Definitely our highlight of Phu Quoc, Rory and his wife are the most welcoming and friendly hosts! The sea water pool is amazing and we were able to learn a lot of the island‘s history when chatting with Rory. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to play minigolf but the course looks really nice. We definitely recommend this place and if we came back on the island, we would stay here for sure. Paradise on earth!

Rory’s bar is an awesome spot, Aussie owner, very chilled atmosphere! Rory the owner was very hospitable, came and introduced himself not long after we arrived. Rory has an interesting insight into Phu Quoc’s background and his 15yrs of business up until today on the island. Cool seawater pool filled with fish and starfish. All the staff were welcoming and knew what they were doing, tap beer, quality food. 👌 Not to mention, putt putt golf, pool table, shuttlecock and quality music. Best spot I’ve found on the island 😎

Great place to sit down and relax, have a drink, grab a bite and maybe play some mini golf or pool ! Great view on the ocean with good music. My stop there was just perfect and I really enjoyed my afternoon. Too bad I only went once and won’t have the chance to go again. We've just visited the place to have some food and drinks- it was great! Delicious meal, good beer choice, a lot to do e.g. minigolf, pool, shuffleboard. And Rory is a great host, Interesting to talk to and helpful in need. A "must visit" spot on this side of phu quoc!

Never would have expected a bar like this on a Vietnam island - highly professional and more than well trained bartenders, amazing atmosphere, top ingredients, stop searching for the best drinks, you get them here. We’re big cocktail lovers and are always searching for good bars when going on travels, but this was a very unexpected surprise, especially regarding the extremely nice and highly skilled staff that could keep up with top bars all over the world. This bar only has one fault - it’s not located at my hometown. I love it!

Bittersweet Chocolate & Cocktail Bar is a very fun spot in Phu Quoc, Vietnam to grab a drink. It’s a speakeasy bar located behind a chocolate shop. Inside, the atmosphere is sophisticated and intimate. It’s a nice spot to enjoy a drink after dinner The bartenders Teebi, Casper, and Jay were incredible and fun to talk to. They crafted delicious cocktails tailored to our flavor preferences— they were really fresh ingredients and lots of creativity behind the drinks. Many of the drinks came with a chocolate garnish, which was fun because we got to try the chocolates —we enjoyed them so much we bought a bunch home as souvenirs for friends and family. We got to play a little Halloween game with the staff and other guests that night, guessing how many pumpkins were on display behind the bar. Overall, the cocktails were high quality, the vibes were great, and the bartenders were outstanding. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Phu Quoc— and you should try their chocolates!

We booked the 10:00 PM fire show, with an entry fee of 80K. Food and alcoholic drinks are charged separately. We arrived around 9:30 PM and found that most of the beach seating was already taken. Thankfully, we still managed to get a spot on the sand — others were starting to be directed to the high stools off to the side. Do note that food here is pricier than the drinks, and it’s best not to come with high expectations for the food quality. Occasionally, a whiff of sewage from the seaside drifts by, which was a major downside to the experience. The atmosphere is lively and chill — sipping drinks while sitting on the beach is a great way to unwind. However, be prepared that people around you may be openly smoking. Bean bag seats are limited, so if you’re hoping to get a good beach spot, be sure to arrive early. The fire show starts promptly at 10:00 PM. There might be a bit of waiting around beforehand, but the performance itself is truly impressive — though it only lasts around 7–8 minutes, it’s absolutely worth seeing. One tip: once the show ends, everyone rushes to book a Grab, so plan your transport ahead to avoid the scramble.

I didn’t get to catch the fire show since I turn in early these days, but I’m sure it’s incredible. Just a heads-up: I think there might be an entrance fee if you arrive later for the show. I came before sunset and got in with no admission. By the way, it gets really packed after 9 PM, so if you want a good seat with a view, definitely come early! We had shisha, fresh and cocktails!

We came straight to Ocsen to unwind after a fantastic day exploring the island. Earlier, we had booked an incredible tour with the Moto Nomad team, led by Marc. After spending hours on a bike seeing the hidden gems and local life, we were ready for pure relaxation. Ocsen provided just that. The vibe is immediately welcoming and incredibly chilled, with bean bags and comfortable seating spread across the sand, right up to the water's edge. We ordered a couple of cold, refreshing cocktails (their mojitos are killer!) and found a perfect spot. As the sun began to dip towards the horizon, painting the sky in fiery oranges and pinks, the atmosphere became magical. It was the absolute perfect end to the day. The service was fast and friendly, and the music was subtle enough to allow for conversation while still creating a cool, beach club feel. Whether you’re recovering from an adrenaline-filled day (like us!) or just seeking a beautiful spot for an evening drink, Ocsen is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Amazing food at Grandma's Kitchen! Was looking for a vegetarian option and they did not disappoint. The Stir Fry Veg and sticky rice was absolutely delicious and so filling! Had a great Mojito with my meal as well and the service was so friendly

A very nice, well-kept, and welcoming place. The atmosphere is traditional, and you don't feel like you're in a tourist restaurant like most nearby restaurants. The dishes are all homemade, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. We had some delicious fried shrimp, and then we tried the braised beef with rice and egg—a truly delicate and special dish. But are also other different dishes well prepared. I suggest to take a dessert, are delicious!

Stopped in for lunch, wow. Delicious dishes at good prices. Flavors were so good. Daily specials and a regular menu, we ordered one each, left stuffed and happy. Family run restaurant, service was excellent. This is a must try spot on Pu Quoc, seriously.

The food here is truly amazing. I particularly enjoyed the banh khot, grilled pork platter, and the meat with egg. I have lived in Vietnam for over 10 years and this is definitely some of the best Vietnamese food I have eaten. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed. I would recommend to anyone but particularly people who are new to Vietnamese cuisine. They have very palatable wine too, which isn’t always the case in a Vietnamese restaurant. (That sealed the deal for me!!!)

Great atmosphere with lots of beautiful lanterns. I had the green mango a prawn salad (which needed a little more spice for my taste) and my husband had the Vietnamese pancakes (which he loved-his favourite spot todate). We loved it so much we went back. My husband had the whole fish (which was very fresh and he said it was the best fish he’d ever had) and I tried the Vietnamese pancakes with shrimp (no pork). Which was fab! The mojitos are amazing Go here and try! We really very much enjoyed this amazing little restaurant with all its colour and great menu! Thanks to the lovely people who work there and to the owners. A real credit to them.

Was looking for a place to watch the football final, and was recommended this place. First of all, no ambiance, which is what was expected for this event, could hardly find a seat, and staff didn't help although they clearly saw me standing and looking for a place to sit. They got several areas, one was displaying the game, while another was having karaoke or a singer, in any case something loud and out of place that night. I ordered the burger that was recommended to me by the staff, the one with Jalapenos. Couldn't feel any jalapeno, wondering if there was any, it wasn't spicy at all, and the burger itself was fine but average and not worth the extra price. Fries were amazing, as it's difficult to find good ones around, that's the one single reason to visit that place. Also some of the decorations can be offensive and have nothing to do in a leisure place, not helping to create a good relaxed ambiance.

The music is great, and if you’re up for some games, you can play darts and pool. The crowd is friendly, making it easy to meet new people and enjoy a fantastic night out. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Another big plus is that they accept card payments with only a 3% charge, which is quite rare in Vietnam. We got ours from Moto Nomad Phu Quoc, and it was easily the best decision we made. The bike was powerful, comfortable, and totally reliable, which makes a huge difference when you're riding around the entire island. Don't rely on taxis; rent a quality bike from Moto Nomad, hit the road, and make sure you end your day right here for the spectacular view! 10/10 experience!

The café is located high above the town, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley below. Watching the sunset from there while sipping on a warm cup of coffee felt absolutely magical. By far my favorite restaurant on Phu Quoc. The view of the city is incredible. Large range of traditional Vietnamese food done well. Excellent cocktail range. Very friendly staff. I loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Phu Quoc. We ate the Vietnamese pancake, seafood rice, chicken, our daughter got ice cream and a few cocktails each.

Best place in Phu Quoc to have a drink with an incredible view of the city, the mountains and the ocean. They have some nice cocktails, beer or sodas and food. I tried the mushroom Banh mi and it was delicious. The place was calm and quiet, it was relaxing to just chill out on the terrace. It’s a must if you are in the area.

The staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful, and kind, especially Hoàng and Huỳnh , whose hospitality greatly enhanced our overall experience. The venue offers numerous picturesque corners, ideal for photography enthusiasts. Guests can fully enjoy the beachfront, accompanied by attentive service. The breakfast buffet featured a wide variety of delicious options that catered to diverse tastes. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning with more friends to relive the experience and explore even more of what this wonderful place has to offer

My visit to Chuon Chuon Bistro & Bar was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried spring rolls and the grilled pork rice plate. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And the Vietnamese coffee was a highlight, it was perfect! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a lovely atmosphere.

saw this place on Tiktok and decided to visit for sunset. Bought the tickets at the gate for 90,000 dong per person. Honestly I was disappointed as there was nothing else apart from the structures. It’s mentioned as a beach club but the beach is not clean and it does not qualify to be a beach club. Bean bags provided are dirty. A lot of tourists came just for the pictures with the structures ( trust me there was nothing special about them). Sunset was nice and drinks were decently priced. They have a restaurant as well but we did not try that. DJ was playing loud dancing music during sunset which did not go with the vibe. Overall for me you can skip this place to see a better sunset at some other place. People only come here to click pictures with all the structures.

A very suitable place to spend time with your loved ones..although it is a little bit far from main city but once you reach here ..you will love the place.. There are many photogenic places in this area...food is good..you can book room in it's resort as well.. Keep ready your camera before going here....

It might be nicer during the high season, but at the beginning of November the beach club is not operating and you can actually see that it have seen better days. There is an entrance fee to get to the beach.

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Sunset Sanato Resort and Villas. The resort's location is a true gem; the sunset views from their beach are simply the most spectacular you will find on Phu Quoc. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the culinary experience was a highlight. The hand-made pizzas were a delightful treat, and the daily-changing buffet breakfast was consistently fresh and delicious, offering something new to enjoy each morning. What truly made our trip special was the incredible staff. They were genuinely warm and attentive, taking excellent care of our family throughout our entire stay. A special mention and immense gratitude go to Mr. Cuong, the resort manager. His dedication, professionalism, and personal touch made all the difference. He ensured every detail was perfect for our family, and his leadership is clearly reflected in the high-quality service of his team.

Oh, what a delightful experience… if you enjoy paying 90,000 VND pP just to see a beach completely overwhelmed with trash. The entire facility seems to have been left to fend for itself—utterly neglected and poorly maintained. Some areas were genuinely unpleasant, but hey, I’m sure someone finds that “charmingly rustic.” Service was good and friendly.

Stayed 5 days, had wonderful time and got a surprise offer for one who has a birthday. All of us happy to be here. Lovely to see sea view and take a walk around sea.

Sitting outdoors, sipping a drink, and watching the sun melt into the sea was one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommended if you're in Phu Quoc!

Visited the rooftop bar at the InterContinental Phu Quoc with a reserved table through the hotel, which proved to be the perfect spot for sunset views over the ocean. It wasn’t too busy during our visit, so we easily settled in without waiting. The design and attention to detail is impressive, though you’ll want to watch the tentacles on the tables!

Take a car / bike up if climbing uphill isn't your strength but this hidden gem is a must visit. It's only open 2 days a week and has the best music in Phu Quoc. Owner Dennis was such a lovely gentleman who single handedly runs this inconspicuous bar. We really loved how clean, and beautiful the furniture was but more importantly, a delicious Long Island Iced Tea. Apparently this is the place to be for after parties and we were early but we had a wonderful time that no one wanted to leave. Should have taken more pictures on hindsight but c'est la vie. Guests were kind and friendly, a very unpretentious place to just chill and listen to good music. Cash only.

I recently visited Happy Buddha Club, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere. The club is located in the hills of Phu Quoc, and it’s like a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Despite its remote location, the club is quite popular among foreigners, and it’s not hard to see why. The music is definitely a highlight of the club, with the resident DJ playing underground electronic dance music that’s sure to get you moving. The drinks are also quite good, and there’s a wide range of options to choose from. However, it’s worth noting that the club can be quite dark inside, which may not be to everyone’s liking. Additionally, since it’s an open venue, it can get quite hot inside, especially during the summer months. Overall, I would still highly recommend Happy Buddha Club to anyone looking for a fun night out in Phu Quoc. It’s definitely worth checking out!

We included 4 people, my friends and I, we came at 9:30PM, it was early and only some customers there including us. We chatted and really enjoyed music, cocktail and Corona. But life was not easy, and the bar welcomed a group of local residents (i mean VNese) around 10pm. They ordered so many foods and drinks and requested the bar for VNese music....haizzz. This kind of music lasted long until I could not stand and whispered to the waitress.... We came back to hotel right after that. In fact, if I were the owner, I will do so, serve the customers, especially a crowded group. Maybe I was not lucky that time. But I still love this bar. I recommend to enjoy there with friends. I love sky bar always.

Needless to say I didn't buy one, engaged the locals in the art of conversation while I stalled the waitress, the local Jack of All Trades told me he knew Mary Jane but was oblivious to my advances. I might as well have been asking the dog on the street. Plus 1 star for the adventure, but unless you're after extortionate booze and 90's pop then I would give this one a miss.

Never been there but the bad taste music of this bar is incredibly loud and can be heard in a large radius. Absolutely anoying and disrespectful to guests of hotels nearby.

Came here for breakfast this morning and was less than pleased. Service was shit. The staff look at you like you don’t belong there. Food was mediocre and ridiculously over priced. Would not recommend! There’s a sign on the table saying that their portions are a big size - complete crap. Paying over 200k VND for simple eggs and toast is absurd - and who serves fries with breakfast? I understand people come here the view but there are so many other options in the area and way better service. Don’t waste your time and money.

Sailing Club Phu Quoc is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the beach-club atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly, always making sure every guest is comfortable and taken care of. The property is very clean, from the pool area to the seating by the sea. The pool and beachfront areas are perfect for lounging during the day, and the vibrant fire shows in the evening create a memorable atmosphere. It can get busy at peak times, which just shows how popular the place is, but the staff handle it smoothly and keep everything organized. Whether you’re here to hang out by the pool or along the sea, it’s an excellent spot for both relaxation and entertainment.

Wonderful bar with a great pool and happy hour 3-6 and 8-10). Spent many days watching the sunset and enjoying the weather. The cauliflower burger and ceviche are really good. Happy hour drinks are great and there is a fire show every night at 8.

Great spot, one the best beach clubs / pool / food spots in the area especially during the day. We wasn’t staying at the hotel and visited just for one day. Got beach front beds for 3-4 hours then moved to the pool side. No entry fee just 350,000 minimum spend per person. Well worth visiting!

The scenery is so beautiful and calm, loved it. I probably missed European style cuisine that much that the chicken mango salad with mustard sauce (it was called chicken avocado smh) tasted simply DIVINE. They have happy hours from 3 pm till 5pm as well (1+1 for some of the drinks like cocktails , mocktails, juices). You would spend at least 400 000k VND here but it is well worth the price. The service is bad though. Have to remind to bring your order.

The Cheeky Traveller is the best entertainment venue in Phu Quoc, hands down. Exactly as it says on the tin, it’s the English pub you’ve all missed in the uk since the smoking ban. With awesome bands and entertainment every night and such impeccable service that you’ll never even need to que or visit the bar until it’s to pay and go home. The staff at the cheeky are so friendly you’ll all feel like family, even on your first visit. The musicians in all the bands are so passionate you’ll feel like you’re at an event or gig featuring real stars. That aside, the team behind the bar, Ken, Kim, Bo, Dia and Khanh are the real stars of the show and do their upmost to accommodate everyone’s needs and even make introductions between you and people they know you’ll click with. This review is based on my first visit to Phu Quoc and after spending time there, I never wanted to leave and I guarantee you won’t either. As a singer I didn’t feel comfortable stepping in to sing at another bands gig without being invited but all the staff and the band members love anyone singing with them. I haven't felt so at home in a pub for years.

Wonderful bar! I went three nights in a row. Absolutely loved the staff and was able to make friends as well with others there! Can't recommend it enough if you like good vibes, live music, and a friendly atmosphere! All the food is amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced as well! I was so inspired by the duck tacos that I had to stop and post a review! The shots are very good if you like creamy and sweet. Great variety in that department ~

Awesome beach bar, lovely relaxed vibe! Chilled, great music, really pretty at night. Great cocktails too. Not cheap (cocktails around 180k) but they are delicious, definitely world it, you pay for what you get. Recently renovated so facilities good too, new. Would definitely return here.

The place is nice and trendy. Cocktails and food are expensive. The food was too spicy and we didn't have enough for our money. Maybe this trendy place correspond to the needs of some people but it's really not for a family and certainly not typical, it's only for trendy foreigners.

The best bar we've been to in Phu quoc, we've been here three times! They have really good gin and tonics as well as craft beer. The only issue was once when all the staff was more busy watching the fire show than taking us the order, but it happens.

We had a visit here the morning before going back so Saigon. This is our favorite coffee shop when we go to another city. If it’s there, then we’ll try it out. They have the back yard seats, viewing sea like in the photos. The coffee is quite good, not excellent. They only have one staff here when we came. I think it’s because of low rate customers. It is ok to have a drink in here as not a lot of good options for coffee shops in Phu Quoc. Look different from the photo as the space is small and a little bit look not stunning and beautiful. But overall it is near to the beach with different kinds of drinks and not pricey can satisfy you when you get bored and need to find some coffee shops to go in this island.

Nice staff, good Vietnamese coffee and cute cakes. No alcohol keeps the age of the avarage visitor down, and for the first hour we were the oldest people, but the atmosphere is nice and quiet and the decorations make a cozy platform towards the beach.

Cozy restaurant, drinks and cakes are not expensive. They have a backyard, you can lay on the sofa to enjoy the sea view and sea breeze there. It’s very relaxing.

I went there at sunset to sit on the beach with a couple of fresh beer crudets. It was good, the waiters took the order and brought the drinks quickly, there was nice music playing, it was a very calm atmosphere. They have a very interesting bar menu, but I did not try the cocktails, as I am not a favorite of these drinks.

Wonderful experience and great location for the sunset. I’m not really sure if all the reserved tables were used at sunset. They should let guest who turn up early be the first to sit in those locations. I suspect they hold the tables on the chance bigger groups turn up. We enjoyed the live music and cocktail offerings.

Nice bar by the beach, spent new year's eve there, best beach party around after checking all nearby places, and great sunset anyway. However, outside specific occasions, it's overly loud, pretty expensive for what it is, food selection could be improved, the sand beach area is narrow and doesn't leave any space to lay down and even less put a towel. Good for a single party visit, not so much for a longer stay.

Looking for a beach with a beautiful quiet(not many visitor) beach and a chilling bar, this place is your choice. The place is quite big but well maintained. I have to give a high raise for this bar because of their price which is very reasonable and not much expensive as the others around. Just one thing should be improve to make this bar being the best on the island is the music.

View of the ocean is beautiful here. Came prior to dinner during sunset for drinks at their beach bar—the watermelon vodka drink was delicious, it’s served in a real watermelon too! Then we moved over to the restaurant side and had dinner, huge group of 60 ppl—we got to sit outside by the water. There was a pre-fixe menu for the group—overall the food was okay.

This place is quite lovely. Although it's still in construction, it's very clean and modern. The staff is attentive without being bothersome. The beach is also spotless. The parking is free and there are staff there to watch your bikes. I wasn't there during the evening, but appears they have a beach fire area. All in all, very very nice.

Good relaxing restaurant vibe near to a clean and well managed beach. Prices are relatively affordable for majority. Family are taking a rest and stop so only drinks and snack are sampled. Very courteous and spontaneous service staff observed. Would recommend here for a simple quiet afternoon chill out session. I was looking forward to try a couple dishes from the menu when I made the reservation. But when I got there for New Year’s Eve there was a set menu. I wish they would have told me when I made the reservation but I understand New Years is crazy and they were trying to control it with a set menu. But still would of been better if they had gave me a heads up when I made the reservation. Food was good. But two things stopped me from giving it 4 or 5 stars. I ordered a bottle of wine and it didn’t come out till I was almost done with the 3rd course. I don’t mind paying good money for a good meal but I expect the service to be there. It wasn’t on this. Second thing that was a bummer is the main course that was steak came out cold. It was as if they prepared a bunch of steak for a buffet instead of individuals. The quality of the meat was really good but it was cold like it had been sitting out there for awhile. I would want to try this place again when it’s not a set menu and is catered to every individual order. There was a lot of great stuff but those two things tarnished the experience and made my meal just so so.

Just off the main road, this place can get a bit noisy, both from passing traffic and from other nearby restaurants playing very loud music. The tapas didn't really impress, although the patata bravas sauce was very good. The patata bravas were a bit too soft, the croquettes were too fishy and not hot enough and the shrimp with garlic and chilli came in a strange "soup" rather than olive oil. Their bread basket was good though. The main courses were much better, with very tasty ribs with local flavours and minced lamb skewers in freshly made pita bread. The dessert was ok too.

Great place if you want to take a break from Vietnamese culture and cuisine and if you are looking for a beautiful location. This food is difficult to find on the island and it is quite good even if quite expensive compared to the average. What really makes the difference is the atmosphere.

We made a reservation for New year Eve with the hope having different tapas dishes. We got the confirmation without mentioning only Set Menu served until we got seated at the table. It was fine, we understand NYE is busy for the restaurant. A set menu costs ~ 1.6 million dong/ Pax. The appetizers were like whatever. What disappointed was the  main course ( Beef tenderloin ) which was cut before serving and colder than my ex’s heart cos the beef sat on the waiting table of the kitchen since I don’t know like a week ago. The sauce was blah and the potato was undercooked. The dessert was good. But for the price we paid, the main course we had and the service of asking the staff 3 times for our bottle of wine couldn’t win me.

The place is nice and cosy with English Speaking Environment but the Dessert and Coffee were pretty average compare to the price. Hope the owner will improve on the quality of the coffee and Barista. Overall they have a good Wine Selection on the Menu but the Display of Dessert and Drink were not up to standard.

An entertainment cum shopping complex development comprises a replica of Venetian buildings & business streets, a man-made canal with plying gondolas, a garden of modern sculptures, a bamboo architecture, a Teddy Bear Museum and a Vietnamese Cultural Village. Definitely a good place to take pictures and indulge in a Sub-Mediterranean atmosphere. There are many restaurants and bars around apart from numerous massage parlours luring passers-by which maybe annoying to some. There is a free shuttle service within this area of roughly 2km in radius every 30 minutes and there are also private shuttles for charter at a price including photo taking service. Great for a relaxing short trip.

Grand World is a vibrant and beautifully designed destination with so much to see and enjoy — from its charming architecture and lively streets to the lovely canal rides and colorful photo spots. There is a beautiful bamboo structure where you can click photos. The teddy bear museum is fun especially for kids.There are many juice stalls, n resturants serving various cuisines. There are some good brands that have their outlets there. One needs atleast 3 to 4 hours to roam around. We had a wonderful time exploring the area, but unfortunately, the rains cut our visit short and we had to head back earlier than planned. Would definitely love to return in better weather to experience more of what it has to offer.”

It looks glamorous on the surface, but it's only skin deep. On the up side the gondola rides are cheaper than Venice or Las Vegas. The place was dead during the day. Almost nothing was open and we didn't see more than a few dozen people walking around the whole site. It may come alive at night.

Visiting Grand World Phu Quoc was a mixed experience. The canal buildings and gondola ride are visually appealing, and the nightly light & fountain show at Sea Square is impressive. However, the area felt underwhelming at times, with empty shops and limited choices for food and souvenirs. The humidity made walking around less comfortable, especially in the afternoon. There are some nice spots for photos and a casual stroll. Worth visiting if you want a mix of entertainment and sightseeing, but manage your expectations.

It's just made for tourist not much value to it. People say right it's like a ghost town. But still it is liit in the evening so I think you ideally go around 5-6 PM and enjoy the ride if you can get the gandola ride or you can just walk and explore. There is a show around 6 pm which is a small show and a major show on love story around 9:30 PM.

Nice place, but nothing to do for more than 2-3 hours besides eating😜 lots of cafes and Indian restaurants are there (Jain food too). I found boat taxi very average, not value for money (if your wife insist just do a one way trip). Night 9.30 pm show was good. At the end of the area there is a nice and clean beach, must enjoy sunset there.

It's one of the bars that you must visit. The bartender, Chuyen, was really.. really wonderful bartender. He mixed a lot of good drinks that were not on the menu. Nice atmosphere with good Vibe ! We went twice in two nights. Had fun with drinks and chitchat with Chuyen. He mixed a very good bowl of Scorpion drink. Amazing ! For sure we will go there again if we come back to Phu Quoc. Recommend this bar if anyone likes or looks for nice drinks.

Great bar with delicious drinks just off of the night market. The place has about 9 tables with 2-4 seating, plus bar seating. There is a stage for performance area but we went quite early (7:30 or 8pm) so there wasn't anyone performing. Staff are very attentive and skilled at making cocktails. There is a pool table and fooseball table to enjoy with activities. Highly recommend.

Great bar close to the night market. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is pretty and fun. The music on a Sunday evening was to our liking, so we hung out for a few hours enjoying it, our cocktails and some games(pool table, table football and darts).

I came here in the early evening, classic soft soulful music in the background, and the bartender kept me company till he got busy. Loving the skillful making of the cocktails, and it's absolutely a gem. Then I am back the other night after 10 pm. It's vivid and so lively, they were busy and still keep up with the services, this is definitely a go to spot for my last 2 weeks of phu quoc. Try it you'll know. 👍🍸

We went here on a Tuesday night and it was quite empty. There were about 5 people tops maybe. I guess that’s fine because it was a weekday. The staff were nice but our drinks took quite a while to make which I found a bit odd considering the place was empty. I will say though, that the drinks were very good. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. We didn’t stay long.

Great place for sunset and sea view, the dinner was very good, we ordered a Angus Beef Steak (Flank steak) the portion is decent, perfectly cooked and delicious, also the pork ribs is a little over seasoned but still tastes good enough, oyster is fresh! Will visit again for next Phu Quoc trip

I tried the 'Winston choice' with bourbon mustard sauce. OMG, it's sensational as has everything: mushrooms, onions, bacon, cheese. All burgers come with lettuce, tomato and onion. Peppercorns coating on burger lovely kick, with bourbon sauce, the ingredients all come togetherness to explode in your mouth. Fries were good, too. Enjoyed a chilled tap rooster Blone draft beer. Well worth the 5-minute walk from the main shop area, if need a burger hit.

Very much enjoyed the Winston's Choice burger and chilli cheese fries. The burger was nicely meaty with a good char and the peppercorn crust gave it good seasoning. The bacon added salt and I added blue cheese sauce with gave a nice funky sour tang. They make their own buns in house which are light and nicely toasted. The home style fries were loaded with toppings which was a meal in itself. Superb meal.

A very nice and welcoming family works or owns this place. The food was delicious, especially the burger! 👌😍 I especially remember the owner's little boy. He's 2.5 years old, his name is Sin. He's a very handsome, sweet, and cheerful child. 🥹 My wife and I had a great time playing with him, he really lifted up our mood. 😅

Coal grilled, pink burgers, to perfection. Absolutely the best burger I've had in south east Asia. Great draft beers. Vintage backstreet boys on the stereo. What more could a man ever wish for.

Couple of the best burgers I’ve ever had, “the Best Bacon Burger Ever“ & “the Mexican” which I had with a peppercorn crusted beef patty. Highly recommend the burgers and the fries are also very good, nice and golden crispy edges done just right. The reason I marked down the atmosphere is a few of the tables are a bit small and the chairs are wooden, not comfortable and it’s a covered outdoor space, which can be a bit too warm. Otherwise, the food was wonderful.

At best this place is just average yet very expensive on all their menu items. Another overpriced restaurant in Phu Quoc gouging at the transient tourist trade. On a positive note, the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are flavoursome and delicious, though let down by the minuscule size and quantity - 5 tiny pieces for 89k. I also tried their Best Bacon Burger Ever which was a big disappointment and daresay a false claim with the name. The burger only contains 2x small pieces of Bacon and although the burger patty maybe made with 50% Bacon the taste is far from Bacon flavoured (just tasted the same as a normal patty). The burger will set you back 175k and doesn't even come with fries (they're extra at 40k for a tiny 150gm or 75k for 300gm). To enhance my burger I added extra cheese (which wasn't even melted properly) and sauteed mushrooms/onions. The mushrooms weren't even warm and tasted really bland and onions were only just cooked - they both certainly didn't seem to be sauteed at all. When they asked how my burger was I mentioned the fault with the mushrooms being a bit cold, and they were indifferent to my comment....as if they didn't really care. Just a smile was offered??? Overall the burger was a big disappointment and a very messy experience as it fell apart about halfway through. I found the service to be a bit overbearing and felt rushed to order something too. Though they did come across friendly and were OK with my dog coming inside. However their young child harassed her with his ride on toy adding to my less than relaxing experience). A small upside is that you can pay the bill with a credit card but this will incur a 2% fee. Being expensive and from my experience here, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I certainly won't be returning during my 30 scheduled days on the island. I wish I could add photos but Google Maps in their ludicrous, automated decision making block all my new reviews from the public when I review a place or business and add photos....where's the incentive to keep posting detailed reviews when all it does is create a major frustration.

Lovely Restaurant with Character Last night we visited this lovely restaurant for dinner and loved the experience. While the name and website suggest it's all burgers and beer, there is much more. We had great cocktails and a serve of very tasty crumbed chicken balls, coated in buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dipping sauce -amazing!! If you are into burgers and have a massive appetite, then this place is your heaven! Match them up with some local craft beers! The restaurant is now owned by a lovely Vietnamese lady who also acts as the bartender (and does a fantastic job!). She is assisted by family members who are extremely attentive to your every need. They even called us a taxi because it was raining!!! A great venue for a sumptuous lay back lunch or dinner. Highly recommended. Thanks from Roy & Julie

Best place to have dinner in my opinion!!! If you’re looking for fresh seafood with one of the best House Sauce you could ever be served with, Crab House will definitely satisfy that. Food was okay. Seafood might not be of the best quality in town, but they have their unique sauce that we love. So if you want something different, try this! Service is top notch. Kudos to Phuc for his very tentative and great serving to our table.

If we’re in Phu Quoc and haven’t been to Crab House yet, are we even really living—or just quietly existing without garlic butter? Walking into this place feels like getting a warm hug from Poseidon himself. The vibe screams “we take our seafood seriously, but we’ll still laugh at your plastic bib.” And trust us—we needed the bib. The King Crab showed up drenched in a sauce so divine, we briefly considered proposing. That Crab House Sauce doesn’t whisper flavor. It belts power ballads. With harmonies. We came in hungry and left spiritually fulfilled… and lightly buttered. The Cajun crawfish had us questioning our loyalty to shrimp. The garlic butter shrimp had us questioning everything else. Sure, prices lean upscale—but honestly, it felt like Poseidon himself plated our meal. Worth every shiny dong. If crustaceans had a celebrity icon, Crab House would be the Beyoncé of crab joints. We came. We cracked. We conquered. And we’d do it again without hesitation.

Phu Quoc night market is an attractive destination that you should not miss when traveling to the pearl island. Here you can "immerse" yourself in a culinary paradise, comfortably shop and eat in the bustling atmosphere. The market is a merger of Dinh Cau Night Market and the old Bach Dang Night Market, the most bustling and crowded entertainment, dining and shopping spot. The market lights up at 6pm every day (although many stalls are still open from 3pm), but from 8am onwards is the busiest time. If you arrive late at the night market and are worried about what time Phu Quoc night market opens, don't worry, the market doesn't close until midnight, around 11am, 12pm, depending on the number of tourists. If you go with a large group, you should buy a little of each dish and share it so you can enjoy all the delicious dishes.Food safety and hygiene at the market is always a concern for those with stomach problems, so remember to choose restaurants that look clean and tidy. Not always true but usually the restaurant that is crowded is good, you just go there to eat and it's ok. Before buying an item or eating something, remember to ask the seller for the price first, to avoid getting ripped off after eating or choosing to buy. At Phu Quoc night market as well as many markets in tourist destinations, there are often poor quality, fake, counterfeit goods… remember to choose carefully.

Phu Quoc's Biggest Night Market - Worth a Visit But Not Essential This bustling night market offers a typical yet enjoyable experience. While packed with seafood restaurants, avoid dishes displayed on ice as they're likely less fresh. Look for the unique water coconuts - harder to open but prized for their meat rather than just the juice. Several souvenir shops sell wooden items with optional name customization. A tempting chestnut stall fills the air with its aroma, though I didn't try it. While it's a solid night market experience, it doesn't stand out significantly from others in Southeast Asia. Worth visiting if you're nearby, but not a must-see if you've experienced similar markets elsewhere.

Definitely must go. Lots of food stalls, restaurants, and souvenirs. They pretty much sell all the same thing. Just a matter of who is willing to bargain for a sale. Outside of the market are plenty of restaurants, bars, massage parlors, and much shopping.

The massages are top-notch, with many well-executed options. The atmosphere is fantastic, capturing the essence of a lively night market. Highly recommended!

A must-visit spot in Phu Quoc! The night market is full of energy, colors, and delicious smells. You’ll find everything from fresh seafood to souvenirs and local snacks. I recommend trying the coconut ice cream — super refreshing in the hot weather. Prices are fair if you compare and ask nicely. Best time to go is after 7 PM when it gets lively but not too crowded yet. It’s not just for shopping — the whole vibe is fun. Music, lights, people… it feels like a festival every night. I visited both day and night, but night is where the real magic happens.

Visited this place to enjoy the isolated island surrounded by beautiful oceans. It takes 400K to take the boat to the island but it could be used as an equivalent amount voucher to have foods and drinks in the island. It was actually great location but the electronic club music inside and outside the bar was too loud. We even couldn't hear the sound of waves... Hotel should better consider more about the purpose of visitors who visit here. We are not here to scream and dance but to relax.

Review for Chill House by the Beach We absolutely loved our stay at Chill House by the Beach! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the peaceful Ông Lang beach, and the vibe of the house is exactly what the name promises: chill, cozy, and super welcoming. One of the best surprises? The host recommended Midori restaurant nearby, and they deliver the most amazing pizza straight to the house. Seriously, it was one of the best pizzas we’ve had in Vietnam — fresh ingredients, crispy thin crust, and still warm when it arrived. It was the perfect dinner after a lazy sunset swim. If you're looking for a laid-back stay near the beach with great local tips (and great pizza!), this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

The best about this place: 1. Reception girls. Always helpful, always very sweet. I simply loved them ❤️ 2. Unlimited drinking water. 3. Sunset. Not so good things: 1. The bed is very hard (Vietnamese style) 2. Toilet flush didn't work half the time (had to open the lid and adjust manually) 3. On my first night, some locals had a party on a concrete area right in front of my room, so obviously not so much "chilling". My lovely receptionist tried to stop it, but I felt bad as they were drinking a lot and could be unpredictable. 4. The location is in a local village, so nothing to get to on foot, and Grab bikes don't come there. 5. Sea view was disappointing because there were always people and boats around. Maybe I had too much expectation based on the photos. This concrete thing was 1 meter from my terrace so I couldn't even open curtains without someone staring at me. Many people used it to get into the water. But the worst thing was rubbish (plastic bags, beer cans, I even saw a pair of gloves etc) floating around. I understand this is not the hotel's fault, but all enjoyment of sitting on the terrace was simply ruined by the view of man made disrespect for this otherwise beautiful water. 6. Aircon was old and had 2 modes: on and off. Changing settings didn't work. 7. Old TV had no Netflix. Still, the staff was great 😊

If you're looking for 5 star hotel accommodations, this homestay is not for you. We stayed at Chill House 2. Our room was not fancy, but it was clean and had a small kitchenette with a fridge and 2 king size beds so our little family had room to prepare simple meals and "spread out" in between excursions around Phu Quoc. We had a clothes washer at our disposal just outside our door, and we were able to rent a motorbike during our stay for 135,000 vnd/day. I'm saving best for last...the best feature of our unit, was a shared patio (with a rinse shower) out of the back door of our unit, which was right on the ocean, facing the beautiful sunset every evening. The view from our room, on any given evening, was local fishing boats along with the local kids as well as tourists swimming and enjoying the water...all with the setting sun as a backdrop. There were stairs from our patio area down to the seawall (no beach) where we could enter the water and swim, and then rinse off and hang out with cocktails and snacks on our patio to watch the sunset. There are also plenty of awesome restaurants and shops nearby. We had a wonderful 5 days at Chill House. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The location of the apartment was very close to the ocean but the road leading to the apartment is very narrow and not central. We had problems finding a taxi or grab. When we first arrived, it was storming so water came through the doors and walls. Dripping into our living spaces. The staff provided us with towels but dropped the comment: In the rainy season it always rains like this. This comment made me think then why did the hotel not seal up the doors and walls when they know about the issue. It was a lot of water and even dripped inside when their was barely any rain. The structure of the building is very outdated. Due to the condition of the apartment, bugs and animals were able to get inside. The lizard was fine but there were so many bugs everywhere even after we sprayed insect repellent. They were inside the toilet, on the walls, on the curtains. We also had an ant infestation. We did not have warm or hot water and the toilet kept flushing back the things we have flushed down. The bed was very uncomfortable and smelled like pure pee. I sprayed perfume to make it better but it did not last long. Location: 6/10 Hotel: 2/10 Staff: 6/10

I would not recommend this homestay to any of my friend. To be honest, the price is quite high compare to the service and location. Many boats sailed outside our backyard so we can’t even feel free to open the curtain. We paid 800k VND/night while other homestay and hotels in Bai Truong that has a big pool and better view only cost around 500-600k/night. They don’t even prepare a comb in our room. I thought it is a must-have item for every hotel room? Not to mention the electricity is so bad. They cut off the electricity at least 1 time per day. And in the night, there was a bruhhhhh noise in our room which is super annoying. I don’t know where it came from, we don’t even plugged in the fridge. The receptionist only asked us if we would book any other services via them but no one is asking how our experience was. I feel so bad for suggesting my friend and her family to stay here before I experiencing it myself. Not a good experience at all!!! P/S: there are mosquitoes, cockroaches etc. in our room :) I didn’t kill them because this is their home. It is our mistake for taking it over.

I feel the warmth of home from here. Attentive staff, friendly neighbors, cute rooms with cheap prices and amenities. In particular, they offer customers better service prices than announced prices (motorcycles, tours, tickets ...), which hotels often charge higher prices.

Saigon Eatery is truly a memorable dining spot in Phu Quoc. The restaurant has a beautiful, modern yet cozy atmosphere. We ordered several dishes to try, and every single one was delicious and well-presented. I especially loved the grilled sourdough bread with truffle mushrooms — the texture was perfect, moist inside with a rich and flavorful sauce. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. If we ever return to Phu Quoc, Saigon Eatery will definitely be on our list again!

the food here hit the spot, and was a reasonable price! clean bathrooms w toilet paper. i really loved how they cooked their pork belly (not pictured), was v tender and flavorful. the sides of veggies were also fresh and had a refreshing dressing that paired v well w each other. all the other dishes were great as well! i recommend their chicken sandwich too. i believe they make all their bread and pastries in house!!! their cheesecake was a good “not too sweet” finisher. the staff are also attentive without hovering. the dishes came out one by one though, so i would definitely just plan to share everything w your table instead of individual plates!

We visited this restaurant on our last day in Phu Quoc after seeing good reviews — and it was a great choice. The space is beautifully designed with high ceilings, artisan touches, and lots of natural light. It felt calm and inviting. We had the soft-shell crab rice (a must-try!), fried squid, and cauliflower — all tasty and well-prepared. I also loved the orange espresso. Despite my caffeine and dairy sensitivity, it was smooth, dairy-free, and didn’t cause any discomfort. Friendly staff, great food, and relaxing vibes. Highly recommended!

It's a very nice restaurant that's probably easy to miss since it's located along a lot of restaurants. Great food and atmosphere. Not too crowded and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good. Amazing grill meat options. Good wine selections as well. Went there twice and was not disappointed. Keep it up and will visit again soon.

Hands down the best restaurant we went to in Phu Quoc. Best meal and really lovely staff. It’s a Japanese charcoal grill located in the city, the owners put so much thought into the place to make it hip and the menu to encapsulate the ingredients of Phu quoc with their interesting take. They are the same owners of the speakeasy bar next door, and started the evening with their “homemade” mint umeshu, at the recommendation of the lovely staff. They speak amazing English. We had their best seller to start- the grilled beef meltique striplion, boy ……. The dish melts in your mouth and was simply AMAZING - salivating as I write and think about it. We then had their skewer trio which had pork, chicken, beef, bacon, veggies and squid. The squid and pork was amazing. We then moved to the Australian strip loin but it could not compete with the first Japanese striploin we had. For sides we got a seared beef salad which was amazing and the crush cucumber which was refreshing and crunchy. The grilled abalone was also fresh, reasonably priced and very well seasoned. The gyoza cake with an extremely tasty sauce. Some misses included their chicken wings, beef udon - udon was too sweet, had to add soy and sake and some chili flakes to make it to our taste. We ended the mains with their signature ramen dish which was very interesting. For dessert we got the panna cotta which came in a customized cracked egg dish, and a nest saucer - great presentation. The panna cotta was topped with fresh fruits. Amazing night and highly recommend a visit

A romantic and relaxing place with nice music , the beautiful garden and colorful lights are perfect. Food are amazing, staffs are polite and really helpful.They have open kitchen, so you can see the chef while preparing your mouth watering meal . We ordered Grilled Galecian Octopus with potatoes and Fried baby squid in black tempura ink it was really good . For desert we had chocolate fondant and passion fruit mousse cake it was fantastic. They also have wide selections of drinks , from wines , cocktails, draft beers spirits and many more. If you guys wanted a relaxing night, with cool music, good food and ambiance try to visit Phufoc Courtyard .

All the dishes are very delicious. The aperitifs and sangria were also great and easy to drink. The paella takes a bit of time to make, so I recommend going when you can afford it.

Wow! What an amazing find in the night market. Nestled in between shuttered cafes and seafood restaurants, you'll find this gem of an eatery. The food is fantastic, and the service is friendly. We loved the tuna empanadas and garlic shrimp. But the star of the show was the scallops. They were amazing! Fresh and cooked to perfection in a savory sauce with a crispy bacon topping. Yum! Don't miss this place. And don't forget reservations. It's an intimate place with only a few tables, which adds to the charm.

We’ve been there 4 times and as always we were really pleased. You have good quality spanish food cooked by Andreu’s wife in front of you and amazing cocktails prepared by Andreu, all at a reasonable price. We had a platter of different tapas, a really nice bruschetta with mushroom, onion and manchego cheese, some salad and a dessert, all with a nice glass of spanish wine. Will come back and recommend it 100%

We had dinner at Cyen restaurant at the Salinda Resort. The setting by the pool was lovely, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. With such a promising ambiance, we thought we were in for a treat. The service was excellent, and the plating was fairly nice. However, the dishes we tried didn’t leave much of an impression. Perhaps it was just an off night, as we’ve heard from others that the food is usually quite good.

The food at Cyan was truly a Vietnamese culinary journey! Delicious, flavourful food, that will leave you wanting more. We were assisted by Linh for the evening who made our experience all the more memorable. Highly recommend!

A great romantic evening on the beach while enjoying BBQ seafood buffets. It is expensive but if it is for that special occasion then it is a must try. We have a blast especially the live music performed by the Manila Band. The drinks are exceptional and the five star service is a cherry on top. We couldn’t be happier to be there and share that special moment with everyone else. The perfect combination of the atmosphere, the lights, the decor, the view, and the beach.

In love with the updated look, so trendy and chic :) Food was amazing both taste and presentation-wise, highly recommend this place as the first introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. We’ve spent three evenings in this bar as we loved the atmosphere and a great choice of drinks. There are a lot of signature cocktails as well as the classic ones. They also have other interesting drinks such as home made coconut vodka, which we found quite tasty. Totally recommend for a fun evening with live music. Many cocktails tasted like they’ve had natural juice in them 😋👌

Very good bar, live music on every night with various bands throughout the week. Wide variety of drinks all at a very reasonable price. The bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere with guests encouraged to join in and have fun singing or dancing along with the bands that are playing. Staff are very attentive and always got a smile for you. Good service and you are well looked after. It’s one of those bars you go in for one drink and end up staying all evening. Definitely worth a visit.

This bar is one of the best places on the Island. Especially if you're from Europe countries, and mainly Slovakia and Czech Republic. If you are from these two countries, there is a high chance you ll bump into your countrymen. The owner is a great guy and probably the only person with slivovica on the Island :D. We were there three nights in a row because we could not get enough of it! If you re looking for fun night with great cocktails, live music, and reasonable prices, i do recommend this place more than any other on Phu Quoc. If i ever come back, this will be the first place i will visit. Both Michals are sending their hi along with me. :) Keep up the good work!

One of the worst meals ever anywhere. Really poor quality, nothing fresh. Do not eat here. The crab noodles one of the ugliest plates of food I’ve been presented with. Taste just as bad. Do not be fooled by how busy it is. They are scamming tourists with food not fit for eating. Maybe try somewhere out of the market.

Restaurant Review: I recently stopped by a restaurant while shopping at the market and decided to try their grilled oysters, specifically the "grilled oysters 5 ways" dish. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the concept of having oysters prepared in multiple flavors sounded enticing, the execution fell short. One of the main issues was the use of margarine instead of butter for some of the preparations, which affected the overall flavor and richness that I usually expect from grilled oysters. Additionally, one of the flavors simply wasn't good at all, leaving me quite unsatisfied with the dish as a whole. To add to the disappointment, I was surprised to learn that the restaurant charges 5,000 VND if you use the wet wipes they provide on the table. This seemed a bit excessive and left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. On a brighter note, I ordered a tequila sunrise to accompany my meal, and it was absolutely delicious. The refreshing taste of the cocktail was a nice contrast to the disappointment of the oysters, and it definitely saved my dining experience from being a total letdown. Overall, while I appreciated the vibrant drink, I cannot recommend the grilled oysters. I hope to have a better experience with other menu items in the future, but this dish did not meet my expectations, and the extra charge for wet wipes was an unexpected and unpleasant surprise.

Definitely avoid this place! A picture tells a thousand words, so just look at their vegetable "spring rolls". No vegetables to be found inside and nothing edible to be found here. Just batter deep fried into oblivion. I cut my losses and didn't eat it. Not feeling game enough to try any of their meat or seafood dishes, I ordered fried rice and partner ordered stir-fry with vegetables. The dishes looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. Not even close. Nothing was fresh. The stir-fry was 2 minute instant Maggi noodles emptied onto a plate with off vegetables. Fried rice totally tasteless. They came very quickly so I'll give them that. There was a horrible stench that drifted over the restaurant so I'm glad it was quick so I could get out of there! Yes they charge for the wet tissues they leave on the table. Unfortunately I've seen many places in Vietnam do this. However this is the first place I've seen who charge even when you don't use them! I left them on the table unopened and was still expected to pay for them. It's a dodgy and dishonest practice, but I honestly could not be bothered arguing with them. They don't understand English well and it costs what equates to less than $1 USD for the table. Oh well... there are worse scams in Vietnam. But another 4% extra for card payments too (also quite common now). My biggest issues with this place is that they are so pushy getting you in, and then after ordering getting something totally different to what's pictured or described on the menu. Their food is not in the slightest bit restaurant quality!

We ordered fried rice, oyster and barbecued fish. Fried rice and oyster were ok. But the fish was extremely unfresh, borderline rotten. There was a stinking smell and the flesh fell apart. We had one of the staff bring the fish back to the kitchen but they insist the fish was good. Please do avoid this place at all cost.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! We went here hoping it was good as the place was packed. The seafood seemed not fresh and was overcooked. The “scallops” we ordered were clams, the grilled squid still had the gladius (the backbone like cartillage) in it, and the beef skewers on lemongrass was tough and nothing like the photos on the menu. To top that off, the drinks we ordered never came. The service was just terrible. When we tried to order, the lady taking our order tried to hurry us up as she was trying to get to the next table as quick as possible. And when we asked for the bill they charged us for the drinks we never received and for wet towels which we didn’t order nor received. The bill itself was in Vietnamese so when trying to explain to the attendant that we’re not paying for the drinks, he took one drink off and tried to charge us for the other drink. I then asked for the menu to go through each item on the bill myself, and the attendant wasn’t happy about that. In the end we only paid what we had but even getting to that point was a disaster as the lady taking the payments was prioritizing other customers who were in line behind us. Please, if you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.

The worst dining experience in Vietnam so far. Poor food quality, worst service and inflated price. I would advise all tourists not to go there at all costs.

It was the most crowded sea food restourant in night market when I visited. The frued rice of sea food was so so. The soup of shellfish with limegrass was nice. The steamed crab with sweet chilly souce was really good. I ordered 1kg of crabs and two crabs were served. Grilled shrimps were tasty but a bit pricey for the overall taste. The staff seems a bit understaffed compared to the number of tables, making it a bit inconvenient.

After an exhausting day of snorkeling, we decided to indulge at Mad Cow Wine & Grill, perched atop the Pullman Phu Quoc Resort—arguably one of the island's finest steakhouses. The steaks here are masterfully prepared over a wood fire fueled by locally sourced mango and rambutan wood. This unique technique imparts a subtle fruity aroma and a distinct smoky flavour that sets their steaks apart. Sourcing premium beef from the United States, Japan, and Australia, the restaurant caters to all tastes with options for both dry-aged and fresh cuts. A delightful surprise was the sea urchin pâté, a rich and creamy mousse that paired beautifully with the toasted sourdough. Adding a touch of drama to the meal, the theatrical preparation of crêpe suzette was as impressive as it was delicious. Equally stunning was the vanilla ice cream luxuriously wrapped with gold leaf. The 360° views from the rooftop are magnificent too! Fantastic value after applying our 50% discount as an Accor premium member.

Place was empty. Yet service was bad. Expected more after seeing the reviews. We stayed at the Pullman. Full review: What’s good: 1) The truffle burger was very good. The fries that came with it were outstanding. The highlight of our meal. 2) The yuzu chimichuru was very good and refreshing. What’s bad: 1) This is a premium place with premium prices, we had the picante. It was tough and had a lot of sinew. Had to spit out the bits. It’s easy to make a juicy rib eye. I judge a premium place on tougher cuts. It was very mediocre for the price we paid 👎🏼 2) The service was very cold and transactional. Not attentive. We actually booked this place for a bday dinner with the reception, the receptionist told us she’ll make sure the restaurant is aware of it. No such acknowledgment was made. We had to ask multiple time for forks, spoons etc. The waiter also told us picante will come after the burger since it would take 20 mins. But he brought both together despite us telling him we wanted it after the burger. The staff seemed very disinterested in tending to us when the rest of the Pullman resort staff were more than warm. Did not feel like a premium experience at all.

During our stay at Pullman Phu Quoc, we had the privilege, as Platinum members, to enjoy breakfast at the 9th floor Ocean View restaurant instead of the busy main buffet hall. I truly appreciated this offer — it was such a pleasant way to start the day, away from the morning crowd. Everything here was done with great attention to detail — from the cutlery and table setting to the presentation and quality of the food. The service was also very thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast here is a semi-buffet, and I loved that they even offered decaffeinated coffee, which I really appreciate. For someone like me who can’t handle Vietnam’s strong caffeine very well, that’s such a small but meaningful touch. We were welcomed by Lam, who was a very enthusiastic and engaging staff member. She took the initiative to chat with us and shared some great local tips about Phu Quoc, which made our morning even more enjoyable. I also want to thank Tam, the barista, for finally serving me a cup of coffee that truly hit the spot — the best one I’d had after several days on the island! If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to include more local vegan or pescetarian options. I personally follow a pescetarian diet and would have loved to try a bowl of pho, but only beef pho was available. Since this venue is specially offered to Platinum members, it would be nice if the à la carte menu had a few more personalized choices instead of focusing mainly on Western-style breakfast. Overall, I really appreciated the peaceful setting, the ocean view, and the excellent service. The food was beautifully prepared and refined — it felt like the perfect way to begin each day of our stay. 🌊☕✨

First time to try this place Pretty straightforward concept - the Rib eye was a bit over cooked but okay would prefer more char and not sliced - sauce was a bit think paste over all not bad - just a shame cannot see the view in the night as quite bright inside but it’s a hard one . The food was really good and the service was great! I have severe food allergies (peanut & sesame) and they were very careful. Thank you so much especially Giau- Thu- Ngoc & Huy. I definitely recommend Mad Cow if you have food allergies and still want to enjoy good food.

Not bad food and a nice location, however they'll overcharge you. My wife and I came to have some food and drinks for happy hour, but the bartender with a tribal tattoo on his left arm and with glasses said that it's only for guests of their hotel. They should probably change their beach advertisement in that case. Edit: Replying to the owner. Apparently, it's impossible for them to see the 16:00-17:30 "golden hour" on their own sign. So does that mean "all day Saturday" from 16:00-17:30? Which days are from 16:00-17:30??😅 Also, didn't see on your advertisement where it says this is for guests only. Furthermore, this was our third time to your establishment. The first time we ordered fried calamari and fish tacos, and were pleasantly surprised that the bartender told us it was happy hour! Thank you for confirming that we shouldn't visit again as it seems honesty isn't the best policy at The Mala Bar.

Amazing place to watch the sun go down, and generally people watch. Live music a few night a week which makes the environment chilled and relaxed. Nice and friendly staff. Good choice of drinks. Great place to go with lots of seating options.

We spent every evening in the Malabar during our stay here. We enjoyed the sunset with draft beer or cocktails. Highlight was the live music and the friendly staff. We will definitely come back!

This was the best “investment” of our money, 500k for entry of beautiful beach, pool, seats etc, but you can consume all of this money! There is a happy hour from 17 to 19, 1 free drink for every 1 paid, u basically paid the entrance and then buy something at bar and keep the bill of remaining money, they even get us money back after last payment (we had 1mil, 90k left), the food was totally awesome!! look at pictures

I had the worst dinner at the Aura restaurant next to the pool. The female staff member wearing glasses was extremely unfriendly. During dinner time, my sister personally ordered onion rings, a Malibu drink, and a 1+1 beer while we were sitting on a two-person sunbed. Before the food arrived, we realized that the space was too small for three people to eat comfortably. Additionally, we were informed that the pool was closing for the evening. I found the interior of the Aura restaurant beautiful and wanted to move to a different seat. I asked a A different staff member who was not wearing glasses if we could change seats, and they said it was okay as long as we used towels to keep our swimsuits from getting the seats wet. The staff also asked for our sunbed table number, so I immediately asked my sister and told them, “Sunbed table 7, ordered items: Malibu, beer, and onion rings.” The staff confirmed and acknowledged this, so I assumed everything was taken care of and went to inform my mother, who was at sunbed 7. However, when we arrived, only the onion rings had been delivered—our drinks were missing. My mother and I moved to the new table, assuming the drinks would arrive soon. The Problem: Even after 15 minutes, our drinks still hadn’t arrived. We kept eating just the onion rings while repeatedly asking the staff when our drinks would come. They told us they had already been delivered to sunbed 7 and would bring them to us soon. While waiting, we ordered additional items: pasta and mango juice. Sunbed 7 was very close to our new table, yet the staff still took an unusually long time to bring our drinks. After some time, a staff member finally brought two bottles of beer, saying they had been delivered to table 7. However, the Malibu drink was still missing. When I asked, “Where is the Malibu?” the staff member got angry and raised their voice, saying: “Why did you move before all the food was delivered?” Then, they rudely threw down two sets of plates, forks, and knives on our table—even though we had three people. Later, when they brought the Malibu, they practically threw it onto the table. We had originally planned to enjoy our drinks after a nice swim, but instead, we ended up having a terrible evening. Questions: 1. Why wasn’t the Malibu delivered to sunbed 7 along with the beer? • The Malibu was given to us much later, separately, and the staff member was visibly angry about it. • It was listed on our bill, but at the time, it was completely missing from both sunbed 7 and our new table. • We ordered it, but it never arrived 2. Why did the staff get angry when we had already informed them that we were moving tables? • If you are curious, check the CCTV. You can confirm that I informed another staff member before moving to a different table. • If there was miscommunication among the staff, is it appropriate for them to take out their frustration on customers? This experience completely ruined our evening. In the end, a kind male manager apologized to us. He offered some complimentary service as compensation, but we declined and instead requested an apology from the female staff member wearing glasses. After receiving guidance from the manager, she eventually apologized. However, while bringing the Malibu drink, she repeatedly insulted us more than 10 times in a loud voice to other staff members, making sure we could hear her. We had to endure those offensive remarks while eating our food. When my sister went to make the final payment, the manager informed her that they had not charged us for one mango juice. While we appreciate the gesture, it doesn’t change the fact that we had a terrible experience on the first day of our family trip due to the poor service and unprofessional behavior.

Very grateful to Asst Manager Ms. Mai Ngoc Thanh Tam (most fluent English speaker at Movenpick WaverlyHotel) who suggested and orchestrated this amazing flower festooned private candlelit sunset dinner on the beach when we reached out to the hotel for help in celebrating our anniversary. We chose the Asian menu for its shrimp, lobster crispy noodles, and dessert the other options were Western and Fusion. The package included our choice of cocktails and red or white wine and several surprises! From Day 1 when Ms. Mai Ngoc Thanh Tam welcomed us with open arms, Movenpick Hotel Phu Quoc‘s Aura Beach Club has been our happy place for 7:30AM beach yoga, poolside lunches, happy hour & starlit dinners! The practically open-air Aura Beach Club overlooks the pool and beach. We highly recommend the very hospitable and professional staff, the tapas, the crab-packed crab fried rice, Taco Tuesday guacamole, the smoked duck & truffle pizza, seafood salad, garlic bok choy, 2 for 1 Happy Hour inside the pool or out, and do claim the 2nd table from the beach but next to the pool with the glorious sea and sunset view. In March there was always a nice sea breeze keeping us cool. Do ask for Mai she is a gem- a true professional with a bright future in hospitality.

Yesterday day time eat here seafood fried rice. Evening time high temperature, a lot of pain in stomach. Today keep same. Can not even go for a walk. Very hard intoxication and pain. Did not eat anything after this dish, sure this dish was a reason. Check your kitchen.

The most amazing food combined with the WORST SERVICE ever. They served us the main course before the starters and didn’t give any cutlery. We asked for cutlery but after waiting about 15 mins and the food going cold we just got sick of them and finally went into the restaurant and served ourselves cutlery and plates. They did the same thing for dessert and the ice cream we ordered was a sludge by the time they brought cutlery and plates. A hard no from us despite the amazing veg food we had there.

Stay far, far away from this place. It has been closed for several months since May, yet still continues to accept bookings (and money) through Agoda. This place is associated with another lower end hotel in Duong Dong, and once you discover you can not check in, they will direct you to Hotel Lam Hà further away. The Agoda listing cleverly intertwines photos of several separate and independent resorts into one. On Agoda, this place is listed as HANZ Son Tra Hills, and the place they will try to send you to is called Lam Hà Hotel.

I have loved this place since our last visit. The bistro/ hotel is on a small hill, where you can see the city from up high. Also, it's a really nice place to see the sunset. Food and beverages are scrumptious. I couldn't complain about anything.

My friend took me to this coffee shop for the first time late evening but i found this place with good view. I like the view but my coconut coffee suck!!! My friend drink was the same. He just sipped then did not drink. We paid when we left. Because of the view i came back to this shop again to watch the sunset. i ordered fruit yoghurt. OMG, what i received: yoghurt and fruit: banana chopped into slices, mango slices! and the waiter asked me to pay immediately. i was surprised because the first time we paid when we leave. That terrible yoghurt cost 85k and i gave him 100k. He left and did not return me the change!!! i have no intention to tip because of his bad service. Such bad feeling: drink and service. anw the view is beautiful

Randomly found this roof top cafe on top of the hill. The Panoramic View was stunning at night . Think would be even better during sunset as it’s facing the sea . There’s area with open air facing the sea. Came here to have coffee and snacks. And it’s good . Notice Mostly local Vietnamese customer. Food reasonable price. And waiter friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place .

During our visit to Phu Quoc this time, we took Air Asia and transited via Kuala Lumpur at $380. The total travel time was about 6 hours due to the transit time and slightly longer flight time from Singapore to KL (45 minutes) and from KL to Phu Quoc (1.5 hours). But we have good news! There is now a direct flight from Singapore to Phu Quoc via Scoot and it cuts down the travel time to 1 hr 45 minutes at a lower cost of about $250! To transfer from Phu Quoc International Airport to your hotel, you can use Grab, approach the transfer counter at the airport or use one of these transfer options via Klook. Tip: Do note that prices do surge during school holidays so it is wise to lock in those prices early where possible. The whole island is basically a scam. false advertisements everywhere, pullotion everywhere. You can see the waste water flowing straight from the restaurant into the sea, the beach is full of trash, the water is so disgusting , you won't want to step into it. they built 2 Theme Parks, which are obviously also a scam. old, not well maintained. restaurant, spa and hotel are all scam because of the false advertisement. You can also see how they are making SoMe content on the street to fake advertise their places. if you go on the cable car, you will see trash in the ocean kilometers away in the sea. All the fishing boats destroying the sea floor. Its just disgusting and sad. and nobody cares, they built a fake kingdom next to the poor and pulloted residential area, the contrast is crazy, it shows how bad organise it is and its all about money from the tourists. nature and the ocean are not in their interests.

Phú Quốc is a place of contrasts. Right now, you can see the aftermath of the real estate boom — half-finished projects and empty streets giving parts of the island a strangely deserted, almost pseudo-European look. But at the same time, the beauty here is undeniable: wide-open views, fresh sea air, and a calmness that’s hard to find elsewhere. The locals I met were warm and friendly, and you can sense the potential in the island’s modern infrastructure. With the right push, I believe Phú Quốc could soon transform into one of Southeast Asia’s must-visit destinations

It's the weirdest place I've every been and not in a good way. It's al fake and the locals are pushed away in small villages to make space for empty European looking buildings. The ocean is beautiful, but so full of garbage! Plastic everywhere. Made me cry. In 15 minutes we had a big pile of plastic collection from the ocean. Also on land garbage everywhere, like no one cares. Rats walking around like they are in heaven. Never coming there again and I hope it will turn around, but I'm afraid it's only getting worse.

Lovely place model like Amafi coast feels European. Nice weather during January, live fireworks several times a night. Night market is clean and lots of food establishment with thirst quenching draft beers.

A lot of food options! A lot of inexpensive stuff around. Just I dont like the typical vietnamese vendor who are so grumpy and one didnt even allow me to take video of just the fruit 🙄 not as crowded as other night markets I‘ve been to in SEA. There are shops here selling surplus from famous brands like crocs, northface etc. I bought a pair of crocs for 300k dong. If there are not so many people they can give it as low as 250k dong! Around 10usd

Not a great market. 90% of stalls were seafood, peanuts, ice cream, crocs or pearls. Food we had was average and more expensive than outside market area.

A great night market with lots of food choices, mostly focused on seafood. It is hectic and crowded and some of the larger seating restaurants are just okay with food being average. Make sure you check the menus at the front of the restaurant before committing.

Just not my type of market. Felt a little hesitant to try the seafood. Just played safe and had some standard dishes, but it wasn’t that good. As a traveller and had been to many night markets in the world. This is one of the worst I’ve been.

Stayed nearby just to visit the market. It’s overrated and overpriced. The same stuff is sold in most of the stalls in the market. So if you visit 1 staff no need to visit the rest. The seafood restaurants are terrible and not fresh seafood, be careful. You don’t want to get sick. I don’t recommend and would not come back

You can feel the natural, local Vietnamese night market. There are lots of peanut stores, and they give sample peanuts. A lot of peanuts are on your hand after wandering the market.

The market has seen better days. It now seems to be dominated by some random guy's franchise selling peanuts and a lot of stalls selling the same things. It needs a shake up

Unskilled bartenders and rude service. When complaining my mango margarita was dipped in SALT they started to argue with me. Plus, it takes forever to make one (drink) even if the place is empty. 2 stars for nice looking beer place.

Trendy Lil ca phe shop with very unique and tasty food. I had the mushroom and eggs sizzling breakfast plate with Bahn mi and a coconut coffee. Both very good.

Came in here every evening for drinks. Pool is free and darts. It's a really good atmosphere in the pub. We also.had some side dishes to eat as well when we came in the day. Best pub in this area. Give it a try.

This is the place to go, 100 percent Loi is a great host, place is great for sports and also a chill free pool and darts many table top games available and also food and drink top draw 👌 Simba is a dream running around mixing with the customers also speaking english only 3 years old wow . Lovely bar, super friendly staff, great draft beer and food, prices are very reasonable. Music here is the best, finally not the same playlist you get on all the other bars on the island! They have a free pool table, fusball, darts and other games. Enjoyed here very much and would love to come back again! Thank you

Came on 6 Oct 5 pm. The atmosphere and lighting was just right. Was served by Uyen. Even though she was lacking in English language, she tried her best to communicate with us and get us the correct order. Good food, and fantastic scenery.

We are staying at Sunset Town and was looking for more of an authentic atmosphere and food option. This place did not disappoint! We went for lunch and may very well go back for dinner. We have two more weeks here so we will definitely be back a few more times. Get the pork chop breakfast! You’re welcome!! 😂🤘🏾 ps: whoever made my Cappuccino, the BEST I have EVER had! Stopped by here during the day for refreshments. We had guava juice and passion fruit juice both were delicious and reasonably priced at 60,000. The atmosphere and views were amazing. Must stop for views of the island.

I tried the broken rice with grilled pork chop and fried egg – it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly marinated pork, runny egg, fresh pickles – everything balanced so well. Affordable but tastes like a premium meal! The pistachio gelato blew my mind – rich, nutty flavor, so creamy and smooth, just like authentic Italian gelato! The rooftop view is breathtaking – ocean, fishing village, and even the Hon Thom cable car above. Food + view = perfect combo! If you’re in An Thoi, this place is a must-visit. Great food, amazing gelato, and a stunning view-truly unforgettable!

Probably our favorite place on the south end of the island. I cannot recommend PH Rooftop Bar highly enough, even though I don't score the food or service very high. Still the value is 5-Star, as are the views and overall experience. Service is hit or miss. Relax, it's worth it. Simply put, you go here for the view. Everything else is a distant second. But damn what a view. It's actually inside a hotel, but they staff is very welcoming regardless of whether or not you're staying there. Sunsets here are incredible. Don't skip this place!

Nice bar, great location, strong drinks. The toilet should be cleaner. The staff was friendly but a bit lazy and more interested in their smartphones than in the customer. Reasonable prices for the drinks (65.000 for a Gin Tonic). The Gin Tonic was good but a bit too strong for us, but depends how you like it. We didn't liked the AGGRESSIVE hip hop music at all.
