Food was okay, had the small pizza but came out the same size as the big one! The service was very attentive, a little slow because it was quite packed. We really enjoyed the overall experience.

The restaurant is located almost in the center. There is a parking lot nearby. The interior of the place is beautiful, there is a lot of space. There are also tables outside. The food looks very tasty. But we ordered a Burger and pizza. It was impossible to eat pizza because it was very spicy. The burger was undercooked , the cutlet in the middle was red and raw .

We were advised to book a table in advance. This is a French style restaurant with chef dishes and not suitable for regular family dinners. The menu was quite limited. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, however the food was brought by a youngster wearing a big sweatshirt which was not very appetizing.

What a great spot! The staff members care so much and were so thorough when it came to food allergies. They even made a special list of things that were safe for me to eat with my rare allergy, and then made an accommodated dish that was safe to eat. Doesn't live up to its hype. The food was pretty good. They have a lot of beers but it's a strange selection and they don't have a comprehensive beer menu. Moreover, the staff we had knew nothing about the beers. Our teenage waitress didn't know IPA is a style -- she thought it was a beer name (which I'll admit was cute). Otherwise, it was okay. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Spacious.

Located in the former post office building close to the Dordrecht Centraal station it's one of the most popular, friendly, affordable and lovely places to have lunch or dinner. We recently dined at this establishment as a group of nine, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. After reading several positive reviews, we anticipated much more, but only one person in our group was truly satisfied with their meal. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including burgers, steak, and a selection of shared plates. While the food was decent, nothing stood out as particularly memorable, especially given the higher price point. The quality didn’t quite justify the cost. One detail that further detracted from the experience was the issue with the iced tea. We specifically requested Lipton Iced Tea, but what we received didn’t taste like it, and we later noticed staff using a different brand. While a small detail, it left us questioning the transparency of the service. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, with average food and a few service inconsistencies. For the price and the reviews, we expected more.

Hippy restaurant with wooden seats, service is very friendly, food freshly made with love. Just you have to wait to long for your order. About an hour 🕛 but you can take some starters and than is waiting time not a problem. Toilets available. Located on an pedestrian zone, no parking around.

Excellent everything! You can find snacks anywhere in the netherlands but most are frozen premade snacks but here you can clearly tell the snacks were homemade and were very delicious. The only thing that could’ve been improved was the Nachos but still good. Best bitterballen I ate in the Netherlands by far. Cozy backyard, nice staff, delicious and fun cocktails. Service was quite fast and prices were very reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back and wish I had this bar in my hometown. Highly recommended!

This place is so cozy. They have a covered, heated area out back with couches and low tables. Great place to stay for a while. They serve a selection of very nice wines for reasonable prices. The food is really, really good too. It was hard to leave that couch, man. I'll definitely come here again next time I'm in Dordrecht.

Wondering were to eat in the centre of beautiful Dordrecht, we decided to ask some locals. This was the best decision, because we were redirected to the "best burgers in the city" as it was presented. We were welcomed by friendly staff in the crowded stylish place. After a cold beer the tempting burgers came and the result was amazing! I now believe that this are the best burgers in town.

Cute family business, the new terrace is lit I love it , music is always on point though..and the food is delicious.. the drink are reather to expensive and I don't really like how they try to push u to keep drinking the whole time but simply deny the offers and enjoy the food and sfare.

We sat at their outdoor tables and had an iced matcha and a long black coffee. I didn’t really like the matcha, it was just so-so. The coffee seemed a bit pricey. The interior decor looks nice. Every time I pass by this place, there’s a queue for cookies inside, they really look delicious 😋 One day, I’ll come back to try a cookie too.

Coffee, cookies and panini were very good (loved the raspberry cookie and the chilli jam was very nice). I found the pancakes a bit thick and dry but still nice as well. Overall the place was cute and the service very friendly. It was also busy when I went so it was very loud.

Almost perfect! Its decoration is my favorite! We had a table with a view to the canal, and i personally think its one of the cutest thing to do. Anesthetic to the max! The menu is not that big, bit has a lot of options Food was OK. Not outstanding, Sadly OK, because when i come to such a nice place like this one, im really hoping that the food matches the place. but still, if you have 30-60 min to stop by and grab a bite, do so. Its a great place to be . Dont expect too much in service. I dont knoe if it was because was early morning on a Monday and a bit busy but we did not get much of it. We had to walk to the counter twice to ask for more coffee and a cake.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. We sat outside in the sun and loved the avocado dishes. Very delicious and reminded us of our home in Australia where we haven’t been able to go back for so long! Our two girls aged 5&7 loved the food as well. Last night was a huge disappointment .Our order was taken electronically at the same as the couple next to us. It took over an hour for our food to arrive by which time the other couple had finished their meal. We had enquired why the saté and burger were taking so long but even then nothing arrived for a while. The saté looked most unappetising, no bok choi as on the menu ,only a handful of beansprouts hidden under the meat which was 3 large chunks not even on a skewer.The dried up dark brown sauce covered the whole plate and looked awful. In fairness the chicken was tender and the chips good. We have been to Finn's every time we visit Dordrecht, and loved it. Not sure we will return.

Love going here with a good book and just watch the world go by. The staff are so lovely and the food is amazing!! Today I had the tomato soup and prawn salad but honestly everything on the menu is delish. I always choose the brown bread.... lush!!

With restaurants only open for take-away (or delivery) we decided to try Finn’s. The personnel makes a difference from the moment they pick up the phone; friendly, chatty and warm... you wouldn’t know they were fighting for their existence. The menu is very accessible, which is easy if you have picky kid at home. The portions are sizable and the quality is good (carrying the food home in packaging does take the edge off a bit). We will definitely be back when they reopen!

On 23.03.2025 in the evening, a blonde girl ( she said she was a responsible manager at that evening ) was so rude to us that she brought my friend to tears. We came to celebrate a birthday in this restaurant, we order 4 sweets , two glasses of cola , one glas of water and one glass of spa red When we finished, we asked kindly to split the bill for 3 person . The “ manager “ girl refused immediately, she said she don’t have a time for this , one should pay and then we have to use “ tikki” or whatever we want . We refused, we say , then each one of us will pay for itself . She said , no , One should pay for all .. when we refused second time , she said she will do exception and let everyone pay . She also add that in busy evenings she don’t have time for this kind of way of payments , but It was not busy .. !! So , finally we agreed. My friend would pay for two and rest of us will pay for each other , Three payments for four person . My friend pay for two and second girl wanted to pay for herself but she got a bill for two person! When we asked why she had to pay for two persons , the “ manager “ said : it’s her own fault, she pressed her pas and payed .. I am not responsible for her mistake ! It was awful! It was not nice . It was not service , it was not klasse We asked for manager , she said she was the only manager , we asked owner , he was not present The attitude to words is was very hostile!! At the end she add : You were having nice time with each other , you could pay with Tikkie ! But it is not her place to decide how we should pay !!! If she would asked kindly .. maybe ,but not Demanding , not with that kind of attitude, not with this rudeness!!! She was angry , irritated, not friendly . At the end , we said , we will never come back ..” it’s your choice” - she said very indifferently.. We suspect that attitude is caused by the fact that we were not Dutch. This is a disgusting example of discrimination.. Very pity .. our attentions were to memorise and spend a nice moment with our friend, instead we went out very disappointed.

We stopped by for a merenda here from a long walk around the town. Nice little pancakes, just a bit too buttery and sugary for my taste. We had the ones with Nutella topping. Coffee was proper. Quaint ambiance, very cosy place to chill.

Recently visited with my family, we’ve been visiting this exact restaurant for generations. My dad is from the area but we live in England. Coming here was always a highlight of our holiday. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be returning. The food was delicious, the service was shocking. We were told we’d ’have to wait a long time for food because everyone else had to eat first’ which I kind of the deal with a restaurant right? Then we moved outside just before our food was bought out as the restaurant must have been about 40 degrees Celsius, there were no outside tables available until this point and my 3 month old was really struggling inside. This was a massive issue, so much tutting and eye rolling because the table needed to be cleared. Such a shame as they really are the best poffertjes around!

Enjoy family recipe Poffertjes with cinnamon or rum and perhaps a local liquor on the side. Visser's has a partnership with Rutte Distillery based in Dordrecht since 1890.

When in Dordrecht, you should visit this old and traditional pub! We wanted to eat poffertjes and they are traditionally made here which is great. They use buckwheatflour for the dough which is a healthier and better flour and also suitible for a glutenfree lifestyle. The service was a bit so-so, but probably typical for a pub. In general a good portion for a fair price with lots of butter and sugar! :)

These pancakes are a must-have when visiting Dordrecht. I came straight from Rotterdam just to eat them and I can say that this was so far the best dish I have tried in the Netherlands. Speaking of the place, it’s super cozy and quaint - definitely worth visiting!! Totally recommend!

You can choose from several “tastings” which provide you with a four-beer exploration of some lesser-known brands. Good cafe for beer lovers, although location-wise it is a bit traffic-sensitive.

This place has great pizza and the atmosphere inside is very nice. We got our order taken quite fast and did not wait a lot of time for the food. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The cocktails were not so great tho. I had a gin & tonic and a whisky sour but they didn't taste very good, they were just fine. I totally recommend this place for a good pizza.

Had drinks and Panini. Went for their Pizzas but thats available after 5 PM (That's fine, we didn't know that 😉) Food arrived on time and the taste was good. But extremely unwelcoming waitress is there, the vibe felt kind of strange.

Adult menu had really nice options. Our food was great. No English menu, but the staff were very nice! We want to go back for date night sometime.

We were here with friends for dinner on a Saturday evening but it was really quiet. The staff is friendly but the food is really overpriced. My husband ordered the falafel as a starter. The presentation was very bad. There were few falafel balls on the side and the plate looked like if there was missing something. The falafel was dry and hard. His salmon was also not really tasty and for the price you would expect much more. My main dish was very nice and tasty that was the Vegaköfte. And the portion was large. The food was really nothing special and i would not complaint if it was cheaper. The service is also slow and if the customers left they didn’t clean the tables immediately. I am not coming back for dinner maybe for a drink.

This is clearly a popular restaurant as we were barely able to get a table at 4.30 on a Monday afternoon and when we left they were turning people away. I can see why as it offers the sort of inoffensive, straightforward menu that works well for families and groups. We ended up seated in a booth at the far end of the restaurant and this worked very nicely. It felt quite private and the ambient noise level remained low even as the other tables filled up. Unfortunately this also meant that our service was intermittent and for some reason our main course took forever to arrive. Which was odd considering that it was mostly burgers and ribs with fries. So hardly high-end cooking requiring elaborate culinary techniques. Still the food was fine if somewhat dull. More along the lines of a decent supermarket ready-meal rather than a restaurant experience but at a restaurant price. If you're looking for a comfortable bar with plenty of beer and a menu that'll be acceptable to everyone then you'll do fine at Restaurant De Beren. But if you're hoping for something special then perhaps you should walk on by.

Great Experience! Best Ribs I had in the Netherlands, the sauce was perfect and the fries were on point. Even the corn was tasty. They are very generous with the portions and the meat is very juicy. Visited in Summer so we sat outside and the ambiance was great. Would highly recommend.

This is a very well located bar/restaurant right in the centre of the town. The interior has a bit of a tropical inspiration, but the wooden bar and booths give you a sense of comfort. The service is fast, nice and the menu has enough variety to make a decent meal. The coffee with the cupcake is a nice touch, but the cupcake was a bit dry. Overall it's a great place to go and enjoy either a drink with friends or family or do a meal.

Food is delicious and very tasty! You get to experience fine cuisine at this place. The location is cozy and intimate, even though i missed the presence of a window. The service was very slow, in 3 hours we ate three (small) dishes. We were accomodated and didn't receive any menu card. When they come to ask what we wanted to drink, we let them notice that we didn't have any card. They brought the wine card but not the food card. So again, we had to ask for the food card (how can we chose a wine without knowing whatwe are going toeat?). It was not clear how big the portions were. We got three dishes to share and bread. Bread came first and had to wait too long to receive the other dishes. Meantime the witress came twice to check how the bread was.. The price is definetely too high considering the low quality of the service. Once home we had to eat again because we were still hungry after spending 50euro p.p.

Found this little hidden bistro, decorated well with nice ambiance. I had the lunch sampler, the 3 different open face sandwiches. The beef tartar was the best.. the other 2 toppings with salmon and egg salad wasn’t overly special. The bonbons to end my lunch was presented well and delicious. The price was fair and server was very attentive. Might drop by to enjoy the alfresco area in summer.

I’ve been at this place 3 times now, every single time I’ve really enjoyed it. The cocktails are very interesting, some of them I’ve never seen before. I like how they make use of lesser known spirits like Armagnac for example. What I love most is that this restaurant is themed like a speakeasy, so it feels like a hidden place that you just have to know the right people for. Really cool. The lights are a bit dimmed inside and you really just end up focussing on just your own table and the people you’re with. It’s really cosy and intimate. Can’t wait to come again!
