The Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO-listed landscape featuring small towns perched between mountains and the sea. A popular activity is the Classic Amalfi Coast walking tour, an 11-day journey along the Footpath of the Gods, offering unrivaled Italian coastal hiking. The self-guided walk allows exploration at a personalized pace through idyllic villages like Praiano, Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Maestra dei Villaggi.
Breathtaking and unforgettable! The Amalfi Coast is truly one of the most stunning places you’ll ever see—the views are absolutely postcard-perfect at every turn. Towering cliffs, sparkling turquoise waters, and picturesque villages make this destination something straight out of a dream. I highly recommend visiting by coach if possible. The roads are incredibly narrow, winding, and steep, and while experienced drivers might manage, it’s not for the faint-hearted! If you do decide to drive, go for a small car—a big vehicle would be a real challenge on those roads. Beaches are beautiful but often require a walk down the cliffs, and some do charge for entry. It’s worth it for the experience, though! The restaurants along the coast are wonderful—laid-back, welcoming, and happy to let you enjoy your meal without rushing you, which is refreshing in such a popular tourist spot. Parking is expensive—around €10 per hour—so if you’re driving, plan to make the most of your time there. Honestly, words don’t do it justice—I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. A place you’ll never forget!

Very cool views from a boat tour. The road is very busy and filled with traffic for 4 months of the year - it was still busy in late September. Ferries are probably the better option to see everything the coast has to offer.
Brendan C — Google review
Beautiful town. We went end Sept beginning of Oct and we found it busy - I'm not sure I'd like it at the height of the season! Narrow streets with lots of lovely restaurants and gift shops. Restaurants offer similar choices of food and drink and cost is relative to quality, the average for us was about 45€ each which was 1 main meal and a drink each. Be prepared for lots of hills and stairs! Taxis are expensive but buses and ferries are a cheaper way to travel. The buses are a hair-raising ride but the scenery and views are spectacular. Tickets for the bus are bought either on the bus, some hotels & shops or the terminal. Ferry tickets can be bought online or at the port usually about 10€ but you may be charged extra for luggage. The ferry and bus timetables are pretty spot on but beware of popular times - the bus won't stop if it's full and your next bus could be up to an hour wait. The buses can cost between 1.50€ to 2.50€ depending on time of day. All stops are request stops, other than the terminal. The weather can affect the running of the ferries so always best to have a back up plan. We did a tour bus to Pompei & Herculaneum which was about 2 hours travelling but that was also picking up other people on the way.
Deborah T — Google review
We visited Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. After a white-knuckle drive along a cliff-hugging road, we were rewarded with the most spectacular scenery. Words cannot convey the absolute beauty of the Amafi Coast. So here are some pictures. Better to see it in real life!
Dan T — Google review
Arrive by sea and you can see how beautiful the coastline is. But to say its busy is an understatement. The mainstreet is wall to wall people. Narrow at times, it still has a need for cars bikes and electric carts to go up and down it. Once you manage to get further up the widens and you see the real Amalfi. Move away from this street and things become better. Still busy, but not uncontrollably. Views are fantastically pretty. Recommend turning right first off the boat and walking up the hill. Longish walk but very worth it. Do the main Street once you have taken in this view. You'll accept the masses after that. Only views from the sea included, as that would spoil it
TEE-GEE-EYE — Google review
Had the chance to visit during the last week of October but there were still many tourists of which we were 2. We tried to visit by boat from Salerno but the weather was bad and the boats cancelled. We thus took the road which was amazing but not for the faint hearted and parking is scarce so only drive if you have to. The part btween Salerno and Positano was amazing and we loved in particular the smaller Atrani and more local Vietri sul Mare.
Julie J — Google review
Driving down the coast In a bus was a little nerve-wracking but the scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend taking the ferry from Salerno to Capri. The views are breath taking.
James B — Google review
The most beautiful drive I've ever taken with breathtaking views around every turn! The roads are narrow with tons of cars truck, motorcycles and pedestrians so if you're not an aggressive driver, this is not for you! Parking is almost impossible but if you can score a parking spot, walking around Amalfi is a delight!

Il Vecchio Saracino restaurant is a Mediterranean eatery located on Via Granatelle, known for its traditional and fish cuisine. The establishment offers complimentary Wi-Fi to its patrons, creating an ideal atmosphere for enjoying their delectable dishes. With a charming leafy terrace, this unassuming bed and breakfast provides guests with a relaxed dining experience.
Location, decor, ambient, service, and of course the most important part, the food was superb. Priced accordingly to what you got. I went for my birthday, with dear friends, and was very impressed. I recommend the restaurant to anyone with high western standards, who want a quiet, respectful, and elegant experience while enjoying a delicious meal. I don't say this often, but A1.

An excellent dining experience! The food is delicious and well-priced, the staff is friendly, and the owners are wonderful. They take pride in their craft.

We came to Carola 1801 with a family group of 29 people from 4 generations. The food was amazing and the wines from Merino are fantastic. We had reserved and arranged a menu ahead of time with Vincenzo, the excellent chef. Unfortunately due to bus scheduling and traffic, we arrived late and had less than an hour to eat before we had to leave. The service was super fast, super professional and all-around excellent. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time to relax and savor the outstanding food.
Viaggiatore A — Google review
Had a wonderful dinner here with my family! Food was good, we enjoyed the seafood antipasti. The service was impeccable. We had a reservation but arrived late and they were able to accommodate us. Local Cilento wine was very good and Buffalo mozzarella soft cake dessert was delicious! Highly recommend!
T E — Google review
A lovely location and charming staff, let down by really rather poor food. The dishes appeared to attempt "fine dining" but they were fairly inedible. Three of the four dishes we had either smelled a little unfresh or were just unpleasant to eat. A shame because it was quite an expensive meal.
Sarah W — Google review
Absolutely one of the best restaurants on our tour of Italy. We were recommended this restaurant by the owners of the Trentova Motorhome Park. They called ahead and reserved a table for us. The whole ambience and setting for the restaurant is perfect. Beautiful courtyard garden . The food was incredible with so much flavour and definitely a menu to be very proud of. The tuna on every level was amazing from the tartar to the loins in the pasta ... The wine was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were charming, had a great sense of humour and spoke excellent English. They were well trained and very attentive. All in all an experience to be repeated and definitely recommended . Fantastic! Xx

Food was amazing but service was far better. Thanks to all staff who served us. Tuna is a must try food, local wine selection is great.

If you're a sushi lover or even just someone curious about trying it, Banzai Salerno is a must-visit destination that promises to delight your taste buds. Opting for the all-you-can-eat VIP formula is highly recommended, as it opens up an extensive menu filled with creative sushi rolls and unique dishes that will leave you wanting more. Diners have raved about the surprising flavor combinations, such as the delightful passion fruit salsa that adds an unexpected twist to traditional offerings.
We took the all you can eat vip formula, which is the way to go. They have a huge selection of sushi rolls and other special dishes. It would probably take 3-4 more visits to taste everything on the men. We were really surprised by some special flavour combinations we have never encounteted before (like passion fruit salsa) but it was a-ma-zing 🤤💯. Our waitress (I think her name was Sana/Sandra) was friendly but the ones at the entrance seemed rather arrogant. Other male waiter was also friendly en tried his best to communicate with tourists in English.
Wout D — Google review
Possibly because seafood is relatively cheap in Salerno, we still felt the 28-euro set menu was very cost-effective. The sashimi was all very fresh, and the side dishes, fries, and sushi rolls were not perfunctory either. We ate a lot. The all-you-can-eat system here seems to be a bit different from that in Asia — they don’t expect you to order everything at once, so we placed many rounds of orders.
Zichun W — Google review
Don’t waste your time with this place if you can’t read or speak Italian. Entered the restaurant and lead to our seats. After some time the young waiter gestured to a QR code for the menu. After downloading and scrolling through 28 pages (ridiculous for a menu, especially on a phone) we asked if they had an English menu which was received with a firm no by the most arrogant waiter we’ve come across, not only in Italy but the world. Left a real sour taste for our (attempted) first meal in Salerno, the young waiter could learn a lot if he spent some time in Napoli, there they know how to look after people.
Tristan W — Google review
It lacks flavor and they don't even use "sushi rice"! If you're trying to pretend at least try to use the closest you can find to the original product.
Veronica R — Google review
Love it! Have to come back again! The details of the food presentation and quality are just way beyond what I expect from "all you can eat. " Well done!
Shu-Ting L — Google review
We had a “all you can eat” menu for lunch. I was first a bit worried about the quality of sushis and other food, but we were surprised about how tasty it was ! They have a lot of very creative and beautiful sushis rolls, and a very big choice of drinks as well. I also strongly recommend Takoyaki !!! I ate takoyaki many times in Japan, but I guess it tastes even better here !!! Thank you so much for the nice lunch time!!

It was just... okay? For the price especially it was not really worth it. The portions were quite small for the price, we left the place not fully satisfied and chased the dinner with a desert from another place. Beautiful ambience tho!

Sorry, but the price for this food is unreasonably high. One waiter "servitor" cannot cope with a large number of people in the evening.

Wide selection of Uramaki, from the most classic to the elaborate ones and the offer of hot dishes, tartare and delicacies is also excellent. Well-curated wine list and a decent choice of desserts, which are also delicious and special. Friendly, helpful and competent staff in illustrating each dish. Highly recommended. Nestled in the heart of Salerno, "Prunus - Sushi & Cocktails" is a delightful haven for sushi lovers and those seeking an elegant dining experience. Despite my vegetarian tendencies, I found myself drawn into this chic establishment thanks to my girlfriend's cravings. A little tip: when navigating there, be sure to use the front entrance instead of relying solely on Google Maps! Upon entering Prunus, you're greeted by a sophisticated ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal.
Wow, I can't believe this is an all-you-can-eat place. The quality of food is superb. I went there for lunch and tried out all their appetaizers and some of their main courses. I loved their raw fish dishes. All-you-can-eat price: Lunch €24 Dinner €36 People can also opt out of the all-you-can-eat and pay for what they choose from the menu. Absolutely recommended 👌

It’s the best meal we had in Salerno. We had all you can eat sushi dinner for €33.9 per person + €3 cover charge. I would say, it’s well worth the money. We chose almost only raw fish and shrimps, every single piece was very fresh. The red shrimps were the best, sweet and creamy. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very nice and clean. If you visit Salerno, like to eat sushi and sashimi, this place is a must go.

So, I took one for the team and ventured into a sushi joint even though I'm a die-hard vegetarian, all thanks to my girlfriend's sushi cravings. First off, let me drop a little Google Maps wisdom: don't trust it completely, 'cause it'll lead you to the back door of this place. Sneaky, right? Make sure you hit the front entrance! Now, as soon as you step inside, it's like stepping into a world of poshness. The place oozes elegance with its fancy interior designs. You can tell they've put some serious thought into the ambiance. A friendly server greeted us and whisked us off to our table in no time. Ordering was a breeze, thanks to a nifty tablet. 📱 We kicked things off with a classic Miso soup, and it didn't disappoint. But, here's where things get interesting - the gyoza was a tad dry, the veg roll a bit on the oily side, and the sushi? Well, it was decent. I went all out with a vegetarian roll on black rice, which, I kid you not, was a bit on the hard side. I even asked if the rice was undercooked, but apparently, that's how black rice rolls. Who knew, right? But hey, props for the presentation - check out the video! 📹 Dessert saved the day, though. It was a sweet ending to our meal. All in all, it's a solid pick for a fancy date night, a business meeting, or any formal occasion. The food won't blow your socks off, but it won't ruin your day either. It's like the Goldilocks of sushi places - not the best, not the worst, just right in the middle.

This is probably the best all you can eat sushi location in the Campania region. The atmosphere and quality of food that is brought out is two of the many great qualities this restaurant gives off. Customer service is very good and the wait time is very minimal. Highly recommended place for a good meal, and will be back often.

When you think of the culinary rivalry between Roma and Napoli, it’s hard not to get excited about the pizza scene. The contest has been ongoing for centuries, showcasing two distinct styles: Rome's thin and crispy slices loaded with toppings versus Naples' soft, fluffy bases that embrace simplicity. Whether you're indulging in a slice from a bustling street vendor or savoring a pie fresh from a wood-fired oven at a family-run pizzeria, each bite is pure bliss.

Absolutely a good place. Our friends, the Di Geneva’s, took us here while visiting. Had great steaks, a variety of beer, and some outstanding appetizers first. We couldn’t believe the service. Smart and sassy too.

We arrived at Heretic Braceria and we instantly fell in love with the place. As a man who loves his medieval history, you enter a space from a different time; you see a throne as soon as you enter, banners from different chivalric orders. The attention to detail was incredible. I'm from Ireland, and I learned that the owner procured some of the suits of armour and implements from Ireland, which is awesome. We ordered the Antipasto Reale, and words can't describe just how amazing the flavours were. I ordered the Scottona and my wife ordered the Maialino ribs. The meat melted in your mouth and the accompanying vegetables were a perfect match. The desserts were works of art, and we didn't take pictures because we dug in as soon as we saw them. I had the pistacchio, and my wife had the white chocolate and almond dessert. Overall, the atmosphere was excellent, the quality is excellent and the prices are honest. Staff were very friendly and engaging, and I have to say thank you to Melissa and Giuseppe for creating such a beautiful memory for us. We will see you again soon.

We were in the area and came to this place due to their great reviews. I must admit I expected a tacky place with no charme (this Camelot if you are from the UK). But, this venue was lovely, the staff were amazing and were patient with our poor attempt at Italian, the food was brilliant- my best steak in Italy so far! The only thing I would say is arrive early to park just outside of the venue, otherwise it’s a squeeze. But we will certainly come back if in the area, great place! Very welcoming, great food, what more could you want?

Vibe was nice with chilled music. We got pizza at 9:15 even though it supposed to be served 9:30 as they informed when we entered. When it comes to pizza, it was full with ingredients, amazing flawer. Finally we got nice tiramisu and orange sweet wine from Sicily for desert. Total was 45 with euro with 2 euro coperto therefore we left bigger tip and totally recommend!

So good. The wait service team at Vinarte are plentiful and energetic. Our drinks were delivered promptly every time and our table cleared just as quickly. The food menu is extensive. As well as pizza, it has a wide cross section of other European dishes. We shared potato croquettes for a starter. I then had a steak with zucchini flower + mint salad. My wife had roasted keg of chicken with toasted potatoes + roasted carrots. We finished by sharing a tira misu - it was perfect. The wine list is the most extensive I have seen in my time in Italy. Well done Vinarte 👏👏👏

We had breakfast here and ordered two croissants, one soy cappuccino, and a glass of milk. They gave us a receipt for the total amount of 10 euros (the average you pay in the city is below 5 euros), without a price breakdown for each item. (Translated by Google) Finally!, For the first time, in Agropoli, we found a place that suited us: CAMMERA', we found some exceptional people, they made us feel at ease straight away. We ordered 4 sandwiches, and first, to tease a basket of richly frozen potatoes and meatballs, but freshly cut and fried, they were quick, the 4 sandwiches were immense in quality, shape and taste, the quality was noticeable , and the craftsmanship of the products, A pleasant, quiet, and clean place. Even if the kitchen was visible, there were no smells, but only the smell of cleanness, abundant outdoor space, easy parking and 5 minutes away from the central square. Passed with full marks. Honest prices. We will be back. (Translated by Google) A very nice and well-decorated location, very polite and kind staff attentive to every customer request. The appetizers were very good, especially the fresh, homemade potatoes (quality assured). The bruschetta was also good, cooked to perfection and seasoned appropriately. The sandwiches were spectacular with very generous toppings, and even the bread itself was delicious, not your typical pub bread. Everything was very good. I highly recommend this place, also for the fairly fair prices. Excellent location. Posizione ottima

They recommended the amber beer on tap, which is good with a fruity aftertaste. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The Sachertorte and the Cilento fig liqueur are both excellent! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! Highly recommended. Super consigliato.

(Translated by Google) A fabulous discovery. There were five of us (including one celiac) and a dog. We each had a beer (an excellent gluten-free beer), a portion of chips, and a sandwich each (again, a gluten-free sandwich). Excellent quality, mostly homemade, and the sandwiches were crispy and not at all heavy. The staff was friendly and available for any requests. All in all, around €20 per person! We'll be back soon. (Original) Scoperta favolosa. We were traveling with two small children, ages 4 and 5, and planning a dinner out can often be challenging, but the Cammerà staff made everything very simple and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great professionalism and friendliness. The attention to detail was remarkable: the staff immediately demonstrated thoughtfulness and attentiveness to our family's needs. It's rare to find such meticulous attention, especially when you have small children. The quality of the food lived up to expectations, with excellent burgers and fresh, well-selected ingredients. Our children enjoyed their dishes, and we adults were also very impressed. We highly recommend Cammerà to anyone looking not only for a great burger, but also for impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for families. We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff, nice and helpful, really good service. Very good food, all fresh, the chips cut personally by them really tasty, the meat good quality as well as the vegetables, which few places guarantee nowadays, and we were pleasantly surprised by the bill, only €11.50 per person. Did not have any food - 1 out of the party haf gelato which was good. Had some drinks, chips and they showed the Euro Semi’s. The screen was quite small, but it was good anyways. The actual delivery of product was fast, but I felt the staff could have been a bit more «on-top» of us. Then I probably would have had another drink. Amaretto Sour good, Midori Sour good, Cosmopolitan too sweet and juice-consentrated (party opinion), aperol spritz x2 good, white wine okay!
