I liked their ambience and vibes! Actually I don't drink, the purpose I had to be there was that the drinkers needed a driver to send them back to the hotel. I was thrilled to be there! People came in and out holding various beers, cheered for each other, talked loud and laughed like crazy, I could feel the happiness with them. It was a worry free zone, I think we all needed this moment!

Love the vibes of this place and the beer. IPA was strong and worth every drop. I love the gondola. It was a great experience. It is a little wobby when you get on it, so don't spill your drink. Great place to hang out and get a good feel of the nice and cold weather of Leavenworth with their heater and fireplaces in the outdoor setting.

We wanted some takeaway beer - something quite specific. Friendly guy behind the bar gave us some tasters. We chatted about beers he liked what we were after - we went away happy. Nice place, nice beer, nice service. Chill vibes even though it was Labor Day and the town was really busy. Enjoying my beer on my road trip.

Good beers but the food is below average. The grilled cheese had such a funky taste to it - definitely not quality cheese at all. The tomato bisque was nice but too creamy for my taste. The pretzel is honestly the only food that seems worth it here! Beers were nice too.

Was recommended by a friend. Had a blackberry cider- delicious!! Was a beautiful, sat outside. Great views of the mountains. This place rocks! Staff were excellent. Got some of their own beer to go from their fridges. YAY!

Icicle Brewing Company truly has some of the best beer I’ve ever tried! Every brew was flavorful and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, the staff were friendly, and it’s the perfect stop to unwind after exploring Leavenworth. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting, you won’t be disappointed!

We came here for lunch in a Saturday afternoon in August while vacationing in the area. The line was long but not as long as we saw it on Friday night. Total time once we got in the line until we started to eat was about 25 minutes. There was an order taker towards the front of the line who was writing orders on a little checklist menu card that you could hand in to place your order at the cashier. I think that saved some time. I had the chicken sausage. We shared some potato salad and got two pretzels to go. The sausage was good. The potato salad was ok. The pretzels were a little tough when we ate them later that evening. I’m sure they would have been better when they were fresh. There is a condiment area with toppings. This was a little congested with people moving back and forth between the two sides instead of being in a line. I prefer order instead of chaos so that was a little obnoxious for me but I managed. There was plenty of seating in the beergarden, out front where the line forms and upstairs. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were good. The atmosphere was casual and easygoing.

Delicious Bratwurst variations and many sauces to go along with it. The huge pot of Sauerkraut 😋 is always full and fresh. Prices are definitely reasonable. And, can't forget their tasty warm Pretzels 😋

We arrived from the back alley, but the main entrance is at the front of the main street. The line was a little long, but quick. There's a decent amount of seating with mist spraying on the hot day we were there. We ordered the big Bob bratwurst and Helga's giant kelbassi. Since the kelbassi was so thick, the bun split open, and my toppings were coming out. It's probably easier to eat the kelbassi with utensils. Other than that, the kelbassi is one I'd eat again. I didn't like the flavor of the bratwurst, but I usually don't prefer bratwurst anyway. It was nice that there's 2 stations with the different mustards to choose from. I tried multiple on mine, but it was hard to tell what was what once I put them on, and I could only really taste one kind.

Nice place with great food. We got some bratwurst with buns and beer. This was mid week so not much queue which was the first for me in the last couple of years . Service was super fast and the food was very good. I got the hans jalapeno n cheddar which I would recommend.

I love this place. Great sausage and beer. Condiment selection is on point. I had the Oma Weiswurst with kraut, onion and champagne and garlic aioli mustards. They are always busy but the line goes quickly. Heated out door area is nice.

I walked to the end of Front Street to have lunch at this popular beer garden and found a long line of people. I reviewed the menu and ordered a Big Bob Bratwurst and a iced tea after a ten minute wait. The menu has charbroiled Bavarian Sausages including organic chicken, kelbassa, vegan and vegetarian options. I received my order in about fifteen minutes with no problems. I walked over the large condiment bar and put some mustard and sauerkraut on my Bratwurst. The Big Bob Bratwurst had had a nice mild taste to it and the bun was toasted. You will also a large selection of local beer on tap from the Icicle Brewery and imported German beer with wine and non-alocholic options. Located on Front Street near the Danish Bakery and Seventh Street. A nice place to stop for a German sausage or pretzel with frendly service, a number of beer options, and a fun German beer garden vibe.

Charming beer garden in the heart of Leavenworth, this stop has the best brauts we have ever had. Uncomplicated menu with many choices of fixings. Good beer selection. Great family atmosphere with large outside seating area. And beautiful natural surroundings add to the atmosphere.

Our waitress was friendly and answered our questions about the menu. The food was delicious, even the kids ate everything without being told to. There is a nice outside dining area. The chips are made in house and were crispy and yummy.

The staff is so kinda and fun! We come 3 times a year for girls trips and this is the first time we have been to South! Amazing! We love it and we will absolutely be back! Tacos and cocktails are top notch! Thank you Frida for making it a fun night!

Oh my gosh. First , I have to say that I love Americanized mexican food. I love ground beef in my tacos, enchiladas, etc. Here in Astoria, I never eat Mexican food because I can't get ground beef. I've tried the restaurants here and just don't like them. We went to South because my husband almost never gets to have Mexican on vacation, so I thought I'd suck it up and suffer through it. The food was AMAZING. I can't stress strongly enough how good it is. I had the chicken poblano enchiladas, and they were fabulous, but my husband got the carnitas tacos, and they were to die for. I seriously can't express how delicious they are. Since we live so far away, I'm seriously going to need the recipe for the pork and the red cabbage slaw that accompanied the tacos. I even loved the black beans, which I'm normally not a fan of. Our server, I think it was Rebecca, (sorry if that's wrong), was wonderful, attentive, and gave great recommendations even though she had her hands full and was basically a one woman show while we were there.

Large party of 12 on a busy day. We put our names on the list and came back an hour later when we were notified our table was ready. Had a bit of a scare since we were told we had 10 min after the text to get there but felt like I got a cancellation as we walked in the door but were seated anyway. Closer to 7:30 so the place was thinning out. Had a spicy margarita that left my lips tingling Food was consistently very good. Not much else to add to that 😀

Very good Mexican food. I had the steak tacos. 5 stars. My gf had the tortilla soup. She loved it. Much chicken and very flavourful. You'd figure these would be the stars of the show, but.... they shared top billing with the large basket of chips and salsa. 4 salsas! Red, green, pablano and black bean. Mix of freshly cooked chips if you like, corn and flour. You can choose 🙂 Good place. Recommend! 🌮🥵🌶️🤠

I love this place. Not a single time I went to Leavenworth and I didn’t have food here. Spicy chicken tacos are my personal favorite but rest if the options are great too. Lovely ambience and great fast service. My all time favorite!! Highly recommend!!!! 🙌

The wet carnitas burrito with green sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Service was friendly, the margarita was solid, and the outdoor seating with lights made for a cozy vibe. Highly recommend

Great Quick Lunch Spot in Leavenworth! We visited Leavenworth Sausage Garten during the summer and arrived right around lunchtime. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the wait time was much shorter even during the lunch rush. The setup is fast-casual: you order and pay upfront, which makes the process quick and easy. The bratwurst was absolutely amazing juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. They offer a self-serve station with plenty of condiments, toppings, and even water, which is super convenient. There’s also shaded seating and misting fans to help beat the summer heat, which was a nice touch. If you're in a hurry or just want something delicious without the long wait, this is definitely the place to go!

You're going to see more sausage than you know what to do with in Leavenworth. Rather than ordering a platter of them at a fancy restaurant, I recommend stopping here for lunch, an appetizer, or drinks & sausage snack. Fun ambiance. Service was very friendly! $10, these were probably the best homemade sausages to be had in town. Have fun at the topping bar!

Love bratwurst sausages! A cousin of mine lives locally and recommended another sausage place nearby. I’m so glad we came here. The line moved faster than the other place, customer service was excellent and most importantly, the bratwurst, mashed potatoes and beer were delicious. Looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Ok we were there early on a chilly Thursday morning so I can't speak to wait time. But as a former Wisconsin resident I can speak to flavor. It was like a taste of home. We like dark beer. Bartender was knowledgeable and helped us pick 2 perfect for our taste. Bratwurst was excellent. And most impressive to me the sauerkraut. Really hard to find that right balance af tartness. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the overall experience

Wonderful place to have a pretzel with warm cheese! The variety of mustards was out of this world! There was also sauerkraut, Pepperoncini’s, onions, jalapeños and cheese to add to your brat or pretzel. The staff were friendly and seemed like they were all having a good time working together. My pretzel was delivered hot right to my table. The German potato salad was so good too! Amazing outdoor sitting with misters so you feel refreshed in the heat. Great place to see the Main Street in town too.

Nice shady area to have sausages and beer. They have all the condiments you could need for your sausage. The sausages were all gluten free if you skipped the bun.

Excellent choice on a date night. This place check all the boxes from their decor, location, service and delicious food. Presentation on the food is great, the flavors on point and their service outstanding. I took pictures of the food and if it was emptier I could have taken pictures of the inside of the restaurant but it was busy and I see why people come here. An absolute pleasure and the quality of the food was top notch couldn't ask for anything better on this evening. Reservations are highly recommended you will be glad you did as the place is small but packs a punch with their service, food, wine selection and desserts. Overall a great experience.

We visit Leavenworth a couple of times a year and had yet to discover a restaurant that truly delighted our taste buds. However, Larch has emerged as a fantastic new discovery! The food was bursting with flavor and showcased innovative culinary creations. The staff was friendly, professional, and the atmosphere was charming and rustic. The Roasted mushrooms are a must-try! I’m craving them right now. My husband particularly enjoyed the Arancini. He had the tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection—a rare feat unless you’re dining at an upscale steakhouse. I opted for the linguini, which was bursting with flavor. My scallops were cooked to perfection as well. The service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, provided great recommendations, and was incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Dinner was phenomenal, very flavorful 😋 with a nice twist of mixed flavors. Bartender Derik, as I sat at the bar, makes great cocktails & personable. The Octopus was so tender, loved the dressing also & Mezza luna pasta, stuffed with crab and shrimp, OMG 👌delicious. The fact that the pastas made there makes it worth the price. Also Flourless Torte. The appetizer & entrée would have been nicer to be served a little longer gap between meals, for me. Yes, the cocktails were rather pricey, but the wine was average price. Would love to try a few other entrées.

I honestly think this was the best food I've ever had. Came here for my birthday and ordered a lot so I could try it all: roasted mushrooms, pork belly, agnolotti del plin, pumpkin cheesecake, and tiramisu. It was all incredible and I'm still thinking about it (I went about 3 weeks ago). The pork belly was so crispy and delicious paired with the coconut rice, I wish I could have it shipped to me back home. Very fresh, original dishes, and the service was great too. I made a reservation online beforehand as they are very popular and only open for a few hours each night. I would come back to Leavenworth just to eat here again.

Larch offers a thoughtful dining experience, highlighted by hearty homemade pasta that had a pleasant, toothsome bite. (While there may be some debate about the ideal density of pasta, I personally appreciated the satisfying heft it gave the dishes.) The sauces — both on the pasta and the chicken — were rich and deeply developed, showing impressive complexity. The chicken itself was moist, with a beautifully crisped skin that added a perfect textural contrast. The seasonal vegetable sides were a mixed experience — vibrant in color but, particularly in the case of the carrots, a bit underdone. The Caesar salad was spot on: well dressed without being soggy, and full of crisp, savory flavor. The focaccia deserves special mention, lightly toasted on the outside and infused with buttery olive oil and rosemary — the kind of simple, excellent bread you could easily make a meal of on its own. The cocktails were another high point, creatively composed and well balanced. Service was attentive without being invasive, striking the right balance between hospitality and giving guests space to relax. The restaurant’s rustic ambiance complemented the food well, though slightly warmer or more focused table lighting could add a bit more emotion and intimacy to the room. Overall, Larch is a restaurant that shows real care in its execution, with only a few minor adjustments needed to take the experience from very good to truly outstanding.

My partner and I had such an amazing experience here at Larch. From the amazing service and atmosphere, all the way through the delicious menu. The food was all very well prepared and seasoned. The cocktails were all very well done and fun. This is a must visit. We will return on our future leavenworth adventures.

Wonderful pasta. Very quick service (almost too quick). Nice ambiance. Cocktails were on the pricey side ($18) but the food seemed reasonably priced to me.

We stopped by The Gingerbread Factory and really enjoyed it. The place looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale, and the gingerbread cookie we tried was soft, tasty, and super cute. It’s the kind of treat that’s fun for both kids and adults. Definitely worth a quick stop if you’re walking around town!

Truthfully I’m not a big gingerbread fan but this espresso frosted chocolate cookie was amazing! It was a bit dark in the shop but the staff were friendly and they had tap water available, which was really appreciated on a hot day. Definitely stop in.

The Gingerbread Factory is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. Their soft, perfectly spiced gingersnaps are delicious, and the friendly staff make every visit a treat. A must-stop in Leavenworth! My wife and children love this place—I highly recommend it!

A wonderful little shop specializing in cookies and baked treats. The store is adorable and atmospheric, inviting you to order and enjoy. The gingersnaps were a pleasant memory of Christmas time, even in the dead of August. Every bite left me wanting more.

Super cute bakery with seating. The entrance is magical with a fairy tree and gingerbread house. Lots of delicious treats to pick from! Very few gluten free options though.

Go early so you don’t have to wait in line. It’s a neat little spot, but there’s no reason to stand in the monstrous lines that exist during the Christmas season. The cookies were very good and worth a visit. The atmosphere is also enjoyable with cozy lighting and an agreeable gingerbread smell that sort of soaks into your clothes if you’re there for more than a few minutes. The people working the counter were also cheery, so that was a nice plus. All in all, it’s a spot that ought to be on your list—but don’t prioritize it to the point you’re waiting with the masses in the line that stretched to the end of the street! Would visit again.

Friendly staff. Got their yodelin soup and clams. Clams were good with a side of garlic bread. Yodelin soup had light citrusy flavor. Good if you’re in the mood for something warm and brothy. Menu is $$$.

So good we came twice during our time in Washington. The Salmon rice bowl was fresh and vibrant, and the fish sandwich was killer. Nice healthy place to eat after a day of hiking. Refreshing and fairly priced. Outdoor seating is peaceful.

Phenomenal experience at this location. We have the broth dishes a try and were pleasantly surprised by their flavors. Absolutely delicious and lightning the stomach. They offer many dishes but these broth are so unique you have to try them. Overall a great experience and will recommend friends and family to visit this place.

Nice meal. Lots of fresh, fragrant vegetables in bold flavoured broth. My husband had udon noodles, and I opted for no noodles but added wild shrimp. We had a side of garlic sourdough bread. Drinks were less impressive - my mojito didn’t quite have the balance of flavours I was hoping for. We sat outside with a gorgeous mountain view (I had a few little bug bites). Prompt, efficient service, delicious food, and guilt free.

Great spot for a comforting meal! The soup was fresh and flavorful, and the garlic bread is an absolute must — packed with fresh herbs and real garlic that makes it unforgettable.

We stopped by for a bite after off-road biking, Memorial weekend, and Saturday afternoon. We were a bit early for dinner time so that we were able to get a table without waiting. We sat outside the table by their entrance/ stairs from the main street. We had Salmon bowl Bánh mì, little pricy. Kinda expected high price because Levonworh. The bowl has spicy peanut sause. It was tasty, little spicy but not too much. There are slightly big portions. I was stuffed even if starving from bike ride. Outside tables are nice during warm weather, you can see all the mountains from the tables. We wish they had a small plate or share- able plates.

The salmon bowl was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the outdoor seating by the river made it even better. Great food, great vibes, and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. The dining room is lovely with great views. The food was amazing. My cannelloni was expertly prepared, stiking a perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and sausage; the sausage, in particular, was delectable. I wish I had some right now. My husband tried osso bucco for the first time and enjoyed it tremendously. He raved about it for an hour after dinner. Unfortunately, we were too full to have dessert. They need to open a restaurant in Astoria. 😃

The food is really good, I ordered the Pork Belly as an appetizer and the Chicken and Mushroom Alfredo Fettuccine as my entree. The two details I will point out is related to service, I noticed other tables with bread and I thought of asking, and I noticed other tables being offered Parmesan cheese when their entree dishes were served and I was not asked, so the service is not cohesive some tables/servers are served better than others. Although my service was polite and attentive.

On Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, my family of four ate dinner at Visconti’s. We didn’t know exactly what to expect considering it was an Italian restaurant in the middle of a German-cuisine hot bed but it ended up being the best dining experience during our Leavenworth vacation. I ordered the cotto al forno and paid $6 extra for a cup of Tuscan bean soup. The soup was good and my entrée was excellent. If you like delicious, baked cheese this place is for you! The cheese covered yummy pasta, Italian sausage, veggies, and more cheese. I had never quite had a dish like this before and it was superb! My wife opted for the pollo alla parmigiana (chicken parmesan) which didn’t disappoint while my kids (8 y.o. and 5 y.o.) ordered the pepperoni pizza and lasagna, respectively. Yep, I tried everyone’s dishes and they were all so delightful. Okay, for the intangibles: You do get complimentary bread and thankfully the restaurant wasn’t stingy about it. They refilled our basket and filled it to the top when we got low. The restaurant space itself is charming. We were seated at a table that overlooked Main Street as we had so much fun people-watching and identifying the dog breeds that folks were walking with. Our server, Randy, was awesome. He was personable, very helpful, and accurate. He definitely added to our experience. When we return to Leavenworth again one day, we won’t hesitate to visit Visconti’s when we need a break from the brats and pretzels. 🍝

Loved this hidden Italian gem in the Bavarian getaway. The gnocchi, shaved brussel sprouts and tagliatelle con vodka we're superb! Our server Julie took great care of us and added to the incredible experience. I highly recommend Visconti's for anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal with amazing flavors and menu options.

This bar is such an exquisite experience! Sierra made me a pink peppercorn martini. I had asked for her favorite drink. I highly recommend the drink and mostly the bartender. I will definitely be coming back.

The food was unbelievably delicious. The ribeye is perfect, as was the halibut. Everything was what you'd want in a fine dining establishment. Our waiter Jonathan brought everything out perfectly timed, was very attentive, there when you wanted and never bothersome like some other places. I won't say it was cheap, but was certainly worth every cent.

This was a quick stop for a beer and something to share. The food was average. We got the southwest chicken wrap and it was mostly lettuce with not much of anything else. I had two hairs of some kind on my plate (1 as pictured) so that was super unappealing. The tots were decent and the beer (Scrappy Doo) was solid though and our server was super nice

Love this "adult only" hangout. Bar service is great...have lots of liquor choices. Food was really good too! Not too pricey in comparison to others. We visited every day we were in Leavenworth!

We went to Loft for some dinner and drinks on a Friday evening. It was slow in the beginning around 8:30 but it picks up around 10. The music is good, food is fresh, fries were amazing and beer is goooooood.

Food was great. Service was friendly and a good location. I would only suggest that they be a little bit more organized with the check-in at the front desk and also set the ambiance a little better with good music.

I and my 3 friends had a great experience here last week. Edwin’s service was so very good. He was quite knowledgeable about the menu and specific gluten free options. The food came very quickly which was great because we were starving. I had a southwest chicken salad and the girls had sandwiches all of which were excellent.

The Loft Bar and Grill is a cool spot in Leavenworth. We only had drinks, but they were great! The waitress was super friendly. Just a heads up, it's upstairs, so you'll need to climb a flight of stairs. Overall, we had a good time!

A very relaxed bar in the middle of Leavenworth. It can be labeled as a sports bar when games are on but I mostly know it as one of the few late night spots in town for food and drinks. Service is excellent. The food is tasty and priced fairly. Overall, a solid bar worth checking out.

This is my second time here! Last time I had the Margarita pizza and Caprese salad that were amazing-I actually went there for the Caprese salad this time until I saw the apple salad on the menu and decided to try it Ana’s was NOT disappointed!! I had the Hazy IPA which I highly recommend!! The bartender and service was EXCELLENT!! Last time o was here I had my dog, and they were very dig-friendly!!

This place was awesome! We had a couple beers and a pepperoni with olive and fresh pineapple pizza. Omg. This was the best pizza we've ever had. Perfectly cooked and the beers were great. Super friendly staff and the place smelled so good before we even walked in. 10/10 we will be back!

This establishment makes some darn good pizza. Ordered the pepperoni, the Karl, and a Captain Planet pizza. I really do believe the staff and owners try out these topping combinations and decide for themselves what works or doesn’t, along with customer feedback of course. Well done. What I will say, the pizza was salty! All of them, unfortunately. I’m not sure if this a new phenomenon, but it was definitely something I noticed. Please go to this place, it really is amazing.

My wife and I got the Mr. Bacon pizza which was delicious with plenty of bacon. The bacon itself was just a bit saltier than what we're used to. I got the Hasta La Vista pilsner which was hoppier than I prefer but not terrible. My wife got the Mango Tango wheat which is very good for the hot days we're experiencing. Service was solid and the atmosphere is pleasant. Overall worth going back to.

We had lunch here and it was so good! We had the Caesar salad and the Big Karl pizza. Our friends had the Mr Bacon pizza. The salad and homemade dressing was fresh and delicious. The pizza was perfect, with just a hint of spice and amazing fennel sausage. We also had an amazing brownie with artisan vanilla ice cream. Beer was so good that we bought some to take home. Our server, Summer, was an absolute doll. Sweet, funny, helpful and amazing! We will definitely be back.

I've given this brewery my business several times in a row now and I always enjoy the experience. If you want some giggles or for your brew to be strong, this is the place and you will not regret the hop to give them your business. The pizza is pretty limp and salty, but the dough barely scratches the surface for how delicious the pizza is. This brewery is on tap for one of my favorite places to visit.

It's a must-visit every time we're in town, whether for a hike or bringing guests to this lovely place. The pizzas here are among the best in Washington. While the front desk staff could be a bit friendlier or perhaps need some retraining, they are still very nice to us. We were originally rejected from getting new seats simply we already sat down at a different outside table in the sun without umbrella on a 94+ degree heat. We asked for an umbrella but it wasn't an option at the time despite seeing an extra umbrella on our left behind laying behind a fence. However, Chris, the manager, and our server were exceptionally kind and nice. After a long day of traveling with four kids, they kindly accommodated us with new seating inside, away from the harsh sun. I've visited here so many times over years and had never encountered bad service. This place is simply a gem in the area. Be sure to try their fresh beers. I love the vibe here. I had the Bison burger, it was pretty good. Not mad at it at all. The fries were great, but they were a pricey add on. That being said a small fries fed two so honestly it's really fair, go for the add on! My wife liked her burger with Canadian bacon. The kid's menu burger came dry and plain, nothing on it. I'd like to add the kids menu meal included an awesome sized portion of these amazing fries! They had this crazy good dill mustard at the table, you have to try it.

Very cute german pub with delicious food. Been going to leavenworth with my german family members for years and this is the first time I've been to Gustavs. I had a wonderful greeting and my server was very attentive and polite. Me and my husband loved the food and we're full for the rest of the day after 😆

Gustav's is one of the first spots you’ll notice as you enter the market area in Leavenworth, and we were excited to try their vegetarian options. We were particularly interested in the Garden Ortega Burger, and ended up ordering three of them. The burger comes with a black bean patty (nicely grilled), Monterey Jack cheese (I had it for the first time—surprisingly creamy and almost potato-like in texture!), fresh veggies, and a side of salsa. Since we're vegetarians, we skipped the mayo as it contains egg, and also requested to switch the brioche bun (which also has egg) for a baguette instead. They were happy to accommodate all our customizations. We also chose to replace the fries, which are fried in the same oil as non-vegetarian items, with one Strawberry Spinach Salad to share. I was initially a bit skeptical, but the sweet strawberries paired with the fresh spinach made for a surprisingly delicious and refreshing combo! We also considered the tomato soup but skipped it upon learning it contains chicken broth—glad they were transparent about ingredients. We arrived around 8:15 PM, just as the restaurant was preparing to close, but the staff—especially our server (we think his name was Jose, based on the receipt)—was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He brought out the full ingredient list, patiently addressed all our questions, and helped us build a meal that fit our dietary needs. Even though it was close to closing time, they didn’t rush us and allowed us to sit and enjoy our meal comfortably. Overall, a great experience for vegetarians if you're mindful and ask the right questions. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the food was satisfying and fresh. Would definitely recommend Gustav's to fellow vegetarians visiting Leavenworth!

Great place! I ordered the bison burger with a small order of fries and a lavender cider. Perfect dinner for a hot evening! The staff was amazing, friendly and very observant. Our order was received in good time, served hot and so delicious. Will definitely come eat here again on my next trip to Leavenworth.

I had such a delightful experience dining at Gustav's with my friends on their roof terrace. Such a gorgeous view and lovely setting with flower boxes and tables with umbrellas. There is even a mister from above for hot days. I have celiac so was a bit nervous eating somewhere new. Our waitress Crystal went above and beyond to make sure I had a good, safe as can be meal. There are few gluten free options and if I remember right they are also vegetarian options. I'm pretty use to a small number of dishes to choose from, so it didn't bother me. My vegetarian braut sandwich was super yummy, though I'd ditch the gluten-free bun next time as it fell apart pretty quickly as they often do. I also want to compliment Angel for excellent service as well!

We took our food to go. The brats and kraut were disappointing. It looks better than the taste. No love in this food. My kids burgers were cold and fries were soggy. We paid $60 and didn't eat half of it.

We are trying to see as much of Washington as we can before our cruise. We drove out to Leavenworth for part of a day. We decided to try Gutav's. It was wonderful!! We thought they might have more Bavarian style foods available, but what we got was 10 out of 10. We got the pretzel sticks with cheese sauce and the schnitzel burger. Crystal was our server and did a phenomenal job.

The food is rich and definitely not for those on a diet. Lots of meat, cheese and carbs. If you like burgers, brauts and breads, this is your place. The service was a bit underwhelming though the staff was nice. It was a bit drab and dirty inside but it’s a nice location, has lots of space and a nice view of downtown.

I walked from my hotel to have dinner at this German beer hall and found average food. I reviewed the menu and ordered pork schnitzel with mashed potatoes, red cabbage and no gravy. I listened to the live music and received my order in about twenty minutes without any problems. The menu includes pretzels, currywurst, burgers, lamb doner, sandwiches, and house made sausage (wurst) The schnitzel was was a little dry and the breading was bland. The mashed potatoes were creamy with good taste. The red cabbage was not overcooked and had good taste. You will find a large selection of beer, craft cocktails, wine, and a large outdoor patio. Located on Front Street with the entrance on the highway -US 2 in Leavenworth. One of those places that was a little disappointing with the food, but it has a lively beer hall vibe with friendly service, a menu with a number of options, and live local music on Thursdays.

The staff were super friendly and the outdoor seating was very nice with the warm fires. The food was decent, but a bit pricey for what it was. The gluwein was a bit on the savory side.

Rhein Haus is a chain restaurant, so I have had their food before. Food is not the best, most authentic, or that great… But the atmosphere is pretty fun. I would stick to something basic like a pretzel (get the giant pretzel!) We also sampled the fish and chips, bacon, burger, and the falafel. All of them were pretty basic. before ordering I had someone at the table next to us lean over and tell us not to get anything authentic. I don’t know what she ordered, but I chose to trust her and her German accent. We were seated in the outdoor area where we soaked up amazing views. We ordered at the bar. Service was minimal. But I did ask a few (different) workers for favors: extra sauce, napkins. It was no problem. Employees were helpful + friendly. We will definitely be back. We stopped on our way home for a pretzel to go. 😎 We got another big pretzel + the cinnamon caramel pretzel, which was again, basic but satisfying!

We really enjoyed our german brauts and soft pretzels! There was a line. But it went fast! Worth the wait! I do wish the had pickles.. but that's just me..

The service was great. Very fast and friendly! The atmosphere is hard to beat as well. But the food… oof. We have had Schnitzel at 5 different places during our stay at Leavenworth and this was by and far the absolute worst. Dry, stale, flavorless, and presumably reheated rather than made fresh (because it came out in 5 min). It resembled an XL chicken nugget you cook from freezer to oven for your kids, and had very little “jager gravy” that we paid $3 extra for. Can’t speak too much else on the menu, but we will be back again I imagine. If you’re looking for good, fresh, authentic German food.. look elsewhere! (Like, anywhere else in that Bavarian district)

Truthfully the best bratwurst I’ve ever had! My family and I are annual visitors to Leavenworth and for some reason we have never thought to dine here, until today. We went during lunch hours and though there was a bit of a line, we got sat rather quickly. I chose the classic plate with the habanero cheddarwurst and it was SO good. My husband and kids also thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the service was friendly! This restaurant will definitely be a staple for our future visits!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO: My boyfriend and I dined here today. 1/6/25 for dinner. Upon walking in, we loved the ambiance and were even seated early from our scheduled reservation. After being seated we were met with our server, Christopher. His attitude towards us was pretentious, maybe because of our age, almost as if he was talking down to us. However, to his credit he did make reasonable drinks. My boyfriend and I both ordered oysters to start, two ribeye steaks, mashed potatoes and rice. The oysters were served with Ritz Crackers and tasted as if they came out of a can. The steaks were extremely tough, flavorless, and you could get better garnishes from Applebees. The rice looked and tasted as if it was a bag of Rice-a-Roni. The potatoes, although good, I can’t for sure say were fresh considering the rest. On an additional note, although I can see what they may be trying to achieve, the board they have of their steak availability, made the place feel overly pretentious and a like a deli rather than an authentic steakhouse. If you’ve read this far, we just want to warn people that your dollar will go further elsewhere, ESPECIALLY considering the prices here. I hope the owner and staff takes this into consideration as this is one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we’ve had.

Great dining experience at Old World Chophouse. The fennel salad was fresh and well balanced. The dried age steak was juicy and tender. Lots of flavor in very dish.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was simply divine — the steaks were out of this world, and the scallops were insanely delicious. I was truly impressed with every bite! 🍽️✨ We’ll definitely be coming back. It was an accidental find down an old looking walkway. What a treat to connect with Emma, who seated me at the very cozy bar. She subtly preceded to make the visit go effortlessly from the first beer she brought to the suggestion of scallops to start. They were very good. Then a perfectly cooked steak and a well timed offer of a carmel-chocolate desert too finish with. Matt took very good care of my bar needs. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

This place is cute and small inside but man does the food pack the most flavorful filling surprise of all time. I didn’t take many pictures because I just wasn’t thinking my brain was cold and I was ready to eat. Small servings but very filling. We went at lunch so we ate off the lunch menu. What’s not pictured but was ordered and amazingly delicious the Porkbelly and the Mushroom & Farrow. What is pictured is the Bread&butter, the Bread&dipping oil and the Old World Stew. I don’t eat pork but was told it was absolutely delicious and it didn’t last long. The Mushroom & Farrow was outstanding but my favorite was the Old World Stew. It had carrots potatoes and a cut of tender beef with mashed potatoes on top. If I could have a bowl right now I would. I thought about that soup till the next day. Please visit this place. You will not be let down. Just make sure you go to the website and look at the menu so you show up at the right time. Plan accordingly too! This was my favorite place in Leavenworth.

They seated us even though we didn't have reservations. The food was excellent and attentive service. My NY steak was perfectly broiled and very tasty. We also ordered the beef stew which was delicious but rich. Other sides were candied carrots, Caesar salad (which was different) but good. I would eat here again.

Incredible! This has got to be one of the best restaurants in the state. Food, cocktails, ambiance, music, and service were outstanding. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and one of the best we’ve ever had. Crab Louie was so fresh. The black garlic butter on the potatoes was delicious. And the cocktails were crafted to perfection. Do not miss this when in Leavenworth.

The other reviews said dive bar but also family friendly. While it was ok for a family, this is definitely dive bar territory. You'll see pool, drunk 40-somethings, etc. it didn't feel like Leavenworth... so I liked it! But maybe not where I'll go again with you get kids. Food was a mixed bag in our group. Some thought it was good but others were less impressed with their dishes. We got out for way less money than we would spend in other restaurants though so I was happy.

Seems like nice place though kinda tucked away. Found it when we were walking up from the river. Food pretty standard bar food. Had the fish and chips myself which was better than most places. Service was a little lacking but I think they were a little distracted. Had to go in twice to get drink refills and again to get a box. Inside looks pretty neat as far as bar appeal.

Greatest bar in Leavenworth!! We went on Saturday night and the DJ was amazing! They played great dancing music like 2000s pop and one direction. Our group of girls had a great time. The bartender Sarah is the best! She makes a delicious mojito with fresh mint. Drinks are reasonably priced. This is a great place to dance with friends!

I've only been here a couple times because the rest of the town shuts down fairly early. If you're looking for a good time dive bar, this is it. There are darts, shuffle boards, and pool. They also do events some nights like karaoke. The drinks are expensive, but that's expected. The service is OK. The employees were all busy though and the kitchen was quick. The food is just OK to me. Will I be back? Absolutely, sometimes we just need to hangout a little later for a night cap.

BEWARE!! Me and my wife ended up here to celebrate her 40th birthday and had only consumed three beers prior to coming here over the course of a few hours while eating dinner. On our tab the next day we only had three drinks while at this establishment (which is not an amount that is out of the ordinary for us to consume) but about one drink in we both completely blacked out for about 8-10 hours of the night and woke up very sick the next day with kidney & stomach pains for 3 Days to follow (neither of us have ever experienced anything like that) it was very clear that our drinks were spiked while in this establishment and despite us sitting right under the camera at the end of the bar & having a very good idea of who did it (their were 2 hispanic men with head tattoos with a gay friend who kept trying to grab me on the dance floor sitting beside us all night), they will not take it serious. I've made 3 attempts with bar staff and management to get a response and filed a police report but they have yet to follow up with us on reviewing the footage and after 12 days will still not even call me back. Multiple staff members have passed this onto the manager with no response, they clearly do not take the safety of their patrons very seriously in this very serious matter. I would caution anyone to be very careful while drinking here.

Great experience having lunch here. If you are traveling with your dog, this is the perfect spot for both of you! The staff was amazing with our dog. He was gentle, friendly and our dog liked him very much! Our dog was thirsty and he kindly brought him water with ice and some treats as well. Here the food was very good. We had lunch outside and it was quite and cozy. The beers were very refreshing as well. I recommend it as a very good pet friendly option to have lunch, dinner or just some drinks.

Stopped here both days we were in Leavenworth. Their honey blossom latte was super good. Fast service and glad we found this spot

J5 coffee is a nice little coffee shop at Leavenworth. We ordered a Vanilla Iced latte. It was great & the staff was pretty nice too.

Adorable little cafe!! Only espresso drinks, no drip, but that’s the best part so i’m not complaining! The store is packed with adorable little trinkets but still roomy and spacious enough. The drinks came out super quick and they have a 8oz latte size (which i got) which is super nice

Coffee was amazing! I was confused about the store, it looked like you could go into like a little coffee shop but all I saw was a walk up window to order. All in all, coffee was amazing! One of the best coffees I had while visiting seattle and levanworth.

The barista was sweet and helpful, the iced coffee perfect on a very hot day and there were lots of great options. I tried the seasonal panela sugar + cinnamon latte and was very pleased!

Very friendly staff! The Mocha tastes like chocolate cake in a cup, so good! White chocolate mocha was just as good. Our favorite coffee shop to stop at

We have a great experience every time we have stopped in here. The first couple times have been with a large group during busy holiday weekends, ordering a variety of cocktails, tasting flights, and pub snacks. We have also stopped in as a couple on a quiet weekday afternoon for a single cocktail. Each time I have found the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We truly enjoy the atmosphere and delicious drinks here.

But everyone else? When I ask a clarifying question and I get "I'm not arguing semantics with you" I'm not exactly thrilled. Amazing drinks, so many selections and great options but not too many that were overwhelming. My group of 4 was well taken care of with delicious food and fast service on top of the drinks we ordered. We were in town for the weekend and went back twice! Will definitely go again if we are in the area

Tasty drinks and food! We only waited 7 minutes and the staff was SO friendly. I'm not sure why people are so quick to complain. Maybe it's "influencer entitlement" but we had a WONDERFUL experience. We come here every time we come to Leavenworth and it never disappoints. The Manhattan and old fashioned are our favorite! Def do the tastings as well.

What a fun stop!! We were there early on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't crowded. The staff was awesome and fun. We had a flight each plus some extra tastings. FYI bought 6 bottles and my friend 2. Ignore the few negative reviews this place is awesome! I wish I lived closer.

Delicious drinks and such a cool selection. We did the elevated experience for $21 for 3 mini drinks. They were very small (like 2-3 sips, wonderfully crafted but not spirit forward. Love the atmosphere and our bartender was very helpful in guiding us through all the food and drink options. Outside seating with fire places or keep it simple and stay inside. There are also a lot of mixers and fun items to purchase for gifts. No wait and lots of seating options.

Second time popping in to this little brewery while visiting Leavenworth. It is small and unassuming but the beers are delicious and servers are top notch! Always a vibrant and fun atmosphere, and huge patio if the weather is good. I love the little "to go" cups as well!

Nice Brewery with great beer. Ordered a small harvest salad and a medium supreme for carry out midweek. The order was ready on time. When I arrived and the staff member told me my total, I was shocked at the price. I wish places were up front about their pricing online. Leavenworth Pizza Company does not list pricing on their website, so I had to comb Google and Yelp reviews and from what I could tell, as of 3 months ago, a medium supreme pizza was $26.99. Usually, I take this with a grain of salt as I know inflation has driven things up, but at most, I figured I’d be paying $29. Well, a medium supreme is now $34.99. I’m all for supporting local, but if you’re going to charge that much for a medium pizza, especially when you’re not up front about the price, at least make it damn good. Unfortunately, the center of the pizza was either undercooked or rolled so thin it got soggy. I do recognize I probably should have confirmed the price over the phone, but did not think much of it as prices don’t typically increase that much so quickly. Hopefully this is a one-off as most reviews are positive. I’ll end on a good note: the salad was great!

To begin, the host was super sweet and kind. This is a busy place (lots of to-go/pickup orders) so don’t expect “fast” food - - - but the wait is totally worth it. I had the mouthwatering Iron Goat pizza and ordered a box of garlic breadsticks to go (still yummy the next day, and I imagine it would’ve been extraordinary had I eaten it fresh). I would happily return here when in town!

Not sure why this place doesn’t have a 5-star rating—because it absolutely deserves it! The pizza was seriously delicious. I had the Margherita and genuinely enjoyed every bite. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I really loved it here. Highly recommend this spot to any pizza lover!

Our trip was absolutely highlighted by the deliciousness of this pizza. My friends, and I have agreed it’s some of the best we’ve had. Not only was it a great time with our people, Amy, our server, was a magically beautiful, bright, positive energy, while being funny and warm to everyone in our party. She is something special, and we endlessly will appreciate her for such a wonderful time.

Stopped over for lunch with our family and had a great time! Ordered the veggie pizza which was fresh crisp and yummy, along with a salad and garlic breadsticks. The pesto was sooo fresh and lovely! Amy our server was very energetic and smiling, added to our experience!

We were wandering around the charming town of Leavenworth when we stumbled upon Leavenworth Pizza. As a group of vegetarians, the Veggie Galore 18” Pizza immediately caught our eye. We asked to replace the mushrooms with jalapeños, and they were happy to accommodate the request. The pizza turned out to be fantastic—generously topped with fresh veggies like bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and of course, jalapeños. The crust was perfectly crisp, and the cheese had that satisfying, melty richness that ties everything together. It was flavorful, hearty, and hit the spot. Leavenworth Pizza offers both indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor patio area with umbrellas. We chose to pick up our order and enjoyed it at the garden area just across the street—a lovely, peaceful spot. What made the experience even better was the thoughtful service. As we were leaving, the waitress kindly offered us extra plates, napkins, and a bunch of topping sachets like chili flakes and oregano —super helpful for a picnic-style meal. Overall, great food, friendly and accommodating service, and a perfect location in the heart of town. Definitely recommend this spot, especially for vegetarians looking for a tasty, customizable pizza option!

The meat lovers was perfectly portioned with 3 kinds of meat and the crust was perfectly crispy and the sauce was very tasty. The vegetable soup was meh, kind of tasted like the canned kind and not sure why it was served in a paper bowl! 🤔 Overall great place right across all the beautiful Xmas lights and we were seated right away on a Saturday night.

Mozart is incredible dining and an overall an insanely good experience. I have been coming here for multiple years and this restaurant most definitely deserves 5 starts and I’m shocked it doesnt. We had the filet mignon and sirloin with the best Demi glaze ever, the steaks were cooks PERFECTLY and we even had a live music performance near us as well, the server was exceptional and the gnocchi we got was an incredible appy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Beautiful place, great atmosphere. Service was great, but it took a long time to get our food out. Other than that, all was good. Drinks were delicious 😋 Stuffed gnocchi was excelent, very flavorful. My niece was not impressed with the handmade butter pasta, but we worked our way through it. We went to celebrate a birthday and she enjoyed our time there with family and friends. It was not very busy at all, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Definitely going back to try the dessert menu.

MmmMMmm! This place, the food, staff and atmosphere were superb!! I wish I could pack up a few meals to take back home with me. MUST TRY the Jagersccnitezel and the Bratwurst with their house made mustard sauce. You’re in for a real treat!! Best German food I’ve had in my life!

We sat on the patio during sunset. The food? Absolutely divine. We knocked three items off our foodie bucket list in one night—escargots, schnitzel, and fondue—and each dish was prepared to perfection. Every bite was next-level delicious. Mozart’s delivers true European flavor with heart and soul. The experience? Impeccable. From the kind person who answered the phone to the warm welcome at the host stand, and especially our incredible servers JORI and TORI—the nicest, most pleasant ladies ever who made the evening truly amazing. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel so special. Plus, the live music drifting from inside created the perfect ambiance. Huge shout-out to the entire team—kitchen, JORI, TORI, and the musicians—you made this evening unforgettable. I’ll be coming back for the rest of my life and recommending Mozart’s to everyone I know. ❤️

We were at Mozart's back in July but I can't say enough about how good the food was. We sat on the deck for a couple cocktails and then moved in for dinner. The steak was incredible and the shrimp was delicious as well. We come to Leavenworth 2 or 3 times a year and this was the first time we tried Mozart's and will be back for sure.

One of the premier fine dining options in Leavenworth. Definitely elevated compared to most of the other restaurants that focus on just sausage / bratts. The menu offers a lot of variety, and prices are on the high side but that's okay considering Leavenworth is a vacation town. The fondue appetizer is perfect for 4-6 people to split, and they give lots of grapes, sausage, bread, apples, etc.. And the fondue is so creamy and punchy and rich with flavor! I got the ribeye onion steak, and it was slightly overcooked, but all of the differently cooked onions were amazing! The escargot was duper rich and creamy (I might not recommend getting this after eating fondue, because back to back rich plates may be too much). The potato gnocchi were super creamy rich pillows, perfectly cooked! This is definitely a go-to place for couples wanting a romantic dinner in a romantic town! Also there was live music while we were there, which was a big bonus! Great musician

Staff is incredible and quick! Went back again, TJ did a fantastic job with explaining different menu items. The gal who sat us, Yahaira, did a fantastic job. Leah was super sweet as well and thanked us for our visit on our way out. Food was plated well and served promptly. You can tell the staff cares. By the way, the pork schnitzel was amazing!!! We will be coming back!!!

Great experience! Jaime the bouncer was amazing!!! He was so kind and caring. He made sure to let my group of friends and I know that if anyone bothered us to let him know. We sat outside and had great conversation with him.

I've heard the food is pretty good, I went in early afternoon, only me and three other people. Apparently they were regulars, I got a beer pretty fast, then it was like I was invisible 🫥 never asked I wanted a menu, or another beer. Not that I wouldn't ask myself, but just wasn't very welcoming. Nice place, will try again

Found a bar in leavenworth to watch game 1 of the ALCS. Biggest series in mariners baseball in the last quarter century. Was sitting there minding my own business in front of the big tv in all my M's gear, obviously very invested in the game. In the 4th inning, the bartender randomly changes the channel, apparently at the request of 1 local customer, to a random week 6 college football game....not even a local game. We look at the bartender and said, "hey we were watching that", but she didn't care. Other people were watching as well and were unhappy and left. It was beyond rude. Closed my tab and went to the loft. Much better atmosphere. Will not be back and will not recommend.

Was an awesome place and an awesome experience. Was an amazing place to spend for my sisters bachelorette party the bouncer (jaime) was so welcoming and comforting when entering he was very communicative about explaining that we should feel more than welcome to come to him. While outside when leaving he asked about our experience and made sure we were okay. Very welcome place and had a blast definitely a place I would recommend to anyone. Will be coming back!

What a great little place in Leavenworth for a drink and bar food. We got the feeling that everyone else in the Post Office Saloon may have been locals and we were possibly the only tourists there? Nice feeling. We understand that value, since we are visiting from our own touristy home town (Panama City Beach, FL).

Me and my friends came from out of town. This place was highly recommended by locals, so we tried it. The pool tables were ok, they really needed new felt and new pool sticks. The noise level was VERY loud as they had karaoke and drunk people singing very loud. It’s a nice spot for locals but i’m not sure about tourists looking for a nice place to have drinks.

I really liked this saloon. The servers are both nice and straightforward. They remembered what we were drinking. One of my favorite places to have a drink in Levenworth.

New fave place! Cozy spot with lots of board games, but I was stoked to find coloring books and sharp colored pencils. Great selection of beer and cider on tap - my hubs loved the cider slushie. Outdoor and indoor seating - love the patio for people watching. Definitely will be back!

A nice quiet escape from the busy town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There’s an awesome selection of ciders and beers, and they have a bunch of games. Great place.

This place is a hidden gem right on the main strip of Downtown Leavenworth. I didn't took any pictures of the location however it is decorated very nice and eclectic. There is some type of Nordic theme in the store and merchandise. Private enough to have a conversation with good music, drinks, snacks, beer and ciders including non alcoholic products. The vibe is very inviting and the bartenders / servers on their table service were phenomenal. Come and check them out after a day walking around Leavenworth well worth the visit.

I bought beer here and later discovered it was already expired. The can showed a production date from 2022, which means the product was long past its shelf life. Very disappointed that expired products are still being sold. Please check your stock more carefully.

Atmosphere was great and Staff was phenomenal! Staff took the time to listen to what i wanted to try in a mead and helped select something off the beaten path from their cooler. All of this while it was a busy saturday night in the summer.

This place was such a cool stop on the PCT. We tried two mead samples and ordered the Hopped Meadjito. It was my first time trying mead and I loved it.

Nice little taproom with flights if you want to sample them. Dog friendly. Took a little waiting to get help and a little asking to identify what we wanted to taste. Decent brews. Nothing exceptional except for the blackberry mead.

On Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, my family of four ate at Colchuck’s. We were shown to a table the moment we walked up the stairs to the hostess and a very nice dining experience commenced. Our server, Stacy, took great care of us as it truly seemed like the perfect family dinner. When it came to an appetizer, we narrowed it down to one of the pretzel options (they have pretzel bites and full-sized pretzels), and we ultimately went with the pretzel bites as Stacy told us those are made in-house. They were fabulous and I liked the cheese sauce they were paired with so much I would order an extra side of it for my entrée. Speaking of my entrée, I got the bratwurst. It was above and beyond what I expected. It was cut in half lengthwise and placed inside a stadium hoagie and topped with onions and cheese. It was delicious and filling. It came with a very generous side of parmesan truffle fries and all I can say is that dish was very satisfying. My wife ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and raved about it. My two young children ordered off the kid’s menu and enjoyed their meals (cheeseburger and chicken strips). This was probably our best Leavenworth dining experience yet. The restaurant was spotless and inviting. Prices right on par with everything else in the area but you do get a lot of food for what you pay for. We will be back when we visit this charming town again. 😎

We were in Leavenworth for the day while vacationing in August and we were looking for a place to get dinner. I don’t eat red meat so I was looking at menus and saw they had chicken here so this is where we chose. We were greeted immediately by the hostess who sat us in a small area with a street side window. Our server was with us shortly after to get drink orders and then meal choices. We shared an order of brussel sprouts — they were very good. And we each had our own schnitzel. This was my first time trying spaetzle and it was great. I especially liked the mustard sauce on my meal and the addition of the cabbage. The food overall was very good. The portion sizes were generous. I ended up taking some back to the hotel for leftovers and ate some the next day. We also ordered the apple strudel without any ice cream or dairy topping to go and had that the next morning for breakfast. It was all very good. Our server, Kaele if I am remembering correctly, was a gem. She was personable and attentive and an overall friendly person. The atmosphere was warm and easygoing. Prices were comparable to other restaurants we had been while on vacation. We had a very enjoyable experience here and would for sure come back if we are ever in the area again.

We visited Leavenworth and stopped here for lunch, choosing a table on the balcony with a great view of the street below. We started with oysters and a sausage charcuterie board. The oysters came in both large and small sizes, and they were incredibly fresh. My husband especially enjoyed the charcuterie. For mains, I ordered the Umami Burger, which had an Asian-inspired twist with sweet-and-sour pickles that gave it a unique flavor. My husband had the Crispy Pork Shank—while tasty, the meat leaned a little on the dry side. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch here and would recommend it to others visiting Leavenworth.

Really great service and excellent food, we went early to beat the rush and it paid off! The Cowboy Burger was on point and I tried one of their adult beverages since it was Happy Hour, highly recommend!

ColdChucks Restaurant – Leavenworth, WA Rating: 5.0 We had an amazing Mother’s Day meal at ColdChucks in Leavenworth! The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, and the staff were incredibly courteous. A special shoutout to our server, Olivia (aka “Live”), who truly went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome—she made the meal memorable for all of us. Our daughter ordered the chicken strips, which came free with a meal—a nice bonus. The pretzel bites were a hit with the table, served with a rich IPA cheese sauce and a flavorful stone ground honey mustard. The harvest salad was fresh and beautifully balanced with the dijon beet vinaigrette, roasted seasonal veggies, and crispy garbanzos—great flavor and texture in every bite. The cheeseburger (8oz Kobe beef) was cooked medium and topped with smoked cheddar and truffle aioli—absolutely delicious. We added an egg for the perfect upgrade. The Chuck’s Reuben was stacked with house-sliced corned beef and packed with flavor, and the Jagerschnitzel stole the show with breaded pork, a rich veal demi-glace, marinated mushrooms, and pickled shallots. Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Leavenworth!

Colchuck’s in Leavenworth is a cozy spot if you're in the mood for German cuisine, especially schnitzel. We visited during our trip and had an overall enjoyable experience. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the German village downtown. The interior is warmly decorated, aligning perfectly with the village's overall Bavarian theme, giving you a nice German ambiance as you dine. We made a reservation online and were seated immediately, though the restaurant wasn’t too crowded, so walking in should be fine on most days. The staff was friendly and took the time to introduce us to their specialties, which was helpful since it was our first time there. We ordered the schnitzel, two salad-like dishes, and a non-alcoholic cocktail—all based on the waiter’s recommendations. The schnitzel was the highlight of our meal. It was flavorful and still crispy, even with the rich sauce and mushrooms poured over it. The combination worked perfectly. The other dishes were interesting but didn’t leave much of an impression—unique for first-timers, but not something we'd go back for. The drink, while refreshing, was also nothing extraordinary. They have a well-stocked bar with plenty of drink options, but we didn’t explore that side during our visit. In summary, Colchuck’s is a great choice if you’re looking to try authentic German dishes in Leavenworth. If you’re tired of the typical deep-fried pork knuckle, the schnitzel here is definitely worth checking out.

Great place, very festive with delicious food. The spaetzle is amazing! Their pretzel and schnitzel is also very tasty. They have good fries as well. They also have a tasty potato salad. You can either sit near the bar or along the front with a view looking down on the main street to people watch. Great spot!

The service was not great, didn’t get any refills until I stood up and grabbed the pitcher of water myself. The atmosphere was the highlight of this place but that does not make up for the food. Not only was it bland and un flavorful after being forced to add “a full red bowl of sauce” but the price was horrible. I know of 10 much better Mongolian grills that give you more food for much less money. My $32 bowl (Pictured) is the same size as the bowl I get at the place that I always go to, and that bowl is $20. They also force a 15% tip on you. This should be displayed at the door before you walk in. Also… they give you a sticker after receiving your bowl, and if you lose that sticker you are forced to pay $45 no matter what. That should also be displayed at the door or made known of before getting your bowl.

Wow! Amazing food! Interesting atmosphere where you choose all your ingredients for a stir fry and then watch the young men cook it on a big grill. Was truly delicious. Also had the Mongolian bbq ribs. Fabulous!!!

I am not 100% sure but this might be the only asian restaurant in Leavenworth. We went in so excited. There's an elevator at the back for customers with strollers or can't climb up the stairs. It was a little confusing as you enter as at that time there was nobody to greet us so we just went straight ahead until we found someone and gave us a seat. We selected the build your own stir-fry looking so delicious. It's like subway but you actually put the ingredients on your bowl yourself so you can put as many as you want as the price is per lbs. Then you have to choose what kind of sauce you like, I didn't get a photo but I think there's 4 selections and I remember BBQ and teriyaki. There's instructions on how much you have to put on each kind of sauce ingredients. Then you give your bowl to the cooks, they fry it in front of you in a large flat skillet? Not sure what that's called. Anyway they pour in the sauce you made and done. My plate cost $35. For me that's pretty expensive. So I was pretty disappointed that it didn't taste good - at all. I guess we're paying for the location? Service was good. The cooks have a tip box I remember and our server was actually very nice. I wouldn't recommend because it was pretty expensive for the quality of food. I added photos with views from our table.

We were a group of 6. While in Leavenworth, we went there on recommendation from a friend who visited there before. Everyone of us decided to build our own stir fry. We weren't very experienced with stir fry much, so we asked the waiter to give us dome tips. He briefed us really well. He gave us tips such as to add considerable amount of Sauce and all which helped a lot. The food was really great. Plenty of options for both non-veg and veg. The final stir fry turned out really tasty. We asked for lots of hot sauce which helped in the flavor.

I'm def not a Karen and rearly write reviews, but i generally LOVE Mongolian grill. Maybe I shouldn't compare the many western Washington grills.But most are all you can eat. My bowl was $45, so the $20-30 range is not accurate. They seem to employ mostly teens. When I walked up I saw them horseplay and throw the stick they cook your food with. It fell on the floor and they picked it up and continued to cook.🤢 I went on to eat my food and got a coke for $4 and then go an automatic 15% gratuity. My bill for one person was $67.

I have now been here 4 times and have enjoyed it every time. I ate here last night and once again enjoyed it. I will say I was sad there was no calamari rings for the stir fry or any other seafood option in its place this time. I see there are some reviews on here saying the pricing is unfair and I would disagree. It’s $18.99 a pound. My boyfriend and I went just over a so our plates were like a little over $20 and it was a lot of food. You can’t even get out of fast food for under $20 these days. Also they have complementary crunchy noodles, rice, and tortillas.

Really great food. If you’ve done Mongolian BBQ before, the pricing always seems to be on the high side. Here they charge by the weight without sauces. So if you’re looking for something light and healthy you should really check them out! Great location overlooking Front St.

We have been going to Leavenworth for a couple of years and just discovered this gem recently. We went 3 times in a month. The food is just consistently great and the vibe is nice as well. Cocktails are also delicious. We are always on the search for great chicken and waffles and this is one of them, just the right crispness, same with the wings. The pork belly is tender and flavorful. The grits is so creamy.

The Best Micheladas and Bloody Marys in Town If you're looking for a brunch spot that truly excels at both food and drinks, you have to try this place. We stopped in recently and found ourselves completely blown away by their cocktail program—seriously, the micheladas and Bloody Marys here are the absolute best. They were perfectly seasoned, spicy, and the ideal way to kick off the weekend. For the main event, the food held its own. I opted for the Waffle and Fried Chicken with Green Chile Sauce, which was utterly yummy! The chicken was crispy and the waffle was perfect. However, I have a top tip: be sure to ask for the tasty green chile sauce on the side. That way, you can control the heat and ensure you get to enjoy the sweetness of the waffles without them getting soggy. We also had the classic Scrambled Eggs with Bacon and Potatoes, and it was exactly what was needed. The dish was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh—the perfect, hearty cure after our first night of Oktoberfest! Great atmosphere, incredible cocktails, and food that hits all the right notes. Highly recommend stopping here for brunch—just don't forget the side-sauce request!

Ordered pizza. It was flavorful. Two of us had plenty to eat. We weren’t super hungry though. Brought us water. No ice. Which was unusual. We ordered tiramisu. It was nice tasting. Had caramel sauce around it. But for $12 one would expect big serving. Oh no. It was not. I would say skimpy serving barely for one person. Overall I think it was nice to go here but don’t get desert! Desert not worth $12 by far.

the food and drinks were truly delicious. The menu variety impressed us: I loved my Korean barbecue slider, my husband had their pizza, and my niece and her friend couldn't get enough of the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We visited mid-week in October and were thrilled to be seated right away. For an excellent menu and a cozy, upscale vibe, this place is highly recommended!

The pizzas were so so good! We also enjoy the baked carrots and leek dip with pita bread. Really tasty, highly recommend!

We were part of a group of 6 adults here for dinner, birthday boy wanting steak. We walked in at 5p to make a reservation for later and they got us in promptly at 7p. We (2 of us) ordered the tenderloin kabobs, wontons, focaccia bread and tenderloin fries (shoestring). The kabobs were AMAZING. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The focaccia bread was served with marinara, which I prefer oil & vinegar, but it was good dipped in the juices from the kabobs. The wontons were different. Aiden was a great server, bringing us a chocolate lava cake with a candle. We would definitely eat here again.

The food was incredible! Rarely do I bother to review. I’m reviewing before I get the bill! Beef Tenderloin was very tender and tasty - with beef tallow fries and blue cheese crumbles. Oy! And the Leak and Artichoke dip app with Za’atar flatbread. Another Oy! My taste buds are doing backflips! And the service was also very good- friendly and helpful with suggestions.

Truly enjoyed this place. The prices are steep, but the pretzel was fresh and super yummy. The service is out of this world, the bartender and the lady helping the second floor were ultra friendly. They gave us great recommendations and went above and beyond. The cider was great, so many different flavors!!! I will be back!

Loved the cider house! Huge selection of cider and filling meals. Really enjoyed the large pretzel! Adored the flight of cider since you get to choose from such a wide array. Pricey for the flight, but worth it to try the flavors!

Ordered a couple of flights to try out the different flavors. Was not disappointed. We had already eaten at another place, but noticed many people had ordered a large pretzel with sausages and dips. It looked very enticing. This place is family friendly, has live music and most importantly of all, has great customer service.

First of all, it’s expensive, so heads up there. We each got a flight (5 tastings) and a brat pretzels and it was $72. The pretzel itself was $26 which was good but definitely not worth that price. The pretzel was good, but nothing special. The brats were pretty basic. The best part was the kraut and mustard. Tons of cider options which is great and 5 or 6 beers as well. I loved every one of them. I had the loganberry, habanero lime, pineapple mango, hop infused and imperial guava and it was hard to pick a favorite. Overall and fun place with all the cider options to try, just prepare for it to be a bigger bill

Delicious! I had the meat lovers pizza. I was hesitant about the cauliflower crust, but I was very happy with the taste and texture! It was AWESOME! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the service was wonderful! I'd definitely eat here again.

As someone who isn’t from the area, let me tell you what a treat it was to discover this place - the atmosphere, the hospitality, the food/drink are all noteworthy. We were greeted by who presumably is the owner, stepped away from the bar to look at the menu, and he came back to check in on us after a few minutes. The kind gentleman let us try multiple different ciders before we bought and sat us at a table upstairs. The drinks and food were delicious (we had a huckleberry ale, a pumpkin ale, a barrel aged specialty ale, and a Reuben pretzel). I absolutely suggest stopping in here!

Delicious German style cuisines, prompt staff, clean restrooms, live entertainment, sports and friendly atmosphere. Tune knuackwurst and kruat was a treat.

Tasty cafe food with German selections. Thus, it has a more well-rounded menu than most Leavenworth restaurants we have tried. Off the main strip. Only one block away, but less congested than the typical tourist traps. My favorite choice, from eating there multiple times now, is the pulled pork burger. It is also very convenient that they serve breakfast until 2 p.m, and you can choose to swap German potato pancakes for hash browns. The kids' menu is expensive, but very good quality, and the kids were very happy. Every time we have been in there, we were the only party with kids. So the serene ambience is also a plus for some, I'm sure. The scene at the bar is usually quite active, despite the warm, peaceful, vintage late-19th century design.

Couldn't decide where to go for brunch so we decided to walk around til we found some place that looked good. We hit the corner near this place and were hit with a smell that made us stop turn to each other and it was decided. We went into a few doors trying to pinpoint but once we walked in we knew it was the spot. Sat down for some good Bloody Mary's and amazing food. The breakfast schnitzel was the perfect start to a lazy Sunday, and the cozy atmosphere made it hard for me to want to leave. Overall best place we stopped in all weekend.

The restaurant was busy, however the wait was only about 15 minutes. Once we were seated and waited another 15 minutes, we finally got the attention of the hostess and she went to get us something to drink. The hostess filled our drinks and our refills and was very nice. I ordered a top ribeye, which I understand is not the top steak of the market, but when I received my steak it was a 10 oz steak which was about 40% fat and grizzle. We were seated and it was as though we were in this "gray zone" and a part of the restaurant that the waiter could walk by numerous times to tell us he would be with us and then would not return. After the meal, we waited 15 minutes for our check and I finally went to the cashier spot to pay the bill. The waiter finally did show up, I tipped the hostess, who actually did give us some service at which point the waiter got very indigent and as we were walking out, hollered something after us about how "he was busy".

We love the Tumwater! I am astonished to read these reviews here. It is not French cooking but neither is it Denny’s (where everything has the same flavor cooked in the same oil). I am a rather picky eater, and the food is a very good quality and very affordable in a tourist town. You can have a drink with your lunch if you so choose, and I love the eclectic, overdone decorations. My favorite is a fried egg sandwich with a coffee liquor drink (the salad dressing is a bit too salty, but I like it), the home-made vegetable beef soup, the potato pancakes, and anything on the breakfast or lunch menu. They have sugar-free syrup. My friends from New York came to visit for my wedding (they live next to the Vanderbilt mansion, so they can eat anywhere they choose), and they had a blast at the Tumwater bar with friends. It can be crowded over festival week-ends.

We came in on a Thursday evening with 4 adults and 3 hungry kids without a reservation and were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait which we were willing to do. We were grateful that they would accommodate our group without a reservation. We walked around the block and returned 25 minutes later only to be told that they gave our table away and we could get back on the list if we wanted to wait again. If the expectation was for the 7 of us to wait in their small and quaint waiting room with restless and hungry children for them to call our name, I wish that would have been specified.

Never have I been in a restaurant where the servers seem trained to look through you when you make eye contact and attempt to make requests. We waited 40 minutes just to order. The waitress, when she finally got to us, gave sarcastic attitude when we voiced our frustration. Ordered a bloody Mary, never got it. Coffee creamer was curdled. Waters sat empty. Not even the bus girl offered help. At least the cook did his job and made good food. Still not coming here again.

Came here for dinner. They had a great vibe with live music. They had a menu indicating allergens and I was able to get a burger, fries, and mixed drink all gluten free. My husband got the dirty fries and loved them. Good food, decent prices considering it is in a tourist area. I'd come back! The live music was fun 😊

Great place with friendly staff, easy seating, pleasant atmosphere. Food is good but pricey but I guess to be figured since Leavenworth is a tourist town. We liked it though. Worth a stop for drinks and bar food.

The menu says they serve bratwurst, but its actually a kielbasa! It’s red and fine grain ground, not grey with coarse meat. Wont be coming back for the brat. Plus they charge extra for the bun. EDIT: 09/01 Yes, this Brat is from Stein. I was there on 08/31 and ordered Qty. 3 Brats. We didn’t finish them so we brought it back, sliced it, and ate it with cheese.

I wanted to love it… Location is fantastic and the outdoor seating is amazing. But. Schnitzel was dryer than a popcorn fart in the desert 🌵 Bratwurst isn’t traditional. Ketchup was fizzy. Chicken strips were good. From the rating I can only imagine we had a really off afternoon. I know they can be better and hope they do.

Loved being there! Saw it on instagram and it lived up to the expectations! Great food, good beer for my hubby awesome ciders for me! The pretzel was outstanding very much a Taste of Germany! Thank you for taking me back!

We stopped in for snacks and drinks on their outdoor patio space on a gorgeous day. The service was amazing. The 2 guys who served us were friendly, kind and helpful. Beers were on point and the black pepper aioli was so good we asked for extra to take with us. Fried cheese curbs and loaded fries were delish! Highly recommended!
