Along with Archontoula this is as traditional as it gets. The food is absolutely amazing. The barrel wine is phenomenal. I can't say enough good things. There may be a wait but it is well worth it. Get the Chick Peas and the Γουρούνοπουλο and thank me later. Beautiful setting but would be equally worth the visit if it was on a mountain. Wonderful experience.

Don’t miss this place if you’re in Milos. One of the most authentic spots on the island with real traditional food and great local vibes. The menu comes in a handwritten notebook and everything is made with local ingredients from their own farm. Try the melitzanokeftedes and the gourounopoulo, both are amazing. They also have a nice variety of Greek craft beers. Go a bit early because it gets really busy, but it’s worth the wait. Real Greek food and real people.

The cheese tarts are delicious, the fried cheese looks better than it tastes and the smoothie was alright. The place is cute but there was a lot of people. We had to get up and grab our server to get the bill after waiting for 20 minutes after he came to take our empty plates. It was also a bit expensive.

We went to O! Hamos to have our farewell lunch before leaving Milos. Although there was a waiting time, hostess managed to organize a window table for us almost instantly. Piglet and fried artichokes were delicious. Orange cake straightaway went on the top of our list of favorite desserts All staff was so friendly and welcoming specially the hostess who was so charming and lovely. What an amazing place. Everything was perfect - from food to the ambiance, clay dishes, handwritten menu with the restaurant history, spectacular view... We had the piglet and spicy baked cheese with some olives and orange pie. They also have great house wine. Excellent presentation overall.

Very good food. All dishes were very nice, especially the chickpeas and the salad. Zucchini balls didn't have a lot of flavour and the goat was probably a little over done. On the whole an enjoyable meal. Happy to recommend O!Hamos! Tavern.

Great spot and lovely staff, but peak season turns it into an Instagram battleground. Came for the sunset, got blocked by a parade of photo shoots by people seated behind us and those waiting in line. Caught the view through someone’s iPhone 😆Maybe a gentle ushering from staff would help, so those seated can see the view too.

Amazing sunset views definitely worth a visit. Note the queue was already quite large at 17:30 before they opened, so highly recommend getting there at least a half hour before they open. Not a huge deal but there were no snacks available the day we visited and they opened around 15 minutes late, again not a big deal but we had been in the queue for about 45 minutes. You can get takeaway drinks for most of the bars in Plaka so get one for the queue.

Lives up to the hype! We got there around 5:45pm and got the last table on the terrace. Service was really quick and warm despite how busy it was and the prices were very reasonable for the location. The second the sun went below the horizon almost all the bar left, so if you’d prefer not to line up I’d recommend coming a little bit after sunset. In our experience this was even more beautiful than the sunset itself (as pictured - heaps of free tables at this point)

We had a sunset cocktail at this caffe, both the Manhattan and the Negroni Bianco were great and the sunset view was fantastic. The property was meticulously maintained and the music playing provided a very nice vibe!

Visited for sunset cocktails this evening after it was recommended by a friend. Arrived at 17:45 and were lucky to be close enough to the front of the queue to get a table. The cocktails were nice (albeit very expensive!) and the view is incredible. Would recommend going early to guarantee your spot!

After visiting Greece and coming home, this Cafe/Bar has been on my mind and has left an amazing impression. The views alone are enough to want to revisit however the staff are lovely and welcoming and have great service. And the drinks are made to perfection. If you are visiting or are in the area I would highly recommend visiting Utopia. Thank you for making an amazing atmosphere for our holiday 🫶

Here definitely is one of the most stunning spot for sunset! To ensure get a spot, try to arrive by 5:30 pm! note that Mother Nature controls everything, so there will be times that the sunset is completely covered by one giant piece of cloud and there is nothing you can do about it.

Really nice place in Milos! You can eat and chill after meal in the cocktail bar! Nice view and excellent service, we had the chance that Sakis took care of us from A to Z. I recommend !

Ok. Happy hours cover only two drinks on the menu. We enjoyed a couple of very nice cocktails. A bit over priced considering what’s available around Adamatas. Well I felt I was being tough then changed my mind.

Only giving this place 1 star because 0 is not an option. They took advantage of the fact my girl friends and I were tourists, over charging us for drinks. The only good thing about this bar was the DJ - full of life and good vibes.

Visited there with my group of friends - they took full advantage of the fact that we were a group of girls/tourists and overcharged us. We only realised that they had overcharged us once we had left. Be very wary of this place!!!!!!!!!!

Great bar with beautiful views and vibes! The cocktails are amazing, Them ginger baker cocktail was our favourite! Staff are super attentive. The bar is very gay friendly. Eirini the waitress and hostess was amazing! This is definitely a must go to bar for a chilled drink or a boogie!! We’ll come back here for sure!

Had drinks here twice on a short trip because it was such a nice atmosphere and the drinks were so good. Can't recommend higher. As a gay couple we felt so welcome here too, which was a real bonus. Great chillout mix too which rounded off the scene.

Solid cocktail bar, raised from the main area so you have a better view though there’s a Seajets ferry that always seems parked and in the way. Nice view nonetheless though! We got a pornstar martini and a Negroni here and both were great. You get a little container of bar nuts too. Friendly service.

Hidden gem for more sophisticated and demanding crowds and definitely for them who know how to appreciate a glass of cocktail ! It’s probably one of the places with the most innovative and tasty cocktails I’ve ever had ( tried Suck my lips, Caribbean Secrets and Akri - first and second opinion where mind blowing for me, last one not as much ). Very nice music and good views of the harbour. Note that this is more of a chilled place; if you want to go crazy dancing… not for you! I’d also recommend it as a dating destination as you can actually talk, with the music not being too loud ( or be able to find a more private spot ) ! Good luck to all the potential love birds ! 😋

I would say that the the tastes are overratted and it's not value for money. We got 5 dishes plus ouzo and we paid 100€ without leaving a beautiful memory behind taste-wise. The atmosphere is perfect as you sit next to the sea and the stuff is polite always there with smile and kindness. The toilets do not smell well but its OK. Overall I would visit it again. Too gourmet OK, expensive dishes OK, no memorable taste NOT OK.

A local recommended me this place and I must say this is the best resto in Milos - I went back twice! The service was really good and friendly! My favourites are their cocktail (some spicy one that they recommended), fried calamari (so fresh and had the right amount of chew), spring roll (just wow). Seafood pasta and linguine with shrimps both had fresh seafood as well, but would be better if they use handmade pasta! Coffee was not bad too. They also have a complimentary lemon dessert at the end.

This place is amazing! The service was awesome and the food was fantastic! This was our favorite restaurant on the island and our favorite of the entire Greece trip! The fresh fish ceviche was so good and the flavors were amazing. The fresh fish ceviche was so good and the citrus flavors were perfect. Over the few nights we ate there we had the fresh red fish and it was cooked to perfection and seeing them serve it table side and boning it was great. He did a great job. We also got the mussels and they were so good. The cream chicken dish was very good as well. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. We were a party of 4 and we're always seated pretty quickly. The service was great and we also had wines or cocktails and they were just as good. We sat outside by the docks and enjoyed the wonderful evening views. The prices are very fair for the amount and quality of the food. We would highly recommend and will be back when we visit again!

Best food we had on the island, everything was great! Although pretty expensive it is most definitely worth it. Views of the beach were amazing. We had a reservation but if you don’t you will most likely have to be put on a waiting list. Service was fast, but the (perhaps) restaurant manager was extremely rude to the staff, constantly cursing them out and ruining the atmosphere.

Some dishes were enjoyable — the fried anchovies and cod were both nicely done. The octopus was a bit disappointing, and the sauce for the zucchini fritters wasn’t quite the right match; I think tzatziki would have complemented them better. Overall, a decent meal with room for improvement.

Where do can I begin. The taste of ocean explodes in your mouth, the fish is so fresh, by the blue ocean. George Alexander was great! We had a brilliant time will return!

This is my favorite restaurant on the island! I’ve been here several times this summer, and every single time the food has been delicious and the service exceptional. I’ve tried a variety of dishes – grilled squid, fresh fish, fried calamari, zucchini balls, risotto – and everything was absolutely tasty. If you are a group of friends, make sure to ask about the catch of the day and order it to share… simply amazing! And they give us free desert :)

We absolutely loved Verina Coffee & Brunch! Everything was amazing – from the warm and welcoming service to the beautiful terrace and the delicious food and drinks. The lady who served us several times was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. We came back multiple times during our stay and tried different dishes – each one was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Milos. Highly recommended!

Hands down a very gourmet , artisanal place for breakfast lunch and cocktails. We visited the spot for breakfast almost everyday when we were staying in plaka. The food is very well executed with amazing ingredients. We were amazed to have egg entrees drizzled with microgreens and truffle oil. The entrees are decently priced , portions were big, everything is fresh. They have the best coffee in plaka . Egg on brioche is top notch , their smoothie selections are also very nice as well as their Greek yogurt topped with very sweet and fresh fruit. The chef is very talented and staff are very friendly . You have one of the coveted view of the church next to it and the sea . Walk beyond the plaza and straight to Verina you will be rewarded with very good food.

My favorite place for breakfast or drinks in Plaka, went back at least 4 times and also ordered for takeaway! The waitress in the mornings was the kindest woman ever, always so warm and welcoming with a smile on her face! She remembered me and my husband any time we dined or walked by. The food is amazing - so delicious, so beautifully presented. It's right by the church and has a cute seating area whether you go morning or night, it's a great vibe. The freddo espresso was the best I had on the island!

We had a great time at Verina coffee. The waitresses are lovely, and the dishes are very good for a reasonable price. The place is pleasant and clean, with a beautiful view. We first discovered it for breakfast and liked it so much that we went back for lunch. Definitely an address to remember in Milos.

Hands down the best brunch in Milos. The flavors were perfectly balanced in all dishes we tried (scrambled eggs, avocado toast, mascarpone toast), together with presentation and portion size. Both Natasa and Giota were extremely polite and friendly which was the cherry on top to an already great atmosphere. Fantastic coffee also. Don't think twice, just come here.

The drinks here are excellent and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed a pinsa and a pasta, both of which were delicious. The quality of the food was a pleasant surprise for a cocktail bar. A great spot right in the heart of Plaka’s old town.

Was wonderful to sit down & enjoy the church I asked the staff members beforehand if I could sit & just admire.. but I was then moved on by the lady running the day.. why? I don’t know ?? Ps. HANDS DOWN THE BEST RESTAURANT IN GREECE. We ordered the lamb orzo and osobuko… and OMG It just falls off the bone. Not over seasoned. It STAYED MOIST, not tough. Just perfect. I literally stopped eating halfway to write this review. If I could give them 6 stars, I would give them 7 stars. I wish I was here for another day just to eat at this restaurant. Also saw the stuff tomatoes and that looked soooo good too.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!!!! The host was fabulous, they brought wine out while we were waiting in line for our table. The food was next level amazing. The lamb shank and the prawn saganaki - to die for!!! I would highly recommend this place, reasonably priced as-well.

We had a dinner at Avli last night and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant is so nicely decorated and has a special atmosphere. The waiter was so attentive and friendly. We even got free wine. The food was so incredibly good and the portions decidedly large. We have rarely eaten so well. Thanks for thos amazong evening. We will definitely come again. We recommend the restaurant to everyone. Don't miss this!

We were absolutely blown away by this place. Absolutely fantastic food, we are tough critics and the flavors had us rolling. We started with the alvi salad - fantastic combination of flavors with the proscutio, cheese and lime balsamic. My husband got the lamb shank and I got the shrimp saganaki with mastia chihos and feta. Absolutely insane. Most tender, delicious shrimp I’ve ever had in my live, so fresh and whatever they did to the sauce was amazing. Creamy, delicious, full of flavor. Literally had me lapping up every bit with bread. Fresh feta was over the moon. My husband loved the lamb shank, it was also fall off the bone tender. We loved this place so much we plan to return tomorrow to try something new during our stay.

AMAZING dinner at Avli in Plaka village. Instantly greeted by friendly staff. We sat outside on the cobble stone street which was very cute and a huge vibe. We ordered Greek salad, 2 x appetisers and 2 x mains. Lots of vegetarian options which was great as I am vegetarian. The homemade chips was insane, best I’ve had on the island. The seared artichokes were unreal. The vegetarian lasagne !!! No words, it was absolutely delicious. The boys ordered the smoked lamb and orzo which they loved. Everything was spot on and you could taste the freshness and care in the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some good, nourishing and amazingly tasteful food. We dined at 7pm and it wasn’t too busy but I can imagine it would get a lot busier.

We recently dined at Nostos, a sea-side restaurant that boasts a stunning location and glowing reviews. With such a promising setting, we arrived with high expectations—but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The menu and pricing suggest a fine dining experience, but the quality of the food fell short. The grilled calamari, for example, was an odd mix of grilled and fried pieces—lacking the clean, smoky flavor that makes properly grilled seafood shine. The presentation and execution felt more akin to a casual takeaway than a refined coastal eatery. Portions were noticeably small, which might be forgivable if the dishes delivered on flavor—but they didn’t. The chicken breast was especially disappointing: bland, dry, and tasting faintly of boiled spinach water. The cheese spread, advertised as a Greek selection, was closer in quality to a supermarket variety pack than anything artisanal or thoughtfully sourced. To be fair, the service was genuinely lovely—attentive, polite, and welcoming—and the location is undeniably beautiful. However, these positives don’t make up for food that is overpriced and underwhelming. In the end, Nostos feels like a textbook tourist trap: appealing from the outside, but lacking depth where it matters most. If you’re seeking authentic, high-quality Greek cuisine, you’d be far better off walking just a kilometre further. There, you’ll likely find a local taverna serving generous, flavorful dishes that live up to both their price and their promise.

Fantastic! One of the two best meals we had in Greece! My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic salad and shared a grilled grouper fillet. Service was excellent. The staff even showed us the fresh local fish selection inside where we could choose which one we wanted cooked. Beautiful location on the water!

We loved it here! It was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and we are so glad we decided to try it. Great service and delicious food. The calamari cacio pepe and prawn pasta were our choices after reading a few reviews and WOW, the best. The calamari was different than anything we’ve ever had. It looks like it’s a piece of fried calamari on pasta but it’s actually half of the calamari cut in pasta like strips in the sauce. Delicious!! The prawn pasta had great flavor and the prawns were huge. If we were in Milos longer we would definitely be back!

Traveling all the way from San Francisco, I had the privilege of indulging in an unforgettable culinary journey at Nostos Seafood Experience and Mangata Milos , masterfully crafted by Chef Lefteris Zafeiropoulos. Every dish was a symphony of flavors, presentation, and delight, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. The flawless service, warm hospitality, and picturesque ambiance of Mangata Milos and Nostos Seafood restaurants created a truly immersive experience. With heartfelt gratitude, I thank Executive Chef Lefteris Zafeiropoulos, Head Chef Kostas, and the entire service team for making this a truly unforgettable memory.

A pleasant meal however for the cost we were expecting better. We ordered the split pea dip with bread which was probably the favourite. The octopus lacked flavour and the prawn pasta had an odd flavouring. And for the price 4 prawns wasn't really enough. The sea urchin pasta was tasty but was a very small main. The service was professional and the setting was nice.

I had a truly delightful experience at Nostos restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to details. We stopped in here on our last night in Milos. The menus had a wide variety of options for us to choose from. The weather was cloudy and a little rain came while we were eating dinner. We were lucky to get one of the last seats under the covered area. We ended up ordering pizza, pasta and salad. Surprisingly, the service was good since it was busy. The food came out in a reasonable timeframe. The best part was the food was very good. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend this spot in the port area.

Excellent sports bar. Large TV's, patio and covered seating. Right near the port. Large portions, quick service if you are looking for something other than traditional Greek cuisine.

-avocado toast: 6/10, topped with scrambled eggs and prosciutto, the avocado was brown and not enough imo, the egg and prosciutto added nice fullness and came w a side of salad -montecristo sandwich: 9/10, French toast with cheddar cheese, ham, bacon and mayo, this was amazing the French toast bread was soft delicious it was so soft and fluffy, I added a side of egg to make the perfect breakfast sandwich also came w side salad -crepes: 9/10, look how loaded it is w strawberries, added Nutella on the side, fresh, soft and fluffy crepe -waffle: 8/10, you can get the waffle with toppings, this time got it plain and it was soft, delicious and fluffy -side of fried eggs: 🍳 came out hot & the yolk was super runny (which is my fav), added perfectly on the sandwich or even as a side dish -bread: 9/10, came complimentary, was good starter, got side of jam to add with the butter -orange juice: 10000/10, Greece is known for fresh oj, which is my absolute favorite, I hate store bought, this oj was freshly squeezed Overall, we stopped in for a quick breakfast before catching the ferry. it is right by the port so if you run late you can see the ferry pull in and quickly run over, however they are quick here and are very sweet.

Our ferry out of Milos was cancelled due to the wind, and everyone here was so nice and let us sit at the cafe while my husband waited in line at the travel agency next door. Great location, incredibly nice staff. We had some espressos and bread, and everything was great.

Food was okay, our server was not in a very good mood, giving us attitude. She only looked desperate to get her tip even if the service was very poor. I always tip 15-20%, this time I only tipped 10% as it was very poor and felt pressured to do from the waitress. In my 2 week stay i haven't experienced that in 4 different islands. In conclusion, food was good but not the service.

We were a party of 8- the server was fast and friendly, the food was excellent. The Greek pizza is delicious. Their homemade strawberry juice is good as well.

Small bakery a block away from the main road, though there are two Artemis Bakeries - apparently they’re the same though the one on the main road has a slightly different selection and more cakes. This is a grab and go spot, though it seems connected to a market where you can buy other pantry items. I got a slice of the orange cake and a sesame cookie. The cake was really good! Very sweet, tastes of orange and honey. Worth trying. The sesame cookie wasn’t very good.

Artemis Bakery looks the part with its welcoming display and delicious-smelling pastries, but while the flavours are nice, the fillings are light… good, not great. A bright, inviting bakery that catches your eye the moment you walk in. The counters are full of tempting pies, sandwiches, and sweets, and the smell alone makes you want to try one of everything. Food (3/5): We went for the chicken pie, the sausage pie, and a turkey sandwich for something fresh. The sandwich was exactly what you’d expect, simple and satisfying. The pastries were tasty, with a lovely light sweetness to the dough that we enjoyed, but the fillings were minimal. The chicken pie, for instance, had a thin layer of filling and felt mostly pastry. Maybe it’s the Aussie in me, but I like my pies properly packed. Flavour was there, just not enough of it. Service (4/5): Friendly, welcoming staff who made a good first impression. Atmosphere (4/5): Clean, cosy, and attached to a small shopping mart, which is handy if you need to grab a few bits and pieces. Overall: A pleasant bakery with nice flavours and good service, but light fillings kept it from being memorable. Worth a stop for a quick bite, but not a must-visit. Rating: 3/5 ⭐️ Looks great, tastes fine, but could use more substance inside the pastry.

Amazing bakery, surprised they have rate only 4,4 cause it should be definitely 5 stars! I’m very picky so trust me this place is gold 😍 Will be coming back every day on this trip to Milos, don’t even wanna try other bakeries on this island after this one. So much choice, amazing pizza, onion/cheese pie, great coffee (!!), baklava is perfect, not too sweet. Prices are very reasonable, we paid 14 euro for a lot of things, took food for lunch as well. Thank uuuuu 😍 Made my morning so good. P.S I saw some people gave 1 star only because someone in the bakery wasn’t smiling to them with all their 32 teeth, but come on, it’s not fair at all. Our experience was good, the workers made us feel good and welcomed, also very patient cause I always take so much time to pick what I want 😁 Everything is great!

Amazing range of traditional Greek and wider continental baked goods. They are also stocked with everyday essentials - snacks, beer, water etc, as well as serving coffee that you can sit outside and drink with your pastries. Best bakery in Milos!

Such a great beach club - the beach is stunning, lovely clear water and deep enough to have a proper swim. The sunbeds are reasonably priced (30 euro for a pair) my only complaint is you have the pay for two even as a solo traveller (solo traveller tax strikes again!). But it’s still cheaper than most beach clubs I’ve been to. The food options are also very basic, but the drinks are cold and the staff are friendly. Don’t expect frills, but the price is reasonable and fair, it’s a very lovely spot to pass the day.

Definitely worth the €20 to rent the sun loungers and parasol and relax on this stunning beach! The staff were friendly and the food/drinks not expensive. Protected from northerly winds. It wasn’t overcrowded like some of the other beaches on Milos. There are sulphur springs on the right hand side of the beach so great for exploring with a snorkel!

The best beach on the south side of the island. Excellent service and beautiful view, the beach downstairs is quiet and has scenic view for photos. Must visit this place!

I am rating this place high, but especially for the beach! It is the most colorful and naturally joyful beach you can imagine! Really nice water, nicest colored cliffs and the good looking small bebles mixed with sand. The bar itself is a very nice atmoshere, incredible sights over the beach and cliffs described above, drinks ok, but food just finger-food-like (more of a coffee and bat setting after all).

Much cheaper to rent beds than at the other side of Paliochori beach and I think the beach itself is prettier and quieter. Staff at the bar were super friendly. Had a great day here.

Just beautiful. The little cafe/snack/food place is lovely and very handy with a breathtaking view and sunbeds at the beach. Waters are super clean and the beach has very small rocks so you can easily walk bare footed if you can stand the heat. In the water you can see bubbles coming out of the bottom from the sulphur which is cool to watch and listen to when you dive your head in. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a more relaxed/quite environment than the nearby beach.

Must visit if you are visiting this part of Milos! It’s a very secluded and picturesque gulf, where only deep blue is situated! The surroundings are all rocky, so the result is really gorgeous!!

We had a fantastic dinner here on Thursday night. From the moment we were warmly welcomed by ‘Poseidon’ (when 3 of us arrived around 8pm without a booking) to being very well looked after by the friendly & professional Flivos and the whole team throughout our stay. Although it was very busy the service was efficient & responsive, and we really enjoyed every dish😋 The chargrilled octopus with fava, fried calamari and fried cheese with honey & sesame were definitely some of the best we’ve had in our 4 years of cruising around more than 80 Greek islands😊 We also enjoyed delicious fried zucchini sticks & a caprese salad (for a change!), with ouzos to start and a lovely bottle of white wine. The rising full moon completed a most memorable night in a lovely setting and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you to everyone at Malion🤗

Enjoyed multiple wonderful and memorable meals here. Having drinks to an ABBA night was one highlight! Our waiter Fivos is a great ambassador of Greek graciousness and hospitality.

We dined here two nights in a row and it was the best food and atmosphere of our entire European vacation. We ordered the fresh catch (red snapper) of the day, and Fivos and Nikos took exceptional care to ensure that our meal was perfect. We would dine here again in a heartbeat!

We ordered Mushrooms a la creme for starters, delicious. My husband ordered lamb chops, I ordered snapper. The lamb arrived 20 mins before the fish!! My husband had finished his dinner before mine even arrived. I asked twice where it was and was told "its coming now". Really upsetting as the food was well cooked and tasty. Neither of us really enjoyed what should have been a lovely dinner. If the food had arrived together I would be giving 5 stars. No reduction on the bill so no tip left.

Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for flavorful wood oven pizza or seafood. We took a chance on this place because we read the reviews and the more recent reviews after change in management said the food was good. Thankfully, we were not disappointed! Hope their ratings go up. The atmosphere is beautiful especially right after sunset. Food was delicious - we had a pizza and seafood risotto. Service was friendly and attentive.

Nice view, excellent service, good music, perfect food (finally someone who serves eggs with runny yolk!), amazing Freddo cappuccino medium sweet and reasonable prices (34 eur 2 persons and we were too full to also try the pistachio pancakes but we'll return). The terrace is partially shielded from wind. Later edit: We highly recommend the Strapatsada eggs, Smoke and silk eggs, Muffin madness, and pistacchio pancakes (which is the best dessert we've had in 2 weeks here) and Freddo cappuccino. The Greek omlette is good but nothing special and in the Scramble and smoke is very little omlette and a ton of bread that is not super tasty. I also found the pleurotus mushrooms very chewy and I'd suggest them to use champignon instead.

THE PLACE to brunch in Pollonia Whilst staying nearby this has been been my go-to for breakfast each day. Great selection from eggs to pancakes to Greek yogurt bowls (pictured) Fantastic drinks selection with coffee, smoothies, juices and the all important English breakfast tea. Central location overlooking the port. Not a huge place so that means it feels cosy and intimate. Also super friendly staff! Would recommend 🙂

📝 Good place where you can have breakfast in Pollonia. 🍴 Ordered a cappuccino, one of their fresh juices and a yoghurt bowl with honey, fruits and cereals: it was huge (so I recommend to rather share it) but really, really good! 📍 It's nicely located on the upper floor of the house so you get an extra nice view of the bay.

Atmosphere is nice, you have a beautiful sea view but cannot say the same about food. Brunch is way below average! Not tasty and did not seem fresh! Won’t recommend it!

We were visiting the beach and decided to grab some lunch. The Aqua Loca Beach Bar was the spot. They have a very good snack menu that you can eat on the patio. The patio is nestled between the lounge chairs on both sides. They also get the same snack and bar food. However you must pay to access the chairs. We just wanted lunch, so we didn't inquire. The food was ready with a short wait. We had gyros, Greek salad, shrimp wrap, and one of the club sandwiches. Everything was good. The best part was the amazing view of the beach and the nice breeze off the ocean. We would definitely go back.

Aqua Loca is like an oasis in the desert. A fabulous place to cool off and relax after exploring the Island of Milos. It is located on the idyllic expanse of Paliochori beach. Fabulous staff, comfortable beach chairs and refreshing drinks. It is overpriced but that is all Greece beach bars .The beach has small stones and sand and the water is crystal clear. It is one of the most picturesque beaches on Milos in my opinion. Tranquillity by the sea. A must when visiting Milos.

Spent most of the day here, reasonable bed cost 15 Euro each for basic bed, more for doubles. The beach was great, weekend so quite busy.

Awful place with even worse service, avoid at all costs. Below is my ‘Greek salad’ just cherry tomatoes and a few blobs of feta cream??? I was charged extra for real feta that I had to ask for. Music is also rubbish and too loud it’s like migraines fuel! :( such a lovely location ruined by lack of taste and service.

Cactus Cafe Bar is located in the picturesque little village of Pollonia on Millos. It is a great spot to sit back and relax over a cold drink, coffee or cocktail. It provides a wonderful view of beach and its surrounds. The charming Mirena will take good care of you and provide tips on what to see and do in Pollonia. You can also get some light meals and according to my wife on of the best Tommy’s Margaritas in the Cyclades. I highly recommend dropping into the Cactus Café Bar and say Hi to Mirena and enjoy the vista overlooking Pollonia.

Beautiful view from the restaurant overlooking the bay. The owner makes delicious drinks, some classics and some specialty cocktails. We tried multiple drinks and enjoyed all of them. We did not try the food. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for places to go in Milos and places to go in Athens.

We had a delicious breakfast with amazing service by a lovely young brunette woman (I can’t believe we didn’t catch your name- sorry!) and she was very helpful catering to me and mum being celiac (gluten free). We went back again the next day for cocktails and the amazing view. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had! Lastly, we had the same server who gave us so many recommendations for Athens as she lives there in the winter. Such amazing service and experience! Give this girl a raise!!

Went here with my one year old baby and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was quiet in the afternoon so there was no reservation needed. Had the worst experience in a coffee shop in Greece , the 2 staff members looked like they didn’t want to work and there attitude towards customers was disgraceful. There coffee and sandwiches I purchased was disgusting , tasted stale and the coffee was not made to what I asked for .When I went back to tell them about my coffee they looked at each other and swore in greek how ever unfortunately for them I understood what they said. The place I can’t even call a Coffee shop needs barista and customer service training . For them there business relys on us tourist for only 6 months of the year and they could not be bothered .

Café Aragosta was close to our hotel in Milos, so we visited it every morning for a small breakfast. It also has quite a neat outdoor area. The selection of coffee and other drinks is good. They have also sandwiches with different toppings, typical Greek pastries, and various other snacks such as granola bars. It would be nice if there was a larger selection of vegetarian Sandwiches. The staff was neither noticeably friendly nor unfriendly, but rather neutral. The prices are good and reasonable for what you get. All in all nothing special. For anyone staying nearby, it is a good and quick option for breakfast. However, from our point of view, there seem to be many comparable cafes in the city.

This cocktail bar is located just in front of the harbor and it's terrase has a beautiful view on the yachting harbor. The bar offers a relaxing athmosphere and is inviting to sip a longdrink after a typical greek dinner. Prices are elevated, especially for greek conditions, but this bar is there for tourists. We enjoyed the stay.

A beautiful bar with excellent stunning views over the harbor, boats, ferry and sea. The drinks were definitely worth the money, although a bit more expensive. We were given some nuts to nibble on with our drinks. We were served very courteously throughout. Card payment is possible. From me a clear recommendation due to the exceptionally beautiful location and view.

The bar sits up a steep staircase. Its a small and cozy place. They have an extensive drink menu. The staff was very friendly. There were no tables outside but they moved us right when one opened up. Nice place to grab a drink!

We loved our dinner here. We arrived just after opening and the staff warmly greeted us. The pork belly was divine. The cheese pies were also among our favorites on the islands. We went with a different salad than the traditional Greek and really enjoyed it. We also loved the after dinner chocolate biscuit. We wished we would have bought several to go.

Home made gem! By far, one of the best restaurants in Milos and beyond, the quality and freshness of the food was a stand out! The slow cooked pork was the best I’ve had in all of Greece, local gem, reasonably priced, a definite must! Don’t waste your time and money going to the tourist traps, eat local and support this gem!

We ate at Zygos 3 times during our trip! The staff were so friendly and nice. One night, we went late around 9pm and it was extremely busy we had to queue, which was no problem at all because we knew how good the food was but they gave us free wine whilst waiting for a table which was so kind. Each member of staff work so hard here and still remain happy and friendly. The food was phenomenal, so fresh and tasted amazing. We really recommend the feta cheese with honey, the meatballs and the lamb chops. They even give you free homemade dessert at the end, which also tastes incredible. We had to keep coming back here for the amazing food, service and atmosphere!

Vibey Greek tavern on the outskirts of town. Cute outdoor terrace for seating, a family ran Resturant. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. A good menu with veg options and lots of yummy Greek dishes. Everything we ate was super fresh, delicious and could tell was cooked with love. We arrived around 7pm and it began getting quite busy around 7:30-8 so go earlier if you want guaranteed table! The hot honey feta was to die for. They gave us a complimentary desert at the end. Great portions and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good quality Greek dishes and friendly service!

Plathiena is such a great beach spot. Not the prettiest but still a nice beach. More like a normal beach. As with most places in Milos, I arrive around 9:00-9:30am and secured a great beach spot. After 11:00 people start arriving almost at the same time. The water is crystal clear and gorgeous. There’s also a beach cafe close by to get coffee and water. They may serve food-not sure. Definitely worth a visit for a swim before the masses head down around midday. The sun beds are 25€ each so 50€ for two with a table per day. A little expensive regarding the location. They had a thing that makes it possible for wheelchair users to go down the water which is super cool if that’s needed. Good place for parking. No issues. The bar had wifi and toilets 🚽

If you choose one beach to swim in Milos, make it this one. The water is wonderful clear, calm, and perfect for a long swim. Bring your own water or grab something from the small beach bar, the people there are nice. Great place to relax, play some beach rackets, and spend the whole day by the sea. Simple, beautiful, and worth it.

Wonderful beach in milos. Our favourite from our trip. The views from the car to get there are equally as amazing as the water. A large beach with plenty of room for your towels. The water is insanely clear and not too deep, you can get very far in the water before not being able to reach the bottom.

This beach has a very nice colournof sea which is like emerald and there is a beach bar which is not found in Milos in every beaches. From 9.00 am, it is getting crowded and the roads are very narrow. So come early to avoid cars passing in the road issue and and enjoy this beautiful sea. Also there are sunbeds and umbrellas.

Our favorite beach in Milos. Even on a windy day, it was safer to swim here compared to other beaches. The color of the water is stunning. You can walk meters and meters on soft sand until your upper body is in the water.

A must visit for sunset! The beach is quiet with free parking and absolutely stunning for sunset. Be careful, especially if traveling by car, that the roads to and from are very tight. Plan to leave before it gets too dark!

One of the best beaches at Milos. In fact, it is my second favorite after Sarakiniko Beach. Very scenic and has a lovely cute restaurant on the beach. So we get all the beer we want and some snacks if you want to nibble.

Found Egoist whilst waiting for our morning ferry to arrive. The Greek yogurt honey walnut power bowl was delicious. The continental breakfast was good but basic. Coffee was ok but have had better. Overall it’s not a bad place to sit and wait for a ferry and have a bite to eat.

you must try the cocktail milo’s oasis! Staff were really friendly. The chocolate crepe was amazing. It’s kinda expensive but they have a good selection of items in the menu. We enjoyed a lot our time in there.

Came here for happy hour on the first night and got pink aperols. Divine and cheap for 7€. Came back 2 nights later to get happy hour again and food. Drinks AMAZING, food absolutely divine- highly recommend the lemon chicken pasta (yum and fresh). Greek mojito is also just as nice. The service is sublime, the staff are kind and attentive- if you’re looking for a satisfying meal or drink fix, this is the place!

The menu looks like it was created with little to no enthusiasm and unfortunately the same was true for the ordered drinks. A basil smash without smashed leaves of basil is a missed opportunity. It is like ordering a coffee and receiving brownish water. Much better drinks can be found closeby in other bars for the same price. The place had live music with a charge of 3€ per person. The waiter informed about this right away, which I think is good communication.

Come here for live music from 9pm! Don't be scared off by the overall poor rating of the venue. If you are looking for good quality live music, affordable drinks and a positive atmosphere then here is the place to visit! Cannot comment on the food as they didn't seem to serve any from 9pm.

If you like live music (not on Sundays), this place has a live music that is great. Music is not too loud, they play known songs (mainstream) and they are nice to listen to.

Absolutely incredible! Beautiful rooftop overlooking the coast of Milos. We had lunchtime cocktails and nibbles, then came back the next day for waffles, and the next night for more cocktails! We were walking through Plaka and the weather was windy and a little rain. Decided to stop and get a coffee and snack to pass the time. We found this cafe upstairs with an awesome view. We ordered a variety of items Greek coffee, ice cream and cookies, watermelon pie, and a few other drinks. The food and drinks were very good. The most impressive part was the view! I would recommend a stop here.

We stopped by Buddha-Bar Beach for just a few hours before catching our ferry—and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived: super friendly, warm, and genuinely attentive. We even got to meet the owner, who welcomed us with complimentary shots (such a lovely touch!). The views are absolutely stunning—classic Milos coastline vibes, perfect for a final drink or a full afternoon of lounging. They serve ice-cold draft beer, a great selection of cocktails, and host events like pre-wedding parties (which we can totally see being an unforgettable experience here). It’s just a short walk from the pier, making it a perfect pre-ferry hangout spot. We left feeling like we’d just discovered one of Milos’ hidden gems. Can’t recommend it enough—Buddha Bar is a vibe.

Great beach bar. The ambiance is excellent. We were greeted as we walked up. We all ordered specialty cocktails and light bites. Drinks and food were fantastic. We will be coming back.

Nice bar near the Little beach just 5 min walk from the port. The set of two sunbeds and one umbrella costs 40eur and includes a bottle of water. Other shades with a table and two chairs were 45eur and you can drink or eat for the price of 45eur. The beach has small stones at the beginning but when you walk further the bottom is sandy. The bar is very nice and clear with plenty of options for sitting and nice shade. WC was very clean. Service was good. The spot is very nice to watch the tender boats service from the cruise ship to the port and easily plan your timing for the return to the ship.

Coffee was tasty but overall this is an overpriced beach front coffee shop and bar. 4.50 for the coffees and 40 euros for the sunbeds and parasol, with the added benefit of listening to very loud music mid day. It was a very quick stop for us (without the sunbeds)

I recently visited Buddha-Bar in Milos and was truly disappointed by the experience. The staff's attitude was completely unacceptable—rude, unwelcoming, and indifferent to the guests. Despite the place not being particularly busy, I had to wait over an hour to be served. There was no apology or explanation, and it felt like they simply didn’t care. For a place that presents itself as upscale, the level of service was shockingly poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting decent hospitality or basic respect. Definitely not worth the hype.

I have been to the Buddha bar in Mykonos so I knew we’d be paying more for the experience than it’s worth, but holy mother of Milos were we underwhelmed with the vibe and energy here. This seemed like the corner of the island that good energy goes to die. Respectfully please believe me when I say you should spend your € elsewhere

Firstly, it’s €40 for an umbrella set now. That’s neither here nor there as you’re either willing to pay for it or not. The concern was the food. They’re presenting that they’re a premium offering but of the three dishes the easiest, pita and dips, was the tastiest. The Buddha Salad was okay but light-on in substance. The Meatballs were the worst, four tasteless and well spread-out balls when presented. It’s a shame too as this place could be anything if they invested a little more in the quality of their food given the location and atmosphere they’ve created.

Lovely spot for a relaxed lunch by the beach. Peaceful atmosphere, fair prices, friendly service, and tasty food with just the right portion size. Perfect for a slow moment in the sun – I’d happily return for sunset.

Very polite lady serving and always with a smile. You can book a sunbed or just sit on the front chairs, order a cold beer, and enjoy the moment with the sea right in front of you. Best to go early around 10 am when it’s quiet and not full of tourists. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach from morning to sunset.

Plathiena is wonderful beach. Beach bar offers quite of variety of food of average quality. Ok for lunch on beach.

Everything was perfect. Smiling servers, amazing food under acceptable prices. Pork gyros was to die for. Wheelchair access everywhere. Even to the actual sea was amazing thought from them. Clean, nice, fresh produce.

The beach is beautiful, the view on the sunset is stunning; it is also very dirty though, it’s full of microplastics and cigarette butts that the staff does not collect. Unfortunately we had the worst experience on this beach: we arrived and asked for an umbrella and two sun beds. A polite lady answered we could sit anywhere, except the first two rows. There were six or seven umbrellas available in the other rows (3 & 4), so we chose one and she followed us for the payment by credit card. We paid and went for a swim. After one hour and a half the same lady came back, and not very politely said that we had to leave because we had chosen an umbrella reserved by somebody else. She reluctantly said it was her mistake, but I understand some Greek and with her colleagues she was blaming us for choosing the reserved umbrella. If she knew that the umbrella was taken why did she take the payment from us, I wonder? At that point there were no umbrellas available so we had no other options than leave. But being treated so badly we would have changed beach anyway. We got our money back and spent our other ten days in Milos on other wonderful beaches. I don’t suggest this place.

Lovely spot with a spectacular beer selection (draft and bottled) and great hospitality. My gluten free friend said he had the best cider of his life here (cider is local from Cyprus yum). We grabbed a beer and then went over to watch the sunset. Excellent!

Unbelievably thorough selection of beers at this little hidden brewery/bar. Their own Syrma lager was super tasty, too. Service wasn't very friendly but it was quick and efficient. If you're in Plaka, seek it out and have a beer. You definitely won't regret it!

Small beer shop/tap in Plaka. They make their own beer, have a few local Greek beers on tap and a pretty big selection of local canned beers. Fun place to try and we even met the brewer while we were enjoying a few beers.

Best place in Plaka. A huge variety of local and rare beers you won’t easily find elsewhere. The owner truly knows his craft and loves what he does, always ready to suggest the perfect beer for your taste. Friendly atmosphere, excellent selections, good music, retro interior design , and a genuine passion for beer.

An unforgettable experience! Sailing at sunrise was absolutely magical, and the atmosphere on board made it even more special. The Greek/Italian hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, preparing a delicious breakfast and an outstanding lunch with so much care. Everything felt authentic and unique, from the stunning views to the amazing food. Truly one of a kind – highly recommended!

Amazing. The most beautiful and soulful sailing trip we ever had ! Everything was very carefully explained by Cristina & Manolis (the captains). The views were incredible, the timing perfect and with the sunrise everything looked even more incredible. The choice of the areas the boat stops in is absolutely perfect. Cristina gives a lot of very funny and interesting informations. She also took such good care of us, it was a bit like sailing with your mom or your family. Thank you so much for this perfect day and experience. You can book with your eyes closed !

Amazing experience. One of the best activities we did in Milos. It was really fun, the owners are amazing people and made the trip even better. The spots we visited were amazing. Everything was just great, I fully recommend it.

Katarina and her husband are amazing hosts during our sunrise sailing trip! Nice small groups visiting the best quiet spots and amazing mornings swims through caves. Way better pricing then other trips. Definitely a succes!

Highly recommend a gorgeous sailing yacht crewed by charming and attentive host and captain. Delicious home cooked breakfast and lunch and drinks. Visiting special swim spots in breathtakingly beautiful areas across Milos' coastline. very good value for money!.

This is the best day! Christina and Manoli are brilliant hosts. The sights and food (freshly cooked by Christine) were amazing. Have no hesitation in booking this trip.

Warning to all tourists! These guys gave us menus that had the correct pricing (local) and even printed a receipt that reflected this pricing. When it came to payment time, the man then charged us a lot more than what was on the menu and when questioned, he said the menu was wrong. We were already spending over 50 euro here and apparently that wasn’t enough. This was a classic example of taking advantage of tourists because they think they can get away with it. I actually have a Greek background funny enough so disgusting to get a taste of what they probably do to other tourists. Absolute malakies.

Recently I came with some friends to take some drinks and they didn’t allow us to enter only to be dancing and singing in another place outside the club. Therefore they didn’t give us any explain and the manager and employees were so rude with us.

Music is not good, not cheap enough for the low quality of the place. It has a kind of nice view. Only strange guys bothering us. Toilets were super dirty. DO NOT GO.

* Tourist trap avoid* I was really looking forward to a shisha in Milos, and this place looked like it was gonna be good. Not only was the place dead, the waiter charged us wrong, and lied about prices even though we had a receipt that said otherwise.

Boring place full of strange guys that only want to bother the girls inside. The staff was acting in a discriminatory way. The bathroom was so dirty also, like the people was peeing in the floor.

WORST PLACE IN THE ISLAND!! Staff so rude and unpolite, and also kind of racist. They treat as so bad. Please make you a favour and go somewhere else.

A very nice secluded beach with fine sand and a beach bar with the most comfortable double sunbeds and lovely chill music! Valeia was super attentive and nice. The Sunset cocktail wasn't on my taste and Aperol mediocre but we really loved the Freddo cappuccino, Hitana cocktail and Greek salad! Today there was a strong wind from North that blows in your face but even so, we've spent almost 7h here. There was a changing room, shower and a clean toilet that had wet wipes, sink with soap /water and mirror. There's also parking space. Would be nice to have more variety for the food and Cuba Libre on the menu.

Nice beach bar, good service. Unfortunately very loud music which completely ruined atmosphere . There are only few organised beaches close to Polonia. If you want to have sunbed you have to cope with really loud music. What is unfair is a fact that in the lunch time when we decided to stay, music was still normal. Getting louder and louder…

Amazing beach bar. There were seats abatible when I arrived and there’s lots of parking. The cabanas were 35 euros and beach chair set was 30 euros. Great service they come up to you and bring your food and drink. I don’t normally like beach clubs but this one they had the seats spread out and the water was perfect and secluded.

Bar with loungers on the beach. Loungers 35 first row for two. There are toilets and shower. Peaceful and relaxing spot. Service is great. Cocktails are amazing. Best beach bar I have been to in Milos. Highly recommended.

This is the best beach club in Milos and I will simply explain to you why. The best service and staff, the best weather (shady) , and the best food and drinks. Especially good food for a beach club and the prices are reasonable. You’re all welcome. Enjoy

Lovely beach bar! A bit expensive, but the service was very good. The lady who worked there was very friendly. The beach Bar has a really nice atmosphere and the sunbeds are very good and comfortable. The beach there is ok, it's a bit small, nothing to special but still nice and clean waters.
