looked profesional and neat. We ordered the special rightaway. I believe it was zucchini corn fritter and saksuka. We ordered 2 flat whites which come straightaway. Coffee was burn and bitter, I believe maybe so many order for takeaway the barista in rush. We waited more than 30 minutes for our dishes. The cafe not even full. The staff didn't really care that we asked where is our food. I don't know if Albert & Co the corn fritter is normally like that, like uncooked batter and burned outside, once again the staff walk here and there talk with other customers, she saw my unfinished dish didn't bother to ask. Saksuka's egg was cooked which is maybe that's their style. After I checked 1 star reviews, I got it why they didn't care about us.

Great vibes and beautiful environment. Though it's overly hyped, touristy and a little too pricey. For $7 coffee, I'd also expect a decent size cup of coffee but received a flat white slightly bigger than an espresso.

Loved the cheese tasting experience! The cheeseboard was very affordable and more than enough for one person. The place itself was cozy, and it was a nice bonus to be able to see the cows while enjoying the tasting. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed and tasty outing.

I have been meaning to get here for a while, and I'm so glad I finally popped in. They have delicious made in house cheeses as well as some fantastic imported blues. I loved how passionate they are and the explanations on how it's produced was really informative. Best part is the free tasting. Definitely will be back

Great stop for a snack and coffee/hot chocolate on the way to Phillips island. Everything they serve they make from their own farm. Cheese tasted so good. Friendly and very nice owners. Highly recommend.

We stop by for a hot drink on a cool afternoon. A delightful dairy farm produces their delicious creamy milk, cheese, cream, more items on shelves like local jam, and chocolate absolutely beautiful. Their full creamy milk is like taste from heaven. I love it. We will back again on our next trip.

An unplanned stop during our wandering found this gem in Southern Victoria. Great cheese, and coffee. Knowledgeable staff tell you about the cheeses. The cows are currently hand fed, supplementing grass due to continued dry conditions (recent rain grew grass but didn't soak in to the soil). The owners are lovely caring people. A lovely spot to stop for a cuppa and a break. Thoroughly recommended.

By pot-luck, try by reviews, but surprised by the freshness on breakfast and nice coffee. They make my day better with misery weather at this moment. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful. You could enjoy your time with delicious foodies. It's definitely worth coming back next time.

If you're new in Wonthaggi guys this is your place to be for coffees!! I've been struggling to get good coffee since we moved here and Alas! It's a really good place for mothers as well as they have an alleyway which is away from the main area and also keeps the kids safe coz of the sliding doors. Food looked so good too! The go to cafe when in the area. Offers large variety of meals and the meals are excellent quality. Courteous staff. Plenty of parking out front. Offers inside and outside dining areas. Recommend the arancini salad and calmer straight chai tea.

A nice place to have a cuppa and relax. Been here twice to get a soy cappuccino which was beautifully made by Clem (the barista). If you like coffee with more acidity, I reckon you'll love their coffee. Haven't tried their food but all the reviews are great so I might try it next time 😊

Unfortunately recently the meal proportions have drastically reduced. I used to always get chilly scramble eggs. This time it included no corriander my scrambled eggs were crumbly and my fathers poached eggs were solid. The lemon ricotta pancakes have also shrunk with hardly any lemon sauce. My friends kaiserfleich bacon only had a teaspoon of baked beans on it and her childs pancakes were the width of a soft drink can. Very disappointing compared to previous visits

Good food, friendly service. Sat outdoors with dogs, and had a lovely time. Surprising flavours with familiar menu options, was pleasantly surprised at the curry flavoured baked beans. Food is on the pricier side and some of the old favourites are no longer sold (buttermilk pancakes, nourish bowl), but would return for the food and the service.

Visiting from Melbourne. Ordered the Nourish Bowl + side of bacon. It was definitely tasty, with the crisp cauliflower being the star. Unfortunately, the rest of the dish fell flat. The portion was sparse - despite ordering extra bacon, I needed to head to Maccas after to be full. There was barely a smear of tahini to tie the rest of the elements together. The iced latte that I ordered was also tiny - I finished it in two sips! The service, decor and ambience of this place was great though.

Always drop in for some Devonshire tea and yummy goodies from the shop when passing through Yarragon. Staff are super friendly and the food is always fresh. The open fire place adds to a lovely space.

We had a lovely experience at this tearoom! The Devonshire tea was perfect — the scones were fresh, fluffy, and served with delicious jam and cream. The Italian sandwich was also excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing, making it a great spot to unwind over good food and tea. Awesome staff, service and food. We enjoyed their traditional baked potato, beef & burgundy pie and the biggest sausage roll this side of the sun and it was delicious 😋 Went for a walk and then returned for their Devonshire tea which was amazing. Scones are on point, big, beautiful and fluffy on the inside and a super light crunch on the outside. Good pot of tea too.

A great pit stop that offers everything you need for a feed as well as plenty of gastronomical gifts! We enjoyed our treats (blueberry cheesecake slice was delish!) However it was extremely busy on the weekend vs. a weekday.

Pies, sausage rolls and cakes are all amazing!!!!! We came for three times during our stay in Metung. The coffee cake is the must-try! My partner prefer the cheesecake and lamington. I can’t explain how much I love the food here, also grab some cakes to bring back to Melbourne today. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely will come back next holiday.

I am surprised that they have Asian style roast pork. As my wife is lactose intolerant, they custom-made a roast pork sandwich with special sauce, and it end up to be the best sandwich we had during our 2-week trip. The roast pork is tasty and tender while the pork skin is yummy crunchy ! And we have the wonderful coffee to go with.

Tried something different for lunch today and wasn’t disappointed. Lan whipped up a batch of High Protein Bagels today and they are delicious. I had mine toasted with tuna, cheese and mayo to try and be a little healthy. It was absolutely delicious.

Bought take away lunch here twice recently. Wide selection of pastries, cakes, rolls and Banh Mi. Friendly and quick service. Both the chicken and pork rice paper rolls were fresh but tasted slightly bland. Pie and pasty good. Vanilla slice and brownie were yummy!

Overall a wonderfull oasis of calm in a beautiful location with scrumptious food. We had visited Effloresce a year ago and been impressed then; it's safe to say our second visit did not disappoint. It's a small cafe with around four tables but doesn't feel cramped, rather it feels cosy, especially on the rainy day we visited. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the not-too-loud music, charming decor and gift products on display around the cafe. Even the crockery has a gorgeous quaint style to it. The menu is displayed on a little black board which as far as I know remains relatively constant (it was mostly the same last time we visted) and there are fresh cakes, quiches and spanokopita on display in the fridge and other sweets on the counter that have your mouth watering before your food even arrives. I ordered a cheese and bacon quiche while my companions ordered the omelette (made gluten free by omitting the bread), spanokopita and the BLTC. Firstly, the quiche. Accompanied by a garden salad with a tasteful amount of dressing, the quiche was warm and moist, the bacon bringing a burst of salty flavour and the pastry being flaky and buttery but not too hard to cut. Honestly, it was a perfect and satisfying meal; my one critique would be that salad had gourmet lettuce (you know that purple frilly stuff) and I've never been much of a fan (iceburg lettuce or spinach would be much prefered). As far as my companions' meals, I can really only go off their delighted comments and the delicious look of the meals. The omelette was generous in size and look positively luscious with ham, tomato and spinach. The spanokopita's pastry was flaky and golden and both of these meals were served with garden salad also. The BLTC was served on "great bread" according to my sister and looked delicious. Needless to say, all of our meals were devoured gratefully and quickly. Not at all eager to bring an end to such a pleasing dining experience, we ordered drinks and cake. A passionfruit sponge had caught our eyes in the cabinet and did not disappoint with its light, fluffy crumb, moistned by the luscious cream and contrasted by the bright, bite of the passion fruit icing. I ordered a hot chocolate and was again charmed by the quaint crockery, as well as the generous quantity of foam and chocolate powder on top and the perfection of the temperature (didn't burn my tongue despite my impatience but thawed my insides by the chocolaty warmth). Decafe coffees are also available. My sister ordered a milkshake which was apparently "one of the good ones" as far as vanilla milkshakes are concerned. The staff were lovely, accommodating, polite and very knowledgeable (I think the lady who served us had the drinks menu memorised right down to the kinds of tea avaible). All in all, this is a beautiful cafe in a beautiful town, with a beautiful atmosphere and beautiful food. I'd say the name is pretty apt, this place is truly blossoming.

Had lunch here today. Can sit inside or outside either at the front or out the back. Small blackboard menu with no prices. The smoked salmon salad with potato rosti was spot on. So was the pear, almond and chocolate cake with cream. Friendly service.

The coffee is very nice. The strawberry custard tart is a must-try; it’s fresh and delicious, with a good texture of custard and fresh pastry. I will definitely come back again. The staff is lovely.

Upon reading the reviews of their special cakes, decided to visit on the Friday for cake specials. After having a hard time deciding, went with the tiramisu cheesecake, two of my faves in one! Although on the pricey side, it was worth indulging, just divine!

Deliberately went out of our way to visit this place due to the reviews but wouldn’t rate it as a “must” to check out! They seemed to be busy and food in cabinet looked fresh. The only interaction we had was being asked if we wanted coffee as we were standing near that space. The butcher next door and fruit shop is awesome as is a couple other cafes up the street who I’ll also leave a review for

I liked the coffee but my husband didn't. I was shocked though at what was called banana bread. It was a tiny piece, smallest we have ever brought for$6. It came dry and without butter, major rip off

Uh-mazing. I am truly blown away. Sale (and East Gippsland) have really been put on the map now, all thanks to The Hunting Ground. Hidden away on the back streets of Sale, this place has it all. Home made decadent treats that have been crafted to perfection are just the beginning. This cafe brings together the finest local produce there is, showcasing it in a classy, elegant way. There is plenty of parking, but little seating. The coffee was done really well but the dessert was just divine. The staff were accommodating with one staff member always available to give you a run down of the products they sell. However the staff seemed pretty run down. This was an amazing experience and it's so nice to see a country town produce something so spectacular that it's worth the drive.

Sorry, only managed to snap the remnants of this remarkable croque monsieur as it was quickly disappearing. A serious rival to the oozy Susie at the long paddock in Lindenow. Would like to be able to sit and enjoy in store but space is limited, so lakeside will have to do 👍🏻

Lovely coffee guru on the machine. Ask him what his favourite bean is and try it! I did and now it’s my favourite. Despite working in hospitality the guru has maintained an air of friendly calm. Next visit and sadly I have given up caffeine. I don’t feel like I’m missing out however. Check out this herbal offering and only $4.50 😊😊

The young lady that served me was lovely, but the Vanilla Slice I bought is possibly the worst I have ever had. It tastes like lemon, the custard was so dry it separated. Not good.

First day of annual leave and I sat down to a beautiful almond crossiant and cappuccino. The pies and cakes here are also amazing. And the staff are beautiful, patient and helpful. Go on, treat yourself

Located close to Pakenham train station and on the main street, Australian bakehouse cafe is on the intersection of main street and drake place. I have been regular visitor at this cafe and it is always nice to enjoy my in coffee and breakfast as the vibes are quite positive. Today I had a Coffee latte, Veggie Toastie and Veggie Pastie. Photos attached. on top the food, weather had been very supportive. Hence, we ate our breakfast in outdoor area. They do have an indoor setting and outdoor setting. Also, I was tempted to have a pastrie which looked really nice. Although, avoiding sugar so I did not try it. I would personally recommend anyone who is willing to spend their morning with their loves ones with a wonderful breakfast.

Firstly, I’m not a coffee connoisseur or snob!!! But I know what I like and I love LOVE LOVE good customer service. When someone takes the time to make it feel personal and is actually interested in you not just getting your order out and paid for. We bought today Friday 15 August, apple slices,vanilla slices and chocolate eclairs, all where so stale we threw them away after just trying a little.🤮🤮Waste of money We won’t go there ever again. You should too go somewhere else.Don’t spend your hard earned money on the stale sweets.

This is great bakery - Coffee is also great. I went in for breakfast. I had a good time enjoying some nice coffee and party sausage rolls and party pies. The owners even added some complimentary chips. I really enjoyed the quality of the service and caring staff.

We went here for the first time for brunch. Staff were polite and quick to find us a table. Fantastic menu. Great new dishes. We tried two new dishes and loved it. They were full of flavours and decent portions too. Coffee was not so great. Mild flavours, not hot (even though I had asked for extra hot).

Been coming here for awhile and it never disappoints. Food, service and atmosphere are always on point. The decor of the place is simple yet warm. Everything on the menu is delicious and good portions sizes. My partner and I couldnt resist the pastry and ordered takeaway. Do try the triamisu as you wont regret it.

Via Porta is by day time a cafe and on Friday and Saturday nights lowers the lights and becomes a little part of Italy! The menu is nice and balanced and overall well priced and super tasty! It’s become quite a destination for locals who book well in advance and the second floor is full as is the main cafe dining room! Service was professional, excellent, friendly and the service team were very welcoming and helpful and to their credit very knowledgeable. The best part is they offer BYO - wine only but that for sure helps with the overall value!! Parking was a slight challenge, but overall I would for sure recommend it as a first local dining experience. Make sure you book well in advance! Enjoy

One of my absolute favourite places to go for pasta, ingredients are always fresh and flavourful. The gnocchi is a must try! Their crab spaghetti is also amazing. The decor and atmosphere is also very lovely and picturesque.

Delicious dinner set menu for a very reasonable price, all the starters were great to kick start the appetite, and the steak was beautifully cooked. Staff were super attentive and bartender made a mean cocktail. A shot of limoncello after dinner was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Via Porta in Mount Albert has an ambience that is warm, chic, and upscale, giving the perfect touch of modern elegance with a rustic European charm. Even though we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table, the staff made the experience seamless — checking in on us regularly and making sure we were comfortable while waiting. Once seated, the food quickly proved why this café is so popular. The Caramel Latte was an absolute treat — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. We started with the Crispy Eggs, paired with smoked ham hock, sweet potato purée, candied walnuts, and a refreshing side salad. It was a masterpiece of textures and flavours. We also tried the Eggs in Arrabbiata Sauce with warm pita bread. Bold, hearty, and deeply satisfying — this dish is a must-try for anyone who loves a little kick in their brunch. To finish, we couldn’t miss their famed French Toast with poached pears, and honestly — it deserves every bit of the hype. Indulgent yet refined, this might just be the best French toast in the world.

The dining area is unclean, the acoustics are awful, and there aren't enough chairs! The fried snacks were decent, and the drink selection was fine, but the burger bun was stale and dry, and the burger itself lacked flavor. Given the number of people who come here and the lack of competition, it's only fair to expect they invest in a skilled chef and professionals to create a menu that's both tasty and varied. They can still use pre prepared and frozen ingredients but a few tweaks and changes are much needed. Souvenirs and other supplies are practical and great.

It doesn't look very big at first glance from the outside but it's actually quite big inside, had more items than I initially expected, especially considering its location. In addition to your everyday groceries, they also have souvenirs, clothing, toys, souvenirs, hot and cold cafe style food, some hiking and camping equipment. Friendly staff.

Tidal Wave General Store , honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I had read some reviews before coming, with complaints about prices, limited stock, etc. But after a long day touring Wilsons Prom, I was just happy to find a shop where I could grab some chips and (very expensive) water. Let’s be real when you’re in a national park with no other options, you know the prices will be high. Not happy, we drove to this place just for a coffee and they told us it’s not available 40min before closing. After being denied coffee service, we asked for milkshakes instead, which they were also unable to make. Is it really that difficult to blend a milkshake? If you’re unable to serve beverages 45 mins before closing then you may as well advertise an earlier closing

Lovely selection of sweet treats - the lemon meringue pie was TDF (to die for)! Coffee needs an extra shot (so order one), but is extra hot and good for warming the soul.

Come on you are in hospitality industry!!! I understand people have no other choice to buy coffee in the ara and the only reason people are in the Cafe!!!

Worst Espresso Ever Unfriendly disinterested staff, food is usually standard/decent but the espresso is atrocious. About 1/5 th the size of a typical espresso literally a couple drops and even then it was watery.... and tasted bad.

Cute spot. Quaint interior looking like an old school milk bar and a nice outdoor seating area too. Sweets like donuts and cruffins looked nice. Coffee was decent. Wouldn’t mind sitting in next time for a sandwich and coffee in a real cup. Convenient location for food and drink right next to the park.

One of the best cafes in the area. I loved the inside decor and the seating is amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered magic late. It was delicious and strong. Anyone who need to taste how coffee should be , he should come there. I do recommend it for sure and I will definitely come back.

Loved everything about our Mount Stirling snowshoeing adventure. The guys at the hire shop at telephone box junction (Stirling Experience) were helpful beyond their duties, communicating outside of business hours, helping us with toddler snowshoeing gear when ours failed to be delivered on time from another shop, and no other shops hired out gear that was small enough. They also communicated to the resort patrol when we spontaneously decided to camp an extra night at Bluff hut, ensuring we don't get fines on our car. The food at the cafe was lovely, and great to cosy up at the fire place inside or at their camp fire at the front.

Perfect spot for the kids to snow play. The road up is unsealed but well maintained. The tobogganing slope was right next to the car park. A cafe and ski hire nearby. A toilet/change room behind the cafe. We only planned to toboggan but the 4&8yo also wanted to try skiing. We missed out on lessons but were kitted up and directed to a training slope. We spent way longer there than I thought we would (everyone actually enjoying the many numerous falls). The Cafe was warm and inviting. Awesome hot drinks and food choices plus a roaring fire to quickly dry our wet cuffs. Everyone was so friendly. Annabelle in the cafe. Panda in the ski hire. And everyone we met and chatted to everywhere in between.

This is at the junction to the Circuit Road from here in summer you can travel that road to a number of huts and other 4wd tracks. There is a cafe and ski hire business here but the cafe was not open the day we went through.

Very small place. Good for first timers. Nice in Winter and I guess in Summer too. Its good for small kids toboggans or intermediate to advanced cross country skiers. Mt Stirling Cafe is ok, but the young waitress needs customer service readjusting. Rest of the staff are welcoming.

The facilities at Telephone Box Junction (TBJ) are very good in the winter with an excellent ski patrol, well-stocked ski hire, cosy public shelter and cafe and a heated toilet block. If the snow is melting, the carpark can turn into a slushy, muddy swimming pool which makes it hard to keep footwear dry. It is therefore important to have boots or ski boots on your feet the moment you get out of your car and then watch where you step. Hence the 3 star rating. However under dryer snow conditions, the carpark is fine.

Such a wonderful treat for Kilcunda. The most beautiful coffee, treats, produce and for me, the real stand out, is the architecture and view - it's just perfect. I love coming here for a coffee after a big coastal walk and taking it all in. Dream little place.

I visited briefly and got chatting to the owner. The place has a wonderful ambience and chill with a definite boho beach vib while architecturally blending with the surrounds of Kilcunda’s rolling dunes and starkly ocean views. I didn’t try the food but I’ll be going back there as soon as I get a chance.

Funkey Monkey Cafe at Lakes Entrance is a solid choice for a meal in a tourist spot. Prices are reasonable, the food portions are generous and tasty, and the coffee is smooth and served quickly. However, the wait time for food was long, especially during our brunch visit on a public holiday. One thing to note: we were initially seated at a four-seat table, but when a two-seat table became free, we were asked to move. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered to carry our coffee, water, and cakes over. Interestingly, by the time we left, the original four-seat table still hadn’t been taken. We’re happy to help with seating efficiency but would appreciate if moves are only requested when necessary or with a bit more assistance. Overall, a nice spot with good food, just room for a little more customer care.

The place was busy, however we got a seat quicker than we thought. The food was average, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. However, you can’t change anything from the menu (no modification or alteration to the food you want to order) and no sharing plates (you eat what you ordered). They mentioned those changes are due to short staffed, however, it was inconvenient. Chicken burgers were massive. My friend said it was average taste. Big breakfast was okay, egg was overcooked, and I couldn’t swap the sausage so it looked less for what I paid. The pastry was nice and yummy.

This is a great place to go for a delicious meal and coffee. We had breakfast there and I had the Big Breakie and my wife the Chilli Scrambled Eggs and both were very nice. The Cappuccino I also had was the best. The staff were also friendly and accommodating.

Came here for the first time for our 1 year wedding anniversary last night and it was amazing! Food was exceptional, staff were very well trained and an absolute delight, the ambiance was perfect, an all around great restaurant and will definitely be back!

Best scotch fillet steak I've had. Medium rare to perfection, crispy on outside, juicy on inside. The potato's and roast kale garnish perfectly compliment the dish. And the sauce I couldn't get enough of Barramundi I wasn't a fan of, not that crispy, and doused heavily In beetroot puree which I thought was overkill. But tastes okay. Truffle/parmesan chips were a delight. Waitresses were very kind and mindful and demure.

Brilliant! Our first visit to Momo definitely won't be our last. Friendly fast service upon arrival, even though we didn't book. Our meals- fish of the day and pork belly were divine. The quality and presentation of the food was 5 star. The flavours had us in heaven. We shared a banana fritter for dessert and once again were impressed. Can't wait to go back!!

We had a function upstairs on Saturday the 28/6 and the staff were absolutely incredible! Great customer service, super lovely and helpful with everything including set up and pack up. The food was delicious and all our guests loved it! The atmosphere was beautiful and is the perfect size for a function like ours. Had such a pleasant get together at Momos. The service was absolutely fantastic from the short dark haired girl. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing . The large table at the front window is the place to be. It's brighter and quiter.

This place was very busy when we arrived. We were able to get seating inside or outside. The staff were very friendly and greeted us in and showed us the specials. You order at the counter. They will bring you cutlery with your meal. They make their own fudge, which is nice. I had high hopes for this place but the food and coffee was very average. Poached eggs overdone. Bread not buttered. Mushrooms dry and overcooked. No seasoning on anything. Also there was a random clump of what seemed to be tomato paste at the bottom of the bacon. I will say the portion size of the bacon was generous though. Sausage seemed to be cheap thin and store bought. The hashbrowns were good and crispy. The coffee tasted bitter and burnt. The hazelnut syrup they use is barely noticeable. The milk was creamy and good consistency though. All and all a pretty average experience.

I never write bad reviews but this was sadly not really enjoyable. I had high hopes and I had been here over the years but it's really gone down hill. They used to sell drinks in bowls which was a great novelty, now it's just a really large mug. The coffee was mediocre. The big breakfast my husband got was good but I ordered the chicken burger since other reviews said it was one of the only good things and it was terrible. The chicken was fake and greasy - not a schnitzel at all. The chips that came with it were barely cooked, pale and not crispy. The only good part was the burger bread. The tomato was under ripe and the lettuce was leafy greens not the type you put in a burger. It felt like a bad pub, meal not worth $20+. It's clearly gotten worse over the years. Also we tried to go yesterday and they were closed at 11.30 and I scoured the internet for notices saying it was closed and there was nothing, not even a sign out front, just closed.

The food here was quite disappointing. We ordered fish and chips, where the fish was very small in quantity while being overpriced. We also ordered chicken burger, which was really dry with very little flavour. The portion size was good but it wasn’t satisfying. The only good thing was the vanilla milkshake. Overall, 2/10.

Arrived around 1.40 on a Friday to find they were only offering outdoor dining (they'd cleaned the tables inside). It was freezing and breezy outside. We were not greeted warmly by the lady behind the counter and felt like an inconvenience from the start. There were around ten customers in the 30 mins we were there, many who decided to get takeaway or just leave because the environment was not welcoming. I had an overpriced and really not tasty GF haloumi burger which was dumped in front of me by a disgruntled waitress. With GF charge added my burger seemed to be around $18 and contained what tasted like cheap pesto, a small piece of haloumi, a soggy mushroom and some spinach. My friend's corn fritters looked much nicer. The man working seemed much nicer and went out of his way to help the ladies on the next table.

Lovely quirky cafe! The food was delicious! Hubby had the BIG breakfast and I had the potatoe in jacket. Large meals! We would highly recommend these to dishes. Coffee was good, too. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Gorgeous atmosphere and great service, lovely food. We are travelling and wanted something, but we couldn't have eaten a huge full breakfast, so I asked if we could share one. No problem, they even served it on two plates for us, and it was still a huge breakfast for each of us.

Best coffe stop in Rosedale for Coeliacs. Coffee great and a good variety of gluten free cakes. The highest gluten free sponge I have ever seen and I enjoyed the first wagon wheel I have had in over 20 years. Thank you 😊

A quirky cafe with a menu of homemade treats, have visited a few times with old and new owners. I've never been disappointed here. The wow recently, though, i highly recommend a toastie, but bring an apetite! Young servers learning the trade, it seems. But an all-around nice spot that is well worth a visit.

It’s a delightfully quirky and warm cafe. It’s full of interesting things that someone has lovingly collected over the years. The whole effect is a delight. Full marks first off for the chilled water delivered to the table. Not the warm stuff you get in so many cafes these days. Lovely music playing here too. Someone’s cleverly designed playlist was happily in use. Fantastic loo here too. You need to see it to believe it. I ordered the creamy potato and cauliflower soup which came with a large cheese scone. Both were superbly made. You can’t make soup much better than this. It was absolutely delicious as was the accompanying scone. The service here overall was warm and friendly. It’s a great cafe, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I have never seen or heard of the idea of putting beef brisket onto an eggs benedicts but that was a stroke of genius by whoever thought of it. It was delicious and has now become my favourite type of eggs benny! I am only in Sale for a short while so I will be sad to part ways with it in a couple weeks time. The star of the show was obviously the brisket. All the components were well prepared and cooked and were top standard. The balance of the dish with the avocado to balance the richness of the brisket was well done. Eggs were poached beautifully and the whole thing was 10/10. The brisket was the main attraction and I am pleased that it did not disappoint. Tender and rich. Filled with flavour and juices. It was magnificent and I am pleased that there was plenty of it in the serve. Coffee was nice and strong and delicious. Exactly what I needed and the whole cafe experience was cozy and friendly. I will definitely come again.

Finally a salad worth paying money for: the roasted vegetables and chicken salad from Raymond Cafe! Nice big chunks of chicken, lovely roasted pumpkin, capsicum and zucchini, and the nice touch of flavour with the goats cheese - delicious! Great atmosphere and service too!

We had been here on Father's Day. The staff were nice and managed to get us a table for four in no time. We ordered the food, which in my opinion was a tad pricey. We had ordered fried chicken wings with chips, a couple of burgers and a tortilla wrap. The tortilla wrap was customised as per request to have the bacon removed. The food looked great but to be honest, didnt sit well in our tummies. The tortilla was a huge disappointment... tasted bland !

Great service and great food! Stopped by here recently for brunch on our way to Lake Tyers and were greeted by the super friendly staff the moment we walked in. We ordered the Frankies Fried Chicken Burger and the Frankies Benny served Florentine and both dishes arrived quickly. The meals were absolutely delicious and were very filling. The atmosphere was also great as the staff were so happy. It was a such a nice thing to see these days and a true reflection of the management and team working together! Only issue we had was that it was cold inside but no matter, next time we’ll bring a coat!

I was charged $7 for a plastic cup of soda water with ice after already paying $9.50 for a chai and $28 for a burrito all takeaway. I am still in shock a day later. After telling them I couldn’t pay $7 for the cup of soda (I had assumed I was buying a big bottle of it for $7) it was (without a smile) refunded at my request and the cup was taken back off me. It was returned after my shock registered I think with the line “have it because it will just go down the drain”. This, I assume, was soda on tap. Also $28 for a burrito with chicken and beans is bonkers. People in Warragul must be making a killing to be able to afford to eat here.

Down the main road, we were looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This place seemed busy, so I gave it a try. Firstly the staff are so friendly and respectful and a real positive to the overallexperience. We had the bacon and egg sandwich, and it was delicious plenty of bacon. I wanted a second one. The coffee was just ok for me. I ordered a latte, and it was really milky. The beans used are good, but the coffee didn't stand up to the name of the place. It's not a deal breaker for me. I would go back for the food but would try coffee elsewhere first.

The staff were very accommodating! My wife had a soy cappuccino, and I had a soy chai latte — we both really enjoyed them. We also loved the warm banana muffin!

Food was very good, only downside was the turkish bread could have been toasted a little longer, so it did not go soggy. Banana smoothie and spiced chai were excellent. Service was fantastic, friendly, pleasant, and very helpful, even though they were extremely busy on this Easter Saturday. Would definitely come back.

Felt scammed on the 7th September - unless the menu is deceiving and requires an update. A toast advertised with 4 standard fillings is advertised for $10.5 x 3 people. The staff asked for $15+ x 3 people approximately on father day. When trying to discuss they advised that any filling including the standard ones are extras. This is not what is in the menu. And i ordered the same 5 days ago and was charged $10 per toast 5 days ago. I can expect a 10-20% surcharge on father day, but not 50%. I have been to bloody good coffee for a couple of years- and i felt it was great food, nice people and staff. But, something is not right there. Recommend to change the menu to clearly and explain how you charge your customers - unless, i was scammed on this day. i do not think i will come back unfortunately. If customers know what they will have to pay and matches the menu - more or less - this place can be 5 stars. Not sure what is happening there.

I came here at the beginning of 2023 and loved this cute shop. But I came back now in October because it has such a nice vibe. The coffee lives up to the name and the food is fabulous. I wish I could go here everyday. The staff here are very friendly and have a kind atmosphere about them. Such a yummy variety of food to choose from and it did not disappoint. It reminds me of my family coffee bookshop in New Norfolk in Tassie. Hope to come back soon.

Opening hours should perhaps be adjusted to allow staff to set up. Either that or please wake up earlier & get in earlier to set up. Had to wait past the opening hours stated, for this reason. Breakfast is simple but tasty. It was nice to have traditional basic pancakes with a ball of ice cream that had a beautiful vanilla flavour with maple syrup. A nice change from the over the top pancakes in Melbourne. The toastie was cut in little triangles. Cute.

Where would Morwell be without Qu Bah? This is our go-to for dates, birthday dinners, breakfasts, coffee catch ups or cocktails before a movie. With so many restaurants and cafes closing or just changing, I am so glad that Qu Bah has been a consistent, reliable presence in the Valley for so many years. Please never change drastically or leave us!!!

Stopped in for a quick bite before a movie and WOW! Very impressed! We ordered a few small plates off the tapas menu plus a couple of drinks and were astonished at the value for money! Very generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced! We also made the staff aware that we were pressed for time and the food came out in no time at all. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the atmosphere inside is quite lovely! Thankyou guys, we will be back for a proper sit down meal soon!

Stopped in for a number of meals here over the weekend, staff were super friendly and accommodating to our large group, food came out fast and fresh! Be warned the Brekkie roll is a monster! The pesto gnocchi was absolutely delicious, creamy but not too heavy and the crispy spinach was excellent.

Tried the smoked beef jalapeno cheddar and it was delicious. My only critique was that the pastry was a little bland and lacked the rich butter flavour I was expecting as well as the cheese used. The meat filling was wonderfully smoky, savoury and rich. It was Well seasoned and they were generous with the jalapenos. The cheese was the single plasticky kind of cheese, I would have preferred a sharp cheddar which would have complemented the pie better but overall a fantastic pie! Cost was $7 and well worth it.

Fabulous cakes and pies. I didn't believe we could be lucky enough to ever find a bakery that sold nice cakes and pies together but now we have ! We visited Paul the Piemans twice while staying in Inverloch and we extremely happy with everything we had. I can now recommend the beesting cakes, chocolate eclair, cream jelly cakes, beef brisket pie, potato / Shepard's pie , party pie and the pastie. The pastie was just like I remember as ibkid with flakey pastry, chinks of potato ,peas etc. We'll definitely be going back to Paul the Piemans when we visit Inverloch again.

Great location right in the middle of town, with parking available near the train station—an easy detour off the freeway. While many have rated the food highly, our experience was pretty average. That said, the atmosphere and service were excellent!

I liked the food and the service was great. It was a quieter night than normal, from what I was told. It had a cosy feeling about the place. definitely worth going to again...

They have nice customer service. I personally didn’t like sea food pasta as felt they didn’t cook them properly and not enough spice. However, Chicken Fajita was much better. Also they don’t have big menu and not much option in town. Thanks 🙏

We tried this place as it was open at 6am. Outside deck seating overlooked the start of the township, hanging plants made for a relaxing coffee. It is very popular with the cycle crowd. However, poached eggs were undercooked, the zucchini corn fritter was very small, but large salad on top. Gooey egg whites are a deal breaker, Didn't go back.

Lovely little cafe for brunch. We were here this morning and it was a nice experience. We had eggs Benedict with bacon and mushrooms and fried eggs on toast with bacon. Everything tasted great. Quite a busy place. Coffee was good too.

The beach box had a really good atmosphere with a lot of beautiful plants and greenery. Loved sitting down with a coffee. Service was good but wished there was more smiles from employees. Coffee was about 3/5 The food was unfortunately a little bit bland. Salmon bagel had a little bit too much salad and not enough salmon. Wished there was more with some onion or pickled cucumber for flavour. 2/5 The açai bowl was nice! But a bit too much smoothie and not enough granola and banana to go with it. We ended up with a soup in the end. 2.5/5 Portion sizes might need to be fixed up for these two dishes. The Panna Cotta was definitely the best with a nice portion 4/5. Would love to come back and visit with a couple of nice additions to the meals 😊

Great little stop for breakfast. Just under $30 per person. We ordered poached eggs on toast with added mushroom, tomato, spinach, hash brown and Smashed Avo with added feta and egg. The meal sizes were very generous & yummy, you won’t go hungry. 2 pieces of very thick sourdough in each meal. No inside seating but tables on the deck provide some protection from the wind. I would definitely stop here again

Yum yum yum everything we ordered was yum. Cute cozy little cafe, the staff were friendly, service was fast and did I mention the food was yum. The toastie was thick and perfectly melted cheese, the veggie bagel was delicious and had lots of filling, the smoothies yum. Definately be coming here again

Cafe is cosy with the additional seating by the coonara. However, the hot chocolates were lukewarm warm and the cake we shared was tasty but dry. The prices were a tad high.

In memory of Olive Kombis. In a quite bizarre coincidence on our own roadtrip, we stopped at Loch on 28/6 for lunch at this absolutely delightful Cafe. All food is on display, order from the counter and find a table (or share when full.) Order and be issued a wooden spoon with your number on it. Salmon bagel was chock filled with Salmon, cream cheese and mixed salad, told it was delicious, mine was a scrummy home made egg and bacon pie and we polished off three caramel almond milk milkshakes. There was a warming buzz of quiet chat throughout the Cafe decorated with so many artefacts, books and bits and bobs. Food, service and shakes simply faultless.

Beautiful display of cakes, sandwiches, bread and pies. I like the lighting in display cases. Lovely inviting atmosphere. I had White chocolate and raspberry muffin, raspberry scone and Lemongrass and ginger tea. Muffin was a bit too sweet to my liking but scone was lovely. Service is good and flowers in front of shop are nice too. Highly recommend it!

I visited Italian Caffee this morning and enjoyed my experience. The entrance was a bit confusing to find as it’s tucked near the mall entrance, but once inside, the place had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a comfortable spot to sit and get some work done, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The coffee was great, and the fruit toast was delicious. We’re looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu next time!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The crispy chicken this time seems to be less as some of the pieces were like stir fry size but still nice. The focaccia was nice as always but would have liked more cheese to the edges. The chips as always were perfect, best chips A bit too noisy for some but it’s a very busy / popular place so that’s expected

On Thursday 19th September 2024. My partner took me out to dinner at Cafe Evviva - Ristorante Italiano at Post Office Entrance Stockland Traralgon after my long drive. At first when we walked in and Heidi was friendly, well mannered when welcoming / greeting us, gave us menus and organised a clean table us to sit down. Sonya took our order One Garlic Focaccia, Pizza Polpette - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, Nonna’s meat balls, salami and provolone cheese and Prosciutto Pizza - Ev olive oil, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, shaved grana padano and fresh rocket and one can of Coke. Sonya cheerfully brought our woodfire pizza out, while Amy kindly brought our drink to the table. However Joe was happily preparing and cooking all the food, woodfire pizzas in the background. Steven took payment from my partner at the end. The food was delicious, expensive, but definitely worth the price. Plenty of left overs for my partner to take to work as well. The shop is clean and workers were excellent. Their shop looks fancy and classy too. Good job to all the amazing team here. You did well :) A+ See you again next time when we’re both in town. Surprisingly high CP! We ordered 2 pasta, 1 seafood in filo pastry, 1 large Italian green salad, 1 drink, something like AUS120, seems no service charge on weekdays. Tastes amazingly good, portion pretty good and large, friendly service and serving us special Italian chilli source to try with the pasta. Serving pretty fast as well and all on the table at the same time. Wanna go try the pizza as well just no room for that.

Dropped in after running some errands for an afternoon snack! The food was prompt & very tasty! Some of the best roast spuds we have had! The menu offered a few vegetarian options that are not just pizza which is a breath of fresh air and appreciated! Thank you for your hospitality!

We dropped in here for lunch on our way to another town. The café is very big with ample seating and was really busy, making it a loud atmosphere. Service was fairly quick, considering how busy they were. The waitress was unable to answer my partner’s question of what was in a Caprese salad. She said she didn’t know, so I answered on her behalf. We ordered a simple lunch of pizza & fries. The Ortolana pizza is all vegetables. It was tasty, but I think the addition of green olives/marinated olives would lift its flavour just that little bit more. Also the base was too thin for my liking. It easily became too soggy. The chips are nice & crispy, but did not come with aioli as stated on the menu. They came with tomato sauce, which I prefer, but would be nice to inform people. There are unisex/ambulant toilets. The one I went in to was spacious & clean.

Joe looked after our association for a private function brilliantly. We had around 55 guests which kept the prices very reasonable per person for canapes, a three course main meal, and dessert. Mains and dessert were served share style which suited the space and table arrangements really well. Joe and his staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, and more than happy to help with any specific requests or requirements. The bar was kept open until 11pm which our guests enjoyed. Joe also kept in touch leading up to the event and was quick to respond to any updates we sent through. The food was very generous - our guests all praised the quality of the Italian food and would happily return for a visit when in the area next time. Thank you to Joe and his team for helping to make our event such a success!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Radius overlooking the ocean through the double height windows (should have brought sunglasses). The food is extremely good and focused on the local area. It's nice to find a good quality restaurant in a rural area and I will go back. However, the service was not great. The wait staff were all helpful and friendly when they appeared but we didn't see them often enough and I found myself looking for them. Highly recommend the haloumi salad for entree.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Lamb ribs just melt in your mouth. Calamari was soft and tender. Steak was juicy and well seasoned. All with an amazing view of the ocean. Service staff were also awesome too.

I had dinner here, and it has simply wonderfull. I ordered the cured snapper, the steak, and the barramundi. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but the taste made up for it. The cured snapper blew my mind, and it paired wonderfully with the Mexican chips on the side. The steak wasn't bad, and the sauce was great. The barramundi was also ok, and the sauce paired wonderfully. The price isn't that bad, but the mains are kinda pricy. The serving sizes were also good for their prices, and the food looks beautiful. Overall, the food was great, and the service was also wonderfull.

Lovely view over looking the ocean. Booked in advance. Food was all delicious! Only the day we were there they have forgotten our mains. When the main dishes came out two of the orders was over done and tasted really charcoal. It was Gnocchi, they pan fry them for too long. So we told the manager and he was kindly apologised. Apart from that we had a great.

We came over Easter and despite a stuff up with our booking with AGFG they accommodated our group of 10. The manager was really apologetic about. Great service and good food with beautiful evening views. Loved my steak and we also ordered a few entrees which were delicious. They also had kids meals. Great for families and those looking for a special night out.

We will not be coming back here. We ordered the pizza and a cheese platter. First off, the crackers were awful (supermarket bought), they served raisin toast on a cheese platter…. 🤯 what the?? Weird!! But we decided to give it a go… never again. The walnuts were weird tasting and soft. The chutney tasted like super sweet tomato sauce. I have to say though, the blue cheese and red wine were lovely. The Brie was basic and again supermarket bought. The pizza was worse than a frozen pizza and I could have made it better at home. It was on a supermarket bought base, wasn’t cooked properly and had jared garlic - not roasted garlic like it was stated on the menu. In saying all that, the service was wonderful and the ambiance was also lovely. I think an overhaul of the menu needs to completed to bring this apparent 2 star restaurant to its actual 4 star rating. $80 wasted here. I’d have preferred to have bought fast food take away and I don’t even eat that in general.

Come on last night and ordered a medium rare steak. Come out dry and over cooked. No seasoning potatoes were dry too, told the waiter but didn’t seem to be too worried. Won’t recommend it. Thanks for taking $68

So incredibly disappointing. Avoid! My partner and I regularly pass through Bairnsdale and thought we’d try Mr D food and coffee. Big mistake - should’ve gone to Jarrod’s Bakery next door as we always do. We waited exactly 58 minutes for two meals (lamb souvlaki and a pie with fries). Once the food arrived (following the 58 minute wait), we asked for cutlery as this was not provided. Needless to say, cutlery didn’t come and so after about 5 minutes, my partner went into the cafe to flag down a waiter. No idea why they don’t either bring it out with the food or have cutlery laid out on table to begin with. We could almost forgive the wait if the food was any good, but it was appalling. How they can call the soggy, pitiful wrap a “lamb souvlaki” is beyond me (please look at the photo). You had to squint to find a morsel of lamb hidden amongst the handful of wet lettuce. The pie wasn’t any better - dry, and a pale, sickly looking colour (clearly needed more time in the oven). Don’t even bother asking for tomato sauce as you’ll be waiting all day.

I stopped here to get a meat pie. I waited around 15 minutes for said pie. It got to the point I asked for a refund as it was taking so long. The pie was disappointing to say the least. $13.25 for a pie is legit Highway robbery when it's mince meat. There was nothing artisan about it. The other food looked dull. The pie was soft at the bottom and if I wasn't starving I would've thrown it out. Would not recommend stopping here on your road trip.

Nice coffee but the focaccia was not worth the $18.00 I paid. I had to wait 30 minutes, and ended up asking where my order was, because there were very few diners and plenty of staff. When I finally got my order, it was dry and lacked filling. It was served with a fork and knife, which I found impossible to cut the focaccia with as it was rock hard! Won’t be back ! Very disappointing!

I first visited this venue years ago and was genuinely impressed. It had character, energy and a product that matched. So naturally when passing through town again, I was curious to see if it had stood the test of time. Unfortunately what greeted us was a shadow of its former self. No warmth, no atmosphere and not a single other customer in sight. We were met with a blunt “Sit down or takeaway?” with no greeting, no smile and an overall lack of professionalism that set the tone. The staff presentation didn’t inspire much confidence either with the less than professional clothing and smell of stale cigarette mixed with body spray . The coffee was not drinkable, and the food followed suit. Flat, lifeless and far from what this place once delivered. A quick glance at the growing number of one star reviews confirms this isn’t an isolated experience. It seems the owners have spread themselves thin across multiple new ventures. My advice? Focus less on expansion and more on restoring the quality and soul that once made this place worth a detour.

I have noticed a decline in the quality of this restaurant during my visit lately. Recently, we went for breakfast and found the limited, one-page menu offered few vegetarian options, leading us to leave after only having coffee. My cappuccino and my companion's flat white tasted bland, lacking the expected flavour; my cappuccino, in particular, lacked chocolate powder. This establishment was once our favourite cafe in Bairnsdale, and I am curious as to why the food and service quality have diminished.

We were looking for breakfast around 8:30 on 10.06.2024 and found Mr D around the town centre, just right at the corner. the 2 guys there, one was busy making coffee with a queue outside the window on the side of the shop, while the other just "hello, grab a seat" friendlily as we walked in, and busy serving the other customers. We ordered our foods and coffee, and arrived sooner than we expected, though they were certainly busy. The coffee was perfect, but on the lighter side - but that's individual's taste, not meant to say the coffee was bad, in fact very nice coffee. Egg Benny was nicely done with runny yolk much to my liking, with a balancing sauce and ham. It was a satisfying breakfast. Sitting was comfortable, clean and bright ambiance, and easy parking.

Been here twice while passing through. Great little place! The added advantage is the divided road, with parking on both sides each way. We have been able to park near Mr D with our caeavan, both times.

Stopped in on our way through for lunch. Pepper pie and sandwiches were delicious! But it was the service from the two young gents that made it great! Positive, polite, attentive with some good old fashioned banter! Can’t get much better than that!

The pies looked amazing so I bought a steak and mushroom pie for $7.00. What a mistake, it wasn't steak. It was finely ground beef and not much of it and the mushroom was straight from a can as it had the clear brown sauce you find in canned mushroom. It was one of the worst pies I have tried, as we were driving I threw over half of it out for the wildlife. Never again but looking at the reviews, it seems so many are easily pleased with poor food. They probably think McDonald's is delicious.

Perfect place to stop. Lots of nearby parking, plenty of seating indoors and out. Pepper steak pie was the right amount of spicy, great pastry held together well. Sausage roll was flavoursome good combo of meat and veg. Pineapple cream was a delight sweet light creamy goodness. Staff were very friendly

Good pies, all the cakes, biscuits and slices looked amazing (sadly I did not consume any) and the coffee was decent. Nice outdoor seating as well. All in all a lovely classic example of a country bakery.

they make coffee and they have pies at standardised prices which is more than apt considering the location, good service and kind. If your stuck alone on your birthday just whistle and one the local currawongs will come and help you eat your excellent lemon birthday cake.

I have been coming to this bakery for 15 years. Very disappointed with the new pies. Originally they were square pies. The top of the pie looks like a regular size round pie but the foil plate base that holds the meat is very small. They use to have majority thick chunks of meat but now its a gravy with very little blended meat. The pastry tastes good but for $8.10 i will pass the next time i come through. Coffee is great though

Have stopped in here for breaky and lunch several times when in Traralgon and the crew absolutely nail it every time. Food is always delicious (highly recommend the Food Co. breakfast board which takes away the hot breaky cold breaky sweet/savoury conundrum), coffee is spot on every time (had the Magic today and will treat myself every time I'm nearby now) and the staff are honestly the best in the business⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A treat to sit out on the deck in the middle of winter with the sun shining and warmth from the combo of sun and overhead heaters. Thanks again to the magnificent team at Food Co, looking forward to stopping in again soon

We came here because the google search said they had vegan options. They don't. They have toast and sides. We ordered sourdough and pumpkin sourdough. Asked for nothing on the toast. We ordered smashed avocado and mushrooms and hash browns. The mushrooms were horrible. They're straight out of a can. First time I've been served canned mushrooms at a Cafe. The pumpkin sourdough was soaked in what I assume was oil. The hash browns were good and the smashed avocado with red onion was delicious, but certainly none of it worth what we paid. If you're vegan and looking for a yummy breakfast, I would not recommend this place. All this beings said, the staff were lovely, friendly and approachable. Shame the food wasn't up to the level of service that they provided.

I really wanted to like this place more. Modern looking, many options to be seated, indoor, outdoor, on their deck, with your dog or without, anything is possible. Good little takeaway food section and somewhat reasonable prices. Got heaps of takeaway coffees from here, which were all on point and delicious. So I was aching to stay at least once and have some food. Had the big breakfast which was, well not really that big. 1 piece of sourdough, 2 eggs, 2 half rashers of bacon, one sausage, some baked beans, a hash, half a tomato and a couple of mushrooms. Everything gets layered onto the bread, which ends up soggy, cause all the grease and sauce are soaking through it. The homemade beans loose all their flavour because the sauce is now on the bread, which makes the beans dry and bland. The massive sausage was rather dry and my bacon was on the rather darker, crispier side. The hash is frozen too and overall it was just a disappointing meal. Unfortunately it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Big breakfasts aren’t for looks and micro herbs I think, they are about size and filling you up. 2 pieces of toast, kept separate to hold the crunch, separate beans with sauce for the flavour, 2 proper pieces of bacon and a whole tomato and some more mushrooms will not break the budget. Maybe some black pudding, hollandaise or even a third egg, that’s what makes a big breakkie, not the fancy garnish in my opinion.

Such a lovely spot! Food Co Traralgon is an absolute gem. The coffee was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We were warmly greeted before we even reached the door, then seated and served so quickly – but never felt rushed. Everything about the experience was smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great coffee, and genuinely amazing service!

The muffins are absolutely INSANE!!! I call in here weekly for these muffins alone & yet to try a flavour I don’t like! They have a new flavour each day & they are always 10/10. I wish I could deliver these to Melbourne as I don’t know what I’m going to do when my job here finishes!! Honestly hats off to the baker, they are incredibly talented 👏🏻

Nice little cafe on the main highway. My chorizo scrambled eggs were a bit rubbery and ordinary, unfortunately, and on soft unsuitable bread. The bacon side was good though. On the plus side they make a nice croque monsieur and the coffee was really good. Service was lovely throughout. Conclusion overall: a bare pass.

Very lovely staff and service, I had the delight of a gluten-free, dairy-free, sausage roll. You would not have guessed given how crispy the pastry and juicy and flavoursome the sausage...

Nice breakfast. And fantastic coffee. Service was friendly. We were able to substitute avocado for toast without cost make a grain free breakfast. The home made pies are really really good according to my daughter. They also do all day breakfast and all day lunch. Which includes the kids meal which is good value. The food is cooked quickly. The produce used must be of a good quality. The avocado is yummy and the eggs taste rich. The exposed brick interior is a great feature and inside is cozy. The atmosphere is light and not too noisy. The side opens up into an adjacent book store. At the rear there is a courtyard with garden for addition outdoor dining. The toilets aren't great but they are functional and clean.

I ordered the Vego big breakfast. Thumbs up ! It was really nice. The coffe was outstanding as well. The service was quick and the staff were nice. It doesn't look like much from the street but we'll worth the visit.

Ordered breakfast on a public holiday. 25% surcharge but overall price still seemed reasonable, $50 for 2 ppl inc coffee and bottled juice. Coffee was fine but food was disappointing. Can make better at home. Looked like sliced supermarket ham on Eggs Benedict, they swapped out the Muffin for undercooked plain bread toast. Poached eggs over cooked. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry. Decor is old and tired. Probably wouldn’t return. Havent been here for 3 years or so, it’s changed unfortunately.

🐾☕ A Paw-sitive Brunch Surprise at Fozigobble Café 🐶🌿 Stopped by the charming Fozigobble Café in Yarragon VIC, and what a gem it turned out to be! ✨ I had the most satisfying Eggs Benedict — perfectly poached eggs over wholesome bread with rich, velvety hollandaise. The frittata was packed with flavour and felt like a hug in every bite. And don’t even get me started on the milkshake — creamy, nostalgic, and just the pick-me-up I needed. But what truly won my heart? 🖼️ A whole wall filled with dog portraits! 😍 It’s a place that truly celebrates our furry friends, and the pet-friendly garden courtyard made it even better. Could’ve stayed there all afternoon just soaking in the laid-back vibes. If you’re ever driving through Gippsland, this café is a must. Good food, great coffee, and a whole lot of love for pets 💛🐾

For the very first time i visited this cafe today and the food was wow superb. The muffin was a lot better than at other cafes in the area. the sausage roll was surely home made and the tomato relish well it took me a while to eat it on the sausage roll ,it was home made . beats bbq sauce any day. My wife and i will travel that 20 minutes to savour this quality food a lot more frequently.

We’re on a road trip and looked for somewhere to pause and to have lunch. Fozziegobble came up on Google maps and has not disappointed. It’s like a little oasis. We are eating lunch, which is delish, in the quaint garden and we feel refuelled. Thanks for having us. It’s been our pleasure.

We stopped here for breakfast before heading to Mt Worth for a bushwalk. I enjoyed a good brekky and a well made (and hot!) coffee. I grabbed a delicious choc chip cheesecake biscuit to have after the walk. Lovely, quick service, and reasonably priced. The township is lovely and we enjoyed a quick browse through other local shops before heading off.

Fantastic service! The owner is really friendly and very accommodating to different dietary needs. Coffee is fantastic (had latte with oat milk) and the vegan (sausage) roll with homemade tomato relish is to die for! My only "negative" feedback is that my dish needed more tomato relish! Yes, it's that yummy! No, I didn't ask for more, though I'm sure if I asked, they will give me more 😁 I'm looking forward to trying the other vegan dishes while staying in the area.

Good coffee and great eggs and bacon. Our eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was delicious. The slice of sourdough was nicely toasted and had the texture of a fresh loaf. We also tried a caramel slice and citrus tart on our way out. Both were great, but the caramel slice was particularly delicious.

Badger Benny (pork belly, eggs with mustard bernaise sause) spectacular. Wife had smashed arvo. Two mug cappo coffees, total $64. Awesome breakfast. We will be back.

Stopped by for hot chocolates and a red candy coffee (was a pleasant change from the standard coffee). Had caramel slice and a berry muffin. Fresh and yummy. Service was excellent. Watched meals coming out and they looked incredible. certainly would return for a meal. Atmosphere was lovely, cosy with wood fire going. Waitress was bright, bubbly, engaging made it an enjoyable experience.

What a great little place! Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and the Badger Benny was delicious. Would never have thought the Pork Belly would have worked as well as it did. And came with more Pork than some main meals you can get. Would highly recommend if your passing through at breakfast. Thank you for the fantastic dining experience! Fast and friendly service. They had a lovely fire going on a cold day. Tables not crowded. We went for lunch. I had prawn gnocci and my friend roast pork salad. Both meals were excellent. Highly recommend.

Great cafe in Stratford - big outdoor area for dogs and kids with beautiful coffee & food

This Cafe is a complete surprise . . . Petite from the outside, but don't be fooled it is spacious inside and has a large undercovet deck out the back. Food is sublime - Service level is high - and it exudes a warm fuzzy home feeling. Turn up, and you won't be disappointed . . . and pricing is sensational for the quality of food & drinks. It's actually a SIX STAR VENUE !!

Unfortunately ordering was a very unpleasant experience. I felt scolded that I read the menu inaccurately, staff unwilling to work with me, spoken to rudely. I didn’t want to eat here by the end of our interaction but thought I would give them the benefit of doubt and try. I was over charged for this burger. $20. It tasted ok. The redeeming factor was that it wasn’t horrible. Overall very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

We had bacon and egg rolls and they were great. Coffee was good too. They have a range of food available to take away including prepared meals. Ample seating and friendly. It’s a good food stop :)

In this day and age of caring for the environment, it is utterly unacceptable to be entirely “take away only”… ESPECIALLY not supporting people who want to use their own reusable keep cups!!! Atrocious, antiquated attitude. Absolutely not getting a cent of my money!

Food was ok, coffee was ok. Service not ok. As it is the only Cafe it seems they feel they just have to open the door, and that’s it. The food was ok, it could have been a lot better. Not sure if they bring the food out to you, but after waiting we went in and it was waiting-so may have been hot, but the fact they don’t bring the food out, or at least let you know it’s ready and waiting, i don’t know. I’d suggest going round the corner to the Bakery, or try Sundayys.

5 star just for that delicious veggie burger 🍔 Chicken wrap was good, coffee ok. Seating was nice. For the small town called Mallacota, this is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy the lazy day.

Very stylish but cosy vintage themed restaurant. Beautiful sitting arrangements both indoors and outdoors. Delicious food that comes in very generous portion sizes. Soup of the day is excellent, so as the sandwiches and focaccias. Service is excellent too. Would highly recommend.

We stopped by for a spot of tea and scones on a weekday and had a wonderful time! The proprietress was very genuine and warm, the scones and jam were heavenly, and Snowpea (her cat) came by for pets. Would love to come back again!

A delightful country-charm teahouse, providing a convenient and welcoming rest along a trip to East Gippsland. Food, so delicious and caringly prepared, just as if it was coming from Grandma's kitchen and she was expecting you to arrive. This beautiful venue offers inside seating and glorious outside tables under the shade of the trees and cottage garden.

We visited the Tea room in summer for high tea. Everything was beautifully made, beautifully presented, and most importantly, it was all delicious! I booked using Google which was SO easy, and the response to confirm the booking was very quick. I thoroughly recommend everything in the High Tea. It is perfect for small groups or large. Even though the High Tea was generous and filling, their cakes looked so good and I got a hedgehog to take away for later... it was SO good, with a hint of walnut and topped with thick chocolate ganache! The Tea Room is absolutely recommended. It is easy to book using Google, easy to park on the wide, old town streets, and completely delightful way to spend an afternoon with family and friends.

It’s a good stopover in our drive from Ivanhoe to Lakes Entrance. Enjoyed our coffee and tea break in this lovely place.

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. The decor is typical Tea room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were still serving even though we arrived after 2pm. The food good and milkshakes highly recommended. Plenty of car parking on the street. Would happily return.

The most wonderful and delightful experience. The lady owner/operator is amazing. Makes everything from scratch and super fresh and super cheap. Being Greek my wife and I are fussy. Its beef burger was truly delicious. So does the ice choco. It made our lunch meaningful when we were passing this city of Leongatha on our way to Wislon Promontory Natural Park.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and piping hot. We ordered the omelette and eggs hollandaise. Bothe we're served on sourdough bread and the omelette came with a delicious tomato relish. Our team came in a pot and we ordered extra hot water. We will definitely visit again to try the coffee which comes highly recommended

Stopped by en route from rail trail. Chairs were being stacked at 2.20pm so we just had a coffee. Lots of breakfast items and cakes on offer. Coffee was reasonably priced and robust taste.

Everytime I was in leongatha I would pop into this cafe and order my favorite salad bowl. The food here was always fresh, quality and tasty. I’m not sure if it was a once off or if something has changed in the kitchen but I experienced one of the worst paid for meals of my life. Right away I knew my meal wasn’t going to be up to standard - for starters it arrived in a plastic throw away container but the real kicker was the food - it seemed like it was made the night before, and obviously just been taken out of the fridge and delivered to my table. Everything was old and stale and the ingredients were not the usual standard. I don’t usually write up reviews like this but my stomach was in knots when I got home. It was just an awful experience and I regret eating it - I should have returned the meal for a refund but I was so hungry after looking forward to my fav dish in Leongatha. So disappointing- won’t be eating here again.

Stayed the night and was very happy that the restaurant was opened. The food was amazing and everyone I was with enjoyed their meals. They are also open for breakfast but have not tried it yet. Definitely worth a try

Thank you for the most delicious meal. The curries we had were full of flavour and incredibly tasty- the yummiest curries I’ve eaten in a long time and presented very well with rice, salad and naan. The meal was very reasonably priced and service impeccable. We will definitely return!

Amazing food and service. Our meals were cooked fresh from scratch with all fresh vegetables and with so much passion. One of the best meals we have eaten in Australia.

The entire property was situated in stunning natural surroundings, a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, as well as a lovely lodge to stay and an-around a fantastic atmosphere in foster town.

Great little quick stop for pastries, sandwiches, and slices/cakes. We had a steak, bacon and cheese pie, sausage roll, Turkish salami roll, French vanilla slice, and a hedgehog slice. Everything was delicious. Outside seating so our puppy could sit with us.

Excellent Vanilla Slice & tasty Beef Curry Pie. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat outside with the shade of a tree whilst having lunch, very pleasant.

HUGE Disappointment, purchased several pies, beef burgundy, pepper steak, curry and all of them contained grisly, fatty meat that was inedible and unpleasant, majority of the pies were spat out. Have visited this bakery many time and never had such an awful experience, probably won't come back sadly

Excellent experience. It looked like a normal bakery from outside but far more than regular bakery. It served many kind of pies, breads, cakes, subs, etc. Coffee was good as well. Plus enthusiastic staffs delighted me in the morning.

We just had the most wonderful experience! The coffee was excellent and everything tasted so fresh. There were five of us, so we managed to try nearly the entire menu — and everyone was genuinely impressed with their choices. The display cabinet was filled with tempting cakes, slices, and honestly one of the best banana breads I’ve ever had (easily in my top three!). The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a really happy energy. The staff were not only friendly but you could also feel their genuine passion for hospitality. I would highly recommend visiting — it’s an experience worth having!

I understand it’s a long weekend, and a Saturday morning, but a 27 min wait for a takeaway coffee is not really acceptable. Several customers who ordered after me got their coffees a lot quicker. No “sorry about the wait” either. The coffee is good, but not worth standing around that long for. Wish I could say this was a one time thing but it’s happened a few times now. Best to go elsewhere when it’s busy.

Not particularly friendly, and they've stopped their loyalty cards... Was one coffee away from getting a free coffee. Bit poor, considering I have already supported this business and they won't acknowledge their own loyalty program. Shouldn't be called 'local' if they aren't giving back to the locals supporting them... Pretty disappointed with the overall customer service

Always lovely fresh food and nice coffee. Unfortunately I find their prices have always been on the higher side though. Last week I ordered the raw caramel slice. The slice was really lovely but they all looked like a decent size pieces in the cake display cabinet by when I took it out side it was 1/4 of what I expected. The slice was approx 3cm x 5cm for $5.

Delicious food and smoothies! Can recommend the blueberry smoothie and the smoothie bowl with granola and fresh cut fruit. Lovely staff too. Nice shops and a public toilet nearby. A good little stop.

Stopped here on our way home from Melbourne and were very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the brisket burger, portion sizes were huge and taste was delicious. Also the prices were very reasonable and didn’t have to wait long after we’d ordered even though there were a few others here and in front of us. Also got to try the Magic coffee which was a nice addition to breakfast.

We went for breakfast this morning, but unfortunately, they didn’t have matcha, which was a bit disappointing. The prices were on the higher side, so it felt a little expensive for what was offered. The bathroom was a bit dirty. Overall, an okay experience but could be improved with more variety and better pricing.

Loved this place so much that I've dined in this cafe twice for my 3-day inspection in the area HAHA. The pan fried catch was amazing and the chili prawn scrambled eggs was a great way to start the day! Would definitely go again when I'm in Bairnsdale.

Best Cafe in town! ❤ The staff are always so welcoming, and Abby always remembers my order and is so friendly. She makes the best chai lattes ever. Their chilli scramble is unbeatable, 10/10 everytime. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are consistently amazing. Service is always spot-on, and the owner Pat has a great sense of humour. We sat in the sun in the courtyard with our golden retriever and they were very accommodating- the lady even brought out some cheese for Teddy to nibble on! Very kind. Food and coffee excellent.

This really is a lovely cafe with such friendly staff. Our breakfasts were delicious and the presentation was great. Coffees, hot chocolates also very good. In fact, we enjoyed Alma’s so much we went back again next morning before our drive home. Highly recommend if you are in Paynesville.

Dropped in for coffee, ended up with ordering some Scones as well - delicious and the coffee is first class too. Great service and friendly. Even bought some dog treats to the outdoor table we were at for our 4 legged friend. Highly recommended.

This is the cafe that doesn’t sell coffee! We came by one evening looking for coffee and were politely told they didn’t serve coffee at that time of day. There were perhaps 8 people dining at the time! They suggested Pier 70 cafe/bar/restaurant across the road. So that’s where we went, and then went there for dinner the following three evenings. All-up Almas lost $500 of our money as well as our good will and recommendations - which is probably why only 8 people were dining with them in the peak of the holiday season!

Went there today.Lady behind counter extremely rude..pathetic menu for sit down meal. Blamed covid.. what a crock.. all other restaurants seem to have no trouble. Left without buying anything. Went to another eatery in town. Totally different experience. Won't be going there again. We were made to feel a nuisance.

Very dissatisfied and confused by service. I logged in with my double vaccinated status and showed the girl serving. She seemed quite disinterested..... andbthen a few minutes later asked to see photographic evidence of identity, which l did via my driver's licence. She then insisted on seeing my wife's photographic evidence of identity, in addition to her double vax status. Unfortunately my wife had left her driver's licence in the car and we were told that we could not be served because THAT WAS THE RULE. Seemed very odd because no one has asked to see anything other than our identity via the double vax status.. Just what is the rule?

Chai latte was delicious however I am allergic to capsicum and I ordered the pulled pork burger and for some reason it had capsicum on it despite the menu not mentioning it, the bizarre thing was that my partner also ordered the same burger and his didn't have capsicum?!?! We just swapped the burgers but im still quite displeased that it even happened
