Stunning taverna on the beach serving delicious local food! The fried squid and moussaka were personal favourites (bear in mind they had sold out of moussaka by 8pm (overheard from another table)) and the Greek salad and chickpea balls also great. You can’t actually see sunset from this spot but the glow of the mountains opposite was just as good.

Such a classic great tavern! We trued mousakka, greek salad, fries and fried calamari. Not a huge fan of greek ekmek kadayifi but still, really good food. I also liked its calming atmosphere next to the beach and chill staff. Awesome!

Beach front taverna to have lunch or early dinner after swim. Traditional local dishes with the freshest ingredients. The family that owns it have their own farm so both meat dishes and cheeses on offer are made by them! Must visit for meat lovers and local cuisine.

A lovely spot to eat traditional Greek food with your feet on the sand. Order the classics (Pastisio, Stuffed Tomatoes and Moussaka) and you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely taverna right on the beach, we had one of the best eggplant salad- dip ever with yummy fresh bread , Greek salad and very nice house rose! Excellent service, we enjoyed it all after a 3 hours 40 min hike!

Such a perfect little true Greek family run restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and wine. The service was great! It is run by a husband and wife doing the cooking and the son serving. They were so welcoming!

Without a doubt, this was the best food we had on the island. Every dish was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Everything about our experience was simply fantastic. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and thoughtful in a way that made us feel truly cared for. The staff went above and beyond, especially in doting on our young baby, which made the evenings even more special. The service here is the best we’ve experienced anywhere in Greece, and that kind of consistency clearly comes from the top, so congratulations to the management for setting such a high standard. We loved it so much that we came back for our last night in Sifnos, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The team were outstanding and we couldn’t be more appreciative of them taking care of us. A visit to Sifnos isn’t complete without dining here. I’m still thinking about their dessert and can’t wait to come back one day!

We had a great dinner at Omega3. We got sat right a the water as another family decided to get up. The menu is interesting a big departure from typical Greek cuisine. The waiter was prompt, helpful and provided suggestions. The meals are served tapas style and everything we had was really good. We liked every dish, they did get sea urchin for the first time in a few weeks and that was delicious. The wine list was extensive and not knowing anything about Greek wine, the waiter provided some suggestions (also some of the most expensive) but they didn’t disappoint. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would go back the next time we are on the island.

The food was very nice, nice concept of restaurant and delivered a nice experience. Was a but too loud from the beach and music from other bars, but overall was worth coming to try! Fish mosaic was surreal and orzo was also really tasty!

A party of 5 and we tried 9 different plates and 2 desserts! Everything was amazing and honestly i can not understand the bad reviews! Off course it’s a matter of personal taste, but Omega 3 it’s not a place to bury it with bad reviews! Taste, quality of materials and service is very high level! The price is about 40-50 euros per person which is understandable for what it offers! Definitely a place you must visit in Sifnos!!!

We loved the casual atmosphere — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The menu is focused on small plates designed for sharing. We were recommend to order 5 to 7 plates for two people to get a good variety — each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions and making us feel right at home. Definitely a place we would like to come back to — highly recommended!

It was worth the hype. We went there for lunch, no booking ahead and were able to get a nice table. We ordered 5 plates + dessert for two people and each was wonderful, amongst the best meal we ever had. Staff was very friendly. I would come back.

Very nice and unique food. The location is great and the staff is very helpful. However, the portions are extremely small considering the price — especially the dish with the king crab.

Lovely spot with great ambience and excellent service. The menu is adventurous - with interesting and unexpected combinations and techniques that left us at moments impressed (for example the sea bream in quinoa crust), at moments a bit puzzled (for example the kiwi purée and cucumber celery garnish in the sea bream). I went without reservation and the staff was extremely helpful to find me a table. I was on my own, and wanted to try another wine that was not on the glass service but they found me a good middle ground. Whatever I tried was extremely tasty. The spring onion starter with “almond ricotta” is a very unusual yet enjoyable dish, that gets richer with the textures. The famous sea bream with quinoa crust deserves its fame. Very light and fit for a summer evening, while still holding flavour richness with green “salsa” and celery salad. And the star of the night, the cookie sandwich dessert with pistachios. How amazing a dessert can be, a perfect match for the Samos nectar wine too! I’d be happy to be back here! Thanks to the chef and the lovely service team!

We’ve been traveling around Greece. This was by far the best food we’ve had. It was absolutely worth it. We had fried cuttlefish, spring onion, sea bass, and orzo with pork. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Frankie and Nico are the best. Ask for them :-)

Had a lovely and quiet lunch experience here amidst an otherwise busy beach. The food quality and presentation were top notch, and the service was a 10/10. Don’t miss out on the watermelon salad, and the restaurants fabulous bread/olive oil/olives!

One of the good bars at the pedestrian road "Steno". It has very good variety of beers, beautiful decoration at the indoor environment as well as traditional outdoor seating. A good entertainment option for late at night, it is popular enough at the high season of the summer.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. This is your “go to” once at Sifnos. The staff is friendly and the manager makes sure you feel welcomed. My favourite place in the island.

One night in August we pass by and see a free table in a corner, next to a dim lit alley. We just sit (there was non “wait to be seated” sign), and then a young girl tells us “there’s a waiting list”. It’s a normal bar, in the only crowded 300m long alley of the island; no fancy seats nor service, probably working at capacity 3months of the year and you make up waiting lists??? Half of the venues were already half empty by the end of the month and the rest of the time they charge impossible amounts for cheap drinks. People will eventually stop going out, many already do and just stroll through the lane, take a photo and go on. Stop being so pretentious.

We chose Doloma as the welcome drinks venue for our wedding in Sifnos in May 2025, and it was absolutely perfect. Located right in the heart of Apollonia, the setting is charming and was convenient for our guests. We highly recommend Doloma for a great drink in a wonderful atmosphere with good vibes!

This is a very good cocktail bar for evening drinks with nice view of the Sifnos and Aegean sea! We had ordered Rose and it was okay, nothing exceptional. Atmosphere is very nice but strangly enough it is super quiet and we did not get a very good vibe even tho we were there in sunset!

We haven't eaten here yet...but this is the most enchanting bar/restaurant, and read good things about the food. Beautiful indoor bar, lots of interesting sitting areas, and a lovely rooftop restaurant. Soft jazz was playing in the background, quirky, fun art everywhere, beautifully lit Definitely going back!

Really cute little cafe. Loads of cute seating areas and terraces. Prices are a little high for what you get/ portion size but everything is tasty and staff are very friendly. Would love to revisit in the evening for a drink!

Best drinking hole in town. Possibly Greece. Great music, awesome cocktails, excellent staff. Botzi is a well-oiled machine. We strolled in every night we stayed in town, and it never got old. We are missing the Botzi vibes since leaving Greece.

Nice place. A little hidden in the shopping street of Apollonia, but worth a visit. We only had a drink at this place, but they played very nice music and when the guy who served us saw that i used Shazam to find out what they played, he gave me his Spotify playlists. Visit them and maybe you get the playlists as well 🙂.

Best bar on Sifnos island. The owner makes all the drinks with his hands and he’s generous with the pouring. Each drink has around 200mL of rum in each drink and I had 6 of them in one night. The bar interior is decorated with images of Cuban government officials. In a world ruled by small share plates and natural wine this place restored my faith in humanity.

A cool guys with a lot of history owns the place. He has his own style of serving, you iust gotta go along. Has a great view. Mostly packed.

Most honest business in the island, there are 3 things on the menu: can of beer, mojito and rum with something. You pay no more than 5€ for a big glass of rum and you are given the beverage of your choice to add to your rum. Best 10€ I've ever spent

What an amazing restaurant! Definitely a must go in Sifnos. Amazing view and very tasty dishes. The salad was OK, probably it lacked taste a bit probably because the tasteless tomatoes. And the ekmek kadayifi was fine, but I would expect a different dish, but apparently Greeks do it this way with custard. The chickpea and the lobster mac and cheese pasta were really good. We also liked the cocktails and the wine selection.

Simply Amazing! This is fine dining at its best. From the second we arrived we had outstanding service, and we could get all the meals to share between the two of us. We ordered 2 starters, 2 main dishes, and 2 signature cocktails. Bostani did not dissappoint. The food really showed Sifnos' reputation of great food culture. All employees were very kind. The atmosphere was also wonderful. We pretty much got our next dish before finishing the previous one, but it was not stressful in any way, just good service.

Short story: food ok/good, service bad and arrogant, ambiente great, a place for instagram people… Long story: We booked a table online, and due to the short notice, confirmation via WhatsApp was fast. We added in the field „dietary restrictions“ that one of us doesn‘t eat fish. We got a great table with a beautiful view and were approached by a young waiter(1) handing us the menu and asking for allergies. We confirmed that one of the guests did not eat fish. It was not an allergy but personal preference. Other than expected, the „a la carte“ menu was different than the one in their website. Instead of waiter 1 showing up again, it took ages and waiter 2 showed up and explained that the menu online was from last year. Anyway. We ordered inter alia bread and butter. Waiter 3 brought the starters, while waiter 4 collected the plates afterwards. While finishing the bread I wondered what “Bottarga” was, googled it, and found out it is fish roe. It was the orange stuff on the butter. I confronted waiter 4 who started to argue a bit but also wanted to double check it with her colleagues. Waiter 1 arrived again to ask again if it’s a personal preference or allergy and then told us they only remove things if it’s an allergy. We once again pointed out it was also written in the dietary restriciton with our reservation. Waiter 1 then tried to explain that fish roe (Bottarga) is not fish, just a product from the fish and we are wrong. We’re still shocked that a waiter tries to explain to a lawyer that something that is cut out of the fish’s belly is not fish. Bostani waiters should check how bottarga is made. It’s the roe string extracted from the fish’s belly. For me, it still counts as fish if someone says he doesn’t like fish! Mistakes happen, but the question is how you deal with it. The waiter 4 preferred to argue, telling us that “Bottarga” was written in the menu and did not give any sign of being sorry or that it was a mistake. Since we wanted to enjoy the evening together, we did not google every word on the menu prior ordering and kept our phones in the pockets and relied on the waiter to guide and help. But the waiters at Bostani are rather a faceless dinner-plate-shuttle than professional and hospitable. Waiter 5 served the main course, the pork was ok (overpriced), the fish was very good to be honest. Many waiters walked by, no waiter asked how the food tasted in between, no waiter filled the glasses and when we finished no waiter felt responsible to take care of the finished plates. Waiter 3 which we hadn’t really talked to so far, showed up and cleaned the table. We also asked for the bill. Waiter 2 showed up with the bill which had 2 drinks on it which we never ordered nor consumed and walked away. After some minutes waiter 2 showed up again, took the bill and came back with a new bill, this time corrected. In crowd control and conflict solving, the option “face change” is sometimes used to solve problems between two people or parties. Bostani uses the option “face change” to create problems and conflicts. During the payment process I gave the advice that with only one face this problem would not have arisen, but once again, I was wrong and waiter 2 told me this is not the concept of the restaurant. If waiter 1 would’ve served the food, she could’ve known that there is Fish on the butter which one doesn’t like. If waiter 1 would’ve brought the bill, she would’ve known that these drinks did not belong to our bill. If waiter 1 would’ve taken care of us this evening she would’ve deserved tip, if 5 waiters show up, I don’t tip since I don’t know who to tip. What we expected? - 1 friendly and professional waiter - good food - a manager that shows up to take responsibility for mistakes that happens What we enjoyed the most? - the way home to Stamna Hotel with the knowledge that we’re going to have a great breakfast the morning after. Perhaps we were not „fancy“ enough to fit in this concept and also to know what “Bottarga” is by heart… but the attitude of the waiters is unacceptable.

We have been in Greece for over two weeks and had some fantastic meals. Our meal at Limanaki surpassed all of them. We had the lobster, the octopus appetizer, and the salad with giant beans. All were sensational. The woman who waited on us was the fisherman’s daughter. She showed us all the fresh fish caught that day and let us choose what we wanted. We tried to order something for an appetizer and she guided us to get something different that would pair well with the other things we were ordering. We were deciding between menu options and when we said we wanted the lobster, but didn’t want the pasta that came with it she had the lobster grilled and served with the salad. All this to say she curated the most delicious dining experience. After we paid our bill they brought us a mini “cheesecake “ to perfectly finish off the meal. All of this in the most charming area on the most charming island.

A perfect way to end our last day in Sifnos. Limanaki impressed us with warm, attentive service and generous portions of incredibly fresh seafood. The red snapper, one of the fish of the day, was grilled to perfection —simple, flavourful, and beautifully cooked. The crayfish orzo was another standout, rich and delicious. Add to that the stunning sea views and relaxed atmosphere, and you’ve got a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended ✅

We had the best time dining at Limanaki while in Sifnos! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon bouncing around several islands in Greece. While in Sifnos, we stayed right in Faros and were a short walk to the restaurant. No wonder we came here on three separate occasions! The marinated anchovies were simple but elegant. I tried the fresh catch of the day which was a scorpion fish (pictures included). What a unique experience for a fish that is not easy to find! The staff were so kind and the atmosphere as warm and welcoming as anyone could ask for. Don’t miss this nice gem if you are in Sifnos! We will be back :)

It was amazing! We ordered a grilled parrot fish, fried tiny fishes (I am not good with names..), tzatziki and grilled vegetables. Everything was super fresh and incredible, especially the fish. The server was so kind and welcoming. She showed the inventory of fishes of the day. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of food. We are staying 4 days in this island and visited this restaurant twice. Highly recommended!

We walked from Kastro to Faros and ended up at this lovely restaurant by the sea. We had fresh fish, delicious greens, and were treated to a tasty dessert. The staff was very friendly and everything tasted amazing. Afterwards we enjoyed a refreshing swim, the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon.

My sister and i were told about this restaurant from a new friend we met at our accommodation. The 3 of us came and, wow, the family took such good care, and we chose fresh fish from the days catch. NUS, the name is mythical and pure magic to those who have dined here. I was blessed with this delightful place nearly to myself (early diner) and a kitty cat or two. I had no idea I was privileged to be dining at such a wonderful restaurant without even trying. My server was just darling, he deserved to be accoladed more than I can express here…. Eat anything. But for sure if they have the smoked chicken in a glass cloche, or the caper hummous with caper leaves, try those. The setting is also beyond imagination. I am so excited for my next visit!

NUS is an odyssey of flavors (see what I did there?) with a unique spin on classic Greek dishes. The chickpea falafel, beetroot salad, stuffed peppers, and triple-cooked potatoes were standouts, and the tomato with crispy caper leaves was a brilliant surprise. The staff was wonderful—patient, friendly, spoke great English, and offered excellent suggestions with genuine smiles. A must-visit on Sifnos.

Lovely experience at NUS. We enjoyed every part of the meal, right down to the best ice cream we’ve had - the roasted coconut. We managed to have a lot of variety in vegetarian meals which was an added bonus. Service was good, friendly waiter and (lots of) four-legged friends! absolutely delicious food and great menu. the location on the beach is magical and with some cute cat visitors. would recommend the food lots but be patient as unfortunately the service was not great. we were a bit forgotten about after we were served our food, we would’ve kept having a few cocktails but even getting the bill was difficult.

Second time at Nus and everything is great. The food is delicious. I recommend the eggplant, potatoes, and crab. The place is beautiful, the service is lovely, and especially our waitress with long black hair. It is always easy to find a table, which is surprising because this place should to be full!

We had the most beautiful lunch today at Nus. The location is right on the beach but table in the shade. The food was creative and delicious, a very Ottolenghi vibe. Service was friendly and efficient. A wonderful find and we highly recommend.

Stopped in to have a quick drink by the beach. I ordered a water and was told that since it was only one euro, I couldn’t take up a seat in the restaurant. Mind you, the place was completely empty besides me. Additionally, I had only just sat down. I had planned to order food and drinks, but hadn’t had a chance to look at the menu yet. I ended up just ordering some toast with my water to get me started. Toast came and I’m not sure what I thought it would be, but definitely wasn’t on par with the rest of the food in Greece. Also, the waiter ended up forgetting the water I had originally requested. Best skip this spot.

I have been visiting the island for many years when I wasn't feeling like living camares this place was always the best option to grab a drink. I didn't really know it but from what I saw this year they offer the sun beds for free for the customers which is a huge Plus. if you consider that all the places next to them do charge for this kind of service. This is an extra bit of information that I wanted to share but regarding my experience we had four drinks. they were very nice. we did pay about $50 for these, however which I guess is normal for today's standards but it is still a lot.

Rude owner vs customers and personell. The unacceptable Aperol Spritz was made with yesterday's prosecco. The Amaretto sour was excellent. There is room for improvement on quite a few levels.

Friendly bar with fair prices where paying customers get to us sunbeds for free. Lovely part of the sandy beach.

We visited Cosi twice in a 4 days vacation trip. It's the most popular night club and it's packed with people usually after midnight. The cocktails were really good and the view from the top floor is amazing. It's a must to visit this place at least once of you happen to visit Sifnos

A very nice place to drink in the evening, a bit expensive but good choices. Tables are a bit to close that you can easily chat to the person sitting next to you. But the reason why I put 3 stars it is because the young blonde girl was rude to us when we just wanted to pay.

We stopped in on our way home for a quick cocktail. This bar enjoys a great location, and the staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgable about the drinks menu. The rooftop offers excellent views. The music was a mixture of pop and house and wasn’t overly loud; it contributed to an already pleasant vibe. I’d happily stop by again, especially for Happy Hour :). My Cocktails of choice would be the chilli clown and the East coast; both are refreshing and packed with flavour.

Our visit to the bar was deeply disappointing. Despite ordering drinks and sitting at a table for over fifteen minutes, a female staff member asked us to leave, claiming it was reserved, without any prior indication. We relocated, only to see the supposedly reserved table empty for hours. This behavior left us feeling perplexed and disrespected, overshadowing the positive aspect of live music. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this place and strongly suggest exploring better alternatives. The bar seems to have little regard for its reputation and customer experience.

This is a very cute and quiet place in the small town. We stopped here to check out the location during our exploring. We ended up getting some coffee and ice coffees to go. The service was good and so were the coffees. This is a small quiet restaurant. It is very cute, right on the water.

DO NOT BELIEVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Do expect: a fully authentic small local fishing village taverna. The food was delicious, the view is something that people travel half way around the world for. Come with plenty of time, relaxed, and ready to enjoy a slow pace and a beautiful waterfront view. As a small local taverna there is one gentlemen that is half owner/manager/head cook and a women who is taking care of all the tables. The gentlemen will show you all of the fresh fish that are left that were caught same day. Both work hard to ensure you have a delicious meal. Unique location by the sea. Fried small fish was really fresh, the Greek salad with mizithra cheese was amazing . Marinated octopus 🐙 was also very tasty! Definitely a must visit for lunch by the sea shore!!!

We loved this little tavern. Yes, you are on a lesser know Greek island in a sleepy seaside village (very small), EVERYTHING moves slower. Including the service. But come on, just relax and take in what is around you. This place is an absolute gem for the tired soul. The staff are very friendly and the owner is such a pleasure! We loved the food although we are by no means foodies, I can just say we loved both meals we had during our time in the area. Excellent fresh fish. Good wine!!

Fantastic local restaurant in a beautiful setting. We’ve eaten here in August and despite of being high season we only had to wait 5 min to get a table, the staff is nice and the food is local and very fresh, fish and seafood direct from the boat from the owner, what else can you ask for? The price is a bit higher than a local tavern but you are in a secluded place so doesn’t surprise me.

Positives: The tavern is undeniably located in a beautiful setting. Negatives: Unfortunately, we had to wait over 45 minutes before any food began to arrive. One of the two main dishes never came, and we eventually had to cancel it. The food quality was average at best—there are definitely better tavern options on the island. I would not suggest it, but the only two taverns in this place make it a bit tricky not to sit and eat there :(

This is absolutely one place you should not miss on your trip to Sifnos. The fish is cooked impeccably, the location is surreal and the owner is still cooking in the ways his mother taught him years ago. Do not miss a chance to eat here!

Beautiful location and incredible during sunset. Wines are so expensive but I think it’s intentional to make you stay for one wine and leave or spend a small fortune. Worth a visit if you can get a booking or wait in the line.

Loggia Wine Bar is truly amazing when it comes to landscape and atmosphere — the view alone makes it worth a visit. However, the service could be improved a lot, which would really elevate the whole experience. The food was just okay; for example, the cheese plate cost 10€ but only came with four small strips, which felt strange. I had made a reservation 1.5 months in advance, and I definitely recommend booking ahead if you don’t want to wait. Overall, it’s worth going for the spectacular view, but not for the culinary experience or the friendliness of the staff.

Atmosphere is amazing and so romantic. You have a panoramic view of Aegean sea which is very beautiful. Service could have been improved alot. They kept people waiting in the queue even though they had free people just to show off that they are busy. Staff behaviour is mixed, there is a nice guy which is welcoming however a younge french lady which is super rude to guests! Also, prices are so high and they even expect a tip for that price!!

Get a table before sunset — watching the island slowly fade into dusk has been one of our favorite experiences. The service is fantastic, the food selection is precise and absolutely delicious, and last but not least, the wine list. They offer an extensive yet carefully curated selection that can satisfy every palate. On top of that, their knowledgeable sommelier is always ready to guide you through the details and pairings.

Our group of 5 had a 9pm reservation on a Friday night and it was the highlight of our trip to Sifnos. We had Bertram waiting on us and we loved his suggestions of bottles, all served with a detailed explanation of the wines and what to expect. They were all delicious - the vibes are high and the location is unbeatable.

Rude staff, completely uninterested in us, had to call them multiple times to grab their attention, while noticing they gave special treatments to older and money-bringing clients. Overall insanely pricey for the amount of food, which was indeed outstanding, but the rest of the experience made it regrettably bitter for us.

Really enjoyed our meal here! We had the tagliatelle alla bolognese and trofie al pesto. They added zucchini to my pesto pasta as requested and brought extra Parmesan for my husband who can eat it by the bucketful. It felt like the best homemade pasta ever, served by a lovely and attentive team!

What a delight! We went here two nights during our trip during the off season. The restaurant is stunning and has a great view. We had Panos as our waiter both nights and he animated our needs and made great recommendations. The truffle pasta was out of this world.

I would put more than 5 stars if I could! We went for Pasta alla Puttanesca and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. Came back the day after to try a pizza and it was also an absolute delight. The owner is very devoted to making you feel good and welcomed. Don’t hesitate. Best Italian in Sifnos!!

We dined as a group of 10 and noticed the place is ideal for big groups and families. There were people of all ages, from kids to elderly diners — it’s a crowd-pleaser for everyone. Tip: definitely book ahead, even on a midweek night like we went (it was packed). Portions were very generous and perfect for sharing. We ordered a few entrees and pizzas for the table, and most of us still ordered mains — but barely finished them because of how much there was to share. Prices were really reasonable, so we got to feast without breaking the budget. Service started off a little slow, but once the food began to arrive, it came out steadily and kept the table happy. Totally understandable for a packed house. Overall, for an Italian spot in Greece, it’s a solid choice — casual, fun, and great value in a beautiful setting.

Surprisingly good woodfired pizza that provided a great late night takeaway option and a reprieve from Greek food. Just wish the base was firmer, a very soft dough overall (crust and toppings were perfect though).

Palmira is the ultimate beach bar in Platis Gialos. During my 4-day holiday in Sifnos, I found myself coming back here again and again — whether it was relaxing at the tables or lounging on the beach chairs right by the water. Their Bloody Marys are easily the best I’ve had — perfectly balanced and at a very reasonable price, so of course, I had more than a few! I also tried a few dishes from the menu: the club sandwich, Dakos salad, and cheeseburger. Everything was fresh and tasty, but the cheeseburger was an absolute standout. If you’re after a laid-back spot with great drinks, good food, and a prime beachside setting, Palmira is the perfect place to spend your holiday hours.

We only got coffee to go, and for 2 coffees and 2 0,5lt water bottles we paid 6 euro. A fair price for a beachfront cafe I would say and the coffee taste was better compared to the other nearby cafés. The staff was friendly and quick to serve. While waiting the atmosphere looked good also. Recommend for sure!

Passable cocktails, but the waiter probably mixed them up so we didn’t really now if we were drinking what ordered. Two different cocktails that tasted very similar, 11€ each and not a single saltine (or chips, nuts whatever) to accompany them (to some customers it seems they were offered, to others not?) Nice location on the bay, but we are progressively stopping to go out for drinks because every place with low lighting in a tourist area in Greece now thinks is ok to sell overpriced beverages with no real value in terms of quality, service etc.

We ordered the cheeseburger and veggie burger, and both were phenomenal. The fries that came with them were perfect, too. It was one of our favorite meals—great value and incredible flavor. A perfect, relaxing spot for any meal of the day, complete with a fabulous ocean view.

Totally full of it. Tried to rent a pedal boat for my kid, they told me that the one and only guy who can handle it is out until later. Fine. Later we come back and the guy is just hanging out in the water. The guy from the café says that the boat guy told him that the police said he can't rent anymore because of the wind. It's not windy now nor is the forecast for wind until overnight. When I questioned it he told me that I always have an answer for everthng but they can't do it. I called another place in platis giallos (bloomarine) and the person there said that of course they are open, but will be closed tomorrow because of the wind. Which makes sense. These guys at Bolab are I assume doing something illegal and unsafe if the police told them not to rent. That's at best. At worst they are just rude liars. Also for what it's worth, at the cafe the food is not very good. Stay away. There are plenty of reputable operators and good cafes on Sifnos. This isn't one. They are just a garbage company. Edit: Not a half hour later as we were leaving the beach we could see that they had rented out at least one of the boats. So their response to this review - that there were dangerous winds in the forecast and they were being safety conscious - is patently a lie. Either that or they were willing to endanger the lives of other people's kids even as they gallantly protected mine. Draw your own conclusions.

Overall a nice place to enjoy your drink and/or grab a bite. The atmosphere and the view makes it a very cozy place. The food was good, we ordered the Mediterranean Club Sandwich and the Quinoa salad. The quantities were fair to the prices, but I would prefer to have fresh grilled mushrooms in the Club Sandwich instead of canned (but that's subjective to each ones' taste preferences). The coffee we ordered was good as well. For the food, coffees and 1 bottle of water we paid 40,30 euro. The service was good also, but the waiters could become a bit more engaged by greeting the customers first rather than waiting for the customer to speak first. I definitely recommend the place!

We visited lost bay last week. Unfortunately, the food was from mediocre to even bad. We waited very long (50mins) for a plate of plain kids pasta that came without being properly boiled (and I mean you could break the pasta in 2). When we returned it, the pasta that we got was boiled but no flavor at all, no salt nor olive oil. The extra expensive Greek salad had no tomatoes to eat, because they were just tops of tomatoes and peels of tomatoes. Everything was good with drinks and coffee. Eventually, we were refunded for the food, but it really ruined all the good vibes and energy of our 1st day in the island.

We booked in advace and paid 120 euros for two sunbeds. We were told that we can consume all we wanted from the bar-restaurant up to this amount so we were really ok with that since we planned on staying all day there... The place is beautiful, the atmosphere and service very nice, the sea amazing, the music a bit off, i would expect something less uptempo to match the serenity of the spot... Our sunbeds were huge and luxurious. But upon our arrival I realised there was no shade, optional or not, so i asked the waiter to move us if we were to be under the sun all day... He told us that the sun would go down a tree right next to our beds and give us shade, but that never happened. Still ok. When we went upstairs to the building for lunch, the setting was very nice too, the view amazing... We had a lot of money to spend and we would pay even more, but there were very few options on the menu, so we ended up spending less than the prepaid amount. In addition, the only dish with pasta and smoked salmon was missing from the catalogue... I wish the restaurant had more choices, when you're at a nice place upon a beautiful beach you want to taste all the freshness of the greek veggies and fish/seafood not burgers and typical fried fingerfood...

We went for a quick drink and ended up staying three hours. It's a really pretty, open-air bar right on the beach. Terrific music (for an old hippie)! Service was very accommodating when we asked to switch tables. And they surprised us with an extra little cheese tray, which was a very nice treat. Sifnos - and the Lost Bay - became a favorite place in the Cyclades.

Beautiful location on the beach. The problem here is the way too loud and very cheap playlist. Th music get louder and louder during the afternoon. You can not even talk. I ordered a glass a red wine, it was oxydated. They do not check what they serve. The lounge chairs are dirty.

Nice place and food however the waitresses are not the best. We ordered a fresh orange juice and after a while it did not arrived we asked for it. Got some drinks and went into the ocean for about ten minutes. When I got back, the server have my seat away to someone else (the seat on the left in the picture) even though there was plenty of other seating. When I inquired about it, the server shrugged and said he didn't know. I started packing up my stuff when another server came to ask if something was wrong. I told him and he offered to move the other customer, but I was over it at that point.

I visited the place the first week of September. It was probably the most disappointing food experience during our three-week Greece trip. The waiter seemed disinterested in providing any good service at all. I don’t understand Greek but according to our Greek friends he was outright rude. Also, and just as importantly, the food was far from good and it was pricey. I ordered an extra fried extra egg with my breakfast and was charged a lot. The tortilla wraps were less tasty than the wraps you buy at the kiosk at an airport. The coffee is OK, and the place may be good for drinks. It is too bad the food is subpar as this place has a lot of potential with the very nice terrace. Some people may come back for further visits, just “not-us any day”

First of all service was brilliant! Happy, kind, pleasant waiters that you rarely find anymore. Food was a bit overpriced but that's pretty much the case all over the island. Cocktails were also exceptional 👌🏻

A really nice and quiet beach (end of June), very clean sand and crystal clear water without any rocks or seaweeds. Good bars with more than decent food and friendly staff. Beds and umbrellas are between 15-30 euros for a set. The 30 euro sets are free if you spend more in the bar.

Although it is a port, the water here is remarkably clean for swimming. The beach is easily accessible for both children and the elderly. The right side of the beach is much more beautiful, while the side near the taverns is less appealing due to limited water circulation

Lovely shallow & sandy beach in between the port and the mountains. Few umbrellas and bars along the beach but lots of space free to sit. Gorgeous sunset spot every night! Nearby restaurants all along the water too next to the port.

what can I say? I have been visiting Sifnos Island for more than 25 years now. this was always the place that I was choosing to stay and for good reason. The beach itself is amazing with crystal clear shallow waters, that gets deeper as you move on a lot of options to grab coffee, food or a drink and it is about 10 minutes from the center of the island.

One of the better beaches on the island of Sifnos. Lots of chairs under umbrellas to sit on. There are also some trees that provide good shade unlike some of the other beaches on the island. It's right next to the center of town so it's very close to good restaurants. The water is very clear and quite warm. Its good for small children as it is very calm and takes a while to get deep. If you want a proper swim you will have to walk out for a few meters until it gets deep.

We only got drinks. Nice terrace with a fantastic breeze and cool music. The prices are extremely high for non alcoholic drinks. In general their prices are high but for a non alcoholic I would expect to pay around 6€ and not 9€ for mainly soda water. The atmosphere is nice. The staff not very attentive.

My Friend and I were walking by this little bar and we decide to go for a drink here. The lady told us to sit on the empty table in front. Perfect. My friend went to the toilet, the waiter came and ask me what do you want to drink ? I told i wait my Friend to order because she is at the toilet. Ok happend but it was fake because 10 sec later a group of girls ask if they could sit here and they say yes and take our spot. Best bar in Sifnos for electro music. From 2am the DJ set is amazing. Barmans are great too. I will come back next time.
