Great place to go, fine atmosphere with great view. Coffee was nice too. The only reason I deduct a star is due to car park service. The service its self is fine. But parking attendants asking for a tip from every customer, every time we come here, is just inapropriate. 1- I can park my own car 2- you are getting paid a wage in Greece and tipping is extra, its not part of the wage. Tipping is given IF the client wants to give it for exceptional service. Not because you parked my car in an empty car park. Finaly the service provided is "enforced" by the carp park clerks. You are "not allowed" to park yoye own car. Making asking for tips after even less apropriate.

Lovely ambience and beautiful views. There is also vallet parking. Great option for brunch or coffee. We liked the place but it is definitely overpriced. 5€ for one cold coffee (freddo cappuccino side of tap water) is a bit too much. Due to an event there was no food that day, so I cant comment on that.

If you will be friendly , people will be friendly to you. 3. If you have any problem , you CAN SAY about it (but read first 2 advices). And for shure it will be fixed. 4. If you decided to go to the RESTAURANT ,of course you have to respect the place you choose. And you look have to be for this place. ( I hope you are not wearing to the theater swimsuit ?). 5. If you want to seat in front - make a reservation 😌 About the food : salad "Oohs" , carpacho , pasta with shrimps and pasta with beef - everything 5 from 5 ⭐ We paid 55 euro for food (with fresh juice, bread and water). Staff : professional ( a little slow, that is notmal for greek mentally). View super! Thank you, guys! Wish you to have just positive people on your way.

ISLAND VIBES! The balcony view is amazing and you can see the entire Thermaic Gulf. The excellent decoration of the place gives it a luxury look. Honestly at night it feels as if you're in visiting an island in the Aegean. Such a beautiful atmosphere. However, the prices are high - not to be surprised, considering the location and its view..and they barely offer anything with alcoholic drinks. Anyways, definitely a very unique place in Thessaloniki that's worth a visit though!

Pleasant place located on a cliff with good panorama, the only sad thing worth mentioning is the construction site in front below that spoils the view if you sit next to the edge.

A staple in Thessaloniki! Been going there for almost 20 years and it still is one of the prettiest bars/cafes/restaurants in the city. Drinks and food are awesome as well as the view especially during the summer. Has a island feeling for sure.

I was truly astonished by this place. All of the staff was friendly from the hostess to the server. The prices were higher than a usual Greek tavern, however the taste and the size of the dishes were truly justified. I really recommend this place - the food was delicious and everything was fresh. I highly recommended the shrimp pasta dish(the white version).

It’s one of my favourite places in Thessaloniki. We have been coming here for more than 10 years and every time the food and the service are amazing. The meals are pretty big and the prices are quite normal. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. The waiter explained every meal that we have questioned. The ambient is very cozy, the plates and napkins; everything were in harmony with the decoration. The food is amazing, every order has signature touch that makes the place unique. Even the toilet decoration has impressed me. I highly recommend visiting Methi Bistro & Wine Bar when you visit or pass Thessaloniki. I will come back again for sure!

It was the third time visiting! Very beautiful space, warm and cosy atmosphere. The food was really good but not as good as the previous time. The carpaccio needed something extra. The burata salads was marvellous and the trahanotto. The wine list is excellent and the service was perfect.

A really nice place worth visiting if you are around. Small and cosy with good vibes. The staff is extremely efficient and polite, we are talking high level service here. The gentleman who proposed the wine, immediately understood the flavor profile we were looking for and he suggested a great match. Neither cheap nor expensive but it worths the price you are paying.

Superb wine selection, very good food, cheese and meat selection. A place that I would go again targeting the wine selection. Spacing was a bit crowded (but just a bit) and music was a little up, so we could not hear one another without raising our voices. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. My suggestion for cheese would be not the platter but a hand picked cheese selection from the catalogue.

A great wine bar with delicious food! Tasos and his team has deep knowledge about wines and food pairing! The atmosphere is fantastic, no matter what the season is. There is a wide selection of Greek and all over the world wines but ask Tasos for recommendations! You should try tagliata or Flat Iron and there are many different plates every day!

I 'm gonna start with pros... The place has a vast variety of wines. It is also nice and quite cozy inside with a kind personnel. Wood texture almost everywhere and nice decoration. All these are accompanied with tasty dishes. Rolling over to cons now, the place has a lot yet to be considered a real bistro and it definitely has to correct specific issues. At first, you easily reach about 45-50euros - or even surpass them - with just a cheap wine (not anything great, since its prices start at about 22-24euros) and 2 dishes, even if you choose starters. So, it definitely should be listed at the "somewhat expensive" places to dine-in. It wouldn't be bad though, if the place would have taken care of its all-around atmosphere. In order to be called a bistro and wine bar, you have to take care of your music and create a calmed, relaxed and low-noise atmosphere. You close your door in order to avoid external noise, you play specific music at lower volume and you may ask a few customers not to yell that much for so long. OK, lets accept the fact that some companies are louder. Then you low your music! It's so simple, right? Finally, it was extremely infuriating the fact that we were waiting for almost 45' for a chocolate sphere (we had ordered it from the start, so they should know that it would come it's time and when it finally came, the place hadn't so many customers to serve, so I suppose something bad happened to the sphere... many times!!!), however, we didn't show our frustration, despite the fact that they never apologized or at least offer a small discount. You call yourself a bistro and wine bar, so at least keep a mentality to your 70euros bill customers (couple). In general, the place is an expensive one, especially if you choose from the mid or upper-mid priced wine bottles but I have to admit that at least, it serves satisfactory portions. You can choose glass instead, right? Ordering bottle and staying at low-priced dishes, you can have a fine dinner with a cost at about 60euros/couple. When it starts correcting the atmosphere issue, it could be a strong competitor to other restaurants of the city's center. For the time being, it plays by its own, thanks to the fact that there aren't other restaurants nearby, something that could easily change, though. Finally, the dessert (chocolate sphere) was really great and I suggest it, even if you are full to the top!

Ad a vegetarian I was absolutely satisfied with the vegetarian options. If we find the time we will be back and try the profiteroles dessert which was sold out unfortunately but also the ghana chocolate was amazing. The greek white wine that Theodore recommended can really compete with any French or German white wine and you should really try it. Keep up the great work guys. Update: Yes we did it again and we had another incredible, joyful night with Theodore and the whole crew. We also tried the profiteroles and it was absolutely worth it coming back. For a starter I had the special eggs with white truffle oil which was so divine. I also tried the vegetarian pasta with black pepper and cheese and it was such a simple dish with so much flavor. Well done again. We will definitely recommend you to friends and if we return to Thessaloniki you will be the place to be.

A beautiful all-day cafe/bar located in a neoclassical house. The interior is full of character. I recently went there for coffee but sat in the courtyard, as it was too fine a day to sit inside.

The atmosphere in the bar is great. The garden is well decorated, and the house is beautiful. We expected more from the coffee (both cappuccino and nes frappe). But, the fruit salad was nice and we got tasty chocolate croissants for free. All in all, recommended place in Thessaloniki 🍀

A timeless bar, nice decor, nice and warm atmosphere. It is located right on Vasilissis Olga Avenue, very close to the sea. The staff is kind. It has a very wide selection of draft beers. In the summer months it is worth enjoying a coffee or a drink at the tables outside.

The most shambolic bar I have ever been to. 8 of us went for a drink, it was relatively quiet. Took 20 minutes to take our order. After an hour only four drinks had arrived. Staff were rude and aggressive when questioned. Strongly recommend to avoid

Dentro sto Bar is an ideal Winter retreat, especially with in House Bands playing Live. Summer at Dentro sto Bar is adequate due to close proximity of one of Thessaloniki’s main Avenues into the City centrum. Service, Food and Personnel reflect an Honest approach to all Guests. Bravo, Chapeau.

Returning to this restaurant which I had visited years prior with my Greek friends. And yes, the interior is very cool, love it! The menu, however, has been directed to tourists with an undefined character and only very few classic Greek dishes. But truth be said, what we eventually got was very delicious. There were several reviews about the lack of service which we cannot confirm. Our waitress came instantaneously and the food arrived very quickly. The only real criticism that I would add is that the bill listed all items in Greek as “item” with a price but without specifying the names of the dishes: that is bad business practice.

This place is an absolute hidden gem – perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle for a while and enjoying a cozy seat with a wonderful view. You’re definitely paying for the view here, but it’s worth it. I’ve been here several times now – for coffee, brunch, and dinner – and we’ve rarely been disappointed. The fresh orange juice unfortunately isn’t worth the price – it’s quite watered down. The coffee, on the other hand, is consistently good, no matter the type. The smoothies are fantastic and highly recommended. My personal highlights are the sweet pancakes and the falafel dish. The salads are huge and worth its price. If you want to sit outside, it’s best to make a reservation in advance. Sitting inside is also nice, but it can get quite noisy.

You can have a gorgeous glass of wine from their wide selection, with the most gorgeous view of Thessaloniki and the White tower. Service is lovely. I've never tried the food but it looks nice. They have plenty of soft drink options, including smoothies and homemade lemonades if the wine list doesn't take your fancy.

We took the daily fish, it was burned. The salad was ok. The food took a-lot of time to come, only after I have asked the waiter to check (after 30 minutes that we ordered) they brought the food, the meat was already cold. There are seagulls just wandering in the restaurant also. The waiter asked us as we got how would we pay, but asked again in the end.

We visited after seeing good reviews for lunch and weren’t disappointed! We sat outside and had a lovely view and the staff were very friendly. The food was super tasty and well priced. We started with the cheese on grill and Ceviche which was delicious! Our mains were also really tasty … the avocado foam was heavenly! Would highly recommend as the food other tables ordered looked amazing too!

There is a parking and a nice view. We asked for a table on the down deck that had better view of the sunset. They were all empty but they told us they are all reserved. 2.5 hours later we left and not even half of them got full.

Me and my wife visit this place often, it's really good, I would put 5 stars because I believe it deserved it BUT, we visited again now after like almost a year and we were disappointed, specifically because of the cheese and meat platter which costs 20€, last time we visited it was very well worth it, it had a great variety of cheese and meats etc, great quality and good amount, however this time it was much inferior with not so great variety and much smaller quantities. Also the burrata salad was smaller than what it used to be. I understand things got more expensive but I didn't expect this place to degrade their quality, very disappointed, other than that the place is still good, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is also very good, I just wish they didn't drop their quality for which they are known for.

Came for hot Saturday lunch a little wary after reading some reviews. We loved it! Service was great! It's classy and we were a little underdressed but they gave us a warm welcome. They have fans and I we were very comfortable. The music was chill electronic and quite good. The place is beautiful and on the water. We had 5 food plates and they were all exceptional. The best Greek salad I've tasted and it was huge. Prices we thought were not bad. 14€ for the huge salad, 11€ for the croquette and most items 11€-15. We really enjoyed and would happily come back. Very fancy place on the coast with a great view of the sea and the sailboats. We came for a late breakfast/brunch at 1 PM, and thankfully, we could still order (lunch starts at 2 PM). The food and portion sizes were good, excellent for sharing. The coffee was great as well. Even at that time, there was a DJ playing good music, not too loud. Usually, my experience in Greece with service is not good, but here everything was quick, and the (Albanian ;-) ) waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Took my daughter to this bar - showing her a more upmarket side to Thessaloniki (even though she's lived in Thess for 8 years) The actual place is well designed, modern and stylish. We sat outside and watched the sunset. The seats were quite uncomfortable as there was nowhere to put you feet to face the sea. quite difficult to enjoy your drink. A glass of wine was 8 euro and they only gave us one tiny tub of nuts, no meze, like other similar bars had given us (Ciel) I did see people with a meze with cocktails (16 euro) Would I go again, maybe yes at a similar time just to see the sunset.

Went for brunch and it was a really nice experience. However, when I went for lunch the Carbonara pasta dish was too fatty for my taste and the desserts (tiramisu and black forest) were not very successful. They are certainly making an effort, but I feel they are not quite there yet... Would visit again though!

The fried eggs in two of the plates where overcooked and the white of the eggs was not cooked properly. The poached eggs on another dish was not cooked properly. Other than the eggs, the rest of the plates were quite nice.

This place honestly made me want to change my flight to another day, just so I could stay a bit longer. To be honest, most of the cocktails were on the sweeter side, but that's not necessarily bad. There was a lot of variety with some really unique mixes, and I could have stayed all night trying the different ones. Finally, the people there were amazingly friendly. Happy to give suggestions and talk about the area, and just made the cocktails that much sweeter. I'll definitely want to come back here.

If you are looking for a British vibe and atmosphere this is the place, very nice cafe bar to go and have a cold beer or a coffee. However the service was a bit off, let's don't forget that we are in Greece were they have amazing hospitality, however the two times I have been there the service was poor, the staff was rude and I felt that I don't want to go back for that reason. It is a shame because it's a nice place with good music. But the service is so important.

Nice place , quite good music and environment... Tho the service is not so good. We bought a beer and a fresh juice and both of them were very hot without icecubes. We had to wait 30 minutes and then they brought icecubes . Tho the prices were guite good.

I only gave a 2 star on the food because they don't have any. It's strictly a bar. Otherwise it's a really ice place to have drinks and social. The staff is friendly and willing to help if you have any questions.

I don't always leave a review but I feel I had to this time. We've had a bunch of shots, and by a bunch I mean at least 6 or 7 each. We were sober afterwards. They water out the shots. Imagine making people pay 3 euro a shot and watering them out. Don't you make enough profit? They also tried to scam me out when I asked a precise strong alcohol at 40°C by showing me a 20°C version saying "it's the same" and thinking I was too "tipsy" to check it. The good news is despite spending a bunch of money there, I felt hydrated. Don't go there. They are basically scammers.

Dizzy Dolls is a cool place for a hangout. They have a pool table upstairs (2€ for one game). The bartender was a really nice guy who was in for a chat. He recommended a shot from a Greek island that was really nice. Girl waiter outside was not that friendly but it couldn’t ruin the fun.

Perfect place to drink, DJ was awesome. He played rock and metal songs. He played songs we wanted.

Though I did get there pretty early for cocktails, they were delicious and about as close to a tiki bar as Thessaloniki has. I was told by the host that the rooftop is more tiki, but being winter in the Mediterranean it was closed for the season. Still the breakfast was great (kitchen open after 10am), it is a lot of food and dense so be prepared. One of my top 5 bars I visited.

We dropped there for brunch and had three different dishes: pancakes 🥞, Benedict eggs and bruschetta. We all enjoyed three dishes. They were very nicely taste-wise balanced. On top of that, the coffee ☕ was really fantastic and according to our taste. The milk foam for our cappuccino was very smooth. As far as I know they use Italian brand coffee. If you are lucky you will get the table closer to the edge with the gorgeous seaview during good weather :) The staff was very friendly too, no whatever issues with English and I can only compliment them related to the service.

Great view, but disappointing cocktails. The view is excellent - it overlooks the old city walls, city, sea and Mount Olympus in the background. We opted for a couple of virgin mojitos, but they were disappointing given the focus of the bar being a cocktail bar - the taste was a little bland and presentation uninspiring. On the other hand, their fruit pancakes looked and tasted fantastic! Overall, worth going if just for the view.

Very nice brunch selection and wonderful place in the middle of Kalamaria. The coffee is absolutely amazing and the service staff is extremely polite and helpful. There's currently an offer. Me & my boyfriend ,we had iced coffee ,at weekend and we enjoyed it very much! Pleasant atmosphere, quiet place with friendly stuff... Great wee pub just round corner from White tower. Amazing range of beers on tap, something for everyone and all tastes. Even have their version of a Dunkel (dark beer), as well as stout, porter, helles, IPA and more. Pop in, definitely worth a visit Price reflects how long I stayed and quite a few beers 🍻👍

This was a really cool place to explore and while I only tried a few beers, all the lambics and reds were great. The atmosphere was good and the bartender keep the snacks flowing. Good to explore something different in Thessaloniki.

This award-winning pub is a must for any serious craft beer drinker, when in Thessaloniki.

If you’ve come to this town with an idea of getting your head around some of the history of craft brew, then as far as my research can tell, this bar is the earliest craft brew bar in the city. Additionally, if you’re looking for not just lager and light pale ales, you’ve come to the right place. With a broad selection of both brilliantly brewed Greek beer, as well as some exciting guest beers on tap, there was something for everyone in our party. Prices are fair, and the beer was absolutely as fresh as hoped.

Lastly, we tried their flap steak which was a disappointment. There is confusion about the portions and the cooking was mediocre. Lovely wine bar with a great selection of Greek wines a d nice, simple food menu to accompany your wine selection. The staff is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. But slow though...think not enough for the number of guests when full. Nevertheless, will come back again when looking for a nice glass/bottle of Greek wine.

Aristotle Square is a beautiful place. The crowd is quite crowded. It's close to the sea. It has its own flair. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in Thessaloniki.

Beautiful place plus you got the Kapani Market and crazy amount of gift shops to buy cute gift for everyone back home. Kapani Market is closed on Sundays.

It was a very nice experience. You get to see one of the best views in Thessaloniki when it turns!! The have really nice service and the drinks were very tasty 😋. The only issue was that we thought it was a restaurant and it turned out to be more of a bar than other offering only club sandwich of 3 kinds and 2 different salads. That's okay tho because that was our fault for the misunderstanding! The prices are quite high but it's reasonable for the kind of bar it is. It has very nice atmosphere, the lights in the night will give you the perfect set up for the best picture!! Have fun!

A great place to spend an hour or two. There are some food options, a good selection of wine, some beers, cocktails and refreshments. The staff are very nice. The rotating allows you to enjoy the view over the city from every possible angle. I recommend booking a table in advance. I imagine coming here around sunset would feel magical.

Really great 360 views of the entire city. The restaurant does one full rotation an hour so you can get a panoramic view of Thessaloniki while sitting on your table. The drinks and the food are expensive and the options are really average, I was really disappointed by that but I guess people visit just for views. The service was very polite and the sitting was comfortable.

I don't know why this attraction not in top 20 things to do. The view is just great! The concept is interesting. There is an elevator, of course. The food was not bad at all. Cold green tea is the best I ever taste. Ceaser salad was with good portion of chicken. The tower makes half a round in one hour. It was pleasure for me being there. The waiters also help to arrive to the toilet floor (it looks complicated, so just visitors from outside couldn't get to the toilet)... The prices are little high, but you are paying also for a panoramic views.

Fresh Nigiri you can't beat!!! We went for the sushi combo, the girls loved it! And the best part the chef prepared different maki with cucumber, vegetables and fried shrimp for the children who loved it!! Amazing atmosphere, outside cocktail bar, haven't been to a finest place these days, very well done!! Need to reserve ahead of time for sushi nights (Thursdays), grilled fine cuts also available for meat lovers. Everything was delicious, professional service, always someone around you.

I am been there for diner there with some friends and we ordered the 4 types of pizza they have : the pizzas are quite pricey (13-14e), the ingredients are barely OK (tomato sauce savorless, and same for the mozzarella that is being used...), and the dough is a total mess (to much oil used to prepare it, and it am pretty sure that they don t use good flour nor they lest the dough rest for a significant amount of time) that does not rises at all. Finally, the oven is not a charcoal oven.... I had not eaten such bad pizzas in quite a long time to be honest.

Jumped in for a quick snack and some whine. Greek Salad was on the spot, tastfull and rich. Local red whine in dry and some sweter version are a dood choice to start.

If you are looking for amazing grilled meat then this is the best option for you. If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would. This places is probably the best food I had for ages. We love grilled meat and we ordered many different options to try and all of them were amazing. Very well grilled, soft and juicy. The taste was also really good. I am so impressed with the food. On top of that the staff was so friendly with a nice sense of humor which I loved and also prices were normal as well. Congratulations! We are definitely coming back again!

We went for valentine's dinner. The place was super cozy yet romantic, the food perfectly cooked and the wine list HUGE. Very interesting pairings and flavours to try for all fish, meat, soups. Parking area is available nearby. The staff was very kind to us and even offered blankets for the people sitting outdoors, even though there was heating.

It has a large list of wines, domestic and imported, wonderful cocktails and very tasty food. It is a bit expensive for the size of the food portions. Staff is very polite but needs a little training concerning the speed for delivering orders.

It's the little gestures that make a restaurant great: A warm welcome framed with a smile. Each table is adorned by a small dry-erase bouquet. On the tables is a non-glare light, handy for reading your menu. Art on the wall! The food was tasteful and creatively composed. A feast for the eyes and a treat for the tongue. The space was also decorated with care with well-seated chairs and with nice lighting without being too bright. Beautifully decorated. The three kind, sweet and efficient girls in the service deserve special praise. Kudos. One small downside: I don't know what the general policy is, but after a meal I like it when the table is cleared before you start your cocktail. Ending on a plus note: afterwards you get a delicious glass of liqueur on the house. I'll be back.

The best wine bar in the area. Wine list has both Greek and International wines. Food pairing is excellent, do try the salad with Strawberries and Salmon, the Tombinambur plate and Risotto alla Milanese. Service is highly professional but friendly aswell.

One of the best places I've ever visited! One star for the kindness of the blonde waitress,,, I had booked the table after 4 consecutive Saturdays, and that's fine,, after I went out to smoke for 2 minutes,,, the other waiters occupied my table for other people... when the table was occupied with the drinks just taken and the jackets on the chairs... this is disrespect for the customer

Great cocktails and nice service. Location was top. I ordered cocktail named "Only lovers left alive" and it was very spicy with chilli paper inside so be careful if you don't like spicy things. Also, everyone gets the popcorns and snacks beside drinks which is very cool. Price range for cocktails is 9.50-12€

Rude staff , would never go back Awful behaviour, bullying towards clients and no disposition to take in client's feedback. It all started with a service man telling a company of three men that we can't stand in an otherwise clear corridor. Two of them went out, I came back on my own and the service man came back and said "why are you back". This was clearly bullying. I had a lengthy discussion with the guy in chief and was reassured this was not the case. However, after an amicable discussion and feedback on how to improve their staff attitude, a co-owner and barman told me off. Not only did I experience biased and unjustified behaviour, but after a constructive argument I was told I should go and never come back. This is an exemplar behavior of poor hospitality and rudeness to clients. Although I liked this bar I will never come back. Too bad I spent time discussing constructive criticism that felt futile. All in all awful experience.

- Nice and hot atmosphere at night with good music filled with many people. - the place is not big, it’s just a little bar. - the drinks were amazing, we had “Anna” and “Zoi”. My favorite was Anna, which was absolutely the best sweetness, I loved it. - it was very crowded around 11pm, it was hard to get a table for 2 people since it was filled with local(seems) young people. Second floor has a toilet and not used as a bar. - easy to locate the place since it’s close to the city center.

Lovely caffee/bar . It feels fresh and unique. It starts with a relaxing mood and tends to get louder as the night goes on. Friendly staff, unique cocktails and very nice music. Though it gets crowded it doesn't have the classic cigarette smell that bad. The only thing that I did not like were the portions of the cocktails, I found them small for the prices. And there is only one lebel of beer (estrella) and one lebel of wine.

Best Bar in town! Where would one even begin? The wide variety of cocktails, made by the greatest bartenders makes Gorilla Bar the place to be if you want to try out new, creative cocktails, or just a twist on the classics. Then we've got the friendliest Staff you will ever meet. And to top it all of, Gorilla's DJs are gems! There's no other place to party like there, especially on Friday and Saturday nights

The best cocktail bar in the town. Everybody from the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel great but first of all they are having a great time for themselves and this absolutely reflects on their work. Maybe there's no strict or posh atmosphere in this bar but there's deep knowledge behind every creation as there's a stat of the art bar lab hidden in their basement. Extra tip ask them to show you their lab, you'll be amazed!

I’d give it 4/5 just because of the location but there are great vibes and nice staff. Everything you need to gamble + the smoking area isn’t terrible if you need an extra table. Free drinks, and if it’s your first time you also get a meal. I’ve seen with my own eyes a royal flash (12,000 euro) and 2 people winning random lottery daily stuff.

Interesting Experience at Regency Casino Thessaloniki The casino overall is a very nice place — clean, well-organized, and with a classy atmosphere. It’s one of the better entertainment spots in Thessaloniki for an evening out. However, I had a mixed experience at the Texas Hold'em tables. Unfortunately, players are not allowed to view their hole cards in the usual way, which takes away from the authentic feel of the game. It’s a bit disappointing for poker enthusiasts expecting a standard playing format. Additionally, the bar service could be improved. The staff was polite but a bit slow, and the drink selection and availability weren’t great. Still, if you're looking for a fun night out and enjoy a lively casino setting, it’s worth visiting — just manage your expectations if you're going for the poker tables.

Nice casino with excellent customer service. The outdoor restaurant, O Kipos, was outstanding. Beautiful layout, excellent food and service and live music which was wonderful. A relaxed pace added to the enjoyment. Ian's Lounge inside the casino is a great place to start the evening with a cocktail prior to dinner. Low lighting and comfortable seating allow for a perfect conversation setting.

I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, which means I have a good view from many local meeting places. This is one of the best in town! Excellent wine selection, great flavours and exceptional service. Despite being in a wine region, Thessaloniki has few wine bars. Souel is a wine bar that would be highly rated anywhere. Well done to the owners!

I stopped by with a friend for a glass of wine, it was really busy but we were able to stand at the counter. One of the owners talked to us about the kind of wine we were interested in and made really good recommendations. We also received water and a small snack. The food looked delicious and the wine was reasonably priced.

My dad showed me this place during our recent trip to Thessaloniki and it was honestly amazing! The owners are super accommodating and friendly, the food is simply wonderful (they make one of the best tuna tataki ever), the wine selection is really impressive. If you’re more of a beer drinker like me they have some bottle options as well. A must-visit in the city!

Lovely place near the sea at the Thesalonika heart Kalamaria. The place is very new and clean. The stuff is extremely pleasant. I love the choice of music playlist. You can sit inside or enjoy the great outside view. The interior of the caffe is unique and originally designed . Disappointment. Απογοήτευση. Too bad because we were good customers,living in the neighbourhood. This plate is the 'super bowl', which should be renamed as 'poor bool'. Dear management, respect your own menu: this plate was supposed to have 'boiled eggs'(in plural). Instead,I got 1 egg (how super is that). In the place of 'bread' there was a reheated imitation of a bread-like product which was cold, hard, impossible to eat. The plate costs 7 euro and leaves you hungry. Waste of money. I ended up eating my partner's plate, which was descent. When I told the staff , they just looked at me in bewilderment saying nothing. One more thing- although its holidays, the characteristic fireplace that we used to love sitting by was not burning this time. If you don't make up a christmassy atmosphere during the holidays, then when will it be the right time ? Ps. Our order was : 1 super bowl 1 plate of pancakes 2 cappuccinos

Quite possibly the coolest bar in the world. The atmosphere is an unforgettable mix of eclectic charm and laid-back vibes. Their drink selection is top-notch—featuring Trappist beer on tap, which is a rare find and a huge win for beer lovers. We didn’t get a chance to try the mixed drinks, but based on everything else, I’m confident they’re just as impressive. A special shout-out to Paris, our server, who went above and beyond to make sure we were completely taken care of. His service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. This spot is effortlessly cool, unpretentious, and memorable. We’ve traveled extensively, and this place genuinely stands out. A must-visit!

Superb, relaxed bar with eclectic decor and an extensive range of beers, spirits and cocktails. Including Belgian / Trappist / IPA / Stout, and more, both local Greek and international beers. We had a lovely evening chilling out, soaking up the atmosphere, and trying a variety of drinks. Constantine, at the bar, was friendly and helpful, and his signature cocktail was superb - highly recommended! Well worth a visit ....

One of the coolest pubs I have ever been to. One thing I don't like around here, is that they bring you things that you did not order and make you pay for it. Here, we got nuts, chocolate for the rum and water, we had to pay for all. It would be okay, if they asked us at least. This seems to be the case everywhere in Thessaloniki, maybe Greece in general. Also, I asked for a Brewdog Punk IPA from the tap. Unfortunately, it was sour, possibly spoiled. Told this to the bartender and said im right, brought me another craft IPA and said it was on the house. Nice and fair. There was only one bartender there that day, shout out to him, because he was very nice, although we had to wait quite a bit, but I understand that is not his fault, because there were seven of us, only one of him. Anyway, the sandwiches were so good, the drinks were decent, the vibe is impeccable, I would recommend it to anyone.

You can’t describe with words. You must pay a visit.

Nice port. You can see the White Tower and Arch of Gallerius. Walking distance to both. No need for a tour here. There’s a waterfront promenade with bars, restaurants and shoppes. You must try a local bougatsa. A sweet or savory pastry…try one of each … you won’t be sorry.

Wonderful place from which you have an outstanding view of the White Tower and Boulevard Nikis. I was lucky to see a ship from the second world war. It was an amazing moment with soldiers and lots of people. Every day in this city is just a bless.

The port of Thessaloniki is a beautiful place to take a walk. We took a long walk from the White Tower all the way to the Music Hall and seeing the sunset while we walked was something out of a romantic story. I would recommend doing it and also stopping and eating at one of the many restaurants/cafes on the long seaside.

I was really looking forward to going to this place. Unfortunately, the waitresses struggled to crack a smile and the service was quite slow. The food is quite expensive, 13 euros for a simple burger, with no accompanying salad or fries. The atmosphere upstairs is lacking, due to uncomfortable seating that is badly laid out.

Nice environment (looks like a Tiki Bar), good service, and decent cocktails. In rare cases, you may need to make a reservation, especially if you prefer a table in the veranda. I have been a couple of times already, and it is a place I would recommend to those avoiding loud places.

A very nice cafeteria in the center of kalamaria pedestrian street. The service and atmosphere are excellent and it is a great place to enjoy a cofffee or a brunch! We attended to a 6 year old birthday party organised by the coffee shop and everything was great! The service, food for kids and adults, as well as the toys for kids to play. The coffee shop is decorated nicely and has a relaxing atmosphere.

Monopoly is like a museum but you can Play games, eat and drink. It's s must see in Thessaloniki. This is one of the best cafés I've ever visited. You can have fun but also chill your mind and watch the sea on the balcony. The service is cool and nice 👍 Recommended 💯

Funny (or even weird) place for all ages. Many games to play while enjoying your coffee or beer. There also are monitors to watch sports if you're into such places. Bare in mind that you can also grab something to eat. A big con though is that smoking is still allowed...

Was charged 7 euros with no justification. 2 brunches that based on catalogue costed together 18 euros , plus 2 coffees another 7 and a lemonade another 4 is total 29. I was charged 36.5 euros. I don't know if they charged the tap water they brought and the sweet they brought without ordering it when we sat .

It was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a morning coffee or brunch. It was a nice spot to play some morning chess. The parking around this area is relatively easy. They have plenty seating options, nice chill music and relatively decent service. They weren’t so good with English but all went okay since I went with a local Greek speaker. I like the location itself with good winds, a nice view, and it’s relatively quiet area.

I recently visited Στην Ταράτσα, a spot that’s super popular among youngsters, and I can definitely see why. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are awesome, and the cocktails are both tasty and reasonably priced — totally worth the hype. That said, the experience isn’t always smooth. I tried visiting 3–4 times over the summer, and only once was I able to actually find a place to sit (and that was on 14/08). Having to climb four floors of stairs only to find a huge line waiting at the top is pretty disappointing. I’d recommend the place for the drinks and vibe, but it would make a huge difference if they added some kind of system to show availability before you make the climb.

A very cool rooftop bar. Good music. People were waiting in line to get in at 10. Service was so so. The entrance is a bit scary and you have to walk like 5 floors up to get there but nothing too bad.

Hidden gem with raw charm and great cocktails! Stumbled upon this roof garden in Thessaloniki almost by accident, and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous finds of the summer. Located on the top floor of a beautifully decayed old building, it has this gritty, urban charm that feels effortlessly cool like a secret spot only the locals know about. Staff was friendly without being overbearing, and prices were fair, especially for the quality. It's not your typical rooftop with glitter and glam more like a post-industrial hideout for people who appreciate good drinks, good music, and raw aesthetics. Definitely coming back. Not for the view, but for the vibe!🫡

Yesterday night I went there with my brother because we wanted to celebrate Halloween since their program looks cool. Unfortunately we couldn’t since the guy at the security asked us where are you from. We are French but with black origins and he said no entrance for people like you and were insulting us in Greek then. Our Greek friend who is white and was behind us then report this to us and then tried to enter and he allows him true entrance. We are in 2024 but apparently there they still leave in 1800. Wake up people.

Great place to dance  2 different music floors. 1st floor is smaller, hosting live gig events and metal and goth parties. Ground floor, hosts Disco Party’s (every Friday),stand up comedy shows and live gigs as well. Enough space to bang your head (if you have the hair for it!). Everyone is friendly enough. Tips: Great air-conditioning and air-ventilation which makes great place for the post covid period. Smoking is not allowed.

Great craft beer bar. If you like different beers then you must come here. A huge menu of different beers. Plus a wife selection of different drinks. Also the interior is very well decorated.

They serve 200 types of beer and their prices are very affordable. It is not possible to find such a variety of beer even in many cities of Central Europe.

For being called a pub, I was greatly disappointed with the fact that they only had something like 4 beers on draft and they were all pretty commercial. They have a lot of beer options and plenty are local/Greek but they are only available as a bottle. The location is good as it's on the hipster Al Svolou St. Like I said before I'm used to going to a bar/pub in the U.S. that has at least 20-30 beers so this was a different experience for me. Otherwise the establishment is pretty chill.

Probably my personal favourite bar in Thessaloniki! I visited Taxidi a few days ago and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. Firstly it's more of an after hours bar so I suggest going there after 1 am as it's early enough to find seats. Secondly the prices are actually really good for a simple drink it's 7 euros beers are around the 5-6 euro range. Lastly the music is just wow loved it, an excellent mix of entexna can't wait to go there again.

Lovely bare with amazing artsy vibe!

I was there a few days ago after being a little frustrated with non fitting bar recommendations for me from the internet. When I passed the street I followed the volume of the people and the music and felt like this seems like a good place to be. When I saw the signs and friendly stickers I felt welcomed which was the general tone of the entire bar. After walking in I was welcomed by smiling bartenders and in general BEAUTIFUL people. I had a good chat with Gianni the first day and when I came back the next day it was a much bigger blast. Funny interactions, people being happy and smiling all along, good recommendations for drinks, getting taken care of by filling up my water without any hesitation (which might be a culturak difference from Germany to Greece, yet I still appreciate it a lot) and so much more. I enjoyed the music which was heavily bass influenced that day (and as a bass player myself I can only applaude to that haha) as well as the drinks! The bartenders experimented when having time and just fooled each other, which from the outside seemed like a wonderful team that not only works together but enjoys each others company. I'm usually a silent bar enjoyer that observes people and their attitude a lot. That said: I have never been more caught, immersed and hypnotized/entranced in a simple people connecting space like this. Put into perspective that I am not a typical bar person that enjoys an everyday beer with a friend. Next point is that I'm highly romanticising everything I saw because it felt so amazing, so if any of that sounds off or unreal to the people that are reading this: It is my personal experience with this bar after having a 4 day short vacation in Greece and it's not a universal experience everyone has to have. Depending on the attitude/hopes/wishes/feelings you go into the bar with, you will find other topics that you keep an eye on and you will most likely find other areas in the field to talk about, which is really important! I still hope that my review was helpful to anyone that will ever visit this bar and hopefully you have a nearly, equally nice or better experience in comparison to me. Sincerely Penelope~

We ordered 3 draft beers and paid for 3 draft beers but the bartender thought different and used a cheaper canned beer that we saw him pour and top with their regular draft beer so it looked authentic, another guest complained about the beers being warm and without fizz (due to the same scam) and got new ones as they should be. But here it ends for me. As a person in the service business myself, I was so disgusted by rage that I did not have the means to complain over this scam without having to yell my lungs out. Wisely we choose to leave the establishment and decided that this ultra scammer bar will never be visited again by us and a warning for others to come should be given. I hope that the owner sees this and fires the bald and bearded bartender at work, because this is a business killer.

Cool place and atmosphere (decadent a bit). Better visit on a warm night in the spring, winter is not its strong suit. Bonus tip: inside you can find an American billiard table and an arcade (Tekken 3), the latter with a very washed out screen but who cares ...Tekken 3! Don't just visit, explore every bit of its decor.

I traveled from Georgia specifically to taste Greek wines and local food, and this cozy wine bar in the heart of Thessaloniki was an incredible find! The owner, with decades of experience, has curated an exceptional range of Greek wines. I tried six or seven different glasses—maybe more—and ended up staying from 9 pm until around 2 am. The owner was so kind and knowledgeable, sharing detailed explanations of each wine’s taste, origin, and grape variety. I’d love to host him at my own winery one day! Highly recommend this place for any wine lover.

An amazing atmosphere wine bar that seems out of a 60s movie from Paris. Fantastic plates accompany the best wine list in Thessaloniki. If you are an oenophille this is a must stop exceptional wines from old vintages and an owner that can create unique experiences!!!! I will definitely be coming back!

A very Rustic place, stuck in time, witch is a good thing. We tried a Greek wine after consulting with the barman. He was spot on and we enjoyed it a lot. As an accomodation we ordered a nice plate with cheese and salami. We will for sure revisit and re-evaluate since we liked it a lot. Definitely worth visiting.

The best beer in Thessaloniki and live music

When we arrived at the place, we experienced a significant delay in service, despite the place not being crowded. We had to ask the waiter twice to take our order and waited for nearly 20 minutes. What was disappointing was that he proceeded to serve other tables that arrived after us indicating poor management and organization. The food was basic.

Have visited twice and plan to go back.BUT Some dishes are better than others. The sausage platter is it always cold as well as the fries. The inside needs to be redecorated. It looks somewhere between a highschool cafeteria and a play place for kids
