I booked a reservation at Sone based on a recommendation in a Japan travel (Lonely Planet) guide. We enjoyed the jazz club atmosphere, friendliness of the staff, and professionalism and skill of the musicians. Atmosphere is top notch. Service was great. Food was tasty, but somewhat expensive for getting so little. My recommendation would be eat some appetizers, order some drinks, and enjoy the music. Then, eat dinner elsewhere. Highly recommend.

I was visiting Kobe and on a whim, walked into Sone. I was so glad I did, because my whole experience there was wonderful, delightful, and complete magic! The staff was so welcoming and nice. The food was absolutely incredible (Get the "Sone Set" with Japanese beef Sirloin and you will be in heaven, your tastebuds with thank you) and the live band and singer were so lovely! I am American, and a huge fan of jazz standards, and the atmosphere this place created was on a superior level. Such artistry on display! One of the oldest jazz bars/restaurants in Kobe and a must visit for any lover of good times, music, and food. I will most definitely be visiting again in the future.

Sone is the oldest jazz bar in Kobe I was told. Our group stopped by for a drink and live jazz. I beleive there was a cover charge to enter per person. The cocktail was nice as well as the music. The only downside is they close at 11pm.

I’ve been to this place many times and I always come back because I enjoy their seasonal craft beers and their consistently good customer service. When I decided to have my friend’s birthday party there, I wasn’t 100% sure if it was the right place because my group don’t drink a lot. But the high standard of customer service we received blew me away. They not only agreed to receive the cake and refrigerate it for us in advance, on the day they went over and beyond by setting up the timing of everything from the cake coming out to taking it away and cutting it in perfect equal pieces for everyone. They even offered to take a picture of our group before we asked them. The great service we received on that night made it one of the most memorable birthdays I have planned and has definitely made me one of their loyal customers.

If you find yourself on the eastern side of Sannomiya Station and you are craving some craft beer, "In Tha Door" will meet your needs. The whole food hall was clean though. We quickly ate and went to the aquarium.

The Mojomojo Burger was definitely not worth it. For 5,500 yen, they served me a well-done patty that was so tough and chewy it was hard to enjoy — honestly, even McDonald’s might have been better. The food court was also frustrating, as many tables were reserved for others, making it hard to find a place to sit.

It seems like it must be a big deal though i like it (Original) 駅から徒歩1分なのに入りにくい 年齢不詳の頭がボールドなマスターが毎晩7時から開店するカウンターのみのお店 不思議なバーです 毎日メニューをマスターが紙に書いて貼る 大した違いないみたいだけど 僕は好きです
