My recent dining experience was mixed. My husband ordered the Cauliflower Shawarma Bowl, and he found the flavor profile to be lacking. I opted for the seafood chowder, which I enjoyed, although it was a bit too heavy on the milk. I must say, though, that both dishes were beautifully plated. On the service side, our server was not particularly attentive. Additionally, the person who delivered our food seemed visibly annoyed, which detracted from the overall experience. The food here was really tasty! I had the local chowder and, for my main, the pan-fried haddock fillet. The chowder was delicious, hearty, and came with two biscuits and butter — a perfect start. The haddock tasted good but wasn’t particularly impressive, and the presentation could definitely be improved to make it look more appetizing. As for why it’s not a 5-star review: aside from the haddock’s presentation, our outdoor table wasn’t properly cleaned — there were crumbs and sticky spots left from previous guests. Overall, still a nice meal, but there’s room for improvement.

Always liked their food especially the salads. Found a new favourite tonight, the seafood stew. They open year round so very convenient. Our server for the night Courtney was very friendly and welcoming. My family and I had a great time and enjoyed the food. We just hoped the windows were a bit cleaner so we can see outside better.

Outstanding. Visited for the morning. Restaurant opened at 11:00 and we were first to sit on the patio as our fur family member needed some shade. Clam chowder was simply the best. Outstanding! We sharrdclamati and lobster roll and were equally as impressed.

Seafood Quartet was delicious, especially the salmon, which was perfectly seasoned and tender. However, the vegetables were not seasoned at all. Lobster Mac & Cheese had very little lobster for the price, the sauce was too thin and could’ve used more seasoning. I did like the Seafood Chowder; it was loaded with seafood, and came with a really good artisan biscuit.

Went there one afternoon with my friends (4 of us). The view and staff were nice, but the food was really disappointing. I ordered the fish cake — it tasted more like a potato patty with bits of fish. The bean burger and cauliflower bowl were just okay, nothing special. Wouldn’t go back for the food.

We had a great experience at The South Shore Fish Shack! We ordered the fish burger and the lobster bun—both were absolutely delicious and came with a generous serving of crispy fries. We also tried a couple of their local tap beers, and they were pretty good too! The guy working there was super friendly and helpful—he gave us great recommendations, and we were glad we followed his advice. The outdoor patio is a cool spot with a beautiful view of the ocean and the iconic Bluenose II. There’s also a cozy indoor dining room, which is perfect if the weather turns cold or rainy. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Lunenburg!

So good. Perfect Nova Scotia seafood. Perfect spot for lunch. We stopped for lunch and had mussels (yes!!!), and lobster burger. The salmon dip was also delicious. Service was great. Food was great. Views/atmosphere even better.

Shared a delicious lobster and fries with my partner on our visit here. The food was so good and cooked to perfection, and the size was amazing for the price. The girl who took our order was lovely and very friendly, although you pick up your own food so you do not interact much with any servers. We also had a beautiful view of the water, which made the food taste even better.

The service was excellent and the food was really yummy! The fish was perfectly battered and cooked and the taste was delicious! They came downstairs after we collected our food at the counter to check and see how everything was. Great service, friendly team and I’m still full 6 hours later!

The people very friendly but it’s sad that tourists leave thinking that their seafood is Nova Scotia’s best seafood. My husband had the two piece fish n chips. Too much tasteless batter, fries were string fries, both soaked in grease. The coleslaw was stale. I had their ‘seafood chowder’, the shrimp was canned and rubber, the potatoes and carrots were just barely cooked and it was watery rather than creamy as it should be. What a waste! Never again!

The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food quality is decent, but the service can be limited when it gets busy. Also, tips and the cost of food are collected before serving, which feels unusual. It would be better if the tip amount reflected the level of service provided.

Perfect place for some quick fish and chips. We had a busy day kayaking and asked our guide where the best f&c were in Lunenburg. He recommended Fish Shack. Ordering was nice and simple at the till. They give you a buzzer when the food is ready. Main patio was bust so we went down the stairs where it was quiet. Food was just what we needed and delicious. The manager checked on us a couple of times and was really pleasant. We will be back next time we visit.

Great food with a wide selection which isn't all shellfish! It's very busy so there might be a short wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. Service is quick and the food is very good. My husband and I have had the beet salad, teriyaki salmon, ham and brie sandwich pizza and pork burger. I'd be happy to recommend all of them. If you are happy to cope with the weather conditions then try to sit outside. The views are great and it's quieter.

I didn't stay here, only eating lunch here, but the people were phenomenally friendly, food was delicious, prices reasonable and atmosphere was fantastic. I can see why it's a popular spot. The location is beautiful but you will have a heck of a time finding a parking spot. When you do it's paid parking via old school meter that is fed with coins. No card. So $2 for 1 hr. Make sure you have change, which is rare these days. It's a lovely spot to walk after a hearty meal. I recommend this spot. Veggie options too so it's nice for folks that don't eat meat or fish. Service was also spot on, never having to chase anyone down. Attentive and timely. The food came out in good time as well that a party of 7 of us took about an hour from the moment we were seated to the moment we walked out. Great place.

One of the best meals you’ll eat in Nova Scotia. Excellent, inventive and fresh. Cannot recommend this place enough. My sister and I split a lobster roll, chowder and salad. Everything was delicious. Service was great and it’s got a killer view.

Fabulous dining experience! Came based on local colleague’s recommendation. The seafood chowder was rich and tasty and the beet salad with scallops was perfectly dressed and perfectly seared scallops. Service is friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the view of the harbour sitting on the deck.

Had dinner here for the first time after it had been hyped up over the years while passing through town. Service was good, very nice and attentive servers, however the food was not up to snuff. Appetizers: The crab cheese dip was 100% cheese and 0% crab; the shrimp bruschetta was served as a salad with toast on the side. Both were well below expectations and standards of such a restaurant. Mains: Fish cakes were basically mashed potatoes cakes with next to no fish detected. The Lobster roll was way too much bread and mayonnaise, way too little lobster for the hefty price tag of this menu item. Cocktail: Blueberry Mojito was the first item on their cocktail menu. It can only be described as blueberry juice as there was no noticeable amounts of alcohol or mint present. It also came out in less than a minute making us think it either came from a can or it wasn’t finished before it was served - either is possible based on our experience! Overall, it was really 2 stars but given our good service and comfortable seating in the corner at the window, that earns another star. Would not return.

Great place to eat in lunenburg. We had the burger, pear and prosciutto pizza, and the seafood chowder. I’m not a seafood chowder person normally, but this was absolutely amazing, 5/5. The burger was ok, just a regular burger, bun was a bit dry. Nothing special about it, but tasted good. The potato’s were really good though with the garlic aioli. The pizza was really good. Cool combo, never had something quite like it. Little bit too much arugula on top for my liking, but my partner didn’t mind. The vibe is great in here, and service was great, would definitely go back again

Down for the day and popped in for lunch. Had pizzas (me the prosciutto and pear, hubby had the one with pretty much everything). So good! Can’t wait to come back for another. Coffee was excellent too!

Really enjoyed my visit! The fish tacos were fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and they really nailed the seasoning. The chowder was decent, though not as memorable as the tacos. It could’ve used a bit more depth, but still enjoyable. Overall, a great spot with solid food. I’d happily come back, especially for the tacos!

We went for the lobster which was unfortunately not available anymore. You’ll need to be quick. The nachos with dip were good. The lobster sandwich was also good, the lobster tail was great. Service was friendly and fast. The place has a cool vibe and has tables overlooking the water. We had a nice evening.

We seen a sign that said fresh oysters a buck a shuck so we decided to have some. I ordered a dozen oysters and was a little disappointed. The ice had melted and the oysters were covered with water, which diluted the taste. For drinks my wife had a For The Love of Agave and she liked it. I had the Lobster Mary with Clamato juice and it was decent. The service was very good and the location awesome. We would go back again.

We had a lovely lunch of muscles, fish and chips, halibut steak, rum drinks and a couple Caesars. The breading on the fish and chips was perfect, light and a nice crunch to it. Chantel our server was wonderful and had everything out to us quickly and never left us waiting. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

I had a really awesome time at Lunenburg, and the cherry of top of the visit was a late lunch at the Old Fish Factory. The Clam Chowder, Sea Food Dip and the Haddock were fantastic. Must have for anyone visiting there.

Took a nice trip along the shore of Nova Scotia and stopped in for some food. The space was nice but not my kind of setting. The service was very fast and friendly. The food hit the spot. The fries were delicious and the fish was cooked really well. If you are in Lunenburg check it out.

Fantastic tour with Meg. She is so good. Very good products. Their 10yo rum and rum on the boat is very good. The vodka is exceptional. Their whisky has lots of potential and a couple of their expressions even though young are actually worth buying

We are from Connecticut, USA and visited here for our Anniversary. We did a tasting and everything we tried we enjoyed and subsequently bought to bring home. At a cute-small-unique town as Lunenburg, visiting the local distillery is just... magic. Many tourists, as myself, get fascinated by stories and this distillery has plenty. They have great selection of spirits and rum. For me, that was born in one of the most famous rum producers in the Caribbean, tasting the quality of their rum is just a high-end experience. Don't miss to come here when you are visiting Lunenburg, you'll love it!!!

Fun tour. Very in-depth and historical. Lots of tastings with a good variety of liquors. There was even "sweet" Maple rum and Maple Cream tastings for girls like me who don't like the strong stuff !!

Cool.history behind the building, some neat relics still there as well as the history and antiquity of the building itself. Really friendly staff, knowledgeable, personable, welcoming. Really interesting spirits, unique methods, loved everything I tried.

Charming as hell. We were very pleased with the wide selection of local craft beer, and the food was great - had the lobster roll, which was on special, and the fish cakes. Sometimes old pubs feel too dark and dank and sticky for my liking, but this place was none of those!

While the menu avoids tourist traps, they expertly feature what's fresh and local. I was lucky enough to enjoy a delicious lobster roll special, perfectly paired with a local pilsner. The fact that locals flock here year-round is all the proof you need—this is the real Lunenburg experience.

Super friendly service but they can get a little slow once it becomes a full house. Food was excellent and thankfully we asked about the lobster roll which isn't on the menu. Everything tasted great. The must try here is the Caesar Salad. They said it made them famous on the menu and I was skeptical but it is amazing. If your tired are exploring Lunenburg, take the extra walk and give the Knot a try!

There’s Something magical alive and well in this pub. Felt as if we’d stepped back in time. Believed for a moment we were one of the regulars. Great food, great vibe, watched an old guy chat it up with neighbors, a table with some friends Sharing a beer and meal. Truly what a pub should feel like. We loved every minute.

A local pub that's away from the tourist scene, but still easily walkable. Very friendly staff, our bartender Connie was wonderful, the menu has something for everyone, we enjoyed the lobster linguine, and the Knotwurst with sauerkraut and hit peppers.

Don’t waste your money. I am not usually picky but I came here for the first time and ordered two double drinks. we couldn’t taste the liquor in them at all and they seemed watered down but we let it slide, then when our food showed up, both our burgers were pink in the middle after biting into them. After telling our server, they didn’t remediate the situation and made us pay full price for our drinks after asking for our bill so we could leave and eat somewhere else as I was sick to my stomach.

Very busy, a tiny place with a great appeal. It seems to be full all day. The service is quick and efficient, although at busy times you may have to wait a wee bit for a seat. The prices were great( The Knot Pub,not a reason to raise them just yet😉). It seemed like it could be a great meet up place for the gang. Even a nice place for a family, or couple to enjoy a good meal,great service, great place. 👍👍👍👍👍 Five thumbs up. The amount we spent was for two people with two visits. 😊 That's how good it is.

The food is absolutely delicious, I have to recommend the Scallop & Rabbit risotto which I the one I had. It was just the best risotto I had in my life, no doubt about it! Good options of drinks and my husband and I just loved the cheese cake we had for dessert. Incredible service, good timing and very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a bit pricey but we got what we paid for!

We loved everything about our dining experience at Beach Pea! From the cute decor to the excellent service (shout out to Justin) to the delicious gourmet food, this is a must try if you are in Lunenberg. Be sure to make a reservation as even on a Sunday evening it was very busy! Our favourites were the Sepia pasta and the scallop & lamb risotto…and of course, the desserts (if you have to choose just one, the cheesecake is mouthwatering).

Ate here during our one evening in Lunenburg. Was recommended by many. There was only 2 of us - so they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. But I’d recommend a reservation! Had the Carbonara Pasta, the Bruschetta and the Tuna Tartare. All was wonderful. Also had a non-alcoholic beverage that was delicious!

Fantastic food, beautiful patio and awesome service! The mussels are the best I ever had, the scallops and rabbit is a very interesting and delicious combo I have never had before. My 18 month old loved the bread dipping in the sauce and had the fullest meal he had so far during the trip! We really enjoyed the experience!

The Beach Pea Kitchen & Bar in Lunenburg is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Not just on this trip, not just in Canada, but in my entire life. Everything about this place was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The space is cozy yet refined, with a relaxed charm that immediately puts you at ease. Our server, Justin, made the evening truly unforgettable. He was kind, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. His passion for the food and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. We started with both fresh and cooked oysters, including the Rockefeller oysters, and they were absolutely perfect. The arugula salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The pasta with shrimp was seasoned so well that every bite felt carefully crafted. Justin recommended two standout dishes—the scallops and the rabbit rice. Both were incredibly flavourful and cooked to perfection. The rabbit rice in particular was unlike anything I’ve had before, with rich, deep flavours that felt like something from a world-class kitchen. For dessert, we ordered the strawberry tiramisu, and it was the perfect finish—light, creamy, and full of fresh strawberry flavour. What sets Beach Pea apart is not just the quality of the food but the care behind every detail. It felt like every plate, every interaction, every moment was made to give guests a memorable experience. This was more than just dinner—it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I feel so lucky to have found this place. If you're ever in Lunenburg, do yourself a favour and go. I can’t wait to come back.

One of my absolute favorite spots to eat in NS. It’s small and doesn’t look like much but this a must for any foodie! The food is locally sourced and their chefs and staff are first rate. It’s an open kitchen and you can see the care and work that goes into preparing each dish (like an episode of the Bear minus the swearing!) My go to dish is the pasta sepia but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My wife and I always share a plate of the arancini from the appie menu. Nothing about this place disappoints!!

We stopped here to eat after visiting and walking around Lunenburg, and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The only small hiccup was that I asked to switch my pasta to linguine and they forgot, but it wasn’t a big deal. I had the burrata and the shrimp aglio e olio (a heads up - it’s very spicy), and for dessert the strawberry tiramisu was the star. I could’ve easily eaten a whole cake of it, it was that good. Would 100% eat here again!

We had lunch at Half Shell after a round of golf and really enjoyed it. The outdoor seating area is fantastic. We ordered the Seafood Tower, which was absolutely amazing, and the fish tacos, which my husband really liked. We’re already looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Great seafood tower, be aware that its all chilled seafood. The proportions of the salad were a great shareable size for 2 and the chowder was delicious. We loved the sauces that came with the tower, the cocktail sauce was so good. The chowder had some dill in it that really rounded out the flavors. Would have loved to of seen wet naps given to clean yourself after dealing with all that seafood.

We stopped by primarily for drinks but I couldn't resist ordering some oysters. Great view from the patio and excellent service. We both had one of the drink specials which was a watermelon Margarita and they were super refreshing and tasty. We would definitely return.

The Half Shell Oysters and Seafood is along the water up from the Bluenose in Lunenberg. It's an open air space with a bar and fresh seafood. The offerings here are simple, fresh and delicious. The servers we had were so wonderful...upbeat and helpful. Loved our time here! 5 x 🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞

Absolutely the best oysters I’ve ever had in my life! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great vibe all around. The staff were in such good spirits, super friendly, and made us feel right at home. We wish we could come here for lunch more often - it’s a true gem in Lunenburg!

I had a great experience at The Half Shell Oysters & Seafood in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The chowder was disappointing, too watery. The mussels, clams, scallops and shrimp were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

Came here for carbonara with scallops, but unfortunately the menu changed. I settled on Linguine & Clams; it was a pesto sauce that overall was okay if you like the taste of clams. As well, tried the Chowder, which was too creamy and pretty expensive for vegetable soup. Also, confused why it’s just chowder and not seafood chowder. The Seafood Risotto was good. But the best food item was the Chocolate Pot. It was very rich, but not too sweet. At least a nice end to a disappointing dinner.

Very cute type of cafe, the sizing of the cups feels smaller than what you would usually see in other cafes though very cute in terms of a place to study. It is a home that got repurposed into a coffee shop so it feels very homey.

Two days in a row having breakfast here, absolutely awesome. The staff are super welcoming and gave us an amazing start of the day. The kids loved the cheddar scones and breakfast galette. The streamers with different flavors make my 6 year super happy. The backyard is beautiful to sit and enjoy the morning coffee, while watching the birds flying around!

A local recommended this cafe and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s in a lovely, cozy house with adorable decor. Snack options were all vegan as far as I could tell. I had an absolutely fantastic cortado, probably the best of my entire trip in NS, and a couple of the small square, chocolate dipped vegan cookies, which were a perfect complement to the coffee. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this beautiful little cafe in Lunenburg.

I was originally a bit skeptical of the pricing on the galette; but upon trying it, see how it's worth it. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was decent; but I probably wouldn't get it again. The star was the VEGAN cinnamon bun. We're NOT vegan; but this might just be the best cinnamon bun we've ever had. I don't know how they got the dough to taste so much like brioche without dairy.

We happened to stumble across the cutest and quirkiest coffee shop in downtown Lunenburg. Lucky us, especially since it was a rainy day... :-D Great coffee, house-made baked goods but the decor and attention to detail is what made this the best experience for us! Local art, upcycled and vintage furniture, and fun decor. <3

No. 9 is a 10 in my books! I adore the backyard garden to sit and sip while being serenaded by the cutest of birds.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The setting was lovely and the service was swift. But there were few menu options and the halibut choice involved sauces. We asked for it simply to be sautéed in butter and lemon. It was just fine, but a rather small portion for CAD $40.

I'm a big fan of the atmosphere at Rime, which is a perfect location for a semi-quiet evening over great food and wine. Often overlooked though, is it's dessert menu, which changes fairly often. The variety of the desserts, both in taste and price, make it a great evening stop for a glass and a treat. Top it off with knowledgeable staff and you are guaranteed to have a positive experience.

What a great restaurant! Booked Rime for a wedding dinner (12 people), Jeff and Erin put together a menu with wine/beer pairings. We arrived a bit early (our bad), the staff were super friendly, got us drinks while we waited and seated us quickly. The food was amazing, drink pairings were great. Service was bang on. We stayed late in the restaurant having a few more drinks because everyone was having such a good time. Next trip to Lunenburg we will go to Rime again, I want to try the rest of the menu. This place gets the gold star!

This is a fabulous restaurant! I ate here in June and the scallops were cooked perfectly (not overcooked as is so common). This time, I tried the fish cakes and they were also delicious: packed with fish (not potatoes and veg), elegantly presented and accompanied by lovely greens and lobster. The home made smore was a treat and the truffles were the perfect, tiny sweet with which to end a lovely meal. In the same price range as all the tourist traps along the water, this place delivers food fit for foodies. And to top it off, they readily, easily and cheerfully accommodated my picky 10 year old. Will be back to this gem at the next opportunity.

Very expensive and very long wait. The mussels were bland and half were unopened. My pasta was $28 before they asked if I wanted to add chicken. They used IQF pumped chicken and it was horrible. I wanted to complain but didn't know where to start. My whole family was shocked at the poor quality. The waitress was friendly, but dinner with wine was still over $400. Awful awful awful.

Excellent dining experience and if I could give it a higher rating, I would. Service was efficient, knowledgeable and understanding. We started with calamari and tuna tar tar. It was very fresh and light, poising us for a delicious main course of Halibut and Beef tenderloin, split between the two of us. These were cooked to perfection. Dessert topped it all off, as we had the Rhubarb cannoli. So tasty. Rime proved yet again to be the top dining experience in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia!

Overpriced, overrated. My fiancee found a hair in her food on the first bite, but that wasn't the worst of it. 30 dollars for a fried chicken with mash potatoes, and seasonal veg. This included 2 pieces of brocolli, 2 of the smallest beets I have ever seen (about the size of a nickle) and 2 dirty carrots with the root and green still attached, as for the potatoes, there was less than a spoonfull. The chicken breading was so sweet it was almost inedible, not to mention it didn't even stay on the soggy chicken. The sever was so awkward. If I could I would rate a half star.

Another wonderful time with a warm atmosphere. Our server, Charlotte, was always quick to ensure that we had the best experience while eating. With delicious food and beverages, this place never disappoints. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Came in for a quick supper and spent all evening here! Food is amazing, the staff even awesomer ( Adele you’re a gem!) And then came in the two member band to sing us into a party atmosphere!!! Highly recommend!!

I visited with a group of friends for lunch, and we shared the large Grilled Pineapple + Pork Belly Detroit-style pizza. It was fantastic! The crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and the size was more than enough to feed three people. Just a heads-up: the pizzas are made fresh and can take up to 30 minutes to come out, but it’s absolutely worth the wait.

We enjoyed a lovely view while dining at Shipwright Brewery in Lunenburg. We ordered the pizza with vegan cheese, pineapple, and garlic, it was delicious, though the garlic was a bit strong. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with a drink while taking in the waterfront scenery.

Nice little restaurant with a great view. Lots of great menu options. The Lobster Pizza was really good, I loved the crust and there was plenty of lobster on it. Portion size was huge. The Lobster Poutine wasn't great though. It was way too much cheese (didn't know there was such a thing either) and the lobster was a bit chewy.

Went to this place for dinner in 25th June 25, the service was so nice. The waiter with tattoos were supportive and super friendly. Ordered lobster poutine, wasn't the best one out there but still can fill the void. The lobster itself was good, but not the fries, it was kind of wet(??) and overall just not as good. Kinda need more seasoning since I need to add extra extra salt and pepper to taste it well. It was bitter, I was expecting it to be sweet but I realized they added white wine and not normal gravy... 🙏. Service good, food normal, 8/10.

We went to this restaurant yesterday. The view is amazing if you’re sitting close to the window — but anyway… The food was amazing. Every dish we chose was absolutely perfect. But why was the waiting time so long? I didn’t get it. Nobody came to check on what was going on. My feelings are a little bit mixed

This is such a great place! Delicious tapas menu, great selection of drinks and the atmosphere was incredible. The bar and food reminded me of being in Spain and all the colourful tiles made me think of Portugal. I highly recommend stopping in.

Great atmosphere. The drink of the day was amazing and so was the sangria. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Cute and quaint place! There isn't a lot of seating but it also isn't a very busy area. The staff was great! We only had drinks there so I can't speak about the food. Drinks were good quality and interesting combinations that actually worked! Will definitely go again!

Such a great spot for tapas, in fact so many tapas that we had our dinner there! The atmosphere if superb and the service impeccable. We loved the sardines stuffed olives and all of the other dishes too! The jamon iberico was absolutely delicious. Great cocktails too.

Went in for a drink and small plate before heading to our next place. The white sangria was delicious and our server drew was great with service.

Stopped in for a pint while touring Lunenburg. Perfect spot for a cold local beer and a view of the town from across the water. There are food options as well and the washrooms are clean. Lots of tables inside and out! Highly recommend that you check it out!

Very cool place! Great selection of beer and ciders. Lots of seating with great views. We did a flight so we could try a few options and then bought some cans of our favs to go. Next time we're in town we be back for sure.

Stayed in our camper at Lightship Brewery in their parking lot with my Harvest Hosts membership. They provide a spot right up close to the entrance to the deck. The food was great (the fries a bit salty for my taste) and the selection of drinks excellent. We ordered a flyte of the local brews and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and fine flavor. The outdoor patio veiw is 1 in a million!! You can sit in comfy Adirondack chairs right at the waters edge and sip your favorite beer, wine, cider while watching the sailboats in the bay. You also get to see Lunenburgs colorful houses in full display right from your chair 👍👍 If your lucky you will also see the Bluenose II and even do a tour! We ordered 3 six packs of the local beer to go. We will DEFINITELY be back to Lightship Brewery on our next trip to the East Coast. Anita.

Lightship Brewery was the perfect first stop on our visit. The outdoor seating offers a beautiful view overlooking the downtown area—such a great way to take in the charm of the town while you relax. The food was solid (the dry fries and Poutine were so good!), and the cider was crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. Friendly service, good vibes, and a laid-back atmosphere made it a place I’d happily return to. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a casual spot with local flavor and a view!

Great spot hidden off the main street, with the perfect view. We were disappointed their pizza oven was down..but a lobster sandwich with hand cut fries was a good second alternative.

The beer was alright. I have had better. The sad part was it was packed in there and it was raining heavily. Couldn’t order any food as it’s located on a shack outside. Pretty unique atmosphere in there.

Fastastic waterfront location with very good beer and a very nice staff. Imcredibly relaxing atmosphere. We really loved it here!! There' s also a food cabin, where you can buy pizza and poutine.
