There was a waiting line at 6pm on a weekday but looks like you can reserve if you call ahead. We were seated by the counter, the front of house staff was super friendly and the food was cooked quickly and tasted amazing!
We requested the chicken to be cooked through a bit more than normal. If you enjoy that chargrilled flavor with a bit of different texture ranging from crispy to chewy and downright chicken-ey goodness, and don't mind a bit of raw/pink flesh (safe to eat in Japan), you need to try this dish. It'll blow your mind.
We also had the grilled wings and chicken pilaf which were excellent as well. Definitely felt like we got an authentic experience during our short stop in Miyazaki.
The prices are also super reasonable for the portion and quality you get. The staff don't rush you, very enjoyable experience!

Maybe I’m not yet ready for chicken sashimi. XD

As we didn’t have any reservation we had to wait almost an hour to be seated. However it was worth the wait as the food, service and ambience were exceptional. We had the wagyu, bonito, oysters, potato, chicken nanban (which we didn’t fancy) and beer, all for under JPY 9000. Having a counter seat and full view of the flames dancing right before us added to the wow factor.
For those who drive, there’s a public carpark right in front that charges JPY100 for 50 min.

Came here after reading reviews. Not sure if the main branch would be better but in general the taste here was average.
The main star is supposed to be the charcoal grilled chicken but i felt that this place the chicken was a bit lacking, not enough 'smoke' taste and a bit salty.
Tried the chicken nanaban and hiyajiru as per the reviews but I would say give it a pass. The nanban tasted average with tartar sauce that reminds me of McDonald's filet-o-fish. Hiyajiru is only for ppl that like fish plus cucumber.
The service in general maybe because we went an hour before closing it seemed like they were rushing us and didn't provide cold water.
Conclusion don't try this branch.
