Bigger btw the two, beautiful beach and spot such as turtle beach and turtle point. Only baby sharks in august in shark point

This place is beautiful, we stayed at the Flora Bay Resort. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing! Will definitely go back. Especially for the diving locations where are absolutely beautiful.

nice place for who want to get an experience out door camping... nearest location to snokerling activity ( just walk around 5 minute)... at Buddy Dive Centre at Teluk Keke you can get many activiti such as Discovery Scuba Diving, Fun Dive, Open Water Course( who want a licence under PADI) and many activities you can do..

Amazing hospitality, amazing beaches, clean, well kept, plenty of water taxis around for travel.
Suneeta K — Google review
This place is very suitable for family gathering. Less happening than perhentian kecil but will provide you the beautiful coral of snorkelling area without having to reach snorkelling point by boat. The coral area is stated near coral view resort.
Miss M — Google review
Great snorkeling sites around the island which holds dense marine ecosystem. There's even one shark point for the brave hearts who are willing to swim with the sharks! It's peaceful and laid back. Good for family gathering, a weekend getaway and a romantic holiday 😊

Ombak Cafe is a must-visit destination on Pulau Perhentian Kecil, offering a delightful dining experience with stunning sunset views. As part of Ombak Dive Resort, it provides accommodation packages with breakfast. The cafe features a diverse menu of local and international dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Visitors can enjoy an array of options that change daily, including delectable desserts.
Nice cafe/ restaurant. Drinks and food are good. In the evening they have live music or fireshows and at 8 pm they play a movie. The popcorn is delicious and you can request a movie.
Nadine R — Google review
I write this review as someone who booked a package with Ombak Resort which included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was buffet style and repetitive - same thing every morning. Good vegetarian options but almost no vegan options besides fruit, beans, cereals and sometimes soy milk. Not a great start to the day, especially when you go diving afterwards, for which you need fuel. For lunch and dinner you can choose from a very limited menu which is the same every day. It includes a drink (also limited choice) and some fruit for dessert (always watermelon). The main course options are good for vegetarians but there are no vegan options. You can ask for vegan food but the staff makes you feel as if this is a hassle. I got the same dish for every meal during my 4 day stay - so I ate the same dish 8x. It was always veggies with tofu. Sometimes with sauce, sometimes without. One night I was served plain white rice with a slice of cucumber. This was very disappointing. Besides that, the restaurant has a big menu but prices are incredibly high. I read many comments about long waiting times but from what I observed, this isn’t the case. A nice touch is that they play two movies every night. But then again: drinks ans food are so expensive that you don’t want to splurge on that too much. The staff often looks like they hate their job, almost no smiles etc. I recommend Ombak Resort for staying there but I can’t recommend the Café/restaurant at all.
David D — Google review
Relaxed beach café with great views and good food Ombak Café is a perfect spot on Coral Bay to unwind after a day of snorkeling or diving. The menu offers a good mix of local and Western dishes. Sunset views are beautiful, and they show outdoor movies and do fire shows on some nights. Service can be a bit slow, but the setting makes up for it. A great place to chill by the sea.
T — Google review
Appletini - was just okay , had to choose this mocktail as none of the others were available Beer - not cold enough , could have been kept cold Sweet and sour chicken - Amazing , the best sweet and sour chicken i have ever tasted. They had used fried chicken in sweet and sour makinf it really tasty. Chicken Fried Rice- Fried rice was prepared separarely and fried chicken kept separately. The taste of chicken fried rice was missing completely Ambience was amazing , the concept of free movie screening was good.
Gautham D — Google review
The service is absolutely a disaster. One of the staffs was really clueless and hard to communicate with. A lot of the dishes on the menu are not available. As we were told one of the dishes we ordered not available after we placed the order, we informed that guy to cancel it. Somehow they served a duplicate of another dish we ordered. We rejected it, the guy took it back to the kitchen. And guess what? they sneakily include that additional dish we cancelled at the last line of the receipt. Avoid this restaurant at all cost. Super poor service terrible attitude.
Cy T — Google review
Relative to other places, this is good. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian diet, the menu has authentic options and the service was passable. My only complaint is the nosiy diesel generator and fumes which wouldn't be needed during the day is they installed solar PV Card accepted
Daniel — Google review
I stayed at Ombak Hotel, which was nice. Since it rained for several hours in the evening, we needed to find a place to eat nearby, but Coral Beach had limited options. We decided to dine here, but unfortunately the food we ordered (green curry and beef rendang) was disappointing and relatively expensive. I ended up ordering fries afterward. Breakfast at the hotel was included and was decent. Note: Avoid Rose & Sunset Drink Bar on Coral Bay. The bartender will try to scam you if you pay with a credit card (he also does not have change and that is odd..). The bar doesn’t have its own Google listing, so I’m posting this warning here.

ombak cafe had a new menu as of year 2024 - really enjoyed the breakfast as there were different options everyday and desserts too! (first 3 pics from breakfast) food was good especially the roti telur (could tell it wasnt the frozen type), mango cheesecake and the fried noodles! fried rice was a little bland but it was on the cheaper side so wouldn’t complain :/ thanks for the great service and we will be back again!

Nestled on the stunning Long Beach, the Beach Bar is a charming and unpretentious spot that has captured the hearts of both locals and travelers alike. This cozy bar, with its simple setup of small tables scattered along the sandy shore, offers breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets. Each night transforms into a lively celebration as guests gather to enjoy vibrant fire shows illuminating the beach.
Not sure if it is this one! But cheap cocktail and beers at the beach bar.

Restaurant
I have been enjoying Malaysian cuisine at various restaurants in Long Beach for the past three days. However, I must say that The World Cafe @ BuBu Villa stands out as the best. The quality of service, staff, food, and atmosphere is exceptional. Every little detail has been taken care of to create a true resort experience in Long Beach. While some may consider it slightly expensive, the portions served are generous compared to other local restaurants where you often feel cheated with small portions of rice and meat.
Fabulous setting – the views are spectacular and the restaurant area is lovely.  The service team were the best we have ever experienced.  Nasir was fabulous, he knew what we needed before we knew ourselves, remembering our regular orders and working hand in hand with Mikey to provide a great service. The food was spectacular.  Breakfast offered freshly squeezed juice to order, an array of fresh fruit, pastries rolls, nuts and yoghurt.  The fantastic catering team were also on hand to provide hot food to order.  Waquar’s French toast with banana and chocolate sauce was the best we have ever eaten.  The breakfast omelette also rivalled anything we have had elsewhere.  For lunch or in the evening, we had a vast choice of Thai, western and BBQ food.  Between Angelo’s western delights, the thai team’s expert dishes and the BBQ specialities we worked hard to eat as much of the menu as possible so we could experience everything.  The team regularly came out to engage with the guests and discuss our feedback and experience. A wonderful restaurant on a wonderful island.

Let me start by saying that I never usually write reviews, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone! We spent four nights at Bubu Villa with my partner, and we absolutely loved every moment of it. The breakfast was simply amazing – generous, fresh, and incredibly delicious. The staff was also extremely kind and attentive. Our favorites were the Eggs Benedict, the omelette, and the French toast, which came with a choice of freshly squeezed juice – we loved this combo so much that we had it every single morning. The picture speaks for itself. The accommodation, especially the garden villa, is like something out of a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace, comfort, and a touch of luxury, this is the perfect place!”

The World Café @BuBu Villa is hands down the nicest restaurant at Long Beach, Perhentian. We had such a good time here — the staff were really attentive and welcoming. We especially loved being able to pick our own fish for the barbecue, which was prepared perfectly. The drinks were spot on, and the whole place has such a lovely, relaxed ambience. A fantastic spot to enjoy a great dinner by the beach!

I rarely write reviews, but after such an unpleasant experience, I felt it was necessary to share. From the moment we arrived, the service at this restaurant was shockingly poor. The male, tall, Indian Malaysian waiter (in a black polo shirt) greeted us with a look of annoyance, as if seating us was an inconvenience. It only went downhill from there. Our table was unfortunately located near the bar/counter, where the same waiter kept coughing up phlegm—loudly and repeatedly—without any attempt to excuse himself or step away. It was unhygienic and incredibly off-putting, especially as we were about to eat. When we ordered, he came over and quite literally slammed our cutlery onto the table without a word. No smile, no politeness—just pure disinterest and attitude. The worst part came when he brought my gnocchi. I politely asked for some black pepper, which he insisted on doing himself. Instead of a light sprinkle, he dumped dozens of whole black peppercorns all over my dish. It was clearly a mistake, but instead of taking it back, he picked up my spoon from the table and started trying to fish them out at the table in front of us—peppercorn by peppercorn. There were at least 30-40 of them. I was stunned. When I (still politely, though horrified) asked him to stop and requested a fresh portion, he rolled his eyes, said “I will clean it up,” and walked off without apology. Eventually, the gnocchi reappeared without the peppercorns, but by then the whole meal felt tainted. We were largely ignored for the rest of the evening—no check-ins, no apology, no attempt to make up for the experience. The final insult? The bill came to RM365. For a meal so poorly handled and service so unprofessional. Avoid if you value basic decency and hygiene.

For those seeking something a bit fancy with quality to match — this place delivers. The view is pretty stunning, the service is attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Surprisingly tasty. A great spot if you’re looking to treat yourself or impress someone 🤌🤌.

Fantastic food and service !! One of the best dinners here in Malaysia. I had seafood gnocchi and the quality was the same as a good Italian restaurant. I recommend to anyone staying in Perenthian !!!
Camilla F — Google review
Nice restaurant en good food. It is a bit pricier than other restaurants on Long Beach and Malaysia but you see it in the service en the western dishes they offer. I had a gnocchi tomato for 55rn (around €11) which is still a good price for good food.
Birgit G — Google review
If you want to disconnect from asian food this is the option you need in the island but let me tell you something, prepare your wallet. Great food quality, we chose two kind of different pasta and a bruschetta as an appetizer. Two Tiger beers and a mineral water. The price was as high as if you were in Barcelona (28€/pers). It’s not a bad review, as you can see my 5-star, just a comment and some information you should know before you go.

Crocodile Rock Bistro is a part of Crocodile Rock Villas located in the tranquil western part of Pulau Perhentian Kecil, offering a peaceful dining experience with a view. This beach bistro is known for its delicious vegetarian options and homemade sausages, burgers, spaghetti, pizzas, and salads. The restaurant features wooden tables on the sand and a relaxing ambiance with palm-leafed roof and beanbags on the beach.
Has the BEST atmosphere on the island. And the food is super good! Undoubtedly the BEST place you want to enjoy a dinner with sunset. And the Bar is PERFECT!!!

Possibly the best food on the island - everything tasted great (breakfast and dinner) and the views out over the sea are lovely.
Alistair G — Google review
We ate here for dinner and breakfast twice. The food is the best we had on the island, and although some other reviews say it is expensive, we felt it was very fairly priced for what you get. The breakfast fruits were delicious, and a really good sized portion, and the coffee was good. Dinner has lots of options for vegetarians, and had a good variety. The location is secluded and the restaurant is nicely done.
Ed — Google review
Easily one of the best restaurant on the Island. Delicious food, and I greatly appreciated the attention to sustainability and the several vegetarian and vegan options on the menu!
Vincenzo B — Google review
Just an awesome place overall… really cool isolated location and definitely the best food on the island. Food: 4.5/5 Bruschetta - 5/5. It’s one of the best bruschettas I’ve had, even comparing to ones from Italy/Canada! Chicken (can’t remember the exact name of the dish, but it was the one with the coconut spice sauce) 4/5 It was really good but I think the flavours aren’t suited for my palate. I think others who like that type of gravy would really love it! Chocolate cake dessert: 4/5 - a bit of a rich chocolate cake with a nice crunch! Service: 5/5 - very friendly and quick to serve! Ambiance: 5/5 - a well kept isolated spot on the island. It’s super cool and a lovely area. Would have loved to come here for dinner again or even stay on the resort.
Alykhan V — Google review
We ate here twice in our four days on the island and loved it! The staff are so friendly especially the lovely lady (is it Georgie maybe) on the bar who was really friendly and attentive. The restaurant accommodated us twice with no reservation and both times the food was exceptional. Some of the best food we had on Perhentian Kecil for sure. It was convenient for us staying next door but I still recommend to go out of your way to visit !
Suzy M — Google review
Tasty food, absolutely delicious bruschettas and a great atmosphere! We stayed at Crocodile villas and enjoyed it a lot - a little piece of jungle paradise! Everything is super clean and well maintained, we will definitely miss this place ♥️
Veroni4ka 6 — Google review
The location of this restaurant is truly beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and a setting that could make for a perfect dining experience. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our visit. The woman who owns the place was extremely unwelcoming and unprofessional. For absolutely no reason, she refused to serve us more bruschette when we asked politely, which left us shocked and disappointed. It felt as though guests were more of a bother than something to be valued. Such a poor attitude from the owner overshadowed everything else. A real shame, because with such a stunning location, the restaurant could be so much better if it were managed with hospitality in mind.

Restaurant
Santai Restaurant is a dining spot located on the shores of Pantai Pasir Panjang or Long Beach. As part of BuBu Resort, it offers a diverse menu including beachside BBQ with fresh seafood and grilled sticks. The restaurant is known for its good food, although prices are relatively high due to its monopoly on quality dining in the area. It prioritizes serving hotel guests during peak hours to maintain service standards.
This restaurant located at Lobg beach,Nice seaview, Own by Bubu Resort Perhentian island -Santai restaurant . We enjoy the beef pepper salad, fresh and Nice steak slice with black pepper. Beef burger , Phat Thai , and seafood pasta here. Nice atmosphere and the service was Nice and. Friendly. Must try the tiramisu desert. So…Good
BuBu R — Google review
The restaurant that is part of Bubu resort, is one with a higher price, but supposedly better quality. And, honest, the quality is good. The salad was fresh and tasteful, the sweet and sour fish with vegetables and rice was totally fine. However, you can have dinner 10 meters away for less than half the price, which is more than half as good:)
Bas R — Google review
Nice restaurant at Long beach. It’s a bit more expensive than the other places nearby, but the service reflects that. If you’re looking for a slightly more upscale meal while still enjoying the beach, Santai is a solid choice.
Laura — Google review
For sure. Prices are higher here. The taste was good, and the service was excellent. The waiter even asked if everything was OK or not. A dinner (with 2 beers) for 2 adults and 2 kids came up to RM220. My only gripe were the flying ants (which was no fault of the restaurant); as it rained about 30 minutes before we came. Hence, the flying ants were all around. Other than that, nothing else to fault.
Day L — Google review
Our second visit to Santai since 2019 and the restaurant is still world class (we were so happy the menu never changed) with quality you cannot find at other local restaurants on Long Beach (meat and most ingredients imported from KL). Phillip behind the bar, the international chefs and waiters are all fantastic. We loved the beef tenderloin (all beef are tender) and rack of lamb the most but you can’t go wrong with the sea food and Asian options. We loved our nightly table on the beach.
Pietro — Google review
Very ordinary and overpriced. Please try other places in the same line of the the restaurant for decent food and beverages.
Anurag P — Google review
The ONLY “not kidding” restaurant that serves decent to GOOOD food in this small little island. However the price of the food is quite high given that it is the only place that serves decently good food. However, they don’t serve customers from other hotels on peak lunch or dinner hours so to not compromise on the service n food waiting hour for the existing hotel guests. Everything on the menu is considered good, we always order the MEE GOReng & nasi lemak here. Even the locals Malay also say the mee goreng is gooood.

Panorama Cafe is a popular spot located near Turtle Bay Divers and Symphony. It's known for its relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind in the afternoon. The prices are reasonable and the food is described as delicious, with options like loaded fries and Nutella French toast receiving high praise. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including fresh fish and spicy squid (Kerabu sotong).

Amazing food by a beautiful beach. Everyone always has a good time there, perfect to relax and de-stress. I especially loves the Chicken Creamy, and the Banana Cheese. Of all the banana cheese I've tasted in both malaysia and singapore, this obscure island cafe is the best I've ever had 😋🤤 (craving it rn)

A bit disappointed. Grilled chicken was full of cartilage and little taste. Chips were good with melted cheese on it Fried calamari were fairly tasty. Staff friendly. Waiting time about 20 minutes, average

One of the best restaurants on Long Beach, with unbeatable prices and good value for money. Some must-try menu items are mango smoothies, fried rice kampung (spicy!), tomyam soup and french fries. For dinner we had grilled sea bass which was beautifully done… so good we came back twice in a row.
Just I — Google review
I visited Panorama Cafe for teatime and ordered what I believe were cheesy french fries with some meat on top. Unfortunately, I found the portion quite small for the price — it was around RM15–RM20, which felt a bit expensive and not really worth the value. Maybe if there were more fries, it would’ve been better, but overall, it didn’t feel reasonable for what I got. That said, the mango lassi was delicious! I really enjoyed it and even planned to come back for one more before leaving the island, but sadly, my schedule didn’t allow it. If I ever return, I’d definitely get the mango lassi again. I also tried the teh tarik, but I personally didn’t like it. The taste was okay, but it looked like it had artificial colouring, which made me feel a bit uneasy. I didn’t expect that. Overall, it was a mixed experience — some good, some disappointing. Might return for the drinks, but not the food.
Shafirah — Google review
By far the best place we are on Long Beach. We had a total of 8 meals there and all of them were really good. The local dishes are really good, the fish was perfect and the western dishes the best we’ve tried (although not as good as in Western Europe). Very friendly and service minded staff as well.
Brian H — Google review
Mango juice and calamari were good but the mains… buttermilk prawns: the sauce was good but the prawns were reheated on the microwave, hard as a rock and the waiter didn’t care at all, just said they were frozen. The honey lemon chicken could have been great but it was also reheated and not even warm. Really disappointed

We had a memorable dining experience here! • The spaghetti with tomato sauce was honestly the best we’ve had in Malaysia—so fresh and flavorful. • The octopus with mango and lime was also outstanding, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. • The only downside was the egg sandwich; unfortunately, the kids didn’t enjoy it as much. Ocean Blue Cafe on Pulau Perhentian is a charming dining spot offering an unforgettable experience. The cafe provides a romantic ambiance with its open-air setting, allowing guests to dine under the stars and feel the soft sand beneath their feet. Despite the slow service, visitors are encouraged to embrace the relaxed pace of island living.
We had our best dinner in Perhentian island at Ocean Blue. BBQ fish set is a must-try, seabass was fresh and delicious - well seasoned and grilled! The beef patties in the burger were nicely chargrilled! With beautiful sea view and chill atmosphere, the dinner was the best one we had in both Perhentian big and small islands. Owners were very friendly and polite - we came for lunch, and even got our water taxi from them with fair price.

A lovely family run cafe on the beach. The food here is good and fair priced. You can also book water taxi and excursions, Hanafi and his wife and super friendly and helpful. I hope to see you again someday!

What a gem of a place to eat, drink amd enjoy the beautiful sea view and sounds of rolling waves. Great service and delicious food. I had nescafe ais and nasi paprik, thumbs up. I stayed at Alunan but wanted a change of food and scenery 🙂

We had an amazing dinner here! The grilled fish was absolutely perfect – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very authentic and relaxed, right by the beach. The whole family running the restaurant was extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. One of the best experiences we’ve had on Perhentian Islands. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious local seafood and a true island vibe! Thank you for everything!

I stopped by Ocean Blue Cafe for a couple of meals during my stay on Palau Perhentian. The food was amazing and you can enjoy it right on the beach! The owners are wonderful people and made me feel right at home. Hope to make it back here some day.

The bbq sea bass was absolutely delicious! It was super fresh and tasty and a must-try!! 🤩 I must also comment on the owners' kindness. We arranged a water taxi service with them when we ordered our dinner as we were staying on perhentian besar. When we were finishing our dinner, a storm was approaching and they looked out for us and made sure that we made it back to perhentian besar safely despite it being a risk for the owner himself to get back safely because of the impending storm. Thankfully, everyone was safe in the end and we are super grateful! Do visit their cafe if you're in the area, it's really worth it!! ✨️

The food was really good and didn’t take too long to arrive. Had both lunch and dinner here, right by the beach with the sound of waves in the background. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful day at Blue Ocean Café! We spontaneously booked a snorkeling trip via WhatsApp – super quick and friendly communication! The tour was well-organized, and the lovely family who runs the café was incredibly kind and helpful. After snorkeling, we had lunch at the café – the food was so delicious that we ended up spending the whole afternoon at the beach and came back for dinner. Tasty local dishes (including vegetarian options), fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. Truly a highlight – can recommend it to everyone!

Pit Stop Station is a popular dining spot on Long Beach, offering a variety of Malaysian and Western dishes. Meanwhile, Blue Paradise and Mamas Restaurant are the go-to places on Besar. The prices at Pit Stop Station are considered to be very reasonable, and visitors also have the option to rent a private boat for snorkeling trips. Guests rave about the delicious food and refreshing drink choices available at this establishment, as well as the friendly staff providing excellent service.
Definitely the best place for lunch on the island. Really delicious baguettes and sandwiches, noodles, ice blended drinks. Perfect fuel after diving/snorkelling. SO NICE go here.
Charlotte G — Google review
We went for supper and were pleasantly surprised with our delish meal! I had the curry chicken which was like a soup with potatoes carrots and onions. It was perfectly balanced with a very light coconut taste. We also had the ginger beef and rice which was very flavourful. Everything was fresh service was friendly. And prices were low! We ate it so fast we didn’t take a pic!
Anita C — Google review
Nice spot to eat lunch on the beach and find some refresh from the hot sun. Service was a bit slow but friendly, and we could relax in the meantime. We had fresh fruit and squid fried rice, all was good. We also tried the short snorkeling tour they offer, it was definitely worth it (and cheap). I recommend
Nathalie P — Google review
Nice place in the middle of Long Beach with sea view. Nice food and really good juice. Little bit slow the service but accettable, only few people working there. Great price for the quality of the food.
Andrea B — Google review
A nice and popular little restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. Feet in the sand 😉 Yes, everything moves at a relaxed pace, but that perfectly matches the laid-back vibe of the island. Try the tom yum soup/dish, fried noodles, or one of the many sandwiches. And the banana fritters with chocolate are also delicious. Great juices too!
MvB — Google review
Any Chicken sandwich is great, get baguette bread if you can. Chicken pineapple cheese sandwich is amazing. The milkshakes are so good get banana and snickers/mars combo. View is incredible with tables right on the beach. Service can be pretty slow if busy but worth it.
George D — Google review
Food was DELICIOUS, definitely worth the wait, they pan fry the bread (sandwich and baguette) with butter. Mango lassi QRE THE BEST very filling as well. The best fried rice you can find on the island!! We had to get the food taken away (we had tuna chicken cheese sandwiches and baguettes) they added a freebie in there which were chopped up yellow mango and watermelon. It was so good we walked all the way from rainforest beach to Long Beach 3 days in a row to eat there. We were very sad to leave. Will definitely be coming back the next time we visit perhentian islands!!
Andrea A — Google review
More than 1h30min wait, not just our table but also the others around us. Makes you wonder if they have forgotten your order since they bring orders randomly to each table - my partner and I were served more than 1h apart. I understand the wait if there’s an explanation or they advise you but we were none of both. Food is okay but not worth the wait in our opinion.

With its stunning seaside views and a menu brimming with local flavors, this cafe stands out for its delicious offerings. Guests rave about the fluffy Roti Canai, freshly made right before your eyes, and other traditional dishes like Nasi Lemak that are simply superb.
Food here was delicious, tasty and well presented. We tried the beef stick with soy sauce and the fried more with chicken. The atmosphere is nice and calm. Really recommend. Just pay attention as the restaurant is not always opened.

We came during monsoon season so the menu was extremely limited, however the food we had was amazing! And the prices are really reasonable compared to other restaurants/cafes around coral bay. Great staff and relaxing environment.
Abid R — Google review
Haven’t stayed there as a guest so only will comment on food. Try the Roti Cinai the guy makes in front of you! It’s the fluffiest one I’ve had in Malaysia! Burger is a sad affair though, completely not edible, would definitely go for something else. Staff is very friendly
Julia M — Google review
Review: ★★★☆☆ – Lack of effort and care, but the food is okay The food is decent—nothing special, but acceptable considering the limited dining options on the island. The real issue is the staff’s attitude; they seem to have no motivation, making the service slow and unwelcoming. Hygiene? Who knows... It doesn’t seem to be a priority. There isn’t even a restroom for customers, which is really inconvenient. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but not a pleasant one either. If they improved cleanliness and service, it could deserve a higher rating.

This charming eatery boasts a cozy atmosphere adorned with twinkling garlands and a bustling terrace that fills up quickly during evenings. Guests can savor well-prepared dishes at reasonable prices, including an enticing BBQ featuring fresh fish right by the beach. Whether you're craving local seafood or vegetarian options, every meal is made to order, ensuring freshness and quality.
For me the best restaurant on this beach. All dishes are prepared on request also vegetarian / vegan. From time to time the preparation takes a little time, but you should accept that for good food.
Jonathan S — Google review
Start positive: the location and the view on the ocean is amazing. However, there are other locations with the same view. Reality: The food and especially considering its price is a joke. A small wrap of ok quality and exactly 12 french fries. At least the fries were crunchy. The Pineapple juice at this place was the most expensive one we had on this beach. Unfortunately, it was the only one coming out of a pack instead of a fresh pineapple. Why are they serving packed pineapple juice while sitting at the source for fresh tropical fruit. My recommendation: Go to one of the other places nearby, there are good ones a minute to the west near the dive centers. Go to another place, pay less, get more of better quality. Sad but true.

Abbas Bar is a rustic wooden shack owned by a charismatic local on a Malaysian island. The place offers a laid-back atmosphere with benches and beachside tables. While the drinks may not be top-notch, they are affordable, and Abbas's unique concoctions make them surprisingly tasty. Visitors can also enjoy an evening fire show while sipping on reasonably priced beer and cocktails, creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience by the beach.
