The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Tel Aviv District

Funky kosher dairy menu. Not the usual boring fare. Variety of breakfast options through the day. I enjoyed my quesadillas. My wife had a solid smoked salmon bagel. Beverages were imaginative and great for summer. My espresso tonic was very good. Great vibe. Busy. Sits on the route for the light rail which meant that it was noisy.

Loved the place, very accommodating staff and delicious kosher food. I had their special of the week: eggs on beer bread with a beet spread and cabbage topping. The vibe is inclusive and the menu is super original. Definitely will be heading back! Recommend going before 11am bc it got packed after like 11:30.

Possibly the worst coffee I’ve had in my life. At first I was disappointed by the small portion. But after my first sip I was glad that I didn’t receive more of this sub par beverage. It was terribly bitter and sour. I went with a good friend and she described her coffee as “literally just trash.” As far as food is concerned, the menu is quite small, which could be seen as a good thing. I ordered the egg and cheese bagel which was fine. Nothing incredible and nothing bad. It was a very small portion with only a single egg and toppings that slide all over the place. I also noticed that most of the tables around me received their orders wrong and received excuses from the wait staff. To summarize, I left Cafe Xoho (what is that name?) rather disappointed and disturbed. It certainly is a very busy and trendy establishment but I don’t understand how my fellow restaurant goers enjoyed their experience. While they drank the liquid that drips out of Tel Aviv air conditioner units that Cafe Xoho is selling off as Lattes and Espresso, I asked my table mate how it is that everyone else seems to be relatively enjoying their meals? At the table next to me, a young American frat type boy commented that it was the best bagel he ever ate. What? Poor boy, are you ok? Are you being starved? Have you being living on the diet of a squirrel or small bird, seeds and nuts? Blink twice if you need help. Of course I understood everything when I saw his hat, a Boston Red Sox SnapBack. Spare his soul for he know not of the might of the pinstripes of our great Yankees, hailing from the new city of York at the head of the Hudson! In short, I would not recommend.

The staff here clearly don’t care about their customers. I placed an order and specifically asked to remove a few items, but they ignored my request. When I complained, they replaced it — with the exact same mistake. After complaining again, nothing changed. On top of that, they automatically added a tip, as if we’re in the U.S. In Israel, tipping is up to the customer — and trust me, this place doesn’t deserve a single shekel with such poor service. What a shame. If you’re visiting Israel or just looking for a café, avoid this location at all costs. There are plenty of better places nearby that actually respect their customers. Also, the prices here are outrageously high compared to other cafés in the area.

Every morning in Tel Aviv, my wife and I follow the same ritual: coffee at Xoho, on Ben Yehuda Street. Our anchor point, our little piece of order in the chaos. Xoho has two zones — smoking and non-smoking. I smoke, so our choice is obvious. This morning, three empty tables. One in part sun with a single chair; two in the shade, still cluttered with empty cups and crumbs. No one around — just the remains of other people’s breakfasts. As usual, I sit at one of the shaded tables and wait (don’t ask, just wait) for someone to clear it. A waitress approaches. She tells me the table hasn’t been cleaned yet and suggests — no, politely orders — me to sit at the sunny table instead. “I’d rather stay here,” I say. “I can wait. Take your time.” “It’s not a suggestion,” she says. “I demand.” Fine. I get up, waiting for her to clear it. She starts moving around, wiping every table except mine — a perfect little ballet of passive aggression. Then another waitress passes by. I ask, “Excuse me, may I sit here?” “Of course!” she says, smiling, and immediately clears the table for me. I sit down, relieved. Naturally, the first waitress reappears. “See the difference between you and your colleague?” I tell her. “She hurried to help me. You’ve been rude.” She calls me ridiculous. I tell her she’s been horrible. The tone rises a bit, but nothing dramatic. Then the manager appears, serious and defensive. “You can’t speak to my staff like that,” he says. I explain what happened. He doesn’t care. He demands that I apologize. “No,” I reply. “If anyone should apologize, it’s her.” He asks me to leave. Which I do — calmly. If I were him, I’d probably have done the same, out of principle. Still, I can’t help thinking that waitress chose the wrong job. One day, Xoho will figure it out. Pity — it used to be my favorite café.

Amazing breakfast place! Vibrant, lots of people, and music is playing! The staff is attentive ❤️ Food was great as well, fantastic design of the menu - healthy and classical options with an original take on them. Pancakes, granola, bagels! Oat and almond-rice milk available, which is fantastic for us :))

Delicious place for a gluten free, vegetarian or dairy free options. The place is quiet and nice with a self service concept. You order in the front counter and you pick up in the bar. All of their options are delicious and healthy from main courses to beverages. Pick from different milk alternatives and be clear if you want the GF or totally vegan options. Recommended for breakfast at anytime. I had pancakes and bagels at 3 pm.

I ate there in several occasions as well as ordered take away to work. There wasn't one time that the food felt fresh, and all in all they don't match the standard of other restaurants (especially vegan ones) in Tel Aviv :/ It's a shame because the dishes sound great, but in reality what u get is kinda disappointing.

This is a great vegan restaurant with relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious service. It has a small dining room, an enclosed patio and an outdoors one. There are 5 stairs leading to the front door. Service was very accommodating. We requested a table by the window (that was not available when we arrived) and were moved once o e became available. The various dishes were of high quality, tasted great and were visually attractive. No customer was hurried to leave after their meal even when they were busy. A very satisfying and enjoyable meal. They also have shelving with various foods for takeout (see photos).

On a short visit to Israel, my daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Anastasia. Food was excellent, service was very friendly and prices were comparable to most other vegan restaurants we visited during this trip. They were very busy at 10pm and we had to wait a while for a table, reservations are advised. Highly recommended.

So far, my favourite vegan restaurant. It’s located in a main area. The menu is completely vegan and also offers gluten free options. They have quite a large variety of delicious food. The soba salad is especially good. The dishes are a bit overpriced, but not exceptional compared to other restaurants in Tel Aviv.

Amazing food, vegan done right, fresh ingredients cooked perfectly, with just the right balance of flavors. They have a vegan cheese plate that's just perfect. And a vegan cheese cake that is simply one of the best cheese cakes I've ever eaten, vegan or not... So I highly recommend this place, also the waters are lovely, and were very helpful with suggestions on what to pick. 🧀 🍰

If you are looking for great seafood and excellent seaview, this is the place to come. The restaurant is full almost all the time and reserving a table in advance is highly recommended. The variety of seafood dishes are impressive and delicious. We have been here multiple times and the service remains efficient and friendly.

It’s not a tourist trap, believe me. I live here, but look like tourist🥹.. just surprised to find out this wonderful restaurant, located on the beach, and if you’ll sit on the deck terrace at the evening, you will enjoy the only one view - the sea 🌊 accomplished with tasty meal. As you can see, we ordered a seafood plates to share with aperol cocktails, it was delicious. The staff are very kind. (Yes, it’s not cheap. But nothing cheap in this country..).

We had a great experience in Manta Ray. The food was tasty, the service was nice and the view was incredible. We made reservation in advance and it was around sunset time and with the amazing food and wine, it turned into an unforgettable memory. All the seafoods were very fresh and nicely cooked. The starters were rich in option and flavor. I definitely suggest this place for a nice seafood experience in the city.

Manta Ray has given me some of the best gatherings with friends and family I’ve ever had in Tel Aviv. There’s something about the combination of the sea breeze, the golden sunset, and the incredible food that opens our hearts and grounds us in the moment 🫶🏼

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Tel Aviv. A wonderful morning starts by sitting outside and looking at the sea. Then breakfast comes with lots of different small plates and fantastic breads. Then coffee comes and it is wonderful. Be sure to call and reserve a seat because this place is usually booked solid. Tell them you want to sit outside if the weather is good.

Excellent restaurant on Alma beach and in walking distance from most of the larger hotels. The staff are friendly and the food it very tasty. We were able to get in for dinner without a reservation as long as we were able to eat and pay within 1.5 hours - no problem for us.

The seafood here was amazing! We ordered the sharing seafood dish which was a lot of food to share between two people - crabs, prawns, calamari, mussels, grilled pineapple and sweet potatoes, and some risotto as well at the bottom. Coconut milk in the sauce makes it a touch of Thai food. Service here was also super nice; the waiters were super helpful and friendly.

This is a review of the restaurant and not the hotel. The restaurant had an elegant though cozy atmosphere. The hamburger was excellent and the dessert too.

Amazing place! The atmosphere perfectly matched the food. The flavors were spot on and delicious. Highly recommend the tortellini, the goose breast, and the crêpe Suzette. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The setting was amazing. Beautifully restored historic building. The service was a let down as it was very pushy! The chap was very nice but kept offering and ordering for us (desserts) we were not yet sure about. More listening to us would have been great. Food was nice but nothing special compared with other amazing places in TelAviv and far too expensive which imo it justified

First for the bad: There's no place for a car or cab to stop next to it, its in the middle of the street and while we disembarked we stopped the whole street traffic. The place itself was nice, elegant but not very elevated design. The air condition was bad, I was sweating buckets. We got a sit in a well lit corner. We came early, after an hour or so the restaurant was full to the brim and very very loud, so loud we couldn't hear each other while talking. Service was great. I was with 2 elderly women(one blind the other couldn't almost walk using a cane, and the staff helped us with them and also helped us get to the cab when we left. As of the food it was all served in beautiful arrangements ,even the bread and butter served in the start were special, butter on a cold black ivory stone slab and the bread was hot in a form of mini baguettes. I ordered the foie gras ,which was great though I've never been in a restaurant where foie gras, wasn't great... my partners ate calamari ,which was cooked well, shrimps were ok as well, though the salad they were served with was full with coriander which wasn't agreeable with the diner and my mom had asparagus with whipped cheese, which she said was great, only the asparagus wasn't pealed so she had to spit the cover each steam she ate.. Main courses my partner ate calamari again, this one was even better than the first one and the first Calamari dish in my life I would have personally order and enjoy. I had a pork chop with bacon and cheese.it was nothing special but was cooked well, and the sweet sauce complimented it well.it was served with mash potato which were whipped with butter and tasted heavenly. my mom had fish with sides, it wasn't something to call home about. Just decent. Our friend ate Fillet stake which was amazing. This in my eyes was one of the best dishes of the day.it came with something that was made of pepper and potato's ,it was actually unpleasant everyone agreed on that. For desert I hate chocolate mousse, with whipped cream, again nothing special it was made well, and server in silver dining wear making it feel a bit fancy and special. My mom and her friend ate Crêpes Suzette which again was a decent dessert, nothing special. We went out with 1064 shekel for the bill(which is very cheap for a fine dining restaurant ,than again it had many faults so the bill reflected my experience well and thus it was agreeable) I had also a beer which was ok, from bottle they don't have Draught beer.

We loved everything about this hotel: its style, charm, attention to detail, and atmosphere. The room was beautiful, and the whole experience felt truly boutique. Easily one of the best locations in Tel Aviv..

5 stars restaurant 🌟 One of the best restaurants in Tel Aviv! All of the food was fantastic (starters, mains, desserts and drinks), great service and the place is beautiful and elegant.

As usual, this is probably one of the top 3 eateries in all of Israel. The food is not anything new or groundbreaking but is being made to abseloute perfection. The staff is incredible and we actually sat in the new garden area (which was opened due to covid) and they nailed it. It is well lit, with a lot of plants and fans. One con to this, Israelis love to smoke when sitting outside, so don't be afraid to ask the waiter to ask for them to stop (it is still illegal). Overall, near perfection experience and a must have in Tel Aviv

Genuinely one of the very best meals of my life. One of those meals you come away from not thinking "I'll try that" but with no comprehension of how they did that with that. The mixture of seafood and meat and generally things that should not all be on one plate was genius. But, despite all of the contrasts there remained a consistent theme throughout the food and focus on ingredients. At no point could you be confused about what you were eating, only how they'd managed it. Perfectly matched by excellent service from our waiter, Elad who clearly genuinely cared about the food and our enjoyment of it. Excellent value for money. I can't recommend this highly enough.

The food is fresh and testy, presented nicely, service is attentive, breads are nice. If considering the food on a chef level category we felt that it didn’t was up to par considering to the price… so was fairly standard dishes. Enjoyable though I can’t say we will return.

-Some of the most interesting and tasty food I've gad so far. Not always done perfectly though -Service is impeccable. We were constantly given attention. We were also given bread refills and some small servings to taste -Rather pricey. Can be mitigated by eating there at noon the "business" dishes Update: Having been a guest at the hotel above the restaurant I can add they serve the best breakfast in Tel Aviv. Exquisite!

Amazing food! Amazing wine selection! Amazing staff! Amazing ambience. Mediocre desserts. We literally ordered most of the menu and the whole dessert menu. The food itself was amazing. Well balanced, perfectly cooked. The desserts were really disappointing and not interesting. But overall, since everything els was so good. I’ll give it a 5.

Mashya is a fantastic place. When you arrive, you’re greeted with a beautiful stone facade welcoming smokers to leave the dining area free of ash trays and the like. Entering into the atrium, there is a sense of spaciousness, a luxury unattended to by Israel’s busy eateries. The place feels special and in some sub-conscious way, this makes the evening feel special. Israel bears a restaurant culture of its own, and here it’s customary for the staff to treat you as a friend. Sometimes this comes at the expense of actual service, but I prefer familiarity to stuffiness. Mashya’s team stands apart from the crowd. They manage to balance familiarity with a far more aloof quality in this scene: professionalism. Here, service coming from a “friend” with a side of a chaser doesn’t mean that you’re waiting fifteen minutes for someone to take an order. The food comes out at the right time, not while you’re eating your previous course and never after you’ve had to remind them of your order. Perhaps this standard is too low, but in a country which cherishes the absolutely mediocre “Shila” as fine dining, this standard feels appropriate. The food leaves little to be desired. The tasting menu is a true tasting, with at minimum 8 different bites, and a proper sequence of vegetables, raw fish, raw meat, bread, cooked fish, cooked meat, and sweets. Mashya takes the classic approach and mates it to a french-fusion menu that holds local sourcing in high regard. The dishes aren’t as adventurous as those in some of the country’s other leading restaurants (perhaps those by Yossi Shitrit or Avi Comforti), but they certainly match or surpass the creativity on display in the popular Machane Yehuda, the celebrity Jaffa Tel Aviv or the highly rated Animar. Where Mashya really shines is in the sauce. Beef tartares and sashimis are wonderfully fresh, but they could’ve remained nothing special, were it not for the phenomenal sauces. The execution matches the ambition and every dish is a success, a quality patrons long for in any restaurant run by the legendary comedian Eyal Shani. Overall, this is a superb spot for an upscale dinner, with a wonderful tasting of small plates that makes special occasions feel truly special. An easy 5/5.

A great restaurant and even more so, a great experience! The service was perfect, the wine was very good and the food was incredible! The design and the overall atmosphere were also great! The portions aren’t too big and it is really expensive (definitely one of the most expensive restaurants in Israel), but if you are looking for a very good dinner and a perfect experience, this is the place for you!

Nice restaurant staff very attentive our waiter im going to say his name was Ben not sure how to spell his real name but starts with Ben was a great guy and very helpful was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested some great dishes we would definitely recommend the appetiser plate but all the dishes we had we couldn't fault them The sommelier was very good on recommendations and they have a good list of wines we stuck to local wines they were very good Its not cheap but what good restaurants are this is probably one of a few restaurants we will return to on our next visit to Israel thank you team Mashya

We came in for classic American pancakes, Cesar salad and apple pie. The pancake wasn’t fresh, wasn’t prepared on the spot - tho we waited for like 10 minutes. The lettuce in the Cesar wasn’t fresh either. Service was great, pastries were awesome. I’ve had better experiences there.

Amazing food, huge menu, unfortunately I've never visited but ordered home many many times, always perfect and every time again I have to struggle to not order half of the menu because the dishes are so good. If I had endless money - this is the restaurant I would open. Please continue being great exactly like it is now and expand to everywhere!

One of my favorite cafes in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is one of the best too find in town and so consistent. One of the best coffees that can be found. Desserts are a hit or miss but the food is excellent!

What a great place in the heart of Tel-Aviv!! You can sit outside and do some people watching, or inside to escape the heat, or in the back patio if you want to smoke after your meal. Great and friendly staff, that was quick and not pushy. The bagels looked so good, so I had to try it and ordered a roast beef bagel. Slices of beef, slaw and a spicy mustard, on a bagel. Great sandwich! Could use some more beef, but the flavor combo, which is not new, was done correctly and it was delicious. Also had a Nola breakfast. Two eggs, salad, hash browns, cream cheese, avocado, and a bagel. The portion was generous and everything was good. Except for the hash brown. It was probably made in a large batch and than they cut and reheat the portion on a griddle. At least that's how it tastes. It was too dense and didn't have those classic pointy potato ends that crisp up when you fry it. I also got a Nola cocktail, with OJ, whiskey and honey. It was pretty good. Definitely a nice change from the classic mimosa or bloody Mary for breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back here for brunch, or lunch, or anytime of the day.

We really liked the atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, fast and professional. The food is extremely good, and you should definitely have a look at their patisserie before you blindly order something. .. For us this place was a wonderful start into the day.

When I think about a good breakfast in Tel Aviv, Nola is always the first option! The quality of the food is amazing, everything is always fresh, their coffee is super delicious and desserts are definitely a must try! The service is quick even though the place is almost always packed. Love this place! ❤️

Truly well done American style breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits! The bacon is actually well cooked and crispy. My wife had the hashbrowns which were also tasty but not exactly what I would expect. The desserts are the real reason to come to NOLA. We had the mud pie which was absolutely amazing.

Cute little café near Carmel market. A little crowded on the outside on Fridays and plus there’s space to seat inside of one wants to (it is more popular however to wear outside obviously). The food is good, and so is the coffee, but the service is a bit slow and the restrooms were in a terrible state. Maybe it’s better when it’s less crowded.

Some of the best food I've eaten in Israel! I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was truly excellent. The brisket was of a high quality, bursting with flavor and heat (not spicy, but temperature-wise). The pickles added a great touch as well. The other members of my party had the smoked salmon and avocado sandwich which they said was excellent. Two people tried the chocolate chip cookie (cookie) which was okay. It was better once they asked it to be warmed up.

Really liked the vibe of this place. It’s always really full but we still enjoyed our meal. The açai bowl was served with granola and date syrup which tasted sooo good! The saluf and eggplant tasted also really good

Unfortunately very Bad service. 3 time I noticed that the waiters and the cook are smoking inside the kitchen and the restaurant :/ It’s a shame is a really liked this place The food and the atmosphere are casual. The changed significantly in the last year and now is good :) I love their breakfast flatbread with avocado, YUM! Very artsy and very young. Definitely a great stop on the way in central Tel Aviv. They don’t have any discounts ever which is a shame for regulars but hopefully in the future :-) Coffee is average

The brunch was very tasty. It was quite busy so we had to wait a long time for the menu, ordering, food, etc. Nevertheless, people are friendly and it is a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the lively streets of Tel Aviv.

Awesome place! . 1) The staff are very friendly and kind. 2) The food was delicious, I ate the Avocado & Salmon sandwich, it was absolutely amazing. They use very good bread. 3) The location is great, and the music are definitely set up some good vibes. Plus, I came to work with my laptop, and they are very friendly regarding people who comes to work and enjoy nice atmosphere.

Perfectly located in the best street of Kerem Hatemanim. This is a really great spot with good vibes. Surprisingly good food and cheap drinks with ☀ and people's watching is the whole story. Their saluf (type of Yemen bread) is baked on the spot and is the star of each dish!

The food was tasty, however the portions were extremely small and not filling. The deserts tasted better than the savory dishes, except for the Paris cheese cake which wasn't for my taste. The drinks were good. The waiters were nice, however everything took so long and I only got my dish while my family already finished half of their's. Also, my father received a cold steak and had it remade. The sits were comfortable but it was crowded and loud in there. For the price of the place, I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed. If you choose to go I recommend ordering a place before hand!

Don’t let the beautiful marina setting fool you, this restaurant is a complete waste of money. We went because it was recommended, but what a mistake. The service started off fine, but quickly turned dismissive. Simple requests like serving vegetables separately and lemon on the side were ignored. The fish was the only thing edible, fresh and nicely cooked. But everything else was an insult to the price they charge. The vegetables? Inedible. Raw broccoli and courgette, hard, tasteless, and thrown on the plate. When we complained, the server brushed it off with, “it’s meant to be like that,” and walked away. The pasta was even worse l, a tiny portion of overcooked, mushy spaghetti swimming in buttery tomato sauce. It was gone in two bites. We paid around $130 for a meal so bad we had to go to McDonald’s afterwards. To make matters worse, when we tipped 15% (more than they deserved), the server had the audacity to ask if that was all we wanted to give. Save yourself the disappointment and money. The marina is gorgeous, buy a sandwich, sit on a bench, and enjoy the view. You’ll thank yourself for not stepping foot in Marina Dallal.

Beautiful restaurant in the old neighborhood of Tel Aviv. A small courtyard leads to what must have been a family home. We didn’t have reservations but we were given two seats at the bar to enjoy dinner. The artisan bread is delicious. The portions are a bit small but very tasty.

Came for a Friday night dinner with a group of four. The food was mediocre and portions were small, especially considering the high prices. Service was especially poor — we were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time with no apology, and witnessed the shift manager speaking loudly to the hostess right in front of us. We had to ask three times for them to turn off the fan blowing directly above us, and three more times to get our water bottle refilled. One dish was mistakenly served twice and we sent it back. On a positive note, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and the atmosphere is excellent — elegant, warm, and inviting. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting.

Very popular brunch place, came here multiple times. The service isn’t great- you have to ask multiple time and multiple people whenever you’re asking for something. Our waiter dropped some drinks right next to our table (that also spilled on my pants) and didn’t even bother to clean it so people could very easily trip. We asked many times until someone finally did something about it. I also didn’t appreciate how the waiter was intensely staring at me as I was paying and selecting the top amount. The food is good but small portions, I highly recommend trying some of their desserts.

For a place that serves brunch, they didn't have any alternative milk other than almond milk. It was way too crowded and noisy. The prices are very high for ok dishes. The portions are big though

Don’t let the beautiful settings full you. This once great restaurant is now a complete waist of money. The dishes were mid at best, the meat was over done and salty and I’ve never seen a pizza so white and bland. Just don’t go

The food is great, but why are all the indoor tables with AC taken by people with laptops??? You’re supposed to eat out in the scorching heat while one person takes up a whole table and sips a single coffee for three hours.

The service was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the food though: it was pretty mediocre and there were several incidents such as a hair in the water or egg shell fragments on the boiled egg. The atmosphere is pretty nice so I'd recommend going there to meet friends. Don't come especially for the food.

Fantastic Deli located in busy area of the city, it’s a beautiful and clean place, 2 floors and also you can seat outside. the food is very good, there are a wide range of options and again everything looks very fresh. there is a possibility to buy different products in the delicatessen and to take home. 👍

Fabulous delicatessen in a beautiful spot. Sitting options outdoors, and inside on the 2nd floor. The food is soooo delicious. Everything is fresh and delicious. From Sandwiches to pastries. Beer, wine, and great coffee. Loved it. Cleaning table service can improve.

I love the place! You can find different option of food to take home, plus they sell a good variety of breads, cheeses, olives wines, desserts, salads, flowers, etc. Service is good. The place is small.

Great hidden specialty place with awesome Feinkost/Delikatessen/Épicerie Fine style treats. Not just a delicacy store but also a whole restaurant over 2 floors. The brunch was amazing and the desserts too. I highly recommend the bacon addition if that's your thing. You won't be disappointed. And the millefeuille ! Prices are totally OK and service is great. As always beware of crowded Friday mornings but you can book online in advance.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. There's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating and a balcony on the 2nd floor. Food is really tasty and the selection of take out food changes daily. The place is both a deli and a restaurant, so you can find a great selection of food and drinks

Really nice place however pricey. The food overall was good, I thought the steak had a Smokey flavor that seemed a bit too much, I would’ve preferred the classic pepper and salt and maybe a sauce on the side. The filet of catch of the day was wonderful with a delicious sauce swimming in it. The French fries were terrible, they came out dry and stale, then after returning them and having a short argument with the waiter, they quickly sent back a new fries however they weren’t tasty at all, the mashed potatoes were amazing though, and they comped the French fries (which was the least they could do).

Love this place for its unique style. The food is really good and authentic. My dream is that all places in Israel would have the same kind of aesthetic as Bait Kandinof. A little bit pricey, but worth it. The staff is great too.

Fantastic restaurant serving delicious food. The salad was so simple but tasted incredible. The food portions are good, and tastes are rich. Small plates vibe, so we shared between our family of 5. Staff very welcoming and friendly and decor is great. We visited during their happy hour, 5 til 7, and received 30% off the bill. Even without the discount, it's not bad value for what you get.

Beautiful interior design, great food and good cocktails. There is even a (paid) parking lot in front of the restaurant. While I wouldn't say any of the dishes or drinks blew my mind, everything was very good, expertly crafted and aesthetic. I'd choose this place if I wanted a lovely, chill night out more than if I was looking for the best foodie experience in town.

Exceptional menu in a beautiful Old Jaffa building. Highly recommend the fish tartare appetizer and the dumpling main course (vegetarian and soooo good!) Loved the old world aesthetic with concrete, rebar, and candlelight!

Bait Kandinof is a true Tel Aviv gem. The food is always amazing, and no matter the occasion, I find myself coming back again and again. The service is remarkable, and the atmosphere somehow always makes me feel at home. It’s my number one spot in Tel Aviv!

We reserved a private room for a birthday celebration. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very unique, it had a very urban artistic vibe to it (due to the special raw walls and huge painting inside). The food was excellent! we enjoyed every bit of it. We had a variety of starters to share and mains as well. We left not crumbs behind.. everything was so flavourful and delicious, arrived quite quickly. Dishes portions are medium size (not huge..), take that into consideration when ordering. Other than that, we had a great time here!

The usual coffee shop was packed. Google Maps led us to a similar-rated place for hot chocolate and cake. Disaster. The "hot chocolate" was a watery sugar bomb disgrace straight from a Nestlé packet. Each sip screamed dental apocalypse. It sat abandoned, a monument to disappointment. Why serve this garbage? Is it a ploy to addict with cheap, fake cocoa? Coffee shops charging real money should offer real chocolate, not this sugary mess. The seating was fine, and conversation flowed. The waiter? A delivery ghost. Order dropped, then vanished. No napkins, no water. I had to chase down the bill myself. High ratings baffle me. Is it just for sitting? The chocolate and service tanked. Maximizing profits with minimal effort? I noticed. Thumbs up if this saves you from the sugar bomb.

Loved this place. Great atmosphere. Inside & outside dining available. Sat outside. 🦋 Loved our waitress. She was very accommodating. 🦋 my special coffee was delicious. I asked for an off the menu style of coffee & she delivered. 🦋The food was delicious. Loved my gouda sandwich, highly recommend. 🦋the chai was alright. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Excellent breakfast There are different breakfast options: many sandwiches, eggs and shakahouka, chia puddings and other meals. All portions are big and everything is really tasty! There are different coffee options, matcha latte is also available. Here you can also have morning mimosa for 25ils :) Very cozy place, there are tables inside and a terrace outside. Wi-fi for guests is available. Staff is good, girls can help you with your choice, but the guy is very funny and smiley.

Had an amazing Israeli breakfast. Service was amazing and my breakfast awesome. Had the shakshuka and it was delicious. I could come here every day. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed. Great place to start the day!

Shneor Cafe is honestly such a gem. The staff is awesome, the vibe is chill, and the food is always on point. It's one of the few spots in Tel Aviv that actually gets a weak matcha latte right. I had the avocado toast and it was seriously delicious. Love this place!

Friendly, relaxing, neighborhood Cafe. My order this morning was not a typical Israeli breakfast, but American so I don't fault them for it not being the greatest oatmeal ever. For sure I will come back here and order something more typical.

Really like this place. It's not on a main street so the vibe is pretty chill and you don't have to yell to hold a conversation. The food is tasty and fresh. Come for a meal or just coffee/tea dates.

We ate at Lorenz and Mintz twice this year, both times with relatives visiting from the US. We were a party of 6-8 each time. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor areas with attractive surroundings. Location in a fun area of Tel Aviv, less than 10 min walk from the light rail, and L&M is one of the few Kosher restaurants in the area. Servers came almost immediately to take our orders and were attentive. Food (dairy) was tasty, if not unique, and portions were generous. In addition, both times we were there, the staff allowed us to continue sitting after we finished eating, without rushing us in any way, which was very appreciated. Two small comments about the service: 1- The food came out at different times, with some of us receiving our dishes almost immediately, others only after 10-15 min, and some in two batches (breakfast served quickly, with the omlet only coming later). I realize different dishes require different amounts of time to prepare... but we should have been asked whether we wanted the food as it was ready, or all at once. 2- The portions were large and served on large plates, but the table was narrow and small. We asked the server if we could add an additional table and spread out a bit, and she basically said a polite "no" even though the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. It filled up partially only as we were leaving. It's not pleasant to eat when there is no room for everyone's plate.

A Disastrous Dining Experience at Lorenz and Mintz—Avoid at All Costs! I rarely feel compelled to write a negative review, but this time, Lorenz and Mintz truly earned it. What was supposed to be a pleasant meal during Passover turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience, with an absurd price tag of 180 (!!) Shekels per person. To start, we waited nearly an hour just to be seated. When we finally got a table, it was in direct sunlight, and despite asking five times for some shade, they begrudgingly moved an umbrella over the table—only after persistent requests. To make matters worse, the table itself was a shared long dining table covered in a dirty green paper cloth—hardly an inviting setup for a high-priced meal. Before entering, payment was required, and instead of a warm welcome, we were handed a tacky orange paper bracelet—more fitting for a children's party than a restaurant. When I attempted to pay with my digital Wallet app, I suddenly heard a notification sound, realizing that the hostess had charged the wrong card without my permission simply by holding the device too close to my phone. After multiple failed attempts to correct it, I had no choice but to accept the charge. And then came the food—if you could call it that. Every dish was a letdown. The pasta was cold and sticky, the pizza bland and unappetizing, the salad carelessly chopped, and the salmon undercooked. Adding insult to injury, everything was served on paper plates and cups, with only water and lemonade as drink options. The wines were cheap and undrinkable, completely missing the mark for an event centered around dairy-based cuisine. If we hoped for redemption in dessert, we were sorely mistaken uninspired, disappointing, and forgettable, a perfect ending to an already miserable experience. The fact that Lorenz and Mintz charged such an exorbitant amount for such low-quality food and service is nothing short of a rip-off. If this establishment once had a good reputation, they did a phenomenal job destroying it with this disaster of a buffet. Consider yourself warned—spend your money elsewhere!

Excellent food. Its my second time here. The mozarella salad was great. The black ravioli was really impressive. Note: a bit hot to sit here at lunch during the summer, both outdoors and in. If you are heat intolerant this could be an issue.

The place is located is a great place near the south of Tel Aviv. There was a line before entering, which took a while, but I guess it is usual on a Friday morning. The food isn't cheap, bug you are getting large dishes so if is worth the money. The food itself is tasty, you can probably share some of the dishes and get a desert, that looks good but I was too full to try. The waiter was nice and responsive and got us everything that we needed in a quick manner. The place itself was nice, albeit a bit hot, it was a very hot day.

I walk past this place si many times and have never seen it. It's inside this construction and I always thought was part of the synagogue besides it, but no! It's an amazing place for brunch/lunch! The place is very chill, as it's not so close to the street The place was pretty full as it was Friday. We ordered 2 big toasts (one was a croque madame, the other I can't remember) and they were HUGE, with cheese, eggs and one had salmon. They both come with a drink included in it I really recommend trying this. We also ordered a salad with tuna that was very good. All of this was perfect for 4 people as the dishes are big.

Probably the best kosher breakfast we've had in Israel. Unusually varied breakfast menu. My wife had the Greek breakfast which included a delicious filo dough pastry stuffed with bulgarian cheese, homemade stuffed grape leaves in a citrusy sauce, amazing tzadziki dressing, two eggs, a delicious salad, and an ouzo lemonade. PERFECT! I had the croque madame, which is a kosher version of the croque monsieur. Instead of ham, it had delicious truffle cream and mushroom filling in the fried sandwich. The serving portion was huge. It also came with a delicious sald. We topped breakfast off with a delicious ice Irish coffee and standard hafuch. Truly an unforgettable breakfast. We will be back!!!

Nice dairy place The location is great in the courtyard of an old, preserved building. There is also a beautiful Italian synagogue and an art gallery in the same location We had a bruschetta with a lot of vegetables on the top. Well prepared , tasty but not special. We also had the "redefine" burger, which is supposed to be printed. Feels like a burger, but it is not a burger kind of thing. I had it before, and this was not my favourite. Too dry and with the texture of a frozen piece of meat. The burger alltogether was not very successful ,missing some sauces to make it juicy. The chips are very good It is probably better to stick to pasta, salads, and pizza, which are the hardcore dishes of that place. I tried them before, and they are tasty. Finally, a warning. Check the cost of adding an extra ingredient on a dish before ordering it. The cheese on the burger was an extra 15 nis, which seems exaggerated. Again, nice place, good waitering , just stick to the "traditional dairy dishes"

We came especially for the bakes on Saturday, and there weren’t any, such a disappointment. The place was packed and messy. And for some reason”the coffee doesn’t come along with the pastry” this was a very disappointing experience. And above all- the pastry is just a pinch above average- nothing special as promised.

One of the best coffees I have had in TLV. This cafeteria doesn't serve meals but readymade salads and sandwhiches - and cool pastries such as carrot cake and crack pie. The desserts are to die for. I absolutely loved their salad lunchbox as well, which allows you to taste all of their amazing salads. Highly recommend. Small seating area inside, but huge nice outside area with greenery and shade.

This is the best place in Tel Aviv🥰 Love their food and garden terrace. There are a lot of great sandwiches, salads and sweets.

A nice spot for good coffee and sandwiches with a chill atmosphere. The food is a bit pricey and you might have to wait to find a place to sit. We had the blueberry muffin, which was amazing, eggs and smoke salmon sandwich, eggs and avocado croissant and eggs salad with bacon in Chala bread. If you're in the area and looking for a good coffee this will answer your needs.

Such a cute place! I got a yummy iced coffee with almond milk and a piece of their famous carrot cake which was divine and indeed worth the hype. The prices are very convenient, which was a nice surprise since I expected the food to be way more expensive due to its great quality and it being freshly made. The service was amazing, the guy who took my order was super nice and had a very cheerful and happy vibe. The seating area is peaceful and quite with great music selection. Great for a chat hangout with a friend or even for studying. Very recommended! Would come there again and I already plan on visiting again and trying other goods.

Food is so good and fresh. Salads are t’as fil and inspiring. The green tea is delicious. Staff is nice and good vibes to work there or have yoga class after.

Great sandwiches. Had the omelette and salmon and the pretzel with bushe and jam. Both were amazing. Coffee was good too.

So I had some time to kill in the morning before my flight home so I joined friends for a walk through this area and had a great time seeing all the stands from candy to house hold items. You can do all your shopping here. The sights, sounds and smell of bread and cooking is wonderful.

A market is marked all over the world. Fresh on the spot juice from a variety of fruits. Market with sellers trying to get you to pay overprice for copy products like Nike, puma, Hugo Boss etc. Lots of cheap souvenirs from Israel. Some sellers can be very invasive Most prices can be dropped with a little bit of bargaining, Most shops sell the same at all different prices. Plenty of Mediterranean food which is delicious.

A very lively loud and very crowded market where one can find nearly anything, esp, food, spices, clothes, leather goods (incl. well made fake luxury brands). Fresh meat and fish are sold too, sometimes connected to a small eatery (seated or standing). Eateries are very crowded, loud and ventilators are blowing you away or provide fresh air (depending on how one can appreciate such kind of air blowing). If one appreciates a little less noise and crowd I can advise to take a side street and find a cosy place to eat or drink.

A must see in Tel Aviv. The atmosphere is amazing and it nearly gives you a time traveler experience. You will find authentic stuff but as well some usual.. stuff. The food stand will let have a bite of everything. But no words can describe the experience, just go there!!!

Carmel Market, one of the most colorful and exciting places in Tel Aviv. Not only fruits, vegetables and meats, but also clothes, children's clothes, shoes, glasses, accessories, toys etc.. Full of small restaurants, food stalls, everything is bustling, colorful and fun. Do not miss a visit to it. 

Different great 👍🏻 sellers who wants to sell you something but still professional. Some of them not really. Definitely if you are a girl, guys would like to speak with you. Don’t hesitate to try everything and if you like you buy. To negotiate is Normal. Also kids negotiate

An incredible bazaar full of an eclectic array of well priced goods. I loved coming here! It’s exactly what you want in a market. It has interesting / quality goods, decent prices, and good food and produce. If you are in Tel Aviv, this place is an absolute must. If I’m ever in the country again, I will be back.

A friend had recommended this restaurant to me several years ago. The ambience and the decor were beautiful. From the beginning, we had very bad service. The server was not very warm or welcoming. However the owner was nice and tried to redeem our experience which was a nice gesture .

Great tasty food. Nice quiet place. The waiters can speak Hebrew and Russian, English seems a little bit more difficult for them but they're friendly and try their best. I also order their food on Wolt often and they usually turn out very tasty too.

We were a group of people and we ordered a few starters and entrees for everyone to share. It was all delicious. From the salads, to the fish and the meat and the sides. I recommend and will definitely come again as well

It wasn’t a nice experience to visit this place. The food is overpriced, there’s nothing special in the menu, it doesn’t worth the price 150 shekels for main courses. The waitress was nice at the beginning. Then i’ve asked to pack leftovers to go, because i’ve ordered too much. For some reason she decided that I wanted to reorder again all the dishes to go and asked the kitchen to re-cook them. When i quickly said that she misunderstood me she became arrogant and rude. At the end i found out that the prices in my bill were higher that in the menu. The manager said that they’d just changed the menu and the prices got higher. In the menu the price for the main dish was around 90 shekels, in the bill it was around 150. See the difference

Super nice place right next to the beach The restaurant has a very cozy European atmosphere Service was professional The food was excellent! Shrimp dish was very flavorful - I recommend ordering the bread and dip it in the sauce Salmon was tasty, the small potato pie was on point! Borscht soup was well balanced and had great flavor - you can feel it was cooked for a long time Same with the beef stew - so rich, just delicious Pilmani was so soft - like eating a meat cloud I think I found my new favorite place near the beach!

We came in a very large group, some where visiting from abroad, at the time we were about to sit we found out that we were off in our counting and had 4 people more then planed (total of 27 people) The restaurant team took it very nice, moved some tables and chairs and help to accommodate all the extra people, we all enjoyed very much, the food was good and the service took good care of us.

As the vegan restaurant goes, cheese for the Greek salad was replaced and changed the texture, not as expected, but seasoning was good. Steak was surprisingly good considering it was 3d printed. Enjoyed the cashew labane a lot!

Amazing gem in the midst of Neve Tsedek. Quiet, pedestrian, secluded and peaceful. The food is vegan, fresh, special, colorful and sooooo tasty. The waitresses and the hostess were so friendly. And the price very affordable. We highly recommend it.

I’ve had incredible vegan food before, so I have high expectations and this place didn’t meet them. It was decent, but I’m not running to go back. The best part is the atmosphere on the patio outside, if you like plants. The service was the worst of all. After not being greeted and waiting to be seated for several minutes, I finally asked someone for assistance. After sitting down, I was ignored for 10 minutes. Several waitresses passed by me; none of them offered to bring me a menu or water. At some point, I went inside to get someone’s attention, and one of the waitresses literally skirted into the kitchen after making eye contact with me—really weird! The food did arrive at my table quickly, however. It baffles me that a bowl of tahini spread would not come with bread—they make you buy it separately. This is Israel, a.k.a., the Middle East, where a meal is not complete without bread.

We had such a wonderful time!! The food was amazing and the staff was so nice. Totally recommend going there! The food options were very unique as well. The texture of the cheese in the greek salad was fantastic, the foccacia warm and fresh, the labneh had a tangy taste to it, the sauce of the gnocchi was creamy and comforting. Would go there again for sure😍

For non-vegans, this food was excellent!! Loved the risotto and the “steak” chunk. Delicious mashed potatoes too. Also loved the cocktails! Friendly and helpful waitstaff. Highly recommend!

Food was not that amazing. We ordered 4 appetizers, two of them were way too salty for my taste (tofu and mushrooms). Service was great at the beginning but it started to go down the hill until the end. We had a table very close to another table at the point that was hard for me to stand up because behind me was another person at the neighbor table. Deserts were ok, matcha ice cream had no flavor. Our waitress disappeared at some point so I had to ask someone else to get our bill. When we got our bill we were asked if we would like a complimentary drink at which we said yes for whiskey…and guess what?! It never came. When we left, the same lady said goodbye to us. So unfortunately not a great experience!

Its not too hearty and cheap but it has nice ring to it, interesting menu, definitely a vegans hot spot. Meals are not big but still you leave rather well eaten. Flavors are good. Service is maybe one step behind to what it could be but it doesn’t take away from the experience.

The food was good, the steak exceptionally good, pasta was good the restaurant is so expensive and not worth the price in my opinion. Also, the dessert we ordered was absolutely disgusting. I don’t remember what it was called but it was purposely burnt as part of the dessert but it tasted like we were eating coals. I had one bite and didn’t touch it after. I was shocked that they would serve such a thing.

The food at Pronto was tasty, but in my opinion, it didn’t justify the high price point. While everything we ordered was good, there wasn’t a single dish that truly stood out or made me want to come back just for it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was great. Overall, it was a good experience, but nothing exceptional.

The whole experience was awesome. The appetizers served were the best, on the right size and extremely tasty. The main course also in a right size and tasteful. More than a classic Italian restaurant, I felt it's more an Italian culinary (exquisite) experience. With everything going so well, my expectations for the desert was very high, but it was only good (on my opinion it supposed to be great). The staff were always pleasant and nice, paying attention if I needed anything from them. Definitely a place to go back!

6 adults ,dinner. Amazing experience, very good food , very pricey. Starter dishes are pretty small. Everything tasted real good, 2/3 of the desserts we had were salty which is kind of refreshing. Steak was great, cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Upscale restaurant located at Tel Aviv city center. The drinks and dishes are pricy. The cocktails are not that good (taste-wise and serving-wise) so rather to skip them and go straight to the wines. On the dishes side- the corn ravioli and the calamari dish were amazing. The rest of the dishes were nice. Appetizers are average in taste in my opinion. The Kasata dessert was amazing and special. Service was kind and efficient. Interior design for upscale restaurant is mediocre.

Pronto during COVID-19 is offering a special menu which is based on local ingredients and a more fine-dine experience. Problem was that this fine dine experience was not as fine you would expect. Although food was great looking it was hard not to notice that they served burnt bread crackers, the buttered Asparagus was dull and was not properly salty and that the meat dish was over cooked. The pasta and Denver cut were super good though. Service was OK, though we had to wait for some time to get attention as restaurant was understaffed.

A nice Italian restaurant. Personally I didn't find any justification for the value of money. Been in many fancy restaurants across the glob and this one is over priced with no special reason. The dishes are pretty small and tastes fine but not "wow". Drinks are ridiculously expensive (122 NIS / $34 for G&T!). The place is nicely decorated, like all the nice restaurants in Tel-Aviv. The stuff are nice, but don't think they got to the level of a ££££ restaurant service. They should do a house check on their prices or match their value to the right level.

What stood out most to me was the friendly and attentive service by the host. He was genuinely friendly and caring. Please note that they have a "happy hour" on alcoholic beverages as well as a special lunch menu from noon till 4pm. We arrived at 3:45 pm but missed it since it took them till after 4pm to take our order.

Sat there twice, both horrible. No service, you need to chase the waitres to even notice you. Breakfast included tuna, egg salad, and 4 cheeses, could be nice to get also gems or more kinds of condiments. First time may be a mistake but twice? When we went out, half of the waiters were on smoking break.

Dizengoff Cafe is a great place to stop in for a quick coffee, or to stay for breakfast or lunch. The inside is very cute and the patio is the perfect place to sit and people watch. I highly recommend!

I had high expectations for this cafe, especially given its reputation in Tel Aviv, but overall, it was not good imo. The focaccia bread was the best. It was fresh and slightly burnt which I love. I also ordered the white fish fettuccine, which was bland and underwhelming, tasting mostly like milk and parsley with no real seasoning. To make matters worse, the service was painfully slow. I had to call the servers over multiple times just to get basic attention, which made the experience tedious. For a place that’s supposedly so popular, I expected much better. Definitely not in a hurry to return.

A great coffee shop in the middle of Dizengoff St. The decoration of the place is very delicate and beautiful. I really like the atmosphere, this is one of the best things in this city. food was excellent, I ate the Roasted Salad and it was very special. the flavors are very surprising, fresh and refreshing. what I like the most is the taste of the ginger in the salad dressing. The bruschetta was tasty but overpriced. staff is friendly and polite.

Beautiful little spot, expansive menu for small and large dishes. Calabrese toasted sandwich and the shakshuka were ordered. When we went to pay, we weren’t asked to leave a tip or had the option, our card was swiped and we were off. Sorry about that, we would have liked to have done the right thing 🌈

A big choice of breakfast dishes as well as regular menu. We tried crispy chicken sandwich and Mesahan (chicken on the bread with tahini and species). Both dishes were huge, we didn’t manage to finish it. The sandwich was nothing special, came with a spicy sauce - I would not recommend to take it. Mesahan was very unique mix of tastes and spices, we’ve never tried anything like this. It was also very filling and good for sharing. The place was full on Friday afternoon, all tables outside were taken. Amazing vibes and a lovely view on a busy Dizengoff street.

Highly recommend the Pear and Almond Cream Tart! Fast Service: Very efficient with multiple cashiers and self-ordering kiosks. Short wait times for both food and coffee (2 dedicated coffee stations). Seating: Air-conditioned indoor seating and outdoor seating facing Giv'on Square. Convenience: Clean restrooms, free cold water, and the option to order online for quick pickup.

The best bakery in Tel Aviv! Great flavors and great stuff but very pricey and gets very busy on the weekend. Make sure to try the Almond Croissant. Open 24 hours during weekdays and closed on the weekend since the place is Kosher

The service is great and very fast. It’s a really nice place to come with the laptop. The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious. The salads can do better. I definitely will return.

I love Lehamim. It's a wonderful bakery that is working around the clock on weekdays. On weekends it is closed. On Friday it has relatively long lines, but they take minutes to clear. The verity is usually good, but if you want something specific make sure to call and reserve it because things run out. Highly recommended.

Truly my favorite bakery both in NYC and TLV. Fantastic selection of pies and pastries of you're in a pinch, and of course great place to have a snack.

I had a very good evening in this unique place. I came with a friend, we started with a drink on the terrace and then we were seated inside. We had a 8-9 course meal. Some of the dishes came with a drink too. The staff was very very professional, helpful and friendly. It’s a great place for a special occasion.

Ordered in. We had high hopes as this restaurant is well known and has a good reputation but we were so disappointed. We Ordered sea bass for 124 nis and we got two small pieces of whatever it was. Also we ordered the bolognese spaghetti for 78 nis and got a small dish with so little bolognese. The mashed potatoes wasn't creamy and had no taste to it and the salad was rather simple, I could make one just like it at home. We will definitely not order from here again. Very disappointed.

Great Experience in "Reviva & Celia 2nd Floor" We organized an a family only event ,with a great help of Babi and her team . Babi was very helpful and accepted our terms in the event ,with organizing the music ,the sensetivity of people to kinds of allergies and bring them the correct dishes. The food was great and tasty ,top quality. Super recommended place. 5 stars!

Had an amazing brunch here! The Benedict was served with 2 slices of challah with salmon in the middle and it was just exquisite. Quick to seat us, quick to take our order, quick to receive the food too!

Waited 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order, waited 25 more.minutes for the drinks to come out, after reminding 5 waitresses, including the shift manager who apologized, and yet... At the end, after waiting 10 minutes for the bill, we just went out without leaving any tip. The restaurant ignored our customer service messages on Facebook (said we will be contacted by the branch, but no one approached). It was a great place, but I don't see any chance of us returning.

A Cafe in the busiest part of the city. It is certainly expensive, but I can't say the food wasn't excellent. The dishes were delicious and presented beautifully, and the staff was quite friendly. The cocktail weren't so good. Definitely not worth it, I wouldn't order them again. Our experience was about average.

Me and my mother came here and ordered a couple dishes to try! The menu was very easy to order from. The scallop dish was a little over cooked and the scallops were rubbery, but the flavor was good. The mozzarella and tomato salad really doesn’t need the horseradish, it’s extremely overpowering when it’s sprinkled on the top. It’s interesting to add, but it’s not necessary. The fish was actually really good for me, but not everyone would like it since it has a strong olive oil taste. I thought it was the best dish though. The shrimp dish was definitely over cooked and the bread was soaked in oil. Overall the mean was good! Was it amazing? No. But it was good. Would come back here, but I’m not running to get here.

I really wanted to try this place, hesitated between brunch and dinner menu, chose the later. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed. I expected dishes to be precise and neat, but they looked like they were made by an amateur, meat in tartar and meat cut was of very poor quality, also tartar looked very pale and cream of egg yolk just didn't work on it. One of the worst cheesecakes I have every tried. The positive side is Happy hour from 17:00 till 19:00 with 30% off on everything.

When I say amazing food, I mean it! A menu of simplistic but absolutely delicious food. Everything was fresh to order and service was great. We ordered their Beef Tartare & Pickled Yolk Cream, Tomatoes & Mozzarella Salad, and their main Sea Bass Fillet! One of the top restaurants I added to my Tel Aviv restaurant list!

We had our Saturday morning breakfast at the bar of the restaurant. The staff was extremely hospitable and treated us to free shots which was fun and much appreciated. The ambiance and atmosphere at the restaurant was great and we had a good time, the food was good overall but relatively pricey for the amounts. Personally, did not like the croissant with Buche cheese.

It was my last time here. The hospitality is 0. The owner’s wife was walking around me very aggressively. She took chairs which previous guests put there. Ok there were extra and we didn’t even need them. But she came and took them without asking me if I need them and looked at me like I did something wrong. And happened something not nice and actually very traumatized. She showed up standing above me with aggressive asking to take out from chair my legs. I was without shoes. I put it there because I was tired and the chair wasn’t dirty after me. Other guests near us put on it with shoes. I asked is it disturbing her because she is disturbing me. Then happened next not nice things: - bulling me with other people around just to make more reactions - talked about me in Hebrew. But I understand and speak Hebrew - bulled me because of my level of Hebrew meaning that I’m Ola Hadasha - and finally she proposed to call to police. But why? Because I put my legs on a chair? - oh, she also asked to live cafe because it is private place. P.S. I know that owners read all comments and response in a very rude way. I don’t care. You don’t know how to be nice with people. This experience is more for guests.

First of all, the coffee is delicious! You should come try because it truly is great coffee. However, as others have mentioned the customer service here is so terrible that I will not be returning to the cafe. I’ve visited many times over the past years and every time I enter I’m treated with hostility, anger and just plain rude behaviour. Staff bark orders at you, have no patience for simple inquiries. They make you feel so uncomfortable being here. It’s a shame to ruin such great coffee with such terrible atmosphere. This could place could be amazing if management just got the act together and did some staff training or retreat. I’m literally leaving the cafe now feeling concerned for the emotional well being of staff. If they treat customers this way, they must be feeling pretty lousy themselves.

Great location, great quality, great music, but poor staff, always snobby faces of baristas, lady that proclaimed herself as an owner was arguing with us about putting our legs on the chair(without shoes) while others were doing the same (with shoes on!) and she saw it without saying anything to them. Usually thats what people do in this place and i never saw within last 3 years any problems. The way my wife was asked to put her legs down was giving us understanding that the person was looking to express her importance there. Looks like it was something personal with us but this was perfect example of arrogant ownership. Zero client service. Very sad.

I've been coming to this place on my way to the gym almost every day, usually I get a weird and stressful vibe from the staff and a rude and condescending attitude from management... Come here to get good coffee and see the Jaffa boheme sitting in groups and discussing art and life. Note there is a second floor where you can work with a laptop. The plum financiers look and taste great.

We came to Herzl 16 to celebrate finishing our master’s degree!!a group of 15 people on a Tuesday at 6 PM and had a fantastic time! 🥹 The hostess helped us organize a long table and even added chairs as more people arrived. She wasn’t the most smiley person, but she was helpful and efficient -no need to take it personally. We sat indoors and really enjoyed the atmosphere stylish, good music,cozy, and perfect for a celebration. The food and drinks were delicious. Our waitress was excellent ! super professional and attentive, managing our large group smoothly so everyone had what they needed. We ordered lots of dishes. I had the samosa with the perfect sauce, fries, the hamburger, and a spring roll (listed under another name on the menu). We also drank quite a bit of jasmine tea and Coke Zero 😅 I didn’t try dessert, but my friend had the mango sticky rice and said it wasn’t very good, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend Herzl 16! great vibes, great food, and thoughtful service!

I want to give this place 4.5 stars. The food is grate, the atmosphere is nice. I’m not old but sometimes (depends on where you are sitting of course) the music is way too loud (way way too loud). Another thing sometimes the waiters are not so nice and helpful. Everything else grate (the food is really nice)

Lady called Alisa talked to me in K bar 2 nights ago warning not to come to Herzl 16 anymore based on the fact I am not buying drinks there. That is lie and not true. So I demand public excuse for discrimination and financial compensation for the moral threat to a citizen of Israel. I am also documenting compaint to a ministry of justice and department of protection of human rights. I demand to investigate that case publically and prosecute the act of discrimination accordinlgy. If you’re looking for a hidden restaurant that opens out into a beautiful open air seating area, followed by an indoor area with an on point bar, serving delicious cocktails and a fantastic DJ playing insanely good tunes, ambient lighting and various different heights of seating areas with intimate seating, on point service, ridiculously tasty food, then this is the place for you. I enjoyed everything from being seated to being served to the tasty food to the delicious cocktails I would definitely go back again for the charred cabbage, the Korean wings and the sharing box where you build a burger from lamb and chicken shawarma meat. I had the house cocktail which has a blend of 16 herbs and is the most delicious cocktail. I drank while I was in Tel Aviv for five days.

A shocking experience, I arrived with friends and they put us in a broken room without air conditioning (the window was broken and there were cockroaches on the floor) after hours claiming there was no other room and after changing 3 rooms at 4 in the morning we got a normal room. Of course we didn't get a refund either

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The room was spacious and clean. The rooms and hotel indoors are clean. The surrounding area is dirty However, there is room for improvement in the service. While the staff are fluent in other languages, we would have appreciated it if they could also speak Hebrew. When we asked for a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine, the receptionist said that they did not have one and did not have access to any other parts of the hotel that might have one. This was a very cold and unhelpful response.

I’ve spent more then four weeks at this hotel. Once you enter the hotel kindness and hospitality of the receptionists will envelop you with relief after a long trip. My special thanks go to Alex, she helped me always with warm smile and understanding, solving my requests straight away. My special appreciation goes to Halima, taking care of my room. She is amazing person. It is always my great pleasure to meet her, talk to her or just say hello, she’s always smiling, asking about my needs and after her cleaning….my room was charming and shining being left with her special touch for detail. Entering the restaurant for having a breakfast is always pleasant moment of the brand new day. Welcoming you the great staff of the restaurant with executive manger Gal in the leading position. Everything is going smoothly and perfect under her lead. Really nice to talk to her anytime, empathic, always smiling, gorgeous lady remembering my favourite hot drinks. Being served by other charming ladies in the restaurant, especially Annam, brings me feeling of stay in loving and caring hands. Edward, nice man, looking great and fresh in his uniform, taking care of the cleanliness in the restaurant, is always smiling and has a friendly attitude especially when I had a breakfast alone. The stay at this hotel was really delightful experience for me.

A Dim Light at Brown Lighthouse Hotel I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Brown Lighthouse Hotel in Tel Aviv, and I must say it left a lot to be desired. While there were some redeeming qualities, the overall experience was far from stellar, and regrettably, I won't be returning. On a positive note, the hotel boasts a fantastic location, nestled just a stone's throw away from the beach. It's an ideal spot for beach enthusiasts. However, during my stay, the street outside the hotel was under construction, leading to unavoidable noise and inconvenience. One of the major disappointments during our stay was the lack of room service. This proved to be quite exasperating, as we had to repeatedly call the reception for basic amenities and requests. It seemed that every time we needed something, we were caught in a frustrating waiting game, especially when we needed to freshen up and prepare for dinner after a day at the beach. Speaking of preparing for dinner, the room lighting was abysmal. The lamps provided were simply not sufficient to adequately illuminate the room. It felt like we were stumbling around in the dark, which was far from ideal. Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of our stay was the unavailability of the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, it was closed due to a private event, and we were unable to access it as guests. This was a major letdown as we had been looking forward to enjoying a drink with a view. In summary, the Brown Lighthouse Hotel has a prime location but falls short in several crucial aspects. The lack of room service, poor room lighting, and the disappointment of a closed rooftop bar left us with an overall unsatisfactory experience. While there may be potential for improvement, my recent stay has left me with the impression that there are better options available in Tel Aviv.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT The check-in process was a disaster. We asked for a twin room and they gave us a double room. When we went down to alert about the error, the person who attended us was rude, with zero intention of helping and lied to us on several occasions. First she suggested that we share the bed, as there were no more rooms available. Given our refusal, he questioned whether they were one bed and not two together, and we had to go up to take photos to prove it. Despite having told us that there were no more rooms, we saw in Booking that they offered and a couple next to us booked a room at that same moment. Finally, she offered us a double room, but with separable beds (despite having told us there were none). We had to separate the beds ourselves, and ask for sheets and blankets, and do everything ourselves, and we were told that the next day we would be relocated to another room. All this at 2 in the morning, and with a lobby that was full of people coming and going with drinks that came from the nightclub they share a building with, and alarms ringing all the time. The initial image was terrible, it looked like a cheap motel. Finally, they told us we could stay in that room. Beyond the unpleasant check-in experience, in the three nights we spent at the hotel we also had other “surprises” such as the fact that our room was not made even though we had requested it and alerted to housekeeping or that the beach towel service that offer, was not available one of the days. The hotel was very well located, close to the leisure area and city center and a 5-minute walk from the beach. The rooms and toilet are good, but very poorly maintained (curtains with holes, scratched floor, loose cables...). In conclusion, it has been a disappointing experience and I would not repeat it. It's a shame, because with better attention and service as well as better maintenance it could be an excellent hotel.

Old and dark hotel. My room had bad smell. Very good quality shower gel, shampoo, lotion, conditioner and soap. Very good breakfast. Hotel manager is very good man with good ideas. Hotel staff are very very supportive, Russian and Ukrainian girls. Very good location, very close to souvenir shop, 20 meters. 500 meters to Mediterranean sea. There is a construction near the hotel which is annoying. Hotel has more than 20 floors and it has four elevators. Elevators do not have numbers inside and you should push floor numbers outside the elevator before entering it. Funny

We visited the hotel for brunch this Friday and it was pretty bad.. first of all the staff doesn’t speak Hebrew (but their English isn’t so good as well) so it was really hard to communicate with them- especially when I had to explain my food allergies… second, the food was simply not good! everything was tasteless the variety was so-so but above all it was pricey and wasn’t worth the nearly 300 shekels we spent for it, zero value for money. The food was so bad that I had to replace the dish twice 😓 very disappointing. The place is nice- decor and ambiance gets them two stars instead of one.

The hotel was wonderful, the room amazing, very nice experience except for the pool that was way too crowded. We arrived on a Saturday and we didn’t have a spot to sit by the pool, kids were in the outside jacuzzi and we had to leave to go to the beach… The pool is great early in the morning, later it’s better to avoid it. Other than that the breakfast and the facilities were amazing ! I’ll be back.

Excellent summer stay mid week. Perfect location, amazing breakfast and large room with stunning views. Rooftop pool is a bit small but the lifeguard makes sure to seat you and the pool bar is amazing. Spa is open and free of use to ALL guests and it was very clean

The food was divine! Both jn the gorgeous breakfast hall across the hotel right on the beach which was beautiful and the shabbat dinner and lunch had excellent dishes. Rooms were nice too. And staff was friendly. Shabbat elevators were not so well planned, but otherwise a great stay

Absolutely loved my stay here. All the staff were very nice, accommodating, and spoke perfect English, making all communication easy and also making me feel very comfortable. Location is perfect for discovering the city, with a quick scooter ride to Yafo. Beautiful beach, with plenty of space and not super packed. I also really enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast and rooftop pool with an amazing view of the whole city. Perfect for a nice sunset.

Good rooms. Great service, especially from Gila at the reception staff and the breakfast team. The breakfast is truly exceptional even for the high standards of an Israeli breakfast and it’s available 6:30-11am. A game changer!

With its fantastic location on the beachfront, Carlton is an excellent choice for its views, comfort, and quality of service. The breakfast is at a separate building with a great view of the sea. Very nice rooftop pool with great view, clean water, and very nice music. Businesses lounge provides the same great views, smiling and friendly staff-Nes&Ira, and nice snack area.

I didn’t stay here, but I did come to eat. The waiters were very nice, but it took 40 minutes for our food to come out. Very disappointing, but they did give us a discount due to the delay. It’s a high end fancy place. Very nice facilities, and I’m sure the rooms are very nice too.

We spent a night at the Drisco and we had a nice experience. The rooms are basic although the bathrooms are huge and well equipped. The balcony (we had one) is a waste of money... you are blocked by a tall building one side and by a huge Ficus tree on the other...no view at all. The staff was very welcoming and supportive and the overall vibe is excellent. The rooftop drink "happy hour" is nice gesture however the sunset is mostly blocked by (another) tall building.... Do note that the hotel does not offer a pool. I recommend strolling around the American Colony neighborhood, HaMesila Park and the old railroad station during afternoon/evening

Thb Cant tell you about the rooms, was only dining there for brunch. It was really really great, the service was high level for sure, astonishing coffee, tasty food and everything was on par with what you could expect this was on the pricier side relative to the food size but fair because once again it was delicious. Nice buffet. Many quality options and a great service. They are not charging for kids under 3 which is great. A bit too expansive but not unusual than entire Tel-Aviv...

We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet. A large variety of carefully prepared dishes beautifully presented. In addition the program includes a freshly prepared dish from the menu, coffee, tea and juice as much as you require. Pity the water used for coffee or tea has a bit an after taste. Otherwise a very nice experience, also the service is very attentive.

Good service. Nice selection dishes and a good buffet. The terrace sitting area gets uncomfortable during the summer. There is a large parking about 5 minutes walking.

A great coffee shop and restaurant for breakfast and Brunch. Open until 13:00, and the buffet is served and always full until the last minute. Yet it's recommended to arrive no later than 12:20 the latest in order to enjoy this breakfast. Nice variety of salads, smoke fish, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruits, fresh and squeezed juices. In addition to the main course of Eggs Benedict or omelet type. Enjoy :)

BEST BRUNCH IN TEL AVIV...!!! Great quality, very big variety and beautiful looking buffet. The deal: amazing buffet (really sweet quality of products), cold/hot drinks (including multipal hot drinks and juices), deserts and a main course - all for 115 NIS. The main courses were super special - they have lots of unique combinations and different cousins. Must order in advance, between 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the group size (we were 11 so we ordered a month in advance). The service was perfect: fast, kind, efficient, understanding - everything you want under the pressure of the restaurant during a packed brunch. Great experience! Enjoy (:

Great food and good service. Dinner has and tasty menu in a reasonable prices. Weekend brunch is amazing and has a variety of cheese, salads, breads and juices. Really recommended! The place is located at Hotel 65 so it has quiet and calm atmosphere.

Their buffet is very rich, and they have various carpaccios made of different things (: Besides, each meal consist of a main (eggs) dish, and one coffee. There's endless juice (very good ones, too!). The only downside is that the price for non hotel guests is expensive - around ₪90

Delicious food, high quality products and lovely staff! They make you feel at home and never want to leave. The gravlax French toast is a must when there. But everything is tasty so you can’t go wrong. They even give a slice if cake with every coffee order. Nice touch.

I won’t even bother you with a long review. I just don’t feel like sharing The World’s Best Almond Croissant with any of you. He is the king. Huge, fatty, filled with almonds on both sides, crunchy outside and soft inside, that piece of art, combined with great coffee and a smile, gave me a sense of hope. And yes, I haven’t tried the rest of the pastries yet

New place in Tel Aviv. The place serves excellent breakfasts and coffees. All of the pastries are super fresh and delicious. The price is low and that’s unique. We had a good time.

We decided to give this place a try after reading all those excellent reviews and quite frankly we were a bit disappointed. We came at an evening hour and we’re told that many of the pastries are already not available we tried the spinach pastry with egg and a salad which was both only OK. After that we tried two of the desserts which looked great but again were only OK (and actually gave us a flashback to the 90s). Service was price though and we had to ask for things a few times and the toilet was kind of dirty actually. I know we won’t be back at this place but I guess it will succeed because it’s kosher and there aren’t a lot of kosher options in the area.

One of my favorites in the "Old North" of Tel Aviv. We came here for breakfast, had coffee and two dishes. Coffee was good but the best part is the big, tasty and decent priced food. Avocado toast was great and so were the pancakes. I also recommend the French toast with the mascarpone & berries , wow!

We ordered french toast, pastry with goat cheese and onion jam, and almond croissant. French toast was the best hands down. Almond croissant was too big and rich for us, too much sugar and filling. Good coffee and mocca. Very good and fast service. Next time I would probably order the avocado toast, it looked very appealing on other people plates.

This Cafe offers European desserts that are a cut above the good cafes of Tel Aviv. All their pastries and cakes are made in-house from scratch on a daily basis so one is always assured to get same-day desserts. The service is truly excellent. The owner is acting as the "host" and he provides great service and genuine care for the customers. I have been there twice more during the last 2 weeks since my initial review and yhe quality and service eere as good as the initial visit. I am enclosing their menu since they also offer great meals. They have a small dining room and a good size patio with a retractable roof. The cafe retained the old decor and has an appealing 1940's-1950's feel to it (Patsy Klein, Lois Armstrong etc). The background music is also great and low enough not to overpower conversation. A single stall washroom is off the dining room on the same level.

For those who are searching a good coffee, excelente service ( nice people) and a neat please to eat, you should definitely visit this cozy cafe. P.s: The Pastel de Nata it’s amazing, brings you back to Portugal with the first bite.

No ounce of doubt about it. And if, like me, you have had croissants 🥐 all through your childhood, and your last visit to Europe had a stop in Paris and the croissant was so dreamy it brought you hallucinations of childhood memories because it was THAT Heavenly... And you since have spend years looking for the best croissant in Israel... Look no further. This is it. There is no better croissant in Israel. None. So the way I see it: best donuts AND best croissants in Israel?? I cannot emphasize this enough: Go eat there! I sure as hell am coming back! 😃🤩🤑🤯😋😋😋

A branch of my favorite bakery chain in tel aviv that i’ve never been to before and it wasn’t a let down! Staff are super nice, baked goods (custard pastry and maple pecan pastry) were fresh and yummy and the s’mores cookie was absolutely divine and moist!!

Tidy little shop with great fresh coffee and welcoming staff members! Delicious cookies were the best and the Crescent pudding pastry was amazing! Came for a visit with a friend few times and definitely we'll come to visit again:)

All the juices are great. Recommend coconut passion fruit! You can also sample all the flavors in small cups

After traveling around for awhile was nice to be at a place with so many healthy drink, and smottie options. Also there acai bowl 👌 so good.

There are a ton of smoothie/fruit bowl places in the area, but this one wins by far. Unlike the others they don’t over-sweeten and they have a far superior selection of fruit. Would come here any time.

A great range of fresh juices for a reasonable price, really friendly staff with a great taste in music and the hot chocolate is awesome too, kind of hot and spicy (I tried it because of some other review here... was indeed happy I tried it! :) )

WATCH OUT: THE FRENCH FRIES ARE NOT VEGAN!!! even though that’s what the menu says. The waiter told me they fry them in the same oil as the chicken breast. And the bathrooms are filthy and stink to high heaven! A great place for people-watching, meeting friends and/or remote work. Ok food. Okay coffee. This popular neighborhood restaurant-café has two floors: the ground floor and outdoor area is charming and buzzing with people; the second floor has work tables (and bathrooms, which I’ll get to later). Wi-Fi is free and steady. They have a water cooler upstairs, which is nice. The customer service scores much higher than the Tel Aviv average and that’s a blessing. I’m seeing an upward trend in customer service at restaurants, which is giving me hope for peace in the Middle East. The decor is inviting and the furniture is comfortable. The clientele is friendly. Prices are reasonable for central Tel Aviv. The food is okay - just regular flavors, nothing out of the ordinary. I had avocado on bread, twice (in the first one the bread came toasted, while in the second it did not - but that’s no big deal). For such a popular café the coffee is quite ordinary. And as with most Tel Aviv cafés there’s only one coffee bean option. Although the coffee seemed have been made with care by an experienced barista, it was just alright. The seating areas are kept neat and tidy. The bathrooms, though, leave a lot to be desired. For such a busy café they’re not kept clean enough, with all the traffic. The bathrooms didn’t smell clean and have no air circulation. Israeli restaurant owners need to learn more about the direct relationship between bathroom freshness and appetite. All in all, a very nice experience.

The Streets offers a pleasant experience overall. The food was quite good, with a nice variety and fresh ingredients, though there is still a little room for improvement. The service was decent but could have been a bit more attentive and quicker. The atmosphere was nice and enjoyable, providing a relaxed and casual vibe that fits well for a comfortable meal. Overall, a good spot to visit, but with some small improvements, it could be even better.

I needed a place to work for the morning and came across comments about how laptop friendly The Streets is. Even though the upper level was full, I found a table on the ground floor and had a couple hours of productive time. I had carrot cake that was terrific! I also noticed there are a lot of power outlets both inside and outside. I think I probably picked the one table I didn't see a power outlet at.

Lovely spot for a weekend coffee with friends So why three stars? I was disappointed from breakfast :/ Especially for higher price comparison to other coffee shops. Coffee was cold Eggs tiny Very where quality of sides And the bed was 5- in qualities ( toast came dry and cold) For food I would give 1-2 stars But the staf was 10!!!! They were so nice! Seriously they leave me happy in a very welcoming vibe! Will checking back in couple weeks :-)

A really great café, which has been around For a few years now and I visited frequently. Among my favorites are the squeezed juices, the salads, the sandwiches, the burger and the biscuit cake.

Great spot to sit with a laptop. The coffee is really good, the food is nice, prices are a bit on the high side, but the service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Took a little while for the waiter to notice me, but once she did service was impeccable. Prices are... Well, pricey. The menu is pretty varied, good coffee and a short but nice selection of beers (Goldstar on the menu is always a winner in my book). It's quiet enough and romantic enough for a good date or getting some work done. Oh, and it's 24/7.

This visit was an awful one. Started with reservation, which I specifically moved to be inside. Yet, when we arrived the hostess showed me that it was written "outside". Managed it. Then it took an eternity to get our order: salmon and a hamburger. And the restaurant was not busy at all. It was 3:30pm. Salmon was good. But the hamburger was not tasty, the meat was fibrous, lots of tendons, lack of taste. On top I received French fries fried with 2 days old oil. Look at the picture;( At my request they replaced the fries to normal ones, but that came too late. Bottom line - disaster of lunch! The only thing that was as usual are high prices. Not recommend!

Very long wait if you didn't reserve a table. We waited 50 mins+ since they let people with reservation in when their time arrives no matter how long you've been waiting outside with annoying flies biting your legs. Theoretically during rush hours you can wait there indefinitely if every open table will be filled with a reservation (for example, you've been waiting since 12:15 and it's currently 14:00, the people who reserved for 14:00 will be sat). As for the food, it was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I recommend visiting, but only if you have a reservation.

We had a lovely breakfast here. If you looking for a little bit of class this is the place for you. Everything we ate was good and the service was excellent.

A superb place for a Friday morning brunch!! The Avocado &eggs and the Benedict were tasty. From the deserts we really liked the big Macaroon. Coffee can improve…

Excellent local restaurant which is situated in the centre of a lovely neighbourhood. The menu is compact, salads, pasta dishes and a few mains of meat or fish. Everything we tried was very tasty, made from quality ingredients and properly cooked. We enjoyed the leek patties and also the enormous Schnitzel with a buttery mashed potatoes. The service was friendly, fast and professional. It's an excellent location for breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended

Amazing breakfast experience in lovely corner of Ramat Hasharon. The atmosphere is very unique and comfortable, food is excellent and service is great. Friday mornings are busy so come early or book in advance.

Went their to celebrate a birthday. Cocktails were amazing, well balanced. Service was good. Food is definitely worth the money, kept me satisfied for hours. Definitely coming back. I suggest to reserve a table, it gets crowdy towards noon (at least on Fridays).

The restaurant dominates almost half a block. Central location in the "pispishim" market. Reasonable service. Good dishes, but small. Reasonable prices plus. Good salads, beets, vitamins and tomatoes. A singer who elevates the atmosphere to a high level of excitement.

Food and atmosphere were excellent. A lot of outdoor dining space. Would definitely recommending stopping by if you are in the area. We had the Tuna Ceviche, Schnitzel and some drinks.

As a couple, we had breakfast that we paid 200 shekels for, including everything, and we were full to the brim. The bourekas were so good, they were gone before I thought of taking a photo of them. That brie was splendid. Great food, friendly staff (shout-out to Shlomit and that nice blond russian guy that served us), good atmosphere. Cold americano and cocoa were pleasant. Lotta good options for alcoholic drinks as well. Much recommended.

This place is awesome, I’ve been there once so far with my family and we ate Masabaha and vegan Pizza from Mimi and some other dishes, the prices were fine and the service was ok, the place is in the middle of the Jaffa flea market and us a really nice vibe.. more vegan options would be highly appreciated but overall great place to enjoy an evening with some family/friends, have a couple of beers and some food👍🏻

Very busy place. Service is not so great as they are overwhelmed. We still enjoyed our meal. We ordered: Bruschetta Bresaola, Pizza American, Seared Fish & Sweet Potato Gnocchi.

Very nice cafe/restaurant with dairy/fish/pasta options. No meat, a lot of vegan options. Most of the place sitting outside in the park, so if summer time must be in evening time. Good service and food was taste we are Salomon file and Pizza with vine. In the evening may be problem to get place to sit, you will need to wait in entrance. Place is kids friendliness, as well you will find kids separate meny, with painting option for them. Parking you will need to find around the park.

Charming small cafe in the old north part of the city. the staff and the owner are from Brazil and they super nice people, you can find here many blends of great coffee. the atmosphere at the cafe is fantastic, so relaxing and the music perfect + great taste of decoration. they have also some sandwiches and sweets. I really like this place ! Highly recommended !

This place is really cute and small. It’s perfect for someone who either wants to take a coffee and go or someone who would like to sit down with a book or do work on a laptop. Is very relaxing and can be quiet. There is also outdoor seating and they have heaters on a chillier day that you can ask to use if needed. It’s a lovely clean coffee shop with a few food options that are nice like sandwiches with cheese, tomato, and lettuce on rye bread. I don’t even like rye bread but it did compliment a sandwich I shared with a friend so I’m impressed! The pastries they had all looked great, they had cookies and different types of cakes. The staff was very kind but informed me that they couldn’t make a cold brew because the machine was not working. I wasn’t able to get the coffee I had hoped for because I don’t like hot coffee but I’m hopeful for the next time I come that it will be repaired. This place is a blend of Brasília and Israel apparently which I thought was cool! I love the idea of fusion in the same place. I would come back here but just remember you might not be able to get your cold coffee if that’s what you were looking for. I’m sure it will be fixed by the time you read this though!

Great coffee and family atmosphere by a true Brazilian family who run this business with a lit of love and creativity. They accept Colu which is always great and know how to serve a great cortado. The main downside would be the opening hours (not open on Saturday) and the slow/confused service. Went there twice and in both times had to remind the waiter about the coffee. Generally a friendly staff and attracts coffee lovers and professionals from the old north of Tel Aviv. I would advise this place if staying or living in the old north area but would not make the effort especially unless you really want to try specific blends or seasonal Brazilian treats. Bottom line, the place is a coffee shop which respects fresh and artisinal coffee and provides friendly and quiet atmosphere.

I heard about this place from a friend and had to check it out, even though I'm not a coffee fan. I liked the chilled, calm and friendly atmosphere. As mentioned before, this is a family owed business and it makes all the difference, as you feel right at home. I had the cold coffee which was very good, and I'll probably try the food sometime soon. They also have delecious-looking desserts which at worth trying. So if you are around, it's definitely worth a visit!

Such a cute and friendly coffee shop that serves a variety of fresh coffee and tea infusions. The coffee was perfect and the cakes are delicious. The place has such a good vibe and a warm atmosphere so you don't really want to leave even when you finished your coffee. If you liked the coffee you can buy it and enjoy it at home 👍

Definitely one of the best spots to enjoy a good coffee and some brazilian treats like pão de queijo (cheese bread). If I want some different experience and taste, they explain me easily. I like also to order coffee for my espresso machine and I never disappointed with it. The staff are always very friendly.

Just wow. Best rugelach I’ve ever had. I was trying to be good and bought only that and an iced latte. The rest of the desserts and sandwiches looked delicious and picturesqly perfect. Chic and charming, there’s only outdoor seating with fans, in a cozy patio of a small side street, across a huge bougainvillea tree. Highly recommend and worth the hype! Oh and there’s outlets!

One of the best bakeries in Israel. They offer great breakfast menu for take out, having the best outdoor places to be nearby (Susan Dallal or the beach), they also offer a picnic basket in weekdays (needs reservation) Try their famous croissant bagel (with or without cheese)

We paid 140 shekels for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. One was a bagel with the fish, the bagel was a few days old, like a stone. The fish was also not the freshest. Another sandwich was also not tasty, with cheese, pear and Chilli sauce. I had to throw everything. Old, bad tastes. Coffee was very middle, weak. Nice mirror and interior, though. Having lived in Israel for 7 years, I have never eaten such a bad old bagel here.

Everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. I was attracted to all the twisty things here. Not shown were small rectangular puff pastries with cheese inside and sesame seeds on the outside. So good!

I visited Dalal Bakery in Tel Aviv and had an amazing experience. The vanilla cube was absolutely delicious — perfectly light, flavorful, and so fresh. I also ordered an Americano, and it was a real, high-quality coffee, not watered down like in many places. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Wonderful bakery in the picturesque Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Had this poppy seed and apple tart, which was delicious. Not too pricey, and lovely to sit and enjoy the place. Highly recommended!

The best bakery in Tel Aviv, everything is delicious but the Raspberry Danish is beyond divine. Try their iced coffee with it to balance out the sweetness.

This is a lovely cafe in my neighborhood that I absolutely love. It’s super cozy, and many people come with their dogs, which makes it feel extra friendly. They have the best cookies ever (especially the pistachio ones) and honestly, I’ve tried almost everything on the menu 😁 The sandwiches, soup, curry… all delicious. It’s the perfect place to sit with friends on a rainy winter evening and just enjoy the warm, homey atmosphere

An amazing all around place. You can come here to have coffee to work or just hangout with friends. Everything is delicious, the coffee, the food, the pastries and the deserts. You'd be happy no matter what you choose. The service is super fast and you never wait more than a few minutes to get what you want. There are a lot of sitting places so you never need to stand and wait. Just a few minutes walk from Dizengoff and the beach. This place is a must visit!

Very spacious place with plenty of seats. The food displayed at the counter looked delicious with a variety of savory and sweet. We chose to go for the healthy breakfast options this time from the menu and we were not disappointed. They were many options and everything was fresh and yummy.

No BS- it's awesome, but not the best. It ticks a lot of boxes, the biggest one is that it opens at 6am!! So when your hotel coffee sucks, this does the trick. That also means, all other "best" coffee are disqualified if you can't get it when you need it. It's not cheap, but i got straight forward service, a good street side seat, hanging out at a great community, chomping on good grub, seeing well-behaved best doggos.... it's near a gym and a super market if that maters you to... and i can smoke. What else is there to want? More than a must-visit, this is a geat repeat place.

Cute little place, I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was awesome with some Arak lemonade cocktail to go with. It was delicious :) 2021 update: just made a Wolt order to the beach for some sandwiches and it was perfect. Best idea ever. The sabich and spicy chicken sandwiches rocked, and I recommend adding an avocado topping to the chicken sandwich, it really pumped it up :) 2022 update: sat for breakfast on a Saturday morning, the service was super fast. Was a bit packed but nice overall.

My absolute favorite for a qyick bite in Tel Aviv. Superb food, lots of options to choose from, great quality of food and very lively atmosphere. Lits of smiling friendly people around. Almost all the time full, but totally worth waiting for the table. Huge portions.

For me parking was super challenging. However, afterwards I understood that I could’ve parked at the fee parking lot of the mall. Shoval was our server, she was super kind and patient. I order ice coffee with babka. It was so good. I love the idea that it’s Passover now and they had both options for kosher for Passover and not (basically everyone is welcomed). Also my friends are vegan and she had several optioned for them. The atmosphere was great and the food arrived quite quickly considering that the place was fairly busy. Definitely I’ll be back. Leaving just next to Zelik i visited a few times. This time i had lunch. While location is on a main street outside the mall it feels quite. Services was prompt and fast and the place itself is clean. Food is good and me and my wife were happy with what we ordered. Only comment is they have a new sushi menu and i find it weird because i believe that sushi should be served in places that do sushi.

A decent coffee place with nice food, nothing amazing. Some of the dishes are kinda creative which is nice but most of it is pretty usual. Atmosphere at the evening time is better, sometimes the music is too load but when we ask to put it down a little they did it within seconds. Lack of seats so in rush hours you'll probably have to wait for a while.

Amazing place to get breakfast. Especially the Shakshuka was very tasty and came with fresh salad, bread, and three dips of your own choice. I would highly recommend to try their Shakshuka. Do note that it can get crowded around breakfast time, making it pretty chaotic.

Come to spend time with family and use the gift card Aroma that was given at work. The staff said they did not know about any gift cards and offered to buy breakfast. As a result, the morning is spoiled, do not buy or give gift cards, they do not accept them!

Good place on the seaside. tasty coffee and cakes. There are good breakfast in Aroma. I bought coffee to go!

In addition to coffee, Aroma also sells tea, juice, sandwiches, hot soup, pastries (like croissants, cinnamon rolls, red bean rolls, etc.), hummus, salads, etc. I usually order their combo meal: a latte and a pastry, which costs 22nis. If I upgrade to a large coffee, it costs 24nis. This price is very cost-effective in Israel.

A real Speciality coffee in the city center. The coffee was very good, served nicely and very tasty. The atmosphere is good, many people, nomads and students. It is a good place indeed for coffee lovers. Food items were lack and could be better to have sometime small, fresh aside the coffee.

These people will literally go out of their way to make sure you don’t get the coffee you want. I’ve come here 4 out of the 5 days I’ve been in TLV. I come here because it is rates one of the best specialty coffee companies in the state. However, you ask for pour over (“filter”) and they automatically ask you if you want the batch brew (“drip”) which they somehow miraculously have already made or as I saw yesterday, the barista just made an americano to avoid the 3-5 minutes it takes to make a filter coffee. If I brought my own tools to make my coffee in my hotel, I would have and just bought their beans and never come back. I am baffled by the way they push off the work as if it such an extreme effort to make filter coffee which tasted much different compared to batch brew. Whomever owns these locations (especially Dizengoff Square) should think about educating their staff on the different. I’ll be happy to spend my money at Mae or Cafelix (whose filter coffee taste 10x better) and don’t question how your order your coffee and make it to order.

Adjacent to Dizengoff Circle, Tel Aviv. Nahat speciality coffee shop offers excellent coffee beverages, cakes, pastries and light snacks. The freshly roasted coffee is delicious & the barista service professional. Choose from the many and varied speciality coffee ☕ freshly roasted beans. All options available in their professional coffee grinders. From a Fellow pour over, flat white or espresso you will not be disappointed with the brewing method or resulting coffee ☕.

Gave it a 3 star just because the coffee is way overpriced. Yes, it's a really good coffee, and the placeis cute, but the price doesn't justify it.

This Cafe is right at the Dizingoff Square overlooking the fountain in the center of the square. Their eat in area is small and they also have outdoor seating with headlamps for some tables. Their coffee and pastries are OK but not great. For their patio customers, the hostess at the entrance takes the order and process the payment. Orders are brought to the hostess station and the customers pick it up from there once their names are called.

Nice location and delicious looking cookies. However, the coffee is rather okay-ish. Not sure if it was meant to be an iced cappuccino, the coffee was a bit thin, maybe not really espresso beans. But they serve it in very large cups!

It wasn’t great, the food was okay, the atmosphere was okay, the service was incredibly slow. The coffee was absolutely terrible. It really wasn’t bad, but it was not good either and I cannot understand why people would line up for this place. I got the Israeli breakfast. The gluten-free bread is the same one they serve at aroma. My friend got avocado toast and his dish was very small, and the avocado was no good. I gave him some from my food because it was for sure not enough for a meal.

The staff were friendly and the smoked salmon sandwich was pretty good. I had ordered the pan seared Norwegian smoked salmon with a mustard sauce, but they placed the order incorrectly and I received a normal smoked salmon sandwich instead. The sandwich came with an Israeli salad which consisted of diced tomatoes, cucumbers and red onion and it was delicious. I also had an Estrella Dame beer.

Have been having a coffee there for the last couple of months every Sunday morning. this morning we had breakfast. Excellent food and service. Bread fresh as was the salad and everything else was very tasty. Definitely recommended. We'll be back, as usual, next Sunday, all being well!! Update: This morning 18 August, we again had our coffee after a walk. The young lady pictured served us as if she was the owner! Really happy when I told her the place got a five 🌟 rating from us! Fully deserved! When she brought us our change, she added a couple of pastries. Loved the gesture! Great PR! Well done Yankale's!! One caveat!! The other day some people next to us were smoking. It hasn't happened before. Smoking area not signed so best to ask when you sit down if you're in a smoking area!

The food was great, we had ravioli with quinoa salad and loved it! (We asked for the sweet potato to be on the side) It's big portions we barely finished together.. Service took some time to notice when we needed them so we ended up having to leave before dessert.. then they asked for a tip and we gave an amount and they took a little more.. with a grump.. unless it was a misunderstanding Also - hottest day of the year and they have no water jugs as is mostly customary in Israel. Had to keep asking for cups of water.. didn't notice if they charged extra (in most places here jugs of fresh cold water are free)

Tasty food, good prices, great service

The food and the drinks taste amazing, although are much pricier than most places in tel aviv. I paid around 70 shekels for two pastries and one coffee. The atmosphere is great and welcoming as are most of the staff. I had only one unfortunate incident where I asked for a pastry with a particular topping out of the few that they had and they gave me the wrong one. I came back to the counter to ask them for the one that I ordered and paid for and the person working there insisted that it's all the same inside anyway and it doesn't matter instead of just changing it to what i asked for in the first place🫤. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have ordered a particular one.

Disappointed... After all of the hype and great reviews that I read I was truly disappointed. I am new to the neighborhood and was excited that they were just a three minute walk from my apartment. I wish I had taken pictures of the three pastries that I bought to share them with my thoughts on each one. First of all, everything tasted and had the textures that they were day old and not fresh (I was there at 8:30 in the morning). I love Almond Croissants and with this one it was only the sliced almonds on top that had any similarty to an Almond Croissant. It was bland and had no type of filling. Then there was a pastry that looked like a miniature/single serving of a chocolate bobka. It had a bitter, not sweet taste. The third one was the only one that was tasty and seemed to be fresh. Unfortunately that is the only one that I have no idea how to describe since I never had anything like it. It was a square that had four sections on top. I think that the guy behind the counter said it was a butter pastry. My Hebrew is not up to par and the two young employees did not speak much English (which I am now living in Israel and am slowly learning). I thought of giving Milk Bakery a one star rating but this last pastry is what made it a two. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Really nice bakery. Very hip, can get crowded, but with a decent amount of places around to rest while you drink your coffee. Coffee is really good and so are the pastries.

I came here for a lunch to have a sandwich and something sweet. Unfortunately, at 13:00, almost everything was sold, just few sandwiches left that looked quite sad and no interesting pastries. I ordered a salmon sandwich, profiterole with vanilla cream and American coffee. Everything was good, not woow, coffee too watery for my taste. Girl told me to come either in the morning or on Friday, then they have amazing stuff. Maybe I will and then I'll update my review. There is no inside sitting, so in summer it is could be too hot to sit outside.

Simply stunning baked goods. Great care in making, and delicious coffee. Their chocolate chip cookie is out of this world. Arrive early for the best selection.

From the way they answered the phone to the fact they were still open beyond the hours advertised to the friendly laidback barista to the excellent coffee to the delicious baked goods - this place is a treat.

This is a great neighborhood café that is in the area for quite a few years. I have visited multiple times, the food is not bad at all. Indeed the service could be a little quicker and they can improve the maintenance, especially in the restroom, but it is nice and quiet, great for small meetings and to work with your laptop.

Wow! This was an amazing place, great for breakfast / brunch or lunch. Quintessential Israeli breakfast, excellent coffee, really nice vibe and very friendly staff. We went there for a birthday brunch with our 6-year-old son and they put candles on his French toast and sang to him 😃 The entire family loved it - thanks so much! Highly recommend the shakshuka, the "fisherman's breakfast", the coffee and any of the breakfast specials. Will definitely make this a regular spot.

Cozy neighborhood spot which is great for breakfast, lunch or casual dinner. Great vegan options as well. The service is good, but could be a bit slow sometimes. All and all great haven in the middle of the city

For bread, cookies, cakes Lachmanina can't be beaten. Really, their artisan bread is amongst the best ..and for take-home, after 8:00pm, any unsold bread is half price. Eating in...good coffee, sandwiches, a good selection of salads. Maybe best of all, is the friendly, very helpful staff. Customer centered as you would wish other places would be, but aren't.

I had bulgur salad with olives, kohlorabi, feta cheese and cranberries. It was tart and sweet, not too heavy and very good. For desert I had a chocolate cheese cake with coffee. The portion was quite large and came with sour cream with a hint of orange. Again, very good. Would definitely visit again.

Come here early in the morning and see the world doing his stuff, while you eat a bread and drink your coffee. Try the Nelson bread and the coffee. If there is still "Hetzi Pita Sabich" - try it, it is awesome. The prices a normal, but the place is crowded most of the time.

We arrived especially from Modi'in and really enjoyed !! Very fresh, very tasty a stunning attitude from the waiters and the owners, who goes around to ask the guests if everything is o.k. We ate a premium breakfast - highly recommended !!

Super friendly staff, reasonable prices and good taste

I came at Sunday at 10:00 exactly. Not too busy, very calm day. It took the waiters 5 minutes to notice me (sitting and making eye contact doesn’t seem to work), and then it took them 25 minutes to simply get me a cappuccino +croissant, something that shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes, at the most. So I got up and left - but guess what happened exactly when I got up? My order arrived. I politely told the waitress that it is too late and unacceptable.

Nice cozy place with great coffee. A hidden jewel in Herzliya. Can get crowded during the day.

We just fell in love with this place! Little authentic cafe with unique spirit. The best coffee ever! Outstanding food. We loved everything we tried. Plus excellent service with personal touch straight from the owner (great guy and very professional). We are now big fans and will be definitely visiting again. If you haven't been there yet - highly recommended! ❤️
