One of the best dining experiences I had in last year or two. The restautsnt is authentic and in old "wooden" style. The stuff is fast, very polite and professional and all of them speak english well. The food was amasing, everything we tried I can give 5 stars. Just perfect detailed flavours and good portions. You need to try green gnocchi alle erbe! Even the "dolce" at the end and the local digestive they offered was exactly how to finish a good meal. We payed 112€ at the end for 2 persons, eataing 2 starters, salad, 2 main meals and a bottle of Prosecco and 1 dolce. It was worth it.

This beautiful restaurant is a lovely place to bring your spouse or significant other to spend an intimate evening! It is located towards the center of town! I would consider it a very fairly priced fine dining! The food was divine as well!

I’d like to say that this was one of the nicest dining experiences we’ve had! A very welcoming and polite staff members, who managed to secure us a table for one hour to have a quick dinner - it was much appreciated! The food was absolutely fantastic, cooked to perfection, with flavours to keep one’s taste palette fully satisfied🤩 The tuna tartar, the roast beef, the mash, the absolutely thrilling twist on tiramisu - we could only say 10/10, and grazie mille❤️

I was looking for a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and a local gentleman from a grocery store recommended Ottone. I was able to make a reservation three days in advance because it was fully booked. I was glad we made it and enjoyed the amazing food, atmosphere, and the history of this family. It was a memorable experience from Italy in Bassano del Grappa.

Great restaurant near the center of charming Bassano del Grappa. We enjoyed a leisurely Saturday lunch in September. The restaurant was full, mainly with Italians, people out shopping, etc. A very local feel. Despite the name “Birraria” more people were drinking wine than beer. From Napoleon to the Second World War, to the founders' business innovations, Nardini has a breadth of history to explore. But we know we’re all really interested in the Grappa! I’m a big fan of Grappa, I collect it everywhere I travel in Italy. Nardini has been on my bucket list for years, and it did not disappoint. The Grappa was excellent, the location and history are magical, the tour and tasting exceeded my expectations!

This place belongs to the very old distillery Nardini. Distillery of grappa spirit. It is placed at the end (or begining? ) of Alpini bridge. This bridge was designed by Palladio and named after the Alpini. Alpini are mountain (Alpi) troops of Italian army. They are utmost respected from local people because of their courage and abnegation during WW1. Here you can taste the famous 'tagliatella' a liquor (not very alcoholic).

We did their Grappa tour with Nicole who was amazing and so enthusiastic. We had a tasting and really got an amazing history lesson on the area as well as the Grappa. Worth the money for the tour.

I love Nardini grappa, always have and always will. Simply the best Italian Grappa in my opinion. It was a bucket list to visit here and it did not let me down. A wonderful venue, and a great opportunity to taste the upper level and more select grappas. And this unfortunately is where I felt disappointed....the staff were not very engaging and not very welcoming. They quite simply made me feel awkward with my engagement and questions. Coming from a country where the barman is also a salesman, i.e they welcome you with a smile and a bit of banter. IMO, experienced and good barmen should be able to help you in selecting something different and put you at ease with the higher price of something more select if the quality is higher and maybe requires a little bit of explanation as to why. I absolutely did not feel that here and had to sell the idea to myself as to why I would pay a premium price for a bottle of an older grappa. After getting the bottle home I was not disappointed, it was pure heaven, but I could not help myself thinking back to my negative experience in the Nardini bar and the coldness from the two barmen on duty. I honestly believe that with a smile and a bit more friendliness and enthusiasm Nardini could quadruple their sales at this particular venue. I could only dream of working in such a venue in such a historical and gorgeous town. Sláinte a Bassano del Grappa and Nardini.

Our tour with Nikola was amazing. She gave us history of both the town as well as the distillery. You did the tasting with the aged grappas and cheese. It was great to try these pairings together. Even though there was a very active child on the tour, Nikola handled it very well. She was funny, informative, and fun. Definitely recommended.

Bassano del Grappa, in Vicenza, is the picturesque town for which one of Italy’s most famous drinks is named. At the entrance to the covered Palladium-designed Ponte degli Alpini, which offers gorgeous views across the Brenta River to the Venetian Pre-Alps (pictured above), you’ll find the Nardini bar. Founded in 1779 it’s Italy’s oldest grappa bar and the ideal place to enjoy a nip.

Worth a trip to Bassano di Grappa just to dine at this delightful ristorante on Piazza Garibaldi.. Each selection we had was amazing.. especially the chef’s appetizer creation of mashed potatoes, Asiago cheese topped with a deep fried soft egg and shaved black truffles.. cost (13€!!) I think we had it twice.. Also the 7 layer lasagna with paper thin pasta. My mouth is still watering. Great service, and we especially like sitting on the patio facing the church & piazza.

I had the pleasure of dining at Danieli, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was both relaxing and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. A special mention goes to our waiter, Saarah, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her warm demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. It is also 5 mins walk away from the famous bridge. I highly recommend Danieli for anyone looking for a fantastic dining or drinking experience. I will definitely be returning soon!

Tagliolino alle Vongole not only suprised me with Bottarga (which I knew from Sardegna - and was better than what I´ve brought home from my last trip in May^^), but with the sliced and sauted Vongole. Great! The Piovra was cooked nicely, then grilled and it was perfect. Served with not the usual mashed potatoes, but with some great candied tomatoes and a pinch of salicon made this a dish I hope to eat again. Soon. :) The staff was all nice and welcoming, if you need something just ask and they will do their best. Prices are reasonable, too. Grazie mille for letting me celebrate a nice "day after my Birthday". Next time, I´ll start my motorbike tour a day earlier to be there in time. :)

Dinner for two. Main courses were good, but not really superior, tiramusu was better than in Rome, waiters very professional, whole interior very noble and tidy. I recommend this place for lovers - take your sweetheart here for a fancy dinner without going bankrupt.

A wonderful place on the side of the main piazza. Been there twice so far, and both times the food was super delicious. Some items are a bit pricy, but all of them were perfect in both taste and presentation. The service was impeccable and welcoming. Will try a third time for sure :)
