Quite a shady place. Very little variety on the drinks menu. Receipt is hand-written, no pricing on menu. I was given price for one of the drink, end up was charged higher on receipt. Rp900k+ for 4 drinks and 3 shots. Very little patrons when I went on a Saturday night, maybe I know why. Won't come again.

Very amicable & proffessional staff and the bar is complete with Large Screen TV's, Pool Table and well placed seating through out. Been a regular haunt of many of the Batam expat community ever since it was opened.

Recently been to this place. Had a great time. Though I was alone but didn't feel it. Staff was very friendly especially Jessi & Regi. Had a great conversation with Jessi. I also learnt that the owner, Mariah takes care of her staff well and that's why staff enjoys working here. They seem to have a restaurant also upstairs which I didn't explore and only tried some starters at the bar counter. Must visit when you are in Batam. And yeah, their DJ played good Bollywood and Punjabi music.

One of my favorite bar in Batam City, I went there 2 times a day. The price is cheaper then bar in the same street. Everyday 11am-7pm is happy hour which is only 25000idr.

Was at Square Club Batam on 29/03/2025. Holy smoke, the music and ambience was awesome and shout to the max! Live Band performance was absolutely incredible beyond my imagination. Both singers sang with their hearts out to gave the audience the best that night which will always be one of my best memories in Batam.

Loud even by club standards Music was good with a mix of DJ (EDM, top 40 remixes, Indo and Chinese music) as well as live bands. Stage performers and dancers were nothing special. It’s a sitting bar/club, no attire requirement and no dance floor. Not like singapore clubs if that’s what you’re looking for. We did not reserve and ended up sitting at the bar. Recommend to reserve ahead if you want a better table in front. Drinks were strong and rather affordable around 150k each. Bartenders attentive and there’s a TV playing sports if that’s your thing.

The best club in Batam is located on the second floor of the I Baloi Hotel Batam. The new Lady Gaga (*Wina) is very helpful with reservations and other arrangements. As for the prices, I would say they are normal, although there was a super huge charge of 30% which I don't know why. Nonetheless, I enjoyed coming to this club during my 3D2N leisure trip to Batam. By the way, here's a piece of advice: If there is a live band, please do not ask your guest to sing on stage, even if they are your regular guest or friend of the band. It is not enjoyable for the other guests and it is unprofessional for the band as well. Overall, it was totally awesome! I will definitely visit again when I am in Batam

Many clubs around there are either sleazy or filled with vices. This is a nice place to bring friends for a decent clubbing experience in Batam. A little expensive but well worth it.

Nice place for hangout and chill. They have KTV Rooms with amazing design and sound system. They also have LIVE BAND and DJ everyday!

Enjoyed the great live Band great music great place, but one of the pub security get drunk and try to attack me for no reasons. Last night I was enjoying my drinks and dance, he came out of nowhere and throw a chair on me.. I am a female guest there, I spend lots of money to buy drink to enjoy myself but somehow get treated violently. I informed the waiters and the pub manager but they just saying sorry behalf of that embarrassing security . I thought pub security supposed to do his job to keep the place safe but he try to attack the guest instead of doing his job. I think he deserve to get fired from his job because he can damage the pub reputation.

2 Aug 2024 The karaoke room is spacious enough for us - 3 of us. Good selection of older songs. The system is running on older windows os so got to be patience with it. It’s not cheap but we had fun singing.

Not sound proof which means you have to turn your song volume to cover next door sounds. Price is cheap though. Just finished 2hr singing session and overall it has been disappointing with the available song selections (limited choices), sound system (cannot control echo which is too loud), service not good (asked the staff about adjusting the echo only to be told to adjust the music volume), ordered song list keeps resetting and you have to re-enter your songs, food is cold, microphone battery are flat after less than an hour. Price is overpriced for this singing environment. Unable to enjoy ourselves for the whole singing session of 2hrs at all.

Sing to your hearts content! They have a scoring system which makes your karaoke session more fun. Be sure to book early or you'll have to wait for ages to get a room or you'll be disappointed as all rooms are fully booked.

Friendly staff (including kak Cindy as a receptionist), vibrant space, best quality audio with easy use equipment given me and my friend a sensational singing experience. I can't sing well but the sound can be listened nicely, thank you Inul Vizta Nagoya Hill.

Very happening place with great live band. Kudos to the staff (male bouncer) who keep talking to us and made us feel at ease. As this is a club with girls. Most patrons are male and I went with my husband. Drinks are quite costly. We choose this place because of their live band.

Really bad experience, massive rip off, they are insisting on ordering drinks for their hostesses, waiters. We spent there an hour, we were 4 pax, had 2 drinks each, bill was around 250 sgd, price of MBS. Avoid it!

If you are tourist and bring by local friend then yes, but if you go yourself, god bless First time bring by local friend, everything is perfect, second time go with all foreigners, experience was bad. The restaurant’s environment and serving speed were fine, but the freshness of the seafood was disappointing: • Some shrimp had soft shells and mushy meat, lacking firmness. • The roe of the flower crab was dark in color and not pleasant in taste. The food here is super delicious. All seafood are very fresh. The padang crab is a must order item. We ordered one additional portion after the first portion. The steam prawn is sweet and fresh. The black pepper crab is good too

We went there for Sunday dinner, around 7:30pm. The crowd was not so much. Order taking and serving is quite fast. 660k+ for 3 adults - 2 medium crabs, half kg prawns, veg, soup, and drinks.

Have been to this restaurant several times when in Batam. It is located to the Eastern coast of the island and takes about 30 mins to travel there. Strongly recommended to make a reservation and also pre-order seafood such as large Sri Lankan crabs or fish ahead of time as these could be taken by other customers ahead of you. Crab is done either in black pepper or chilli sauce and both are delicious.

I visited a seafood restaurant that was recommended as one of the better options in the area. I chose it because I wanted to explore different dining experiences with a good view and it also happened to be the closest to where I’m staying, Harris Resort. Some of the dishes were enjoyable, while others fell short of expectations. As someone who genuinely enjoys seafood, I found the overall experience a little disappointing. During a quick stop at one of the nearby shops to buy cigarettes, I caught a glimpse of what seemed to be their kitchen or staff canteen, and unfortunately, the hygiene standards were quite poor. That moment gave me a gut feeling literally that I might be in for some discomfort. Sadly, that turned out to be true. Everyone in our group experienced stomach issues shortly after the meal. It’s unfortunate, because the location had potential. But based on this experience, I wouldn’t return, and I’d advise others to proceed with caution. Cleanliness should never be compromised, no matter how attractive the setting.

We had Teams dinner on 6/Mar 2025. The journey took us about 30 minutes from Panbill Industrial Park. The restaurant was spacious, neat & clean. We booked the VIP room for 3 round tables for 24 pax. There were lots of alive seafood in their stocks. The views were wonderful! There was a boat ride service of IDR 25.000 per person. The dishes were fantastic, a mix of spicy and non-spicy. The fishes 🐟, prawns🦐, crabs 🦀, shells 🐚 and squid🐙 were very fresh

2025.03 Cock & Bull Pub, Nagoya I was here 17 years ago and the place has not changed at all, the same menu, nice cold beer from the tap, the clientele mostly expat shipyard workers, maybe not the same staff but everything else as it was including the ceiling fan in the corner rotating the wrong way round blowing air at the ceiling, anyway it will keep the cobwebs out of the corner. Smokers can smoke here any time of day so I didn’t stay for dinner.

The sauce was rich and balanced, making it one of the best steaks I’ve had in Batam. The bar ambience is also great quiet, cozy, and perfect for enjoying drinks peacefully. They have a complete selection, good service, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely worth a visit whether you’re looking for a good meal or just a nice place to relax with drinks. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

The type of person who would drink at the Cock & Bull isn't the type of person who needs this review. The place does exactly what it says on the tin; cold beer, plenty of screens showing a range of sports, and pub grub just as you'd expect. It's a no-frills bar that has probably passed its heyday, but who hasn't? The wait staff are friendly and attentive, there's a pool table and a decent menu, and if you don't make friends instantly, you're probably giving off the wrong vibes. Ask your taxi driver to head to "Kampung Bule" and make this place your first stop. It's the discerning choice for those who don't wish to be solicited by working girls and coerced into loud, over-priced clubs, but who just want a cold beer served by friendly bar staff to watch the game with. (Not for Gen Z)

Was good. Definitely went during non prime time as the only people in there were 2 older Scottish gentlemen doing their very best to be Statler and Waldorf. Food was on the pricey side for Batam but was big sizes and tasted great! Probably a lot of fun during prime time or on the weekends. The pictures are of main bar and the chicken pie.

This place is really happening,as it is really located near to every facility and staff here is really well mannered and they really take care of every single guest and the hospitality is really good and food here is really tasty and awesome and the service is very well done by Via,J.J,Mia,Puspa and Ochang,Dea all are really good and there hospitality is very well and willing to come again.

Was charged IDR 2.990 million which is around SGD $253.85,for a mere 1 hour plus of karaoke/pool table/big room/Around 20can of drinks.Came around 1am close to 2am-ish.Came out around 3.30am-ish as they are closing.Seriously if I know it's going to close around 3.30am,I would have hop to other place.It was not infd,don't expect every visitors to read your signboard etc.So initially,mummy mentioned to my friend that the price would be at IDR 1.7million,but bill came as 2.99million.Singapore karaoke also don't have this expensive lol.Room was spacious with a personal toilet,waiters was polite.Soundwise,I've been to a cheaper karaoke centre with a better sound system.

Just beware of this place. Room and sound system was good. Its quite okay for the price. However, the staff accused us of taking their dice. When asked to review the CCTV because we knew we left it on the table. Miraculously, the dice appeared in the 1st floor toilet rubbish bin and accused my friend of throwing them in there. Heard alot of good reviews about this place and decided to try it out. Food was so so, but we really enjoyed the coffee. They have so much specialty coffee selections on the menu, hence we ended up ordering 5 cups for 2 person. Very fragrant and delicious, coffee beans are good quality, but for some beans, we felt it was under extracted, hence the main highlight of the coffee was not brought out. Nevertheless, it's still a good experience for us.

Enjoyed this specialty cafe in Batam! They serve quality drinks. The baristas and servers were happy to serve us and even shared the story of the space, which makes it feel very special. It's not a high-end, bougie aesthetic cafe; rather, it's your homey corner spot where people feel comfortable to unwind and connect. It feels very special. I also enjoyed their cakes very much! We heard this place takes their coffee seriously and boy do they. When ordering your coffee, you choose the type of beans and the grind. They also have a coffee lab upstairs where I assume the staff test and try out different beans and roasts. By the door, they also have a huge machine with a connected laptop to do analysis. I have no idea what the charts show but the staff sure looked like he knew what's what. We ordered the eggs benedict and chicken with waffles, together with mocha and peppermint mocha. The eggs were perfectly done, and when the yolk flows out, it does so onto a generous portion of sweet spinach, ham and crispy toast. It was also served with a bowl of potatoes which were just perfect. I can't even tell if it's baked or roaster cubes of potatoes but they were fantastic! The chicken and waffles weren't as great for us. The chicken, while chunky and crispy on the outside, was dry and tough on the inside. The waffles were also a tad too dry. The mocha was good and the peppermint mocha was the surprise. Usually peppermint mocha tastes a little too sweet because of how peppermint can be overwhelming, but this one had just the exact balance between the minty flavour and the coffee fragrance. Our friends ordered the sliders and the potato and meat dish. The sliders were all of the same burger type, which we found odd since we thought we could select one of each type. The potato was a sort of mashed potato dish, which was nice but just felt like a middle of mash and a potato cake. The meat, however was really tender and juicy. Definitely worth coming back again.

Don’t come for the food. The food is pretty meh… BUT COME FOR THE COFFEE!!!! The coffee is really good. So many choices and flavor profiles. I particularly like their espresso split shots. The baristas are so welcoming and friendly. Really took the time to explain to me how they pull the shots, the extraction methods, etc. if I ever come back to Batam, this will be a place that I must make a stop at.

Carrot cake is the outstanding choice among all the cakes we ordered. Coffee is also very nice. Even the iced latte drinks used non-generic beans with more sour taste than the typical bitter taste coffee beans used in latte at other coffee chain or cafe places. Great place to hangout as well. I recently visited Marriott’s rooftop bar, expecting a premium experience worthy of the brand’s reputation and what I received was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had, made worse by the fact that I paid a premium price for it. Yes, the ambience was beautiful, and the view was stunning. The waiting staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and the live band even went the extra mile to play my mother’s song request, which briefly brightened her night. But everything else — the food, the drinks, and the overall experience — was an outright letdown. Drinks: The promotional cocktail was a complete failure: the first one tasted like watered-down coconut water, and the lychee pandan cocktail was inexplicably bitter. The wine selection was embarrassingly limited, with almost every grape variety we wanted out of stock. The glass of wine I eventually received was flat, and the white wine bottle clearly had not been properly corked , a telltale sign it had been open for at least a day. At a hotel charging premium prices, this is unacceptable. The only drink that was remotely passable was the sangria and that should not be the highlight of a supposedly high-end bar. Food: The food was where the night truly collapsed. The calamari was rubbery and over-coated in batter, with sides that arrived early only to grow cold before the main course. The Japanese striploin was competently cooked, but that was the lone bright spot. The lobster thermidor was nothing short of disastrous: from the first whiff, there was a strong fishy, ammonia-like odor that no amount of cheese could mask. What shocked me most was finding small chunks of shrimp even a whole shrimp stuffed into the dish. Am I paying for lobster thermidor or a seafood casserole? The lobster meat itself was mushy, broken up, and clearly of poor quality. We left the restaurant earlier than planned, abandoning our intention to stay for more drinks and music. The experience was so disappointing that it ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening. For a globally renowned name like Marriott, this was a complete failure of standards. I expected quality, care, and proper curation of food and drinks. Instead, I was served what felt like careless, banquet-style dishes at luxury prices. This is unacceptable, and frankly, insulting for a brand that prides itself on premium hospitality.

Extremely disappointed, have already lowered my expectations since it’s at Batam, Indonesia. However, I wouldn’t expect too little from a bar at 5-star hotel like Marriott. First of all, it was really really warm and I could barely enjoy my drinks and view due to the warm weather. Worst of all is that we ordered Nachos that probably took 30 mins, and the first bite the nachos wasn’t even warm nor crispy and in fact was very soggy and stocked to the sour cream as though it was heated up via microwave. We also ordered two cocktails, simplest cocktail like magarita tasted like something I can get at a free flow bar for $5. The alcohol used was emitting strong alcohol taste as though like sanitizer, we couldn’t wait and rushed off to the mall beside for a simple dinner. The view is kinda good but that’s just about it, you can’t catch sunset. And it’s just that tiny little spot and awhile that you’ll probably enjoy. Just don’t waste time and go to indoor well-air conditioned place as well as great food and services at Arch Alley. Also, it’s almost Singapore prices for half the standard of usual.

The sunset view was stunning on the roof top. There was a mix up in the table assignment. Had to request for a change of table to the one with the sunset view. Service can be improved on this. Drinks & food was ok. Will come again for the view.

Tldr great service, delicious food, smooth music. But a little smaller than the usual Marriott rooftop bar. Still, highly recommended place. Had a pleasant evening at this place with reasonably priced, great tasting food, especially the pizza. Service was ultra attentive, and the staff did their best to accommodate in drizzling weather, adjusted any strong lighting and gave a happy birthday surprise when requested.

Parking: Venue is located towards the end of the whole stretch. So drive down and look out for the place before it turns right towards the exit. And there are lots of parking spaces here, so yeah, choose from the many. All in all, we recommend this place to unwind, chill and even date. Do also factor your costs before ordering, as it may actually blow abit if you are not aware. So yeah, cheers!!

Great seafood are here right in this place. My fave is the fish grilled in a alluminium foil.... the taste of fresh fish cooked with many herbs just make eat more and more. The Kepiting Saus Padang, wow... I just can’t forget it till now

We went for a family dinner at the Rock Bar Burger & Steakhouse, and I would say that it lived up to our expectations. The location is inside the Quayside Aisle, just at the entrance on the left side, and it's very easy to find. The menu features a mix of American, Mexican, and Italian cuisine, offering a good variety, especially if you are coming intending to enjoy some good drinks. There is a good variety of tidbits, appetizers, and main courses. We tried their chicken satay and chicken quesadillas. We wanted to try the nachos, but they did not have the vegetarian option that my wife wanted to try. We ended up sharing an Australian rib-eye for our main course, as we were a bit full from our drinks and starters. It tasted good, but I thought it was done well against our request for medium-well. The service was excellent, with two smiling gentlemen serving with enthusiasm. The place itself has a good vibe because it's right beside the yacht club, and all the fancy, expensive yachts are docked here. We took a good walk after dinner and said goodbye to this place. We would definitely go here again to enjoy a drink or two with good food together with our friends

This place never disappoints! The burgers are loaded with flavor, steaks melt in your mouth, and the beer is always ice-cold and fresh. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. My go-to spot for good food, good drinks, and good vibes!

Over the years I have been to Rock Bar whenever I visit Sentosa Cove. This is my go to restaurant as somehow it gives me a very welcoming vibes with the relax atmosphere and the ambience. The food is also up to my expectations, service staff are friendly and helpful and the price is reasonable. I am glad that after so many years, the standard has been maintained and I will surely be back again when I am at Sentosa Cove.

We enjoyed an excellent meal here. So much better than many other over rated restaurants here. The flavour of the food was amazing and the portions extremely generous. Service was super top. We will definitely come back to try other items on their extensive menu

We expected a nice steak since the name of the resto includes "steakhouse" but sadly for us it didn't meet our standard of a nice steak considering the price. The grilled chicken with shrimp tastes good but it didn't execute well the grilled part, can't hardly taste the grill sense on it. The food we had...not really something we would crave to come back. But we will surely come back for the fast service and lava cake. We appreciate the free dessert and birthday singing, especially the excellent service of Lea, Radzy and Hikal.

Came here for early dinner while doing a short staycay in Sentosa. We tried their wagyu burger as well as the beef lasagna. Not really up to my standards, given the price point I'd expect a bit better. Lasagna was a bit on the drier side, could've had more cheese, where's the burger patty could've been more juicier... Food was still decent and satisfying, but nothing remarkable. Plenty of seating (came here late afternoon on a Sunday) and nice sea views! ⛵

Our lobster is freaking deep fried and had sauce poured over it! For 1.3 million and then serving such a premium seafood in this fashion. And it’s presented in a jumbled mess too ok. And don’t get me started on the forget margarita. It’s was downright horrid.. the egg floss prawns was good and triple egg spinach good too. The final nail in the coffin is that the “large” sotong that we ordered, came as one single small sotong. We needed to clarify with the staff a few times on such orders, it was a pretty brutal and bad experience overall, please be careful. We won’t be back!

Instagramable with aesthetic Greek decoration. I ordered the small portion on the other hand, I received over expectation, it was more than small. Here we can see sunset and ferry traffics along DJ play when the night comes. Thing I was impressed, I needed to have evening prayer, the staff helped to provide ablution faucet until giving me another part of mukenah (woman's muslim praying attire) as I wore tanktop and pants only. Super recommend as it has affordable menu. Satisfy my craving by only paying for less than 100k. Thank you. We'll be back here maybe later I invite my relatives to enjoy VIP room.

I decided to try this restaurant after seeing many positive reviews. At first, the impression was promising — the ambiance was stunning and there were performers dancing around, creating a lively atmosphere. However, things went downhill once the food was served. The first dish, salted egg squid, was a major disappointment. It was tasteless, clearly made with instant powdered mix and deep-fried, which is far from the authentic preparation I expected. Next came the clams. While the flavor was somewhat acceptable, several clams contained sand and some were rotten inside — very unpleasant. The worst experience was the steamed lobster. When it arrived, I noticed the head was undercooked and the flesh was still frozen inside. I strongly suspected it was a frozen lobster that hadn’t been properly prepared. It was disgusting, and I handed it back to the staff. Shockingly, there was no apology or explanation. They took it to the kitchen without saying a word, and only after 15–20 minutes did they come back with some fried mushrooms as a form of service recovery. At that point, I didn’t feel safe eating anything else they served. I honestly don’t understand where all the glowing reviews came from. It made me wonder if they were fake or written by friends and family. Be cautious — those reviews may be misleading. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Decided to have our last night dinner of seafood here! The place wasn't as packed as compared to the other restaurants, so it was a good choice. There was live band ongoing as well. My friend wanted a lobster, and we ordered the live lobster that weighs around 800g. It was grilled with garlic butter, so yummy! I wished we had 2 instead. We ordered soft shell crab, Cereal Prawns, xo seafood fried rice, squid Ink Fried Rice, Kailan in 2 ways and a grilled cheese oyster. I guess they heard wrongly and gave us another plate of salted egg prawns instead of my soft shell crab. Language barrier, we asked for thr soft shell crab and they thought we wanted an addition, but we were asking to exchange. But it was fine. We ate everything anyway. Super love the food here!

This fusion cafe has good vibes going with their eclectic decor and structure. Ladies with skirts might want to give the second floor with the glass floor a miss but those who can should enjoy that area, particularly during the day. The menu is really extensive and feature local rice and noodle dishes, to bread, pasta, desserts, pretty much anything you can think of. Their inventiveness with the items are a little hit-and-miss but are mostly enjoyable.

A nice place to get out of the hot afternoon and to chill with a book. I sat at level 1 as there was a inviting looking sofa. Ordered Sate Cireng, a Sundanese fritter made of sago flour's dipped into a sweet and sticky black sauce. Taste like keropok except it's chewy. Very addictive snack. Ordered Maldives cocktail which is mango and curacao. Nothing to rave about, a sweet drink but it sure looks good for picture haha Atmosphere is spacious and well decorated with good attentive staff. Love their sink putside the restroom. Took some pics of both day and night for comparison. Natural light floods in day time giving it a good nature vibe. Night light gives a very cozy and warm feel with background sound of birthday celebrations and distant happy chatter. Worth dropping by for a relaxing arvo.

Jz inform the staff can oredi.. Serenade ur song through-out the whole restaurant... it meant even to level 2. If u do go up to level 2 of the restaurant, u can see an 'Table of Nowhere' and more. Imagine having to even walk on a transparent flooring!!! Im pretty sure those with weak hearts will pass, but for those slightly more brave, will wana have their cup of coffee/tea and meals at this section... Visited on a Saturday late afternoon, Lee’s cafe is a Korean themed restaurant, ordered their spaghetti aglio e olio and a chicken burger with a cafe latte and Thai milk tea. The restaurant is decorated with lot of huge size teddy bear (brown) and many photo opportunities if you like soft toy. Generally the food is ok, but the spaghetti is on the very spicy side

drinks: apple yakult and cappuccino both were really good! apple yakult was super refreshing and it was nicely balanced. food: fried beef buldak noodles w egg and spicy cassava beef buldak noodles are super tasty and slightly spicy. kimchi taste was really strong but we thoroughly enjoyed it. portion could be bigger but the taste was definitely there. spicy cassava was more sweet than spicy. the cassava wedges had a crunch to it and was so flavourful on the inside. portion was big so definitely get it to share. dessert: churros w chocolate sauce and creme brûlée soufflé pancakes churros were super light and they gave a lot of pieces. we inhaled it. creme brûlée pancakes was alright. creme brûlée was just at the top, i think any of the fruit soufflé pancakes would be more worth it. pancakes were light and fluffy and the cream cheese sauce was strong but it was nice together. came with a scoop of chocolate ice cream as well. loved the food and drinks here and would come back again for them and the churros.

Nice place well decorated and fresh seafood, even with private rooms with aircon for dining. But the food served is not hot at all. Will taste better if cooked just before serving. Perhaps cos our tour guide booked an earlier timing. But all dishes are cold except for fish that is serve with burner. Fruits came bruised and still served without checking, requested to change. Will not recommend any dish as they r all average. If I have to choose 1 probably the fried pork with salted egg sauce.

I often to come here for accompanying guests from other city outside of Batam to take lunch or dinner. The place is large enough for many people. This time we try the VIP facilities. They have two VIP room. The toilets are clean and mosque too.

All the service staff are so good and efficient. The ambience is nice and the scenery is beautiful. The assistant manager, Mr Mulyanto (i hope i got his name correct) was nice and friendly. He even took the time to show us their new next door restaurant which is beautiful with lovely scenery too serving different types of food. We ordered the crispy yiucam and the sotong creamy shangrila and it was so good!! The staff were really friendly, speak good English and even put up a dance for everyone mid-meal. The atmosphere is nice and windy with a good sea view :) We even tried to spot SG across the waters haha (very faint). Overall great family spot! Wish we could try more dishes!

We came to this kelong due to its Kelong atmosphere. The food is generally nice, except for one dish; the fried rice, which is rather blend. A nice place to take photo. The staff is very friend friendly and approachable. especially .Mulyanto, the assistant manager.

This area is near the beach so there are several cafés located within the same zone. I came across this particular cafe through recommendations on Xiaohongshu and the environment was indeed nice. Since I had some free time in the morning, I decided to check it out — but the breakfast options were very limited. They didn’t even have the most basic option like nasi lemak. It seems like this spot is better suited for evening visits and photo-taking rather than breakfast. male staff was friendly and provided good service. If you’re planning to visit this café for the vibe or photos, it’s best to choose your timing wisely~

Not sure are we going to go back next level again? Such a big disappointment in their finger food arriving all dead cold.. not even slightly warm and service was nonexistent we had to get the menu ourselves. The only good saving grace was the atmosphere. PS: To the management need to do something about this and not repeating apologies to every review if not you see the stars dropping quickly.

I was there on 16 June after gearing about through Instagram and TikTok. The atmosphere is great. Just by the beachside. It was humid so the breeze kind of helped. But overall the service was super slow. We had to wait almost 1 hour for our food to be served. The food itself was not fantastic. Although the service people were kind, they were not fast enough to clear the tables. So we sat at a table that still had half finished food, left over scrap and tissue. Yucks! If you just want a nice unique ambience, it's nice to visit this place. However, food wise is not that great. Plus, they did not have any vegetarian options at all and they were not accommodating to help make a vegetarian version either.

Lots of seats available. Different area has different interior designs. Love the greenery and the atmosphere. Love the outdoor bar concept that can enjoy the sea breeze and the DJ at the same time. Standard drinks, for a whole bottle price is about the same as other places. Have main courses and also side dishes menu. No minimum order for having a table and to go in. No tickets required too. Easily accessible and same for calling grab.

HW Livehouse Batam is undeniably one of the more adventurous nightlife spots in the city. The atmosphere is vibrant, the music is loud, and the crowd is always ready to party. The lighting and sound system do a great job of creating a thrilling environment, and for those who enjoy an energetic, adventurous night out, HW Livehouse certainly knows how to deliver that vibe. However, the experience was overshadowed by poor management of reservations. I had booked a sofa in advance and even called to confirm that I was on the way, yet upon arrival my booking had already been released. This was frustrating and disappointing, especially for a venue that aims to be one of Batam’s premium nightlife destinations. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. Instead of the manager stepping in to resolve the matter, it was left to the front staff to deal with. The staff did their best under the circumstances, but it was clear the manager lacked the courage and responsibility to handle guests directly. For a place of this scale, leadership and accountability are key — and in this case, it fell short. Despite the setback, the party atmosphere was lively, the music and performances kept the energy high, and the night still had enjoyable moments. Yet, the lack of professionalism in reservation management and the manager’s unwillingness to take responsibility left a negative impression. Overall, HW Livehouse Batam earns 3 stars from me: great party energy and adventurous vibes, but disappointing reservation handling and weak management that need serious improvement.

TBH, I didn't try much food but the ones that I tried were quite mediocre. But vibe of the place is really awesome. Easily one of, if not the top 3 clubs in Batam. Note that this is compared to other clubs. The band, the DJs, dancers, staff, waiters, security are super friendly, helpful and awesome.

Min spend of 1 million rupiah for a table of 4 and you cannot bring water in. Was my second time here. Great music, great staff (all the way from the receptionist to the bouncers to the cleaners and the waiters!!) food was good as well. Bar was very clean. Definitely pricier compared to other areas in Batam for the drinks and food, but the service and atmosphere was worth it. Enjoyed my time here. My friends and I have made it a point to visit here every time we come to Batam now.

I came here with my son. This place is truly awesome. I had great fun. Only one thing not good is that they have two water cannons and the diving platform, and there is one guy shooting it around the pool, but he doesn't allow my son to play with it. Kind of disappointing. Otherwise the fun would be great.

This was my first visit to Eska Spa, and it was a fantastic experience. I opted for their Smoothie treatment for my hair, priced at RP 360,000, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the entire facility was impressively clean and well-maintained. We visited on the afternoon of Sunday, December 15, 2024, when it was less crowded, which added to the relaxing experience.

Took 120mins of foot massage and Lina was amazing, it showed in her skills from her experience. I was really able to relax under her care. Thank you Eska Nagoya for your swift action and service handled professionally! Additionally, a great mention of Ibrahim who was my husband’s therapist. He was consistent and made sure he applied the right pressure for my husband. Highly recommend Ibrahim & Lina! Looking forward to visit Eska Nagoya again!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with the foot scrub massage service! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. I would like to recommend Dini, the therapist who provided the service. Always, look for her. I also had the famous Trio Package (traditional, aromatherapy and body scrub) and it was a great relaxation. One of the most popular spots in Batam, usually packed, but I got lucky and it wasn’t too crowded when I went. The breezy vibe really adds to the chill atmosphere. They’ve got a live band playing every Friday and Saturday from 7pm onwards, which makes it a great place to unwind and soak in the mood.

I brought my 3-year-old here for a swim and hoping to relax. The atmosphere by the pool was great, especially with the unique pink sand area and a live band in the evening. However, I feel there are some key areas for improvement. The food was underwhelming—it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. My biggest complaint, however, is with the shower facilities. They were poorly maintained, smelly, and completely lacked ventilation, which made them uncomfortable to use. I hope they will consider improving these facilities to match the otherwise nice ambiance of the area.

We took a half hour ride to this place expecting a great experience but were sadly disappointed. While the atmosphere was pleasant and service staff were trying their best this place definitely does not deserve 4 stars. The service was slow, the orders were wrong, the food did not look like the pictures in the menu and portions were very small and unappetizing. The steak I had was a small puck and tasted processed, fries and veg you could literally count with your fingers, definitely not worth the money paid for it. I’ve had much better steaks in coffee shops. If you want just to enjoy the atmosphere and have a few drinks you can consider but definitely not for the food. It’s too far to go from Batam City to be underwhelmed.

Portions were disappointingly small. The salmon was decent, but it was just a tiny piece with two bits of veg. The soup wasn’t great, canned soup would’ve tasted better. The pasta and mac & cheese were strange too. We couldn’t even finish more than two bites.. The best thing we had was the wedges. The ambience is nice, but if you’re planning to visit, be prepared for a long wait and consider skipping the Western dishes to avoid disappointment.

Ordering’s done by scanning a QR code, but the app feels like it’s still being worked on—kinda clunky. All in all, Alio’s a solid pick if you wanna hang out by the beach with good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth checking out for a fun, casual night!

Place is really great and the surroundings are also great , with a really bad taste of food that honestly even a non-cooking person can cook. So , my first highlight is oftentimes the food. It is really bad , not terrible , but bad. Ordered a mushroom carbonara pasta and what i got is a sad cream pasta. The mushroom isn't even champignons, it's a shitake/matsutake , which is chewy and not at all complementary with the pasta. The cream is...creamy , and does not have any aroma or tastes at all , it's completely bland. Drinks are fine tho , no complain. Service , it's pretty simple , you order at cashier and pay , then you bring the table number to your seat and the waiters will send you the order as soon as it's ready. Sometimes it's a bit messed up , since i heard they mistaken other table number as our table number , but they didn't serve it so it's fine. The place , it is literally on the beach , at a reclamation area. You can see a slight sliver of light from singapore and malaysia from here. The beachfront area is not really big like Bali , but it's a pretty good view based on areas around Batam. Wind is pretty strong in evening, so air conditioning is not necessary, and also they only open at 3 PM onwards , so harsh sunlight isn't going to be a problem. Parking space are big , but the overall place itself is pretty far from civilization, it's hard to order gojek/grab from this place. Overall , will only buy drinks if want to hangout here again later on.

The ambience of this place was TOO FAB. Almost felt like a posh place in Goa. The fairy lights at the beach and the live music created such a nice vibe. The food though was quite mediocre. There was no vegetarian dish so I asked them to modify their Nasi Goreng minus the meat and it was not only dry but also not filling. Though I must say, their mango tea and vanilla drink were really refreshing and the fried enoki was superb too. I also wish that their payment system was a little more convenient; we could order only at their reception kinda area and they don’t accept Visa card. I would suggest this place only as a place to vibe and chill with friends, perhaps with drinks and snacks, but definitely not for dinner or a meal.

The foods and place is great, and the staff/waiter is friendly. Once i want to pray they kindly pointed to the back. Reccommended if you want a new environment in the middle of town. It's like a modern restaurant/pub/cafe hangout just like big cities, but this one is in Batam.

We enjoyed our Saturday night there over a few drinks and live band music till midnight. We spent near half an hour looking for a taxi and even Uber and Grab but couldn’t find one. In our frustration we approached the cafe’s staff who were so kind that he offered to drive us back to our hotel. It was indeed a kind gesture and the staff were really friendly:)

The buffalo wings here are so good! It has a mixture of both sweet and spicy and salty which js so flavorful, I ordered from gojek so it was a bit cold but otherwise if I ever ate at the real restaurant it would definitely taste better. I also ordered the classic gyudon bowl, It was alright tasted like an normal gyudon bowl but the meat was actually so good! Apple ice tea wasn’t sweet but I don’t know if that is the actual flavor beacuse usually it’s sweet but if it is the flavor by itself it was refreshing to drink. Horrible location, i was mislead into believeing a local guide wanted to go iut with a tourist, unbeknownst to me, this was simply so i could pay for his several drinks(so many so that he passed out on the couch). I didnt have a single drink at the club. Upon refusing to pay for his copies amount of drinks, I was attacked by the club staff. I'm a 6ft 200lb, athletic guy, im no trained MMA fighter, but I can handle myself. Upon surrounding me and taking me down, some fake cop comes in handcuffs me, and forced me to pay this guy's bill. Needless to say I would not recommend this location. On top of all that it was rat city.

We had a great time with a great band. The lead male singer Wega who looks like a huggable labubu was really friendly. The waiter Mr Lee and waitress Pian was full of live and dancing with the songs creating a wonderful atmosphere.
